All would be very good and you won't be disappointed.You didn't mention five star New World Makati, which is actually connected to Greenbelt, and about a 30 second walk from the entrance. Being the Philippines, you might be disappointed. Especially if you're not used to third world conditions. For example, any taxi that comes to pick you up will be searched for a bomb. Wifi goes out a lot. Staff takes forever to do anything. Usual Philippines stuff, and frankly staying in a 5 star doesn't do much to eliminate it.

Even in the same building you can get a nicely furnished place or the exact same apartment with furniture that looks like a goodwill store rejected it.

As far as guests are concerned the host policy really does not matter as it is the guards that enforce the visitor policy of the building. Usually, as long as you are a resident or tenant you can sign in visitors. I stayed in many aibnb units in Jazz Residence in Makati and despite one having a strongly and firmly stated no guest policy, I had no issues walking past the guards with girls. Occasionally they would ask her to sign in, usually when they were unaccompanied but occasionally if I was bringing back 2 or at a time or they were dressed like working girls. Girls coming back the third or more time usually were able to just walk in the door, smile at the guard and proceed. Girls wearing normal street clothes were subjected to less hassle.

I had a lease at SM Light on EDSA, there the visitor policy is strict, you need a pass card to get in no exceptions, visitors needed to sign in and until they had been there several times a guard would come to my door and ask if I was expecting her. This was a block policy not an airbnb host policy.

Many hotel / condos have storage tanks on the roof that fill during the day, so there might be no disruption at all in the evenings when the water is shut off. It all depends on the hotel / condo.

Resto's in the area might be effected. Can't give you a glass of service water, or might not have fountain soda during the cutoff. They usually offer to sell you a bottled mineral water instead (interestingly making pesos off a product normally given away).

It's not like the Gogo's in Bangkok or Pattaya so set your expectations right. However there is something about the philipinas that makes them seem much warmer than their counterparts in other Asian countries, including Thailand. Plus there is the advantage of language. Those places are a 5-6 minute walk to Burgos, but there is a supermarket next to A-Venue, and a large street-food and live band area called Hott Asian Nights for cheap foods for you and your pinay nightly. Also nearby those places are Berjaya and City Grande hotels (sub-$100).

LAC can be good some evenings. But I was there 3 months ago and did not pull; it was a really bad selection that night. 4's - 5's at best. Some nights 6' - 7's will drop by but you need to be lucky or in the right spot to get them. Prices are still low. For the last few trips to Manila I've been based over in BGC and been so engaged in work that I've had little to write home about. Chur.That is current for Manila / Makati. The bar gets a 100% of the barfine (non inclusive). So you will have to pay the girl a whole separate amount. Angeles, the barfine covers the bar and the price with the girl (all inclusive).

Barfining a girl in Makati will cost you almost double what it is in Angeles.

Even doing that it was a 50-50 proposition that they would try to claim "damages".

I had a rental in Puerto Princesa once, the drove about 40 kms, outside of the city, and the clutch packed it in. They kept the damage deposit for the tow back to the city. If you rent from a major outlet the standard rental contract here includes that you pay recovery costs for breakdowns, even the major's do not adequately service and maintain their vehicles. (The company may pay for the maintenance but does it get done or just invoiced?

I will gladly pay twice or more than what Grab and taxi would cost to avoid all the hassles of driving a rental in this country, especially in a major city.

Chur.Seems right. Was there recently and most of the bars in that place was 4000 for barfine. Unless you buy the girls drinks then you cover the barfine after 10 rounds. So make sure if you are buying rounds it gets deducted off your barfine.

Fees for the girls vary, but paid 4000 for 12 hours (8 pm-8 am) for a girl from one of those bars.
