>>The rates of P6,000 - 12,000 are for Top-of-the-line girls and are not a rip-off by any standards. A rip-off is when you got cheated or got bad value for your money. With these places you know the prices up front, and your selection of pretty club girls. They are by no means cheap. In fact, these are EXPENSIVE.

How would feel if you can get Cindy Crawford or Cathy Ireland or a supermodel level beauty for US$1,000 a night in the USA. Expensive, but worth it, if you can afford it. YOU CAN, probably just not everyday, but at least once a year, on your birthday, you can treat yourself to this.<<

Sorry to take so long to get back on this point Genuis8, I guess you are right in what you say and top of the line is expensive. If you have the cash to splash, then go for it! :-)

I'll be in Manila next week and plan to try out JR and his service, will report back when I get home on how I get on!

If he is reliable, maybe we should introduce him to email. That way he can develop a customer base, send pictures and bios of the girls. He can even arrange for pickup at the Airport with the honey of your choice. If he starts getting more and more clients, maybe he can reduce his prices. Volume, Volume, Volume..........Just a thought!!!!!!!!!!!!

Datamater out..............................

Now that sounds like a great idea - Jay R collecting you at the airport with the cutie of your choice in his taxi ready for action as soon as you hit your hotel!

Just got back from the Philippines and I recommend Stardust near the airport. The girls were pretty and gave a good massage, all for less than $50. Also, I was able to get service from about 7 different providers and I didn't pay more than a total of $200. Where in the US can you do that? The problem with goin to the RP is the airplane ticket cost, however, after landing, everything is so much cheaper.

As far as expanding Jay R's capabilities I believe they're already at optimal.

We've got to keep in mind that this is already a grey area as far as legal goes :)

Oh by the way, I'd like to vent on a couple of Chinese nationals who got Jay R's number from this website and used him to pick them up from the airport and as a guide to various hotels and DID NOT PAY HIM!! What the hell were you people thinking? You waste a nice guy's time, gas, car and then ditch him!?

You're so lucky I wasn't in town when this occurred or I'd have the Councilman of Makati bring you into his office to lean on your arses!

Needless to say, everyone else who has used Jay R from this website has gotten thumbs up from him.

Due to the experience he had with those Chinese nationals, I've asked him to make sure he gets reimbursed prior to separating from his guest per meeting, which is only right IMHO.

NOW WITH ALL THAT SAID AND DONE :) If you would like a pick up from the airport from Jay R wherein there just happens to coincidentally be a couple of females in the car riding with him upon your arrival I'm sure that can be arranged - Text or Call him at his cell

thanks for you input. You have been most helpful.

Although I must say I wont be going to any of the Pasay clubs anymore. I used to go there years ago, but, lately, the Momasan's simply rip me off. 600P for a cover, another 900P for 1 hour to talk w/ a girl, and 4,000P for a private room? That's ridiculous. I'm a nice guy, and speak Tagalog, and tried to get her to bring the prices down, but, no luck. And I was the only white guy there. I know the Filipinos aren't paying anywhere near those prices. And many times the girls on stage don't even go topless anymore. Oh well.....enough said, just my opinion...cheers.

Do you happen to know if any of Jay R's girls actually know how to give a legitimate massage?
So, often is it hard to find a girl who can entertain and give a good massage.
thanks again

Does any of you got info on chinese or russian hookers plying in metro manila? Is this an urban legend? I'm bored with pinays already and I'm looking for a different experience

As far as Chinese/Russian prostis go, I know that in the Binondo district there are Chinese massage parlors ..they are inside the buildings and do not advertise openly. The reason for this is they mostly cater to the Chinese community, but if you can find them then money talks obviously just like most things in Manila. Best bet is to go to Binondo and ask the local merchants or taxi drivers.

As far as Russian girls, keep in mind that the economies of most Eastern European countries are worse than the Philippines - sad but true :) So if you happen to see women who look Eastern Euro, strike up a conversation and if she's not a student then she is probably on a tourist visa trying to make some money in Manila. I've seen some hanging around the bars of hotels in the Glorietta Mall area in Makati.

For anyone looking for a decent priced massage, do try Starfleet ..as I've said around 3-4k total will get you a decent thai massage with extra service in one of their Presidential Suites.

I live in South Korea. I frequent the Songton bar district outside of Osan AB. There are plenty of Russian hooks here. The going rental fee is anywhere between $100 and $200 depending on day of the week and your bargaing skills with mamasan.

Thanks for the advise but I've been looking for chinese girls in the binondo area for years now and I had no luck. Do you have personal experience on this? All the massage parlors I know in that area have pinay attendants.

Just got back from the Philippines. This is my second time to meet Jay R. He is a busy guy. I am so disappear for his service. The girls from Jay R, the price is good about P2500-P3000. The girl is not good, just around 4-7. So I went to the "firehouse". The price is OK. Bar fine P1000, one Q P2000 and one night P3000. But the girls were better around 7-9.

GROpapa

Rayii

What type of girls do you think are 7-9? The exotic or the mestiza ones?

If you were there during Feb and early March, we did keep Jay R very busy since there were four of us in my group and I knew he was also handling a couple more on the side ---

I had to reject the first batch of girls he brought once, but took from the second batch ...my tastes differ as sometimes I like what I call jungle bunnies, these are the dark "exotic" types with cute face, flat nose, nice bodies - call it the American in me I do love to get rough with these dark tanned types from time to time.

I also prefer the chinese and spanish mestiza girls with sharp features and slanted eyes, this is where the Filipino in me steps in.

The good thing about Jay R is, if you're not into his girls that's just part of his service anyhow ..he is also a recognized Metro Manila bar guide at most KTVs and bars in Makati, Pasay and QC so eventually even if you don't get the girl from him he'll guide you to one.

I'm not particularly fond of the Burgos scene, I'd rather go into Cubao and Bulacan where the locals dwell and where you have to watch your six :)

Let's not forget those who are willing to spend some cash... Most actresses/models in Manila are available for 20K pesos. They spend time with you - absolutely no rush. Very clean. I slept with Patricia Javier on a past trip. Definitely worth it! Of course, pimps are involved...

Assunta de Rossi is also available, not to mention Diana Zubiri, Maui Taylor, and Aubrey Miles. Most are around 20K pesos.

Just got back from PI and wanted to share my experience:

1st day of Mongering:
after flying for 15hours with hardly any sleep, my friends brought me to Classmate. (We first stopped at Lexus but the selection was not that great). The girls at Classmates were a lot better than Lexus. We got the VIP room w/ Karaoke. We stayed for about 4 hours. Nothing fantastic happened here. Cannot bar fine any of the girls. I was very disappointed.

Girls: 7 – 8
Cost: 20k for 4 people

2nd day of Mongering:
My other cousin took me to Bartolina in Cubao. You need to know someone who knows the area to get to this place. Even my cousin took some time finding it. This place had the most strict t security I’ve ever experienced during my stay. The selection of women range between 5 – 8. Hired this gir who’s about 18 years old. She about a 7.5 but with great set of teeth, of course. They serve drinks to women at around 650P. This lets you talk to them for 45 mins. FM told me that I could take them to the VIP room for 1700P/hr. I thought that it’s a little bit much to pay for that amount even though it’s about $35. She said that I could pretty much do anything I want. Well, in that case I went ahead and took the VIP room.

Performance: Excellent. Great BBBJ.
Cost : approx 5000P. (2 people)

3rd day of Mongering:
Tried to get the cavalry so I called JR. I called him at 9pm and told him my intention. I asked for a beautiful girl. I don’t care much for the shade of her skin as long as she has perfect teeth (fetish). Had to wait for 2 hours before he was able to deliver. It turned out that the girls he had in mind lived with her aunt, therefore making it difficult for her to leave her house. She had to wait for her aunt to go to bed and bail out through their back window. According to JR, this girl was in need of money to pay her tuition, and was her first time in doing this. She’s around 20 years old, morena skin and very big round eyes. JR dropped her off at Padi’s Point where I was waiting. We had a couple of beers and went and got a room.
Performance:
Great BBBJ for a first timer. She spent about 15 minutes down there. However, since she was on an egg timer ( remember her aunt is oblivious on all of this) she had to back home before she wakes up. I hate being hurried so I told her to just leave. Disappointed but thought I still have a week to go. Called JR and told him about my experience. Promised to make it up to me tomorrow.

Performance: 3 - although great BBBJ
Cost: 3k

4th day of Mongering:
Hired JR again. He took me to the Makati/ Roxas Blvd. First Stop was at the Burgos Dormitories. I visited three dormitories and did not like what I see. So JR decided to take me to the KTV’s.
East Asia: not a whole lot of selections there. Saw a couple of cuties. Remembered there assigned numbers and moved on.
Infiniti: Mamasan opened the curtain and I was overwhelmed by the number of girls to choose from. I think there were about 70 of them.
WHOAAAA!!!!! Saw this beautiful girl. She about 19 years old. 5’5”. Beautiful set of teeth. She was a little bit timid. Barfine=8k.

Performance: 9
Cost: 8k
Spent about 30mins working on the little one, so much for being timid. She worked on me like she was on a mission. GFE experience all the way. I had a little bit to drink so it took me a while, but I did.
Side note: one thing I like about these girls is that they have great hygiene. They take showers before the session.

5th and 6th day of Mongering:
The girl from Infiniti sent me a text messege and just wanted to hang. Why not! So for the next 2 day she was with me. Cost to me = 0. I had to pay for food and misc. stuff but she did not charge me for her companionship. Although at the end of the third day I tipped her some monies.

7th day of Mongering:
Girl from Bartolina sent me a text message and wanted to get together. It’s about 3am and I’m some friends of mine. So I dumped my friends and told them that I have more important things to do.

Performance: so much better compared when we were in the VIP room.
Cost: 0

Final thoughts:
Overall, mongering is really great in PI if you know the place. Prices could very depending on your experience and fluency with the Tagalog language. All women speak good English. However, this is not their main form of communication so if you want value added service, it helps to learn to speak the language. JR is a good pimp since he knows where to find good-looking women. It will cost you additional dough for his service but he is trustworthy. However, if you have cousins/friends who live locally and have time to tour you around at night, then you’ll be able to save 1-2k. All girls I’ve dated all gave me GFE experience. Not one of them asked for money before we did the deed. This is very important to me. It has been my experience to pay after the service is done. This makes them perform better since they have to work for it. Although I’m not really sure with these filipina girls if paying them before the deed would affect their service. Comparing them with the workingwomen here than the states, I feel that they are less jaded and more accommodating.

Although these are working women and not the type you’ll introduce to mama or papa, I think it is important to be a gentleman. When I say gentleman, I mean to treat them with respect. I think if you treat them with respect you’ll GFE experience would be enhanced. It worked for me!

Thank you to all people who have contributed to this board.
My next stop is in South America. Anyone who is interested to monger together, send me an e-mail nortelsystems2k@yahoo.com.

I really cannot belive the amounts you guys are paying these girls. I can accept film star prices, but ordinary girls being paid 5000-10,000 is nonsense.
First you are ruining the market for others,
Secondly you are being ripped off.
I know that because I pay nothing like that for girls that really turn heads.
This week, one WSG messager from Cebu explained how he got great girls fo nothing every day. Clearly a man with imagination and a brain on his head. Try chatting before you get to Phls and line them up! Otherwise just smile and talk to girls you meet in the Phils., shops, hotels staff, restaurants, Jollybee customers - it really is soooo easy, they all dream of getting out of the Philippines.

FYI -

Some of these girls don't mind to do three-some. The girl from Infinity that I was with for a couple of days (see report below) showed me around to some of the clubs she used to work. We stayed at stardust and watched their show. She would give me info on each girl that would go on stage.. .how old she is, how long she's been in the business, where they used to work, and so on and so forth. Then after an hour of watching she asked me if I wanted to have three some with her and another girl. Wow! I said no (what was I thinking!). Actually, I am just getting started with this hobby so I thought I'd take things little by little. Mind you that this girl I’m with is a 9 in my books, so I wasn't really looking for her replacement, yet.

Hey Santa glad you had a good time on your vacation.

I'm sure JR told ya that we were in town during the time you were, I asked him on the days I wasn't banging chicks what you were up to but he said you had a girl already or your with relatives.

Your experience in Manila and my barkada's is pretty similar.

Personally I was busy with some girls from Infiniti and Athena that I hooked up with through their coworkers, food and drinks expense for free popoy. Aren't those Infiniti chicks off the hook?! :)

I also went to Bartolina and banged MaryRose in VIP, my buddy's aunt is a manager at that place. A couple of days later Sunshine brought a couple of girls to our place to swim in the pool and I had some free action from that too.

I'm heading back to Pinas for a few months, doesn't look like I can hunt in South America this year although that new Snoop video's getting me psyched up! I love the chicks in that video geezus

GPOPS,

Yeah, JR mentioned that you and your friends were in town. Wanted to hang with you guys but circumstances made it difficult for me. Anyway, I'll be back to PI next year (that's after I try the BA delicacies). PI has been a blast for me. The women are just too BAADDD. Even the non-pros are getting a liitle bit as aggressive as the GROs. I wanted to go back there ASAP however my cousin wanted to try BA.

If you or Ilongo_boy change your mind about going BA, let me know. This is my first time going to BA so it would be a learning curve for me. I plan to be there between June and August.

Be sure to post you rendezvous when you get back to PI, you dawg!

I think you got your prices and info wrong. Maui Taylor's current is P300,000. Assunta De Rossi is married to a PI congressman. I dont know when you slept with Patricia Javier or how much you paid ... so no comment on this. Definitely your mentioned names are NOT available for P20,000. Multiply that by 10 or 15 and it is possible.

Not a bad price if you just want the prestige of having a movie star on your list. Also if you are rich and have a lot of chips, $5000 could be just small change for you and this could be a well deserved lay.

But most of these Filipina movie stars either grew up in the US and/or are hybrids (either Caucasian father and Filipina mother or vice versa). You can find a lot of the same looks and caliber if you just hang out in the dance clubs in California USA (mostly in Los angeles, Bay Area, or San Diego Area). And if you're lucky you may be able to get some for free!

But then again, you'll find that a lot of these filipina girls in the US have a stuck-up attitude and you would have to be a young stud or mega-rich to get their attention. When they go back to PI and become movie stars, they demand exorbitant prices!

UNFREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!

One weekend in Manila. Stayed at the Lotus Garden Hotel cor. Mabini and Padre Faura. Clean rooms at PHP1,250 which at current exchange rate of 52 is US$24.

Out of the hotel, turn right on Fadre Faura and left on M.H. Del Pilar and the LA Cafe is just 8 mins walk. Good thing about this place it is open 24 hours so always some women around. Decided I would go with the first one to grab me which happened to be Marilyn, 30 yrs. An important reminder that a lot of fat can be squeezed into jeans. However I liked her because she was real freelance, no make up, no handbag, no jewellery. just the clothes she was wearing.

Took her for a short time of two rounds at PHP1,000 plus some taxi fare. Only surprising thing was that on the second round she asked me not to use condom which of course I refused but wonder why.

Second night I took time to pick and settled for Nanette, 21. Did not realise it at the time from her clothes but when she undressed she had beautiful breasts. Shaved pussy. PHP2,000 for all night.

In between I visited Japlac Music Lounge, 1148 Jorge Bocobo Street, Ermita, down an alley directly opposite the Hotel Soriente. This is the street that is a sort of extension of Adriatico and joins UN Boulevard. Met the Manager, Gina who offered to select according to my specifications from a sofa full of girls of all shapes and sizes. She picked an 18 years old Arianne who has not been in the business for long. PHP2,000 to pay to Japlac. Up to you how much you tip the girl if anything. No technique but had alll the freshness and hard body of an 18 year old. Worth it.

Will try Robinsons as recommended by bro progman on next trip

May 2 – 4.
First weekend I went to Batangas for a scuba-dive weekend, inviting a female dive-buddy that I have known for a few years, but never had any sexual relation with. As she is a Lady, as I knew her, I had decided not to not try to encounter anything with her, only be with her as a good friend and a dive-buddy. We had a nice weekend, diving at the Cathedral and other places close to Anilao. The resort was acceptable, but cabins with fans only, with mainly pinoy macho divers. The Dive-Masters were very good, knowing the area well.

May 5 – 11
The following week I was busy with business, and other non-hobbyist issues during daytime and early evenings, but went windowshopping in Bourgos Street on monday evening with some friends, where my intention was to see one girl I had met on the internet working in Jungle Room. Of cause – I had forgotten that Monday was her day off, so I did not get to meet her. At about 0100 I left my friends, to go back to my hotel, but by “accident” I found myself visiting Casino Bar in EDSA for the first time this trip. Herman, the bartender who is never behind the bar, only entertaining the guests has a bad habit of remembering your name, even though you have not been in the bar for months. This evening he introduced me to two new ladies, their first night at Casino. I started to chat with one, found her cute, a mestiza, mixed Chinese. She wanted only a orange-juice. I had a beer. I gave a beer to Herman and one of the Floor Managers as well. Decided to bring the girl (Luv-Luv - stagename) to my hotel, and the Bar Fine was as before, PhP 1.000. The total damage when leaving the bar with Luv-Luv was php 1450 (about usd. 30), including the BF. Took her to my hotel, Oakwood – no problems, no questions, when she wanted to negotiate on how long to stay. I wanted her to stay until 0700, but she needed to go home to her mother by 0500. I told her I used to pay php 1500 for all night, but would only give her 1000 until 0500, with no other limitations. She smiled, and accepted. Her history was that she had worked at Universal as a dancer before, and started only this night at Casino. She had had two non-paying men before, both fu*king her twice. Did not believe her of cause, but learned later from her lack of experience that she had to be telling the truth. She did not like touching the d**k, now blowjob, mostly nothing. Side-line,, I always bring a small vibrator, and I introduced it to her, he he he,,, and she became all wild while we were playing with it. Me, being a nice guy, got it my way after a while, but I had to remind her time and time again not to use her teeths during the BJ. All ended well for me, her as well, but I will only range the experience as a 4 (out of 10). The girl was nice, cute, having wires on her teeths, being only 19 years old. But I was not there being her trainer, I wanted experienced service that I could not get. Paid her 1.000 + taxi 100, making the total damage of the night to php 2.550 (usd.50)

Tuesday – office/work/dinner… Then off from dinner with one friend at about 2200 hours, and went back to Casino Bar in EDSA (for those who don’t know the location – it is across the street from Heritage Hotel in Pasay. It is a place mostly frequented by foreigners, as the pinoys think that the girls working there are to “exotic”, meaning not looking good. They themselves prefer mestiza, non-philippino looking ladies). We entered, and then out of the blue came a lady I met in the bar more than one year ago, and did not BF then, and she greeted me with my name. Wow – what a surprise. We had a couple of beers each, also giving a few to the friendly Floor Managers, and Herman, the bartender. Left with her with a damage of php 1.750. Took her back to Oakwood, again no problem. We had a glass of wine, talking for a while about our last one year. She said she was 24, but later adjusted it to 27, but I think she was early 30’ies. I only know her real name, Mayon, and she is also a singer in a band, and is working in Casino part time, which I wanted to believe J. She was good, experienced, and I had a good time. I then introduced her to the vibrator, and we were playing a lot. She took control over the vib.. and was playing herself so hard, she was crying from joy. After having reached heaven she said – give it to me – give it go me, he he he. I told her I could not – as I might need other ladies more in need of the toy. She accepted that, and asked what more she could do for me in return, more BJ, a RIM-job, whatever I wanted, as she was so happy. Lolz… I can only say that I had one of the best nights ever with a Philippina Lady, and I gave her 1700, making the total damage php 3.450 (about usd. 70) for everything.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I was out of town, without any hobbying possibilities.

Saturday I had an agreement to meet one of my “penpals” from internet, Christina. This is a sweet Filipina lady, she became 20 years old when I was there, so I brought her some gifts that she needed at school this coming year. She had worked at Banzai in Edsa for one year, but no longer as she was kept by a European guy that lived in Manila, but travelled a lot. She was very open about it, told me before I came down to see her. I had told her that I would bring my toys, and it was the first thing she asked for when she came to my room (This time at Manila Hotel). She had never experienced it, so she was all hot/wet before coming to see me. She was with me from noon, until 1800, and was fucking my brains out, and herself as well, squirting and moaning… She insisted on coming back to my hotel on sunday and monday, but as I had other things to attend to, I had to say that I would call her if I could fit her in to my busy schedule.

Had a shower, then went to Remedios Circle in Malate, my favourite place in Manila with a lot of clubs, eateries and fun. Being a member of http://www.manilatonight.com I know that there was to be a birthday-party for one of the female-members (Swit_Lass) in Taza, a small club. Went there about 2130, handed over my birthday-present, and stayed for a few beers. About 100 members attended the party, so I got to know a few of them. Then visited a couple of other clubs, Arkidia and Hobbit House for the music and the sizzling Gambas, and went back to my hotel at about 0030.

Sunday morning, I went to Luneta, walking in the park from 0900-1100, looking at the kite-show and more. As my dive-buddy had been out of town, she texted my that she was back, telling me that she was to see a movie at Glorietta (all alone). I asked if I could join her, he he,, and we went out for dinner afterwards. I knew I was on to something, but wanted to work it slowly, as I said before, she is A Lady. Saw her well off to a taxi, and we agreed to meet next evening, after work, as it was my last night in Manila.

May 12-13.
My dive-buddy left work at 1800, and came to my hotel, as I had invited her to dine at the Champagne Room. A nice French dinner, whereafter we went to my room. I knew then I was up for something unexpected, as ordinary girls will not visit your room, unless they trust you a lot. All I can say is that she should not have trusted me,,, She used to be a virgin, and I had a troublesome, enjoyable and emotional night, before arranging a car to take her home by 0530, so she could change her dress before going to the office again.

Tuesday morning she texted me, asking if she could see me before I left, and she came at 1630, as I had a late check-out (1800). Again, we had a very good time, and I guess by now I have a cruch for her, a no-no for a hobbyist like me), and we are texting each other a lot since then via Chikka.com that I was introduced to via this forum.

To summarize it all, I had a very good time in RP this visit, meeting 4 different ladies. This was not according to my plan, as I also had 3 more ladies lined up from meetings via Internet. I spent to much time on the dive-buddy, as I had the hunter inside me telling me that there was a possibility with her, and I was right. Regret though that I did not manage to meet the others, but I will for sure keep them warm until my next visit.

I will give the email-address of Christina to three regular members of this forum, for them to try to set up a meeting with her. This is valid only until May 25. After that date I will only delete the mails asking about her details. You may email me at my handle at hotmail. Be nice to her, as she is a very cute girl.

Sorry for this long post, but I wanted to give you some info about one of my regular visits to this beautiful country, and how I handle myself when here. I find Bourgos Street not the right place to hang out, as it is too expensive for a regular guy. Being member of MTC (www.Manilatonight.com) is also a good way to approach people, if you are an active member, posting in the forum like me. I have received invitations to parties with some of the ladies there already, also a one on one meeting with one of the female-members, but since I already had other plans prepared for my trip I had to turn them down. But try not to be to blunt, as it will only scare potential ladies away. For those of you that are looking for escort-ladies, some pimps are members as well, and may set you up with their ladies.

I would recommend, as others have done before me, to get your own sim-card for local communication. The ladies cannot afford sending texts abroad for php 10 a text, since it only cost php 1 for local texting.

you can say that again...i've been offered these gals (not as if i can afford them :) ) before, and the price range is correct.

You've been around cebu local! I only stay for one month at a time in Makati. Do you think Suzette would be able to give me a deal - since I stay there 3 times a year?

Do I need to mention your name to Suzette as a referral?

Which do you prefer - Oxford or City Garden?

You're right about the crowd at MTC... but it helps to know what the locals are up to...

I will be there in July and a friend will be joinging later on. He wants to monger badly. I'm thinking to bringing him to Boracay, may need to bring our own supply of ladies. Would you have any recommendations?

Hope you're in Manila in July.

I have that deal since last year - 1800 all in but no breakfast. She mention 1900 to me over the phone.

Can I have Kathys number at Oxford? My dilema is that I only stay for 3 weeks and normally take of to Baclod on the weekends, in total I normally stay for about 15 days at City garden and store my luggages when I leave town. Is Oxford condusive to doing business like meeting clients for a quick meeting?

the deal in oxford is to get a monthly deal which is at a lower rate then paying daily for 15 days, like pay 15k for 1 month rather then pay 1,500 for 15 days with no more need to store and pack your stuff since the room is yours the whole time.Citibank and IBM use the place for temporary housing www.oxfordsuitesmakati.com or 632-7888 Kathy Palma, salers manager,Durban corner Burgos, and their Coffee shop is condusive for meetings regards

Re MTC,, guess you are right, regarding experience of members,, but it is a fun place to visit. But if looking for great babes, it is not the place to hang out. The lady-members are OK in a way, but you will not introduce all of them to your mother. I have asked a few for a link to their pic's on the net, but they are reluctant to let me see them. Those I met (visually only), so so,, but guess they are good barkadas.. The forum however, as you said,, you can get good information to follow up, as you did.. Next time (november I guess), I will try to meet elaisamarie, as one of the members said she gave "discount" to MTC-members,, he he he.. Chatted with her a lot, have a brain. If u see her before me, please give us a FR. Her name is id both in msm and yahoo.

Further - I want to salute you for all non-hobby information you provide in this forum. I do hope I will have the possibility to take advantage of some of it at a later stage...

How accurate is the "discount" with elaisamarie? Did P4P happen, or was it just a good-time out with a fun girl?

Marconista

The amount was not discussed, the topic only briefly touched upon, as I had been chatting with her more than a few times.. I was a male member that mentioned it.

As I mentioned, I have not actually met her, only chatted, so there has not been any encountering yet with Elai... It looks like she is highly appreciated by the other members, also as a friendly person, but she is herself saying that she can behave "posh" towards people not handling themselves properly... but then - what do I know...

Have fun in Manila - it is The Great Place to be, if u ask me. I love the place, but I have only visited since 1996-7, so I guess I am not that familiar with the city... There are others, much more experienced hobbyists than me out there.

My thing - I do not fancy Bourgos Street - to expensive - and the girls to demanding - I like simple people, friendly people, and can easily mingle with people in most other places, such as in Malate and at EDSA Entertainment Complex.

marconista,

Appreciate your info regarding elai. I am a PI local and know Manila pretty well, especially the Upscale Nightlife scene that is enjoyed by the locals. I am not a fan of Burgos St bars/clubs because the women are too pushy, overcharge, and generally too much hardcore/pro and not good value for money.

If you like the EDSA complex types, this represents the old Ermita/Mabini Go-Go bars which catered to the expat crowd in Manila (that were kicked out by then Mayor Lim). You might like the Primera Hotel & Health Club on the 7th floor of the same bldg as Premiere Hotel, at Plaza Sta Cruz (corner of Dasmarinas St) in Manila. The fee is P500 for the room/session and P800-1,000 for the girl for FS. A caveat: These girls are "exotic" to caucasians, meaning plain by local standards.

Are you now relocated to Manila and living there long term? I wish I was there right now. I am also using the same handle in MTC.

Question for you Manila regulars. How does the bar fine system work? It seems that sometimes the bar fine is only to get the girl out of the club and then when you get to your hotel you negotiate the prices with her. Is this right? Does it vary from place to place? Does the girl get any of the bar fine? My experiences have varied so help me out, guys.

Thanks!

If you want to save money, here's what you should do. Go to the intersection of Taft and Edsa and then go south about 10 meters. There is a hotel there called "Rotonda."

I'm writing this in simple/special English (mostly) because some of our readers do not possess English as thier native language.

In front of the hotel and across the street, will be girls standing there, some freelance, and some associated with a pimp. Note that you may have to go about 10 or 20 meters north of the entrance to the Hotel to see some of the girls. They may be standing there with friends who are selling fruit, etc.

They may ask P500 (US10.00) , but I usually pay P200 or 300. One, I paid 500 for anal, but it hurt her too much and I stopped. I still paid her though. Once, I got 5 girls in one afternoon. Once, A girl did BJ and swallowed it and then cuddled with me for 3 hours. (Christine) (I have her cell phone number.) The hotel is p97 for 3 hours. fan.

One had a yeast infection. One had a fever in her pussy. so 20 % there may have a disease. I used condoms.

But also, I had a few Filipina girlfreinds in Taiwan when I was working there. (real girlfriends) .

sail east west,

You will encounter these barfine systems in the PI:

1. For Burgos St (Makati) gogo bars, the barfine is just to take the girl out of the club. You have to negotiate separately beforehand on how much her fee is. She will probably get a cut of the barfine.

2. For EDSA complex/Visions/Chaos in Roxas Blvd (gogo bars), you neogotiate the barfine with the mamasan. Sometimes, the mamasan will tell you P1,000 for the barfine and P3,000 for the girl overnight and you pay the mamasan the P1,000 and the girl P3,000. Other times, the mamasan will say barfine is P1,000 that you will pay and you negotiate the rate with the girl.

3. For upscale nightclubs, the barfine ALWAYS include the house fee and the girl's fee. In this case, it is very important to agree beforehand on how long the girl will stay, since they like to bail out at 4-5AM. I prefer to have them with me until 9-10AM for my round-2. You always pay the total to the mamasan. The girl has to come to work the next night to get her money. This is the way the club makes sure she does not take off with you for a week.

Hi all,

I take very short trips to Manila because of business, maybe 1 night at most so I have to do my thing real quick. No time to cruise the bars. I have tried only Casas around Manila, I'm sure the regulars know of the 4-5 brothels around the Ermita area.

Does anybody have one that they recommend? I pretty much tried one girl from each one. Casino Royal, etc.

My experience in Manila has been good and bad. 2 good experiences 1 bad.

I know the brothels charge an arm and a leg. About 3000 pesos which is a total rip off compared to other places but the damn Japanese have jacked up the price like crazy. I'm not Japanese but am Asian so they always try to jack me. If I get 3000 for a young decent girl, I'm a happy camper cause I'm limited in time and I really don't feel like haggling over $20.

My first experience in Manila was pretty good, went to a casa, picked up a nice young 20 year old. She was a very nice girl, gave a good BBBJ, nothing unusual, since it was my first time in Manila, I did treat her exceptionally well, bought her some clothes at the mall and took her to TGIF, I know this isn't necessary but I just felt like it that day. I did cumm in her mouth and she didn't really enjoy that one, said I was the first the cumm in her mouth ever, she was brushing her teeth for about 15 minutes, I guess she didn't like the taste.. :) She claimed to have had 25 customers or so and claimed I was the 2nd person she gave a BBBJ too. Kinda believeable, she was telling me most of her customers are of course Japanese. After a 2nd round in the middle of the night, I just let her go back to the casa because I didn't want her to stay until morning.

The bad experience I had with casas was one that had a metal gate in front and you walk through a door through the metal gate. This is in Ermita. The house was near the corner of the street. Once pass the metal gate, you enter the garage, you enter the door in front of you on the right corner. Best I can describe for now. Anyway, basically, the she left really quick and it was a total waste of money. After this incident, I know to check out the girl physically too. This girl hid a lot of her fat by wearing clothes right, more ugly than I first thought once the make up came off.

The last time I went, I went to this casa called Rita's. I first checked them out, then left and called later to get the girl to come over to my Hotel. The Hotel service at the InterContinental in Makati was really good. Very safe. The girl I wanted and another girl came to my room, the lobby called and asked if they could come up. After I paid the 2nd girl who left, the lobby called again to ask if she was allowed to leave. Man, this is makes it so easy to prevent getting ripped off or having a runner. The girls know it too so you know you'll get your money's worth and they won't leave in the middle of the night while you are sleeping. Props to the IC hotel.

I think Rita is a new Casa cause the girl she was 20 years old claimed that I was her 4th customer ever, I believed her because she was so into it. I usually don't like kissing but this girl just wanted to make out like crazy, she kinda started getting teary eyed at first because I think she was kinda scared, kinda sad.... so I can tell she was new in the biz, so of course I was nice to her, as all of us are. Anyway, we just did it once and I tried anal on her but it hurt her way too much. I never did anal myself before because the gf would never but I just wanted to try and this girl let me but obviously she never did it before either. It really didn't work out even with the lube. The mamasan called me twice to verify the girl came and later again to verify I was happy with the service. Also in the morning called again to verify the girl didn't run off or anything and I was happy. I only did her once and didn't want a BBBJ because I kinda got scared. I always test out the girl to see if she will go BB, and this girl agreed, don't like that cause obviously if I can, so can every other guy out there. I value my life more than that. Since I only wanted to do it once and I told her that. She kept asking in the middle of the night for more sex, this girl was hornier than me. So to satisfy her, I got a banana, covered it with a condom and fucked her with that until she came. Just didn't feel like doing her again after she said she would go BB.

She was telling me her Casa was fairly new and that out of the 4 girls I saw there including her, the one of them was new and never had a customer, should of tried her out. And that the girl that came with her was in the biz for like 5 years so she was the money girls.

Oh yeah, I checked out Harrison's Plaza for some mall action. Apparently, there's some girls there. There is but most were pretty ugly, not very attractive. They hang out on the 2nd floor by the railings. The mall is more of a locals mall, not very good stores anyway.

Ok, that's about it.

Happy Punting.

G'day all.

On my way to Manila in a couple of weeks for a few days mongering and I was wondering if I could get an update on venues for quality freelancers.

Last time I was there, the Hard Rock and L.A. Cafe were two places that I found were good for local freelance ladies. Could anyone give me an update on the numbers and quality of these places plus any promising leads of other likely hangouts of freelancers.

Has anyone tried J. R. lately?? I am really looking for some hot ladies this time around and I was wondering if I could get a name and description for any "hottie" they have met through Ray's intro. services lately??

Thanks in advance.

Cheers and many beers,

Yep, L.A. Cafe is still very popular amoung foreigners with many local freelance ladies of all kinds of shapes & sizes to suit and fit us horny men. If you want to try a different place, you may find it interesting at Grand Boulevard Hotel, Roxas Boulevard where the Silahis Casino is located. It's at the 8th floor, known as "Sky Line". Last week I went there. Gosh there's a lot of new & hot chicks! Big tits! Killer legs! You name it. Just make your choice from the big selection available in the "aquarium" room.

Room fee is P1,200 inclusive massage for 60 minutes. For extra service, you will need to negotiate directly to your selected babe. Usually, initially they'll try to ask for P2,000 for full service but don't spoil the market. P1,500 is the norm! Of course unless you would like to give a small tip. I really had a good time there. My girl could really massage me well & took good care of me. Gosh, she could lick so well that I mourned in pleasure when she licked my balls as if she was licking ice-cream. Know what I mean? :)

I had tried J. R. service once only a few weeks back but unfortunately his fee was way too high! Not worth it. I rather search for myself. The "Buy & Sell" news paper has many "Escort" advertisement. This is a high end service and usually very expensive, ranging from the cheapest P8,000 to P15,000 per pop! :) These hot babes are from the A+ class such as models, flight attendants, college students, etc. Most with super body: good height, nice tits, excellent complexion & veryyy pretty! Too bad this category is beyond my reach. Sigh.

I will be in Manilla next week. I will be staying in the Shangri La in Makati. I have read this is not the best local for mongering. What would the experience mongerers suggest I do? Is there anything close that is reasonable ($20 - 40 USD)? Have a cab take me to other areas suggested in the forum? Take up freelancers at the hotel bar?

I would really like to enjoy myself but I am a little concerned. PLEASE HELP.

Has anyone stayed at the Atrium Hotel at the corner of Taft and Sen. Gil Puyat avenues? Its listed on Asia Travel for p1500 and looks pretty good. I'll be in Manila for 3 days and I'm looking for nice hotel pretty close to the airport.

Also, where exactly is the LA Cafe? I've heard a lot about it but no clue as to it's location.

Too bad this category is beyond my reach. Sigh. Man, if these girls are superhot and well-educated, I wouldn't mind being their boyfriend so I could get free sex everytime I visit PI. hehe.

Thanks

I wouldn't exactly call Gil Puyat "close to the Airport" - it's in Pasay and NAIA is in Paranque.
I don't offhand know _that_ hotel, but certainly within 20 blocks there's got to be literally a thousand hotels to choose from. As for a hotel much closer to the airport - that could be difficult if you expect to speak English a lot and see _any_ foreigners in the neighbourhood.

As for "where's LA Cafe"? Try the north-west Corner of L.A. Del Pilar and (I think) R.Salas (pretty sure it's a block down from Santa Monica Street. Del Pilar is one block up from the bay (not counting Roxas Blvd), between Roxas and Mabini. R. Salas is one block North of Pedro Gil. For the direction impaired - if Manila Bay is to your left then you're looking north. If you're more than three blocks up from the bay or further north than Padre Faura you've gone too far. On the other hand if you're in Pasay you're not even in the same baranguay, you're not even in same "city"!

Hope this helps.

My escape from the house for a business meeting in Makati yesterday fortunately left me a few hours of spare time late in the afternoon for a quick trip to G-Point in Ermita to meet an old friend. Set up my alibis with trusted local male friends once I realized I could squeeze a few hours. Cell phones are great that way, just make sure you have an arrangment with your female friends to *only* text you when you text them and tell them it's safe and for how long. If you have a filipina wife or steady girl then you know that she will have this habit of checking out your cell phone frequently - they're just protecting their investment in you. If you don't have a filipina, then unless you already know the girl well enough (which does NOT just mean the 3rd time you slept together after being introduced by someone you slept with before - I lost my original cell phone here that way!) ... then you don't even want her to know you *have* a cell phone yet. Careful who you trust, ha? Anyway, I digress, and you guys already know all that stuff, di ba?

While my friend was caught in traffic and I'm having my second *large* beer - not sure why the second beer showed up "on the house" but I wasn't complaining ... this absolutely cute 5'nothing girl walks in wearing an ice-cream cone and 3 friends (and some decent clothes) and casts the nicest smile directly at me. Of course the staff tell her to eat her ice cream outside. They're back in 10 minutes; it takes her about 5 minutes to work up the courage to walk over and say hi. She tells me she's in Manila now for 4days from her province, because her restaurant job back home for 80pesos/day isn't enough to buy milk for her baby - good reason! She struggles with English, so when I open up with enough Tagalog to converse she just totally melts.

I level with her that I really *am* waiting for a friend, so she asks nicely if it's ok to sit with me anyway, or will my friend get pissed? Walang problema! Long story short (there was a good hour of friendly talk and her warming up more), she is *so* cute and *so* nice (just a really nice regular girl hard up for pera) that eventually I take her hint and ask her if a few hours with her is ok before I have to be on my way home. Of course, *that's* when my "old" friend finally shows up, so I make introductions, catch up on things with her, ask her to make friends with my new friend to clue the new friend in on a few things to keep her out of trouble, which my old friend does with me contributing the odd hopefully helpful observation. Since my own clock is ticking, I check with my friend and she doesn't mind if I go out with the new girl, since my friend also has her "monthly friend" right now - which I know is true as her cycle unfortunately happens to match my wife's almost to the *hour*. The new little friend's 3 unlucky companions already left to go to LA Cafe in search of tourists who aren't quite as picky and have tons of money to burn, so my old friend does me a favour and takes the new girl down to the corner to wait for me cause we like doing the discrete thing.

(Hope by now you're not too confused by the various "friends!)

Quick jeep ride (which she insists on paying for) to Hotel Sogo on Mabini (which is down Del Pilar to one-block N of Querino then walk left one block to Mabini), 190 pesos for the room for 2 hours, and this teeny girl is the most wonderful combination of shy and all over me. I'm inclined to believe her that she hasn't had "it" since her boyfriend died 6 months ago. She said the one guy she met before me wasn't exactly satisfying when all they did was a bj. (You can figure out the next couple of hours.) I don't normally hand out money these days, but since she was obviously in need, she was very happy with the 500peso note I gave her. Too bad she can't afford a cell phone, but I do hope she stays in touch with my older friend now that they know each other so that I can see her again.

I really do need to find time for a beer at G-Point more often. :) I miss living in Malate.

I also have to shake my head about those people who pay 3000 pesos for pros already spoiled by japanese tourists! Really! Help a needy girl, there are many many thousands of them - with a few hundred pesos - instead of throwing maraming pera (tons of money) at some stuck up hard-pro! Infinite choices, ya know?

(I'll post "On the way home from Ermita" seperately - we really should have a seperate section for Cavite as kind of a 'burb of Manila.)

On the way home from Ermita ....

I stopped in at a locals bar on my way home (sorry I can't tell you exactly where cause I could get in deep sh*t - but if you know Cavite then you can understand "somewhere between Kabila and SM Las Pinas"). The exact location doesn't really matter because there are tons of these places with the little Christmas-tree lights and a few girls hanging around (but at least stick to the places that have a paid guard, ok?).

Decided I'd have "a beer" ... and shortly wound up invited over to a table, talking to a +real+ local whose Tagalog was mostly blowing me away and who'd had enough beers not to want to understand "dahan-dahan". He didn't invite me over to get a free beer (in fact he bought _me_ one later), but I knew that would happen. He just wanted to meet and talk to the new dude in the neighbourhood who's not quite as brown but close to the same age as him. Never toss caution, but *most* filipinos are really just honest friendly people; just watch out for the hardcore unemployed which was not the case - so ok, I guessed right and stayed lucky.

We talked about things and life and Phils and his wife and my wife and "babae" in general and I got some hints, just I only had 1/2 an hour and couldn't stay to really find out. Between the "scenery" and what I did catch of what he was trying to tell me despite the blaring karaoke, this place might be worth stopping in at again next time I'm passing by. If any of the girls are available then they're probably free or almost free way out here (depends on who you are and how you approach it, right?), not that it costs anyone who knows what they're doing much if anything in Ermita either. :) Since I know there's no such thing as "no available girls" if you play it right ...

I however wouldn't recommend these teenie bars full of non-English speaking locals in the boonies for the faint-of-heart tourist. Even some of my filipino friends are leary about going into them, but I think as long as you know your way around and enough Tagalog, buy one round of beers discretely for your table (don't play "big spender"!), keep your act together, and then you should be ok. Do avoid the place if the locals are too drunk - you don't want to get caught in the middle of some drunken brawl over someones lack of singing skills - they take these things pretty seriously and people have been known to get knifed or shot that way. Though I've walked into and quickly out of many places, my wife would give me total shit if she knew I *ever* stop in to check out such local venues, so don't underestimate that there is certainly some element of danger in little strange places, though still seems a whole lot safer than the equivalent back in North America!

BTW, I was there alone, but if you're half-way smarter than me you'd go with a bunch of filipino friends!

One of these years I might have an interesting observation to pass on, with a bit of luck and hopefully sufficient survival skills. Have to remember NOT to drink too much if that's what I'm doing, not to mention *watch* my beer to make sure I know what's in it. Not that anyone would actually want my parts for resale, but sometimes people do disappear and are later found missing a few parts.

If you're going "there" make sure you know how to +be+ the "good and decent transplanted filipino-wannabe". Do NOT go there as a "tourist"! Hah - and now I remember I was dressed for the business meeting I had earlier that day - right down to the shiny black biz shoes the wife insisted I wear - I really shouldn't have done any of that! I also probably shouldn't even post this, but I will, just read with appropriate caution; life is an adventure.

One last post before I crawl back into my cave in the "province" ...

There's someone who I won't name who owes this forum a "trip report" who in fact is a really nice guy who's since probably just gotten way too tied up with life or whatever.

It's about a year ago now that I noticed him here looking for advice. I offered what I could. He wrote back and eventually did come here in the fall of '02 on my recommendation with the info I passed to him. Alas, for whatever reason I lost touch with him after.

I remember giving enough advice to help him connect with a very nice little innocent virgin who cared for him and looked after him from the moment he showed up a the airport to the moment he left. She was in love. I hope they still are - I don't know.

I remember them coming over to our place when we had the Malate condo and the four of us having dinner twice in our place. I went nuts on the groceries and my wife (then gf) spent all day preparing.

I remember showing him around Malate; places to go, women to do.
I remember sharing quite a few beers and picking up a few tabs.
I remember laughing with him about the way-too-young girl who sat on my lap and said her name was "YumYum" who I sent over to sit on *his* lap, on the way out of LA Cafe as we left to go back to the bar where I had things all set up and ready for him for a time he'd remember.

I remember taking him around to help him find a suitable hotel room in Ermita for some private fun and then making sure that fun happened for him.

I remember introducing him to one of my *real* friends. I remember him telling me that he had a pretty +good+ time on the cheap with her friend when she promptly hooked him up with her. (Not to mention what I heard from my good filipina friend privately after - who incidentally asked me yesterday ---- what ever happened to **** !)

I remember giving what advice I could for him to try to get his filipina gf into his country.

He was kind enough to send me some of the pics he took of us all together, but what I +haven't+ seen is his trip report here, nor have I heard from him.

We met +in+ this forum. He promised he'd share what he learned and experienced here, here. Yet, wala! :(

The point is ... to those who benefit from us worn Tshirts in this Forum, please *do* give something back to the community, ok? Help the next guy, ok?
If you remember this, post. If you remember anything like this, courtesy of any other veteran, and suddenly feel guilty ....

You *can* have a part-time filipina gf! You can have a full-time one if you want to dedicate. You can have both if you can manage it. You can have many many many - oh, you'll run out of money and won't have enough of yourself to distribute! I know more than a few filipinas who would be happy to have you "contribute" to their welfare on an ongoing basis. Just don't expect them to be "exclusive" if you can't convince them that *you* are "exclusive" to them. You can do the "exclusive thing too", but it will require effort
(which can be well worth it!) Though then, juggling becomes a +whole+ lot more complex. Bottom line is: how much money do you have and how thin you can get away with spreading yourself? Gratuitous advice: don't spread youself too thin.

Don't mind if they're executives, flight attendants, sales girls, whatever ... just pick the right one, get it together with her, make sure she knows when you're coming and keep her happy when you're not in the Phils, and you WILL be happy starting when she picks you up at the airport. This is one place you can have just about anyone you want. I really doubt there's any easier place on the planet. Sometimes I wish I could clone myself, and I sure as hell don't think I'm any great catch but who am I to argue with a filipina's desire.

If you loose one, don't fret. It's fun having more tripping over you. Only problem is when there's no room for "more", 1/2 :)

Oh, I neglected to mention ... about your concept of "free sex" ... if you add it all up, nothing is free, anywhere! Think about that. Just that here life costs you a LOT less, and who you're with would be someone you could only dream of and drool over "back home", while more filipinas drool over you, ok? Damn hard place to live in sometimes!

its a sad day. After 5 years here Im leaving. Spent past five years having the greatest of times here. Started on my first day here in Burgos.. blow job in Hollywood I recall. Ended today with a trip to Skyline in Grand Boulevard.
In between then, had bjs from lady friends in Enterprise Center,in Bonifacio, in Ayala Alabang Street. Had full sex in Enterprise Center car park and hj in NorthPark driving range.Had hjs and bjs from bar girls in most of cinemas in Greenbelt and Megamall and a great blow in Metropolis near Festival mall.
Had two girls who were waitresses from a bar called suzy wong in las pinas, one from Asian Development bank, one from Asian institute of management, and on and on.
Met many friends thru yahoo icq and irc and shagged most of them. Was a regular at Anito in pasay and kamagong Inn in pasay on many afternoons, Century Park and sometimes Shangri La in Mandaluyonong.
Had three virgins, two manila and one in Cebu.
By my count had about thirty freinds who were all free and a few who got paid.
Had an engaged friend ( 21) from Cebu come visit me and would stay at a hotel in pasay road for three days at a time. Id go back and forth from my office to her... exhausting.
Done so many great and wild things.. funnily enough, I had my business office in a hotel here ,and would always laugh to see that hotels name mentioned by players. Id even see some bar girl friends leaving in the morning, but we all pretended never to recognise each other
Was active in wsg and manila tonight and always fabricating opportunities to play whislt maintaining a respectable family front.
Took many photos of my freinds in states of undress, beeen threatened by a few but generally well treated. Its been great and now Manilas loss is a Chinese cities gain. Already started out as I mean to go on.. with ten chinese ladies found from yahoo gracing my apartment.
So for the new guys.. go out and have fun. Treat the girls well.. whether you pay or not for sex... give them respect and they wil give you everything. Be careful of the aggressive ones, they can be trouble. But remember..for everyone that looks and smiles at you..she probably has sex on her mind..you have to find the key to unlock it. And contrary to many reports about girls not liking to blow here. i never found a girl who didnt blow. and some free friends were ok with anal.
I had three days when I did the double.. ie one girl in afternoon, one at night, but i find it harder to do this now.
Gogo bananas and foxys before were my best hunting but mascara was good when it was KC bar and had a private area. I left semen all over that room.
so..goodbye manila.. and guys.. have fun. This is a dirty polluted city with many looking to rip you off..so learn filipino so you wont look like a tourist..and go have a great time. I wil miss this place but will miss the women the most.

lo peeps,

in october i'm traveling to the philippines, before flying onto thailand.

1/ is the scene in the philippines similar to thailand with freelancers, beer bar girls and finally gogo girls? i prefer beer bar girls or freelancers myself.

2/ what are the major night life areas in manila?

3/ can somone recommend some good hotels that are clean, air-conditioned, have cable tv, good security and doesn't charge if you have a guest for the night?

4/ when i land at the airport, what is the best way to get to a hotel, taxi, and if so, how much should it be?

5/ what are the going rates for ladies, short time/long time? i'm 30 years old (look 25), slim and fit i.e. no need to pay extra.

6/ i like my ladies buxom, not large or fat though i.e. i'd choose a girl with a great rack over a girl with a great arse. i have to hunt around in thailand to find a girl with a good rack; are the filipino girls a little more well endowed?

7/ what is puerto galera and sabang beach like? i've heard this is a good place for the girls. how long does it take to there too please?

i know there are a lot of questions here, but if anyone can answer any at all, it will be much appreciated.

regards

There are cheep girls in Manila if you know where to go. It depends if you compare the preis in Europe so are they very cheep and much nicer. I tell you ehere to go next time.

It should have been written, yahoo, icq (www.icq.com), irc. They are all Instant Messaging (IM) services. irc stands for internet relay chat. Yahoo has an Instant Messaging facility as does MSN. AOL has one but deliberately trys to keep others out of it.

G-Point, the place where the waitresses wear different matching costumes every day and remember your name when you come in, and what you usually drink? Where you can actually run a tab and expect it to be honest come time to pay it?

You'll find G-Point on the south side of Padre Faura, 1/2 way between the Watsons drugstore on the Mabini corner and the 7-11 on the Adriatico corner, straight across the street from the Jolibee. About a year and a half ago I was wasting some time at London Underground when a fellow foreigner bought me a beer and clued me in on G-Point. I checked it out a week or so later and now if I happen to be in Ermita and want to go out for a beer that's usually where I go, though sometimes I wind up with more than just a beer, but sometimes that just can't be avoided.

Happy hour beers are 30 pesos (get the Carlsberg draft, it's just as good as the SMB and the mug is double-sized, vrs the puny half-sized SMB mugs you pay way much more for at LA Cafe!). If you stay after 9pm that mug will cost you 50pesos, which for a fairly nice bar is pretty good, or you can pay much more for much less in other mostly less attractive environments. Or - someone may buy you a beer. Second last visit a lady I know bought me two beers when she saw me on her way out. She owns a real business now so I don't mind, she can afford to be nice to me now.

The G-Point population varies. Sometimes it's very quiet, sometimes it's wall-to-wall yummies, but if you're there for 2 or 3 hours you should get lucky no problem if that's what you want. What I really like about the place is that it's low-key and the girls respect that and you. Sometimes I just go in for a beer. Like yesterday. But somethings things just "happen", like yesterday.

I was in the neighbourhood and it was almost noon, it was hot, and I was thirsty. They let me in 15 minutes before they actually open and beer appeared. Come noon so did a girl I've spent a bit of time with before, so we chatted. After 2 beers I was on my out when another girl I know from earlier escapades shows up, and of course she comes over to talk to me too. She hadn't seen me for a while and got quite friendly sitting on her own stool with her legs planted on mine. Was she trying to tell me something or was she just enjoying an inner thigh massage? Then the new girl playing pool comes over to join us and get her thighs massaged too. After, between pool shots she just comes over and leans on me, along with the other one who's already latched on to me, while my first friend just smiles at me and winks at the three of us, while the one waitress who's been unsuccessfully trying to get my phone# keeps staring at me as she goes by. I think a few of the other customers were staring a bit by then too.

Then these two start strongly hinting that I should take them to my house for a day's partying. I tell them I can't cause my wife will probably come home at just the wrong time (true), then I plead that I just don't have time today (true), then finally I plead poverty (also true). It's just not working - they're saying that if I can't manage anything else would I just take them to a short-time hotel "for fun"? No money, just "for fun". After an hour of sitting there with no beer left (I didn't buy them drinks either - I *had* been trying to leave) I finally gave in, texted a friend to set up an alibi, and away we went for that short-time room down at Hotel Soho [**check my seperate upcoming posting about an issue with Hotel Soho!]. On our way out I gave them what I had left just to be nice, 300 pesos to split between them "sa kumain et drinks et taxi" so they didn't have to walk back to find some rich customers. That left me with 50 pesos and some coins to barely make it home just in time to stay in good domestic graces.

Oh, the going rate if you don't know anybody yet? 500 pesos for however long you want, 300 if things are really slow and you know how to say the right things just the right way. 1000 if you're really really generous and don't know what to do with your extra money (same as the going rate at LA - after all many of the girls do go back and forth). If you have to pay for it, any more than that is silly.

Small problem with Hotel Soho, FYI.

As I mentioned in a previous posting, I rented a short-time room at Hotel Soho, east side of Mabini just north of Querino, July 30th. Usually this is a great choice - but NOT this time.

This time they said they had no P195 2-hour rooms left, but they could give me one for 3 hours at P320. When I came back 10 minutes later with more money that P320 room (really a P195 room) was suddenly P395! It gets worse though - after an hour and 50 minutes there's a knock at the door telling me "time's up!". We're in the shower getting ready to leave anyway, but they didn't know that and a deal should be a deal!

Maybe somebody screwed up. Maybe my mistake was in renting the room myself instead of just giving one of the girls the money to get it. Maybe they figured that they should charge me extra *and* short me 1/3rd the time I paid extra for because I had two girls with me? I didn't have time and inclination to argue with them then, but when I'm next there and by myself I'll be visiting their management about this. Sure it wasn't a lot of money and I was leaving anyway, but it's an issue of dishonesty and just because this is Manila doesn't change things at all.

Unless you see that I've edited positive results of my complaint to them onto the bottom of this posting, you may want to find a more honest place for your event. There are lots of others in the area, eg. Hotel Anito a couple of blocks away on LA DelPilar, Hotel Victoria, etc, though I'm not sure of the 2-hour rates there - can't be that much different though, the hotel competition is fierce.

Hey ianinohio,

Yes, Cherry Blossoms and Yahoo Messenger etc. are excellent places to meet straight and sometimes pro Filipinas. As I'm sure you know, many Filipinas are dying to meet American guys to improve their lot in life and that of their children. Treat them with respect, straight or pro, and they usually can't do enough for you.

Of course there are scammers, more everyday that the Internet exists, but if you follow this rule always (never send money to anyone you haven't met) it's hard for them to get you!

Good luck and happy mongering,

Tom

Questions on L.A. Cafe:

Have been to Manila many times but never checked this place out. My favorite place in my home town (Hong Kong) is a 'normal' bar filled with freelancers where you can go in, talk to many girls low pressure, strike a deal and go. I'm assuming from the reports I've seen that L.A. Cafe would be along these lines. I'm a little burnt out on the Burgos scene and haven't seen much of interest in the EDSA places and don't want to pay the big bucks at Miss Universe or Pegasus.

So,

1 - Is it worth the trip over from Makati to Ermita for L.A. Cafe?

2 - When is the best time? Is 8 PM too early? Is midnight too late?

Thanks!

gweilo,

1 - If you're tired of the Burgos scene, it's worth a shot.

2 - The place is open 24/7. After 9 PM, there should be plenty of girls. If not, they'll start rolling in. Make sure you take a cab. Often times, one of those hawkers will follow you and try to convince to go to one of those bars. I've heard of mongers getting attacked by these hawkers for not giving them some sort of tip for the services. Give the guy a 20 or 50 peso note and tell him thanks for his services, if you already gave him the time of day.

Always be aware in Manila, there are a lot of scammers.

Hi members,

I have been a regular here, but limited to reading the postings.

Would now like to contribute and hope it will benefit current and future members.

I travel here to the Philippines regularly, for and during my "pleasure" time, I used to get assistance from JR a couple of times and also through the local classified ads.

Found one lady by the name of Rose who really offers very good selection. For those interested you may wish to contact her for your "needs" Call her at 0919 478 3478.

let me know if you're dissappointed!

Hi, Marconista

First and foremost, I do not want to be accused of advertising or promoting for Rose's "business enterprise".

It may be fair to say that I found her services (selection, delivery time, flexibility, eargerness to please) exceeds that of the other sources I mentioned before.

As for the ladies,

- you just have to describe the type of lady or ladies you like. I had on one occassion, she just admit that she do not have the type - instead of simply "pushing" for whoever she have at that moment.

- prices have been between 1500 - 2000 for short time and 3000 - 4000 overnight. To her overnight means 24hrs..!!

Give her a try guys. Don't thank me, thank Rose and her ladies.

Thanks pare CebuLocal..

Replied to PM already.

I appreciated the post of NZMAL, but I am always afraid that we scare away the mother-hen if we spam them (then they may not reply as we need). who likes hundreds of calls or SMS's with no outcome(earnings?).

About myself - I guess I will have a hard time mongering... that is, if my GF will be in the neighborhood when I visit next time. I think I will have time only to satisfy her newly found pleasures... lolz :), if you see what I mean.

Keep ut the good work, man.

Had not been to MNL in 3 years. Read this section of the board which seems to me to be slightly more for the benefit of expats living in MNL or people with enough time to explore. It would be nice to see specifics about some girls, maybe who provides better service, but I realize the girls probably don't work long enough in these places to make it worthwhile.

I got to MNL last night with little time on my hands. Stayed at the Philippine Plaza, which is girl-friendly, like I suppose all the hotels in Manila. Headed to nearby EDSA around 11PM and walked into the first bar on the left. Not sure what the name is. The selection was quite good in my opinion and a group of girls started following me as I was the only customer. More came in later, the place is open until 3AM.

Sat with 2 girls. 1 drink each and 2 beers for me came up to 780 pesos. Bar fine for one of the girls was 1000 pesos and I took her back to the hotel. Her name was Marianne, maybe a 7 and kind of shy. She did not want to quote me a price and said I should give her whatever I felt was right. She was friendly though nothing exceptional, light BBBJ and not enough GFE in my opinion. She left around 10AM and I gave her 3000 pesos, based on what I read on this board.

I will try another EDSA bar tonight and report. My lesson from yesterday is that I chose too early and then with the girls drinking with me, I did not feel like chosing another one (I know I could have of course, I am just not like that). After an hour or so, I think better choices were around, girls who were previously sitting in corners or that I just did not see. So, take your time...

Taking taxis from the Westin is a pain because they only allow their own taxis and overcharge. Also, I don't like to go too far from the hotel. I have 2 more nights, is there any other place worth exploring in this area? I read the bars along Roxas blvd were not so good anymore. Used to go there, they were kind of dumps but relatively safe, of course that was in 2000.

Thanks for your recommendations, if any.

For Member 1127:

Please not that it is definately not compulsory to take a hotel car from the Philippine Plaza, just say you want a 'meter taxi' and wait. You may have to wait about 10 mins for a meter taxi to draw up and let someone off. I often stay at the Westin Phil Plaza.

On the money you paid the bar girl, 3000 Peso is far too much and can spoil the market for others. 1000 Peso is the accepted level.

Try LA Cafe for an evening drink, no bar fines and good prices. If you go to Edsa complex, you are right, shop around. Pick a girl, but keep cruising in the other bars and then go back if you feel the original pick is the best. If you are early this is a good approach as they are not being taken.

Good Luck!

I arrived in Manila on Sunday afternoon after a turbulent flight from Hong Kong and went straight to the Heritage Hotel on EDSA at the corner of Roxas; five minutes from the airport and more importantly, across the street from the EDSA complex of bars and girls.

Almost all reports on this forum assume the reader has been in the city but I would hazard a guess and say that many of the readers have not. So, first off. Manila. Its a huge, dirty, polluted Asian city. Definitely Third world. The roads and sidewalks are cracked and dangerous. Utility wires are strung everywhere. The pollution from the automobiles is horrendous. The streets are jam packed with traffic. This traffic is made up jeepneys (communal taxis with fixed routes that are fashioned out of pickup trucks) and drive like maniacs ; ramshackle vans and cars that wouldn't be allowed on US roads; pedicabs, bicycles etc., all competing for the same space. The stench of cooking and exhaust fumes is unbearable, as is the noise, which is persistent and overwhelming. Add the heat, and you better be staying at a nice hotel, just to recover.

So why come? Answer: the pussy is great. The girls are mostly short, brown skinned with shiny black hair, and very friendly. Its also very cheap. And they speak English.

As it was Sunday afternoon, I went with a friend to the LA Cafe, a well-known freelancer bar which is open 24 hours and is great for those quiet afternoons. The girls were competing with each other for our business and would approach the mongers one by one. One girl lifted her skirt to show that she wasn't wearing panties!! But I declined her generous offer as her teeth were so bad, but gave her 100 pesos for her effort anyway. Spoke to a few others but finally settled on one girl who, seemed determined to service me, even if she wasn't as smiling or friendly as some of the others.

We got back to the Heritage and went to work. She wasn't into kissing so as there wasn't any romance involved, I sat on her face and had her rim me, which she did half-heartedly. After that she BBBJ'd me until it was time for some missionary. By now, she was into it, but as I enjoyed the BBBJ more than the missionary, I withdrew, removed the condom, and despite her protestations, had her go down on me again. I promised her an extra 200 pesos for CIM but just before the great explosion, she let me go. Don doesn't like that. Anyway, she jumps up and starts brushing her teeth and gets dressed. I hand her 1000 pesos. She wants more. I know that short time from LA Cafe is often 500 so 1000 is quite good. If she had been a nice person I might have give more and I frequently do, but she was greedy, so I gave her an extra 20 pesos for the jeepney and that was it.

At about 10pm, my friend and I hit the EDSA Complex across the street. We went to Samba's bar, which I have been in on other trips as well. The girls are in bikinis and dance on a stage and most are quite attractive. We both selected a girl and then went to eat. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel and began.

This girl was concerned that her pussy was too small. Now I'm not the biggest guy around, but the alternative was BBBJ and rimming, and that's ok too. She was 23yo, and very sweet, but not skilled in the ways of amor. Frequently I had to tell to not to use her teeth etc. But we managed to complete the deed and went to sleep. I got horny again around 6am and woke her up for more of the same and she bailed out immediately after I finished. Damage--2000 pesos.

I'm in Angeles City as I write this. We arrived here at 4pm after a three-hour taxi ride and are staying at the Orchid Inn. Its about 7pm or 8pm and so far, AC is even more run-down than Manila. But I just got here so I will reserve judgment and report on the AC board as soon as something interesting transpires.

Fastpiston,

Noted your comments on the price...but 1000 pesos for all night?

Anyway, went to the pitstop at EDSA the next day. Unlike the first place (whose name was Casino) neither the girls nor the mamasan were pursuing the customer, which was kind of unexpected. None of the girls fancied me, so I moved on to Firehouse next door.

I told the FM I was looking for all-night GFE and she recommended Lica, a very sweet girl with beautiful eyes, whose charms are best observed after some conversation. I really liked her and she appeared to be enjoying herself as well. Perhaps not the most skinny or beautiful girl, but great GFE, DFK, BBBJ and a very enjoyable company. I thought I would give her a little publicity, she deserves it. Guys, you ought to be kind to her...

I met Mary in Boracay. She is now in Manila. Maybe some of you would like to call her. She said I could put her number on the internet. Her cell phone number is +63-920-825-3939. She is "A" cup, 42 kilograms, 5 feet tall approximately, cute, doesn't drink or smoke. She might want to meet a foreigner to marry. Sometimes she needs money to send to her family back in the province. She is very nice. She sometimes has 4 orgasms in one hour.

What's up everyone,

I want to give all members a large 'Thank You' for contributing to this site. I know I haven't been the best member by posting my own reports. I have to make a suggestion towards those who feel it's so dangerous to trust a cab driver. My first time/night in Manila was wonderful. I trusted a cab driver right from the airport. He was a hustler right from the masses of cabbies in the pick-up area. When he approached me, he was offering to take me to one of his hotels. I told him I already have one picked out and he should take me there if he wanted my business. He dropped me off and offered to take me out once I checked in. I agreeded due to the conversation we had on the drive over. He took me to a local kareokee bar and we had a couple rounds. He asked if I wanted to hit a filipina club with some knock-out girls and I said 'sure'. Looking back on this decission, I have no regrets. I spent three more weeks in the PI after this night and the club he took me to had - by far - the best looking women I have ever paid for. The security was totally far-out. Armed gaurds at the door, full search upon entrance, and I swear the door locked behind us upon entrance. I had a couple drinks once inside and shagged one of the finest I've ever had in one of their private rooms. I prefer the pale skin filipina to the other more common. I paid 1500 peso for the room and her professional service. Well worth it and all because I trusted a cabbie. Granted I could have been knived and taken for whatever I had, but sometimes you need to feel things out to experience an offered adventure.

Thanx for all the outstanding info from you members - you've all helped me with my travels through the PI and Thailand.

Always be aware in Manila, there are a lot of scammers.

... and accomplish what? Show him that you have money to give away for nothing and that he should continue to follow you because obviously you have a lot more where that came from and should give that to him too?

Geez, don't be giving money to the street pimps unless you actually "purchased" their services (and usually you DON'T want to be doing that anyway). Most of them are out there looking for some stupid clueless victim. Giving them money just encourages them to pester anyone who remotely looks like a foreigner, and the y're already a major pain in the posterior.

Late at night, especially after midnight, avoid dark unpopulated streets. Know when you should be crossing the street to the side *away* from being approached. Know when you're on the *wrong* street and get yourself elsewhere. Know when to hop on a jeepney or into a taxi to get away if that's your last resort. You should never be in a situation where you need to fear attack, and if you are in such a situation then you definately did something you shouldn't have done.

Pimps that follow you around and are persistantly annoying certainly are NOT someone you want to be dealing with. Do NOT trust them to take you anywhere remotely safe, you certainly won't get any bargain, but you may get ripped off or worse. Don't trust anyone who doesn't go away when you politely say "no thanks" even if you have to resort to saying it in english. If they follow you instead of giving up, you may indeed have a problem, so at your earliest opportunity find someplace with a guard outside and duck into there. Wait 10 minutes or more - have a burger or drink or whatever, then do your best to avoid that cretin when you leave if they're still around.

Also try to avoid answering any questions they toss at you. Your money is already pesos, you have a great gf, you live a few blocks in some unspecified place down the street, you're from somewhere far away from where his relatives are in your country, you have friends here, etc. Sure, some of the street guys are ok, but you should be able to figure out which end is up in the first 5 seconds, and for some reason you're not sure then let good discretion guide you, not the pimp.

While we're on this topic, if you're a casual visitor, stay away from locals bar s and karaoke places. If you don't know how to mingle with the locals then *don't*, especially if they're drunk which they probably are in such places. If you're not sure about a place then don't linger to find out things you really don't want to learn. If you are in some hole-in-the-wall, watch your drink lest it get spiked with something nasty; ditto about accepting drinks from people you don't know and beware that looks can be deceiving. That goes for women too - just because they're mostly honest, they're not all honest. Etc. Nuff said?

You're not in Disney-land, so treat it more like you would wandering around the slums of Orlando or any other North American city, and this is Asia where your body parts may be considered saleable, and being 3 blocks from the US Embassy at 3am isn't going to help you one little bit.

Be street-smart, especially on the street!

I am heading to Manila on Thursday and will arrive around 11pm. Getting a flight to Boracay the next morning at 9.30am so just wondering what would be my best bet for a hotel as close as possible to the airport?
Cheaper the better but one with an incall massage service would be welcomed....
Also what's the weather like around Boracay at this time of year. I know it's the rainy season but is it like in Korea where it can rain no stop for days at a time or will there be any opportunities to soak up some sun?

any info appreciated

Paddy,
firstly I would say to stay in Manila for 2 nights (or more) not just one. By going to Boracay, you might not find the women you expect to see. Many holiday goers take their own girls to Boracay because the pickins' are slim down there. Plus you'll need the time to rest if you are coming from a long flight.
But, if you do stay for only 1 night, its best to stay near the airport. Look for hotels that are in Pasay or on Roxas Blvd.
Of those, I would strongly recommend the Heritage since it is across the street from the bar complex known as EDSA. This place is strongly recommended.
Or you can try other hotels in Pasay such as Bayview Park, or Manila Midtown, both of which are further away from the action and from the airport but, are much cheaper than the Heritage.
As for incall massage service, I can't comment.
Good luck

The other point is filipina clubs have better looking girls than the ones we foreingers are allowed in. So make a male filipina friend and have him show you into filipina clubs. You and your man Jay R sounds like a couple of guys that I need to get to know to make my next Philippine trip filled with fun and excitement. I hope to visit the Philippines in December for about 2 weeks. I'll be staying with relatives for the first few days which I'm not that excited about since I'll be staying in their small condo where I wont have any privacy. They dont know I’m coming to the Philippines so maybe I shouldnt even tell them that I’m coming to the Philippines? hmmmm?. This is of course MY VACATION where I hope to do what I want to do on my own terms. diba? I was thinking that idea of JayR picking me up from the airport with his girls on hand seems like something that I could be VERY interested in. My email address is: Albert@PimpDaddy.com (it‘s easy to remember, diba? hahaha). Send me an email and we'll discuss my trip.

Quick report on Manila. I've got lots of useful info from this forum so just trying to give a little back.
Stayed at the Heritage opposite EDSA, handy for the airport and decent rooms, girl friendly. Was just about the only punter in EDSA but still they wanted 1000 peso bar fine and had my 1000peso offer for ST turned down, hate paying over the odds.
So went to LA Cafe and almost got mobbed there are so few punters in town, chose my girl and didn't even bargain when she only wanted 1000 and of course no bar fine at the LA. She got genuinely wet and took it nice and deep so gave her a good shagging twice and threw her out as I wanted to kip.
Next day tried LA Cafe again in the afternoon, saw same girl but of course I've come for variety. Met up with a girl who was soon coming back with me for 1000. Showered first and she started BBBJ in the shower, too quick for me so dried off and to the bed, best BJ ever (and I've had a few), CIM with it dribbling ever so tastefully out of her mouth afterwards. She looked like she really enjoyed it, Quick rest and then produced a pair of tights for her to put on so I can indulge my fantasy. She thought I wanted to wear them, soon put her right ,she got them on and after fingering her through the tights I ripped a hole in them and got to work. Got plenty of KY on her arse and gave her a very thorough shagging doggy style through the ripped tights. She was so good at BJ I just had to get her to finish me off that way again, she licked me clean and then greedily swallowed again.
Did I want to see her again? Of course not, much more to do.
Took a trip to P Burgos to the Ivory, 3000pesos bar fine I laughed out loud, bought a few drinks while getting a good grope and back to the LA cafe.
Remember it is the same girls in the LA cafe, you just don't pay too much for it. G point round the corner also good but quieter. Anyone recommend any others?

K I went out with Jay R my guide yesterday after a fairly long (ehrr 6 weeks I think hehe) hiatus from the club scene. There are alot of newcomers and I do believe I'm back on the saddle as far as mongering in Manila LOL.

I got a girl out of East Asia KTV, tanned skin nice body, Tia Carrere looks. Barfined her and she's still here today, prolly gonna have her visit every once in a while until the next one comes along.

I'll be hunting for a light skinned mestiza soon since I had a falling out with one uhmm she sorta mentioned bringing her suitcase to my condo -- NO THANK YOU!

Anyhow Jay R is still a guide to the pleasures of the City of Man so give him a call or text him 0917 414 5416

He's a taxi cab driver by profession this is his sideline for those who don't know. He can guide you or bring girls to you at your hotel. Very trustworthy and friendly customer oriented guy as many from this board who have used him I think will testify to.

I live in Manila now and use his services regularly, he's never too busy.

Hoy GROpapa,

Salamat for your recent postings and reports on your personal experiences in the Philippines. Your info has been helpful as I always enjoy reading what you have to say.

Besides the phone/text number you posted on Jay R... does he have an email address where we can correspond via email? I'm going to the Philippines (hopefully if all things fall into place) in December and I plan on using his guiding services.

Do you have any ideas as to which hotels are the best for staying in? I'm still searching for hotels in the area which are not too expensive as well as luxurious. It doesnt have to be a 5-Star place but I would like it to be as nice as a 3 or 4 star hotel with ample security as well as room service.

I hope to meet you as well as Jay R in the near future. Let's have some fun!

Lalake wrote suggesting Manila Midtown ... response&quoting feature seems gone right now, but ...

Manila Midtown, if we're talking about the same place, *was* at the corner of Pedro Gil and Adriatico in Malate, not in Pasay.

Doesn't matter though, since they closed it this spring and are tearing it down to build some more Robinsons condo towers.

If that's the area and *# you want, try up the street (Pedro Gil) a few blocks on the right. Don't remember the name but you'll find it. If you hit the LRT you went too far. Alternatively go down around U.N. Ave, there's a few semi-upscale around there.

Better yet, try the Executive Plaza on Mabini just south of Pedro Gil. Talk them into a decent room at a good rate if they're not busy. P1500 got us a *very* nice room a couple of months ago when akin asawa at ako decided to spend the night in Malate instead of making the trek home. Asawa talked them into free breakfast voucher too (not that we actually got to use it). Not sure how they are about bringing in stray girls, but hey, it's Mabini in Malate! Just act like you're together and life should be good.

Hi! Don't know if any of you guys still remember me but I got some suggestions for hotels near the mongering zones...usually relatively cheap and decent. Around 3 star each...

Manila - Palm Hotel, Pavillion, Traders Hotel, Silahis International, Bayview, Swagman

Advantages? All are near the EDSA complex (around a 15 minute cab ride), LA Cafe, and malate (although this is not really a mongering place, great fun for the street parties!), Roxas boulevard for upscale strip joints and lower class MP's

Quezon City - Aberdeen Hotel, Hotel Rembrandt, Camelot

Advantages? Located on or near Quezon Avenue, home of the mid to upscale strip joints and massage parlors in the city (usually haunted by Filipinos though...I'd advise foreigners to enter these places with a pinoy friend...much better selection than other places though!) SW can be found along Quezon Ave near the Maalikaya MP, but quality tends to suffer...although a lot of guys pick up girls here...

Makati - Discovery Suites, Century Inn

Advantages? Walking distance to P.Burgos street, home to upscale strip joints that cater to foreigners. (Jools, Rascals, Bananas, etc) SW near Mandarin, but watch out! Most are TV's...

Anywayz, I miss good ole Pinas. Is anyone here from New York? Just moved here a couple of months ago and am finally free enough to try to get some action. I looked in the NY thread here at the WSG but don't really understand the system...people seem to be so afraid of the cops, and they use terminology I don't understand.

Be safe guys!

I'm from NY also and I empathize with the difficulties of getting laid in NY. It's not as easy as heading down to EDSA. Basically, you have to connect with a SW and through her, connect with others and so on. This is one way of doing it. But if you stop for a couple of months like I did, then you have to start from scratch. I usually use the Village Voice, which usually costs $200 for an hour with a SW in her apartment. But everyone is afraid of getting busted by the police so they want ID etc. and are cautious about giving their address. So there are multiple call backs and busy phone numbers etc. It can be a hassle.

Another venue is the street scene, which I don't recommend.

Also, there are 'parties' such as the ones that ******* attends. But, these usually have black girls, which are not my thing and the reason why I stopped going.

If you need more pointers or want to hook up, backchannel me at snafle@hotmail.com.

P-GUY and DASHING DON,

Glad to see other New York pinoys that post here on WSG! I'm planning on taking a 2 week vacation to the Philippines (Makati and/or Manila) along with a 2 to 3 day side trip to BKK and/or Pattaya sometime in December or early next year 2004. How long have you guys been here in New York? Have you guys tried out the MP's here in NY? If not I can take you to one so that way you can get to know the mamasan so she wont give you a hard time next time you come back to visit the place. Some of these places are somewhat paranoid if you first visit without a regular I guess because they might think that you are LE. Alot of the MP places that I've been to (for the first time) here I went with a regular who introduced me to the place. I of course paid for their session just as a thank you for getting me into some these places. I'm considerate, what can I say. If you guys plan on being in the Philippines during December, would you like to hang out and show me around? I of course will treat you to a session in the Philippines just for getting me into one of your favorite spots. Also, I have several numbers of some independant girls that work here that I can hook you up with if you're interested. One of them being a Pinay, and she's cute too which doesnt hurt, diba? I'd rather not post the girl’s numbers here, but if you're interested we can discuss about this more in detail. Email me at: Albert@PimpDaddy.com

Until then,
Happy Hunting,

Dashing Don and NY Pinoy,

Thanks for the tips! I'll be contacting you in case I need any more advice or can get away for a while...in case I can do anything for you, you can e-mail me at astinice@hotmail.com

NY Pinoy - Sad to say, I probably won't be there this December. But I suggest you ask friends to take you to either Starfleet or Air Force One in Paranaque...try both the KTV and MP's there. Being a pinoy, you shouldn't have any trouble. Bring a friend or relative to make sure...or you can try out the upperclass MP's in Quezon Avenue, which I highly recommend.

You get what you pay for.

While the thing I like most about Asia is the abundance of GFE, where it's almost like renting a beautiful girlfrend, I also like the occasional base, down and dirty, cheap experience. Well, if you want base and cheap, you can't do much better than the area around EDSA and Taft (see steve191b's post 06-10-03). If you stand at the intersetion, looking down EDSA towards Makati, the area of action will be on your right.

This area is probably not safe. Remove all jewlry, watches, etc., and only take as much as you need for the girls... which want be that much here. Walk thorugh this area and you will be approached by both pimps/mamasans and the girls themselves. They ask 500 pesos, and take 300 pesos, and the hotel is another 100 pesos (for 3 hours, which should be more than enough.)

I tried two girls from here (one at a time). One was a 7, and the other a six. Each had great "technical skill" (meaning they were experts at making me feel great, great acting skills, sounds, facial expressions, etc., all designed to make me cum so they could move on. Absolutlely no pretense of romance by either, and no "three hour cuddles" like steve191b experienced.

Overall impression: It met my needs for a crude experience. While cheap, I wouldn't go there to save money... if you are loking for something nicer, go to LA Cafe.

Between girls, I stopped by a small go-go club down EDSA maybe a 1/2 KM, just passed a pedestrian fly-over. No nudity, but I met a stunning girl there, an 8, 20 years old. My beer was 30 pesos, and her beer was 130 pesos. She was sexy, cuddly, but when I asked about short-time (which seemed to be going on on premises) she said she didn't want to go there, and gave me her number instead, asking me to call her, which I plan to do.

I'd like to hear anyone else's experience with the street scene here in Manila.

All good things must come to an end...

Went back down to the street market at EDSA and Taft. This time picked up a cute young girl, but there was something about her that made me hesitate -- I got the impression that she didn't really want to go. Rule of thumb -- trust that first impression.

We got to the room, as soon as the money was paid, it was all attitude (bad attitude). With a scowl on her face, she started giving a hand job, and as soon as I was hard, put the condom on. Then, she continued with the handjob! I told her lets go, and she told me I was too big. I said ok, just blow me -- she said that was 1k Pesos, a ridiculusprice for that venue. I told her forget it, was just going to cut my losses. She wanted 50 pesos for the condom, which I didn't need in order to get a handjob.

The bad part was that as soon as she got out of there, she told her sisters-in-arms some shit or another, and I got the cold sholder from all the girls on that part of the street. Even worse, Since it was my second night out (and probably my tenth time walking up and down that street), the wanna be pimps on the street started following me, in mass, stopping at each girl (collectively in a gaggle) asking me if I was interested in her. Not the way I wanted to search out a new short-time.

Anyway, I just grabbed one of the girls I got the other night, and we went at it again. She worked her magic well, and I was soon on my way.

Still glad I tried it, but I think I'll stay away that section of town for the rest of this trip.

Woody.

Flying Scotsman,

How are you? Sorry, I've moved on, and am now mostly in Hong Kong. If you're passing through HK, let me know and we can meet.

I agree with you about JR. Last time I visited Manila I used him, and he took me to a n umber of casas. My tagalog is not good enough to understand the conversation he had with the mamas, and while I'm sure he took a cut out of the price I paid, it was worth it just to be driven around and shown where to go.

I went to LA Cafe the last two nights. Was not at all impressed. The ratio was terrible, about one girl per customer, and most of the girls were not good looking. Therefore the rule of thumb in the Philippines played out - tremendous competition for the very few hot ones, who of course had bad attitudes and very high money demands. Apparently this place is the best price to quality value in Manila - if so I thank god I'm leaving tomorrow, never to return.

One other amusing anecdote about the horrible Philippines - walking back from LA Cafe I noticed a girl I remembered from a few months ago in Angeles (Santos St.) calling my name from a dingy little bar/exchange place. I stopped and chatted with her, and told her I'd be interested in a short time for 500 pesos (about $9.50) like in Santos. She confered the the many creepy looking pimps in the place and suggested 1000. (Yes another Philippine problem - its infested with pimps - I suspect they're too stupid to realize as the Thais have that a bunch of thugs tend to put off the potential customer.) I figured, OK, its Manila, so I went back a little ways into the bar to pay the main pimp, and he said 2000. I said no thanks and walked out. So later I was walking by the same area and she called out to me saying it will be OK. He asked what does she want, and I said 1000 pesos, and told him that was fine. He said OK, 5000 pesos. I didn't say anything, just got up and walked out. For a girl I'd had for 500 (believe me all she was worth) 3 months before!

For so many reasons, I can recommend the Philippines be avoided at all costs.

Wats up!

Going back to Manila this December. I couldn't wait to get back there. Got a lot better after making so many trips. I still can remember my first trip back in 2001 where I took out the main model from Pegasus. Cost me a lot of dough about 12,000 pesos (for those people not familiar with Pegasus, their models are the ultimate bomb; they are not in the level of the cosmo looking blondes of Sydney but it surely does work for me). But, i think it is all worth it. She was half pinoy half american 5'3" tall. Skin like milk and a face to die for. She got the firmest natural boobs and the tighest pussy. A real prime date at 19 years old. Banged her for 2 hours straight and she was into it and unstoppable. A lot of tongue action. Did everything possible except anal. Total GFE. Last time I heard she went to Japan. If i wasn't leaving the next day I would have banged her again for 1/3 the price since there is nobody in between. In the other recent trips, I was just going to the massage place downstairs coz the bosses upstairs are tighthening up for reasons I'm not sure about. I always hit the newbies. No worries, it's 5 times cheaper downstairs. In this upcoming trip, I'm going for the starlets. Thanks GROpapa, got hold of JayR and he promised to make my dreams come true.

Opebo, do you have any skills or are you just a wimp? First time, I heard a monger give up on the first try. What would you if you do if somebody stole your pack of condoms? Go back home?

Stopped by LA cafe last night around midnight. Lots of girls there, ranging from beautiful to, well, not so beautiful. Was low on cash, and was only there to window shop, but got to talking with a meztiza freeelancer who agreed to shorttime for $500. She was probably a 6 in looks, but a beautiful smile, and gave me one of the best BBBJs I've received in this country. Spent about two hours together, enough time for a couple enthusiastic rounds.

Was that $500 US Dollars? Thats pretty expensive even by US standards. I was hoping that it wont cost that much since I'm planning a trip back to "the motherland" in December or January. I'm even hoping to use the services of GROpapa's buddy JR. Hopefully I'll be able to contact him before my trip to the Philippines. Anyone going to be in Manila or Makati during January? An LA Cafe girl for $500?! And you think $500 in your pocket is low in cash? You must think you are in Paris or something with all the high priced hookers or you must have a big fat trust fund. Last time I checked Philippines is still a Third World country. Are you running a charity? I'm sure nothing could wipe off the grin from the girl's face for a month; not even the big hurricanes in the Philippines.

Ozikboy,

You’re question is a little vague to me, maybe because when I think of the word “culture”, in itself, I’m not sure what it means. Culture is such a loaded word that sometimes it doesn’t mean anything unless its placed in its right context.
Anyway, I think I know what you mean. If you’re talking about the bar scene where most locals go, then you might want to remain in Makati. Most of the bars there are decent, meaning not a whole lot of bar fights, and you’ll meet a lot of upper middle class Filipina women.
Bars: Where else ?, Wasabe, Euphoria..

Also, try the malls. When I was there last year, I hung around Glorietta mall and Rockwell. You’ll find mostly regular/non-pro filipinas in this area. I also went Paddy’s point in Timog and it was quite interesting. I found out that some women in that club were Pros.
Try to stick around areas where it’s safe. I don’t think you would like to know the bad culture of PI.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

P.S.
I’m planning to be back in PI around Feb of next year. Any of you regular mongers that are out there at that time, send me PM. Maybe we should start a charter A.M.A (American Mongers Assoc) in PI, with Jackson’s approval of course.
Anyway, Keep the flow of info coming.

I think Ozikboy meant the real culture of the Phillipines .. eg. native food, music, normal night spots like discos and other non-sex diversions. True culture being things that locals do for fun as opposed to stuff created just for tourists. For example in Tokyo you would watch Sumo, eat at a top notch Sushi restaurant, hit the Shibuya city night clubs, visiting the open markets, visiting the Japanese temples, etc. I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

I know Miztiza beauty, the Castillan I suppose, always cost more in Manila. We have different rating scale than the rest of the ho mongers in this thread.

I onced used a service of a high end escort. She stood 5'8" (around 172 cm). Half Japanese I think She was very beautifull. The service was also excellent. Total damage was around 500 USD for overnight.

People in my condo noticed her. She screamed when I f*cked her. Anyway, the next day all the girls in my condo were nice to me. They had an idea on how much money I am willing to spend. And, all guys always looked at my d*ck every time they saw me. I think they thought I have a size of a black stallion's. But, I really hated how the Bakla stared at me.

JAD,

If you fully understood the rating scale of Street Hound based on what he posted, you must be beyond psychic or you are just finding gratification in praising your own self - some kind of mental masturbation I suppose. To make your anecdotes useful to us other mongers with limited psychic ability, i suggest that you stick to more primitive modes of thinking such as logical reasoning or deduction. A little modesty may also help.

I hate to let you know mongers out here who's looking for action on the streets of Quezon City, Manila, Mabini, Ermita or Malate Those girls are the "bottom of the barrel". The reason they are out there is because no sex establishment would take them. These establishments have doctors that makes sure that they are healthy before they start working. Most of these SWs have already been scared by STDs or is suffering from one. Their hygiene is highly questionable coz they are stricken by poverty which means they can't even afford sanitary products or possibly even uneducated about it. The locals wouldn't even touch them. I suggest that you stick with establishments such as KTVs, MPs and bars where you will be "safe".

$500 for a 6 scale girl at the LA Cafe!!! That's way out of my league. I sure hope she was worth it. When I visit L.A. Cafe this weekend and see one of the girls with a really big big smile then I cancheck out the scale your using. Heck, if you gave her $500 she probably wont be working for the next couple of weeks.

I wish I can say carrying $500 is low for me but I do not go out with that kind of cash, in dollars too around Makati or Manila.

Ozikboy

Since you want to see culture and cannot screw non-stop. I suggest to pick a nice girl and have her show you around outside Manila. Not much to see around the town except historical stuff and lots of malls or shops and of course, the night clubs.

When Filipinos themselves want culture they find the next big fiesta like "Sinulog" in Cebu and enjoy themselves. Christmas in the Phils is well... quite merry. They already started decorating this past October and gets merrier til the 25th. Forget the Shangri-la, you can find a place as nice for half the price and girl or guest friendly around Pasay or Malate.Plus it is real close to the clubs.

For most Filipinos, their greatest culture is their love of basketball, partying and just plain having a good time. Just get some feedback of some of the places you might want to go and do some research before travelling south. Way south. Have fun and be safe.

I meant pesos, sorry for the confusion.

Usually I'm not trying to be so cheap, because I find in general you get what you pay for. This night, by the time I got to LA Cafe, I only had about 1200 pesos left in my pocket (after getting a massage at a korean oriented place that ended with zippo extras, and visiting some other places). I really only intended to grab a beer and a sandwich and window shop. This girl came up and sat with me, and after a little while I started warming up to her, and her to me. I got ready to leave, telling her I just didn't have the money to spend on her tonight, but that I'd come back.

She asked how much I had, I told her I only had about 500 pesos left after paying the tab (and saving cab fare back to Makati). She said it would be fine, even after I explained I wouldn't have money for a tip. "Let's go" she said.

I was worried that service would be poor, but she really surprised me, a GFE in all. She kept commenting on how she liked that I was nice to her, and that I didn't look down on her for what she did. Kind of a funny remark, but she seemed sincere.

Again, sorry to confuse everyone with the dollars versus pesos slip (interesting to see though who few people gave the "benefit of the doubt" that it was a typo, and that most people assumed I really had paid $500. Hmmm. )

New York Pinoy,

I'll be in Manila Dec 20-21. I can show you around if you want to. I'm noypi too. Going to Mindanao to see my non-pro GFs. Quezon Avenue/Tomas Morato is my station. A lot of KTVs and MPs like Pegasus, Lexus, Heartbeat, Mystique, Stardust, etc. They got the freshest honeys. When you see one that you like just negotiate with the mamasan. They are there to make you happy. Sometimes they might think your LE when you got the crew cut and the athletic or heavy set body. You can easily convince them your not by just speaking with an American accent. I'm sure you can do that. Just one advice, buy a GSM phone and phone card upon arrival. Try to get the numbers of the honeys you meet or give them your number. Next day, you can have the time of your life that is with no middlemen. Cheapest GSM phones are about USD 60 with phone card. Save the phone for the next trip or give it as a gift (payment?) to one of your honeys when your done. Believe me it will be worth it. Another thing, girls just fall for Amboys like u and me, most of them would like to have you as there bf - no shit. They just surround you like flies.

Have fun.

I agree with most of your reasoning. Perhaps I don't really understand Street Hound's rating scale. But, I know about mine.

I sampled girls from most massage parlors in Pasay, Manila, Makati, and QC. I sampled several girls from go go bars in Pasay, Manila, and Makati. I sampled several girls from Karaoke & Bold Show Clubs in Pasay, Manila, Makati, and QC. I sampled girls from most casas in Cash & Carry area, Makati. I sampled several high price girls from the Bakla. I also sampled several kept women/soft hookers in my Condo. I refuse to name these soft hookers for reason of discretion.

I know the difference. And, I am happy with myself. If, they all are the same to you, then there is nothing I can say!

Word of advice: It has been said among Super Clubs, Pharoah in Makati (along the Creek) is the best. Try this, they won;t drain your money. KTVs are high class places for GRO, but not for glamour models.

First trip in 2001. Paid P 12,000 for a what? That was $ 300 US at that time. Reminds me of an MD who earns only the equivalent of $ 500/Month in Cebu City.

You must enjoy throwing money away. Hope she was woth it. I have been going to SE Asia for 15 years. Speak 3 Asian languages to varying degrees of fluency. Been to Phils 50 + separate trips. Don't care who she is, could be Imelda Marcos' daughter for fucking crying out loud, she IS NOT worth P 12,000. Once paid P 2,000 for a dropdead 23 yo out of "Dimples" on Burgos Street in Makati. Was after a very long dry spell here in USA working and listening to clients crying. I guess I would have crawled on the floor for a gorgeous Asian girl at that time.

Always regretted the price. Though the fuck and blowjob were both good. Still, P 1,000 for a couple hours is plenty.

GRO stands for Guest Relations Officer. GROs are entertainers in KTVs (Karaoke bars) and a rank lower than the models. GSM is popular cell phone standard in Asia, Europe and Australia. If you buy a cell phone in the Philippines it will be in the GSM standard. North America is mostly in TDMA or PCS standard.

I knew you can take my post. Your a sport. If your choices make you happy, who am I to complain. Pharaoh and Pegasus and all those high priced bars, KTVs and MPs are owned by the same company. Practically, all the best hobby places are owned by one company. Check www.ktvphil.com . Not one place has a monopoly of the best pussies. I just tend to go to Pegasus and Sylvanus coz they seem to be a lot more consistent. Maybe I should go to Pasay as a side trip like you advised. I pay my doctor $300 for 5 seconds to find out if my balls is ok. I paid this girl close to the same amount to check if my entire sex system is working. Which do you think is a fairer deal?

Sarcasm aside, it is just an exception and I don't do it all the time. It just so happened the girl was really fresh and looked like the Philippine actress, Rosanna Roces. She was really worth it. After the deed she even wanted me as her bf and she was serious about it. Surprise! I talked to her for weeks even when I'm back in the US. It ended when she went to Japan.

I didn't raise the bar for anyone coz that was the actual going rate for models in Pega.

Looking at the pic you posted in the Photo section, that girl is definitely not my type coz she is what the locals call the "exotic" look. I go more for the Spanish or Chinese mestiza and the Caucasian look.

Thanks for the heads up pare! Unfortunately it doesnt look like I'll be in the Philippines in December. Looks like I'll be there more like January or February if everything goes as planned with my work. That suggestion about buying a GSM phone is very interesting and I just might buy one when I get there. Although, I was even thinking about buying a top-of-the-line phone since I hear they are cheaper to buy over there than it is to buy here in New York. True? But in any case, I'll buy a cheapo phone and give it as a "gift" to the one girl that can make my experience in the Philippines the most memorable one. About that "girls surrouding you like flies" thing, I believe it. I've had my filipino friends here come back with the best stories of their adventures back in the Philippines. Unfortunately I wasnt able to venture out on my own last time I was in the Philippines since I had to do the sight-seeing thing with my relatives. But this next trip to the Philippines, it will be on my own. I cant wait! Hope your still around when I'm there. I'll treat you to a session there (since its cheap, lol) and we can kick back with a few SM's and a couple of cigars. Ahhhh the life!

Pussy Worshipper ... that killed me man.

Actually, there is this practice in Middle East ... kissing pussy as source of life. I am not that familiar with this. But, I learned this from a Libanese friend of mine.

You are quite right about Australia. I believe Australia is the cheapest place for Caucasian p*ssy. They even sell 1 shot maximum 20 minutes package in their bordellos. But, I notice they charge extra for kissing, anal, fantassy, etc. The list can go as long as Mc Donald's.

Yap, you can explore Pasay area on your next trip. Just stay away from Malikaya. I discovered their practice of producing honey trap file. Click Search to tract down all my postings. You should find my posting about this. There was this thailand style body massage place. Exactly beside Pegasus. I think the management operate a bold show club and a brodello in the same premise. I think it was called Q. Is it still there? Happy hunting!

Hi Masterblaster,

Do you have any photos of thsi Girl or the others at Pegasus? I never heard of this place, which doesn't mean much as I stay in Makati and usually cab over to Burgos for fun when I am alone or need a break from my Woman.

Can you have fun with the ladies there without taking them out? I might take a cab over there and have a few drinks and see if one of the Girls will snuggle up to me. Is that a viable option?

New York Pinoy,

I'll be in the provinces after December 21 and I'll be heading back to the US as soon as I get back to Manila. It would have been a nice opportunity to really have fun; but i will surely miss the "could have" paid-for session ;-). But anyways, there will be lots of chances.

As for the GSM phone, it is cheaper to buy top-of-the-line GSM phones in the Philippines but all of the GSM providers (TMobile, AT&T and Cingular) in US are slowly closing the gap by offering free phones and all the top models for a little more dollars. The catch is: it is locked to the provider and comes with a contract plan. Even so, you can have it unlocked on the premise that you intend to use it outside the country and you can just go for the cheapest plan to minimize the service cost. You can't give it away though if you have a plan. Or, you can buy the phone in the Philippines and have a non-contract plan in the US. Your choice.

You can certainly make somebody smile for weeks by giving the phone as a gift. Just make sure to keep in touch with the girl for maximum return. Who knows she might give you free/discounted boom booms when you get back. It will all depend on how you play it.

Looks like you already got your priorities straight for this upcoming vacation. I don't know what your style is but when I like to get more semi-pro action in Manila, I tend to dress nice - more towards the business casual look and away from the Nike shoes and jeans look. More bling bling also works; just hide it when you're outside of "safe zones". Have Fun.

Street Hound just refreshed his mind and saying the currency was actually Peso. Is it possible to rent a p*ssy for ST for 500 Pesos in Manila now a day? 500 Pesos doesn't go that far. And, he claimed to pay this amount in a bar. And, a mestiza American.

I am beginning to think this guy deliberately submitted false information. What do you think?

JAD,

She wasn't a mestiza American... mestiza Spanish, but not a particularly attractive one (I'd say a six on a bar girl scale of 1-10). The Girls in LA cafe will typically ask for 1500 pesos, but easily accept 1000, and often less if they need the money. In this girls case, she said she needed bus fare back to Pampanga, and was hoping that I would pay her more the next time. I caught up with her a few days later when she was back in town, and gave her 1000 pesos that time.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to be cheap with the girl, I just didn't have the cash on me.

JAD,

Maybe we should assemble a jury ;-) I suggest that there should be at least one who is an expert in backpedalling. Another should be an expert in lyrical story writing and another who is an expert in SW/bar girl economics. Any volunteers? Did I say enough. Enough! I better shut up now or Street Hound might blow his top. Jury may be split.

Street Hound, I believe you. Have fun.

Dragon Slayer, check www.ktvphil.com . You'll see pics and location. You can negotiate whatever you want as long as you have the dough and the skills. I doubt if the high-end KTVs would allow doing it in the premises and that includes Pega; you will have to take the girl out. I've heard stories that you could but that all depends literally on the weather. Ask the mamasan. Second rate KTVs/bars would allow it. As for MPs, there is no question about it.

RE: LA Cafe "off the menu" prices

In my experience 500 php is really not a surprising price at LA Cafe. It is close to the norm. Please do not give more than 1,000 and change here. You will not be thought of as generous, you will be considered a grandstanding idiot who doesn't know the value of a peso. If someone has recent direct experience to the contrary I'll gladly defer to them, as It's been a while since the last time I was there, so things could have changed. But I doubt it. Perhaps there is some confusion in the term "bar." This is not a "barfine" place that employs professional bargirls and GROs available for take out. It is just an informal meeting place in Ermita which makes it's money selling food and drink, and sometimes has a cover charge for the disco with live bands upstairs on weekends. Filipinas who go there are on their own, and there is no kickback to the management of the bar. Some, but definitely not all, of the women in there on a given night MAY be available IF they like you or are hungry and broke. If you are clean and groomed and not very drunk and have an English speaking passport they probably like you, but no sure thing. Others are just out for some fun after work or school, usually with a group of girlfriends.

Folks who feel they are getting a great deal on a hotel room for 1,500 php and meals for "only" 250 php in the hotel and are looking for a battalion of bikini clad beauties with numbers on them ruled by a mamasan will be greatly disappointed here, or anywhere in Ermita or Malate, for that matter. LA Cafe is actually part of a small chain of ex-pat hangout type places. There is also a somewhat similar place a little ways north (walking toward U.N. Avenue) up M.H. Del Pilar St. on the same side of the street called the Jurassic Bar and Grill, owned by the same people. It is smaller and usually quieter and the pool tables get most of the attention, but some of the same women will occasionally stop in there as well. They also operate a place in Makati called Rogue's Sports Bar, but I've never been there (I detest Makati) and I know nothing else about it.

It may be only ten bucks in the US, but Ermita is not in the US, and 500 php is more than five times as much as these girls can make in a sixteen hour workday as a maid, or will go a long way toward paying tuition and board in the RP. This is serious money to them, and then there is the opportunity to spend a little quality time in an air-conditioned hotel room with clean running water and cable TV, rather than go back to their squalid tin shack with a dirt floor shared by 47 starving relatives and several nervous chickens. I find that if you are just slightly respectful (or at least not terribly cruel by western standards) they often feel you are treating them like a princess in comparison to what they are used to, and if you decide to let them stay the night and buy them a cup of rice and a fried egg for breakfast you run the risk that they will want to wash your clothes and have your baby. A "gift" of 500 php for these freelance semi-pros is not a problem. Sometimes getting them to stop calling you every hour and waiting outside hoping to see you again is a problem. Short-time rooms are a very good idea for this reason, among others.

The women in LA Cafe range from beautiful to very plain to none at all on any given night. I found that none at all was more common than beautiful, and plain was most common. I really like the place, but it is surely not one of the prime venues to hook up in Metro-Manila, and I wouldn't suggest that it's worth the taxi fare to make a special trip from the other side of town. I have met sweet amateurs there who think of themselves as still virgins, almost, kind of, sort of, except on even numbered Saturdays. I think a few of these young women were there because their entire extended family in the provinces took up a collection to send them to Manila praying to meet a lottery ticket er, ah, blue passport er, ah, single Kano, uh, nice guy. I have also met bargirls who went there after work, but I have met more women who probably were former bargirls. How to become a former bargirl in six easy lessons: get older (twenty-six is an old maid in the PI), get pregnant, get addicted to shabu and disrupt your employer's business with your behavior, get complaints from customers who say they were ripped off, get no customers because they don't want you, or get a failure notice from the health exam required to keep your permit to work in a bar. Caveat emptor.

After sunset there was always a gaggle of SW on the corner a block or two south of LA Cafe on M.H. Del Pilar St. They would certainly go for less, and some of them looked fairly attractive from across the street. I was never quite adventuresome enough to indulge in this alternative, but if someone is in the neighborhood and wants to take one home for the team, I promise to read the report attentively.

I think I can recall the conversation with my first Filipina acquaintance at LA Cafe almost verbatim:
HER: "OK if I sit here?"
ME: "Of course" (replying to her legs).
HER: "May I ask you a question?" The Script, of course, immediately followed. The Script is a list of questions tattooed onto the tongue of every Filipina at birth which the Philippine government requires them to recite without variation within the first three minutes of meeting any foreigner, comprised of: "where are you from, how long are you here, are you married and do you have many children yet, if not then why not how can that be what is wrong, what does not want children mean..."
HER: "You're handsome" (I'm an average looking middle-aged chain-smoking wastrel with a bit of a beer belly, but I have a rather attractive blue passport if I do say so myself)
ME: Hindi guapo; maganda Filipina. (Exhausting about half of my Tagalog vocabulary in saying I'm not handsome, you're pretty)
HER: "I want to be married tonight. Do you like me?"
ME: "Yes, magandang maganda Filipina" (replying to her breast), "but marriage is too complicated to rush into" (Dengue Fever is sounding attractive in it's relative simplicity)
HER: "I don't want to be married tomorrow, just tonight only is OK. To a nice man like you. You want to marry me for a while? I promise to be a good wife for you tonight."
We quickly established that a 500 php wedding gift from the groom AFTER the marriage was consummated would be appropriate, and I gave her another 100 php "for the taxi" which pleased her to no end. She would clearly have been happy to stay indefinitely, but I was scheduled to go on a family outing with my soon to be girlfriend's relatives early in the morning.

In general I have found that many (but not all) of these almost amateur girls respond to direct questions about money by hanging their head in a sullen manner and replying "it's up to you." And it is. And it is best left up to me, and you, after the fact, not before. They often feel better, and are better company, if not forced to feel that they have a price tag. They are raised with a distinct Philippino-Catholic sense of shame, and they often prefer to receive a spontaneous gesture of appreciation for their affection. It is not what I would recommend with a SW in Vegas, but it is what seemed best in places like this in the PI, and a 500 php "gift" can easily feed their entire extended family of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins for a week or more. No shit.

I will arrive in Manila (Makati) early 12/21. I have never "hung out with another monger but it might be fun if someone is interested/ let me know. I go to BKK on 12/24 and then back to MNL for 4 days starting on 1/5/04. If you are a local or real knowledgable about the MNL or Makati scene, that would be great (I buy drink for the night)

thanks for the consideration

I will be in Manila next week. Where exactly is the LA Cafe? As you might deduce, I'm not too familiar with the city, and all the places I know are on Burgos in Makati, but it sounds like this place is a better and cheaper bet. Any other places similar to this one? I will probably stay in the Dusit. Is that anywhere near this place?

Grateful for any additional advice you can provide.

goodenough,

I'm not familiar with the Dusit, but I think it is at the Ayala Center in Makati, isn't it? If that is so, then it is nowhere near Ermita. Ermita and Malate used to be the old "entertainment" districts years ago until local political leadership banned the go-go bars in those areas. Roughly defined, these are the areas near Manila Bay just to the east of Roxas Blvd, west of the LRT commuter train and Taft Avenue, south of UN Avenue, and north of Harrison Plaza. The US embassy is sort of at the NW corner of this rectangle just across Roxas. Swagman's Hotel is also at the north end of Ermita, and Robinson's Plaza is a large well-known mall in the middle of it.

Before you lower your standards all the way down from Makati to what is available at LA Cafe, bear in mind that I am someone who is comfortable in hotel rooms that rent for less than 600 php a night. May I suggest an intermediate step? It is nowhere near as cheap as an informal pickup in LA Cafe, but the so called EDSA entertainment complex in Pasay tends to be somewhat less expensive and more relaxed than Makati, but still can be relied on for plenty of attractive choices on any given evening. It is a kind of mini-mall full of several bar-fine places at the far west end of EDSA just before it enters Roxas Blvd, across the street from the Heritage Hotel. There are also a lot of little short-time hotels conveniently located nearby. The website of one of the go-go bars in this place is http://chaosniteclub.com/ Nothing special about this particular club in comparison to the others in the same complex, just that they have a website, and also some links that you might find useful.

I would feel bad if I influenced you to plan your whole itinerary around LA Cafe, as you may go in there on one night or two and find nothing available or nothing you would want to wake up with sober. It is not a lot different than cruising some of the malls. But since you asked, and now that I've tried to warn you to lower your expectations of the place, MH Del Pillar Street runs parallel to Roxas Blvd. just one block over to the east. If you like exercise in a tropical climate you could take the LRT to the Pedro Gil station on Taft, then walk about eight blocks west toward Manila Bay, reaching MH Del Pillar just before Roxas, you would then hang a right to walk north a few blocks until you come to LA Cafe on the left side of the street, on the NW corner of an intersection. Sorry, I don't remember the cross street. The actual address of LA Cafe is 1429 M.H. Del Pilar St., Ermita, Manila. If you need more information you can email them at lacafe@ermita.com. Don't email them directly to ask about women, of course, as they would be officially shocked, shocked I say, to hear about their customers having sex, at least in writing. In my opinion most guys eager to get laid would not find LA Cafe worth a special trip, but more like a place to go when you happen to be in the barangay and have nothing better planned. I am fond of it because I have some history there, and because I'm a really cheap bastard and an incurable bottom fisher. LA Cafe is too far for most sensible men to try to walk from Pasay, so plan to use a taxi if you are doing both places in one night

If you do stop in there I will look forward to reading what you see and who you find to do there these days, and also what you see at the Jurassic up the street. I wonder if the Jurassic still rents cheap rooms upstairs above the pool hall, as the web page that used to have their room rates posted disappeared. If you have made your way into LA Cafe then anyone who works there can direct you to Mig's Jurassic Bar and Grill, a smaller place just a short walk north. Both of these places are busiest on Friday and Saturday nights, but they never close, and it is possible (though not a sure bet) to hook up with someone interesting any day or night.

If you are in this part of town you might also like to know that Malate, the district immediately to the south of Ermita, is chock full of restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, discos, and such which have nothing to do with commercial sex. Many Manila residents go there to drink, dance, party the night away, and sometimes incidentally get laid. This area is in roughly a four-block radius around Remedios Circle. In my opinion any taxi driver who cannot locate Remedios Circle in Malate is too damn ignorant to operate a vehicle on the streets of Manila, but you could ask to go to the Malate Pensionne at 1771 Adriatico St and you will then be standing about a block away from the circle in the middle of Malate.

A final word of warning, though you probably already know this, be prepared to be firm in brushing off any of the street touts who approach you in this area. They are especially thick in Ermita on the north end of MH Del Pillar. When one of these guys seeks your attention he is NOT your friend, he did NOT meet you before "in the hotel" or "on the airplane" or whatever bullshit he claims, he has absolutely nothing of value to offer you, there is no beautiful girl down that alley, and following any of them anywhere can lead to a very bad night in Manila, or worse. Much worse. As in waking up in Rizal Park missing your watch, your clothes, your fillings, and your kidney. They won't hit you on the head or try to drag you anywhere, just don't be foolish enough to be suckered by them as they smile and try to "help" you as you walk down the street.

Gents,

A former poster on the Thailand/Korat board asked me to put this Manila report up. Here it is:

"I woke up at 1700hrs sunday. I had, at some point this morning, gotten aquianted with a couple of local club denizens with a freeflow bottle of tequila happening (well it seemed like a good idea at the time, as it always does) :p One thing about the folks here, I mean, if you get away from the shysters and tourist trap mongers, they are generous and gregarious to a fault, open hearted and just damn nice people. I'm going to remember that next time I deal with a Philo migrant worker on minimum wage in another part of the world. (OK moralizing over, back to the party.)

Well, around about 2000hrs I made my way to the WSG plugged GPoint Bar on Padre Faure St (a block or two west of LA Cafe) and ordered a coffee, twice the price of a beer, but I'm never going to drink again anyways ;D so what the hell. OK this place has been talked up by some guy on WSG to the point I was expecting a kind of cross between Starbucks and Long Bar at Raffles, Singapore. For starters it's in the wrong neighbourood to be keeping company with a Starbucks, let alone RAFFLES. Basically, what you got is a place where Philipina women (the ones who you see married to older guys back home, not exactly tarty-looking, but sexy in that impish tribal kinda way, if you know what I mean...) are chilling out with much older white men. I'm 42, but these guys are MY dads vintage, or look it. I have nothing against the borrowing timers making the most of their pension checks, mind you, I'll be there soon enough! This IS a nice enough place for what it is. There are no hassles, no assholes, no pretence at anything, and cheap food n drink. What let it down badly on the night was the music, some dickhead on the CD player (which annoyingly, kept skipping) would jarringly switch from Metallica at full volume, to fucking HORRIBLE crooning from some sixties B graders, to chirpy ABBA supermarket aisle numbers, at home my CD collection includes Herb Alpert, Tom Jones, Marvin Gaye, and -when I'm in the mood- ABBA, and guys like that, so you know I'm not trying to be hip here, the music, and how it was being mishandled, was inexcuseable, and I don't know why some of the older guys did not speak up, I don't know why I didn't! Actually, I DO know why, I was a bit over-dressed in crisp tropical pants and cotton shirt, the other guys were in sports shirts, shorts, T's and flip flops, so I thought if I spoke up it would not 'look' good. So I drank my coffee and left to hook up with the other two amigos who were texting me from LA Cafe by about 2100hrs.

This was my first time in LA Cafe, I was just looking for the other guys, and we left as soon as I rv'd with them, but it's basically a sleazy TGI Friday's concept, with semi-pro's on the make, and pool tables.

After swinging by a relatively dead Havana Bar at Adriatico, we headed out to the strip, er, Strip, namely, P.Burgos St, Makati City. Seemed like we were the only tourists there, and we were swarmed by urchins selling gum, off duty scabbies (my word for cab drivers, fucking rogues on wheels that they are -just about everywhere you go in the world.) and door pimps. Watch your wallets here! We toured I think every club there including the ones with Korean and Arabic scrip names in neon. (You know you're less likley to get bombed in an Arabic club hehe!) We were all stone clod sobah, but it was funny after a while, trying to remember which ones were the best, so we could choose a 'field HQ' to set up in "Hey, lets go back to that one with the big-titted mamasan... "Was that the one with the velvet couches?" "Naah that was the one with the chick who had the pierced tongue, remember?..." and so on... we settled in the Shampoo Bar, which had a side entrance (as many do) to a bigger club called... I forgot, dammit! My buddies slithered into the big barn next door where they paid for P300 tequila shots for the girls (who let them at least lick the lime juice from their titties) whilst I put a P50 note in the xmas tip jar for the girls at shampoo as a token of my affability, not generosity ;p The tiniest woman in the world this side of dwarfdom 'Paloma' made friends with me, then her afro- american looking buddy, 'chat' came up to, umm, chat too. (That was after I met a waitress named Pretzel! SheeesH! why do they choose these names?) All the while I girl in a black negligee with an ASS that seemed to have a mind of it's own, was dancing on stage, (groan!) so much pookie, so little time, not to mention pesos! (If I ever win lotto I'm coming back here to fuck myself to death!) Well, it being a slow night, Paloma and Chat came up with a novel idea, why not have two of us! This is actually something thats affordable in this part of the world, why not? besides, I want something different for the 'family album'. They said to avoid the barfine P1K each! Madre Dios! To meet them in the nearby eatery "The Filling Station" after 0400 (closing time) cellphone numbers were collected, then the boyz and I called it a night (they were tired out from the excesses of Saturday night AND xmas shopping all day Sunday, whilst I had opted to lie low.) The hotel was a P130 ride away and at 0200 with empty streets still took about 20mins, this is a big city! (we got the taxi meter switched on because one of us is a local, remember?) After arriving at the hotel, I decided I was too toey to wait for 0400 so I went out again to LA Cafe which is, incidentally a 30min stroll from our hotel on the bay -although I cabbed it. LA Cafe, being a 24-7 operation was jumping, there were Korean, Japanese, Black and White mongers all partying down. I figured that if I could not find a decent friend before 0400 at least I had my threesome to look forward to (assuming it was not all bullshit, as can often happen, just so one of 'em ends up with a john) at the very least either Paloma or Chat alone would have been just fine! About this time I was in the middle of being offered another 'threesome from two passable girls when the stunning 'Tia' caught my eye, she was with some stiff-looking nerdy type, the guy was in a button-down sleeve shirt for shitsakes, he looked like he'd just finished at the office... on a Sunday? Maybe he was a preacher, hehe! (See guys, even with PAID ass, it pays YOU to dress to impress a little, ALL women RESPOND to that, given all the odds being equal, which they are in a pussy bar, after all!) in no time, I had her full attention (she made sure to swing right by me on her way to the powder room!) And after a 'personality test' because I've learned this much, pretty faces often conceal bitchy attitudes and lousy performances, we were taking a bubble bath back in room 603. Halfway through a red-hot ride, I asked for permission to 'go digital' and you (Hi Five Group only!) have the hapy results dripping down your screens, gentlemen (Which pleases us no end!, Freeler).

I let her stay the night. We had breakfast at a cafe nearby, and I gave her a Ten Pound note (P950) plus P500 for a cab ride. Got her email and promised to send the raunchy pix she asked for! (Love a girl who loves her work!) Woven into the weekend was a sub-plot of sms (text) messages from WSG favourites "Cathy" and "Jing" both of whom were too busy to meet me. Cathy started well, but seemed to lose patience, and turned me off completely by eventually talking prices, sight unseen! Talk about arrogance! Jing seems keen, and we may meet in a week or two when I get back. To sum it all up. Don't miss out on some of the GREAT regular nightlife in Manila for the sake of purely mongering. As Progman has demonstrated, some great 'free' GFE to be had in the malls just because you're (in their eyes) overpaid and overthere. Don't forget your digicam. Don't forget your manners (and watch 'queer eye for the straight guy' to get some dress tips!) and don't forget to insist those scabbies turn on the meter. Get out the cab if they won't! If only on PRINCIPLE... don't forget, locals with as much or more money than us don't get shaken down by cab drivers when they use cabs, so why should we.

Scuse the typos.

Hello to all from a part time reader.

I've been to P.I. twice; once to Angeles and the other to Sabang, and both times struggled to find a decent hotel in Manila for one night at around $20 U.S. I usually stay in Manila the night before I fly out.

This time I'll be in Manila for three days around Dec. 15 and I am looking for a place near the Edsa Complex. At one point not so long ago there was a lot of talk on this board about a hotel called the Townhouse, or the Town and Country? Something to that effect, and it is owned by an American expat.

The place was highly recommend, less that 1,000 pesos each night, with airport pickup and the whole nine yards.

I have done a search on this board and not turned up a thing with the words "townhouse". Does anyone know of a hotel close to this name?

If not, I will accept any suggestions of good hotels in the area of Edsa Complex for around $20.

Cheers boys and best of luck!

Thanks for the comprehensive response. Despite the fact that I'll be staying in the Dusit (the company will be paying) I too am aa cheap bastard and enjoy feeding on the bottom, therefore, I will check out not only the LA Cafe, but also the other places you mentioned. I am stationed for the moment in Davao, and have begun to know that city a bit, but I know very little of Manila. Even if I'm not successful in trolling the places you mentioned, the journey itself should prove fairly interesting.

You don't mentioned anything about the prices for the girls. I understand from some colleagues here that the price for thegirls in Burgos, EXCLUSIVE OF BAR FINE IS p1,500-2,000 which seems a bit steep to me. In Davao, you can buy a lot for P1,000 with no problems at all, and the choices are abundant.

Is there a problem taking taxis alone, at night, in the districts you mentioned? My curiosity does not extent to getting rolled, getting killed or involuntarily donating a kidney. I'm pretty familiar with the street tout concept, but thanks for the warning. I will avoid these folks. How different from Thailand where, if you follow one of the street guys, the worst that can happen is that he introduces you to an ugly woman and then wants to be paid for the introduction.

I'll report back on what I find after my 3 days in Manila, which will begin on Monday.

Thanks again for the advice.

Wonder - I believe the place you're looking for is called "Town and Country"...its a motel type of place. I don't know if there's a branch near the EDSA complex though.

You can also give "Copacabana" or "Aloha" (can't remember which is which...one is near the complex, the other along roxas) a try, its usually an apartelle, but I hear that you can get three day deals for around 30 to 35 dollars a night. Best is the location - Just across EDSA complex! Or for a 5 star place, The Heritage Hotel is next to the Copacabana.

You might also want to try the SOGO hotel...should be relatively cheap, and its just down the road from the complex

Wonder,

The place you are seeking is called the Townhouse Hotel, located in a little section known as the Villa Carolina Townhouses, near the border of the northwest corner of Paranaque and the southwest edge of Baclaran. It is owned by an American in Connecticut and his Filipina "wife" Lorna. It is located on a little side street (just an alley really) lined with squatter's shacks just off Roxas, a little north of the small mall at the intersection of Roxas and the airport road. I doubt if most taxi drivers will be familiar with it, or be very enthusiastic about going there on the meter, and their airport pickups are not reliable because they keep firing their staff just before payday. It's not surprising you've heard of it somewhere because the owner is relentless in promoting himself on any website or discussion board remotely connected with the PI, usually under the name "Asia Bill."

I suppose you could call it "near" the EDSA complex if you are a lot more athletic than I am. It is about 2 km (over a mile) and if you plan to walk that seedy stretch of the Roxas frontage road at night I suggest you do it with a companion. I did it once on my own, and I ended up with a colorful story about my fifty-dollar cup of Nescafe; a good investment at the time to escape without further incident from a place I stopped to rest in, which I feel fairly sure was run by the Japanese mafia.

You only asked for name and location, so there you have it, and I will try to restrain myself from offering too much of my opinions about it as a place to stay, except to say that I believe this place and the people connected to it are sleazy in any language, and even though I have pretty industrial strength taste in low end accommodation I find this to be the worst place I have ever rented a room on the face of the earth. I am not kidding. All the rancid details furnished upon request if you really want to know.

It is, however, well within your price range, as most of the rooms go for 300 to 500 php, unless they run their well practiced bait and switch on you for 1,000 php and up. There are some people who are quite loyal to it, and to "Asia Bill," so good luck.

goodenough,

Ah, a man after my own heart.

In general it is more risky and expensive in Manila to take an unmetered "gypsy" taxi than one with a WORKING meter that is turned on IMMEDIATELY upon your request, but there are exceptions. One of these exceptions is permanently parked in front of the entrance to LA Cafe. They have an informal arrangement with at least one driver for the convenience and safety of their patrons. The last thing he wants to do is jeopardize his relationship with the LA Cafe and lose his steady business by messing with their customers. He is also the only driver in Manila who didn't try to sell me everything from a packet of shabu to the Queen of England, and even though I don't think he really cost much less than a taxi on the meter would have, it was worthwhile for convenience and piece of mind while my mind was on a piece of something else. It will probably not surprise you to hear that he knows the local short time places blindfolded, in case you don't. If in doubt, ask the bar staff if they know the driver you are about to use.

I don't remember just what I paid the last time I went to the EDSA complex, but my best recollection is that it was about what you just quoted for Makati. Maybe Makati isn't as bad as I thought, and I should refrain from sneering about it, but I just can't help myself sometimes. As I mentioned before, prices in LA Cafe tended to run from 500 to 1000, depending on the girl, your desires, and your conscience. The largest "gift" I have ever made out of the LA Cafe was a total cost of about 1,200 including some incidentals. I did once meet a Filipina who insisted right up front (unusual behavior here) on no less than 1,500. She was attractive, but not that attractive, and I think she stayed lonely that night. Or maybe I had something hanging from my nose at the time.

It sounds like you're sufficiently streetwise in the PI to actually be able to ferret out something useful from among the street hustlers. There are so many that are simply there to scam you or set you up that I don't try to sort them out, and I usually assume that I am writing for an audience of potentially unwary tourists.

My apologies in advance if this is not in time to be of any use on your Monday trip. Perhaps I'll have the pleasure of meeting you one day.

Heritage is much better than the copacabana although a little more expensive, you will feel much safer and comfortable there. Try their website and e-mail for the best deal. Both right by EDSA.

Wastrel:

Thanks again for your recommendation regarding LA cafe. It worked very well for me. I went there on Wednesday night, and there were probably more than 200 women, and a good distribution of 7-8s. I finally went upstaires and met two really nice looking girls by the pool table in the rear, and I took one of them. I have her P1,000 because I really liked her, but I'm sure she would have been content with less. This is a much better deal than P. Burgos in Makati.

I did go to Burgos the next night, simply because it had been about 10 years since I'd been there. I visited four places, and they were all rip offs. First of all. the "ladies drinks" cost about P300 and it's impossible to avoid at least one of them if you find someone to whom you are attracted. Secondly, the bar fine is P3,000, and the girls seem to expect about P2,500. I did not find the girls, in general, any more attractive than the freelancers in the LA cafe. Further, the number of patrons at each of the bar was extremely small, so the places were virtually empty and altogether not much fun. Finally, every bar to which I went tried to push me to buy drinks, take the girls, buy more drinks for more girls, and so forth. I got sick of it very quickly.

The one unmetered taxi I found in front of LA cafe wanted P200 to take me back to my hotel in Makati. I got out, found a metered cab, and made the ride for P70. I don't know if this is a typical experience or not.

I am now back in Davao, and would be happy to meet you any time that you might be here. Alternatively, I will probably have to go to Manila every couple of weeks and I'll let you know the next time I'll be there.

Thanks again for the sound advice.

Hi all,

I have nothing against LA Cafe except for the numerous advices to keep distance from ladies that are not "traceable" - you would not be able to tract them if something goes wrong, such as lost items/money from your room during the short pleasurable moments.

Alternatively, for those who wish to have the option to get "flowers" to your satisfaction without worrying of losing more than what you paid for, you may want to check out this mummy:

Rhea 0920 898 5784 (mobile) or 02 851 9932 (landline) - she will make sure you will be happy - just tell her the type of "flower" you want.

Tried her 3 times and was 100% satisfied.

Guys....for those of you who are regularly here you will have heard of JR....tnx to GRO papa we have probably the best guide for mongering in Manila. had a phone call from JR the other day and i promised to promote him b4 Xmas.... this is an October excerpt from a gro papa post which says it all....

"Anyhow Jay R is still a guide to the pleasures of the City of Man so give him a call or text him 0917 414 5416

He's a taxi cab driver by profession this is his sideline for those who don't know. He can guide you or bring girls to you at your hotel. Very trustworthy and friendly customer oriented guy as many from this board who have used him I think will testify to.

I live in Manila now and use his services regularly, he's never too busy."

P-Guy.... tnx to GRo Papa ive used JR a few times... its up to you how you want to play things.... You can call him and tell him what ur looking for and he will bring a few girls to ur room to chose from.... or, you can go out with him to a few clubs around pasay or wherever you want and he will make arrangements for you and just generally be around to help with negociations and to ferry you around from club to club. I personally like the guy and treat him as i would a friend, buying the beers and generally enjoying his company. ( Dont get him too pissed tho as he has to drive you around..!! :) ) What i prefer tho is to get him to take me to the Casas..of which there are a few....you can take ur pic from around 20 girls....( 2 to 3 thousand pesos, payable before you take the girl out).... thats for the night...its up to you if you pay the girl extra...i usually do if she has made an effort :) Normally i choose a girl and then go with them for something to eat and drink before going back to hotel..gives you a chance to get to chat with them a bit...not quite as cold as just choosing the girl and then fucking.! But everyone to there own..:) Thats me...
And dont forget..look after JR...he has a wife and kids and does this on the side, apart from his taxi business....he really does offer a very safe way to see a side of manila that would otherwise be difficult for us white guys....

hope this helps

Hi there Gents!

First time posting for me. It's awesome for all the information that 's been posted here. Especially, with the detailed information on what to and not to do there in Manila. I do appreciate all of info provided. I cant wait to get there in March! But before I go, is the LA Cafe a nice place for starters? Again, thanks again for all the updated information. And as a US Marine, I say this to all of you: Semper Fidelis! (Always Faithful!).

out2play - The LA Cafe is quite okay, don't go there that much myself, but it covers two floors, has a number of pool tables....a typical bar in the western sense. Of course, the ladies to guy ratio is quite better than the average bar :) While I'm usually used to looking or "hunting" for the girls, this is one place where the hunter becomes the hunted.

Given that, freelancers are the name of the game in LA; don't expect any shows or mamasan's pushing their product (Except for some "Bugaw" or pimps outside, which you shouldn't patronize) Prices range from P500 to a grand...as has been said before, negotiate if you can.

Enjoy!

GoodEnough

out2play - I agree with P-Guy. The reason I like the place is that there's no mamasan pushing you, there's no bar fine, and prices are reasonable. In fact, the last time I was there, no mention was made of money, and in the morning I gave the girld P1000 (less than $20) because I had a great time with her. I'm getting really turned off by the bars on PBurgos because they're so expensive and the management keeps aggressivley pushing you to take a girl, pay the bar fine, buy more drinks, etc.

One word of caution. When you leave, make sure t oget a taxi that's metered and insist that the driver turn his meter on.

Have an excellent time!

out2play,

Being the holiday season right now. A lot of bars are really pushing the girls at your face. I really hate it when they shove women and drinks before you even get the seat cushion warm. The pimps outside La Cafe are the same, too. If you are a foreigner, once inside, all eyes are on you. Ratio is good and the freelancers are more subtle in the business deals. Just as Goodenough mentioned, more than several occasions I was able to walk out with my choice before settling on the price. I think the lowest I payed was P 500.

Since your coming in March, save, dream and enjoy.

Gents,

I have some other quesitons. I am considered over there in the Philippines. Fil-Am (born and raised here, we pinoys, in the US simply call ourselves Pilipino. I guess we just like to hang on to our heritage than being "American". hehhehe). Anyway, the last time I was there for a vacation, ladies there can pinpoint a Fil-Am miles away! I was approached several times in front of the Philippine Women's University while waiting for my cousin after her classes that day. I was a little uneasy because of my unfamiliarity of what going on over there. I dont know if it's the way I talk or just what I wear but these girls there were kinda relentless.

I just wonder how will it be over there at the LA Cafe. Are the girls just as aggressive as like those girls in front of the university? or is there a certain "culture" or norm the girls at the LA Cafe abide by? And if you can fill me in on more advise as if was I there with you gents in the bar.

Thanks again, Gents. Semper Fi.

out2play - I just got back from Manila yesterday, and confirmed my original hypothesis that the girls at the LA Cafe are pretty aggressive, however a lot of that is attributable to the need for Christmas money, so things should have calmed down a bit by the time you get here. Pinay Lover is also correct in that the pimps outside of the place are relentless, but if you just ignore them they eventual move on to other prey. I paid p1,500 again during my most recent encounter, but I could have gotten away with a lot less. I paid because the service was terrific, though she never asked for anything at all.

Maybe I need to check out the University next time. I cannot pass for a Fil-Am but what the hell. It might be worth a shot to see if I have the same experience as you did.

Hey Guys, Happy Holidays!

I've been fairly busy with all sorts of action all over Makati and Metro Manila, what can I say - I hate being alone during the holidays

Anyhow if you're not finding much action in your usual haunts coz of the holidays you probably didn't give my guide Jay R a call or you wouldn't have much trouble at all LOL.

His cell is still 0917 414 5416, I know he's busy tonight and possibly tomorrow with guests like yourselves(I'm all hooked up with a couple of girls from my recent hunts- one's from EA the other's from SD) but he can always squeeze in anyone in the Makati/Pasay area since that's where he makes his rounds.

He knows where the girls are whether it's casas/boarding houses or KTVs he's the best guide in town as many WSG members who have used his services will attest to.

It's the holidays, treat yourself to a guide and a season filled with exhaustion in the horizontal position

For those of you that like good massages there are a number of massage advertisements in a publication called "buy and sell" available for 20 pesos (also available online at http://www.buyandsellph.com) Prices range from 700 to 1000 pesos for a good one hour to 1.5 hour massage in your home or hotel, sextras often possible (ask for special massage and/or for young masseuse). I have used one particular company a few times (phone number available if you contact me) where my experiences ranged from good to fantastic, unfortunately the fantastic girl has left the company and I have lost her phone number. Total including fs,bj and massage between 2500 to 3000 pesos if you bargain hard and are nice to the girl. In terms of looks, the girls range from 5-7. Has anybody else used these services?

Buy and sell also has escort services listed but I never tried that one.

I have also been using through a Filipino contact an escort
service targeting normally Filipinos where the choice is limited (maybe 6-7 girls, looks 6-8 very friendly, some with good and some with little English only) but the price is not bad (ST 1500-2000 LT 3-4000) and they don't push you for girls that you don't like. I once had two girls at the same time for 2500 pesos ST everything included. One of them became my steady girl, she is a 7, an accountant and now does everything I want her to do with a smile for free and I mean everything. I can give out the phone number of the escort service to a few people but just to a few as otherwise prices could go up. Contact me through this forum if you are interested.

Steve 101,

In Makati just off of Makati Avenue on Valdez St is Robelle Hotel. 02-899-8209. Nice old Hotel on a quiet, residential street. There is an :open air" restaurant/pub next door and you are a 10 minute walk or P 25 taxi ride to Burgos St and the 30+ Clubs there. Burgos St. also has a few restaurants and the Woodmens Head, owned by John from the UK that serves food/beer 24/7.

This Hotel is NICE. Has a beautiful swimming pool and a nice patio. Cute, little restaurant and all rooms have cable tv and most have bathtubs for some hot bathing/fucking.

Rooms are $ 20 - $30 US per nt. I have been staying there for 13 years now. It is 30 mins to the Airport and a P 45 to Greenbelt and all the restaurants and Clubs there.

Decent 1-Star hotel right in the thick of the action is at Dakota Manision in Malate area. There are many Karaokes, Bars, and Discos within walking distance. More than anything there is a German Restaurant, BAR NONE one if not the best in Asia. The owner (pure German) was chief Chef of Shanghai Hilton if I'm not mistaken. I go there everyday I'm in Manila. Great prices, superb food delicacy, German beer and right in the thick of the action. It is directly adjacent to Pan Pacific Hotel. I will post the restaurant name hereafter. Highly recommend visiting The Hobbit House. Again another bar I hit everytime in Manila. Majority of house workers are DWARFS. Great souvenirs for discounted price. Here's an info. link on Hobbit House: Copy and paste.

I'd listen to Dragon Slayer. He knows what he's talking about. Try both places. They have completely different characters, with Ermita being rougher and more down home and dirty, and Makati more organized, slicker, fancier and more expensive. Both can be fun depending on the night and the selection available.

Malate or makati, does not matter, you'll still have a great time. Just be preared for the traffic, don't get frustrated or it will just ruin your day.

I normally stay at City Garden hotel on makati ave and kalayaan. Burgos street is right behind the hotel. Lost of restaurants and cabs outside.

I have to check out this Robelle Hotel, its a few dollars cheaper that City garden.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the great info! I will be in Manila from Mar 15-24 and I'll be there by myself. I was wondering how pretty the salewomen at the malls are, particular the SM I hear about so often. I like the light-skinned women who look less like the island girl type. I am a korean-american, so will that be favorable or unfavorable in terms of my odds of hooking up with 1 of them? Also, I will be staying at the Citadel over in Malate. Does anyone know if they are fine with "extra guests"? Thanks for any more helpful tips and if anyone will be there when I am, let's grab a cold one at the Hard Rock or, better yet, Chaos!

LA cafe is NO WHERE near Angeles.
LA Cafe is in Malate, part of Manila. There are many hotels in the area. You are going to have to do some of your own research to narrow down the options. I recommend asiatravel.com as a source of info.
As for ride from the airport to Malate, depends on traffic. Could be 15 mins, could be over an hour. But, as miles go, it is probably only about 10-15 miles.

good luck.

I'm visiting Manila for the first time in February and hope to hook up with one or more filipinas during my stay. Ill be staying at a good hotel probably near to mandaluyong and will be looking to have someone stay over nights. I've read a number of reports here and am still a bit confused about the best places to go and how to proceed. The hotel seems to be near to the malls on edsa. Is there a particular location I should be looking for talent or avoid.

Normally I would be looking to make contact in advance but as far as I can see there are few active links to finding likely talent. Or would it be best to contact Jay R as areliable contact? What would you advise?

Also, should I anticipate problems at the hotel? Are friendly visitors actively discouraged or is it an implicit feature of the scene?

laLake,

Thanks Ill check out that website. I knew LA Cafe was in Manila but I did not know where in Manila it was. I know Angeles is about a 3 hour daytime ride from the Airport in Manila with that never ending construction on the northern highway going on. What I meant when asking if it were closer to AC was that the airport in Manila is on the wrong end of the city for people who travel to Angeles and I was wondering if LA Cafe was on the end of Manila closest to AC or more near to the airport. I may stay in Manila the first night and then go on to AC and I was wondering if I would be better off taking the bus up to AC if for example LA Cafe was in the part of the city closer to AC making the drive less than what it would be comming from the airport or just taking a taxi to the airport and taking the 1pm SEA AIR flight to Angeles which takes only 23 minutes. Ive been on it twice the plane only has 19 seats and the flight is over very fast. I enjoyed the flight to except the inside of the plane tends to get hot and the air fans that should work dont work. Ive moved up my trip to the PI so I will be there on March 17th and Ill be leaving around May 6th. I will mostly me in AC but Ill also go to Dumaguete, Cebu and Boracay too. For sure Ill be in AC from March 18th until March 24th then its off to Dumaguete and all over the place with a nice long time in AC before I leave the PI too.

If anyone wants to get together in AC for some bar hopping on or after March 18th just PM me and I'll meet you there.

Hi folks,

I spend most of my holidays in Thailand, but have been going to The Philippines on and off since 1998. I had a real fun afternoon in Manila recently which I thought it would be worth sharing. It changed my view of the place completely!

Here goes:

I don’t know Manila at all but found myself passing through for a day on my way from Puerto Galera to Bangkok. It was a hot, sunny Sunday afternoon, so I decided to have a wander around the neighbourhood.

I was staying at the Swagman in Ermita, so crossed Roxas Boulevard and walked south along the bay. Seems like the largest open sewer in the world. Very hot, and the places on the waterfront only had warm cans of beer for sale. So I headed back into the built-up area, which was Malate by this time (as evidenced by Malate Cathedral).

I found a bar (London Dungeon or something like that) and had a cold couple of bottles, then resumed rambling, occasionally smiling at the ladies passing by and being smiled back at. I had just passed the City State Tower hotel when a tout came up to me and offered me girls. Young girls, tight holes. I wasn’t really interested as I had only kicked a lady out of my bed in PG at 6:00 that morning before catching the Island Cruiser back to Batangas, but what the hell I thought, let’s at least have a look around.

We walked for a couple of blocks and then came to a couple of small places, one with an English name I forget: maybe the Kings Cross or Red Lion??? There were two places with Asian names nearby, and we looked in all three. (Looking at a map now, as near as I can figure, these places were about 3 or 4 blocks due east of Swagman, maybe on Judge Bocobo?) All essentially the same at 3:00 on a hot Sunday afternoon – a dozen girls in each stretched out on the sofas taking a siesta, looking pissed off if they got woken up. Just one girl awake and prettying herself up in the mirror, maybe a 7 on the looks and figure scale, around 19 or 20 years old at a guess. I wasn’t really that interested, but the deal was 1500 Pesos all-in for the girl until the next morning. Given that a similar lady would cost around 3 to 4 times that where I was heading in the LOS, I thought why not, nothing to lose?

We walked back to Swaggy, she was waving at all the security guards as we passed various places on the way, though she claimed to have never been there before. Anyway, a quick beer in the Swaggy bar then off to the room. Luckily I had shelled out on a deluxe which had a much better bed than the standard rooms, plus a spare bed if I got bored. I knew that the hotel was girl friendly as my friends living in PG had said so, plus the bag boy had joked about me taking a lady in the spare bed.

The girl was shy and giggly and had that weird Filipina muppet voice when she spoke Tagalog. I always find this very amusing, even though I don’t understand a word, and try and elcicit different noises from the girls for my own gratification. When I finally got her bathed and naked in bed she seemed a bit younger than I had thought, unusual as SEA girls tend to look younger than they really are. I use the tits and especially the nipples as a guide. This girl kept going on that her chest was too small, but it seemed fine to me (for a girl of her age at least - LOL). I remember seeing a chart from some sex education book which had about 8 photos of a girl’s chest as she went from prepubescence to full womanhood. This girl was somewhere in the middle of that lot. Not foolproof I guess, but it was surprising to find the girl seeming younger than I had judged from her face and figure, when it is almost always working the other way around in my experience in SEA.

To be honest, she wasn’t a great performer. But she was very sweet and physically perfect in every respect. And the tout hadn’t been exaggerating about the “tight hole” bit. This was the kind of girl you could put between two slices of bread and eat, hair and toenails and all, she was just so delicious. I was shagged out after the trip from PG and after one pop I just lay with my legs entwined in hers, my arm around her back, cuddling each other and we slept for a couple of hours.

I asked her what the deal was with the 1500 Pesos from her side: she gets to keep just 400 Pesos, plus any tip. That’s lousy, even in Sabang the girls are keeping 1000 Pesos plus tips. We did the deed again, and damn she was a tight kid, and I thought about keeping her all night, but by now it was evening and I needed to get food and sort a few things out and had to be up early for the Bangkok flight, so I gave her her freedom plus a 500 Peso tip. Still can't believe how cheap this was.

This was an interesting experience and I enjoyed it, Swaggy is 100% girl-friendly, and the prices are amazing for quality flesh in a big city. I’ll be back in Manila for a longer stay in the next year I hope. Thailand is getting expensive and Cambodia can still be dodgy. I appreciate that The Philippines aren’t risk-free, but I certainly felt very safe on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The only other time I wandered around Ermita was in early 1998 when on my way to Dipolog. Then there seemed to be no P4P night life, though I was staying on the edge of the park and didn’t dare walk there after dark not knowing what is safe and what is not. I seem to recall that the mayor had shut it all down and it had headed off to Makati. I also recall something about foreigners not being allowed to walk around with Filipinas unless they were married. Has this all changed? What’s the score in Ermita now? Since then I assumed that Manila sucks, but this one afternoon has changed my mind completely.

Can anyone tell me if JR or Rose have emails? Also, did anyone ever try one of the escorts in Philippines Buy and Sell?

Has anyone ever dated Alma Chua? I will be in Manila in March and would like to meet her. I saw her on the internet and really liked those mellons. If anyone has please let me know how much. If anyone knows her exact measurements and height that would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Toy Boy,

First off, forget Swagman for your next trip. You can do much better for the price. I usually stay at the Lotus Garden (formerly Royal Palm). You walked by it when your were near City Tower. But there are lots of other places and what was good this year may be bad next. Pop your head in a few and look at some rooms, you'll get the idea. All but the highest class places are "girl friendly".

You are right to avoid parks after dark, but I've never heard of formal restrictions on walking around with ladies. You (or she) will get alot of cat calls in tagalog (bastoos). She will let it roll off her back, as should you.

The deal you got was not extraordinary, but not bad.

LOS has much to offer as well, I love em both. Welcome to the land of flirtation !

FD

PS: The action in Ermita is unofficial, but there. Check out the L.A. Cafe for freelancers. Don't settle for the first couple of hags that approach you. Be patient, a cutie will come along.

Just a future note monikers and mongers try and avoid the local touts. Some good contact have come from them but more often than not they'll take you for a spin, hook you up, then want a stiff tip. It's all over there for the taking men! Just look, but gentle, respectful and romantic and you'll get them in the sack for far less than 1500PHP especially in Malate. All night too! Normal salary for Filipina working or dancing rarely and I mean rarely exceeds 250php for an 8hr. work shift. 1500php? and in Malate? OVERPAID my friend. Don't drive up the fees like so many have in the other LOS Thailand.

Enjoy!

Thanks Scotsman!

I will surely do that given your recomendations. Can he direct me towards girls who would take up a 3 day assignment? Any guesses what the gift might be?

In the meantime I have been playing the message boards and contacts with some surprising offres (freebies I wonder?).

Best offers so far has come via FlipinaFriends.com and more interesting manilatonight.com which operates a very busy message system. Not sure how good they really are but await further email correspondence.

Firedick,

Thanks for the advice. I was staying in Swagman because of the bus direct from there to Batangas for the boat to Puerto Galera. My friends recommended the Corona hotel about 100 yards across from Swaggy. Indeed, as you suggest it is worth taking a closer look. I’ll keep the Lotus Garden in mind for next time.

The story on getting arrested in Ermita if you were seen with a Filipina and could not prove she was your wife came from my old guide book to The Philippines, a Rough or Nelles publication I think. Admittedly this is quite an old one, bought in 1997 and probably it had not been updated for a few years before that since the General’s big clean-up in the early 1990’s. I am certainly glad that you are NOT saying something like “you went walking in broad daylight with a girl in Ermita – what an idiot, you could have been arrested”.

My friends in PG also recommended the LA Café, and to be honest that is what I was sort of looking for on my afternoon ramble, but I didn’t have directions and missed it even though I see now it was so close. Next time for sure I’ll visit it, I’ve read the posts here and it sounds worth spending an hour or two in there. From what I have read here the malls also sound worth investigating, Harrison and so on.

Cheers,

TB

Hello friends,

I have read all your reports and it was interesting to me. But some times it is not easy to to take all such information and make your own plans. Since I have never been to Manila it is a problem to find all the interesting places on a map. So I don't have any idea where LA-Cafe od G-Point is located.

Since I am going to visit Manila from 2nd Februar (afternoon) until 4th Februar (afternonn) may I ask you for your advise. I intend to stay at Heritage Hotel - will there be a problem to take a girl to my room?

During these days I am interested to a sight seeing tour in Manila and to spend the time with nice girls (preferable two at the same time). In addition a excellent massage would be fine.

Please let me have your advice and maybe some contact or would somebody join me.

Thank you in advance

Spent the last couple of days in Manila and last night went to LA Cafe on Del Pilar in Ermita. It was packed but I didn't find anyone at all interesting. However, there's a new bar, that opened two months ago directly across the corner. It's called Jurrasic Park and I had an excellent experience. All of the women there were dancers working for the bar, and several were really good looking. They will go with you for P1,000 and discourage you from paying the P1,000 bar fine, indicating that they would rather just meet you in your room. The place was reasonably quiet, reasonably attractive, and there was no pressure to buy lady drinks which, incidentally, cost P200. I went in, spent about an hour, made my deal with a beautiful lady, and left. The whole night with drinks and lady cost p1,500 and it was good value for money. Apparently the bar has only been open a couple of months, and it's not yet well known.

Last I heard the Heritage is "girl friendly". Just keep in mind that this is a pretty nice place, so a little discretion is advised. That said, the hotel is right across the street from the complex, so the staff has, no doubt, seen it all before. If you are there on a Sunday, try their Sunday brunch. Quite acceptable.

While sightseeing, if you'd like a cultural eye opening, go check out "Smokey Mountain" in Tondo. Caution though. This is a desperately poor area. Common sense rules apply.

GoodEnough,

Thanks for the heads up on Jurrasic Park.

No problem at the Heritage. I stayed there a couple of months ago, and the staff directed me to the EDSA complex. Came back with a chick and no one said a word about it. Not a bad hotel, but it's a bit far from the center of things in Makati.

Arrived in Manila last Thursday night.

Headed to EDSA Complex at 11PM and walked into the Mayfair bar. No action for about 30 minutes but as I was about to leave the mamasan approached me and hooked me up with Jona, taller than average, dark curly hair. She turned out to be a sweetie (but shy) and we had a good time. BBBJ no CIM and nothing unusual in bed other than a very nice girl. Did not sleep all night and she was vey cooperative when I woke her up at 6AM for another round. Recommended.

The next night I went to Cotton Club, next door to the Mayfair. There I think I got the treat of a lifetime. As I walked in, I was immediately approached by L and Alysa, both cute (L does no want her name posted, sorry). They spent the next 2 hours rubbing against me and french kissing me one after the other or together and that was just great. So far... In fact, I could not understand if they were competing for me or really working together. I decided to take both home. Mistake.

Did Alysa first while L was watching. Alysa will do anything but you can tell she is a real pro, unlike L. DATY, DFK, BBBJ you name it and she will do it. After I finished with Alysa, the girls started arguing with each other in tagalog. Turned out L wanted Alysa to go home so she could stay with me. That did not go well with Alysa but I sent her home anyway because I figured that otherwise they would fight all night. After Alysa left, L told me she was on Shabu...

Spent the next 2 days with L. Simply some of the best sex I have ever had, she was just incredible and said when we parted that any future encounter would be on a non-commercial basis. She is only a semi-pro.

We went to LA Cafe in the afternoon. That was my first time there and I was not impressed at all by the quality of the girls in the couple hours we were there. According to L most of the regular girls there are on drugs, may or may no be true. Certainly they looked older than at EDSA. Must have been a bad day...

The Heritage is cool....i always stay there....the night security can be strict with the girls..want to see id etc...not a bad thing as far as im concerned. But as long as you are with them ..no probs.... On occasions where ive used JR to bring girls to the Hotel for me ive had to go downstairs to vouch for them..but otherwise no hassle.

Flying Scotsman,

I will be in Manila for the first time next month, and will be staying at the following hotel:

Edsa Shangri-la hotel
1 Garden Way Ortigas Center
Mandaluyoug City Metro Manila

Is that anywhere in the vicinity where your friend JR could help me out?

I've been told in the Makati forum that my hotel is an hours cab ride away from LA Cafe and also not close to the EDSA complex. So I was hoping that JR could assist me.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Thanks for your help! I very much appreciate it.

I will be arriving Friday, 6th, and staying for a full week.

I'm guessing that JR is going to be my best bet, from the posts I have read so far.

What do you think the chances are of working girls in and around the hotel I'm staying at? Is where I'm staying completely dead to action?

Also, any problems with a white boy venturing out to the EDSA complex or LA Cafe by himself? I'll probably stick out like a sore thumb, as I'm well over 6' tall and over 200lbs. I don't know the culture, so I'm a bit apprehensive overall (I keep hearing all the stories about americans being kidnapped, etc.). My logical side says that is about as likely as me being hit by a bus in the states, but it doesn't hurt to ask you guys who know.

I can't thank you enough for your replies, this info is invaluable.

Who can recommend a (female) guide for day and night sightseeing in and around Manila? Beside the relaxing hours I interested to see and learn more of Manila and the Philippines. Therefore, that girl should be well educated and should be willing to share upto 3 or 4 days with me. I am in the beginning of the 50's.

Is JRay a alternative and how much does he expect for his services?

Indurate,

You'll have no problem sticking out. It just makes you a prime target for pimps and the working girls. Like myself, I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs also and do stick out like a sore thumb. A white guy wearing a "Barong" during the weekdays and speaks the language a little bit. Sure beats wearing a suit. You might be more a victim of a rip-offs than a kidnapping so just be safe.

Isagani,

The LRT runs the whole of EDSA. From Taft Avenue, in Pasay to West Avenue in Quezon City. It is safe to ride but the wait can be as long as twenty minutes between trains. But, the Taft Station drops you of in a very busy and crowded place. Not a safe place for a foreigner, if going alone or without a guide or friend that knows the area. I bring one of my girlfriends with me whenever I ride to that area or Cubao. Average fare runs between P10 to P20 depending on destination.

Half the people you see at LA Cafe and/or EDSA are going to be white guys who are there on their own. Don't worry about it. You'll be safe. I have never encountered a problem bringing women back to my room anywhere in any hotel here, though I have not stayed in the Shangri La. As to the risks of kidnapping, it's real but remote. I think common sense is the operative word here.

Have a great time. Manila is a fun city. Don't forget to check out P. Burgos St. if this is your first trip and check out some of the ladies who hang around the Hard Rock Cafe and TGI Fridays.

Be safe.

Rabbit Ears,

I haven't seen anymore reports from you Pal. You mentioned some exciting plans or the 23-24 and this time has past. What happened?

Your comment about bending the lady over the window facing the Manila skyline has me thinking. I have a Hotel in Davao where I have the rooftop Presidential Suite with a small balcony. I want to get my honey there with her butt on the railing, arms around my neck as I pound the "beast' into her. As I am tall and solid and she is tiny and light, this should work out fine. One of our guys will be hanging with me there so I will have him watching from below to critique the situation for you guys.

I still have no one meeting me in Makati next Friday night. So, I imagine I will be "hanging" at Woodmens Head on Burgos and then off to a few Clubs. Look for me around 11:00PM.

Hey guys, thanks for the plethora of useful info. As I said in a previous post, I'm visiting Manila this March. I have a couple of unrelated questions:

1) I read somewhere that LA Cafe has a "korean" section where those guys will dish out upwards of P3000 for freelancers! I'm also korean(american), but I'm smart enough to know not to raise the market value. The problem is, if I'm talking to a cutie and she asks me what nationality I am, won't telling her I'm korean lead to her jacking up the fee? Should I lie and tell her I'm from another, less wealthy, country?

2) I was able to get to know a couple of cute girls online and agreed to meet up w/ them when I get to Manila. I have their digits but my cell can't make int'l calls. I heard cell phones in Manila are dirt cheap but, since I'll only be there 9 days, will it be worth it to get 1? Also, can I even get one there if I dont live there? If so, can anyone recommend the best places to buy a cheap phone?

Thanks and keep up the good work guys!

Just back from my trip to the Philippines. I didn't have a lot of time in Manila but tried to survey quickly all the ares I knew to be interesting.

Burgos Street I found too much of a muchness - go go bars with fairly aggressive girls and big bar fines. I only went into two bars there but in one the girls were all but doing it there and then in the bar. My own preference is for a bar where you can relax and have a drink, survey the scene and choose which girls you want to talk to.

Timog Street in Quezon City mainly consists of sleezy bars where there is a scramble to bring out the girls when you arrive and where it's too dark to see what you're going to get.

My favourite by far is LA Cafe where you can spend as much time as you like just wandering around and having a drink or two and deciding whether you want to take a girl or not. There are also a lot of really stunning girls there - and no bar fine to pay. However, the down side is that it seems to be the only place in that part of town with any interesting action - correct me if I'm wrong.

Stace,

IMHO a cell phone is worth the modest expense, especially if you ever plan to return, but even if you do not. Residency is not required with pre-paid card phones, which is what most people use. Best phones for use outside of Metro Manila are Smart phones. Someone here may have a different opinion of the best company to use in Manila.

Can't help you with the Korean thing, short of saying: why not just tell them you're American ? Good luck.

01-28-04, 01:49
Stace,

1. Dont lie. Just tell them you're american, but korean american. And let them know that you dont throw money around like the japanese or koreans do. Give them your price (P1,000/ P1500/ P2000 ?) and take it or leave it. They know americans are stingy and dont pay outrageous barfines or fees.

2. You can buy a 2nd-hand cellphone in very good working condition. Its just an older model, but will fit your needs. Go to Robinsons Mall in Malate, Manila and wander the ground floor. There is a section there that has a lot of cellphone stores who will sell you used. You can them them under US$100 (P5,500) including a Prepaid Card. The provider is either SMART or GLOBE. EIther is fine. Then you need to buy the prepaid card to charge it. Buy about P1,000 worth. It should be enough for the week.
