Not really a report but I decided to try Tagged and the customer service is terrible! I decided to pay for a VIP account last week and for some reason the account was locked. As I am not local, I was brought there by my local friends. I have to warn that KTV experience is not cheap, Again, did I say that it is very expensive?
Anyway, this is the way how it works. You book a room with a minimum spend required. My friends would usually order towers of beer and / or open up bottles. If I am not mistaken, a tower of beer can cost SGD90 and that is the happy hour price. As you can imagine, the cost of all those drinks and food can pile up real quick. Now as for the girls, it works this way. The Mamasan and Papasan can bring in a bunch of girls at a time for you to select. The girl primary role is to keep you company, be it to talk, sing or dance with you. You are free to have your hands all over them. The girls that I had met thus far were from Vietnam and many of them were pretty hot. Not all girls are willing to go out for a short time, but more often than not, they are willing to do so. You just need to specify upfront to Mamasan if you intend to book any of them out.
Here's the breakdown of the cost for these girls. Again they are NOT cheap.
- To accompany you for your time in KTV = SGD 200.
- Bring girl out for Short Time = SGD 400 (On top of the above cost).

Lesson of the day: things don't always turn out the way you think, and that can work for you as much as against you.

GG.Agree 100%. Unless you want the feeling of having a "top notch" with you check out Brix at Hyatt on any night. Only problem is women there will still want high prices for weekdays. Like he said OT you can find many a diamond in the rough on any night. I'm usually a ST guy, and 200 is my limit there, but usually I get it for 150 + cab fare. LT is done only when I have been with the girl before and want a repeat performance and in that case I go for 300. Brix I have no interest in and at Clarke Quay, they will quote you some high rates, so remember. Its a negotiation.

Primarily I visit the KTVs the most and there is not a lot of accurate information online regarding this, so hopefully it will be useful for many of you.
Message parlours / Spas / Traditional-Chinese-Medicine (TCMs).
There are a few types of these places in Singapore. Some places do not offer special services at all. These places are legitimate joints where you can get great massages at ludicrous prices. Some girls in these legitimate joints may offer you a handjob, but in a very discreet manner and often only after you have visited her a few times and gained her trust. Even then, you have to tip her ($50). There are many penalties for the girl and the joint should they be caught so it is all done in a hush-hush manner. Please don't pay anymore than that (argh) Recently there has been a gamut of raids on these establishments, so be very careful! Not all places offer BJ and FS, some only HJ but these joints typically have better massage.

For Street FLs at Geylang, just visit the even-numbered lorongs: 14,16, 18,20.
Clark Quay: Singaporeans, Caucasians trawl these areas. Likely to get free if you are tall, handsome and well-groomed (no need to be rich, they don't care.).
Orchard Towers:
Basement: There should be a bar with filipino girls called peyton place. You can buy them overpriced lady drinks from 30 all the way to hundreds. Not sure whether they will go out with you though.
Level 1: There some massage parlours here with some PRCs.

If you are Indian and thinking about Geylang, don't worry. Although you are most likely shut out of the PRC Chinese houses (particularly those $150 Category 'A' houses, the most expensive ones), the Thais and Viets and cheaper PRC houses should be accessible.

When an "ang mo" posts on a regular basis, I think it is shocking to the members there.I know this well. I started to post regularly on SBF Batam about 6 years ago. Lots of skeptical or even rather deprecative comments at the beginning after each post of mine. I felt clearly on my skin that people was not welcoming an ang mo posting in a forum where most posters are from Singapore, with a minority from Malaysia or Indonesia.
The typical bule in Batam is a Western man, with propension to alcohol, who patronizes almost exclusively the pubs in Kampung Bule, and tends to overpay well-seasoned bar girls working there (the only ones who can speak English, besides high-educated ladies, who have a good job and generally do not go to bars to meet a rich tourist to make cash). I don't go to Kampung bule, I never get drunk, I tend to avoid the girls who speak English (except those high-class and highly educated rich ladies, who are rare and elusive, if I have the rare chance to meet one), but I understand that there is some reason for prejudices.
The first time I wrote something against the common forum trend (see note *) my reputation points were zapped down severely. I played smart and I started to post regularly useful information, trying to be as much accurate as possible, while also playing the game of rep point exchange. Spend a week or so in Singapore recently with another list member on here, just a observations and points.
We visited all of the usual places of fun, orchard towers, Brix, club famous (which has been mentioned quite a bit of late). Ohh and also spent a night in Batam.
Pretty much all of what has been said of these places is spot on prices, nationality and the like.
Seemed to me mostly young Viet girls at orchard towers, all seemed pretty quiet actually majority of the bars there, still a fun place to visit.
Personally I think don't waste your money and pay over 250 or 300 SGD is more than enough,.
Entry into Brix was 30 SGD from memory with a "complimentary drink" seemed a good range of nationality of ladies there, all tastes catered for, not sure about the prices scary didn't want to ask.
Clark quay is a great place to have a few drinks, bars here not cheap but has a great atmosphere, great place to sit around and watch the passing parade.
Batam was great also, it is a big change from Singapore, cheap and cold beer lots of bars in Nagoya, fantastic food at all hours of the night.
Finally it was the first time I have visited club famous, I didn't even know it existed after I read about on here.
Its a Filipino bar with 6 or 7 girls working, age from late 20,s though to 40 perhaps, the she w.
Seems its a BMD bar similar to those of orchard towers but cheaper, a previous poster mentioned the girls will go home with you after there shift is finished, I was chatting there to a girl whose names escapes me she mentioned she was happy with that arrangement.

It was amazing that some / one of the participants of the unrest several years ago had just arrived on a compassionate visa. If they are / were so unhappy, please go back to their home country where they will most likely be treated worse and also have less opportunities.
You should see the workers from the subcontinent in other work sites around the world. For that matter, also the Chinese workers on some of those sites. Exploitation of workers is not racially unique.
Also, because of economics, many from the subcontinent, even if they are on student visas, resort to scams to stay or support themselves. I have know several Indo girls that fell for them and ended up being scammed. I sometimes make a bad joke and say that at least they were not gang raped. Or maybe losing several months salary is worse.
As for members of the subcontinent, the problem is especially prevalent with the older generation, even after achieving financial success overseas. As for picking up freebies, SG girls are great and open to a good time. With a little investment in time, you can get freebies. Read a few reports on massage parlours.
There are a few different types of massage parlours in Singapore:
The completely clean joints: High end parlours (think ridiculous prices like 100 to 150 per hour for a body massage) with absolutely no hanky panky, some joints even have spa packages for women. The others are run by old experienced masseuse that don't tease at all, just a good hard rub to relieve the stress in your joints.

If your answer is yes to all the following questions, then the KTV scene may be for you!
1) Are you tired of fucking girls that are reluctant and provide bad service?
2) Do you want to spend hours of foreplay with a girl and make the girl want to have sex with you rather than the other way round?
3) Do you like singing or socializing?
4) Do you have a local companion / guide to go with you?
5) Do you drink very little?

2) Playability: AKA how much you play in the room?
-Low Playability: Brightly lit rooms, No kissing, arms over shoulder or waist ONLY, drinking and playing of drinking games only, girls will look down on you and walk out if you get too hands-on.
-Med Playability: Brightly lit rooms, No frenching (unless chemistry is there), can insert your hands in to touch the breast (Generally), can kiss (Generally, depends on girl), hands ALL over thigh.
-HIGH playability: Dim rooms, french, top and bra off, sitting on top of you so you can grind (think lap dance), boob-grabbing, boob-licking, frenching (depends on girl), hands all over body, rub pussy over panties, unzipping of pants, rubbing of penis.

Hey had one to many beers and little bit of whiskey last weekend that got me into some kind of mood to go check OT.

Tomorrow might be very busy day due to CNY but Changi is amazingly efficient. You need to take into consideration that if you have to go between terminals there is some distance as well.
Normally when I go to Thailand I make sure to be there 50 minutes before but that is a bit tight sometimes as well but I am walking slow and not running. Good luck!

You can check the % on time or when the latest flight arrived. The good thing is that they can make up some time on the flight from the states and usually arrive early. However, Murphy does happen. When that happens, I have arrived on time to 3 days later. Furthermore, you might not be able to check all the way through. You can try. The only risk is the Asian leg, which should cost less and you might be able to rebook in worst case. Singapore is easy to get around and you should not have a problem finding a place to stay and rebook.

That's unfortunately not necessarily true. I advise the prospective traveller to be considerate and check the exact transit procedure before booking.
Depending on the combination of airlines, EVEN IF all flights are on the same ticket, it MAY BE POSSIBLE that the traveller has to follow the longest procedure, that is: pass immigration, collect luggage, change terminal (1, 2, or 3), drop the luggage, pass immigration again, go to gate, security, board.
I had to do all those steps, when I had the CDG-SIN flight with Air France and the second leg SIN-KUL with Malaysia Airlines on two separate tickets, BUT ALSO other times when I had both legs on the same ticket. For example. I remember when AF was (still is?) selling the second leg with Jet Airways or some other carrier, and I had to do all the above anyway even if both flights were sold together.
Now, I see AF has a code share agreement with Singapore Airlines. Air France and Singapore Airlines are in two different Terminals.
In short: things may change quickly. Be prepared.

I recently had a brief business trip to Singapore, or should I say, to Singapore's Changi Airport. It was one of those in-and-out visits, no not THAT kind of in-and-out! I decided to ask the receptionist at Blue Wave for any other nearby spa she recommended, and she suggested one just around the corner named Ai Qin Hai Spa (Block 821,01-204 Tampines St 81, ph 6694 8168. Ai Qin Hai was just past an Indian food place and looked very 'normal', no large flashing sign, just a small legit upmarket place with a 'Unisex' sign on the door.
Figuring that either Ms Blue Wave had given me a wrong steer or thought I just wanted an actual massage, or maybe this was a place for a good massage + extras, I thought "Well why not, what have I got to lose?
Price list at the counter was S $50 for 60 minutes, S $75 for 90 minutes and S $98 for two hours, those are pretty good rates so I figured if all I walked out with was a really good massage experience for 60-90 minutes and S $50 or S $75 less in my wallet, that would still be a good way to finish the trip!
Cute Asian pocket rocket of a girl with good English at the counter suggested 90 minutes, choice of Chinese (firm) or Swedish (medium) or a mix of both, and at $75 who was I to argue, especially as I hoped she would be looking after me.
