Being 1st time in Philippines or any southeast Asian country I was pretty nervous.
Stayed close to Burgos, so walked over there late at night.
Found Bottoms, and doorman let me in.
I was still early by normal standards (around 9 pm), so girls were like zombies with blank stares on stage not dancing at all.

Another good thing is that at that price point, there will only be a few mongers about and hence less competition. Many of the mongers will be Middle Eastern.
In AC, the business model is flawed and is heavily in favour of the girls. The upfront payment includes both the bar fine and the girls fee, hence Mr Monger has no bargaining power. They have a saying that translates to "king, father, teacher"; this is a metaphor for the succession of obligations that a Korean must follow.
Particularly for younger women, part of the deference they may show to you is related to your age. Both young Korean men and women when they enter into any new situation that is not well defined with known rules and norms, such as in a new country, will revert to the first rule--which is deference to seniority, i. e., us old people. I assume that part of the dynamic of young Koreans' short-term visits is to be immersed into an English-speaking educational setting. It's much cheaper, and the visa easier to get, than going to the states or countries of the British commonwealth. So the young women you are encountering are probably fairly "fresh off the boat" and still adhere to their own native tradition about seniority.
If you were in close contact with a particular young Korean woman, your age and seniority could be played to advantage, except that their tightly-knit social groups make them afraid that any misadventure will soon be known by all their associates.
In addition, Korean culture is exclusionary. I and others have posted in the forum about how Westerners are almost entirely excluded from the mongering clubs that are well known to Korean elites. FT.As others have said, there are several, though not from Texas that I know of. But there are loads of one-stop options, whether connecting in the US or elsewhere. A few times I have done LAX-NRT-MNL on Delta which is a smooth connection. They (and United, maybe American too) fly a bunch of planes from LAX, SEA, PDX, ORD, MSP etc to NRT which all arrive in the space of a couple of hours. Everybody does a switcheroo and a couple of hours later the planes continue on to BKK, MNL, HKG etc. It's pretty efficient, and NRT is swift and polite for security (no passport control for connecting, just X-ray of hand baggage and, IIRC, scan of yourself).
EastWest track is probably longer by 1-3,000 miles and 5 hours and beyond most planes. Though, with the way things are going internationally, the flights might get longer anyway. It is interesting who you meet while waiting for the various flights. Got lucky many times.

"The Big Three" (Emirates, Qatar and Etihad) all service the major East Asian cities on a eastbound route out of DFW or IAH, at prices somewhat lower than American or European carriers. I rode Qatar Airways to KUL last March for only $653.

That site I'll often include the LCC (low cost carriers) but not always. Into / out of clark I will often see options for Scoot and Cebu Pacific.
The options are growing for CRK.
Also another thing in your mix the road trip from MNL to AC can be used as just an extension of your flight. Sometimes it is harder to co-ordinate a trip to land into CRk where as once on the ground and in the car from MNL to AC you can be on the sites and texting. If you are also travelling on business then this time in the car can be the time to catch upon work emails form when you were out of contact.

Though the actual operators of the flights were Batik and Malindo. That's where things get complicated. But, also note that Skyscanner is not a consolidator, rather it is a "travel fare aggregator website and travel metasearch engine". Same goes for Momondo. The best use of these sites is to direct you to the consolidators for the best flights or better yet, the actual airlines when they have competitive fares on their own sites. But, you are correct to do all your homework to see what options the metasearch engines might not have looked at.

So some won have Air Asia or CPac for example.
I also see the carriers and check on that carrier web site to see if any promos IE cheaper fare (sometimes I get lucky). As you know I fly a lot and I do this all the time so am used to this and I find that 10 ins of searching I can find all I need.

Never thought of flying. I'll be making a visit to PG in a few months and will check out airfares back to Manila. When returning the bus can turn into a nightmare (traffic) so flying back would be pretty solid.

In terms of pure looks I agree 100% with your friend. But this place has some noticeable downsides. The girls are all wearing these fully covered scrubs. From my experience hands down hottest girls I found to be at EDSA, which opens at 7 pm. It's far from Makati which sucks. This is excluding KTVs which takeout may not be guaranteed. I think weekends the talent increases as well. I found Flight 168 (massage area next to AF1) to be pretty good too, but I be warned that the economy girls, while pretty ones can be found, usually have notable signs of mommy belly. But this time the only available rooms were the Aqua Suites and the Fiesta suites. I've stayed in the Fiesta rooms before. IMHO they are nice but not worth that much money. This is my first time at Field Plaza. I think it's a good option so far. A bit removed but not by much. Good sized and reasonable you priced.
After checking in I walked over and had lunch at Tequila Reef. Always a good go to spot for great tasting food at a fair price. Walking there you can't help but notice the changes going on. There is so much construction going on. Old buildings are removed and new towers of concrete going up. Erections (pun intended) of all types are all over this city. Let's see if that includes me later on. This is probably my 20th time in AC. There's something about it that draws me back.

Ignore me, Plan be was closed for one weekend. Just happened to be the weekend I was there.

So, after calling in excess of 25 hotels to try and find a room for the day, I finally managed to book in at the City Garden Premier in Makati.
Eventually got to sleep around 8 am, I woke mid-afternoon and learning that my flight had been cancelled again. After securing a flight for Monday I called one of my regulars and asked her to come reinvigorate me. It took me longer to get from the 22nd floor to the lobby than it did her to get from her place to my hotel. The lifts at this particular hotel may be the slowest vertical transportation ever devised by humans. Whilst the hotel is so-so, the lifts by themselves are a reason never to stay there.

I am used to BKK where it's very easy for girls to show up at the hotel, say who they are visiting, and the front desk will register their ID and send them up to the room (after calling first). It's not that I'm so lazy that I can't meet them downstairs, but it sure is convenient that way.

Please clarify this for me. So how do 100% of the girls I arrange to meet with show up? I ask 3 simple questions and filter accordingly.
Example. I meet a cute 23 year old on FC. We've been chatting for a few days, getting to know each other. I already have enough information to know if it's going to work because these are the questions I ask myself:
1) Is she close enough geographically?
Manila is a huge city with some of the worst traffic problems in Asia. If I'm staying in Makati, then chatting to girls who can't get to me within an hour is a total waste of time (yes there are some hotties in Cavite and Quezon City and Laguna and Antipolo, but if they travel at the wrong time it's 3 hours). You get the build up of a hot girl showing up to your door then the girl from ten years in the future comes along.I don't understand your question. Either you find her attractive enough to contact or the photos put you off and you don't.
FWIW, of course she has picked flattering photos. Any normal human being would. Typically I find girls drop 1 to 1. 5/10 in person vs their photos. That doesn't necessarily mean she's fraudulent.
