As usual, I write my field report many days after travelling. Sorry folks, but better later than never. I have been in Singapore in mid November for 2 days, after KL (see my FR in the KL forum 1097538 )
My original plan was to stay here only 1 day and then move quickly to Batam. However, I changed my mind after knowing that 17 Nov is one of the main holy holidays for Muslims and that there was high probability to find most joints closed there on the night of 17.
Contrary to my previous visits to Singapore, I did not go playing in Geylang. Let me point to my previous FR in Singapore:

Not going to Geylang was not planned. It just happened like that. I was eager of Philipinas and thus I headed straight to OT.
FIRST NIGHT
First negative surprise: one of the two Pinay bars Blue Banana and Peyton Place (OT basement) is closed!! (sorry, I dont remember the name among the two).
In the other, usual Pinays feast (0am), but I did not see the special one. Thus, after a beer and chit chat with girls I moved away for further exploration to Ipanema.
At Ipanema, usual crowd of Viets and Thai. I am not interested to those plastic beauties who
ask big money and then are like dead dolls in the bed, and thus I move around the bar.
I spot a little shy girl who sits sleeping. Not very beautiful, but very slim and petite. That looks interesting. I wake her up. She does not speak English. Only smile and say "I want to take care of you?". I think this is one of the few sentences that someone instructed her to say.
Also asking how much she wanted was difficult, because of language barrier and loud music. Finally, she understands and she repeats me 30. :confused:
30 is too low to be real, so I write "30$" on my mobile and I show it to her. She says yes.:eek:
Unfortunately, at this time she sees her friend and she calls her to help on English.
The friend is much more experienced on the place. She tells me that my girl is totally new, first time to OT. She also tells me and HER that the price is 300$. I dont mention the 30, because I dont want to be considered a cheater.

They finally leave and I stay with the girl I liked. They were girls from a BMD bar in Lucky Plaza, out for partying with boss after their bar closed at 1am.
The girl is NOT the typical shark we easily meet in those places. She is a good girl, she does not want to drink beer, she does not insist to go with me to the hotel. She is a lovely girl!
I take her to TCC for a cup of tea (yes). Her work in Singapore is to make people buy drinks in her bar and go with them to the hotel for the standard fee 150. She came to Singapore for that, because in strong need of money.
She is in SIngapore since 2 weeks or so and she had only 2 customers since then.
(this is what I was told).
Anyway, at 2am she agrees to come to my hotel for 100, but she must be back before 6am because the "auntie" would be angry if she does not find her in the room sleeping before then.
At 6am she takes a taxi and I go to 126 Sims for refuelling.

Her name was Michelle and she gave me her number if I would want her to visit my hotel later. Look 9/10 service 9/10.

Tried the one on the right side of CH it said russian girls/dancers or something. I was pretty intoxicated since it was pretty late, around 4 am. Half full not many girls and the russian dancers myst have been the leftovers from the gulags.
Down one stair to the FHM-club, almost empty except for some girls. Maybe 20 girls and 5 costumers. The rating of the girls was no one over 6/10 so I went for Ipanema.
The Ipanema lives up to itīs reputation very crowded and a lot of great girls. Stayed for 45 mins wasnīt in the mood for a pick-up but there was a lot of targets.
Before I even got out of my taxi at OT there were girls standing around in the street trying to make contact. Even inside the building at the stairs there was many offers made. OT is for sure a mongers heaven if you are into asian girls.
I asked a cabdriver about geylang but he said it was dead and all the girls once there was at OT now.
The day after I was out shopping with a female friend in chinatown and we decided to take a massage in which looked to be a serious spa/massage parlour. We took 1 hour massage 48 sd and even though it only was a thin cover between us my massage girl started to do the tease and offered me a happy ending for 50 sd. There was no way she would have known if the woman beside me was my gf/wife or not.
Conclusion, if you get butt naked for a massage in asia HE is offered in 90% of the occasions. Since I have been travelling a lot in asia and it have always worked for me ;)

On average I would find them outside the bars and have to wave off 8 or so before I could find a deal. Performance varied from average to very good.

I wanted to see what the go was and was quoted $300sin for LT, yet they didn't seem to interested in it. It seemed the girls were more interested in pushing the drinks rather than going with customers, and I got the impression they were working / freelance empoyees of the bar. I found it to be the same at Peyton Place and the 5 or 6 other Filipino bars I walked into.
Has any one else found the same thing? Won't waste me time with a second look on the way home. Will head straight to Impenema. (Top 5 had the CIS? Russian dancers but zero on the freelance count). Interested to hear what other have found? Was looking forward to a little flipper but thing have changed.

i think the majority of the girls in pp are now bmd girls only and actually the management don't let them go out. the bar is owned by the same company as own (ed) homeground, speedzone and smooth in paramount shooping centre. in fact many of the girls in pp work in either smooth or speedzone in the early part of the night and then come to ot at about midnight. they then stay at pp till closing and go home to the company owned accommodation where they have to check in. your only chance of a hook up with these girls is if you arrange to meet them in the afternoon before they go to work.
i am not sure if there are any fl's left in pp but there certainly were in blue banana last time i was there.

Desker Road. Is a downscale version of Petaiin Road. Which is a series of houses with rooms rented out to SPs. I don't know that it has Indian women but I would say yes. It's not too far from the airport, just a bit more traffic than going to Geylang. If it's the houses then there is day time action. I don't think it is SWs.
It is VERY downmarket and I would not go there. The only upscale place in SG is Geylang.

Posters on the wall advise the use of condoms." Desker Road and the nearby Flanders Square DRA's can be reached by foot from the Little India section of Singapore.
And if you don't know where you are or where you're going, with little effort you can accidently find yourself in the wrong alley. Appalled to find that this part of the city even exists and wondering how to get back to the tailors and trinket shops of Little India.

CanyonHotel wise let me suggest also Park Royal (on Scotts too) just opposite Hyatt. Much cheaper and still 4 *
Just a bit smaller rooms. Free wi-fi, BTW that Hyatt has only for upper standard of rooms (executive club)
Going to OT from there is even easier as you don't have to cross Scott Road as you have to do from Hyatt. A nearby fly over walking bridge links the two hotel sidewalks (if you want to go to Brix from royal park)
Escalators in SIN stops at around midnight and it is a pain in the ass to climb them when nit working.
The Marriott (corner Orchard / Scottsdale, but far more expensive than Hyatt) has a coffee shop terrace serving food till 3am: good spot to observe FL walking to Brix or sometime stationing around (less than before last time I was there, LE persuasion?) not a bad place to spot talents.
Be aware that you might bump into some LB's, being often stunners it might be attempting (same as at Crazy Horse bar in 3rd F at OT, where they can stay and represent the "work force" in there) They are never allowed in other bars so they have to be around to catch business.
There is another restaurant serving food 24hrs on the way from Scott / orchard junction to OT: decent to kill hunger, but not gourmet. On the same portion of walk WG station, walk, propose, as they go or come from OT.

I will have a one day lay over in SIN. Landing around 5 am and taking off at 11 pm. Free all day except for a business lunch between, say. 12 to 4 pm.
My objective is to keep happy and busy both in the morning and the pm.
I am quite familiar about SIN, so no problem with transport, localisation etc. But wil still need advice from Sin specialists to make the most of my short visit.
Let me ask if the following makes sense:
Arrive at Sin in the early morning. Leave any luggage at the baggage locker. Take the MRT to Geylang (aljumiah) , and go to one of the Hotel 81. Check in, around 6 am, keep the room till 8 pm (Will they make me pay for 2 full nights, or is it negociable?).
Get some sleep till 10-11am.
Look for some action around. I know that all legal houses are closed, at least till 1 pm, if not 4 pm. But I need action in the morning, so that I can recover before further action in the afternoon.
Some years back, that is before the clampdown in Geylang, I found some Chinese chicks lurking around in the morning. Is this still the case? Do I have a chance to find something in the morning? If not, where should I go? I guess another otpion would be to organise delivery in advance, but I am not too keen on this, since you don't know whay you will get.
Then on to my business lunch.
After 4, return to Geylang and action in one of the legal houses. Can anyone point to any specific one? The actual RLD is an alley between Desker Road and Rowell Road that stretches roughly from Serangoon to Jalan Besar. Sorry for the late report. I was in SIN for one night in early Dec and only had until now some time to chime in on my visit. Landed in SIN at 7AM on Dec 4 and flew out 9AM on Dec 5.
First, thanks to everyone who replied to my questions before my visit. Now, on to the report.
After RTFF, I was all set to indulge in the sights and smells that SIN has to offer. I went in with the following plan:
(1) Check into a Hotel 81 in Geylang for a few hours in the morning and get some rest and MAYBE find a SW for a session before heading to my hotel in Orchard. I booked a room at Royal Plaza on Scotts which I was told would not be available until afternoon. I initially planned on staying at the Hilton but after some research decided to spend a few extra bucks and stay at Royal Plaza since the hotel got much better reviews. (2) Once I checked in at Royal Plaza, walk around the neighborhood, scope the MP's in OT and maybe partake in a round. (3) Head to Geylang to check out some of the houses that by now would be open. (4) Head over to OT in the early evening to grab a FL. Then later in the night go back to OT for seconds. I never get out so I had to make the most of it! Also, I should let you know, since I very, very rarely monger, I'm quite content with HJ and CBJ. I can see you rolling your eyes. LOL! I was under the assumption that the various experiences would be ranked in the following order (from best to worst) :
(1) FL from OT, (2) Geylang house, (3) Geylang SW, (4) MP at OT. The experiences did not go the way I expected.
When I landed in SIN at 7AM, I called Royal Plaza and was told that my room may be ready by 10AM, maybe earlier. I decided to go straight to RP and cross my fingers. Let me say that SIN airport is one of the easiest airports to get through. Easier than Geneva. And that's saying a lot! It was quick, easy, efficient, and the airport staff were very courteous. Took a cab to RP, checked in my bags, grabbed a snack, and killed some time in their internet lounge with free internet service. Big screen Apple monitors to boot! My room was ready before 10 AM so once in, I unpacked, showered, and went for a stroll. By noon I decided to enter OT to scope the scene. The MP's were open, with ladies waving for my attention. I browsed a little and also wanted to see where all the clubs were that I had been reading about. It was cool to actually walk around the areas I had seen in pictures and youtube vids. I walked into one MP after a super cute spinner girl invited me in to look at the menu. She had that laminated print out broken down by time and price. As I looked it over she then said 100 for everything, no time limit. I told her I would think about it and come back. I walked around some more, stopped at the 7-11 to buy a pack of covers, and went back to my hotel room (only a 3-5 minute walk) , trying to decide whether I should just head to Geylang now. I have to admit that I got a bit too excited thinking about the girl back at the OT MP who was being very affectionate with me. I decided to head back to OT. Went back into the MP, she didn't change the price on me, and into the room we went. I think this place is up one level on the escalator, far left corner. The room did not look very clean. The walls were a bit dirty, there was a mattress on the floor covered with a towel. The towel didn't look very clean, but maybe it was just really old. I thought to myself,"oh man, what have I gotten myself into." I asked her to change the towel and she happily did. I saw her grab a new one from a stack of neatly folded towels on a shelf in the hallway. Once that concern was addressed, we got down to business. I decided to just bite the bullet and stay at Ipanema, deal with the shoulder to shoulder crowd and ear splitting music with the hopes of grabbing a nice one and heading back to the hotel. Here's where I got off track. I got greedy. With so many women in the club, I wouldn't settle for anything less than stunning. I saw some attractive ladies, but I kept thinking I could do better. This thinking got out of control as the hours passed and I kept looking, taking breaks to go to the smoker's room to reassess. One cute little viet quoted me 200 ST and wanted to leave now. I agreed to the price but told her I wanted to have another beer first. As I sipped my beer I thought I remembered ST should only be 150 tops. I then told her 150 and she gave me an angry look, lightly slapped me on the face, and walked away. I'll admit that it was low of me to agree on a price and then change it so I'll accept the reaction I got. At the same time, I felt like it was ok because there was something about her that seemed like she was all business and wouldn't be much fun in the sack. She was cute, though. As the time rolled on the ladies were still quoting 200 and they wouldn't budge. I asked for how long and they would just say "I make you happy". Also, my warped thinking kept convincing me I could find a better looking one. By the time 3AM rolled around I found myself in a predicament. If I brought a girl back now, we'd probably be done latest by 4:30 after which I would HAVE TO get some sleep. Problem is that I had to be up latest by 6AM to pack and head to the airport and I didn't want to risk sleeping in and missing my flight. I agree with your Geyland experience, but I somehow disagree with the MP and the Ipanema experience:
I tested some MP's at OT and always had compromised experiences. Not optimal price / service ratio.
FL at Ipanema or in front of OT (my clear recommendation) are the much better option. But you're right, you have to pick one and not think too much about the other. Simply too many to choose from.

I ordered a beer and saw a flight of steps at the end of the room so decided to explore. Went downstairs and arrived at Ipanema. Ok, so this is the place everyone talks about! Maybe it will remind you of when you were a newbie yourself in SIN? If I ever make it to SIN again, I will be more prepared, mentally and timing-wise.

Orchard Towers. I was already half in the bag after the "Happy Hour Priority club At the holiday Inn". Geylong is a hub of pros. They reside thier only and when it gets dark they dress up and come stand on road. You can negotiate to 150 sd to 35sd. Damm cheap. But quality is usually poor and rooms are readily available. Just on a short walk.
So, managed to find famous Desker Road. And its "be (l) ackground"
The offer is terrible. All old and worn out ladies. I even didn`t ask a price :/

You shuld take MRT till Farrer park, then cross the Serangoon Road. And a bit mor north you have it.

Quite often - when I was still living in Singapore that is. I tend to be quite picky but patient, and I try to be like them, where I've honed it down to sniffing out that right combination of attraction / chemistry / porn-star quality / hunger / desperation in a working girl. Then its usually not a problem. In other words, I settle for my first choice at 2-3 am. :D
The more attractive girls at the foot of the small flight of steps. I call that the Viet 1st offensive line-up or the Viet 'A' Grade. In all of the fishbowl brothels, that now, in addition to Thais seem to also staff mainland Chinese, the price is either S$80 or S$100.
For the SWs, you certainly can and should negotiate. Lowest price is Srilanka / Bangladesh, then Indonesians, Thais, Chinese and occasional local SG girl. Of course, service varies too, with the lowest price ones usually being starfish. That said, the last few times I was back in SG, most recently last month, all I saw were Chinese girls. All the others, which variety made Geylang so great a place, seem to have been chased away.

Now, was she a 10/10 looks. Nope, more like an 8/10, but was she fun. Absolutely. 3 holer, stayed all nite no arguing, and unlimited shots. Ended up staying with me for a few nites (told her NOT to dress up in OT type clothes, but regular clothes so we could avoid the "walk of shame" in the AM. If you find a nice girl and you are in town for a few days and want to keep her. She can make 600-1000 for the week from you, she will go for that (I kept this girl for 6 nites / days total was S$1000 plus 6 cab fares at S$20 each). These places where they live (this one was in Clementi) are full of girls, no privacy and for some of the places, a floating gambling parlor is ongoing in the place. So,"try a little tenderness" and I think you will make out fine. And be ready to change your approach on the fly. Finally, keep in mind that most of these girls want some degree of being treated like a lady, respected and kind. I have found this works much better. As long as you don't let them take advantage of YOU!
Also, if you don't want a repeater. The fact that the other girls in the first line saw one leave with you puts you at an advantage to take them back. With the same terms. At least that is what I have found.

Thanks to all of the posters who share information. I was on my first trip to Singapore and decided to try Little India. I did find the alley near Decker Road. A little too scary for my tastes. I found R & R massage mentioned a few posts back but decided against trying it with a whole family of folks getting foot massages in the front room. I did stop at Thai Hot Oil massage right on Decker Street and had a oiled massage from "Ahn" who was from Thailand and this was her 3rd or 4th day in Singapore. 40 SG$ for the 60 minutes. Very nice and completed massage and nice playing with the boys even before the flip. At the flip, she started negotiating. Wanted 50 for HR, and after some back and forth we decided on 100 for the whole works (included a very lovely BBBJ). Never hurried and she was as much of a GFE as I've ever had in a rub and tub facility. I was very pleasantly surprised. She even offered (and I accepted) a shower after the deed. Probably spent 75 minutes there all told and while, comparatively speaking I might have overpaid, I feel like I got my money's worth. The only downside (and somewhat amusing to us during the encounter) was the incessant pounding of the construction right next door. On night 2 of my recent trip, went to Lucky Plaza due to one of the earlier reports. There are many massage places interspersed between shops and I suspect they're all the same. I decided on Crystal Massage (2nd floor at the SE corner near Orchard Road itself) as they were a little bit away from all of the other businesses and the slender woman was there was not pushy like some can be and quite attractive (I'd say an "8"). I purchased a 45 minute oil massage (50 SG$) and she got to work. The massage itself was actually quite good. She did this great thing where she got up on my back and had he knees ground into both sides of the spine and sort of rocked back and forth and slowly moved up to the shoulder neck area. It was really outstanding. When she started paying attention to the naughty bits, I was actually a little disappointed as the massage was really good. After she teased for awhile, she had me flip and asked if I wanted a "really nice massage". Turned out she was only offering a HR and wanted 100 for that. By this time, I was pretty mesmerized and asked her if she would do more. Her response surprised me. "not here, can only massage here". So I asked if she would go out with me and she said "sure". At this point, I told her I'd let her finish me off for 70 and she did so in a very slow an luxurious fashion. I know I overpaid by the board's standards but I sort of viewed it as an investment. After I cleaned-up and dressed, she did give me her number and I wandered up to Orchard Towers. I had one expensive beer in one of the bars (I think it was Naughty Girls or something like that) and saw some really hot girls but everyone seemed to be employees of the bar. Again, I probably over paid by market rates but I can honestly say I enjoyed the entire experience and it seemed well worth it. I don't get the sense that she is an Orchard Tower type of girl but I also suspect that this wasn't the first time she delivered a take out service.
I also may a foray into Geylang in the middle of the afternoon (the only time I had). Didn't see much of anything I would want to "get into" but I suspect that things pick up later in the afternoon / evening. Some of the places looked pretty scary from the outside. Also noticed that there were a lot of massage places on the main street in Chinatown at the MRT stop interspersed between the shops (mostly up the stairs on the 2nd floor). I didn't partake of any of them during this trip but does anyone know about the services available there?

I just released my maid in SG (filipina). So let me clarify the "rules" a bit. There is a set minimum for wages and yes, it varies based on ethnicity. For filpinas, it is a mimimum of 600 SGD / month plus room and board. My maid had her own room, some maids share with the kids. The maids get each Sunday and each public holiday off (so weekly one day off. I had to take a course to learn the rules before getting a maid, one day off per week is mandatory now). The maids generally have to be back by 7PM on Sunday night, but the employer can let them stay out longer. Do maids fool around with the employers. Well yes, but if you get caught, there is a large fine to the employer. So smart employer's don't do that. The medical checkups are pregnancy and STDs other than HIV twice a year and HIV once a year.
In terms of the "scene" in SG for the maids, the filipinas frequent Lucky Plaza (Sunday is the day they send $ home) and OT for tea dances. I have had luck at LP in the past, just walking around and smiling broadly. If you get a big smile back. Stop and say Hi, introduce yourself. Then take it from there. Don't start out "want to go back to my place". They can be shy, but if you offer them coffee, to go to OT for a bit of dancing, a meal (the food is not expensive and remember. They don't generally cook Filipino food at their place of work, LP has some Filipino restaurants). You can make inroads fast. These girls are like any others. They want to be appreciated and treated like women. They get to LP early. 9-10am, and the place is packed. So walk around, look around, say Hi, smile. Filipinas are very friendly. This can work. The Indo maids hang out elsewhere, but I don't recall. I'm not certain about the maids from other places. Sorry can't help there. But suspect the Indian maids may go to Little India where there are lots of places to eat, congregate, shop, etc.
OT. Go to a tea dance. You say you don't know anyone or you are going alone. Not a problem Get out and dance. Just jump into the crowd and dance. The filpina maids love it. And will dance and socialize with you. That is your opening. Buy a pitcher of beer AND get some ICE (they put ice in their beer, even better, it goes further cause a pitcher might be 20-25SGD). Don't start out "want to go back to my place". They can be shy, but if you offer them coffee, to go to OT for a bit of dancing, a meal (the food is not expensive and remember. They don't generally cook Filipino food at their place of work, LP has some Filipino restaurants). You can make inroads fast. These girls are like any others. They want to be appreciated and treated like women. They get to LP early. 9-10am, and the place is packed. So walk around, look around, say Hi, smile. Filipinas are very friendly. This can work. Good report but I would just say to correct GG:
There is no minimum wage. There are many many filipina maids earning less than $600 per month. Ignore the Philippines Embassy standard contract or what it said on the course. Filipina's working for Chinese families (I. E. The majority) usually get 450. 500. Bear this in mind when you agree any 'tip'.
Most girls only get one Sunday a month off. Once again ignore what it says in a 'rulebook'. Singaporean Chinese families give one day a month, and they are within there legal rights to do so. None of my Chinese neighbours give more than one day a month off. So most of the girls need to pack a lot of fun into that one day if they are that kind of girl.
Western expats are the people who pay the higher rates and give every Sunday and public holidays as time off. Most Singaporeans wouldn't dream of doing this. I've lived in Singapore for 15 years, employed 4 different maids in that time, been friends with all of them (slept with none of them, too dangerous) and also have a lot of friends and acquaintances who are Singaporean.
Given this all GG's comments about tea dances, treating the girls well etc are spot on and are excellent advice. There is a lot of fun to be had out there on a Sunday.

Matter of fact, it is not unfair when the employers are so scared to give day off for maid. Considering the number of freebies I have screwed in Orchard Tower and LP. Before I decide to sober. And honestly. 9 out of 10 refused to fuck with rubber. Well, it's ok to screw somebody's maid, but when you think what your maid is upto, it is a reality check.
The govt bond for maids is a serious deterrent, though you can get an insurance to cover the bond, still it can mean a hell of a lot of pain when the maid gets pregnant or catches some silly sickness / runs away.

Actually I took the lead from my Chinese friends who also gave their maid one day a week off. But appreciate your clarifications. As for Topmanten. My advice to find maids is to 1) sign up for tagged (many of the filipinas in SG on that are maids) and 2) attend the tea parties and other spots that I noted in my post. While I have found it useful to set things up ahead of time. Impromptu has worked wonderfully for me also (see my past posts about my great pickup of 2 girls in LP on a Tuesday afternoon. That was a 2 week on / off fling and lots of fun). I currently don't have any contacts for maids. The ones that I know have either left or really were not that interested in playtime (mostly interested in a husband).
Yes, I am an expat who lived in public housing (yep, my neighbors would look at me on the elevator and say "you live HERE") but that is what I prefer. I travel in and out of SG so having a maid was a good practical thing for me to watch my place. And she was honest to a "T". Back home in Manilla now. But. I'm heading back to Sg end of February. But, the girls are filipina and "lower quality", but still slutty and lots of fun, hahahahahahaha. I have posted on NINE bar about a month or so ago so check the posts for the street. Cheers. I monger in Phil 7-8 times a year. Trips already planned for March, May, July and September and this is in a year where most of my business will be in europe rather then Australia. Singapore use to be my fav mongering place before the crackdown because of the variety of women. Before I could find better looking indian chicks in Singapore then in india proper (talking WG here) , same for indos. The best use to come to Singapore and HK for the money. These days Singapore is a stop over for me or at times a business destination. It allows me to shed that sanitized conformist role and be free of societal expectations. Your compliments are not undeserving however, but in all honesty a little over-rated. You need a pink NRIC, a red passport and make CPF contributions to know Singapore beyond its surface, which is presumably as much as you know in order to have such a hypothesis.

Two nights later I brought my original passport along so we went to 81. My passport only was ok and we got the room. The hotel has legitimate guests and were given a "stand by" room (probably a way to describe ST rooms without being too obvious) located in the ground floor, a few steps away from reception. Room was far better and hotel a bit closer to OT than the other one.
Now I see why MY (original) passport was needed: so the girl did not get registered and her (multiple) stays recorded.
Since when is this enforced?
I can see the good point in the price negotiation.

Just finished my first trip to Singapore in several years.
Stayed at a hotel very near O. T.
As I had to get up rather early most mornings for meetings my 'shopping' was confined to the early / mid evening opportunities of O. T. And surrounding area.
Quite a change since my last visit. Then there were many Indonesians, Thais and a few assorted Sing and Malay girls.
Now the majority were Viet, Cambodians, Chinese and Philippine girls with of course, still some Thai, Some local and even a few black. One girl I spoke to was even from Sri Lanka.

i'll try again to post some of what i did before that didn't make it. as i mentioned, this is what i experienced a few weeks ago as a newbie to the sg scene and is probably common knowledge for the sg vets. this is some of the stuff i wish i knew before i went.

Two I'd rule is- regardless whether you are ST or LT. The hotels have been warned to stick to renting rooms and not becoming base of operation for hookers.

Well, as to your comments, about maids hitting on guys, you got no clue what you are talking. Only the dumb ones hit on the Europeans / Americans. The smarter ones always target locals, for the simple reason of the former being on transit and the chance of anything as return on investment is ZERO.
You could dispute it. But. Living here for more than 10 years, and having worked in bars for Sunday dances. I guess I know something. Or more.
As to working of course, they prefer European employers due to less work, more perks, and very lax rules. But, after all, reality strikes: only 10% of the maids here are employed by expats: 90% are employed by locals.

Or worse, shamed back home, or even worse, I saw cases of girls who did what you wrote about, and back in Singapore a month later, with their sister (to pay the extremely large amount due to the agent)
I always quitely ask them if they are under an agent, and if they start to say that they need to pay back, I take the middle road. Stay with me, but if you need to make money, go and do your business, don't expect me to pay you for the 2000 plus plus for the agent.
