Was in Singapore for business. IMHO, the quality seems to have improved from since I was last there about 6 months ago.

Day 4 was a write off – worked late – went shopping – went home and slept.

Hi all,
After all the great responses to my questions about 'Putain' Road here is a quick update of my findings last Friday.
Arrived Geyland around 5:00. Quick shower and a trip aroung Lorongs 12 to 20 showed no activity at all so I got a taxi and went in search of Pertain and Desker roads.
Pertain Road: Down the side alley I guess around half of the houses were closed and of those that were open only 20% of the rooms had girls (old ladies) working, the rest were bolted up. Actually the set-up, not quality, reminded of some of the places in Frankfurt except there were no stairs. Never bothered to even ask the price. What really surprised me was that there were queues outside of some of the doors.
Went down to Desker and was equally disappointed. I got a price of 60 SGD from one that I think, from the sound of the response, may have been a LB. Got another 3 quotes varying from 30 to 60 SGD.
The only worthwhile thing about the entire exercise was that there are loads of pretty young inidan girls around with friends etc. Definatley not SW. 10 points for people watching.
Saturday morning wen to do some shopping before the fligh to BKK and walked along Geyland between I guess and 16 and 20. Country Jamboree (across the way from Ipanema, turn left at the top of the escalators) might suit you a little better & the Bongo Bar (next floor up or go up the stairs at the back of Ipanema) is much quieter too. Brix could be an alternative as that wouldn't be classed as crowded.

FF: 'ashamed' is not the right word. Unlike for you as a foreign visitor, Singapore is a close-knit conservative society at its core where, shallow as it may seem, appearances matter to (most) locals. Many would not want to be seen cavorting in public with the domestic help, just as the Duchess of the Manor would not want to be seen having a frivolous affair with the butler in public. Does not mean of course, that it doesn't happen behind closed doors. ;)

Back against the mirrored wall, order a pitcher of Tiger, arrange empty chairs in a defensive perimeter, and wait for the crowd to arrive. If a comely young lass catches your eye, wave her over. Be nice. Buy her a drink whilst chatting / feeling her up. Don't be afraid to say NO to any that pressure you but don't appeal. Seek one that both entices your interest and with whom you seem to click. Avoid the twofer temptation. Never really works out unless it's with a girl you're regular with. Take a smartphone so you can type out as you negotiate. Don't afraid to be specific regarding duration and expected activities. Be careful when you go to Orchard Towers. There are two ripoffs you should be aware of. First are the massage parlors. You actaully don't get a massage here. They make you pay $40 for 30 minutes or $50 for 45 minutes, then take you to a small unpleasant room, give you a 5-minute lousy rub-down, then try to upsell you to pay $50-$75 for a handjob. You're out in 20 minutes, My advice is to avoid them.
Also, stay away from BMD bars in OT such as Peyton Place in the basement. The girls are cute, but you have to pay $50 SGD for one drink, then find out the girl can't go out with you unless she meets her drink quota, which means late at night if at all. Avoid these bars. You can tell if it's a BMD bar if there are very few guys there, but lots of girls who all make a bee-line for you and attack when you enter.

I have never been inside and do not know how big and busy it is.
I'd rateher prefer a bit 'large' venues or multi venues (as OT) where you can move freely around without being a target for the waitresses or the girls.
Well, not taht at OT you are not a girl target, but you can move around ignoring them, helped also by the crowd.
More difficult to disguise in smaller venues or with less patrons, so harder to observe YOUR targets and pick them.
Brix is big and busy enough for that strategy.
So are places in OT. Will arrive in S'pore tomorrow, so will head over and give BlowFish a look and report back.
While I agree with B'man approach in general, the less crowded venues can also provide an opportunity to talk, whereas the loudness of Ipanema and BRIX makes that a little more difficult at times. There are ups and downs about any spot, really. The great thing about Singapore, IMO, is that you have a nice variety of places to hunt, so you're bound to do well no matter what your method is. I always enjoy the Crossroads at Marriott too.

Hi All.
Blowfish bar isn't bad. And they also have Tea dances on sundays (nice place to score some maids, hehehe). The bar is in the middle of the room, it has good Aircon, but the dance area is small (in case you want to dance). But overall not a bad size place and seems not as crowded as Ipanema for example. But, beware, they will try to sell you beer in a GIANT "tap" that holds maybe 10-15 glasses of beer for SGD 100-120. Its fun to see it, but unless you are with a big group. Its too much.

This time I did not want to miss Geylang. Few hours after having touched down, I leave the hotel and I go for an exploration of the Lorongs (6pm). Not bad. Although not like in the Golden Times, I see some considerable talents on the streets.

On my last visit in November, one of the two OT basement Pinay bars (Blue Banana or Peyton Place, I don't remember) was closed. I am talking about the one with the door in front of the stair going down to basement. This time, it was open again. I tried it immediately after dinner. I found myself surrounded by 5-6 sexy Pinays in short dress, all eager to stay with me. In short, this place now turned to a BMD bar. !
A total waste of time for me: girls cannot leave the place. They only want you pay them a drink and, in change, you can touch and talk with them for a while. Well Econo, Am not rich. Lolz. Am really not. Am just a super normal middle class person. Flaw in your reasoning : Who said am holidaying here dude? Am here in Singapore for work. My company is giving the whole travel expenses and hotel expenses. You are just making assumptions man.
As Dreams said, there are 1. 2 billions of us today (I. E. Every sixth person being an Indian). I myself am sometimes struck by the level of arrogance some Americans, French, Japanese, Germans, Chinese have (yes, I have worked with them in my software company.). But at the same time, I have come across many of them who are really courteous and great to talk to. I cannot label all of them to be bad / arrogant / unthankful.
Same is true for Indians as well. It's a super huge country we have. You travel for 2 hours in one direction, and the language / lingo / mannerisms etc etc. Just changes. I myself, after having lived in India for 26 years am not able to adjust sometimes to the many different cultures we have.
But then, there is something called tolerance. If you can talk about your tolerance levels towards women (which I really appreciate) , I would love to see it towards men as well of different cultures. Am not asking you to be good towards arrogant people. They don't deserve it. But, based on your few experiences with Indians, I don't think it was right of you to bring the phrase "Indians are smelly / bad / not courteous / arrogant" into the whole context. This thread is to help mongerers, and NOT to take out your personal experiences with a race / culture.

Suggest you widen your search area. Everything in Singapore is within easy cheap reach by taxi. 24/7. Get a local SIM card and learn how to call for a taxi. You will be close to Geylang, but it isn't what it once was. OT is within easy reach by taxi, and being at the Roxy you will have more likelihood of getting LT without argument. OT, although it can be a bit intimidating, is likely the best venue for a SG newbie. Read the forum, feel free to ask specific questions, and make absolutely sure to hit local food in preference to western / hotel fare.

Anyone know of SIM cards that have no monthly fees, but have data? Prepaid sims here with data, the data is time limited. So a 1 GB data is for 7 days. At 7 $ or something.
You can upgrade your sim to a 3 G Sim, and get a new number in the process (pre-paids don't' allow transfer of #)
If you change your price plan to non-free incoming, the daily use deduction goes away. But still, the six months from last loading rule applies.
Not much you can do.
And I can't figure out why pre-paid is costing an arm and a length here, while for 60$ post paid, you get unlimited data, an instrument. And what not.

AFAnother option is to crack open the external HD case, and pull out the drive and connect it directly to your PC (if you have a laptop, you can buy a new SATA / IDE-USB connector at Sim Lim). That worked for me, because the failure was in the case USB adaptor.
A few different experiences in Singapore, some good, some average, one or two outstanding.
The Yellow Pages
I've had quite a few room-deliveries from YP agencies. A few EEs, a couple of Pinoys, a couple of Indonesians. Hit and miss as always with calling an agency. One little blonde Russian girl was a very happy memory, as was one young Taiwanese girl who started off being very conservative and ended up giving me a BBBJTC with CIM, a rarity in Singapore, esp. With the agencies.
A few points to note:
1. Always negotiate when you call. They will always come down from the first price quoted.

I usually frequent the "Sanctuary Spa" (think that's what it's called) on the top floor of the Far East Plaza on Scotts Road. SOP is to pay S$50 (for 45 mins, $ 35 for 30 mins) to the mamasan at reception, then she sends in the girls for you to choose. AFDon't worry Edison_to_be_2, just drop it off at your local computer shop. Just kidding. FriendlyPlanet is correct. Try his advice first but make sure you have a new hard drive with a HD case ready for the transfer. I would get a fan for the HDD because they do get very hot and that will kill the drive; both the desktop and laptop type. If there are read errors use something like spinrite.

A much cheaper and more successful approach is that you should go to the OT basement club Blue Banana. There you will find nice Filipinas with a LT price tag of 150. 200 SGD.
Things are pretty similar at Brix, prices are on the high side. Its like the UN so many nationalities. But quality has its price. Colombian babes are distant to say the least, a decent asian like a Korean I spoke to that was waxed all over and quite lovely wanted $400 ST, I guess you could negotiate. As far as I have been able to determine, none of the operators in Singapore offer such a thing. What you listed was a prepaid data SIM, that you could use with a cellular modem (or a phone, I guess) to get a broadband connection- but no voice.

Thanks in advance. Country Jamboree definitely is a Thai hangout, just be careful as some of them may not be ladies. There's also a place down lower (2nd floor I think) that's a country music venue and most of the girls are Thai. Some of them wear cowboy hats. Sorry I don't recall the name, only that it was a corner bar with windows looking down on the Orchard / Claymore corner. I was in and out of places there and just didn't pay attention to bar names much.

Anyhow the one visit to Country Jamboree I was visited solely by Thai girls (4-5 during the course of a drink). As none of them got me going I didn't stay all that long. I also didn't interview to see if they were Cambos or any other country. Didn't matter to me.

This info is current as of June 7 2011. Ipanama was packed last nite. 85-90% viets, and the rest a couple thais, indos and 4-5 black girls from Tanzania. How do I know 4-5. Well, they stood out in the crowd because they are tall, larger than the Asians, etc. If that is you thing, they are pretty, but for me, sort of too big. But chatted a couple up and they are nice. They will do bi stuff if you take 2 of them back, or if you and a buddy do that.
Country jamboree was pretty quiet, just some older viets it seemed and a couple from Cambodia. Other places seemed quiet also. There are some photos, and it sounds like that area gets Blue uniform action just about every couple of weeks. Seems like the only thing different this time was instead of taking away a handful of girls, it was more like 20 this time.

Last year, prior to one of my regular trips to Singapore, I embarked upon a mission to see how much 'freebie' fun I could land using an online 'dating' service for local Asian girls.
This was spurred on by some discussions and information posted on ISG, and as I've many a-time visited Brix and checked out OT (although Brix is more my style) , I thought it'd be an interest change. And maybe even a bit of a a challenge. To try this avenue for a change.
Now, I'm not a huge fan of Singapore as a city or a destination in itself. But it's one of the Asian hubs for business (the other being Hong Kong, of course). And after those business meetings and often obligatory dinners there's fortunately there's plenty of punter-friendly diversions (especially if you like Asians of course, but also a goodly share of non-Asian ladies at Brix and even at some of the OT bars).
So any chance to visit Singapore means I can mix business with pleasure.
Ditto for trips to Europe. Mine usually go via Singapore, so I always engineer a day or two stopover (sometimes on both legs) for a little fun between flights.
And if you happen to be an Aussie-based punter who is yet to travel, and might be looking for a place to visit which is respectable from a 'tourist' perspective as well as offering some playtime opportunities, Singapore quite nicely fits the bill. It's not the only Asian destination to do so. Hong Kong and Thailand would also be worth considering. But as the most 'Westernised' Asian city Singapore is an easy visit which still retains the Asian flavour and colour to make it 'different'. And as a rule, you can get some great airfares on special and the AUD-SGD exchange rate also works well in our favour.
In fact, if you map out a few days off for yourself outside school holidays, you can enjoy an extra-long weekend (fly up Friday, fly back Monday) without getting bored. However, anything near a week of leisure in Singapore, even just five days, and boredom will almost certainly set it!
Anyway: I mapped the progress and results of my freebie experiment on an Australian punter forum but thought it would be worthwhile sharing here, for the benefit of any ISG members who've ever been curious in giving this a try.
So, without further ado and for your reading pleasure, I submit "FlyBoy's Singapore freebie-fest", or "Four nights of Asian poon without paying for it, well, kinda sorta": In which your humble correspondent ventures to Singapore to combine business with pleasure but never once sets foot in OT or Brix.

First up, some initial details on the DateInAsia site and my pre-trip notes detailing my strategy as planned. Although you'll see from later posts that I undoubtedly tried to cram too many ladies into too little time.
DateInAsia is free – yep, totally free – no charge to join, to list yourself, to browse or search for listed ladies, or even to send messages. There's not even a block on listing email addresses or phone numbers (which some of the obviously more 'commercially-minded' ladies do) in the profiles, let alone the messages. (So how does DiA recover its costs? Advertising. That's all there is to it, and that's easily ignored or even blocked!)
Once you've created your profile and ideally uploaded a photo, it's on for young and old. Literally. Listings start at 18 and go up to, well, almost as high as you'd want. Nothing wrong with 40something Asian women, most of them 'age' well and look younger than their years. The primary countries it covers are all across Asia – China, HK, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. (There are also listing for Asian women living in any other country, such as Australia, for local guys who like Asian women).
Note that as soon as you create your listing you'll start getting emails that so-and-so is interested in you or has sent you a message. This is where it gets a bit insane, because 95% of those women don't read your profile, they don't care if you've said you will be visiting HK and ONLY want to hear from women in HK. You'll get a million messages from Pinoys, several hundred thousand from Thai and the rest from China.
Most ranging from 'Hi! ' or 'Hello, ' to many with offers chat on Yahoo, do a webcam session etc. Yep, plenty of attempts to scam on here, and also well-meaning ladies pinging any new guy in the hope of landing a BF or husband. You just have to ignore all these.
Unfortunately, there's a bit of a vicious cycle at work. You don't get their messages delivered to your email address, just a note that so-and-so has sent you a message, so you click on the link to go to Date in Asia – and as soon as you're logged in, you appear at the top of the search list for men (as this is sorted based on those who're most recently online) and this triggers off a new wave of pointless messages!
Anyway, just run a search and focus on the age range and country (you can also drill down to city within each country) – so. 25-35 for HK, for instance. Read each profile to learn about the girl, how she describes herself and what she's looking for.
Those options are listed as the desired age range and type of relationship – friends, romance, relationship and marriage. Here's how I treated them:
* 'friends' = probably no sex.
* 'romance' = dinner, drink and casual sex.
* 'relationship' = just like a regular relationship and yes, with sex.
* 'marriage' = marriage, with sex at the start but possibly little or no sex later on, so eventually you'll be back on Date in Asia looking for 'romance'
Deciding which girl to message, and decoding her own profile, is then up to you. I've been running my own set of discretionary 'filters' to determine which girls I approach, and I'll go into these on my return because they may or may not be relevant or even useful!
However, after a few weeks on Date in Asia, firing off a bunch of messages and striking up email and online chats and even the odd phone chat with ladies, I've got almost dozen candidates lined up for my four-day visit. Fitting them into my business schedule, and slotting them into appropriate times which are appropriate for me, and them, and for what we may or may not end up doing after we have a cocktail or even a coffee – man, it's a bit of a logistics nightmare! There's also the fact that a drink or dinner with one might yield immediate results, while another could just be a warming-up with fireworks saved for the second date.
So based on exchanges with each one to date, I'm prioritising them in order of Likely To Put Out, rated on a scale of 1-5. 5 is 99. 99% f*ckable right away, while when you get to 2 and 1 it's more about investing time getting to know them so that I can be closer to the touchdown line on my next visit. 1s are also the ones I will ditch first from my schedule if things get tight – will SMS them to say "Sorry, caught up in meeting, can't do drinks tonight" if a higher-rated girl (more likely to put out) needs their slot, or if a drink with a 3/5 reveals she's actually a 5/5!
It all sounds rather mercenary when I see this being written – but it's all about being time-efficient, and once again, no-one's 'using' anyone (at least, not in a way they don't want).
The ladies who indicate they're indeed up for 'romance' or with whom I can lay good groundwork for my next visit, get priority over those who don't. If she's not interested in being with me, either this week or next visit, if I get the vibe that this isn't going to amount to anything for either of us, then I cut loose.
And here I pause to share a classic tip from a fellow ISG punter: he sets his phone to do a 'dummy ring' partway through each dinner or drinks with the girl – if the vibe is that it's going nowhere then he begs off the date with excuses of work-related stuff, conference call, f*ck-up in USA or UK office or something; if the vibe's heading towards the bed then he ignores the call, which wins him huge points with the girl because it shows he is putting her before work, values her company etc!
So, before commencing this trip I had the following on my dance card:
* a 5/5 (we've already had some webcam fun!) visiting each day between meetings and probably Sunday before I fly out.
* a 4. 9/5 meeting me at the hotel for a 'midnight martini' cocktail session shortly after I arrive in Singapore on late Wednesday night.
* a 4/5 for dinner Thursday, with the chance of her being upgraded to 5/5 Thursday night or Friday night, so those dinners and late night slots are tentatively booked to her.
* a 3. 5 on SMS standby in case Ms 4 stays as a 4 on Thursday night.
* a few 3/5s coming for a drink each evening before the 4/5, with some more for Saturday.
* and a few 2s who will get a strictly-rationed one hour coffee slot between the rest!
* there's also a pair of 1s who can have an hour of coffee time if I have it to spare, in case they're a decent investment for my _next_ visit (because they sound good but I seriously doubt they'd put out on my first trip)
* plus a 4. 99 (she's a 'promotions girl' at a bar, who lists her mobile in her profile and makes it pretty clear without being too specific what she's up for) on SMS standby for any afternoon, before her bar shift starts that night.
As you can see, this is going to require some precision maneuvering and a fair bit of SMSing to pull off!
Finally, always have a back-up plan: I've got the mobile number of two Brix babes, one stunning EE and a curvy but very fun and passionate Filo, as standby in case the well runs dry!
So for those who've got a Singapore trip in the pipeline it'd definitely be worth checking out Date in Asia in advance, giving yourself some time to email, 'pursue' and woo them (as needs be) to pre-qualify them and develop some relationship, and then set up some meetings for your next trip!

Now, a few words on the criteria I used to sort through the many profiles on DIA.
I looked for profiles that showed some command of English (not always common!) and also a little effort in writing them.
I ignored the ones whose profile indicates the girl is _heavily_ into nightlife, clubbing, dancing etc. There are plenty of other fish in the sea for those generally Pretty Young Things, although of course they could be up for some fun and some spending money as a bonus, but their scene isn't my scene.
I quickly cast asunder all those who mention God pretty much anywhere in their profile – especially who say they're God-fearing, crap on about how they love God and even include the odd Bible quote. Yes, some of the religious ones can be pretty full-on in the sack, but I reckoned they would be less inclined towards the possible one night stand / casual fling I had in mind.
Also off the list were those who make it clear they are seeking marriage & family (even if they say they're also looking for 'romance' and a 'relationship'). There's enough fish in the sea for me without my leading someone on, or spending time chatting up someone who wants that more than someone who's clearly up for a more casual thing.
Beyond that, it's not hard to read between some of the lines which the ladies put in their profile – especially the younger (20-30) ones who leave their entire 'desired relationship' status open to something like '18-80. Friends, romance, relationship, marriage'!
My discretionary filters leant a bit towards some like that, as they're probably P4P amateurs (especially a cute early 20s who wants men 25-45 or such) , plus 30s who sometimes make more of a case for what they're after and where that appeals to me.
A high number of the girls in Singapore listing on DIA are Filos working as domestic helpers, nannys or maids (some use the jargon 'OFW' for 'Overseas Foreign Worker') , and as a rule they're up for fun (and maybe some shopping money, or even just a bit of shopping where you buy some nice clothes or shoes for them). But more often than not they can't get away during the night and often not even during the day. Sunday is usually their only full day off.
Once I'd identified the girl and swapped messages I tried to shift things to email, and a few were very keen to do I'm chat (Yahoo Messenger is exceptionally popular in Singapore) , which can be good because if you can show interest in them make them laugh etc, you're more than halfway home. I also made sure we swapped mobile phone numbers so I could SMS them once I was on the ground.
I then entered them into my phone's address book with a dot in front of their name (eg. Anna, . Maria) so their names would come up first, at the top of the address book, as I'd be needing to SMS them the most often – so I didn't have to scroll through my entire address book, and it also helped me remember who was who (if they had a dot in front of their name they were Singapore poon).

So here is how my strategy, as detailed earlier, worked in the real world.
I'the lined up almost a dozen dates through DiA, although a large chunk of those were considered 'investments' for a future visit.
The final tally of bedded babes was four, which I thought was a pretty good strike rate – especially when I had only four nights in Singapore (including one 'no nookie' night off) and nothced up a return visit from one girl.
What was interesting, however, was the way this all shaped up. After spending a fortnight ahead of my trip choosing the women, and in most cases developing some measure of rapport via email (and in some cases Skype or webcam sessions) , and considering my limited time due to business appointments, I decided to give each girl a rating out of five, based on 'Likely To Put Out'. To recap: a 5 was 99. 99% f*ckable right away, with little or no hassle or extra work 'on the ground'. A 2 or 1 was more about investing time getting to know them so that I can be closer to the touchdown line on my next visit.
I then prioritised my time for each girl according to that scale. The 5's and 4's got preference for dinner or a late-night cocktail slot, the 1's and 2's got an hour or two over coffee or a pre-dinner drink and were also the ones I'the ditch if the schedule got tight.
I also tried to slot some 3's and 2's earlier into my trip, in case our first 'breaking the ice' meeting could lead to a second more fruitful meeting later in my trip.
As you can see, all this requires a feat of logistics and co-ordination, and I'the recommend this approach only if you've got the better part of a week in Singapore. For a few days only, you'll need to spend more time up front to lock in a 4. 5, do some no-expectations drinks with some 3's for your next visit, or just forget about it (because it's a lot of extra 'work') and make a beeline to Brix or OT.
On the whole, I believe my strategy proved sound. But when you're dealing with women, well, nothing's ever a sealed deal!
I needed to make several changes on the fly, and spend a bit of time drafting a schedule to see where I could fit this girl and that girl as things changed (as they inevitably do) due to changes in my own schedule, that of the girls, and of their status (eg a 3. 5 becoming a 5 on the first date!).
I'm pretty certain I had too many irons in the fire. I ended up striking a 1 completely off my schedule. I also ditched a 4. 99 'promo girl' from a bar because I got the feeling she was going to be more trouble than she was worth.
There were two girls who simply couldn't get their own shit together to meet me, despite back-and-forth arrangements on times to meet. I wrote them off.
And I totally mucked up three chances at meeting a 3. 5 – our schedules kept conflicting, not helped by the fact that she couldn't check her personal email at work, and the closest we got was when I was in one bar at Chijmes (a popular Singapore nightspot which was across the road from my hotel) for a pre-dinner drink with a #2 that was supposed to end at 7ish, and she was at a bar at the other end waiting for me – but #2 ran over and by the time I was done, I got an SMS saying it was 7. 15pm and she'the left.
This taught me the value of playing the numbers a bit smarter, so next time I'll resist the temptation to hit quantity and play the better cards in the deck, as I'm sure Ms 3. 5 would have become a 5 this time or next.
So that's all Good Stuff to bear in mind if you decide to try Date In Asia (or a similar dating site) to have fun with freebies on your next overseas trip.

Okay, so you've read how my strategy played out in the real world. Now let's use some specific examples to join the dots.
First up: I stayed staying at The Fairmont, which is one of my favourite hotels in Singapore. A superb five star or even six star hotel with great rooms, including a large bathroom with 'rain-forrest' shower head, big bath and a pane of glass between the bath and bedroom. Get a girl into this room and she's yours on toast.
The Fairmont also has some terribly cute reception staff and a fairly busy foyer with too many couches where colleagues might be sitting as you wander in or out. Happened to me one time this visit in fact, they'the asked me about heading out for a drink, I declined on the basis of work to do, but when I came back downstairs ten minutes later they were sitting there waiting for another colleague – so I had to bluff that I'the decided to join them after all, and thus lost an hour drinking at the hotel's Ink Bar.
Anyway, the Fairmont is less than a block from Chijmes, which I designated as my preferred meeting place. A few nice bars around there, including one where the waitresses dress as French maids (!). They quickly got to know me and my regular drink order, and were bemused by the fact that I kept meeting up with so many cute Asian women at all hours of the day and night!
The Fairmont also has some bars of its own, including two at the very top of the adjacent Swissotel (great view, and nice to take a 4 or higher).
There are also some simpler cafes around The Fairmont for women who according to their profiles didn't drink (understandably, all non-drinkers were automatically marked down by 1 point on the FlyBoy scale).
I'm detailing this because reasonable proximity to a selection of bars is something you may want to consider about your own hotel if you plan a freebie fest.
So, over the next few posts, I'll detail how it all panned out.

FIRST NIGHT.
I've already lined up a 'midnight martini' meet-up with 'Anna' (a 4. 9) , as my flight wouldn't get me to the hotel until around 11pm (and I wanted time to unpack, shower, change and grab a quick club sandwich).
I've already had a few online chats with Anna but have not seen her photo – after we clicked nicely, and she liked that I made her laugh, I decided not to even ask for her pic, to make this a little 'adventure', which she thought was really fun and played into the same spirit with which she approached the evening rendezvous.
And honestly, if her description in the profile was honest then at worst she'the be a small slim but only averagely attractive Asian girl, and I figured I could live with that (and certainly could sleep with it).
Anna meets me in the lobby, and she turns out to be a cute little early 30s Filipino spinner. I was for some reason expecting local Chinese / Singaporean but I don't care – not only am I broadminded, but I've become a late-in-life convert to Filo femmes and love their passion and sense of fun, as well as that they usually have good enough English to chat with.
We head to Chijmes for the promised martinis and Anna's everything I hoped for – bright, smart and chatty (she's a professional girl with a real job in a local firm, not a maid or domestic).
After two drinks we make tracks back to the hotel and my room, where she enjoys the view while I enjoy her neck, playing it all nice and slow, because I know that she (like many girls on DiA) are after something more resembling 'romance' rather than a straight-out jumping of the bones.
That segues into a fantastic GFE session – Anna is 100% sensual sizzle in bed, everything I enjoy about Filo women – and to my amazement our session stretches out long and languid despite my being tired (although I'the slept on the plane in readiness, it's now past 3am Sydney time). Multiple positions, no rush, great natural oral from her, and by the time we're done the tally is three solid orgasms for her and two for me.

I've arranged my meetings to take me through to lunch and then a free afternoon, which is when 'Maria' – a Filo domestic who's able to take time off during the day, as long as she's back home by 5pm – is slated to visit.
I've already had webcam fun with Maria, so I know she's a 5/5. It's too early for cocktails but she agrees to have a vodka in the hotel bar, before we head to our room for a few hours of fun.
Maria's not nearly as much fun as Anna, alas. A slightly heavier build, clearly less experienced than Anna and a bit more of a 'nice girl' (well, not _that_ nice obviously!).
4pm rolls around and she heads off, while I freshen up and set out for a 5pm getting-to-know-you coffee with a 2 for the sake of seeing what we might get up to next time. The 2's a bit of a dud – a local Singaporean-Chinese with not much connection at all – but we do the coffee and the niceties, and then go our separate ways.
Over to Chijmes for 6. 30pm pre-dinner drink with a 3 – Jenny is another local Chinese girl, short and slim and cute as a button, who also turns out to be quite good company. We agree to catch up for dinner before I leave, so I'm thinking she may be upgrading to a 5/5.
Dinner is 8pm with a 4/5 – Samantha is another Filo but like Anna, a professional career woman who works in Singapore for a decent wage (she's got residency) and sends money back home. Tall and slim, well dressed, but there's just not that 'vibe' I thought we had when we talked on the phone a few times. And she's the first to describe herself, in a self-effacing way, as a bit 'boring'.
Well, that's not quite how I'the describe her but I get the feeling Sam is seeking more of a relationship than something 'casual', and I've already made it clear that a long-distance relationship is not on the cards for me. So while I'the come to Singapore expecting she might become a 5/5 with an overnight stay, we enjoy dinner and drinks and part company as friends but nothing more.
Seeing where the dinner and evening was headed, before desert came out I popped into the gents and SMS'the a 'standby' 4/5 for a late-night cocktail, but that yields no reply. I get back to the hotel and consider a trip to Brix but I'm quite buggered after the short night and long day, and also, having enjoyed some free poon (and high quality poon, in the case of Anna) I'm oddly reticent to pay up front for it. So I hit the sack solo.

SECOND DAY.
My tweaked business schedule is once again designed to finish after lunch, with another visit from Maria, but after yesterday's experience I'm not as keen, so during the morning I SMS her and beg off due to an unexpected after-lunch meeting at 3pm (a fabrication, of course).
This frees me up to bring forward to 3pm a late arvo coffee meeting with a 2 who works evenings in a restaurant – I'm figuring that if we click she could visit my hotel after her shift ends, and if not, well, my schedule now has a bit more time later in the arvo. So on the fly I arrange a 4. 30pm meeting with a 3 whose schedule and mine haven't quite matched up yet.
The 2 (Malay) and I get along fine but she's not my type, and I think that pursuing a casual situation with her would take a bit more time and effort than I'm up for this visit.
This is followed by the 3 (local Chinese girl) , she I get along very well, but I can tell nothing will happen this time around. I don't mind as much because I find myself quite taken with her, so I'm going to invest time in emails and chats so that on my next visit we can really enjoy some special time together, because she's That Sort of a girl.
So now it's close enough to a pre-arranged dinner with Jenny, yesterday's 3.
We start with drinks at Chijmes, head to Clarke Quay for dinner and a walk around, during which time we get to holding hands and swap gentle kisses, but she tells me she has to be home by midnight – she lives with her mother and sister (not uncommon in Singapore, many locals live at home until they get married, as they can't quality for a public housing apartment – these are very good apartments in which some 85% of the population live – unless they're married, and private condominiums cost a packet).
I offer to share the cab back to my hotel and then have it take her onwards to home. We get back to The Fairmont and my little goodnight kiss in the taxi receives a surprisingly fervent and sensual response.
Taking the hint, I suggest maybe she'the like a cocktail in their top-floor excellent-view-of-the-city bar before heading home, as it's still early (around 10. 30pm). Jenny agrees and we head up for a round of cocktails and a superb view of the night skyline.
By now I'm getting the feeling that Jenny is one of those 'nice' Chinese girls who doesn't like to put things out there, would rather the guy take the lead so she doesn't feel too responsible for it all.
So I tell her the view from my room is different but also very nice, if she'the like to have a look before she leaves (after all, she's already said that being a local girl she rarely visits hotels like mine, never stays in them of course, is interested when I describe the room etc).
She agrees, and of course exactly what you'the expect to happen happens – not that we have as much time as I'the like, because Jenny is adamant she needs to be home by midnight, which means leaving the hotel around 11. 45pm. Just as well that she's all revved up and ready to go not long after we enter the room! So we dive into the action and I delight in her exceptionally cute body and shy-girl-next-door-turns-it-on nature.
Then we hit the shower together, and shortly before midnight Jenny is out the door, while FlyBoy is smiling that for day #2, three holes filled isn't too bad!

THIRD DAY.
This day begins with more of the same as previous: meetings from morning through to early afternoon.
I've deliberately spread what could have been two _solid_ days of work across four days, although my attempts to fill the final afternoon slot have drawn a blank.
You see, I left some room in the tail end of this schedule but I've miscalculated – the girls that remain on my list _all_ work during the day, so I face a few empty hours in the afternoon and then a potential logjam in the early evening.
A bunch of emails and SMS messages bounce back and forth to help to straighten things out, although I almost wish I could just get all these women onto a conference call and work out my schedule in one session (but I think the women would not co-operate!).
In the end I have to nix a meeting with a Singaporean 3. 5, after several failed attempts to connect, because she works in the CBD but doesn't want to hang around the city.
A promising 3/5 Singaporean-Filo named Cindy has the same problem, but she's keen to meet and later sends an SMS to say she's free that night until the next morning (interesting choice of words!) but then she's busy through to when I leave.
So she gets the dinner slot and I do a pre-dinner drink with Sarah, a local Indian 2/5. I'm not a fan of Indians but Sarah's one of those tallish, slim and light-skinned girls with sharp feminine features, a great laugh and very smart to boot. She's quite entertaining company and we agree to catch up next time I'm in town.
Cindy turns out to be – well, no other way to put this – a repeat of Jenny from the night before!
I shamelessly play the same routine – pre-dinner drinks at Chijmes, dinner and a walk around Clarke Quay, back to the hotel for cocktails, then back to my room for <ahem! And a midnight taxi home for her.

LAST DAY.
It's Saturday, which gives me a chance for lunch and a visit to the local art museum with Grace, a local Singaporean who I'the rated as a 2/5 on the FlyBoy Scale but very quickly scored as a 9/10 when it comes to just about everything else.
Attractive (in a cute girl-next-door way) , smart, well-read and well-travelled, loves her coffee and sweets, has the right curves just where I like 'them to be."Okay FlyBoy," I think to myself,"this could be a problem!".
If Grace lived in Sydney, where I live, I'the be dating her in a minute flat.
I'm under no allusions that we will become An Item this time around, and maybe not even next time. Grace seems to be seeking more of a relationship, which is something I don't think I can do given the distance and something that probably doesn't appeal to her either for the same reason – so we're set to keep in contact online, catch up next time I visit and probably remain Just Friends.
This makes it a little easier for me to tackle the rest of the day – late afternoon and evening, until the late night flight home – with Anna, my delightful Filo spinner from the first night. FlyBoy needs to muster his reserves to push Grace out of his mind, but Anna proves a good tonic. We're not playing at anything more than Fun, although we enjoy each other's company outside of the bed.
A wander through the shops in the Raffles Plaza below the hotel to buy her some lingerie (Singapore has an atrocious range of brands compared to Australia, and they're bloody expensive too!) , back to the room to drop off the bags – Anna changes into her new bra & G-string and, well, things progress from there!
An hour later we hit the shower and head to an early dinner at Boat Quay, back to Chijmes for a sentimental cocktail, then back to the room for a few final hours together before I head off to Changi.
And that, my friends, is FlyBoy's freebie adventure in Singapore – presented not just with details for you to enjoy but with mistakes and learnings for you to be mindful of, should your own adventures lead you down this path.
Before closing that chapter, a final note: my intro described this thread as 'Four nights of Asian poon without pay, well, kinda sorta'. Take note of the kinda-sorta caveat. There's no such thing as a free poon, well, at least not of some quality.
One has to consider the time is takes to set up all of this before your trip, to do the emails and chat sessions. There's some 'cost' in that time.
There's the cost of cocktails (not cheap, especially not in Singapore). The cost of a decent dinner that you and your girl de jour can enjoy and she can remember and enjoy for the fact that she's being 'romanced' (example: a Wagyu steak dinner for myself and Anna with appetisers and shared desert plus drinks cost S$300).
Anna's admittedly classy Euro-cut bra and panties were S$250 – a rip-off when you can get much more variety and IMHO a better-quality set of 'Elle by Bendon' duty-free at Sydney Airport for around $90, which I'll get for Anna on my next trip.
Now some will point out, and quite rightly so, that S$250-$300 can get you a top girl from Brix to stay the night. And she'll probably be pretty bloody good in bed.
But you know what? I've had a few great GFEs from Brix but none which come anywhere close to as I've had with Anna, and even the short-time sessions with Jenny and Cindy had their own allure in 'the thrill of the hunt', plus a freshness that you don't get from what is essentially a commercial transaction at Brix or OT.
On top of which, dating is fun. The 'romancing' and the game is fun, even when it doesn't always pan out the way you might like.
I'm certainly not going to take Brix off my menu for fun in Singapore, but it's also nice to branch out and be a Guy who can win some girls on his merits rather than a Punter for a change.

DIA FOR DUMMIES.
If you think this DiA 'freebie' strategy requires one to be a Master of Pickups, think again. I'm actually not that good at meet-ups – and I'm talking about making getting-to-know-you chat with a guy, a business contact, as much as a girl – it's just that I've learned to 'fake it' with the best of 'them, sufficient to getting by. But I know some people who are SO much better at it than me, and that doesn't mean they're all Mr Smooth or Mr Suave type of blokes – just guys who seem to be able to quickly engage with you on a very genuine level of interest.
But once you start swapping emails off the Dating In Asia site, or do some online chat using Yahoo or Skype, it's not that hard to get to know the girls a bit better. And I found Skype was good for the odd phone call to some I got on well enough with, just the odd catch-up call now and again before my visit. I had webcam sessions with one and they were a nice way to connect, and we had a little 'fun' online – but you have to of course be wary of so many girls who immediately want you to do webcam chat, as there's a lot of scamming going on out there.
The main thing, I found, was that my initial message to the girl on DIA showed in some way that I had read her profile (and found it appealing for whatever reason, and thus said so). Then subsequent messages and emails didn't over-egg anything, just swapped more info about whatever we wanted to talk about, and that varied from one girl to the next, you just go with the flow.
This lays some groundwork of familiarity so that when you meet you've already got a few things to talk about, a few more questions to ask them, and then you can just go from there.
FWIW this was my first time doing anything like this, apart from a stint on an Aussie dating site (RSVP) which really much more for finding a real 'relationship', a ideally a long-term partner. I've never sought any of the 'casual dating' or hook-up stuff through any dating sites, AdultMatchMaker or similar.
But it helps when you've done the work beforehand to try and be sure you're dealing with girls who want the same thing as you.
In my case that meant avoiding girls who clearly wanted a Relationship leading to Marriage, and making my own intent fairly clear on my profile and being honest in any chats I had with ladies where there was any room for doubt.
For example, Grace – the one who I sorta fell for after lunch and a museum visit – was very clear up-front to ask if I was seeking 'companionship or a relationship'. Now I initially read 'companionship' as meaning 'casual involvement while I'm in Singapore', and in fact I think my profile used the 'see' word in that context but didn't make an outright statement.
Anyway, I told her that I was certainly open to a relationship with the right person but would be understandably cautious of entering into a long-distance relationship. She thought that was fair enough, and on that basis we met (although it would appear she considered 'companionship' to mean 'company' for lunch, museum visits and other social activities but not beyond that).
On the other hand, several other girls to whom I was up-front told me they appreciated my honesty with them, and that clearly worked in my favour – some were seeking the same thing (what DIA seems to call 'romance', as one step up from 'friends' and one short of 'relationship') and thus we met up, others were not and thus we didn't meet.
As a result, I knew that the ones I met were at the very least open to a casual involvement, and that in turn made out meetings a lot easier as it relieves the pressure right from the get-go.
Now, here's a little background and insider insight into Singapore and the types of girls you meet on DiA.
Some of the girls I dated were professionals in the non-WL sense. They hold down the same sort of office job as you'd find most girls in the Sydney CBD of a daytime or at the hotels etc of an evening. Accountants or finance, marketing, middle management etc.
Others had more casual making-ends-meet jobs in a cafe or restaurant, or hoping to start their way up the ladder as a salesgirl or office assistant.
Then you've got the maids, domestic helpers (almost always Pinoys) , who earn bugger-all – usually no more than S$400 per month – that's right, S$100 per week! (The 'average is S$300 / month, I'm told). Now they get free board and meals, because they live with the family, but still, they have to send a fair chunk of that income back home (a staggering 30% of The Philippines GDP comes from outside the country, ie, money sent back home from overseas workers!).
And they usually have almost no real social life outside their employer's family, and thus no romance or relationship or sex, because they have to be home of a night to cook dinner and such, and in most cases the only day off they get is a Sunday and even then they have a curfew and must be back by dinner-time. (Which is why Sunday in Singapore is a big day for visitors to score a Filo freebie if they've got some game).
I dated girls across all those categories, and as you can image each category has a different reason for seeking even a casual liaison.
And those liaisons are certainly predisposed towards Caucasians – mainly Aussie and Brit / Euro, less so Yanks – for many reasons. As you mention, we Aussies can enjoy a lot of attention in Singapore! We have a pretty good reputation there – generally nice guys, fun and easy going. Most Singaporean and Pinoy girls will end up marrying a guy from their race but Caucasians are a fun 'aside' before they settle down. We're different to the rest of the local guys, and I'm told we often treat the girls better too. (As well as genetically having an advantage in the tackle department).
Even just walking down the street in Singapore, if you keep eyes up and look to make eye contact with cute local girls, you'll find they are VERY open to making eye contact with you and then all you need to do is give them a quick cheeky wink or a smile and you almost always get a nice response – a grin, a cheeky happy smile, a coy coquettish smile, and as often than not a bit of a happy blush.
You don't have to take it any further, and often the girls are in pairs, but the very fact an attractive or just decent-looking Caucasian bloke did this little 'flirt' with them gets a warm response. Compared to Australia, where it's often either a courteous automatic-response smile or a 'drop dead, creep! ' frown / stare.
(Ditto in Russia, also. I found the Russian girls were almost like on constant radar alert for any Caucasian non-local guy, and they'd make the eye contact and smile in an oh-so-beguiling way, even through the window of a cafe as you walked outside).
Anyway, also important to point out that it's not always about money. In a case like mine, there's the allure of 'adventure' – a business traveller (sounds very special!) , a guy who treats them nicely simply by showing manners and good grace and is interested in them, fun to be with etc.
Also that the traveller's got a nice hotel room with big bath, bed, great view etc – 85% of Singaporeans live with their folks in a govt-provided apartment (these are often very nice places. 3 bedrooms, nothing like 'public housing' as we know it in Australia) , and can't move out until they get married (the govt restricts apartments to couples who are married!) or unless they are in the top bracket who're paid well enough to rent or share a private apartment or 'condo'. So even if they have a local bf they can't get much quality private time with them, so a travelling guy has that added allure of a top-notch private hotel room.
And finally, for a lot of these girls, it's that this arrangement gives them some fun and 'romance' and sex without getting all the hang-ups of getting into a local relationship. Even for career women, their options in Singapore can be rather limited.
So in the case of Anna I'm not even a 'sugar daddy', just a boyfriend-of-sorts who treats her to dinner and drinks and a bit of shopping. Which is exactly as I'd do to any 'real' girlfriend in Sydney, and hopefully the sort of thing she'd get if she had a 'real' boyfriend in Singapore. (Which most professional Pinoys don't have unless he's an ex-pat working there – they tend to not date Chinese, they stay away from Indians, and you don't get many Pinoy males working in Singapore).

DIA DATING VS OT / BRIX PUNTING.
Now, was my adventure / challenge just about sex or even 'free' sex? No.
I can get sex. By which I mean "commercially available" sex – any time I go to Singapore, and in the past I almost always have, mainly courtesy of Brix and OT.
But even when I visit Brix I'm seeking a bit more of a connection with the lady than just a sexual one – I'm seeking more than just a stacked hot bod. That could be because I tend to book Brix girls for overnight and I like to be able to enjoy all of my time with them, not just the time between the sheets (or on the lounge, in the bath, up against the window, out on the balcony. Well, you get the idea!).
So if I wanted "just sex" then I'd have headed to Brix as I almost always do. And it could easily be argued that the cost of my DIA experiences – not just the dollar-cost as earlier detailed but the cost of time in advance with messages, emails, chats etc (not to mention the time trying to draw up and juggle a schedule!) , all of which is moot when you go to Brix – was more than for a Brix babe. And that underscores my point that this wasn't about "just sex", nor was it about trying to get sex for 'free' when it's so relatively cheap in Singapore in the first place.
This DIA experience was about seeking companionship outside the bed and indeed outside the room. My business trips to Singapore are usually just about that. Business. Usually all day, and often a dinner as well.
But there's also times when time is mine, and that's not something I enjoy as much, being single and knowing Singapore pretty well (it's not like a totally new city to set out and discover on my own).
Truth be told, like most single blokes I do not enjoy flying solo, but I have relatively unique circumstances which mitigate against a relationship. So I figured that DIA would allow me to meet and spend time with some local girls who are like-minded – who are single and would enjoy spending some time with the right kind of guy.
Yes, the sex with Anna (for example) was great. But so was the dinner, the walking around, the talking and shopping. There's a degree of comfort and 'intimacy' (non-sexual) in that which you don't get from a tumble with a Brix babe.
Ditto my lunch and museum visit with Grace. No sex there, but a wonderful way to spend the better part of a day. For a guy, these encounters are wonderful in their own way.
Of course the end-aim of the DIA experiment was to land a girl for the night. Which is what I tried to make relatively clear in my profile on the site, and something I made no effort to hide from the girls I got to know through the site.
That was the thinking behind DiA's use of the term 'romance' as one of the four tick-a-box relationship types specified in one's DIA profile. You can say you're seeking friends, romance, relationship and / or marriage.
As far as I can tell, and this was pretty much confirmed through messages, chats and meet-ups with the various girls,"romance" is DiA code for "casual sex if you're both inclined". It's a step more than "friends", but a step less than a "relationship".
But one also has to understand that while "casual sex","hook-up" or such might be suitable terms to use in some countries, Asian women more often than not would not respond to that, because it's not just about a quick roll in the hay. It's about what they perceive as the romance element which is prelude to a sexual relationship – making a bit of a connection, meeting for a drink and / or dinner.
But this stops short of being a "Relationship" (although they can of course tick the 'relationship' box on their profile to express an openness for things to head in that direction, and most do). So you're left with the modern elements of 'courtship' or 'dating' which culminate in sex, and that sexual tryst is essentially one-off or casual / short-term in nature.
None of the ladies I bedded, not even Jenny or Cindy, were under any allusions about what would happen after our night together or after I left Singapore. It was all about the date, the 'romance', maybe the 'adventure / fun' for them of being with a Caucasian guy (who treated them well, etc). Jenny and Cindy just happened to belong to that category of Asian women who are a little suppressed in acknowledging their sexual side.
This is quite common with girls from many Asian countries, and it's the reason you often hear guys who've had Asian girlfriends mention how the girls seem so amazingly different in the bedroom, once they get going – there's a public face and a private face (this duality is in fact central to the whole of Japanese character and existence). So they seem like 'nice girls', sweet and a bit shy, but open to exposing a little of their sexual side to the right guy at the right moment – but they will almost never take the lead, and in dating will rarely even be seen to be an equal partner in desire, at first. That's why Jenny and Cindy needed to be 'coaxed' up for a drink and back to the room. It allows them to maintain the pretense of their 'private illusion' about the kind of girl they are, at least in public.
But Jenny and Cindy certainly weren't thinking of this as some grand romance with a happy ending (beyond our shared happy endings in the bedroom!) as the traveling businessman returns to carry them out of the office like Richard Gere in whatever-movie-that-was.
Indeed, the situation of Jenny and Cindy is not uncommon to many Chinese-Singaporean girls. Caucasians have an allure to them for many reasons, and they like to 'experiment' with the odd gweilo, almost like sowing their own oats before they settle down; but also, a guy like myself will treat them better than most local Chinese-Singaporeans in pretty much every way. She can't have a lot of fun locally without having a local boyfriend, and even then they can't have much intimate time together due to shared living arrangements and low ownership of cars (which means no 'parking'!).

ONE YEAR ON.
So now I'll put a full-stop against this epic (a lengthy tome which makes War & Piece look like a photocopied school newsletter) with the follow-up of where things are at one year after my 'experiment'.
I kept in touch with Anna, Jenny and Grace following this adventure, and on the next two visits enjoyed repeat dinner+dalliance sessions with them both, as well as catching up with Grace just on a straight companionship (non-romance) basis.
Then, as these things sometimes happen, dropped out of contact with Jenny and Grace but happily kept in regular contact with Anna, who is now my resident squeeze any time I'm in Singapore. It's an arrangement that works great for us both, and for her it's not even that I am expected to do expensive dinners etc. We just head out anywhere as a couple, although I like to take her somewhere 'nice' for dinner & drinks at least once per trip so she can dress up and feel a bit special, a bit feminine and sexy.
Earlier this year I looked into DiA again, to line up some fun-time with some fresh faces for an impending Singapore visit. But oddly enough, the 'thrill' had gone out of it! I was able to more readily narrow down a shortlist of candidates and apply the learnings of my first trip to this one.
That in turn helped me easily land two new ones, and ironically at different ends of the scale. One was a cute young Malaysian with not a lot of experience but very keen, and the other was a MILF. Actually a GMILF! Although she was my age (mid-40s) she had her daughter at 18, and her daughter repeated that act, so by the time this lady was 40 she was a grandma! First time I've ever screwed a 'granny' but I preferred to think less about her being a granny and more about her being an experienced woman my age who certainly knew her way around (in fact she used to run an Albany-style 'massage service' in Singapore, with both in-call and sending young ladies to the hotel rooms of visiting businessmen, so we were a good match for our time together). I've done it once for the fun a second time to finesse the approach and make it more efficient and enjoyable (and also to prove the first time wasn't a fluke!) , but I'm pretty happy now with Anna for 'free' f*ckbuddy fun and a trip to OT or Brix if I want a 'change'.
However, with a week-long business trip to KL coming up, I'm now using DiA to find a playmate or two. I'm being very straight-up in my modified profile, telling them what I'm looking for and what they can expect, and I'm being very ruthless in culling the candidates based on their responses so far – because I don't want to repeat the Singapore exercise of dead-end dates and wasted time.
I'll be using email, online chat and for some the odd Skype VOIP call to narrow down to two or three ladies (so I have a 'backup') who are _all_ up for it, who I get along well with to chat over dinner and do a little shared sightseeing, shopping etc, and who know what I am expecting of them, so they're 100% clear on the deal: this is a casual short-term while-I-am-in-KL thing, no pretense of anything more, and they have to embrace the benefits of the situation (no strings for them, nice Western guy, good company and a good time, plus a little shopping or other such to boot).

Brix is a pricy joint, so I would avoid it. And my now-regular girl Anna, who works in the Singapore-based regional office of a large multinational company (ie not a maid) has her residency and is still totally fine to hang out with me.

Over some time I have had mixed experiences when booking FL's via Laksaboy and the respective OKT's. Very recently I tried Love Ivory, and more specifically their FL called "Palmy". This gal is in the best sense of the word a very cute SYT, she is highly service oriented and thus went out of her way to please. It really depends on what you mean by RnR- no beaches or sights, but plenty of reasonably priced SYT's.

Those destinations would fit your requirements (RnR w / SYTs. 4-5 days, ie no time for learning curve, and value for money) , all within a 2. 3+ hr flight.
If you like darker meat, and want less hassles with communication issues, Manila or AC (Tiger, Jetstar, Cebu Pacific have cheap flights to MNL and CRK)
If you like darker meat, and don't mind potential minor communication issues, Jakarta (AirAsia, Jetstar/ValuAir have cheap flights to CGK)
IMO forget Thailand. Yes its un-rivaled for the availability and in-your-face abundance of opportunities, but IMO has gone way too commercialised. For that same reason, forget Bali too. On top of that, places like the rukos and 'girl-houses' arent all that easy to find.

Singapore is a small country 3 night is good not much to do other than Sentosa island, universal studio and the marina sands casino, every thing will cost 3 time more than Pattaya good MTR system take you everywhere and cheap, stay in Geylang area where all the action are and cheap hotel are located, Hotel 81 will cost 60 USD that is the cheapest you will get small but clean no frig.

Thanks!Other more experienceds hands can recommend where to stay etc, as I only go to Sing 2-3 times a year on business.
The only piece of advice that I can give you though is take or have access to lots of money. Singapore has become extremely expensive for drinking and dating etc. Last trip I found mysefl regularly re-visiting ATMS.
Even taxis after 11pm tended to be on the high side. Be prepared. All hotels are girl frikendly wih no issues expected anywhere.

The prices you see are fixed, but when you make a booking, based on season / conferences etc. It can go up 10 times.
Like during the F1 season, even H81 can go up and over 400.
As long as you are not fixated on Orchard, and 5 star, even 3 star and 4 star hotels are great, and beyond belief, except half a dozen hotels like Changi Marriot and such, all hotels are within 15 minutes of orchard, compared to 30 minutes to 40 minutes away at the furthest hotel.
As for hotels, Geylang is a turn off for NON-WLs, the WLs don't care even if you are in the cheapest. Of course, if you stay in Hilton and Marriot, the $ value you are worth goes up, and that means, they will eye a higher price as well.
H81. Is clean, and except those rare days the rooms get rented hourly and the staff are stretched, even the hourly rental rooms look squeeky clean.
Fret not.
If you are going to meet non-WLs, then open up, to hotels in Chinatown (and Chinatown here doesn't evoke the stereotypical image of China town worldwide, crowded, and ramshackle joints, but clean and nice and being next to the CBD / Orchard, it is as good as Orchard / CBD). And also Little India.

There are some Colombians hanging there (or should say "were" in town, back a couple months ago). They start at 400 SGD and might go to 300 or so for ST. You'll need some serious negotiation skills with them. May the force be with you!

Saturday night late went to Brix, some talent but nothing to write home about and pricey. Met a girl from Jak who looked Latin. Turns out to be half East Timorese. Cute and with excellent big BoBos, very good English. Seemed keen and I assume she was Freelancing for extra money since she has a day job.
Stopped by Living Room, some talent but paired off.
Went to OT, Moonlight turns out to be a BMD Flip place. $50 lady drinks. I walk in get mobbed, overall standard of pretty good, sit with Kelly and Casey from Manilla who are nice but who can't leave til 6am. I left without trophy. Sleep option.
Sunday. Late start around MN, Brix pretty dead, residual Colombians, all taken. LR forget it.
Headed to OT. Lots of LB outside nd in corridors. Blue Banana. Can confirm is Flip FL, no LDs and no BMD but full of Flip couples enjoying band. Hotest girl was on stage, tall Flip, worth watching.
In Ipanena, lots of girls, limited men. Sad! I circulated, spoke ti Vinh from Laos who looks a tight little spinner with some pluck, but then lost her. Some shy girls at bar, did not want to talk, others wandered up and were of little interest. Music was good. I was about to leave when I come across Viet who often works Brix. Very pleasant, good English, slim. Strike deal for LT (tough bargaining) : head back to Hotel. Excellent performance, wet and wild and funny. May try her petite friend later. Got number.

I was told by my Singaporean friends to avoid Little India when looking for girls. They say it's unbelievably dirty. Much better to go to Geylang if you're looking for an alternative to OT. ]Your singaporean friends must be real bastards. Trying to pull big wool over your eyes, so they can trot you off to Geylang, and they can feel at home, with the numerous karaoke. And also catch the Kway Tiau. At L9. (as a lot of Singaporeans tried on me when I ask them for 'suggestions'.
For a start, there are no "INDIAN" women in Little India hawking their wares. Little India encompasses Desker Road and on the other Fringe of Little India, Petain Road / Flanders Square. Both Legal Red Light Districts (google 'them.) where the regular, surprise, surprise, are Chinese. And NO Indian girl there. (that goes for you Lobo. Your Singaporeans friends may have an allergy and have never seen what really goes on in Little India, and strereotype, as we do in Singapore.
Indians, when they hawk themselves, are in Lorong 18. At Geylang.
RON: Except Geylang, and Flanders, and Keong Saik, and Desker, all other places are illegal, but that will not hurt you. In OT, when you pick a girl, the cops don't give a hoot. Unless and until you stir the pot. Singapore law says "SOLICITING IS ILLEGAL" not procuring. Or something to that extent.

The Brix crowd had decanted to Ipanema by 2. 30am or so.
There is Salsa on Sundays but it before 10pm I think. I normally snooze or eat at that time based in time zone.
Dress code is not too strict. Jean and Polo are fine, I wore a round neck T shirt which was neat no problem. They weed people out for open shoes, tennis shoes (although running shoes seem Ok if clean and expensive) and anything torn even fashionably torn. Show up in fashionably torn jeans and the cover charge becomes $50. Net singlets and shirts are also out.
The prices are high at the moment IMHO. I find telling them I have special rate on a room at XXX Hotel (can be differnet than where you are staying) and I want a special rate from you provides some amusement. I don't negotiate that hard but include a performance and taxi clause. The other night I got down to $300 LT but included a $50 "make me happy" incentive. They generally do their best to earn it.

Went to Geylang for a look today, found it interesting, ate lunch. Excellent. Decided not to partake, may do another time.
Hit OT around 830pm. Alibaba. Quiet, band playing for happy hour. Several Flips of differing ages at back. Blue Banana some interest from the peanut gallery but none from me. Actually bought some electronic accessories in OT. Took to hotel then returned.

I will be on a 5 hour layover at Changing next Sunday afternoon / evening and I am hoping this gives me enough time for a first sampling of what Singapore has to offer. I would like advice from those who know the scene. Am I better off going to GL and picking from one of the cat150 (or lower) houses or should I think about laksaboy?
For the former, are there particular houses where AR and AJ might be offered?
For Laksaboy appointments should I prime myself for lots of photoshopping? Are the services offered usually accurate? I liked the look of Bina, Fara and Nadia on moonlight and leysee, and claim is AJ avail as extra. No FRs that I could find to verify though. Anyone on here W / experience of these girls or OKTs?
On my way back I have another layover with a bit more time so plan on checking out OT then.

Thanks in advance.I stayed at the Marina Sands recently when the ComAsia conference was on, fantastic hotel but expensive, but get what you pay for. I had no problems taking girls to the rooms for OT etc, never batted an eye. Didn't see many FL in the hotel, was a couple in the bar on the 57 floor by the pool, but pricing was insane. Better to get from outside, the one's I bought back had never stayed there before and loved the place. 1 Viet I picked up from OT loved the pool she came back second night just so we could go to the pool and enjoy together, she had a smoking body and looked fantastic in her little bikini. She didn't ask for money that night! Just like the attention and the place.

Don't leave the airport. 1 hour to clear immigration and reach town / geylang, (which is pretty much the option if you are on short transit) and 1 hour to plus plus to do your thing, and get back, hopefully with a lot of taxis free. 30 mins. And that leaves about very little time, before departure. Unless you are the type who don't fret when they missed the flight.
Better you sample the stuff on your next layover.

No more comments.Many others, and that's includes myself, have posted in the past detailed experiences at Geylang in less than 4 hours. Just search the forum for that.
In short if you don't have luggage to pick up or check in, and already have a boarding pass, you have plenty of time, using the MRT, to enjoy at least one session in Geylang. I actually managed 2 once, in less than 4 hours.
But, of course, you may prefer the safety of spending 5 hours in the airport. How boring!
