Arrived early Thursday morning and checked into the Sha Villa (located in Somerset, parallel to Orchard Road and about two blocks away). Room is large, no frills, but a nice queen size bed in a large room, bathroom what you would expect in most hotels. No mini-bar and only 5 channels on the t.v. I just don't think its all so simple as some put it. Unless Crazy Horse has undergone a dramatic change since I was there a year ago, it is primarily a ladyboy's bar. My estimate at the time was about 75 to 80 % ladyboys. I think a lot of guys are in there for one of two reasons.
1) Just to check out the scene, have a drink or two and maybe a laugh or two.

Several years ago there was a place close to the Fullerton Hotel in the business district, by the water that had 100's of ladies. I think it was called the Green???? Its closed now.

So I arrived at OT at 3am on Saturday night. Went in to Ipanema and it was mainly 4 to 6's.

Just to add a few things following Old Asian Hand's report. Being rather new to the game, yhis was the first time I was meeting a forum's member and I feel like I struck gold with OAH. Next to it, ther is a small shoppig arcade connecting to Excelsior hotel.
In this shopping arcade, full of Indian shops, there are 3 floors.
If you go on a week end, there are plenty of kids in week end schools learning religion, music and dance. Quite interesting.
And on the 3rd floor, there is an Indian/Chinese Health Center. From the smile and look I got from the Chinese lady at the entrance, I guesss they offer a nicely ending experience. But I didn't have time to try.

Once in, I was firstly approached by a very pushy thai girl, offering me immediately ST for 200 SD. After 2 min, she walked away.
Then I very sweet and lovely Chinese girl start talking to me. Ohh, she had a nice pair of boobs. Started chatting, she was nice to talk to and ohhh, she had a nice pair of boobs. After 15 to 20 minutes, she started to ask if I liked her and if I thought she was beautiful (which she was, and you know, nice boobs) As I was quite tired, we left Ipanema.
Second mistake: always check what price she asks. She only briefly said something about SD 200 and I didn’t ask for what or how long. Anyway, took a cab back to the hotel. No problem there to enter with a girl.

What happened to you is quite common if you jump right into the action with your zealousness without someone that knows the area. I've been there before as I would imagine most of us have. Best thing to do is to use ISG to identify someone you can monger with if possible that knows the area. The next best thing, as in any business situation is to watch the situation, reject the first few offers, and negotiate up front. Also, alcohol does have a way to lessen our negotiation skills at times. LOL
Chalk it up to the learning curve, I wish I could say I never made that mistake, but hey, stiff dick has no conciense. Good luck in future mongering.

A learning experience and not a huge mistake; she does have a great rack. Thing that really struck me was walking from the Oriental. Dude, that is a long, hot and humid walk. There is a great steakhouse, a bit pricey, but terrific, in the Oriental if you need to rebuild your strength.
Possible I may be in S'pore next week. Will you still be there?

I have been there many times and preferred it when I went by myself.
Where are you staying? The ALBERT COURT in Little India is very nice and relatively inexpensive. It is a short taxi ride to Orchard Towers. A little further to Geylang but I like it because it is not in the thivk of the action.
Hotels in Geylang are extremely cheap.
If any like to girl watch, here is a good place for it. Behind OT, between the two buildings, there is a small eatery on the corner with some outdoor seating. It is right next to the taxi stand where all the girls arrive for work at OT. Early evening is best, get a cheap beer and watch the show.

Furthermore when I was posting the FRs at that particular time, it was kinda very late at night and I was quite tired too. Hehe.
I go to Ipanema at OT alone late one Thursday night with the objective of sourcing a cheap (circa SGD 150), quiet demeanour brown sugar (Malay ethnicity) for the night. Upon entry receive the standard bar staff 'hospitality' so agree to buy a glass of tap Tiger beer, the 'gofer' comes backs with the beer without a receipt and claims SGD 11, I pay SGD 12.
I proceed to chill out and enjoy the live music on the upstairs floor and observe the slim pickings on offer as not a lot of compelling quality and wait for the market to close around 4:00. As mentioned in my previous posts regarding Ipanema, service providers are truly Division 1 players rating around a 6-7 predominately imported from ASEAN countries (Thai, VC, Indonesians). Incidentally the bar staff are still fucking annoying constantly hounding you to buy more drinks. Don't know why they don't adopt the Top Ten business model and charge a cover and so they can fire the fuckers to save on wage costs. Service is one thing but overt pressure to buy is another.
Around 3:30 I make my move and approach a Thai down sitting quietly in a corner. A bit of TCSS ensues and her wing girl comes over to join the conversation. She acts as the liaison between us as I divert my attention to her wingman. I can't remember the girl's name but Thai, 6 in looks and body, supposed new to the scene and only in Sing for a couple of weeks, definitely 'naïve' girl appeal, claims to study proper massage in BKK, starts her bid at SGD 200. I 'um and ah' mentioning not a lot of time left in the night, she immediately drops her rate to SGD 150. Don't believe there's anywhere near your hotel. Definitely, no street action. Ipanema or Naughty Girl are your best bets. 100% female, lots of choice.

If you mean Mandarin Hotel (not manadrin) on Orchard Rd, you can walk, although it's a couple of blocks to OT....turn left when you exit Mandarin, walk several blocks till you see OT across the street...then either jay walk or find crossing.

- this is located @ Marina Square. If you're travelling down Orchard road, you just have to walk till the very end, and somemore. Described by Mongermania below. About 15 minutes by cab (if the traffic is smooth)

I would have recommended Top Ten but it is now closed. I would stick to floor 1 Ipanema which you can't miss when you go in on the right hand side. Also, Naughty Girl which is further back on the right.
I believe that there also some good places on the basement level but don't venture there myself.
Don't go to Crazy Horse unless you're loooking for LB action. The other places I've mentioned are 100% female.
The average going price for LT depends on the time of night. Obviously the later you go the cheaper it gets. If you're looking for LT from 9pm it could be expensive since you're obviously reducing the number of ST's the girl can do.
You will probably be asked for $300 which some girls will stick to but I would walk away from. Go for SGD200 if reasonably early. I usually go for SGD150 + decent performance bonus which could get the girl SGD250 if she really provides GFE, is fully engaged and doesn't time-waste when you're feeling horny again.

Okay - I have thought about this and I am pleased to help you with the following information. Please ignore my earlier post. I don't know what came over me....
The information you need is as follows:
1. Average price is US$400-US$500. (When the girls say "dollars" of course they mean "US dollars".) Always pay up front (makes them relaxed and you'll get better service as a result.) Always give a US$50 minimum tip without being asked. Better still, go to the bathroom and just leave your wallet on the bed and the girl will take the tip herself. Okay - I have thought about this and I am pleased to help you with the following information. Please ignore my earlier post. I don't know what came over me....
The information you need is as follows:
1. Average price is US$400-US$500. (When the girls say "dollars" of course they mean "US dollars".) Always pay up front (makes them relaxed and you'll get better service as a result.) Always give a US$50 minimum tip without being asked. Better still, go to the bathroom and just leave your wallet on the bed and the girl will take the tip herself. They prefer this method - saves them being embarrassed. And also give additional US$50 for taxi.
2. Best place for Filipino girls in OT is CRAZY HORSE. Tere are many girls from one particular village near Cebu who congregate here. These girls are above average height and have lighter skin. Choose a taller one for better service. Better still to choose one with husky voice. (This indicates they are very randy and will give good deep BBBJ.) Best of all are the ones with chokers. We were all newbies once and we had to struggle to find out information by reading the postings on the forum. We should not expect others today to have to struggle to obtain information as we did. How can we expect newbie mongers to wade through all those hundreds of postings when all they have to do is ask us?
We should be honored that they ask us in this way.

PS In Singapore it is considered respectful, courteous and a sign of good breeding to spit on the floor or sidewalk when you meet a person of authority, such as hotel manager, policeman, immigration official. This applies inside buildings as well as outside. The louder and more voluminous the spit, the more respectful. Gosh I wished I had had all this valuable information before going to Singapore last month.
As a result, I didn't go to Crazy Horse and so never found the sexy light-skined tall Thai virgin which I was desperately hoping for. Instead I stupidly stuck with Ipanema and more stupidely underpaid my picks compared to what you recommend. Would that explain why they kept moaning all night ? Or maybe because I also stupidely left my wallet in the hotel safe ?

We do share information and readily give it out when a specific question is raised. However, when it's obvious one hasn't done their homework, wants us to do it for them instead and is generally lazy: I view that as 'disrespectful' of all those who have done their homework, contributed to this forum, etc.
I don't think Peter was acting like an asshole...what he wrote took imagination and drew upon his experience with Singapore. It would have been easier to respond with a "RTFF" but a 'flame' will light the fire under someone's ass.

This is absolutely true story - several times this past week, rather than flaming a newbie on the forum, I sent a PM with some 'advice' and this is how they responded....LOL

Some of the houses (such as along Lorong 18) close only at 4.30 am or pick up some streetwalkers along the even-numbered lorongs.
Or.. for something more exotic, and nearer to the airport, head over to Changi Village, where the ladyboys work. Any taxi-driver would know the location for that.

If I was you I would take an airport taxi to Geylang, cost about 18SGD the action here is going on till around 5:00am lots of short time hotels and many girls .
Just get out on the main street near Lorong 8, walk down Lorong 8 about 25 yards and look to your left there is a narrow street running parallel with the main street, walk along this and you will see many ladies who will give you what you want. Negotiate for a price of 80 SGD which is norm short time.
20mins taxi ride to Geylang, 30 mins to pick, 2hrs with a new friend 2omins back no probs.

Yes, Singapore Marriott is girl friendly. If you are going purely for mongering, I think BKK is better in terms of soapies. But Singapore does have the choice of Orchard Towers, full of Viets, Filipinas, Thais. About 150 -250$ short time (singapore dollars) and then there is Geylang, which is less expensive.

Spent 2 nights in Singapre last week. Stayd in a hotel located not more then a 5 minute walk from OT (and yes, knowing that it was close was an insentive to selecting it). Which proved out to be a wise choice, since i was only interested in ST.
Night 1: Walked into OT at around midnight, already drunk from a party i attended. Didn't look around much. Walked into Ipanema, grabbed the first slim/sexy looking girl who came up to me. She offered ST for 150 s$. I suggested 100 s$. She Agreed!
walked back to my hotel. Got an impressive BBBJ, A-Level and a CIM topping. Tipped her another 20 (for the A) and sent her back to where she came from. Not too bad for a first try. Beginers luck I should say.

Definitely girl friendly. Also when you walk in the main entrance you can veer slightly to the right and avoid the front desk and lobby to get to the elevators. I also saw an available girl at the outside bar during the day. She wasn't obvious but she was working.
Best thing about the Marriott is it's location right on the subway line. Use the subway to and from the airport. You don't need an airport taxi. You can also use the subway to get around town. Bad newsa is that the hotel is very expensive. I thought about using Orchard Parade Hotel next time but I really like using the subway to the airport.

Most of the recent newbie posts are all like the one you quoted. If one takes the time to read the last 1-2 months of postings, the FAQ and ROD where available, they'd get 90% of the information needed.
Great example below from first timer poster, "Taltair" - he did his homework and instead of asking a dumb lazy question, posted a great FR.
Newbies are just plain lazy - if Jackson could figure out a way to delete these queries, we'd all be better off.

Answer: The place on 4th floor of O'Towers is under renovation and will re-open in early Feb.'06 right after CNY, I was told.
The owner bought the place from previous owner, but can not continue to keep the brand-name TOP TEN, unfortunately.
It wil be a hi-class club, as before, with coverf charge and life band, catering for hi-class clients mostly business men.
Where has the old TT gone? Dunno yet, since they are still searching for a place on Boat Quai. Will take some more time, but there is no hurry since there are some expectations towards the new gambling resorts, too.
Be surprised in the future!

To get there.. go straight down Joo Chiat Road, all the way (yes, straight down).Till it bends right to end at a carpark.
Place is on the 2nd storey of the carpark.
Gals are all those you can find at Joo Chiat. Given that the pubs at Joo Chiat closes around 12-1 am, and U-turn closes at 3, the gals move over from the former.
Go early, around 9-10 pm to get a seat, but the gals come in only around 12.

Rebad - just saw your post and not sure if too late to help out. Others have recommended Geylang...which is good option. Note there is wide variety of girls available...anywhere from S$40 to S$150. If you know the ******** forum, go there for details.
If you're into FL, ******** will also have details available. Usual cost is about S$150 for 90 minutes, 2 shots plus massage and extra for ST hotel in Chinatown area. FL usually PRC or Thai. But that requires some pre-arrangement and booking.

ThanksTopTen is indeed gone, the Ipanema is now even more crowded than before. I checked a few other places in OT, looking for new lively ones, but they were all quite dead. Only the country bar opposite from Ipanema was crowded, but the atmosphere there is well different.
Action in Brix is still going on.
Very general observation after a few days in OT; stick to the Thai girls, you will get what you look for; with both Vietnamese and Chinese I had bad experiences (e.g. they would request to be paid on beforehand, you know what that normally means: quick and non-GFE service).

Quick report from a first timer to Orchard Towers.
I was staying in the Swissotel Stamford. Took the MRT since due to the rain the taxi lines were huge. The exit to take is Orchard. Make sure you walk North from there (I walked South at first - duh). OT is on the right hand side.
There were several girls (actually, mostly Ladyboys as far as I could tell) loitering outside the entrance already.
After reading the reports here, I only checked out Ipanema. It was about 11pm on a Thursday night - place was pretty busy and the girls were very obviously working. Amazing that a place like that exists in S'pore! The girls were not too aggressive which I like - most only came over after extended eye contact and smile. Saw all kinds, races, shapes, and sizes - for sure you can find what you need there. I settled on a Thai girl named "Su" with a great spinner body. She had a slight lisp when talking. She asked for 300 ST - I quickly negotiated her down to 200 LT. I was jetlagged and it was almost 12:30am but she didn't want to leave yet - wanted to hang out until 1am. Well, the old 'Top Ten' in O'Towers is closed - and will be closed forever!
The brand name w'Top Ten' as not sold to the new owner, so he will have to come up with a new name, and build up a new reputation.
The construction work for the place shall be finished by March 2006.
No date for an opening has been set yet.
The previous owner kept the name Top Ten, and there are plans to move to Takashimaya and open a 'New Top Ten' on the roof top.

All hotels (3-5 stars) in Singapore are girl friendly as long as you are discreet. Always head to the hotel bar together as if you are going for a drink. Turn around and head to your room. It is very safe city thus no security guards at the door. Good hotels have doorman but they are not there to bother guests.
Have stayed at a number of 4-5 star Singapore hotels. Have not experienced any problems bringing the girls to the hotel. Except one - Traders Hotel at Cuscaden Place (behind the Regent).
The hotel security don't hassle you when you walk in with the girl but when the girl leaves alone after the fun, this is when the problem starts. The hotel security will stop the girl as she is walking out. Will then ask for her passport, take down their details and say he will report to police, tell her parents etc. etc. This freaks the girls out big time !
So my advice is that if staying at Traders, walk the girl out to catch the taxi. This way, the security normally leave them alone.

This is also a good source for those who do not read well enough to trawl through previous field reports.
Nathan is there as is his competitor Julian - his is the first add in the listings and well worth it if money is not your concern. He will come to your hotel meet you and then provide you with some photos to browse and select and then bring the girl back later - this saves on the embarassment of having a troop parading in and out of your hotel as you reject the ones who arent worth it !

The hotel has a court full of bars. The kind of bars you have at Joo Chiat Road but more pricey at S$20 per lady drink and better quality (IMHO).

There is definitely action at OT on a Thursday night. It may even work out better for you then on a weekend night. Better Girl to Boy ratio.
