Manila is always a ghost town on Thursday and Friday of Holy Week and as I look out my condo window the streets are deserted.

If you touch down at 7:30 (delays likely and schedules rarely met) and you get out of the airport with luggage at 8:30, you could be in Angeles by 10:30 which would give you plenty of time to hit Walking Street if you were'nt too exhausted. Then you could rest / part all of Saturday, and leave Angeles on Sunday afternoon in time to get back to your hotel in Manila. It is doable, but tiring, If you decide to do this, I'd recommend arranging a car to Angeles before the fact to ensure that a driver meets you outside and you don't waste time.
Alternatively, if you do get out of the door at 8:30, you could be on Burgos, at Edsa, at Havana or elsewhere by 9:30 and in bed with a SWT by 10:30 or 11, and then repeat the next day and again on Sunday, so much less tiring and more shagging time.

But it is a bit tempting as the reviews seems much better for AC than Makati or Malate.
There is a wealth of information on the this thread about the cities and places and a RTFF does help and is actively encouraged for all, even I RTFF when am in a new place (where I am very soon in the CIS part of this world).

The Philippines thread is one of the best, has loads of great information and all your questions can be answered via RTFF and then maybe PM a few seniors with specific questions.
For examples look for Asterfero on the UAE board or Loso69 Asian contributions. Both did RTFF both do great FRs and both contact me with questions based on RTFF before writing a very good FR (s).

You might want to check that out.Even without late checkout, most hotels will hold your luggage in a secure room near the front desk. Some may stipulate a fee but others will simply appreciate a tip when you pick up the bags (50 or 100 pisos, depending on the quality of the hotel and your generosity). So then the only complication is whether your hotel is anywhere near the location of your horizontal recreation. Some parts of town have short-time hotel rooms, although Dg's suggestion eliminates some of this cost, assuming your pickup location for a p4 p and the hotel are near each other.
There is always action available at LAC, but quality may vary.

I don't think Havana girls are any better than LAC girls unless you like older ladies; but because they do their business in Makati, they are a lot more expensive. Keep your eyes out for the occasional transvestite. I've walked through the open area several times and never saw anything that caught my eye. I've only been to LAC a couple of times. It is hit and miss there, but the pretty young girls gravitated towards the Koreans. If you have money to spend, you can find better girls at EDSA and Burgos. Not much difference in girl quality between the two but EDSA is cheaper and closer to you. EDSA is 2000 to the bar and 2000-3500ST, 4000 LT to the girl. I think the Burgos girls ask for the same amount, but the bar fine is a lot more (3000-4000?). I never ask for LT, the girl would probably pull a runner and I prefer to sleep alone.

I arrived night of May 1st around 9:30 pm at terminal 1. I got to immigration in a few minutes and the lines were 10 deep. It seemed like a plane with Chinese tourists had just arrived too. So it is true that staffing has been cut way back and no more overtime allowed.
On my way to a taxi there where no white taxis in, line so I went to the yellow taxi line. Yellow taxis charge more and I didn't see a meter working on the way to my hotel. Traffic was very light and at the hotel he magically pulled up 270 pesos on the meter. I laughed and said it is usually 150 and paid him 200. He chuckled and knew he was busted and gladly accepted 200.
The past few days I have been using Grab cars and absolutely loved them as the price is fixed and their clean cars arrive in a few minutes. There is absolutely no hassles! It is a great feeling to walk past 5 taxis lined up for customers and leaving them behind for a Grab car. Grab is the way to go now for me. The Grab app is available more readily now using your cell phone data.

There were a couple of women in the mix that just did not know when to quit and should have retired long ago. There were also 2 or 3 standouts who I believe every member on this board would have had a go at and plenty of good choices in between. I thought one spinner was close to jaw dropping but I might be easily impressed. As an aside, I really liked staying in Makati. The last time I was in Manila I stayed in Makati, since I wanted an upscale environment. The environment was fine, but the selection of girls was not very good and I didn't like the Burgos Street bars. I haven't met many women like this one. She's a smart Univ of Philippines graduate, sings and writes music, is open-minded and curious, and is into adventure sports like climbing and kayaking. Thanks!Find a cheap hotel / hostel in the area of your regular hotel. Taxi there (much less traffic at 4 am) and crash, sleep till 10 am and then taxi to your regular hotel. I assume that you can't get into your regular hotel / condo till the afternoon, waiting in the airport till sunrise won't help?

You could call and ask if an early check in is okay. This occasionally works. If they have a vacant room it would seem like a win win situation. You get some sleep, and they have one less person checking in during the peak period.
A bit off topic, but the America Hotel in Angeles City offers a guarantee 24 hour stay. The time you arrive is the starting point. It's an interesting concept.

Thanks!I think this might be a good option for you. Go to a short time hotel chain like Hotel Sogo and rent the room for twelve hours since your room probably won't be ready until the afternoon. After a long flight, you can relax and wake up when you want instead of a regular hotel where you would have to check out by 11 am or noon. If you are close to LA Cafe, you can even wake up around noon and bring a freelancer back before you check out.

Educated Filipinas, from solid families aren't really all that anxious to jump into bed with white guys old enough to be their fathers or, in some cases grandfathers, and they have no financial imperative to do so. Putting out an ad on FaceBook or one of the other social media, being clear about your target population might work for slightly more down market Filipinas who are still a cut above bar girls, but likely not for most others. Such ads might yield a call center agent or two, or a sales clerk, but I think that's about all. Most folks who come here as tourists have neither the time and probably not the inclination, to identify and meet professional (not sex professional) women, and many truly upper crust families might not welcome foreign boyfriends.

There is a pedestrian overpass that allows you to cross over the busy highway and get to EDSA Entertainment in 10-12 minutes. But as others have said, it is becoming run down. Look into Midas Casino which is also within walking distance; if it is within $20 of Heritage, I'd go with that. It also has an ATM for your bar fining experience. With Heritage, you have to walk about 5 minutes in the opposite direction for an ATM.
Both hotels are in close proximity to Mall of Asia.

Heritage always asked for the girls ID and would hold it until she leaves. There is a pedestrian overpass that allows you to cross over the busy highway and get to EDSA Entertainment in 10-12 minutes. But as others have said, it is becoming run down. Look into Midas Casino which is also within walking distance; if it is within $20 of Heritage, I'd go with that. It also has an ATM for your bar fining experience. With Heritage, you have to walk about 5 minutes in the opposite direction for an ATM.
Both hotels are in close proximity to Mall of Asia.
Disclaimer. I've never stayed at Midas but all the girls recommend it over Heritage.Just about to book Hotel 101. Anyone had experience there? Is it girls friendly?

Reached manila around 11 . Taxi to malate and in the hotel. 12 all ready to rock.

I cannot access Backpage out of the US (from the US) for anything, not just the adult section. In fact, I was trying to get onto Backpage to look for a short term rental apartment in Rio de Janeiro, not sex (why would anyone who knows anything about Rio use BP for sex?)
Yes, I know they closed the escort section in early 2017. But if I want someone to rent me a room in Shanghai or to sell me furniture in Lima, I cannot access the local site. Just returned from a lovely trip to Taiwan and Japan.
Both Taipei and Tokyo are large and congested metropolises, but relatively civilized. Traffic is quite heavy, but orderly. No wild motorcycles (or habal habal) zooming in and out of all lanes, even the wrong way down one-way lanes. No pedestrians thinking that they own all of the land, and are entitled to jaywalk anywhere they please and stop traffic by just holding up a palm (or else, just ignore vehicles zooming by).
Then, back to the Phils.
Landed NAIA 2 and my suitcase, which was clearly marked with a Priority tag, was one of the last to come out on the PAL luggage conveyor belt. Arranged for domestic transfer to Cebu, and checked in to the domestic terminal upstairs and then the Mabuhay lounge After awhile, asked the PAL Mabuhay desk gal what time my flight to Cebu was boarding. Her reply: "15 more minutes, sir. " Headed out to the boarding gate and found that Gate 12 is actually a bus gate, at which at least two other flights were stacked up. Sheer pandemonium. Snagged a plastic seat near the gate, and waited about an hour. No announcements for my flight.
Finally, pushed my way through to the Priority boarding lane, and was told by PAL gate staff that my flight to Cebu would be boarding "soon". About 15 minutes later, repeated this process, and was told that the Cebu flight was "already boarding", of course without any announcements. The boarding lane actually was clogged with passengers for the flight to Caticlan, which had been delayed even more.
The PAL ground staff was harried and flustered, and apparently, making a PA announcement that the Cebu flight was now boarding, or that the Caticlan flight was delayed and asking the Caticlan passengers to give way to the Cebu passengers who needed to board their flight, was beyond the PAL gate staff's capabilities. Pushed my way through the needless congestion and confusion and made my way down several flights of stairs to a bus, which took me to the Cebu flight. Boarded the plane, to find that only a few seats were occupied, which was odd considering I had been told that the flight was fully booked.
On board, shortly heard two successive PA announcements. The first, that "a few more passengers" still needed to board so we would be delayed further. Apparently, none of the regular coach passengers had got the message that the Cebu flight was boarding, and were still lined up at the boarding gate. Maybe 90% of the plane had not yet boarded. The second PA announcement was that the plane's AC had malfunctioned, and to please "bear with us".
After another hour and a half, most of the passengers finally had boarded. The heat on board was stultifying. Then, one of the last passengers to board apparently had a boarding pass with the same seat number as mine. Flight attendant asked for my boarding pass and disappeared for 15 minutes. Finally she came back and asked me to remove my hand carried bag from the overhead bin and change seats.
The PAL flight finally took off, more than 3+ hours late. Blessedly, the AC finally came on once we had reached altitude. When we landed in Cebu, my checked luggage, now with a large yellow "Domestic Transfer" tag in additional to the Priority tag, didn't come out until late in the second tranche. Of course, after all the many large, non-Priority, balikbayan boxes.
Cebu Mactan was another madhouse. But, that's another story.
Am starting to get on in years, and after decades of mongering, the immediate pressures for sex seem rather less pressing (maybe since generally am getting sex daily anyway), and other simple creature comforts become rather more important.

P.S. For what it's worth, Air Asia and Cebu Pacific are usually even worse than PAL, with horrendous daily delays, especially on domestic flights through Manila. Manila NAIA is a madhouse and, reportedly, has been rated one of the worst airports in the world. I believe it.
I just recently visited EDSA and was told by the mamasan that the barfine has increased from 1,950 pesos to 2, 500. This new price only applies to asian customers like Korean and Japanese. Does not effect us white mongers which I'm glad. This started from June 1. I'm surprised with the increase bcoz during May most bars were dead quiet cannot see the logic.

Of course, 90% of the "girls" then evaporate. But I have met a few, and generally 2/3 k per bang seems adequate.
There is the type of girl who goes for the "hail mary" and asks for some obscenely high number. H.I'm not sure if you are familiar with the locale of Manila and QC; you probably are. In case you are not, EDSA Entertainment is quite a ways from QC in traffic, as is Makati. There are not too many reports about QC here, and you must be careful about going into a local bar and assuming the girls are available for take out. There are a couple of Massage Spas available in the area, including The Kremlin, that you might want to check out during the day.
I'd stay away from the escort service; they are priced for suckers who don't know any better, pictures are not updated, and the bait and switch happens a lot. EDSA is about php2000 to the bar and 2500-3000ST to the girl, or 3500-4000 LT if you can get it. If you have a choice in location, stay in Makati or Pasay instead of QC.

Grab has a kiosk on the middle median to the left as you come out of T3. I saw many Filipino customers lining up for Grab. I used my app and had my car within 3 minutes there.
In other parts of Manila I saw hungry empty taxis circling for fares. I guess their bad reputation and operation has caught up with them. I feel bad for the decent taxi drivers but they may need to join Uber or Grab.

Long lines for all modes of taxis (white, yellow and coupon) with very few taxis joining the line intermittently, and the surge prices for Uber and Grab were off the scale because they simply couldn't get into the terminal.

I walked about for a minute watching the queues, ignoring the p1200 touts. I walked over to the white taxi line, which was long and wrapping, but it appeared 10 minutes wait or more. I hollered at a p1200 tout guy and said 700 to the Makati Century mall area. He jumped on that and ushered me to a waiting car. He opened the door to the car and there were 2 other gents already inside. I declined, telling him that 700 gets me my own vehicle. A moment later he had an empty vehicle for me. There were also lines for the coupon taxis (p440 to my destination). The extra 260 ($5) I paid for the vehicle over the coupon taxi was worth not waiting in the heat. While congestion existed at the airport, troppik was light and I was at my condo 20 minutes later.
The problem of lack of taxis around prime time like 5 pm - 8 pm anywhere may have been alleviated but not eliminated. This is true anywhere around world I. E. New York City.
I remember a few years ago coming out of SM Mega Mall around 6:30 pm on a Saturday, the wait in line was over 2 hours outside. The 15 minute ride to my hotel was over one hour.

Flew into T3 last week around 2:30 pm. Taxis are no longer a problem. No lines for taxis. White and yellow taxis circling for customers. Apparently Uber and Grab have taken a huge market share from them.
Thank f*! At for Uber. They have revolutionised the transport infrastructure in Manila (and many other places in the world) and forced taxi companies to improve their fleets and level of service to remain competitive. Whether Manila based taxi businesses can keep up and invest in upgrading their rolling stock, I very much doubt and I can see many going out of business. But I don't think many will mourn the passing of the familiar tired old Manila cab with its bone rattling, shot suspension, dodgy air-con and devious, thieving drivers always looking to squeeze an extra buck or two from jet lagged, frazzled travellers.

If you also install Grab, you can go to the CR while Squeeze A is preparing to leave while to arrange delivery of Squeeze be. Until teleportation is a thing, there's no more efficient way. Just like Amazon vs brick-and-mortar retail, the selection online is incomparably better than in any local hotspots. Bars, clubs, malls, etc. Will remain for the "atmosphere" and "experience" or catering to those avoiding electronic tracks.
Some girls think the Grab cars are my private cars and drivers. They never see me book them on the cell phone, they just see me looking at the text and whoa my car and driver is there. Also they never see me pay the driver.
It is great thing to order a car to pick up or drop off the girl (s).
I use Grab exclusively in Angeles now. No more trikes if I can avoid them.

Hello all,
I have a Phils trip planned for next weekend. I will land late Friday night and will be there for 5 days. I did the RTFF, and the plan to is stay in Jen Manila hotel. I chose this due to being near to the remits and ESDA both. I should have at least three days to myself and have been chatting up the babes on pinalove. Have shortlisted some 8-9 for video chat and then will finalise who to bring over for interview in person I am an Asian and pretty fit, in early forties. I love going to the clubs and having Good time there.
My plan is to go to ESDA on Friday so that I do not trouble my jetlagged body and enjoy the fruits directly.
Valkyrie on schedule for Saturday.
And then wander around the city on sat and try to pull some cuties from the malls. I plan to go to the usual venue in makati and ESDA areas.

I'm back from a long Philippines trip and just getting caught up with my reports. I had a long list of GF types to see from DIA and Pinalove so didn't expect to spend any time in bars. I arrived late at night at my room at the Rothman Hotel in Ermita because it was convenient for a meeting the next day. It has been 5 years since I was in Ermita last. Unable to sleep, I decided to wander around the old haunts. I had a beer at G-Point to check in the scene. There was some cute FLers there that might have appealed to me on a night that I was less jet-lagged. I made the short walk to LA Cafe to have another beer and planned to head on to bed after. I am glad you had a good experience Dg and I have also noticed a definite improvement in taxi services in all terminals (which I regularly use) but I would caution other potential arrivees that Dg's experience on one day at 2. 30 pm is not necessarily generalizable.
I came in last Friday at around 6. 30 pm and it was an absolute clusterfuck at T3.
Long lines for all modes of taxis (white, yellow and coupon) with very few taxis joining the line intermittently, and the surge prices for Uber and Grab were off the scale because they simply couldn't get into the terminal.
It might have been the usual Friday jam or another unusual circumstance but I would suggest that Dg's comment that "Taxis are no longer a problem. No lines for taxis. . Last weekend, I was in Manila. Some work and some pleasure. Airport was a breeze in comparison to long queues at immigration and taxi's etc.
First night, I went to the Guilly's club and it was quite busy and happening with lot of local talent. Decided to not pick up anyone there and went back to hotel after spending good 3-4 hours enjoying my drinks. Next night, it was LAC. Nothing much on offer there. Waste of time. Met another guy, and we together decided to go to Royal club in Makati. This is decent small, but on this night, it was pretty dull. Anyways picked one up and back to hotel for the usual stuff. No bar fine, just pay to the girl, like any other clubs. Place is quite chilled out and got some space to mingle and dance.
Next 3 nights busy with work. Last night to EDSA. First cotton club, very very dull, with nothing good on offer. Firehouse was on fire literally, with several hotties. Picked one and back to hotel. Bar fine and 4 k to girl. Pretty hot and sexy. No pics allowed by girls and I did not push.

I stay at the Pavilion hotel at United nation ave last Oct. Own by waterfront hotel with casino inside the hotel, I got a poker room rate 48 usd a night this is a new hotel room is large not as nice as Hyatt or the pan pacific but I got a very good deal for the poker tournament only 10 min walk to ocean park.

My first night in Manila and didn't get checked in until late. Staying in Alabang, which is a long way from the action, but at least at midnight there isn't much traffic. Couldn't get a Grab, so took a taxi to EDSA. Tried to rip me off with a 700 quote, dropped it to 300 when I opened the door to leave. Got to EDSA at about 12:30 am, but it was pretty dead. Went into 4 or 5 of the bars, and the busiest one had 3 or 4 other guys in it. A couple had no one in there. One of the girls said that long weekends were more family time, keeping the menfolk away. So, at least I had the pick of girls (there were at least a dozen in each bar! But decided just to have a look see this time.
Had a beer and sat with (and bought drinks for) a girl or two at Firehouse, Cotton Club and Pitstop. Maybe it was just the girls I picked, but the mamasans were more fun and interactive than the girls. English was a bit limited for the younger ones. The most fun and best English was the first girl at Firehouse. She was older at 33 (she said) with a pretty face but a bit chunkier than I like. The others were 20,22, and 25 - slim, petite with nice natural tits. Had a really good time in LA Cafe last night. Arrived about 11:00 pm. Not sure why folks feel it is in a dodgy area, because there are fancy shops only a block away on the main drag. Anyway, lots of loud music and girls around, although it is a huge place and it wasn't all that crowded. I sat and watched all the girls for a while, shooing off the approaching ones, who tend to be the oldest / plainest. The quality ranged from 3 to 7 out of ten, with an occasional 8 (they were usually with others). I looked for one that might be fun and friendly. One kept smiling at me, but she was a bit slim for my taste, so I didn't have her stay.

My last night in Manila and I headed over to Cafe Havana. My Grab car (what a great service!) dropped me off at Greenbelt 3, headed across the mall, and found it right away, near Starbucks just as described. I was there at 8:30 pm and had some dinner. Quite good food. And had a couple of beer before the ladies started arriving. I wanted to make it an early night, so I didn't wait too long before a gorgeous girl sat at the next table. A smile and brief chat later we headed back to my hotel. Gretel was 24 and was very pretty with bleached blonde hair and a tight petite body (I would rate her an 8). I was worried she was too pretty for good service, but she seemed very friendly, and she ended up being excellent. DFK, lots of positions (my fave being doggie) and a top-ten BBBJ. I hit EDSA Entertainment for the last two nights, midnight on a Friday and 8 pm on a Saturday. The owner is putting money into the complex. The outside has been changed and the neon lights removed. Space Girls has been redone already and now is a Japanese-oriented Hostess Bar. The girls are made up in Japanese style and attire. A couple of them are pretty cute with clothes on (no bikinis here, no dancing). They have a live band that starts around 9 but I didn't stick around for that. Bar fines are still php2000.
The private VIP room upstairs is next for an update and will become a new bar. I heard that every bar will get a makeover.
The girls have gotten fatter. On Friday, I found a cute one in Cotton Club but she was "sick" and couldn't be bar fined. I found another in Bullets and Arrows but she had never been barfined and didn't seem too keen on the idea, at least not with me. Firehouse and Pit Stop were my "go to" bars in the past but they had nothing to offer. I walked out alone around 2 am and made a booty call to a girl I've known for a couple of years so the night did end up with a bang.
I returned Saturday just after opening, hoping the cute girls had already been claimed when I was there the previous night. There is a new complex that has opened right beside EDSA Entertainment; I forgot the name, but it is something Club. As of now there is at least one open bar and another will be open upstairs soon. Thanks for the recommendation! I have done Heritage a few times, but hate the stairs over EDSA to the EDSA complex. I just made a reservation at Midas for my Feb. 2018 trip.They didn't ask to see girls' ID which can be good or bad; you can just walk on in with her. And having an ATM on premises helps out on those nights when I'm just 1000 pesos short on my date. Taxis will still charge 100-200 php to take you and the girl to the hotel, though.
I don't miss walking past the stink-wall and getting harassed by the bike buggy on the walk from Heritage, LOL. But I do miss staring at the lovely evening and morning hostesses at the breakfast area.

There's a few decent places to eat and what I consider good live music on Makati ave in an open food court / market.

I thing you mean Fort Bonifacio this is a new area east of Makati about 15 min taxi many new restaurant and condo and a few night club and disco, mostly pinay out have a good time not a good place to pick up pro, there are some young expat go there for fun just ask taxi to take you there you don't need to know where on the map if you don't plan to walk there from Ayala mall.

Made a quick trip to Manila. Thanks to the contributors on this board who helped me make the most of it! I stayed in Pasay, and spent my brief time at three locations: Mall of Asia, Flight 168 SPA, and Cotton Club (EDSCA Entertainment complex).
My amendments to what already has been stated:
Use the Grab app to get around. Very low prices (2 or three bucks got me to most places). Such an improvement over the taxi lines and uncertain costs.
Go Early! I hit Flight 168 and EDSA both right after they opened. I had a big selection at both places, and both offered some discounts.
Flight 168: I arrived around 12:30 PM. 20+ girls available, and the rooms were discounted. I paid 2000 for "business class" which offered a decently sized room with private shower. Girls were also 2000. Other reports detail entering the building, going up into a lobby and then down into Flight 168. Perhaps it was because I arrived before the club (Airforce One) was open, but I was able to enter directly in SPA 168, I spent a hour with an attractive petite 25 year old. BBBJ, CFS, good conversation.
After 168, I stopped by Mall of Asia to see if I could find a semi pro for later in the day, or at least get lunch. I was in manila about 25 years ago and now I come again next month.
I remember me there ware some streets in the old city center, not far from Rizal Park if I remember me.
Whit bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. And a lot of amusement.
Do this area still existe?I see you have posted various field reports in the Indonesian and other boards, so I'm willing to offer some answers. The "really old" city center is Intramuros, the old Spanish city, just north of Rizal Park. A few historic sites here that survived WWII bombing, but not a neighborhood for mongering.
But you may be referring to Ermita, which extends just south of Rizal Park to Pedro Gil, a street which is the boundary between Ermita and Malate. Ermita is a red light district, although the number of viable bars vascillates over time. Best known is LA Cafe, a club in which freelancers usually outnumber mongers. It's open 24 hours, seven days a week. The quality varies from time to time, as suggested in the many field reports that have been posted about it, but there are p4 ps available almost anytime you arrive. I have only been there once recently and found numerous women and a wide range of qualities, although many of the more attractive seem to hold out for Korean mongers, who, according to some of the girls, pay more and don't last as long.
Another nearby club, a little less target-rich than LAC, is G-Point. The freelancers here are usually a little older and less aggressive in pursuing customers. There are other smaller bars in the area that sometimes have some freelancers and a few nearby KTVs where prices are higher and prospects for takeout vary. During the day some guys find freelancers in nearby Robinsons Place Mall. In times past these women hung out at the edges of Starbucks and at tables near the outer edges of other eateries. These encounters start with a promising smile from the woman, and, if she is within earshot, "Hello, sir. " Regular Filipinas not in the trade do not greet strange foreigners in this way. To get the lay of the land (figuratively) use Googlemaps or GoogleEarth and search for LA Cafe, Ermita, Manila. Once the search engine gets you into the neighborhood look for businesses that are marked with cocktail glasses in both search engines. There are a couple four-star hotels and a handful of three star places that are accustomed to mongers. All are girlfriendly. Some have their own websites, and most that are three stars or better are also shown in Agoda and other similar lodging sites.

Not much challenge picking up a girl in a dedicated monger environment. And since I was teen, I always wanted to pick up a strange girl at a shopping mall and take her off for sex. This sounds like a great way to check that off the list. Is it fair to say you would be dealing with a less professional or jaded type of girl at a Manila mall? Something like what the Germans call a "Hobby Hure"?
