I tried the pay as you go scheme in Manila my first trip and after living in Bangkok for 30 plus years found it very boring.

In case anyone is interested. Ended up with a Mi 6 A (US90 China version) and Android One A2 (on clearance around US170). Great specs for the price 3 GB RAM and 32 GB+ storage. Problem is not as many bands as the Moto. A2 does not have an external SD and does not support exfat. But it does have a 20 Megapixel camera. Mobile antenna pickup a little weak on both. And missing some small features. But nice that they can double as TV remotes. You really cannot beat the value you get for the price. Not too difficult to turn a China version 6 A to an International version.

Well, it goes both ways, in a way. Don't think it effects the phones out there already. Also, the China version 6 A had the Google stuff banned already, hence cheaper. (I hear a lot of Google stuff is blocked in China) But easy to put Google stuff on to upgrade to international version. I think it is a US10-20 price cheaper for the China version. For me, I am not sure saving the money was worth the extra taps on the phone and the time spent Googling.

The Mi A2 Android One phone was off US internet and an international version. I just clicked on buy when I noticed that it was like US30 cheaper than the nearest competitor. I didn't bother to see if there was a China version to save even more. The next cheapest was a Moto / Lenovo, a China company.

The last I checked, I think luckily my cotton shirts were from Bangladash or SriLanka. Likewise for my sneakers. So I won't be totally naked.

I am also not sure, but the news was saying the problem is not Android, as it is open source, but the App Store and something else. I assume one could buy the hardware and install the software yourself? Kind of like a dual boot MAC / Windoz? Better late than never. Wanted to get this review out before it gets too dated. Visited Manila and late part of February this year for a week.

Where did I stay?

I stayed in an bnb for 2 days (closer to Greenbelt1 and very walkable to Havana). Just lookup in the greenbelt area (it says Trassiera). Clearly says guests are allowed and the security is pretty easy going!. Bed is not super great so I decided to move and went to New World (great hotel right across Havanas) and then to Makati residences (again not too far) for the reminder of the group. New world and Makati are not if you are on budget and was easily costing around 130 USD a day. However, with New World and Makati, I was able to attract and retain talent much more easily (more on this later).

The Game.

First and foremost, if you can't hunt in Manila, you really have to question your capabilities. You don't need to be a well-built dude to hunt here. Being a foreigner gets you extra points everywhere. You from US? Even better. Caucasian still is top of the food chain. Japs and Koreans are considered primarily as dollar source. I hunted primarily from 3 places. Tinder, Facebook and Smooci and all of them were successful (pretty much close to 100 percent0 with the best GF types coming from FB.

Day 1 - Landed on day 1 - got my SIM card in airport (may have slightly overdone it -but took a 40 dollar package that will allow tethering as well). I'm interested to know about others' recent experiences at NAIA 3. I arrived about 8 pm on May 9th and found the area beyond customs comparatively crowded with those arriving and others presumably waiting for them. In other recent trips I have walked across the several driveways / roadways and gotten a regular white cab at the furthest roadway--with no waiting, no fuss, except for occasional drivers who don't want to use the meter. Prior to white cabs being allowed at the terminals, I usually took the yellow airport taxis, with little waiting and without drivers trying to bargain around the meter.

Now the regular cabs have been moved to bay 12, and still out at the furthest roadway. A long line of at least 200 cab seekers was on the other side, with the line backed up way under the skyway. Forget it. So I went looking for yellow airport cabs, which are only a little more expensive than regular cabs but better maintained. Again, long, long lines. I don't ever remember lines that long, not at any of the terminals within the last three or four years. I finally settled for the more high-priced coupon cabs, and even then had to wait in line about 20 minutes. There were also long lines waiting for Grab.

I asked the driver why the taxi lines were so long, and he suggested that there were a lot of late arriving planes. But the lines for taxis were disproportionately long relative to the crowds inside, so it seemed more like a bottleneck situation.

Departing on the morning of the 29th I encountered a different kind of bottleneck getting into the terminal. Previously it was sufficient to arrive two hours before departure. Not this time. Long, long lines trying to get through the two entry door security checkpoints. (These outside security checkpoints are so ineffectual that their only apparent utility is for the cab-driver-and-security-agent-collaborators who worked the old "bullets in the luggage" bribe game.) I did notice a lot of porters in purple / burgundy outfits offering to help people bypass the usual lines--presumably for a fee. I was getting a little nervous when I was still in line outside the terminal at 75 minutes before flight time. There were signs near the entry doors indicating that senior citizens and "persons with disabilities" could bypass the line, so I asked a nearby porter whether this applied to foreign senior citizens as well. "No, only Filipinos. " But he asked if I was alone, and since I was, he whisked me past the line. I moved quickly to get my bags onto the conveyor, and when I looked back he was gone before I could tip him.

Inside there were no long lines at any of the airline ticket counters, so this was a specific kind of bottleneck that could have been solved by opening a third and / or fourth entry door. I should note there were also long lines to get through the three or four metal detector security checkpoints between ticketing and the departure gates, but these lines were moving fairly quickly.

WTF is going on with terminal 3? Are other people experiencing these same clusterfucks? Any advice for avoiding these bottlenecks other than paying the porters and pre-arranging drivers to pick you up on the arrival level?

T3 has always been swamped. Over the past year or so a few more International carriers have relocated to T3 from T1. Huge crowds form from outgoing and incoming Filipino OFW's, along with sendoff or welcoming families.

A few years ago there were very long lines of awaiting taxi passengers with no taxis in sight. Now there are some lines of taxis. I guess this is an improvement!

Your best bet to enter T3 and bypass the x-ray line is to use the porters. I use the porters all the time. Not only do they bypass the long lines they take me directly to the senior citizen check in counter. Usually there is only 2 or 3 in line.

I tip the porters 100-200 pesos. Some times I slip the gate keeper at the senior check in 50 pesos.

It is strange but most people don't mind you cutting in line with the porter, they are kind of happy that the porter will be getting a tip. They graciously let the porter in from of them. Same with the check in people.

Arrival is a different story. You can go to Bay 13-14 and hop on the Resort World shuttle bus and get dropped off at one of the hotels and get a taxi from there. Last month I used the Resort World shuttle and got off at the first stop, Belmont Hotel, used the Grab app and got a car within 5 minutes.

You didn't say where you were going to from the airport. It might help to know that.

What I do dislike are the large number of people meeting friends and family as this just adds to the overall throng of people in the terminal. You can't stop it but why do some bring lola, lolo and all 15 relatives for one person and then stand and greet them etc thus holding up others at times who are trying to get out. This happened a lot in some Middle East airport but there was stopped when kids actually ran into the arrival hall area when the doors opened. And then the parents followed!

Tipping suggestions are helpful; 200 php is not a lot of money for anybody who can afford to travel to and from the Phils. It strikes me that average Filipinos don't think in terms of large tips, to cabbies, waiters, porters, or anybody else, and then they extend a sort of class deference to foreigners who do give comparatively large tips--by Filipino standards. It's the same sort of class deference that leads Filipinos to keep re-electing the same families to national office, as though only a small group of wealthy families are capable of performing these duties.

Last two trips I had a condo near SM Manila. Both times the taxis, one regular, one coupon, took me down Roxas Blvd. and crossed over to Taft at Luneta Park. The taxi travel time was not bad at all. I guess I was spoiled my last time in via PAL from San Francisco in November. Arrival at 4 am and departure at 9 pm, thus missing the worst of the crowds at T3. Perhaps PAL has the luxury of planning around NAIA traffic, especially for flights that cross the International Date Line.

Nazgyl.Kind of depends on how much rain. Rainy season is typhoon season, so a typhoon will affect the girls yes. And heavy rains will effect the girls also, but more so in Manila. In AC I wouldn't worry about the rain too much (unless you melt with water) there are so many girls, and there for sure will be enough to go around, yes the numbers may be a little less, buy you may not even notice. In Manila, heavy rains will effect the girls, as they don't have a good water drainage system there, and the streets / roads will get flooded hindering transportation. There is good and bad with that, depending where the girls are stranded it could also work to your favor, as the last heavy rain stranded many girls at work. Attempt to write an unbiased report on my recent trip to MNL.

NIThis is VERY do able. Cebu City has everything from sleazy bars on Mango Ave to high end discos and clubs where you can try your Game / luck. It also has what I consider the best online action in all of PI.

Some OKish beaches around town and some very nice places within a couple hours day trip or overnighter. BYO is easiest but again, many are there online. You just need to have a look. Alona, Malapascua, Moalboal are all very nice and girls would jump at the chance of going there for a day or two.

Last November 2018, I got to Batangas and was told that the fast ferry was the only option available. The lady at the counter said that Sabang Pier was permanently closed and that the bancas don't operate anymore. Muelle Pier was now the point of disembarkation. Here below is a picture of the ferry MV Golden Raptor at Batangas which I was about to board. There is also a picture of Muelle Pier. I have also attached a picture of Sabang Beach which shows the shit farm under construction (green canopy). This was where Sabang Pier was previously. When I pulled into Muelle Port, there were 3-4 abandoned Father and Son Lines bancas lined up on the shore. These boats used to take tourists.

This is VERY do able. Cebu City has everything from sleazy bars on Mango Ave to high end discos and clubs where you can try your Game / luck. It also has what I consider the best online action in all of PI.
Some OKish beaches around town and some very nice places within a couple hours day trip or overnighter. BYO is easiest but again, many are there online. You just need to have a look. Alona, Malapascua, Moalboal are all very nice and girls would jump at the chance of going there for a day or two.

Landed in Manila took a metered taxi and got to Dragonlink Suites.

Dragonlink Suites was OK for the most part affordable but Chinese owned. Chinese owned hotels always a pain in the ass when it comes to policy. I decided to not report on AC because AC is kinda overdone and we know what happens in AC that being said I spent a few days there this gap in the days I had to take care of some personal business and I did have a flight booked to Cagayan de Oro booked but ended up changing these plans for a personal matter.

In most cases its going to be money. So what I do is ask how much money they want. Ask what they are after and let them create some image / dream of their optimal situation.

You want to be totally fair and up front for both parties and negotiate the larger sum only when you know you have some chemistry. This way you can talk to several girls and choose from which ever one you click with. One way you can do this is set up dates one on each day or 2 a day if you are up for it and tell them you are busy until you find the one you want and then start the negotiations with that one. So you want her to ask you this question. And this is how you answer it.

Girl: How much you give me?

Monger: How much do you want what is a crazy number? Tell me how much you really want?

Normally girls will say 7000 or 10,000 quite low for that kind of question but astronomically high for them.

What you want to do is get some dream number in her head philipinas are not really "pie in the sky" dreamers so more often than not they will throw a reasonable number at you. There are 2 ways you can make this work. If she wants 10 k you could possible get her to stay with you for 30 days for 10 k which is 333 pesos a night plus food. Or per week that 10 k would be around 1. 5 k a day plus food. I have on occasion thrown in a 1 k budget for shopping when ever we go to a mall which is probably 15-10 items during the months in addition to that 10 k so it comes out to 15-20 k a month or 500-600 pesos a day monthly. This is actually much cheaper than normal mongering. Why this works well is the girl is actively getting money and funds and she is waiting for the lump sum at the end of the trip. So you have constant positive reinforcement followed by a pay day for her. What this means for you is. IF you were to agree to 2-3 k a day for a month that's 60-90 k. Which starts to get pretty pricey. Because you are still dishing out meals and transportation and incidentals like a tooth brush and lotion and stuff she throws into your basket at the supermarket. Whatever number you arrive at 20 k 30 k do not exceed your normal daily allotment, Take into account that she might menstruate and you may or may not have sex everyday so I would say lower your normal budget by 30-50% when you are considering a total. You should count food and transport into this total however you need not let her in on this hidden total. You just need this over all total to not exceed your normal budget. If they calculate that you are not giving them the 90 k they would other wise get if they had a LT session for 30 days you can remind them of the food and transportation and other expenses involved in that and ask if she wants to split those expenses or you will find someone else to drop a brick of money onto. They fall in like pretty quickly. (One caveat is this does not work for bar girls or women who have pimps because she is not the only one who is getting enriched and the reason why i don't long term barfine and find freelancers instead for longer term dating situations. )

You may not get lowest cost flights etc during the period but substantial savings can be made to airfares by booking ahead or being flexible on the day of the week that you travel. Of course you run the risk of your first choice being full so have a few options.

Where do you want to fly to? Keep in mind that the week between Christmas and NY is notorious for typhoons etc ravaging the Visayas. Flight 168 is definitely a full service bordello. The setup is very similar to a high end BKK Soapie. Basically, they offer customers a couple of different fishbowls each composed of different quality or different rated girls and Flight 168 prices their girls accordingly.

Customers also have a choice in the quality of room where they take the girl. I forget the names, but it's something like 1st class, executive class, and coach class. The 1st class rooms all have jacuzzi tubs. Thanks.Not a problem. AF 1 is on a busy road. The ride to Terminal 1 should not be more than 10 to 15 minutes under normal circumstances, but you should allow for more time just to be on the safe side.

Phew, just spent the last few days reading back 80 pages which dates back about a year. Some good information in there, but also about 20% dedicated to SIM card talk.

Anyways just thought I would contribute a little report on my trip last month. Stayed at Red planet in Malate for 2 nights, great location, hotel nice and clean. About 2000 PHP / night.

1st night:
