Do any of you know if you can charge a bar fine in Burgos to a credit card? It would be hilarious if I could truly claim a DATY session as an actual work meal. LOL.

I'll be there for 2 weeks from June 14th to the 29th. The company is footing the bill so I'm staying at the Makati Shangri-La. The annoying this is that I work EST hours, so I'll be at work from 8pm till 5am. My thought is that I go out the first night I get there (I arrive at 11pm) , pick up someone at Havana or at Burgos, but get numbers from girls. Jools on Burgos takes cc. Air Force One ditto. I always use my personal credit cards for Macau saunas and high end BKK soapy massage parlors like La Belle. I don't trust most girly bars with cc numbers. The obvious exceptions would be the Shangri-La bar and the Icon bar. But be careful about the name that will appear on the charge invoice. For example: Rio Sauna is billed as HOU WAN LOI ENTER CO. LTD. MACAU. In general it is not a good career move to have your hoochie expense charges questioned by the accounting department.

I want to say thanks to everyone for the information shared here. I've been locked in the USA doing local travel for the last 4 years and I've finally got my tickets to Manila. The last offshore trip I took was in El Salvador and you can read some of my reports from that trip in that forum. The last time I was in Manila was in 2004 for two months. It was the first time I had traveled offshore for work and as a typical noob would do, I went nutz. I paid and tipped like I was in the states and it didn't take long to earn the nickname Petey Peso. To be frank, the company was giving a straight cash per diem and it all felt like monopoly money to me. This time, the per diem is based on actual receipts so I am going to be more frugal. Do any of you know if you can charge a bar fine in Burgos to a credit card? It would be hilarious if I could truly claim a DATY session as an actual work meal. LOL.

Most if not all will take credit cards as will some of the hotels that have massage parlors such as Don Pedro, Phoenix and Eustacia. I believe some will even come out as "XXX Hotel and Restaurant". However, I would advise against it.

I know of a few people who expensed barfines that and when their bosses happened to come out, they also checked out the scene and soon found out what Blush Bar and Grill, Hollywood Restaurant, Rogues Bar, etc. Were. Some of their bosses were ok with it since they partook also but it only takes one to cause you to lose your job. Or, some may question how a dinner in a 3rd world country can cost $100 at a bar.

You may be able to get away with expensing $500, $1000 or more but is it worth possibly losing your job?

One guy I knew had a cosy expat position out here with a 6 figure salary, housing allowance, expense account, car, driver, maid etc. And lost it all for poor decisions such as these.

To each their own but I would really think before expensing barfines.

Natty Bumpo and Sugoi,

Thanks for the responses and advice. The credit card question was a bit of a joke, but now knowing that they are accepted, my mind is working hard at a solution. Frankly our accounting dept only checks to make sure the total bill is under a certain dollar amount, and as long as I get just a credit card receipt and not an itemized bill, I should be good. I do agree that this would be a very dumb way to be fired (I can only imagine the scandal if I was anybody important). However, I've been able to expense charges at the Larry Flint Hustler Clubs in the states without issue mainly because of the different name the charges show up as. So, if the Rio Sauna is billed as HOU WAN LOI ENTER CO. LTD. MACAU, that's perfect. I just label it as a meal expense and say that's the company that owns the restaurant.

It looks like I'll be making a return trip in July, so I may test the waters with one small charge this trip and make sure there are no issues.

Thanks again for the replies.

Thanks again for the replies. Again, it's up to you. The people I knew were expensing barfines for a couple of years and eventually it caught up to them.

I think one of their managers came out, asked some locals in the company about a "restaurant" that showed up on an expense report and claimed it must be good since one employee "ate" there so often and found out what type of place it really was.

The guy loved it over here, had multiple GFs and has been trying to find a job that would let him come back ever since. That was 5 years ago.

Amazonia in HK is great but for some reason it has never been any good in Manila. Like you though my best find in the area was / is from Amazonia. I am looking fwd to my next trip in few weeks when I once again hook up with one ex Amazonia waitress. Cowboy Grill is great I love the music but its just too loud to have a convo there. MBC remains the main bar and I can't see another cumming close but every time I am there I like to look around and see if there is something new.

I use to just do MBC / LA cafe and Amazonia until a friend showed me G Point and Cowboy Grill. Bar hopping has a lot to do with timing. Timing is everything, you just do not know what you will run into on a given time or day.

My two best finds were Amazonia bar on a very quiet evening. Never to be repeated.

If you notice most of the girls do the circuit from one bar to the next hoping to increase there chances. I would bar hop if I found a keeper but any other time I do not need the baggage.

I will check out that Hussy's out of a perverse curiosity that it may be ok. But like you said the main bars like LA Cafe (sorry its still LA cafe to me) usually have enough variety for most of us and that is where the majority will be.

Cheers

Then theres no question of fraud if the auditors get onto a case. Manila and BKK expenses are well known for audit trails simply because its hard work to spend US$100 in most places. An auditor whos worked in Manila would soon sniff something dirty. Whats the prob with paying personally and why rip the company off. If you are planning on staying with the company your potentially heading into unsafe territory.

Guys,

I can't find a are / t to Manila under $1, 500 from the East Coast. Cathay Pacific from JFK is the cheapest at $1, 600, followed by JAL ($2, 000) and Korean & Asian ($2, 000-$3, 000). Singapore Airlines flies out of EWR with 2 stops (Frankfurt, Singapore) and has no seats on coach. SQ flies out of JFK with a stop in Singapore and that costs $3, 500 or so.

From the West Coast again Cathay ($1, 600) beats Malaysian (retarded website) , China Airlines (Taiwan) , Air China (China) and Singapore Airlines. Only Philippines Airlines is cheaper at $1, 513. 10.

Please post any budget deals you maybe aware of.

Thanks

If you are planning on staying with the company your potentially heading into unsafe territory.I think you are reading too much into this, but I understand that what I wrote would lead you here. Although I was using the words expense and per diem, it's less complicated than that. I get an allotment of money each day (this is my incentive to travel for the company as they put it and it's a pretty decent amount) and I can use that allotment for meals, services, tips etc. I used to get the allotment in cash automatically in my bank account and didn't have to show proof that I spent it. Now I just have to show a receipt that said I spent it instead of pocketing it. Essentially, people were getting the money from the company and instead of using that during the trip, they would eat a free breakfast at the hotel, eat a $5 meal for dinner and then keep the rest of the money to take home and spend on luxury items. I knew the bars would take cards for drinks, but I was just curious if they'd throw the bar fine on the bill so I didn't have to fork over personal cash that I wouldn't need to spend if they did.

But to your point, if someone knew for sure what the money was being spent on (I. E. The yankee of my wankie) , they may lower the amount allotted for the trip or start requiring itemized bills. That's why I like the name of the charge to be vague. It would be a little obvious if the charge was for "Angel's Suck and Fuck Palace." LOL. Trust me when I say, I have no problem throwing my own money down for fun and I certainly will especially when I pick up a FL. So, to your last point, this is not about ripping off the company. On the contrary, it's a way for me to show them that I'm not ripping them off. C'mon, if I decide to use my money on a girl instead of a steak dinner, isn't that my choice? Hahaha. Hope this clears things up.

Depends on when you are flying. If it is within a few months, that may be as cheap as they get.

I am flying out of Chicago for just a little more than 1200. Maybe you can get a cheap fllight to there? Otherwise, just keep searching using Kayak.

An SML or two and a couple of bottled waters and my wits are always with me. Some common sense goes a long way. Even at my favorite bar in Manila when they have my favorite 2 for 1 drink, I have two and that's it. Got to keep the radar going all the time there. In AC the boozing just gets stupider and stupider. I lived and learned from that many many years ago in Central America and the DR. AC was like going back to high school. If I didn't know by that trip, then I would never learn .You're playing it pretty safe if you only consume a couple of SMLs. Other guys get buck wild on that Tanduay and Emperador. They couldn't tell you if an orangutan gave them a BBBJ when they sober up next morning to do it all over again.

Hope this clears things up.Actually, it's less clear. If a public employee went to Manila on public business, he would probably be eligible for some skimpy per diem rate for meals and probably get reimbursed for his hotel based on the receipted amount that he paid. So let's say he gorges on free "all you can eat" hotel breakfast, skips lunch, and eats a cheap supper at Jollibee or McDos. So by skimping on actual meal costs he has enough left over to buy an MBC freelancer every other night. If the public learned about it, they'd scream bloody murder about how their tax money went to feed the guy's little "wankie," and you'd likely be among them. So how is your idea about spending travel allowance on a girl instead of steak, and having it concealed in a credit card receipt, any different? The public employee's allowance was a set amount he can count on, and so is your daily expense allowance. Your argument seems to be that you're going to get the flat amount anyway, so why not just conceal what you're spending it on. Is there a difference in the two situations?

He has sometimes saved me several hundred dollars, but recently the savings have been only about $50 below the price I could have gotten by going directly to the airline's website. ThanksTo Pig,

If you are traveling in June to Sep fare is very high this year with high fuel cost, the lowest I got on Cathay pacific for end of July are 1395 USD inc tax from Cathay direct from SFO to Manila, I use to get lower fare from Travel agent in San francisco not any more, do check airline web site for speical fare but they book fast only a few sit on each flight.

My favorite thing was working on the comp when getting BBBJ and no one know about it. Enjoy.

I am going to make this brief, but who knows, I can ramble on quite a bit if I am in the mood to do so. At least I posted my sucker story 1 hour after the fact, instead of wait 1. 5 years. But the story is pretty similar. One thing is, I didn't even get a BJ ffs!

Walked by Mabini street, got called my a lady, kind of sales person type. I was planning on checking the Gold Coast bar and Red Rooster anyway, but she kinda showed me around. Red Rooster, no one I liked. Then on to the Red Garter. Same quality. It is around 7pm by the way. Then we by passed the Gold Coast bar. I think they are more FLs there so she can't get any commission from them. I didn't like either bar so she took me to a back alley bar, must be one of the local spots. I was not optimistic, but lo and behold, a hottie was sitting there, reading a book.

I took her, was told she is 18, I think she is more like 20. Negotiated with the mamasan, she wanted 2k, I said 1500 for LT and she caved. Was told to pay her the mamasan on the spot. (sign #1) I didn't know the routine, maybe its a barfine, whatever. In hindsight, it was a bad sign. Had to pay my "guides" 100php each for showing me around. BS, but whatever.

Walked to my hotel. She didn't have an I'd (sign #2) but my hotel didn't seem to care. WTF. Got to my room. I thought she was going to stay until morning, and I had a thumping headache from the bar hopping, so I thought lets take it slow. She looks young, lets play nice and maybe she will open up.

First thing she did when we got into the room (well kinda the 3rd thing after walking in, taking off shoes) , she jumped onto the bed and grabbed the joystick. Nono, not my joystick, but the TV remote (sign #3). Said she wanted to watch the news. Her family are in the typhoon affected province. So I let her watch. We cuddled and I needed time for my headache to pass anyway.

After I asked, she said she didn't bring any change of clothes. Hmmm (sign #4?) After about 30 minutes of tv time and making conversation, I started off kissing her. Slowly taking her clothes off. She said she was shy and kept hiding under the sheets (sign #5). Anyway, roamed and kissed. Even gave her a decent DATY. She was clearly enjoying it but didn't want to show me that she did (sign #6). After what I think was her coming. I laid down, and said "my turn". She didn't budge.

Oh fook me. I told her to give me a BJ. She said NO. Hohoho. The mask is off. So she expected me to do it myself? By now I have lost interest and so have my little friend. After about 5 minutes of silence. I told her to leave. She was reluctant at first. Come on, nice hotel, tv, no need to sleep in the bar with mosquitos and other hookers. I said, if you're not going to do anything, just go.

Oh and that's not the end. She had the audacity to ask me for a tip, please. I said heck no. You want me to tip you for watching tv and getting licked? At least she didn't persist, but can't blame a working girl for trying. Gave me a peck on the cheek and left.

This is why I love the BnG's in Vietnam. You are assured of satisfaction for just USD 10. Oh well. 1500 down the drain. And I am venting on ISG. Don't make the same mistakes I did.

Forum members often ask specifics about where to find extra service massage parlors in the Metro Manila area. I found this list online. It seems to be fairly up to date. I can't say it's exhaustive but its listings seem to be in locations that are "relatively" safe and easy to find for foreigners. The original source is hotlinked into the beginning of the file. I had no idea that this subject would cause this much controversy. Although to FreebieFan's point, I guess new subjects don't come up much, so maybe people are resistant to change.

Frankly, I'm not sure this is the right venue for having a political discussion on public vs private sector spending, but you asked a question and I'll try to answer it. It's difficult to answer your question directly as you've mixed a few issues together. It's kind of like asking someone,"Do your parents know you're gay?". It doesn't matter if they say yes or no, the question already makes the assertion that the person is gay, whether or not they actually are. So with that in mind, here we go.

First, there is a tax payer misconception that any public worker can only spend their money on what the public deems appropriate. For example, a government toll booth worker is paid entirely with tax payer money. If that toll booth worker decides on their own time to go to a strip club, get a drink and a lap dance and pay for it with the money they've earned on the job, how is it any of those tax payer's business? It's not. People try to make it their business, but it's not. Keep in mind there is a huge difference between an elected public sector worker and someone who is hired directly by the government. I'm assuming in your scenario that this is a hired public sector worker and not one who was elected into office. I make that assumption because in order to make a fair comparison, I have to use myself and I was not elected into my position at my company by taxpayers.

Second, should a private sector employee be held to the same tax payer misconception as a public sector worker? Two answers. First, no, simply because the question is based on a misconception that shouldn't be there to begin with. Second, no, because a private sector business can decide in a free market environment how they wish to spend their money. At the end of the day, the company made their money through supply and demand trading, and not because they forced the community to pay a percentage of their income to support said business whether they want to or not. Now, that company can have a say in how they wish their employees conduct themselves outside of work if they feel certain behavior would have a negative impact on the business. Keep in mind that this is only an issue if that behavior becomes or could become consumer knowledge. For example, if a UPS driver gets a DUI, that employee will likely lose their driving position if not their job altogether. But if a data entry clerk at UPS gets a DUI, they would likely not be as affected as the driver as driving responsibly isn't part of their job description. Now, as far as me concealing what I spend money on, it does not have any connection to company policy, nor do I feel I would lose my job if it were revealed how I like to spend my off time when I'm in the Philippines. In fact, my boss's boss is crazier than I am when he's in the Philippines. However, all individuals in this world carry their own sets of values and beliefs. With that in mind, I don't truly know the values and beliefs of all my superiors in the company. So, I choose not to let my superiors know how I spend my off time no matter where I'm at and what I'm doing. Simply because, as you pointed out with the taxpayers, people make judgment calls on other people's decisions based on their own values and beliefs. So, it's not that I only want to conceal a bar fine, I want to conceal all of my private business. This is something that I'm sure a lot of people in this forum would understand. Privacy is very important especially when one engages in the types of activities discussed here.

Third, we come to the topic that has generated the most conversation. Who's money does a daily stipend / per diem / travel allowance belong to, the company or the individual? Perhaps this is where we will have to agree to disagree. I personally feel that this money is an added part of my salary for the time I'm willing to travel away from home for the company. And as part of my salary, I can choose to do with it as I please. So, when I hear people say to just use my personal money on certain purchases, I agree. But I feel that I am, in fact, using my personal money. And frankly, so does the company I work for, so I'm not sure where the issue arises that I'm somehow stealing from the company as someone else mentioned. Now, perhaps some of the people who have an issue with this happen to work for companies that do not treat the daily allowance in this way, and that's fine. They agreed to that when they took the job and decided to travel for their company. But again, their experience doesn't equate to my experience.

At the end of the day, I simply asked the question if bar fines can be put on a credit card. How I wish to use that information is up to me. But, I do love conversation and I appreciate and value other people's positions and opinions. So, we can continue to discuss this, or we can move on to another topic. I actually have some more questions to ask, so I'll start new posts for those.

And while you are working on the computer, let her sleep or watch tv, and if you get annoyed with work, get a nice BBBJ while you are on a conference call or returning emails.

My favorite thing was working on the comp when getting BBBJ and no one know about it. Enjoy.

WThat's hilarious. I don't get too many opportunities to work from the hotel, but when I do I'm totally going to try this out. You all have such great ideas here.

Gosh guys sharpen up! If someone were to "google" the name of the billed credit card info it points STRAIGHT to this site! DUH. Go ahead. Type in "H* W* L* E* C*" into a google search and see what you come up with.

Please don't post cc info.

You guys kill me sometimes. Great point Susu Lover. I will do my best to not repeat that. I didn't even realize I did it when I replied back. Although by telling us exactly what to type into google, you kind of did it too. LOL

LOLLong time back, a sweet girl in Malaysia I was talking to googled my yahoo messenger name. And guess what. It redirected her to this website where she read about all my various adventures. She sent me a text advising me of this then never spoke to me ever again.

What prices should I expect to pay for bar fine in Makati? I know it will be different in different bars. But just range. I definitely want long time. I heard figures like 3900 pesos for bar fine, then you have to give the girl 2000 pesos and tip her.

How about street girls? Are they relatively safe in makati? I would not touch a street girl in AC, but last time I was in makati, the street girls where smoking hot.

Thanks for any info, I will be there on June 6 and 7th.

The prices more or less work out to the same as edsa entertainment complex. Honestly its been ages since I've bar fined but this was my friend's experiences.

I was in mirrors and blush Wednesday night. I have been pretty down on burgos the last few years. But I was surprised.

These two bars were rocking with lots of hot chics. And the beer was cheap! I think like p75 per smb.

As usual I was the only foriegner in both bars.

I hope the street becomes popular again. It really is an amazing source of fun for anyone manila bound.

Hi CM, well, if the the cups have a dick down below count me out. I like surprises but not that kind of surprise.I highly recommend the newly released movie, Hangover 2. It is set in Thailand. It does not have as many hilarious surprise transitions as the original Hangover movie, but there's a fair amount of monger humor in it that passed over the heads of most of the youthful audience when I attended-and some surprises along this theme that did not pass over the heads of anybody in the audience.

Thanks for any info, I will be there on June 6 and 7th. Your info on barfine in Makati sounds correct. But if you get there during Happy Hour, you can usually get a half-price on the barfine. And better yet, if you just talk to the girl you can probably talk her into just coming to your hotel when she gets off work. I've never missed with this approach. My worst experience was that the really hot girl who I wanted to come to my room go barfined by someone else, so she sent her somewhat less hot friend. I was horny enough that I kept her and she performed admirably for a second-stringer. As for 2, 000 plus time. I consider 2, 000 to BE the tip, and I've encountered no more than token attempts to extort more money.

Third, we come to the topic that has generated the most conversation. Who's money does a daily stipend / per diem / travel allowance belong to, the company or the individual? I personally feel that this money is an added part of my salary for the time I'm willing to travel away from home for the company. And as part of my salary, I can choose to do with it as I please. At risk of carrying on too long about this, I think the bottom line does not rest on some set of misconceptions about whose decision it is to decide how public or private employees use their expense allowances.

Several months ago a terrorist bomb exploded in a bus on EDSA and killed four or five people. GE observed that his company forbids its employees in the Phils to ride on public transit precisely because of the risk of terrorist attacks. I argued that this was illogical, because the probability of being killed in a private auto accident was much greater than the probability of being one of the few killed over the years in bomb attacks on Manila public transit. He pointed out that from the vantage point of his company, it's not about logical probability, it's about the likely external perception of irresponsibility on the part of the company for not having taken preventative action. His point made sense.

I think the bottom line of this discussion is similarly about external perception, not about our rights to use expense account money in any way we choose. I remember hearing a popular elected official say that his metaphor for making ethical decisions in his work as a public servant was the "7-11 rule": if he couldn't justify it after the fact to average folks he'd meet in the 7-11, he shouldn't do it. Public servants live in much more of a fishbowl than does the average private sector employee. Just ask Mark Sanford, Eliot Spitzer, John Ensign, John Edwards, Bill Clinton, and many others whether their decisions about what they do in private rest on some legal basis of privacy or in some court of public perceptions. Clearly it's the latter, and although non-elected public officials may be in slightly less of a fishbowl scenario, even their actions can come to roost in the court of public perception.

Arguably there's a much greater zone of discretion for private sector employees, and they're generally less prone to the fishbowl situation. But even there the pressure of external perception can come crashing down on the employee who overdoes it. If you get caught with your pants down and it hurts the company image, the employer is not going to be particularly forgiving, and the private sector employer has a lot more latitude to can your ass and give you no recourse to legal protection.

So in the bottom line it's really about external appearances, not whether you have a right to spend your expense account however you want. If you happen to have a lot of latitude within your organization's culture for partying on the company dime, more power to you. But keep in mind that the boss's boss may not be in that organizational role forever, and maybe his replacement is somebody in the organization who's been taking notes on actions by others in the organization-that can be turned against them if they become competitors or if he perceives them to be a threat to his authority.

FF gave some very good advice several days ago: do your mongering on your own dime.

I agree, as I usually do, with Skip. Plus, I would add, it's simply not a smart thing to do. Companies can write off the business expenses of their employees as legitimate tax deductions. I don't think though that using expense money to party with hookers falls into the category of legitimate business expense, unless the tax rules in Europe and the US have gotten a lot more lax since I used to live there. Beyond that, anyone on business travel is, whether on the clock or off, implicitly at least representing his company. Getting caught with your pants down on the company's dime doesn't really create a terribly positive image of the corporation one is ostensibly representing. In my mind, it's not about the fine points of ethical behavior. It's about common sense and discretion.

...But to your point, if someone knew for sure what the money was being spent on (I. Hahaha. Hope this clears things up.Agree with GE on all counts, except to me its all about all of the above: ethical behaviour, common sense and discretion.

PP, if you had an 'entertainment expense' of sorts and chose to entertain your clients at Rio in Macau or at Asian Entertainment in MNL for example, that would be a different story. Although few western companies doing business in Asia would agree and accept that this is 'part and parcel' of doing business in Asia, and provide for this correspondingly, if anything because it takes some creativity to account for it (overheads?).

Hi Guys, I just returned from an arousing trip to the PI and VN. Best ever (out of six visits)! I am happy to report the the action on Burgos street is alive and well. I was swarmed by five lovely Pinays at Bottoms whose names were Daphne, Katerina, Lika, MJ and Aya. All five took turns blowing me right there in the bar. What a treat! The "winner" was big-boobed Aya (of course) who got a 500P tip and went to my hotel after her shift for another few hours of pure pleasure!

The next night six girls from High Heels took turns blowing me right there in the bar. Names unrecalled except 19 yo Julie who had a nice rack on her so she won the 500P prize for getting me off. Later, Lynn from Ivory Jungle was fun to play with, as well as Neera and Una from Jools who I took upstairs for private dance and menage-a-trois!

Absolutely delightful!

Stayed at Great Eastern Hotel in Makati, inexpensive and near the action.

In Malate I stayed at the Eurotel right across from Robinson's Mall and more importantly, three blocks away from the Manila Bay Cafe where I hooked up with several hotties whose photos will be posted when I have time to do so. Let's see there was curly-haired Sheryl, Thania who playspool there in the mornings. Big boobs and very sweet; Denise the D Cup beauty of the week winner and Krystal.

I was happy to introduce two US Navy ensigns. PI rookies. To MBC. Last time I saw them they weregrinning ear-to-ear surrounded by more lovely Pinay pussy than imaginable.

I use a Filipino travel agent in the LA area. He has sometimes saved me several hundred dollars, but recently the savings have been only about $50 below the price I could have gotten by going directly to the airline's website. Another forum member recently told me about a great price he got by shopping carefully through Kayak. You should be able to book through Hawaiian Air for September for $1080 from LAX for sure right now.

I had my gf living with me on this last trip. I told her she could live with me as long as she let me bring girls over for 3 somes anytime I wanted. Her only stipulation was that they couldn't be professionals.

As I work in the night, I don't have time to set up dates that are willing to have 3 somes.

So I hired a secretary to do it for me. On average I had 1 to 2 dates a day. Even though they knew they were going to meet my gf, about 1 in 5 actually went through with the 3some. About 1 in 2. 5 went with me to the bedroom alone. The others weren't into sex or were to fugly to worry about.

By the end of the trip I had over 150 girls on the list to date. It would have been more, but I found 2 fuck bunnies, plus my gf to keep very super satisfied. I sure do like the non pro's better than the pro's.

The best part of my dates is that I almost NEVER spoke with them until I saw them in person. My secretary pretended it was me while on the dating websites and over text. Only rarely would the girl need a confirmation that I was truly a boy. All those calls were under 1 minute. I paid my secretary 600 a day, plus 100 for every NEW girl I banged, or 300 for every 3 some.

I have now left Manila, so if anyone needs a pre-trained secretary, you can have her until August. Send me a PM.

Guys,

Did you know that if you barfine a girl and take her back to your room and she does not perform, then you can take her back to the bar and get a refund on your bar fine? Its the ultimate shame for the girl because the Mamasan will get angry with her so you can threaten her with this if she does not measure up.

It has happened to me twice. Once I barfined a couple of girls, we went bar hopping and the one that had never been with a foreigner before was getting cold feet. So I said, lets go back to the bar that I go your from and I will get my bar fine money back. The other girls talked her out of it and she ultimately peformed.

Another time I had the girl back in the room and she was crying about issues with family and wanted to leave before she did anything. I kicked out and was too lazy / drunk to go all the way back to the bar to get my refund.

One of the reasons I joined the Navy! On Burgos it happens a lot. Buy a bottle of tequila at rogues and see what happens. The 500 peso price is a cheaper version LOL, but you in certain bars (bottoms, high heals, rogues and few others) almost anything goes for the right money.

AC has its dirty bars and games. I remember the times of the 1000peso bill in san mig bottle for girls to take turn trying to lift the note with their pussy. AC is quite these days with the raids but venture outside the tourist area and you will find much wilder clubs where sometimes you can see full nudity and so on.

Their smoking section is an elevated area to the right that just has a row of 4 booths. At least 4-5 girls would always come to join me and I usually bought a round of drinks for however many I wanted to stay. Never failed to get a blowjob out of it. The hottest pinay I have ever done, and the list is quite lengthy as I spent equivalent of two years there over three year period, came from Bottoms. She would actually rate as one of the prettiest for me from anywhere. Beautiful cherry girl innocent face, small spinner size with the most spectacular tits I have ever held. Perfect firm, full C cups that on her little frame looked like DD. Wish I had been on here at the time it would have occurred to me to take pics. Wish there was a snowballs chance she would still be around when I finally get to go back in a few weeks. Bottoms always had a handful of true 8-10's, but is just too damn expensive.

I think that's a perfect way of saying it. I have a daily "entertainment expense' account. I just get to decide how I want to be entertained. All the company wants is a receipt to validate that the charges were mine. They don't ask how I entertained myself and I don't tell them. Simple as that and end of story.

Thank you sir for helping me clarify it better. If people still have a problem with it at this point, that's on them. Now on to new and better questions.

We exit the bar and Reggie is laughing to himself because the place he had in mind is the Red Garter, right next door.

Karaoke starts and they want the punters to get up there. One guy is all over it straight away, a bit of a plodder, so I'm inspired to sign up. First of all, great posts Dezzy. Really enjoyed them.

Second, this is the first I've heard of a place in Manila doing karaoke where it's all in the open bar area where everyone can hear and not in private hosted rooms. Granted I haven't been there in 7 years, but when I was there for 2 months in 2004 I couldn't find a place like this. Is the Red Garter the only place like this in Manila? Or are there other bars around that do this, especially in the Makati area? I'm a bit of a karaoke nut, but I don't want to sit in a room and sing to myself.

There are a lot of Japanese and Korean KTVs with this type of setup all over the city. I know there is one upstairs next to the Wendy's on Makati Ave but forgot the name of it. You shouldn't have a problem finding one.

On two separaate occasions during my last trip, I had non performers. Both wanted to leave early without a single pop. One in AC, one in Cebu.

I put the fear of god into each one, and took her back to her bar for a refund.

Both bars refunded without quibbling.

The key to success in my opinion is to get the girl so afraid of the consequences that she asks the bar to refund.

I do not want my girls intimidated or scared. Talk about a mood killer. I want them happy and in a good mood; ready to have a good time in bed with me. But:

1. If they want to leave early after one session; I say good riddance and give them 75% of the LT rate. I mean, first I try to sweet talk them out of it, but if they insist on leaving, then sayonara. No tip for you.

2. I have never had a girl refuse to shag me after I take her out of the bar – a real non performer. If I encountered that, I would immediately take her back to the bar and ask for a refund. No discussion. I won't deal with a total non performer. FCK her for wasting my time!

The key to my success is to interview (screen) the girls well before I take them home. It is an audition and they must either pass it or I pass on them. I know this is not foolproof, what is? But I rarely have runners or starfish. Who knows, maybe I am just lucky (I kind of doubt it).

I had few runners who want to leave for one reason or another but these girls I was happy to part with. Me and those girls did not click anyway.

Never had anybody refuse to have sex one time minimum. There were some who complained of pain and after I used lubricant things were better.

Vast majority would stay overnight with min one shot in the morning. Many also stayed the whole next day hoping that I will barfine again. Some I did but others I told them to go back to work.

For me it is a business transaction and as buyer I do what I want.

Can anyone advise on the best time of year to visit Manila / Angeles City? I'm debating whether to go in maybe June or August. Is there a best time of the season to visit in terms of available women and weather? Thanks.

I suspect towards end of September or mid-October the weather will start to turn bad again. Right now is hot and dry. You can never really predict this years' weather due to el nino patterns.

As far as availablility, avoid holidays, especially December. Most girls like to go back to home province in those times to celebrate. Other than that it's up to luck.

Top two questions to ask in an "interview"

1. Are you willing for LT?

2. Are you on your mens (period)?

dated several bargirls over the years and got much insite to their thinking, which is very little. Most will be upfront with you if you ask directly. There are a few that will lie depending on their circumstances. Be aware that there are a few different understanding of the term ST. Some will say it's one hour, some will say one pop. I've had a few that were ST but stayed for 2 hours maybe longer. So, it's best to ask upfront to make sure everyone is thinking the same.

I agree with Natty the bar girl just don't make little money from barfine all the greety bar owner is getting rich from the girl, I hope AC do it like Manila just 500 peso barfine and we tip the girl for ST or LT, I just go to disco now for freelance pick up most girl is happy with 1000 peso in the morning and I will take them out for lunch or breakfast, I only have problem with runner just the last 3 yr it is getting worst and need to tell the girl I will tip them in the morning for them to stay.

It does not matter what they agree to before. Sometimes things click and they want to make you very happy. Other times they will try any which way to make you unhappy. It is hard to say.

I called the bluff on one girl who said she was on mens and had to give a big tip to the maid to clean up. However it was all night fun and she was horny. Whenever I see her we have a good laugh about it. Couple of other girls I called the bluff in fact did not have mens or though they had. I believe they were told by other girls even if they have light spotting to avoid sex otherwise they catch disease. It is hard to say who is telling the truth and who is lying.

It is better to order ladydrink only after discussing if she is interested in barfining. But most of the time it is hard to keep your wits. Just like gambling you get swept away in the atmosphere.

Most of the rest of the day is fine unless a Typhoon comes thru. Philippines averages about 25 Typhoons per year (June-Oct) of which about 5 hit Manila. Last year I went to Manila airport for an early morning flight after a typhoon and there were no planes on the tarmac. After about an hour they all starting landing as they had spent the night in other places around Philippines not affected by the Typhoon. My flight was only delayed 2. 5 hours. I have also been caught a couple of times out in the islands of Philippines when a typhoon has come thru and the boats back do not run for a few days.

If you are a scuba diver, the season is Nov-May. The rest of the year is divable but currents are stronger and visibility is lower. If you are a golfer, then get a mid-morning tee time so you are back before the 4pm rains.

Since Mongering is an inside activity, the only thing you need to worry about is getting wet between bars when bar hopping.

The most common and preferred KTVs in Phil are the open area KTVs, so you can sign, serenade your loved one. And flirt girls. Which don't work in Private rooms.

And a twist of it in SIngapore, the open KTVs, are 90% Filipino. And the hookers, though they are, like to be 'courted' and the KTVs are the place to do it.

The Philly bars. 9 out of 10, are licensed as KTVs, though the singing stops late in the evening.

Some fun. When you see a drunk guy singing a tagalog some to his country-girl, when she is sitting with a non-Filipino, and often beer mugs go flying when the BF of the filipina figures out that the song was an invitation song from the Filipino guy.

Do you hint that she might be found in a dumpster the next morning with a San Miguel up her arse?Don't think any girls ever got killed for being taken back to the bar, and filipinos rarely kill their own type, when it involved a foreigner's complaint.

The bars and barfine, are just a cover for selling sex, and everybody pretends it is not, with the law and all. And the girls know it, though they can twist and say it was a 'paid date' a-la Jap style, and if so, they should tell that the payment for BF is for a date only. So the buyer (us) know what you are paying for.

Me. Had a couple of runners, before I took back one and told the mama that I don't want a refund of the bar fine, but I want to discount back the LDs I paid, and in effect, screwing the girl out of the commission money she makes. Well, I did feel bad about it. But. The next time I was there, I had fewer admirers, and then again, those who came to me knew the score. That is not going to be a jap-style. Korean-style paid date, so after the dinner, she can go back to screwing the brains off her lover, thanks to a gullible punter like me paying her EWR.

PS: Sarcasm doesn't work with pinays. The few times I sarcastically told the girl to get lost, and do what she wants, the answer was "I knew you are a kind person.." I wanted to find the shortest rope and hang myself.

after a few not too succesful trips to manila i finally had a great success!

on day one i arrived late, around 10pm to my hotel. had arranged for a dia girl to meet me, had a great session. she came straight to my room, and after a bit of awkwardness agreed we would just spend the night in the room. great deepthroat and bbbj. girls was 22, ex singer in korea. pics coming later.

next day went to pharaoh ktv, they asked me if i wanted manager or assistant manager, don't know what that meant so said i was first timer. later i stared wondering if it would have affected the girl line up.

anyways, was greeted upstairs by mamasan who took me to the fishbowl, many nice girls there, hard to choose, most girls in range 7-9.

after picked my girl, was taken to my ktv room which was quite small and no bathroom, so my hopes of getting extras dropped down. i know from another bro that they have bigger rooms with toilets attached.

but will not give up without a try so was explained the price, room charge was around 3k, but is waived if total spending is more than 3k. lady per hour is 1200, and whiskey red label at around 4k, and black label at around 7k (they had other drinks also).

ordered black label.

my girl was a bit nervous, said she had to get drunk a bit, which i was happy to help with

after a while she got more relaxed and did the first body shot, very nice. then i asked why i got such a small lousy room with no toilet, and if it is possible to have extra. she said it is possible in big room. 5k, then she will tell mamasan to instruct the waiters to stay away and noone enter etc. the room i had, had a door with a window, although it was covered a bit, people could still peek inside from outside, so she said it is not possible to have extra there. thanks to my great charm and persuasion she still went on to do some great bbbj though, although she was very afraid mamasan or someone would see it and she did some very sexy dancing. once she went to toilet, and when she came back she realised she had forgot to put on her panties hahahaha. anyways, was great fun. stayed 3 hours, did not take out, would have been 8k. got her number and she said she would join me after closing hours together with a friend for 3-some, if she did not have customer. so i left without tipping her for the bbbbj! only tipped the waiter 100 and mamasan 500 on instruction from the girl.

after this i went to republic, cause wanted to see it. closing time there was 5pm, so could wait for my pharaoh girl. republic is like a big normal club, like zouk, not much of a pickup wibe there. more of see and be seen place, where you bring your own crew for fun.

at 3pm the pharaoh girl did not respond though, i figured she got a customer and went to burgos at 3. 30pm. at burgos i wanted to test if it is possible to get bbbj in the bar, and it turned out you can. in the place just below bottoms. don't remember the name, i actually got in the back of the place downstairs for 500 tip to a girl and also from a young mamasan! i did not know she was mamasan she only told later, and said that is why she is not allowed. and even for the girl it is not allowed to give in the club. obviously the rules are not too strict, cause as long as they tried to cover it noone seemed to care. tipped both 500 each. agreed to give 1k if they made me cum but they failed, or rather, was hard to concentrate cause where we were sitting there would be guys walking past all the time so i chose to stop it

then went to another bar, found a real gem. 18 years with a half sister of 22, both making out with me and after a couple of body shots, the younger giving me a bbbj! took the 18 year back to my room at 5pm! great session, another deepthroater! will post pics later. gave her 3k, no barfine cause she came after closing hours.

so to summarize my second night, had bbbj's in the ktv, and in two bars in burgos. this is up to your nego skills i believe though, be nice, clean and smell good, and by them a drink, seemed to work for me. or do whatever d cup did.

my cost at pharaoh ended up around 10k with the whiskey and ld. still have half a bottle left.

bonus, the girl from pharaoh texted me later, said she had got a crisis with her mother, but would see me next time. you never know but can always hope.

phils is picking up!

I'm talking more about Cebu, but probably the same in Manila. I know they just missed a few typhoons last week. But never in my most debaucherous days did I spend 12, 000 + running from bar to bar looking for a BJ.Maybe it's just me, but it didn't sound like Liondale was running from bar to bar spending 12k looking for a BJ. He spent 10K on a bottle of whiskey and some LDs of which he has half a bottle of the whiskey left (granted 7k for a bottle of Black label seems like Vegas bottle service prices, but that's his decision).1k was for two 500 peso tips for a BJ in the back of a different club. To me, that's pretty reasonable considering his mind is working off of a half bottle of whiskey at this point and if he is / was new, the girls might have tried to take him for much more. The final 3k was for full service (although he mentions the deep throat, he doesn't say that's all he got) fun back at the hotel. Sure, if you add it up, it was a high price night, but it wasn't like the guy was just focused on getting lucky, as he also wanted to drink and enjoy himself. I have a friend who's had nights like these in the states and it's cost him a few thousand US dollars each night.

If you are going to have nights like these, it's hell of a lot better to have them in the Philippines than the states. And, it looks like he really only spent 4k on the actual girls, so he's not (as some people complain) raising the costs on everyone else. Just my two cents.

I went to 15 bars in Manila (only a small sample) and the Red Garter was the only one where the punters were invited up to do karaoke in the open bar. It was also possible "by request" in JAPLAC and Bistro, though in those places it was nothing more than a "special" interruption to a live set, so a bit awkward.

At Red Garter, the host sang two or three songs, and then the punters sang the rest. Good fun. A nice atmosphere there as well. RG is geared towards foreign visitors too, so at least everyone knows the songs. That was a plus point, because I didn't have to sit through tunes I had never heard before in my life.

I might try the KTVs next time. Sounds pretty interesting.

Was it worth it to me. Totally. 20, 00 in 3 days may also be a lot for some but not for others.

Moneys value is relative and the value of money is relative. We all see it in different ways. Agreed on all fronts. I spent 28000 in four days last month, so we have roughly the same spending rates. All spent in different ways to you, but similar outcomes. I spent exactly what I wanted, bought what I wanted and never once budgeted or worried. Not a huge amount, but enough for me.

You're exactly right. Different folks spend different sums based on their tastes and means.

i was saving this report to post with my other 2011 south east asia trip reports which included visits to hkg, macau, ac, mnl, palawan, bkk, and penh, but since the subject of bbbj's inside burgos street bars has come up, i feel it is the right time to post this.

this was my first trip to the philippines. i had just spent 5 days in ac. it was my 2nd night in makati: around 8pm i went to rogues bar. this is an interesting and raunchy bar popular with expats and travelers like me because the drinks are priced right, the atmosphere is real good, they play decent rock, and the girls are plenty horny. i highly recommend the place. instead of one stage in the front, there are a series of small one girl / two girl stages rep001tered all around the place. most of the girls just hang about. as soon as i walked in, a slightly overweight girl tried to attach herself to me. i extricated myself and ordered a beer. then i took my time checking things out. the bar was pretty crowded with customers and girls, but i did not see any girls that wowed me. one girl standing with another girl to my right looked kind of sexy but it was hard to tell in the dim light. anyway i kept looking around, but i couldn't help looking back her way from time to time and she obviously noticed that. soon the other girl was tapping me on the shoulder. she turned out to be a cousin of the girl i was attracted to who was standing right behind her. the cousin asked if i wanted some company and if i liked the attractive girl. i said yes to both questions. i offered them drinks. they ordered san miguel light and they sat down next to me at the bar. close up i could see the girl (ella) was in fact attractive in a sleazy / sexy way and i knew why i dug her. she had a pretty face, stood around 5'6', was thin but not too thin and had small 'b' cup breasts. she said she was 24. the loud rock music was making conversation difficult. i saw an empty booth against the wall and suggested that we go there so we could talk better. when we walked over to the booth, the cousin got a cloth from somewhere and wiped the cushions. at the time i thought this was strange and that i had never seen that before, but later i understood why she had done this.

we sat down. ella was on my right and the cousin was on my left. immediately, both girls started rubbing up to me with their bodies and both girls started rubbing my crotch. i leaned over and started kissing ella while the cousin started rubbing her tits against my shoulder. i got instantly hard and was enjoying this turn of events. in between making out, the girls explained the rogues bar system. we were sitting in a booth with a curtain you could draw to make it completely private. the girls explained that for 1500 pesos paid to the bar and a certain amount of tip (not sure how much) , they would draw the curtain and then give me a blowjob or i could shag one or both of the girls. they also told me that there were vip rooms nearby in case i wanted a little more privacy. i did not quite get how much the vip rooms were or understand what they were like. sorry guys, the music was loud and i did not hear everything the girls were telling me. i got the jist of it however.

i told the girls my standard pi line that i handed out in all the ac bars. this line always got a laugh from the bar girls; 'i am a cherry boy and this is the first time i have been to the philippines. ' ella and her cousin loved it too and said that in that case they would give me a blowjob on the house. ella excused herself to go to the bathroom to remove something she had covering her pussy. not sure what that was. at this point i was just going with the flow and the good vibes. while ella was gone, another girl dropped by to say hello, and the cousin explained to me that the new girl was ella's best friend, angela. the best friend was tall and thin like ella with 'a' cup tities. she was just as sexy if not more so than ella (again in a sleazy / sexy kind of way). angela sat down next to the cousin on my left. ella returned and sat down next to me on my right. ella put my hand under her dress on her pussy to show me that now all she was wearing was a thin little panty and i had free access to her vagina. a few words were spoken among the girls. the cousin got up and stood in front of the booth so no one could see the three of us remaining sitting inside even though the curtain had not been drawn. now i had ella on my right and angela, the best friend on my left and both girls started to unbuckle my belt and unzip my trousers. damn, these two girls had my dick out and both of them were giving me a hand job. i started kissing both girls and i enjoyed feeling up ella's b cups and then her friends 'a' cups. ella leaned over and under the table and started to give me a bbbj. with my right hand massaging ella's back, i turned to my left and continued making out with the best friend. the cousin stood as sentry in front of the booth. it was a wild scene, man. ella stopped short of making me cum and came up for air. then the best friend went down on me under the table. as i made out with ella, i reached below her skirt and started playing with her clit. ella started to get wet.

i could have had both girls right then and there any way i wanted, but after a while i pulled angela up. i was really enjoying the action and having the girls do me in public so to speak, but i guess i really was a 'cherry boy' because i was a little reluctant to cum in the booth on my first visit to rogues. looking back on it, i think i should have let the girls get me off. oh well, next time for sure! both girls were still clinging to me and we started talking. ella and her friend suggested that i bar fine both of them and take them back to my hotel. they were duly impressed that i was staying at the makati new world. the cousin came back and sat down. she wanted to be part of the action too. reluctantly i told her i could only take two girls and it would have to be ella and angela. the cousin was a little let down but hey, what could i do. i felt a little sorry for her so i gave her a 300p tip before we left and told her maybe tomorrow night i would take her. she seemed ok with that. i paid the ewr of 1500p per girl and the girls each wanted 2000p 'tip' for lt. i assumed as much and did not feel like bargaining. this is a good price for this level of talent on burgos street and the girls certainly passed the audition. everybody seemed happy and i bought another round of drinks for the girls. i zipped up my pants and told ella and angela to get their street clothes on so we could leave. then the three of us took a taxi back to the new world. we walked through the metal detector, the elegant lobby and then went up the elevator arm in arm with some other guests. we must have been quite an interesting sight. no one at the hotel batted an eye. i think i love makati.

in the room, after playing soapy shower with both ella and angela, the girls gave me another blowjob, together this time on the bed. one girl sucked my dick while the other licked my balls and then they changed positions. i was pretty much attracted to both girls equally, but i pulled ella up and started making out with her as angela continued to blow me. then i suggested to angela that she put a condom on me and ride me cowgirl. ella continued to make out with me. it was great and i knew i could not last long. after it was over both girls cleaned me off and i suggested we all take another soapy shower together. bumping and washing, kissing and laughing; it was not long before i was hard again. now it was ella's turn. we started out mish. both girls were lying side by side so i kissed ella then angela then ella again as i shagged ella. it would have been nice to pull out of ella and go right into angela and back and forth, but most times i have suggested this in an asian ménage, the girls ask me to change condoms. this would naturally kill the fun so i did not even bother to ask it this time. i just shagged ella in multiple positions and angela massaged my balls from behind when i was in the doggy position with ella. the girls, although best friends, were not bisexual. they kissed each other one time and only when i asked them to. ella and i finished up in reverse cowgirl as angela and i made out passionately.

when it was all over we relaxed on the couch. i had bought a bottle of vodka earlier and we all enjoyed vodka and oj as we watched tv. i cuddled with the girls a little in bed before i went to sleep. around 4 or 5 in the morning, i turned over in my sleep and angela whispered in my ear if i wanted to make love. i said sure. i guess i already had a hard on, cause the condom went on and i was inside angela in moments. ella woke up and stated kissing me. sometimes the morning shag is the best shag; not as much action, but deeply felt. i climaxed and fell back asleep. i woke up for real around 8am. the girls looked at me waiting for me to decide what to do next. i suggested that we all take another soapy shower. the girls got me hard again and this time they both blew me in the shower. it felt so good having both girls go down on me at the same time. i decided to let nature take its course and just cum in one of their mouths. five or ten minutes went by, ella was sucking my cock when the feeling started rising inside of me. i told her she was amazing and that i was going to cum. angela started making out with me and i exploded. ella let go of my dick as the last spurts shot out on her chest. we cleaned up and got dressed. i only had two passes for the hotel buffet breakfast so i did not ask the girls to join me. i let them both see me place their 'tips' in their purses as ella was combing her hair and angela was doing her makeup in front of the mirror. i included an extra 200p per girl for the good time they had shown me. they asked me if i would be coming back to rogues in the evening. i kissed both of them passionately and i told them i would try. i walked them down to the front door and waited until their taxi turned onto the street before i turned around and headed to the coffee shop. it was a great night. my only regret is that in all the heat and excitement, i forgot to take out my camera and snap some pictures.

I will only be in Manila (Makati) 2 days for business but really only 1 free day. Are there good day-time spots to have some fun or is MP the best option?

Natty, great report. Are there any other bars in Makati / Manila wher bjs are available? Sounds like fun.

Thanks Petey.

Sounds like I definitely need to go to the Red Garter one evening. The last time I was in the Philippines, people kept trying to take me to places like the Red Box in Greenbelt which is not my style. It would be great if there was a place in Makati that was like the Reg Garter so I didn't have to take a taxi to downtown. Although that would give me an excuse to head over to MBC. If anyone knows of a place in Makati that does karaoke like the RG, please feel free to share.

My countdown to my Makati arrival is down to 10 days. I feel the same anxious excitement I did right before Christmas as a child. I wonder which present I will unwrap and play with first. Although, I always did like to open two presents at the same time though. LOL

I don't understand guys who complain about what others guys spend, complain about, prices and such yet these same guys turn around and boast about how successful they are in life and how they have traveled what worthless material possessions they have acquired etc.

22, 000 Peso over a three day period is a pittance. A pittance to you maybe. We don't know if thats spent on girls directly, or hotels and such. In Manila, in 3 days, one can get 3 evening LT's (1500 each) + 3 afternoon ST's (1000 each) [all different girls], for p7500 (just for the girls, not drinks or hotels). So ya, it could be seen as more than a pittance. Yet if FF is fine with it, I am.

I recognize that this is a somewhat pointless debate, as what's a pittance to some is a substantial investment to others, and what's fun for some may be undesirable for some as well. This reminds me of a similar debate raging on another board hosted by Yahoo, about the costs of living here and the relationship of the costs of living in the Philippines compared to living in Europe or the States. It's another debate that's incapable of resolution.

Some of the guys in the Yahoo group claim to live well on $500 a month, including rent. Others contend that while that's not possible, they live well on $1, 000, while others insist that they spend $5, 000 or more. I'm sure that all are correct, and that the concept of "living well" is predicated on personal standards of acceptability. I'm guessing it's the same situation here. Some guys are delighted with Php1, 500 pick-ups in MBC or similar places, while others recoil from this and prefer higher-priced, perhaps more sophisticated women from commercial service organizations. Who cares so long as the individual punter is happy with the choices he's made? Just as an aside, I recently returned from a two-day business trip to Makati, and in my forays noticed guys wearing clothes I wouldn't even sleep in to guys in $2, 000 suits; who am I to say which ones were happier?

Have a forthcoming Manila trip that I have determined will be slightly different to the endless procession of "Hi how are you lets bonk " that I usually have.

Last trip bought an absolute sweetie from Cebu to Manila where we had 24 hours of magic. Sweet. 19 with permanent smile, and has an attitude that will never say no.

So for this trip, I'm going to have her for 60 hours. Have the school uniforms (2) , the leather bondage wear, the nurse outfit, and various other pieces of see thru slutwear packed. Last time I took 200 pics of this little darling, this time maybe 500. Anyways will be a welcome change of pace for me.

Of course after she departs I have two or maybe 3 other ladies who might also enjoy The Freebie Experience LOL.

Separately, does anyone know anything about Ayalas Nuvali project?

And now please excuse me, I have to take a train from Taipei to Taicung where a 22 yr old Filipina is in need of The Freebie Experience!

This discussion about prices, tips and payments has been had many times before.

It seems to me that there are two components to the debate.

How much an individual spend on themselves and / or others.

And the prices that people pay for specific personal services such as massage, sex, etc.

There is a fundamental rule in any country, and that is to pay no more than the local going rate. Otherwise you distort the market.

But there are guys here who say that they do not care, it is up to them as to what they pay.

That is an invalid argument, spoken out of ignorance.

I think mostly because they have never personally experienced the effects of this type of behaviour to understand the after effects.

I have two examples.

First, during the Vietnam war, Australia was a R&R centre for US servicemen. Mostly in Sydney.

They had pockets full of dollars, did not care what they paid, spent money like drunken sailors.

The price of everything escalated dramatically, grog, bars, women, taxis, hotels, tours. A lot of my mates, also military, were really angry that their lifestyle was severely impacted, and there was a lot of ill feeling towards the visiting American servicemen. Once the war was over, and the yanks went home, prices did not return to pre-war levels, because additional costs had now been built into most things. So the effect was permanent.

Worse, many of the poorer people, living close to the breadline were severely impacted.

Second, A long time ago, as a military surveyor, I took about 60 guys, equipment, planes, helicopters and some vessels, to Papua New Guinea to survey the country for mapping purposes.

My main base was in Goroka, in the Southern Highlands.

Every morning, my cook would go to the local market to buy fruit ad vegetables. Often I would go with him. We bought relatively large quantities, because of our numbers. So ther was a lot of money in it.

We did not care what we paid, we paid what was asked. Usually we paid well above the going rate.

However, after a while, my boss-boy, Aupi (who was chief of 3 villages) told me that now in the market, the vendors would not sell anything to the locals until we had been and done our buying for the day. So the whole community was being adversely affected because we were not paying the local rate.

Once I was aware of this, we took Aupi with us, and he made sure that we paid only the going local rate. Life settled back to normal for the locals.

So as a matter of principle, you should aim to pay no more than the going rate for any services. However, recognise that prices vary, from supplier to supplier. Some of the top end bars along Quezon Avenue may charge 12, 000 for a barfine, while others in Ermita may charge 1500. So be it, but do not pay more than the going price for the service that you are buying. And do not distort the market by tipping above the local rate. That is the same as paying over the rate.

It may make you feel good to splash money around, but that is doing a lot of permanent damage to the local people.

Hey guys!

I will be going to Phi in a week or two. Have some plans near Manila for a few days, but have a couple days free time before and after, and I would like to spend them Monging.

Been to BKK and PNP. I AM on a limited budget, and am trying to figure out exactly how many days I can afford.

I prefer FL just because there is no BF attached. But seems most of the info on here is about BGs and MPs. Don't like the MPs. BGs are OK, but as stated, would rather save the BFs for more action, as the cost does build up over the days!

So, these questions:

Good hotel?"The Duck Inn" would be perfect, even without it matching my nick. Right price, but I don't think the location is right for Makati. Looking for something like that one though. Any info?

Freelancers? Where can one find them (as safely as possible! I am somewhat experienced and I think I can handle most mischief they may try and throw at me.

Prices? I have heard a base of 1500p LT. 1000p ST Correct? What about 2 girls? Is there a bulk discount (as there was in BKK) or do you pay full for both girls?

Those are the quandaries I am considering before I buy my ticket, as I need to figure out how many days I can stay. (Trying to get the most out of it I can!)

Thanks!

In addition to what I mentioned above, I should have stated that I also bought this sweet girl some white schoolgirl socks and white panties. My purpose being I want to to achieve some of the Japanese kogal type schoolgirl pics. But I think my tastes are becoming a little more delightfully perverted as I age not quite so gracefully LOL.

Is it only me or does everyone else feel they get worse as they get older.

For instance, I've walked past thousands of womens shoe shops in my life but in past few years, if I see a pair of killer heels (5 inch plus) I'm often thinking of how my current "babe du jour" would look in such shoes (probably with nothing else on ).

Freebie in reflective moment.

Are there any other bars in Makati / Manila wher bjs are available? Sounds like fun.Personally, I have only had the Rogues in bar experience. I am still a relative newbie to the Makati scene with only 5 nights of action. One of the great things for me about that night at Rogues was that the girls caught me by surprise. I knew from reading the forum and doing my homework that there were bars on Burgos that featured "live interaction," but I was not expecting BBBJ's that night when I suggested to the girls we go to one of the booths. I went to Rogues solely because it is a highly recommended bar and I now confirm this good opinion.

I do recall reading somewhere that Bottoms was another bar featuring "live interaction." Someone else will have to confirm this. Also let me refer you to Dragon Slayer's recent report entitled "Makati City, Skimming Pussy' post #162 found in his Metro Manila thread. He got his jollies off at Mirrors bar in one of their private rooms.

I had a real good time in Manila. I hooked up with girls in Havana Cafe, Rogues, Jools and Flite 168 soapy massage parlor in Air Force 0ne. There is a lot of diversity here in terms of girls, bars and pricing. So any trip to the Philippines should include at least a few nights in Manila IMHO.

Who is an exper in what is the going rate?

Prostituition in general is not built on a set rate like buying good or provisions.

When you go to a local market the price depends on the days supply vs demand. Even for locals prices vary from day to day. But the locals are smart in the sense they stay away from high priced fish or vegetables for that day.

Ofcourse if foreigners go to the market they would not know the average rate of anything. So they buy what they need irrespective of the price. Does that mean the seller can hike up the price for locals? The answer is NO.

If the seller demands foreigner prices for his wares locals would avoid that product forcing the seller to lower his price. Remember his core base of buyer are locals. He will not survive on on and off foreigner clients.

Now that I have given a lecture on economics.

Apart from fixed price + tip or no tip in places like AC, Massage places at many destinations etc, the price is fixed between the guy and the girl. There are some or many of us who have a budget on what we are willing to give the girl. If some girl demands more than our budget we refuse. Ofcourse there are some of us who agree for any price.

Who is right?

Both are. People who pay high prices cannot do it all the time so the girl has learned to demand more and settle for less depending on her finance.

Going rate will not change just because few punters want to pay more on occasion.

Going rate will not change just because few punters want to pay more on occasion. Wait a minute. Demand for P4P women is INELASTIC. Meaning, changes in prices do not change demand. Dude, that is a law. Do you honestly mean that IF the going price of an AC-style barfine increases. That demand will decrease?

Nope. Oldest profession.

(Honestly, I do not see any broke-ass stunners who demand high prices. Why? F'ing demand is always going to be high for stunners, whatever the cost. Hence, INELASTIC demand. Maybe you will not buy it. But someone will) To use your example, sellers of overpriced items would not survive in your market. But your market is based upon an ELASTIC demand of goods. Demand for pussy will never change.

So here is the key factor my mongering friend. The AVERAGE price of an AC-styled barfine is based on the scarcity of resources. Of the country who hosts the market. Just look at Thailand. The Baht has grown considerably on one hand and so has the barfine. Doubly doo-doo. However, you still see ex-pats paying. But who they pay for has changed. It is those with the ways and means to follow the market trends that fuels this market growth.

So, if you really want to make an impression on the market? Buy local foods, stay at cheap mom and pop hotels, don't go shopping at the mall, don't play golf, don't go to the mega-bars and barfine / drink, etc. Doing that makes the rich, richer and brings larger investors into the market who will spend a premium for nicer venues. Er. These venues will try to recoup the investment by charging higher prices. DOESN'T THIS MAKE MORE SENSE TO EVERYONE?

Fcuk, I should write a PhD dissertation on this subject.

Thanks! FL's, only place I know with reasonable selection is Havana in Greenbelt. Otherwise, sign up to Date in Asia, definitely the place to find the best bargains if you have the time to do it.

Optionally, go to Burgos but do the deed on-site, most bars will offer in-call facilities, never tried those though, but that means less barfine at least.

Maybe it's just me, but it didn't sound like Liondale was running from bar to bar spending 12k looking for a BJ.

Thanks Petey, you are correct.

The reason I got pissed off at Slippery's comment was not his opinion of me overspending, he is entitled to think so. Some are happy eating McDonalds everyday, others are willing to pay extra for a finer meal, some only want finer meals, it is a matter of taste. What I disliked was his totally arrogant, unconstructive and negative comment that did not help anyone, and for a newbie would probably be very demotivating. We are here to share and learn from each other's experiences. If Slippery felt I had fucked up, then he could have instead shared some of his experiences on how to do it differently. That would actually have helped the fellow mongerers.

That said, I deliberately posted the costs at Pharaoh because that is one of the most valuable insights I like to have when I go to a new place, so I know what cost to budget for and know how to avoid getting ripped off. Pharaoh is a higher end KTV so of course the prices are higher. Take it or leave it, it is up to each to decide.

The BBBJ's I got later at Burgos was at 500 a piece in one bar, and 2 lady drinks in the other. Not sure if Slippery even read or comprehended this part, but it is not possible to get it much cheaper I believe.

3k was my tip to the girl who came to my hotel after he job and of course did a full FJ.

Was trying to hold back for a while, but hear me on this.

Some gals I met at the commercial scenes being at bar, KTV, or massage joint; I wouldn't even touch them even if they are free.

So, it's technically and practically wrong to generalize a fair price to pay for a girl (or an experience). Some girls deserve more, some places deserve higher rate.

I do quite agree someone posted earlier about 'not try to overpay what a local would pay'. Only part I would like to change here is 'local' to 'regular'.

We all know these : KTV gal rate in most part of Asia is higher than bar girls, and also higher than massage parlour.

So, a night of fun in KTV with a gal take out in a high end KTV in manila can cost 15K. These joints exist for a reason and they have existed for a very long time.

Let's leave the judgement of how others spent their money within oneself.

We like to give, we certainly like to take, but we don't enjoy abuse unless its really well deserved, or earnt.

Take a deep breath and remember that at some point, a newb as yourself is going to be interested in getting help from other members here and yes, we are helpful and knowledgable. But no one will offer anything if they think it only to be rewarded with abuse.

Fucking England. ? Tell me please the name of your fine country so I can preface it equally appropriately and in similar manner, rather than refer to it merely as the Proper noun it is.

If anyone knows of a place in Makati that does karaoke like the RG, please feel free to share.Never been to RG but check out 'Juicy Bar' located on Makati Avenue in Makati. Never filed a FR because I didn't think most members here would want to mix it up with the local Pinoys. Not really in the best section of Makati. This joint is a training ground as the best girls get shipped off to Korea.

Well I finished up my first night in makati, all in all it was a great night, but super expensive compared to AC. I started off in Rogues, the girls are much more aggressive in makati, as soon as I walk in I got girls all over me, massaging my back. Which I enjoy, but when a fat girl I have no attraction to at all wants 200 pesos for a crappy massage I did not ask for, I did not give it too her. I found one girl there I really wanted to fuck, named carmela super nice tits, incredible body 8-10 for sure. But she would not go the room with me unless her friend came with us. I was not really into her friend, but I figured what the hell, until the negotiating went down. Carmela wanted 1600bf + 3000 and she was going to leave after 1 pop. And she wanted me to give her friend who I did not want to fuck 1600bf + 4000. I declined. I kept trying to get carmela for longer but she would not budge she wanted to leave right after I shoot my load. I was a bit skeptical, guessing her friend would do all the work and she would do nothing at all and just want 3000 for being hot. So I decided to look else where, I found a girl at dimples and she was getting off work at 11:30 so I told her to drop by after work and she did, I gave her 2000 for 1 pop. She wanted 1000 more for a 2nd pop, I declined and went out looking for a hotter girl, she had the baby belly I don't like.

I found a girl at Tickles, super hot, I paid 3500 bf + 2000, she stayed all night and I popped 3 times. The only problem was while we where walking back to my hotel, her american bf spotted her and started yelling at her and me, telling me did you know that is my fiancee? I am like freaking out thinking this guy is going to kill me. She never batted an eye, did not even bother her in the least. The guy came into my hotel and was yelling at me and her. I was getting kinda worried, like what the hell am I suppost to do? I just paid 3500 barfine, and you want me not to fuck her? Then hotel security tried to kick him out, and he wanted me to come outside and talk to him. I went out there and tried to calm him down, a pretty fucked up situation for me. I eventually told him I will try to take her back to the bar, but she did not want to go. And as soon as we hit the room she gave me a awesome BJ. Fucked up. Her fiancee is outside and she does not even bat an eye. Word of advice for anyone who falls in love with a bar girl, don't. They don't even have a heart. But damm they look great naked.

She wanted me to come back again tonight, but I think I will avoid that situation, I don't want to get killed my first time in Makati.

Well off for night 2

I seem to have many adventures on my Manila trips. Usually safe sometimes less so.

I usually conduct my shagging business in the comfort of my own place or sometimes Sogo / Eurotel etc.

Been chatting to one fine young lady that lives somewhere in Mandaluyong, or near Wack Wack (never exactly sure where the borders are ). After a few chats we had both decided we would like to bonk each other.

I have told her my trip dates, and she has been telling me she may have a problem getting someone to look after her young son.

So she has said that if she can't get someone to look after her son, would I want to go to her place and stay.

She's told me theres no aircon only a fan. And I haven't yet figured where the son sleeps in all this, but she did establish that we would have privacy somehow. And yes I have the address.

I hope she gets someone to look after her kid as I do like aircon and my own bed.

But if not, lets see what this girls place is like. Probably local and not so nice.

Anyways if theres no reports from Freebie for next 3 months, and you hear of two slightly damaged livers for sale, same with kidneys you know it was my last adventure. LOL

Was chatting today to this weekends girl. I asked her how she is, she replies " I'm upset!".

Now this is a super sweet girl so it takes a lot to upset her.

I enquire as to why, she replies " because its only Wednesday and I have to wait until Saturday to see you Freebie!"

The power of a 19 year old to positively affect someone over 50 LOL.

Of course I did steer the chat onto more interesting topics and when I suggested that during her stay she may end up being handcuffed her reply was equally positive " can't wait for that too Freebie"!

SuSuI disagree I think demand for P4P is HIGHLY ELASTIC I don't want to start a flam war but look at Brazil or Costa Rica, when prices started going up the crowd started moving to other destinations. P4P tourist drastically dropped. If AC was the only destination to get P4P or stunners then you would be correct P4P would be inelastic. But as we all know there are many other venues throughout the world. Therefore because of the high number of substitutes P4P will always thankfully be HIGHLY ELASTIC if they truly want to make more money in AC the correct policy would be to lower price and attract more mongers thus increasing their overall revenue. Earn less per monger but serve far more mongers therefore profits grow. Overall profit is what important not profit per unit. Example if I charge $142 per unit consumers will by three units of my product. If I charge $132 per unit consumers will buy four units of my product, the obvious thing to do is to charge less per unit and sell more units thus making a much larger profit. Because of the high number of substitutes P4P will always thankfully for us be HIGHLY ELASTIC.

That's an interesting concept write your dissertation on the elasticity of demand for paid sex.

On another note does anyone know of any Universities or Schools that are close enough to AC or other monger destinations to slip in for some P4P but safe and far enough away that students or school officials would not be suspicious? I've been given the task of setting up a summer study abroad program in economics. The school will pay for me to go over and set it up and then pay for me to take students over for a three year commitment.

Thanks

ChrisI can't speak about Angeles since I'm unfamiliar with it. However, there were, at last count, more than 1, 800 colleges and universities here, and I don't think you would have any problem finding an appropriate location for your purposes. In Davao alone, I can think of about 8 universities in the city, and there are several in other Mindanao cities such as Cagayan de Oro as well. You might think about hooking up with one of the larger state university systems, since they're in such dire need of help that you might be able to pretty much write your own ticket.

On the subject of the elasticity of the market for P4P, (as opposed to the pliability of an individual bar girl) , it's my belief that demand here will always outstrip supply. This is so because of the intersection of massive corruption (which limits opportunity) , a pathetic educational system and an economy that produces few jobs. Put simply, there's so little economic opportunity, so little room for upward mobility and such widespread ignorance among the poor on reproductive health an contraception (thus accounting for runaway population growth) that lots of women will turn to sex work as their only viable alternative for earning a living. If the choice of employment is becoming a domestic helper for $40 a month or turning tricks at $35-$40 each, the decision to offer sex for money becomes a sensible economic / financial decision. Where prices have shot higher, it's largely the result of governments with vision introducing economic and political policies that result in the expansion of economic alternatives for young people. No chance of that happening here. This place will remain a stagnant pond in the midst of a growing sea of opportunities elsewhere in SE Asia.

Well off for night 2Joining the guys giving you kudos for handling this very well.

I don't think they guy was for real though. Or did the girl actually confirm that was her fiancee?

An American taking a fiancee in Manila will surely provide for her so she won't be working at a bar in Burgos, if not he is a complete loser. So I would not blame her for not showing much sympathy. Could be he was a stalker, or an idiot who wanted to be her exclusive client, or whatever just trying to ruin her business so she has to go back to him or something. Who knows.

Well done though!

Had another night in Makati.

Was heading to Burgos to pick up one of my favorites there when the taxi driver proposed I should check out some boarding houses. Assuring me they were nearby and there was no commitment to buy, I agreed to check it out. I had heard about such before and was curious.

True enough, only 5-10 mins from Burgos was the first boarding house, you can't see any sign from outside so you will need a taxi driver to take you.

Felt safe, just through one room and you enter a room about 15x15 meters or so, which was lined with sofas along the walls, which again was filled with girls / women. I am not sure I believe the driver that they were all students, but range the age from early to late 20's. They were all in dresses, heels and some in stockings. A nice view, nothing too seedy. I would say from 5/10 to 8/10 in the looks department. Cost was 4k for the outtake. All nighter as far as I understood. I did not get the full address, but if you want to check it out then ask taxi driver to take you to boarding house at Casino street / avenue / road.

Second boarding house was very nearby. Same setup. But girls here where less good than in the first place I felt.

Price was slightly lower though. 3500.

Taxi driver said he believed it would be possible to bargain.

Each house maybe 20-30 girls.

The last house was at Edison street / avenue / road.

Back at Burgos I found my bar and my 18yo girl and ended up barfining her and her 22yo half sister, had a wonderful 3some!

Was able to nego the barfine down to 2800 a piece, and tip to each girl at 2k.

At Rougues the barfine was only 1600 FYI, they made a big point out of that and think it is a good selling point.

Again pics, coming later. Will see if I have time for it next week.

Examples of silly stuff: Charges on ATM withdrawal, even in home bank, insisting on charging airport / terminal fee seperately, demanding all kinds of proof for those who need visa in advance, those on PTA being massively screwed, and not allowing Foreign airliners to have reciprocal cabotage rights, but only to dump pax in Manial, and the local carriers must take over. And then a proud statement "this is the arrangement that brings in tourists" You need to be a Newton to figure out how a pax will benefit by getting tickets from different carriers, and struggle to change carriers. Not interlined. And have to check in again. Vs a single check-in. Tourist promotions only focussing on 'favored' destinations. I. E. Those resorts which have 'connections', then 40 year old rust buckets being allowed to ply passengers, claiming they are 'as good as new'. Ships that toppled over and then the main cause of the sinking that the ship was made 'top heavy in Philippines' being forgotten and then a few months later, the salvaged ship is rebranded an on a mission to kill more lives. OFWs being sucked dry by various and more taxes. And government legalising the robbery of poor workers, by legally allowing agencies to collect upto and more than half the poor laboures salary.

And 99% of the population defending the 'Filipino way of life' and demanding that the rest of the world accept it as norm. ' and you can read up on why Filipinos are more catholic than the Pope.

I could go on.

I always considered those casas, but probably the same thing. I'm curious, what happened with the taxi driver? Did you pay him anything extra? Did he run the meter the whole time from where he picked you up and was supposed to be heading to Burgos?

Stapling anything important inside an envelope invariably creating puncture wounds in hands.

The gas pump boy who when you tell him " P1000 unleaded ONLY insists on saying " wash windscreen oil and gas check etc"

Falling in line?

No swerving?

Yeah. Thank goodness though the girls are cute. If it was a nation of uglies such as Papua New Guinea it would be in a whole heap of trouble.

And if you think all the above is bad, try applying for a loan there.

Good thinking Chris, but this policy does not apply to the Philippines. :)There are many examples of Filipino-style marketing but just one to add to Marco's point.

One tablet of my antihistimine med is 14. 65 php.

A box of them (100) sealed and in original box costs 1465 php (no deduction for bulk buying) , even though I have discussed this with the pharmacist many times.

The other well-known logic (summarised simplistically here to exaggerate the point) :

100 patrons (average) in a bar pay 60 php for a beer. Turnover = 6000 php;

If numbers drop and only 50 patrons becomes the average then the owner will double the beer price to 120 php so he can still get turnover of 6000 php.

So many examples of this rather weird logic of pricing abound through almost every business.

At least the concept of "happy hour" is supposed to be an incentive to enter a bar but sometimes I wonder about that too?

Did he run the meter the whole time from where he picked you up and was supposed to be heading to Burgos?I think he means casas. I always let the taxi guy keep the meter running. Still turns out to be cheap as hell. In at least an hour's time the meter usually says under 300 pesos after touring 3 or 4 casas + EDSA complex from Ermita, but I give him 400.

Does it include everything like accommodation and food? In and In 4 days, I spent roughly 19,000 (all in) out of 50K budget.Sorry Nolz, missed this question.

Yes. 28000 was for everything. Girls, hotel, food, tips, taxis, airport tax etc. I didn't have a budget; I just went with the flow, enjoyed myself and didn't do anything stupid. Could've spent more or less but didn't.

This topic comes up a fair bit on the forum (trip costs etc). As the punters so often say, it's all relative. I reckon I did alright. I think if you do whatever you want and come away with a good experience (without the feeling of being fleeced) , then the trip's a success.

Hey guys, fortunately I did not see that girls fiancee again. She was receiving text from him most of the night, in between our romps, I wish I would have taken her for a 2nd night, cause my 2nd night did not work out to well.

I seen this little number with C cup breast in Montana bar, her name was Iyah. Great tits on a little package, super cute face. I negotiated 3 hours of 2 pops with her for 3900 barfine + 2500. We get to my room and the first round was pretty good. Then about 20 minutes later she wanted me to go again, cause she wanted to leave. She said she would stay till 2 am, it is about 1 hour into our session. She started playing with my cock so I did not stop her, but if I go to soon after the first pop it take a bit longer, I would think a working girl would know that. She keeps saying did you cum yet, did you cum yet? I am like fuck quit rushing me you are ruining it. She is not even getting into it, she just wants to get the fuck out of there. Making me take longer, she basically turned into a total *****. About 40 minutes later I popped, she says you should give me 3000 cause you took to long, I said no way. You said you where staying till 2am you are leaving at 1am. She just stormed out.

You win some you lose some. But you lose alot more in Makati, I was out like$150 us.

Well I should get another night in Makati on the 20th. Anyone know if you can get any action in Iloilo? I am here for another 9 days. I love AC you can just walk out your door and find action in about 1 minute.

I remember the first time I came to the Philippines about 25 years ago. I was met by a Filipino VP from my company and after dinner he took me to Burgos St, which was my introduction to the country. I had been to Thailand many times, and worked extensively in Indonesia, so this type of bar wasn't exactly a novel experience. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it, fell "in love" with a dancer from Dimples and stayed with her for 3 days.

Fast forwarding twenty-five years or so to the present, and I've accumulated a hell of a lot of time in various developing countries, and I've lived here for almost 8 years. Any thrill I might once have felt at walking into bars and knowing I could, if I wanted to, have sex with any or at least with most of the women, has long since dissipated. Now, at this advanced stage of life, for the most part such places bore the crap out of me and I never go.

The thought of paying a large bar fine plus a substantial tip just screams "rip off" to me, though I can well understand how people here for a short time, who want to bag as many cute sure things as they can would find it all appealing. After all, we go on vacation prepared to spend money for a good time.

I suspect that for those of us, like RK and I and loads of others, the perspective changes and the ease of sex becomes a reality that doesn't' have to be explored at every available opportunity. I guess that's why I smile often when reading posts about Burgos, EDSA Entertainment and other, similar venues. Don't mind me though. These are just the musings of a rapidly aging hobbiest.

GESlow your roll GE. This has nothing to do with age. I'm 39 and I feel the same as you do. My last year of high school I was a street pimp as well as a DJ at one of the many strip clubs in the city I am from. I have always been around pussy and of the 1000+ women that I have been with, at least 90% of them were non-pro. So since, as you so eloquently put it,"the ease of sex has always been a reality" for me, I just can't imagine paying a lot of money for pussy as much as there is walking around this planet. It's a commodity. Like iodized salt. Whether you buy it from the corner store or gourmet market, no matter what wrapper it is in, the chemical makeup of it is the same NaCl. And the idea of having to pay a third party for a girl to leave work totally goes over my head. My business sense is always like hey, let's cut out the middle man; just call me or come see me when you get off work.

Sure as I am now that I am on the way to becoming a 'rapidly aging hobbiest', and for the benefit of knowing ahead of times to come, where or what gives you some thrill 'at this advanced stage of life'? I can't speak for others of course, but for me what's important is to find someone whose company I genuinely enjoy even outside of the bedroom. I'm fortunate in that here in Davao I've met a (very much younger) woman who fits that category, and I'm content with my life. I enjoy sharing good wine with her, watching her grow intellectually, and of course I still enjoy the bedroom time.

Since this is one of, if not the best relationships I've ever had, I'm leery of screwing it up. Therefore, I never play in my own zip code so to speak. Outside of the zip code I look to replicate the experience I have in Davao, usually without success. But my days of walking into a bar and saying "okay I'll have number 17 please" are long gone. Again, I'm not at all putting down the guys who still like that quick encounter experience. It's just not for me any longer. To repeat a point I tried to make in an earlier post, I need some sort of intellectual engagement. We don't have to sit around discussing Proust's theory of memory, but she's got to be capable of expressing some actual thoughts. That is, she needs to be fun to talk to. I guess this is why I have a tough time understanding the guys who select incredibly ignorant, wholly unsophisticated young women to hang out with. As I said before, I get the sex part of it, but not the rest.

Then too back in September I reported of visiting the casas and trying to hold a basic conversation with the girls and it was impossible. To each one I asked,"What do you like to do?" Each girl had no idea what their favorite past times or hobbies were. That completely turned me off.

The other day I was on the phone with my Filipina-American who lives in California. She asked me why I live in Thailand. I told her because I like it. She asked was it because of the hookers. I told her that there are hookers in my hometown and everywhere else on earth for that matter. She said but not as many as are in Thailand. If given the choice, I'd probably live in Thailand as well, since to me it's much more engaging culturally than this arid wasteland, and it's interesting to me to watch how the Thais adapt their ancient culture to emerging technology and globalization without losing much of the essence that defines them. There's so little that could be called a Filipino ethos, so little sense of nationhood here, that it's an altogether cultural uninteresting place.

I think that perhaps-and this may apply to some extent to all of us-there's a bit of Pygmallion operating with these guys who hang out with uneducated Filipinas. A sort of pride in being able to introduce ignorant, poor women to better restaurants, hotels, and other amenities. I suppose in the end it comes down to power and control which are absent from male-female relationships in the West. In this case, the more unequal the distribution of education and money are between two people, the more in control is the man. So in the end, it may be all about ego gratification or it may be that people like Mr. E, others like him, and I are the true anomalies.

But there again the Thais did not have to endure centuries of being screwed over by the Spanish followed by 50 years of exposure to the colonial aspirations of the Americans. But I should have asked him to keep the meter on from the start, then there would have been no issues, and then you can tip as you like on top of the meter fare. There is a good tip for anyone taking a taxi. Always insist that the meter is on. If the driver says its broken or some other lame excuse, then tell him to stop and get out, pay nothing and find another taxi.

If you really want to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) him off, get your camera phone out, take a photo of his face, I'd and cab number and tell him you will report him. One day I got in a taxi and within a few minutes it was over 100 peso and climbing quickly like we were travelling 200+ kmh. I put the phone video camera on the meter which was not easy because of the bumpy road and I told the guy his meter was broken. He pretended not to understand but looked nervous. When we got to the destination, I told him I travelled this route all the time which I did and I am not paying the amount on the meter and gave him what I usually pay. He knows that if I report a faulty meter, he will be kicked off the road immediately, so he just too the money and left.

Another taxi trick is the taxi guy will speak Tagalog and ask your girl for more money. The girl will often look scared or feel uncomfortable which obviously is not good for you. Don't take that crap from taxi driver, just intervene and tell the guy he has been paid enough and don't let the girl get intimidated.

There has been a marked improvement this year with the introduction of some new taxi laws. Taxis must not be older than 10 years and the meter must work. There are a lot more new taxis on the road with a / see and doors that work with younger drivers with better attitude. So now we have a choice and I say vote with your feet and select a nice new taxi and wave the junkers on.

You can blame it on the Spaniards or Americans, but is has been over 50 years. Actually, in about 1965, the Philippines was the second largest economy in Asia, after Japan, and was widely-touted as a "tiger" economy. The downward spiral started during Marcos' last several years in office and accelerated once he left. The current morass of corruption, inefficiency, lack of investment and general inertia doesn't mean that the country has gotten worse in absolute terms, but relative to its neighbors, it's made little progress while they've all shot ahead. Vietnam passed the Philippines in per capita GDP about two or maybe three years ago, and the country remains the largest net importer of rice in the world. Vietnam, which was importing rice about a decade ago, could not meet its food needs, and during that decade transformed itself into one of the top five rice exporters on the world. Recently, ASEAN commissioned a study to examine which countries in the region were considered most attractive to investors. The Philippines finished ahead of only Brunei, and was outranked by every other country including Burma (Myanmar). I believe that the only reason the place doesn't just implode is because of the remittances sent back here by the maids, unskilled workers, home health care workers and nurses working overseas. In many ways, this country is more akin to Bangladesh and many African countries than it is to the rest of SE Asia.

He downward spiral started during Marcos' last several years in office and accelerated once he left. Its true that the invidious effects of the years of Marcos's dictatorship still echo down the years. I am sure that there was corruption in The Philippines before his emergence but his years of rampant looting of the economy seems to have ingrained the poison deep within the Filipino psyche. Its amazing how the average Filipino seem to resignedly accept a degree of corruption in their leaders. And Marcos still has his defenders and apologists. Its amazing. In any other country his memory would have been as reviled as that of Hitler in Germany.

But, of course, it is the parlous state of the country and economy which ensure a never ending supply of young and desperate Filipina's looking to escape the dump and willing to barter with the only asset they possess.

GE. I think that you have been here too long mate, and are in desperate need of a change. We all know that the place is a shithole but it does have its compensations and can be a great place to live for the unreflective foreign hedonist.

If you read Rizal's "Noli Me Tagere" written in 1886 you will see references to events and contexts and situations that are still common today (for example; the expectation of handouts). The administrators expected it from Spain; the village chiefs expected it from the administrators; the poor relied on it from the village chiefs etc etc. Today the country relies on handouts from foreign governments for infrastructure projects, and so on down the chain.

The church still rules the minds of most non-thinking filipinos (as the friars have done for 300 years) and they will not give up that power easily.

See? All you people can do is insult others and try to look cool cause you have posted soooooo many posts. At least those of us with lots of posts contribute info and pics. You have contributed complaints? You said the thread was for info on prices, locations, etc. Where is your such wealth of info?

Wow do you feel like big men now?Looked in the photo thread lately?

I won't even explain anything to you assholes. You do not deserve it.Promises, promises. . .

This is supposed to be for INFORMATION on PRICES, LOCATIONS, ROUTES, TRAVEL, ETC.So you say. Or anything else related to Manila that tweaks our interest.

I lived in the PI before (Clark. Early 80s when the USAF was there) and nothing has compared since. Although my recent run in Makati was close!

I can't imagine learning the Thai language although their infrastructure is much better than PI.

I'll be retiring in PI in a few years. Probably in or near Dumaguete City, Negros Island. Lots of Westerners there. Beautiful quiet place. Not for mongers tho.

I love the PI. Filipinas are the best girls in the world IMO. Although there are some nice ones in Thailand, too. Going to Chiang Mai for Loy Krathong later this year and need to find a busty, sexy Thai girl to take along. If anyone has any recommendations please PM me. I promise to treat her well.

And Marcos still has his defenders and apologists. Its amazing. In any other country his memory would have been as reviled as that of Hitler in Germany. And they're getting ready to give him a military hero's burial and put his body (refrigerated for roughly 20 years) in the ground in a celebrated grave in Ilocos Norte. And the family is still influential in politics. Daughter Imee is Govenor of Ilocos Norte and a son and Imelda are members of Congress. It is amazing.

But Marcos is not the entire explanation. It's a complex mix of factors. Colonial habits do persist in ways that are almost inexplicable, and the Church is a major problem. Church leaders have been in bed with the propertied elites--which they and the Spanish leaders helped create--since earliest Spanish colonial times. I find it interesting that in Europe's traditional Catholic countries, secular and social democratic instincts have pushed the Church into decline. But in the Phils the Church continues to play the role Napoleon suggested: "religion is all that keeps the poor from murdering the rich."

Interestingly, the Church, under Cardinal Sin, provided a major moral justification to EDSA I, the non-violent popular demonstration that ousted Marcos. Fifteen years later Cardinal Sin also provided a moral justification--and worked behind the scenes with other powerful players--to give impetus to EDSA II, which ousted Joseph Estrada. It's true that Estrada had his fingers deep into the cookie jar, but he also had stepped firmly on the toes of military and police corruption, and the powers that be were threatened by him. So EDSA II was a sort of faux people power protest; it was substantially driven by powerful interests--with the moral and political backing of the Church. In fact, poor people counter-demonstrated in favor of Estrada, whom they considered their champion. In hindsight the two so-called people power protests beg the question why there is so little persistent social and economic uprising. Perhaps the aura of "people power" was always a mythical label that the media and powerful people attached to the situation after the fact.

As much as all of us can identify that corrupt and dysfunctional reality, I am still waiting for an explanation that puts its arms around the whole thing.

Your posts are few and far between but continually reflect an articulate and thoughtful perspective whether agreed with or not.Thanks. I've spent a fair amount of time trying to make sense of the overall Phils problem. CS seems to have a practical acceptance of what he enjoys and does not necessarily want it to change. GE seems to have lost patience with the whole thing. I'm not so convinced that "progress" is necessarily in the interest of everybody in the Phils. So when we define the situation as a "problem" maybe we are imposing our own expectations that the Phils ought to be more like us. Or perhaps I'm overthinking it.

ChrisI've been away from the forum for a few days, so I apologize for responding six days after your post. I recalled this question coming up before and that I and others had responded previously. In fact, I see that eight of your 12 posts since February 2010 have posed this same question. This makes it appear that your interest in ISG has largely been related to setting up a mongering opportunity for yourself through your work for the school. I think that no easy answers have emerged in the interim. In any case, you're fortunate that your school will pay you to travel to the Phils to set it up, but I think what you are proposing to do is full of problems. I will attempt to send you a pm with some detailed thoughts about your proposal rather than bore other forum participants with the details. I hope you are serious about receiving the feedback that people have attempted to give you.

Recently completed my 5th trip of the year and was as exhausting as all previous.

Decided on this trip not to try to have 4 separate girls in one day, every day but instead arranged for one very sweet cute girl from Cebu to stay with me for 2 days and then see what else was around.

My Cebu girl isn't a big traveller indeed the last time I bought her to Manila was her first time on a plane. Lives in a small town near Cebu. Great English, great body and a great attitude. Doesn't know how to say no. So impressed me on first trip I wanted more, as we all do.

I arrived at 4am (thanks Cebu Pacific. The airline run by kids that treats its passengers as kids. It likes to call its passengers " guests " but as far as I know, I pay so I don't feel like a guest!" ladies and gentlemen do not stand up till the seat belt sign has gone off. I repeat do not stand up etc. Treats its passengers just like kids ). Arrive, go to bed and wake up at 6 to get text from Ms Cute saying she's boarding her flight in Cebu. We meet at airport and I do a double check that she's still as cute, and still sweet 19. She was.

Go to have breakfast then to my place and go to bed with clothes on. We both knew we are tired and would have a tiring day so no pussy pounding yet. Woke up with a well deserved bang LOL. Ms Cute then started modelling the clothes I had got her, and was ecstatic about the 5 inch heels LOL. We spent all day taking pics, having sex. Peaceful.

Out to Makati and Handlebar then Filling station where we ate with Ms cute sitting on my finger LOL.

Back to my place where I undressed her and had her on the balcony. Hope my neighbours had a good view.

Sleep and Sunday morning bonk which ended abruptly with a "Oh no. Its my period". Quick wash of the bed sheets followed LOL.

Out to Mall of Asia. Where we took some funny pics outside a humously named place called " Cockshop ". Catering for chickens etc.

Then to Sogo for more slutty pics (scholgirl, bondage wear etc.). And a sweet blow. Lots of drinking and the rest of the day is a haze.

During all this I'm gettting texts from some girls for later appointments ("please promise me we meet, promise promise" etc. Very boring!)

Next day, we laze around and I have more blows (the girls getting better in her technique thanks to a porn CD she saw in my place) , and then drop her at airport. I'm sure we will be meeting again. Pics look great.

From there, off to work till 6pm.

And then I headed for an interesting adventure. Had been chatting with a DIA lady and we both knew we would met and sex, but we just didn't know if its her place or mine. She had a kid and couldn't find a yaya so we agreed it would be her place.

I knew approx where her place was, and wasnt too bad an area, and went out with a wallet that only had cash in case something went wrong. She had a small place, but clean and neat and of course a son, who was quite sleepy. No aircon only fans which meant the place was hot. Anyways we sit down, share two bottles of wine, and some home cooked sinigang. At 10 she "suggests " I take a shower and off we go. Slim. 40 kgs. 21, could arch her back wonderfully, and no stretch marks. As soon as I entered her she murmers " Oh Freebie " and keeps saying this throughout.

Well by 1am we have covered every position and I have lost 5kgs in sweat. We sleep a bit but at 3am a cock does his early am crowing and off we go again. I think this lady hadn't had much and was trying to make up for lost time. Cocks go off at 5am but not mine LOL.

She made me omelette and coffee for breakfast too and had a big smile as we ate. I think she enoyed.

Home and had an hours sleep before taking on the next challenge.

First one was a girl who always sends me messages on Ym even if I tell her I'm busy etc. Sent me endless texts too. Always tells me she has no money but plenty of money to be on internet all day. We all know they type.

So I drive near to Dusit and there she is. Now this girl really looked like a boy. Oops. Had small girls frame, girls voice, girls feet, but face looked very boyish. She sat in my car and she had very small boobs I checked. I coudlnt find the courage to check what there below and so thanked her coming, gave her bus fare home and left. I had seen her on cam before and thought a bit boyish but not as bad as in real life. Anyways no loss.

Off to the mall and after lunch aranged to meet another "chatter". Who was also a serial texter.

She was shorter than I thought from cam, but had nice chest. We got to Eurotel and after an hour of playing around get her pink panties down, and enter. Of course as soon as I did, she gets all shy crosses her legs. (She said " I promised my Mum I'd behave in Manila". These province girls. LOL)

She offers to blow me to make up for it but this only last 30 seconds as she's a serial spitter. Same as in China. 20 seconds of blowing and 30 seconds of spitting. Told her to get dressed and took her back to mall.

And so there I am sending texts out to various ladies (oh freebie you didn't tell me you were back in town " LOL) when I get a text from Ms Bed and Breakfast saying " theres only place I'd like to be right now " I replied "where" and she sweetly says " wherever you are ". I tell her to get her ass in a taxi and we have two hours of delightful bonking. She will be a repeat too unless others take my place at the breakfast table.

Clean up my place, go to airport and get home by 1am.

Exhausted yes, but now need to recover fast as have 5 days in Bangkok coming up and have 10 phone numbers to explore. LOL. Lifes good!

Not just in taxis. Filipinos have a wonderfully insulting habit of talking to other Filipinos regardless of who initiated the conversation. I was in a shoe store in Mall of Asia with my sweetie looking at buying a pair of shoes for her. I asked the shop assistant "how much " in Tagalog. Assistant duly replied to my girl " do you want to buy these "

I replied in Tagalog that we are enquiring as to the price.

Assistant then addresses my girl (knowing by now that I at least speak a modicum of Tagalog) saying " I don't know if we have these in your size"

Knowing that this shop assistant was clearly operating at the outer limit of her IQ I enquired as to whether there were more shoe shops in Mall of Asia. She now replies directly to me saying yes over there, and there and there.

I say good because thats where were going LOL.

And don't get me started about the endless "What" that I hear every phone conversation I have."

Lets meet in that place I say" " What?". Do you mean sweet potential fucklet that you didn't understand what I said, didn't hear properly or were unsure of whixch language I was using?" "What?" is the inevitable reply.

Memo to The Philippines. Try using Pardon!

Need very urgent advice / info re the visa situation for Phil girls going to BKK.

Planning to take my GF there and must leave in next few days. Getting all sorts of contradictory information from local travel agents so near to hear from guys who HAVE ACTUALLY DONE IT.

As far as I can see from reading the Thai Embassy web site Filipinos being ASEAN members are entitled to a 30 day visa waiver at the airport in BKK.

I do know that if the girl is travelling alone she gets interrogated and they try to stop her boarding if possible on some technicality or another. At least thats what happened to a Phil friend of mine who had planned to fly to Singapore and there meet her BF and then fly on to Bali.

I am hoping that if she is travelling with a foreign BF ie me things will be much easier?

If she is travelling with me is she going to be asked for booked accommodation for the whole 30 day period? This is what the travel agency says.

Unfortunately my GF just had time to check with 1 agency to day adn they said that they could only issue air tickets with a maximum 14 day retrun period UNLESS she has a visa (which I presume involves flying first to Manila (I'm currently in Cebu) and then sorting the visa out- how long would that take and how much cost?)

Clearly she could buy a 30 day return ticket online, will this be enough to get her on board or may she be denied entry to the flight in BKK.

Nay help most appreciated.

Jose RizalAnalytic thinking-particularly when it flies in the face of "authority"-is neither encouraged, nor taught here. In fact, students expressing "unconventional" opinions are reprimanded swiftly. Filipinos are taught-implicitly and later explicitly-from birth to obey authority and never to accept responsibility for anything. It's therefore no wonder that the majority of the country is so easily led by politicians and the unelected politicians wearing skirts and preaching from the pulpits of the country. The fact is that there's no, or very little separation of church and state here. The two are intertwined like lovers and the power of one depends in large measure on the support of the other. It's a nice, cozy arrangement. Support of the RH bill might diminish the number of poor, easily-led catholics being produced like rabbits each year, and any diminution of the flock will be fought aggressively by the church which might see its stranglehold on the country lessened somewhat.

Greg London: Filipinas get 30 days into Bangkok. Thais also get 30 days into Philippines. Asean and also inter-governmental agreement between the 2 countries. If the Pinoy girl has 30 Thai stamps in 2 years in her passport or she has overstay record in Tailand or she stays 30 days then turn around next day for another 30 days, then she may be questioned at Thai immigration. Otherwise no problem, just get the common requirements ready like return ticket within 30 days, minimum funds ect. Thai and Filippines are both very poor countries, I don't think Filipinas would go there to find work or to hook, they can make more money hooking at home. Among Philippines visa free nations, I think Singapore and Malaysian probably more strict because the large quantity of Filipinas working in the night trade.

I have booked for 2 separate Filipina girls to join me in Thailand for holiday in the past, each flyed alone on Cebu Pacific, make sure you e-mail her her Cebu Pacific ticket and print a copy in case immigration clerk wants to see.

I also had 2 Filipina girl to visit me in Singapore when I was working there on and off. 4 trips each on Cebu Pacific or Tiger into Changi in about 1 year period, they never had a problem getting into Singapore. Only question asked was what is the purpose of the trip? Girl answers come see my friend.

Greg London:

I think you worry way too much, just prepare the basic like return tickets and 10000x2 bahts or other currency of equal value. Doesn't matter who have it, because you two are couple. If you worry so so much, you can hand her 10000 bahts or other equal value currency beforehand.

In your case, I definitely think they will not ask you guys to show anything.

Interview her separately? There are thousands of girls from other 3rd world Asean nations flying alone or with boyfriends to Thailand every single day, unless the girl has something definitely wrong, there is no such thing as separate interview. Keep in mind this is no EU or US.

GLGreg,

I have taken my GF to BKK on 3 occassions but I live in Australia and meet her there and whilst we have only stayed for a max of 2 weeks her visa shows 30 days as previously reported by others. Interestingly she asks me each time to provide her with a written invitation expressing that I will meet her costs whilst she is there. I have never quite understood this but it appears that this letter seems to have more value on the Phil side as immigration on departure seem to quiz her about it. She has never been asked anything on entry into Thailand. In fact she always comments how easy it is in entering BKK. She also said similar when we met in HGK. That was just after the killing on the bus of HGK nationals and she was somewhat nervous about it. But again got much more "conversation" on the Phil side being asked if it was a good idea to go to HGK.

In Thailand, other than being mistaken as a Thai, I found that she is better treated by the locals than she is even in Phil, given that she is travelling with me.

Let us know how you go and enjoy your holiday.

Philippine immigration authorities have good reason to question and in some cases deny exit to some girls. There have been cases of mongers abandoning their young "girlfriends" abroad without any money when the girls fail to keep them satisfied. The government must then foot the bill for repatriation.

Can you (or anyone else) tell me whether if I am standing besides her and saying that she's my GF and I will pay for accommodation and everything etc I still need to worry about booking 30 days accommodation (which of course I would not normally do). Also re minimum funds will it be OK she's travelling with me and show them some credit cards etc or do I have to get hold of actual cash and put it into her hands? Will they try to separate us and interview her separately? If she's travelling with you then no issue whtsoever. As in your BKK post on same subject I have taken Filipinas into Singapore and HK and BKK. If they were ever to ask you to separate for questioning then open up your pc, show the emails and ym chats between you, photos etc that establishes you are bf / gf. The biggest issue can be the Philippines immigration who are nosy bastards about who what where when. Thats when the girl does need " show money", plus your business card, plus your invite letter. If she has your pic in her wallet even better. I'm taking a 19 year old to HK soon and am now educating mine about how to do it.

Don't understand why you would fly a girl in from one big city to another big city. Maybe a bit like bringing sand to the beach?Actually she's from a small town near Cebu. Don't worry about what you don't understand.

Have been visiting Phils for 25 years and banging Manila girls endlessly for same period.

When I find one that I want to spend more than one night with then I fly them in. P300 airfare doesn't exactly break no banks.

We all March to a different drum and Sand comes in many colours and shades

And the left behinds, through my sources in the Phil Embassy, are not like dumb village girls left behind. And mostly they decided to dump their BF than the other way around. And seek the Embassy's comfort. .

The rest of are all trafficked women. No kidding.

Of course, the govt makes the most of the noise about the dumped women. And blaming a cano for the woman being dumped gets more publicity than saying the woman went willingly. Right?

Interview her separately? There are thousands of girls from other 3rd world Asean nations flying alone or with boyfriends to Thailand every single day, unless the girl has something definitely wrong, there is no such thing as separate interview. Keep in mind this is no EU or US.Maybe that was the case 5 years ago, but as of now, in every flight, atleast a dozen pax gets Returned, in Singapore, especially those coming in LCCs.

And provided they can escape the wrath of the Philippines Immigration bureau, who have even tuned away those with valid papers, passport, and invite letter to Singapore. And the only reason given was 'possibly [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) victim'

No kidding. The more money US gives to Phil for stopping [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908), the more the BI is hell bent on stopping every young woman leaving.

And even my GF, being a Med-Tech, was stopped and the BI in Phil had demanded that she show proof that she is not a victim. And only when she threw her famous tantrum did they relent.

It is not a money stealing scam: Apparently the BI prides itself from preventing [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908). Now only if they address the reason why every Filipino wants to get the hell out of Philippines (including the fact that most mall workers make about 4000 peso a month, money they can make it doing just one trick a night in Singapore. And 60 day here can make them put up proper roof over their crumbling shack. Or have $ for their kids education. And everything.)

Last month my GF from Leyte (also a med tech, job and family to come back to) visited me here in Tokyo for a couple weeks traveling alone, her first international trip.

She got a few questions from outbound immigration at NAIA T2, but she was armed with a proper Tourist visa (full 1-page and laminated onto a visa page) , pictures of us on her phone, etc. Did not mention having to present show-money but I didn't ask about it. She did say a few people on her flight got some relatively severe questioning in the queue ahead of her, but I put it down to dodgy paperwork on their part, her ducks were all in a row because of my insistence on getting everything right.

The visa was a real pain, because the earthquake stuffed things totally up and by the point all the paperwork was complete I almost had to resubmit invitation / guarantee letters because they go stale after 3mo. My own work visa to Japan 14 years ago took only half the documents she needed for a 2-week tourism one.

ThanksThere is little action in Paranaque. You may be able to pull a girl from the casino out by the airport and you can also go to the Airforce 1 complex which is in Paranaque. If I remember right, the name of the complex the casino is at is "Better "Living". There's also a massage place in the same building as Airforce 1 but I forgot the name of it. Its a floor above or below Airforce 1. Anybody I know that has been to either AF 1 or the massage place has left with a smile on their face. Just search the forum.

GLGL.

I live in Thailand and have on 4 occasions over the last year invited a young Filipina lady to Thailand. Twice I accompanied her and twice she travelled on her own, Manila to BKK and return, with PAL. At no time was she asked anything either leaving or arriving. Just on one occasion was she asked if she had a return ticket (which of course she had) on arrival at immigration in BKK. She has never been asked to produce evidence of funds or invitation into Thailand.

A 30 day visa will be issued on arrival, which can easily be extended when she is in the Kingdom, PRIOR to the expiry of her 30 day visa, by visiting an immigration office.

I am sure everything will be fine when you bring her to BKK. My friend has always been treated well by Thai people, and without exception they think she is Thai, although to my mind she clearly looks Filipina! Which causes a lot of amusement to all concerned when they realise their mistake!

ThanksParanaque is just one of the many "cities" that make up Metro Manila. It sits beside Pasay City, Makati City, and is just a short cab ride from Pasig City, Mandaluyong City and Quezon City.

It is also where the airport is located.

If your girl (or your hotel or accommodation or work place) has a Paranaque address then don't worry about it too much. You are likely to be reasonably close to all of the various Manila fun places that are described in great detail in this thread, including EDSA Complex, Burgos Street, Cafe Havana etc and the massage places already mentioned.

It seems that girl travelling with foreigner will have little trouble. I'm not sure whether to get her a return flight now. In all probability she will want to extend the visa and spend more time in Thailand ain which case it would be $120 wasted flight money.

YMMVThe money has always been a requirement, to any country, if you are getting visa-on-arrival, as 'proof of finance' and that, again, is the headache of the receving country, not the departing country.

Whatever paper you have, the Phil Immigraiton has a target to stop x number of people so they can pat themselves in the back for having rescued such victims. Go figure.

Last year, a total of 60, 000 passengers with everything in order were stopped by BI. And they are quite happy, as the more they stop, the more $ comes from US to fight trafficking.

I know enough cases of those with valid in-principle-approval for jobs in Singapore, all paperwork in order, refused entry, and then after submitting a medical cert in a 'approved' center, they were allowed to fly to Singapore.

And some, the BI demanded the Employment Agency details, and when the candidate asked innocently how to pay 3 months salary as placement for a 6 months training contract, the BI guy had said "that is the law, no agency, no leaving." and only when the candidate became vocal and started drama, the BI guy had let her through.

It is all a massive scam, from POEA onwards. Govt Endorsed and enforced.

It won't be wasted money, and a return ticket will be a necessity if she gets asked for it in BKK. Cerainly with PAL you can easily change the date of return travel for between $25 and $50 USD depending on any ticket price differential, which there usually isn't as the fares seem to remain the same (depending on season).

Phils and Thailand are both ASEAN countries, so she does not need a visa to enter the country.

I guess if she wants to stay longer than that, she will have to go to immigration for an extension. But I expect that this is no hassle.

If she is with you, there should not be any interogation re income, funds etc.

I did this recently, as you know. But we had one way tickets only. She got a grilling in Manila airport, because with one way ticket, there is a suspicion that she is going for purposes of prostitution. But after a while talking with each and both of us, she got through immigration.

You will have no problems if you go with return tickets.

Enjoy your trip.

GanglesIf she is travelling alone and when it comes to buying the tickets there are 2 options:

1. Send her money and she buys the tickets herself with obvious risks depending on how well you know her.

2. Buy the tickets online with your credit card.

The difficulty with 2. Is she may be asked by the airline to show the credit card used to book the ticket. In fact Singapore Airline at Manila airport ask me for the credit card when I book online for myself. For the girl, I have written a letter with a scan of the front of my credit card on the letter stating that I booked the flight for her and to call me on my international mobile number if there are any concerns. I print, sign, scan and e-mail the scanned letter to her. She colour prints one of these for each check-in, I. E. One for the flight from the province and for the Manila airport because sometimes the airline keeps the letter. I have never been called but she is regularly asked for the credit card.

Within ASEAN, they are not VISA. FREE. If so, all the filipinas and thai will be sitting in Singapore.

They are not 'visa free'. And with everything you mentioned, the immigration at the arriving country may still refuse the visa, and does happen, in Singapore and KL specially for filipinas

And las I checked, HK is not Asean.

PThere is a philipine travel tax that only philipinos pay, I think it is 1620 pesos. Once upon a time you could not send tickets to the phils for use out of there as some were not collecting the tax, so all tickets had to be actually issued in the PI. Now with elctronic tickets I think they just hold their hand out at the airport when the filis check in, no way round it, is designed to be a tax on the filis working overseas.

PI often buy my ticket with PAL (BKK-MNL-BKK) online 2 months in advance. My own experience, on check-in at BKK, they ALWAYS ask to see the credit card I purchased the ticket with. They have never asked to see it on the return sector, but by then I guess they are happy the transaction was genuine! The same holds true for internal sectors, often, but not always the check-in agent has asked to see the card on the first sector only. Never on the return sector! I would think after two months PAL would already have had their money from the card company.

PIt is made very clear in the instructions accompanying the ticket that if you booked online then you must produce the credit card that was used to make the booking or a certified facsimile of it.
It is very clear so you cannot feign ignorance. You need to do whatever it takes to assure the ticket-holders smooth passage.

The advice given earlier by other posters is fairly clear too.

I trusted them enough to let them have a copy of my CC. And considering LCCs are focussed on online sales and that majority of the people lack CC, they do compromise, to a great extent. Atleast in Manila and Singapore.

Aussiedog: the tax for PTA only applies if you are buying mainline carriers, like PR or SQ or CX. And the LCC fares include all taxes. If you buy PTA, then it is a cluster fXXk. It is better for you to, even on SQ / PR / CX, get the full fare ticket.

The only tax they need to pay, as everybody, is the airport / terminal tax.

Anyone try the Thai restaurant, People's Palace? I like the authentic (Thai people cooking Thai food is authentic right?) Thai stuff here. The reviews seem very favorable and the prices, although I'm sure it is really expensive over there, is ok.

Do you need to "dress nice" when going to more upscale places? I only plan on bringing t-shirts and khaki type shorts because the weather is around 30C.

I had lunch there a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent. I think the meal cost me about Php600 and it was worth every centavo. People's palace is in Greenbelt 3 adjacent to an entire row of reasonably high end places, or at least higher end places. It is not however,"really" expensive even by local standards. Some of the better French restaurants for example will cost up to $50-$60 a person.

Dressing nicely is not strictly required, though I think if you go to the high end places-Je Suis Gourmand, l'Auberge, le Soufflé for example-you're likely to feel distinctly out of place. You might want to consider brining along some khaki slacks and a decent sports short. I'm probably in a minority, but I would never wear a tee shirt except to sleep in, and I don't own any shorts. Sandals I wear only when I go diving, but then I like dressing well and it's important to me. If you're going to hang around Makati, particularly the Greenbelt area, then you might want to up your game. As to the rest of Manila, it doesn't matter much and you will see guys in shorts and tees all over the place.

Consistency is a key criterion for me. If you like it genuine Thai spicy you will need to ask the attendant to make it spicy. They tend to tone it down a bit for the local clientele who comprise 90% of their business.

You should bring a pair of slacks, a decent shirt (with a collar) , and a pair of shoes if you wish to eat inside a place like this. You can choose to eat in the outside area opposite the front door where shorts and Tee shirts will be fine.

The temperature at this time of year is not hot at all. The 4th typhoon of the year is passing through now (it has rained for 2 days) and a few more are set to follow over the next 3 or 4 weeks so it will not be hot here. In fact, you will freeze your ass off in most of the malls, and especially if you take in a movie while you are visiting.

Mr. O has already answered the main part of your inquiry. I would add that it is also close to the airport, Mall of Asia, and the Baclaran Market (if you want some local culture). It has a casino and is popular with flight crews. The lobby is wide and spacious and some might not like the so-called "walk of shame". I've never stayed there, but have stayed next door. Other than what Mr. O and I have mentioned, there isn't much appealing about the neighborhood. Be very careful crossing EDSA Blvd if you decide to pop into EDSA entertainment. BTW, EDSA is an acronym. Say it as a word.

Arrived in MNL in the middle of a typhoon, huge traffic jams, I thought I was going to have to swim to my hotel with my luggage after the taxi driver unsuccessfully attempted to drive on the walkway to avoid the flooded parts of Roxas blvd. It took 2 hours to reach Malate from the airport. I had negotiated a fixed rate of 700P, half what another taxi wanted to charge me, and double the normal price. However the driver turned the meter on, and it had reached 660P by the time we got to Malate so I did not feel ripped off.

Walked to MBC which was fairly quiet compared to my previous visits back when it was still LA Cafe. Average selection of girls, not many customers, soon enough I was approached by 2 ladies who offered a 3some for any price but they were also average and I passed. Left after 1 San Miguel and hailed a taxi to EDSA entertainment complex. The driver quoted 200P and I passed thinking that was too high, next taxi told me EDSA is closed, then agreed to go anyway and turned the meter on, which came to 220P, oh well.

Same deal at EDSA, which of course was not closed, few girls, few customers as expected due to the storm and the fact that with the traffic it was 1AM when we reached the place. The taxi driver tried to drop me off at Roxas and have me walk to Firehouse because the road under the bridge was flooded. Ha ha, no way man, I am not swimming!

Even Firehouse had an unusually low selection, ended up at Bullets & Arrow, which remains open until 3AM. Mamasan immediately introduced 4 girls, I picked the taller one, Kris (tal). Beautiful body and face, she was a sweetheart and we had a few drinks while I envisioned a night of debauchery followed by a BJ with breakfast. I told her to call her friend over, #52, pretty girl who ended up being either shy or not interested, or did not want to compete with her friend, she just sat there and did nothing. They offered a 3some but I left with Kris. Back at the hotel, she gets undressed and takes a shower, really great body, firm breasts, just the right size, we get to bed and she turns on the TV. Then it all went downhill. A dead fish with rules. No DATY no finger, no touching my ass, no DFK, I am ticklish, you are too big, the whole 9 yards + her pussy smelled a lot of condom, or something else that did not smell good, which did not really fit with her story of I have worked here 3 weeks and had 2 customers, both Japanese. Thinking about it her pussy smelled of expired seafood.

But at 3:30AM with a typhoon outside I was not going to go back hunting, so I took the easy route and just enjoyed what I had, which in the end was OK because her body was just so well proportioned. Hell if I can unload looking at a magazine I can do it looking at a beautiful dead fish. Made sure the condom was secure, did a couple positions and finished as soon as I could. Gave her the ST fee (2500P) and she was on her way at 4:30AM.

Going to AC tomorrow, hopefully will have better experiences there.

Anyone here run their company or business over in Phillipines? Looking for an american who has moved there and can help me with some realistic info on cost of living and places where I would feel comfortable living. PM me I would appreciate it.Run a business in Manila? Unless you know what you are doing, and committed, don't do it. .

As I write this, a Maldivian, having been in and out of Philippines for 10 years, just realised that one of the top property developer from whom he bought an apartment in Shangri La Edsa, has to still pass him the deed papers, almost 1 year since fully paid.

And, I could go on and add that since the church preaches rich must give to poor, and all non-Filipino are rich, and if you run a business, you are super rich, it is ok to kill the Golden Egg laying goose.

@Mahal - that wasn't a typhoon, just a minor tropical storm. You should experience what it's like in a real typhoon.

That seems to me far too much, or have taxi prices in MNL tripled since past February!

HesekielsThey have increased substantially with the new costs.

The flag fall is 40 php and each meter click is now 3. 5 php.

From my home to my office used to be 100 php and it is now 160 php.

Some of you who haven't been here for a while might need to re-calibrate your expectations of fares.

The good side is that I tend to find far more new and clean cabs now with the stricter regulations from LTRFB.

All the more reason to hotel near your mongering. I mean within walking distance. Saves time and money. That's what I do. Several reasonable hotels near MBC e. G, Eurotel across from Robinson's was only $35 / night. Great Eastern Hotel near Burgos in Makati is only $28. Use agoda. Com to book. I know RK knows this. This post is for other newbies.

I had a lot of cabs recently in Manila / Makati area, all drivers immediately switched on the meter, no discussions, no hassle, no problems, got me to my destination, I gave 10-20% tip, off we go.

Reminds me to the very good BlueBirds in Jakarta.

After my first 2 nights in Makati, I decided to not spend a 3rd night in Makati, when I came back from Iloilo. The girls are so agressive and the prices are so high, I decided to spend 2 nights in AC. I got a girl from Coyote Ugly named Rochelle 18yo, she got on top of me and put me in bare back, I figured I am already in this 18yo bareback, so I just went with it and fucked her 6 times over 2 days bareback. I did sneak in one other girl from Treasure Island named Shela 18yo she had short hair and great tits. I got a BBBJ and fucked her with a rubber. On my flight back to Arizona, my penis started hurting burning at the tip. After about 3 days, I could not even sleep and white stuff was coming out my dick. I went to the doctor today, to find out I got the Clap. I thought all girls where clean at the bars in AC cause they get tested every week. But I learned my lesson. I am pissing fire now.

Now that I recall the events back in my head, the girl named Rochelle from Coyote Ugly had a name badge of a different girl. I wonder if she failed her test and used someone else's badge. I guess I will never really know.

I've got a buddy that got that shit 3 times so maybe look at the bright side, you might be smart enough to learn from the mistake my buddy still will screw anything without a condom and just pays for it later I guess.

How many thousands of girls are there, how much time does each doctor have for each girl? More than 5 minutes? You do the math.

BTW, what kind of treatment did you get from the doc? Ceftriaxone?

HahaI don't think anyone will doubt that bareback feels 1000x better. The ranks of the Bareback Brigade keeps growing in spite of the casualties cause by the Clap. Frankly, most mongers see the Clap as an occupational hazard and pretty much no one covers up 100% of the time. Shela will probably have a bit of a sore throat for a few days but she will be sharing the love and burning mongers' dicks like bacon with her BBBJs for months before she figures out something isn't quite right. Pinays only seek medical attention when in unbearable pain. At least some guys know to avoid Shela and Rochelle now! ;)

Maybe there are 20 with clap in Lollypop.

It's not.

http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?1001-General-Info&p=1169194&viewfull=1#post1169194There is something called inherent resistance. Not all mongers will catch the disease even if they fucked bareback the same girl with disease.

I guess it mostly depends on various factors.

One guy I met in AC on a recent visit got friendly with me and we mongered together. He wanted to go to Santos St bar. I told him those girls are risky sometimes. He told me he is taking antibiotics.

Already and cannot get hurt. So we went there and I just had a drink. He went inside and did everything bareback.

It is hard to say if he got anything and also most mongers do not admit to catching anything.

I'm taking a 19 year old to HK soon and am now educating mine about how to do it.Freebie, I had this exact situation last yr. The customs man in Manila made her call her father before she could pass thru customs with me. When I became angry and questioned him, he explained that she is very young and I could take her to "the big city" and take advantage of her. It all made sense. I would be prepared for this to happen to you as well.

Dex, I eat there all of the time. Really excellent food. Don't need to dress nice since it is casual. You can sit outside if you feel underdressed. Also, the restaurnat next door. SALA is the same owner. It is excellent as well.

If you want more recommendations. All of the restaurats at Greenbelt 5 are good. The restaurants at Fort Bonifacio in what is called the Serendra area are excellent.
