AOPA (I imagine I'm the first person quoting AOPA on this site) says that if you fly over 80 hours a year, on average it cost more to rent. But there are a lot of variables include the plane, how much maintenance you can do on your own, and where you keep it. I fly about 100. My experience is that is break even is closer to the 100 I fly. But owning is much more flexible and enjoyable than renting so even at a wash, I greatly prefer to own.

There are mainly two types of massage the first one is the kundalini massage which is with 2 girls and lasts about 90 mins. It's if I am not mistaken 2000 pesos. This is a kind of Hawaiian massage with long flowing strokes and more use of the forearms. The second one is the classic signature massage which is for 2 hrs and is 2 kpeso. This is more stronger and firmed a combination of Swedish. One therapist. This does come with a face mask as well.
Now both these massages include a time of the session dedicated to prostrate and lingam massage. What we call happy ending. The best thing I like about this is that there is no haggling. No talking. It's all in their SOP. 2 k all in.
Now about the place. It's got 3/4 thin separated partitions. And curtains in the front. I arrived last night from Angeles City for a 3-night stay in Makati. The drive from AC took almost 4 hours, most of it stuck in Manila traffic, for a 90 km ride. Mind boggling! Alright. I gave p. Burgos another shot. I'm pretty stubborn and I knew there had to be something decent left. So I left my hotel room and scoured the side streets and came across a bar called Kojax, obviously run by the same people who run Plan Be based on the same decor.
Now this is a throwback to Makati's heyday. A stage full of hot early 20's Filipinos in sexy outfits, just waiting to get some drinks and bounce their tight little booties on your lap until you get so horny you need to take them home. That's better. At least one fucking bar owner knows how to run things still. My despair was alleviated by a semi-chub from being surrounded by legitimately sexy women misbehaving in public. Titty sucking, ass grabbing, pussy flashing. No french kissing sadly, but maybe that was a few more tequila shots away. Some legitimately sexy and talented dancing going on, and a bit of lezzing out. Saw almost as many bare breasts here as you can glimpse in a place like Lollipop in AC, if you keep your eyes peeled. I also got jealous that some old dude grabbed the hottest little thing I've seen in months, right before I was about to call her over. When I was there, I managed to find lovely Filipinas at both Burgos clubs (Kojax, PlanB, and Bottoms) and among the FLs walking the street of Burgos. No, it was not a shit hole, far from it. Expensive? Of course, especially when compared to AC or Cebu. If you did not know that going in, now you know.
You said you are white European, so surely you must have mongered in Europe. I read your report with interest and you do make some valid points. However, I still think the Phils is the best place to chase pussy by far, it is just that the game is changing.
And the reason it is changing is because of the internet. There are still millions of beautiful young women in the Philippines that will be happy to rock your world for 2000 pesos, but most of them no longer need to strut their stuff on stage at a girlie bar. Those girls with a bit of savvy and a decent data plan can simply go independent on the various dating sites. This allows them to be more choosy and vet their clients better. No longer do they have to go with the old fat ugly foreigner guy (or put up the pressure to do so from mamasans and customers) in a bar. Of course this is perhaps not a good thing if you happen to be an old ugly fat guy, but if you are in reasonable shape and have a bit of game, there is still plenty of pussy to be had, trust me. On the dating sites, you will find more duds, but also more diamonds. Sure it takes more time, but in my opinion, it is worth it for the gems you will discover.
My approach is to set up a date with an internet chat-mate for the afternoon, and if she is a dud, just send her on her way and go to the bar at night. If you are felling drained (and you should be drained if you have been here at least a day or 2), there is no pressing need to barfine, but just go to the bar and enjoy the show. I stopped in Cowboy Grill to listen to some music. Nice to sit in a non-smoking bar. Place was filled on the lower level. Mostly locals from what I could see. 2 shots of Baileys and one SML total P365. I didn't order any food but it looked like a lot of tables ordered food.

This is my fifth or sixth time in the Philippines, second in Manila. Before I stayed in Cebu.
Arrived in NAIA around 7 pm on Saturday. After a very long flight from New York via Vancouver and Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific. The airline is really nice and the price is good but the flights / layovers were a little too much especially waiting for 9 hours in Hong Kong. There were two flights earlier that were completely booked so I couldn't get on them. I would recommend flying PAL out of New York also with a stopover in Vancouver for an hour and then direct to Manila landing in Manila at a great time of 10 am.
Went through security fairly quickly and got into a taxi line which did not move at all. I was in a bit of a rush because I needed to meet my airbnb hosts by 8 pm so they could give me the keys. Also, I didn't have a local phone but in NAIA there is free WiFi for a limited time so you can stay in touch via Viber / Whatsapp or FB messenger. Ended up getting the white taxi cars to Rockwell for 800 php. At first the guy showed me a price of around 3 k. I laughed and walked away and he lowered it to 1.5 k. I kept walking and finally another guy offered 800 php. So don't be afraid to bargain.
Arrived in Rockwell which is an upper scale gated community with a medium sized mall in the center. Went into the mall and to the globe store to get pocket WiFi. I highly recommend this over buying a cheap phone. Unlimited 7 days WiFi was around 1 k. I was able to keep in touch with everyone via Viber / whatsapp or fb messenger. In malls and casinos and my condo there was wifi so I didn't need to use it but outside or in cars it comes in handy.
Took a little bit of time to find the lobby of Joya towers south and there I was greeted by my airbnb hosts that took me up to the room. The room is small, good for one person and a a guest. Has a nice balcony. Very small bathroom. Barely any space to put toiletries. But for me it was fine. She did say that the pool and fitness room is managed by a different company and they recently started not allowing non condo owners to use the pool. She also said that soon they won't allow airbnb in these condos all together.
Not the way I wanted to start my vacation, so I was happy when they left and I could take a shower and relax. I agreed to meed one of my contacts from FC and in about an hour I came downstairs to a really nice tapas / wine bar called Rambla. Highly recommended, good small portion food and excellent wines. Good atmosphere inside and outside. Soon the girl (we will call her M) showed up and we had a glass of wine. She then said that one of her friends has a birthday today and they are going to Royal club. I said we can all go then. So, we met up with her friends and soon were walking up the staircase in Royal.

I left AC by a taxi booked through Margarita Station. Nice clean Toyota people mover picked me up and dropped me off in Makati 2. 15 hours later. Cost was PHP 2,700 + 300 driver's tip.
I had one day / night in Makati before flying off to my home country. I booked the Fairmont Hotel in Makati on booking.com. Not cheap, but very nice and literally across the road from Greenbelt. It was certainly an interesting set up and I love these field research trips. Great learning experience, even though I won't be going there again.

Most girls are introduced to prostitution by their sisters, cousins or friends from their home towns. Abby left her son back in the village with her aunt. Abby worked for about 18 months as a prostitute and when she saved some money, she returned home to the Visayas. Not wanting to go back to Manila, she decided to set up a sari-sari store in her village. Unfortunately, her relatives and friends started buying goods from her store on credit without ever having the intention of paying her back. Soon the store went bust. So Abby was forced to return to Manila to survive and prostitution is the only business she knows which pays well. This is her second stint in Makati.
One thing I learnt in the Philippines is that without an education and family connections, it is impossible to succeed. If you are poor, it is virtually impossible to escape your social class. Abby's only hope of escaping this life is to marry a foreigner and go abroad. Although she makes a reasonable living from her work, much of the money is spent on living expenses for her and and her son in Pasig and the balance is sent home to help out her father and siblings. Her cousin (the one that got her into the trade) has just married a 60-year old New Zealand retiree and has gone to NZ. Abby is hopeful something similar might happen to her.

Knightsbridge and Milano are a touch higher-end than Gramercy. I make every girl leave an ID with the door security guy and sign in (never had a complaint whether she's a pro or not). Condo security guys are similar to hotel door security, they are looking out for the client. The condo units are often smaller than a hotel room, but you will pay considerably less and have nicer amenities (all 3 places have balconies with high-floor units for spectacular views, and beautiful pools). If staying for just a few days, there's really no advantage to the condo (possibly cheaper), but if staying longer its like having your own apartment; you can cook and such.
I was looking thru airbnb recently and found reasonable units (balcony, pool) in both Malate (Bayview Mansion, 43 sq m, $23/ night) and Makati (several you mentioned and more) for $30+. Just a short drive away from the Century Mall area, across the bridge is Aqua towers, with larger and nicer units, and I booked one (balcony, fiber 20 mb / s Internet, pool) for a week for sub-$30/ night.

Milano would be the best as its the newest one in the area.
Another one I would recommend is Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong. It is across the river, but still very close to Burgos. It is located right in front of Powerplant Mall.
However if you are looking for closer action, Milano is currently the best option.

However if you are looking for closer action, Milano is currently the best option.I concur, the only problem is that there's a construction site opposite that is going pretty much 24 hours a day, so you need to ensure the condo you rent is on the far side of the building or sleep quality will be a problem.
Haven't tried Aqua yet, but I know a lot of the Royal freelancers live there so it might be fun by the pool.

Arrived in Manila on Friday afternoon from Hong Kong, 10 minutes through passport control and Uber to Makati. As others have mentioned before, it is usually faster to get Uber XL. Checked into New World Makati less than an hour after landing. This hotel is ideally located for mongering in Greenbelt and not too far from P. Burgos St.

1) Get a premium membership on FilipinaCupid for a month. I occasionally like to mix it up when I spend time in Makati. Sometimes I'll go with no plan and no meet ups booked, and just wing it. I've had some pretty good results but that's mainly because over the last 3 years I've built up a long list of girls. Other trips I like to plan to the finest detail (who'll meet and when, what service they'll provide, what I'll pay etc). But with both of these models, it is always immensely hard to predict the reliability of who will show up (and when).

So with that in mind for my last trip I put together a spreadsheet to put to the test the reliability of those that said they would show up and whether they actually did. I've attached if for your viewing pleasure purely because it tickled me pink when I went back and reviewed my original plan as compared to what actually happened.
Obviously knowing the pinay mindset pretty well I had a number of backups available for each slot I had planned who were all Makati based and therefore able to come over at relatively short notice.
Hopefully the attached is pretty self explanatory; of the 14 girls I had planned to meet over the course of 4 days, 2 actually showed up (and both were late of course). An interesting note is that the dinner slot was always out at a restaurant (same for lunch) whilst all of the other slots were in my condo in Poblacion.

I had opportunity to spend few days in Makati last week. Landed in afternoon and ordered Grab from my local phone. Stayed in Makati Red Planet for under $40 a night. They have a great bar down stairs. Prices for food range from 200 p to 500 p. Drink and play some pool. Waitress are friendly well they are to me and looks are 7-8 not sure if can take out. Did not ask since I stayed in the hotel they work under I assume they can't go with the hotel's customer.
During my stay I hit most of the bars in burgos street. A walk down from the hotel is burgos street and Jools would be the one of the first bar you will see.
Jools: Nothing flashy but I walked in to check it out. They have a show that runs at certain times through the night. I bought one mix drink for about 200 p or 250 p and got approached by one girl so I got her a drink too. There was a mix of Filipina and Russian girls. One of the Russian had a great bod and face easy 9-10 for me personally not sure. The Filipina that sat with me did not try anything or make any offers. Mini report from a few weekends ago. Went by a few of the Burgos bars after watching some football. As noted on here, Kojax, Bottoms and Plan be seem to have the best girls. I personally prefer Bottoms as they're topless and a little more 'fun' from my experience, but as always, YMMV.
The bar fine was 3.9 k (negotiable down to 3.5 with a tip to mama, maybe more if you're a good bargainer) for the girl I took, a lovely lady by the name of Eureka. She was asking 4 k additional for long time. Whilst expensive, it was very much worth it in my opinion. We hung out until the sun was up at my apartment drinking in between romps, before passing out until around midday the next day, where she woke me up the best way possible before going on her way. I am curious too but I assume the Internet would yield better results, though I am have not used myself. I always ask about their family. I found them on Google. They give the best HJ ever and a decent legit back massage before the real fun begins. They have only 3 options, 4 hands 80 minutes, one girl 2 hours both for 2000 or onne girl 80 minutes for 1200.

You can also try the'SPAridice It is just south of Rizal avenue on and. Garciea. East side second building from the corner. Same 1200 massage and HJ, also have 300 option for body scrub and you can get them topless at least. Not quite the same quality as Abacca but not bad at all either. Not open 24 hours.
My usual clue on if it is our kind of place is the hours that it is open. If regular business hours only say 10 AM to 9 PM closed Sundays I don't try. If open 24 hours or until 3 AM it is worth a try.
