Anybody have info, directions on the new bar complex near the airport in Manila? I hear there are four or five new bars similar to what they have at the Edsa complex.
There are now about eight to ten new go-go bars across from the Domestic airport. I was there one week ago. Complex is all new construction, very clean. Ladies and drinks priced about the same as EDSA. However, very few mongers to compete with.

Hi. This is my first post to the Philippine section. I visited Manila early last May to attend a friend's wedding, and decided to check out the local mongering scene. I was able to find this place called the Skyline Health Club, and I'd like to thank the poster who gave directions on how to get there, because I really had a great time.
The establishment itself is on the 8th floor of the Grand Boulevard Hotel. I guess the set-up of the Skyline is similar to other similar establishments in Manila. You first pay a fee to the Health Club, and then you'll be taken to a room where the girls line up for you to pick. Not sure if the window is one-way or two-way.
The girls are all dressed in short bathrobes, and either wore push-up bras or are really stacked for their size. From what I've been told, Skyline operates 24 hours/day, so it looked like my selection at the time were girls around 5'6" and below.
I picked a girl which the management claimed to be "new" (i.e., working there for 3 months). Her "ID number" is QQ, and she calls herself Gem. My luck with working girls has been pretty spotty; but Gem was definitely a treat. She became a maneater once we got down to business!
She teased - and I mean teased - me, slowly petting her way up my legs. Nibbling the skin on my knees, thighs, and hips. She came up and licked my nipples, then took her time working her way down to my dick. I was so ready I nearly came in her mouth when she finally went down on me. And I didn't even notice her put the condom in her mouth until she raised her head.

Sugar is not as skilled as Gem. I didn't know what kind of service to expect from the Skyline the first time I tried it, so number QQ really blew me away (in more ways than one). I guess I was a little more prepared with Sugar, though I still had fun.
The Skyline has a fee of less P2,000, but they charge lower before 6pm. Afterwards, you have to negotiate with the girls. Not sure how far down you can go; the earlier tips about the girls settling for P1,000 no longer seem to apply - I paid Gem and Sugar P1,500 each the two times I was there. But that was haggled down from P2,000. And you get a complimentary drink, plus a semi-legit (if short) massage to go with the sex. I believe the price tag would be around USD50, give or take a few greenbacks. I'll admit it may be overpriced, but it's worth it.
The next time I'm in town I'm going to try Airforce 1. :p

I may be going to Manilia for a visa change this weekend. I am looking at arriving on sat and leaving on sun. Can someone post a good, reasonably priced hotel that is near EDSA. This is my first trip to PI for mongering and want to do as much as possible in the short time I will be there. EDSA seems to be a good mix of freelancers and bar girls, from what I have read here. Any help and contact phone numbers on the hotel would be great. Also, how much I pay these girls? I plan to have 400

Given that you're only going to be there one night, I would stay at the Heritage which is diagnolly across the street from EDSA. It's a five star hotel, but with a little negotiating, you can get a room for about $50 ++ which leaves you plenty of money for chasing women, and plenty of time because you can walk from the hotel to EDSA in less than 5 minutes.

I am entertaining the idea of traveling to the Philippines for a few weeks.
This will be my first time. Where are the recommended places for action.
What places are not recommended.
Cities? Hotels? Bars? MP's?
How much money is recommended to take along? Couple of grand U.S.? I want to do some SCUBA diving so include this into the recommended places.
Hotel rates? And any other info would be welcome.

As GoodEnough suggests, the Heritage is excellent value for money. I always stay there although very rarely visit the EDSA complex these days. You can book Heritage online at www.asiatravel.com which has the best rates. $60 at the moment.
My suggestion to anone new is use a guide to find your way around. Check out JR, cellphone 0917 414 5416. I always use him in Manila and he is honest and will find you what you want. You can either use him to tour clubs or just to take you to a casa to pick up a girl. Its much safer than trying to find your own way around. In Heritage you will have no problems taking girls back.
If you havent already done so, read back for the past few months and you will pick up a load of useful info from this board.

IMO, never use a guide, unless you can't speak english well. Everybody in the PI speaks english for the most part especially if you are in Manila. You can find all the info there is on this board, there is no secret places that a guide can take you. Any taxi driver in Manila will know where to go, all the casas, all the clubs, etc. Why pay more and give the guy a commission when you can keep it for yourself. The so called non-pro's or college girls that the guides will bring are just Casa girls, so don't pay the commission. Sex is too easy to find in the PI, don't let someone mooch off you. The only real way to find a non-pro is to use the dating sites, that's it. Let's not be stupid and think a non pro will ever be brought by a guide. Every Casa is known by every taxi driver because they are suppose to get a cut, what you do is tell the Casa that you requested that you be brought there, especially if you have been there before. They should give you a discount since they will not be paying commission to the driver. Just tip the driver a 100p, more than enough.
I honestly believe that Manila is relatively safe, of course don't be stupid and use common sense. I travel alone throughout Manila, to Cebu, to Nueva Viscaya and I am not filipino and nobody ever hassled me. Just use common sense and since you speak English they won't mess with you. The people there are very kind for the most part.
I went to the PI for the first time 3 years ago, only armed with the info on this board and other places. In your first trip, you will pretty much know everything.
I've been back at least 10 times in the last 3 years and seen and done everything that was recommended on this board. I can honestly say that if you read this board, you'll know more places to go to monger than the guide so why pay him to just drive you around. If you really want a driver, you can hire a driver from a taxi company for half the price you will pay a "guide". When you walk out of the airport, you see all the taxi stands, just ask them their rate for being your driver, haggle, you will get a good deal, if you must have a driver, but honestly that is retarded because taking a taxi is easy, even if they don't turn on the meter, just get out and pay them what you are suppose to, I've never had one taxi driver complain because they know they are in the wrong for not turning on the meter. The police will be on your side if it comes down to it.
So my recommendation if you plan on going to the PI alone or for the first time, read this board and just go. Need to find a Casa, just ask any taxi driver, he will take you. Need to find the P. Buergos ask any taxi driver, need to find Edsa ask any taxi driver. Why pay a guide to take your money. If you really feel the need some help finding girls in the PI, you probably are too stupid to earn money so will probably not have enough to afford a plane ticket anyway.
Also, for the most part, it seems people are willing to meet up in the PI for a few beers. If a long time member with many posts says he is willing to meet up at say LA Cafe or wherever, go and have a beer, ask questions. But the best is to ask all the questions on this board.
Don't pay a guide, get more girls for your hard earned money.

Don't think you're going to find very good diving in and around the immediate vicinity of Manila. The water's too polluted with industrial and human waste. If you are really into diving, get well away from the metro area. There are dozens of sites. There's also good reef diving at Paradise Island, which is a ten minute boat ride from Davao, and it's easy to find equpment rentals and diving groups.

If you're trying to keep it close to Manila, Anilao (down near Batangas) is pretty good, especially if you like "muck diving". Be prepared for lots of litter.
But, as a first timer, I would recommend Sabang in Puerto Galrea.
Night life, very nice diving and an easy hit from Manila. Best way for the beginner (IMHO) is the "Si-kat" bus/ferry. I think they still run out of the City Tower in Ermita. One departure daily, 9:00 AM sharp. My favorite hotel in Sabang is the Atlantis. Pricey for some, $30 US to 70 US (for nice suites).

I only recommended a guide to newbies in Manila, and only a guide who is known and trusted by many members of this board. Even if you speak English some taxi drivers wil rip you off. I had a friend, who is an old asia hand, robbed last year in Manila by a taxi driver who pulled a gun on him ! OK, this is a very rare occurrence but it pays to be careful. Mookman has been travelling in Philippines for three years without trouble. I have been travelling in Philippines for 23 years without much trouble but I still recommend a guide for anyone new, until they find their way around. Everyone here has different advice and that is all it is, advice. So make up your own mind guys, but remember, when you walk out of a club at 3am in the morning, that its nice to have a face you now is trustworthy waiting for you.

My case, I never bring more than 500 to the PI. There are ATMs, banks (though I don't know why but many won't take visa) that will take a few percents off your withdraws. It's worth it because you'll never know what will happen to cash. As for girls take a bus or cheap fly to Angeles City, 50 miles away, where everything concentrated in one place, no need for taxi (go to the AC forum and ask more detail questions if you need). From there, after all the fun, you can either go alone or bring your favorite bar girl to the Island of Boracay, where there are good beach, reef, food and hotels. As Mookman has mentioned, everyone speak English, easy to talk to and courteous, all you have to do is be the same in return but don't walk around looking like Bambi or flashy, just keep a low profile. I may be new to the board, here, but not to the PI as I've traveled there on several occasions to enjoy all the pleasures that the Manila Filipinas have to offer.
However, I'm going to be in Manila in 2 weeks, mid-day (noon-5pm), and for numerous reasons (mostly being with significant other), I'm going to be pinched for time. I'm staying at City Garden Hotel which is just a few blocks from Robinsons Mall (Glorietta?)
What I'm wondering is where can I go to find a selection of willing girls who, once one is chosen, will understand that I want to go immediately to a short-time hotel and get right to business? Is there someplace in the mall that cuties hang out, making themselves available?
Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

As previously suggested, the Heritage is the best choice if you're visiting the EDSA. It's right across the street. I've also stayed at the Hyatt on Roxas, which is right around. Heritage hands down. The other advantage to the Heritage is you won't need a taxi except to and from the airport.
I've heard the pros and cons of a tour guide. On my first visit I found the taxi drivers to be very frustrating to deal with. While they all speak English, many won't admit it. They are not always upfront with the cost. They also don't always take you where you want to go. Many get a cut to take you where they want you to go, so beware. I eventually found a tour guide at the EDSA who was more than willing to introduce me to her friends at the LA Cafe and in Makati. She didn't even mind if I did her friends infront of her. I love the PI.

Si Kat now leaves earlier, I got to the city tower at 9am last week but it now leaves 8 am, 500 pesos inc ferry. I got a taxi to take me to Batangas 1500 pesos then ferry 120pesos straight to Sabang beach, ferry left around 11.30 am. Can recommend highly, lots of freelancers not too many punters, 4 go go bars, girl 1000pesos a night 500 bar fine. No trafffic, no scooters, great diving. I stayed in the Big Apple, air con room 1200pesos/night, no problem with having a friend. What a place Sabang is, relaxed, friendly, no hassle, get out of Manila and go there.
I lived in Asia for years and have been to dozens of countries, and Manila was the ONLY place I ever felt unsafe. It seemed like everyone was out to screw you.
I was also robbed by a taxi driver that worked for the damn hotel I was staying at. i reported him of course, but I bet he's still there anyway. After it happened to me, I started talking to people and it seems that it's not all that uncommon. I don't know about getting a "guide" but I sure wouldn't trust anyone there.
Angeles city was fine, and I didn't feel unsafe there. There were the occasional crooks that try to say they recognize you, or they were your driver on your last trip or something. Also, don't get a shoe shine there. They will take a razor to your shoe and try to charge you to repair it!
It appears to me the mood of the thread here is indirectly leaning toward a new-cummer to have a guide in Manila. So where and how do I go about finding one and how much appreciate any info fellas I will probably be ther in about a month.

In my opinion, if you read through these posts, you should not need a guide as everything you need to know is in here. If you still feel you need one, get the number of JR, who is the person that a lot of guys in this forum have used before. His number has been posted here severral times, some of them fairly recently. I have never used him, or anyone else, and I have never had a problem having a good time in Manila, but I do listen to what the guys here have to say and I usually follow the advice. I have never been sorry and it's not often been wrong.

I have seen posts here that say that JR is just like any other taxi driver taking the foreigner on rounds and taking fat commissions.
I would suggest board readers should read the posts and make their own way. That way they would not get ripped off.

I first used JR after recommendation from this board and like many members have used his services and been VERY happy.!!
I have heard someone moaning about him (once) and he seemed like a total d**khead.!! I have also heard that JR was ripped off by some guys from this board who had used his services and then promised to meet him later and didnt show up.
At the end of the day this board is for information and advice but everyone should make up their own mind. Dont deride other peoples opinions because at the end of the day thats all they are - opinions.
Sure, JR takes his cut - do you expect a charity service ? This advice is for newbies who dont know their way around from a safety aspect because whaterver you believe, Manila after dark is not exactly a safe place, just like most capital cities in the world today.
Everyone to their own - happy mongering guys. Im back in Phils next week and although no stranger to Manila I will be using JR because he is useful to have around and knows how to find exactly what I want.

Let's kill the topic of the guides, both sides expressed their opinions, how about some post a review of JR then, someone who has actually used his services and how it is different from every other scam artist guide out there in the PI.
I'll put my money where my mouth is as the saying goes. I'll be in the PI around July 3-11 or so, if you need a guide of the PI, I'll do it for you but I'll charge you a can of SMB for my troubles, we can go to LA Cafe and see how ugly the girls are (disclaimer: for the most part at LA Cafe, same arguement as before). Check out the casas and things like that. Just drop me a PM.

I actually used JR 2 years ago and was not impressed with the quality. I tried his service just tot see if I'm missing anything.
I mentioned him to a buddy of mine and he tried him as well but could not get rid of him after that. Although, he was able to find a gem thru one of the casas that JR took him to.
Once you know the places to go to and comfortable with taking taxis, you don't really need a guide. Always make sure that the driver turn on his meter, if not get out and take another taxi. The doorman at my hotel always takes the license plate down for there record.
Also, just ask the hotel staff how long it will take by taxi to such place (trafiic included) the best route to take and again turn that meter on.
Just my two cents.

i was just there in the pi and spent most of my time at speedys in ermita its a small but nice place alot of girls there i knew the manager there from a place i went to last year thats owned by the same owner and i got great service there just ask for kuya roger and tell him mike sent you and he will take care of you say hi too agnus for me ,if you go there have a good time i did.

i am presently in manila for a couple of days, staying at the nikko dusit. last night, a friend of mine and i walked to the hard rock cafe for dinner. we sat at the bar in the smoking section at the rear. there were several women rep001tered around the bar and at various tables, and we sat next to two of them. it took about 1 minute to engage them in conversation and another minute before the two of them told us they were "in business" and would like to go with us. we did not take advantage of the situation, and did not discuss price, but both women were good looking, pleasant, and eager to part with their cell phone numbers.
i had never eaten at the hard rock before, though i knew from prior posts here that it is a good pick up spot. i can confirm this. we were there from about 8:30 to 10 and there were at least a dozen women obviously trolling for men. the quality was not outstanding, but it was not bad either. i suspect that more women came later on as the place is open until 3 in the morning. all in all, not a bad place. it has a pleasant atmosphere, mediocre (and loud) live music, decent food and reasonable prices.

Would have been nice to know how much the girls where asking. Two girls we hooked up with at Cafe Havana in Greenbelt took us to Hard Rock and before you know where we were hanging with at least 8 girls 'in the business'. However, they were asking for 4-5K for a few hours. Needlees to say we just enjoyed our drinks and hanged out until closing time.
The two girls were kind of surprise that we did not want to take them home with us.
I will be in Manila this November, hope we can hook up for a few SMBs.

I went last night to LA Cafe for the first time in months. I got there about 10 and the pickings were sparse. Lots of women, but no one in whom I was at all interested. Things changed about 11 when the pace really picked up and several dozen women came in, among whom were 3 or 4 with whom I would have tried to establish a connection. I wound up with two girls, who said they were cousins, both from Mindanao. We drank, laughed a lot, and then went back to my hotel where we tumbled around naked for a long, long time. The girls were adorable, friendly and, most surprisingly, did not want any money except cab fare. I had a great time and met them in the upstairs bar. I have concluded that LA is strictly hit or miss. The last time I was there, I found no one interesting at all. I do not want to re-open the tired debate; just saying that I had a great time last night.
I stayed at the Nikko Dusit Hotel, which has a smoking lounge off the lobby. I went in there to use the wireless Internet connection, smoke, and have something to eat. I was surprised to have been hit on immediately by two women, neither of whom was particularly noteworthy. However, it does indicate that there are hookers patrolling the nooks and crannies of the 5 star Makati hotels. One of the women I met the night before at the Hard Rock told me that the bar at the Shangri La is a great pick up spot. I did not check it out, but given that she hangs out there, I would assume she was telling the truth.

Myself and a fellow monger picked up two girls around Havana in Greenbelt 3. Or should I say they picked us up.
We were hungry so we suggested that we go to Hard Rock. They were completely against this for some reason. We ended up at Fridays across from Hard Rock. Had some quick dinner and then went to the Shangri La. It was dead. It was about 10:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The two girls looked very nice but we could never get them to come clean on what we could expect. My girl just kept saying I could get a massage or a special massage. We finally gave up on them and said we had to meet another friend. It was mongering buddies Birthday so we headed to EDSA Entertainment Center and hooked up with some beauties there.
I had not been to EDSA for about 18 months. I must say that the talent level there has improved greatly. With the lower cost compared to P. Burgos street I would strongly suggest a visit there for those in need.
On other matters, I find LA Cafe worth the trip. I have almost always been able to find decent to pretty girls there ready for action.
I also visited Hard Rock Cafe numerous times and the only girls worth any attention usually came in with a guy already. The free lancers I saw there were mostly over weight and ugly or pass their prime.

Last time I was in LA Cafe at midnight I sat by a girl who was really fed up she had no strikes so far. After no luck from me, she cleared off saying she was off to the ShangriLa bar to see if she better luck there. I also recognized an LA Cafe girl sitting at the bar at TGIF Glorietta. The girls move around, just as we do!
I was surfing the net and came across an article that mentioned Manila as 138 out of 144 as the most expensives cities in the world. Buenos Aires I believe was 144 with Toyko , London and Moscow ranking from first to third in that order. My question, is has anyone noticed Manila being an expensive city? I know Manila is more expensive then AC or any other part of the Philippines.

Being a foreigner living and working in the Philippines for the last five going on six years, yeah, I've notice that things have gone up in price. Gas (per liter), airfare, groceries and other consumables have gone up. But, the women still cost the same, about P1,000. cover charges in some clubs have gone up as well. But it is hardly noticeable.
My dollars go a lot farther here than any other country (except maybe Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia) than HK, Tokyo or Beijing. Manila/Makati can be an expensive place to stayor visit. What else can you expect in a city where its 10,000 people per square kilometer. At least, the majority of the population can understand some english.
Just my opinion though.

someone asked about where to go to find a girl for a short time, and one place is harrison plaza. its a mall on fb harrison st. just walk up to the 2nd floor, lean against the railing like you are just looking down on the shoppers, and someone will ask if you are looking for a girl. you will then have several girls around you, and you take your pick. just be careful, as some of the girls are obviously ****. they will know of a short time hotel nearby.
have fun, manila is a great place, but i prefer angeles city.
i disagree about harrison plaza, i've been there twice just for the heck of it since i read about it here. for one, you stick out a lot because this mall is a total locals mall. more of the low end stores so a little dirty surrounding, not as clean as say mega mall and mostly locals. i did not see one foreigner there in the 2 hours each time i spent there. there are girls on the rails on the 2nd floor but they are not good quality, they look like the rejects from a brothel. i would really suspect that these girls were kicked out of a brothel or ktv for having a std or something. so i warn you guys, i will make a bet that at least half the girls there have aids, no joke, just go there a see for yourself. also, a lot of the girls were not girls, they were lady boys so if the floats your boat. i did not see any girls that were **** at all. i walked around the whole upper floor, i did think that there might be a good deal for a cell phone at the used cell phone dealers upstairs.

Just to let you know. Since most of my stay are for one month. I do go to Harrison Plaza to hang out with the local at Goldielocks, or by the korean restaurant on the second floor. We go there to look at all the action walking, or hanging out.
Most of the girls are of the low end. When they are done at HP, they will go to LA Cafe to look for business, and most of the girls I know live close to LA, in Ermita, or Pasay. That is to tell you what kind of girls LA Cafe attracts.

I only spent one night in manila but nevertheless want to provide my feedback for others seeing as this forum has been such as great source of info for me.
We stayed at the Swagman Hotel, despite the negative comments by previous posters. The attraction was the free airport pickup and whilst it was well located for our needs and relatively inexpensive, i wouldnt stay there again. The rooms were a bit manky to say the least. My friend found the mother of all roaches in his room. As this was the first trip to the pi for both of us, both the airport pickup and the 'fly the bus' to angeles were the attractions of staying here.
Entertainment-wise, we envitably ended up at LA Cafe. Despite the mixed feelings about this place, i believe we must have arrived on the right night as the place was absolutely rocking. They had a dancing competition on and the girls were up for it. I walked out the door with a sexy little thing as did my friend.
My experience of the place is limited to this one night but i can only say that i was pleased enough to make this a definite venue for a future visit.
Got ripped off by a taxi driver on the way back to the hotel...i kinda new but was still disorientated about my surroundings what with it being my first few hours in an asian country. Furthermore, i had a few beers on board and the honey next to me was giving me some other pressing thoughts. Went to Makati, for you who dont know, Makati is a part of Manila.
Stay away from fixed rate on. On second floor you can hire incoming taxis and let them charge by meter. To Makati it was 91 Peso, compared to fixed price 400-500 P - guess this tells the most!

I stayed at the Palm Plaza Hotel in Ermita, Manila and for a small hotel, this place is pretty good. Only five minutes from LA Cafe, Roxas Blvd where there is nightly entertainment, and Robinson's Mall (I think that is the name of the Mall). I am not a smoker so La Cafe was just too smoky for me. On a Friday night, I swear there were more trans then there were women and the women were not that great looking. I had more fun at the malls just looking and being stunned by so much beauty of the clerks and the throngs of shoppers. I went alone and I had no problems walking around at night.
Unfortunately, I waited until my second to the last day of my stay to enlist the help of a local driver. He actually set me up with women and he told me the locals can get serviced for only 500-750 pesos. I paid him, I forget his name but he was a friend of one of the drivers at the hotel, 1000 pesos for every hook-up. I had fun but I should have known that befriending a local mongerer is the BEST way to go. Saves time and money and for me, when I need to relax, I really don't like to go hunting.
Advice, always have small change with you (1,5,10,20 pesos) because getting back small change is not a guaranteed. Especially with taxi drivers.

House Hunting! I want to look around the Manila area for a house or condo to rent. Not right in Manila but within maybe a half days drive. I think I would like a gated communiyt that caters to ex-pats. They don't have to be Americans but I do want the added security.
I will only have a couple weeks this next trip and I don't know anyone there so how do I get started? Should I be talking to real estate agents? If I don't find anything I like near Manila I will check out another area next trip - maybe Cebu or Daveo. I am at a loss how to proceed.

Back in Manila for a couple of days, and as usual staying at the Dusit. Last night, I went to the Cafe Havana, in Greenbelt, to check it out as I had never been there before. Some of the finest looking waitresses I have ever seen, but I was too early for any freelance action. As I left, and was walking back to the Dusit through Grrenbelt, two ladies sitting at a table in another restuarant asked me to join them, but I took one look and declined. The night was too young for me to have been tempted by such average looking ladies.
I intended then to go to the LA Cafe and Jurrasic Park, but it started to pour and I could not find any taxi drivers willing to drive that far. I finally did find one hustler who agreed, for the sum of PhP200, to take me to the EDSA complex. On the way there, he pursuaded me to check out a place called Victory; a strip bar about 2 kms from EDA. I reluctantly did so. The good news is that the ladies were totally nude. The bad news is that I didn't care and was sure they would have looked better in clothes. The place itself is a dive and if anyone ever tries to steer you there, avoid it.
I had not yet paid the driver, and insisted he continue on to EDSA, which he duly did. I went to the Firehouse, where I have not been in some time. Four or five ladies caught my eye, and I wound up with a 19 year old who told me she had been working there for 4 days. Come to think I it, I've never met a lady in one of these places who claimed to be working in the bar for more than a week or two. The girl was a knockout, and a solid 9. Wholly bananas, on a trip to China-town in Manila, I think more than 5 girls from the stores asked if I were available for them or their friend.
In Robinson Mall a girl "hijacked" me to her beauty saloon, to show me some beauty products and very soon she asked "are you married, go with me" and so.
In Harrison Plaza, another good mall just 1 km south of Robinson,
plenty of girls work within CS (Customer Service). Many local guides here don't ask if you want something - they ask what kind of girl you want!
On the street nighttime in Ermia a lot of locals guys will show you where to find girls of all your desires. My advice is that you try a local guide just to see how they work, bring you to a club where you decide yes or no to any of the girls 1500-3000 P. These guides get their kickbacks from the owner if you buy.
Just but be aware of many ladyboys who want to give you a massage you probably do not want!
In LA Cafe (open 24 hours) in center (?) of Ermita, at least 10 girls came up to me asking to stay with me. Looks like 80% girls here. At 4 am in morning, new girls from the clubs around drops by. Ages mostly 20+, some 18 and very few 30+.

Makati may have its own city charter, but it still suffers from many of the same problems like traffic, pollution and overcrowding which do not recognize city boundries. Although the problems are less acute than in other parts of Metro Manila, like Quezon or Pasay Cities (ALSO separate cities, but part of Metro Manila), Makati is no shining city on a hill as many Filipinos (and round eye residents) like to think.

As guide for others who has no idea where to find Makati when tey sit back home, I learned and just had to tell that Makati is a part of Manila. Taxi from Makati to Ermita (in Manila) is 1,5 USD - that's indeed very close to me.
Well guys, now I am back home for 2nd week, and I just miss that city!
Just spent 5 days in Manila. My female companionship had already been thoughtfully provided, but I did notice that the LA Cafe was quite well-stocked with all kinds of women. Wish I could fit that place in my bag when I go back to the UAE soon.

Back in Manila for a couple of days, and staying as always at the Dusit in Makati. This time, I'm with a new girlfriend, who is from Manila and visited me last week in Davao, It's pretty intense, so I have no interest in shopping around. I did meet some colleagues in the lobby here at about 7:00 this evening and there were two table of hookers, all of whom were 8-9. Well dressed, fairly discreet, but definitely hookers. When I came back down from the Thai restaurant where we had dinner, I noticed that the hookers who had been there previously had gone, but there were two more tables of new ladies, again really good looking, well dressed, but on the prowl.
I have no idea of the cost, but any of these ladies was surely worth a second or third glance. For those staying here, who are too tired or too lazy to go out, the possiblities of one stop shopping seem to be fairly abundant.

Just want to warn that Hyatt Regency in Pasay tries to charge 1000 pesos for extra night guests. I got out of it because I always had the same girl and she just about scratched the manager's eyes out of his sockets for implying she was a prostitute.
Also, Hyatt does not really have a Cebu Pacific discount as advertised in the airline brochure. They say this is only for local residents. I put down a fake local address and got the rate anyway. But I think this place should be struck from the list. They're too much hassle. It's a shame because it's just around the corner from EDSA.

As a first-time Philippines visitor, I was very pleased with the scene at the L.A. Cafe.
You go in, have a drink, girls smile at you if they are interested -- if you are too, smile back and start talking. If you are still interested, buy her a drink. Take time to get to know her. If you still like what you see, invite her back to your room. (I recommend the City State Hotel. It's within walking distance and the staff is generally friendly and courteous.)
There are more men than women there, and as my friend put it, every girl there has a price. It seems like the ideal situation for both the men and the women. The men get a hassle-free bar experience, with a guaranteed score, and no one but the girl to negotiate with. The women get to check the guys out, and move on if they are not interested, with no hard feelings. It is a civilized mongering experience.
You are not going to get fashion models here -- so snobs, check your standards at the door. However, you will get friendly, cute, young girls, with nice smiles and non-hardened attitudes, in jeans and cute tops. My friend met two college students (he checked IDs!) who go there only occasionally, they said.
The girls were nice in bed, too. Friendly and funny, full GFE. For the record: Gina, Bench, and Elsie -- over a span of three days.
Would that there were places like this in every country. Korea, get your act together!
By the way, I didn't discuss price with any of the girls before leaving the bar. Just my style. I know that I overpaid with the first two, but I think I got it about right with the third: 1500 pesos (about $27) for all night and through breakfast in bed the next morning.

The other thing to point out is that these places generally have a very high turnover rates of gals and can have a good crop one month and hags the next. Nothing wrong with asking about where the latest "better" places are to go. What was good 6 months or a year ago may have turned to shit by now. Updates from time to time are well needed.
I don't know Manila too well as I only travel there a couple times a year and have my own regular hangouts but do like to know where the good massage joints are cause when you got a couple of hours to kill before a flight or meeting, you can't beat a good rub down and a little "extra" polishing.

Try Skyline in the Grand Boulevard Hotel on Roxas. I think it's on the 7th or 8th floor. Decent rooms, good looking girls though more "Filipino" style tastes than western. This means that they are generally whiter skinned (or powered up more), fuller bodied, taller, mestiza type girls. Myself, I am more partial to the little brown girls but I'm not real fussy. They also have 2, 3 and 4 girl specials if you're really gung ho.

In response to your posts, both of which you both seem overlook the fact that all you need to do is basically search through the posts to find still current information. When I visit a country I always take time out to actually scroll through this year’s posts.
I have no problems helping anyone who is new to country but first of all you should try helping yourself first, I don’t know why it is that people (not necessarily you) do not spend some time scrolling through the posts and instead want someone else to provide you with a detailed tailored list of where to go, what to spend, clothes to wear, how to bring your money and what to do when they get to a new country?
Yes, you are correct it is all about sharing information but this year I have travelled extensively and its not finished yet, I have posted information on Dubai, Thailand, Philippines, Dominican Republic and a couple of other places not worth posting from; like it has been said by many other people before me when people who post these questions and receive help from others – how many of you actually do post a report. I have helped 30 plus people (I kid you not) this year alone and how many do you believe have actually posted anything…….? Well, the actual number is only one, and that was Desert on Airforce One, which a great deal has already been posted on this board – so if its all about sharing information maybe you should try returning the favours to fellow mongers and actually post useful information on your return.
I have received e-mails from people on other threads who say much the same thing but in much stronger terms – about people posting anal questions that can easily be found in the thread. As one of them said to me – if someone is really posting such a “dumb assed” questions it makes you wonder if they should really be travelling in the first place.

Just go back and check out my posts this year in Manila & Angeles City its still current because a friend of mine has just returned and told me apart from the change of girls, price hikes and weather its very much the same. So once again - take my advice and first try spending sometime going through the posts here, there is still a lot of information contained in the threads.
My only tip to you is please buy yourself a decent digital camera, learn how to use it, to show off your 8-9s beauty queen you score with, if you actually do post a report.

I agree that most of the information that any newbie could want can be found by scrolling through a few months' worth of posts. Maybe guys just do not want to do the research. On the other hand, I get PM'ed frequently by guys whom I've tried to help, telling me that they found the information contained in here to be accurate and extremely helpful. Maybe these guys simply have nothing more to add to what's already been said.
I wonder what percentage of guys who read these pages actually do post. For that matter, I wonder what percentage of members do any posting. I would imagine that there's a substantial percentage of people who find the posts interesting and informative but, for one reason or another, do not wish to make contributions in writing. I do not know about you, but I get lots and lots of PMs from people who have never posted and probably never will.

It's been 4 years since I was in Manila, but I did go to a Thai body to body soapy massage. I don't know if it's still there, but it was in Quezon City not to far from pegasus. It was either on Timog or quezon Ave. It was next door to a place called Rolex. Ask the taxi drivers to take you to Rolex, I don't remember the name of the massage place but it was next door to Rolex. Ciao, FL.

No I have not used the search facility in a while but this still does not stop anyone from scrolling through all of this year’s posts. Yes, I know it takes time but it is still working; however, because too many people already post such lame questions, on this thread, that have already been answered numerous times, I doubt it would take anyone more than an hour to seek out the information they require scrolling through.
I just find some of these pointless questions truly mind boggling; I mean someone actually joins a sex forum, of which it is clearly spelt out what we are here for, then posts a lame question like:

I intend arriving at the Manila international airport at 11:45 pm on a flight from Hong Kong. I was wondering if it would possible to get a taxi (or some other form of transportation?) directly to Angeles City that night from the airport?
And if you could, how much would it approxiamtely cost and how long would it take to get there?

It really depends on how you fancy going but if you arrive at 11.45pm, by the time you clear customs & immigration it’s likely to be around 1am.
Yes, you can find taxis prepared to take you up there from anything from 1,500 – 3,500 pesos but take my advice would you really want to make this journey at nearly 1am for 3 around hours? Its not a good idea; also depending on where you are staying in AC the hotel may be able to arrange for a car to collect you at NAIA at a price.
Take my advice, why not stay in a hotel overnight and leave first thing in the morning it not a good idea to be travelling in any city at these hours.

I agree with Juniour. You will be wasting a full night if you go up to AC that night.
You won't get there until 3am and (IMHO) its a waste.
I suggest you stay at the either Heritage, Hyatt, or Swagman Inn(make your choice depending on how much you want to spend), which are all in Pasay. You can either go to EDSA complex for the night and get a lady, or if you stay at the Swagman you can just head over to LA Cafe which is really close.
Then, the next day, you can take a transport from Swagman up to AC. Its very easy and cheap from there, as they have a bus that goes up there several times a day (or they used to).

As mentioned, a prearranged van from one of the places in Angeles (Margaritavillle, Orchid,others) is a good way to go. Taxis booked inside the airport terminal are also safe. But, the only advantage to heading up to AC at that time of night is better traffic.
An overnight will give you an extra night of fooling around, but forget the Swagman (in Ermita not Pasay). True, it's "Fly the Bus" service to AC and beyond is a very nice way to go, but there are many nearby hotels that offer more for less. Don't eat or drink there (expensive) unless you have an overwhelming urge for some "Aussie tucker".

I am going to Manila on September 24. I am staying at the Swagman (Ermita). Why I am doing this is that they pick you up at the Airport (free of charge) and take you to the hotel. They include a free breakfast and then the naxt morning (11:30) you can take the Fly the Bus to Angeles for 11 or 12 dollars from their front door.
I don't know how far you are flying to get to Manila but if it is a flight from North American, you may need a good nights rest before you hit Angeles.
I haven't got the website handy but if you do a search on the net you will find it. It could be www.swaggy.com ???

Under normal circumstances I would stay the night in Manila and catch the morning Fly the Bus as I have done several occasions before.
I have been to the Philippines many times however on this occasion because of work committments I can't catch my normal Thai Air AM flight from Japan that usually lands me in Manila in the afternoon and I have to catch plane to the Philippines via HK, arriving 11:45 pm.
I need to be in AC early on Saturday morning hence my desire to catch a taxi straight from the airport late Friday night/early Sat. morning.

The normal thing to do is to stay in Manila for a day then go on to AC the next just like many have suggested. I did that once but then I couldn't sleep with my "woody wood pecker" on the whole night. one final note on getting to AC.
In the last 9 months or so, Asiana Air is flying directly to AC. I think the flight is from Seoul, but, don't quote me on that. I think they go 4 days/week.
I'd love to see more people use this flight as I wouldn't want it to go to waste.

Q is the name of the massage place beside Rolex that offered the "Thai style" soap massage. It has been closed though for quite a while (around 2 years). The girls in the joint were mostly subpar in terms of looks. But the soap massage was worth the experience :-)
I believe Star Fleet in Paranaque might still do soap massages from what I have read in other boards. But I haven't been there in a while.
I've just returned from the Philippines recently. I stayed in Taytay Rizal in manila near Cainta. There is A place in Cainta accross from Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Called Genie Magic KTV. The girls there are Choice. First of all you get to choose from a line up. I got in on a special of 800 pesos, then tipped the girl 1,500 for everything. She was like 19 yrs old I would say an 8. The place is a big building. It was great. There used to be a place in Kubau also where you can pay 100 pesos for entrance then select a number for a girl 1-100 then get a massage and service. I'm not sure if that place is still up.

Mostly they are for rich locals and HK or Taiwanese business men who can afford the high service and barfines. Most of the girls are either chinitas or mestizas but top quality. Went to the Grand Boulevard Hotel on Roxas, 7th/8th floor. Don't remember. Pay 1500 for the entrance fee, they call out about 20 girls and you view them on the other side of a two way mirror. Pick the number you want that is attached to the gal and head for the room. I choose number 78. Never again. Good attitude, good conversation but NO oral skills at all and no technique to write about. She wanted 1500 up front. So, I'm out 3000 P and a bad time.
Stayed at Swagman a few days, easy to pick up a gal or two their and went to Puerto Galera for some diving. Ocean diving, not muff diving! But I did check out the local titty bars and the dancers. I did not try any of the gals though. None seem to get my attention.
Overall the PI is a good place to kick back which is what I wanted to do and spend little money. But crowded as hell, dirty and so many homeless people begging for money. Very depressing at times. Especially seeing the little children begging. You have 4 and 5 year olds diving off the boats and piers to collect the coins that people are tossing in the water. Some were really hungry for food!
Some great looking women, people showed manners and lots of respect. Unlike korea where the people are the cesspool! Not so much the women as the korean men! What garbage they are! Even in PI they acted like animals treating the women bad.

In PG from 13 September to 23 September. Water was warm, diving was great, visibility was great also. Night life? All of the Philippines have great night life! Depends on what you want and are looking for. Same with the quality of the girls. Depends on what gets your attention. The Philippines sells itself. I went for the diving and to relax, kick back and chill. Food was great. Companionship was plentful and cheap. Depends on how you treat the gal if she will treat you well.

You won't find anything quite like Soi Cowboy in the RP. But, you might enjoy the EDSA complex. Also, L.A. Cafe is walking distance from the City State Tower or the nearby Lotus Garden. Both girl friendly. Forget Swagman. Probably the worst value in M. Manila.

I need some advice here. I'm new to the Philippines, travelling early december, but have some experience of the LOS, Pattaya to be more specific. So, how do things here compare to Pattaya? John, I'm an old Thailand hand, now living in the PI, Pattaya(and Phuket) was my preferred place over BKK, there is just no comparison to Thai girls over Filipinas, Thai are more mercenary and more deceptive, I would never do more with a Thai than BF orone nighter, I can speak Thai pretty well and I hear all the things they are saying to rip you off. General rule of thumb, Thailand for better mindless sex, PI for a girl next door type you can pick up in the mall for a bounce but probably wants to be Mrs John 58
IMHO Thai girls are better at sex, less shy and are more enthusiastic about the whole thing. They are a little reluctant about a blow job but thats a cultural thing, also, Thai women are more likely to be a "bowling ball" (all three holes)than Filipina, I've only done three out of about thirty Filipina in the rear door,however, Filpina are better at blow jobs.
The great thing about the Phils is that you can get laid for free, well thats a relative term but you can pick up girls who are not bar girls easier than in thailand, where not many self respecting Middle to upper class Yings will be seen with a Falang. Here its possible to get a non pro who speaks great english, parade around with proudly like a trophy catch, they actually like Americans (an other foreigners) but the kicker is they are more oriented to a steady, thats is to say a husband or fiance than just a quick trick.
In this instance you may have to court the girl or meet her some other way than by going into a bar, picking out a go go dancer or one in the fish bowl ala Pattaya.
The further you get away from Manila the better IMHO, Manila sucks, the closest you will get is Ermita, Malate or Makati similar to Nana Plaza or Pattaya beer bars. You should definitely check out the provinces like Cebu, however, your best hunting may be here in Davao. If what you are after is some cutie you meet in the mall then boff in your hotel room.
Spamhog says the over thirty lady is a sure bet for this one, however, you can pick up the younger "tuition girls" looking for a quick fling with a foreigner for a few thousand pesos, these are semi pros but really the best deal going.
Of course we have several "professional" outlets, girls are quite nice,I suggest you go to the Davao board and check out what guys like Dragon Slayer and Good enough are saying, it seems to me that prices are about the same, perhaps a littlel cheaper here in the PI.
I dont mess around anymore (kinda) as I'm married to a local lass, but damn I do miss going to LOS for a 2some with a pair of isan cuties!

The main reason I have never posted I guess is that I've never really had anything worthwhile to add - who am I kidding, I'm just a lazy SOB.
To introduce myself I am 30ish from Scotland but currently working in South China not far from Hong Kong and will be relocating to KL mid-November. I have enjoyed mongering experiences in Holland, Prague and the FKK clubs in Frankfurt as well as the Asian delights of China, Thailand, Singapore and KL.
To start off my first post with a question if that's okay, although some recent posts may have answered this already. I am planning a holiday to the Philippines for 2 weeks beginning of October and am looking for advice on where to go. I have done some research but it doesn't come close to the advice from the experienced posters. I plan to go to some serious mongering the first week with a mate from work and then I am on my lonesome for the 2nd week and looking for the best place to chill during the day and party at night.
My first thoughts are a few days in Manila/Makati then 4 days in Angeles City. For the 2nd week I have narrowed it down to Sabang beach in Puerto Galera or Boracay as I also want to take in some diving. What are the chances of picking up some decent talent for LT GFE at these places or is it better to take a girl from Manila or Angeles for the week? If so, where are the best places to do this: Manila freelancers from say LA caf¨¦ or go-go girls from EDSA, Burgos Street or Angeles City? Please bear in mind I am kind of picky and usually go for the 8 or 9's (if available!).

I am thinking of coming to Manila again. For mongering, but also for some shopping. Now, I noticed there were posts about guides, but JR seems a bit "rich" when he finds you girls for 3,000 Pesos. Manila and the Philippines is indeed filled with many beautiful women, but I would suggest that you are unlikely to find them in the LA Café, in my opinion it's filled with too many hardened pros who rate around an average of 5, being generous, for my liking. Burgos Street has better quality but at a price and the few diamonds in Angeles City are either already snapped up or have made their way down to the capital where they can earn the big bucks. However, outside of the bar scene in AC there are many regular girls, who with a bit of effort are looking for LTR.
I am sure if you use the search function you will find many of the other posts, good & bad, concerning the LA Café.

Being an old Asia Hand, I've mongered and then some in most or all of the Asian countries you mentioned I was stationed in E. Timor a few years back and used to run amok in most capitols. Now the PI was NEVER my favorite place (Bankok Pattaya) for mindless imaginative sex, however, I discovered a great secret once when stranded in the PI....there are girls here who you can pick up quite easily, non pro or non bar girls but regular ladies who are students, nurses, (had a lady dentist once) school teachers that will rock your world, I have to say Manila is the worst place for such most are freelancers, Pros or semi pros.
The Provinces are where its at, the best kept secret is Davao, where I currently live, however, CEBU may be the best for you, they have pro and several bars to serve that outlet, there are enough single regular girls to make chatting up or meeting a "nice girl" very easy, you can easily meet a lady and have her escort you to Bohol or Camigiun island for some great diving (muff and scuba) and other adventures, but I warn you, they want to be Mrs Robbo, the older ladies say 28 plus if unmarried or unattached are the easiest lays with the over thirty a sure bet, also probably will come out of the bathroom wearing a wedding dress so be prepared how your going to handle that. But I would say CEBU over Manila or AC any day, if your adventurous check out Davao.
About clothes shoes and stuff, the PI sucks in this regard if you have opver a size 34 waist or 38 chest, shoes are impossible cant even find a size 10 in Manila or cebu, there are tailors usually run by Byots (faggots) but the workmanship is nothing compared to the Indian tailers of Bangkok.

This may answer a few questions for you. I recently returned from 10 days in RP, six in Manila and 4 at Sabang beach. My point was pro or not, handing over a few dollars will help pros and non-pros alike.

In regards to hotels I suggest 2 NOT to stay at.
The Bayview Park on Roxas is overpriced (especially booked online), very intrusive and unfriendly. Shame because it is close to everything.

I hear that there is a new Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Ermita now. Has anyone spent anytime there? arrived in manila after a 14 hour flight. it was 5:30 am, so i knew that it would have to be skyline at it was the only massage parlor open before 12:00, and i just couldn’t wait until noon. i know it was considered by many to be the best mp in town with over 100 girls working there, but i also read that there were only 2 or 3 girls to choose if you went early in the morning. because my fiancé was arriving the next day for a two day visit, bringing a girl back to the room was not an option – yet.

i was surprised at how nice the grand boulevard hotel was. since it housed one of the largest full service mp’s in manila, i was expecting a rather low end hotel, but it appeared to rate about 4 stars – quite grand indeed. various signs indicating all of the hotels amenities, including a casino, but nothing to indicate the mp on the eighth floor.
as the elevator door opens, you see a big sign for the “skyline health club”. i guess they thought “skyline brothel” would sound tacky. from my many previous trips i knew to ignore most signs in manila and this was no exception, although a visit would be good for my health, if nothing more than to lighten my load.
went to the fishbowl and the manager called all available girls to the “showroom”. typical asian style with glass panels and thin strips cut out of the dark tint so that you can see them, but they can only see your eyes. three girls arrived, all of them cute, but no stunners – about what i expected. i picked a girl with a very pretty face and it was off to the room. the skyline has the whole 8th floor, so you get to have your session in a regular hotel room, which i like. the room boy said i had an hour and 15 minutes – plenty of time as i am used to 30 minutes back in the us. it was 1,220 p for the room (about $22).

next it was off to my favorite manila bar, la café. i saw about 15 girls there, with one that really got my attention, but again, i couldn’t let myself get tempted. she kept smiling at me, but i did my best to ignore her, although i wasn’t doing a very good job at it. it was about 15 to 3, including me, so again i got lots of attention. as opposed to past trips, none of the girls actually approached me. it appeared that management now discourages girls approaching men un-invited, and i appreciated that. i much prefer having a few drinks and making my own decision instead of the constant barrage of girls coming up to me and trying to get drinks, although this may only apply in the mornings. unfortunately, this same policy doesn’t apply to waitresses so there was no shortage of “hi, where are you from”. this was ok however, as the bar also has a policy of not hiring any dogs.
the next stop was robinsons mall to get some rolling papers from the cigar store, buy a cell phone, and get some food. since i had only gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the past two days, i was exhausted, so i went back to the hotel and fell asleep. i awoke at 5:00 am, i guess they call it jet lag, and wrote this day one report. i decided to write a thorough day one report because considering my very busy schedule for the rest of my trip (i am here on business), i may not have any time for future reports (and if i don’t, the abbreviated version will be girls, girls, more girls, and then some more girls)

I was surprised to hear that you had to pay a fee to bring a lady into the Hyatt in Pasay. I have stayed there at least 4 different times this year, a total of about 20 nights, and I have never had any problem bringing a young thing in the front door and up to my room. The first time I stayed there, I came in late at night with a spinner from LA Cafe and I only had to tell the doorman that she was "with me" and they had her sign in the book at the door. I found through experience that you could get past this process easily enough if the girl you were with looked like she was a girl friend, and dressed appropriately for the hotel. The last two times I have stayed there, I have never been questioned about the girl I was bringing in, and I guess I just have that look on my face that they shouldn't ask my "girlfriend" to sign in. Anybody stay at the new Hyatt Casino yet?
I visited the EDSA complex last nite, my last nite in the PI. There were about a half dozen bars with lots of girls. The quality seemed as good as Makati, with lots of girls in the the 7 to 8 range. There were also a few knockouts. I thought Samba Bar had the best lookers. The bar fine at EDSA is P1000, regardless of short time or all nite. You negotiate with the girls for their price. They were quoting P2500 for short time, which they said is three hours, but would probably negotiate down to P2000. They wanted P3000 to P4000 for all nite. Some of the knockouts only did short time. One girl promised me all nite for P2000 but changed her tune after we arrived at my room. She then settled for P1500 for short time after I threatened to go to the mamasan. Later that nite I spoke to the complex's # 1 knockout about prices. She told me that if a girl from EDSA quotes P2000 for all nite, she is giving you BS and will make an excuse to leave early. My impression is that EDSA is a high quality place, but too expensive. I would be curious about other mongers' experiences there.
Will, I finial visited Manila. I arrived at 10:40pm and found the drive there to pickup guest for the Swangman Hotel. I had booked a room there before I left the USA.

I've spent some time in Thailand. I came to appreciate some of the older women (28 to 35) that can be found via agencies, or occasionally working free lance. Well, I've been here two weeks now so it's about time for an update. I'll give a quick run down of a list of the best bars and some general observations.
I've been coming to the Philippines for several years and I don't think the quality of the girls has ever been better. For some reason, there appears to be fewer customers in the bars, but as many or more women than in the past. Many of the bars are packed with girls, with only two or three customers in the place, even late at night. My rating of the bars are:
1) Firehouse. This place still has the best meat in town. A typical night has 30 to 40 girls and 5 or 6 customers. Why the best and most well known bar has only 5 customers is a great mystery to me. I'm there at least a couple of times a week. Always at least a couple of hotties here, and I have yet to find a taxi driver who doesn't know the place. You can tell them EDSA entertainment complex, or Edsa extension at Roxas and they sometimes give you a puzzed look, but as soon as you say the Firehouse, they say "ah, the firehouse. Ok". Bar fine is still only a 1,000 Pesos, and the girls generally want 2,000 for a short time (a couple of hours) and 3,000 for all night, but will accept about 500 pesos less. My only compaint is the 17 year old virgins that them mamasans try to sell for 50,000. I know business is slow, but do they really have to stoop that low?
2) Visions nightclub on Roxas. This is one of the best kept secrets of the Manila bar scene. I've been there twice this trip and once last trip, and taken a girl from the bar every time. It is rare to find a bar with 100 sucess ratio. Usually about 30 girls in the place, but only a about 3 customers. The dutch owner has no problem finding a lot of cute girls, but can't seam to find any customers. Also, I find the girls here nicer then the other bars, and a much more relaxed atmosphere then say the firehouse. Bar fine is 1,000 Peso, and the girls will take pretty much whatever you give them.
3) The rest of the bars at the EDSA entertainment complex. While none is quite is good as the firehouse, I found some real hotties here. I've found My Fair Lady and Samba to be the best, and Pitstop and spacegirls to be the worst, but it varies. Cotton Club and Casino tend to be middle of the road.
4) P. Burgoss st bars. The bars here tend to be more expensive, and the woman of slightly lower quality then the Passay (EDSA, Roxas) bars. But there are so many bars here, with so many women, it can't be missed. Ladies drinks run 300 pesos and bar fine run 2 to 3 thousand. I've found the best bars to be Bottoms and Flamingo. Some of the bars are filled with some older and very agressive woman, and these should be avoided, but I never really kept notes on which ones they were. Bilboard is a unique bar. A lot of the women here are unavailable, but it has really upbeat, fun atmosphere with probably the best dancers in Makati. The Jools show is also very good, but set to appeal to the older set.
5) LA Cafe. The pickup bar that everyone either loves or hates. The word is seriously out about this place, as it is busier then it has ever been in the past. Forget about going there Saturday night as you will not be able to move or find a seat, even upstairs. The quality is generally pretty low, but you can find a real babe if you are lucky. About 95% are hags that return day in and day out, but you also have the 5% that show up for the first time because they heard it was a great place to meet a foreigner. A real cutie that I barfined in Angeles told me she lost her virginity a month ago to a guy she met in LA Cafe, and she wasn't going there as a ***** (but she soon became one).

Since I am "stuck" in Manila on business, I have only been able to make to Angeles for two nights, but what fun those nights they were! Angeles girls tend to be nicer and then Manila woman and much more eager to stay the entire night. They are much less expensive at 1,000 pesos all in, but are usually not as cute as the EDSA girls. However, you should have no problem finding a hottie to take home. Surprisingly, Saturday night is the best night in the Angeles bars as well as the Manila bars. I would have thought that there would be more competition from guys on a saturday night, but the number of customers stays stable every day, but apparently a lot more woman work on Saturdays. Saturday night in Angeles is just ridiculous. I had found 4 women that I bought drinks for thatrated at a 9, and I really coundn't decide which one to take home. The blue nile exectuve club had so many babes that I couldn't stand up due to the hard on I had. And I couldn't even see all of them as the stage was piled about 4 rows deep.
The best bars in Angeles are:
1) Blue nile executive club. A very classy layout that attracts the best girls in Angeles. The only problem is that it gets so packed, it is hard to find a seat.
2) Neros forum.
3) Las Vegas club
4) Bedrock. A small bar next to Neros forum, but in this trip as well as my last, had some of the cutest girls in town.
5) Blue nile.
Massage parlors
The best ones are still in Quezon, about a 35 minute drive from Ermita. I would rank Sylvanus, at the Pegasus club (every taxi driver knows it) as the best. Skyline at the Grand Boulevard is convenient if you don't want to go all the way to Quezon, but the girls there are not as cute.

Spent a few days in Manila.
To my delight quite a healthy scene is developing around the M.H. Del
Pilar, Padre Faura, Mabini St. area in Ermita/Malate. Several little
bars have opened in the past few months, possibly encouraged by L.A.
Cafe's success.
Have been waved into one while heading to LA. Tiny bar with about 5
friendly girls. All single mothers but reasonable looking, 18-22 years and eager to please. Rate P1500 Long Time. This is total cost, including BF plus girl's fee. No more to pay. Medically supervised, they say.
You pay upfront. Didn't buy them drinks but had a little chat. Moved on to
LA later on but it would be worth going back one day. Simply because
they are not freelancers and their particulars are kept on record at
the bar. Just in case. Bit wary to sleep with a freelancer in Manila.
At the LA. now there are Mamasans who look after many of the girls (not
sure if all). She introduced herself and sent around several reasonable lookers. All very friendly but not up to Angeles standards in looks. Rates seem to have stabilised at P1500 overnight in this area which is a good sign.

Hotels:
About which hotel is 'girl friendly'? It would be easier to count those
which aren't. As most of them in this area (Ermita/Malate) are. Practically everywhere you pay for double occupancy and two breakfasts anyway. Some places may simply add 1 or 200 pesos to your bill for double but wouldn't make a fuss. The Philippinos themselves are indeed very promiscous so they don't normally make a big issue of this.

My posts are intended to describe the learning experiences of someone with minimal mongering experience.
My adventure begins when I exit the international airport. I travel light, so I refuse the taxis and walk left. A guards asks where I'm going, and I reply "Casino Filipino" and he points me down the street. Most of the jeepneys there have signs saying Baclaran, and when I hop inside one, everyone politely ignores my existence. I quietly murmur "bayad ho", and hands are immediately extended and my 100P bill is passed from person to person to the driver. The change comes back the same way, 94.5P. Fares are posted in the jeepney (0-4km 5.5P and 1P for each additional km).
The people inside are helpful and a woman tells me which jeepney I need to take to get to Ermita. In Baclaran, take a jeepney marked Mabini. There’ll be others signs such as Dapitan, Quiapo, Harrison Plaza, or Divisoria which are also on the route. I get off at Salas St and walk to the Ermita Tourist Inn. The rooms are much better than I expected. The water is hot, water pressure is good, toilet and A/C works, and the room is very clean and tiled. The rooms gets cold quickly because it’s so small. The price is 660P, which includes a breakfast. I was expecting to pay 1200P for this type of room.
By the time I shower, it’s raining, but LA Cafe is a 2 minute walk away. It is 7pm and I am surprised by the quality of the girls. Quality seems slightly better than what I see in the malls, the jeepneys, or at the airport. When I first step in, someone wants to introduce me to her sexy friend. Very sexy and cute indeed, but I say I want to take my time, and I am left alone. I stand around 10 minutes before being asked to buy a drink. Several girls approach me, but I am not sure what to look for as I have no baseline or frame of reference to work with.

She says she doesn’t like the foreigners who approach her and assume she is like the other girls. The other girls will say “I love you” when they’ve just met you. (In the case of Cacai, she’s right, she did say that to me.) She doesn’t smoke, drink, and is a nursing student. She keeps asking me if I want her to leave me alone.
I ask her about the stamp on her wrist. She says girls must pay 100P to go upstairs until 3am. But the other band members have gone downstairs, so she’s here alone. The other band members never show up and at 8:20am I return to my room. I return to the bar at 8:40am, but she is not where she said she’d be waiting. I had asked her why she doesn’t just go home instead of waiting all night, and she says she can’t afford it. The only money I spend on her is 20P for a round of pool. She gives me her cell number, but doesn’t reply when I text her after buying a cell phone.

This is the continuation of my posts in the Angeles section.
Over the next seven days, I gain experience visiting hospitals in the Manila area. In all hospitals I went to, it is possible to ask for a doctor referral at the information desk and see a doctor the same day. 500P seems to be a standard consultation fee. Most of the expense is from laboratory fees, ER fees, and medications. Near the LRT / metrorail station at UN ave on Taft, there are two major hospitals that are a bit run-down. The Manila Medical Center is just east and the Manila Doctors Hospital is just west. My lab tests at the latter place all turn out negative, so a week later, I go to the much more modern-looking Asian Hospital by the Metropolis mall in Alabang where I pay about 10000P for a more extensive suite of lab tests. To reach this hospital, it is possible to take the south-bound bus on Taft Ave, which goes along Quirino, Osmena Hwy, and finally the expressway. This bus takes over an hour. From Ayala Ave in Makati, the bus only takes 20 minutes because it’s near the expressway. Taxis are no faster because travel time is determined by traffic conditions. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus anywhere in Manila.
I spend my free time dating girls I met online. Three of them in all, and the meetings are set up with relatively little effort. I basically went to meet the first three girls who agreed to do so. Sorry about that post from 11:20 at 7 am. I have no idea how that got there because I haven't been anywhere near the Korea board. Must be the new software. I'll try again and I hope Jackson erases that other one because it has nothing to do with me.
I was surprised about the fee also because they tried to spring it on me at checkout time without any prior notification. We called the manager and he explained it was a joiner fee for the girl. My girl, who was there with me, realized that they were basically calling her a prostitute/bargirl. She isn't that at all. I met her through a friend's introduction. When this manager saw that his eyes were about to be scratched out by my lady friend he relented on the joiner fee. This wise move saved his skin to nickel and dime foreign tourists another day.
I'm not sure if this is a regular policy. The hotel seemed to have it in for me because I was staying on a Cebu Pacific discount rate. Every day they were trying to get me to check out or pay a higher rate. On the fourth day they actually told me I had to move out, even though this airline discount rate is supposed to be valid for a week. So I moved over to the City Garden in Makati, which I can recommend to anyone. It's guest friendly and has a rooftop pool and gym.
As for the Hyatt Pasay I'll never go near the place again. They also hassled me about the discount rate when I checked in, saying it was only for Philippine residents. There is no mention of this requirement in any brochures and none of the other hotels who have this Cebu Pacific discount have this rule. After lots of trouble they reluctantly gave me the discount, but then hassled me every day I was there. So they saved a little money this time but for my future trips to the Philippines (2 months or so a year) they won't get my business.

Couple weeks ago decided to explore Pasay bars and also stop by famous LA Cafe.
The first night I went to EDSA Complex. First stop was Samba. There were about 25 ladies there but initially none really caught my attention. After a few visits, you can really get the entire vibe of LA Cafe down. I like it to effortlessly drink to excess without any hassle about lady drinks while you still get to indulge in a sea of girls looking to hook up. I entered Visions Nite Club at 7:50pm. It’s open from 7pm until 3am. Happy Hour is from 7-8pm and beer costs 55P during that time. Ladies drinks are 195P or 299P for a “special” ladies drink, whatever that means.
The girls looked maybe slightly better than in an Angeles bar. Black Hole in Cebu City had much better looking girls. However the lack of interest on the part of the girls was the same in both Black Hole and Visions. I could not establish eye contact with any of the girls, while in Angeles I have no problem doing so. i took taxis to and from makati central and the airport four times over the past week. get a metered taxi and it should be around 70 to 80 pesos. i advise not taking a hotel taxi as it is not necessary. just make sure the driver turns on the meter. tip what you will. getting a taxi when you first land is a bit more difficult with the set price (pay at the airport) of 250 pesos to makati on a metered taxi. beware of taking your hotel taxi because you may end up with a 500 pesos (or more) add on to your bill.
with a couple of hours to kill before my flight, i decided to try out air force one. i had a little trouble getting the directions after i got the number thru information, but the cabbie got on the line and off we went. it is located a mile or so just past the entrance to naia i at 888 ninoy aquino avenue (820.7249/820.7250). the place is a large, new building. very swank and lots of folks willing to assist. the name of the spa is actually flight 168 health spa and it is adjacent to the ktv. there are two floors to the spa. one is designated economy class and the other is business class. the only difference in the two is the quality of the rooms. the price goes up with the class, of course.
it is as luxurious as any establishment i have attended in manila. yet, the prices were reasonable and stated up front. in economy, it was 1200 pesos for the room (75 minutes) and the same for the masseuse. they gave me the special (before 7 pm) price. to choose the lady, they have the one-way mirror/window and you can choose between 30-40 girls.
the girls in first class or business were essentially no better looking, so i decided one economy.
the room was very clean. it had a shower and she assisted. pleasant personality. very cute. subpar massage, but we ended up enjoying each other fully. it was really a fun way to leave manila before my flight.

I suppose "rip-off" would be subjective - if HRC has the means, and if he finds the women to his liking, then he should have the luxury of being "ripped off".
From what I've gathered, and from my one experience with Benz, there seems to be a huge quality gap, from a Pinoy's perspective, in what they offer.
We lust for the mestizas on the high end in the 40 to 140k range, for 3hrs.
Resident pinoys may have the extra incentive in that they have seen thse celebs, starlets on the big screen.
As a non-resident, their being celebs has no value - and neither am I going to pay $2,500/3hrs for talent that I can get in the german FKKs or Prague.
They must be doing good business, and only wish them well.
On the other end, Benz' stable (5 to 10k) seem to be students, and not exactly the type that Pinoys go for, for they don't seem to be a notch above the bar girls' level, beauty-wise.

I agree that this is most likely a rip off. However, I have seen and once experienced a more expensive girl in the PI. Went to a club with a taxi about four years ago. All PI hotels are girl friendly. EDSA Shangrila is on EDSA not too far from SM MegaMall. But it is a long way away from Makati and a lot more distant than the EDSA Complex which is almost near the Manila Bay (Roxas Blvd) on the Pasay City/Paranaque/Manila side. I would say at least 5 miles away and 20 minues by cab if there is no traffic (will never happen).

Take the Nissan Premium Airport Taxi (NissanRentaCar). You can pre-book a taxi online on their website or just locate their office. If coming out of the NAIA international terminal 1, you'll need to walk past all the other coupon taxi vendors traverse the passenger pickup road (about 3 lanes) to get to the island where the Nissan Airport Taxi office is. I believe it's cheaper to pre-book, but it's something like a 75 peso difference. Chump change. I haven't had any problem with walking up to the office and getting a taxi from them. Tell them where you're going and they'll quote you a fixed price. It's as easy as that. PM me, if you need the website.

Taking a taxi from the airport is safe and reliable. Letting your hotel know your flight, and asking them to arrange an airport pick up is more expensive, however, it's even safer. I've done both, and I have never had a problem, but if I wanted to be aboslutely sure of my safety, I would take the hotel pick up.

I have been in Manila on several occasions for an overnight trip. I often stay at the Trader's Hotel on Roxas Blvd because it is part of the Shangri La chain and during renovations it has been offering excellent deals on the internet ($50/nite). And, it is convenient to the airport.

Arrived Manila Saturday 1930 – in hotel by 2030.
Attended the 3 year anniversary party of SKYLINE in Grand Boulevard Hotel (along Roxas Boulevard – not far from US Embassy) from 2200 until midnight. Day 3
After my visit to the new Entainment Center, went back to EDSA Entairment Complex, close to Heritage Hotel.

Regarding P4P for P4,000 or less, this depends on your taste. If you are caucasian and like the "exotic-dark skinned" filipinas, stick to the EDSA complex. The Hotel-Primera located on the 7th floor of the Premier Hotel Bldg in Sta Cruz, Manila (corner of Dasmarinas St) is a massage parlor. Room is P500, FS-Tip is around P1,000. Session lasts about 1 hour.
If you are asian and like the fair-skinned "mestiza" look, try the Barcelona Spa (MP) along Dasmarinas St (2nd floor) where you see the FURAMA KTV sign out front. On the other hand, like their Japanese, Singaporean, and Malaysian counterparts, the taxi drivers saw the lighter skinned, tall mestiza look as being more attractive. Anyway two and bit hours later in a bit of a cramped seat with this German guy, next to me and a Jim Carey movie showing, which had still not finished, we turn up at Swagman’s hotel in Ermita. To be honest its difficult to say there is not much in it, however because there are within five minutes walk of each other I suggest, if you have no baggage to carry around, you can look at both and see what gets your fancy on the day.

Here are some pics of the Hyatt in Malate. This hotel is brand new and is extremely girlfriendly. When I talked to the concierge, he said that it would never be a problem to bring a guest back to my room as long as i bring only 1 guest. A few times, i saw 2 ladies entering inside the lift and myself i did bring two ladies at once without any problem.
I must admit that it is not discrete to bring girls inside as the security is strict and there always seems to be a lot of staff at the reception.
Nice pool, very close to the La Cafe, the bars of Adriatico Avenue and to the Robinson's Mall, huge shower, some rooms have a very nice seaview, excellent breakfast.
I can vouch for the Westin -- I had no problems bringing back an obviously temporary girlfriend back to the room a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are nice -- I had a balcony with a view of the water. I think most rooms are the same. The outdoor pool area and adjacent gardens looked nice also. Front office staff was friendly and efficient. My room was clean, the bedding was very nice and I had lots of space. There was an in-room safe. This will be my first choice for my next trip. It easily beats the Nikko, which I found to be the same price.

On the second floor back room there is a second bar. You will notice that it is a gathering area for the Korean mongers. I tried hitting on the girls in there and found that some of them would ignore me. I was told that some of these girls will not do caucasian guys because they are afraid of very big cocks. You will notice that there are some mamasans walking around. I was told there are 20 mamasans working different shifts. The bar is open 24 hours a day and always has plenty of freelance girls available. The mamasans help the girls find a guy and receives a 100 peso commission from the girl. I grabbed a taxi and headed over to Starfleet, obviously I had my baggage because it would not make any sense leaving my bags at Swagman, and then coming back to collect them later, also note that at the airport there are no baggage storage facilities, with the traffic in Manila this is a 30 minute journey and the fact that these places are within a stone’s throw to the airport it made sense that I to brought my luggage. Last September when I came here Starfleet was not open until 1pm but this time it was around 3.20pm, the promo hour. I left my bags in the reception and went downstairs to commence my massage. I choose the two-hour option and two girls at a grand total of 3,200 Pesos (U$59/£31/€44).
I did ask for a copy of the price list so that I could post them here but the guy there became a bit cagey and very guarded when I wanted to photograph the price list saying it’s no allowed. I do not know by whom and why.
The two girls who had strange names that sadly, I did not write down so I have forgotten them, sorry, but did grab a photo, were OK, they were trying to negotiate the tip before we had began but I wanted to go for the Thai wet massage rather than the normal. I guess he must have waited at Swagman for the airport shuttle but I choose to spend my time doing something much more productive. Take my advice before you depart the Philippines make sure you get a nice relaxing massage at either Airforce One or Starfleet.

GEYes, and I also picked up girls in that room, that's where some of the pretty ones hang out, but the girls in there are looking for Korean guys and some of them will not go with western guys. You will notice that many of them will ignore you, while downstairs most of the girls make eye contact.

I just read Juniors report on the roaming with the Smart card, and I just wanted to let you guys know what I just experienced a few weeks ago on my return to Manila after 5 months.
Your smart load expires by a certain time date. When you load up in PI you will hear when your load expiration date is. That is not such a big deal, however if you have set your phone to roam 333 before you leave PI, and if you are gone an extended period of time your load will expire and when you return to PI you can not reset your phone to "roam off" because you don't have any load or time available to operate your phone.
You will have to visit a store like 7/11 to get an "electronic" load. They hook your phone up to a small electronic device like a card reader and load your phone that way. Now after you have a load again, you can then turn roam off.
I tried to load a p300 card first before I got the "electronic" load and my phone would not load it because I was still on "roam". Thats the main reason you need to get the "electronic" load. You have to get your phone operating again first before you can make the setting changes.
As long as you know that you have to follow these steps, it's not too much of a problem, but it took me hours late at night on my arrival to figure it all out......while honey ko was waiting to hear from me !
I guess the big learning here is to not stay away from PI for too long !

It had been about 6 months or so since I last visited the Entertainment Complex that is close to the Domestic Terminal in Paranaque.
The first time I was there, it was pretty much the same as it is now. There are hardly any customers, so the girls are quite enthusiastic in all the clubs.
There are now about 8-9 places open now in the complex, and when I was there a few weeks ago I stopped into all of them to check out the action. It was about 9PM on a Wednesday night and there were only 6 other guys around.
The girls all hoot and holler for you to come into their place and you do get a lot of attention when you step inside. There were a few real cuties available, and most were of the type you would find in the EDSA Complex.
