See the AC thread: it's amazing the number of times that guys buy multiple drinks and then get shitty when it does nothing to change girls' future attitudes to PSE, agreeing to barfine etc.
I've often said that AC, or even PI, does not withstand any objective comparison to Pattaya. Pattaya wins in nearly every way. Having said that, many still come for subjective reasons: familiarity, GFE, friends in town etc. I've never had an issue with guys spending their money wherever they see fit.

Extending your reference to Cebu, I find the average Thai more attractive than the average Pina. However, I didn't notice a big difference in looks around the various regions of Thailand. In PI if I don't like the Lyete and Samar spinners in AC, then it's not hard to find tall and stacked girls elsewhere. As an archipelago with '000's of islands, looks very widely around the PI. What ever a guy fancies will be available somewhere.

Hit a number of Burgos bars recently. Spoke with door girls, GRO, waitresses, and mamas. Got a confirmation in each bar of these prices (spoke to at least two different of the above positions in each bar to confirm barfine prices). Hit most of these places on at least 2 separate nights.

Having rum / coke there two nights after my initial visit (above), a waitress entered the VIP and when she opened the door I could see a fairly large room big enough for a party. Also on this night, the lineup of girls was very different: many more chubs. In addition to the VIP room, just next to the dance area, just to the left (facing the dancers) is a small booth area that is completely viewable from the dance stage, but very hidden from the rest of the customer seating area and bar. Great place to perv with your LD girl (tell her Westy sent you).
Second side note: How little you matter if you aren't a whale. My first night in Marquee, a mama and her girls surrounded my table (the only customer in the bar). V8: 3000 + tip (same as previously). Has a pole dancer perfom nightly (not bad). P150 per brew. Best barfine price on the strip. Great lineup of girls, period, and a fun atmosphere, lots of choreographed ass-shaking on stage.
Lips (upstairs): 3900 + tip (same as a few months ago and last year). Arrived just as the upstairs opened at 8 pm. About 15 cuties on tap with no chubettes. Coyote Ugly: Never was a gogo bar. Restaurant with pricey food and live band nightly, much like Cubana Cafe. The bands were usually good and plenty of customers before. But apparently not enough customers, it closed last month. Now sitting dark.
Cubana Cafe: Still up / running, most seats filled most nights. 2 bands most nights. Try the el Jefe burger or the cubano sandwich. Tell them Westy sent ya.
Bourbon: Previously an odd mix of live band, resto, and older GRO (late last year). I thought they'd dropped the GRO completely, but there are several older gals sitting at a table outside some nights (and not other nights). No idea how they are related to the business. Never see them inside or talking to gents. This place is now a gringo place. Mostly older white foreigners who bring their GF inside for band, booze and food. The bands play all 70's-80's gringo rock (B Jovi, Skynyrd, Journey, P Floyd, Queen). Was in 3 nights with my regulars, saw 3 bands, not a single pinoy song. Right down the street at Cubana you get a mix of songs from the bands.
O'Reilly's Pub (previously Rogues, upstairs): P3000 + tip, beer 150, LD 360. Quite the older crowd, including the GRO. Girls closer in age to 40 than 20. Did not see any GRO under the age of 30. Be prepared to be shocked at the fuglies. Saw only 2 'maybe' do-able early-30's girls. The mama surrounded me with half a dozen of Manila's fugliest and pressured me to buy them all a drink. Told her I would buy one of them a drink if she gave us privacy. Chose the least fugliest, only to hear her heart-breaking life story of one emergency / tragedy after another since birth. Avoid this place.
One Club (next door and downstairs to O'Reilly's). Did not bother getting data. Walked in on two nights and was fairly repulsed by the talent. At least half were chubs. Emergency egressed. As I have mild standards, it takes a LOT to make me turn and walk out after viewing the talent for just 10 seconds.
Caveat: Just like in AC, things change regularly in each bar. Girls come and go. Mamas change bars (taking their girls with them). You walk into a bar on Wednesday and are surrounded by 8 gals and a mama. You walk into the same bar Friday night and none of the 8 (and the mama) are working. There are about the same number of girls working both nights. Did the bar replace 1/3 of its girls in 48 hours?
Spending 30 minutes to several hours in this or that bar, never saw anyone barfine a girl. In fact, I saw relatively few paying customers, and whales were over-represented. That's muh Burgos info, and I'm sticking to it.

Interesting that WowWowWow / Occulto was one of the higher priced bars. It's a bit out of the way and pretty dingy inside. I'm assuming it still offers the curtained off booths?? If so, being one of the few with sex on site earns bonus points.
Fyre is obviously trying to differentiate itself as the place to be and priced accordingly. Interesting take in the old single / double drinks. I guess in some ways it makes sense: a beer takes much longer to drink than downing a shot. At least they were good enough to be upfront about it. At 880, I could see some arguments if guys weren't aware first.
I must say, Burgos has always been expensive but some of those prices represent very little change over even ten years ago. Most have seen the girls tip expectations go up a little but nothing compared to the price rises in AC, Subic and even any semi decent girl online.
For the newbies, remember that all these prices can be heavily negotiated down for a second meeting off the books. Take one for the team, pay list price, get her number, then meet again before work.

A few months later when I returned, I noticed that everything that had been remodeled had been removed, and a new remodel was underway (the current setup), and the conveyor was gone.

The 800+ PHP for a beer trick isn't new, Dimples has been doing it since not long after it opened. Always twice cost of normal lady drink in my experience so far. Intent is that girl sits and sips beer which takes a lot longer than downing a tequila / apple juice, she therefore sits with you longer and you get hassled less by serving girls for 'another drink'. Not a bad plan if you intend on spending some time there, but as you said, kick in the nuts compared to your 150 PHP beer.

Or, on a Saturday night all of the bars might be rocking customers, while Sunday evening sees the opposite. Similar things happen in AC.
BTW, I'm a fan to be in a bar with few customers and at least one whale. Watching the way the girls jump into instant party mode when the tequila shots show up can be exciting. The raunchiest stuff happens in that booth, usually instigated by the dozen or so girls crammed into the booth. I think its biggest problem is it doesn't know what it wants to be so they've done a half assed job between being a normal pub and one that provides girls. They'd have been better focusing on being one type of place. Girls are all on wrong side of 30, and fully clothed, but crowd round your table like it's a gogo hassling for LDs. I doubt I'll go back unless desperate. More places are open now that I enjoy going to, while we're not at pre-pandemic bar levels things are looking up.

After Maison I went to Lips and told a regular from Maison to meet me there. She was told she could not come inside but I went down to escort her in and security relented. I bought a couple of drinks "just for me" at the bar and told her to relax but she seemed fairly nervous about it. The rest of the place was pumping, no idea how this kind of thing can even be remotely enforced. As with many things in the Phils, regulations seem to be put in place simply to be ignored or challenge you to flout them.
In terms of a report, had a great time with my regular as usual, she is expensive (if no barfine, 8,000 PHP) but worth it IMHO. Fantastic ass and cute face, though she just got braces (why do they seem to always feel the need for that even when unnecessary? Methinks there might be a scam going on for the girls working at the bars.) Anyway I digress, best tip I can offer is that she introduced me to the best short time hotel I have come across, not the main Sogo but an annex next to it which seems to be operated by the same people but is essentially a residence, with much nicer rooms and better "amenities" (I. E. Towels, soap etc.) It's literally next door and a much better option if you don't mind paying 2,000 PHP for a full night stay.
Anyway, just a friendly note to all that some places will likely be closing earlier or not that friendly to guests over the next 3-4 days, but you'll still find options.

Monday's elections in Phils are for Barangay leaders. This might be considered the country's "Mid-term" elections, which are held between the larger presidential elections. I think city and Brgy leaders are elected every 3 years. On Friday as I was heading out the door for a walk at 6 am, there was a bundle of about 30 flyers, all packaged together, on my door. They were all for my Brgy's election candidates. In addition later on Saturday there were bunches of trucks running around the city, each with loudspeakers, blaring VOTE FOR JIMMY KAGAWAD! At one point Saturday morning as I was heading to the mall there were 4 such trucks at a street choke-point (the two lanes for traffic, one heading east and the other west, are normally down to 1 lane at that point), were further choked by 4 such trucks at that spot gumming up the traffic even more. All four trucks were blaring music, and VOTE FOR JIMMY KAGAWAD! Or such simultaneously. It took 15 extra minutes to get thru the choke point (and I was on a bike). Welcome to Philippines.

Pinoy can only physically vote, and must do so in their registered Brgy (usually the home Brgy). When they move away from home, they must re-register in the new Brgy. Most don't, so they travel home as a holiday over this weekend. Hence the weekend, the voting Monday, in addition to the Halloween time (All-Saints day, All-souls day), become an extended holiday.

I went into one yesterday, and one today, and was greeted in both by a single employee. I was told "Our people are gone for voting. You try back next Monday". Traffic is very light.

OTOH it was not asked for at Fersal Neptune hotel just 2 blocks away. There is no consistency in Phils. Even if its required by admin at your hotel / residence, the particular guard on duty may or may not be aware of that. They day shift guard might insist on it, while the evening shift guard might not be aware of it. In addition, a picture of your (or her) vax card on your phone might be good enough. Once again:
Call your residence Admin in advance, or ask after you check in, on their current policy. Don't believe stuff you read on the Internet (including here), as things change constantly.
The worse thing that can happen is that you might need to get a ST hotel.

A friend and I were on Burgos St. Last night; the first such sojourn for me in maybe 3 years. Given all that's been written here, I wanted to see Maison, more simply to understand some of the hype. I am a (much) older guy and during the last night of what had been a five day reunion with my friend from the US, I had no interest other than satisfying my curiosity. We went early, about 8 o'clock and while, in my judgment, most of the ladies were uninteresting there were a couple of standouts. Our age didn't seem to be a factor as we attracted interest immediately with 5-6 girls dropping by where we were seated. I noticed that the guy at an adjacent table—who appeared to be at least my age—was getting a handjob having bought a single ladies drink.
We had one persistent woman to told us both that her shift was over at 10 PM and she'the be willing to come and spend the night for Php3,000, or about $56. She told me that the bar fine is Php3,900 and that the additional charges were up to the girls, but that most expected Php5,000, which for me, who has lived in the country for two decades, seemed absurd. However, I've no idea if the mamasan was telling the truth or making it up as she went along.
Though the music was deafening and, to my ear, didn't actually qualify as music, I did appreciate the lack of hassle and hustle. No one begged for ladies drinks. The girls largely came over when asked aside from the aforementioned five or six who didn't wait for an invitation.
Having come off of two nights in Subic and another two in Angeles, I was not at all tempted, and perhaps would have been incapable. That said there were a couple of extremely pretty young women whom, in years gone by, I would have grabbed quickly.

Been scanning some videos of Burgos and came across one where the guy says many of the girls will only have fun in the bars but won't go home with you. Please tell me this isn't so. In AC there is no tip needed; in Burgos its required. Since this is the Makati thread, I will assume Burgos bars. Here is a piece of advice that should help in any bar: For any girl you are thinking of barfining, specify that you want ST (as that is your desire). No girl will complain about not having to spend the entire night and giving a morning pop with you. However, if in Burgos (not in AC), her agreeing to ST with you might NOT change her tip request amount. It might be gringo thinking that if she wants p5000 tip for LT (w /2 pops), that she should logically be willing to reduce that tip request to p3000 for a ST (w /1 pop). Pinay math is not your math. There is a strong girlie stigma about not departing the bar without the minimum agreed tip amount. Making such an argument with her in the bar will get you: Nowhere.
* The Burgos tip. You aren't required to pay it until she is ready to depart your place after the agreed-upon service (s). Usually this is in the morning. Total cost: p9650 (about $180 USD).

I can't believe I found it again. Don't know this creator but it's a story of a first timer going to a Burgos gogo bar. I rarely watch them (as I live here, and don't need advice, kinda seem to have something on the order of a well-oiled machine, much as described by FG recently in his description of his upcoming retirement plan). Usually when I do watch them, is when someone on the Board here brings the receipts and shows a link, or mentions a vlogger by username and I check it out.
Regarding this particular video, and the vlogger's account on YT: Chet's Stories (330 subscribers). Its a 5-minute vid (thank God, most of these vids are 10-25 minutes). In this particular case, the story on this video is about a newb American who comes to Phils, meets Chet by chance in a mall, asks Chet for help as the newb seems completely helpless, Chet condescendingly takes the newb under his wing for a night to help him out and show him the way, shows the newb around P Burgos, then in reality does NOT help the newb much, leaves the newb to the Burgos gogo bar girl sharks, and the newb gets ripped off for hundreds of $ (because Chet was not there to save the newb -- because Chet ran off and left the Newb with the gogo sharks after leading the newb to the gogo sharks).
Worse, just 30 seconds into this video I realized that something is off about this. The vid does not pass the sniff test. First clue: Chet's voice is not a real person, its an AI voice (there is captioning on the bottom of the screen, and some of the words are phonetically mis-spelled). Someone correct me if I am wrong. In fact, upon checking, other of Chet's videos are the same AI voice. The voice is translated from a typed script (which Chet provides, see below). The video is not Chet walking around with a cam on a selfie stick, chatting folk on the street. There is no street audio. The vid is someone walking Burgos with a camera, the cam audio has been completely muted, and the AI voice simply talks the entire time. We don't get to see Chet, nor the newb (Tommie, who, I believe, might not exist).
Second, the story seems to be contrived. I believe it an amalgam of every newb mistake ever made. The newb seems to have not bothered to read anything on the Internet about Phils, falls out of the "Newb-Idiot" tree, and hits every branch on the way down. He couldn't have been any dumber. There's even a bit in the video of Chet showing the newb to a Burgos bar where, downstairs, the girls are not GRO; they are sweet, and shower Chet and the newb with nothing but love. Then the newb decides to go upstairs to the GRO place, and Chet warns him of the dangers of the gogo bar girls. The newb goes upstairs to the GRO, and Chet leaves the newb to his own devices. The newb gets ripped off for hundreds of dollars (buying rounds of drinks for 10 GRO at a time). I ask: Where on Burgos is such an upstairs / downstairs place, with nice non-gogo ladies downstairs, and with gogo girls upstairs? The only upstairs places with GRO are Lollipop (downstairs is Nautica, with GRO) and Lips (downstairs are also GRO), and Blue Parrot has GRO upstairs and down.
While the basic storyline of newbs make mistakes (just look at my mistakes) is true, few people are as uninformed when they arrive as the newb described in this vid. Chet seems too altruistic and helpful. The voice is fake. The story is from a script (the script is literally pasted under the video on YT). But, feel free to watch it for yourself, and then share and tell me that I missed it completely.
I mention this because newbs watch these videos before they come, as they are hungry for local info on getting laid. If they believe vids like this, its easy to get scared off from Burgos or get the wrong impression of gogo bars. It gives the impression that you need to see this kind of video (and maybe others from Chet) in order to survive, when in fact this is not helpful. I plan to summarize and show some hypocrisy from some of these vloggers soon. Other's opinions on these kinds of vids are invited.

Time will tell I guess, the band was great though.
Moved on to Lips next, the little venture into Saloon meant we arrived later than normal and where we normally sit was occupied, so we sat on the left-hand side, rather than the right from when you walk in. Unfortunately, seats were knackered, we moved but new seats were just as bad. Unusually only had one drink here, the number of girls was down from the usual amount, and there were not as many stunners proportionally as other nights I've been in.
Next headed to Fyre as not been there for a long time. Some very good-looking girls were in, they had an unusal business model though of you having to sign for drinks before they bring them to you. I have never seen this before, and I've been in here before and waited 15 minutes for a drink. I asked that they bring drinks, then I'll sign, same as every other bar, it caused bit of fuss and she had to ask permission, and instead, they billed us out on the round. Fyre is one of the weirdest bars on Burgos as they appear to be doing everything in a different way from other bars, drinks were also the most expensive beers of the night.
Decided to give Par Avion a try as have never been in there. Some girls were outside, they were real lookers and offered to escort us upstairs, I thought things were looking up on what had been a bit of a dreary night so far. They instead tried to get us to go in Lolipop, but we pressed ahead and went up the extra flight of stairs, turned out to be a bit of a mistake, but made worse ones. Par Avion is not really a gogo, it is a fairly small single-room bar, pool table was good and had a couple of games, not played for ages so was good to give balls a smack.
Finally, we headed over to Maison, and the evening was rescued. My favourite girl was back and she was keen to make it up after not seeing her for a long time. Got in the good seats, she got naked, squirted a fair bit, then did some excellent sucking. Let the good times roll.

Longer story, or actually let's do my Makati review. It is my first time in PH and tbh, the flight was a little rougher on me than I thought, so first 1-2 days I took it easier. Usually in that kinda case I try find a MP that doesn't mind doing a little something something. Walking around Makati (Burgos area) there don't seem to be many, and most don't scream like they have options available. Did end up finding one that looked interesting enough. The basic price was like 1 k for 1 HR and as expected options were available, however HJ 1 k, BJ 2 k incl her undress. But nothing else. So was a little dissapointing, considering there wasn't going to happen much else I chose the HJ and that was it. Not the best choice maybe but ok for me at the time.

She ended up staying LT with me too, and well a long LT actually. I wasn't in a rush in the morning and she really enjoyed the normal bed apperantly she left around 1 pm. Sleeping most of it, well she did initiate something fun in the morning too was a nice wake up haha and all really like felt natural so ye good service!. But I do think this is a rare rare gem. Wanted to pick her up but she was gone rest of the month. And by from what I understand she hops between cities.

Burgos report. Spent 3 weeks there recently, prior to the blessed Christmas. As we got to the 5-6 days prior to noche buena (NB), things thinned out. Traffic got lighter all-around, foot traffic on Burgos (customers) thinned out, and gogo girl numbers started to slowly drop (from the normal 100%, down to about 60% on NB). I only hit a few bars for a drink or two for perving purposes. Most nights I didn't hit the bars, and on nights where I did go hopping, it was 2 drinks in one bar, or 1-2 drink each two bars (an hour and out).
Street action. Moving towards NB, the number of girls of all looks (hot-to-not), ages, skank rating (to include tatoos and missing teeth), and bakla increased nightly. The night before NB is typically one of the largest numbers of girls, while typically the smallest number of fellas. The desperation increased, and while I didn't get an initial-price drop, I quickly got counter-offers of big price drops. For instance if a girl said p3000 initially, and I countered with 1000, she'd counter with 1500 (skipping 2500 and 2000). It was easy pickin's at the time.
Bars report. Bourbon is completely out of the chica business. It is a full-on live band resto / bar, same as Cubana Cafe. A marquee outside lists the bands for each night of the week. Clientelle is almost completely made up, at any given table, of 1 or more foreigners there with either his pinay asawa, or tonight's date (tinder, gogo girl, etc). I went in several times with a girl for food and drink, and only 1 time was there another customer there younger than me. Also I didn't hear any songs in Filipino. Bands were pretty good, its classic rock. The place is fairly full by 9 pm (its possible that the geriatric crowd must be in bed by 11 pm). Rum / coke was p380, beer 160.
Alibi (next door to the old Mixed Nuts, in the direction of the old Jools). Previously a gogo bar, was remodeled late last year. Where previously was a dancing stage with 3 stripper poles, the poles are gone and the stage houses disco and loudspeakers for live band. Several nights a week is live band, otherwise disco. I poked my head in most nights just to see what was happening. When the disco guy on stage was going great guns, there were no customers. When there was live band, there were either no customers, or 2-3 customers. I stopped in several times with a date or alone to listen to the band. Its classic rock, and when there are other customers there its mostly grey haired gringos. One evening there it appered to be an older all-gringo band. The singer had a really good voice. He was joined on stage a bit later by another old gringo singer. They were very talented. Surprised its still in biz given the low number of customers. Beer p150 (+15 service charge = 165). Bottle water p100.
Par Avion / Nautica. The only bar with 2 names, and nobody working there can explain why. 14 girls, 22 girls, and about 20 girls another night (different nights). On the night with 14 girls, there were 10 spinners and 4 chubs. Only 1 chub was booby, the other 3 were flatties with junk in all the other wrong places. Of the spinners, all were flatties with tight flat tummies and good asses. All were aged 30 or less and I would have done any of the spinners. P350 for rum / coke, p160 for beer.
Champaigne bar. New bar / old bar. It replaces the defunct Amore bar on Ebro St. It is just 30 meters away from both Lokal hostel and Alley 8 on Ebro. It is directly behind Fyre bar on Burgos. The old Amore was Japanese owned / themed, with a p7000 barfine and rarely saw any girls dancing on stage (or in bikinis, GRO were often fully clothed). The new Champaigne has the same layout inside, but on stage now are more GRO dancers in bikinis and skin-showing outfits. Barfine p3900. Beer p160. The gogo dancers were a complete range of chub to hot.
V8, only 1 visit. 17 girls, 6 of them on stage (the rest: a few with customers for LD, the rest congregated in front of the stage area sitting around). Good atmosphere. Of the 15 girls, 13 were yes girls for me. The remaining two gals had good bods, but something about their faces said NO. Its a butt-load of great asses. P380 for rum / coke.

Not sure how they are interlinked, but you can definitely take girls from Nautika to Lollipop if you want to. Only been in Par Avion once, it was not a Gogo.

1/. My face is known in the bar.
2/. Occasionally, my target will ask other girls, who I have taken before, for a reference check.
3/. I don't speak tagalog nor bisaya but elsewhere, I can use the local language so as soon as I open my mouth it's clear that I've played the game before.
4/. In the bar, I'm not afraid to spend a few bucks to have a good time. Again, it's obvious that I know the game and am not going to suddenly expect her to be a freebie.
This also applies online where many girls don't want to be labelled but won't refuse a "gift" when leaving.

Bourbon New Orleans.Yes, and no. Almost all of the foreigners there are white, and they are rarely without their asawa. Keeping some pinoy foods on the menu, especially pulutans (snacks, or smaller-portion standard foods like sisig, chicken skin, french fries) for the pinoy segment. But yes, beefing up the western items might be a great idea (especially seafood). Why not? Cubana cafe has a large eclectic menu.

I forgot to mention Alley 8 hotel has a resto / bar next door. Think its called Vice (location Durban St corner Ebro St). Has live band nightly, booze and pulutans. Think my rum / coke was p150. The pic shows an old Google map pic from Covid times. The site has been under construction where the arrow is, and is clean and well-run.
Shooters restobar is back in biz. Its the resto at the base of Red Planet hotel in Makati. Some pics from the outside, including menu items. Still has pool tables.

All of those have acceptable girls (and some less so). You just need one girl. In the first bar you go into, buy the mama a drink and tell her exactly what you're looking for. She will point out several girls who can fulfill you desires. You could be out of the bar in 15 minutes on the way to your hotel (or the short-time Sogo around the corner). Cost for the LT: About $200 USD. This type of pull-the-trigger barfine can be fast. A lot of gents prefer the slow-perv bar crawl thru the night, which is fun and builds anticipation, but isn't necessary.

2) Stay at Royal Belagio, the hotel above Cubana Cafe, for the promo price.
3) Champaigne gogo bar, on Ebro St (across the street from The Social and Cabrones Latino restos). Last year I reported this gogo (had a different name) as Japanese-owned, with barfines of p7000. Now its back to a normal gogo bar, barfine p3900. About a dozen girls of all shapes, half of them shaking it on a raised stage. Some foreigner had two skinnies in his dark booth, drinks all over his table, and he was hands-ing them up pretty well. You go, geezer!
4) Tiabuela resto / bar, Burgos corner Kalayaan, the restaurant for 1898 hotel. Large varied Spanish menu, meal + coffee or beer would run p400-800 (similar to Filling Station). Classy looking joint, good food.
5) Stay at the Ritz Astor hotel, next door to Dimples bar, for the promo price.
6) Vice resto / bar, as previously reported by me, open for biz. Live band most evenings. Located next door to Alley 8 apartments, Durban St corner Ebro St. Its upstairs / downstairs, indoor and outdoor.
7) Luffy resto / bar and pool hall. Polaris St at the intersection of Badajos St (near Lips gogo bar and Bel-Air Soho condo). Extensive menu and wet bar, and 7 pool tables. Open 24 hours.

One thing that I have learnt is that while BBFS is universal, CIP is not. If that is a deal breaker then it should be pre agreed and if promises are made, it's wise for the guys to keep them. I've seen girls understandably get VERY angry after "accidents".
I'd agree that Tinder can be a lot of work. Mainly sorting the players from those with serous intent and realistic pricing expectations. Some very pretty girls but you pay for it both from $$$ and effort stand points.
It's possible for girls to be many hours away and still be in Manila or Cebu. Remember that Cebu is a city, an island, and a whole province. A girl in "Cebu" could be nine minutes or nine hours away. The secret is to pick your hotel wisely. You want to stay somewhere that girls recognise easily, is a transport hub, and has girls in the area when you want to play. My favourites are Ayala in Cebu and Greenbelt, Makati in Manila. Obviously NEVER agree to go somewhere and wait for a philippina. "Call me when your here and I'll come down and meet you" is much more productive. Girls will be late so expect it. Getting stuck in traffic for 30 or 60 minutes is totally reasonable.

Long time monger, first time poster. Recently spent a couple of days barhopping in Manilla (Makati by P Burgos) with a ladyfriend. Normally go to Angeles walking street and this time brought Angeles with me to Manilla. Flew into Manilla Sunday morning and ladyfriend met me there.
Long story short, enjoyed my time in Makati. Stayed at city garden grand hotel, no complaints, would recommend, rooftop especially at sunset for drinks.
Mainly stayed on P Burgos as it was close to hotel, enjoyed Neon Lights and Lolipop bars. Some nice looking and slimmer girls at Neon, but all clearly experienced and know what they're doing. Lolipop much smaller atmosphere, girls not as attractive but more fun to sit down and drink with. Overall, prices definitely much higher than Angeles, separate barfine to the bar, and each girl has their own price you pay separately. Lady drinks also slightly more expensive. Enjoyed playing pool at the 3rd floor place above Lolipop as well as the first bar directly across the street on Kalayaan Ave.
Good korean food options nearby on Don Pedro st, my favorite meal entire trip was at a small Korean restaurant called Jumong Korean, highly recommended.

I have been down Burgos in the day when running other errands. On Saturday some of bars are open early afternoon, and some do not open until early evening. On Sunday I have seen bars open in the morning, but I think they may simply still be open from the night before.
Never been in the bars during the day so cannot comment on the quality of girls available inside.

Since you didn't qualify what level of looks that you want, I will assume that you are fine with anything. A better idea might be to pre-arrange on an escort website. Or alternately taxi to LA Cafe in Malate, find a FL honey, and hit the ST hotel next door for a few hours and get your rocks off. So with not much time to spare I went back to the City Garden hotel and asked the door guy if he knew of any pretty girls. Within 5 minutes I was shown a facebook profile of a girl who could be here within half an hour. So up to my room I went and waited for the knock knock. Sure, Ashley was slightly chunky but we had an amazing shower and she had muscles down there that were superb, not to mention her oral skills. I paid Ashley 3500 peso and I tipped the door guy 200 pesos. I think I'll try this tact more often as the girl and the door guy benefit and the 'house' doesn't soak up the rest of your cash for just providing a service, let alone the fruit juice lady drinks rip-off. Additionally the front desk called me when she arrived to make sure everything was legit and they also called me when she was back downstairs afterwards to make sure she was able to leave. I think it depends on the day. I have been down Burgos in the day when running other errands. On Saturday some of bars are open early afternoon, and some do not open until early evening. On Sunday I have seen bars open in the morning, but I think they may simply still be open from the night before.

I was in Makati last Friday and Saturday. Booked City Garden Grand hotel, otherwise OK but the slow elevators are a nightmare. Visited quite a few bars on Burgos Fri and Sat nights. Here is my verdict in random order:
- Lips: This was the first bar I stepped in. Played a few rounds of pool downstairs. A few ladies dancing. Nobody stood out. Upstairs had much more ladies. Something for every taste. A few really nice slim ones. Had a drink with a petite cutie but did not barfine due to jet lag.
- Maison: Not as many bargirls as in Lips and not so attractive. Friendly girls though. Bought a drink to a happy small one.

- Neon Nights: This place is a dance club more than a gogo bar. Visited briefly, not my cup of tea.

- V8: This was the best place for me. Nice club interior, pretty young working girls and friendly bar staff. I have made many trips to the island pre-covid and had a few question's:
1) makati hotels like City Garden Grand detail you can have 1 guest.... My hotels in the past never detailed a limit or joiner fee. Is this a new post covid fee most hotels have now? All hotels are limiting Just sucks to take a girl back to the room afternoon for a legit or non legit pre-evening back/full body massage and that be counted as a "guest", then perhaps be charged for the next few 1-2 friends for the evening.

Everywhere else, the girl will not get paid until she has completed service as agreed.
Pleasant surprises still happen and often from the most unlikely areas.

Mixed it up a little and went out on a Friday for a post-work session rather than waiting until the Saturday. Now when I'm in Makati I just have a word to the hotel security guys. I just returned after 4 days visit to makati. I had a totally different type of fun than I had experienced in other places like Dubai or Batam or Singapore. The ecosystem around P Burgos has literally two types of lives -- one at day and another at night until 7 AM. Here are some of my observations:
Stay: Stayed in City Garden Grand. Booked a room with a view to the city. Its a great place to stay -- clean, well maintained, and an amazing rooftop. I could take girls up without having to do registrations. Only if the girl comes up by herself, does the hotel require registrations.
Types of Experiences: Makati seems to have something for everyone. One can be alone watching girls and just drink; one can be sitting with a girl having conversations; one can sit with multiple girls and cuddle up to them and have your manhood stoked; one can dance with girls; one can barfine girls to the room; one can be friendly with girls and meet them during the day for a coffee or lunch or snacks; one can watch nude shows; live porn shoes in the next table; or massages if one wants. There is a KTV style club too with tonnes of girls (I didn't spend much time).
Timing: I see clubs with activities until 4 AM or 7 AM in the morning. Secret door was a great spot to hang out with girls who either come in there or take girls to have a drink. Spent time with 3 girls at secret door 2 from a club and one of their old mamas.
Clubs that don't find a mention: There are some clubs that don't find a mention here and has some good girls (few good ones) that I liked -- Iron horse; l2; v8. Yes I saw them too. Some of these are not busy nor have many girls. One could be lucky to see one or two 7's or 8's or even 9's. I popped in many of the bars along the right side of the road (if cafe cubana is to your left). Even marquee doesn't have many customers. Spent a week in the big smoke recently. Just a bit of gogo reporting here; mostly a bar / resto guide.
Pic 1. The new Octopus bar. Location: Burgos, where the old Jools and Horizon was previously, and across from Oculto bar (previously WowWow). Downstairs is a regular open-air bar, looks upscale, open nightly. Upstairs is disco-type, open Thursday thru Sunday.
Pics 2-3. The new Bottoms bar. Location: Nestled betwixt Fyre and V8 bars. Went in for a cold brew and to check it out. Waitresses dress a bit like the old Playboy Bunny waitresses. About 15 girls, 2 on stage. In terms of looks, no different than the other bars. Pair of cuties came over to talk. One was 24 and the other 19 (very cute). The 19 yo didn't talk much. Pic 1. The new Octopus bar. Location: Burgos, where the old Jools and Horizon was previously, and across from Oculto bar (previously WowWow). Downstairs is a regular open-air bar, looks upscale, open nightly. Upstairs is disco-type, open Thursday thru Sunday.
Pics 2-3. The new Bottoms bar. Location: Nestled betwixt Fyre and V8 bars. Went in for a cold brew and to check it out. Waitresses dress a bit like the old Playboy Bunny waitresses. About 15 girls, 2 on stage. In terms of looks, no different than the other bars. Pair of cuties came over to talk. One was 24 and the other 19 (very cute). The 19 yo didn't talk much. The older gal said the younger was brand new. The younger, 4' 9" in heels, 75 lbs, and HUGE fake eyelashes, mostly stared at me and bat her eyelashes. Fair 'nuff. I bought her a drink and shooed the other one away. I called the mama over to ask the barfine amount (3900). The tiny thing's drink came, and she downed the tequila shot in one gulp. Her engrish was crappy and we stared at the stage dancers for about 10 seconds. She jumped off the chair and said: "I go". And off she went. My drink: p160. LD: p320. One and out.
Just guessing, that like Dimples and Plan B, Bottoms has new location, ownership, mamas, and girls. And like the others, hence is not the party place that it was pre-covid. Time will tell.
Pics 4-8. Korean Chicken resto, nestled between Citadel and Cheers bar -- Cheers now known as Garrison bar; was it Garrison before? Menus attached. They run a daily special of 3 pcs chicken + 3 beers. Tried it and the chicken is worth writing home about.Wow. I see the Happy Hour sign. 10 am to 7 pm that's good news. Hopefully this will catch on to other bars as I always enjoyed the Go's Go's in the afternoon. Pre COVID was fun with the afternoon drink prices and barfines. Be nice if that would return.

I've been on Telegram a lot, filtering out walkers. I go for the no DP (no down-payment) girls to avoid being scammed.

All in all, Makati is less. If one is doing online dating, Manila is great just due to sheer numbers as compared to Angeles etc.

I've got a lot of contacts in my phone now as I'm always only in Manila and Makati the day I arrive in the Phils for business and on the day before my flight out. I'm a bit over the whole bar scene, lady drinks, bar fines etc. I prefer the girls to get bulk of the cash and to form a 'friendship' with them from my hotel room. It is more personable and it cuts out 'the middle man' . I'm happy and the girl's happy. Just my preference.
