I was in CDO in February. I stayed in divisoria in a budget hotel called: Cagayan Park View Hotel.

Address: Tirso Neri Street. Going out of the hotel just had to turn left walk 10 meters, turn left again and walk 30 meters or so to be in a bikini bar with a decent amount of girls, another was very close by. Some girls hang out in the street in that area too. Prices in the bikinibars 2400 if I remember correctly. Streetgirls was 500-1500. There are a million reports on how to get to Sabang. For those lazy mongers who won't RTFF, here is a quick, idiots guide.

1. In Manila, get a taxi to the Jam Liner Bus Terminal at Buendia. Every cabbie will know where it is. You can find it also on the Grab app.

2. Then take the bus to Batangas pier. 187 pesos. Travel time is 2 hours.

3. Then take the ferry to Muelle pier. Cost is around 340 pesos including the enviro levy. Travel time is 90 minutes.

4. Get a trike from Muelle to Sabang. 150 pesos. Travel time is 10 minutes.

Allow yourself half a day to get there.

I really like Sabang. The tourists are mainly Chinese now, but you won't have anything to do with them. They dive with their PRC instructors during the day then spend their evenings drinking beer and eating mud crab. The Koreans are still queuing outside all the bars (except Coco Lips) for opening at 7.00 pm. At 7.02 pm, the bars have been picked clean.

On the first day, I went into most of the bars for a look. At Philippine Village disco, most of the mongers were Korean. An okay girl named 'Irish' came and sat next to me. I bought her a drink. She was about 5 kg overweight, but quite doable, so I decided to keep her as my second string QB, while I went and searched for my starting QB.

Went to Broadway bar next. SHY's "I got it from my Daddy" was blasting away on the speakers at 120 db, so you know who they were targeting. I bought an SML for 115 pesos and sat there. And sat there. And sat there. Not one girl would approach me and not one girl would make eye contact. They only wanted to deal with Koreans. Well, all fine with me. I will take my 4,000 pesos elsewhere.

Next was Coco Lips. I liked this bar. If you are a western monger, this is the only place you need to go to. Don't waste your time and money elsewhere. Girls were nice, rating from a 5-8. Everyone was friendly and it's geared up for mongers from anywhere. There's no discrimination at all from the girls. I barfined this totally cute 19 year old Chinese-Pinay girl. She provided a real, loving, affectionate GFE. It was only her second day in town and I was her first customer. She previously worked in a KTV in Kuching, Sarawak so knows how to service a monger. True provincial girls often take more work and preparation and may be very concerned about being seen by friends or family disappearing into a hotel with a white stranger. If you can manage these roadblocks, yes they can be very accommodating.

In the areas you mentioned there are many friendly girls in the towns on the drive between Dumaguette and Cebu city.

You will be beaten up and left for dead. Province girls are shy, sensitive if they are in their own surroundings. If you can chat up and convince them to meet in a city they tend to be nice. I will never go looking for trouble. What they do with the local boys is different than strange western man.

Btw, in some provinces where there is a Jollibee the hungry girls are lined up there. Again look for the flagger with the red flag.

I hadn't been back to sebang since April 18 and everything I had heard from friends didn't sound good, but things to be both good and bad.

First on transport, the prohibition on banka boats direct from Batangas is a real pain in the ass. The additional trike, boat, or jeepney ride is just a pain, but it is what it is. This schedule was a real help, and even though may not seem like much my return ride on a super fast craft was way better than the slowest fast craft over. https://www.pgyc.org/ferry-sched.php Also know that there are now 2 services running fast boat services with dual outboards. One of them was whole boat only at 8 k php for about 12 people, but the other would sell single seats if they had room and a boat going. Sure is pricer, but a closed in smooth 30 min ride would be a lot of us may pay for.

Next on town, definitely more developed, with even a 7-11 open now. My go to corner market, Castillo, has renovated and expanded, and just in general seems a decent amount of building and renovation. This also means the new sewage treatment facility by the main dock which isn't running yet, but stinks quite a bit, I don't know how those places right by there are going to survive.

Onto what everyone wants, the bars. 1 new big one, Erotica, past coco lips right before the right hand turn towards big apple. Bar is quite nice, multi-level and had by far the largest selection of girls nightly. They also have nightly bacla (ladyboy) show which is quite extravagant and entertaining. Now you don't want to see this more than once, but once was fun with a girl, buddies, and drinks. However all of this is driven by a changing demographic to sebang and the time of the western tourist is definitely on the way out. I would say Koreans are now 70% of the bar crowd if not more, and the increasing number of Korean eateries back this. Also it seems to be a far greater number of guys around that aren't diving at all and our just coming for the girls as the number out of boats was no where close to those hunting at night. Then add a very different approach to the whole seen where the guys are lined up in packs at 7 pm when the bars open jonsing for their hit of piney LBFM. This means either go at 7 or expect a much lower quantity and quality later. On a busy sat night by 9 pm most of the bars were near empty so this can really affect your options. Seriously though having had many Korean girlfriends I know the perils, but damn how bad is it that the guys are fleeing for pussy to the Philippines in these numbers? So this is the scene in sebang now for better or worse.

The bar fines are all at 4 k too now as well for all the bars where there were still some 3 k in 2018. Despite this however I still pulled all but 2 nights of my trip and was happy enough with the results, though only 1 was worth getting contact info and repeating with. I pulled 1 from quantum, 1 from erotica, and 2 from whatsup (now another name) the bar between erotica and coco lips. Of my 4 girls I think were actually baby free which was quite a surprise as well. One nice thing over the scene in Thailand now, is that since the girls are all just doing stints in sebang they are all young. Average age was 21 and while the girls are pros, there is still more innocence in them then the gogo girls of Bangkok. Midnight (below quantum) is open, some girls, but I don't think any of my crew ever pulled from here. Old midnight on the other side of main road is also open, but it really had nothing to choose from. Sure a lot of the girls may prefer the more fun evening with a westener, after all most aren't from there so they are in their shared apartments all day, then if go to work and get barfine right at 7 and then done in short order and back to their apartment, that's a pretty boring routine. For those of you reading my posts for the first time I have been Skank City (Angeles) for 8 nights before coming here. Some prelim stuff about me is there. Firstly thankyou to all that are following my posts. My posts give me something to do during the following day and also let me reflect on my adventures. As to the debate about how to spend your money on business class vs spending it on the girls I think we all agree it's a each to their own discussion. To Sxxx don't worry my girl at home is 1000 % trustworthy, we have been together 12 yrs so I probl think if she was going to stray she would have. The other thing is I can be a very intense type of guy sometimes (does it show LOL) I am not a really go with the flow type of guy – you could even say a control freak – but I have got better. Went to Big Apple for dinner, Madras curry wasn't as good as I remember. Sat and watched the sun go down as sipping on my Coke on the rocks LOL. Went for quick stroll around town. Now I bet you can't guess what 5 new restaurants have opened up since I was here before? All the same kind? Starts with k? New 7/11 on corner, I thought last time bars were open at 6 but they had signs saying open at 7. Generally speaking seems less people around. Pick ups are possible and I have been approached by a few pimps there but never tried one of their girls. Gen san view is nice for swimming and they have 3 or 4 nice malls in Gen San. Eating places are ok but nothing special that I found. A few discos for night life. Flights from Cebu are about an hour and a bus from Davao about 2 hours. A few good hotels. Is it your family or a girl's family you will be visiting? Either family you may have to watch your manners and saving face with them. Are they located near the water? Are they fishing people for a living? Do they live in nipa huts?

I don't know of any freelancer areas in Tacloban. You might have to find them online. Tac isn't well known for mongering.

Only practical flights now are to Manila and onward to Tacloban. From Tacloban to Llorente is by private car / van, shuttle van or possibly bus. I would not recommend renting a vehicle and driving yourself. Especially the first time. Private car transport will cost 3 k-5 k pesos. I believe by it is 3 hours from tacloban.

You can bring chocolates. I would buy sweet pastries from Angels bakery in Tac. I doubt there are any money exchange places in the province. Check what diseases are prevalent and target those. Always have a travel kit of imodium, your favourite pain killers, cold and flu tablets etc. Don't forget to pack the sunscreen. Avoid holding large sums of cash. As someone else wrote have a money transfer backup if you are desperate as there are usually agents every few blocks in even small towns.

This couldn't *possibly* happen, right? Our good friend GENTLEMAN. GENT is about to get into trouble twice, in just a few minutes, unaware both times of what is happening (because well-intentioned & strict Brgy policies are not announced). GENT lives on the periphery of Brgy 15. Just across the street is Brgy 13. The city curfew is 10 pm. One evening around 9:30 GENT decides to walk up the street to a convenience store for a beer, which is across the street and 2 blocks up in Brgy 13. Unknown to GENT (and also some locals in Brgy 13), the Brgy 13 Captain has set his Brgy curfew to 9 pm. GENT steps across the street and walks to the convenience store. Departing the store with his prize (unfortunately in a clear, translucent plastic bag), GENT is approached by two Brgy 13 employees, whom GENT has waved to before. "Sir do you know its curfew?" Um, 10 pm? Twenty minutes from now? "No sir, 9 pm. Can't be outside your home". Oh, that's news to GENT. GENT promises to forgo his wicked curfew ways and to go directly home. "Yes please do that sir". At least they didn't call the police. Upon first thought, this question might come to mind: Why is the convenience store open after curfew?

GENT crosses the street back into his own Brgy, and unfortunately before he reaches his entrance, he runs into several Brgy 15 bantayan. "Good evening sir GENT. How are you?" Fine, says GENT. "GENT what do you have there?" GENT confesses, some brew, and invites the chaps to stop by his place sometime to share one. "Oh, no sir. We have alcohol ban in this Brgy. You can't have it". Wait, what? GENT is confused (again). A ban? Since when? "Last week. Can't buy it here, can't bring it into here". GENT asks: Now what? "Just you take it home. Don't bring it again sir". Whew! GENT asks: What time does curfew start? "10 pm sir". GENT mentions the 9 pm curfew across the street, and the Brgy 15 fellas are also confused by that. "Not aware sir". Great! There might be a need for the Brgy 15 leaders to know that, so they can tell their own residents not to be visiting neighbors, fam, or friends across the street in Brgy 13 after 9 pm.

GENT walks on. Just at his entrance, GENT asks two locals if there is an alcohol ban. "No. Here? No". GENT then asks the door security guard and also his residence manager if they are aware of the alcohol ban: "No sir. Nothing is said to us". Check. The next morning, with a spring in his step, GENT waltzes into the Brgy 15 office and asks a nice man there if there is an alcohol ban. The man chatting to GENT introduces himself as the Brgy Captain, Alfred. "Yes GENT we have alcohol ban here". GENT asks questions. Good Captain, sir, when did the ban start? "Last week. I make the ban because our guys like to play cards and get drunk into the night at the house of neighbors. Easy way to spread Covid". Did you announce this? "I tell 3 saris not to sell anymore". How many saris are there in the Brgy? "Haha I see it. We have many. I didn't tell all". Did you put up posters or signs at the saris or Brgy entrances? "No". Did you post that on the Brgy FB page? "We don't have FB page. I see what you are saying to me. Its not known. I can have some signs made and posted. I will inform the hotels in the Brgy". Thanks!

An interesting side note. Later, GENT saw signs up at multiple sari stores: NO ALCOHOL SALES. ALCOHOL BAN BRGY 15. GENT does not like the ban, but he understands the perceived need. A few weeks later, the signs were all gone from the saris. The liquor ban was over, as several people told GENT so (side-side note: it was also easy to sneak alcohol in from outside; nobody with a brown paper bag gets checked). But astonishingly, other saris did not know the ban was over (in the same way they didn't know when it began). "No sir we have liquor ban till now". GENT informed them the sign / notice outside their sari was gone, unknown to them, and other saris were informed that they could start selling again. Should be maddening for the sari owners and for customers who want the product.

GENT walks over to Brgy 13, towards the Brgy office. In a compound are 4 guys playing cards, drinking Empirador. He asks the guys when the curfew starts at night. "10 pm". He moves towards the brgy office and asks two more locals what time the curfew is. One says 10 pm, one says 9 pm. At the Brgy office GENT chats the intake lady and asks curfew time: "10 pm sir". A guy walks over and corrects her: "9 pm. We changed it". A Kagawad introduces himself to GENT and they fist-bump. GENT asks when the change was made. "Two weeks". GENT says he asked several locals and they were not aware of any change. How did the Brgy apprise the locals? "We decide it at a meeting. Its the job of the Kagawad and barangay people to tell others. Some of us did and it will appear that some did not". GENT mentions that its easy to put up a few flyers around the brgy. "Good idea we will do that". GENT mentioned that he had unkowingly been out after curfew the night prior and being rousted by bantayan. Kagawad: "Ya you shouldn't do that". As if to say it was GENT's fault for not knowing about the poorly announced curfew, in a Brgy where GENT does not live. If you don't post an announcement at the Brgy entrances, how do outsiders know to stay out of your Brgy after 9 pm?

Should be maddening. Un-announced rule changes that effect your life. Whether its a mask, a curfew, or now you-can't-have-this-or-that-thing. Its quite possible that the new rule makes sense and are well-intentioned. The suddenness and lack of announcing it, should be maddening. But lack of information (and its acceptance) is a way of life here. At the higher levels: national, regional, and governors, and mayors often make proclamations, which are publicized at least on FB, on official letterhead. But at the Brgy level, its a wild potpourris of rules, and stepping across the street literally puts you in a different jurisdiction with different rules. In addition, publication of those rules might be done well, done poorly, or not at all. You go out for a 10 minute walk to the mall, you might pass thru more than 2 Brgy, each with its own rules which you are unaware of (and possibly the brgy residents might be unaware of).

Fictional example. I am the benevolent, autocratic, 1-man leader of a fictional country called ANYCOUNTRY, similar to Philippines. The pandemic is in effect in ANYCOUNTRY the same way it is in Philippines. The rest of the fictional world is the same as our current real world. ANYCOUNTRY has many reasons why tourists visit, and I am considering re-opening the country to tourism (mildly at first). Knowing what we know about the virus, and vaccines (they all prevent symptoms, but not necessarily transmission), it will probably be conservatively wise to initially limit the daily numbers of inbound travelers for 3-6-ish months (to monitor the situation), and also to require all of them to: 1) Swab test; 2) Quarantine for whatever time my medical community says might be a reasonable time-frame for possible infectious-ness (say, 10-ish days); 3) Limit their movement while in-country; 4) Initially limit their time in-country (say, 1 or 2 months maximum); 5) Require a swab test prior to their departure home (protects the other country and will almost certainly be required by the other country anyway).

ANYCOUNTRY will re-visit each of these items as time goes on and there is less need for these things. A realistic leader will want to err on the side of caution; hence the conservative nature of my 5 requirements.

I hate it when my friends had to go back home even at 1 am (the ones they do had kids back home so I understand).

My guess is that it is worse now than how it was back on September.

And she is not that type to be bought with money, she has a good pay job (in Filipino standards), and she is independent since she was 19 when she moved out from her hometown, she even beat me in different jobs she ever had, my count is 12 hers is 15, she had to prove it of course with uniform pictures, certificates and employee cards. That's why I like her, how independent she is and also educated, she studied for 2 years and payed her education herself.

I found this file on my computer from a year ago. Dusting it off and presenting it now. A (year-old, mind you) look at how things are (or, are not) communicated. I don't remember posting this before, hoping I didn't post it a year ago.

At some point around May / June 2020, the face shield was added as a requirement to wear. I believe it was a national policy. One morning I was leaving the hotel around 8 am and I noticed about half the people outside had a face shield. The day prior, that was 5% (if that). I didn't have one and stepped back inside and asked a front desk gal (there were 4 of them) if there was a new shield requirement in effect or coming. "Yes sir starts today. Must have shield in public places and your mask also". Um, I never heard of that, was that announced? "I don't know". A second staffer popped into the conversation: "Not so. Not required until next Tuesday". Staffer #3: "I think its today. I saw in FB". Staffer #2: "Its Tuesday I saw in FB also". First gal: "Its today. My tita works in the Mayor's office she said to me yesterday I need shield today". #2: "Next Tuesday and its in PUV only. Not for in the street". They continued to discuss it at the front desk.

One of my regulars txt me at that moment, asking me to buy her a face shield, and I said yes. I left the gals and walked outside to the street. There is a PNP substation near there, and 4-6 officers stationed there 6 am-6 pm daily. None of them had shields. I asked them if there was an edict for the shield. Officer #1: "Yes sir all must wear in public". Officer #2 said: "No, only in jeep or tryke. And sir its taxi also". The two started to argue about it. Officers, when did the shield rule begin? Both officers agreed it started today. Officer #3: "No its next week. Tuesday next week". Haha f*ck! Officers, why aren't you wearing a face shield this day? "Ahhh. . . Um. . . " No answer. Don't they have shift-start meetings to discuss policy changes from their CO? I know they do, I have seen them having those morning meetings in public parks. I didn't have a shield, they didn't tell me to put one on. The (unmasked) officers were pulling over every jeep to check to see that every passenger had a shield, then waving the jeep on. I walked away, un-shielded, to a carindaria for breakfast.

The regular who wanted a face shield. She txt again, saying everyone in her brgy had a shield but her (hard to believe, as thousands of people live there). I reminded her that I'd get her one for tomorrow's session. "But how I can go to you without one?" I don't know yet. I pulled up google and searched it. On top of that, many owners moved out of their units, went to the province, or back to their home countries. They are simply not of the mood to rent it during the pandemic. Along with my list of strange conspiratorial Covid vax items that I mentioned before, here is another not-uncommon belief: If someone brings Covid into your home, you can't get rid of it. Back in the day I used stay in a hotel near the Ayala Mall. Usually the Elizabeth. My reason was it was easy for a new girl to get to. I could meet them and walk them over to my hotel. Occasionally I'd go trawling around the mall, but that got less fruitful. Perhaps I just got older and uglier.

On my last trip in 2018 the girls mostly just came straight to my hotel. So I'm wondering if I should change my strategy for my March trip. I'd still stay in hotel since I like room service to change my sheets between guests. But maybe I look for something close to S / T hotel so I have that option. Not really into the bar scene even if they are reopening. Perhaps there's other factors like proximity to the CBD or restaurants that I should consider instead.

The various provinces definitely do have girls of different looks and attitudes. That may be making you more likely to click on girls from Mindanao. They are taller than average and I haven't seen an A cup there.

Girls will travel further if it's worth their while. Both income potential and cost of living is higher so it needs to balance in their favour otherwise it's not viable to move.

I am sure there are sex massage places. Hygienic is word rarely used in mongering. Only your room should be clean and safe. However there are girls who will come to your room and you can indulge in massage and sex. But since for you it is forbidden you can try hitting massage parlors and ask. No shame in asking. If you plan to travel to areas outside the big citys make sure you have some contact with some drivers you trust.

If you don't know any meet some, seek them out in every area you visit and keep them on speed dial, hell I would even pay them a retainer.

In some provinces the trike drivers are not licensed so they will not be able to make it past any check point. And some provinces totally shut down after 8 pm no taxis or anything.

In the province you will rarely see any "taxis" at all they just don't travel that way they use what they call Vans. They are 10-14 passenger vans that transport these people from point to point.

You can rent these vans by the day for 3000-5000 a day which is advisable if you are going into a hard to reach province. You are expected to refill the fuel and provide a small budget for the drivers meals (sometimes a place to sleep for the driver as well).

At about 11:30 last night the street outside my apartment is downtown on a main street and 0 cars on the road just a trike or 2.

I went to talk to the trike drivers to get a taxi and no taxis nor vans in sight. I actually had to contact the realty office and get the bosses personal driver to assist us after wandering around these streets for hours looking for a van or taxi.

My "girlfriends" father past away or at the time was in the process of passing away and trying to get a mode of transportation that late at night proved problematic. This is never a problem in citys like CEBU, Manila, AC. But what they affectionally call the super province everything shuts down around 8 pm and past 11 you will be hard-pressed to find anything but trikes.

So at the very least make sure if you are going to these "other areas" to have some drivers numbers handy and make some contacts that are reliable best insurance is being able to GTFO if need be.

Pre-pandemic. The smaller the 'burg', the less public transportation options. Outside of AC, Manila, Cebu, Davao, and CDO: There are likely FEW (read: none) taxi options (regular taxis, Grab, etc). Your hotel might be able to call you a taxi or driver (or have its own) in the province IF you notify them in advance. You will probably not see one on the street if you are out / about walking, day or night. For example, several times in Butuan (not a small burg, a city of several hundred thousand) I changed hotels during a stay. Asking at the front desk: How do I (and my luggage) get to the other / new hotel? You will get a response like this: "Go in the street and wait the Route 2 jeep and stop near in Duongon, then transfer to the Route 1 jeep and stop near in your new hotel". Your first thought might be: You MUST be kidding? Jump in a jeep with my luggage? Hope to find Duongon? Wait on the street for jeeps? But the clerk was not kidding. Do you have a shuttle for me? "No but I can call a taxi if you like". Yes, do that. "OK it will be p300 flagfall and the driver will want extra". Great! "Sir you can also have a van". The big van? That holds 12 people? "Yes like that. The owner will want p4000. But you an have it for the day". Thanks, but my other hotel is only half a kilometer from here. Call the taxi for me.

This kind of thing can be maddening the first time, but that's how things operate in the province. Also pre-pandemic, after dark the street traffic began to lighten considerably by 8 pm, and by 10 pm you would be lucky to get any form of transport, any night of the week.

Pandemic times. Everything went to h*ll in the province. Things changed every few weeks, from strict to mild and back to strict. Curfews abounded: 9 pm, 8 pm, 10 pm, 6 pm. Is Cebu still having a curfew? Nothing moved after curfew. Even when the curfew extended later in the evening, there was a shocking lack of movement on the streets after 7 pm. My friends in the provinces say that things have been lighter and much less strict in the past few months. Sometimes you have to move after sundown (MM's example of a death in a family is good reason, or going to a hospital). But until the ship rights itself, plan on even the smaller modes of transport (trykes) being done and home shortly after sundown.

MM's idea of having drivers on speed-dial these days is a great suggestion in any city you are in. Drivers of taxis, trykes, and motorcycles suffered wildly during the lockdowns, and I was able to work deals with them for relatively low rates (compared to a meter) for transport. They were quick to offer deals up front. I needed only to txt one of them prior to a trip, or anytime I needed one. As an example, in the province, a normal taxi ride from my place to a certain mall was 15-ish minutes and p100. Same for the return trip. One of my drivers would skip the meter, pick me up and drop me at the mall, go drive other fares while I shopped, be back at the mall 15 minutes after I txt him for a pickup, and return me to my hotel, for p150. A similar ride from my place to a mate's apartment for dinner (pickup my place 6:30 pm, drop off at mate's apartment 6:55 pm, pickup at mate's apartment 10 pm, dropoff at my hotel 10:15 pm) would normally be 2 taxi rides at p150-170-ish each way. The driver would do all of that (grabbing fares while I dined) for the advance-agreed price of p220 (and they were lining up to get that work). You can work similar deals with Tryke drivers. You should keep at least one taxi / car driver and one tryke guy on speed dial (several times a driver was not available when I needed him).

Some folks here are spelling out plans for getting drivers, trikes, rickshaws, when traveling in the provinces. There was a time when I would hop on a bus and head on out until it got dark and I was close enough to a burgh that could support a hotel. Then I would stop and stay for the night. Next day I would do the same. Traveled up to La Union that way and then headed down the Zambales coast. Always made new friends in the evening.

Had a great ride from Dumaguete. Crossed to Cebu Island on a ferry then headed to Moal Boal, a diving resort on Cebu's west coast. It was rainy and dismal when I was there but it had possibilities. Looked like maybe some freelance activity at a loud and raucous out door music venue where young whites, men and women, were horny drunk. Then, too Filipinas were also pairing off with the tourists.

Then I took a bus to Cebu where I stayed for a while before flying out to AC.

I always wondered about traveling by overnight ferry whether I could lure someone to share a cabin me. I would travel in a first class cabin while the average Filipina would have meager accommodations without privacy. Maybe make an acquaintance on deck or in a lounge and invite her back to see my etchings where one thing would lead to another.

There used to be a two story building directly across from airport in Puerto Princesa. I went there once and the girls come on stage periodically and you can call them down for a drink and / or negotiate other activities. There may have been a sign indicating it was a pub or club of some sort. I tried not to look at them but they were so loud that you can easily heard everything they were talking, I was waiting for the guy to physically hit her so I can intervene and defend her, but it didn't happen, at the end they left and the food they order was intact, homeless kids from the beach came in and grab their food and left like hyenas after grabbing their meat.

My favorite is from 5 years ago. Arriving at NAIA for my return home flight via HK, I was feeling sad knowing that it would be too long (for isn't it always too long!) before I had another Filipina in my arms. Then, sitting at the gate for that late night flight to HK, I saw a 26 year old beauty sitting alone (only issue, I would later discover, was that she had really rough, callous hands! I sat down next to her and struck up a conversation, carried her bag for her when our gate changed, and even gave up a business class seat on the plane to I could sit next to her. She was headed back to HK where she was going to be a caretaker for a condo. (The owner was going to be away for six months.) It came up that she couldn't arrive to her employment agency until the follow morning so she was planning on sleeping in the HK airport. I explained that I had a room booked (my itinerary required an overnight layover) and that she was welcome to bunk with me. She readily agreed and the rest is history. Talk about squeezing the last little bit of toothpaste out of the tube that was my two-week PI holiday.

Another good memory: I used to regularly transit through Dubai and almost always, because of flight schedules, had an overnight layover. I don't remember the exact details now of how I met them, but one time I ended up hanging out with a group of five Pinay OFWs. They were celebrating the imminent departure of one among their lot. She was heading back home the following morning. We began the evening in the lobby of the Hyatt Place in Deira. Assuming the front desk would never consent to my taking five ladies to my room, we contented ourselves to drinks and bonding in the lobby. At some point I decided to try my luck and ask the guy at the desk. To my great surprise, he had absolutely no issue with it. Once in the room we continued the merriment for another hour or two until we all got tired. I ended up having FS with the second most attractive of the five, a shag made more enjoyable by the fact that we did it as still as possible since three of her four mates were in the bed with us. The next morning I made sure to casually stroll by the departer at her gate and say Hi. She was the hottest of the five but shy and embarrassed about my approach, if I remember correctly. Good memories trying to sneak-in a live-in caregiver employer house while she was alone (employers working and kids at school) they had cameras everywhere so I had to move to the blind spots whenever the camera moved, also I had sex while the toddler (girl) was in the other room eating and watching TV.

The one in Egypt, I had a 10 days tour (with cruise), so I could only meet her in Cairo (first two nights and last night in Cairo, the rest of the time I was in a Nile cruise but not with her), the funny thing is that she was married with an Egyptian (I didn't know until I met her), we could both had been in trouble if they found a Filipina married with an Egyptian (Muslim) was cheating. The true was that the Egyptian was the cheater one (he slept with other Filipinas OFW), so she got tired and decided to do the same by sleeping with me (probably I wasn't the only one), at the end she listen to my advice and she left him and went back to Philippines, she was just miserable with the Egyptian and good thing they didn't had a kid.

She was a live in housekeeper who worked six days a week and was desperate to get out and have fun. She had a curfew too so I would only see her once or twice a week which I didn't mind. She was 30, about 5'0 with see cups, olive skin tone and about 125 or 130 lbs. She wasn't wild in bed but not a slouch either. Overall she was a good lay. Besides the apps, dating local girls is very possible there, but you don't get into her panties in 2 dates, so you don't have much time, and you can still get shut out.

I am not aware of any mongering spots in either Lipa or Batangas. Batangas has a beach I believe. I'm going back many years but it was common for some of the working girls in Sabang (across the water near Puerto Galera, Mindoro) to live in Batangas and commute back weekly to see kids, family etc. They would take a lot of hunting for a newbie to find if he didn't already have contacts and recent reports of sabang girls are nowhere near as good as previously.

Anybody has any knowledge about the Moalboal scene?Moalboal had been on my "to do list" for some time. So I had an opportunity to go there in 2019. Took a bus from Dumaguete up the coast of Negros to a place where a ferry crosses to Cebu island. From there took another bus north to a small town from whence I took a long trike ride to Moalboal. It was rainy and dismal. Lodging was overpriced for what you were getting. I spent one night there. There was a bar with a band. Drunken white male tourists, a number of Filipinas, and sloppy drunk white women. The Filipinas were likely quasi freelancers. People were pairing up, 'cept for me. I have no game. I stayed until closing time and then to another place. I discussed the girlie situation with a couple of locals and learned that nothing there was organized. Maybe weekends were better, I was told, when more girls would come.

Anyway, the weather was bleak the next morning and my nipa was uncomfortable so I took off early for Cebu. I would say that it had the feel of Sabang Beach in Mindoro might have been 50 years ago. Narrow unpaved roads, Houses woven from palm fronds, dive shops all over, restaurants catering to tourists. Maybe if I had more patience and better weather I would have had a better experience.

In Boracay 3-4 years ago, right after they reopened after the cleanup, the reports said that there wasn't any action, but I found a mamasan with about 10 girls in an abandoned building on the main road that takes you to the other side of the island. I don't recall the exact location because one of the motorbike guys took me there, and probably it doesn't matter anyway because covid happened in the mean time, and things changed. My point is that there may be some hidden places, undiscovered yet.

Henann brand hotels are amazing. Very clean and modern with great breakfast buffet. Fairways Blue Water is very good too. It is a resort self contained. Great for golfers. I am not a golfer per se. I am only balls deep in Pinay Pussy hole golfer.

Great to bring your own girl for 2-3 days. The ocean water is warm and clear. Jet ski and parasailing are very good. Jet ski is 2300 for 15 minutes. Parasailing is 2000 for about 15 minutes.

If you are bored take a trip to Boracay.

One disco (the low budget Spin 360 club), three strip clubs (Black Cat, Explosions, Love City), three hostess bars (Cocorococo, Station 88, and a nameless one next to Spin), and 5 videokes located near the Butuan City-Magallanes ferry port in downtown.

Fast forward to today and the number of establishments has dwindled to four. All the hostess bars are closed, as is Spin 360. Only two videokes with barfine-able girls remain. The Black Cat and Love City clubs remain open, and amazingly the prices for ladies' drinks and use of the secluded VIP rooms have not increased.

I'm not going to list directions on how to find them, because any downtown trike driver knows where these bars are located.

There is presently a 10 pm street curfew, which means you need a valid reason to be out on the downtown streets. Two of my regular streetwalkers have been arrested in the past two weeks for "vagrancy", so the SW areas behind the Saint Joseph Institute of Technology and Guingona Park ("The Plaza") are deserted.

For those of you familiar with the Woodstock restobar, which was the city's largest nightclub, it has permanently closed. It was never a hooker joint, but guys with game always had a chance of finding gold there.

I live near to Cabadbaran City, a 45-minute drive from Butuan. The place is a desert, as the mayor ordered all the riverside videokes to close.

Two weeks ago, I drove to Tagum City (about a 90-minute drive north of downtown Davao City) and I was amazed at the number of girly / drinking establishments that are either boarded up or have been razed to the ground. I'd estimate only 1/3 the number of hostess bars are open, most of them located to the west of the bus terminal near the public market on the north side of the city. Any trike driver can take you there.

Conversations with girls indicate that local men are visiting and drinking plenty of beer, but aren't spending much money on ladies' drinks or barfines. Covid and inflation are really having an impact here.

Thanks in advance!Sorry, I have not visited Surigao City in the evening for a couple of years. Pre-Covid, all the action was centered on Borromeo Street near the city port. There used to be around 6 hostess bars / videoke clubs and 1 strip joint on the southwest side of Borromeo between Amat Street and the Hotel Tavern. I would be surprised if many are open now.

Word on the street is that the hopping poon-hunting locale is the municipality of Claver, located on the coast between Placer and Tandag City. There are several large-scale mining operations nearby, and the hotter girls have migrated there to chase the money. There are some nice beaches and low budget resorts in the area. Hop on a Bachelor Tours bus and give it a whirl.

I heard that at present its sort of dry in terms of gogo bars and take-outs from pubs / sports bars from the different forums that I have read.

Apart from go-gos, am looking to spend time in bars like LA Cafe (Manila) and Clubs such as Hammer & former High Society (Angeles) with good FL action. Any recommendations?

Will appreciate on-ground intel on the right girl-friendly standard decent hotel in the thick of action. Plus (if possible) contacts of FLs who could give company to a 50 year "young" dude for bar-hopping, booze and "good sessions".

If you are talking about the gogo bars on Maxilom Ave, a KM from Mango Square. On one side of the street (pre-pandemic) were the "Vikings" group of gogo bars (including Vikings and Sisters), about 6 bars. Across the street was another set of gogos, maybe 3, but I can't recall their names.

I was here just a few days after this message (although I have been off-line from this forums for quite awhile). I had a girlfriend (bisexual) with me. Although we were not specifically looking for company, just out to have a drink and play some billiards. I had introduced her to billiards for the first time only a week or so prior while in Bohol, and she was really getting into it.

We started off at Day bar, but did not stay even for a drink as we were looking for somewhere to play pool and this place just didn't have an interesting vibe. Walking up the road we saw a sign for pool tables with the usual touts sitting out the front, and this turned out to be Viking bar. Just a simple door at the left hand end of the building dropping down some stairs. As we didn't know the area had no idea that this was a go-go bar, so it was a funny surprise as we walked in downstairs to see all the FL walking around. There was probably no more than 8 to 10 punters in there, with maybe 15 girls. Most where in the 5 to 6 range with a two or three that were more like 7's. Not really anything better than that. No real conversation or activity happening, and two of the punters who were in there looks like they were asleep on the couches. The girls who were dancing made the stage look like this is where you went for your soul to die. Absolutely dreadful. All of the girls in there looked really bored, and we attracted a whole hell of a lot of attention one because I had a girl already with me; 2 because we were there to play pool not to pick up girls; 3 because we were laughing and joking and energetic where as the place otherwise seemed pretty much dead. Ended up staying for about two hours. Played five games of pool including one game where we teamed up, me with the mamas an and my girl with one of the girls in the bar. Had a great time in there, but if I had not been there with a girl in order to play pool, and instead was there from a straight mongering point of view the place struck me as pretty downmarket, pretty depressed.

We then walk slightly further up the road and went into Philly, which is one of the bars across the road that I think you are thinking of. Went upstairs and played a couple rounds of pool and foosball with a group of young Filipinos (girls and guys) and just chatted and had fun for another hour or two.

Ended up at Mango Square. Went into ClubHolic but was so loud we just walked straight through and out the other end. Didn't even try to go into Lyric's, ktvs really not my thing. Then we tried to get into the other one there (studio 11? But they wouldn't let me in because I wasn't wearing socks! Went back out to the street and bought a pair of ankle socks from a street vendor. Hell of a sexy look!! Went back and they were happy to let us in. Did notice that as usual in the Philippines the application of rules was extremely haphazard. Had a few dances and a couple of drinks and then headed home for the night.

This is probably useless reports since I don't think any of you have an interest in Bacolod but anyway. So the main nightlife area iin Bacolod is called Goldenfield Complex. Intra-city travel. Some of my NCR regulars are po gals, and all of them have tried to pull this stinker in the past. She requests taxi money, both coming and going. Usually I decline; if she's not OK taking the jeep (s) as she has done for years, she can stay home. On occasion I give taxi money for her trip back home when she leaves and requests it due to rain. I always walk my girls out to the guard to collect the ID and then to the street. Every single girl I handed taxi money has, in my presence, jumped into a taxi. The taxi travels 50 m, or pulls around the corner, and stops. The girl departs, fails to see me still standing across the street, and then she waits for and jumps in a jeep. Lesson learned.

Later when she would re-ask for taxi when its raining, I offer to take her to the street and put her in a taxi and pay the driver direct, giving him, say, p150 for a p90 ride. Girls decline this almost every time. Alternately I've offered to pay her inbound taxi driver directly when she arrives, and suddenly she is no longer interested. She's rarely interested in the taxi ride, she wants the taxi pesos in her purse. The first time she jumps out of a taxi and into a jeep, or the first time she turns down my paying a taxi driver directly, is when its time to tell her never to mention transportation types again. Its just easier to tell her to get into a jeep (short of hard rain).

Caveat / observation: Province girls are different. They are interested in the taxi ride; its speed and aircon and staying out of the rain. She's fine with me paying the taxi driver directly to take her home.

Thanks. Me too. However, my understanding is that Grab drivers will no longer accept this. Thanks COVID.I reported on it about a year ago. I had zero success with it both in the province and NCR. I didn't try it again from mid-late 2021, until last month. Got a Grab driver cancellation when I msg'd him that I wanted him to pick up my girl and bring her to my residence. Same as previously: "Sir are you coming in my taxi with the lady?" No. "Cancelled".

Did anyone else have any experience with this from this year? I don't want to say its impossible if other gents are successful with it.

OTOH I did have success once when I ordered a Grab Taxi for me and the girl (to go to her home after our time together), and then I didn't ride with them, I tucked the girl into the back, alone, and asked the driver if that was OK. He said yes (it was a credit card transaction, no cash was changing hands at the end of the ride). Might have been OK with him because I was there at the start. "Just you get a Phils credit card sir and it will work".

Keep pressing them and they send you some technical jargon regarding why your outside-Phils credit card has weak online security (hard to believe that my major bank's CC is less secure than a Phils card). I took the time to copy / paste the jargon in a message to my country's bank that issued my CC, asking the bank what the tech jargon means. Reply: "The jargon means that we don't send an One-Time Password on each of your purchases. Grab wants us to send you an OTP to you on each purchase to confirm that you are indeed you, then to confirm to Grab that they can charge your card. Its not a bad idea, but we only use OTP when you log into your credit card account online. Sending an OTP for each individual purchase is old technology and we have better ways to protect you. Sending an OTP is the responsibility of the vendor, not this bank".

Copy / paste that last part back to any Phils business last year, gets a response like this: "Yes we don't want to send an OTP txt message each time". BTW, Grab has completely eliminated email as a method to contact them or complain to them. Sending an email to the support@grab.com address gets an auto-reply like this: "We are no longer using email to communicate". The reply does not give an alternate method of communication. You might find similar communication difficulties with every similar Phils company such as the ones I mentioned above, to include GCash.

Related recent example. Recently I tried to purchase a subscription to a vid streaming service here in Phils. One of the payment methods was CC. I entered my CC info and was told that the service would verify my CC account by placing a small charge on my CC first. "We have added a small charge to your credit card to verify". That, followed a moment later by: "Something has gone wrong! Try back again soon!" I checked my CC bank statement, and there was the $0. 12 USD (twelve cents) charged to my card from the streaming service. I emailed the streaming service asking what went wrong. Reply: "You tried to use a credit card from a bank outside of Philippines. We don't accept credit cards outside of Philippines". Does this have anything to do with OTP? "Yes its everything to do with OTP. We expect your bank to OTP. Not us. Get a Philippines bank credit card". Shouldn't you have that message on your website when the customer orders, so he doesn't waste his time? Reply: "I will forward this to our media department. Its a good idea!" Duh! All of those are email exchanges, which take days for them to reply (sometimes 1 day, sometimes several).

More of the stores that accept CC payment are now utilizing CC devices that are "Touch" or "Tap", versus "Insert". This prevents skimming, which is not uncommon in NCR.

If yes, then we can credit Gcash from our Credit Card with Worldremit or any other money transfer (with some fees.) and then pay locally anything with the Mobile phone app, including Grab or others?

I did that in Kenya with Mpesa and it works very well.

But is it easy to get a Gcash account for small duration like 2 weeks? Or 3?

Gcash account is easy to make, cash-in, and verify (takes 24 hours or so to verify your identity). I can confirm that you can WorldRemit to your GC account -- and no sending fee! Many vendors accept GC as payment, and you can GC from your account to your girl's account easily. There are now cash-in (deposit) convenience fees at some places, including 7-11 (1%) and some kiosks. There is a 2% cash-out (withdrawal) fee at all cash-out locations (Cebuana, SM).

However I don't see a GC payment method on Grab. These are the listed methods in the Grab app: Cash, GrabPay Wallet, Credit / Debit card, and a linked Phils bank account (BDO, Union Bank, and BPI).

GCash would be a quick way to send your girl taxi money quickly from a phone app. However, the same warning applies: If she doesn't come, you can't get the money back. I have used my GC account to pay taxi drivers by sending the payment to their GC right there in the taxi. Hence you could GC your girl a few hundred pesos for her taxi, and she could in turn GC the metered amount to the driver (no Grab driver needed). I don't know any pinay who doesn't have GC.

I haven't been to CDO or Lyete yet but do enjoy other provincial areas. My first visit was also a disappointment until I found out that provincial meet ups are often very different to Manila, Cebu etc.

Girls are much more reserved and image conscious as all their friends and family will find out that they are meeting an old guy. Platonic first dates and bringing a security blanket friend are much more common.

Forget about doing any ground work online before arrival. Many will make big promises but then back out due to being scared of meeting a new westerner face to face. Many provincial girls have never actually met a white guy in person before, especially one who wants to fuck her 10 minutes after meeting.

Making contact when you are in town and organising to meet today after work or school is much more effective. It also saves you wasting time on chatting to girls that can't or won't meet. Its good to hear that you were able to get Grab to remotely pickup or drop off your girl. I have had zero luck during pandemic. When drivers figured out that I was not going to be in the car, they cancelled the ride and I got hit with said fees for making the attempt. Back then, the charges went to my outside-Phils credit card! However I have not re-tried recently.The name I use on Grab is Don * a Latin sounding surname and not my real name--I'm 100% Caucasian and can be recognized as such from a mile away, however, come to think of it, over the years, several drivers have mentioned when they picked me up that they thought I would be a Filipino due to my name and were surprised that I wasn't. I never thought much of it but perhaps this is the key to the remote pickups.

The flaking part. So correct. You'd have to wait until the girl actually got to the pickup landmark (ie, Petron station), THEN order a Grab to go there for pickup. THEN tell the driver what she is wearing and tell her the vehicle plate number and color. THEN hope he says yes to you not being there. Risking the p50 fee for him cancelling is small, and risking a girl not coming to me is a PITA (for me), as I'd have to start with plan Bee.You can share with the girl the map with the real time location and trajectory of the driver plus all the drivers info and car info. Its a button in the app. Then she has all the info she needs. It works almost all the time. The only time it doesn't is if she's late to the location and the driver takes off but that's rare. Then there's a 50 peso charge.

This Grab pickup also has the effect of adding urgency to the meeting I notice. They know the car can be there in minutes. The juices start flowing. On both ends. I reckon it has made more meetings possible due to the immediacy of Grab, as opposed to her taking a cab with no money and then being worried about you being there to pay and texting you every five minutes during the ride which can take an hour. Obviously you do need to go downstairs to pay when she arrives and interestingly, that seems to be the first inkling the girl has that you're paying cash, but by then, she's at the front entrance of the hotel.

Anything that makes the process easier is good and I love the Grab 'remote pickup'.
