Apart from misspelling "capitol", you should also have put a comma after language and a question mark at the end of your first sentence.And, he should have capitalized English, which is a proper noun.

I not been there for 2 years now, my gf1 told me that prefers the local discos where foreigners are not welcome, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next 2 years.If you did not like Juliana, check out Auto Shop across the way. Filipino owned and operated with better beats and sound system IMHO. Top notch security and the food is decent too. They also own the KTV next door so you can have some quiet time with the girls!
Ok, I made a few mistakes as I was typing fast. This has nothing to do with using a period at the end of a sentence. A capital letter at the beginning of a sentence. It does have to do with making a long paragraph into one sentence. Much easier to understand if those are used.
Also someone never heard of put a period at the end of a sentence when they were in school. Amazing. Otherwise I stand corrected

You guys are killing me. Pah-leeeze get back to the knowledge sharing in Cebu.
(I agree, however, the instant messaging and tweeting crap is dumbing down the entire language, UK or USA, notwithstanding; and it's difficult to read if one has more than a 4th grade education.)
But this forum is about fun stories that advance the cause of mongering. Here, in Cebu. I did not get back to Cebu this year and I'm still living on memories of last year. So every detailed story of Mango Square is gold.

Went there last night and I have to mention the foreigners I saw act like jerks, I was in the que with 5 of my girls and 2 guys with their bar girls decide to jump the que. Prob thinking the pina girls where just locals, the pushed their money into the cashier, I told them there was a que and the cashier gave them their money back.
We had our table inside and while dancing on the stage some foreigner guy with his barfine sits down at our table, despite us having our drinks there, we decided just to get another table. So we moved to a out side table.
Out side there was guys just fishing for locals at one time was 5 tables in a row with a single guy just trying to pick up girls, one was calling out to any girl even girl with their pino boy friend and you wonder why some pino boys attack foreigners.
One of the 5 guys picked up some ladyboys and started kissing mouth to mouth in public. 2 of my girls saw this and said something to me, I think they prefer not see gay men in public kissing, I also think the guy did not even relise he had ladyboys he looked drunk and dumb, he did not look gay and I had seen him trying to pick up other girls before the ladyboys sat down, to me it is quite clear which girls are freelancers there rather than sit down and not move arround go to their tables and order the girls some drinks, talk to them they are humans, if you sit and not move you will be targeted by the lady boys,
The reason you move around is you find a lady only table, try your "luck" there, my gf1 had a guy try pick her up on her way to the CR, when you see two girls walking it does not mean that they have no dates, they do leave the table to move around, so go look at the table they go to see where they are at and watch. No one tried to talk to my girls at my table even though I had 5 girls with me, I use to go there with other local boys and their gf, if you try pick up a locals gf at a disco expect the worst,
Then some really drunk staggering foreigners walk up wanting to get in, but was turned away as one the guy was being prompt up he was legless, they came back with out him and latter one guy fell over on a local table smashing the drinks and injuring them, they then ran off, a few locals once they realized that they bolted went looking for them.

I've just had a week in Cebu City, and Mactan. Here are a few notes.
I stay a few nights at a hotel here, and a hotel there, so I can truthfully say to my chat-mate (s) for that day that I have either just arrived or am leaving tomorrow. I am not into P4P. Usually I stay at Beverly Boutique Hotel, Dynasty, Montebello Villa Hotel, or Kiwi Lodge.
At the Beverly (previously called Eddies) it is always a good welcome from Peggy, April, and the team. The free inclusive breakfast if booked online (Agoda) is nothing to write home about. It's very convenient to local spots. Lone Star is just around the corner, the Maxilom clubs only 100 metres away, and Ayala and Robinsons a 10-15 minute walk away. And it's great to have free WiFi in the rooms.
Kiwi Lodge is getting a little tired hat for me. Friendly staff, but there are a few non resident customers who seem to own their particular bar stools and pretty intolerant to visitors. The rooms (I had a De Luxe for 1350p) are getting a little tired, noisy air con, old tv set, no or marginal wifi, and someone's old breakfast tray remained uncollected outside the door for the whole day. But I must confess the 'Australian lamb shanks' are a menu draw card for me.
I had a couple of nights at the girl-friendly Park Hill Hotel in Mactan, very reasonably priced at about 1000p, tucked in behind the Days Hotel near the airport and a walking distance from Marina SaveMore and a host of nice nearby restaurants.
In Mactan the Magellan's Landing Bar and Restaurant seems to be the focus for many expat residents. On Maxilom El Gecko is under new ownership and has been revamped, with a small regular clientele.
My new discovery this trip was 'Our Place', in Cogon, on the corner of Sanciangko and Pelaez Streets, this is a small pub with good (Goodenough may disagree!) western (uk) food. It is now owned by a father-son Welsh team. There is a nice atmosphere there (but without air conditioning) and with many locals dropping in. It is open till 11pm. This place is one street off Colon Street and just a block and a half from the infamous Junquera basketball court and the Junquera 'chicks'. I know it has been the topic of recent debate in this forum but I would say there is plenty of casual choice in the locality. In walking with my chat-mate from Our Place into the night market on Colon Street and around the block at last a dozen 'chicks' were giving me the come-on eye, but not tempted.
One last snippet, I was able to negotiate 4 packets of Viagra and 4 of Cialis (standard 4 tablets) from the touts outside Robinson's Mall for a total of 1000p for the 8 packets. But my most arousing purchase was 10 tablets in a bottle of a Chinese herbal product called 'Happy Time'. I am wondering if I am become dulled to V and C, but Happy Time, for 400p really left me upstanding! With a regular 19 year old chat mate (nearly 50 years my junior!) last night she nudged me at 2am, after an earlier session, and bingo I was up and coming in minutes. 'Too quick' she said. I was prepared to roll over and go to sleep but after some wonderful oral administration I was up and at it for at least another 30 minutes. All positions and she kept wanting more and in the end I couldn't make it but she said it was three times for her! I will soon find out if it was just a one off 'Happy Time' experience!

Where did you buy the Happy Time meds?I bought a box, containing a bottle with 10 tablets from one of those parasitic street vendors on or near the footbridge at Robinsons, Osmenia Circle. They generally sell viagra or cialis, but this guy had a shoulder bag obviously with a good supply.
However you should be able to buy it elsewhere. For instance I discovered a non-prescription pharmacy in Cagayan de Oro called Boticas (next to Coras 3 on Rizal Street) that sells "Happy Time" for 420p per bottle. I don't think you would get it at Rose, Watsons, or Mercury Drugs but try the alternative medicine shops.

I actually learned something from all this good natured grammar banter. A period is what we English call a full stop, although I have never in my life before heard a full stop referred to in this way. It just goes to show that although English is sometimes known as the 'universal language' it is used by various nationalities in different ways to the point were we sometimes do not understand each other.
I have never actually heard of the description 'King's English' since we have not had a male monarch in the UK since the early 1950s. I was always brought up with and schooled using the term 'Queen's English'.
Maybe the original poster is a lot older than me, since I was born after the Queen's coronation (God bless her).
By the way Tazdevil has been very silent since trying to (wrongly) correct my English. My guess he is a non-native speaker who dosen't quite understand the complexity of the English language and he certainly didn't do his research as extensively as he should have done, before throwing his "2 pesos worth" in.
Oh and Fredje1961, if you are going to poke fun at others, make sure you capitalise (capitalise spelt the English way with an s instead of a z) the word American. Furthermore Tazdevil, 'spelt' and the word 'spelled' are both grammatically correct according to UK English.
Seriously guys what does it matter if we make a spelling mistake here or there, so long as the post is readable and makes sense it shouldn't matter especially since many posters are not native English speakers...........now let me think should I have used a question mark after that last sentence........hmmmmmmm?

There is no such language as American English.
There is a language with periods, sidewalks, fanny packs and other peculiarities however they are not English terms. Therefor the language of which you speak (not which you speak of, for you should never end a sentence with a preposition) is a bastardised version of English. A copy language so to speak. LOL

Downtown covers Palaez, Sangcianko, Jonquerra areas, Colon and southern side of Colon. Cheap accommodation down that way isn't worth it. Unless you like residing amongst cockroaches, rats and pimps.
Whether victim is a Monger or not is irrelevant. If he is a person harming no one, that is enough. Perhaps he was being supplied girls by the pimps and they decided to take him out. If you seem foolish to those people, pimps, you can invite trouble. They can be a mercenary lot. They certainly are towards the girls.

I saw the same complaint posted on the Davao thread. I guess those of us who live here and know some of the cities reasonably well get tired with the endlessly reiterated instructions on where to find women. If you had read back more than three pages-which must have taken you all of five minutes-you might have found what you were looking for. Barba for one has written extensively about the street scene in Davao and others have written about the clubs. As RK has stated, had you bothered to raise specific questions rather than whine about what you were unable to find after your perfunctory search, you would doubtless have received some answers.
On the other hand, I can understand the frustration, given that this site is called a sex guide, so in the interests of fairness, here's some general information on Davao:
1. The commercial sex scene here is neither as extensive nor as obvious as in Manila or Cebu. Though there are several P4P clubs, there are not nearly as many as in the aforementioned two cities. Conversely, Davao is probably the most fertile hunting ground I've ever seen for meeting semi-pros and "gifted amateurs."
2. The most well-known clubs are the Hot Legs trio. That is, Hot Legs 1, 2, and 3 all of which are located within the center of the city. Of the three, Hot Legs 2 on San Pedro St. Is arguably the best, though Hot Legs 3, located just off Rizal St. Is probably the least sleazy.
3. Plaza Roman on Cabaguio St. Includes a couple of bars, a massage establishment, a KTV and a short-time hotel at the back. It's safe, usually full of women and you can remain on site in a VIP or short-time hotel room or pick a lady for dalliance at your hotel of choice.
4. There are probably 30-35 bars packed into a short strip on Torres St. Opposite the Holiday Spa. These are not, strictly speaking, FL bars, but they do get packed with semi-pros and students looking for tuition help on the weekends. Likewise, Bar 183 on Rizal St. And Someplace Else, in the Habana Compound on Rizal are likely venues for the same sort. There are also bars in the Auto Shop complex just off Bajada Road. Where you're likely, at least on the week-ends, to meet women in the mood and in the market for a casual romp in exchange for money.
5. I have never, in the 8 years that I've lived here, taken advantage of the street scene, but there's quite an active one. Lots of the SWs concentrate in the area around People's Park. For specific locations, check out some of Barba's posts on the subject as he's done extensive research.
This is also a town that's packed with colleges, and, during the week days, you can always find students in the eateries, coffee shops and small stores around the campuses of Ateneo, Davao's Doctors College and others throughout the city.
For reasons that I've stated often, I don't play in my own zip code, so it's been quite a while since I've been to the clubs. According to my friends who are frequent habitués of these places, nothing much has changed since my more active days, and the scene is as I've described it. I have no idea what the bar fines and related prices are, but others in this forum surely do.

GEGE, I do not want to bring an extensive discussion about Davao into the Cebu thread, but in all fairness there is a huge difference today and say 3-4 years ago. The licker ban with the closed Torres "clubs" seems to be a marker in history as well. Places are definably not packed. Anything but a weekend, Davao is more or less a ghost town. As someone said. A village disco of Thailand beats the main attraction in Davao any given day. Saturday there will be a hand full of "GRO:s" in Evibe@Torres but apart from this, the girls are actually not trowing themselves at you by any means. Not seldom you need to work on your game and expect visits to the beach and / or the parents to have any form of quality punani. I think it can be deceptive to live in Davao and see all of these girls, but once you try to have a continuous flow of action you soon hit the stop signs over and over again. GE, you have seen the amount of money I fuck away in a couple of weeks, and this is an indicator of why I have a fair success rate in Davao. Conservative girls wishing you Gods bless, is more likely than girls throwing juiced up knickers at you.
Davao is laid back and a has a nice, provincial touch but we got to be fair and talk about this city for what it is. Where else (apart from maybe CDO) would you have a handsome guys in his mid 30:s in the head attraction of davao, walking up to Barba asking if any of the four girls present perhaps could be a working girl (this was one of the two top clubs that Friday night we had dinner att DBK)? Out of the four girls present, non was available for p4p. He had been in town for three days and since he did not do street walkers, he had not been laid once! The four girls where another team of girls dancing in a square with their pinoy men drinking beer behind them. Just out of interest I took several drives down and around Tlonko street that is the hunting ground for street walkers under 25 years (not Peoples Park where you mostly find more mature females and ladyboys). Normally 6-8 tattooed gang-girls sitting close to Central bank but no girls on the side streets as there used to be. There are always 2-3 ugly ones at the end of Rizal and some drugged out wreck on San Pedro. The girls that used to hang around Victoria and Gaisano seem gone. Can anyone tell me what is going on with Davao? Is the finical crisis that bad? Maybe we move this to the Davao thread.
One newfound friend asked me if it was normal for Davao when his suggestion for a happy ending in a seedy massage establishment was met with a "maybe if you come again tomorrow I will do it". He is used to Pattaya, so no more comments needed.
I would say that one should come prepared to Davao. Either prepared with names and numbers or with good walking shoes for scouting the malls. There is not much of fall back plans to talk about. The mentioned bars and massage places normally will have mostly wash outs from Manila and Cebu, together with one provincial young diamond if you are lucky. GE the picture you paint of an abundance of smiling and willing girls, would make me very happy and I do not want to be a spoiler, but Davao as I know it is mainly a city for normal and often slow moving girlfriend-boyfriend relations. You can have many girlfriends, and there is freedom in the relations of course, but it is still not anything close to walking in to a bar packed with 20-30 teens that will fuck you ten minutes after you donated your 1700 pesos.
Before I go on, I will invite other opinions from recent visitors. Sometimes we get fed up or home blind, but so many guys I met the last two years where disappointed with Davao. The last guy I met when we where leaving Davao, said that he had spent a few days and did not see once single pretty girl. This was a 60+ American, so not exactly Brad Pit looking for Miss Jolie.

GE, I do not want to bring an extensive discussion about Davao into the Cebu thread, but in all fairness there is a huge difference today and say 3-4 years ago. The licker ban with the closed Torres "clubs" seems to be a marker in history as well. Places are definably not packed. Anything but a weekend, Davao is more or less a ghost town. As someone said. A village disco of Thailand beats the main attraction in Davao any given day. Saturday there will be a hand full of "GRO:s" in Evibe@Torres But apart from this, the girls are actually not trowing themselves at you by any means. Not seldom you need to work on your game and expect visits to the beach and / or the parents to have any form of quality punani. I think it can be deceptive to live in Davao and see all of these girls, but once you try to have a continuous flow of action you soon hit the stop signs over and over again. GE, you have seen the amount of money I fuck away in a couple of weeks, and this is an indicator of why I have a fair success rate in Davao. I would say that one should come prepared to Davao. Either prepared with names and numbers or with good walking shoes for scouting the malls. There is not much of fall back plans to talk about. GE the picture you paint of an abundance of smiling and willing girls, would make me very happy and I do not want to be a spoiler, but Davao as I know it is mainly a city for normal and often slow moving girlfriend-boyfriend relations. You can have many girlfriends, and there is freedom in the relations of course, but it is still not anything close to walking in to a bar packed with 20-30 teens that will fuck you ten minutes after you donated your 1700 pesos.
Before I go on, I will invite other opinions from recent visitors. Sometimes we get fed up or home blind, but so many guys I met the last two years where disappointed with Davao. The last guy I met when we where leaving Davao, said that he had spent a few days and did not see once single pretty girl. This was a 60+ American, so not exactly Brad Pit looking for Miss Jolie.

First, in the 8 years or so I've lived here, and worked in virtually all of the insurgent regions of Mindanao, I've never heard about that ransom and execution, largely because it never happened. You may be referring to the Maguindanao Massacre, during which 56 people-about 36 of them journalists-were executed by the Ampatuan clan. As despicable as this was, no foreigners were involved and it happened deep in the Bush and no where near where any foreigner has any reason to be.
Second, the continuous US military presence in Davao is between sparse and non-existent, and would have no correlation to a reduction in the number of sex workers, which has never been as high as it is in other cities. I would suggest rather that there is a direct correlation between economic development (Davao is booming) and the proliferation of sex workers. As economic opportunity increases, fewer people take jobs of last resort.
Third, the "advisory" regarding travel in the Philippines was issued more than 8 years ago, though it gets updated once or twice a year. I'm sure it has an overall negative impact on tourism, but the fact is that in relation to Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, the Philippines has never attracted a river of tourists who prefer places with better organization, better infrastructure and perhaps more interesting and accessible cultures.
There's so much distorted information about the country that circulates internationally, and there's no need to perpetuate it here.

I lived in Davao myself from 2002. 2004 and still travel occasionally to Mindanao for business reasons and there is absolutely no problem with living in Davao or Cagayan deOro in the north either. There is no correlation whatsoever between insurgency or conflict in parts of western Mindanao (the islands particularly) and a decrease in the number of working girls. Simply exit the terminal and pass all the yellow taxi touts and give them a smile and tell them you will NOT be riding with them today, instead cross the road and head for the gate and then up the stairs to the waiting line of white local taxis. Yellow airport taxis charge 70P-4. 50p and the white taxis are the regular 40p-3. 50P. To be fair my Premier Elite status with PAL provides me with a priority baggage perk so my bag is one of the first to come out. I leave the terminal, meet my GF outside and I am in a taxi and on the way to Cebu City in a few minutes, leaving everyone else to fight for taxis.
The "jacked up fee" you mentioned might only apply if your hotel is outside the Lapux2 or Cebu City area, and sometimes the request is acceptable and sometimes not. Again YMMV depending on your situation. Once in awhile the yellow airport taxi drivers will ask for a flat fee to take you to your hotel instead of using the meter if he thinks he can suck an extra 50p or 100P from a first time visitor to Cebu.
Yellow taxi from the airport to Fuente average usually around 375P-400p which is expensive IMHO. The cost for a white taxi from the airport to the same destination will average around 180-230P depending on traffic and time of day. The cheapest taxi I payed was a 120P white taxi. That was during the Christmas holidays with zero traffic and a crazy-assed driver who told me no CITOM working the holiday so no need to slow down or stop. LOL. I gave him 150p.

My mistake I just noticed the 1am part. If you will be on an International flight there should be a few taxis but if you arrive on a domestic good luck. You can walk over to the guard booth at Waterfront and ask them to call a taxi. You will have to deal with the taxi driver and he will ask for "extra" because the guards will demand a finders fee.

For a KTV check White Castle located near the new bridge. No take out but no problem getting contact info. There are a few others mostly geared towards Koreans and Japanese.
For bikini bars check Mermaid but hit it early for the best selection. There are a handful of others but as with most bars they can be hit or miss. A few others that can be fun are Frolics and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Spent some time in Cebu, tried different options:
Mango.
Many regulars and no pro in Juliana, it's a good option if you like to have a GFE plus some tips / restaurants / gifts.
Massage.

I put this information here as I can't find a better place, bantayan it's a small island north of Cebu.
Very quiet and peaceful, a nice beach near the harbour in Sta Fe town, I preferred the beach on the right side of the pier (Beach club, Beach Placid hotels) , I preferred the second.
There's only one place "Zanzibar" on the road from St. Fe to Beach Placid, bad music, karaoke. 4-6 girls, but apparently only one can go out with you (not bad the body, but not tried) the other are there just to talk and make you order drinks.
Other bars in St Fe have nice girls, but they are regular and working, so you need to spend time in the island to go together when they finish working, not my option unfortunately.

The bus ride trough a nice landscape in the countryside and on some hills before reaching the pier (San remigio town) , it's about 3h. Bus ride.
From the pier a ferry in 1 h. Take you to St. Fe, one of the main towns in Bantayan, many hotes are available, just jump on a tricycle and explore before choosing or go direct if you know it.
I rented a scooter for 300 / day after bargain, they start at 400 (some 450 / day for one day)
There are not excellent restaurants, but Cou Cou and D'jungle are not bad, I also loved street food, very tasty and never had problems.

No way, I don't mean to say that things are that bad. Or that it was necessarily more costly. Arrived in Cebu from HK on Tuesday and landed at Mactan. Have any of you guys done this as you are leaving, I am just worried I will be given a hard time for overstaying my visa, even if it is only a few days. Maybe I am better just extending it before my departure date, anyone got any advice?

When I did it, I just hand them my passport, take a pic and 2 hours later I get a text message stating that I can pick up my passport with the extended visa.

But the immigration man was right in that you can pay as you exit for a 1000 fine plus the extension. Certain worry warts here will probably tell you that you are talking a huge risk by not following the law but I have done it myself without much hassle. Also know many guys that do it every trip. The key is not to stay more then a few days over as the fines grow exponentially.

I met two very young mothers, one of whom was 14 and had an 18 month old son cradled in her arms and the other mom was 15 with another baby boy aged one year. It was a depressing sight to see mothers who are still kids themselves, living in abject poverty with no hope whatsover of ever seeing salvation from their plight. Daisy made no secret why she was visiting and I felt just a little uncomfortable having the whole neighbourhood knowing I was there to find an 18 year old girl to fuck but it was too late by now and in any case the locals seemed completely unfazed as though this was a perfectly natural and understandable request from a foreign man. I would like more punters to see what you saw so that they can see the other side of their actions here in PI, those squatter areas are the places that supply girls for the bars, the first 2 you would have seen are ones that could not get work in the bars so they rely on friend to pimp them out, they may get lucky and end up as domestic helpers on 1500. 2500 peso a month. I know the area well and it is run by one gang, there the drug shabu is the are the main source of cash. I overstayed last time by 7 or 8 days. Do not do anything. It is cheaper (as long as you do not overstay weeks) and saves time if you just go to the airport upon departure. They they send you to another boot with a cashier and you pay X times 100 or 200 pesos. Problem solved. Not even an angry face.

Try and visit the Quezon Avenue nightclubs. You will be in a distinct minority if you are white or non Filipino. I found this out, oddly enough, by having a FB contact with the former bartender at Silver Dollar. I'll have to check it out one of these days. Silver dollar has AC now. I kind of liked it hot last year. The dancers would get sweaty which was an unexpected turn on for me.
There is also a new bar next to Red lips which is quite nice. I'm not particularly fond of the lounge / sofa style that the Eric group use, and this new place has barstools all around the smallish dance floor. Small place but worth a visit.

I have just arrived in Cebu. Firt visit since July 2010.Welcome back to Cebu. Stripes is a depressing place, I would have to agree. The Australian owner sits at the end of the bar and gives off bad vibes. He must be a misrable sod watching his investment and bar evaporate into thin air.
I don't think the mirror behind the stage has ever been cleaned and I have yet to see the owner get of his tambok ass and come say Hello, or buy someone a drink. Friendly is the last thing I would call Stripes. The owner hires alot of older girls and most have kids and those girls do not seem at all interested in barfining and appear happy to collect the dance fee and a few lady drinks. Not alot of quality IMHO.

Some nights are better than others at Red Lips and it depends on the customers. A few times a high roller was at the bar buying LD's rounds for all the girls and ordering pizza from yellow cab so I finished my SML and left.

In Cebu and MNL the situation just makes me wonder WTF is the matter with Filipino men that makes them okay with kanos and Koreans and everyone else coming into town and messing around with their premo chicks. And even with the knowledge that many, if not most, of us are messing around with them bareback and maybe knocking them up with our legacy that Filipinos later get to take care of. But hey, if they allow then by all means take that as your okay to exploit it. A sucker is born every day and it's not our job to protect them from their own lack of initiative to stop it. Take the Japanese for example, they close off the best P4P places and non-pro clubs to foreigners because they have the pride to keep it to themselves. Go to Tokyo and try picking up a hot J-girl on the street and see if some random J-guy doesn't try to step in and make a distraction to stop your game. Filipinos on the other hand seem to not care, as long as the money is coming into PI, anything goes. For this reason, I feel like PI is just about greed and corruption and there is no real pride in anything except money accumulated. This is just my perception and I realize it may be wrong! Still lots of investment going on in the shape of building works, the place will be enormous by the time it is completed, with a huge residential community in addition to the workforce. The footways are all clear and even and the landsaping has provided lots of greenery and shrubbery making it an oasis in the center of Cebu City. There are lots of places to eat here and some good independent eateries as well as the big well known chains.
Arrived at the Country Mall and got a few numbers from girls walking around the Mall. Cebu is much better place generally plus for this hobby for me than Manila and Cagayan de Oro as far as the 3 cities I visited.

Philippines police said Thursday they had arrested a 78-year-old Australian man and were preparing to charge him with sexually abusing local girls who lived at his home.
Police raided the man's home late Wednesday after an investigation prompted by suspicions he was abusing as many as seven girls staying with him, said Timmar Alam, a police official on the central island of Cebu.
"When we arrived at the house, we saw the four girls in the living room but another girl was in the kitchen and she ran off and escaped," he added.
The four girls, aged between 14 and 15, were turned over to state social workers and will undergo a medical examination to look for evidence of abuse, Alam said.
The man, who was detained at the local police station, had lived in the Cebu island for about 10 years but it was only a few months ago that rumours about him began circulating, the police chief said.
The suspect denied the accusations, said Alam.
"He said they (the girls) just went to his house and he befriended them and their parents. He said he helped them and paid for their education," he added.
Police acted after a tip-off that the children had started living with the Australian in June.
Police said they would file criminal charges against him on Friday, including for trafficking and child sex offences.
If convicted he could face 25 years to life in jail, said Alam.
An Australian embassy spokesman declined to comment saying it was up to Canberra to release a statement on the matter.

For trips you better to find a girl that works part time at the bars she sounds like she does not want to go. A barfine at some bars is 850, so I wouldn't hesitate pay that for a few days, but what bar is charging 2800? You didn't even tell us if it is a Cebu bar. Sounds like the gal is asking for too much as well since she probably gets half of the barfine. If you have already made inquiries you will not be able to do what I recommend below.
Tell the girl to take a few days off. She'll have to give the bar some excuse. Some girls will do this, especially if they enjoy your company. If she insists on you paying the bar fine, she may be trying to maximize her income, or she isn't into you, has family obligations or is just trying to follow the rules of the bar.
That being said I spent ten days in Cebu waiting for the perfect gal to take to the beach. I hunted in bars and DIA. I never made it to the beach. I'm just too picky. One bar gal was from Camotes and I was ready to take her there and pay the 850 daily bar fine. Sadly it is my last day in the Philippines, arrived back from AC last night (managed to get a couple of AC field reports done) and checked into the Waterfront opposite the airport. I didn't feel it was worth going all the way into Cebu City last night as I had to be back at the airport to check in at 10. 30am today for my flight back to HK, but I will be back again within 4 or 5 months.
I used the services of a ladyboy pimp last night who lives in Lapu Lapu to bring me a girl. I was too tired to go hunting and wanted someone completely different to my usual stable of DIA girls that I normally use. They arrived at 11am and I had to meet them outside the International Departure Terminal as the hotel does not allow visitors after 10pm and security was exceptionally tight yesterday. The ladyboy insisted on accompanying me and the girl to the lobby which I personally found very distressing. They even had a member of staff at the elevators checking guests and visitors going to the room but I just told the guy there that my visitor was in fact the second guest in the room (it was a double room) The girl was one I had seen before, living in Lapu Lapu and very poor, but we both already knew each other which meant there was not that awkward chit chat that you sometimes have when you first meet someone and try and break the ice, when deep down you are not interested in the chit chat at all, only to get her panties off as quickly as possible.

My plans to retire here next year will hopefully come to fruition, but I am still very worried about how I will occupy my time here if I do decide to settle down. I have said it before and it has been the subject of much discussion in the past, but there is only so much pussy you can bang and after that what do you do? I envy the guys that live here and are able to undertake some kind of fulfilling work to give them a reason to get up each morning, but full time mongering (for me at least) would lose its appeal after a couple of months. I also don't want to spend my days hanging around in bars trying hard to develop cirrhosis of the liver, I need something slighty more stimulating than that to keep me sane.

Me: "Have any of your other customers been able to connect to the internet?" (I can see several customers with laptops out)
Waitress: "No Sir"
Me: "So you are telling me no one is able to connect to the internet"?

Me: "Well why didn't you tell me that when I asked you about the internet?"
Waitress: "Sorry Sir sometimes it doesn't work when the weather is bad"

It's my inability to consistently tolerate this sort of situation that makes me wonder about my ability to survive happily here in the longer term. I've been here for almost 8 years, and I figure if I was going to learn to accept it, and not to let it bother me, I would have learned already. It's a good litmus test to use when considering this place as a possible retirement site, since similar situations repeat themselves in different contexts frequently. Such as with almost every retail experience, from buying shoes to buy groceries. When you extend the circle of complete ineptitude to almost every facet of society, from government agencies, the cops, the utility companies, and then factor in the massive corruption and dishonesty, it can be a bit tough to take, no matter that your life here may be terrific in other respects.
I guess the ultimate question, for all of us who live here, is whether the general insanity and failed nature of the place is more than counterbalanced by the admitted delights, and the reasonably high quality of life one can lead. Maybe the answer is different for all of us. Of course, a lot of the equation also relates to where and how you live.

Before I reserve a room online, I email back / forth several times with a woman named Arvie about room details. On 3 separate occasions I ask if they have 'free wifi in the rooms'? She answers 'yes' each time. I reserve the room. Upon check-in, the wifi in my room is working fine. The next day, a butt-load of conventioners start checking in, and about noon my wifi cuts out. I take the laptop and start walking about my floor, up / down the halls. No signal on my side of the building, but a strong signal on the other side, where the larger rooms are. I walk downstairs (with the laptop) and ask the receptionist where my signal went. She says there is only wifi in the lobby. A pinay walking by behind me overhears and says no, hers is working fine upstairs in her room. The receptionist says its available only in the lobby. The woman insists it is working in her room. I ask for the manager and the pinay and I explain where the signal is.
Mgr: no sir, your signal strength won't work in the rooms. We set it that way. Use in lobby only.
Me: your website says in the rooms. Also Arvie.
Mgr: no sir, it does not. Arvie did not.
Me: I can show you the site right now on my laptop? I can show you emails from arvie. It worked this morning until an hour ago.
The other pinay chimed in its working in her room right now. The Manager called a guy over. In visaya, poorly translated I'm sure:

I thought he was going to fix it so it would work for my side of the building. Not. He turned it off everywhere except the lobby later in the day. I was steamed and used it in the lobby. In talking to her and her friends, they were unhappy with this, and her friend said probably they did it to keep the guests from overloading their capacity. I was steamed at the hotel's lying about the issue. Clearly it worked for a day. Then for 1/2 the hotel (my side) it got cut off. Then later for all the rooms. The next morning I checked out a day early."You leaving because no wifi in your room?" Yes ma'am. Also I asked to speak to Arvie, who denied she had told me there was free wifi in the rooms. I had previously printed her email (the reservation info) , and right there it was when I showed her, where she said 'yes we have free wifi in the rooms', on 2 occasions. I called the manager over and showed her.

Right up the hill from downtown is the crap hole squaters complex jonquerra. Not really impressed with the girls here last few times I went through. Lock your doors if you are in a cab. I know most people will say its safe but do you want to be the foreigner that gets robbed I don't.

Here is a few good tips, if you are changing money at ayala mall go to the basement where the grocery store entrence is. There is a money changer down here that payes about. 30 a peso more than the one on the first floor. See I just made you all some money.

Was leaving Mactan today, got through all the security checks and immigration and finally made it to the waiting lounge for my Cathay Pacific flight to HK. Decided to check some emails and went into the coffee shop / restaurant. Checked with the waitess to make sure they had wireless internet first and once that was confirmed by the waitress I ordered a coffee. Half way through the coffee and still unable to connect to the internet I had the following conversation with her:

The MCI airport has free wifi in most of the departure areas, with the exception being the lower connectivity around the ground gates. Gates 7 and 8? The wifi does have frequent outages and it leaves pax searching for an independent source of wifi and the small restaurant / smoking section will often tell pax they do have wifi but its the same source feed from MCIA.
In reality the attendant will only repeat what she / he has been trained to do and say, and any kind of outside-the-box thinking is not only looked down upon, but seen as working harder than they have to. If I am not sure the answer provided is correct I spend a few extra minutes asking more questions to clarify the situation. Sometimes this helps, sometimes it just leads to frustration. Very often when a customer service person does not know the answer they will tell you what they think you want to hear so they do not look dumb and lose face in front of you and the other employees. The only independent wifi source as far as I know inside MCIA departure arera, is inside the Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge. If you know the password you can sit close to the lounge and log on.

The real question should not be why, but why not?
Why not travel around the Philippines. To go forth and experience new and different cities meeting new people. Whats so wrong with that? If you are happy with p4p girls and it works for you that's cool, but by your logic every guy should go straight to AC or Mango avenue with no need to go anywhere else.

Like Stroker said, you keep a long list of contacts in your phone or computer as backup. That worked for the most part. I'm just used to having to use it. You had me chuckling as I read this, as I feel your pain. It's my inability to consistently tolerate this sort of situation that makes me wonder about my ability to survive happily here in the longer term. I've been here for almost 8 years, and I figure if I was going to learn to accept it, and not to let it bother me, I would have learned already. It's a good litmus test to use when considering this place as a possible retirement site, since similar situations repeat themselves in different contexts frequently. When you extend the circle of complete ineptitude to almost every facet of society, from government agencies, the cops, the utility companies, and then factor in the massive corruption and dishonesty, it can be a bit tough to take, no matter that your life here may be terrific in other respects.
I guess the ultimate question, for all of us who live here, is whether the general insanity and failed nature of the place is more than counterbalanced by the admitted delights, and the reasonably high quality of life one can lead. Maybe the answer is different for all of us. Of course, a lot of the equation also relates to where and how you live.

I agree with you, there is no advantage to posting pics IMHO. I stopped posting pics because a girl I met and later posted pics of here was shown those pics by someone. After many angry text messages from the girl it was clear there would be no repeat sessions. Live and learn so I stopped posting pics.

Not the right thread, but I reply here anyway.
I did share her details with one person that I consider I know slightly. He deserves this info after all his posts of big juicy hooters. I will let it rest there, since this girl expressed that she wish to get serious with me. Even if that was never on the menu IMHO, I still do not wish to be a total jerk to her.
I meet preggos and lactating girls every now and then, so next time I can share info (if the girl agrees to it). Lactating girls with small tits are not that hard to find, even in the bars I think. The hard ones to find in Asia are the girls with D and above.

Gentlemen, although I am a regular visitor to the Philippines I have not had the opportunity to stop in Cebu for about 2 years.
Simple question, is the scene essentially the same, I. E, Mango Street, Silver Dollar, etc, or are there any "new" venues I should explore.
Yes, I could spend hours reading posts, but thats why I joined this forum, quick and easy info.
I tried asking this question on a potential trip to Bali and, for whatever reason, some acted as if I was asking for the formula to the second stage of the Atlas Sentar Booster.

Located down the little alley, next to Yellow Cab Pizza.
Previously the barfine was 1700 PHP but seems they implemented a new policy where the girl can negotiate freely herself.

The latest news, within the last week Hot Rod has undergone a possible ownership change and is now called "Planet X". Is X-Man the new owner? If so I demand to see the owner and get my 10% ISG discount! <insert big grin smiley here
IMHO the change you will notice from your last visit is the increased number of foreigners in Cebu, and the emergence of a much more pronounced semi-pro scene in the discos and malls.

Plannet X has older girls working there. Love city was raided a few months back and the younger girls are not there now. Papilons has a few small girls. Off the mango strip and down the road from yellow cab is redlips. Else not much has changed.
