What an awesome and event filled night. Thanks for your PMs and ideas. I appreciate the comments that I would be quite unlikely to find what I was looking for due to the cultural / traditional predispositions of Filipinas, but.
After a great dinner of ribs at Racks at Fort Bonifacio, Baobao and I headed over to Burgos to try our luck at the bars there. First we headed into Bottoms as a kind bro on here had suggested. It was about 10pm, and the shifts were changing. The day gals were listlessly shuffling on the stage as the topless (except for that strategically placed ribbon) night shift gals chilled at nearby tables. After finishing our drinks, we left and stopped by Café Cubana next door so I could use the wifi to research a better plan. Sitting at the front near the street was a hot curvy little number who smiled at us both. Baobao summoned up her courage and went to talk to her, then invited me over. Joy was her name and after some discussion made it clear she was NOT interested in a three way. However, she was so charmed by Baobao and her genuine interest, Joy took it upon herself to get us both laid. Interesting place in comparison to AC. I moved up the street bar to bar to check it out. After enough bars getting groped by 3-8 bar girls, my poor crotch was getting tired. Team Insider is the ground floor of Tunes Hotel in Burgos. Sort of opposite St Giles.

Best sports bar is Howzat. In the main bar there are approx. 10 monitors and you'll often find several events being shown simultaneously. The main event will have the audio. The back bar has the wide screen. Though the real football dominates, you'll get rugby, cricket, Aussie rules, and the Yank sports too. Shangri-la is walkable if you are fit & not in a hurry. I'd probably grab a cab unless its a particularly beautiful night with quiet streets & you have plenty of time. The streets can change in mood, often OK but sometimes risky. Common sense tells me not to walk long distances in the early hours of the morning in an unfamiliar city possibly intoxicated.

As you can see from the title, I have been reading pages of the Manila and Makati forum. Though have not found a real "direction" where to start.
I usually travel to the Philippines, two times each year and stay in the New World Hotel in Makati. Convenient to the action and good hotel. I am familiar with Havana Cafe, Burgos Clubs, Edsa and the "lower" quality Manila Bay Cafe. And yes, at each place one can find the "jewel" in the rough. Though quite often it is hit and miss.
Usually I stay three, maybe four nights. This trip though my stay will be muich longer at 8 nights. Once I find someone, I keep them for my stay as I hate to change. That is me I guess.
What am I looking for this trip? Student. 20's I guess. I do want to support their education naturally. And would be looking for them to stay with me over night and several days.
To the experts. Do I go keep trying Manila Bay Cafe? Havana Cafe? Any other suggestions. Internet?
So as not to "overburden" the market? Rates you recommend? I am generous. Though do not want to spoil it.

Seriously, there are fewer university and technical school students starting this June. Phils public education system recently went from K-10 to K-12. (I think the new K-12 policy began last June [?]). As a result, students will now be going to higher education at age 18 rather than 16. So university enrollments are down substantially for two years while the 11th and 12th grade cohorts reach college age. Also, some public universities are shifting to a September/August semester start rather than June. Technically the 16 and 17 year olds would not have been accessible anyway, right? But in about four years the numbers of students in age group 20-22 will begin to grow.

Been 7 yrs plus since I have been to Burgos in Manila. The P4P action is off the rails. Prices have skyrocketed beyond anything you would even pay back in the West (or anywhere I have been in Asia). I was in Thailand last month paying 700-2500BHT for ST / LT with top end spinners. Compared to the assanine prices in Go Go bars now in Makati. Rouges was 1600 pesos for bar fine, with reports going up to 5000 pesos on here. WTF. Plus quotes were being thrown around between 3-5000 for LT. I relented and took a 19yr old spinner, and grinded her down to 3500 (plus 1600 bar find) for LT. After a few hours she was jonesing to go home (2 pops). Knew drama was in the making, so got her number and just put 3500 in her purse while she was in the shower. I probably could have put less (yes I have no issues in being a Cheap Charlie).
So what is standard now for high end spinners for ST?
Should I just stick to SW and Havana Club (posts indicate inflated prices there)?

As for the possible change in commencement dates to shift to a calendar year? This change is only happening (to date) in 3 of the larger private colleges / universities. The majority have not yet decided what to do and the Government schools will do whatever they are directed to do.
Anyway; the start-up dates don't affect whether students need money or not. The whole transformation in education arrangements will NOT affect anything to any large extent.

Sort out the chaff from the seed & proceed to meet them when you arrive. Remuneration depending on hotness, passion etc can vary from mild to wild.
Pro's : Students don't want to get married & are a little more worldly. Students have to attend class occasionally instead of hanging around you constantly. Students have often seen a little porn & are curious to try.
Con's : Can get expensive if seen regularly. I don't advise becoming an absentee remittance boyfriend.

It's very simple SK. You commented on something without knowing the details of what I meant by "phasing in".
School Year (SY) 2012-13: Introduction of the new curriculum for Grade 1 (Elem) and Grade 7 (Sec)
SY 2013-14: New curric covered in Grades 1, 2; Grades 7, 8.
SY 2014-15: New curric covered in Grades 1, 2.3: Grades 7, 8.9.
SY 2015-16: New curric covered in Grades 1, 2.3, 4: Grades 7, 8.9, 10.
SY 2016-17: New curric covered in Grades 1, 2.3, 4.5; Grades 7, 8.9, 10, 11.
SY 2017-18: New curric covered in Grades 1 to 6 (Elem) ; Grades 7-12 (Secondary)
So, as I said in my earlier post; the introduction of Years 11 and 12 will not start until SY 2016, and will not be completed until SY 2017/18.
There are various strategies planned in which your "gap" will be covered.
ONE is for DepED in 2016 to contract the colleges / universities to deliver the Year 11 school curriculum (and avoid not having ANY entry students) instead of their regular first year college entry.
This will also be done in tandem with a number of larger secondary schools that will add-on a Year 11 to their existing Year 10.
The same arrangement will continue in 2017 until the full 12 year new curriculum is implemented.
By that time it is hoped that the secondary schools will be ready to add on the Year 11 and 12. The Colleges can then re-adjust their curriculum to cater for the changed entry levels.
ANOTHER strategy is for some colleges to downgrade to senior high schools and offer Years 11 and 12 only.
There are numerous other strategies in the melting pot. Hopefully many of them will lead to the forced closure of many non-performing second-rate tertiary institutions.

Last week I was visiting Beijing as my favorite scam artist girl (met through an art scam a couple of years back) did celebrate her birthday. As you can see from the title, I have been reading pages of the Manila and Makati forum. Though have not found a real "direction" where to start.

Did hops to Cebu and Sabang Island. I like bars but the bars on Burgos are quoting 3900 BF and 5000 for the girls. Taxi is about 3500P one way and bus is 160P Rent a scooter for 500 p and ride to White Beech. Cleanest water I've seen in a long time. Stayed at Out of the Blue. Highly recommended.
There are plenty of offerings on Burgos street but I was a little hesitant. Did do a massage and BJ for 1000 P. It was adequate after a long days travel.

He makes the purchase of a box for 200 pesos after some good natured haggling, and proceeds on his merry way. A few meters later he gets a tap on the shoulder from a serious-looking uniformed cop and asked to step inside the nearby cop car, in which is sitting portly, obviously more senior officer.
In the car, the portly cop asks him to empty his pockets. When my mate pulls out the box of V, the cop begin to read him the riot act about stamping out illicit drugs in this country, the seriousness of the crime, the length of the jail sentence he will have to serve, etc. They drive him to the nearest cop station, along with the guy who sold him the V, put them in separate rooms and start doing the good cop—bad cop routine. My mate hears noises coming from the next room holding the V seller that sound suspiciously like whimpering.
Long story short. 45 minutes later, the cops finally let my mate go after an escorted trip to the nearest ATM, where they relieve him of 50, 000 pesos, of which, the V seller no doubt receives a few thou 'for his cooperation'. My mate, sensibly, does not ask for a receipt.
As a 'gesture of good will' the cops let my mate keep the box of V, which he duly put to good use the next night. Most expensive hard-on he ever got!
Moral of the story. When you need to buy the V on Burgos, choose a side street and keep an eye over one shoulder.

Stories like this Manta Ray is what prevents Phils to even dream about becoming even a second world country. They will stay as a shit poor third world country for many many years to become. In any event, as you pointed out, it always pays to use due diligence when dealing with street vendors when buying V or C. Personally I wouldn't even do it in the first place as most of what they sell is counterfeit and who knows what you're really getting. Unless you already have a reliable source, you're better off either bringing it with you or getting it at a pharmacy; sure it costs a little more at a pharmacy, but at least you're more likely to get the genuine product (generic or branded) and you won't have to worry about becoming the victim of a scam like your friend.

You right. Anything under 100, you are looking at 3 star or sometimes 4 star.
Most of the decent hotels in the Greenbelt area run 140 or over. There is a new Holiday Inn which is GF, sometimes is about 129.00. And Burgos actually is not very far from Greenbelt. I have walked from both City Garden Inn and St. Giles to Greenbelt. I walked because I needed the walk. It took me 30 minutes to walk it. A late evening walk is pretty decent, and on the way you can check out all the girls leaving their offices. I usually get a lot of nice smiles, but have never stopped to chat. I decided to walk because if I took a taxi during peak hour, it takes me longer in a taxi than a brisk walk.
The walk from Burgos is a straight shot to Greenbelt on Makati Avenue. It is a pretty decent walk. There is always people walking down this main throughfare. I consider it as a pretty safe walk. Probably much safer than walking through some of the streets in Burgos. On the way you will pass couple of other hotels such as the Mandarin, Peninsula. Just past Makati Shangri-La on your left as you are walking towards Greenbelt, you should see Greenbelt on your right (Greenbelt 4).
The hotels in Burgos, such as St. Giles, City Garden Inn, Best Western are all pretty decent and run about 80 bucks.

Good luck.Yeah I also walked twice from Tune hotel next to Burgos to Greenbelt. Once alone and once with a girl during rush hour, she also said it will be faster walking. Daytime it is very hot but very safe area in Makati Ave. Must avoid busy streets, cars, one or two big streets that are hard to cross and go underground too a bit. Good exercise though and very safe area.
I'm now thinking staying at the One Greenbelt Hotel that was mentioned here too. Very good location and it seems to have mainly good reviews. Maybe 70-80 bucks a night. St Giles is ok location too, but I think the hotel is very old, which scares me a bit. Of course it is a decision to make whether to stay close to Greenbelt and close to shopping and restaurants and then taxi to Burgos nightlife or stay around Burgos and taxi to Greenbelt when needed. Neither one is a bad option but of course it is those shopping malls that make tho hotel prices very high close to Greenbelt.

Yeah I also walked twice from Tune hotel next to Burgos to Greenbelt. Once alone and once with a girl during rush hour, she also said it will be faster walking. Daytime it is very hot but very safe area in Makati Ave. Must avoid busy streets, cars, one or two big streets that are hard to cross and go underground too a bit. Good exercise though and very safe area.
I'm now thinking staying at the One Greenbelt Hotel that was mentioned here too. Very good location and it seems to have mainly good reviews. Maybe 70-80 bucks a night. St Giles is ok location too, but I think the hotel is very old, which scares me a bit. Of course it is a decision to make whether to stay close to Greenbelt and close to shopping and restaurants and then taxi to Burgos nightlife or stay around Burgos and taxi to Greenbelt when needed. Neither one is a bad option but of course it is those shopping malls that make tho hotel prices very high close to Greenbelt.Yes it has gotten a bit tired. I stayed there a few times last month as I couldn't find anything worth swathing to. The rooms are decent sized if you get something higher than the stander room but that's not that bad either. This is a partial repost of an post I made earlier. I stayed at Mosaic Tower and found it to be the best place I have stayed. It is a modern guarded condo with a bachelor suite a block from Greenbelt. It is easy to wander over to Greenbelt, get a bite to eat earlier in the evening, go back to the room for a for a break, and head back Greenbelt to watch the show if you wish.
The condo had in room wifi, a 32 inch flat screen, a full fridge, micro wave, and a coffee pot with dishes. The stove had been removed. They provide three day a week maid service. It was perfect for what I wanted. The only thing I did not like about the room was that the location of the air conditioner was such that it blew directly across the bed all night and I ended up sick.
A word of caution. I was expecting a woman over to spend weekend but was was surprised when she was able to arrive and knock on my door without the guards calling me to confirm.
As I recall the room was about 2,500 pesos a night. I booked through ibookit, but have the managers direct contact information. She warned me that there was no discount for booking direct.

As I said in my post, I believe I booked through ibookit. It was a bit of a pain as they only took paypal when I was there. The pictures of this room are almost identical to the room I booked and I was very happy with it. As for the bathroom, well it is not huge, but has a comfortable walk in shower with no bathtub. Other than that the standard toilet sink, and mirror.
I was delighted with the service the manager gave me. She allowed me an early check in and a late checkout at no extra cost. By late I mean I did not check out until 4:00 PM or later. She was very service oriented. If you want the contact information of the manager send me a PM and I will to dig it out for you.
Another condo you may wish to look at is Shaw Residenza. It is not as convenient to Greenbelt as Mosaic Tower, but still less than a couple hundred peso taxi ride to Greenbelt. I stayed there twice and enjoyed the stay both times. It is defiantly roomier than Mosaic with a main floor and upper level. The main floor had a sitting area with TV, cooking area, and kitchen table etc, along with shower and bathroom. It is all open concept so really just one big room. The upstairs had two bedrooms and I think a bathroom off the master bedroom. Again very good people to deal with. I booked directly with them and again had excellent service. They take a cash damage deposit and do an itemized inventory before you leave but there were no issues with them giving me back the exact bills I left for a deposit. Again I can hunt out the managers direct contact information if you wish. There were no issues with my bringing guests past the night guards.

Try to stay close to A. Venue mall. It is such a hot spot now. 4 blocks to Burgos. Hooters is right there, Grammery 71, Tyme bar, lots of places to eat. Greenbelt is about 60 to 80P away. But really Greenbelt is not a great place for girls. It is a fantastic mall with great places to eat, but Havana is just mildly ok in my opinion. Also Malate is about 150 P away depending on time of day.

I went last February to Makati and have been there several times. If you don't want to pay more than $100 max, this puts you more in a 3 or 4 star range. The important thing to remember is having a central location in Makati, so that you are near Burgos. From Burgos, you are close to Greenbelt as well. I would recommend either the St. Giles Hotel or the Best Western Oxford Suites. Both of these hotels run anywhere from about $65 to $80, they have decent rooms, are girl friendly, and are in Burgos area. We have stayed at both, I thought the rooms at the Best Western Oxford Suites were large, clean, and good value for the money.I have to agree about the Oxford Suites being a good central place to stay, and still being good value for money, although its a getting a little more expensive now that it has become part of the Best Western chain.

1. Stardust and Rogues are the less expensive Burgos bars with 1800p barfine + usually 2000p to 2500p for LT.

The Makati area is always the highest price in Manila for mongering there are many place much cheaper if you know where to go, you can go to place like MBC and Harrison or go Mall hunting for freelance or SW in Quezon city it is a hit and miss some time you can get some very nice girl cheap, the EDSA entertainment complex is just as high as P burgos bar now day with so many night club and KTV closing down there are not too many option in Manila you can go to AC or Subic bay for much better value or go to dating site for some freebie GFE girl.

Yes, you do have to negotiate or let me rephrase, it is better to nogotiate! And Key Master, you are right. There a lot of pro's there. And when you get the pro, you do want to negotiate. I have been going to Havana for a long time. I always negotiate. For so many years, Caf Havana has enjoyed a successful business with or without the WG's, and no rival with the same concept has come close to compete. Of course, the location has big advantage (Ayala knew it, and charged it) That's why he reproduced his success from the small place in Adriatico Circle to Greenbelt to reach a bigger clientele base. Actually through out my travel in Asia, I haven't seen any place that has the same mix in its operation like Caf Havana. A few places in big cities in China play similar music or even has Latino band, but one can tell that nobody has put in the same efforts as Larry and did it right.
I did go back to the old Caf Havana 7,8 years ago. I like the small intimate setting of the old place. Less crowded after the new place opened. More of the Caf Havana I pictured. I don't know if it is still open? Will somebody around Malate report back?

At about past 3 pm On Friday, hotel supervisor Michael Puzon and assistant supervisor Rescon Talagua found Gale's body when they checked his room after he failed to answer their reminder of his check-out time.
Gale was lying on the bed with blood on his face. An Armscor. 38 caliber revolver with serial number 31555 was found near the right side of his body, police said.
The victim's body was then taken to the Veronica Funeral Home. The Makati City police said the United States embassy was informed of Gale's death.

Greenbelt.
A nice place to wander in the afternoon or evenings, there are 5 (maybe 6) mall complexes within the whole area, but the one of main interest is obviously Greenbelt 3, and Cafe Havana which is by outdoor cafe areas (near to Starbucks and Seattle Coffee). I was there in the afternoon on a Friday and there were a few pretty young things hanging out (and a few old ones). Judging by the eager eye contact they were definitely available (I had already planned a hookup so didn't partake).
Glorietta.
Not so far from Greenbelt, this mall is equally large but all indoors, plenty of coffee shops. I didn't get the same vibe as with Greenbelt, but it only takes a tiny bit of flirting with shopgirls and you're in (two numbers from two attempts, and I'm by no means a looker).
A. Venue.
A tiny mall near to Gramercy, some restaurants and an SM Market. The highlight of which is the Hooters attached to it on the far side, a very enjoyable afternoon there (one waitress number).

Malls.
Greenbelt.
A nice place to wander in the afternoon or evenings, there are 5 (maybe 6) mall complexes within the whole area, but the one of main interest is obviously Greenbelt 3, and Cafe Havana which is by outdoor cafe areas (near to Starbucks and Seattle Coffee). I was there in the afternoon on a Friday and there were a few pretty young things hanging out (and a few old ones). Judging by the eager eye contact they were definitely available (I had already planned a hookup so didn't partake).
Glorietta.
Not so far from Greenbelt, this mall is equally large but all indoors, plenty of coffee shops. I didn't get the same vibe as with Greenbelt, but it only takes a tiny bit of flirting with shopgirls and you're in (two numbers from two attempts, and I'm by no means a looker).
A. Venue.
A tiny mall near to Gramercy, some restaurants and an SM Market. The highlight of which is the Hooters attached to it on the far side, a very enjoyable afternoon there (one waitress number).
P. Burgos.
Only had one evening there, but enjoyed a good evening visiting Bourbon (loads of girls, not too grabby), Plan B (quite small, not great quality) and my personal favourite, Dimples (good quality, but very pushy). The BF was advertised as 3 k, but the girl I was interested in gave me her number and visited me next day (4 k) and was a wildcat.
Clubs.
First things first, unless you're Brad Pitt, you need a wingman, it's pretty tough getting anywhere solo because most non-p4 p girls are in groups.
Gramercy 71 (Makati).
This place was HEAVING with stunners. The boy girl mix was about 30/70 on a Friday night. Very easy to strike up conversations at the bar. Unfortunately we had to leave early, but well worth checking out.
Raven (Fort).
On the top of the W Hotel in the Fort. A massive club, pricy to get into (800) and very loud music so pretty hard to get into conversations with girls. The boy girl mix fairly even. Girl quality is sensational. A good hunting spot for someone with better game than me.
Prive (Fort).
My favourite club in Manila, Saturday night this place was literally full of unbelievably hot women who were pretty friendly and approachable. Left with a stunner (cost = dinner at Gramercy the next evening) and spent the rest of my time hooked up with her.
Imperial Ice Bar (Fort).
Pretty good fun, more guys than girls, but the ice bar is good fun for 20 minutes.
I found the key the clubbing in Manila was a) don't get too drunk (you can see girls avoiding the guys who've had to much), and b) be friendly and smiley. Girls will happily share a conversation, and will even more happily accept a drink, getting to where you need to go from there is not difficult if you can hold a conversation.

Am I the only one that thinks dropping a $100 US for a blowjob in a bar is outrageous? Especially when the same thing is available in Thailand, which is a richer country, for $19.

Man walks in bar, has a drink, gets talking to a girl who grabs his junk and before you know it, hes in the booth.
Now it used to just be 5 drinks and you got the blow for free, so I don't know if he overpaid, his wallet was hijacked by lust or the girl spat out (sic) a number.
Of course, its also just as easy to get a US $22 BJ if you know where to look in Manila. So no the prices arent out of tune. But occasionally a girl gets a lucky number.
Not the same as the various bf bars in Bangkok where the only thing on offer is a BJ and very little by way of fun and chat and pre match build up.
