Hey...no worries at all. Unfortunately, I doubt you'll have time to do Batam if you're here only for a day. Despite being only a 30 minute ferry ride away, the customs and waiting around to depart and then again on the return take up another 2 hours at least. So you're looking at 3 hours minimum just to get there and get back. Even if you were on the ferry at 2:30, you wouldn't really be able to find your chicks til 4 and then you'd have to head back to Singapore by 6:30 or 7 in order to safely make your flight. Batam really only makes sense if you take the first ferry over and the last one back or as an overnight trip, in my opinion.
HOWEVER, between 2pm and the time your flight leaves you can definitely find pretty much anything you might be looking for right here in Singapore and without spending a whole lot. What day of the week will you be here? (Sundays rock if you can be here then ;-) If I'm not working at the time, I'd be happy to show you around.

Skip: I'd suggest you grab The New Paper and flick to their classified section towards the back. There's a page of adverts for 'health centres' and they would be worth checking out, along with (of course) any previous reports here. I honestly have never heard of a hotel in Singapore that didn't turn a blind eye to a guest bringing in company, so you should have no worries in that department.

Good call not to go with this one. WallyYou might find that your hours are totally out of sync with most of the working girls; I know I did. They often don't go to bed until early morning, sleep most of the day & start work sometimes as late as 10pm. Personally I've found LT to usually be unrewarding as she's wide awake & I'm trying to get to sleep ready for work in the morning. It just doesn't work for either of us. Just go to Orchard Towers earlier then....Ipanema and most of the other bars open at either 5 or 6 pm and you'll find a lot of choices by 7.

There are no blowjob bars in Orchard Towers or Lucky Plaza. Those are only in Tanjong Pagar, Duxton Hill (same area) and Paramount Shopping Center, way the hell across town. I will often go get dinner somewhere near the towers (the rib and steak place opposite ain't bad) and wander into the basement around 9 pm. You just need to give some description to the pinays in either bar and they will get suitable gals to wander over.
I usually stay a good $10 cab ride from the towers and $150 (plus a promise of more if they are good) usually gets an allnighter which means that I kick them out sometime before 8 am.
In relation to Pro Hunter's request I also find that the pinay newcomers are much less commercial and more inclined to stay with you in comfortable surroundings for a few nights without the same fee. You must remember that these gals are staying 4-6 to a room in a shitty apartment block and some time in a nice hotel is attractive to them. But I do not let them stay during the day if I am going out.
So for Pro Hunter I would say that there are a lot of fish in the pond.

One of the things to remember about prices is that they do get cheaper as the night goes on.
So in my advice to Wally regarding the earlybirds at the OT basement I should add that you may need to work pretty hard to get them down to $150 for allnight if you take them out before 10 pm.

You'll be happy to know those rates should still apply. Keep in mind the earlier you go, the more the girls will expect though, but the later it gets, you'll still find some good lookers who'll go long time for $100. All large hotels in Singapore are GF. Social norms still apply and are best respected. Walking drunk into Raffles or Fullerton with a couple of underdressed OT skanks may not win you much respect from hotel staff or other guests, but still shouldn't be a problem. I believe that the answers to Xmen's questions depend a lot on which women you are going with and what activities you want to get up to.

Hotel81 on Bencoolen St. is the nearest short time hotel to the Orchard Road area. Depending on where you're staying, others might be closer. There are 81s in Chinatown, Joo Chiat and of course Geylang as well. In Geylang there are multiple other short time hotels, most of them decked out in gaudy neon...they're all over the place there, really. Just tell any cab driver what you're looking for, they all know.

Unfortunately, this time I have been bullied by my home-minister into staying with some friends of ours.
My experience of many years of traveling on business is that homestays simply do not work from a business point of view. Phone calls to/from different time zones, need to access emails, late night and early morning meetings - all of these things mean that a hotel is better.
Maybe a weekend but never during the week.
If you are forced into this charade I would suggest that you absolutely make sure that your hosts are so inconvenienced and disturbed by your legitimate business activities that your are never forced in to this position again. Try and get it to the point where it is your handbag that feels the need to apologise.
Get some colleagues to call at 4 am, have an early start or two (a necessary visit to Malaysia is good for this), have a few late nights. Remember that in Asia a night with clients/colleagues at a KTV until early morning is perfectly normal.

I think GG meant posts #3134, 3133, 3131. They are a page back, not pertaining to the St. Regis specifically, but to all hotels in Singapore in general. When you go 6* in the case of the St. Regis, I would hate to imagine what you *can't* do!
We can understand that a guy unfamiliar with the city doesn't want his chance of fun spoiled by hotel problems, but just how clear can we make this:
ALL large hotels in Singapore, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, are totally GF.
As some seem to have difficulty in relating this to their particular hotel, this includes St. Regis, where during my stay the staff were totally unconcerned about the procession of business associates, friends and an occasional hooker to my room.
Singapore hotel staff would consider it highly unprofessional to challenge you or a companion, unless you were causing disruption or raising some security issue for the hotel. In my experience (maybe 30+ Singapore hotels, hundreds of nights), this NEVER happens. Doubtless Sudsoz, GG and other experienced posters will concur.
The only places where you may possibly meet disapproval are if you are staying in a hostel, church, or a small family run guest house.
Orchard Hotel did introduce 'registration' for guests arriving after midnight a year or two back but this was simply a security measure. I simply ignored it and was never challenged. Don't think it caught on elsewhere.

The attitude of Singapore hotel staff is so laissez-faire that I sometimes wonder how good the security actually is.
Generally I don't see any evidence of cameras so that they can track where people go which I see often in other cities in Asia.
I actually like the practice of the small hotels in Saigon where they take the gals ID Card at reception so that she has to go back to get it. The desk staff then give you a call to make sure ''everything is OK''. I have experienced a similar practice in some hotels in Manilla.

Bearsk - without wanting to criticize and more for the benefit of others it seems to me that to go to Ipanema at 2am means that you are going to get the dregs or the ones coming back for a second helping. Quite frankly I would be extremely suspicious of the hygiene of those that are around at that time.
My experience is that most have arrived by 10pm and by 12pm or not much later the best ones have been taken and mostly for all night.

I spend this afternoon out exploring Little India and still had a Singapore Health Club visit on my To-do list.
Wandered past Hotel Singe about 4pm and saw the sign for the HC on Level 3. Wandered on in. Nice polite ladies at the counter. $75 for 1 hour, $50 for 45 minutes. OPted for the hour.
Shown to a private room. Room has a shower, upmarket sink, leather seat and mattress on floor.
I ended up with middle-aged Yen. Body still in good shape. Most importantly she knows a good massage, is very worldly for conversation and pleasant.
The HC is on two levels. Reception and Massage rooms on L3. An internal staircase to L2 is available where there is food (hot chile hot pot), nibbles, private cinema, lockers, hot spa and cold pool. There was no one in this area.

The Navy...I think you're right...when those guys are in town, the clubs tend to get started earlier and fill up quicker. Technically, they're not supposed to be in there by regulation, but I think the 'off limits' monitors turn a blind eye most of the time. I've seen 'em standing out front watching the door to prevent squibs from going in then allow them to go around the corner and straight into the back entrance.

I'm attached images of the card I got from the mamasan there (THM_front and THM_back). The cost was S$40 for an hour--Thai or oil--and the massages are in little cubicles with full curtains. Chinese girls (from mainland China, not locals) can easily be found in Orchard Tower, primarily in Ipanema on the 2nd floor. Don't pay more than $150 LT or $100 ST, plus $25-30 for a short time room if you'd rather not take her back to your hotel. Obviously, they will ask for much more and if you've read this forum, you'll see that some guys pay it, but you don't have to. They will come down in price if you stick to your guns.
On Westerhout Road and some surrounding roads in Geylang, you will find mainland Chinese girls, some of very high quality looks-wise, lining the streets from dusk til the wee hours. They'll go ST for $100 to 150, again, plus $10 - 15 for a short time room. Not likely you'll find one that speaks any English at all, so you're on your own as far as negotiating her to do what you want.
If you find a partner in OT, you don't have to go all the way to Geylang for a short time hotel. There are Hotel 81s on Bencoolen Street and also Chinatown, both much closer than Geylang.
As has been posted umpteen times, every hotel in Singapore is girl friendly. I can't recommend any specific ones however, as I live here and never have occasion to book one.

If you are spending more than a day here, then checking out both venues won't be a problem. With a little familiarisation you'll soon find what you need
The mainstream OT bars aren't much of a haunt for Chinese. Viets, Filipina, Thai and Indon make up most of the stock.
For PRC Chinese Geylang is probably your best option. You'll find hundreds on the street, in the food shops and in massage joints. There are some real stunners and it's possible to get excellent value, but communication can sometimes be a problem and may impair your level of service. All hotels are GF. You can take a Geylang catch to one of the countless short time places in the vicinity.

Well I never go to Geylang because I stay in a hotel and prefer the gals to stay overnight.
I am afraid that cheap and central hotels don't exist in Singapore. Check out wotif.com as I said or try the Hotel 81 site.
You're thinking about this 'should I visit Geylang' more than you need to.
From a mongering perspective I'd *strongly* recommend an evening tour and if you're on a budget I'd consider stopping there. You can save big money on food and lodgings. I'll often stay in Geylang if I've no need to meet business contacts at my hotel or if the downtown rates go crazy. Apart from the girls there's good food, decent massage, cheap beer and (my opinion) a great atmosphere.
Singapore isn't LA or Bangkok. Orchard and Geylang are <10km apart - comfortably less than 30 minutes by public transport. Geylang is also a good base for reaching other parts of the city.
Sudsoz is right that Geylang girls don't tend to be all nighters. Especially for the attractive ones the earning power of a few more tricks is too great. If you're into the MILF / 25+ market LT is possible, but tends to happen when you're not really looking. For those unfamiliar with the scene OT is a better bet for LT.
I never had a problem taking OT girls back to Geylang, but remember for some it will be out of their usual orbit and they may be slightly uncomfortable in the area. Usually I'll walk them to some transport after the session.
If you are rooming with a buddy you may want to check the bedding configuration of the Geylang hotels. One bed is definitely the norm.

Depends on exactly what you're looking for. If you just want a quick shag with a gorgeous Chinese girl, go straight to Westerhout Road in Geylang at dusk. You're right, that's where the stunners are. The Chinese I've seen in OT, namely Ipanema club, are generally not as hot, in my opinion, and tend to ask for more moola. I will be visiting Singapore in the month of June for a couple of days. Never had any mongering experience in Singapore, will stay 2 or 3 nights maybe in a cheap location like Geylang.
Could the senior mongers give some information on:
1. Where are the safe places to go? Don't want to get ripped off, mugged or caught to Ladyboys. Are there better days of the week when there are particularly good selections of girls?
2. I am a budget tourist so my budget would be something in the region of S$30-50. Can reasonable, safe action be found at these prices? Not sure about all the legal aspects but my understanding is that the prima facie reason for the raids is to catch and eject those girls who are working in contravention of their tourist visa.
Like all societies there is an element in Singapore who would like to see all of the dens of iniquity shut down but the authorities recognise that if they tried to shut it all down it would go underground with links to organised crime etc and be harder to control. So they have the raids largely for show and the working on a tourist visa thing is what they can get them on.
But it seems to me that with a HC being on the premises is pretty much evidence of working but with the freelance gals at OT I don't see how being in a bar at night is evidence that they are contravening their visa. What else do you expect a 20 something y.o. tourist to be doing at night?
To me that puts the BmD gals somewhere in between and it probably depends on what records there are and how the gals respond to questions. It seems to me that most of them are not smart enough or brazen enough to play the ''I am a tourist doing tourist things card".

1. Most places in Singapore are pretty safe as long as you use common sense, and are totally aware of your surroundings. You can actually get ripped off anywhere, and Lady Boys are pretty easy to identify. I believe WG are available 24-7, but the best times are between 8PM and Midnight.
2. Action in the neighborhood of S$30-50 may be difficult to manage, but I have heard of it happening in Geyland. I would suggest Ipanema or a number of the establishments in Orchard Tower were a budget of S$50-70 is more possible. With reference to quality/safety being exceptional - quality is in the eye of the beholder, but safety has been addressed. The risk of police raids is always present, but as mentions many times before, they are really looking for the girls.
3. For a massage with HJ or BJ, you can find this in Orchard Tower. No recommendations - why don't you try a few and post your findings on the Board.

Sound info, but you'd need some luck with S$50 at OT. Unless you're hunting the truly desperate, S$100+ is more realistic. S$50 should see you right in Geylang.
The massage joints at OT won't be the cheapest or best, as there are simply too many new visitors whose expectations are low and by their standards are getting a good deal. I tried a few times when I first arrived in town then figured there was better available. A good report might tempt me back!
