Don't know about massage, but around the plaza at night there's always a few mamasans hanging around.Need nights for my 18 year old GF.

She is at school during the day and I just want a little variety once in a while.

From the US Department Of State, dated today. Boldface and italics are mine.

Philippines Travel Warning, November 20, 2014:

The Department of State warns USA Citizens of the risks of travel to the Philippines, in particular to the Sulu Archipelago, the island of Mindanao, and the southern Sulu Sea area. This Travel Warning replaces the Travel Warning dated May 19,2014, and reflects continuing threats in those areas due to terrorist and insurgent activities..The Sulu Archipelago and the southern Sulu Sea area islands are areas no monger should go. Also Cotabato City, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat definitely don't go there. I have never even chatted a girl from any of those areas.

Mindanao is HUGE. The areas most of us will be drawn to based on the magnet of the girls. Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Butuan, Iligan are some of the nicest parts of the Phils. Camiguin is my favorite destination in all of the Phils.

The people of Mindanao are very welcoming, the beggar / scammer culture is much smaller, the foriegner price gouge shit virtually non existant compared to Manila and AC. You will get the best values in all of the Phils in Mindanao. If you have a Caucasian face, yeah you will hear 'hey joe' but its in a friendly way.

If you are traveling outside of those cities I mentioned in public transport, buses, for example, in the eastern and southern portions of Mindanao, there is a tiny but real risk I suppose that you could become famous for all the wrong reasons as some political victim.

Most of Mindanao is a gem of the Phils.

Most of Mindanao is a gem of the Phils.Concur. The places you mentioned in north and northeast mindanao are relatively safe.

Every few months the US State Dept updates its Philippines travel warning, and I quoted it almost in its entirety, on purpose. I was posting it for several board members who have never visited phils, but have recently been in touch via PM, who have mentioned a desire to travel particularly to Zamboanga to meet a dating site girl. Probably its best for inexperienced gents to not travel to mindanao at all on a first trip. Better advice is to bring the pinay to him in Manila, Cebu, or wherever he resides. In fact, there are plenty of girls in those locations to choose from, having provincial girls is something that can be saved for later trips. Newb gringos traveling to Zambo is not smart.

Sometimes we read of an experienced guy going on a motorcycle tour of mindanao for a month or more, and having a great time. This becomes romanticized in people's minds, and its not smart to recommend that newbs go to those places or do those things.

Sometimes we read of an experienced guy going on a motorcycle tour of mindanao for a month or more, and having a great time. This becomes romanticized in people's minds, and its not smart to recommend that newbs go to those places or do those things.Ya, I did a 3 month motorcycle tour of Mindanao. I was a great way to meet allot of nice people and allot of nice girls. It was a great way to see allot of beautiful places, and have a great time. But it wasn't the best way to get allot of new pussy. I did get some, but the top shelf stuff was just a bit out of reach.

The bigger cities all have their small scene, Butuan, San Francisco, and especially Surigao, down by the passenger ferry terminal for example. But it's not like these province girls are sitting around waiting for some Western rock star to come shag them silly. I think I did a few searches on DIA, but didn't find much. I should have renewed my FC membership.

One time I was sitting on a wall and a bunch of school girls were hanging around. One would get a little closer and closer. It reminded me of feeding racoons. When they finally decided they could trust me, the whole group gathered around. I got a couple new text mates.

Another time I stumbled across a small university along the coast near Nasipit. There were 8 brown beauties sitting around at one of those hamburger dumps. I parked and walked past them without looking and pretended like I was going to order. I decided I wasn't that hungry (ya, right) so I turned around and walked past them again and said Hello. After a few words they invited me to sit down. After a while they were all screaming when I said I was single. They all offered up their best friend siting immediately next to her. Pretty soon the boys started to gather around. Pretty soon there were probably 60 kids gathered around, there was no more air, and it was so loud we couldn't even talk anymore. I gave them my number and split. Got a few more text mates.

Or course these young ladies are "busy focusing on their studies" and would never think seriously of airing that hot stuff out for some passing foreigner. They don't even think seriously of having a boyfriend. Because in their world boyfriend = pregnant = baby too soon = father kills her. It's like it's in their DNA. Jesus Christ is the Lord God my Savoir. Sunday is wash day. I focus on my studies, I graduate, get a husband, have babies and grow old and plump together.

Ya, it can be dangerous. I didn't go into known trouble spots, but not just everything on the road, but the road itself is trying to kill you allot of the time. Or there is no road where Google Map shows there is. And you're in some place where if you get a flat, you're sleeping in a bamboo shack. And don't expect many good restaurants, even in those bigger cities. So I can relate to what WC said about it becoming romanticized in people's minds. There are exceptions of course, this is just my experience, and everyone's mileage is going to vary. Again Mindanao girls are very conservative for the most part. Without a little help or allot of patience, lining them up and knocking them back will prove to be quite testing. For this post, I counted my text messages over the past several months that I haven't deleted. The count is 845. And they're mostly from Davao and Mindanao. In the end, after all that, I only have 2 that I'm currently banging.

I've done a lot of traveling around much of Mindanao. Covered the east coast from General Santos in the south to Davao and on to Surigao in the north, all across the north coast to Butuan, Camaguin Island, CDO, and to Dapitan / Dipolog on the west coast. Zamboanga Del Sur to Pagadian. Sometimes by V Hire vans, packed in like sardines, but mostly by air con bus. Avoided all of the Muslim hot spots. Met many hospitable people. Often amazed to see a white guy traveling alone. "Sir, aren't you afraid? It's dangerous here. " Always delighted when I answered, "I feel safer here than in Manila. " Met a number of lovely girls via DIA and PinaLove. Always took the time to build an online relationship before arriving. Took every opportunity to stay in nice beach resorts and brought bikinis and sarongs for my adventurous girlfriends. I would caution newbies to not come unless they are seasoned travelers. My main advice would pertain to every place and everyone traveling off the beaten track: Be respectful, be friendly, be careful, stay sober and keep a low profile.

Great post Sam. My Mindanao experience is limited to Davao. I had been chatting with this 19-year old from Mangagoy (part of Bislig) for a few months back in 2005, and traveled to Davao to meet her. She met me in the airport, and less than an hour later we were showering together in my hotel room before a session. We decided to go to Samal Island a couple days later and she didn't have a swimsuit, so we stopped at Gaisano Mall to buy one for her. We were in the department store there, and she took three swimsuits into the dressing rooms to try on. In the 5-10 minutes she was in there, three cute dept store employees approached me and asked if she was my GF. I said no, we just met in person, she has been my penpal. All three girls then gave me their cp numbers. I love the Philippines! LOL

The most important thing to remember if you have safety fears in Mindanao is that the disaffected 'Muslim extremists' who the worried posters are obliquely referring to in their concerns of Mindanao in general, do not have any quarter in the cities proper.

We all hear figures of Mindanao being x percentage Muslim 20,30, 40%. People might think they are entering the Phils version of Saudi. Its not like that at all. The fact is that the major and medium sized cities have very little Muslim power presence other than Halal eateries, Most of the Muslims who reside in Mindanao are poor and in the 'mountains'. Their grievances are probably as much rooted in poverty as the are religion.

Sure they have clannish strongholds like that lawless Maguindanao area where they murdered all those journalists. But your pursuit of pussy will never take you there.

Even in Iligan the place I have spent the most time over the past decade, as part of the western 'Muslim' areas, its supposed to be dangerous. Its not. Mind you I have only spent time in the city proper. Once I got caught with my old GF in her small nursing college town somewhere west of there, near Pagadian, I am not sure. I had to take a bus to get back and they said some foreigner got killed last week. That made me a little disconcerted but anyway I survived no problems.

Even in Zamboanga I would have no reservations to fly there and stay in the city. It by all accounts is a relatively advanced city with a rich history. Would I take a local bus into the countryside wearing a GWBush t-shirt? No. But I want to visit Zamboanga if I find a real local girl to meet but I never have for whatever reason.

But I want to visit Zamboanga if I find a real local girl to meet but I never have for whatever reason.Roll Aides had this to say about Zamboanga.

I passed through Zamboanga about a year ago for an exit visa run to Malaysia. I highly advise avoiding the shit out of that place. I had been in the country a while, I felt I knew the ropes, I had a Filipina with me, I did my research online. I thought I knew what I was doing. It was a serious mistake. The people there are hostile in various shades from open to veiled, even to other Filipinos who are not from that region. Not everyone we met, but enough to make it quite an unpleasant trip.

When I got back from Sandakan, I stayed one night at the the Filipina's relatives. We left the next morning. After I got back to Negros, she gets a text from the relatives that there are some guys at their house who want to "interview" the foreigner. Thank my lucky stars that we didn't stay an extra night. I would have been cat meat. Oh yeah, and then a few months later there was the attempted rebel coup where they shot the shit out of everything. Glad I missed that too.

Stay the fuck way from that place, if you value your life. There's plenty of locations to enjoy hot girls in the Philippines, even in Mindanao, without mortally endangering oneself.

If you have to go to Zamboanga, the advice I can give is this: Pre-book your travel and stay at the most expensive hotel you can find. Don't go anywhere else. Keep a low profile. As soon as you finish your business, get the fuck out. If you go there for mongering, you are out of your mind.

Even in Zamboanga I would have no reservations to fly there and stay in the city. {S N I P} I too have spent a lot of time in Mindanao. In my opinion, Iligan is not part of the 'western muslim areas' and is totally different to city of Zamboanga. However, a friend of mine narrowly escaped being kidnapped in Iligan (it was not known who the would-be kidnappers were aligned with).

I have spent a lot of time in Dipolog and Dapitan in Zamboanga del Norte province (which is even more west than Iligan). Muslims are not highly visible in those towns, but there is still some danger, so caution is prudent. One of my in-laws was a police officer in Dipolog, so we had access to reasonable intel.

The muslim rebels have extensive networks of spies, informers, supporters and sympathisers in Zamboanga City. And many of the so-called rebels actually just want to get rich through kidnappings and subsequent ransom payments.

BTW most of the people in the mountain areas were neither Catholic nor Muslim, but had animist beliefs. And many people who refused to convert to Islam escaped to the mountains. There are only a few pockets of muslim rebels in the mountains. And I think that the reference to the Maguindanao massacre is an irrelevancy (it could have happened in many places in PI).

I have travelled extensively (through my profession) to many dangerous parts of the world. I have narrowly escaped a serious problem just outside Islamabad, witnessed atrocities and robberies near Port Moresby and Mt Hagen, worked in Mosul during a period of major bombings, and witnessed a 2 hour gun battle between police and gangsters on a major highway outside Caracas.

But in my opinion, Zamboanga City is an order of magnitude more dangerous than any of these places for a lone individual westerner. There is a very high probability that one will not leave the city voluntarily if one stays for more than 2 days.

Just my opinion (and I don't really care if anyone chooses to travel to go to Zamboanga).

AV.I wasn't saying that at all. It was a mistake to take the bus. My point was to stay in the cities and avoid travel in inter city public transport in the countryside anywhere west of CDO. Sorry if I was ambiguous. I wouldn't do it again. I always took a private car or van from CDO to and from Iligan Pagadian etc. One time I noted I got stuck and wasn't comfortable. If I'm not comfortable in any situation I avoid repeating it. Its not advice for others to do it.

Also to be clear I rarely try to pick up girls or go to girlie bars anywhere outside of Angeles. In all my trips to Mindanao there was only 1 night I got caught in CDO with no pre arranged girl and I snagged a forgettable runner from a dive bar. Angeles bar pricing and selection have completely spoiled me from trolling anywhere else even Metro Manila. I am in country for short 2 week bursts and my days as a PUA are long past. I don't have the time or patience for it anymore.

Sorry if anyone inferred I was advising mongers to go to Zamboanga. I think I repeatedly said that one was safest in the city in any part of western Mindanao. I even used the term city proper. Staying with a girls family anywhere in the Phils, well you better know the girl really well and girls don't live in the city proper. I like to maintain control of my situation. And jealous relatives and neighbors anywhere could cause a problem not just in Muslim populated areas.

The Muslims are not only in the mountains and the mountains are not only for Muslims. What I was referring to was institutional and effective control of the area. You see Halal eateries all over Western Mindanao. The Maguindinao massacre could have occurred in other small clannish towns for sure, but not in the places that would qualify as cities.

Is Mindanao Mayberry? No. But I can say I have felt far less safe in parts of Manila and Angeles from petty street criminals than I have in the cities of Mindanao.

Again I never said I have visited Zamboanga, Never advised anyone to go there. Only said I am curious to go there given the right circumstances which haven't arisen and may never arise. The further you go west and south of Cagayan de Oro the relative safety due to the boldness of you becoming victim due to Muslim unrest increases. I would not take a public intercity bus again anywhere west and south of CDO. Like I said I did so once and was not comfortable. If I was not clear that it was a mistake and not an encouragement for others to do the same I apologize for my lack of clarity.

I've lived and worked in the conflict areas of Mindanao for more than ten years, and anyone who believes that one should have no qualms about going to Zamboanga and just hanging out is either recklessly foolish, not very bright, or woefully uninformed. Ikksman is 100% correct in his assessment: the Abu Sayyaf and other KFR groups maintain excellent spy networks in the city, and they focus on the hotels such as the Garden Orchid and Lantaca where foreigners are most likely to stay. Further, there are no taxis in the city, so jeepneys and trikes are the only readily available options, and neither offers any concealment. The proximity of the city to the jungles of Basilan offers a varied assortment of bandits and insurgents ready access to impenetrable concealment, and the fact that the armed forces and several politicians are widely thought to share in the ransoms further exacerbates a highly unstable situation.

For several years I was privy to a fairly steady stream of intelligence information on the presence, activities and locations of these groups and I can assure everyone who reads this that the travel advisories from various embassies are well founded. Add to this the fact that Zamboanga is pretty much of an uninteresting hole, and there's little or no reason to contemplate going there.

If I ever do bite the dust one day in the province, it likely won't be at the hands of some angry Mohammed. It will be something much more mundane.

The many dangerous modes of transport would be my bet. The safest seem to be the Supercats provided the weather is nice and they are not overcrowded, which I have yet to encounter. If the weather is bad I'm not getting on any watercraft over there. Once I was taking an Asian Spirit flight from Manila to Calbayog and the pilot announced about 30 minutes into the flight that we had to turn around to some unspecified mechanical issue. I was happy to get back on the ground on that aborted plane ride. But didn't hear about any ones falling out of the sky lately so that's encouraging.

The worst are the ubiquitous late model white minivans scattered everywhere. Many a time I have had to tell the driver to slow down or let me out at the next town. The better the vehicle the more fast they will drive it. I am waiting for a blind hill with a stray carabo just over the apex and the 130+ kph missle will have no out but to kill us all. A close second is the buses, again the newer ones appear to be safer but it just encourages the driver to get to unsafe speeds.

I snapped this foto of a Rorobus last December south of Puerto Princessa we chose the other more rickety one White Rabbit or something I forgot. The pic was snapped out the bus window as we passed by. Supposedly no one was killed in this one but I am not certain.

A reality check and a caution to those of us who travel through Mindanao. 10 killed and over 30 injured when a Rural Transit bus was bombed in Bukidnon Valley, close to CDO. May have been extortion, may have been Muslim insurgents, maybe both in the same package. Local military commander uttering predictable inanities suggesting that they don't have a clue and probably never will. Be careful out there, guys, and bring your lucky rabbit's foot.

I am in Boracay and will be here for two weeks and below are a few observations.

There are plenty of women and young girls in Boracay looking for action, contrary to some reports I have read about this island. However, many appear to have a mercenary character and these FL's appear older than their years based on my conversations with them. A remarkable number of them speak poor English. I suppose the poor English puts them on even keel when conversing with the Koreans here.

Tonight I went to Cocomungas. Originally, I thought this club / disco was located right on the beach and walked by several times during the day and night only to find it empty. However, the main branch is opposite the beach bar and located directly off the main drag, after passing the center of town heading south, on the right hand side of road. The club was full with FL's and with a rare Japanese / Korean or Caucasian girl who stumbled in without realizing what the main business plan is here. Most of the girls are fairly attractive if you are into the 45 kilo petite type and many are between 18-25 with a few MILF's tossed in. Did not see any LB's, which is good as the place is dark and that could get confusing.

However, they can be very aggressive. I always look for shy girls hanging in the corner but here that type does not seem to exist. There appear to be a lot of hard core pros too. As an example, they start quoting prices almost immediately and virtually all of them ask if I wanted two girls. This seems to be the trend these days wherever I travel and monger. As someone recently advised me, 'you pay twice as much and they work half as much'. I told a few girls that unless there was lesbian action that I was uninterested, which generally redirected the conversation. One girl quoted me 4k and I started laughing. Unclear if that was ST or LT but get the sense there are a lot of runners here anyway so I would not take a LT commitment to bank unless the hour was late. Later she quoted me 3 k for each girl finally coming down to $2k only for her even though I was not even participating in the negotiation as I was not interested. Pretty funny. I just walked away.

I also saw a girl at the club who I spoke to the night before. She was a hot little trumpet and quoted me $1500 for ST and $5k for LT and made a face when I asked about LT. I more or less agreed to ST and we started walking to my place but after a few paces, I asked her if she liked to kiss. She said no that was not her thing. I stopped and said sorry, it is MY thing so I am not going with you. She was a bit nonplussed by my reversal. Tonight, I saw her at Cocomungas and she barely looked at me once she recalled our conversation. I think she was initially trying to remember where we met because she was flirting with me originally. LOL.

One other thing. I am surprised how poor some of these girls comprehend and speak English. The girl who was trying to conduct the one-sided negotiations with me could not understand virtually anything I said to her and she was from Kalibo where the international airport is located that services Boracay. I kept telling her I was not ready to leave with anyone but she continued to blab on and on about her various pricing options. Finally, she asked me to speak slower.

I could return to the disco tonight as prices will probably start coming down to more reasonable levels as the night wears on. The issue for me is whether these girls provide good service regardless of the price. With the full on pro attitude being exhibited, I am doubtful of finding any GFE here. Hope I am wrong but that is my sense of Boracay so far.

One other thing to note about Boracay is there are many LB's hanging around Station 1, most prominently in the the area that stretches from the Epic restuarant and night club to Starbucks. They generally hang back in under the trees in the darkness but there are some attractive ones who can easily deceive. Below is a case in point.

To wit: a few nights ago, I was near Epic restuarant and club and saw a taller Chinese looking girl pass by a few times with her girl friend, also with a Chinese appearance. They were dressed like many of the Chinese tourists here with a proper dress and walking with poise. After passing a couple times, I caught her eye and engaged her in conversation but was somewhat disappointed to discover she was part Chinese and part Filipina and claimed to hail from Cebu. She explained that was the reason for her height when compared to other Filipinas.

Nevertheless, just to be absolutely certain, I asked her twice if she was a LB and she feigned disappointment and adamantly said no, that she was not a LB and seemed offended. We struck a deal for $2000 for the night, if I wished her to stay that long, and returned to my apartment. When we arrived, she asked to be paid in advance but I refused. She seemed quite nervous and her jittery behavior made me think that perhaps she was lying to me about her gender status. So I asked her to show me her unit. She reluctantly removed her panties keeping her legs crossed so never got to the essence. The weird thing was she had two pairs of panties on which really sent the alarms off. However, she also had a scar below her stomach that she said was a the result of a see-section temporarily assuaging my suspiscions.

She then offered to begin with a massage and I agreed but after about five minutes, she said she could not have sex as she had a baby a short time ago and was too sore. She offered a he and / or BJ instead. I promptly got up off the bed and asked her to leave. Whereupon she sulked off to the bathroom and changed back into her dress. As she was leaving, I scolded 'her' about her duplicity. It's quite possible that the scar on her belly was not a Csection after all. Regardless, I am quite amazed that this person may have been a LB though audaciously 'she' continually denied it, even in my room.

I was just in Boracay for a few days and saw many available women along the beach. I stopped by Cocomungas but it was dead at 9 pm.

I only had one night before my girl arrived and I had a GFE session with a nice grandmother of 33. She was not the petite type that most here like but I found her attractive and the service was very good.

I did see a few groups of LBs on the beach, some looking very presentable as women (but tall). None of the real women flirting with me on the beach were particularly attractive to me. Just the one that I took and that was all I needed.

I went to Cocamungas around midnight last night. Lots and lots of young cute girls. It rained hard most of evening so perhaps that delayed the crowd from arriving earlier as girls tell me that 10 pm is the optimum time. A few girls quoted me $2 k for all night. One girl said that was as low as she would go so quite certain some would go for less. I discovered that focusing on girls from Manila yield more and better English speakers, plus they seem less jaded than the girls from Kalibo and other closer locales near Boracay. I found one girl off to the side from MNL but with several other cute friends nearby. She came to my apartment and, in fact, was eager to leave from Cocomangas and stayed until 11 am today. She turns 21 in a few weeks. I expect that Christmas Eve should still be crowded though local girls may travel to their province homes for s few days.

Also, several girls confirmed to me that ladyboys are not allowed inside Cocomangas, nor are they allowed in Red Coco bar on the beachfront road. This rule probably pertains to other bars and clubs as well. So avoid the LB's hanging around the beachfront and one should have no issues. The key word seems to be 'massage'? If they say that to you, more than likely, that's all that is on the menu.

There are also many uniformed massage girls outside their parlors also saying "massage" which would get you a legit, non-sexual massage. It's not hard to distinguish the two categories but their clothing. A few of the FLs were more direct, asking if I wanted "company".

Actually, I was attempting to say that LB's use the inquiry 'massage'. I suppose they could always argue that they were offering nothing else but a massage. Yes, I needed to add that there are many legit spas on the beachfront road with young girls in uniforms offering standard massages through their spas.

I mentioned in my prior report that I took a girl out of Cocomangas on Tuesday night. She texted me last night, Christmas eve, and wanted to know where I was. I told her that I was at a party in the lobby of my apartment. She then asked if she could come join.

Kind of rude, I thought, and ignored the message for a while finally telling her her the party was for guests of the apartment, which was true.

This morning she texted again and said she was going to Manilla tomorrow and needed more cash for the flight. Also, mentioned she got into trouble the night before, Christmas eve, and had scratches on her face but not entirely certain what she was trying to say as her texting and general English skills were so garbled and hard to understand. To make a long story short, she wanted to come over this afternoon and bang me for some quik cash. I told her no as it sounds like something weird is going on. She just texted me again. What a pain! This probably means I will have to deal with her tonight at Cocomangas.

We recently spent three nights exploring the gogo bars of the Divisorio area in Cagayan de Oro with a travel buddy and local guide. This was very different from bars in Angeles or Manila. I had read reports of full nudity with lots of sex in the bars and the VIP rooms, but saw little or none of that in six bars we visited. We mostly saw girls on stage one at a time in dresses or bikinis with an occasional flash of nipple or pussy. There are a surprising number of very pretty young girls in these bars, along with the more usual older and worn-looking dancers.

We started at Deja Vu, on Cruz Taal Street between Burgos and Capistrano. It is run by a gay guy who was helpful with info but made it clear that sex was not on offer in their on-site rooms. The young pretty girls there seemed very shy, making no eye contact and seeming to want to hustle off the stage ASAP. The beer was 95 pesos, girl drinks around 400, the rooms are 1500 and the barfine 3,500. Across the street was Touchdown, with one or two attractive girls but we did not linger there for some reason. Our next stop, walking North on Capistrano street a few blocks was Limelight, on the right side of the street just before Yacapin street. About six girls were available, a few also quite attractive. I chatted up a young stunner, but sensed she just wanted me to keep buying drinks and was not available for take-out. Same price for drinks, rooms are 2,000 and 2500. The mamasan told us the rooms are for talking and karaoke only. Barfine also 3,500. We then proceeded to Gian, which is upstairs on Yacapin street around the corner from Capistrano, where they charge a 50 peso cover charge with the first drink. Similar story about rooms, 2,000 pesos and no sex.

This was getting tiresome, but we pushed on to Fantastic Club on Tiano Brothers Street and Macahambus, next to Lexis Bar & Grill. My friend decided to get right to the point and asked the mamasan which girls were available for sex. She obligingly brought us to one of the VIP rooms and had six of the girls come for a line-up, indicating they were all available, but only if barfined, again for 3,500. I picked the cutest one and sat down for a drink and interview with her. She passed with flying colors, and meanwhile my buddy had started working on the waitress. After some further negotiations we left with my dancer and his waitress, back to the hotel. Service was very good, GFE quality.

The second night we wanted to check out GHQ, the successor to Spooks, on Pacana Street near Tiano Bros, but it was closed on Sundays, so we went to Ming & Mong on Pacana St instead. It was on the 2nd floor upstairs from a bar with a different name I have now forgotten, near the corner of the aforementioned streets. This place had the best line-up we had seen so far. The mamasan offered us a room for 30 minutes for the price of one lady drink for each of our ladies, so we tried it out. As promised, the girls entertained us with karaoke and not much else, but were willing to negotiate take-out services if barfined. Same price as elsewhere, 3,500, although our Filipino buddy was quite sure we could have negotiated that too. My girl was a stunningly beautiful 19-year old, shy but willing. She would not do any sort of BJ, but was otherwise quite GFE, responsive and a pleasure to have in my bed. She wanted a tip and I obliged with another 1,000, making the total deal quite expensive by PH standards.

The former cafe street mentioned in prior reports was shut down a year ago. We also heard from cab drivers that the local politicians have cracked down on the gogo bars, and that could explain why our experience was different than what has been reported previously. We walked past Cora's but our Filipino friend and bodyguard advised against going in, saying fights break out there regularly and it is a bad place. All the clubs mentioned have signs outside or fairly obvious flashing lights, they are not hard to find.

The Hotel Tune was a great deal at $30/ night via hotels.com. There is no swimming pool, but the rooms are clean and modern, similar to Ibis and other European chains. There was no problem bringing female guests late at night, and the security guard even helped get a taxi when she left.

I left the island a few days ago and thought to summarize my trip. In previous postings by ISG members, most have suggested bringing your own, which I strongly advocate. Even though there are girls available here, they seem a bit on the desperate side and not all that bright either. Quite a few from the provinces have poor English speaking comprehension and speaking skills.

I went to the club Cocomangas several times and took out two chicks there during my visits. The first I discussed in a prior report. The second one I took out early this week. The service was good, but similar with the first one, she texted me after leaving the room imploring me to lend her money so she could upgrade her phone. Yeah, sure! Then I ran into her on the beachfront and she wanted to come over short time for a $1 k. She was not that hot and I decided to pass plus she piggybacked my IPhone access password while looking over my shoulder and that kind of pissed me off. I realized that later as she took a Selfie with the phone in the morning, so that also meant she also memorized the pw number from the night before. Kind of disturbing.

As also mentioned, there are considerable amount of LB's wandering about the beachfront road I would prefer not to deal with on a daily basis. If you have a girl with you they leave you alone. If solo, they pester you incessantly.

For those of you looking for alternative things to do in the Philippines, see this link:

http://www.expatch.org/2014/08/21/rewind-the-top-100-places-to-visit-in-the-philippines/This is really a nice link, Red, thanks. Been to Banue, Taal, Baguio, 100 Islands and all the touristy places (MNL, AC, CEB, Subic, Duma and Siqui) but never Palawan. Looks really nice there, too. Any Palawan reports? I went back 10 pages and only saw a bus crash. Curious. Thanks.

While I'm certainly no expert, I've been to PP a couple of times. Both times I took girls from KTV's on roads that are diagonal to the airport road; two different places on two different roads. Last time was about a years ago, from a place called (if I recall correctly) Phoenix. It was basically a large bar with a rather rotund, mid-30's mama and maybe 20 girls lounging around. I think the mama asked 3 k for but settled for 2. 5 k for LT. I enjoyed my time there, getting groped by the mama who invited the girls over to check out my package. I spent the evening with a tiny, sub-spinner from Mindanao.

The year before I went to a different place a bit closer to town also on a small street off the airport road. Same setup, KTV with mama, a bit smaller, on second floor of a building. That place had a woman's name that I can't recall (like Nancy's or Mary's, etc). The girls in that place were more scantilly dressed, and I saw what I wanted immediately; a slim girl with an absolutely prefect derriere walking past the door as I entered. She was wearing a bikini so her ass-ets were on full display (yeah, there was a full moon that night! LOL). The mama called the girls for a line up but she needn't have bothered; I only glanced at the others waiting for her. She was really perfect; one of the best p4 p encounters I've had. Stunning body; gorgeous face, wasp waist, fabulous butt. I honestly don't recall the exact toll, but if it were more than 3 k I'd remember, so I'm guessing it was more like 2-2. 5 k. Very well worth it. This girl looked better than 95% of the girls on P Burgos for 1/2 the price.

I saw a few more small places in that same area, on those streets running perpendicular to the airport Road. Prices would have been much lower (per my cyclo driver) but they were quite seedy. My impression was that Phoenix and the other place were the high end for PP. Quality was variable but some lookers in both places. I'm sure there're more cost effective solutions if you find those places too pricey. Any cyclo driver can show you those places.

Happy Hunting! Thanks, EBD. When was this, please?

Been to Banue, Taal, Baguio, 100 Islands and all the touristy places (MNL, AC, CEB, Subic, Duma and Siqui) but never Palawan. Looks really nice there, too. Any Palawan reports? Palawan is a very beautiful and relatively unspoiled island with some great beach destinations like Sabang Beach, Port Barton, San Vicente (Long Beach), and El Nido. Although there are a few honky tonk bars in Puerto Princessa, I would recommend bringing your own girl and going straight to one of the beach destinations. Sabang Beach is the closest to the PP airport and is about 90 minutes away. I plan to go back to Palawan for my third visit in April and I am bringing my favorite Makati girl along for company. It should be great!

Note: in picture lb370 (lb stands for Long Beach in case you were wondering) there are two (German) girls lying on the sand in the foreground. They were the only other farangs I encountered on this beautiful 14 mile undeveloped beach during the two days I was there. What a beautiful place, but you need to BYO girl to really enjoy it.

Howdy Gents,

I've been getting a hankering to do some naked sunbathing—without leaving the country. Have a Filipina who is down with the proposition. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience of where we might be able to do so.

Please, I'm begging you, do not tell me how conservative PH culture is and how it doesn't exist. I know this.

But, if anyone is aware of an exception, I would be extremely grateful. Having done a massively thorough online search and come up with nothing, save for some bogus and / or unconfirmable references to Sogod and (maybe) Bohol. . . I thought I'd check here as a last resort. Short version: If you've done it or know of someone who definitely has, please reply. I have an itch that I can't scratch.

I can only speak from first hand knowledge of Puerto Princessa area but its definitely a bring your own girl place. In the properly described seedy bars from the airport to the Governors seat in the city center is the only possible places to find an willing girl. The Palawena stock available is not the most attractive frankly speaking nor have they developed a culture of offering thier most desireable specimens to the buffets of Angeles or Manila. Just ask yourself, have you ever met a MM or AC bargirl from Palawan? Its a rare bird and unlikely a prize like the incredible gems from Samar or Leyte.

The Puerto area is very clean. The former governor was German influenced and enforced a refreshing form of environmentalism there. Since my first visit 6 years ago Puerto has exploded in growth. A Honda Bay tour is nice they have lots of clean islands but its definitely become a tourist scene but mostly a native tourist destination like most of Mindanao, Siquojor, Bohol etc.

Fellas,

Just spent the pas 4-5 days in ZAM for work and I have to echo with comments posted previously. While there is a small P4 P scene, its not worth it as all westerners stick out like a prostitute at church. Given that there is currently a large majority of Muslims within the city limits, the mall is not even safe for any length of time. Please be aware that the Muslims run the majority of the shops / stores. I did take the hotel van a few times for local errands as I felt local trans (Jeeps / trikes) was pushing my luck. Just for kicks (and boredom), I tried the MP attached to the Garden Orchid Hotel hoping to score with a chicka maybe needing some extra scratch and couldn't even get a simple HJ.

BL. If any of you need local help, ping me and I will provide what I can.

Well it had to happen, after two years of travelling to Philippines I was finally scammed in an online dating site. I know I have written about all of the rules, always get face check, skype etc. In this case, I couldn't / wouldn't get agreement from these two to skype, low bandwidth, account won't load, forgot password etc etc. Anyway I settled for voice contact via their mobiles. That was good and we had good conversations.

First girl, turns out the lady's Tagged profile is a family affair. This 22 year old girl is hot property and is the family's meal ticket to success if they can marry her off to a wealthy foreigner. Messages are answered by the mother, maybe the girl or other members of the family. Lovely people but not my cup of tea.

Second, the other girl. Her cousin set up and answers her Tagged profile. My first contact with her was on the phone, the SMS. Next thing she's in my room telling me how much she loved my Tagged conversations. Hmm. And she stayed the night and was wonderful. Possibly one of the tightest girls I have ever been with and no compensation accepted, not even a trik fare of P10.

So, while I do feel a little dirty for being cheated, I did get to date and enjoy a nice dinner with a genuine Filipino beauty and next night have wonderful sex with a very passionate woman.

Now, if only I can remember which of my fake profiles I was using.

Have fun out there. This game works both ways.

BD, what was the scam?Sorry Westcoast1 for my wit, I was scammed in that the people on the web whom I was chatting to were not the people whom turned up. So the people whom turned up were indeed the people in the photos. This in in contrast to me, where I am the one chatting, but my photos are not up to date.

I agree Free2 that I always pay, two girls were simply offended even with the offer of trike fare. They are the real deal.

Although I am always amazed at the number of girls whom say no sex for two years but then get into bed with me on the first meetup. Maybe that's another part of the scam to get sex from foreigners. (LOL).

Arrived in El Nido a few days ago. It has been reported before that it is best to BYO and I have to concur. There are women here but also an abundance of LB's. Two clubs -- one is a reggae bar located on beach called Rasta, which appears to me mainly tourists, though locals and LB's with the latter coming here to pick up the unsuspecting drunk backpacker.

The other is called Asylum, which is primarily a local place and is off limits to LB's. I met a young LB last night at a local bar but did not know it initially. She started the conversation by telling me she is staying with a German tourist who was sleeping so she was bored and went out. So I assumed she was a girl LOL. However, she is from El Nido and had met this guy on a prior trip. She the. Joked about the guy wanting to tap her virgin ass. At that point, she admitted to me her status as a LB and I was surprised but it just goes to show that I have a long way to go to identify LB's! She told me about the LB policy in Asylum and suggested that I go there to meet girls. She also suggested that I try the local waitresses as they were available. After she left, I walked down the main drag to the Asylum club. Inside this place were about 20 Filipino guys and maybe two girls, one of who was on a date or married to her companion.

My driver from Puerto Princesa volunteered to me that the girls in this town were prettier and 'fresher' in his words. He was from El Nido and spoke in a disparaging manner about his hometown girls. I did notice a string of bars near the airport in PPS. It's only a five minute drive to the main part of the town. From there, it's about 5 hours to El Nido if you drive it without stopping.

Several recent contributors have claimed that you need to bring your own girl when traveling to Puerto Princessa (PP). That wasn't my experience. I was there some time ago so I won't relate the specifics of my travels because they may no longer be valid. However I believe that the following generalities are still true. Talk to trike drivers or patrons at the expat bars. I was there for a total of three weeks on two different occasions and I was with a different girl every night. At least 10 bars called sing-alongs had girls. Rizal Park had street walkers. A club by the park had a smattering free lancers. For the adventurous, PP has a number of Pinoy bars that might be interesting on a week night. Be polite, don't get drunk, get in and get out quickly and early and you should have no problem. As far as prostitution in the Philippines is concerned, I work under the premise that like shit on a horse ranch, it is everywhere.

Anyone knows which hotels in the Cavite area that has a KTV bar or a place to go mongering that's within walking distance?

I left El Nido yesterday and arrived in PPS in Palawan early evening. First, I found a really nice, new and modern hotel near the airport on the road into the town center called The Islands Stay Hotel. They have small rooms for $950 p and a nice big room with a double and twin bed for $1500. I took the latter. The room includes a nice size flat screen, Internet portals, great wifi and the hotel sparkles from top to bottom. Nothing like a new place!

However, they did require that all guests must be registered and there is a $500 p fee for someone extra in your room. They also don't allow drinking in the room though not sure how that is enforced.

This leads me to the next subject. The hotel is located on the main road from the airport into town. Along this road are numerous restaurants, bars, KTV's and at least a couple of take out clubs. There were several girls hanging about these smaller clubs but YMMV. Most notable is the Phoenix Club, which is located next to the Fersal Hotel, directly across from the airport. I stopped in briefly last night and spoke to the MamaSan. Drinks for the girls are $275 p but the bar fine is a whopping $3500 p. I did not venture too far inside though there appeared to be quite a few girls at the end of the bar. Perhaps a dozen. Though no idea of talent level. MamaSan was unclear if the BF was for all night or ST and said that was up to the conversation one had with the girl so it sounds like a crapshoot. The place itself is very nice and compared to the other KTV's in the area, a real palace. I complained to her about price and said that was like Makati prices. Albeit, Makati prices would also include (presumably) a larger price or tip for the girls. I figure that I could arrange a discount if I appeared to be a real buyer but last night I was tired from my trip via El Nido.

There is also a regular night club called the Tiki Bar, located on the major intersection as one drives from airport into town. It appeared to be more of a date place and local non-pro hangout as it offered live music and decent food.

I hope to have a more interesting report after my stay here as I have two more nights in PPS.

I am leaving Palawan this afternoon. Unfortunately, windy weather prevented me from visiting the underground river in Sabang so the only reason I am here now is to catch an afternoon flight back to Manila. As mentioned in a prior report, there are a few scattered KTV's and clubs on the airport road to the center but the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Last night, I visited the nicest KTV in PPS called Phoenix, which is located next to the Fersal Hotel directly across from the airport. On my prior visit a few days ago, I and a friend of mine spoke to the MamaSan about the barfine (3500 p) and drink costs for girls (275 p). The women inside were nicely dressed and attractive though did not see any standouts. Many appears to be mom's judging by the belly bumps but at least they looked classy and clean. It was clear that I was the only potential customer at 11 pm so thought that perhaps I might be able to arrange a discount off the BF. The MamaSan organized a "model show" and the girls strolled around the stage in nice cocktail dresses but provided very little eye contact or seemed all that interested. However, one girl had lingered off stage at the end of the show and she gave me a friendly glance on the way back to the couches where she joined the other girls.

I asked her to come over and bought her a few beers while stroking her legs and lightly playing with her puss outside her panties. As long as I was discrete about the light petting, she seemed fine with my covert behavoir. However, she reconfirmed the BF rate noted by the Mamsan. After finishing her second drink, I asked the MamaSan to come over but she adamantly said the BF was fixed at 3500 p ($75 USD). The other problematic issue was it remained unclear if this would be for short term or long term. The girl told me that was up to the guy and the girl-- so pretty open ended and gives the girl a clear escape hatch.

I declined as the BF and undetermined duration seemed out of sync. But, the girl did explain a few other things about how this KTV is setup. For one thing, all 18 girls present live on the premises in an upstairs apartment. They are not allowed to go out after the club closes at 2 am. She expressed an interest in texting me in the morning around 7 am, as I slipped her my phone number, but it is already 8 am so not expecting to hear from her.

Can't say I understand their business model. Basically, 18 girls hanging around practicing karaoke, no active customers besides me, and no interest in negotiating the bar fine.

After I prepared my last report, I went out for breakfast across the street from the Phoenix. Shortly thereafter, I received a text from the girl I met the night before. To make a long story short, she came over to the restaurant and we negotiated a price. I offered 1200 p for two hours. An awkward pause ensued as she obviously thought she could get closer to the bar fine amount I had offered last night of 2000 p. Finally, she timidly said $1500 p, which I accepted. We then proceeded to my hotel. She looked really cute in her blue jean cutoff and tight little white blouse.

Nicely shaved too once we got down to it. Basically, it was pretty damn good-- two times in about and 1 1/2. Nice DF kissing, DATY, BJ etc. And quite the cute little body. She asked for a tip as she was leaving but I declined. What is a sufficient tip here in PHP for ST or do you guys generally tip? BTW: Her name is Rachel.

The best thing, of course, was avoiding the 3500 p BF quoted from the night before, the 500 p guest fee at the hotel, which only applies after 10 pm, and enjoying a surprisingly nice and relaxed morning horizontal refreshment.

.I may be the cynic but you agreed a price so why the need for a tip. If the price was p1500 that's the price.

Go to a bar and you pay the price shown for a drink. Go to a supermarket and pay the price shown. Agree a price to buy a car, that's the price.

Girl gave you a price which you agreed to, so unless you decided that the value was exceptional and you will be seeing her again and again, why the additional payment.

I know the money is small but I always laugh when a taxi driver, who drove me from A to be asks (no shame shown) for an additional amount of money?.

Others will have different views.

I think she disparately took 1500 hoping for a tip for good performance to make up for the 500 shortfall. Since you asked, after saving 3500 on the barfine, I personally would have paid the 2000 pesos+ and tipped her 300-500 for good service. Nice of you to pass her name along to help build her income back up.

What is a sufficient tip here in PHP for ST or do you guys generally tip? Tipping has been discussed many times on the forum. Camps are sharply divided on the issue. It seems that at one time tipping was rare and now it has gained a lot of traction. Tipping is one of the worst aspects of western society and no reasonable person should want to introduce it to a place where it is not part of the culture. Pinoys do not tip. Expats generally don't tip and I can't imagine that Koreans tip.

As far as this short time freelancer is concerned, you have already negotiated a price, why provide remuneration on top of that? Further, even in the West, the protocol of tipping is that you do not tip the proprietor of a business and if you think about it, that makes sense. Since this freelancer is the owner of the business she operates, "freelance sales," there is no need to tip her.

Might be tough to find a decent gym but in El Nido there was a gym on corner of main drag that parallels the beach.

Just weights, it appeared to me.

Was recently in PP for a couple of nights. The first night I was free and the second night I had plans to meet up with some mates. On the first night, checked into a hotel near the airport and was tired from a whole day of travelling and just wanted to sleep. But I was also interested in getting some company. It's amazing how the little brain overrides the big brain. Since I hadn't done any research on PP and being tired, I asked the guy who showed me my room where I could get a girl. The Phoenix was close by so he mentioned that one. He also mentioned a place called Hangout but then said if I wanted really good looking "hot" girls, to go to Saralai. The way he said it, you could just tell if he had money, this is where he would have gone in a heartbeat.

I showered and then decided to go to Saralai and not bother with the other options. I am tired and my plan was just to grab the first decent looking girl and bring her back. Saralai is a KTV bar just off the main road going to the airport. It was early in the evening and there were some girls sitting outside in really nice red micro-short dresses. Sexy. The Mamasan was sitting at the entrance. Even though she looked youngish (early 30's), I only knew she was the mamasan because she wasn't dressed like the rest and just looked like she was in charge. Started chatting with her, she welcomed me and walked me to a hard uncomfortable looking two person sofa. Asked me to sit down and I said only if she will join me. She did. I ordered a SM and she ordered an SML. We chatted. She explained how it works here. It's 3,000 barfine, payable to her. The rest is between you and the girl. I am sure I could have gotten the bar fine lower but the mamasan was super cool, we were having a good conversation and I had my arm around her, feeling her tits and body. There weren't that many men there but probably around 15-20 girls. Most of the girls were bored, either sitting in groups or walking around and checking their make up in the many mirrors and trying to make eye contact with you. LOL.

Finally, the mamasan called over 6 girls and they were all really good looking. I chose one. She was 22, really good looking and had beautiful lips that I would love to see wrapped around my dick. She sat next to me as the Mamasan left. I ordered another SM and my girl ordered another SML. Since this was my first time in a KTV bar, I wanted the girl to sing for me. It turns out she was struggling with a sore throat. You could hear it in her voice when she would talk to you. But she said she would try to sing a song and so she sang some Filipino song while I was holding her and her hand was over my dick. Asked her if she wants to come back with me, she said yes and we agreed on what time she would leave the next morning.

Went back to the hotel. The hotel didn't bother checking to see if I need to register her or not. But the guy that showed me my room earlier was there and he was smiling with approval. Got in the room, she texted somebody, put her phone away and started watching TV. I got her to come over to the bed, persuaded her to do a slow strip dance on the bed on top of me, made her walk up to me so her pussy was right next to my face. She gave me a BBBJ and then covered sex in multiple positions. She showered and came back and lay down next to me to watch TV. I moved her hand down to my dick and soon, I got hard again. "Already?" she exclaimed. One more round.

She showered and came back and lay down next to me to watch TV. Some horror show. I moved her hand down to my dick and eventually, I got hard again. "Again?" Another round, shower, lie next to me, hand on my dick, etc, etc. Somewhere in those six rounds, we napped, watched the sequel to the horror show and she also gave me a massage.

In the morning, I still felt really sore and was interested in getting a massage. I asked her if she knew anyone and she contacted her friend. We had one last round, gave her a 500 peso tip which she was happy with. I went to get breakfast and returned back to my hotel room. Reception calls to say my masseuse has arrived. They send her up to my room. She is not that good looking compared to the girls from the night before but probably a 6 and in her late 20's. Charge me 500 pesos per hour. As she was giving me a massage, we started chatting. Everyone wants to know where you are from and how old you are. And I asked her if she would give me a blow job. "I am shy. " Eventually, she relented and gave me a BBBJ. Continued massaging. It was a very erotic massage for me because as she would massage me, for example my arm, I would have my hand on one of her tits. Got me hard again and she finished me off with a BBBJ / handjob.

For a place that I didn't think had much, PP was pretty good. And, I know some people are going to hate me for this, but I like all the Koreans coming in because it means that places like Saralai have beautiful women waiting for you. I think I need to try more KTVs in PI.

Do these city's have an equivalent to a Sogo hotel I. E a hotel which you can rent a room by the hour.

As personally I prefer to keep my hobby private and also not worry about losing anything of value should one of those crafty girls get the better of me.

Has anyone been to Calbayog recently? Its the main city of Samar.

I was there many times in the middle ought and was not impressed. I stayed at the Eduardo Tourist hotel a few times which was the best accommodations in the city and it was barely a 1 star place. I never forget the sign in the room prohibiting the drinking of tuba in the room.

Another place towards the end of my travels was Marju Crisel a place isolated on the way to the airport. It was a decent room but it was situated in the middle of nowhere. I think I was there when it was newly opened.

Has the city evolved at all? I doubt it.

I have a few Samar girls I want to meet this April and I will most likely bring a couple to Tacloban to meet me, Tacloban 100 X more modern than anything in Samar.

Check out Google for hotels if you want to stay there.

No; Samar (Northern or Eastern) hasn't evolved much beyond how it was 18 years ago when I first ventured there.

You have been to Samar before so I assume you remember that in such relatively small communities foreigners stand out and conservative girls are a bit skittish about being seen with a foreigner, and especially about being seen entering a hotel with him.

Tacloban is still stressed by the typhoon; you will not find it as laid back and accommodating as it used to be. It's a different place now.

I recognize that my position (nothing new, many years ago I also was shot down by phils regulars for asking questions as a newb without providing FR's) is a bit put-off-ish for newbs. And yes, we'd like to encourage more quality FR's. I see the dichotomy. I would rather the board Admin put a set of simple rules on each phils page regarding such (ie, like the stinking India threads). The problem is that having any swinging dick asking questions means they just come, then go. Worse, many of them are not really worthy of the answers they seek (they won't purchase a membership, which drives the board). I prefer to having them visit first, post next, then get cozy on the open board. Prior to that, they can get cozy in PM.

The issues about newbies asking or some senior members call it taking and not investing or giving reminds me of what must go on in some providers mind. The one trick pony rider (newbie) comes in blazing, wants it now and cheap with maybe a promise to provide something later. The provider is wondering why should I do this, I don't know you and you haven't really brought anything to the table. Nothing invested, not even a Hello, - how are you doing? Just give me what I want and see you later.

I can see both sides of the issues. It is kind of insulting when a newbie (especially if unpaid) says this is an information board, so just give it to me! The senior paid up members says FU, do your homework and contribute to the board or at least join. Kinda like telling the girl I have paid the BF now spread them. Even though this board is about getting fu*k, no one wants to feel like they got a fu*king.

I think there needs to be a little more romancing between the parties and maybe a softer touch.

Personally, I am traveling to Phillis and that is why I cannot share any info, I have never been to a bloody island haha, this is the sole purpose of this web site. To share what you know about the area. For some threads, yes, for some: no.

I would tell you to PM me, and I will give you any info that I have (have done so many, many times). However, you aren't yet a member (no PM). Please pay up a membership and get a PM before asking for help (that can't be too much to ask).

I also tend to give far more advice these days to guys through PMs than on the open board.

I can also be much more detailed, with addresses and names and even phone numbers. I would NEVER put them o the open board.

I can only ever give this advice if the poster is a member.

I would suggest that Catarman is the "main" city of Samar, as evidenced by the fact that the airlines fly there, it is much larger and it has more hotels.Main city was meant to imply that while not the capital is certainly the largest by far. Airlines fly to Calbayog as well. Before Asian Spirit and now Phil Air. I have chatted and met dozens of sex workers in Luzon from Calbayog and actually none from Catarman and only a few from Catbalogan. There is a huge pipeline of Calbayog area girls to AC Manila.

Check out Google for hotels if you want to stay there.I never asked for hotels. I simply mentioned the 2 most modern ones 7-10 years ago. I was simply asking if it has modernized over the past 8 or so years since I was last there a half a dozen times. Google? That's informative.

No; Samar (Northern or Eastern) hasn't evolved much beyond how it was 18 years ago when I first ventured there.I was looking for more current info but thanks.

You have been to Samar before so I assume you remember that in such relatively small communities foreigners stand out and conservative girls are a bit skittish about being seen with a foreigner, and especially about being seen entering a hotel with him.I have never had any issue with a pinay from the provinces worried about going into hotels and quite the contrary they were always proud to be with a polite foreigner. I always treat the girls with respect as my 'GF' I guess if it were a short term pure obvious prostitution exchange and the hotel was right in the middle of the girls barangay or close by it could be a big problem. Never encountered that situation. I always bring them at least a couple of jeeps from where they live at the minimum.

One thing I will comment about the Calbayog area of Samar that was different than any other province I have been is its rough and crude in the attitudes of the night time crowd in general. They were much more likely to catcall and make comments to the girl I was with than in similar situations in Mindanao or other parts of Leyte etc. The waray tribe seem to pride themselves on their toughness as hard asses. It wasn't threatening and always delivered with a smile but I am sure if I understood the language, which they obviously knew I didn't, it would be somewhat insulting at times.

Tacloban is still stressed by the typhoon; you will not find it as laid back and accommodating as it used to be. It's a different place now.Yes true. It won't be the same as my last visit a few months before Yolanda. I am curious to see the change really. I am importing province girls from around there so I'm not too worried. A recovering Tacloban is still more advanced than 95% of Samar / Leyte I expect. I will know first hand soon enough.

Will be in AC next week and am thinking of visiting Tacloban early March. I think Tacloban is pretty well cleaned up and decent hotels and restaurants have opened back up. I really don't know so I would appreciate any information, advice and etc.

Thanks in advance.

To be fair, I must defend Pompetus Tanks.

they won't purchase a membership, which drives the board. ISG makes money from advertisement and the cost it charges is probably based on how many people visit the forum. When people are discouraged from using the forum, that will make the usage hits go down and the forum will lose money as it won't be able to charge its advertisers more. In any event, as users we don't need to take a proprietary interest in the forum. Use it and have fun sharing info and being HELPFUL.

Well, that's because you are way to early. No one shows up at those places until at least 9 pm. Try Phoenix near the entrance to the airport and next to the Hotel. Again, you are too early but the best place in PP.

And I recommend that you forget about finding a gym.

YM.Improvise. Buy a rope and do some car pulling, hang ups, push ups and sit ups. Buy hermetics 40 kg of tuna, 20 kg in 2 shopping bags and you have freeweights for biceps, triceps and breasts. And don't forget interval training in combination with pumping a small pinays pussy (I recomend 3 min pumping, 2 min rest (she can blow you or you can DATY), 6/7 repeats (while pumping in mish you can also incl push ups ofcourse). Abdomino, back and stamina is taken care off. No need for a gym.

I am presuming you are in Puerto Princesa?

If, indeed that is your location, allow me to note that the KTV's in PP suck and generally empty of clients and attractive girls. Phoenix, the night I visited, was virtually empty except for me and about 15 girls. Since they do a model show when someone shows up, this mitigates the boredom, if and when you choose a girl to buy a LD. After a discussion, prepare to pay a high BF plus your tip / fee for the girl. Since this a Monday, I would expect things to be quite dead almost anywhere but at least you should find some talent at Phoenix. The girls live on the top floor of the building and are not allowed out after their shift, but during the day, something could potentially be arranged by the discrete punter.

Keep us up to date how atleast your networking is playing along.Just a quick update on Equss. It is located on Rizal Ave not far from the airport. The girls are not there to dance. It is a KTV so the owner allows them to sit around all night and play with their phones. Occasionally, a few of them would grab the mic and sing a few songs of karaoke. The bad thing about this is you cannot really checkout all of the girls well because they are spread-out all over the KTV bar and light is limited inside.

The twenty or so girls were not aggressive and allowed customers to come and go without even having talked to them. On three occasions customers came in, ordered drinks, showed obvious interest, but were ignored. Kind of like I was most of the night. If you are looking for fast-paced excitement, Equss is not the bar for you unless you want to grab the mic and sing along with the girls.

Around midnight I decided to wave a girl over to my table. Jack Daniels told me that if I was going to get anywhere with these girls, I would have to be the aggressive one. She came over and the waiter was hovering over us almost before her ass settled into her seat. Her name was Cris, a 22 yr old girl fairly well put together. Cris went from having been damn near comatose sitting at the table with the other girls, to a wildcat in a matter of minutes. She became really playful and seemed to be enjoying herself as she moved in close like a GF and gave me lots of attention. I was amazed! Jack Daniels was right.

After, she consumed one SM Light, three shots of tequila, two juice drinks, and two orders of chicken (which her many friends helped her eat) she proposed to me and said that she could be all mine for the low price of Peso 3500. Having done my homework and read the forum here at ISG, I knew the going rate was 3000. She looked when I informed her of this. She even asked how I knew this if I had just arrived the previous day? I told her it was a secret. She excepted my offer of 3000 and disappeared to get dressed. The waiter approached me with the bill. All Peso 6100 of it. Cheap compared to what one would have paid in some countries, but by no means as cheap as it could have been in other parts of the Philippines.

After I paid, the waiter informed me that my new wife was dressed and waiting for me in front of the building. I met her outside and we climbed on my motorbike and proceeded to my hotel (I'll post later about the hotel). Without so much as a glance from the hotel staff, I was able to usher her into the elevator and into my room where we both took showers and fucked like rabbits for what seemed to Jack and me like hours, but was probably only twenty or thirty minutes. Cowgirl, missionary, and doggy. She was not a shy girl. She even got so excited she sat on my face for a bit and ground her pussy onto my mouth while supporting herself with her legs. I have to say, that is the first time a Filipina has done that to me, and I have been coming to the Philippines for over a decade. It was a good experience.

We snuggled afterwards and she tried to convince me to go away to her province with her for a few days (seriously, no joke). I declined and asked her for a divorce. We settled on Peso 600 as a one-time alimony payment. I walked her to the elevator and out of the hotel, and then I went back to my room to crash hard.

Will I see her again? It depends on how good internet hookups are to me. But I have no doubt I will be dreaming of her when I leave this place.

YM.Yella,

I stand by my advice posted earlier that Puerto Princessa is a strictly BYO girl place. Many visits there over the last 10 years informed my opinion. I was surprised to hear a former supposed Puerto visitor refer to 'expat bars'. Sorry you were misled.

If you are happy with Filipinas close to your own age whatever it is, I am sure any remote province in the Phils can be fertile ground, but PP has zero Bar culture.

Good luck on your quest for a Gym. Your only realistic hope is a spartan boxing gym. If some new style modern gym would be in the Robinsons Mall area heading north to Roxas. That is the growth area of the city.

You are right about there being no bar scene here, but the internet sub-culture is ripe for the picking. I have a girl coming over tonight, compliments of social media. I have a few others on the hook but I will take my time and reel them in slowly. There are definitely some women here willing to play. They are just not in the bars, so use all resources available.

YM.I am glad your alimoney payment worked out. The word on the streets is that you got off easy as I hear these things don't come cheap in phils, hehe.

KTV, hehe, I am a nube in the KTV world but regarding your KTV tactics this was pretty much what happened to me and my drinking buddy in Beijing approx 1 year ago. Bare in mind I was at the time completely shit faced so after beeing to some clubs we ended up in a KTV not far from the Lufthansa building (I remember that one). Well inside there were no customers only some girlie staffs and some brutal big bouncers. I remember I thought I had ended up in prison as the girls wore black and white striped dresses and could easily been inmates. We were escorted to a room and a manager came and took our orders. The girls did not make a move just sitting by themself not even making convos. Instead of sittting alone in the room with my buddy I wanted some girls and told the manager to arrange a line up. All the girls, 10 or so, lined up and we picked two who joined us in the booth. Did not check prices or anything (we were drunk), ordered some btl of whiskey and vodka and the girls started to sing.

In a toilet break I saw the rest of the girls just sitting without anything to do looking like they want to kill themself out of boredom. After some interaction (mildly sexual I state, touching, DFK) in the booth the manager came and asked if it was ok with us the rest of the girls came inside. The more the merrier I thought so why not thinking this was just so the girls did interact and so they could have a bit of fun. It was fun by all means atleast until we had to split arranging the two first ones to join us back to our humble hotel. I was surprised when the check arrived as they wanted 16 k people money. I called the manager to our room just to verify the price telling him in an ironic way I thought he did forget to add something to our bill and statement like "I thought we had to pay for the rest of the girls too" was fired along. Manager told me we did have to pay for all the girls and that wad ofcourse allready added into the bill. He proudly said that the fingerfood and snacks was left out of the bill as it was on the house. Thank you so much. My initial thought accepting the girls into our booth was only as in a social welfare program. I was mildly thinking to make scene complaining but chose based on the size of the bouncers present, who at this stage of the night was surprisingly close to us, to just calm it down, pay, get the girls dressed and leave. Probably a clever choice. My biggest worries was anyway I was drunk and out of vitamins (usualy I use kamagra as a safety precaution) so I thought I might get trouble performing later on.

We hit VICS before wrapping it up in our hotel. I woke up on the bathroom floor in the afternoon and no girl was to be seen. If I fucked her or not I have no idea and if she upon leaving helped herself with some "taximoney" from my jeanspocket I have no idea. But I still had some peoples money left so why not take all if you first have access to it all.

KTV sucks in general. Just kidding. But it is not my style..

I finally found a gym here in Puerto Princesa. It is not a very good gym by anyone's standards, but if you are a hardcore gym nut like me, what little equipment they do have can be put to use to get a moderate pump.

It's located in the City Coliseum on the 3rd floor. Take a towel because they don't have any, and wet naps to wipe down the machines before you use them unless you want to use the shared rag laying on the floor. I'll look for a better gym while I'm here and post more later.

So given there is no bar scene worth mentioning here on the island, I have resorted to using a mobile app called WeChat. It's not a secret because others have posted about their luck using the same app. If you haven't tried it and your traveling outside of bar-scene locations, I highly recommend it. It lists people who are using the app within 10 k of your immediate area. Just send a greeting to girls you find interesting and wait for the replies.

I pulled beautiful Ms. Kim (doubtful that is her name) off the app and into my room last night. Full service included whatever I wanted to do, including anal. So check this approach out punters. Once you weed out the many ladyboys who use the app, you can strike gold!

I'm meeting another outside tonight. She's bringing friends because she is shy. I like shy. They usually turn into wildcats in the bedroom. Happy hunting!

Not that anyone comes here, but I thought I'd provide a note on changes at Goldenfield's for the few that might be passing through.

Anyway, the cluster of girlie bars at Goldenfield's is in the process of shutting down, a land developer having taken it over and being in the process of converting it to retail. All of the bars in the main strip, with the exception of Bunny Ranch and Golden Shadow are now vacant. Sapphire, located a bit further down next to Kundatel and across from MO2, also remains open, under the same management as Bunny Ranch.

Last time I was in Bunny Ranch in January, the price of the VIP room had increased to 2000. Includes four beverages and the company of girl (s) to be paid separately. Last girl I was with there was happy with 500 for full service. I assume take-out remains extravagant, haven't inquired since 2013 when it was 3500+. I don't patronize the Golden Shadow since a shooting there, but I know Filipinos who seem to enjoy it, I believe the prices are lower, and the shooting was a while ago, but I avoid it anyway. Left a bad taste in my mouth, as the best pizzeria in the city, next door closed down after two cops died there. I digress.

Also of now there is a soapy massage, past Kundatel adjacent to Moonlight short-time hotel. I believe the name is Duke's. From what I gather, it's a branch of an exiting establishment in Cebu. 1900 for massage plus whatever you negotiate with the girl for extra. Tried it once, fun but not worth a repeat. The girl I got was pretty but "shy", and wanted 2000 for anything other than a handjob ending (included in the base price) I laughed and passed. HJ ending was not bad, enjoyable, touching allowed but not digits. 2000 for covered FS in addition to the 1900 already paid seemed ridiculous. Services are off premises, they give you a ride to a local short-time hotel (usually Moonlight, right next door,) with whom they have an arrangement. Anyway, it's there if that's your thing.

Finally, the outside bar across from Chicken Alley (really just a mamasan with some local girls who don't want to be recognized in the dance bars their dads go to) continues to exist, this is where I usually go for relief if a regular is not available, I pay 1000 there for short time, of which the mamasan take a cut so not unreasonable. Went there a couple of weeks ago and the regular mama was not there so they tried to charge me 3000. Just explained that 1000 was the price I usually paid and it was that or nothing, and it magically became 2/3 less. Anything the traffic will bear, I guess.

I can't really recommend Negrense or Nuat Thai massage, on the front and back of the area, respectively, as in the ten or twelve times I've been there for a legitimate massage, I was once (once) offered "extra", which resulted in fucking a chubby 6 on the massage table for 1000 tip. Hit or miss.

As far as hotels, if you want to be adjacent to the little action there is, stay at Sugarland. If you want to be near what food and shopping Bacolod has to offer, try L'Fisher (near the good restaurants) or La Planta (nicer, IMO, and closer to Goldenfield but farther from the good restaurants, their own restaurant is actually pretty decent.) The new Ayala up near Silay has some actual passable food but it's a bit of a ride, and the mall food court at the newly-renovated SM Mall isn't terrible. If you are on a tight budget, Saltimboca pension on 16th is okay, and they have a small pool and a nice garden. Check-Inn downtown is also cheap and has an interesting roof garden, right next to SM. There are plenty of others, but those I recommend, marginally. Most of the best restaurants (a relative term) in the city are in the strip from about 14th to 21st on Lacson, L'Fisher is right on 14th.

If you are here on your way to Sipalay, I recommend Sulu Sunset, very nice management, and good prices, or Taka Tuka for a bit more upscale / artsy-fartsy and expensive. Driftwood also isn't bad, but their internet was hit or miss last few times I was there. If you don't BYO (recommended) the guy who runs the tourism office in Sipalay can hook you up with local girls, service charge "up to you."

The best hotel in the area is the Ciriaco. Stayed there for four nights in January 2014. My GF's family is from the area (now ex-GF). The weather was so bad during my stay that we did not venture out much, only to visit the family compounds. But the Ciriaco was reasonably priced and the food ranged from ok to a little below average. Probably the best you can expect in this part of the PI. They even had a singer at the restaurant for dinner every night, which was grating after awhile.

Not exactly a tourist destination, although it is supposed to be the surfing center of the PI. Meet your Mindanao GF here or bring your own girl. Stay at the Tavern Hotel, great seaview rooms, good breakfast buffet, cable, wifi. In Surigao there is no cinema, no Starbucks, nothing much going for this place except peace and quiet. Am here for 3 nights with a friend, and have mastered taking the jeepney to Gaisano, which is about 5 miles from this hotel. There are resorts around the area, but I chose this hotel for the view, plus I am on a budget. Yeah, ok, I'm cheap. They pick you up from the airport in a van, and will take you back for your flight also.

Another point: if you fly PAL, you will be in a turbine prop plane (Bombardier Q400). Geez, first time I have flown in a plane older than me! Things are cheap. My girl got her hair cut for 60 p.

Not bad. Reyes Haircutters in posh Makati will do the same for p50. :PButuan. On Montilla Blvd. Across the street from Karaga hotel, half a block south, is a salon / barbershop. I've stayed at Karaga a number of times, and the place is visible from the room balcony, a whopping 30-40 meters away. In my time there, I see the same young man and woman open the place and close the place daily. I've never seen a customer go in / out of the place. So last year I walk in for a haircut and the price list on the wall said p30. My hair is very short, any barber can use the electric clippers to cut my hair in 3 minutes. The gent barber took his time and chatted me up for about 15 minutes while cutting my hair with electric clippers. He then used a straight-edge blade to trim the hair on my head near my ears, then my sideburns. He put a lotion on those areas. He put a talcum powder on my head. The usual conversation: "Where you from sir?" Like that.

When he was done I handed him more than p30 and walked out the door. I felt, at p30, that I had stolen a haircut; especially since he had given his time in earnest talk with me. He was putting the money in the till as I left. I was about 5 steps out the door, on the street, when I heard him behind me: "Sir. Your money. " I turned to see him holding some coins for me. You keep it lang. "But sir: Your money!" His eyebrows furrowed, his head cocked to one side. Seriously he was not getting the idea that I was tipping him, so I said it out loud: My tip to you lang.

He still didn't smile, he just said "OK. Thank you sir", and stared at me as I turned to walk away towards the Jollibee for lunch.

Robinsons Galleria and Shangri-la Mall (in Ortigas, for example), have simple barber shops that charge 120 php for haircut that includes all the things Westy mentioned as well as a good hard upper back, shoulder and arm massage as well. Bruno's gives you a more deluxe service for 200 php but still the same haircut. Pinoy barbers also give an excellent shave and facial treatment; again, it's very cheap relative to what I would pay back in Oz.

I cannot see how much profit is made given the number of cutters at work and the sort of rents these places must pay.

I suspect the barbers don't get much salary per customer, so most customers tip them; even the locals tip too.

Arrived on CP A319 or A320. I assumed the runway was repaired. The private jet that was blown off the runway January 19 was still there stuck in the mud. Kind of weird on landing as the plane heavily brakes to the end of the runway and 50 more feet and you are into the water. Then the plane turns around to head to the gate. Baggage comes quickly and off to transportation! Many hawkers there. I asked an American if he had been here before. The answer was affirmative so I asked if I could just shadow him. We ended up taking a Jeepney for P50 each to downtown. Jeepney was full and big bags were loaded on the roof. Half way there the jeepney stops. It started to rain lightly so the bags came off the roof and into the jeepney. Everyone was helpful and nice.

Stayed at Hotel XYZ. About $67 a night. Very nice hotel. Brought my own girl. Part 2 coming later.

I don't have any previous point of comparison, but the city is fully up and running. Spent most of my stay with a black beauty I met off a dating site. 23 years old, never been with a foreigner, only 1 previous BF. Hadn't been kissed in 2 years, never been kissed properly. And definitely hadn't ever seen the back of a guy's head in her lap. Ate most of my other meals at Guiseppe's on Avenida Veteranos. No reason to go anywhere else, some of the best grub I've had in the PI. But all that wasn't enough to make me want to stay. What a dump. Noisy, smokey, ugly. And many of the merchants, including hotels, sure don't mind taking advantage of a bad situation. Prices on most everything are jacked up and some locals I talked to aren't liking it much either. Friendly enough girls though. A few cuties working the retail stores, but you don't see allot roaming around for some reason. And the Robinsons way outside of the city proper is civilized and modern.

When I was there in August I was told there were upwards of five thousand UN, military, and NGO foreign workers in town. This was driving prices up so that locals were even being pinched in grocery stores, let alone being able to afford restaurant prices.

And the Robinsons way outside of the city proper is civilized and modern.I should clarify, excuse me. What I meant to say was the song selection and noise level was much more manageable to me, as opposed to the small, old Gaisano downtown. There the jams and unintelligible announcements every minute were blaring so loud through the blown out speakers, you'd have to shout to talk to someone standing next to you. And ya, Skip. I'd be lucky to get a seat in that restaurant I mentioned. Packed house every night. I'd see groups of American accent guys laughin it up with their drinks in one hand and pinay in the other. They won't give you a glass of service water, it was p60 for a bottle of mineral water.

The restaurant at Hotel XYZ is one of the best in Philippines. Kind of surprised as for some reason I was expecting quality in Tacloban. Bad assumption on my part.

I did not see any UN or NGO people around nor any evidence of donor money in any reconstruction. Hard press to see any reconstruction other than ones done by private owners rebuilding on their own. Even the central Aid office was closed. Sad state of affairs for the people.

I went and looked at the temporary housing. 2 x 4 framing on concrete blocks. Corrugated sheet metal for roof. Walls are woven bamboo sheets as thick as wallpaper. 40 mph wind and the walls are over with. 60 mph winds and the roofs are flying off! Theses houses have been almost finished for months but Manila government won't let anybody move in yet.

Amazing how cleaned up the city is. There is a lot of activity downtown. Anyway I did not see any beautiful women around but I did not go to Robinson Mall either. Bring your own if you come here.

If you are not interested in posts with no direct reports or advice for the old in-out, in-out, you should scroll past this post.

This could as easily have gone in the general information thread, but since Dg started this discussion, I offer it as follow-up information. Dg commented on the ridiculously flimsy temporary housing for Tacloban's victims of Typhoon Hiayan, which has yet to be opened by the government. Assuming that Dg recently viewed the same housing I saw in August 2014, I would offer some additional discouraging observations.

First, most of the units are ridiculously small, and much of the living area is on bare ground subject to rain runoff. Second, the framing is of coconut wood, which is among the weakest lumbers anywhere. Third, although some of the units are larger, built entirely up off the ground, and lined with thin plastic sheeting, the smaller units, which are not lined with plastic, will be subject to wind-blown rain penetrating the walls, even if the walls withstand the winds that Dg predicts. Fourth, the only CR facilities are community toilets and showers near the back of the development, and in August they appeared to have no running water. This probably means that toilets will be flushed and showers administered by hand using a tabo to scoop water from a large bucket. If there is no running water, this means water will need to be carried in to keep the buckets full.

Most important, this relocation site, reportedly meant to house the many families in tent cities near the airport, is about six km from town and has no employment, schools, or public transportation (jeepneys) to offer. Is it any wonder that homeless people choose to squat along the shoreline of the port, precisely where thousands drowned in November 2013?

Although this seems far afield of ISG's purpose, I think it illuminates several aspects of life in the Philippines. First, it reflects the total failure of governmental action that is often referenced in posts in the Phils forum. Second, the conditions in these flimsy huts are similar to, and perhaps better than, the conditions in which the families live of many of the poor women that ISGers pursue. Third, it reflects the perpetual dynamics of futility and fatalism—of poverty-stricken masses and political complacency--that pervade the Philippines.

But it's more fun in the Philippines.

I have files containing photos of some of the things Dg and I have described, but ISG is fighting my upload efforts. Maybe files are too big. I will try later.

Skip and Dg. My girl lived in another province, but we visited where her family was staying. Not anywhere near the airport, but way out, around 15 km. There were a couple of these places we passed along the way. It didn't even occur to me to ask if this was the temp housing provided, other things on my mind I suppose. Slightly different than you described, but is this what you guys are talking about? They're also located in just a miserable place. That highway is hell. Dusty and noisy and rough, full of almost nothing but trucks. And ya, they can not even get a jeep out of there during the day, after say 9:00 AM. They load up to the roof in the mornings and head into the city. After that, they're stuck out there. Oh ya, and no electricity.

Oh ya, and no electricity. That is pretty much the type of construction except the 1 x 4's are spaced further apart. The ones I saw were way out of town on a dirt road and spaced about 5 feet from each other. The house sits on cement piers like that. What was odd was that the floor for the attached 4' x 5' CR was a rough finish cement slab about 16-18 inches thick! With that much cement they could have poured a 3" thick foundation for the whole 12' x 14' house. The CR looked like an after thought and of course no running water to the house. The insides were unfinished, meaning no kitchen counters, rough sawn wood floors just an empty shell. These houses have sat unfinished and vacant for 6 months or more. It pretty much looked like the builder ran out of money. Now they are slowly letting families move in if they will finish the homes. Not a lot of money for us to finish the homes, 4-5 K but a fortune to them.

Oh ya, and no electricity.Looks similar Sam, except that your roofs are thatched nipa, and mine were galvanized, like Dg describes. When I was there in August there were not yet any houses up against the highway, only back about 300 meters off the road. But I suppose they could have backfilled. One of your photos appears to have open sewer ditches, which is what I thought were being dug when I was there. Anyway, here are my photos.

Photo 1 shows the simplest and smallest shelters. Imagine a family sleeping in the one small room that has a wooden floor. Cooking, presumably on a small charcoal grill, gets carried out in the covered area on bare ground.

Photo 2 shows the galvanized roof over the shelter. Imagine the heat in the summer under the galvanized roof.

Photo 3 shows the construction up close: woven bamboo walls on flimsy framing made of coconut palm wood, among the weakest of all lumber. This is not unlike homes throughout rural Philippines, except that those are more likely to have thatched roofs of nipa rather than galvanized metal.

Photo 4: A few larger units have two rooms, one presumably for sleeping and one for everything else. Both rooms have floors, and walls are lined with thin plastic sheeting, probably to keep wind-blown rain from penetrating through the outside walls. But check out the cracks in the floor of rough-sawed planks. The smaller units with no plastic sheeting will be very vulnerable to water being pushed through the exterior walls during windy rain.

Photo 5: A community CR, one in a line of about four shower units and four toilet units. No signs of running water, so perhaps toilets will be flushed and showers administered by hand from a tabo of water scooped out of a large bucket. This means water will be carried in by hand to keep the large bucket filled. Dg reports that the units he saw had CRs attached. What I saw had no attached CRs, only these community CRs and showers at the back of the relocation site.

Photo 6: The alternative; by August 2014, nine months after the typhoon, fisherfolk building back squatter shacks at the waterfront of the former Tacloban port, exactly where thousands drowned in Typhoon Haiyan, November 2013. The government claims it is enforcing the "no build" buffer zone. Sure it is. But at least here these poor families can find minimal livelihoods (informal economy, of course), schools, and public transportation (jeepneys) nearby. Can we blame them for not wanting to move six kilometers (or maybe 15, if Sam is right) out of town at the government's temporary relocation site where livelihood, schools and transportation are not available?

Obviously there could be more than one such relocation sites. Why are they being built way away from Tacloban? According to my sources, the Romauldez family (Imelda Marcos' nephew is Mayor of Tacloban) and their associates have access to other sites in the city, but they are holding onto them because of potential future value. So the riff-raff homeless get relocated to nowhere.

Welcome to the Philippines. As I pointed out in the previous post, as crude as these seem, they are not unlike living conditions for the rural families of many of the Pinays that ISGers chase in AC, Cebu, LA Cafe, and elsewhere.

I had planned to go to Alona beach (from Cebu) back in Dec. , but Typhoon Seniang put an end to that. I'm going to try again later this month. I haven't been there in over five years. Any tips / advice?

I will bring my own lady and will likely use Ocean Jet. We plan to stay two nights. Last time I stayed at ISIS bungalows (unfortunate name) and liked it a lot. Seems hard to get a booking now, so any alternative hotel recommendation would be appreciated.

What is a fair price for taxi from Tag to the beach? BTW, I'm a snorkeler rather than a diver. I read somewhere that php2000 is about right for a boat hire. Is that right?

Any info would be appreciated. And here is the link to the Ocean Jet schedule. When I went there last time, there were only three rides a day. I guess business is good.

Arrived Friday night and as expected the little princess was waiting in her tight dress and high heels at the airport. Christ she looked good!

Slim and brown with bum that I love to slap.

Rushed back to the house and had my cock in her mouth before the door was closed. This little powerhouse is just amazing. The whole neighborhood must have heard her screams! 3 hours of amazing sex followed before I crashed out!

Next day was much the same. I love the provincial girls! Could not do enough for me, cooking and laundry and massage and sex on tap!

Following day I had a walk round Robinson's on my own. A few girls there but nothing to compare with what I have so declined the offers.

Tuesday I was walking about the square downtown, Montilla street or something. Plenty available there for the guys who want them. Took a couple of numbers, more out of habit than necessity but always good to have emergency back up!

Should have some time to myself later so will do some more hunting!

X.I just came back from Bohol and there are 3 different fast craft companies serving the Cebu to Tagbilaran route so many choices and times. Buy a sun star newspaper and they have all the scheduled departure times listed. I stayed at cherry Home two and it was nice with a good pool at about 1200 a night. Its walking distance to Alona beach but not on the beach. I paid 300 pesos for a trike from the Port to alona beach and a taxie would be a bit higher.

No water there Baby?

"Yeah. There a water but far in the house".

Is that the place I was at Baby? Is that temp housing provided by the government after Yolanda?

"Yes it is, but its ok. Even its hard to wash clothes because of no water".

How many minutes walk one direction?

"Half hour,"
"Its ok don't worry.."

Even many of the Yolanda damaged water wells are not up and running. See if he's willing to divert some funds from the IJM (who he donates heavily to / underwrites) to sponsoring a few new wells. BrainDrain. I was in Surigao city a few weeks ago. Flew MNL-SUR on PAL. The plane they use is a propeller type aircraft (I posted it earlier) with very little room for carryon baggage. I stayed at the Tavern Hotel, which is right on the water. If you have not been there before, there are no taxis, no cinemas, no Starbx. You have to take a jeepney to Gaisano mall. The hotel is relateively cheap and has a pretty good buffet breakfast, along with good cable channels on the TVs. Enjoy. See my view from my room, and the staff at the front desk.

Fat Bruce. May I know the hotel you stayed at in Butuan? I am planning to travel there in November and would like to be close to the malls / shopping.
BrainDrain. There is one modestly mid-high end hotel, Altamont Inland resort ($100+/ night). Decent rooms, nice pool, nice resto. Its across the street from Dottie's Place (a step down to definitely middle of the road, but with a pool, nice outdoor buffet breakfast next to the pool, and standard spartan roomsm and wifi is only available in the lobby and outside near the pool / breakfast area, not inside the rooms -- maddening) P2000-2500. Both of these places are between the two malls. There is a newer Robinson's mall (only 3 floors, and you can walk all 3 floors in 10 minutes) just a few blocks west of the hotels, fairly clean and air-con'd. The opposite direction from both hotels about 1 mile is the older Gaisano Mall (no aircon, but with movie theaters upstairs).

Just north of Gaisano in the rotunda (city hall) is Balanghai Hotel / Convention center, with pool (p2500/ night). Much like Dotties, a bit older, rooms are dated, free breakfast in restaurant, but with good wifi in the room.

Further east is the downtown area (Montilla Blvd, running north / south), just a few blocks from the river. There are several bland / lower-end hotels here, including Karaga (p1400) and VCDU Prince (p950) Hotels. Karaga has a good resto with a good menu. Across the street is Wegool resto, good sizzling meals (fasjitas).

Also downtown by the city square is Altamont Hotel, a sister hotel to the above-mentioned hotel (P2500).

There is little-to-no 'nightlife', other than perhaps a decent live-band joint called Woodstock (between Gaisano mall and Montilla Blvd).

Hi, Alona Beach is nice and recovered from the typhoon and everything else. I recommend you to stay in a resort right by the beach. I stayed at Regents and it was not good at all. Snorkeling costs around p1000 including the fees. I took.

A boat right by Oasis. You need to take your own lunch with you since it is a daylong trip.

I stayed at the Altamont three times about three years ago and found it barely tolerable. I also though the food was basically inedible, but things may have changed.

GE.I was at the Almont in Butuan recently beside the town plaza. The previous time I was there, they were able to pull together a special order for me, a tuna fillet, mash potatoes and some vegetables. This last time they were out of stock on potatoes. They said they'd prepare it for me if I got the ingredients. So I went to the public market and bought a few potatoes, along with a bag of frozen peas I found. Well, the best part of the meal was the water, potatoes and peas. They incinerated that little piece of tuna, it was actually hard on the edges, and tasted kinda foul. I didn't even finish it. Haha. . I couldn't believe it, I just had to laugh. The cost was p260 or p280 for the "meal" plus p100 cooking charge. The only other place I ever found to eat was True Brew Coffee shop about 1 km south on Montilla Blvd. They put on an edible chicken parm, and even a pretty good breakfast omelet.

There is little-to-no 'nightlife', other than perhaps a decent live-band joint called Woodstock (between Gaisano mall and Montilla Blvd). There's another little place, if you want to call it nightlife, they call it Freedom Park. It's nothin but a few bamboo type videoke places along the river, just north east of the plaza. Kinda hard to find but that's where the younger crowd hang out and party. I fell in with them one night and ended up dating a cute school girl.

I have stayed there 3 different times. The most recent was February 2013. On all three occasions I had a very pleasant experience. As probably expected, I stayed there with my.

Girlfriend. The security is excellent, as there is a gate post that one must pass to get into the complex, and it is always guarded. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I always had.

Good television reception there, with a great many channel choices. I do not remember if there was WiFi. The food at the restaurant is OK. The breakfasts are excellent, with a buffet.

Style for both lunch and dinner. There are always big events going on at the "resort", including birthday parties, and other various parties for the locals. At night, there was.

Entertainment at the bar area located next to the restaurant. Always enjoyable to watch. The pool is very good, and often the parties just mentioned include many young people.

Swimming. The biggest advantage to staying there is the shopping mall which is located around a 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The mall is the only "thing" to do besides swimming.

There is a decent movie theater in the mall, a food court, as well as a few other restaurants. There is a very good salon there and my GF always enjoys going there. The mall is 4 levels, if I remember correctly, and I think I heard that a new mall just opened, but I am not sure how close to the hotel, if it truly is open. The nights are quiet, and I always felt very welcome by the staff, as well as always safe!

Geez, the more I read about Butuan, the less appealing it appears. However, after Surigao city, I will stay there for probably 3 nights on my next trip. Did google the hotel supply, and they have a few newer ones. My friend is bussing in from the province, and she wants to stay in Butuan this time instead of Surigao city. So. Will make the best of it. Appreciate all the input. Will look for "girlie" bars, although it appears there are none. Will check out Freedom Park, and any other place where they congregate / socialize. I thought I saw a "Tunes" hotel in Butuan, or was it another ultra-modern sterile looking hotel? Laters.

Yeah, you are right on both points. My Butuan friend is the same as the Surigao girl, she wants Butuan this time, since it is a shorter busride from her province. I even entertain the thought of taking her for her first airplane ride. And yes, it is the YHotel. It looks rather sterile and small, but the "new" smell is probably still there. Any suggestions? I'm sure some of you have found this frustration, but its a first for me. I'm recently in the province with my gal (previously discussed, early 30's, nothing to look at, but hotter in the sack than a 2-peckered billygoat). I'd decided to do something extra for her (other than the blue note she gets in the mornings before departing to her kids). She mentioned needing some kind of work document, cost about 1000. Perfect, lets try that. She said we would need to go to a government office and make the payment. Fine.

About 10:30 am she txt saying she was on her way to meet me at a coffee shop. 11:30 she txt saying she was just now leaving (7 minute jeep ride). 12:30 she shows up (tardiness is not the frustration, but it can toss fuel on the fire). We hop a jeep, and 20 minutes later the jeep drops us at the government office. The jeep had run all over town before the dropoff. The dropoff was exactly 2 blocks from the coffee shop where she'd picke me up. We blew 20 minutes in a hot jeep to go 2 blocks. That's still not the frustration.

The gov't office was closed. Permanently. A security guard said the new office was in the mall. We jeep to the mall, and as we attempt to enter the office, a security guy says my pinay cannot come in. Why? She was wearing shorts. Really! Really! But, that is still not the frustration.

We were in a province mall, so for p99 we picked up a pair of slacks for her, and she changed clothes in to the slacks. Its now 1:15 pm. She goes back into the government office to file her paperwork (25 minutes in line to get the paperwork). She forgot to take the pesos inside so she had to step outside to get the money from me, which irked the security guy at the door. Once back inside, she paid the fee at the counter (I could see that from outside the office), then she walked away from the window, presumably to grab her purse and leave. But somehow she disappeared, right in front of my eyes. I txt her a few minutes later asking where she was, to no reply. I asked the security guard. "They take her picture soon. She will be back". I walk the mall. Its now 2 pm and she txts: "Coming soon the will take my pic".

I get tired and head to the food court. At 2:25 she txt: "All done. Please come". I go back and pick her up. She hands me a document stating her new documents will be ready for pickup on May 19, and to bring an I Dee to pick up the document. Thinking we are done, and needing a nap, I am ready to depart, hop in a jeep on a hot day, and head back to the hotel. The security guy chimes in with: "Ma'am when you return, make sure you have a Postal I Dee. Its the only I Dee they accept here". She pulled out her Postal I Dee and showed him that she already had one. "No ma'am. That's the old one. You need the new one. Get a new one". Herein lies the new frustration.

I made her stop at the small post office in the mall ask the requirements for a new I Dee. Literally from the two clerks working there: "I don't know". Really! It reminded me a bit like I was standing at the Cebu Pacific counter asking policy questions, only to face blank starting teenage faces. "Just you go downtown to our main office and inquire". So we did, we hopped a tryke and set off. Once there, we had to wait until the clerk returned at 3:30 from her lunch (she departs at 4 pm). She told us that to get a new postal I Dee, the girl should return with:

Birth certificate; Barangay clearance; Marriage license.

"Please return with p414 for the I Dee ma'am and don't forget your requirements. Also it takes 20 days to process".

Whew! Getting closer! HOLY SHIT BATMAN this was turning into a nightmare. I'm sure those documents can be had for a few hundred pesos, but they take time to acquire, and the p1000 project thought of this morning has become a p2000 project and is now time consuming and frustrating. My boss would fire me for spending 5 hours on something and getting no results.

I was curious. I couldn't let it go at the moment. I just HAD TO KNOW. On the way back to the hotel we stopped back in the mall at the government agency. I asked the security guard why they only accept a Postal I Dee for document pickup. "I don't know sir. Maybe you could ask them". He pointed towards the clerks. Well, I think I'll just go ask them. "No sir, you cannot do that. You cannot go in there". Really, is it because I'm not a citizen? "No sir, that is not the reason. You are wearing shorts".

OHMYF*CKINGGAWWWWWD!

Merely five hours??? You should be so lucky.

We now have a good explanation why poverty persists here. The poors don't own the correct footwear to get through the gov't office's door. And trousers.

One of my girls was getting jerked about by her previous employer's HR; she needed a tax document. Traveled all the way from Pasay to Eastwood. Wait and wait. Had to leave without accomplishing anything because her work shift starts at 3:30. Returned another day. Wait and wait. Spoke to HR. "Sorry, the guy who can give you that paperwork isn't here today. Come again. Next!" She texted me her woes. I replied, "Don't leave. Get me the phone number and the names of the absent guy and the person you spoke to. " I called a few minutes later, and using an Indian accent (it's an Indian-owned called centre) I identified myself as Mr. Sachin Tendukar from the HR office in India. I asked to speak to the guy. "He's not here today, sir. " Over the next few minutes I explained that we in HR had received a lot of complaints from former employees about HR inefficiencies and I was upset that I, in India, had to take time from my busy day to sort things out in the Philippines. "Are you unable to do your jobs? Why are former employees having to return time and time again to get paperwork? Why is it that only one person in the office knows how to do the paperwork? This is a violation of company policy. Do I need to fly there and replace people?" The berating continued and then I began directing her what to do. Surprise! Will miracles never cease? She knows how to do the paperwork too. Twenty minutes later my girl walks out with the tax document.

Fortunately I was able to do this from the comfort of my own home.

Want some lowlights of the BDO payroll debit account debacle? A lot of workers don't have their own personal bank account (why???). Employers prefer direct deposit, and it's safe for the employee, so BDO created a special account that is in the employee's name, from which the employee can draw funds. Seems like a savings account. Ooops, spoke too soon. The employee is not allowed to deposit money into the account. Why? No one at BDO could answer that. "Your bank doesn't like money?" Silence. When an employee leaves her job the company ought to deposit the final pay packet into the account. For a bizarre reason some companies prefer to cut a cheque instead. See where this is going? The employee can't deposit the cheque. I guess that cheque is an eff you to the former employee. Does BDO make it possible for a person to convert the account to a savings account? Keep in mind that this person is already known to BDO since she has the payroll debit account. Not at all. A white face asking a lot questions soon brings the BDO manager. He makes a phone call, speaks for a few moments, and... surprise! The cheque can be deposited. Jeez.

Filipinos have a patience that I'll never understand. Often it serves them well, but it also allows ridiculous inefficiencies to persist.

Those are funny but sad stories, thanks. I still don't have the plate for my motorcycle I bought 19 months ago. I inquired with the dealer and she said the issue is for Region 7 and Bohol. But now Manila has printed the plates and they're starting to issue them. But first they are issuing plates for new vehicles sold, so it's still going to be a long time. So if you buy a motor now, you'll get your plate before I do. She said "it's not like in your place Sir". I just laughed and said, it's not like in ANY other place.

My girl was curious, when at the original small post office in the mall, that I rolled my eyes when the postal clerk said she did not know the requirements for getting an I Dee:

* How is that possible?

She was also so in-tuned with the "OH YOU MUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET A REQUIREMENT FIRST" thing that I actually had to explain it to her: You go to the post office for an I Dee. Then you go to a Barangay Captain for a clearance. Then he sends you somewhere else for a clearance to get his clearance (say, city hall). Then that place sends you elsewhere for yet another clearance (say the provincial capital). Eventually you will have visited half a dozen government offices to get clearances. What if each place you visit requires you to go to 2 places to get previous clearances? 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, and on.

Here's another tick-off with the system: WTF, she didn't know or ask the requirements before forking over p1000 to get a document?

You are correct Huts: there is a patience built into the collective psyche that I don't understand.

Have not had the time to update on the trip. Regarding hotels Westcoast has given a good summary. I usually stay in Dotties but this time stayed in small house close to Robinsons.

As I was with the little princess on this trip my spare time was a bit restricted but not without incident!

Normally I am fairly cautious on new contacts from dating sites. Anyway with only a few hours free I made contact with a girl from Butuan and arranged a next day meeting at mid day. Anyway here is me standing outside Gaisano Mall when up trots my "girl. " However, it is a ladyboy haha! WTF? It just shows the value of proper research.

Anyway after sending him on his way I wander into Gaisano to curse myself for breaking my own procedures when this gorgeous mid 20's girl with dyed brown hair smiles at me and I am over to her and her friends quicker than Usain Bolt! She is a nice girl and we had a meeting the next day. Very inexperienced in the bedroom but keen to learn. Will have to see this one again on the next trip!

3 new hotels in Butuan since last June.

1. Go Hotel in Robinson's. Rooms with twin or king bed, same size, all for I believe the girl said p1388 all in (includes taxes, but no breakfast, no credit cards).

2. why-Hotel, south on Montilla. Its the letter between X and Z.

3. Big Daddy's, on Acquino (the highway), between Gaisano and Robinson's malls. There is a Big Daddy's resto on the ground floor, and another BD resto across the street from Gaisano (where the orange trykes gather to drop off / pickup passengers).

Westy!Excellent. Will do further research on these. My friend is taking bus from province - 3 HR ride for her. Same one who met me in Surigao city in March. So, must find something comfortable with cable, etc. Maybe even a pool just to show her off in a bathing suit. Thanks for your report.

Gents, did I miss one?

Hawaii, the 3 new ones are all budget hotels, easily sub-p2000 (or sub 1500).

I was wondering if wechat worked here to find ladies. Bingo. I found a couple, but the attached could come over right away. Big boobs and clean shaven pussy. Had 2 sessions, single mom (of course) who loved DATY, fucked me in all positions twice, gave her 1000 P and a bit more for transportation. Was willing to stay the night, but I prefer sleeping alone!

Enjoy the PHIL.

i woke up to sun coming thru the window and the woman sucking my hard whiz boner. i was on my back and she was down next to me, curled into a fetal position, on her side. her body was at a right-angle to mine. her head was on my stomach using it like a pillow. i could see the back of her head and her chubby back. the back of her head was moving away, then towards my face, and she was sucking deep and slow. i let her do that for about 8-10 minutes after i woke up, she showed no sign of stopping. i had to take a leak like a thoroughbred. we showered and she said she needed to go home to her parents and child. while she was toweling off in the bathroom i stuck a blue note in her purse. she's quite chatty in person, and while dressing she told me that she'd sucked my dick in the morning for almost an hour while i was asleep. really! "yes. already i miss it haha. i go now". and with that we elevatored down to the street and i put her in a tryke home.

more later.I returned to the province recently to visit with a few gals previously reported here in this thread (above). I was fantasizing a bit about being back with the nawty chub. She did not disappoint. We spent two nights and one afternoon together in the hotel. We went to dinner the first night and out for drinks / karaoke. She has a terrible, warbling voice, but I don't think she knows that, and she sings like nobody's listening -- good for her. Must love the province, where you and your date can have dinner and beers at one place, hit two karaoke / videoke places for more beers and song, and walk away having spent p800. Following that, it was a sweaty, knock-down drag-about session in the bed, both evening and morning before she left to get back to her child. Muah! The second night we skipped going out, and made a warm, cozy time (read: hot) in the bed, twice, with TV in between. In the morning she left again, saying she could not come back the third night because she had a wedding to attend. Awww. Damn. Then she mentioned she could come back by in the early afternoon for a short while before picking up her child from school. Yes! Two nights and an afternoon of nawty bliss. The woman really *can* suck a mean dick.

Interesting. She'd shower in the morning, dress, and skip breakfast to get going back home. I'd watch her chubby self dress, then watch her walk away from the hotel entrance to the street and get into a tryke, noting the dichotomy: I've had so many younger hotties, why the heck am I attracted to this older chub? Two things, I think: Her willingness / strong desire to please, and her intense level of horny. When her fat self is walking away, I get a euphoric feeling when I know she will return another time.

Life in the province. Love that cross.

Some were at one of the outdoor discos I went to at night.

I read on this forum a couple of years ago that there is now no available play for pay girls on the island.

Hope that's not true. Please keep us posted of any updates of where to find available girls on Boracay.

Yes, they exist and can be found in primarily two locales. One is a disco club (RTFF) as I can t remember the name. The other option are the beach path walkers who appear around 10 pm or so on and around station one area. However, quite a few LB's in the mix so be careful especially with the tall ones or those lurking in the shadows between the beach and the restaurants on the beach path.

I found girls at this club on a regular basis this past holiday season.

At that time there were 3 discos. I went to the one I think was located in the middle of the three.

There were some freelancers there 20 years ago, when I was there.

Does anyone know the name of the disco that Tomasb went to recently and found available freelance girls?

And it's location?

Are there still 3 discos? Is the one in the middle the one with the freelancers?

Warning: Contains non sexual material.

Wanted to have a look at Leyte / Samar, so I set out of Davao on a road trip. In preparation I renewed my subscription to FC and sent out some boiler plate emails but that was about the extent of the effort.

First stop.

With no prep, I figured Butuan would be just rest, food and a quick trawl. I was right. The pros letching around the plaza in the evening do nothing for me but there's small gaggles of school girls to pick on, with at least one college within walking distance. One never-been-touched 18 year old was hearing it, but wasn't ready for anything as long I was within striking reach, of course. But now that I'm long gone it's time! She's ready, and wants me to be the one... Ah, ukie.

Got a lovely sales lady (18, going on 14) from a general junk store out on a date. (A visit to her auntie's house). But on the way back she had me pull over on the highway and let her off. Later when I asked why, she said because I freaked her out when I was touching her at her auntie's place. I think I just touched her hand and leg. I forgot, that really bothers them. Probably disrespectful too... Oops, sorry.

Surigao.

Made out better in Surigao. On a previous visit, crossing a bridge, I ran into an attractive 18 year old out on her stroll. We got to texting and it was the usual shy girl routine, "I'm busy". (too scared to go out). Realized I was spinning my wheels, so I became too busy to return her texts. But she was persistent, so over 6 months we chatted. She let me in on her deepest secret, that she wasn't still a virgin. I assured her I accept her for who she was--which, according to her texts, was a horny, wanna-be naughty young lady. I thought text sex was cute, as well as an obvious waste of time. But she followed through and was waiting outside my hotel by the time I woke up. Not as pretty as I had in my notes, but great body and even better attitude. Got her in bed and she was ready to get into it. Knowing she was emotionally fragile, in anticipation of what I was about to do to her (and I was hungry), I suggested she take a cooling off period over some eggs. We ate and there was no cooling off. All her text fantasies were about to come true. (Getting tongue lashed and having sweaty sex all day with a gringo the age of her grandpa). Quite a turn around from that shy girl so many months ago. (Pic 1. Where we met--The bridge that didn't protest being photographed. Pic 2. Pebble Beach).

Next up, had a near-sex experience, but exciting never the less. I was roaming the market and something appeared on my left. Plump, almost black, and all of four and a half feet tall. By her size and voice, I jokingly guessed her at 14 but was shocked that she was 18 already. After her work she showed up at Jolibee as promised, and wasn't even hungry!! She agreed to come to my hotel, but part of the deal to lure her back was I wouldn't pressure her for sex. So I didn't care, whatever happened would be good enough. Also to her credit, coming to my place was quite an effort, being so shy and after working 14 hours, and having to be up again in six hours. Got the cute little shorts unbuttoned and the tiny black breasts out. Better than nothing, just making out with such an exotic little creature was a turn on. . Nice girl, hope to see her again. Funny thing, as an aside. The word in her circles is "Americanos are sex maniacs". So I'm glad she's gotten past that stereotype, since her first poriner friend is such a gentleman. (Pic 3).

Leyte.

There's 2 Roro (roll on / roll off) companies that service Leyte from Surigao. I chose Montenegro, which departs from Lipata. The 10:00 am allows plenty of time for the crossing to San Ricardo and the beautiful ride up Southern Leyte to Baybay. Didn't get any action there, and not much else to say about it other than it's got a lovely, well kept seaside boulevard. The two expats I talked to loved to hear themselves say the mafia that controls the money puts some back in. So it's not a comparatively poor place, and there's no apparent storm damage remaining. No mall and no supermarket either, and KFC / Macdo is still a wet dream. Saw a few cuties roaming around, but mostly too young. Some well dressed young ladies hanging around the upscale coffee shop at night using the WiFi, but they had no use for me. (Pics 4-6).

Ormoc wasn't much to write home about either, but allot of expats call it home. Someone said it's not nearly as good as it used to be for women, many left after Yolanda and never returned. And there's boat loads of foreigners coming across from Cebu, which doesn't help. Saw a few cuties scattered around in the mall and streets, and they're friendly enough, just not abundant. Around sunset I got a conversation going with a fair looking 22 year old. Looked hot from a distance but a closer look revealed a funky ass and a black spot between her front teeth. I eventually talked her into a bite at the only decent restaurant I found, happened to be right there by the water. Told her I was leaving the next day, and it was her idea to come help me get my shit together. But all she really did was get in the way. Turns out she had other motives; Supposedly her brother was smashed up in the hospital from his motorrbike crash, so she was just sitting there wishing she could help him. I shot my load, got my things packed, and eventually got some sleep. And she got part of her wish. He won't be flying to Makati Medical Center, but I hope I was able to help.

The star attraction on Leyte was the one I met in Tacloban from FC, which I already mentioned below. The ride from Tacloban to the Leyte-Samar bridge is not a pleasant one, but once you get to the bridge it's another beautiful ride all the way up to Catbalogan.

Catbalogan.

The guide book says it has the best vareity of accomodations on Samar, making it the most logcal place to base for interior explorations. "This is the real reason to visit Catbalogan--in order to get out of it". I would mostly agree with that. But the writers didn't see what I was about to be greeted by. I had exactly one FC gal texting, and she was excited to meet right away! Every 10 minutes a new text, and her brother and sister were excited too. I forgot the golden rule that you shouldn't let them know when you're really arriving. Because I didn't want to meet right away, I knew finding dinner was going an issue. But she looked good in her pics so I figured I'd get the meet out of the way and, if I liked her, set something up for later. She showed up on time and she was hot! 18, body like a Bangkok stripper, elegantly dressed, tight jeans, and gwapa as hell! I couldn't believe it, twice as hot as her pictures.

<Snip> You have been to Samar before so I assume you remember that in such relatively small communities foreigners stand out and conservative girls are a bit skittish about being seen with a foreigner, and especially about being seen entering a hotel with him. That's been my experience, even in even bigger cities. So I knew it was on when she wanted to ditch her siblings and come with me on a goose chase for food. I gave them something for trike and a snack, and off we went on a town tour as it started to rain. If you need something that resembles Western food, don't come here. There's no real restaurants and no supermarket. They don't even have olive oil in the crowded corner stores. I didn't even see any fish or meat I'd want to eat in the smelly public market .

Her profile said she's looking for love. But in person, she's clear that her lover will support her. I'm not the one, but I was more than willing to supply a down payment. So the choice was made. Dinner would be hot pussy and canned raviolis from my emergency kit. If she just had black hair, darker skin, and smaller tits, I'd still be in Catbalogan starving to death.

Next one is kind of silly, sorry, but I'll mention it because I got a chuckle out of it. I had the honor of giving someone her first ever romantic experience. At 18, never even held hands with a boy. It was nothing more than light pawing and groping, but it all happened right on the dirt floor of her little bamboo house. I was outside of town on a bluff admiring the view, and a little voice says Hello, through a tiny window. She asked what I was doing, and naturally I said I was looking for a girl. Finally she says wait. Goes down, and comes up from the beach. Holy shit! She's got a smoking little body! Says she's dreaming of a good man to take care of her some day. And also how the family was behind on rent. So the wheels are turning and I start politely making suggestions. I had her seriously thinking about letting me eat her pussy for a p500-p800 contribution. I don't know where I got that number, but the price didn't matter. It was a matter of haggling over the time frame. She started at "we'd have to text for 6 months first". I countered with 2 hours. It was settled that it would take 2-3 weeks of texting. So I politely thanked her for her time and left. The road dead ends, so I stopped on my way back and that's when she invited me in. (Pic 7).

Finally, there's a place you can stay on the beach for 1,000 a night, and the rooms are clean and spacious. If I remember the name I'll add it later (Pic 8).

Calbayog.

The ride from Catbalogan to Calbayog is another beauty, with sea views most of the way. I remember thinking I'd seen more bridges than vehicles.

Has anyone been to Calbayog recently? Its the main city of Samar. I was there many times in the middle (eighties) and was not impressed. I stayed at the Eduardo Tourist hotel a few times which was the best accommodations in the city and it was barely a 1 star place. <Snip> Has the city evolved at all? I doubt it.Eduardo Tourist hotel has evovled. The rooms now look more like prision cells.

The best hotel in the area is the Ciriaco. <Snip> was reasonably priced and the food ranged from ok to a little below average. Probably the best you can expect in this part of the PI. They even had a singer at the restaurant for dinner every night, which was grating after awhile.Grating is a nice way of putting it. I had my dinner served way out past the pool, by the sea. Below average is kind too, although there's no other point of comparison. Think you got balls? Try the veggie pizza. Fake cheese and sweet BBQ sauce. (Pic 9).

If your budget is somewhere between jail and the luxury of Ciriaco, there are a handful of choices in the p700 range. The supermarket for all your shopping is a small crowded Mercury. And the only Mister Donut is a tiny booth on a corner. (Attended by two rather cute teenagers, incidentally). So I don't know how much it's evolved but, if you like small town, it's still good.

I had exactly one on the hook from FC and she was beeping my phone off the hook. 20, average looking, and white, so I couldn't have cared much less. It wasn't so much the looks, because attitude matters the most generally. But now that the time had come, the texts had digressed into "I'm afraid of danger. Can we maybe meet tomorrow. I'm not going to have sex with you. Can I bring a friend?. I'm afraid of you my friend, you might hurt me or kill me. Are you going to kill me?. " I finally told her, just be at my hotel lobby at exactly 12 noon tomorrow and please don't be late. I'm not going to do anything to you unless you want it. I asked her to text when she was on the way, and left it at that.

Meanwhile, after dark I took a putt around to see what's happening. The late night scene was the 24 hour Bakeshop. After partying on an ice cream bar, I decided to call it a night. I turned the corner and out of the darkness a young girls' voice called out. I circled back and it was two little cuties and a gay boy sitting on the steps. They were tearing it up, high fiving every 2 seconds, laughing their asses off. So after a while they asked if I could ride them home. They stood up and the prettier one had a great body! I'd say 42 kg. 19, tight jeans and tall. So I piled them all on my motorcycle with the hot one closest to me. We rode 20-30 minutes way out the dark road. Those little A cups were pushing on my back and I was rubbing her leg with my hand. I wanted to fuck her so bad. So I dumped them off and we had a plan for the next day. I'd be back, and it looked like me and this hottie were going to get into it.

By the time I woke up, all 3 were texting, telling me to get my ass over there. Finally at 11:55 FC texts "morning". I replied, you're late Sweetheart. Let's just cancel for today please. "No. Please please please. I'll be there in 5 minutes". I told her I would only wait a few minutes, but she called my bluff. I hadn't even finished my hotel saute (yes, I pack an electric stove) and in 5 minutes she was standing in the stairs. She's never even talked to a foreigner before but it was comfortable right away. She sat on the bed with her legs crossed and I was laying on my belly kissing her legs through her pants. Turns out she's got a perfect frame, and quite pretty. Real sweet girl, and romantic. Nice kisses and pretty soon we were shagging. This went on until I planted my sterile load deep inside. Perfect. It's not even 2:00, plenty of time to go see my other new sweetheart.

But this was the weird part. Usually at this point I get up, wash off my dick, and it's over. But no one moved. We just laid there talking. Something about this girl really turned me on. Her voice was so sexy, and she was just so damn sweet. Even had nice breath. We started making out again, and in a minute my dick was raging again. I'm usually not good for a second shot right away, but we ended up spending the rest of the day shagging each others brains out. Thanks FC. Lovely girl, still texts sweet messages to this day. (Last Pic).

Conclusion.

By the time that was over, it was dark and too late to go see my other new friend, and the only weekly ship to Cebu was leaving in the morning with me on it. That's my regret--I fucked up. I should have missed that boat, and I should have stayed longer in every one of those places I found something good. Starting with the black beauty in Surigao. I still haven't found anything that good since. Miss Tacloban blew my mind--She was dark, hot and hairy. I should have stayed there for a month. The race model in Catbalogan, and my 2 guapas in Calbayog were all worth taking an extended mangos and bananas fast. I was in too much of a rush for no good reason. I had my cooking gear, next time I'll pack Valium. I hope Samar don't change much anythime soon.

Wanted to have a look at Leyte / Samar, so I set out of Davao on a road trip. In preparation I renewed my subscription to FC and sent out some boiler plate emails but that was about the extent of the effort.

This is an excellent FR of far-flung places that we don't see too often. Thanks for putting in the time to write it.

Readers, don't let his warning dissuade you.

Why go to Butuan? Not for mongering. I went to meet my friend there (same one I met in Surigao city last trip) and spent 2 nights, one at Almont city hotel and one at Almont Resort. I took PAL, which left MNL at 5. 10 am and arrived in Butuan at 6. 35 am. I was in line at the MNL terminal 3 at 4. 15 am. I had to wait in line OUTSIDE, dripping wet from humidity, for 30 minutes before I got inside the bldg. Then another 30 minute wait to get to the counter for the boarding pass. Get on the plane. Land at airport. Look for driver. "The driver left, sir". OK, someone at airport calls the hotel, who calls the driver. He comes back. He has my name card on the seat, but left without me. "Don't you think you should have waited for me?" "Sorry, sir". Get to Almont city hotel.

Almont city hotel. Good location, right in heart of city. Plenty of shops, etc. Room has old plumbing, my room had 2 beds, one single and one double. "No bigger bed available, sir". One night there, then transferred to Almont Resort.

Almont resort. Down the road, 100 yards back from highway, ground level rooms that are too big to be cooled by the A / C. They gave me a jr. Suite for 5,000 p a night. A\C was adequate, but the remote was too weak to change the TV channels. OMG.

Butuan. There are no metered taxis. Jeepneys only. 8 pesos. There are 2 malls; Robinson's, with A\see, and Gaisano, without A\see. All our time was spent in Robinson's. If anyone reading this decides to go to Butuan, for whatever reason, I would recommend the GO Hotel, which is directly attached to Robinson's mall. Rooms were 1700 p at the time, and it you want to "score", it is easier talking a girl (s) into going there, which can be entered directly from the mall, than going to your Almont Hotel in the city where everyone will be talking about her.

Go Hotel. Rooms were 1700 p, plus it cost 220 p for a taxi taxi from the airport. Rooms are "small" by most standards, but they are new and functional. No wasted space. There are other hotels in the city, but this has the advantage of being connected to the mall, where most people go anyway.

I spent two days in Bacolod. Stayed at Westown San Juan. It is very close to SM Mall. Rooms are not very comfortable. Next time I will stay at L'Fisher Hotel which is much nicer and close to Starbucks. It is not a big mongering city but lots of girls around. I had a lady with me so I did not troll.

So, this was the end of my "backpacking / Monger" trip around SEA, from Newbie to somewhat experience.

El Nido is beautiful beach in Palawan island, they have some bars and karaoke but nothing serious (close at 10 pm max 12 am), but there is one call the "Reggae Bar" everyone knows about it and it's not difficult to find, is the only thing open at midnight. So there I went to the bar lot of backpackers and mid 30's 40's couples, on the outside of the bar in the beach I spotted some local girls waiting like to have a chat, then this happened there was this stunning girl (like 19 yo), that was with a clearly lady boy, so I got suspicious about this, and just stay in the bar a few more minutes until they both approach me, and couldn't resist to ask if them both were lady boy, the stunning looks offended and left, then the other told me that both of them were lady boys. So I just decided to left the bar and head back to my hotel.

On my way back I got the needs to at least try, so I did found a couple of "tuk tuks" on a corner, quietly approach at one of them and ask for boom boom, the guy didn't know about any girl so start yelling to his other mates, haha that was funny to see each one asking for any WG. So nobody give me an answer and decided to keep with my business, of course I walked slowly in case some of them know something they could catch with me, and so it was, one of the guys approach me and told he can fix me, the funny part, there was a nice looking girl with him so I was already happy to see that the girl is available, well no, seems to be his girlfriend or something, so I just get up to the tuk tuk and went to a house on the outside of El Nido (read: 1 minutes).

Here comes the funny part, so he seems to just visit a random friend house or something because the girl was asleep, clearly just waken up (it was 1:30 am), and because I didn't want to use my hotel, we have to find somewhere else, that was the hard part, the girl didn't want to be noticed and me neither (I was travelling with friends who doesn't need to know my business), after 30 minutes wandering around we found one room that seems like a farm, literally, anyway I just need to have sex I don't mind the place. Like about 3 hours with some relax intervals and then she goes because if later it would be too obvious for everyone to notice.

The girl a MILF in her late 20, very energetic, a bit chubby but did the work. It cost me 2000, which was 500 for the room, 500 for the taxi and 1000 for the WG.

Conclusion, there are WG around El Nido just go the Reggae Bar.

Cheers

My girl got her hair cut for 60 p.I know this is an old post, but just reading though some of these as I can't sleep.

The surfing spot is Cloud 9 on Siargao Island (I believe there is a ferry from Surigao). No modern hotels at all, but they do have some nice be&be places. It was my first time outside of Manila / Cebu and it was quite a shock to me. The only semi-transportation was motorbikes or trike hires (there were Mini-vans from the airport).

For me, the worst part was the mosquitos as I am semi-allergic to bites. I swell up pretty easily and seem to attract them. I wore pants and long sleeves at night, but then my body heat would attract them even more. 1st place I stayed had good air-con, but there were slits in the door. 2nd place had terrible aircon and there were slits in the floor. The mosquito nets did not work very well and I woke up with a bite on my lip one night. I probably could have planned a little better as I ran out of a weak small bottle of repellant.

After that experience, I am wary of going anywhere without a modern hotel and aircon.

Pic 2. Pebble Beach).I had my first trip to Surigao this year. I have to say that the provincial life is quite nice and the people in general very friendly. Seems easy to find the right girls if you have time. Generally I think foreigners are worried about the dangers outside the major cities. I felt safer in Surigao than in Manila / AC for sure.

My girls in Surigao were sourced from dating sites or from local recommendation.

Enjoy.

Just walk by the roundabout in the city center. Directly behind the tourist police you'll find a brothel with very young, good looking girls. Or just talk to girls walking around (mostly two girls hand in hand). They will easily come with you for a drink or sex. No problem. Pricing: They don't even ask for the money, it's up to you to give as much as you think.

2015 CDO trip.

Plane took a very very long time to get me to CDO, I have to wonder why I choose to come to such a far flung corner of the Phillipine Isles to monger. But finally got there and checked into Seda hotel, Staff there are good, probably seen a pile of middle aged single men roost there for a day or two before me. They know how it works.

Free on first night so head out to Divisoria to check out the clubs. About 8 or so in total all up, dotted amongst the night crowd, dogs and pisssss alleys of Divisoria. (Heh Heh, up yours, you stupid censorship software) The clubs are not what they used to be, less clubs, less quality and mostly the same clothes wringer revenue model. A couple of hotties were in play though, but after OS applied the baby filter that number reduced by another 50%. A feature of Divisoria as a red light district is that the places are dotted over several streets and you must wander up and down to visit each place. Streets are in a standard arrangement so this is no big deal but lots of street touts plying for business with girls of varying quality and age. Of the 3 I took the time to look at none had ID so left that idea on the corner, one was shy of foreigner. Although the area could potentially be unsafe, I have never experienced any aggression or anything untoward here but the touts and corner girls do see you and proposition you.

Back in the clubs and that sweet girl I thought might come with me didn't want to be barfined, always a bit disconcerting when you get the knockback from a bar girl. But that's democracy!, back over to the old Spooks bar which had a couple of really nice girls but they were at tables so taken. Mama does the baby filtering for me and comes back with a girl who was ok to barfine. Barfine 3000 and back to hotel but service was terrible, just a mixture of ignorance and apathy. Couldn't wait to get rid of her. Funny Am not sure if the Phillipine model of lady drinks and barfines is my thing. These girls get a short window in a noisy bar to size you up for a prospective lone trip to a remote hotel room. They are flat out reading the cues, your speech, your manner, are you kuripot? Will they be safe with you? And then at the end some make it very clear that this was always just a transaction. I think this is what I like about The Javanese brothels in Jakarta where a more formalised system of being respectful exists. So sometimes the formal can enable the informal, hmm need to work that out.

Day 2 spend a little time working on some DIA prospects then message my scholarship student. This little 20 yo with a sizzling body is over in a flash and before I know it, OS is involved in some extended chonka chonka chonka. Ah the paradox of the Phils! Heaven one day, a crappy $% smelling street the next. 8 hours later See Miss Bukidnon off on the 7 hour bus trip to Bukidnon with a big bag of chocolates and donuts for family there. Its nice. I have been sponsoring this girl through university now for two years and she is both honest and appreciative. But for those contemplating this sort of thing, be clear that the bar girls are much cheaper, but it is a real pleasure to see her get through university when otherwise she would be breeding piglets and having babies in some far flung province and she has the resolve to get somewhere in life so why not? And she is delightful and so ready to provide me with some discreet occasional pleasure in return. Feeling good!

Will keep working up the DIA girls today. There is a considerable logistical endeavour in this game but will get a little more sleep and then start texting. It's quite good fun. Stay posted folks!

Enjoy.

Stop worrying about your language and post us at least one descriptive field report. Your language is good enough to ask for help, then its good enough to post a report (have someone help you with it if you need). We call what you are doing "taking without giving" (its selfish).

Hmm. I think I will try Mexico next. Does anybody know what the weather there is like?

Well for those who breathlessly awaited round 2 of OS's exploits in this far flung destination. I can only report disappointment. Nada, Zip. A whole day spent texting, plotting and scheming to lure these Southern Filipina Belles to my lair for nothing. It would seem these ladies are more astute than we give them credit for. "Ooh yes I will being there" turns to, "what is your business here" , turns to "how many times you been to CDO" My student told me that this town is not so big and to be seen with a foreigner instantly starts the rumour mill. Thats OK.

Theres a lot of pretty girls wandering around in the malls and with a bit of time they could certainly be finessed, I think these girls can read impatience and most certainly filter the bullshite.

So today farewell to CDO. "I is the leavings for Jakarta" "ada yang baru dari kampung menungguh saya".

The funny bit is just one day after Idul Fitri I have message in my FB inbox from some dirty sod in Jakarta that wants me to come and do his wife. Got to love the devout ones.

Bye for now.

This is a classic case of what on the UAE board they call 'manager class'. You have posters claiming they monger a lots, they promise FRs after you give and then disappear again for a long time, resurface with same FRs a year later.

Not harassment but sensibly pointing out what is expected. Plenty good examples of great newbies posting great FRs, but plenty of other who ask, promise, never deliver etc.

Well said Westie, we should give you a medal for you eloquence LOL.

I haven't spent a great deal of time in CDO, but pretty much get the same feel. Although you might as well be writing about Iloilo, Butuan, or Kidapawan. If you like torturing yourself and you play enough of those texting games you'll get good at it. With practice you should be able to copy and paste your next answer and be ready to hit send when the question arrives. Sometimes I just send a boiler plate short paragraph that answers them up front.

Ya, some can eventually be finessed, as you say. And being able to read impatience is a good way of putting it too. I'm working on one of those type now. I managed to lure her in for a second meet using ice cream. They want to be able to trust you enough to know you're not a sex maniac. Even if in the end that's what she turns out to be.

I am planning another trip to Mindanao later this year. Last time I went it takes 2-3 days to build the trust, as OffshoreSwell details.

On my android phone I downloaded Fake GPS which worked with WeChat to give my location as sitting in Butuan. I made contact with a couple of the local WeChat contacts and started the building process. This only needs to be done no more than a week before though. So, I've turned that feature off and will wait until I'm ready to depart for RP.

Thanks for the FR as we don't see too many from this city! Yes conservative CDO is a special case where it takes more work and time to get into girl's panties. Most of the girlie bars are a disappointment But the discos can yield good results if you are willing to get onto the dance floor.

After hours there is a huge streetwalker scene in many sections of the city. Many are students trying to raise money so YMMV. There are also a few places where expats congregate and available women show up nightly. My best results have been referrals from locals and expats!

Funny part of it, they also keep history of the posters and also do have entourage. They have no problem of ganging on posters. Later they question why people do not post Field Reports. I wonder why!.Not quite so. I'm one of those advocating to keep the 'Steel Bones' and the like away from the phils boards. He has a whopping two posts: questions. Even if we ignore his current lack of descriptive FR's, the history of such gents is that they rarely come back after we give them decent advice and post a quality FR. Please, no "taking-without-giving" dudes. You won't see me decrying a lack of new posters. I want new posters also, but not at the expense of diluting the threads. There are better ways for new posters to gain access here.

Here's are two more dudes I'd like to not see posting initial questions:

1. The experienced newb. Gents I'm a long time monger of {XXX} country, making my first trip to Phils. Where can I find a {good hotel} {hot chick} {seafood restaurant} {etc}? What's the best way to get to AC from Manila?. Really. Did you PM anyone before asking that? Nope. Did you RTTF, where the question was answered previously? No you did not.

2. The experienced lurker. Gents I've been traveling {or living} in Phils for several years. Long time lurker, first time poster. How do you get the girls to {pose naked} {do lesbian} {etc}?. Really. Did you PM anyone before asking that? Nope. Did you RTTF, where the question was answered previously? No you did not.

To all of these: the newb, the experienced newb, and the experienced lurker, there is a better way to enter the board:

AAA. Buy a membership (see CCC below).

BBB. RTTF and Google.

CCC. Hit the regulars up in PM with un-answered questions (keeps the open board free from the drivel above. Admission: my own posts could be seen as drivel also). Its rare that I don't answer a PM with quality info (except passing out girls names / phone numbers).

DDD. Post a descriptive FR -- *then* feel free to ask questions.

Examples include LOso69 when he visited e and Abu Dhabi. Sent me a Word doc with comments and questions based on his excellent RTFF. I did the same on my fort trip to the Philippines. For me it shows effort.

Here is an example (very recent) of a not so good FR from Dumaguete.

http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?1876-Dumaguete&p=1748594&viewfull=1#post1748594.

Pip J was very polite but firm.

So this is not discouraging new posters but making sure al these so called promises etc are kept before they ask.

Look at the India thread of you really want an example of how bad it can be and read the banners at the top The UAE thread is moving that way also and when someone does call people out for laziness (IMHO) they have others saying be kind and reply nicely. Why? If the newbie can't be bothered to RTFF, Google etc for 5-10 minutes then clearly he / she is a taker not a giver and as Westie says it is both ways.

Can you clarify what your position is on this bulletin board? Do you have an ownership interest or employment?

Not quite so.

Can you clarify what your position is on this bulletin board? Do you have an ownership interest or employment?I think you will see two camps of thought. One says let everyone post anything. For instance, should the Photogallery be limited to picture posters? Some will say yes, while others will say open it to anyone making comments.

In the same way, should these threads be open to questions from anyone? Some would say yes, others don't want it to be that way.

I have no ownership interest or employment options here (and I am not eligible to win any ISG prizes). Just expressing an opinion.

Funny part of it, they also keep history of the posters and also do have entourage. They have no problem of ganging on posters. Later they question why people do not post Field Reports. I wonder why!.

I learned on the fly and have kept reading ever since. These bad guys live there. I guess I am part of their entourage as they live in the Philippines, have knowledge about what they speak and offer comments. Only once have I been called out and that was by WC who gave his interpretation of what he considered my conflicting posts. In my mind it wasn't worthy of a response and that was that. But I have also felt comfortable sending PMs and asking questions which were answered. If your looking for advice on avoiding scams, RTFF. If your looking for advice on room rates buy a membership and send one of your list a PM. There is a lot of useful information that will not be posted on an open board.

You know, I don't recall asking any questions prior to my first trip to the Philippines. What I do recall was buying a membership and then reading the forum voraciously to the point where I thought I knew everything to expect. I'm seldom a P4 P guy so I used what I learned here, took to the dating sites, and made contacts that I thought would work for me. Some worked out, some didn't. The worst and best were a woman who convinced me she was wealthy and even invited me to her upscale home complete with maids. She was a magnificent fuck who in the end cost me a 30,000 peso loan that has never been repaid. It's life and you learn. I still keep in contact with her. She has acknowledged she played me, but accidentally of course. She now lives in a much smaller house. As GE, who I assume you also include in your list, said after reading my post, she likely had been rich and was looking for one last chance to maintain her lifestyle. Risk, reward. There are somethings you chalk up to experience.

In the grand scheme, 30,000 isn't a huge amount, I got laid many times, and we keep contact. She's a nice lady and I don't sleep with her anymore, but she does try to line me up with her friends now. :) So far they have been butt ugly so a no was easy.

Membership has it's privileges.

Are you a self-appointed moderator here? Can you make it clear please?Nothing. Period. I'm saying there are basically two ways to run the board:

1) Let anyone post anything he wants. 2) Keep some kind of order to it.

I prefer #2 (as does WR). You all will do as you like. There was a similar discussion recently on the Photogallery thread. Some folk would like to let anyone there post anything. Others would like to see the PG used by picture-posters only (that's my preference, keeping comments on the PG Chit-Chat thread). I would argue that both sides get to present their views.

Like Amanut, a long time ago, one of my first posts in the Phils section was a vague question: Whats a good hotel to stay at in Manila. I got shot at by several of the old guard, telling me to keep the inane questions from a newb in the PM. One of those gents PM'd me with a good suggestion for a hotel in Makati, and reminded me to stay off the open board until I had a report to give. I went on to PM several other board regulars and got good suggestions from those nice gents also. This has been going on for a long, long time. I'm not saying its the 'right' way, just the way that I prefer. Anyone may dissent.

Have to agree with you on this issue as I have also noticed the steady drop-off in contributing newcomers.Because Buko is a long-time member and writer of informative FRs I took his criticism seriously. A few years ago WC and I debated this very issue, and I was one who felt being as helpful as possible had its merits and would pay off in great FRs. Experience proved my assumption mostly wrong. I still post answers if I feel a newb has made an attempt to ask a decent question. I check the board just about every day so I have a feel of what's been discussed recently and what hasn't. When it's been several months since the same question was asked I usually will jump in because going back 25 pages or so may not be realistic for most. Anyway, by the time someone leaves secondary school they should be able to ask specific questions and understand the basics of searching to gather information. From time to time we see people here who are unable (or more likely unwilling) to do this. If English competency (not to be confused with fluency) is so beyond their skills they really ought to look for a board in a language they can function in.

The drop off can be attributed to many reasons. Sure, some are put off by the reception when they post the most general of questions that are easily answered by simply reading a half dozen or so pages. I also see far fewer questions about where to get Viagra and how to get to AC from Manila - we used to get swamped with those. I may be to blame for this since I posted a few guides in the blog section addressing these frequently asked questions - I grew weary of the same questions being asked repeatedly. Perhaps guys hit the threads, see the statements that they ought to read first, so do, find the answers they need, and move happily on.

You won't see me decrying a lack of new posters. I want new posters also, but not at the expense of diluting the threads. There are better ways for new posters to gain access here.I concur. I will point out when we get good FRs from newbs, and we have gotten some really well written and informative ones in the past month or so, WC has added them to the Reports of Distinction.

So, with your own words, you are a user / participant of the bulletin board like everyone else. So, what makes you think that you are so special post or enforce rules here? Are you a self-appointed moderator here? Can you make it clear please?More than the photos he posts, I think WC, who is highly respected member of the forum and who has received a lot of praise from new paying members for the help he's given them via PM, has earned it. He isn't a formal moderator, but if anyone here deserves such distinction it's him.

I'm grateful he's here and the results of his effort are plain to see: the best board on ISG. You may argue with his methods, but you can't argue with success.

In conclusion Mbsl, if you dislike seeing RTFF posts you can do something about it: Post answers. Actively monitor the threads and promptly offer your informative answers.

That's one of the benefits of membership; you can send requests for and receive tips from other members through PMs.

Most of the lazy questions come from newbies who discover the board and immediately fire off some inane request that regular readers know has been "done to death" in many different places. I just skip past them nowadays; I cannot even be bothered reminding them to RTFF. What's the point of encouraging lazy newbies who (in WCs words) take but don't give (rhetorical question).

OTOH, if they are lazy but paid-up members, then I sometimes send them a PM and remind them to either read back on a particular thread or nominate some selected posts by number in response to their question, despite its apparent inanity.

This behavior of posters like WR and West Coast appointing themselves as judge and jury has been a thorn in Jackson's side for years. He has said many times that the biggest problem on the board was these self-annointed 'judges' who have the effect of making others reluctant to write. This debate on the running of the Philippines board continues here in "Other Areas". I am going to cut and post this reply of mine into the "General Info" forum, as I think it more appropriate there. I hope this does not upset Mbsl65 who seems to prefer an undisciplined approach where anything could be posted anywhere.

I'm saying there are basically two ways to run the board:

2) Keep some kind of order to it.

I prefer #2.I agree with your opinion Westcoast. But it is a free board where it is so easy for anyone to post anything, anywhere, (like here under "Other Areas" We do need some form of disciplined approach and order. And it is through guys like yourself WC that the Philippines Forum is one of ISG's better ones. I also agree WC with your stance on the "Photo Galley" being for posting of photos and not being clogged up with other comments when there is a separate "Photo Gallery Chit Chat" for photo discussion and feedback.

But, my opinion, I do disagree with you WC on the need to post a field report before you can ask a forum question. I don't mind questions from anyone, newbies or otherwise. But questions where the answers are pretty obvious with a simple scroll back in the forum or a simple Google search, should be exposed for what they are -lazy research. I am with you WC on those that keep asking questions, but never see a report of the ultimate exerience.

Good to see you posting again and with such intelligence and foresight. Best read all the posts from KK, RK etc before you comment as you ten to shoot from the hip at times and then get annoyed when others all you out. Read what has been said and you will see no one appoints anyone as moderator or whatever, just there is a modicum of order and understanding. Where you normally post does not have that hence you see anyone trying to male the thread readable and enjoyable (and not full of inane, lazy, and outright stupid FRs).

Go to the Indian board and if you truly want that style of thread ask Jackson for you own so you handle all the "where is a good hotel in Manila" or "please send me her digits bro" questions. WC, KK, RK et al (including myself) would be happy not to read that rubbish so the Philippine thread is more informative. Or do you prefer chaos and banality? LOL.

Gents,

I am reading this as outsider to PH but we had and have similar situations on boards I am an only a regular member too.

I have seen boards literally get destroyed by this.

This is for f* sake a mongering board and not Queen Elizabeth coffee chat. There are personalities here that are strongly opiniated. That is good. They may go overboard at times. But they are the heart and soul of the Board here. If you not like them or their opinion move on. Ignore it at your own loss. But stop behaving like YOU own things here. Without WC, WR etc there would be very little info. And they earned their right.

If you move to a new neighborhood you do no start telling the incumbents what to do. Or do you?

Giving people feedback that what and how they say things may be not the best way to do it is of course a good thing. But this aggressive behavior only suits egos. It surely does nothing to improve the situation for others.

What I read here makes it very clear who is trying to be helpful and who is not.

When I started here in another geography I got a lot of help from people like WC etc. I was very grateful even I did not like all I heard and clashed with people. But I first tried to contribute and then induce changes. Not bash in the door shouting.

For a time we had an exceptional board. Now the discussions are only noobs asking question without any RTFF and old hands getting attacked for being unhelpful. But people only ask and criticize. Few are giving back.

So information wise things are as bad as it gets apart from the pm help given by people like WC etc.

These boards live from our participation and mutual respect. Which needs to be earned. WestCoast maybe judgmental at times and only be a normal member. But his contributions give him that right a thousand times.

IMHO. And stay as you are!

Not to mention the appeals to the "monger brotherhood code".

One of the culprit is you and you are expecting me to complain about you. Why should I? I am calling your BS publicly and it is more than enough.Already I've somewhat agreed, and acquiesced to your request. The reason I mention the 'Report Post' button are:

1. There is a way to complain to Admin (other than just the public complaints here), and I want everyone (not just MB) to know what that is, and 2. I don't mind if you report my posts. I'm sure others have done so in the past. However since I've never been warned (or even contacted) by the board Admin, I doubt it will get you anywhere.

The phils boards somehow got 'hijacked' long before I got here (1990's?) by the old guard. I was simply proceeding in the same mold (sorry you felt it was BS). If the gents want a change, then I'm game (and am now repeating myself regarding such). Probably we'll have to agree to disagree on the way to operate the board, but I've already stated I'm willing to do it differently. That decision is not based on MB's publicly calling the method BS, its based on the writings of various gents. BTW I've been contacted in PM many times both recently and in the past over this issue. There are guys who really really don't like the current method, and guys who really really don't want to change the current method of newbs not posting questions. Each side seems fiercely adamant. I've told many of them to post their thoughts in the public forum, but they did not.

Marianne Suites, CDO. Budget hotel, not far from the Ayala mall. Tiano Brothers at corner Luna streets. I got the largest room (which ain't that big), with a queen bed, + breakfast, p1700/ night. They are now accepting credit cards. The wifi was modestly good all the time. The hotel is about 2 years old, so most everything is new. Non-smoking hotel. Simple, plated breakfast. When I had 3-somes spend the night, the third breakfast was p105. No problems bringing girls in / out any time of day. The rooms are carpeted, with a mirror and a shelf, but no hanging closet to hang my shirts. Its a block from Velez street and MacArthur park (also called de Lara park).

I was in the Philippines for about six weeks last year from December to mid January. I spent time in Makati, Boracay, Palawan and AC.

I am returning to Manila this year in December for a few weeks and plan to stay in Makati and also would like to visit Puerto Galera but there is very little recent information or discussion about this destination. After RTFF, I determined that a few years ago, the local captains tried to runoff all the FL's from the area because they were cutting into their BF profits from the neighboring bars. However, not sure what the current status of this situation is or if it is worth a visit, either for the girls, beaches, or general ambience. There was also some general discussion about a proliferation of LB's but most of this information on the forum is several years old.

On my last trip, I met a veteran ex-pat who extolled the virtues of Puerto Galera but at the time, I had other destinations in mind.

He said of all the beach destinations in PHP he visited, this was his favorite and the one place he would consider staying for a longer term.

One nice thing is that one does not have to fly to get there from MNL like Boracay etc.

Tomasb, I was in Sabang beach last October and had a lovely time despite having the flu. My wingman returned this April and had a great month long stay. Here are more than enough freelancers, if you go to the clubs in the little alleys they are aplenty. The old reports still count for much, however you will pay more than claimed for hotels than stated in those reports. Check the reports of disitinction for a guide.

It's roughly six hours from Manila, personally I would not stay longer than five days though, bit slow paced for my liking however an ideal island beach to retire to.

I need advise from the local experts. I have a friend that lived in Illigan City. So the idea would be for me to fly from Manila to Cagayan de Oro where my friends family would meet me.

Then together we would go by taxi to their home in Illigan City.

But. Since I am a "gringo" Westerner. Everyone I know tells me not to go. That is it very dangerous for a Westerner even in Northern Mindanao.

Now I would dress so as not to attract attention but the face I cannot hide.

I travel to all parts of Asia so I get around.

Are the dangers rear? Should I not go in fear of this or that?

I would really appreciate some true feedback as I really would like to go. But. No sense jumping into the fire.

Many thanks!!

Then together we would go by taxi to their home in Illigan City. You could. You did not elucidate who your "friend" is. An online dating contact I will assume? You could take a taxi. Most folk will take a bus. If her family comes from Illigan, they will take a bus (taxi's are expensive, pinoy take jeepneys and busses). In fact, the bus trip from CDO to Illigan is about 2 hours, and the airport is about halfway between CDO and Illigan. Might be better to catch the bus or taxi from the airport to Illigan, rather than traveling east from the airport into CDO (one hour), then traveling 2 hours west to Illigan.

Are the dangers rear? Should I not go in fear of this or that? Its much smarter to invite your girl to CDO, and for both of you to stay in CDO. Don't allow her bring more than one other person there to meet you, and then only for a brief amount of time (an hour: introductions and some small talk, then lose the friend). However, I can see since you've mentioned family, that the family thing has already been discussed. Is your intent to meet the family for the sake of legitimately dating / marrying this girl (that's what her family will think)? Or, to just pork her (that's what we will think)? Where do you intend to stay: a hotel? Her home? For your maiden trip to Mindanao, don't leave CDO. Its not that you need to be paranoid in Illigan, more its just not the place you go on a first trip there.

Please be advised: anytime her family is involved, don't be surprised if they treat you like an ATM; be prepared to shell out large pesos (at her rural level) for food, drink, gifts, etcetera for the family (its expected).

Other gents jump in here.

My comments. Girl I have been meeting for close to a year each time I come to Makati. Yes, I do support her in little ways. Clothing, pay for electricity and treat her well. Even got some furniture for her and got hor roof fixed.

Am I foolish. Perhaps, but then again I [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) away money on other foolish things, why not make another persons life little better. And yes we have lot of "fun" together.

Other gents jump in here. That advice is good advice Firebird. Mindanao is not for newbies per se and I would stay CDO.

Family is a big issue. I have met the family but in a resto, my terms and a few turned up. If you go to Illigan you will meet the much larger 'family' which will included distant relatives all of whom will want to see the size of your wallet and not much else.

Examples:

1. A good friend went to meet the family on their town about 45 minutes from Cebu. Around 40 people were there and he was expected to foot the bill for food and drink etc. He was warned by me but thought he should see the family and believed they would not be that bad. He then invited the mom and the to the hotel for lunch (nice buffet) and 15 turned up. He was not tough enough to say "go home".

2. When I was a newbie (we all are once at least!) I met a girl in a mall (following advice from others) and still 5 family members turned up expecting a feed before I was allowed to feed her sausage all night. Now we could that does happen and it does but not with 5 family members.

3. Another friend in Cebu invited mom / dad for Fathers Day lunch. But to his surprise 9 family members turned up ordered 3 times more food they could eat (always seafood and steak), had it ate some and took the rest home for the larger family waiting.

So be cautious. Yes see the mom and dad as this will make the relationship legitimate as Westie says and helps the girl as well. Parents wills see you, also see you are a decent guy then tell her (maybe) to let you pork her all day every day. Does happen trust me.

But first time make it your rules don't let me dictate and certainly not where you are intending to go.

I was in Koronadal at the time of that SAF massacre that happened up the road last January. No real problems there, but I did get allot of attention. All up in the T-boli mountainous area was ok, and Kidapawan was ok. A friend rode his motorcycle from Illigan to Dapitan and lived. But if you hang around Illigan much, or go outside of the area, you're being watched. If you go south of there to Marawi, or north of Koronadal, going to Cotobato, you're nuts. I don't really see much reason to go to any of those places unless you just have allot of time to kill, and something else is bothering you.

Many thanks!!I have been to Cagayan de Oro many years ago. I have friends that still live there. All I can say is that the Muslims there are becoming more and more radical. Kidnappings, murder is their specialty. If you don't have to go there why bother. There are much safer places to travel. The thing is that you can't tell who is Muslim and who is not because they are Filipino. Why risk your life for what? The govt is so corrupt there, the lawless people know that they stand a very good chance of getting away with hurting or killing you. Even if they were to get caught they know there is a very small chance they will prosecuted.

Westcoast has given you some good advice there Firebird, specially as a first time traveller to the northern Mindanao region. You are obviously in a long-term relationship with a special Filipina, and you are helping her and perhaps her family out a bit. You maybe under pressure to see her on her home turf.

I have been to, and stayed in, Iligan on three separate occasions and have felt quite safe. But like Sam I would not tempt my fate travelling further east and south of there. If, Firebird, you have a need to see your girl, and family on the home patch here is a suggested arrangement. Stay a night or two at Kingsway Inn on the main highway. It is just 100 meters from Gaisano Mall, the only big shopping mall in Iligan. There are quite a few restaurants in the immediate area. Pretty safe (compared to Malate and Ermita!

So if you want to see the home and family of your girl as an alternative to going to Cagayan de Oro you can get a bus (about p90) or a yellow airport taxi (about p600) from Laguindingan Airport direct to Iligan. A day or two there should be enough to see the family, maybe take them out for a dinner, and perhaps have a look at some of the nice waterfalls in the area (eg Maria Cristina Falla, Tinago Falls).

Other than the problem of boredom, there's no issue with General Santos. It's safe. <Snip> So true! The center of the universe there is the malls. The girls are friendly enough, but you would probably want to have someone lined up if you intend to get much action. It's hotter too, and rather noisy. It's a good base if you want to explore the region and meet allot of nice people. But again, not much of a monger destination. Here's a lovely Gen San province girl in a not so lovely room. I was testing her to see if she only loved me for my money. A much better choice for the budget traveler would be the Dolores for the same price, about p800..

I have traveled quite widely around Mindanao during several trips over the last decade. Is it safe? That all depends on your personal travel experience, your comfort zone, karma and luck. Safety is, of course a relative thing. Speaking generally, the Philippines is Not a safe country. Bad things can, and frequently do happen to good people. Most of my travels have been by air-con bus, V hire vans and jeepneys in more remote areas. I have been as far south as Lake Sebu, beyond Koronadel in South Cotobato, General Santos, Davao and all the way up to Surigao City on the northern tip on several occasions, with side trips to a number of coastal destinations. Traveled a few times from Davao inland through Bukidnon and several times the whole of the north coast from Surigao, Batuan, Camiguin Island, CDO, Iligan, Ozamis, to Dapitan / Dipolog and as far as Pagadian. That is where my personal warning bells signaled "Far Enough!

West Coast and Kongking really know their stuff and their advice is invaluable. A few other guys can also offer useful insights. Be less influenced by those who have only been once and only know CDO or Davao. Just because you've visited Paris and Rome, doesn't mean you have any insight of France and Italy.

Iligan has always seemed safe to me, but Lake Marawi, an hour away, is "Indian Country". Only guys with more balls than brains would go to Cotobato and Zamboanga City and their surrounding provincial areas. Note: the province of Zamboanga del Norte is a safe and lovely place to travel. It's important to know your geography, pay attention to news reports and accept advice from experienced travelers. Always travel with a smile and keep a low profile. Local advice is often not useful, nor accurate. Most Filipinos have no concept of geography, don't follow current affairs and often have no knowledge of anywhere and anything outside their immediate area.

So, in summary, it all depends on your personal comfort zone, your knowledge, your previous travel experience, your willingness to take risks, to be as informed as possible and whether your luck holds. For me, I feel safer in Mindanao than I would in Manila.

What do you think about General Santos? I have been chatting with this beauty last couple of months and she is expecting me to visit there. I will be in Cebu tomorrow and I have been trying to convince her to join me in Cebu. But so far it does not look promising.I travelled to and stayed in Gensan via Cebu pacific from Manila to see the fish port. It was very protected place and lots of armed guards. A little uneasy feeling. Went to the mall there, was offered some dates, sisters, etc but ended up with a DIA girl who just wanted to lose her virginity I guess. Tight and very good times. A little messy.

Anyway, on day three I had breakfast at the hotel. East asian royal, and in the paper it said US embassy issues warning to get out of Mindanao. So I asked the armed security at the hotel to find me a safe way back to the airport. He had a brother in the personal security business, showed up in 10 minutes with a nondescript taxi, a judge (50 caliper) pistol, and off we went. Once at the airport he accompanies me to the front of security check. I walk through immediately, he takes me to the gate, and off I go. He did not want paid, but I insisted. Nice guy.

So you have options there, and I really never felt threatened or unsafe except a little uneasy at the fish port.

My first trip book of Philippine Bacolod.

It was a due to post my Bacolod FR but it gone delay for some unavoidable reasons. Even later better than never. On 22nd Feb'15 I catch my flight from NAIA 3 for Bacolod after arriving directly from Angeles. Here is my full FR.

While the flight on Bacolod runway, I got the text message from her that she is waiting for me out side of arrival hall wearing full sleeve white blouse. Full sleeve; it is pretty warm weather out there but why full sleeve! Ok, soon there will be no sleeve just wait and let me down over there. When I step out from the gate my eyes straight fallen on her standing outside of fence wearing black glass on her eyes. Her full sleeve white hands were kept busy to clear up her face from her silky shoulder length hairs covering again and again. My eyes get down on her shorts, revealed polite legs and finally on her feet. Where thin rope black lace surrounded her feet and ankle wondering me does that snake bite her or not. My head just gone blank seeing her lovely beauty and I come back in me when security guard take over my trolley and helped me to way out.

In Skype I found this 27 years old girl who is funny, bubbly, cracking in laugh with simple little words. Who newly break up with her boyfriend. But in real she was not. She appears just an innocent girl who is so lovable and sensitive; need to be a careful touch unless the beautiful flowers leaves will be spread down on the ground. Ah! I did not arrive in Bacolod to see such kind of girl. M a player and need a player too. She introduced me with her elder brother and I saw my trolley in his hand. Holly molly, ha ha, she arrived in airport to receive me with her elder brother, who is a pure gentleman and accepted my shock with little smile. We all went out to ride the car; when I try to have my seat in front but Mr. Gentleman advised me to have my seat in back. And I obliged. Get my ass down beside the beautiful creature in the back seat. But was very careful to keep my dirty ass away from her. The Bacolod airport is far away from the city and all the way we talk about all the nonsense things. Stupid me was unable to stop turning around my neck to that lovely creature seated beside me; even am talking with her elder brother. A silent touch of her little finger on my palm; like an eclectic shock brings me back from my obsession. It was decided that first we will have dinner in their house and after that they will take me to my hotel Business inn. I knew before who are her family and with whom she living life. So I was prepared for her brother's wife and for her grandma. While preparing the dining table her brother take me to their garden and shows me what kind of rare trees and flowers he collected around the world. One of their sisters married a Chinese man who is in Horticulture and helping him all about the collections. This news was new to me, so politely I asked him does his sister happy with that Chinese horticulture man? Yes they are. They are very happy in their life. Bingo, so sorry my man, m not that kind of guy that your whole family thinking of. You are here in hunt of rare flowers, collecting around the world and me, arrived in Bacolod city to fuck an innocent pussy. So sorry my man, our worlds are so different.

While we are walking in the garden, I saw the highly busyness of her to preparing the dinner table under the portico. I feel her devotion when she keeping spoons, cleaning the plates. I feel her love and every touch when she preparing the glasses and napkins. Honey so sorry; I am not the one you looking for.

When the bye bye time arrived she wanted to ride the car to come along with us. But I strongly stopped her and take my seat in front of the car without asking anybody. I had already determined what I have to do and how to take off my ass from here. But it does not happen as the way I wanted. Around 10.30 pm I get text message from her that she is waiting for me in the hotel lounge. Unexpected, but I quickly went down to meet her. Offer her drinks but she declined. Then I suggested let's have a walk outside. She agreed but I understood she get little surprise why I wanted to walk outside instead of taking her room. We walk in front of the hotel back and forth and I informed her tomorrow morning I want to go to Cebu, does her brother can make a lift for me up to the airport? She made affirmative sign silently. I try to make her laugh with my naughty jokes. But she did not, always kept her head down and some time tries to see my face. Oh honey stop looking to me like this, don't make me broken any more. Then I tell her it is going late night now and she have to go back home. I stopped a taxi passing by and asked her to ride. Slowly she rode the taxi and only once she saw my face. I realized her die hard trying to stop her tears and quickly shut down the door to hide are face.

Before leaving Bacolod I texted her, what a surprise experience she have given to me. She is a girl who deserves a family with her kids surrounding her. She will cook food for them, sing a song for kids after dinner for sleeping. Then go to bed where the loving husband waiting for her. But I cannot be part of this world that I had lost many days ago. We have different worlds.

Glad I finally have something useful to add. Yes, the ladies in Bacolod are sweet. The city of smiles. I'm in my mid-forties and pretty good looking and intelligent and kind, so it's very easy for me in general here. I started to date the 20 year old who sold me a pair of Nikes in the SM Mall. Love at first site, gave her my business card and number. She spent about 4 hours the next two nights talking with me in my room. Light petting, fully clothed. She said she'd come back the third night and complete the deed. And boy did she ever! Very high sensitivity. Needed a mop to clean up the pool.

After the second night I was very frustrated and thought "Bacolod is supposed to be slow, but I'll take a walk and see what happens, need to cool down anyway. " Walked around and in very soon while by the Negros Occidental High School on Lacson St I saw 4 hot girls and one ugly one (a young mamasan!) walking. I crossed the street. I had to be aggressive or they would have just passed by. Picked out one. Super slim. They asked for 1500 pesos and I didn't bother negotiating but could have.

Back in my room it was non-stop texting no her part even as I took off her clothes and felt her body. Eventually I took the phone from her hand and threw it (gently on the other bed) and then we started. BJ was terrible with fake gagging so she could get out of it. The fuck was bad at all. Pretty good. Her body was very hot. Could have used more teeth. Not bad for not expecting anything.

I spent 5 nights in Samar this past August in which my time was split between Samar Davao and AC.

Flew in to Calbayog and was met by an open minded lady I met online who brought her 19 yo niece and we headed to San Antonio Island north of Calbayog off the north. Took the ubiquitos white vans which fill the bus function in the provinces took about an hour north then took the ferry to San Antonio, Its a pretty spartan Island very primitive adn the 'resorts; had the bare minimum. We stayed at the Havenoffun Resort. There were other resorts that looked more developed but we tried that one. They had the local Red Horse and SM but I drink dry spirits so I was SOL.

Normally I don't need to drink if I'm going to have sex but the 19 yo proceeded to get totally hammered on red horse so I chocked down a couple of Tanduay Ice I was able to procure at one of the Sari stores in the Barangay down the dirt road but she was one of those nasty drunks so after she passed out the Antie took care of my needs and was very nice.

I announced in the morning that the vacation was cut short and we headed back to Calbayog due to the severe emotional issues of the niece. I have never dealt with this before but usually the girls I meet online I get to know pretty well and vet them before we meet. The antie was nice and slim and a real sweetheart since she was the one I knew online but she was setting me up with her blind date niece since she was too 'old;' in her mind 33 even though I'm 20 years older than her.

One issue with San Antonio Island is there is no electricity from 6 am to noon every day. So things get pretty steamy in the mornings.

So we headed back to Calbayog departed no hard feelings and I called my Calbayog 'GF' and she came on short notice. The people at the Phil Air office recommended the I's Plant Hotel. Just over the bridge from downtown. It was converted from the old Ice plant in 2008 and has almost zero internet footprint. I was shocked at how modern the place was that such a place existed in calbayog at all. We stayed in the room just behind the front desk it was very modern with a nice shower and big flat screen TV. I would definitely recommend that place I didn't expect to find it. I understand they have some crappy rooms there and the restaurant was pretty good by Calbayog standards and I don't mind filipino food.

After 4 nights there with my sweet little Waray I went to take the once a day early morning Phil Air flight to Manila which was cancelled so I they put us in the cramped white cab to Tacloban for an afternoon flight so my plan to be in AC by noon barely got me there at 10:30 pm.

Calbayog is a very small town very rough hewn place and populace, not any real restaurants. Its advanced somewhat since I stayed there at the 1 Star Eduardo Hotel and Marjucrisel back in 2005 to 2008 but not like other province cities. Definitely a bring your own girl place.

Pantot,

Very nice write up and report. You are more adventurous than me. I only got an hour or so outside of Tacloban across the bridge for a day trip. The girl wanted to show me her home in the province. There was nothing out there! We came back and stayed a few days in a nice Tacloban hotel. Caught her on her non-fertile days of her cycle. Man, did she let loose, screaming for the man juice - "inside honey- inside honey".

DG8787.Thanks for the kind words. Tacloban is 10 x more modern than Calbayog. And even though much of the populations of both are of the same tribe Calbayog is a rougher place. For example in Calbayog walking around in the evening you are much more likely to get some drunken catcalls from groups of men from afar directed at the girl on your arm. The girls I have been with in these cities are never actually from there so its not from guys they know. Being atrocious at language myself I have no idea if they are demeaning words or playful, and frankly I don't want to know or care. And they always are said with a smile and the girl never seems to notice. It actually took about a half a dozen trips to even realize this was even occuring. The girl never seems bothered so neither am I.

I am pretty adventurous. Our trip to San Antonio was delayed because we HAD to go visit the nieces family who were actually having two huge birthday parties one even having a roast pig with 30+ family members in each house. They always treat you like a celebrity in those situations and the majority of the females there would jump in the sack with you at the drop of a hat with the way they look at you. Niece needing to get 6 giant Red Horses for her and 3 older antie relatives at 10 am should have been a red flag.

We only stayed about 2 hours when the antie arrived who was from the other side of the family and not much into the party and we escaped.

You know ever since my vasectomy I never broach the subject of fertilty unless the girl brings it up. Seems like with young province girls or even newly arrived Province AC bar girls (half of which seemingly hail from Samar- Leyte- Biliran) most never even broach the subject at all and usually not until after I empty my load deep inside. When they ask, I answer, do you want to get preg by me? Most are inspired by the idea and then the answer of 'don't worry babe I will take care of you if that ever happens' is the worlds most giant aphrodisiac for the remainder of my time with her. If she is genuinely worried about getting preg 'not till I'm older' then I tell her don't worry its impossible. Most of those I have to actually had to graphically describe what a vasectomy is.

Pantot,
Caught her on her non-fertile days of her cycle. Man, did she let loose, screaming for the man juice - "inside honey- inside honey".The beauty of pilipinas over girls from other places. So many waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant the man-juice, that they f*ck like banshees (don't even know what a banshee is), at times trying to keep me from pulling out after I've finished spraying her innards. Stay home, mama's boys, the place ain't for you.

Pantot, nice FR.

I've been to south Cebu Island several times, but never made it further north than Danao / Carmen. I'd appreciate any and all info about good beaches and snorkeling in north Cebu, especially the pros and cons of the islands Malapasqua and Bantayan.

I will have a companion and we both like snorkeling. So p4 p and scuba diving info not necessary. I've found dive resorts to be full of friendly, helpful people and they know good snorkeling spots, so I won't hesitate to stay at such a place. I guess I should give it a try one of these days.

I'd prefer not to pay over php 3,000 per night on accommodation.

I know it's a long bus ride from north terminal to up north, which is why I've always headed in different directions.

There is a lot of information on the Net. Such as Malapasqua isn't so great for snorkeling. But on the net, there is always someone who disagrees.

Has anyone actually stayed in Daan Bantayan?

Over the years I've received a lot of great travel information from ISG members. Is this a sex site with members who like traveling or a travel site with member who like naughty sex. I guess both!
