I would be remiss without mentioning the passing of a true legend of the Manila expat community, Jim Turner, the founder of the Hobbit House. Visiting his one of a kind establishment was almost a rite of passage for any foreign (especially American) visitor.

They must be in Makati because I didn't see anything above a 6 at LA Cafe, Amazonia, G Point or even the mall. Nevertheless I scored with a 6 or less at all these locations. If it's really dark in your hotel room it doesn't matter. Two of four were good performers: one from Amazonia (she must have been 35 and had floppy Cee Cups); the other from. Believe it or not -- McDonalds right across from the mall. The latter was a cosmetology student who got stood up by a friend and looked lonely so I bought her a happy meal and we ate back at Rothman's hotel nearby. Of course because she is a Filipina, the subject of no money always comes up, so I offered to give her 1000 P for a massage with a happy ending. Nice massage. The she took off her clothes and let me mount her to my surprise. This 24 year old had no tits but a better than average face and smile; and was nice send-off because I had to get ready to go to the airport. Cheers, mates. See you in the Santo Domingo thread because that is my next series of salacious sexcapades (and so the thread nazis are bewildered).

Arrived Manila and as mentioned check in KIMBERLY hotel in Pedro Gil. They give me an upgrade room. Went to Amazonia, G-spot, looks only handful of girls and customers so move to LA cafe, full of customers and girls is multiple times of that of G spot and Amazonia.

Really don't see any girls in LA cafe that is above 6! Almost 11:00 pm still can not seen some one that reached my criteria, so try to lower it and took a skinny girl I forget her name at php 2500 for LT. Some photos will be posted in Photo Gallery.

At Ribinson mall, I notice at late night, several freelancer gathered around There but did not dare to check it out.

Malate is not a place to find hotties. The best you will do is run thru LAC (due to large number of girls) late-night. There are prettier gals there, but they are few, and far between. Most of the girls in all of those places have grown older / fuglier over the years. To find prettier girls in LAC, you should consider getting off the stool and walking around the entire place (including upstairs).

If you want hot, consider Makati bars (not the street FL, the Burgos FL are like the LAC / Amazonia girls: older / fuglier), or larger AC bars (Atlantis), where you will pay more. Alternately, spend time developing hotties in the province and have them bus into Manila (or nearby province) to spend time with you.

Fair enough but for the record I have pulled 7's and even an 8 out of there previously. Cute with huge tits. Sometimes you just get lucky, WC. Haven't been to Burgos for awhile; and never been to EDSA but it's on the to do list. Still its nice to get a good bang for your buck at the lower end venues, especially in AC and Subic.

On my last trip to the Philippines, I found the number of people trying to scam me at every opportunity really irritating. It got to me. If I wasn't being mugged by trike drivers in AC, the hotel receptionist was trying to charge me for consumables I didn't consume, the bar girl was fleeing at 2. 00 am to "buy milk powder for her baby", the handicraft ladies in PG were trying to charge me 350 PHP for a little woven bracelet which took them five minutes to make (LOL) or the street urchins were trying to pinch the change straight out of my pockets. It's all pretty minor stuff, but it just wore me out. I haven't come across the sleight-of-hand money steeling trick at the money change office yet. May be they should learn this trick from their Balinese friends. I take my hat off to the foreigners who have succeeded in living in the Philippines.

Here's an example of a low level scam on inter-city bus routes. A pretty young girl comes on board and starts handing out these little notices. Then she starts selling local delicacies. I'm sure that the little sympathy note results in more sales. Her basket was empty after she walked up and down the bus aisle. If I just saw this in isolation, the story might have been half believable. Then I saw a young guy in Malate with the same note (pretending to be a poor college student) walking around selling pens.

Have experienced this from time to time. How is this a scam? They are selling a small item, usually p50 or 100. Have seen the same note in both the province and Manila. The note is a standard fund-raising note, mass-produced to be used in any kind of sale.

Lies I've encountered but no worries I lie myself. Your post makes me wonder where you operate and how you lead your Phil stays in general. Five minutes later, with the jeepney enroute, he comes around again and collects the envelopes and jumps off. Most didn't hand it back so he had to pick it up off their laps. I've no idea what the envelope said, not because of the language. Which might even have been English. But to avoid showing any interest.

The scammer must knowingly lie about the product, or its price, or must lie about his / her intended use of the money received. You are describing an advertising tactic. Its not a scam, but it feels sleazy. And you're right, these kinds of things never seem to stop in phils.

Given that Manila and AC are scam central, I'm surprised this money exchange trick is not prevalent. On the other hand (no pun intended), our Indonesian friends are masters at it.

A recent Anthony Bourdain episode on CNN featured Tony eating with Barack Obama in a small little eatery in Hanoi. The Vietnamese sitting around them seemed totally unaware what was going down--unless they'd been coached by cameramen (or Secret Service agents) to do so. Bourdain observed that many Americans are sheltered from the rest of the world, and that most Americans have never even had a passport.

But if you're serious about avoiding scams by sticking to Makati and the Fairmont, you should consider writing a book about it. Here's a title for you: "The Accidental Tourist. ".

Their "music" lasts maybe two or three minutes--until the jeepney has moved down the road some distance. Then they move up and down the middle aisle of the jeepney asking for tips until the driver yells at them to get off.

That includes taking buses, trikes, buying shit from street vendors etc. That's part of the allure. It's not about trying to save money. I do likewise, but for me it is sometimes about saving money. One of the things I love about average Filipinos is that, much of the time, they don't take things too seriously. They just love karaoke and want to draw you into it. Many of them can't carry a tune in a paper bag, but they can sing loud enough at the right places in the song to score high points. Most also have a great sense of humor, and they're only too happy to include you in the insults--once they learn you don't take it personally. And many of the common folks, even women, love raunchy humor.

Once I was shopping in some of the craft stalls in the Ali Mall (in Cubao, behind Gateway Mall and SM) a little before Christmas. I was looking at hand-carved crafts to take home as gifts for friends and colleagues. One stall had a bunch of hand-carved figures with short chains to use as keychains. Most were clearly shaped to look like a phallus, but only about an inch in diameter and less than four inches long. I remarked to the woman running the stall, perhaps 40 ish and sort of a MILF, "they seem kind of small. " There were almost no other customers around, and so women in several nearby stalls picked up on the conversation and watched what was happening. With a straight face the woman looked right at me and said, "their Filipino-sized. " The other women just watched me with no expression on their faces, but once I smiled they all broke out laughing. Not too many places you could have that experience in the states or in Europe.

I once remarked about the Filipino sense of humor to a well-placed guy I met at UP. I suggested that their humor helped Filipinos cope with chronically depressing and sometimes tragic situations. He suggested that humor that helped them cope might also be an unfortunate outlet for feelings that might better be directed toward changing the system.

I saw that scene of Bourdain and Obama in the hole-in-the-wall restaurant, and it certainly looked as though the other patrons didn't know or recognize them. But I also saw a photo of the mob scene outside, waiting to get a glimpse of the American president.

It's not about trying to save money.Same here. I know very little Tagalog, much to the annoyance of SWMBO, but occasionally you hear things said about you. I was in Divisoria once and some woman called out gwapo to me so I turned around, just to make sure they were talking about me, and replied something appropriate in Tagalog. She went bright red while all the women around her roared with laughter. Didn't need to but went back and bought a T-shirt to show all was good.

I won't eat off street carts but have no problem with the small portions of mystery meat from mall food courts, though still don't understand why "vegetable" side dishes often contain shrimp. Still make Hershey's every now and again.

One day I'll get robbed or scammed. That's life. Hopefully minor so chalk it up to experience and move on.

Visited LA Cafe last Thursday. I was surprised by the quality of girls. Way better than my last visits. I have visited un-frequently over the past 5-6 years. Girls move around a lot and it can be difficult to decide if you should engage in small talk or not. They are quick to understand if you are not interested, so no problem. Ended up with a cute girl from Davao, 25 years old. She first wanted to go with her friend but I rejected. Turned out to be very horny in bed and she had a killer body. Her personality was a bit "over the top" for my taste but I can not complain her services. Damage: 2500 peso. She stayed until I had to check out at 10 AM the next day.

Nice EVA air flight. Recommend this airline to anybody. Excellent service. Had arranged a DIA girl to meet me at airport but in spite of her promises failed to show up. Calls to her phone went unanswered. Maybe she found somebody else. Anyway taxi ride to Bayview Park. Not much of traffic this time. Started trolling DIA again hoping to catch one. Got three. One said she is busy but tomorrow she can come. Next one was interested but could not get permission from her mother. Third one was unsure till I convinced her to come. Problem was she lives outside Manila and will take her 2-3 hours to get here. No problem for me. Went out to eat and came back to the room and waited. No demands for money, no demands and nothing. Did not even had to go down and get her. I had told reception that my girlfriend will be coming and I had booked the room for two. This girl comes in at about 11 pm. Nice looking girl. Very pleasant and friendly. First foreigner she said. Totally GFE. Great sex. Nice big boobs.

My plan is going to Angeles today and hopefully have a good time with another DIA hook up and off to Cebu and back to Manila.

2500 pesos for all night is very good value.

A new college girl in LA cafe was asking her 'friends' how much to charge for all night. I offered her 1500 pesos with tips and she quickly accepted. She stayed with me a couple days, taking me sight seeing all over Manila. She was horny and could not have enough sex. All actions were bare back. She was like a GF. Will contact her again next trip.

I was paying 3000 to 4000 all night for girls from local casas, some very beautiful young girls.

I just got back recently for my first trip to Manila and I am leaving again in a week for my second trip. This forum was very helpful to say the least. I got a flat on Air be&be that was a real bargain but it was in Pasig and not real close to much except where I was working. The security was also a pain in the ass as I was suppose to register all visitors. I got around that by just giving the front desk guy 1000 peso when ever a woman was coming up. Because of my hectic schedule I opted to use PinaLove. It was a little work but paid off pretty well.

1. First woman was a 35 year old mother who worked in the area but lived further south. She stopped by several nights for a couple of hours each time. She was certainly looking for a husband but was cool and only cost me a few beers. She had a nice body and was really cute. She loved it doggie and was very submissive which I loved.

2. 2nd woman was 22 and a waitress and a local restaurant. She was real skinny with large B cups and had the tightest pussy I have ever encountered. In fact the first few times with her I did not last long, She seemed not to be bothered by that and we spent 2 different Saturdays and a night together just having sex and hanging out.

3. The last woman was a 25 year old professional I met a local joint when I was having dinner. She sat near me and we talked for an hour got drunk and went back to my flat. She was not there long but she cost me about 2000 pesos and dinner. But the anal and ATM was fun and she seem to have a good time as well.

All in all I was happy. However I have a few questions.

I am staying near Mall of Asia and was wondering if that was a good place to meet local girls or is the casino there better? Any cheap hotels in that area I can take them to as I want to avoid my co workers. Would I be better off going to Makti?

MOA is near the well-known EDSA Entertainment plaza. Ask the mama or the girl about hotels. I've stayed across the street at Copacabana, but it's probably not what you want.

Often crowded, not sure hanging around malls is the best use of your punting time unless you're young & gwapo in which case just stsnd still, they will come to you. Nearby to MOA is several tourist attractions and of course the infamous EDSA complex of P4 P bars. Victoria's Secret right across the road from EDSA is the definitive love hotel. Hello value shoppers,

While eating a $10 burger (really!) on Burgos Street and perusing Craigslist, I came across a 22 year-old student offering a sensual massage:

"I offer sensual body massage for 700 - 2 hrs -flat rate no tip".

Having gone overboard with the burger, I was in an economizing frame of mind, so messaged said masseuse. Two days later, she shows up at my Makati hotel and gives me one of the most relaxing massages I've had in yonks. She has great hands and uses them well. Then, onto the happy ending: she was very clear that it included "No sex" but was happy to remove her top while she delivered the coup de grace.

I highly recommend this girl's service. She had a great attitude, was pleasant company, and if you're in the mood for a simple massage, with only a hand-job ending, she's your ticket. Her ad was flagged almost instantly and removed from CL but she consented to my providing her phone number to any of you who would like it.

I am staying near Mall of Asia and was wondering if that was a good place to meet local girls or is the casino there better? Any cheap hotels in that area I can take them to as I want to avoid my co workers. Would I be better off going to Makti?X-Man is right in suggesting Victoria Court located in the back streets behind Heritage Hotel. Rooms available by the hour. I have used and can recommend this hotel. I've used it for late night airport arrivals and early morning departures.

There are also other hotels in and around that area that offer low cost rooms.

There is also a SOGO.

Flight from Air Asia from Cebu to Manila right on time. Lands at Domestic Airport. This is uncongested and no lines for taxi. Taxi to pavilion casino hotel. Nice room although dated, Not as nice as Mandarin in Cebu. Called my contact from DIA and she came right away. Nice friendly girl. Had sex, took her for dinner and back to room, more sex, more sex in the morning and breakfast. Nice spread in breakfast, so mamy choices.

Girl left at 10 am with a nice donation and gifts.

Another one promised to show up at 2 pm. Went to casino downstairs and made some money. Nice comfortable weather outside.

I had my first bad incident here in Manila. I have been talking to a woman on FC for several weeks. We finally met yesterday and everything seemed to be going as planned. She is very attractive, thin with big boobs and seems to enjoy just hanging around with me. We went to dinner and then to IMAX where she proceeded to give me head during the movie. We went back to my place and spent several hours together and that was all really nice and hot. I made the mistake of trusting her too much and drinking far too much.

I work up about 2 hours ago and she was gone. So was all of the money from my wallet (most was in hotel safe along with my CC and passport) laptop and IPAD and some miscellaneous shit. I keep no personal stuff on either device because I do travel so much and if something gets stolen I have no worries. Both devices are password protected so they would be hard to crack and could just wind up being doorstops. I tried to all her cell phone and it was disconnected and her online FC profile was gone.

I am going to chalk this one up to my own stupidity because I have the feeling that the local police will be of little to no help. I will never see her or my stuff again. My IPAD has not been turned on but when it does it will send me location, That will not help much but maybe I will get lucky. I am staying at a very hotel and I am sure security could give me footage of her coming and going but again I think that will be a waste of time. I really do not want to broadcast my DOINGS in Manila while I am here.

I have stayed away from using the local working girls and was only going to see women from FC. I think I will reconsider that today. I will no longer bring anyone back to my room and will instead will the short stay hotels. Be careful all.

I think you you have not followed the many advices people give you in this forum.

1. Always lock up your wallet, I pad, I phone, passport in the safe deposit box.

2. Walk around with local money only plus maybe a $100 dollar bill in case you need more money.

3. Never trust anybody. Even if you have been with a girl repeatedly.

4. Girls take every advantage if you are careless. They know police will not chase anybody unless you are bodily harmed.

These applies to every country even in my home country USA. Of course laws are strict there.

Only one time I was robbed of 3000 pesos by a nurse. Me and her spend at least a week together whenever I come here. She had a Australian boyfriend who supported her. Her job is hit and miss.

She never took any money from my pockets before. One day we went to the casino and I won 8000 pesos. I made her cash the chips. So she knew it is winning money and I would not miss it. I did give her money next day on leaving and did not count my money. I knew previous day how much pesos I have before gambling. I always count the money before gambling so that I know how much money I won or lost. All my other valuables are locked in the safe. Later when I went to I am missing 3000 pesos. So when I came back from Cebu I did not call her although our plan was to stay together. I had another girl stay with me. When she called I told her I do not appreciate her stealing money. She denied it but later admitted that she needed money for something. From that time on trust was lost and I promised myself never to loose money. So I got into the habit of locking even local money in the safe when we go to bed.

After the pleasant girl left started texting the girl I chatted on skype. She was supposed to come by 2 pm. Went to casino and made some money. Came back to the room and by now it is 3 pm. Texted her to see if she is on her way. She said she is doing laundry and this is the only day she is off. Can she come at 7 pm and stay till 9 pm. I said no.

Back to DIA. My profile is closed. What the heck? Must be because of my derogatory messages to many ladyboys who pretended to be real girls. Look at the irony. They are the ones who should be locked out for posing.

No problem. Opened another account and a new SIM card.

Many messages because this time I put 18-30 desired age. Most messages are 25 and up. Talked to filippinabeauty01.

Got the phone number. Some negotiations. Agreed on 3000 for whole night. She said not interested in dinner and breakfast because she is shy to be seen with a foreigner. Some doubts started in my brain. I told her I will meet her downstairs and escort her to my room. She insisted on coming straight to the room because she was " SHY" By now my brain is wide awake. I remember what happened in Cebu. This is definitely a ladyboy and hoping once he gets access to the room may hope I like him or else can threaten saying I did something. Told her I want her checked out by me and the hotel security before going to the room. She woulspd not agree. Dropped her like a hot cake.

Took a nice nap. Went to LA cafe and no girl appealed to me. One beer and left. Decided to give old body rest.

Today waiting for my 18 year old (19 now) sweetheart who works hard to join me later. I have brought her some gifts I want to unload.

So after my bad experience I was almost tempted to just spend my time here when I was not working, jerking off. At least my right hand will not steal from me. I gave that option up since I have caught my right hand cheating on me before. I met another woman from FC last night. She was part Chinese and something else and was very tall at 5'10'. She had great tits and was thin which is the way I like them. She told me there would no sex but she would love to meet me for dinner. So of course after a nice dinner and several drinks, no I did not get drunk, I took her back to my monger hotel room where we proceeded to do the nasty. When I say nasty I mean she was rimming me and taking shots of my manly goodness to her face and loving it. She left this morning and it only cost me about 3000 pesos, which is what we spent an dinner and drinks.

I must say I am getting many hits off of FC and will be setting up more dates after today. I am here for 3 weeks so I plan on getting laid every other day.

I have not yet been to LA Cafe and other monger havens but will try to make it over there early next week.

Hi friends,

I will be in Manila on 24th December. I have few girls in hand via PinaLove. I had a good success via La Cafe in my last two visits. Although La Cafe will be open on 24th Dec, will there be many girls? As Ph being Christian country, many girls will stay home and any advise is welcome.

He hooked it up to a PC and told me to come back in 30 minutes. Also that apps and memory would be deleted. He didn't need my pass code. 30 minutes later and cost of P900 my iPad was ready to go.

True to her word my 19 year old showed up after work. Excellent sex 4 times. Her virginal pussy is so tight. Besides she is a sweetheart in behavior and showing affection. Only thing is does not like public being together. I can understand that. She is a regular girl not used to being with everybody. She was introduced to me by another girl and this one likes me a lot. She said last time she had sex is 5 months ago with me. She said as long as I come twice a year she is happy with. She is waiting for a factory job in Taiwan. I told her I will come there if she is working here. Since she works lots of overtime hours I was not sure if she can meet me. So I had a 26 year old from Samoa lock who looked good in her profile pic to be with me. I had to break her heart by giving some lame excuse.

So long till next time in Philippines.

As a first time visitor, I thought I would share some of my impressions of Manila. I came here directly from the USA, the beginning of a 10 week trip thru SEA. I choose this city first, because I thought not a lot of sightseeing type stuff to do, and was; t sure how my body would feel w / the time change, so OK to just lay around relax for few days and not feel like I was wasting time.

I stayed at the City Garden Grand hotel, which is in Makati, adjacent to P. Burgos st. The hotel itself was fine, occasionally they would ask to register my guest, sometimes we would just walk in as a couple. As far as location, knowing now what I know, I would have chosen a hotel much closer to greenbelt mall area. The reason being that while I found the Burgos scene interesting, I much preferred to be in Greenbelt area, as I spent much more time there.

My first night I arrive at midnight flight and don't go out until 1:30 AM. Just wander around. Many ladyboys. Enjoy a few drinks at one of the bars, enjoy the company of a lovely girl, but don't want to pay that barfine / and her fee as I'm very tired. So finally pick up a very tiny street girl and call it a night. Eventually have to kick her out at 9 in morning.

The next day I wander around little, nap some more, and eventually head out for dinner, figure I would go to Greenbelt mall look around and find place. So I eventually get myself a table, enjoy dine er and chat with a few girls. To eat. Now when I first researched Manila, in non-mongering way, they keep saying how going to the mall is a big thing, in the states I hate malls. But the city is so chaotic, crowded, polluted and hot that the malls were actually welcome relief.

I wander about and stumble upon Havana Cafe, and say, yes, I remember reading about this place. I watch for a bit from afar and realize that yes, there are definitely some working girls there. More to come.

So I eventually meet someone who I had great chemistry with and after several drinks away we go. We would meet up again on another evening and it was even better. I will leave out the gory details, but I will say that all the girls I met were very pleasant, allowed multiple times, activities were very horny / good actresses. All would stay for as long as you want in Am, and had to be asked to leave. I had several girls from Havana cafe, and, for me, it was my favorite place because of the interaction. But that is just me.

I would go to Burgos st in the afternoon. I wound up at "twisters" I believe is the name, very interesting. Have 3-5 mostly naked girls all taking turns kissing you, you kissing there breasts, all while getting a hand job. And yes, you could finish. Interesting memories. I did go once to Cowboys at night, it was right after I had a nice dinner, I was very tired and had no intention of taking anyone, but wanted to see the place for myself. Wound up talking / drinking with a stunning girl. She was wearing what I called a receptionist dress, not the dancer or waitress attire. I assumed she was there just for the drinking / fondling. But she said no, she could and wanted to go to hotel. Not sure if it was true or attempt to make me stay drink, but I was exhausted and left after 2 beers.

So I went on the social website Badoo a few weeks prior to my trip, wound up talking w / lots of girls, some obviously working, some looking for real relationships. Many potential opportunities, but also a bit of work. Eventually I only met up with one, a housekeeper / child care provider who could only meet on day Sunday. I agree and we meet at 10:00 AM, Wanted to sight-see etc, she was game, I did realize that she was looking for Relationship" and was honest about only being here short time. We see a bunch of stuff, have a great day and eventually some fun. I really enjoyed her but how much can you really believe from any working / or non-working g girl?

Anyways, these women are incredibly beautiful, friendly and passionate. They were great. The city itself is just too crowded, chaotic and polluted.

Right now I am in Palawan island. Incredibly beautiful if you are interested in non mongering activities. I will go to Angeles city in a few days and see what that is all about. Thanks for all the info prior to my trip.

It seems that you got good service from this small repair shop and it turned out OK for you as far as you know.

However, there is a clear understanding among all my friends that whenever you leave anything with these small repair shops you should stay there and watch and wait for him to complete the work, especially if you have a genuine iPad bought from a reputable manufacturer.

It is very easy for these guys to switch out your "genuine and valid" parts for some cheap imported part and then they can up-sell the genuine article to someone else.

I know of this happening.

30 minutes is not long for you to wait for him to complete the job, but it's plenty of time for him to do the switch and you will not know until the second-rate part fails, usually after you have returned home.

I find these small operators excellent and very knowledgeable about their work as they are all a bit "nerdy".

I have had great repair work done by them, but I always stay there and watch them like a hawk and ask them to explain to me what they are doing. I know it seems sad to have to presume everyone is a "crook" but these guys are very enterprising and will do anything to make a small profit, especially if they think you are just a tourist and passing through.

Can't speak personally of this specific scam ever happening to me, as I do most of my own tech work, but my LT girl here absolutely refuses to leave any of her gadgets (tablet, cellphone etc) at a repair place for pick-up. At first I was a bit annoyed by this, but apparently it is the common practice of repair people here to substitute any possible part for a lesser part before returning the item as "fixed. " Same girl gave me a story of how the dude that was fixing her washing machine regaled her with his adventures in accumulating lost jewelry from clogged washing machine filters. In explanation of why she fired him. From a western perspective, it seems bizarrely improbable; but the idea of building a reputation is, as far I have observed, almost totally absent here. Any minor short-term opportunity usually trumps valid business practices / common sense / repeat business. I heartily second all of RK's advice for exactly the reasons he describes.

In an off-topic anecdotal semi-relevant example: I stopped by a local sari-sari the other day on the way home to a grab a beer, and was charged 9 p for a bottle deposit. The standard bottle deposit here is 2 p. Do I care about 7 p? No. The interesting facet is simply that the vendor would rather overcharge me for a ridiculously small gain, once, than have my repeat business. And I buy a lot of beer. The assumption that you are a tourist is a factor, but it's also reflective of a total lack of future thinking, relationship building, and what would be considered a normal amount of simple personal honesty; vs. "give me money po. ".

In contrast, the one vendor I buy basically all of my excessive amount of beer from, now, is the one guy in the neighborhood who would sell it to me during election week, when alcohol sales were apparently banned. He has my loyalty, because fuck those twits that didn't want to make a sale to a frequent customer because of an ostensible and unenforced temporary prohibition. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he is the most successful retailer in the neighborhood. Not because he is willing to sell beer under a ban, but because he has enough command of logic that "I promise not to vote," loyalty to a long-term customer, and complete a lack of relevant law enforcement, appealed to him logically. Incidentally, I don't believe he was selling any alcohol to Filipinos during that period, but he was able to comprehend that a farcical and meaningless ordinance might be better ignored in some circumstances. Also perhaps unsurprisingly, he has lived abroada common trait among those of this country who demonstrate actual reasoning skills.

Which would bring me to the amazing fear that almost all Filipinos have of any kind of authority, no matter how retarded; and my missing Thailand (long live the King) where the laws may be more puritanical, but no one in the general populace gives a flying fuck about them. Love that place. I digress.

Anyway, wandered vastly off topic, but for sure: Do not leave your electronics at a repair shop unattended, nor yet allow home appliance repairs without watching them in close surveillance mode. I know it sounds misanthropic and ant****ially untrusting, but that's the way it is, and no one will bat an eye at your "paranoia," because petty theft is recognized as a de facto parameter here. In other words, a level of service-person scrutiny, that would be considered insulting in western cultures, is accepted as normal, so don't be afraid to protect yourself as no one will resent it, it's not only expected but if you don't you're potentially defining yourself as a soft target. Irritating lessons learned.

Also, keep your hands on your valuables, particularly in crowds.

'nuff rant. Peace out, brothers.

Both devices are password protected so they would be hard to crack and could just wind up being doorstops. I tried to all her cell phone and it was disconnected and her online FC profile was gone..Sorry to hear about what happened to you but thank you for sharing, this really helps newbies like me to learn from others experience. Also since I will be stepping into Manila very soon this helps. As a general rule and not specific to one country you need to "lock" or guard your stuff from these women, I have heard about these incidents taking place in Thailand too, so this is not specific to Phil only. Again I am not saying all of them are thieves but getting your guard down can have consequences.

Have a happy and a safe mongering!

They will go for the short term gain of a few pesos over the opportunity to get repeat business or a bigger long term profits. The attempts to squeeze a few more pesos out of the foreigner is ridiculous but it gets really annoying when it happens repeatedly throughout the day. Sometimes the attempts to scam a few more pesos can make one wonder if the scammer is really a scammer or just an idiot. A case in point, a couple of days ago, I asked a taxi driver to stop for a few minutes as I purchased something on the side of the road. I told him to keep the meter running as this was only a brief stop along the way. We arrive at the final destination and I hand him the amount on the meter. He demands an additional 40 p claiming that the stop was an additional flag fall. I asked him if he had stopped the meter. He pretended not to understand. I turned to my girlfriend and asked if the driver had stopped the meter. She said, "No!" I asked the driver if he kept the meter running as instructed. He said, "Yes. " Then I explained to him that as long as the meter was running that he was being paid for his time and he would not be getting paid for another flag fall but it was a nice try.

This is a very accurate description of Flip behavior. They are short timers. They will go for the short term gain of a few pesos over the opportunity to get repeat business or a bigger long term profits. If someone nicks your Ipad / Iphone (a girl nicked my Ipad some time back) I think there is a good chance no one can get to your password protected areas. I've been told techs can delete whatever is set up on the iPad / iPhone though and the thug, with a little help, can of course use your stolen item as his / her own or resell it. In my case, when the girl ran off with my iPad (from a restaurant, me at the toilet), she would call me later and ask for my password, hehe. It seems some don't have rational thoughts and I had to break her the bad news that I would never ever give her the passwords.

After a little back and forth "fighting" we agreed I pick up the iPad the very next day at a pawnshop in Aufura (I think) wing of the Robinson Malate mall. I was of course about to just give it a rest and buy a new one (I would most likely get a new one through my travel insurance after I got back home anyway) but since the thug told me I could get my Ipad back for 5 k php and the fact I needed my iPad as it is an important mongering device, I just agreed to come pick it up. I agreed to arrive without alerting any police authority (corrupted police I try stay away from). When arriving the next day at Robinson I met the thug lady. My eyes were really black from anger so no time for friendly banter. While at the pawnshop a new deal was made and the shop wanted 5 k and the girl 5 k as well. Then I had enough so I just walked away, blaming the world, Phils, pope, politicians and myself. I did decide to just go buy myself a new pad. After a few minutes the girl came running up behind me with my iPad and I got it back just sticking 3 k into her hand while screaming at the devil her. I know it is not a sane thing to do in a foreign country where "saving face is a big deal" but I just snapped. I am trained to not hit any from the female sorts but I was close. Despite all this she called me later and asked me if she could come my hotel.

I will be getting to Manila on a late flight next month, does the airport have a money changer or ATM's available so I don't need to chance a late night visit? I will be at city garden and would feel safer picking up Xoom to myself during the day.

Thanks fellas.

See recent FBi versus Apple. If the perpetrator wants the device as opposed to the data, wiping it is trivial. Frankly if someone stole any gadget of mine, the information on it is a thousand times more valuable to me than the physical product, but experiences may vary. In any event, if one's tablet / phone / laptop gets lifted, security measures to the extent and quality that they exist, can protect private information; they will not make the hardware unusable to the thief.

Bill Buxton.Plenty of ATMs at the airport. I don't know how late money changers are open since I never use them. Just be sure to contact your bank to provide a travel notification (ATM and Credit) so they don't lock you out. The ATMs will "eat" your card on the third or fourth attempt and then you are SOL.

Thank you much I think terminal 2 is where I come in but will find one. Thanks again! My recollection is that only Philippines Air Lines and Air Philippines (same company) fly into Terminal 2. If you are flying on any other international carrier, you will arrive either at Terminal 1 or 3. WC has described the location of one at Terminal One, although I arrived in there in August after 11 pm and found them closed; another time in early July about 10 pm they were still open. Terminal 3 has several to choose from, just past the plexiglass barrier that separates visitors from arriving passengers, and they seem to be open later.

You can no longer be definitive about certain airlines using specific terminals.

It is essential that you carefully read your ticket to be clear about where you are landing and, if you are connecting to another destination, to know which terminal it is. Remember that it can be very time-consuming getting between terminals notwithstanding that there are shuttle buses. They also get stuck in traffic. They are not like the shuttles in, for example, Sydney that travel within the airport boundary and so escape traffic congestion.

There is no longer any Air Philippines. It's PAL only now, and the international flights land in Terminal 2 (Centennial terminal). However, there are many domestic PAL flights and PAL Express that use either Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.

I was merely making a point for less-informed travellers that one must be careful to ensure that the correct terminal for departure in Manila is known when going to the airport.

Your basic point is correct. If a guy is travelling on a PAL international flight then he is landing at Terminal 2.

I have done that (once only) many years ago with what is now called Terminal 4.

I have used the 'shuttle' once and never again! It was like a cross between a cattle market and a riot, ending up with my suitcase on my head!

I go to the taxi rank and tell them the correct Terminal and offer to pay the rate to Makati (440 pesos). So it is $9 - wow a lot some may say (sometimes I pay 10 times more for a drive that is twice the distance in other parts of world so I see this $9 as cheap). The driver may ***** but when he realizes he is paid to Makati and has the chance of another passenger soon after the driver normally agrees.

Looking at possible connecting flights in Manila with Thai Air and United. Transit time is a few hours. Can anyone tell me the procedures at the airport if I am just changing flights in Manila? Do I have to go through additional security checks, go through customs or immigration and check in again? After you get off the plane and walk into the terminal, just ask ground personnel where the transit gate is? Or the transit desk is, if you need a new boarding pass?

At the terminal 1 transit gate, you will be required to go thru a security check to gain access to the departure level. Hope this helps.

See RK's note about checking flight reservations carefully and WR's discussion about traveling between terminals. Manila NAIA does not have light rail connecting the terminals; there are shuttle buses, but as WR reports, they are neither reliable nor fast. Fortunately, at Terminal 1, where you presumably arrive, there are not usually long queues for yellow cabs. But you will have to process through security again in the departure terminal. Do not make plans for short connecting times between arrival and departure flights. It's more fun in the Philippines.

They sure like to leave enough of them in the bathroom, can't be by accident! In the past some leave panties hidden under a pillow etc. So a thorough DNA using housekeeping is what I do. In the past I have had one leave a napkin in the bathroom rubbish bin, another hairs on the soap that were long and black, yet another a lipstick kiss mark on 2 pillows (and then turned the pillows over).

One friend on the board came back to find the bedroom and bathroom trashed because his 'love of his life' found a text message from me on his phone (silly wombat forgot to password protect) and she reasoned that if he was getting messages from me to come visit that something was not OK. Who knows how she came to that conclusion!

It could be Mistakes or over looking of anything in the room. Even whatever work we do for the cleaning. We are not going to clean the room as the room service peoples doing every day. Even m innocent and ignorant (was done by previous user of the room) about this issue because of m also made the just entry in my newly booked room with the girl. Since if I have to go through with a long list of girls in one trip so condo or two bedrooms apartment in longer basis never found feasible for me. An additional travel cost and taxi hassle to bear but in end it is safe and comfortable in all aspects.

Is it necessary to make sure there are no evidences left of the previous girl you scored? I my book no. As always, to each his own, however I would say that 80% of the booties I knock are not P4 P and I do indeed usually need to spin them a wicked tale that invariably involves the phrase "I'm a one woman guy". Why do I need to do this? Because they wouldn't even consider coming to my condo otherwise.

I lie, I cheat, I get laid, but I always, always clean the crime scene.

Even for the P4 P girls, I don't like to rub their faces in it that there have been other girls in my condo. I know they're professionals offering a service, but they're girls too and it doesn't cost me anything to be considerate in this regard.

For the BMs claiming change of hotels and / or rooms, well that would be a great idea, it is a safe way, but when I have lets say 2 to 4 girlie encounters a day life becomes stressful. In some cases I have stayed at 2 hotels (different areas of Manila) but that's had some logistic colors painted on them. In my case I just need to step up my evidence removal skills and it shouldn't take more than an extra 3 minutes to do so.

Even though ALL my girls are P4 P, I tend to repeat often with the sweet ones I like and with only a little bit of extra effort I can maintain the GFE fiction indefinitely (for years). The girls know its a fantasy, I know its a fantasy, but pretend is a lot of fun for everyone concerned. Others may disagree and prefer not to play games. That's cool. Whatever rocks you. But when the pretend GF suggests her hot little sister, cousin, or BFF for a threesome, the party really begins and you have 2 make believe GF's. Of course you must not show favoritism for the new girl and try to obey the pecking order which is not always easy. LOL. Life is good.

It is almost impossible to clean up the room about the signs of previously used girl, hair on the bed or used comb or anything in wash room may remain. It could be Mistakes or over looking of anything in the room. Even whatever work we do for the cleaning. We are not going to clean the room as the room service peoples doing every day. So it is just simple I always change the room. I can remember once even I changed the room but an incident happened because my girl found a used condom in the cr. Even m innocent and ignorant (was done by previous user of the room) about this issue because of m also made the just entry in my newly booked room with the girl. But I had to face the anger of my girl.

Since if I have to go through with a long list of girls in one trip so condo or two bedrooms apartment in longer basis never found feasible for me. I just change the hotel in convenient location for next girl. It is easy hassle free to book online. An additional travel cost and taxi hassle to bear but in end it is safe and comfortable in all aspects.Untrue in my experience, but it takes work. It requires a good attention to detail, practice, and looking at things from a woman's perspective, such as seated on a toilet. When you first start out you'll miss things. For example you forget the towel that has lipstick stains hanging on the back of the bathroom door because when you were sanitising the bathroom the door was open the entire time.

I've become good enough that after my main girl leaves for work in the morning I take a few photos of the bathroom floor, the bin, etc with my camera, and then bag the hair, toilet paper, her tooth brush, etc. I do not toss. I meet one or two girls during the day, and I clean up after each. After the last leaves I grab the bag and return all the main girl's items and waste to where they were in the morning - this is where the photos prove handy. She returns and it looks pretty much like it did 10 hours earlier.

The photos are also handy in you have 3-4 regular girls who leave things at your place, like clothing, makeup, toothbrush, etc. She leaves, your next meeting with her is later that night or in a few days, so you photo all her gear, bag it, and store away. When she returns 3 days later all her stuff is back where she left it.

I disagree with you somewhat. I'm upfront with many but not all girls. Basically I tell them I keep it discreet. My motivation for sanitisation is some girls get in sour mood when then they see another woman's hair, etc. Yes, logically it makes no sense because they know the deal, but women let their emotions take hold.

Even for the P4 P girls, I don't like to rub their faces in it that there have been other girls in my condo. I know they're professionals offering a service, but they're girls too and it doesn't cost me anything to be considerate in this regard.
Exactly my thoughts. And if you make the process a routine then it becomes second nature and nothing gets out of hand.

As a newbie to Makati, I have to say, the thing that stands out the most is the price shock. I know this does not apply to members here, that don't have to worry about the costs, but for me it was a real head shaker. I felt that to pay 3900 pesos to the bar and anything from 3500 to 4000 for the girl, is reaching first world costs. My first day, I was with a regular I brought from AC (a mistake), and went barhopping with her. She was shocked as well. Beer was twice what it cost in Subic or AC. I send her off back home, as she was wasting my time and money, and decided to check out the bars on my own during my second day of stay. I pretty well decided, I was not going to pay the bars and might end up going home on my own. I told the girls I met in the bars, I was not going to barfine them, just enjoy their company and buy them a drink. I started to think that maybe if I can meet them after work, I can bypass the bar cost, and just pay the girl. In one bar I convinced an 18 year old with a body to die for. She agree to meet after work which would be like 6 am. I did not think I could stay up that long, so I moved on, and ended up in a place called Bourbon St?, where I got a second phone number, and told this girl I was going to call her before she starts work at 7 pm (I think). She was a cute little spinner. She texted me at 5:30 am, just wanting to crash in my hotel, but I was not in the mood (drama with my ex-regular) nor had the energy. In the afternoon, I tried to contact the 18 year old, but no luck. The spinner answered, and said she would come over. I asked her to bring some food over as well. This girl turned into a horny little vixen. I banged her three times in four hours. She would not let my Johnson leave her Jade garden. Did cowgirl in 360 degrees. Quite remarkable. She was only 39 kg and 4 foot 10". Very sweet, and affectionate. Gave her 3000 pesos, as I felt generous, and knew I was not going to go out my last day before leaving the country. Just got a text from her today. She also sent me topless photos of herself, when she could not sleep one night.

If I return to Manila, I would still not pay the bar for the girls. Definitely not a good value. Its good for people with business accounts, rich Saudis, and people with too much money on their hands. One thing I have to admit is that I did not see any fugues in the bars. But still the money is crazy.

Generally I do ask the housekeeping to change the sheets and towels before the next one comes. Has anybody tried asking for a dozen towels up front when checking in? Would save me a lot of trouble.

Just broke up with GF in Cebu of all places where I had no preparations and was forced to meet via Filipino Cupid and Ayala mall. Passing grade on the results: One so-so Ayala mall girl, one friendly FilipinoCupid girl, and one failed FC supercutie that I'll keep on the back burner. Back to Manila.

I used three sources while staying several days near Ortigas: Fake Facebook, FilipinoCupid, and old pre-GF friends' referrals. Logistically, my main hotel was the Lancaster on Shaw in Mandaluyong. My secondary was the Studio 18 Residences not far away in barangay San Antonio off of Shaw in Pasig.

From FilipinaCupid: Most notable bucket list accomplishment was two sisters living in Tarlac but originally from Bacolod. Put them up in Studio 18, one bed. Got BJs and and full satisfaction from both in the shower separately. Got both to stroke me simultaneously in the bed, but each preferred to go to the front room while the other blew or rode me. Neither was a stunner. The older was 30, plain but not ugly, friendlier, and gave good BBBJTCWS. The younger was short (4 ft 9 maybe), 28, very busty, slim belly, cute in a jungle sorta way, and when taken in a sitting or standing doggie position could extract my DNA as fast as any. Originally we were planned to also have their 26 year old cousin (very cute in pics and cam) join us, but she chickened out using illness as excuse. Cousin claimed to be a virgin. In any case, even without a "full house" of 2 sisters + 1 cousin, I can cross off my bucket list of two sisters at the same time. Original offer to them was to stay with me for 1 k per day "allowance". However, after the initial fun and accomplishment, they had nothing to offer in personality or intellect. They stayed one night only. I told them my flight was moved up and shipped 'em back to Tarlac.

Met a gorgeous girl 26 YO from Tawi-Tawi staying in Metro Manila while awaiting a visa back to Europe where she's lived for several years. To the Australian guy who knocked her up a month ago. I hope you man up! She wouldn't go all the way. I had to settle for some boob tasting. She's still on the list with future potential. Met her at the briefly rented Isabelle Royale in Makati.

Met a super sexy figured 38 year old from Pangasinan living in Manila. She's officially the oldest girl I've ever had sex with, but wow! Looks 10 years or more younger than actual. Her body was out-f'in-standing. She wouldn't go straight to my hotel, but I had nothing else to do at 4 am so met her at Jollibee Legarda. (She's a call center worker, so awake on vampire schedule). She rode me cowgirl until SHE was satisfied. Her lovely hair, awesome boobs, baby-soft skin and obvious enjoyment kept Little Wooly hard long after Big Wooly was fully satisfied and ready for the buffet downstairs. Her BJ was of the magical suction type I've found only rarely in this world. She is convinced I'll "disappear", but will definitely invite her back the next time I'm in town. We enjoyed each other's company from 4 am until early afternoon in the Lancaster.

From referrals: Friend in Bulacan who is now married with a baby introduced me to her former HS batchmate, a lovely 21-year old homebody. She travelled by bus to SM North, whence I Ubered her to me at the Lancaster. Willingly fulfilled all my wishes and later found from my friend that she's "fond of me". Stayed with me one afternoon at Lancaster.

Friend in Alabang originally from Dasma introduced me to her former HS batchmate, a 20-year old expert in massage. She wouldn't go all the way to baby-making exercise "on our first date", but I got an outstanding massage and solid BBJTCIM. My friend was very disapponted and upset that she didn't "have sex" with me, since my friend was sincerely trying to help me out after breaking up with my GF. A friend in need is a friend indeed! She stayed with me overnight at the Lancaster.

Met another friend-of-a-friend 20 years old from QC at the Lancaster, but she wouldn't take care of Wooly's needs. Shipped her back via Uber, but then too late to do anything about it she starts texting about how willing she now is. She wasn't a referral, just a friend-of-a-friend that I'm keeping on the list.

Fake Facebook resulted in no first-time meetings on this trip, but that was more a result of timing. It is my most common method of keeping communication with the roster of lovelies, though. I'm sure if I lived there for a few weeks or more, all methods would yield results.

Just call housekeeping. They fix.Couple of examples. Housekeeping can fix, housekeeping cannot fix.

1. Tropicana Apartments, Malate, 2 blocks from Robinson's. This is a high-rise apartment building, mostly for pinoy to live in, with a beautiful pool, that also rents out empty apartments. They are full 2-and-3 room suites with a kitchen and table to eat at, cooking wear, etc. Have been there so many times that the cleaning boys (who have also been there for many years; they still appear to be 17-19 years old as they did a decade ago) call me "4 towels". Even as the door guy is helping me to my room with my luggage just after checkin, if we pass one of the room cleaners he will immediately ask "Four towels right sir?" Yes, son, yes. Many times I've had 3 (or 6) girls come up during a single day / night, and I walk them all back down to the street. Upon exiting, if I need any of the 4 towels supplied during the day replaced, I just tell the door guy on the way out with the girl: Need 2 new towels in 906. Several times the 2 new towels were already laying on the bed by the time I elevator back up to the room; no need to holler at Housekeeping myself. I tip the door guys well, and slip the room guys (they take their slippers off before entering the room) every other day or so, and all (usually) goes smoothly.

2. Provincial hotel. Right on the main drag, has 7 floors, and about 20 rooms per floor on floors 2-7. The hotel bills their executive room with 2 beds and up to 4 persons. Always there are 2 towels in the bathroom. On recent stay there I saw the room guy in the hallway with his cart. Hey, can I get 2 extra towels in 709? "Yes sir". In fact, take this p500 note and make sure I get 4 towels everyday, ok? "Yes sir". Not quite sure what I was thinking, we were standing in the hallway next to the cupboard that holds the linens. That cupboard is never locked, I could easily grab extra towels or bedsheets anytime I wanted. The next day he put 2 towels in the room. I couldn't find him so I complained at the front desk. "You give him 500? For extra towel?" Yes, toots. I'd like 4 towels everyday (they know me well, I often keep 1-3 girls with me day / night there, it should come as no surprise that 2 towels is not enough in their 'Executive Room' which sleeps 4. "Oh, no sir! That guy does not work here". WTF? "We have some housekeeping staff gone sick few days only. They back today. That guy we borrow from other hotel. He no longer here". Great, I gave a stranger 500 pesos, and get nothing in return. "Also sir hotel policy 2 towel only in each room". So I can't have more? "No sir. Well yes sir. But you have to pay". How much? "I don't know. Just you wait sir". She walkie-talkied and a manager lady came out. They spoke the local tongue and the manager left. "Sir, its 10 pesos for towels". Great, p10 per towel, yes? "Ah no sir. Ten pesos only". Oh, p10 for both towels each day, yes? "No sir. You pay p10 now, you get 2 extra towel everyday". So, I pay you 10 pesos now, and you deliver 2 extra towels for all week, my total stay? Lahat? "Yes sir!" I handed her p20 note and was on my way. I had to call a few hours later to get the 2 towels delivered up (should have just grabbed them from the cupboard, right? Not learning from my mistakes). The next day they put 2 towels in the bathroom, and I complained at the desk, to the girl. You need more pesos? "No sir. Our mistake. I will send up towels now". 2 hours later, no towels. I called to complain (should have just grabbed them from the cupboard, right? Still not learning from my own mistakes). The following day when they cleaned the room, 2 towels only. I stopped complaining and just started grabbing what I needed from the cupboard in the hallway, and everyone was happy.

This morning at 10 am I had just released a girl and had another coming in an hour and needed rest towels. I ask the cleaning lady in the hall way for some and she had none on the cart. She said new towels from laundry will be ready at 2 pm. They were out because of full house. I gave her 50 pesos and told her to go floor to floor and get them off someone else's cart. 10 minutes later she had for me.

Me and my girlfriend arrived in Manila from Cebu Wednesday at 2 pm. I walked her over to the yellow taxi line and told her to tell the driver to take her to Victory Liner in Pasay so she could go get the bus back home to AC. She thought I was leaving for the States. I went back inside and called up an Uber. It was going to pick me up at Bay 2 at the other end of the building. The Uber picked me up at 2:28 pm. As luck would have it, we hit a traffic jam right behind the yellow taxi line. I saw my girlfriend sitting there waiting for a taxi with her back our way. Luckily this guy's window tint was too dark to see through. It ended up taking us 1 hour to get out of the airport. It took almost 3 hours to get to my hotel in Ermita. Let that be a warning on how shit Manila traffic is. It really sucked for the Uber driver because his fee was still 229 pesos.

We detoured through many a barangay and I saw plenty of beautiful women along the way. I also noticed how many kids and babies there are in PI. There is definitely no shortage of fucking there.

I checked into my hotel and headed to LA Cafe. I do not think I have seen as many lookers there as I did this time. One girl told me 2500. I told her it was too much. She said she was going to walk around. I said okay. Well when you come back you tell me 1000. She walked around and came back and told me 2000. I said okay. Walk around one more time and tell me 1000 when you get back. She finally went down to 1500 and I took her to the hotel. She started to get comfortable but I had to get her out of there before my Manila girl got off work and came over at midnight.

What terminal? 3?Why are you asking WC?

It makes no difference at present as all 3 airports are experiencing massive traffic jams around each of them, probably due to the on-going roadworks but who knows?

I have used all 3 airports within the last month and each experience was horrific.

On my latest venture through NAIA 1, I had a flight leaving at 30 minutes past midnight so I thought I would leave home at 7. 30 pm and I would use the lounge access if I was early. It took me 4 hours to reach the airport. Visitors be warned. It could take you 3 or 4 hours to Makati. It could also take 45 minutes if the stars are lined up. Travelling through Manila airports is a random experience.

Taking the sky way from mid-Makati (Say Ayala / Buendia) to the exit near Resorts World is exactly 17 minutes, every time.

Terminal 3 is right there across the road from RWM, but taking that left turn (or going straight to the roundabout and turning back towards the terminal) can take 2 hours, not to mention going to Terminal 2 which can take an additional 30 minutes.

I realize they're expanding the Skyway there, still how difficult could it be to add 2 more lanes to that turn into T3?

Isn't that the truth. My publishing career over before its started. !I think what's called for is an edited volume with multiple contributors rather than a single-author monograph. This design could even accommodate a number of "but mine was different" stories for color and contrast.

A quick search of Hutsori's personal posts might capture enough for a couple chapters on "how to clean up before and after" and "hooking up with educated Filipinas looking for a little strange." You could easily write a chapter from a collection of your posts from a couple years ago about "how to dash in and out of Manila for a two-to-three day business trip while packing in non-stop bonking in all the available time between meetings." WC could write chapters on "how to combine mongering with your photography hobby" and "getting your bedmates to pimp out new talent from their neighborhoods," CS could write about "how to get girls to play dress-up and face painting," and WR could write about "whips, chains, fishnet and other monger fetishes."

Arguably, a well conceived mongering guide might be offered in a pop-up ad on ISG with Jackson taking a small commission. In theory it might cut down on dumb questions from newbies who are too lazy to RTFF. On the other hand, most of these guys are unwilling to spring for a $20 ISG membership and might be unlikely to pay for and read any book-length manuscript.

I just had a guy post in the BKK thread how disappointed he was with his trip to Thailand without reading any of the many posts made for the last month on the toned-down scene after the king's death. Needs a generous definition of "dummies". Enjoy, AsianRain.

I would be happy to setup a call center business in which my operators churn out a set of monger accounts for each city. This would include:

A clean FB account with 30 women in your chosen RP city.

A matching wechat account.

A matching email and Viber account.

Pre-delivered two weeks of pinay conversation.

The benefit it that when you arrive, you just say, Hi I've arrived and the pinay come to you.

In-app purchase for sorting by boob size, no of kids and fetishes.

BD.

Many a guy has fallen under the bus because he also omitted to wipe out his wifi connection history. There are many many ways we can get tripped up. Maybe some one (one of us? Should write a.

" How To monger, for Dummies ".

With the following sections;.

Deleting all history from all devices.

Fake name generator.

Removing hair.

How to get your lies in synch.

How not to let a girl pick you up in airport.

How to successful pretend to significant others that you are in one country when actually in another. Etc.1. Use a dedicated smartphone (Buy a 100 buck smaprtphone on AliExpress).

2. That's easy: http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/.

3. I like hair, the hairier the merrier.

4. make your lies as close to reality as possible, just change minor details.

5. "surprise" your lady friend: tell her your are arriving Wed morning instead you will be in Manila the day before (when in fact you arrived two days before).

6. Prepaid cards anyone. Many countries will also issue two passports. I swear it's possible. Inquire.

When a guy has to make duplicate accounts for everything in his life to conceal his mongering, it is a good indication that he has lost his way. Mongering is supposed to be fun and uncomplicated. If a guy has to go through great lengths to hide the fact that he has casual sex, it usually means that he got himself tied up in marriage or a long term relationship. I doubt any monger goes through the trouble and expense of flying across the world to Manila just to make Filipinos happy while paying them for the privilege. The Filipinos are busy meeting and fucking local guys and other foreign mongers so there is no need to hide the fact that one is a monger from them. The jealousy thing is all about control and nothing else. They act jealous in an attempt to monopolize the monger's time and money when he is in town. A guy should not have to hide anything unless he is misrepresenting himself as a potential husband in order to get free sex. In that case he is setting himself up for trouble. However, if he is paying for sexual access there is no need for all the cloak and dagger stuff.

In fairness to new mongers in the Philippines, transaction creep can and does happen when girls playing the long game refuse payment and give freebies in an attempt to encourage repeat sessions with the end goal being to lure the monger into an expensive long term relationship. Mongers need to stay focused and remember that they are there to have no-strings-attached sex, enjoy themselves, and relax. They are not there to shoulder the girls' problems, financial obligations, and emotional issues. Mongering and girlfriend / wife hunting should be kept separate as they involve finding and meeting very different kinds of women. When guys stop treating mongering like romantic dating they will find they no longer feel the pressure to convince any girl that she is the only one coming over for a roll between the sheets.

I've been coming to Manila every 3 month in the last 1.5 years. In fact, I'm coming back again next week. Here is the recap of my experience:

- I stopped going to bars years ago and personally consider it a waste of my valuable time in Philippines. By far, the easiest way to pick up chicks for me has been WeChat and Tinder. I do use DIA on occasion but I still find mobile apps the quickest way to source pussy. In WeChat I simply go to "near by" function and start chatting with girls or have girls connect with me. The biggest advantage of WeChat in my opinion is that you only find girls who are actually "near by". These two apps, plus some regulars from previous trips, are more than enough for me to handle anyway.

- I always stay in Gramercy booked with AirBNB and I love it! In fact, I've been staying in the same condo for the last 3 visits and now book it off the platform directly with the host which saves me some cash to put to better use. I've read some bad reviews here about Gramercy security. Never had a problem myself. In fact, tight security is what you want in Manila anyway. They keep girls ID at the front desk, call me when she leaves to confirm. What more could you ask?

- Since I live just 3 hours away, I always book Cebu Pacific overnight flight straight from Shanghai. They often got great discounts which I often check on their site and as soon as I see discounted flight I grab it and start planning my trip. This time, it only cost me about $200 round trip!

- Prices: I have my own standard price list: 2 K for short time, 3 K for overnight. I rarely had to pay more than that and unless I really like the girl.

There has just been one problem that I still couldn't figure out. Actually, it makes me feel like a moron. Every time after I land in T3 and step out of the terminal I get approached by those expensive taxis that want 1,000 to take me to Makati. I usually take them down to 600 and I know that it shouldn't cost more than 200. Every time I try to find a normal taxi I just can't figure out where the hell they are! I almost walked around the terminal once, went upstairs to arrivals etc. - still couldn't find them. So, I'm hoping that someone here just enlighten me once and for all. Where do I find regular taxis in T3? Also, considering terrible traffic around the airport these days, is Uber still an option from the airport to Makati?

When a guy has to make duplicate accounts for everything in his life to conceal his mongering, it is a good indication that he has lost his way. I agree that being single means no need to explain one's promiscuity. But for safety from exploitation and desparate stalking, a fake or nickname is wise until there's some sort of real relationship beyond the next flight out.

There is usually a large sign there a well. These cabs have large blue letters / number on and can't be mistaken.

Yellow cabs further down to the right and normally longer queues.

Good round up Asianexpat and good you can get the illegal privateers to PHP 600 as many go for more or don't have the haggling skills.

Uber is used by many (Good Enough a frequent user) and he is very happy with the service and price.

You could also go upstairs to arrivals and outside you see some white normal cabs also.

Pay for Skyway (am sure you do) as this helps the bad traffic especially on Friday nights.

Asiansexpat,

Good report.

As I learned from earlier posts. Coming out of T3 on your right is the Resort World kiosk for free shuttle. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes. I get in line and sometimes the RW person will ask for your name and where you are going. No problem they are just filling out the clipboard. I tell them I am going to the Belmont Hotel, which I believe is the second stop.

The shuttle bus driver will load your bags on to the bus and unload it at your stop. The baggage rack is inside the bus but it is wise to keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't mistaken for someone else's on the first stop.

Get off at the Belmont Hotel and have the security guy hail you a taxi and instruct the taxi to use the meter.

Generally I tip the bus driver 50 pesos as I have one or two heavy bags. Also I tip the security guy 20-50 pesos for hailing a taxi. One time the security guy ran down the block and "hijack" a taxi by jumping in it and rode back. It was around 6:30 pm, hard as heck to get a taxi anywhere in Manila at that time.

When a guy has to make duplicate accounts for everything in his life to conceal his mongering, it is a good indication that he has lost his way. Mongering is supposed to be fun and uncomplicated. Many years ago I might have agreed with you. More recently I see people getting burnt by their Internet activity. An example of this is red sweater man, just some regular fella who became an Internet sensation for a few moments and then he was outed and castigated for some long ago comments; this article explains it all https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-intersect/wp/2016/10/14/ken-bone-was-a-hero-now-ken-bone-is-bad-it-was-his-destiny-as-a-human-meme/.

Your comments may be cherry picked and often the context is utterly lost to those reading them.

Companies are able to link a person's activities on one website to many other websites. Google builds a history of your browsing habits and this is for sale. Watch youtube videos? That's google too. Probably a lot more. A profile is built. If you registered for all sites using the same email account or linked several gmail / hotmail / yahoo accounts to a single user your Internet history can became known to potential employers, insurers, etc. Many websites allow, and in some cases require, their users logon with their wastebook account credentials. This convenience comes at a cost: your privacy.

Do what you think is best. I always encourage people to maintain strict boundaries between their personal / professional life and their hobbies / interests / politics / kinks, especially if any of those may be controversial.

Stay safe.

I arrived in Manila last Saturday night. Due to the traffic and especially waiting for my luggage for 1 hour or almost it took me until 8 pm I could reach the condo I had rented on AirBNB in Makati. Otherwise very nice condo close to Greenbelt but the cleaning fee 500 pesos for almost nothing, found some hair on the toilet seat and some thrash in some bins. But that is is a small thing but compared to the last condo I rented and the cleaning girl there who I also met the difference was really huge in cleanliness. She always did an awesome job.

I did some posting on the internet that I wanted to go out and see some night life but I arrived so late that I could only reach a girl who promised to be "my wing girl and nothing more". Others who sent me message didn't point this out so maybe more could have been available. But I thought that was ok so I agreed to meet her at Greenbelt. I thought I could always find some girls at the clubs fi I felt like that. Not a bad looking girl at all when she arrived and said she promised herself to sleep alone like she said and I thought she kept that promise although she disappeared later about 4am outside the club after kissing with a cute looking foreigner I think but she came in later and we took separate taxis so I don understand why she left the club with that guy after kissing and walking hand in hand. So the story went like we met at GB and had some drinks on the 3rd floor club and bar combination place where we had some cocktails. I don't remember the name of the place anymore but it was at the back. Then we took taxi to club called Royal I think it was very close to Gramercy and we stayed there until 5 am and I took taxi and went to sleep (alone) at 6 am. Was feeling a bit tired after traveling and Iam not good at picking up girls until I'm very drunk and then at that point it makes no sense anymore to bring back a girl in the room hahaha so it is like a vicious circle for me. Some girls sitting at the bar waiting I asked "how are you" and she replied "fine" and that was it. Maybe that is why my friend in Europe advised me not to ask questions that can be answered with one word and don't leave to a conversation. Yeah, one or two girls the wingwoman introduced to me promised to go with me and even knew exactly where my condo was so I guess they were really professional with many customers.

Then 2nd day I met just one girl 20 yo whom I was with here a few days and also a few days in Puerto Galera. A nice girl, just graduated and decent job and not asking for money BUT. I don't know. Maybe the looks not look enough. So we just had dinner and I didn't want her although she just wanted so see my room and talk about us so nothing happened.

Then after resting one night I met a FilipinoCupid girl for dinner also at GB. We had food then some wine and she thought we are compatible, asked my horoscope etc and started messaging me on the table in FB where she added me and that she loved me and wants be my GF. She said that she had been in FC for four months and only had met a Japanese guy which didn't speak much English and that she had been single for three years after her filipino BF and she had no kids. She said she was 30 so I asked why she had 27 on her profile. She said something she put it wrong and can't change it etc. I said no I'm not disappointed when she asked that (although I might have been a bit since I think about 25-28 would be best for me as I am 39). Then we went to my room. She had previously asked about my plans and I said we could go "see my room" after the dinner and she agreed so I showed green light. She liked Frenck kiss (which I don't) and that we did and finally also game me a BJ and I could almost finish. She also loved her nipples being sucked but the pussy could be seen only the following day, hmmp. Then she left 4 am because she said her work In QC starts about 8 and she needs to go home. She promised that the next night she would take her pants off, just that it was too quick to have sex, she thinks 2nd or 3rd time is ok so she promised the next night.

The next night we saw and had dinner also. I was about to take her to the condo at about 11 when she started crying and she said it was a disgrace for her to come home 5 am the previous night and she was so tired and she had no clothes although the previous night she promised to bring those woth her so she could stay with me. I was quite of angry and she cried a bit. I said I could find other girls who have sex if you keep lying to me. She said she hadn't lied at all just was tired. And how she felt so bad I had said I could find other girls for sex. She said I wanted only sex. I said no I want both love and sex. Then we agreed to meet the next day and I gave her 500 p for taxi.

The next day we went to a dinner and to see a movie at SM Mall. Then had a few cocktails at a bar in Makati. Then again she was going to home for sleep before work. She said she could meet me the next day at 11 or 12 instead of 3 pm today and 7 pm the day before. I was thinking she was lying all the time. I said "I don't think you have a job". She showed me a pic with a logo of a company with her (marketing job she says) and a pic with a computer and a bookshelf behind her (should you believe that). She said she is the manage and can dedice. I asked when you stay with me the night. She asked "When are you leaving". I said "On Tuesday". Then she said ok "Monday". At that point I realised that is her plan, use me until the last night and then disappear with another excuse. She said she does not make excuses. Then she said "ok maybe Friday night" when I asked why not Friday cause last night she said she works Mon to Fri. Now she said her boss asked and she really works Saturday too. I though "Ok, what the fuck, enough of this shit" I will delete her from FB and find some other gilrs (to fuck too). But all in all I only lost a fouple of dinners and drinks and that 480 p dress I bought and 1200 p taxis I paid her for coming to me (for one BJ) her but she already started hinting that she has birthday on December (which might be true, her FB proflile etc but who knows.) Do you think she is a typical Filipino Cupid scammer asking for money or buying things for her? I'm not going to take a risk anymore with her. For her daytime company showing me 2-3 days around 2 k pesos is not too much. I need pussy too.

One reason for not being too fast with her was also that I discovered some red lesions on the tip of my penis 4-5 days ago so I haven't been wanting to have (or have been horny) sex and show them because I don't know what they are. Yes I was in Pattaya last week but to me these symptoms like just red spots and no pain they don't point to an STD. I have herpes so maybe it could be a mild outbreak without blisters? Or some yeast infection from last week? Anyway I took herpes mesication now for a few days and also some yeast cream from Mercury and now one of the spots has disappeared and the other one almost also completely. So maybe it was herpes that I have had from 2010 but it hasnt caused a lot of symptoms so far. Or maybe yeast? Not sure but seems to be going away. I don't think a doctor could help me. This doesn't seem an STD since no pain etc.

But I hope now that I have still 5 days in PH and 5 in Thailand soon can start having and could find sex too. Tired of these scammers. Must not be that hard to find flipina pussy (even for me). Stay safe and hope to see you around here in Manila!

Give them the inbound flight number and terminal number. Yes, it will run you more money (p1000-1500). However, I have been at both T1 and T3 at times when there were no reglar taxis (or too few), or none of those high-priced mini-van / SUV-type taxis. A hotel car means that the car is waiting nearby for me, with no need to give directions to the hotel to a taxi driver.

Just to add my two cents. I had requested my hotel for a pick up from Terminal 2 to my hotel near greenbelt and I was charged PHP 800. After I changed hotel, when I checked out from my hotel in Malate, the taxi to Terminal 2 charged PHP 145. Very strange indeed!

T1/ T3 to Makati say Dusit is PHP 440 on the white taxis. I find this convenient. When I leave the taxi at most is PHP 175 and includes the Skyway fee (the DUsit had tried to charge PHP 1500) - some hotel picks ups are really private firms not actual hotel employees paying a margin to the hotel for the ability to market itself to guests.

If use Uber etc is cheaper as GE uses this and is very happy.

YMMV.

After I changed hotel, when I checked out from my hotel in Malate, the taxi to Terminal 2 charged PHP 145. Very strange indeed! Here is my understanding of the transportation Hierarchy at Manila Intl Airport. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

1. Tout 'Taxis' - Most Expensive but always available; try to avoid them.

2. Coupon Taxis. Fixed rates, second most expensive, readily available.

3. Yellow Airport Taxis. Start with a higher base meter than white taxis. Depending on timing, there can be a long line for them.

4. White common taxis. Cheapest, but can have the longest wait.

Walking out of Terminal 3 (Delta's terminal), cross the first lane and take a right for transportation. Touts begin harassing you everywhere, but Coupon taxis will be the first of the others that you will encounter. Ask how much to your hotel. For me, I was quoted 750 php to Heritage Hotel in Pasay last week at 10 pm on a Friday. I almost took the bait, having in the past encountered lines 20-40 deep for the other taxis, whose arrivals were limited by traffic. But I kept walking, thinking I could always return. At the end of the strip, the white taxis were on the left side, and the yellows were on the right. Luckily, there was a line of whites queued-up and only 2-3 customers in line. Fare to the Heritage was 96 php. My lucky day! It was a nightmare the previous month at 9 pm on a Friday and I ended up in a Coupon cab.

I see no advantage in arranging for the hotel shuttle to return you to the airport (they always ask at checkout). The price is ridiculous and they get there no faster than an Uber or a Grab! taxi.

I mostly use Uber now so I don't have to worry about the cab driver not having change. But Grab! often offers a quicker pick-up.

20 USD is a good price, save time and trouble. Are you use it before, they will wait you when the fly delayed? When I was delayed from Dubai they waited (3 hrs or so). Hotel managment banter with me when I arrived; "we follow / track your flight (most likely not the driver but the management handling booking of hotel cars and inform the driver)". This is also a question you can address to the actual you book airport pickup through.

I use an AC driver to pick me up at NAIA when I first come into RP. Usually I land around 9:30 pm in T1 and then he drives me to AC. Along the way I can get a cup of coffee and a small meal. Generally I am into AC hotel between 12:30-1:00 am and I have a girl coming in 30 minutes.

A few times the plane has been late by an hour. The worst was over 4 hours. We circled NAIA for an hour in a holding pattern and then was forced to land at Clark to refuel. We were not allowed to get off the plane and were parked in some remote area along with 6 others planes that I could see. The refueling wait took over 2 1/2 hours. Finally the pilot announced we were allowed to take off and to get back into the holding pattern which was estimated to be over an hour. After about 15 minutes in the air the pilot announced a slot had magically opened but. He would have do a steep dive to land in that opened slot. At that point I didn't care.

My driver had waited over 4 hours plus he had gotten to the airport an hour earlier. I have to tell you that I have a regular phone with Smart Sim that use for Phil. A day or two before my arrival I do an online load for it and as soon as I land in Manila it is working. So I was always in contact with the driver to keep him informed. I tipped the driver an extra 200 along with his regular tip for his troubles.

My advice is to always use the same driver if you can and to have a working cell phone upon landing.

Interesting is I usually pay 3 k all in for the driver to AC. The past few times I have been able to book MNL to CEB and CEB to CRK for around 3 k. So I stay in Manila a few days and then go to Cebu for a few days. Both places I have former AC bg and their friends available.

I'm talking with a girl for 1 month. She is beautiful really, from Visayas, without work, 1 kid, shy, she is online always for short time but I cannot know it because on Facebook she can disable her visibility. She lives with her kid and auntie. I met her on Facebook the first time. She told me she has a account on filipinocupid but she doesn't serf there anymore because she lost her password. I checked it on filipinocupid and it is true because for 2 months she is not online there.

Sometimes when I talk about hot topics (for me innocent topics) she slips away toward another topic without answering. When I asked her if we can take a shower together, she answered it was not possible. I tried to stop talking with her and she told it was possible to take a shower together. She is a smart girl. Why do I ask this question? I like to know better the culture of the Philippines and I like to know also the behavior of the girls. Do you think she could be a good actress or a regular girl? She is an unemployed single mother who spends all her time online chatting old men on dating sites and Facebook. I think it is safe to say that she is a freelancer. Anyway, unless you are planning to marry her it does not really matter. You want sex and she obviously needs your money. Don't waste her time if you're trying to get free sex. That kind of behavior on ISG is known as sexual shoplifting. Instead of playing games and asking her about taking showers together, just tell her that you are considering visiting the Philippines to have sex with women and the amount that you are willing to pay for her favors. One month of online chats is a luxury that a jobless single mother in the Visayas can ill afford unless you are sending her money to compensate for her time, electricity, internet access, and opportunity cost.

Do you think she could be a good actress or a regular girl?Rather than ask lots of questions BH both on the forum and countless PMs to various members I know (including me), try coming to the Philippines and find out? A novel idea for you maybe but one you should try and stop being a keyboard warrior using one hand only.

If she ask for cash I suggest you send it to me first and I will vet her for you poor to me sending her the cash.

No idea. The only way you will ever know is to go to Phils and meet her and many others. Build you knowledge through participation.

From your description of the conversation she sounds like any one of the millions having conversations. She's probably treating you the same way. She thinks "another guy online chatting for over a month but he has no arrival date, no arrangements to be in Philippines, seems like he's just wasting my time. "

Is she a good actress or a regular girl? I would suggest she is just a person. Please don't expect too much strategy from provincial girls.

Besthunter or The Hunter (as he calls himself on another forum) asks the same question time and time again on several forums. He doesn't seem to have a clue what he is doing. Don't waste time guys answering this guy. If you answer him he starts off shooting new questions from his hips and even answers he gets (by now understandably very few, as BMs have understood he is, well I'll be nice, HM, odd) will be questioned and even disagreed by him. Why ask in the first place if he knows so well what he wants. Just a head up. I am out.

She must be chatting on line with dozens guys at the same time. That explains her temporary lapse of attention, lack of focus and delayed responses to you.

There is an industry of chat girls who milk lonely, gullible guys all over the world out of hundreds millions dollars every year. They learn tricks from one another how to manipulate guys to feel in love and feel good in sending money to strangers. Then they celebrate their windfalls and laugh among themselves how some of these guys are so stupid and gullible. They are some of the most professional scammers and swindlers in the world.

You should go to China, Thailand, the Philippines and visit some internet shops to see how these chat girls operate, spending all day on line selling alleged love and sex for big money.

Until you are on location and finish an objective, professional investigation of all the facts she gave you, just assume she gave you all brazen lies, lies, lies.

If she is genuine then the possible reasons are:

1) She's shy about stretch marks.

2) She's shy about her lady penis.

3) She doesn't have access to a private western-style shower.

Of the three I think the third is most plausible if she is very poor. A shower is a spigot and bucket. If she is poor and in an urban area it may be a communal toilet and shower.

Sorry but I think you have not read carefully my post. She has not Internet but is using free data on Facebook.

Actually he gave you a good answer. You neglected to mention her facebook is the free one.

Reading Vita's comment and your curt reply to Chocha I have I idea where this is going. I encourage you to learn some manners, for example a simple "thank you" to Chocha was deserved.

Spot on Captain. I will give an example the lady I hired to be my Manadin teacher was a high school teacher that left teaching high school to become a "tranlator" for a couple of the popular "paid" Asian dating / marriage sites because it paid better. She got one amount for every customer that she could get to download the pictures and for each message that she "translated". So all she does day in and day out is send messages to foreigners Chances are most guys will not actually communicate with the girl in the photo until they express interest in going to China. Do an experiment subscribe to one of the *cupid sites and see how many messages you get from girls that have not even looked at your profile.

What ever you do, do not get scammed into paying for the girl to fly to the US / Europe etc. A girl might arrive and it might be the girl you though you were chatting with, but probably not. However, knowing that the sites can also be used effectively, contact the manager of the site. Tell them you will be visiting China and are interested in a handful of the girls but do not know who to choose as your wife. The manager will arrange day long dates with the girls you identify if they are available thereby allowing you to fully sample the menu.

How much do those day-long dates costs in Chang Mai, Bangkok or other towns?

But I,m thinking of buying a condo in Manila for rental-and holidays.

Any thoughts or advice from members.

Both good and bad comments very much appreciated!

2 mil pesos plus budget.

Has anybody here been down this road and what were the results.

Cheers. You will need to give more information on how you arrived at this idea.

In my experience from the friends that have purchased property is that there is close to ZERO resale market. You might feel you get a bargain but how will you ever sell it.

Can reference you to two people currently with wonderfully priced properties, lots of tyre kickers and no offers.

Cheers.I own my own condo and have used it as my residence since 2006.

It is one of the "older" units so it has larger rooms and higher ceilings.

It is a very well-run building, quiet and attractive, and is situated in the midst of Ortigas.

It cost more than 9 M to purchase.

At least one-quarter of the units in my condo (in the center of Ortigas) are empty, because the rent is possibly too high.

My condo is surrounded by other condos, also with low current rates of occupancy. These newer condos are like shoe-boxes and incredibly small and unattractive.

If you want to buy as a residence, then you will save money in the long run over rental costs / hotel costs.

If you want to rent it out, it will need to be significantly better than the plethora of units available for renting. Thus, LOCATION is a key factor, which suggests to me that your 2 M php budget will be much too small, since renters do not wish to be too far away fro the centers of Makati Ortigas, Alabang, BGC, Cubao etc.

You will be very lucky to buy a condo for 2 M in a desirable area; you might find a 1-br or a loft-style.

Remember also that there are monthly condominium running costs (security, water, insurance etc) which you, as the owner, have to pay.

For me, that is around 10 K per month.

Probably better to have posted this in Living in the Philippines. Agree with the advice from RK. My builds.

Good thing is that forefingers can own condos legally and so no hurdles there. Having bought property in Thailand and almost bought property in Manila, I can give you some views. First, property generally high-priced in Manila, especially for the better-located properties by the higher reputation developers (e. G. Ayala developments in Greenbelt or Fort Bonafacio). If PHP2 m is your cap, you will find a selection that is faulty in some element (size, location, amenities, etc.). Check out www.olx.ph and do some searches and you will see what I mean.

Now if you buy a place, it will probably suit best for personal holidays. But if you are thinking of rental income, if you buy a studio-type place, you will be up against a lot of competition as there are a million other studio and 1 br-type places around. And with AirBnB, the options for renters is plentiful and there is no way they are going to pay much to stay in a hotel-sized room in Quezon City. The other downside is that PH condos have the highest fees for "association dues" because of high electricity and security costs (much lower in Thailand as you don't need a squad of security to guard every access point) as well as there are hefty property tax bills (zero condo property tax for my Thailand condo).

I had considered buying in Manila as an investment because I found a 3 br 180 sqm place in Makati's Residences at Greenbelt (Ayala development), inclusive of 2 parking spaces, on a super high floor with a never-to-be-obstructed 180-degree balcony view of Manila with a crossbridge connection to Greenbelt Mall with an existing single Asian lady tenant who was working for an international organization which pays the PHP150 k / month rent one year in advance. All for a very reasonable PHP28 m purchase price. This would have been a good bet investment property. Why didn't I buy? Because in the end I wanted to keep my option open for buying a property in Bangkok, which I haven't even come close to doing because of the terminally low rental-to-buy ratios here. It is simply too cheap to rent here and keep my options open. Honestly I sometimes give myself a little kick for not have taken the plunge on buying in Manila.

Offhand you might want to take a look at the options in old Manila. My friend stayed by AirBnB in a studio flat in the development attached to Robinson's Malate department store, which I found very functional. The whole Robinson's Malate development is a nice oasis in the urban desert surroundings, but it was a perfect one-stop-shop location for my friend as Robinson's mall had everything, including cute girls to trawl as well as pretty good access to everything. And the girls you meet will think you are King of the World staying in your aircon studio compared with the squalor-ridden places they are living. Hope this is helpful. Enjoy Manila, AsianRain.

All for a very reasonable PHP28 m purchase price. This would have been a good bet investment property. AR pretty much confirmed everything that I said in my OP.

I bought my condo after being here for around 6 years because for those 6 years I still wasn't sure I was staying despite being "semi-permanently" employed. When I did my sums I realized I was wasting cash by renting (I was paying 85 K per month back in 1998) .

AR's example shows the costs involved in renting near highly-desired places (like Ayala Greenbelt).

After almost 10 years of ownership I have virtually recouped my buying price in "saved" rental costs, give or take a million php here and there LOL.

I can sell my condo fairly easily right now but at virtually the same price that I paid for it 9 years ago. I can live with that as it was never bought as an "investment" anyway.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the replies to my question.

I realize 2 mill pesos is quite a low price but I simply have other commitments over here.

I was looking actually at a 1 bedroom studio, on a high floor.

In relation to rental income I'm not fussed as a foreigner I understand I will get screwed over by agents and the like over there, so any rental would be bonus.

Are management fees quite high?

I realize that very much depends on the property in question?

Cheers again, LWD.

In general, units on higher floors are more expensive.

You are starting with a very negative outlook. Why assume you will get screwed by agents (and the like?) just because you're a foreigner. If you do your due diligence like everyone should, then absolutely no reason why you should get screwed. Not every filipino is a crook you know. You won't enjoy living here if you start with that mind-set.

You asked a question and then answered it for yourself. Depends on the size of the unit and the rates per sq. Meter.

Management costs are generally higher than you might expect.

For running costs, remember that electricity costs are the highest in Asia, so expect large expenses if you need air con.

Cheers again, LWD.Where I was living previously in Makati a 34 sqm 1 BR condo is about p4 million w / o parking. This building is a 5-minute walk from Makati Medical Center, making this a good location but not an overpriced one such as beside Greenbelt. Condo association fees are based on the size of the unit, and they were about p2000 per month. I know of other condos, in particular prestige addresses, w / much higher fees. Water is about 300-400 per month. Electricity is the killer, and the larger a place the more expensive to cool it. My most expensive monthly cost there was about p6000 and the least was p3000. I'm in a 52 sqm place now but Pasay.

The most important thing re rental to others is make sure the condo bylaws permit it.

Arrived quite late in LA Cafe Saturday night. Got an advice from a French guy not to pay more than 1500 PHP to the girls. He claimed he stayed in Manila for 6 years and never offered more. Well. I followed his advise. And it worked! Got a quite nice girl for 1500 PHP and she stayed until 11 in the morning. A good deal. And she was fairly enthusiastic in the bed however a little shy. Quite many young girls (around 20 years old) arrived LA Cafe when I left at 2 AM. They were slim and pretty so the selection some nights seems OK. For quality versus price I think LA Cafe is still the best option in Manila.

As we are on the condos issue I was debating purchasing a condo but I have a few questions.

How are condos managed. A top condo from 2000, 15 years later, I imagine many rich families have moved to a newer more luxurious condo, so as a building gets older the quality & the means of its occupants must decrease and perhaps less money is invested in the maintenance / upgrade of the building.

What is the resale value of a condo after 10,15 or 20 years? Guys with money will always want the new condo it's not like Paris or London where a 100 years old building could still be in perfect condition.

What is the avg sqm price of a new unit vs a year 2000 unit?

Or maybe buying a unit from 2000 is a good way to make sure the building has a good construction and is properly maintained).

In 2016 is it still worth it to buy or are we in a bubble and the price will go down in the years to come?

Another reason I have (at least for now) refrained from buying is the fact is you look at condo towers at 8 or 9 PM when all lights should be on, actually very few are on. They keep building condos and they are largely unoccupied. That is not a good sign for the future.

A final question, can you negotiate the price of a new unit let's say Ayala or SM. I mean in major European cities for new building there is 0 hope to negotiate (unless maybe for the last few unwanted units with turn offs) because the promoter built his balance sheet and in central Paris or central London the units will be sold before the building is complete.

Only buy from a good developer.

2. All the good condos are bought in pre-sale meaning before it goes on sale to general public. To get on these lists you need to know a good realtor.

3. Ayala will not be building any more high end condos in central Makati till 2021.

4. Not much room to negotiate unless you either pay in full in cash or off plan ie before building is built.

5. There are a lot of empty units as some developers have built crap they can't sell in both Makati other parts Manila and BGC.

6. Check what mgt fees are. They do vary. Make sure you know to pay real estate tax every year.

7. The most recent one I sold had made about 75% over 10 years.

8. You are correct, newer is better but newer units are also smaller.

9. Location location location.

10. I have bought and sold and bought again. Will probably hold onto to the ones I still have as the airbnb market is getting stronger all the time.

Unless you have lots of contacts, it is a bit hit or miss. I bought condo in Bellagio 2 (off the plan) from Megaworld Corporation. People I asked stated that they had a good reputation. But they subcontract a lot of work and their project managers are either hopeless or corrupt. For example they used concrete instead of grouting in the bathrooms, and the final layout was different from the floor plan with unusable space between the bathrooms. I could go on and on! A lot of condos have been bought by Filipinos working in the USA They plan to retire to the condo when they can afford. This is another reason why there are so many vacant units.

If you're short on time, meet-up apps are the way forward. SKOUT has been very useful because it's location based so you can see how far away the girls are before you send messages. Tinder is good but takes a few days to heat up. Badoo is also worth a try.

If you already know which hotel you are to stay, then the best would be to use escort services available on the net. You can select the girl before you even arrive in Manila and plan the meeting according to your availability.

Grab Taxi. Download the App. I think it is better thAn Uber. More cars.It might be even easier than you think. Recently I downloaded the Grab app, but didn't have time to set it up. The condo I was staying at was away from the street, and doesn't have regular taxis driving by routinely to flag down. That didn't matter, as I like to walk around anyway, and I could always walk 2 blocks to the main street and hail a taxi. Then upon checkout, I realized that I might have to drag my luggage to the main drag to get a taxi (or alternately go hail one at the street and have the driver go back to the hotel to fetch my luggage). As I was at the front desk, I asked the girl at the counter how to get a taxi to the airport. She whipped out her phone and opened her Grab app. She put in the name of the condo and NAIA T2. Right away it found a car and it quoted a fixed price. She showed me the phone and asked: "Is this fixed price ok to you?" Yes, yes it is. "Please have a seat sir, the doorman will call you when your car arrives. You pay the driver at the end of your ride. No need to tip unless you want". 3 minutes later the door guy motioned to me when a new, mid-sized black sedan showed up. He tossed my luggage in the trunk and when I opened the passenger door to sit in the front seat, I was greeted by this stunning (stunning!) early-20's lady driver. She was so cute that I almost couldn't speak. I asked if this was a taxi. "No sir. This is my car". Wow, nice wheels you have here. "Yes. I love my car. I drive everyday to make the payments". She had a traffic / mapping app open on her smartphone, mounted to the dash. Light traffic, and 20 short minutes later she was dropping me at T2. I hated leaving pilippines, and I hated leaving that girl.

It might be easier when checking into your hotel / condo, to check with the staff to see if they have access to uber / Grab or such.

Hi,

I will be in Manila for only 2 nights on the week starting 23/01, with days already overbooked with work.

I will not have time to spend hours in Burgos to find the right lady. Any quick wins or tips to find a clean short-framed slim young lady?

Appreciate your help.

S.What a dilemma! Only 2 nights and you can't find what you are looking for when you arrive so basically ask everyone for contacts in a roundabout way?

Best you PM me as I have had the same problems and I managed very easily and PM is the way to do this.

Look forward to the PM so we can share tips.

Grab Taxi. Download the App. I think it is better thAn Uber. More cars.At the Red Planet Hotel near Mall of Asia there is a Grab Taxi person on duty with a tablet. He or she will order a taxi for you and show you the price and then within 3 minutes your car is there. Last time I downloaded the app used it when the person was off duty at night. The app works well with Wifi but can be spotty using data or 4 g outside.

Before before many things, people went out, scoured neighbourhoods, smiled at people, got to talking and smiling and striking up conversations and before you know it, they had girls in their bed. Now we live in a world of instant coffee, instant wifi connection, instant erection assisting tablets, fast food and a whole gang of " I want this give me now now now, its my right " posters have entered the world.

Enjoy your stay in the Peninsula. If you have no time, I don't think theres a lot of folks that have the time to assist you either.

And wouldn't it be embarrassing if you had to report that you were one of the few chaps to come to Manila and not get laid.

Take the time for those things that's important to you. Would you place a bet on a horse based on a website recommendation?

ISG isn't a place where we generally give new posters a " here's the numbers of my last 25 fucks, please enjoy ".

Hi all,

First of all just a thank you to one and all who replied to my posting re buying a condo in Makati.

Secondly for all those regular Filipino addicts is etdsa a good place to meet some mature girls or is it mostly the younger ladies.

Should I venture over to cafe Havana? Is there another club which has a few of the older girls.

Cheers always.

I have spend 4 years in the Phil and travelled so manny cities.

Yeah I had manny girls even 3 same time in the room. Cause its hard to finish an old man for a skinny lazy girl (I am not a matcho).

I have spend 4 months in Thailand.

Can annybody explain whi I should go to Manila? What does it offer more than Angeles Cebu or just lets say Dagupan or Butuan?

Yes I hit manny manny pinoy bars in Quiapo Marikina Antipolo and then I come to lame touristic areas as Ermita P. Burgos and EDSA but I realy simply don't see don't see the advantages.

Maybe I am stupid or maybe I am spoiled. Just help me out!

Annyhow, the best bars are in Pattaya and the best girls are in the Phill!

And oh I yeah I met now a nice Pinay! But that one is to keep forever and not to monger annymore!

Older girls you get for free anywhere in the Phil!

Don't go to tourist spots that's overpriced (both in girls and beer).

Pinoy like white and sexy (is fat).

So just look for old slim or old dark and you have the whole world at your feet!

Just hand your celnum over in parks or malls or even in 7/11.

Are you really living in the Phill?

Skinny is hard to find. They are to much spoiled by all the money throwing white.

So you are the lucky one!

A lot of older ones at G Point and of course LA Cafe. If you're willing to work the dating sites, plenty of girls age 35+ who are usually ignored in favor to those 18-24. Some of the best fucks I've had are those in their late 30's and 40's who are tired of a lonely life and realise that an LTR is unlikely. They decide they might as well enjoy what's left of their good looks before hitting the wall. Keep in mind the Philippines is a conservative country and the stigma of being a dirty woman worries them. Hang ups exist, so the key is to reframe their perception. Be re-assuring that you're discreet, non-judgmental (this is the big one), and that they ought to enjoy life rather than wait around for their pensions and the grim reaper.

First thanks to previous posters and your PM's. I had 3 nights, the first night was late so that was a right off.

I stayed in Makati and should have used Uber or Grab from the ariport as the metered taxi ended up being a lot more than I should have payed.

During the day, I got on to Tinder and Wechat. There are too many trannies. At least some are upfront. Most of the "girls" that looked really hot are trans. Felt like a 'mirage"! Really wished there was an option on these apps where the trans does not show up all!

During the day. On Tinder, I got a hit with a local non-pro. She was having a celebration with co-workers and said she would be keen on meeting up later. On WeChat I got a hit with an ok girl but after a few messages she was really a masseuse looking for business. I got quite a few other messages and hits but I was playing Mr Fussy.

I wandered over to Havana Cafe around 8 pm, to try the frozen margarita I read about, but it was not that good. There was a surprisingly good looking girl that smiled at me so I went to sit with her. Of all the dozen or so times I have walked past this place, there was either hardly any girls there or if there was, not something I liked. She wanted 5 k for the night and I told her I didn't have 5 k so I went to the money changer nearby, on the way there an old lady chatted me up and on the way back another young very nice girl chatted to me asking me directions (but also asked about where I came from etc.) It must be the Christmas season. The tinder girl was still on the back of my mind, but thought it best to go with the bird in the hand vs the one in the Bush. I took her back to my hotel and was pleased with her service but she did not want to stay till the morning so I let her go. In the meantime, the tinder girl was ready to meet me, but by then it just got too late and I was tired.

I chatted with Tinder girl again but never actually met up after that because of her other family commitments.

On my last night I got a hit on WeChat with what I thought was a SuperHottie. She agreed to meet but was upfront that she had "rates". (this makes her a pro, so you get pics). I think her name was Aimaia or something. We met at Starbucks (near Havana) and she was at hot as she looks.

The downside was her rates were 10 k, but it wasn't the money, but something was not quite right, I don't know if it was the 'raspy' voice or as I walked away from the whole thing, she returned to her friends, obviously all trans. Now, I am an open mind "don't knock it until you try it" sort of a guy, but something just wasn't right. As I was hundreds of meters away, she messaged back, willing to negotiate. I kept walking. I respect her rates, I am not into haggling.

Burgos was not far away, but I was more comfortable hitting EDSA. I ordered a Uber, while waiting a taxi tried posing as my Uber said he was my rider (I could still see my real Uber minutes away). He asked where I wanted to go, I told him EDSA, he laughed, and said it was being raided right now as he had just dropped a customer off. He would take me someplace better, a sister establishment or if I was after top chicks, Ms Universe or Air Force One. I was not born yesterday, I told him I had my heart set on EDSA and would go back to my room instead.

My real Uber showed up and off to EDSA I went. It was a little quiet, less girls and customers than I remember, it was 11 pm and was surprised to still see 3 outstanding spinners each in different clubs, my first choice was ended up with some Ks by the time I recon the whole place, so I went with #2, left EDSA by 11:45 pm, turned out to be super honeymoon GFE and had a great time!!

Damage. Bar = 2400 p (inc 2 drinks). Girl = 3000 p (ST) but paid 4500 p (LT) and Ubered her home in the morning, she was willing to stay longer but I had a flight to catch.

Interesting trip report PB and I think you dodged a bullet with that Wechat girl. I looked at her photos first before I read your report and my ladyboy radar immediately sounded. She just does not look like a girl to me and then what natural born girl captions her photo with, "I am women 100%." LOL. That sounds like a post op to me. But who cares what her real story is? When in doubt, punt.

You see a hot chick, you can't believe your eyes, you click, you read more, then many of them are pre-op. It's like a mirage!

Might be tempted to take a peek, get a massage and BJ for 500 p or so and see where it leads. 10 k was just over the top.

I wanted to meet her and she looked hot, I even asked her if she was 100% girl and she was very offended. By my use of the app, reading the profiles, many of the real girls are also pissed and fed up on guys asking if they are trans all the time.

The app should really have a third gender option for people seeking alternate genders.

Great report PB, which bars at EDSA did you visit? Judging by the photos, I'd call wang. Wise to avoid.I hade a peek in all of them.

- one immediately on the left of the entrance was ok, I picked up my first Manila girl there with BrownRail.

- then immediately opposite on the left, had 3 from memory, they was all good, one spinner came from there.

- next on the right cowboy theme was ok first time, second time took the same girl out she did a runner after 1 pop.

- turn right immediatly after the entrance, 2 bars at the end, those were the other 2 spinners, ended up with the one on the left, her name was Tan.

What can you say?" and I said Wang! It is wise to avoid meeting anyone claiming to be 100% woman on WangChat in Manila. Pinays who were born female do not feel the need to declare that they are 100% woman. Also, take a look at the photo where the broad shoulders, narrow hips, and Adam's apple are clearly visible.

I don't think that would solve the problem, a good percentage of the LBs in Manila seem intent on wilfully deceiving, but to what end I couldn't tell you. What do they think is going to happen if you actually got them in a room, that you suddenly decide a dick is better than a pussy?

I've had one experience in this area last year. Was chatting to a girl on my FB account who in photos looked pretty legit, we communicated for about two weeks before I arrived (but only in passing). We then met for coffee in Poblacion and when "she" walked in I immediately knew it was a dude. As I'd already ordered a coffee we had a very cordial chat during which I mentioned very plainly that the TS option wasn't for me, girls only. Whilst I was severely pissed off by the wasted time, it made no sense to get angry or be in anyway antagonistic given that I'm a stranger in a strange land and need unnecessary hassle like I need a third nipple.

I even asked her if she was 100% girl and she was very offended. By my use of the app, reading the profiles, many of the real girls are also pissed and fed up on guys asking if they are trans all the time.I'm in the habit now of always asking the question. The answers are in the answers, although not in the content.

SO my question is always "Are you a ladyboy?

Ladyboy answers include.

Yes.

Why do you ask that?

You offend me!

Why do all men ask that?

Just love me for what I am.

Real women answer:

No.

So any answer to "Are you a ladyboy?" regardless of the content which needs to include any qualification or justification usually indicates a ladyboy.

BTW, this is based on legitimate research on the online communication. Generally when people are lying, they will use many more words than which they usually do or need to.

Would appreciate feedback on how this works for others.

Another example goes like this:

ME: How are you?

Her: I'm good.

ME / Her / Me / Her: more tedious one line banter over a few hours or days or weeks.

Her: Oh, I have a small problem.

Me (starting to smile): Oh?

Her: Yes my mum needs medicines, my baby has no food, my grandma is now in hospital but my allowance from my father hasn't arrived yet. I don't know what to do. I need to pay school tuition tomorrow as well as send money to my cousin who just had a car accident. I really need your help to buy books for my brother as he is hoping to go abroad this year. I want to apply my passport but need requirements. Now my employer tells me no work today. Can you loan me P5,000? I will repay you as soon as I get job, allowance and grandmas inheritance.

ME (Wide smile) : "Block".

P.S.; I admire that she asks and that online westerns can be her source of income, it's just not what I'm seeking online.

Was dating a lady last year who told me she was 34. That was fine with me, as I had also knocked about 10 years off my real age.

Dating was fine and there was lots of fun, and good times all round, and then one day, we took a trip together to Vietnam.

And that meant we both got to see each others passports. I noted that the lady ID been dating for 6 months wasnt in fact 34, but was 42. I looked at her, passport page, back to her and she just smiled.

She in turn looked at mine, did the math, made big eyes, smiled, I smiled and we never mentioned our respective ages any more.

IME this is true but they want psychological attention and tend to be clingy.

The younger ones will love sex, most often be in the state of 'readiness' and can move on.

I plan on trying on in at least four decades next trip. I want to see if the 40+ are wilder for lack of attention.Usual caveats about sweeping generalisations and each person is an individual with her own hang ups and turn ons. IME the wildest ones are those aged 25 - 35. They've been the ones most confident about expressing their sexual desires, be it filming oozing creampies, role play, BDSM, erotic asphyxiation, breast slapping, clit pinching, double penetration, verbal abuse, whatever. A few have been forthright from the start, but most others it's an evolution. There are many reasons why, from confidence gained through past sexual experience to exposure to porn that normalises that what would have been inconceivable. I think the older ones are a bit more conservative than their younger sisters (or daughters); they certainly weren't exposed to porn at a young age.

I have not come across an older woman who has been sexually dormant for years and who on the first go completely lets loose with reckless abandon full-on freak. It's a two step process. Firstly, get her to adjust her perceptions and expectations; there's no need for her to sit idly by waiting for her dream man to fall from the sky. Once she accepts reality and decides that having a fubu arrangement is OK, then the second step is to make it a comfortable situation where she'll express what she wants. At the start it may be something as vanilla (from our perception) as fucking in the shower, but for her this is significant milestone because she's allowed herself to express a sexual desire. A lot of women have an enormous hang up of being judged, so don't be dismissive or disappointed. It's OK for her to baby step it to establish trust and build her own confidence.

Understand that at the start there may exist a mismatch of expectations. You want a woman who's ready to dial it up to an 11, say be letting you fuck her ass whilst you choke her, but she's at a 2. Trust me, she'll dial it up if you're affirmative and supportive. Remember what feminism teaches us: women exist to please men. Haha. Kidding aside, there is a bit a truth here. If a fubu is comfortable and content, she's eager to please you.

Understand that at the start there may exist a mismatch of expectations. BGs excluded, this could not be more true. I can't count the number of girls (20-25) who've stepped through my door as shy, demure and angelic, and have left (after 2-3 visits) as my own personal porn star.

The very best feeling I get is when a girl who has previously been conservative drops me a whatsapp to say "hey next time we're together can we try <insert deviance here>". Takes patience and consideration, but it really is it's own reward.

Hi all,

I will be heading to Manila next month.

Can someone tell me how far Makati is from EDSA? Also where exactly is EDSA?

I will most probably stay at Makati as I stayed there for a couple of nights the one and only other time I went, and it seemed OK.

Where are good places in Makati to look for girls, both BGs and regular girls?

For BGs, what's the average prices these days?

There was a couple of places I went to last time. One was LA Cafe which I believe is still there, and the other was not far, maybe 5-10 minutes walk. Any idea what this second place I'm thinking of is?

Thanks,

Found myself alone in a hotel in Pasay recently, so of course I hit up Badoo and starting inviting girls over. A few flakey responses, one early 20-something with great tits stopped responding, then found myself an early 30-something cutie who was close by and agreed to come over. She turned out to be a real sweetie, I caught her on her day off work and ended up spending the day with her. Money never discussed or asked for, although she had no problem adding extra items to my shopping basket in the various shops we went to. For example, I was in 7 Eleven buying water as there is never enough in the hotel room, and she proceeded to add a half dozen chocolate bars and other bits and pieces to my basket. Cost was inconsequential, I put it down to some kind of cultural difference that I did not understand.

She kept talking about wanting to drive, which eventually I understood to be her riding me. No problem dear, just suck me for awhile first then you can drive all you like. Seems she could only cum when driving, although she had no idea what her G spot was when I asked. Perhaps some future education is required. Slipped her 2500 for taxi money on the way out.

Next morning feeling like a change and wanting to try something new, I called over a very pregnant girl from CL. Said she was carrying the baby of some guy in the USA who does not know she is pregnant. Massive titties which oiled up nicely and 8 months pregnant, I was channeling Westy and his pregnant girls from the picture gallery while pounding her from behind. Decided to finish in her mouth for the visual effects and then sent her on her way with some cash for her efforts before she could start having contractions in my room!Good story, well done. Must try craiglist myself next time.

P.S.; I admire that she asks and that online westerns can be her source of income, it's just not what I'm seeking online.Yeah this is a good observation and something I haven't thought on for a while. A great reminder. Be aware mostly the pinays are answering or texting "how are you", "have you eaten already", "did you have lunch" as in short nonsense texts. If the msg contains more than 10 words better start pay attention as a problem aka hidden moneyrequest is on the rise.

"No." It blows their minds. Boom! Shut down. I suppose they're so accustomed to some fella answering "Sure, what is it?" that they have no other rhetorical skills to get what they want.

That's my MO too. It's a crazy habit that all filipinos always ask first if they can ask you a question, and it's not always about money.

The last time this happened I said "Yes as long as you don't ask me for money" and she laughed and said "Oh No I just wondered if you'd mind if I asked what is your job?

Too polite for words.

Too polite for words.Had a few chat spells on Badoo recently with pinays in HK (prior to nailing a few of course, TR posted) and it was guaranteed after about 15 minutes of chat that I would get the " can I ask you a question? ".

I would reply giving marital status, age of kids (all bogus of course) and they would all reply " how did you know I was going to ask that ".

Intuition honey, plus 30 plus years of dealing with you and your sisters.

To celebrate my 400th post, I'm going to head to Manila this weekend and misbehave.

I know that Tiger Air, Cebu Pacific, Phillipines and Singapore air all fly DIRECT between Singapore and Manila, am I missing any other carriers?

Gentlemen, I am well versed in the AC scene however I have an 8 hour layover in MNL on a US-HKG flight. Its been years since I've spent a night in MNL. Any suggestions on a hotel near airport and more so a venue for a good quick schtup? Thanks in advance.

Waffles.I guess it depends what terminal you're going through but I guess the closest hotels are the ones in Resorts World (all in front of terminal 2).

Usually when I have a short layover in MNL (3-6 hrs) I head to AF1 (Flight168) for a quickie, usually 1. 5 hours should be enough in the venue. The rest of the time is usually slent on commute and food. Can't see how an 8 HR layover that includes a session also requires a hotel room, but to each his own, I guess.

Enjoy,

Dave.

Yes, go to Air Force 1 like Dave says. It is a little pricey but there are some cuties in there.

Technical my layover is 11 hours and 15 minutes however the 8 hours=out of airport time. I'm old and don't relish two consecutive nights without a bed. I'm arriving on United Terminal 1 and departing China Air which I believe is Terminal 1 as well. I got a week of shit work in HKG and Shenzhen which are IMHO useless venues and I've been in the GWL far too long. I do have a week of I&I scheduled on the return in AC, thank you God. I'm ignorant of anything Manila and NAIA Airport and appreciate all support.

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/7843896?checkin=06%2F10%2F2017&checkout=06%2F17%2F2017&guests=2&adults=2&s=erie2uB5

That boasts "Studio Across the Airport T3", and is $30/ night. Easy to book, use, and walk away from. The airbnb map shows it about 1/4 mile from the airport. There are a bunch like this.

You can f a girl, then take a shower and sleep in the room. It might cost you a few extra P, but who cares. It sounds like you only need a few extra hours. They have a bar in the place, and can order in food. Much easier than checking into a hotel. Will be a fun time.
