Bud,

Thanks for the cell phone offer but I just assume let the phone number expire. I've been getting a lot of unwanted txt messages and calls from a couple Nero's waitresses. I really don't need that aggrevation. I also recently purged most of my numbers so I only have 10 that I want to keep. I will just send a general txt message to them when I return. Lastly, I just may make a quick trip in the end of June. It's in the very early planning stages.

Have a safe fun trip! :)

Hey again Prog,

End of June would work well for me. No matter the outcome, my testing will be completed and I'll be "foot loose and fancy free" !

That also gives us enough lead time to include some of "loonies" from here !

Alright guys!

Who's ready for another adventure in the Philippines? Cherry boys are welcomed. I decided I can't wait 6 months before returning (I miss my honeyko too much). Looks like I can make a trip May 29 - June 8. Also, my August dates are going to be Aug 14 - Aug 24.

FD,

I sent you a separate email with details. Can you make the May/June dates (or part of them)?

LasVegasLites, Rugby, and Trihunter:

Where are your trip reports? I know LVL and Trihunter have some great stories to tell because I witnessed some of their antics! :)

FD,

That's great news. Look forward to seeing you there. I just need to get the okay from my "jefe" on Monday then I'll book my flight ASAP. Your brother turns 50? I didn't know you had a YOUNGER brother?

Hooky,

I already made the reservations this morning. I have a special arrangement with Roselle - I bring her Almond chocolates and she finds me a room :)... The weather in June is hot, muggy, and a little rainy. I was very disappointed with the Internet service at the Orchid. It was up 5 days out of 15 so I'm staying in the Hibiscus Wing in May (my favorite wing). That TJ run next week is not looking good. I have baby-sitter problems. I'm still working it... :(

Will post the rest of days throughout the week:

Here is a post of first trip to PI. The only thing that I can recommend is stick to the advice of the pros that know the city and the people. I had a bit of drama the first couple of days that could have been easily avoidable if I had listened to the pro’s and handled my business the correct way. I chalk it to a lesson learned and realize is that the best thing to do is NEVER make promises, and be upfront about what you want when you’re there. Progman put it best when he told me “it’s your vacation” and you have to work out on what you want out of your trip. These are not the type of women that you normally deal with so it’s a whole different approach.

Day 1 –

After leaving home 37 hours prior I finally touch down in Manila. Customs was not a problem and breezed right through to meet my driver that had been arranged by The Orchid Inn. I know there are quite a few agencies that do this but I highly recommend the drivers there from Orchid. They made sure we stopped and picked up enough beer for the two hour trip to Angeles, and also was very helpful in arranging for things to do while in the city that did not involve women or beer…I take that back, nothing in Angeles is done without women or beer. Couple hours of Manila traffic and we arrive in Angeles. Be warned for anyone that has not been to a third world country that the drive in can be pretty disturbing when you see some of the living conditions that they live in. As soon as I get to the hotel I get checked in, shower and hit the bar by the pool. I found it pretty easy to strike up conversation with some of the others their. If you do not know anyone when you go out to Angeles you will find that it is not a problem to meet up with them. Soon I met up with Prog, LasVegasLites, and B. As a side note I think that the people you are with on your vacation can make a huge impact on the time you have. These three guys were all outgoing great guys and a lot of fun to party with. They made the trip I am sure 10 times better. Shortly after meeting them it was down to Santos to take the edge off a bit. I stopped off and grabbed a shave real quick which was a fun experience and a great shave. Quickly after I am upstairs at the Black Pearl where I get a bit of pressure release from just the cutest girl who really knew what she was doing. What a way to start the trip!! This is where I learned the lesson that if you say something it is considered a promise. For instance the girl asked if I come back tomorrow, and my immediate answer is saying sure without really knowing if I would. I made it as an off-hand remark not realizing that this is considered a promise to these women. I should have learned my lesson. I decided to rest up a bit then we hit TomCat later on for an SOB meeting. What a blast! Women from all the clubs attending, free drinks for you, and a meal – all for about 8 US dollars. Unfortunately I was way to tired to to continue going. It had been about 48 hours with no sleep and heavy drinking and I was crashing hard. I decided to head out but was going to take a girl back just to crash out with me and get a little bit in the morning. I ended taking a waitress who had not bar fined before and was very cherry. I figured she would have no problem with crashing for the night. I get back to the room and we spend a bit chatting and find out she is a pretty good person with a great head on her shoulder. She had quite the roadmap and what she was doing and what she was trying to get to. A real sweetheart and for a single guy with no family and a busy work life it would be the ideal type to get involved with. Not a good thought to start out what was supposed to be nine days of debauchery. Next morning was a surprise when she started menstruating. So much for taking care of the morning wood, but no problem enjoyed a good breakfast with her and sent her on the way.

Day 2
I met up with Whistler, Prog, Lvl in the morning and got to see what I missed the night before with their lovely selection of ladies. Also as another side note I would see that LVL is def. the type of guy you want with you for pure debauchery. He was becoming a quick legend here in Angeles and was very upfront with everyone on what he wanted. He def. knew what he was in Angeles for and was getting it. They all left back to their rooms for a little afternoon fun with their friends and myself being empty handed after sending the waitress home heading back to Santos for a little pressure release again. Later that afternoon went with Prog to the mall with a good friend of his. Guys, Prog is the master of finding the most wild women. I would have prob. gave 2000 pesos for Short time with this girl, she just oozed sexuality, but also a real sweetheart. Saw some more of the city and got a lesson in how crazy they are in the Philippines for cell phones and text messaging, unreal. We then started a bar crawl that night that made up for the night before. Now this is a bit where I started my own drama. We hit a few bars and we were really lighting it up. Like Prog has said the way to have fun is always have a smile and a great time. We took that to heart and were getting girls naked at the bars and had the mamasans up and dancing with us. A great time! During that time of going between bars we kept going by the one with the waitress from the night before and she kept coming out to talk. She kept asking if I was coming there and I replied back with the correct response of “I try”. I did this correctly three times. On the fourth time and the beers screwed me up. In talking with them again for the fourth time she asked the question as I was waking away and I said “sure”. Grrrrrr. This was B’s last night out so he was recruiting women for a naked pool party. Late that night Prog, LVL, and B had their women and I was still trying to decide between a couple of girls and some bars on what to take home. I decided to head back to Voodoo to BF a girl I had an interest. I was easily distracted when near Santos I had an offer for 100 peso BJ. She quoted 300 but I joked and said 100 and she agreed. Okay, so off to room for her to get naked and give me BJ. I would have loved to done more but she was attractive and their had to be a reason she was not in the bars so I figure she might not be to clean. Now the bar that the waitress was in is up from the hotel, so I figure I would stop by and just have a beer, be nice and head off. I sit with her and it was a completely different girl. She was very very friendly and her hands were everywhere. She asked about coming with me and I mentioned she was menstruating. She mentioned that there were other things she could do. Okay, now this girl was a sweetheart and I will be honest, I liked her, just something about her. I BF here and tell her that that I come pick her up after the pool party. I then meet the guys at Camelot and saw the most beautiful girl there. Damn!! I went to the bathroom and one of B’s lovely ladies was waiting for me with her. I could not resist the way she was grinding so decided to BF her to go to Pick-Up. This bar is amazing!!Had a great time there and the girl from Camelot was just shaking it the right way. Now here was the problem. I wanted this girl but I also did not want to disappoint the waitress so I had to figure out what to do. Instead of being upfront about everything I did what you should NOT do and scheme, scheme, scheme. I told the girl from Camelot that I had to get up early cause I had plans ( which I did), so I took the Camelot girl back for a short time, kicked her out about an hour later and went to pick up my waitress friend. I also decideded I had a great time with the girl from Camelot so BF her for the next night for the bar tour. I picked my waitress up and she had very loosened up and although she was menstruating she did show their were other holes available. Turned out good but I should have been upfront with both, hopefully this does not bite me in the ass later and I need to figure out what to do with the waitress as she is a sweetheart and is great to hang with.

Rugby,

It was uncanny how much you looked like Bud. When I first saw you at the pool bar I thought "What the hell is Bud doing here so early"?

I'm glad you liked Edith. You should have taken her up on her offer and test drove her. You wouldn't have hurt my feeling - she's just a good friend of mine, not my honeyko.

I wish I could have spent a few more days and partied with you more but it sounds like LVL took care of you. He was a natural in AC. After a few days he was flying solo with no problems.

You back home now? Ready for another trip? Haha...

Greetings all *****mongers, Prog, I will be able to make the August 14th trip. Been on the road to much as of late however Aug looks great. Will get the ticket once I get a confirm that you and whomever else on the board will make this trip. I almost got a free trip last month but it would have been to one of the southern Islands and it did not materalize. Sounds like you all have been hitting the bars in good standing in AC. The only thing I disagree a bit on is the truth with the bargirls--the real truth is that they will not be truthfull to you--you just have to understand it. I had this discussion with a buddy a few years ago on this very issue so to prove the point I had him make a commitment with one of the sweethearts for the next evening-- I then went and barfined her just to prove the point. They are in the business to make money and we bar hoppers have a reputation of being really easy distracted and forgetting our promised the previous evenings. I am the worst for this so If I really like a honeyko, will will pay her BF and ask her to come to my room at 1:00pm the following day. It works really well for me. Prog will be out in San Diego within the next two weeks. Send me a contact number, normally stay at the RedLion in nat. city, a block from the famous Trophy lounge. FYI, this is not my favorite place, I had better luck in McDinni's with the Navy chicks. Best to all and lookforward to meeting some of you in Aug. Met Iceman last year. Good guy. semper fi devildog

Okay boys,

I'm confirmed for a May 30 arrival. I will be in the PI until June 8. I booked China Airlines. I didn't get the best prices around but I just need one more R/T flight and I will have a free trip next time. I paid $720. This included taxes, fees, and ticket delivery charges. I used Travelocity.com again. I also got my hotel confirmation back from the Orchid Inn. I'm staying in the Hibiscus Wing this time but I will still bring my laptop.

Devil Dog,

I haven't got the approval yet for August but it's pretty much a done deal. You don't have to convince me about these bargirls. In regards to the one I like - I think she does care for me a lot, but once I'm gone, she's going to screw as many guys as she can to make money. I don't have a problem with that. I surely wasn't the first guy that went to bed with her and I definitely won't be the last. I enjoy being a butterfly but I also like spending time with one girl - especially one that knows what I like and don't like. I will not be in San Diego from 20 Mar through 27 Mar. You have my email address. Let me know specific dates you'll be in town and we'll hook up. I also emailed you my cell phone number. Maybe we can get Firedick to come down for a few hours. We can play with the girls down in La Zona Norte. It's been awhile since I was there and need to brush up on my Spanish... :)

Hi Guys - especially Prog, LVL and Rugby;

Just arrived back from AC yesterday and am still decompressing. Haven't had a beer for 24 hours. Very strange feeling.

I wanted to thank you all for a great trip. I brought my "to do" list with me to AC and managed to finish it and then some.
Prog and Rugby have already mentioned some of the highlights but some of the most memorable moments for me came from the SOB's and Treasure Island shower shows.

Also, Prog's girls seemed to have all the best lines. "I'm a 3 holer!" "White women have pussy's THIS big (makes a 4 inch diameter sign). My pussy is this big (1/8 inch)"

Prog, LVL and I also chartered a beautiful 1949 vintage plane and took a 45 minute flight over Mt. Pinatubo. We arranged it through Jimmy Boyd and his info can be found on the Rick's Cafe website.
Since this was my first trip and I only had 5 days, I was really just starting to get my feet wet when I had to head back to Manila.

The first day started out great because, even though I arrived at midnight and Prog was recovering from an earache, both Prog and LVL were up to an evening out. We started at the Camelot and finished at the PUB that night. At the PUB, we wound up in the VIP lounge. The VIP lounge is no longer charging a special fee. When we arrived, it was pretty quiet but we soon had our own little party happening there. Since it was my first night in AC, I was trying to stay "open" as long as possible so I could scout the talent. I also wasn't aware that, as a "cherry", I was getting some extra attention. I met four girls on the second level of PUB and soon had them in the VIP lounge. I had been dancing and fooling around with two in particular when someone bought a blow job shot and Jennifer decided to unzip my fly and then take the shot out of my pants. Cathy then said "I'd rather do the real thing" and was soon blowing me on the couch. Jennifer jumped in with a "me too" and I was then receiving a double blow job. I did a quick time check and, yep, I was in town for a whole 3 1/2 hours so far. The staff was pretty nonchalant about this but they did close the door to the VIP lounge while the oral sex was happening.

Of the two bj's, Cathy was the clear winner (she was one of the 3 Good Times girls at PUB, Jennifer was from Camelot). However, I decided to take home Jennifer since she had such a terrific body. I later found out that the PUB banned the Good Times girls for the bj antics at the VIP. I spoke to the manager a couple of days later and he denied it so I don't know what the real story is there.
So, that was my intro to AC.

As I mentioned, since Prog, LVL and then Rugby and I spent so much time together, our stories will be similar. Typically, the day would start out with breakfast at the Orchid around 10 or 11:00am. Good opportunity to see who everyone went home with since, about 1/2 the time, the girls would be there for breakfast. On the first morning, one of the waitresses called LVL "bakla" since he had an earring. This became a running joke through the week and LVL was a great sport about it. Every morning, he'd show up to a chorus of "good morning Bakla!" from the waitresses and assorted BF's.
After breakfast and swapping bula bula, we'd separate for daily errands - shopping, bank, internet, etc. Usually, by 2:00 we would start the barhopping although this may be substituted by a quick trip to Santos street. By the way, Prog brought me to Santos street for an afternoon quickie on the second or third day.
I was running on pure adrenaline on day three since I was unable or unwilling to sleep with so much pussy all around me. I took the Santos girl back to the Orchid for a quickie which turned into an 1 1/2 hour session of half and half and half and half and half and half. This girl wasn't that attractive but damn, she wasn't going to stop until I came.

In the evenings, there always seemed to be something going on - special events, SOB's, etc. so we would generally head for them. Even without a special event, when Prog, LVL, myself and later Rugby, walked into a bar, the place seemed to liven up. In practically every bar we went into, the mamasan or papasan would buy us a round of drinks. Since we basically brought the party attitude with us, the management showed their appreciation as it attracts other clients to either come in or to stay longer.

By 2:00 am we would arrive at the PUB. In fact, during my stay in AC, there wasn't a night that I didn't finish off at the PUB. Whether I had a BF or not by then it was great to burn off some of the beer on the dance floor. One evening, I was on the dance floor for almost an hour with at least a dozen girls and not a single guy in sight. Each girl took her turn dancing with me and showing off a special talent - kissing, grinding, vibrating, etc. Just a wild, wild, time.

Although we closed the place a couple of times (around 5 am), I tried to get out by 4 and take the girl(s) back to the Orchid and spend a couple of hours with them before almost literally passing out from exhaustion.

Some posters have mentioned losing weight after AC. I can add to this too. LVL and I both noticed our abs improved after the first week. LVL also threw his back out during a 3some. I managed to bruise my pubic bone (here's where Prog would say "too much information Tri!") since so many girls I was with wanted to be banged hard.

So if you're keeping track, there was only between 3 to 5 hours of sleep available each day. Since I was only there for 5 days (I later returned for a weekend and met up with LVL again as a co-judge at Kokomo's wet t-shirt contest), I was able to handle the sleep depravation without harm. I also had some of the best, most memorable times of my life. Including a 3some that was one of my top 5 experiences of a lifetime.

I was in Manila for business for a week after AC. While there I visited the EDSA entertainment complex. It was a letdown after AC since the LD's were double and BF's 3 or 4X AC prices. The girls were pretty and the selection was huge but I just wanted to get back to AC for the more intimate surroundings. Fortunately for me, I'd prearranged a meeting with a Pitstop bartender and she spent the first weekend with me and showed me around town on Sunday.

I found a place in Manila called the LA Cafe which was full of ex-pats and freelancers. Here's what happened when two girls walked up to my table.

Girl #1: Hi, would you like a massage?

Trihunter: No thanks. I'm just waiting for a couple of friends

#1: I will give you a great massage for 500 pesos back at your hotel. No sex.

Girl #2 (overhearing #1's offer): Hey, I will give you a great massage too AND I'll give you a blow job

#1: I'll massage you and give you a blow job too

#2: I'll give you a massage, and a blow job and I'll swallow

#1: I'll swallow too

#2: Okay, you can do whatever you want with me bacause I think you are pogy.

Trihunter: Well, that's certainlly something to think about girls...

Girl #3 moves over to my table.

#3: Do you mind if I prostitute myself?

It turns out that #3 is a rich Filipina that lives in Austria. Bought my drinks, took me to a nice hotel, banged my brains out, bought me breakfast and invited me to stay with her in her villa at Puerto Galera for the next week (alas, I was working...).

#3 went to Puerta Galera in the morning. That day, I bought a cell phone and txt my favorite AC girl. She took a bus down from AC and spent the rest of the week with me. If I can't go to AC, I brought AC to me....

Greetings All, Prog you have the right attitude, my only point was they need to and will make the $$ as easy as they can and they should. There is no doubt some do fall a bit for some of us guys especially when we are nice to them and they have a good time with us. on the other side of the coin some of these girls get mistreated really bad by many of the customers and in some cases by the MamaSan's and after a bit of this abuse they get hardened quite quickly. Bottom line-- "Its all Good", go over have a good time, treat them right--if they treat you right, stay away from the ones that have an attitude and they are normally easy to pick out. Like I stated in a very early email, my first trip to the PI was in 68 and have been back almost every year since and never had a bad trip, never been ripped off. To give a bit of history, when I first went to the PI was in the Zambales area of San Antonio, about 30 miles from Olongapo/Subic/Barrio. The peso to the $ was 4-1, and a barfine was 12-15Peso. There was still martial law in affect thus if one went out of town you stopped by the local PC station and hired an armed guard to go with you barhopping. The NPA (Hucks) were the big threat those days. All was good those days, going down to the southern islands was a holiday, Cebu being one of the best. We used to go to Manila and get on the big ferry, about a 24 hour journey however was a non stop party as many of the bar girls were returning to their provences. In fact on one occasion I road the ferry down and partied so much turned right around and road it back, doing the same thing on the return. Hell it was only about 10$ one way. One got the VIP quarters so you didnt have to sit on the hard benches with chickens and little piggies laying on your feet. Anyway glad to hear that all had a good time recently. Anyone know when the new hotel will be finished to give the Orchid a bit of competion?? However I dont think there will be much competion as the two hotels will get together to control the prices. semper fi devildog

Where does one start to describe something that has changed his life? Before arriving in Angeles I only had a “feeling” of what I would experience I had been in RP previously but after “living” the Angeles experience nothing could have prepared me! I am a 43 year old divorced male with 3 children. I live in Las Vegas and you would think that the action in this town would be enough to keep any man happy….wrong! I wouldn’t wish on anyone, even my enemies, the same fate I suffer living in “sin city”. The only sin I see is the way men in my age group, social status and lifestyle are treated or mistreated by woman. My inactive and invisible social life led me to search, just as most of you, for a better answer…well I found it, its called Angeles! I do not plan to give all kinds of details but just my overall impression of the things this “heaven on earth” gave me…..

Travel
Since I had traveled to RP before I knew what was in store. For those of you that have not experienced an overseas adventure just one word, patience! Although I took the shortest flight I could find, 15 hours (LA to Manila w/ a 50 minute stop in Honolulu), the headwinds turned my arrival into 17.5 hour drudgery (mainly because of my excitement to get there). Having been a member of a few message groups and as recommended, I planned ahead and scheduled shuttle service into Angeles (this trip I used the Ville, the next one will be the Orchid). It’s hard enough to sit in a plane but your travel adventure is far from over. The 2.5 hour drive (traffic wasn’t that bad) was uneventful but if you have never been to RP just wait until you experience this! Hold on, close your eyes and you will get there safely (and you’ll never know how!)

Accommodations
Wanting to make sure my cherry Angeles trip would be the best possible I booked into the Orchid Inn. There is only one thing I can say, I will never stay anywhere else! The facilities, staff and location are tops bar none! Being so close to everything turn into my favor on the many nights I either was too drunk to walk or had not yet found my partner for the evening (found two free short times just walking to the room for stuff!). Roselle and Guy are 2 of the nicest people around and they went out of there way to ensure my satisfaction. I did run into a problem and it was quickly and professionally handled. I recommend this hotel without hesitation (rooms are as low as $29). Again, since I did not want to chance anything I booked into the family deluxe suite ($50) and loved my room (as did every girl I took to it!) The pool area is a great place to hang out and watch everyone’s previous night’s conquest appear out of their rooms (some dam fine women around ALL THE TIME!) not to mention the Flamingo girls arriving to and from work throughout the day!

Food
I did not venture many different places for dining (if I find something I like I stick with it). Most of my meals were eaten at either the Orchid (recently created a new menu) or at Margarita Station (excellent place for lunch and appetizers!) The one thing I found was something called a shwarma (misspelled). It’s a little place right across from Ayers Rock and these little sandwiches were awesome! Pita like bread stuffed with veggies and meat or chicken (try the combo). I ate them 5 times while I was there. What a great snack when you just need a little bite! Take the time to find them, it’s worth it!

Transportation
Once again because I chose to stay at the Orchid I rarely used trikes or any other mode of transportation. The times I did require a trike I simply had the security guard pick a driver for me and he helped me with any issues related to trike drivers (warning forthcoming). I found a driver I was comfortable with and made arrangements that anytime I need a ride HE would be the one to do it for me, his name is Lito and his trike # is 1200. He is usually found right by the Orchid and is an honest guy (I recommend you do the same if possible). I actually did take a jeepney (a full one at that) but was with a young lady so that experience was fine (I don’t think I would try it on my own). Most trike rides cost me 50 pesos and was agreed upon before I stepped foot in the trike. A ride to Perimeter Road was 100 pesos. Now about my warning…I am a friendly person by nature, trusting as well, on 2 separate occasions I had trike drivers try to get me into their trikes on the promise of tickets or some other entertainment adventure, NEVER, NEVER accept these offers! I was fortunate that I had read a post warning me about this exact thing and now I pass that one on to you. Only use trikes from on or around the hotel and use your head. I was actually angry that these guys try to take advantage of me but learned a lesson in the process, I put my guard up!

Miscellaneous
Manicure 40 pesos (never had one so I thought what the hell!), Haircut 40 pesos (needed one!) and the best thing a massage! I don’t remember the name of the place but it is located at the end of Real Street just before Macarthur Blvd. It’s a Japanese massage parlor and begins with an “As” something (sorry I don’t remember)…anyway for 400 pesos I was bathed, scrubbed, stroked and worked for 1.5 hours (no sex but I wasn’t looking for that anyway!). I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day after throwing out my shoulder pounding on one of the 3 honeykos I had the previous night! Something I would highly recommend. Something else I recommend and had never planned on doing….getting a cell phone. I went to SM Mall and purchased a cheap “Buddy 3388” for 3000 pesos with a 400 load (whatever that means). It was one of the smartest things I could do. I did not buy it for the girls but for the guys I was with. Anytime I needed to find someone (as long as they had a phone) I could contact them. I obviously used it for the girls as well and as a matter of fact scored a couple freebies just by having the phone! Do not hand your number out unless you want the distraction. I went away for 2 days and when I got back I have over 50 texts within the first few hours I was so confused I forgot who I was sending texts to but it can be fun. It is an invaluable asset to have and I wished I had bought it days earlier then I did.

Activities
It’s a tough thing to find things to do during the day, other then nurse your hangovers so the daytime activities are limited. I did get the chance to fly over Mt. Pinatubo and it was an awesome experience. The pilot picked us up in a vintage military jeep, drove us to his pristine 1949 airplane and took us home in his classic 1967 Cutlass Convertible, highly recommended adventure and cost only $120 (can hold up to 3 passengers). If you have a chance to attend a wet t-shirt contest do it! I was a judge in the March 8th, Kokomoz contest and had a blast! It was well worth the 4500 pesos and I will do it again if the chance presents itself. For *******.com members I highly recommend the Subic photo shoot. It was the highlight of my trip, a very nice getaway from the dirt of AC and into a clean, fresh air environment with water and sand. We had 12 fun loving girls with us and the entire trip was an adventure I will be sure to do again.

Bars
It took a little while to figure out but I found myself having much more fun in the smaller bars then the larger ones. I liked the fact that I could enter a small bar, even alone, and have the ability to change the atmosphere. The larger bars with the larger selection of girls are great. Blue Nile, Nero’s and Camelot all were great bars but if the environment was not festive it was nearly impossible to change it. My group and I went to bars like Blue Fox, Geckos, Treasure Island, Dirty Duck, Champagnes, Brown Sugar, Confetti’s, and my diamond in the rough, Bananitas. These bars had a much smaller selection of girls but half of the fun I had in Angeles was walking into a relatively dead bar and turning it upside down! It can be intimidating to walk into a bar and be the only customer (happened many times) but after a few ladies drinks and what I always did was buy peanuts for the girls (200 pesos) from the vendors, the atmosphere changed quickly. If you walk into a bar and have no fun, look in the mirror, it’s you; the girls are ALWAYS ready to have fun. Pick up bar had to be one of my favorite places. I went into that bar EVERYNIGHT I was there (and I was in AC for 21 days!). I don’t know what I would have done if the place had not been available. It was a great place to take girls as well as meet them. I purposely went in alone 4 times and came out accompanied! The atmosphere is great and it is a great place to people watch (girl watch). If you like to dance, which I do, don’t be surprised if the girls flock to you while on the dance floor (and they do a little more then flock!) The only criticism I would give the Pick up is its choice of entertainment. Too many times the bar would be hopping and then they would put a dance troupe or singers on stage and the whole attitude of the place changed. One night they had a band that played and I wound up leaving in disgust, only because I was excited to get there, dance, meet girls and when the band is playing or the singers are singing or the dancers are dancing nothing else is going on and many people wind up leaving. The DJ is also another issue I had. far too much chatter and not enough playing of familiar music. Other then that I hope this bar survives and is there when I go again in August.

Girls
Ah the reason for going in the first place! I have always been attracted to Philippine girls but this place has made me LOVE them. Their attitudes, smiles, warmth and genuine approach made me smile for days on end. I only had a couple of problems, my fault more then theirs, and overall enjoyed every one I was with, and I was with 31 of them! I wound up taking girls I never thought I would take only because of their attitudes. I always looked for the stunners and did find a few but overall the slightly above average to average girls are the best bet. My best night (a 4 some) was with 3 girls I would have never imagined I would be with; they tore me up (the same night I threw out my shoulder!) As they say “you can never judge a book by its cover” should be the motto in AC. Trust your instinct but the attitude of the girl is the most important hands down!

Runners
Don’t know if I would use the term runners more then non-performers. I had a few that changed attitudes as soon as we left the bar. They either got shy, too loud or too different. I simply handled the girls by telling them that if they did not want to be with me (of course after the EWR is paid) that they could leave, not one of them did but I wound up sending a few home. Overall non-performer average 3 out of 31 (less then 10%). Hell even I performed a runner! One night I went into Nero’s very late and BF’d 2 girls, not realizing how drunk I was we went to Pick Up and as I sat my head began to spin and I started to fall asleep. While they danced I paid the tab and left, alone! I don’t know the outcome but I am sure it wasn’t too pretty, oh well live and learn!

Budget
Airfare: $1000 (Las Vegas to Manila)
Hotel: $1300 (20 days @ $50 per, including room charges)
Spending cash: $2600
Total: $4900
Days: 21
Daily average: $233 (includes everything)
Girls: 31 (2- 4 somes, 4-3 somes, 4 short times, 5 freebies and 9 single ewr’s)
Value: PRICELESS!!!!!

Conclusion
I’m hooked and I am had! I have already booked my next trip for August and plan to visit AC at least 3 times a year (more if I can). The feeling that I got while I was there will never be let go, it is etched into my soul. I never felt so valued. To sit at Margarita Station watching the world go by, walk down the street or by just being there and having numerous, attractive 19, 20 and 21 year old girls walk by smile, giggle and show attention is just a feeling and sensation I refuse to let slip away. For those of you who have been there this is all old news, for those of you who have yet to venture, as Nike says JUST DO IT! Don’t hesitate, don’t wait, you will thank yourself and will never be the same!

LasVegasLites,

That was a great "Reader's Digest" version of your trip. If the other fellas only knew the details! They'd either would never believe it or would be booking flights out to AC right now! Hope you get over that sore throat soon - too much DATY if you ask me. Look forward to seeing you again in AC in August. I'm also checking flights to Bangkok. Pattaya is a lot of fun in Aug/Sept. It's still a bit warm and rainy but it's low season and there are at least 6,000 girls to chose from (no bullshit). Maybe we can get Trihunter and Rugby out there as well. You guys ready for a sequel? :)

Far_east,

Welcome to the best section on the WSG!! There's just a few of us posting here but you'll find zero flames here and all the guys are very supportive and want to help the rookies. You were in AC last year? When? I was there in November? It's a great time to go. Looks like there's an August trip in the making here. You're more than welcome to join us!

My email address is: lazonaman@yahoo.com

devildog,

You are dating yourself... Got your emails. Hope to see you in August as well. LVL and I are thinking about combining the August trip and doing a week in LoS, then a week or two in the Philippines. Very early in the planning stages but we might have some dates posted within a week or two... :)

Trihunter ("B") & Rugby - Where are your trip reports???

Trihunter,

Nice report... My girl saying all those classic lines had to have been Anita. She's a real character. I just love her to death - she says anything that comes into her head... BTW - It was James (PUB manager) who told me about banning the girls. He said that the PUB management & owner have been worried that other bar owners were looking for a reason to shut them down because of all the business they were taking away.

It was great partying with you. We gotta do it again!

LasVegas,

Great report. Your emphasis on the girls and their attitudes etc makes great reading. I went twice to PI last year (Sept and Nov) but only stayed in Manila. These were my first times in PI. There are plenty of girls there, but the city is huge. I get the impression from your report that AC is much smaller and more intimate and thus more conducive to second or third timing a girl that you like. Is this true?
Also, it seems that its easier to hook up with fellow mongers in AC (because its smaller??). My friend and I met up with an expat in Manila but just getting from Makati to Malate in the traffic is a major proposition and we weren't able to monger together as much as we would have liked. Having a few mongers around can really enhance the experience.
Like you, I love the warm, smiling attitude of the Filipinas. The ability to speak English with them also enhances the experience too, I think. I just got back from Thailand a few weeks ago (see Bangkok and Pattaya boards) and while I had a great time, most of the Thai girls speak almost no English.
These AC posts are getting me hyped up for a return trip to PI, maybe to AC this time. Maybe if you have time, you can point out the differences in the mongering experience in Manila v. AC. And why you think AC is so much better.
Thanks

Don

Just do it, you wont regret it. I have heard many good things about Manila and Makati but after AC I have no desire to find out. The girls are sweet, the bars are plentiful and the prices are extremely reasonable. If your going back to RP go to AC, you will never look back! Will be there in late August so if your there lets party! Peace out....

Don,

LasVegas won't be able to help you out in comparing AC to Manila since he didn't spend any time in Manila and it was his first trip to AC.

Since my trip report was posted late, it's easy to miss but I mentioned that I was in both Manila and AC in late Feb/early March.

I started my trip in AC and spent 5 days there before having to head to Manila on business. When I was in Manila, I stayed at the Copacabana hotel which is right across from the EDSA entertainment complex. This place with about 6 girlie bars. I popped into the Pitstop, Firehouse and Casino (not a casino...).
It was a Saturday night yet there weren't a lot of customers. When I arrived at the Pitstop, I put on my scowly face and told the mamasan I was just there for a beer. The reason for this was that I was there to pick up the bartender and we had to act as though we didn't know each other. We even had a pre-arranged code: Arf meant hi. Arf arf meant I like you. Arf arf arf meant come across the street when you're finished work and I'll bang your brains out. When I saw her all I said was arf arf arf. Needless to say, all of this was prearranged through Yahoo Messenger.

After the barking, I went over to the Casino bar. The dancers were back from the bar by about 10 ft. (this was true in every EDSA bar I saw) and were definitely bored. I remember visiting some of these places in their heyday in 1986 and the girls did some pretty good dance numbers. Seems they don't bother anymore. Too bad because at least it would give them something to do. All the girls were very pretty and on average, much better looking than the typical AC girl.

BUT you're definitely not going to get the AC bargains here either. At Casino, two women sat with me - one on either side. I bought both a LD but was soon sorry since one was interesting to talk to and the other was just hanging around. Then a 3rd girl came up and started giving me a shoulder massage. I chatted for a while and then decided to head back to Pitstop to do some more flirting with my bartender friend. The bill came and the LD's were 250P each and my beer was 125P. Compare this with a 125LD and a 32P to 100P drink in AC. To top it off, the girl giving me the massage asked for a tip. I pulled out 40P and she scowled at me (oops, undertipped again...). Later I found out that the barfines run at 1000P and the girls expect another 3 or 4 thousand pesos. A bargain in the US but after AC - I would have expected 4 or 5 girls...

When I went back to Pitstop, I sat at the bar and chatted with my bartender friend when she wasn't busy and the mamasan came up to me and started giving me a shoulder massage. I mentioned to her that I'd been to Pitstop before when it was in greater Manila (Manila had a mayor, General Lim, who cracked down on the girlie bars and booted them out of the city. That's why Pitstop, Firehouse, etc. all moved to Pasay). So the mamasan says "I remember you" and I was thinking - yeah, right I'm sure you remember the two visits I had 17 years ago....Then she mentions the name of the friend I was with and the girl I BFed. I'd even forgotten the name till she mentioned it. Very strange but impressive. For a minute I thought that maybe it was her that I BFed.

Going into the EDSA complex is more like going into a mall. All very clean and shiny. In contrast, walking around AC is more like walking down an alley in a bad neighbourhood. Dirt roads, trikes, broken sidewalks, hawkers, vendors, smoke pots, toxic waste streams, and someone always trying to get your attention. If you do or wear anything unusual, someone will be sure to shout a comment. When LVL and I walked to Kokomo's for the wet-t contest, I realized I forgot my camera so I ran back. At least 6 people made fun of me for running (what's the big hurry in AC?), then I went back again to change into a bathing suit (where you going this time), then I walked back with my judge's hat (hi judge!). No one would even notice you in a larger venue. You will also run into the same vendors every day and they will remember your name and everything you said to them so you have to be careful about bula bula.

All the vendors had all the same stuff. Binoculars were pretty popular as were t-shirts and watches. I had two pair of cowboy boots hand made while in AC (took 3 days and I visited the boots each day as they were being cut, stitched, nailed, etc.). Total cost: 5000P or less than US$100.
Most of the bars in AC are pretty similar. Much smaller than the EDSA bars for the most part. There were large ones like Nero's and small like the Blue Fox or Dirty Duck. As LVL mentioned, he likes the small ones since we could change the atmosphere just by walking in. That wouldn't or couldn't happen in EDSA without having at least 10 guys walk in.
I only went into a couple of bars solo in AC and was quite comfortable doing so. At EDSA, I was very uncomfortable going solo. At AC I knew I was going to get fucked (in a good way), at EDSA I felt like I was going to get plucked.

The smartest thing I did in Manila was buy a cell phone and start dialing the numbers of the girls I'd met in AC. My favorite girl took a bus down and came right to the hotel (by then I'd moved from Pasay to Makati as the traffic was too inconvenient). She came down with a friend who was suppose to leave the next morning but they were both having such a great time that they both stayed for the next 3 days. Instead of "barhappying" the first night, I took them to an archade and then a movie at the Ayala Center Mall. This place was huge and the girls, being from the provinces, had never seen anything like it. It was cute watching the girls in the archade because it was their first time. My honeyko didn't even know what the pedals were for on the racing game and was terrified when she hit the wall and the steering wheel vibrated. The second night we took a taxi to Malate and the LA Cafe (75P ride). By the way, don't take the white cabs in Manila as they don't use their meters and charge twice as much as the red and yellow cabs. At the LA Cafe, we had dinner downstairs and then went up for some live music and dancing - we left at 4 am and the place was still hopping.

Okay, so I'm off topic. You should get the idea though - AC is more of a small town atmosphere. Good bargains, and for the most part, good people. Manila was too pricey and didn't have the intimate atmosphere of AC. However, there is fun to be had in both places if you know where to look.

Don;

Hope you don't mind if I chime in on this one. Most on this board are very pro AC, and I read this board alot just to live vicariously through the others who get all the action. I'm very neutral to negative on AC and did not have great experiences there, so it may give you a different perspective. I'm generally pretty objective, but keep in mind my history. I do have 30+ bar fines in my back pocket, so I did give the place a fair shot. Here's my views:

Layout: Manila is much larger .. more similar to Bangkok in that regard. AC is really just a few blocks of bars, so it's really small. The core of it could fit inside a shopping mall. Yes, there's alittle more to it, but for all intents AC is Fields Ave. A dirt road, with a stretch of 2-3 blocks of concentrated bars and hole in the wall eating joints. It has it's charm at night, but during the day it is clearly a dump of a place. AC is a great place to stagger from bar to bar, drinking-partying and flirting. AC is also developing the fastest, with many new bars coming up every month.

Food: Manila obviously has more options, but AC is small and efficient. You can find places to eat right next to the bars. You don't have to stray very far. Options are limited though. Orchid has 24 hour room service, and so do some of the other hotels. Margarita station is within walking distance and is also open 24 hours. Food in AC is just ok, in my opinion.

Beer: Primarily San Miguels, with each bar possibly having a 2nd option. I like my beers cold, and generally the AC stock is warm. SM's are not high on my list of favorite beers. The drinks are cheap! Buying rounds for everyone in AC is very easy on the pocket book.

Girls: Ratio of girls to guy's is a strong point for AC. You won't see alot of customers in AC. You may see the same 20-30 guy's every night. Girls are friendly, but lower in quality (looks not personality) compared to Manila. Mostly 6-7's, some 8's. Not much above that, although there is an occasional gem. I prefer Manila in terms of quality. I have had alot of GFE's in Manila and BKK and almost none in AC (go figure), so I'm always puzzled to the comments to the contrary. Not all the girls will stay with you .. some want to be bar fined and just go bar hopping (Alot of game playing in AC in my opinion .. primarily among the high end girls). Some will not go with you, some will say they have their period, some are cherry girls, etc. I have had many high end girls in Manila, Bangkok, Korea, etc. I have even gotten phone numbers and side action in those places. I have never had that happen in AC. Others always note that AC is famous for it's GFE, so your mileage may vary (See side notes below).

Side Notes: Caucasians are king. Other races have mixed results, in terms of GFE or which girls you can get back to the hotel with you. I know I may get called on this one, but that's just been my observation. I'm not a racist .. just want to be clear that's not why I'm commenting on this. It just does not come up often, and I think it is important for others to know. I had so few GFE's in AC, that I now only go to Manila and Bangkok, where I get treated very well.

In summary: If you like turning back the clock about 50 years, and like the remote location. If you enjoy kicking back by a pool, not having to walk more than 2-3 blocks in any given direction, and want to be able to bar hop by foot, then AC is probably for you. It's a love it or hate it type of place.

I hope I don't get flamed for some of my comments, since they are well intentioned.

Asiatraveler2;

I think your post about comparing AC with Manila was very fair. I will just add my limited experience (very limited).

I first got to Manila and barfined a girl there and she was the best screw I had in years. But she was a bit older and had a kid. But she more than made up for it in technique and personality.

I then went to AC and I paid less than half for a girl threr than what I paid in Manila. The girls I barfined in AC were much younger, and in my opinion just as attractive as those in Manila. But Manila is a much bigger place, so comparisons are hard. Apart from the lays in AC, which were good, I enjoyed the atmosphere there. There is not much to do in AC other than the obvious, so I really felt at ease. Having said that, I don't know if I want to stay there for more than two weeks.

To sum it up, if you want to really ***** and meet up with likeminded guys, I would definitely go for AC. A nice balance would be to do both. I can't picture myself not going to AC and just staying in Manila. However, I could see myself doing a little of both (mostly in AC if finances are tight).

Just my thoughts.

Asiatraveler2,

You are correct about Caucasians getting better action. I think we’ve had these discussions some time ago but I'll rehash my thoughts, opinions, and facts for those interested:

A typical Asians visitor tends to be Japanese or Korean. They have a reputation of walking into a bar, selecting a girl without even talking to her, taking her back to the room, fucking her, tipping her BIG, and sending her on her way. There's really not a whole lot of motivation for a bargirl to throw her Filipina charm their way. There has been some speculation that there is still a lot of animosity towards Japanese because of WWII but I really don't think that has a lot to do with it since these girls are too young and uneducated to make the connection.

Finally, AC is all about attitude. If you come to town with a smile on your face, and a few pesos in your pocket, you will do just fine. Most Asians I've watched in the bars always have a scowl on their faces. This is big turn-off with the bargirls. Also, never be too shy and quiet. I'll qoute some very famous words (at least in AC): "You shy - you die"...

FD,

I was thinking about a TJ run tonight but I'm still working out babysitting issues. My daughter turned 18 yesterday and split. I now have no one to watch my son. My June trip is only partially in June. My in-country dates are 30 May - 8 June. The August trip is going to be a combined Thailand/Philippines adventure. LasVegasLites and I will be in Thailand from 15 August until 22 August. We then fly to Manila and will be in AC until 31 August. Hehe... I see it took you awhile to catch that remark... :)

I'm from the states, but looks like I'm paying for my Far East counterparts. I can also never get the high end girls there. They won't even barfine with me. I can get the 6's and below, but I can get those anywhere and already date 6's & 7's, so it does not make much sense for me to go all the way to AC for that. In Bangkok, Korea, Japan, Macau and even to some degree Manila .. the high end girls are easily attainable. Have you experienced the same thing in AC or is it again the "asian" treatment? I'm a 7 my self, late 30's and athletic build, and spend alot of money. I do well with girls in other parts of Asia, so I wish I could figure it out. By the way, I do smile alot, and I'm always in the middle of alot of the party's in AC. I rang the bell in many a bar in AC, and always treat the mamasan's and bartenders great. I get treated well, until it's time for the barfine. It's always a no go with the 7's and 8's. After that it's all down hill.

Asiatraveler2,

I look Japanese but I am American and have yet to have any problems whoring. But I think race is important. It can work for or against you.

I think the main reason the Japanese and Koreans do what they do has more to do with language. It's a big hassle for them to talk and joke in English. Even if they are good speakers, it's usually hard for them to understand the Filipino version of it. Another thing is that they usually stay with a certain group. Of course, things are changing a bit. If you had them hang out with the guys on this forum, I bet things would be different.

I have a bad habit of asking the girls I barfine which nationalities usually barfine them. I seem to have chosen the ones the Japanese have. I think they have good taste! LOL.

This is a continuation of my report. Day 1 and 2 were detailed as I had typed them while they were happening. The rest really was a blur and I seem to mix the days. I will try to give a rough view much like LVL and B did.

Bars:
I have to agree with LVL in liking the small ones. As Prog mentions often, go in with a smile and have fun. You will be amazed at the amount of guys that really sit back and don’t say anything. They look bored and so do the girls. Go in with a smile, buy some drinks and have some fun. The small bars are easy to make an impact in if you go in with the right attitude. I liked Dirty Duck, had a lot of fun there and a great starter bar. Treasure Island has a great shower show, which was unforgettable. Bannanritas has great looking girls as did Voodoo. Champagne was my all time favorite for beautiful women. My most memorable was Volcano. I went there with LVL and a couple of girls that like to drink and we had a great time. Bought the mamasan and bartender some drinks as well and they were in on the fun. If you get a chance try the 911 once….once!

Girls:
Man. It is very difficult not to fall in love here. These girls are the kindest sweetest little things and can make you feel like a king. I went more for quality time then volume this trip, as that is what I needed. Next time will def. be a volume trip as I have learned the ropes a bit more. I found everything I was looking for with these women. I did learn that it is best not to keep over two days as they tend to get a bit attached, and you can as well. For great afternoon ST if you are staying at the Orchid you cannot beat Flamingos. I tended to get an early afternoon BJ and shave on Santos Street, late afternoon ST from Flamingos (can order like room service), then going out with my girl of the evening.

Phone:
Have to get yourself a text phone while you are there. Look at LVL report for the type. Just be careful whom you give your number to and don’t be surprised if you are being txt asking for your friend’s number to. It will keep you busy during what little downtime you have there.

Vitamin V.
This is just a caution. If you plan on using this… get a prescription. I bought some while in Angeles towards the end of my trip as I was feeling a bit wore out from the afternoon sessions and lack of sleep. I actually had an allergic reaction that put me in the hospital for two days of my trip. Nothing worse then laying in a bed for two days knowing paradise is pretty close. I actually was lucky that I had a smart girl who got me to the hospital when I lost consciousness, saved my life they say. I went into hypertension so just be careful when taking it.

Money:
I went for the cheap room myself of 29 dollars a night and found it to be fine. Smaller, but it suited for what I was looking for, only spent about 6 hours a day if that in the room anyways.
Plane: 782
Hotel: 582 ( 9 days and I was charging ST to the bill)
Drinks and Women: 1200 (9 days)I can’t recall how much separately.
Towards the last few days I had a woman with me but was not having to BF, but we sure drank enough.
Hospital: 200 that was two days in the hospital and medicine etc.

Friends:
This trip would not have been what it was without the people I met there. Both natives and off the board. Prog, LVL, and B, you guys made the trip memorable and I thank you for that. I met a lot of people that live there, I won’t mention their names here but also great guys. I had a few people come visit me in the hospital when they heard I was there and I appreciated it. Thanks again guys!

I won’t forget this trip. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. If you go out there, like Jimmy Buffet (sp) says, Change your latitude, Change your attitude. Its all fun there.

Asiatraveler,
Thanks for your detailed description of AC. It sounds good to me.

With regard to the quality of girls in AC v. Manila, I don't particularly need to be with 8s or 10s to have a good time. Last time, in Manila, I took an 18-year-old stunner out of the LA Cafe and back to the Manila Hotel where I was staying. Like many 18yo girls, she didn't know how to fuck properly. We couldn't even have a rudimentary conversation because she didn't know anything. She was awestruck with the hotel and started to lay into the minibar, which pissed me off. Likewise, in Pattaya a few weeks ago, I barfined a beautiful, beautiful go-go girl. She barely moved in bed. No participation. I guess she thought that I was supposed to come just by being in bed with her-- A medium girl with a good personality is what I like.

I got a kick out of your saying that you were neutral to negative on AC, but still had managed 30 barfines during your trip!! Jesus!! I can't imagine how many barfines you'd do if you were hot for the place:)

AC sounds like the kind of place where you can kick around with a few guys and have lots of laughs and beers, and girls. I'm ready for it. I'll check the board on a regular basis to see when there are a bunch of guys going.

Don,

There are two trips in the making:

30 May - 08 June

22 Aug - 31 Aug

You're welcome to come join us. So far the May/June trip is just me but I'm hoping as the trip gets closer there will be more guys signing up. LasVegasLites and I have also committed to the August trip. As always the base of operations will be the Orchid Inn. Sounds like you are a Thailand veteran. You should do just fine in AC. There are some simple rules to follow and you'll be a king. Send me an email if you're interested. lazonaman@yahoo.com

Nice report. Thanks for the pics of your honeyo. Wow, she's very cute! :)

Wow, just got through all the trip reports. Sounds like prog did a good job showing the ropes. I remember my first trip, RW took me to my cherry Santos run, and Prog got me my cherry almost everything else, ie Kitten Club! RW also got me my cherry cherry girl.

It seems like we all have one thing in common, we like to have fellow mongers along to party with.

Now with this added motivation, I'm going for records next week. I have been almost celebate since last trip and going to see if RW's theory works for sure this time. I'm having second thoughts of having girls pick me up from the airport. I'm thinking of making a total new start and not even go with any of the girls I had been with. I'm trying to avoid drama here. With one exception, my Volcano girl. I told her to come Friday and we can hit a beach.

LVL, I know what you mean about living here in Vegas. I'm in the same boat as you are, single dad ect. I also think that is why I make mistakes by getting serious feelings for these girls.

I have vacation for the Thailand trip in August! So count me in.

2 days...

Thanks for the offer, but no plans yet. I'm amazed at how long your ventures are .. about 3-4 weeks at a time. I wish I could pull that off. I make alot of short 2-4 day stop overs, and always deal with last minute plans. Take care and have fun!

Don;

It is a great place to forget about the rest of the world for a while. The parties are alot of fun. Playing games with the girls are also a blast .. peso's for a flash or shot, etc. And NO .. It was not 30 barfines in one trip. HaHa! It was spread over several short visits (split time between AC and Manila) .. about 1-3 a day. Actually the count is probably higher, since I did barfine groups (2-4). Usually the "best friends" of the girl I really wanted. Bar hoping, Karaoke, and a couple of the local discos. I count those as one bar fine, though, since I usually only went back to the hotel with the one I wanted. Just did not get any close GFE's. From the time we reached my room, it was the obligatory Ice box raid .. quick shower .. let's finish so I can go thing. Like they expected ST the moment they reached my front door. Very disappointing for me. In Bangkok, they almost always started with "ST" and ended up staying with me overnight. With the exchange of e-mail addresses and phone numbers the next morning.

I hope you find heaven there in AC .. many others do! Take care!

OK...I'm in !

But it's a "good news bad news" thing Prog. June is just not going to work. I couldn't get in to AC before the 4th anyway.
So, I'm going to combine my Fiji trip with a P.I. trip. Getting from the P.I. to Fiji may be a challenge, but I'll figure something out. I will probably do the Malaysia Air "Access Asia Pass" which will get me to Manila and Tokyo and I can catch a flight from Tokyo to Fiji.
Does anyone care ? Sorry...just rambling, thinking out loud.

Hyey. I might pop in a pop a few ladies in August. Which means you guys might have to go diving as I will be so popular. Some questions: how bad are the rains in August? (I like to be dry in bed). Also, how crowded will it be? (I don't like crowds, only 3-4 ladies in bed with me. I'm kinda shy). Also, anyone check out Cebu Local as he might be worth meeting.

FD,

What do you mean it's not hard to confuse me? I don't understand you. Hehe :)

It may be for the better anyway. I think I may skip AC altogether in May/June and hit Puerto Galero, Boracay, and Bantanyan Island (sp?) instead. While I’m in Bantanyan I hope to maybe hook up with cebu local… It’s still in the planning stages. I have a lady friend who is helping me with the details. I think she figures she will be going with me…

Skinless,

You sure the PI is your kind of place? If your type of woman was anything like what Freeler fucked then these Filipinas will be way too cute for your liking! It's still pretty wet in August. You can expect it to rain at least one hour every day. The biggest problems is the mud and getting a cold from getting wet then walking inside a cold air-conditioned bar. It’s still a lot of fun. I celebrated my 40th birthday last August in AC. August is low season. Ratio is probably 50 to 1. How was your Thailand trip?

Rain: is that a big downer if I go there just to fuck? I was in AC many years ago but I was fucking my wife and she was ensuring I fucked no one else.
Is AC now too small that the US forces have pulled out?
What else is there to do besides bonk?
50-1 is 50 women a piece, right?

Progman, Skinless,

Progman wrote: 'Skinless, You sure the PI is your kind of place?'
And then you give the wrong reason!

PI in the wet is ten times worse than Thailand in the wet. Thailand did a lot to get rid of excess rain in the past ten years or so. PI did nothing.
Thailand has no dirt roads in the bar areas of towns like Pattaya, Patong etc. PI invented dirt roads, hence the 'mud' reference!
Thailand has a sewersystem that works. In PI many bars don't have a toilet, excuse me, 'bathroom'. Compared to Thailand PI is filthy.
And last but not least, Skinless, it is impossible to travel in PI like you can in Thailand.

50:1, sounds more like the bar ratio Pattaya:AC, as you have checked for yourself, Progman!

But: It is possible to get some women BOTH Skinless and I would fuck (and send on their way...).

Fuck it Freeler. You are amazing. I have experienced Filipino toilets and they are something. We have fucked the same owmen as you well know.
So: where should I go in August for a few gentle weeks? I was looking forward to some little Filipina cutie but.......

Freeler, which of those countries or others in SE Asia would top your list for a few quiet months of rest and, ahem, recreation? You make a strong case for Thailand.

Freeler,

I knew I could get you out of the shadows. You're right about flood control - The Philippines has done almost nothing about it except in the larger cities but even those efforts are half-ass. In Angeles roads like A. Santos Street can be very treacherous. Too much work just to get a blowjob is you ask me.

Where did you get your information on toilets? Of all things to compare between Thailand and the Philippines you bring up toilets! HAHAHA... By the way - toilets are called CR (comfort rooms). All bars have them and they are very clean - at least the ones I have used in Angeles and Manila. ...When did you last come to the Philippines? 1960?

That ratio might be a little higher. But it's close to what I'd see in Pattaya. Difference between the two is the girls are more aggressive in Pattaya than the PI (IMO).

Skinless,

It will rain a bit but it's not as bad as what I've seen in Thailand. After an hour it will stop. Seems like most of the time the rains occurred during the mid-morning hours and stayed relatively clear during the evening hours. Not much else to do in Angeles during the day besides fucking. I say this because I have been too lazy to find other entertainment. I have a girl or two that will hang out with me all day if I want. I usually stay at the hotel during the day. I swim, read a book or compare stories with the other guys.

Don't let Freeler talk you out of a Philippine trip. Come on out for a week and decide for yourself. I think you will enjoy yourself. He is just a mean old fart that needs all those "creature" comforts that the Philippines don’t offer him. :)

Freeler is right about transportation in the Philippines. Thailand is much better but you can still get from one place to another - just takes a little more work.

datamater,

My May trip to the Philippines is not going to include Angeles City. I will be spending my time with a friend in Puerto Galera and Boracay.

Progman,

We agree on almost everything, it is scary!

1998/9, in Vian street/road, there was one 'CR', in between two restaurants. A genuine [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) alley. Don't forget your boots...:(.
Places more up-market of course were better equiped.

I would imagine that in 1960, PI was relatively more develloped than it is now. THNX to Marcos & Friends, and a bunch of total dumbfucks thereafter...

PS Every now and then you sound a lot older than the 40 years you claim you've gathered:D!
PPS If you have guts, come to Thailand no later than August 5, and I shall show you some stuff that will make your head spin.

Quote: "I would imagine that in 1960, PI was relatively more develloped than it is now. THNX to Marcos & Friends, and a bunch of total dumbfucks thereafter..." <--- you're probably right but I think the people are still better off!

There are plans in the works to put a 5-star hotel on Vian Street. The owner of Pickup Bar was planning on building a place to rival the Orchid Inn. Let's hope he keeps the prices to a reasonable level.

I'd love to take you up on your August offer but I may actually be in your home town during that period of time (at least I'm going to try). I will be visiting customers in the UK during the later part of July and I was thinking about hopping a flight to AMS at the end of the trip. Last year tix prices were as little as $85 USD r/t but hotel rates were outrageous (the Euro ruined a good thing going in Amsterdam IMO). I'm going to use some of my Marriott points this time and stay at the Marriott Amsterdam on Stadhouderskade.

Angeles City has seen a huge growth in the entertainment industry over the last 4 years. In my opinion the clubs are better than the ones in Manila. There are a lot of pretty girls but not the numbers you find in Manila. Of course the barfine in AC is 1000p ($18.75 USD) were as some of the bars in Manila charge you a barfine of $1000 just to get the girl out of the bar. The girls then are asking from 2000p and up.

With the addition of the Pickup Bar & Disco there is now a place to get half-price and free pussy in Angeles City.

Finally, You and I agreeing? This can't happen. You're probably still that same asshole that slammed me on the Pattaya threads...HAHAHA!!! Peace brother :)

Skinless,

Just to add a little to Prog's comments. August is actually the tail end of rainy season. A good chance you'll get the hour a day, but you may get lucky. Angeles is in the flood plain of the Zambales Mountians. The whole town is slightly sloped. The touble is, the streets are the drainage ! Freeler is right about the RP being filthy, but at least by the end of the rainy season, it's had a good flushing.

August is slow season, ratio is good. But it's about the worst for diving. Poor vis. Try Jan-March for diving.

Day 1
I arrived at in Manilla and my ride and my girl where waiting for me. I talked about having two other girls meet me, then they started getting all dramatized on me, in other words, wanted to own me during my stay. So I decided on a girl I met and didn't get the chance to be with my last trip.

Sheryl is a little spinner that used to be a doorgirl at Flamingo. She is a blast to just hang with and a dynamo in the bed. I'm writing this just 24 hours after hitting AC and only with one girl, yet I've only had about 6 hours sleep. We took a break to eat twice and then the rest is fuck sleep fuck... She is very hard to let go, but there are others to be had, right? She is not working now and the subject of money has not come up. I could honestly stay with just her and be very happy.

Day 2
After Sherryl and I finally got around to eating breakfast I decided to get things started. I lost track of how many times we had fucked and sucked the night before, but I felt good for the little sleep I got. We did a little shopping on Fields and stopped in Cambodia to cool of and have a drink. Inside I bought a lady drink for a tall stunner. She said she didn't like multiple bar-fines. I persisted and asked who her best friend in bar was. She said her sister, another tall hottie. Her sister said it would be fun and things were looking good until they both expressed thier dislike for blowjobs. Oh well, time to move on.

Sherryl and I went back to the room for a very long fuckfest, showered and it's time for dinner. Afterwards, Sherryl left to change clothes and would later find me at Camelot. I texted my fellow Vegas buddy and he told me he was at Camelot now.

I found him there and he introduced me to an American local. I had a lot of fun last trip with a very hot spinner cherry girl las trip and ended up bar-fining her tonight. Sherryl came and we decided to go to Blue Nile so my Vegas buddy could see if a girl he was interested in was working.

It was a typical night inside Blue Nile and my girls got a little hard bodied dancer for me to play with. She was hot, but had an attitude (This will happen when you already have two bar-fines in tow.) My local buddy, my girls, and I went next door to the Executive Club while my Vegas buddy worked on his girl for her first bar-fine, not a cherry girl though.

The Blue Nile Executive Club had what seemed like an endless amount of 7,8 and close to 9s. There were only about a half dozen customers. I think this is due to the fact that a lot of guys think you still have to have a membership to go inside, you don't. I saw Lyn there, a girl I knew from my last two trips. It was nice seeing her, but I had no interest in being with her. The last time I saw her she was drunk and crying being dragged home by her friend.

After my Vegas buddy got his bar-fine, we hit Geckos. I had a lot of fun in this bar my last two trips and tonight was no exeption. I picked what I considered the cutest girl in the bar to play with. She was a little shy and wasn't into the grind that I was seeking. I asked who her best friend in the bar was and she picked a hottie that was dirty dancing on the stage. I asked them how they felt about multiple bar fines and they both said they liked the idea and said they were very good at blow jobs, even threw in the work teamwork a couple times. I told them I would be back later this week, meaning it. I even had them write down thier names as I get a tend to get a bit absent minded in this town.

Afterwards we hit the Pick Up Bar. The first floor was crowded so we went up to the second. The girls went to the dance floor while us guys shot the shit. A dude started hitting on my cherry girl big time. She was dismissing his advances, but he kept persisting. My local buddy asked if I wanted him to end this, and told him to do it now. He sprinted down the stairs and up on the dance floor he went. Ten secondes later the dude jumped off the stage on the wrong side with just a little help from my new buddy. This guy is very cool, and I noticed he did not drink any alcohol.

After a bite to eat I took my girls to the room. I got a little drama from Sherryl, but ended up playing grabass in the bed after we all showered. I might have been able to fuck them both, but I was just too tired to put forth the effort. The cherry girl left a little after 6am and I'm typing this as Sherryl is still sleeping. I'm feeling a little restless now, I think I go and...

Prog, I have been going to Laguna for the past 9 years since I found out about it. I always stay at the Southern Palms Resort. In opinion its the best place there for a number of reasons. Jeff, is the Manager there and a top notch person and friend. Honest as the day is long. Its a very safe place to stay, internet in the office and you can charge everything the entire stay to your room. Its located in a compound, great chow, swimming pool, jacuzzi and a bar located next to the swimming pool with about 25-30 girls at least. Really no need to take anything from AC there however if you do you can normally find a BF willing partake!! As far as the diving goes cant give you any good scope unless your talking muffdiving of sorts. I always take one of the bboats out for a few hours in the mornings. Good way to get rid of the hangover and its really pretty along the coast. Cheap as hell, think 300P for 4 hours or so. I never stay out the entire time. There are not many bars in the area, a couple within walking distance. Great VFW club down the street, food, beer and pool tables. The Southern Palms is owned by Aussies and think its somehow attached by business association with the Southern Star in Angeles by Gate 2?? Dont know though. You can get the Fly the Buss directly to the Southern Palms or they will meet your at the Airport, Long ass ride however but they always have lots of beer and soda. You can see whats its all about on their web site. Get the rooms 1-7 which are facing the ocean (10 feet). I normally stay 3-4 days then head to AC for a more faster pace. Stelletos can be really wild at times. You will see my name on the wallsGive me a call if you need any other info. Semper fi devildog

I just want to drop a “thank you” to the posters on this board, which I stumbled upon quite accidentally a few days ago… I’d never heard of Angeles City, and was completely unaware the WSG forum. The information you guys are providing is amazing! At last, kindred spirits!!

Frankly, despite a few criticisms voiced on this forum (I suppose even Eden would have some vocal detractors), you guys are describing heaven on earth to me, well, at least a short term heaven… Over the last couple of days, I’ve read every post on this forum, including the archives, as well as local AC sites such as Orchid Hotel and theville and all their links. Progman, LVL, Rugby, Mongering, Trihunter… (All you guys; I’m sure I’m leaving out a few…), damn, I can’t thank you enough for the info. I hope you won’t mind me inquiring a bit more about the AC specifics; I AM GOING TO AC (for the first time), AND THE SOONER THE BETTER! A pure hedonist who has, fortunately, always done extremely well with women, I can’t wait for the debauchery of AC…

The nearest trip that I noticed for any of the AC vets was end of May/beginning of June (Prog), but now see that he’s not visiting AC (Prog, is that due to any particular condition in AC, or is it just a personal change of plans?). I am planning to go around that time (Though, I have a fair amount of flexibility), and will appreciate any and all information from the vets. It would be cool to have a vet show me the ropes (especially the hot places), in exchange for which I would gladly buy them a hell of a lot of beer or a few BF’s, but then again, I’ve rolled solo all over the world and will happily do so again to experience AC. So, I’ll be asking a few questions in the short term, as I’m trying to shorten my learning curve. I also promise to share information that I acquire on my trip. And, assuming I’ll enjoy my stay in AC (Sounds like money in the bank…), I may make the August trip that I see several on the forum are planning.

You guys make this sound almost too damn good, too damn easy. Are you sure that you aren’t all just tremendous guerrilla marketers working for the AC Board of Tourism??? LOL If you are, you all deserve raises! Hot girls for $20-$30 a night???!!!! That is f’n unbelievable! I can see putting up some Chamberlain-type numbers! I’m stoked like a kid on Christmas Eve; I can’t wait to go. Any one else going to AC around the end of May or beginning of June?

Thanks, and Peace,

LVL, MajGhost, there will a bunch of us there. I have my reservations from the 17-27 August. Think Prog is one of a few other mongerers that will be there also during this time. I am getting worried as the ration will be going down from 200:1 to about 150:1!!! All is well however and still have not had a bad time in the P.I. in the past 45 years. Guys
Laguna province where the hotsprings are is generally safe because with the the development pansol, calamba where they are located have become a suburb of metro manila.Devil dog IMHO isnt the sea in San fernando La union a little rough for diving, the area is better known for surfing then diving.Prog is better of in Puerto Galera, plus the flight of Seaair from Manila to Puerto Galera via Calapan is an option to the bus and ferry.Prog the same plane connects to Boracay .Guys the north expressway is under repair going from manila to pampanga, the normal 2 hour trip is now about 4 hours-5 hours since it is one lane in many parts, seaair s flight of manila- clark at 600 pesos is an option.just in case but of course if you have beers and companionship with you who it wont matter, regards

Hi Guys,

Looking better and better for me joining the August trip.

Prog - have you been to Boracay before (I know you've already decided to pass on it)? I've been there twice. 1986 it was paradise and 1995 it was paradise lost (due to noise, overbuilding and pollution). However, it was much easier to get laid there in 1995...

Rugby, LVL and Prog - I have posted the pics from the wet t contest at Kokomo'z on my MSN Photo account. Over 50 pictures. If LVL okay's it, I'll email an invite for any other board members to view the pics. It was a blast! We paid 4500P for several hours of body contact with dozens of women. AND all the food we could eat and drinks we could drink.

Total debauchery.
MSN Photo seems to be the best way to share photos. I took over 500 on my cam and will probably post another 100 or so on the site.

Magic Ghost - are you European or FRENCH? I would like to apologize to all my American friends for the Canadian gov'ts wimpy response to the Iraq situation. Not that we have a lot of military help to offer but we could have stood "shoulder to shoulder" with the US and given our support. Anyway Magic, French or not, these guys will treat you great in AC - hard to find a better bunch of guys. Hope to see you in Aug.

LVL - breakfast at 11:00 at the Orchid was one of my favorite times. Usually I'd just had my third go on my barfine shortly before that and was looking forward to the debriefing - plus planning the days activities.

Cebu, I agree with you on the La Union diving. I am not into that sport and from all the times i have been in La Union I have not seen any sport diving going on-- not that I was looking for it-- The shore line around the hotel however is pretty busy with the small fishing boats and the typhoon last year or the year before beat up the local stuctures pretty good. The last time I was in the Laguna hotsprings area, it was pretty quiet, very few bars, NONE for us white guys-- and it was natural for the electricity to shut off around 10-11pm. Plenty to oil lamps however. Stayed at a nice hotel w/swimming pool and had a large hotspring bubbling right in the middle of the hotel room. Needless to say it was a pretty humid night with no airconditioning etc. take care all. semper fi devildog

I woke Sheryl for morning romp. We then went to a buffet. Then I decided to have a shave and after we both go for pedicures. My Vegas buddy text me and we decided to meet at Welcome Inn. He gathered a few of his friends to introduce to me and we had a good bs session. We then all headed off for Cambodia.

In Cambodia I tried for the sisters again, but to no avail. My Vegas buddy introduced me to a light skinned cutie and she did have willing friend. I told them I might be back later this week. I had other plans for tonight. We spent a couple hours here and all the while I’m getting very good lap dances. So I took Sheryl up for another round.

We arrived at Geckos just after 6pm and my two girls from last night came down to talk. The cherry girl said she had an obligation at 10pm, so Jennifer recommended another girl. Beth is a tiny little thing with a rock hard round ass. She did look like a 14 year old though. I told Sheryl to go change clothes while I took these two up for a test drive.

In the room there were no disappointments. It was just how I laid it out to them and more. Jennifer is hotter than I first realized, a miniature Playboy model. I was in my happy place for a solid hour. We showered again and Sheryl joined us as we were leaving.

We went to Wet Seals. Jimmy had said there would be a gathering here from the AC2 board. Wasn’t a lot going on while we were there. I did have plans to go back later, but didn’t. I did get my ass kicked in a game of doubles with the girls. I swear Sheryl made a three bank shot for the eight ball. I forget Flamingo has a pool table too. I got bored here and decided to check a couple new bars that just opened. Neither had anything special, just two more bars in my book. My Vegas buddy met up with us at The Bunny Club and he said he wanted to see if dancer at the Blue Nile Executive Club was working.

The Blue Nile Executive Club had a lot more customers tonight. It was packed. My buddy bar-fined his girl and we went for a bite to eat. It was a little before midnight when I started burning out fast. The girls whined about wanting to go to Pick Up Bar, I told them no, time for bed.

Sheryl put on some drama in the room, so I gave her an ultimatum, get your naked ass in the bed or leave. While she was showering I popped off another with the two girls, too tired for the entire fantasy round this time but still awesome. It was a pleasant night sleep as I had the AC cranked all day and the ceiling fan on. In the early morning I tried to get it on with Sheryl. Well she got her’s but I had no juice in me for mine. I needed food.

Mongering, sfo;
There are sisters at Treasure Island that are pretty hot. They look like twins but it's just a lot of similar DNA. I would highly recommend that you take them up on the shower show. It's 250P each - best to find a couple of other guys to pitch in and get 4 girls going.
They put on a helofa show and it includes a body shot at the end - really just like buying two LD's.
Word of warning about barfining them. A friend of mine bf them before I arrived in AC and said he was disappointed. Not so hot in the bedroom. However YMMV.
The sisters are Abegail and Mayeth. The shower show really livens the place up. Almost as good as ringing the bell...

You may be wondering why no one has responded to your post. There's a bit of a problem on an active board when you begin posting as WSG holds your post for 24 hours. On an active board, this means that your query or comments will be well down the page by the time the regulars log on and read the recent posts. I found that out myself when I changed my screen name (I used the same screen name as I use in my "legit" activities and was surprised to find that it was showing up in a Google search).

No need to worry, it's not a huge conspiracy to lure you to AC. The place really does exist - just check out the websites for some of the bars. Even the Orchid Inn has a website with a stream video that shows some of the beauties to be had.

As far as meeting other mongers, I couldn't imagine what it would have been like: a. Going to AC without all the valuable info I gleamed from WSG and b. Being in AC without the company of great guys like LVL, Prog and Rugby. That said, I would have had a good time anyway but without anyone to bola bola to in the am, hang around with or share war stories.

I have about 50 pics from the Wet T contest at Kokomo'z taken the first Sat of this month (oh, how it seems so long ago now...). I have them on MSN Photo and I'll give you the link if you care to see LVL and I in action (with 60 or so semi-nude women).

Regarding the war, I never worry about that stuff - I'd even go to Kuwait right now if there was cheap airfare and pussy. That said, Americans are welcome in AC (even though I'm Canadian - they don't seem to understand the difference, much like most Americans...). The AC economy depends on tourism so the risk of something bad happening is especially low there. I was in Manila and the security in the city is incredible. Most of the real trouble, however, is in the southern region: Mindanao and Palawan. Places for the inexperienced traveller to avoid.

Hope to see you in August.

Hello,

I'm going to AC and would like to find out the prices for the girls.

I know it's 1000Peso barfine, but, how much more do I have to give them for spending the night?

Some of the reports are incredible.

Also, what's the best way to travel from Manila to AC.

Any quick info would help as I'm going on Monday, the 24th.

Thanks

The answer to your 1st question is zero. The bar fine is all tha tyou are expected to pay, although they will not tell you that, and if you ask them how much you should give to them, they will usually tell you that "it up to you", thus avoiding giving you any clue.

Thanks, fellas.

I understand mobile phones are a good investment. What has been the experience with calling from AC (AC mobile or Orchid Inn), as to whether or not caller ID works for these numbers at home in the States? Does caller ID in the States recognize the AC number, city or country? I have seen U.S. caller ID not work from other countries, but I haven't visited PI before. Any detailed mobile phone and caller ID information would be extremely helpful.

Day 4,
We all lounged around the room for most of the morning and ordered in for breakfast. My Vegas buddy dropped by my room with his barfine. We all chatted and he invited me to check out his room in Chicago Hotel so I could do some comparing. I was not impressed, especially comparing it to the Orchid. After he left I sent Sheryl to change and told my two Gecko girls I wanted the same as last night. Again, I patted myself on my back for my selection. The girls needed a to change so I was alone for the first time since landing. My Vegas buddy came back and I showed him the web sights related to the Phils. This was the first time he had seen these and I told him I would get him started out later so he could add some of his knowledge. He comes to Angeles for 3 months at a time.

Sheryl came back and we headed out for my buddy’s hotel. Just as we were approaching the hotel I spotted the girl from Shadows that I have big time drama with at the moment. (Rookie f*ck up, and yes I was forewarned). I made then do a 180 and tried to explain to my buddy, he finally dismissed it a rookie mistake and a lesson learned. On our way to Norma’s there was a big fire at the end of street, a large foreigner’s house apparently.

Later in the room while checking email I noticed Taxibob, aka Putanero, online so I let the girls chat with him. I called him and let him say hello so he was sure he I wasn’t messing with him. Funny as hell! I did a little coaching to the girls. I have the chat session saved.

I got an email from Goceltics stating he would be arriving via the late Northwest flight and to be ready for barhopping. I tried to get some sleep, but you know how that goes. During the early evening, Sheryl decided to join in on the fun with the Gecko girls and myself. This would prove to be the highlight of my trip. I won’t go into detail, but Sheryl enjoyed showing off her talents to the “rookies”. After this we went barhopping with my new buddies until 11pm, then I decided to get some sleep before Goceltics arrived.

At 1 am sharp, Goceltics called my room and after a shower we were off. We met up with RuffasT and hit our usual favorites on Fields. Since Goceltics showed me the ropes on my cherry trip last November, I shared with him the drama situation with the Shadows girls. He poked fun at me and said to take him there and he would barfine the problem. I tried to forewarn him, but he insisted. We hit Shadows around 3am and left Goceltics with his barfine. Ok, he was right and now it’s all better.

RuffasT and I went on a bar closing barhop until 6am or so when I get a text from Goceltics saying he is ready for round 2. So the only places open now are the Santos bars. We hit Heaven first and a malibog girl latched onto RuffasT and followed us along waking up the girls in the bars as we went. Goceltics ended up with the girl with RuffasT. He got a taste of major drama from this girl. We had a discussion of the recent drama from Santos street girls, as we both have heard similar reports from other mongers. I will follow up on this subject on a later post.

I finally get to bed around 8:30 am.

Day 5,
I just did a reread of my reports, lots of stuff missing, but nothing noteworthy. I just wanted to add that during this trip I still didn’t experience The Pick Up Bar with out a barfine yet. I actually ended up there with 5 barfines again at one point. Note to self, next trip have Sheryl take notes for me. (I will discuss my relationship with Sheryl in a separate post, it’s not what you think)

Goceltics called my room at 1pm, so I showered and we went to get him his cherry shave. I forgot where MM had taken me last trip, but I found a good place on the corner of Fields and McArthur. He was addicted instantly. We then went to lunch followed by barhopping.

My Vegas buddy and the cool local dude hooked up with us at Cambodia. I have given up on the sisters. I intended on taking my Vegas buddy’s recommended girl and her friend for some fun, but the friend got cold feet. So I just did a solo. Outstanding! I bought my buddy a few beers for this.

I met back up with the guys in Mysties(?) and had some hot lap dances. I wasn’t interested in spending any more time with my buddy’s recommended girl so I told her she could leave, but my buddy wanted to talk to her first. She ended up with him for a part of the barhop then cut loose. We ended up barhopping hardcore for a while. I recommended to Goceltics Sheryl’s cousin Jane. He had met her before so we took him to Flamingo where he barfined her.

I caught back up with the rest of the guys and after hitting a couple more bars Goceltics and Jane join the group. The night ends up fuzzy to me at this point, I had too much to drink and I was exhausted. I was working on a double barfine from what might have been the best looking girls of my trip, but the mommy was getting on my nerves about buying damn lady drinks. I had spent close to 1,000 pesos already. Goceltics pointed out my bad mood, so I made it an early night and went to bed around 11pm, just Sheryl and I.

Day 6,
We woke around 8:30, my only full night sleep this week, and I text the guys for breakfast at the Ville. My Vegas buddy was the only one free, but he had plans following. It was too early for barhopping, and I was feeling drained anyway. I decided to rent a car and driver to check out the base and the big mall in San Fernando. I’m not much of a shopper, but I spot this massage place on the first floor. I’m spacing the name now, but it boasts Thai massage. I ended up with a two hour two girl Swedish massage. I would compare the quality to Azteca in TJ, excellent. This place is legit, but having some residual vitamin V in my system I got a little excited at few times. The girls spoke very little English, but giggled every time it went up. I sense potential from this place.

We all meet at the Thai restaurant later and another monger is introduced to me. This guy is another American local. I do get the feeling from him that he might be burning out on Angeles when the discussion of the August Thailand trip came up. Besides the guys that have posted so far, add at least three more to the list as of now.

After a good meal we go to Champagne. That’s were I spotted another miniature Playmate. Her attitude at first was not the greatest. I get her to call her best friend over and I’m getting nowhere. So Sheryl steps in, has a word with the girls, and now I’m golden. I take them to the room for a couple hours of fun. I have to admit to getting better and better at my selections. All my barfines this entire trip were top notch.

We continue our barhopping, having a great time with out digital cameras. We end up at Blue Nile Executive Club when one of my Champagne barfines starts dirty dancing with on of the dancers. Wow was she hot. I told my barfine to tell her the drill and if she is interested to change her clothes. She did enthusiastically. We then all moved on to Camelot. I should have posted much more on this bar as well as Geckos. The other night, Sheryl snapped off a couple pics of Daddy John in Camelot doing a blowjob drink. Boy was he surprised at this. As punishment he bought my Vegas buddy and myself blowjob drinks as well. And guess who still had my camera.

So at Camelot, two of my barfines end up hugging and talking to a pretty waitress. She was a little on the thick side for my taste, but her overall beauty was too much to pass up. I barfine her at 11:30 pm, knowing I had to pack still and be in the cab by 2am. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my last precious hours in Angeles, five top tier, imho, girls then to the airport with Sheryl.

I shared the ride to the airport with RuffasT. I told him I wouldn’t say anything about his crying while we drove off, so I won’t. Of course I fought off the tears myself the best I could, especially saying goodbye to Sheryl. She was so good to me that I plan a post later just for her.

Lrs69,

While Jackson is correct, I usually give 500 piso tip for good service. ie nice bj, fun in and out of bed...etc... and zip, zero, nada...for "starfish". That's for "long time". A couple "lady's drinks" and a couple hundred p for short time is more than fair.

The best way to AC depends on the time of day that you arrive in MNL. The fastest and simplest is to grab a taxi right at the airport (there are a number of transportation boothes after customs but before exiting the terminal). This usuually runs around 1500 p. To do it on the cheap, taxi to a bus terminal that will take you to AC or Dau (better), then "trike" to your hotel in AC. About 350 p for taxi/bus/trike. The Dau bus terminal is actually closer to "our" part of town than the AC terminal.

(Ooops. I forgot. The above was true when only the Mac. Hwy bridge was open. Now with the Hensonville bridge open, it may be a push as to which is closer).

I usually overnight in MNL (Ermita) then catch the Swagman Hotels (Ermita) "Fly the Bus" which makes 3 trips daily. They will drop you at any hotel. They have drinks on board and sometimes sandwiches and snacks. They also make one short "pit stop" enroute. I forgot the price, but around 300-400 p. Taxi to Ermita from the airport is a couple hundred at the boothes and dependant upon bargaining skills if you go outside and hail one. (Not worth it in my book)

Most of this has been discussed here before. Try a subject specific search of the archives.

Also, check out Cebu Locals post of 3-19. Seaair might be an option if you hate traffic.

Good luck.

Hey Cebu,

I would tend to agree. It all depends on what time you get into MNL. Waiting around for the Seaair flight might be longer than sitting in traffic. Of course, waiting around the complex in Pasay is a lot more fun than the back of a bus. Now...a private van with some company.... :)

What's up with the expressway ? Are they making improvements ? That rail line they've talked about for years ? Sure...

Hi FD;

As of a couple of weeks ago, the Expressway was still under a significant amount of construction. Traffic from the Northbound lanes had all been diverted to the Southbound. This makes it a lot of fun going Southbound since your driver may decide that the shoulder is a new lane. I can't tell you how exciting it was to pass large trucks and buses at 120 km/hr on the right shoulder when the slightest hiccup would create havoc, bloodshed and death.

The Northbound lane was in the process of being leveled and graded in preparation for repaving. From appearances, I wouldn't expect this work to be finished anytime soon - they will probably go to work on the Southbound Expressway once the other side is finished.

I think I'll start using this route any time I arrive in MNL in time to catch the Seair.

You won't have any problem recognizing any of us. We have a few pics floating around. If you're staying at the Orchid, the staff will happily point us out. Sometimes the waitresses give some of us nicknames. I won't say who was known as "Bakla" and who was "Mr. Bastos".

Best bet - get yourself a cell phone when you arrive. I could have saved myself all kinds of hassle had I done so right away. Won't make that mistake again. Great for organizing the bar hopping or catching up mid-hop.

August is still a few months away so don't sweat it yet.

just arrived in Angeles on Saturday afternoon. The construction wasn't that bad, only slowed us down for maybe a half hour. They had shut down all southbound traffic and had 3 lanes open going north (including shoulder, which is apparently ok to use). there was only a few hundred feet of backup going southbound.

I bought a cell phone at Saver Mall (end of fields ave, make a right on McAurthur and it's a few hundred meters) for about 1900 pesos (40 bucks). definately worth the investment. they rent cell phones in a few places, but if your here for a week or more, it's cheaper to jsut buy one.

Sounds like a good deal on the cell phone. What is the make and model? How's it working? Rather than rent, if you don't want to keep it, you can usually sell it back to the store you bought it from. Much cheaper than renting. Did you get Smart service? I might trade up for a better model on my next trip.

Speaking of trip...do you have a trip report for us?

Since LasVegasLites hasn't been checking in recently I'll say that he's the one the waitresses were calling bakla. He had come back from a message one day and his hair was messed up. He bought a ball cap to cover up his hair. He wore it backwards when he returned to the hotel. It was the combination of his short shorts, tight shirt, his hat turned backwards, and the earring in his ear that got him labeled. It was really funny because he did not know what bakla meant at first. :)

I'll send you an email with my upcoming trips itinerary.

Okay Prog - I'll tell my cherry story

This was in Feb.
On my arrival in AC, as a cherry-boy, it turned out I was the star of the show for a day. Got to meet Prog and LVL for the first time and we started barhopping immediately. My earlier story recounts a very public bj at the Pick Up Bar about 3 hours after my arrival followed by my first AC experience.
This girl, Jennifer, turned out to be on her period. Pretty messy but I didn't care. I'm not sure when it started as I did dine at the Y and discovered the taste of Crest toothpaste. Seems she'd anticipated my first licks....
Anyway, I had about an hours sleep that night so I was running on pure adrenaline (1 hour sleep in 3 days). Actually, I really couldn't sleep more than an hour. I was too hyped and couldn't wait to swap tales with Prog and LVL over breakfast at the Orchid.
We 3 soon went barhopping again and my two new buddies were showing me the ropes. I was still slow in the bf department and felt a little like a 3rd wheel as the evening progressed since Prog and LVL and one other guy all had their bf's already. Prog's bf thoughtfully picked out a girl for me. She seemed shy but seemed to like me so I was getting interested - she was VERY cute and 20 years old.
When I told LVL I found my bf he said "first you have to ask some questions" and then said to her "are you menstruating?" A. No. "Are you cherry girl?" A. No. Sorry I forget the 3rd question. LVL?
...Later that evening....
Another bloody sheet. Must be menstruation season.
Since Jennifer had already opened up the box of pads I decided to be a gentleman and offer her the rest of the box. She says no thanks. I figured she was being polite so I tried insisting she take them as I had no use for an open box of pads (or closed either - Orchid thinks of everything).
In the morning, we go through the debriefing at breakfast. Prog and LVL are wondering how I did. We did three rounds but the experience was overall, average since my bf didn't seem to know much about sex. When she leaves she gives me her email address and cell #.
Here's where I show how stupid we Canucks can be.
Weeks later, I'm starting to recount my fuzzy first few days in AC. Hmm. Bloody sheets, no period. Could this girl have been cherry? Foggy memory clears slightly. Curiousity grows.
I send her an email. Get her Yahoo name. Start chatting...
t(11:39:08 AM): so were you a cherry girl when we met?
t(11:39:23 AM): because there was some blood
g(11:40:05 AM): you cant forget my blood
t(11:40:42 AM): I'm very curious
g(11:41:09 AM): y u curious
t(11:41:30 AM): Because you weren't on your period but there was blood
g(11:41:37 AM): we meet last feb
t(11:41:56 AM): Yes
g11:42:00 AM): end of Feb
t(11:42:09 AM): yes
t (11:42:24 AM): Are you going to tell me?
g (11:42:34 AM): you lost my cherry
w (11:43:08 AM): I thought so but I didn't figure it out until a week later. Sorry I was so stupid
g (11:44:06 AM): its okey cos i like you so much

I told Prog that I wish I had know she was cherry since I would have handled it differently. He thought it was pretty funny.

Now that I know the story, I would like to give her some more lessons...

Sorry for disappearing on all of you who were in AC recently. I spent trip in Makati and Boracay with my HK. Yes, I succumbed to her charms. She is a real sweetheart. Very straight forward with very little bola. I think a few of you know who I am talking about.

I rented a house in Manila, fairly decent area. I Talked to a lot of people and decided that living in AC would NOT be a good idea. I am back in VN now. It is a pain to use this board from there as I have to use PC anywhere to my house in the states then to here.

I had a great time in Boracay, got sunburned like a lobster. It does have one benefit though. Someone had to rub lotion on me :) I will be in VN for two more months I think. After that, I plan on spending a few months in Manila. I got my license there to drive - I had to give a blood test! The process was a pain in the ass. I bought a small car for about 4k. That was a pain in the ass too. Getting utilities was also a pain. In fact, everything that you need to do here with the Gov is a pain. But I love it there anyways:) Except driving - it is insane!

I have a nice arrangement with HK. I am not supporting her, well I buy her 10packs of Buddy cards, and she is tolerant of my hobby just as long as I dont take them on trips or keep them more than 1 night. Fair enough. Chikka.com is a real savior for me - works great and is cheap. Works for Smart and Globe. I have saved some of the more memorable txt exchanges we have had on my computer. Some are truly classic. The way they think! I will post a couple of the best ones.

I finally went to some bars in Manila. Didn't do that last trip. The girls are a step above AC IMHO, but a lot of them have major attitudes. She and I picked up a girl in Makati - actually HK picked her up. She was a bit whiter than my tastes put WE had a lot of fun :)

Stayed at Shangrila in Makati. Nice place. I gave HK the time of her life there. I bought her a nice dress and some heels and a bit of jewelry. She really looked great. Went to eat at a formal place. It was funny, a lot of the people were staring at her (dark skin - everyone else in restaurant white) I thought she would get pissed, but she loved that. She was a lot of fun that night, great dinner even better night.

I honestly think, that I will never have to pay a BF here. I am treated like a rock star. They must think I am rich, boy do I have a surprise for them :)

So any of you who I've talked with will be welcome to stay if you want to spend some time in Manila. You can email me if you are interested. I will post when I leave VN as soon as I know. Prog has my new email if anyone wants it. The old one just stopped receiving mail. No errors, no mail. Strange problem.

Sounds like everyone had a great time in AC - Wish that I was there to meet all of you. In the future will be quite easy to go there now :)

Not much of a trip report, I know, but I really did have the time of my life.

Also, that's where I got bf by a rich Filipina. I'd like to see if anyone else can get lucky like that.

Hi Guys;

I just received an email from the 2rd runner up (third place) at the March Wet-t Contest. She was very excited, as part of the prize package, to have won a 1000P gift certificate redeemable at Kokomo'z. In fact, on my last night, she took a quick run over to Kokomo'z to see what she could get. I think she decided on a hair cut/style package offered by them.
However, she left the next day to return to her province and, of course, somehow lost the certificate (I say "of course" due to my 17 year history with Filipina's). I'd like to contact Kokomo'z management and request that they honour her prize without the certificate. Alternatively, I'd like to just pay for it myself. Anyone know who I should speak to at Kokomo'z? email?

Once again, anyone who wants to see the MSN Photo slide show of the March Wet-T event is welcome to email me for the link.

First I want to thank Dave Fischer and his staff at Kokomoz for making this announcement possible.

We will be holding a raffle during our AC2 West Coast Bash. Tickets will be $1 each. The following prizes will be raffled off:

Two (2) free Barfines at any of the Kokomoz bars (Voodoo, Treasure Island, and Lollipops).

Two (2) $10 gift certificates redeemable at Kokomoz.

ALL proceeds of the raffle will benefit the Rotary Club Children's Center in Angeles City. Again, my thanks to the Kokomoz group for taking care of distributing the money.

This bash will be serving two purposes:
(1). It will give us the opportunity to meet other board members.
(2). Benefit the children of Angeles City.

There are still a few more loose ends to tie up but I am hoping (but I cannot guarantee) to be able to show a few AC videos at the bash. As most of you know - what is considered acceptable in Angeles City may not be okay in the USA. There is a meeting with the Trophy Lounge manager on Thursday to finalize all details of this event.

To my East Coast Crew friends - If you're in town come on by. :)

Some friends from other boards will be attending and will be bringing pictures as well. I should have a few CDs of wet t-shirt contests and various bars from AC.

There is a slight dress code. No shorts, sandals, or hats are allowed. Other than that hope people can make it by. The time and location/directions are posted below. When you enter tell the bouncers you're with the "West Coast Crew" the cover charge will then be waived.

The first-ever West Coast Bash was a lot of fun. We had guys from three separate message boards attend. I had va few no-shows but I expected that to happen. I have not been able to get the pics uploaded to the board. Once I do I'll post them in the Pic Section.

The roll-call consisted of (my apologizes if I left anyone out):

AC2 Message Board-
Progman (same at WSG and CH)
Mafiaphats
Maddog10
HDRider
StarchedUndies
Worm

World Sex Guide (WSG)-
Firedick
Hooky

Clubh0mbre (CH)-
Blazers

Non-board members (heard about event over the internet)-
Gary
2 others (names unknown)

Non-board members (happened to be in the club at the time)-
Jamie and another person (name unknown)

The party began around 9:30pm. The club was not very full at the time. I had arrived a few minutes before that to set up my laptop. I had put together a collection of AC pics from the last two years. Some were borderline XXX but the bulk were rated PG-13. Maddog10 arrived with the banner and we set it up in front of an elevated stage, close to the DJ booth.

By 10:00pm everyone had arrived that were going to show up. The club was also a little bit busier with many Filipinas pouring in by the minute. I had a video of several bars and the March 2003 Kokomoz wet t-shirt contest running on the laptop. Several of the security people and waitresses would stop by to watch a little. The waitresses, in particular, got a kick out of it - AC flashbacks maybe? Mafiaphats was on the prowl and was collecting phone numbers from girls. He would stop by occasionally and show me his collection.

11:00pm and the club was bursting at the seams with Filipinas. I would imagine there were at least 90 girls dancing, chatting, and flirting with guys all over the club. The ratio was definitely in our favor. We had several drop by and ask about the raffle. The ones that understood what the prizes were seemed to get a kick out of it. I tried to explain to one Filipina what a barfine was. After it "clicked" she rolled on the ground laughing. Firedick, from WSG board, had made some t-shirts with the West Coast Banner logo on them. He sold a few to cover his cost and we added the rest to the raffle prizes. We enlisted the help of a waitress to select and call out the winning prizes. The big winner that night was Maddog10. The bastard managed to win both EWRs. Of course he also bought about $50 in tickets so the odds were in his favor. No one minded since the money was going to a good cause. Maddog10 had designated certain tickets for Jimmy, Vince and other board members so I'm not sure if these certificates will go to them.

At around 12:00pm we departed Trophy Lounge and headed south to Tijuana. The group consisted of 8 people - most from AC2. Just before crossing into Mexico we had a Border Patrol agent take our picture. Once across we piled into 2 cabs and headed to Chicago Club in Tijuana's famous La Zona Norte section of town. The place was packed. We hovered around for a few minutes (enough time to pound down a beer and a shot of tequila) then headed over to Hong Kong Club. On the way to the club I saw and introduced StarchedUndies to a lady friend that worked the alley that was known for giving the best BBBJ in Tijuana. He went up to the hotel with her and, 25 minutes later, returned with a mile-long grin on his face.

By 1:00am the party was in full swing at Hong Kong Bar. The beers and Tequilas were flowing and everyone was well one their way to a huge hang-over the following day. Various guys would disappear from time to time and return with smiles on their faces. The last count I got was that 3 girls were sampled here. At around 2:00am some guys started dropping out - either heading back to their hotels or back to the border.

At around 2:30am the remaining crew staggered out to the alley and sampled several girls. For awhile we lost all contact with Maddog10. He went up to a hotel with one girl but did not return. I found out later that another girl grabbed him on his way back to our group and dragged him over to her hotel. I left the party around 4:00am and headed to my hotel. One of my regular chicks was waiting for me outside so I took her back to the room for awhile. I finally got to sleep around 5:00am.

At 8:30am I got a knock at the door - it was time to go home. As of this post I still have a hangover.

Overall I'd call this bash a success. We had a chance to meet members from this board, as well as, other message boards. There wasn't one guy in the whole group that I have a negative thing to say. We all got along great and had one hell of a time. For the next get-together I will pick another bar. Trophy Lounge was fun but there were just a few too many "rules". We had one girl complain about the video on my laptop so security asked me to shut it off. She definitely looked like she was a former bargirl. She probably didn't want to re-live those experiences again. The raffle generated $155. Maddog10 and I added another $45 to bring the total to an even $200. I wired the money to Kokomoz yesterday.

Trihunter,

None of the people I talked to mentioned hearing about it specifically from Jade Cool. Of the three non-board members that heard about it over the Internet one was a friend of an AC2 member and the other two saw my post on AC2. I learned a long time ago that when someone commits to something but are anonymous (a fake name behind a keyboard) chances are they will not follow through with it. I personally met all but 2 of the board members that appeared before the event started. I was a little disappointed that 4 other members, that I knew, and said they would show, didn't. It didn't stop the rest of us from having a good time, however. And, of course, the big success is all the money we raised for the Rotary Club.

LasVegasLites chatted with me just before he left. It sounds like he has a game plan in place. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. :)

so, jumpstart,

when are you going down there?

like i said, you can get all the info you need here, but mainly you just need to show up down there. the rest is easy but you must not be shy about things.

the orchid is very centrally located and you will easily be able to meet up with people who will be happy to show you around if you are so inclined.

nice meeting you the other nite.

I received a question via email from LK. Since this forum has been relatively dead lately, I thought I'd post the question and reply.

His question:

Got another question for you. My impression is
that AC is a casual place. Are there any high-end clubs or restaurants for which I should pack a suit? I generally prefer to be overdressed than underdressed, but I'm guessing this isn't an issue in AC.
I owe you big time for all the info you're providing the rook. If we cross paths in AC, you can expect some free drinks and a barfine on me.
LK

Here's my answer
I can't imagine a circumstance where you'd need a suit. I brought two since I was doing some business in Manila but never needed them in AC.
Generally, during the day, shorts were in order. Most guys walking around had shorts and t-shirts. If you want to look spiffy, you can go for a good golf or polo shirt. In the evenings, long pants were worn. A nice shirt to go along with that in the evening is fine but would look overdressed in the afternoon.
Here is a typical schedule:
Go to bed 3 or 4 am
Get laid
Wake up at 10
Get laid
Go to breakfast at the Orchid restaurant with barfine. Meet with other guests - trade stories from previous evening.
11 to 1 or 2 pm. Run errands, access Internet, swim/relax around pool. Send barfine home at any time. Unless staying for another full day, they like to leave by 2ish.
2 pm to 5 or 6. Barhop, Santos Street, Barhop
6 or 7 Dinner at Marguaritaville (also good place to have an afternoon drink and watch the girls stroll by)
7 - 8 Back to hotel to freshen up
8 pm + Barhop

Glad to help. Hope to read your trip report and take you up on your offer sometime.

Man, this section has been dead lately. Thanks Trihunter for posting something. I know LasVegasLites just returned from a week in AC. I'll send him an email to see if we can get some sort of report from him. Tempest should be feet dry right now. I'll fire off an appeal to him as well. I know we all need our "fix". :)

There are a few things going on in AC so I’ll pass them along:

Pickup Bar and Disco was sold. The Champagne Group has purchased the club. What they plan to do with it is up in the air but I’m sure they will not continue to allow freelancer actions. At the same time as they bought this bar they announced that they will be closing Volcano Bar permanently. They will hold on to the Restaurant Verona and the two apartments units above the bar. The Volcano girls will be moving over to Camelot.

Cleopatra’s Bar will be reopening by the same owner as before. I don’t have a whole lot information than this.

Trihunter,

In regards to Margarita Station - it's a great place to pick up freelancers as well. I picked up a girl (more like she followed me back to the hotel) and fucked her for 100 pesos. I'd like to also add that no trip to AC is complete without a trip or two to Perimeter Road. It's a 50p trike ride. Start at Thi-Hi then move from bar to bar back towards Margarita Station. There are lots of jeeps heading this way so it'll only cost 4 pesos.

Yeah, it's been dead. But that's just cuz we've all been cooling our heels. Since I (we) don't have anything new to report, why clutter up the place. Sometimes these boards fill up with guys just "yaking", not posting useful info. We need to watch it.

Cleopatra's opening again !? What...for the 7th or 8th time ? Maybe they'll get it right. Last time I was in there the girls were standing on stage talking to each other, paying no attention to the customers. Had it been my bar, Mama san would have been fired on the spot ! Any of you guys go back far enough to remember when they had water filled moats in the floor ? No shit. Nothing to keep the average drunk from stepping right in. It was a great bar back in the early 90's.

Anyone want the video of the wet T-shirt contests I won at the "West Coast Crew" gathering ? Once through is enough.

D. Don,

I think the boys are still planning on late August. I'm out though due to a dive trip. Have a few for me. I might make it before August.

"Last time I was in there the girls were standing on stage talking to each other, paying no attention to the customers.'

That is one of very few things that Angeles and Pattaya have in common:(...
It just goes to show that, like TalkingHeads sang 25 years ago:
'The girls want to be with the girls'!
And most of them will be quite happy if at the end of the day someone takes them to a nice room and pays them a little attention and some money too.

Yes Prog, I had the pleasure of meeting the King of Mongerdom.

Although BA is as big as Metro Manila, most of the action is in the trendy Recoleta area. Most of the guys stay there and Jackson has an apartment in Recoleta also. There were several mongers there that week (April 26--May4) and the festivities were well documented on the BA board.

Freeler,

I have observed this kind of behavior everywhere, to some degree. But this time in Cleopatra's was absolutely laughable !

They used to have an (Austrian ?) guy managing the place that kept it fun. He moved up to Mirrors (in Clarkton), but I haven't seen him in a while. Mirrors can be fun, if they have the right crop of girls. Usually, too many "cherries". If your staying at Clarkton, you can put your drinks and barfine on your hotel bill. I think this is true at Orchid as well.

To help keep the girls "focused" in the room, I do a little TV mod as soon as I check in. I removed all the local channels from the menu on the remote. Most of the girls don't know how to overcome this. So, if they're gonna stay glued to the TV, at least it's something that I will watch.

What days are you going to be there? There's a Kokomoz Wet T-shirt contest this Saturday (May 24). The next Kokomoz contest is July 5th. I'm not sure about the Swagman contests. I don't know your dates so I couldn't tell you who's going to be in town. Get to know the papasans in the bars. The one's in the smaller bars are more friendly and can spend more one-on-one time with you. Remember when you're in AC it's not just the girls that bola-bola. Also, don't get too friendly with the trike drivers and DON'T get in a trike offering to let you meet girls or a private party. Do as much homework as you can before hitting the town.

A word of caution. Don't post your cell number on an open board.

On the TV-thing:
When a girl walks into my room, she will look around for a TV, then look at me, and say: 'No TV?!'
Yep, no TV if it's up to me!

And, Firedick, Progman is a man of experience:D!

When I was in Angeles it took just 10 mins to land me a win-win-situation cardgame offer and a private party of some sort.
Well, I did have a private party that night, thanks, and it didn't involve anything but the girl, a little money and me.

Progman,

Would that be the honeyko with the curly hair, the luscious lips and the gorgeous smile? Nudes this time please!

No TV at all ? I'm not sure I could live with that ! :) I like to watch sports and the occassional world news report. Can't monger 24 hours a day, despite trying.

The "win - win" cardgame has got to be the oldest ploy in the Philippines. Probably perfected against the Spanish hundreds of years ago (shortly after the invention of playing cards !).

To those of you new to what Freeler and I are referring to, it goes like this: You'll be approached by the good natured, disarming Pinoy with a golden opportunity for you. They are about to "take down" another sucker, but they need a fourth for the game or some extra cash that they assure you is safe. But you are the sucker. Unbelieveably, this still works from time to time.

Freeler, glad to hear that you had the right kind of dealings !

You're right about Progman. He doesn't have your experience and not quite mine either, but he's learned the game well. But, unfortunately, I haven't hooked up with him in Asia yet. We've done TJ (where he has 20 fold my experience) twice.

Lastly, for those of you posting from here in the USA as I, a company that ships boxes for me to the R.P. has just started a travel service. They have treated me very well. Check out this site. They have a great airfare/hotel (JAL and a choice of hotels) combo on an ad banner.

Wow, this board got active again. I stopped checking regularly because I'm travelling and because there wasn't much happening.

Comments for reading posts:

Cellphones - if you love txt then give out your number. But if you can't reply to 50 messages in 3 hours, better use some discretion.
Also, I had one girl I was quite fond of in my room. She picked up my phone and went through all my saved numbers. In 1 minute she had the name of every girl I'd been with for the past 10 days. Didn't cause a problem but I imagine it could for some people.

100 Peso Girl - yes Prog, I was actually with you when that happened. A cutie too

TV - Funny, during my stay, not one girl watched TV. Must have been enthralled with my tap dancing. Good tips though. LVL was with a girl that loved CNN. Definitely a keeper.

Kitten Club - let me know if that Wet n Wild event happens. KC had an event while I was there - suppose to start at 6 pm. We show up and they're still getting read, said it was a mistake and should have read 9 pm. We come back at 9 (due to free drink tickets won at SOB) and still nothing going on. Quite disorganized and disappointing. Fortunately I was there with LVL, Prog, and Rugby. We always seemed to take the party where we went so we had fun anyway.

Posting Pics - I don't always want my pics for public viewing. MSN Photo used to be good but now they want a subscription fee. Anyone know of a good alternative?

Real Estate - it's in the Philippine constitution that foreigners can't own land. Lots of stupid regulation about foreign investment too. Keeps the economy from growing as much as it should. I don't know the alternatives but perhaps there are 100 year lease programs (that's what we do with Indian land in Canada).

I would not buy any property, but rent instead. If you have to go elsewhere, other expats will be moving out too, leaving your property for the first passer-by...
I would sort my visa out and keep it valid, no matter what.

Don't get involved in any kind of business. If you want to be busy,
w:(rk at home, where the money is better and where you know the rules, taxes etc.

But hey, this is from someone who will w:(rk until he's 63 or so and you are NOT stupid!
But I've seen people who did live by rules like these and they are doing fine. The ones that bought property, started a business and messed up their visas, mostly didn't.

i set up a business, bought property and my visa is in order and i am doing fine, but i have been here for a while, secondly explain exactly how working or setting up a business messes up your visa, under the philippine retirement authority special retirees visa, you put up a deposit in the bank, then you get a special visa that basically allows you to live in the philippine and do limited work and business.maybe you were thinking of overstaying on a tourist visa, not a good idea ,i currently have 4 retiree customers here,2 germans,1 american and a dane all in cebu,so i could answer any philippine visa questions regards

Cebu Local,

apartfromthefactthatthismakesfordifficultreading...

You and Juicyspike over in BKK are doing well, no doubt.
Too many are not.
Setting up a business that starts going bad is a reason for many to forget about their visa and then the real trouble starts. Of course visa requirements are different for each country, but an expired visa is unvalid anywhere.
I'm sure Firedick is smart enough to get all the information he needs and won't blunder into anything.
Some people burn their bridges on purpose and leave to lands unknown to start something.
Others retire, leave for lands unknown to do nothing, have a good time but end up running a no good business.
Why retire, have a good steady income, and start a business far away from home?
Why don't I retire, sell the house and leave? I like my job, my income and my L:):):):)NG holidays too much to quit.
I can pretty much understand Firedick's ruling out of AC; it is after all a pretty one-dimensional place to be:)!

Have you spent much time at Subic?
I was there in 1995 and was impressed with a few things:
- good infrastructure: water, power, etc. left behind by the US military
- good securiny. Huge area of the ex-military base was still behind fences
- beautiful location. Nice bay, nature preserve
- Housing. I took a tour through some of the neighbourhoods. The housing reminded me of Phoenix and Southern California.
- Economic zone. The Philippine gov't is putting extra effort into stimulating the economy there
- Reasonable proximity to AC, Manila, Airport
I haven't been there since '95 but after my visit, I seriously considered the move

Howdy guys,

I just returned from a road trip (L.A., Portland Ore., Santa Cruz, L.A.) I'm beat. But it involved no "puntang" so I won't bore you.

Freeler and Cebu Local,

Thank you both for your input. Thankfully, I will have a decent pension and will not "have to" work, but plan to, in order to not go mad with boredom.

Cebu Local,

I think Prog was heading right down to P.G.

On the special visa, I think that if you can prove a regular income, ie retirement check, the gov will wave the deposit.

Freeler,

I'm not too concerned about the island nation status of the Philippines. Just because we (America) have had such a "cozy" relationship for so long. But I understand your point completely. I also agree that, in most cases, renting makes far more sense than buying. Manila may be an exception. When I lived there I paid over $1000 US a month for a one bedroom (on P. Burgous in Makati). At that rate, a purchase might make more sense. No matter what I do or where I decide, I'm likely to rent for a while to see if I like the "feel" of the place. Like BKK or Phuket. I've loved visiting, but would I like to live there ?... Maybe.

AC "one dimensional" ? Yeah... but it's a great demension ! (not a typo, but as in dementia, just so you guys don't think I'm dumb !) I will always go back to party !

I will always be careful with my visa. I hear guys bitching about having to leave the country to renew. Jeez guys ! Get off your bar stools and take a road trip ! I hear Penang used to be fun for this, but not so anymore. So maybe I'll have to divide my time between The R.P. and the L.O.S. That doesn't hurt too much. :)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't had much to contribute, I just haven't gone anyplace in so damn long that American girls are starting to look good. Do not fear for me, they still blow it when they open their mouths.

Trihunter,

Subic is still one of the places that I'm considering. I would much prefer being next to the water. You're right about the infrastructure. Plus: not much litter, traffic laws paid attention to...just less "third world". You might even like San Antonio (if you don't mind being away from so many expats and the bar scene) about a half hour drive north of Subic. Out of the bay, so nicer beaches, but close enough to Subic for shopping and the occassional "release of steam".

A word about what we left behind. We gotta give credit to the local authorities in the Subic/Olonguapo (old spelling) for the state of affairs. We left the same and more behind in AC. But it was looted in short order. Hat's off to Dick Gordon on this one, no matter how you feel about him politically now.

That's it...I hit the wall, time to hit the sack.

Sad to see you are paying $1000/mo in MetroManila for a 1 bedroom apartment. If you are planning to stay long-term in the PI, I would still recommend renting vs buying. There is this nice hotel in Cubao, Quezon City (Metro Manila) that will rent you for US$460/560/660 monthly for 1/2/3 bedrooms. Check out their website at www.fernandina88.com.ph

Also you can try the Mansion Group of Apartment-Hotels in Manila & Makati. Their monthly rates are around US$550-600 for a studio or 1-bedroom. www.asiatravel.com

I returned from my first trip to Angeles about two weeks ago. Sorry for the delayed report, but was unable to log onto the forum the one time I tried while in AC, and had a business trip upon my return which kept me busy.

Damn, AC is off the hook! A lot of you AC vets may not garner tremendous knowledge from this, but here’s my rookie report…

My plane touched down in Manila a bit before midnight, an hour late, so not knowing just how good Orchid’s service would prove to be, I wondered if the driver would be waiting for me. Jun, one of the like-named drivers for the Orchid (My return driver was another Jun, who informed me that there were actually three drivers by that name.), found me within seconds of my finding the designated area. When the friendly driver became aware that I wanted to get to the bars that night he hauled ass, and I appreciated it. (This is an excellent means of transportation from the airport.)

First night:

Threw my bags down, and thinking time was of the essence, hit the onsite Flamingo at 2:00 a.m. There was one gentleman behind the pool table, myself, and about 15 girls, who started squealing about two steps into the place. I bought a few drinks and assorted nuts, and for the first time became very pleasantly acquainted with these girls’ affinity for giving massages. For an hour, I had a 4-5 girl massage with an 8 or 9-girl rotation, which was just what the doctor ordered after the long trip. Already, I knew I would like this place. These ladies treated me so well. The Flamingo ultimately became the first and last bar I hit in AC, with unfortunately, no stops there in between. I’ll definitely get back there soon, though. The joint closed at 3:00, and I left with the two best-looking girls for an outstanding several hours in my room.

Day 1:

I ushered the girls out around 10 a.m., and bolted to the infamous Santos St. A few strides into the walk I found a cutie for a quick pop, and then stolled to another bar where I had a few San Miguels and tapped two girls back to back.

That evening I had to change money, and there’s a cambio just across the street from the Orchid. Of course, while at the money window, I was eagerly invited into the bar, Black Jack, and thought I’d have a drink there to start the night. The karaoke bar, however, was my first and only stop that night as I became very familiar with about 10 girls and mommy, got oiled on cold SM’s and multiple-girl massages there, and left with a gorgeous girl and her cute friend for great night of fun at the Orchid.

Day 2:

The cute girl left midmorning, the gorgeous girl hung around into the afternoon, when I prodded her out. I was yet quite happily unaware of last night’s logistical error. The bar is directly across the street from the front entrance of the Orchid. Because I ended up seeing one of the girls there several times, I ultimately couldn’t walk into the front entrance of the hotel with other girls without getting called out by the door girls there. I ended up only using the hotel’s back entrance. I will probably only stay in the back wing of the hotel from now, as you don’t have to parade girls through the front of the hotel all the time. I probably won’t stop by Black Jack on my next trip, as it’s just too close to Orchid. But, as ignorance is bliss, and I rolled to Santos for a few hours, a few beers, in bar massages, and a couple of girls.

That evening I hit Camelot. The manager was a cool guy from Boston, and we drank about an hour before I took a hot girl upstairs. The rooms there were new, very nice for Angeles, and perfect for the couple of hours I had before I was to meet some girls I had met online prior to my trip. Because I liked the girl from the night before, I stopped by Black Jack for a beer, paid her fine, and told her I’d pick her up there later. I left there and met the group of girls, and asked them where they wanted to go. PUB was the consensus, the most direct path route to which meant a direct pass in front of Black Jack. Inexperience let me convince myself that I could trek that route unnoticed. Of course, the girl from the night was outside waiting for me, and because I was unsure of whether or not the girls I just met were a sure thing (not bar girls), I ducked into BJ thinking I’d lose the girls.

It took all of two minutes for the mommasan to reach my table, already surrounded by a throng of girls, and let me know 5 girls were outside waiting for me. I stepped out into the street, thinking I’d be smooth, and asked the girls to come in and drink with me. I bought everyone drinks and chatted with all the girls. Everyone was having a good time, and the two camps of girls began to compete for my attention, which initially worked to my advantage. But, it wasn’t long before the girls I met online wanted to roll to PUB, and of course the BJ girls wanted me to stay.

By this time, it was apparent at least a few of the new group of girls were in fact a sure thing. Because they were new to me, and they were really cute, I decided to take them to PUB. But, still wanting to keep options open, I also told the one girl from the previous night that I would only have a drink or two, then come back and leave with her. Well, the girls and I were all over each other in Pick Up, and only half through our first drink, when the first girl strolls in looking for LK. She sits on side of our table, from time to time trying to convince me to leave with her, but not leaving. I felt a little awkward and bad, but was having so much fun with the other girls.

The girls and I decided to leave PUB for some barhopping, when last night’s logistical error came back to haunt me, and all hell (OK, not really hell…) broke loose. When we hit the street, the one girl and the group of girls each physically latched on to me, and pulled in different directions. The group pulled me to go barhopping, the single girl pulled me toward my room at the Orchid.. Then the catfight began. The girls started shouting at each other in unintelligible (to me) Tagalog. This went on for several minutes; it was 3:30 a.m., and I was lit. I was pulled this way, then pulled that way, and the shouting continued, none of which I could decipher. I did understand the seven year-old girl who also began tugging on me, in her case to buy a woman’s blouse. Finally, I gave in and bought a 200 peso blouse that one of the girls got, and convinced the first girl that she could call me tomorrow at 3:00 p.m., and I would make it up to her. She said no, cried, and refused my 500 peso note to insure her transportation home. (Instead of a call, she showed up in person at the Orchid at 3:00 p.m. the next day.)

Four of the other girls and I went by trike to R&B, a live music club, a cool joint. We ate, drank, and closed the place at around 5 a.m. Then three of the girls and I went to the Orchid for a great round of fun.

Day 3:

One of the girls got us up early (10:00 a.m.) to go to the mall because I mentioned wanting to buy a phone the night before. It was a hot, crowded trip by trike and jeepney for the four of us. We ate (Max’s Spring Chicken, fairly good.) and I bought a few things for the girls, but broke from the conventional wisdom of acquiring a cell phone for my stay. Already, I knew this was unnecessary; girls were too available, and I didn’t want to be. After the previous night, I could see how it could actually complicate my schedule. The girls thought I was a big spender when I sprung 400 pesos for a air conditioned van for the half hour trip back to the Orchid from San Fernando. LOL. After a great shower session with one of the girls they left. Two minutes later the same girls knocked on the door, saying that the other girl from last night was at the desk trying to come to my room. Damn! Was it 3:00 already?

The front desk called, and I allowed the girl up. She made up with me more easily and passionately than I thought possible of a member of the opposite sex. American women should be so understanding. LOL. She left for work a couple of hours later and I made a quick pit stop on Santos and tagged a reasonably attractive girl.

After a room service dinner (The Orchid’s 24-hour service is perfect. In fact, I have nothing but superlatives for the Orchid and staff. I’ll definitely continue to stay there.), I hit Bananita’s for the first and only time. There are several very good looking girls there, and after a couple of drinks I took 3 of the girls back to my room for one of the greatest sessions of my life. Truly over the top, and I’m not easily impressed… Phenomenal! After a few hours they left, a bit weary, as I was. I met the one of my previous girls for the rest of the night in my room.

Day 4:

I tried to use the excuse of finding a gym to get a workout to shake the girl around noon, but she wanted to come with me. She did, and just hung out and waited for me to finish. AC1 Gym is on Friendship, and is a bargain for only a 150 peso day rate. I used it several times and recommend it to all travelers. After I sent the girl home, I immediately found a Santos girl, then hit Dirty Duck that evening. Met a stunner and took her back to the room for an outstanding session. I knew I was scheduled to meet one of previous girls at midnight, so even though I didn’t want to, I had to wake the DD girl, and she unhappily left. I finished the night with the one of my previous girls, who was becoming my favorite.

Day 5:

I hit Santos for a quickie, then took out the group of girls I barhopped with a couple of nights earlier swimming at Orchid. They have a posted rule of “no extended families” by the pool, but no one gave me any static for having six girls in the water with me. I was buying drinks for all, so I guess it was OK. One of the highlights of the trip was my naked, 2-hour, 5-girl, full body (and I mean full body) massage that followed the swim. I swear, I must have had 50 girls massage various parts of me, all very well, over the course of a 7-day stay. This one was the best and better than much of the sex. Eventually, everyone got hungry and the six of us went to Chick’nRibs which is next to Blue Nile. We all had good food, and I got change back from a 1000 peso note! I was flabbergasted!

The group of us hit Brown Sugar for a couple of drinks. By then, one of the girls was getting very attached, and wanted to stay with me for the night to the exclusion of the others, so I told them all I was going to the room to crash and would see them later. She made me feel a little guilty, but by midnight I was at the Blue Nile Executive for the first time. The quality of girls there was probably the best I saw in AC, and so were all ladies’ attitudes toward me. When the waitress brought me the credit card bill, she had added a barfine for the girl I had been talking to for an hour or more. I told her that I wouldn’t be able to do it that night (Had a girl was coming over after work…), but if she would be there the following night I would use the fine then. She was a supervisor and said that she was disappointed, but it was cool. The girl I had scheduled came by the room after work, and made my night all good again.

Day 6:

I swam, worked out, and hit Cambodia for the first time early. I met a really fine girl, whom I left for my room with in short order. She was very hot. Later, I went back to Blue Nile Executive as I had a girl on credit there from the night before. I started drinking talking and touching with the sexy girl from the night before, but she pointed out that there were another couple of girls who liked me. OK by me… Well, these girls were blatantly sexual, nasty, for me, and each other. I was enjoying the divided attention. These two tigresses were definitely on my menu for that night, but I was also still enjoying the attention of the first girl. Well, as the night progressed and we drank, I sensed a little bit of possible jealousy, but eventually had the first girl agreeing to join the three of us. I went to the CR, and life was all good.

I still don’t understand what went wrong in those short two minutes, but when I returned, one girl was crying (She was drunk.), her friend was close to crying, and the first girl was obviously mad at the other two. The mamasan was already involved and despite my attempts to calm everyone, or even understand the nature of the problem, things seemed to get even more heated. I was hot for the pair, so with the mamasan’s help escorted the pair away with the third literally trailing us, still trying to come; but the other two didn’t want her to come, so I motioned for the mamasan to keep the first girl as I hit the door. That session at the room was excellent with one, only OK with the drunk girl.

Day 7:

Coaxed the girls out about 10 a.m., as this was my last day in AC, and time was of the essence. Hit my favorite Santos girl before I left. Then in the afternoon (happy hour) hit Voodoo for my first and only time. Left for the room with a lean, tight girl. After a short session, hit Dirty Duck for another girl and short session at Orchid. Hit the last bar for me in Angeles, Flamingo, which was also the first. Grabbed a girl on her first night there for a short session. I then had my favorite girl from the trip come by for a few passionate hours before she accompanied me on my 3 a.m. drive for an early flight from Manila.

In retrospect:

AC is a blast! Thanks to the posters here, as a few months ago I didn’t know the place existed, much less the lay of the land. Special shout out to Trihunter, as he answered a lot of my questions and gave me excellent and valuable insights.

Jacking that famous quote, I shall return. Probably in July or August…

Jadecool is one of the most popular web sites. Their URL is http://www.jadecool.com/

I have to say, however, that showing up in AC unannounced is the best way to go. Meeting and/or arranging a girl in AC before you show up is a bad idea. There are lots of girls in town. Just go there, see them in the flesh, barfine them, then blow town. Your pocketbook and heart will not be affected as much.

Milkyway,

As Prog has so gently explained, there is no need to prearrange anything in Angeles. What?... would you pack a lunch before going to a buffet !? No ! Be non-commital, safest and cheapest. Just bar hop. You'll get the hang of it, and find favorite places, better on your own than with a lady (even a nice one) steeering you.

Porker,

First timer ??? Oh jeez... to be there again.... best of luck. Easy to have fun in A.C. without a guide, but 3 weeks is a long time in Angeles. Consider a side trip or two.

Prog san,

I envy you for August. I'll be having fun too, just not the AC type. Damnit !

There's a better web site you can go to if you want to meet girls. It's called Cyber Sisters.

Their URL is: http://cyber-sisters.com/

The cost is as low as $5.00/month plus extras (private chat sessions).

This site may be more of what you are looking for. Most of the girls here do not work for an Internet chat site full-time. The girls you'll find here work in the various bars around town. Some are not bargirls. All these girls are in Angeles City. There's always a bunch on-line in the group chat area. Be careful when you entered it. The girls are very aggressive and will want you to do private video chats with them right away. I suggest you look closely at the girls’ on-line page (usually the default once you log on) and decide who you want to concentrate your chat with. You can also send her/them a private email to begin corresponding that way.

I'm telling you this because you asked for it. It is still my opinion that you should show up without a girl waiting for you. You can do that your next trip - after you've found a girl or three that you like. Maybe have them meet you at the airport and keep you company during the long drive north. BTW - Jade Cool also owns Cyber Sisters

Good luck and have fun. It's a great, fun town.

Hey thanks for the info so far, ... Keep it coming. :)

I know what you guys are saying about just showing up there. I most likly will. Still I would like to maybe email a few ladies just for kicks. Im just ending a marriage to a Filipina So I know how they are. I lasted 12 years with my wife. Only problem was about every 3 years her pants seemd to have a problem staying on in front of someother guy. :( But Hey I got 2 awesome kids and the house. :) And Hey Im still young (32) and rdy to get back in the game.... I told myself I would never date another Filipina (this was back befor I got married. ) but I cant seem to resist them..... although I find latina ladies make very good substitutes when they cant be found and Phoenix has no shortage of them.

Hey Milkyway;
Are/Were we married to the same Filipina? Sounds soooo familiar.
Also, I agree with the discussion on Jadecool and Cyber-sisters.
I've been chatting on both sites. It's fun flirting and gets you back in the game. Nice to build up the anticipation before a visit.
Once member took the whole shift from JC out on the town one night. The girls are a lot of fun but no more than you'd expect from any one of the bars - except the girls might (and I say might) have some better conversational/English skills.
However, since they spend all day chatting with guys, they can also be expert manipulators. As always, your experience may differ. It's been fun nonetheless. You'll probably get bored of it after a couple of months as I did.

LK;
Wow, some report - glad I could help. The best lesson for all newbies and can't be repeated enough: NEVER promise to come back unless you're absolutely sure you will. Any promises made to the girls are burned into their brains. That said, you are a champion AC monger!

Maybe we have some travel agents on our board that can explain the logic here...

Just for kicks it did some searching on flights to the Philippines, as well as, Thailand. My search engine was Travelocity.com. I used PAL for the example below but I got similar results picking other carriers.

Dates of travel:
August 13 through August 21, 2003

Cost:
Los Angeles to Bangkok = $604
Los Angeles to Manila = $853

Both Philippine and Thailand trips flew the same first-leg from LAX to MNL on PAL, flight 103. The Thailand trip continued on with PAL, flight 730 from MNL to BKK.

The Thailand return trip used PAL, flight 731 from BKK to MNL then connecting on PAL, flight 102 from MNL to LAX

The Philippines return trip was also the same PAL, flight 102 flight from MNL to LAX

Why in the world would I have to pay over $200 more for the same airline? As a matter of fact I’m flying two more of their bloody planes just to get back and forth from Thailand. This is madness! Are the airport taxes that much to set foot on Philippine soil? Someone please help me understand this?

This is more in the vein of a question.

The last time I had a bit of a 'lay-over', (pun intended) the trip from Manila to Angeles City was horrible. I've never seen such traffic. Even in Thailand or where-ever! Do any of you folks know if a person can get a flight from Manila to Clark Field or where-ever instead of taking the low road to Angeles City or maybe even a place like Subic City or Olangapo?

PART ONE:

Well, what can I say? This trip was a big departure from my normal modus-operandi. I stayed with only one girl from start to finish. Some of you have met her personally and some have only seen her picture. This is not a trip report about numbers or conquests – it’s my journal of my on-going relationship with a beautiful Filipina bargirl. Let me premise this story with a little background history of myself. I’m not a young naive man who got swept away by the charms of these lovely ladies we met in Angeles. I’m a well-educated person. For many years now I have traveled the globe – for business and pleasure. I’m not a lonely guy who sits alone at his computer terminal day in and day out. I have a wonderful, busy, life here in America’s finest city (San Diego). This relationship has built up slowly over a period of one year. I have no elusions of what this girl did for a living – hell I was her customer once! I also know the odds of this relationship succeeding are stacked against me.

My journey began on Wednesday night (May 28). After 10 LONG hours at work I jumped into my suburban and drove north to my mother’s house. From there my youngest brother and his friends gave me a lift to LAX. About 15 miles from the airport the car began over-heating. Right away I assumed this was going to be an omen and that I should just turn around and go home. My brother quickly assured me this was typical of his car. He pulled out 3 containers of water, filled the radiator, then we were on our way again. Arrived at LAX in plenty time. There was no one in line for China Airlines check-in counter. I was told the flight was only 40% full because of the SARS scare. Thank goodness for deadly diseases. I had three coach seats to myself and was able to stretch out a bit after takeoff. My flight to Taipei, and the connecting flight to Manila, was very smooth and uneventful.

It was now Friday morning (May 30). The flight touched down at MNL at 10:00am – 20 minutes early. After a very brief stop to get my temperature checked I proceeded through immigration, baggage pickup then customs. I exchanged a couple hundred USD there at the airport then grabbed a cab to my hotel in Ermita. I booked one night’s stay at the City State Hotel. I reserved a standard room but I would recommend others to book a superior room if they plan to stay two or more days. My honeyko was standing outside, waiting for me when I pulled up. The look on her face was incredible. She looked so small and sweet. The smile on her face was from ear to ear. I dropped my bags and gave her a hug. She wouldn’t let go. It was as if she had not seen me in year (I was only gone 3 months). After paying the cabbie we quickly checked into the room. After a quick shower we reacquainted ourselves. Later that day we strolled over to the Robinson’s Mall and bought her a few things for our trip to Puerto Galera. We then had an early dinner nearby then went back to the hotel. I had missed her birthday and promised to bring her presents when I returned. She first opened the card – tears poured from her eyes as she read the note I had written. Then she opened up the first gift – 2 picture books of California and San Diego. Finally, she opened the big gift. I had bought her a very nice bracelet (gold & diamonds). She thanked me for the gifts then asked where the chocolates were that I had promised her. Crap! I knew I would forget something. She tried to smile and told me it was okay but I knew she was really looking forward to some chocolate. In hindsight I now realized I should have just brought her a card and a box of Mrs. See’s candy – it would have been a whole lot cheaper and more rewarding… Lesson learned! After another session of getting reacquainted we dozed off the sleep…

part two:

i woke up around 5:00am (may 31st). my honeyko was still fast asleep. this gave me an opportunity to catch up on some reading. she looked so peaceful laying there. although she was in a deep slumber she still maintained that wonderful grin from the previous day. her eyelids were flickering so i assumed she must be dreaming. what could she be dreaming of? me? maybe she was thinking about her chances of moving to the usa? probably both since i was her meal ticket away from the poverty she’s lived in all her life. i read for about an hour then took a shower. when i returned to the room she was awake and scanning the tv stations. she immediately found a filipino movie and was laughing her ass off at something. she turned and looked at me. “no honey – it’s not viva, only gma”. like that made a difference to me. i laid down on the bed beside her. she immediately jumped on top of me and commented on how long her hair was (she was not referring to the hair on her head). i agreed and offered to be her barber. 20 minutes later and she had a new look between her legs. she was so excited about it that she begged me to take a picture of it. (sorry guys – that pic stays in my private collection). after a quick shower we reacquainted ourselves again, and then checked out of the room.

i booked the si kat shuttle/boat package from the concierge desk at the hotel. a very comfortable bus was waiting for us for a prompt 9:00am departure. although the bus could hold 50 or more people there were only 20 passengers this morning. the ride down to batangas was supposed to be 2.5 hours. this would have given one hour to relax at the terminal before the ferry pulled anchor. the trip was very smooth and fast through manila. one of the other passengers commented how there wasn’t anyone of the road. well, sometimes people speak too soon. about an hour into the ride the traffic came to a sudden stop. since i had never been to batangas before i couldn’t tell how close we were. the traffic continued at a snails pace for what seemed like hours. at one point we came upon a terrible accident. a fuel truck, heading in the opposite direction, skidded off the road and landed upside down between two river overpasses. unfortunately, the truck landed on top of several shacks. it was obvious to me that there had to before fatalities involved. the traffic started moving again and i soon put the image of that horrible accident out of my mind.

30 minutes later traffic came to a standstill again. this time we were on a two-way road. of course there’s no such thing as a two-lane road in the philippines. soon other vehicles, our bus included, started using the emergency lane and the opposite traffic lanes for passing. this just made the matter worse. by the time we had arrive at batangas we were told that all the ferries had left. the only boats available were the large bunkas. unfortunately these bunkas could not tie up to the piers because of the high surf. did i mentioned that a typhoon had just moved through the area? the bus operator flagged down 3 jeepneys to take us to another port – where the water was calm enough to board the bunkas. what they didn’t tell us was that this other port was 20 km away. the jeepneys drivers, in their quest to collect as many pesos as possible, crammed us in like sardines. after we boarded they then tossed our luggage in on top of us. about this time the rain started coming down in buckets. one hour later and we arrived at this “port”. calling it a port is an overstatement. the bunka was tied up alongside a rusty old barge. we had to traverse three (obviously non-seaworthy) vessels before walking the plank to the bunka. the bunka pulled out to sea around 3:00pm. yes – do the math. it took us 6 hours to get from manila to our boat.

at this point i should mention that it’s not a good idea to sit close to the bow when riding a bunka in high seas. although the crew did its best to shield us from the rain and surf nobody, in the first 5 rows, was spared from the water. everyone onboard looked miserable. i, on the other hand, was having the time of my life. every time we hit a big wave i would swing my arms in the air and cream “weeeeee”. i called it “an adventure”. most of the other passengers got a kick out of my light-hearted approach to our situation and soon people were smiling and chatting away. my poor honeyko, however, was soaked and cold. about ¾ of the way there i remembered i had a rain jacket and took it out and put it on her. although she was happy i had it i got the impression she was a bit peeved that i hadn’t pulled the damn thing out before we left the pier.

we arrived in puerto galera at 5:30pm. yes, what should have been a one hour crossing took us 2.5 hours. after disembarking we were told that the combination of low tide and choppy seas would prevent us from taking a smaller bunka to our final destination (big lalaguna beach). the transportation company made arrangements for everyone to pile into yet more jeepneys for a “short” trip to sabang. i saw that there were only 4 jeepneys parked and about 60 people waiting to board them. i wasn’t about to go thru another session of “let’s play sardine” and promptly hired two trikes – one for us and the other for our luggage. the road to sabang was interesting to say the least. it was paved most of the way except for the uphill portions – go figure. a few times along the way i was sure i was going to have to hop out and push. my driver just smiled and told me to “hold on sir”.

we arrived in sabang around 6:00pm. my two drivers helped hump our luggage over to the big apple dive resort. we shook hands and i paid them handsomely for their help. the hotel had rooms and put us into a superior deluxe room. well my friends – superior deluxe takes on many different meaning and is very subjective in the philippines. i didn’t mind. i was on an adventure! after a quick shower we headed down and had some dinner at the hotel bar. big apple has a beach front bar and is sabang’s version of manila’s la café. i say version, not an exact replica. the talent was below average at best – i was not impressed. we hit the only three go-go bars in town (called discos). i can only remember two of them (sabang disco and village disco). the dancers were okay but the action around the stage was impressive. at sabang disco i saw many ac-quality girls. some looked a bit young but were still nice to look at nonetheless.

we hit all three discos and seemed to always bump into many of the people that made the boat crossing with us. makes sense – sabang town is very small. we went to bed around 1:00am and slept for a good 9 hours.

PART THREE:

Sunday (June 1st). We showered, packed and headed down to the bar for a late breakfast. I chatted with the hotel owner and we laughed about my adventures from the previous day. The weather had started to clear up but there were still many dark clouds overhead. I thanked him for the nice service and the friendly staff. He offered to take us to our final destination and called his boat operator to bring the bunka around. We could have easily walked to Big Lalaguna but the luggage would have made the walk a little tougher. Besides, the bunka charge was 100p. Our next stop was the Lalaguna Beach and Dive Resort.

We arrived at our hotel 5 minutes later. The hotel staff checked us in and asked what had happened since they were expecting us the previous day. The Lalaguna Beach and Dive Resort was very comfortable. The rooms were a lot nicer than Big Apple but nowhere near as nice as the superior deluxe rooms at the Orchid Inn in Angeles City. After unpacking we relaxed for about an hour and did some more reacquainting.

I’m going to fast-forward from here because the next three days consisted of the same routine:

Wake up
Boom-boom
Eat breakfast
Boom-boom
Hike over to Sabang and shop
Take a shower
Boom-boom
Eat lunch
Snorkel in the bay
Swim in the pool
Shower
Boom-boom
Eat dinner
Boom-boom
Shower
Sleep

(June 4th) – we were ready for some Angeles City nightlife so we checked out one day early and headed to Puerto Galera via bunka. The cost was 200p. There were porters waiting to take our bags from our private-hire bunka to the big Bunka that was going to take us back to Batangas. The distance between the two boats was no more than 30 feet yet these guys expected 100p for their services. I offered 30p. They insisted on 100p so I told them they could take the bags back to the other bunka and not get paid at all. They accepted the 30p each and headed off to try to scam some other tourists.

This ride was very smooth and uneventful. The total trip (from pier to pier) was just under one hour. I called Trent Travel (based out of Angeles City) the previous day and arranged for a pickup. The charge from Batangas to Angeles was 2500p. I texted my driver as soon as we landed and he told us where to meet him. I was expecting a long drive but it was nothing like our journey south. This trip north took only 4.5 hours. This included a brief stop at a Patron rest area to get some Jollybee’s take out. We arrived at the Orchid around 3:00pm and settled into a comfortable room in the Hibiscus wing.

After unpacking I was feeling the urge so honeyko promptly took care of it, then we headed down for a few drinks at the poolside bar. I had noticed a few message members, from various sites, had written down their usernames and room numbers. I made notes of where they were staying and told myself I would contact them the next day.

Our barhopping adventure began at Gecko’s. We arrived around 7:30pm and said hello to Angelo (the bar owner). My honeyko was the first to spot Mama from the IwantMama message board. She was sitting at the table by the Air conditioner and was having fun and chatting with friends. It didn’t take very long before my girl and Mama were up on stage dancing away. I was very impressed with the lineup and the number of customers. What a difference a few months makes. I could remember when Angelo first bought the bar. He had some problems with the staff and promptly lost his mamasan and 12 of her girls. The best business decision he made was to hire mommy Fe away from Stingers. Some of you may remember mommy Fe from her days at Y-bar. When she came over she brought several of her girls. Anyway, the drinks started flowing and the shots kept coming and coming and coming… Angelo, being the smart businessman that he is, told me I could run a tab if I wanted. He knew my M.O. Well, long story – short, we left a few hours later with 2 bell rings to my name and a 12,000p bar tab! As a reference I only spent 11,000p total for my Manila/Puerto Galera portion of the trip.

Next stop was Brown Sugar. By this time my girl had already consumed too many shots and mixed drinks. She was out of practice and lasted only 20 minutes in here before she was staggering to the CR. After three trips, with the assistance of some waitresses, I decided she had enough so I helped her back to the hotel. I tucked her in bed, kissed her on the cheek and headed out for more fun.

Champagne Bar was the next place on my list. I had a few drinks here then settled some unfinished business with daddy Tony and mommy Babie. The lineup was awesome as usual. The place was packed but there really weren’t that many customers (maybe 10). There are just so many girls here. That’s probably why they need three Mamasans to keep all the girls in line.

My final stop was Nero’s. I saw an old (semi) girlfriend and chatted with her for a few hours. She now had an American boyfriend and was very anxious to learn more about America. It was nice to catch up on old times. The lineup up here was not as impressive as I was used to seeing. Also, there were hardly any customers in the bar. The waitresses were still pushy as ever with the Lady drinks so my friend told them to mellow out.

I was back in the hotel room by 2:00am. My girl woke up long enough to kiss me on the cheek, smell my privates, then pass out. Hmm, probably checking to see if I was being a good boy?

PART FOUR – FINAL

(June 5th – June 7th) I’ve clumped all these days into one post because I honestly don’t remember which event came first, second, etc.

I hooked up two board members on June 5th – The_Geez from AC2 and Nabi_asia from C-l-u-b-h-o-m-b-r-e. Both were a lot of fun to party with and both could not have been any further apart when it came to girl interactions.

Nabi_asia was a nice, unassuming guy. Sort of quiet and was totally into the Girlfriend-Experience (GFE). The_Geez, on the other hand, was on a mission – racking up some numbers!

I was going to conclude my report by giving my opinion on the various bars we partied in.

Gecko’s: You can tell from my earlier post that it ranked up there as one of my favorite bars. This place is sort or AC’s version of Cheers to me – “where everyone knows your name”. The girl’s were always a lot of fun and kept the customers happy. They have a very short dancer there. She’s probably a few inches taller than what we would consider a midget. Nabi_asia, The_Geez, and I stopped in every night. Plenty of free drinks to go around and never had any pressure to buy Lady Drinks or refills.

Bunny Ranch: I couldn’t wait to get out of this place. The girls were ugly and none were smiling. The only semi-cute ones were hanging around a table with a Korean customer. He was just sitting there – quiet as a mouse. None of the 6 girls around him made any effort to entertain him. The layout of the bar was nice. There was plenty of room at the stage, as well, as tables and booths along the back. The only positive to this visit was I saw an old friend that I had not seen in ages. He was the papasan at Gecko’s just before Angelo bought the bar. When he left there he managed Kitten Club for awhile. When Kelly fired him from Kitten Club he dropped off the face of the earth.

Brown Sugar: Decent lineup but nothing to write home about. The staff was very friendly and daddy Peter was the ultimate ambassador to fun. He’s one of the only managers I know that, when he offers to buy the table a round, he also includes the girls. Most bars seem to think that the girls don’t count – no matter where they came from. About the only thing that annoys me about this bar is their bakla CR attendants. I swear one of these days one of those boys is going to want to wipe my ass after taking a crap.

Champagne Bar: One of the most consistent bars in town. I’ve been a regular here since 2001 and the fun-meter is always peaking. The waitresses aren’t as pushy with the drinks but that may because they know I will always buy a few Lady Drinks. This bar was the last place my girl worked and many of her friends, including many when she worked at Y-Bar, still dance or waitress here. I get a kick out of seeing the look on my girl’s face when she’s there. She gets hugged at least a zillion times, especially when the girls change dancers and parade through the bar - each one stops and grabs her for a hug as they pass by her. Daddy Tony is a nice guy and seems to know every girl in town. My girlfriend and I must have come in there with at least 6 different girls and he made it his quest to figure out their names or what bar they worked in.

Dirty Duck: We stop by a few times during happy hour. They still have the best selection of girls that early in the afternoon. Never stayed here for more than one drink but, if the weather is really hot, this is a good place to start. The Air-conditioning is awesome and the beers are very cold.

Nero's Forum: Is it me or did the talent fall off a bit here? The place wasn't as fun as it used to be. The waitresses are still too pushy and hog the customers as soon as they walk into the place. There were some nice girls dancing but they just didn't seem to be enjoying themselves IMO. There were very few customers in the place. I came in one night with four girls and also was buying drinks for two waitresses. I never saw the manager. It's not that I'm a Cheap Charlie but when a guy shows up with that many girls, and is also buying drinks for his employees, he should at least make an effort to stop buy and say hello. Maybe I'm getting old and crabby.

(June 8th). The drive back to NAIA was very quick. We made it in 90 minutes. There was zero traffic on the toll road and in Manila. I said goodbye to my girl and checked in. I flew coach to Taipei but upgraded to Business Class from Taipei to LAX. I slept most of the way. The flight landed ahead of schedule and in no time I was on my way back home. I hit the pillow at 1:00am on June 9th and woke up at 6:00am for work… :(

Well, that’s it. A short trip but fun nonetheless. My next trip is in 22 – 31 August. I hope to see other members there. I always stay at the Orchid so leave your username and a contact method on the marker board by the poolside bar.

Hommie,

Sea Air offers daily flights from Manila (Terminal 2) to Clark. Check out their web site at http://www.flyseair.com/

Go to Products/Services->Special Promos

At the moment the page is under construction but you can email them at tickets@flyseair.com and request information. Last time I checked I believe they were offering fares at 900p one-way and the flights left in the afternoon.

Hopefully cebu local will see this post and add his comments. He IS the master of in-country travel within the Philippines.

Great report Prog;
It was almost like reading a novel but I like novels. Amazing to see you committed to one girl. I was still expecting to see you "fall off the wagon" prior to your departure.
Unfortunately your girlfriend had a meltdown after you left and kicked her roommate in the tits. However, all is calm again and the tits have recovered.
Wouldn't it be great if we could get her trip report upon visiting San Diego?
Day 1
Everything is so f**king expensive I can't believe it. I could feed my 28 brothers and sisters for a year on one round of drinks. We went to a bar and spent a lot of money but the manager didn't buy us any drinks - what gives? For fun I jumped on the table and flashed my tits and got kicked out. Is everyone bakla here?
At night we went to a party that starts at 7:00. My bf insisted we get there no later than 7:30. I was horrified.
Driving is scary - I haven't seen anyone drive on the sidewalks! What are they waiting for?
I'm starving - I stopped at many traffic lights and couldn't find anyone selling candy, snacks, pop, cigarettes or flower garlands.
White people here are very different. They all seem to have something called "jobs" and leave early for "work". Maybe the only ones who like to stay up all night to drink and boom boom are already in AC....

Progman.... here is your answer about why the airfare to Thailand is cheaper than to the Philippines..... the country of Thailand subsidizes the airfare ... that's right, they have an agreement to pay the airline(s) a certain amount for every passenger they deliver to their country .... it helps them to increase/boost/stabilize their tourist industry..... other countries do the same thing but I am not exactly sure which ones...

and that was a great report prog ... and for anyone who doubts that is what life is like in Angeles City and Puerto Galera, take my word for it, it is all that and more....

Tri,

I think you nailed everything correctly - the only thing you forgot is "IT'S SO FUCKING COLD HERE!!! I CAN"T BELIEVE MY HONEYKO CAN WALK AROUND IN JUST A T-SHIRT WHEN THE WEATHER IS 75 DEGREES... TALAGA!..." BTW - LVL is a no-go on Thailand. Also, other interesting news. Send me an IM on Yahoo to get details but I think you can figure it out... :)

Studplayer,

Thanks for the airfare info. Makes sense... The PI gov't is in no position to do that. They've dug a hole so deep (economically) that it'll take them years before they can get out of it. Instead they tax the shit out of their OFWs when they return. Still, the PI continues to be my favorite SEA country to visit. I had a great time in PG - I think our next destination will be Boracay. Stay tuned...

Prog,

Great report, albiet long winded. But it does make me feel like I'm there again !

Trihunter,

That was fk'n funny.

On the airfare thing...anyone thinking about a trip to both the P.I. and the L.O.S., buy your roundtrip to BKK then after arriving, buy your ticket to the P.I. from an agent in BKK. You'll save.

What up fellas-

I was hoping to get some opinions about the Vigilante Bar. I think it's over on Mac Arthur. A buddy of mine was laying down some info. on it for me before my visit. If anyone's been there, how does it compare? Is it worth the trip away from the main strip? Any other thoughts would be cool.

Thanx-
