Yes I have had similar experiences. Although I try and buy tickets direct or other expenses many of these girls will ask for money for food and security on the journey. When you add up the cost its the cost of a few drinks in a bar. Nothing to cry about. However on my last visit there, now over a year ago, my judgment might have been somewhat impaired after indulging in a few too many SML's and somehow both a credit and debit card were run, at maximum possible charge (50,000 PHP equivalent), multiple times. I noticed what was going on as I got notifications through my phone and confronted the mamasan, who of course denied any foul play. Thankfully I have limits set which prevented any more than a single charge going through. I checked my wallet to make sure my cards were back in there and marched immediately out. Haven't been back since, and never will.

The device prints 2 receipts on the spot. Compare the printed receipt from the device with the bill: Is it the same? After you sign, keep your copy of the receipt (have seen drunk whales literally leave it on their table and waltz out, having never even looked at it). Pull the phone back out of your pocket, check the recent amount on your bank app account, and then re-lock the card on the app before departing the bar. Having the card pre-set at a limit amount as Idiot suggests is also a good idea.
Everything I just said is a vibe-killer. But, just sayin' that if you are running up a tab of p30-100 K in a bar, whether cash or CC requires a heightened sense of security and sitch awareness. Don't let a waitress walk off with your CC out of your site in a gogo bar.

My apologies, but you will need to define what you mean by "Escort Scene". If you want to bring freelancers back to your room, then you will literally be pushing girls out of the way walking the street to the bars in Burgos. Then I went to Malate and it was just overpriced blue ball KTVs. I didn't even bother with LA cafe. People are saying AC is bad but its still ten times better than Manila. Plus getting around Manila is a nightmare. Public transport sucks and it took about three Jeepneys to get from Makati to Divisoria.

Lets face it guys, Phils is not know for producing rocket scientists.Just be aware that taking the public transit trains in Manila isn't like taking similar metros in Japan, Singapore, Europe, etc. It can make Tokyo at rush hour look positively roomy by comparison: Long lines often JUST TO GET IN to the station, long line to get a ticket, long line to get through the turnstile, the area after the turnstile chock a block with people waiting to get downstairs to the platform. Of course the train will be cattle car packed. Often (or mostly) the trains don't have air conditioning. Keep track of your pockets and your valuables! Also, be aware that when you transfer from MRT to LRT at Taft that it's not the seamless process that most other places have. You will go completely out of the turnstiles and out of the MRT Taft station, walk up and down stairs fighting crowds all the way. Then for the LRT you will start the process again of getting in the station, getting a new ticket, going through turnstiles again, etc. Maybe some will want to try it once just for the adventure. But for repeat visits I think you'll end up agreeing that you might as well pay a bit more for a taxi.

Greenbelt and Glorietta are fancy, connected malls with all the high-end stores, and the best part -- They're mostly indoors, so no melting in the PI heat. Not so pricey AirBnBs (studios around $35-$50 a night), but they might require a few days' stay.
My suggestion. Take her to Greenbelt then Go to P. Burgos. P. Burgos has hotels catering to specific interests, it's a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Greenbelt (depending on traffic).

More upscale than Cebu. But you're correct prices much higher. I stayed by Greenbelt in Makati and used PL for my girls. Definitely found the P2 P scene on Burgos a turnoff.
Cebu City is dirt poor and not a lot of restaurants, bars etc. However, prices for girls are much lower. Problem with Cebu is the girls find it hard to travel to your hotel because it's fucking difficult to get around or they live on outskirts of town. I decided against a two-day fun stopover in Manila mostly because I got scared reading reports on prices. 8 K to 10 K Pesos for Short Time seems excessive. I spent the last 4 days of Mar (from Thur. thru Sun) at Pasay area. The malls were closed. Activity was minimal. There were a few opportunities around the bay section towards the carousel at night. I am not here to talk about it.
Given that it was a holy week, I had planned on importing a lady cabanatuan. I had also booked an airbnb in Shore2. A day before I landed ran into another one from Pagadian city and she was wiling to travel too.

The lower end street walker area of Carriedo has been discussed here sparsely a couple of times before. There is action more or less day and night and I believe there's actually more SW's during the day then during night time. You can find them between the entrance of the LRT Carriedo on Avenida Rizal on both sides up to Recto. There turn right and you will see more, generally a bit better quality.
Many thanks to Keen Eye Joe aka Keen eye joe 1 who described his previous experiences in that area. I wanted to see if it was possible to pull a SW for 500 php and I could but but service levels can be pretty awful. At least 30% are visibly addicted, maybe more. It was my first visit to this particular office, and as I approached the main entrance was accosted by a pair of touts (or 'fixers' as the locals call them) warning me of 'long delays' inside and offering to help me. I asked how long it would take if I used their service, and they told me about 30 minutes. I politely declined, went inside, and made the application myself - for 6 months - which was thankfully granted. It was very busy and very noisy inside, but I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Couple of thoughts on Burgos FL. There are SW out there every night, and a few are attractive, but most are older and some form of fugly. Prices run the gamut from a low of about p1000 for a quickie (usually lasts less than an hour) and runs up considerably higher, depending on what things you want. However average prices (say, about 2 k for ST) can fluctuate quickly, in just a day. Also individual girlie prices can fluctuate wildly, depending on which emergency this or that girl is experiencing TODAY. The number of continual / rolling emergencies for most girls can be surprising. Some girls are having an emergency everyday (indicative of an emergency of a different nature -- shabu).

The best you can hope for are online or streetwalkers' offers of a massage. Also, girls asking higher than a reasonable range, such as p28 k, are not necessarily the cream of the crop in terms of looks. As an example, a decade ago I believe that I reported on a Mindanao girl in the twigs who wanted p7000. I found it an odd request for a number of reasons: 1) She claimed to have never met a foreigner before for such an act; 2) She had a list of needs that were unacceptable (1 hour max, + condom, strict meeting time of early afternoon); 3) The price was way too high considering I was pulling girls from the area for p500-1000 LT; and 4) She wasn't that attractive, a '7' at best (frumpy unkept hair and a touch pudgy). More than once a Burgos SW has told her SW friends an exaggerated amount that I gave her. About late 2022, as the street opened back up after Covid, there were few visiting foreigners, and there was real desperation on the part of all gogo girls in the bars and the street. P1 k was not uncommon on the street, and gogo girls were eager to do extra-curricular work outside of bar hours for ridiculously low prices. Nobody wanted to admit to their peers that they were 2-popping over 4 hours at his condo for p1500. That was then, not so much now.
