Doing non-pros can be a little trickier, I agree, but for me it's more fun than barfining.

There's an axiom in sales: "Find the pain." In other words, dangle something you know the target wants and / or needs. Then let them know you have it, but communicate (carefully!) that there are other interested parties. Then use this angle to get whatever it is that you want and / or need.

I say this because having success with DIA and FC girls has largely correlated with my being able to find the pain. I often mention an imminent trip to Puerto Galera or Boracay on the initial lunch date, which usually piques the girl's interest. On the food. You have to stay away from the TGIF's and Hard Rock Cafe's type of restaurants to avoid the high cost. In the basement of SM Glorietta they have a local food court and the food is very good and priced inline with the local prices and not the tourist / business areas.

My sched is as follows.

Second taxi drivers in Manila are funny in that they are pathological liars. Case in point one wonderfully nice guy picked me up in his decrepit heap of stinky smokey junk and started the " where you from, how long you stay routine (yes the same one as the bargirls!). I half answered and he politely explained that thee was traffic so he knew a long way that was quicker etc and maybe best we don't use the meter.

We carried on for a while like this, with his radio blaring. She slide me back most of the change and left a few coin totalling maybe 20 bt. VogelThere are some Russians working privately through their pimps in Makati area. If you hang around long enough in Greenbelt, you will spot them. The only club I know in Manila that has Russian girls is the Club Jills (spelling?) in Burgo Street area. But they only strip dance and sit and drink with you if you invite them. They don't go out. It is basically a waste of money in my opinion.

Makau is another destination if you have to have Russian. You can find them in some Saunas. Some of them work on the streets at night, but this activity diminished after crackdowns from local law enforcement. In Bangkok try the CM2 nightclub in the basement of the Novotel Hotel in Siam Square, or if you want to go a bit more downmarket try in and around the Grace Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 3, late at night (I. E. Well after midnight).

In Pattaya there are quite a few Russians working some of the bars in Walking Street, including at places like the Marine Disco later in the evenings. But be careful who you approach; there are a lot of Russian tourists who go to Pattaya on package holidays, and some of the younger women are seriously hot. However they are straight tourists and *not* working girls, and their boyfriends tend to be beefy and aggressive. So scope things out carefully before making a play.

There are some restaurant areas with lot of independents. Forget the name of the place.

But other guys here will know.

P burgos bars somewhat expensive to me.

Then there is firehouse complex on EDSA. Several bars.

Many KTV s and some places on rojas close to mall of asia. Very expensive and funky to me.

Then in ermita there is mbc? The old LA cafe. And g point around the corner.

As well as little small places to check out in the area if you are walking around.

I try to avoid Manila myself. Lot of pick pockets and just plan idiots out there.

Welcome to the Philippines (in April)! Actually flying into Manila myself from Amsterdam 2nd week of April. Cannot wait. Angeles can be ok, I spend there 3 days about 4 years ago, and I think you can have a good time. Heard there are actually thousands and thousands of girls working there. Imagine Burgos Street in Makati times 10. . At least that was the impression I got. Beautiful girls, of course. No beach around, and I don't particularly like Angeles. However, day tripping two Mount Pinatubo (volcano) is acutally a great trip. Very scenic, one of the highlights of Philippines.

Stayed in ABC myself. 5 min walk to the action, and comfy rooms for about USD 100. Plenty of luxury.

Prefer mongering myself in Manila, since there is also plenty of other things to do. One recommendation: sipping a beer and having dinner at Havana's in Greenbelt. Lots of candy going round.

I'm not an expert on AC, but I have been in Manila multiple times. If you are looking for interesting surroundings, you will not find it in the mongering areas of Manila either. There are some parks, and the bay walk along Roxas, but the homeless beggars are all over the place, and ruin the entire scene. If you go into a restaurant to eat, don't sit near the windows. The beggars are not allowed to come inside to bother the customers, but they will push their faces up against the window, tap on it, and do anything they can to get your attention. Often the managers will shoo them away, but they just keep coming back. The best way to combat this in any Philippine city, is to concentrate mainly on the interesting surroundings in bed next to you!

Yes if you are into Mongering then AC is a the place and not much else. There are not much to do in Manila so 3 day is enough you should stay in Manila for one night and then head to AC and decide for yourself which city is better for you, you might also like to go to Cebu for a few day.

No beach in angeles. But one hour or so away from subic bay.

Its really a nice little town in between manila and subic.

So many nice and beautiful girls here.

But yes its a ghetto.

Abc is more expensive and you can walk to perimeter road or to fields from there but further out then.

Pacific breeze.

Angeles has some great girls. Don't tell everybody.

It depends where you meet the girl. If in a bar in EDSA or Burgos, there are 2 very different rates. If freelancer at Havana; different rates.

4- Bring your own there. There are some KTV if that is your thing and the only bar that was Filipino by the way, I think we were the only foreigners was located on 23 Naguilian Road. Nude dancing few girls, but nothing like the bars you are use to. If you haven't been to a Filipino strip bar before you will find it intimidating.

Greenhills is primarily a large shopping area in Mandaluyong (close to Ortigas) that specialises in counterfeit goods (bags, shoes, dvds, cell phones etc). It has a large number of Muslim traders especially for jewellery and pearls.

No bars there except for a few low level and local videoke joints although around the vicinity are some large KTV bars and a couple of high class comedy nightclubs (gays etc)

Greenbelt is a large development by the Ayala Corporation in Makati and is close to the center of all activity in Makati. High class shopping and lots of restaurants. Also Cafe Havana is situated there too.

They are about 30 mins apart if not peak traffic (we measure distances in Manila by time taken to get there and not by kms LOL)

Manila14I was in Manila couple of years ago. Browsing through the MBC talents and not finding anyone to my liking, I ask the help of a guide. He brought me to 3 places around Ermita near UN Avenue. I could not remember the names of the bars. Picked up one that I like the most and paid 2000 ST. Had a wonderful time. Best laid I got during that visit.

I did a couple of Manila casas during my first trip. 3000p all in to the pimp got me a girl for LT, but those prices were more like 4 or 5 years ago. The girls only asked for taxi fare in the morning, but YMMV. The casas were actually somewhere in the grungy part of Makati near Pasay City, but I'm not remembering the streets anymore. Of course the locals pay less, but you will never get the local rate. I'm sure there is a kickback in that fee for your taxi driver.

Selection is definitely YMMV but I did not see any girl at either casa that I would rate more than a 6. Typical arrangement is you walk into a large room where there are about 20-30 girls. If you like one, pay the pimp and take her back to your hotel. If you don't like any, no big deal, just smile, say "salamat" and move on.

CanyonIMHO it all depends what you are coming to the Philippines to do. If you are looking for non-stop cheap partying, then AC is your dream location. If you would rather have one girl during your stay and enjoy the Philippines, then you can find that in Manila or Cebu. If you have never been to the Philippines, then AC will blow your mind. I know a few guys that planned a day or two in AC and never left, they spent their trip in AC.

ABC is always my first choice, but you have to book early to get a room. ABC is located on Perimeter, but you can walk to Fields in about 5. 10 minutes. I have never stayed in Pacific Breeze, but I know where it is location and it is very close to Fields. The ABC IMHO is almost perfectly located in between Fields bars and Perimeter bars. Most Perimeter bars are open during the day (noon. 2 PM) and most Fields bars open late afternoon.

RamI'm agreeing with Ramp? Yes, I try to limit my time in MBC to 30 minutes. Unless I like the band upstairs, I don't usually even buy a drink. my second day report.

after having tried burgos i wanted to check out the infamous edsa complex.

figured it would be easy peasy to find it. got into a taxi and said take me to the edsa complex please. driver had no clue what i was talking about. i said, edsa complex with a lot of bars and girls. still no clue. tried to be creative and thought i remembered from this forum that there was a shangri-la near the bars. so i told driver to go to shangri-la edsa.

long story short, shangri-la is edsa is nowhere near the edsa complex. i got off and walked around several blocks before i realized and got into a new taxi. luckily this one did know about edsa complex. if others need a landmark, ask for hotel copacabana, it is just across the street from edsa.

Did a search and can't find anything current. Will be in Manila 20th-25th.

Easter week. Staying in Malate, visiting MBC of course.

Am worry that there will be a lack of talent and closures of many businesses.

Also I have a midnight flight back to ICN. Was thinking of going to Air Force One for late afternoon or early evening fun instead of keeping a room (that I probably won't use other than keep my bags in).

I assume that while I'm getting a massage they will keep an eye on my bags?

I arrive on Friday, guess I can expect to spend the night alone then. So you think there will be action on Saturday and easter Sunday?

So you think there will be action on Saturday and easter Sunday?Not everyone goes home for that weekend, but a lot do. It's almost as important as Christmas. There will be some availability of course if you aren't picky. The other thing to be aware is that a lot of businesses close for a few days so you may be limited to eating in the hotel at first. The malls may open on Saturday or Sunday, I can't remember exactly. It will be quiet that's for sure.

I was in Makati at easter 2008 and there was company to be found in Havana café (Greenbelt). Not as much choice as usual but it looked ok to me (I was with a yahoo freebie at that time)
