It's all true. Not only is the food most people eat here tasteless and often inedible to Westers, but it's extremely unhealthy. Diabetes and hypertension are almost epidemic here, and while one of the factors may be genetic, a not insubstantial reason is the crap they eat...high in salt, sugar, and various preservatives. In the past I've tried to gently point those put to some colleagues, whose standard response is, "but I like it." it's a source of amazement to me that Filipino cuisine--which may be an oxymoron--hasn't been influenced by the far superior culinary taste of surrounding SE Asian countries.

Here is the final installment of my trip to Philippines earlier this year, as well as photos of some of the girls I have mentioned. It was written in March/April.

DAY 22: Manila

My final full day in Philippines would prove to be the best.

As far as hotel, room was recently redone and nice (deluxe room) but the size of a shoe box. Next morning I ask at desk are you sure this is a deluxe room, she says the rooms are different sizes, asked for a larger room and next day one came available. Much bigger, same rate. IMHO the area around this hotel is a Shite Hole of the first order. I was up between this hotel and the Pearl Garden in Malate, after seeing that place and it's neighborhood today I regret my choice. This is the marvelous thing about The Philippines. I haven't had a Trop room where the floor was coming up. Usually the room is in working order. But the beds are older, everything is older. I don't get the studio room, I only get the suite. The pool is lovely. The breakfast on the second floor is weak compared to Bayview. Its more an apartment complex for locals, not so much a hotel like Bayview. Also its full a lot, make reservation in advance. The differences are: Trop is a 1-minute walk from Robinson's, and Trop is girl-friendly. Really, try waltzing 3 separate girls into Bayview in a 24-hour period, and see how they respond. They will make you sign-in or register each girl at the front desk. They will inform you (in front of the second/third girl) that this is not the first girl you brought into the hotel today, and they will inform you that the current girl is not eligible for the breakfast in the morning. Quite embarrasing if girl #2-3 is your real gf/wife. At the Trop, you get smiles from the doormen for bringing in stunners, multiples, or sequentials in the same day.

In a resolution penned by Assistant City Prosecutor Sharon Alamada-Magayanes of the Manila Prosecutor’s Office dated Oct. 8, she noted that there was not enough evidence to show that Anselmo Candado, owner of LA Cafe, was involved in prostitution.

In his motion for dismissal, Candado had insisted that the activities inside his establishment were legitimate.

Shut down in June

The cafe was ordered closed by Mayor Alfredo Lim in June after dozens of women suspected to be sex workers were rescued by the police from the establishment.

Of the employees rounded up, two were found to be minors who testified that they were working as prostitutes.

The operation was carried out by the police following months of surveillance and undercover operations conducted by International Justice Mission, a human rights nongovernment organization.

3 charged

The assistant prosecutor, however, filed charges of [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) against Randy Panganiban, Irene Bugay and Beata Shilhab.

I tend to crash pretty hard after using redbull esp when mixed. Ive been using sugar free red bull for about 2 months now and its doing just as good and recovery time does not take nearly as long.

It works and does not have the "crash" effect when it wears off (like Red Bull) and is smaller/more portable.. It's mostly Vitamin B. I never travel without at least one six-pack. This is my first report to this illustrious board after much lurking and learning from other contributors. To whom I offer my thanks and appreciation. This is my account of a 5 day trip to manila on the back of a few days in Hong Kong. No mongering there, just some R&R.

Profile & Plan

Me. 46 yr old, single, definite thing for asian grace, beauty, sexiness, etc. Flirted with a trip like this in the past but never made the leap. Day One. Wednesday- Arrival

Arrived at Manila Airport at about 11am after short hop from Hong Kong – what I assume is usual chaos to get through various checks, baggage and shakedowns to arrivals and a pre-ordered car to the hotel. Selected New World Hotel mainly for proximity to Greenbelt and overall location. Had booked a club room and had no problem with room selection, facilities or price. After a wash and brush up and a wander round Greenbelt, proceeded to an encounter with M, a sales lady in Greenbelt for an after work drink. Maybe it is pushing the boundaries of valiant behaviour, but I figured – nothing will happen against her will so the decision will be hers. Lunch was fine, we got on well, though conversation was limited when it came to a range of topics. After lunch, and a walk around Greenbelt, I asked her back to the hotel to talk some more. Got her to the room, holding hands on the way. In the room, I told her I liked her and wanted her in my bed – she was perfectly receptive, and off we went. Been in Manila two weeks now and have spent way too much time at Bay Cafe. I have 2 GFs now, so only go for drinks and tourist attractions for my GFs.

Miss M and I said our farewells in the morning after breakfast. I told her I would see her next time I was in Manila (and I will). Thinking about it later, I realised that her clothes on the previous night were perfect for dinner and then breakfast the next day. No skimpy dress and heels for her – I guess she had decided that she was going to stay over as it was in her interests to do so after 2 dates

Day Five – Sunday

Met my last lady for lunch, the 35 yr old Call Center worker. We had brunch in the hotel which was very nice and we got on well. I never expected this to go any further, but we kissed goodbye and she went off to her backshift.

L came over in the evening for a repeat performance – nothing extra to report here. This time I asked her to leave after we had fucked because I had an early flight and really needed to sleep. A bit cold given what we had just done but I wanted to avoid any morning declarations of love, tears and trips out with me to the airport

Back to the airport on Sunday for the long trip home. Like McCarthur I will return to the Philippines.

Conclusions

Whilst not up to the bagging ratios of legends like Freebie Fan, I was happy with the return I got. I guess I met all types of Filipina, other than the truly hardcore *****s and that suited me. These girls have a tough old life and deserve our respect.

Cherry Blossom was a useful tool and well worth the money. I joined about 3 months before the trip and this was a bit too far in advance, but the options and dates mounted up in the month before I flew out and everyone turned up. I decided on the CB profile I wanted to target and pretty much stuck to it. Have a few back ups who are likely to go for P4P is a help if you get stuck. A Cellphone is essential once you get here.

Being presentable, polite and as patient as your time allows are very important in the freebie market place. I guess it opens up the debate about what exactly is a freebie – for me it is the attitude in the date and in the sack. The two girls I paid were the most mechanical (and the two youngest). The three others I did not pay were much more enjoyable encounters in and out of bed. I genuinely liked all three of them and could have seriously fallen for two.

My location was limited to the Hotel and Greenbelt – the area was nice and there were no third world sights, smells or encounters to deal with. Security was tight enough and I felt safe at all times. That is important to me. Maybe next time I will try Cebu, but a repeat of these five days in Manila is tempting enough.

unfortunately, you have found out that dia or trying to meet the locals will often require alot of time and effort and (money) before you get results. that is why for someone like me on a limited time in pi, i prefer to spend the money for the sure thing and get only the results i want , afterall, that is the only reason i am visiting pi.
dia is good for those living in pi or those spending alot time there. but i don't have that much time due to work and long travel to pi from home.

RGAnd if you had a sim you had purchased the day before and given a meaningless ID (there is NO LAW in Phils that states you have to provide a passport to hotels. Its just a common practice) and even given the girl an incorrect name, then no one knows who the heck you are, so no need to worry. The secret is in never giving out real details. Just in case.

Pi power is 220/240 v and the cheap adapters just change the pin settings from non Pi to Pi pins

For example, if you look in the bathroom of decent hotels, you will see two separate power outlets of 110 and 220/240 so unless you get her to use the next one in there but then you have to watch electrocution.

I think that might be it... She was pushing all night to go elsewhere even though I was only few minutes by cab from La Cafe. Now when I think about it she was uncomfortable all the way through until we got into the hotel room and asked few times what was the phone call about. Overall it was a good night but I just found the whole thing weird and since it has never happened again.

On my last trip to AC I picked up a spinner form Dirty Duck who was doing all sort of crazy shit on stage with one of her friends. I had an appointment at 11am and no intention of leaving her in my hotel room alone with bags and valuables.. but she sat in the corner and simply refused to go! 1) Two phones - one on international roaming to create the impression I am still in my home country and one with phils sim to arrange meetings with various girls in the phils.

2) As the airline tickets are electronic I email them to myself using a second email address. You can then doctor the dates and arrival times whether it is the international flight or Cebu Pacific. This is evidence to my gf of my arrival and departure to phils.

Why not just buy the bottom of the line Nokia 1280 (It will cost 1250 php in malls for a brand new small fone that slips in the pocket easily).

I am going to keep this informative rather then descriptive, I guess if you can't score in Manila after reading even few pages from this forum there is something wrong with you. So few tips from my last trip...

1. MBC - I am sure many of you know this but I haven't read this on the forum so I will post it anyway... Upstairs you can play pool for pussy. Bet the girls 1000 peso for ST. Beat them and the will honor it. I did this half a dozen times last trip with different girls. None asked for tip, one asked for food. I did tip though from memory around 500 peso. You will need to loose few games here and there otherwise the word gets around. When you lose play the girl again and win your money first then her pussy.... Normally I don't play pool at MBC but I am glad I did this time.

2. For the locals and the more adventurous - A dozen or so FL's spotted on the street just across the entrance to North Harbor. The whole street is like a container town, lol there seems to be some quite nice FL standing there. I passed the area twice around 8-9 pm I have a girl that leaves further up and there is quite a few there. Has anyone ever been there? Can we get some other info on this from our local mongers? I am quite intrigued and may look into it next time so please advise if in terms of safety if anything. To be honest that would be my only concern there...

5. For those that want live music and want to try something different, try cowboy grill in Mabini. The place is 5 min walk from MBC. Walk in sit down and smile. Plenty of action there but make sure you pick and make it clear that you only want her not the whole gang. Eat, drink fast and get the hell out :). Seat as far from the stage as possible otherwise you wont hear anything and you will have to have your whole convo writen on the cell.

Thanks for some new info. I assume the crowd at these places would be predominantly 18-25 or so (I have no idea the min age, where I live it's usually 19 for these types of clubs). Manila cannot compare to Pattaya. I think what you are looking for is Angeles. Read that thread and I think you will find everything you are looking for.

One final deciding factor would be how long a trip you are planning. If your trip is one week then based on your two points above, your decision probably should be either AC or Pattaya. You will have a fine time in either place guaranteed, so I wouldn't over analyze the question. Pick one and be happy.

If your trip is longer than a week, I would recommend the Bangkok & Pattaya combination over Manila & AC. Thailand has more to see, better food, more variety in venue. For a 10 day trip for example; 3 days in Bkk and 7 days in Pattaya would be perfect for you guys. On the other hand, I could have a great time doing 3 days in MNL and 7 days in AC. So there you are. It seems like the girls in the bars are under too much pressure so they tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy the drinks or to take them with you. Not only will you get the mechanical, runners, but you are also under time constraints because they have to be back at work at a certain time. FL are just in the disco having a good time. They are not under as much pressure and are not hounding you because there is no mamasan breathing down their necks to separate you from your money.

I made a similar mistake once in Pattaya. I started chatting to a young woman outside a shop. She had smiled to me as I was passing and I stopped to chat to her. I did not say anything innapropriate in a sexual way, but I did ask her if she wanted to go for a drink with me. Before she could answer, her Norwegian bf walked out from the shop and I just apologised. I was exteremely embarrassed and he just shrugged his shoulders.
What I am trying to say is that you should not blame the guy for hitting on your wife provided it was done in a respectful and courteous way, it is a mistake anyone of us could make. I certainly agree that anything that overstepped this mark would warrant a more robust response. I am assuming from the fact that your wife was yelling at him means that he just automatically assumed she was a WG and said something innapropriate. This is all about approaching women in a careful way, it is not always easy to tell a WG from a non WG and one has to tread very carefully
