2. Club Street - in China Town, frequented by yuppies and expatriates, the alley are lined with friendly boutiques, spas, art galleries, fine dinning restaurants, bars and boutique hotels.

3. Mohamed Sultan - The clubs and bars in this areas are frequented mainly by students and young professionals. It is packed to the rafters over the weekends, but theme nights are worth checking out with many places offering free drinks for the ladies.

4. Tanjong Pagar - This place is at the outskirts of Chinatown, you can find gay-friendly clubs, Chinese Tea Houses and Karaoke Bars housed in modernised century-old shophouses. This place are frequented more by the locals as well.

There are some more in the 'rural' places like Changi Village and Holland Village.

Most will tell you the truth, however, I've run across a few Thais that say they are Burmese or something to be different. It is difficult to tell without a trained eye. Even I can be wrong sometimes after nearly 30 years in Asia. Generally speaking, the Thais are darker, especially since most of them are coming from the NE part of their country. The Chinese and Vietnamese are more fair skinned, but the Vietnamese tend to have sharper features than the Chinese. Having said all that, the easiest way is from how they speak English. Each has a very distinctive accent.

My experience is that in general terms:
1. The Chinese women are the greediest and least user friendly.
2. The Thais most friendly and user friendly.
3. Thais easier to bargain with for prices.
4. Most Thais won't weasle out of LT by cutting out early and will play as long as many times as you can get wood. This is not true of the Chinese who will use all kinds of excuses not to perform any acts with you after the first squirt.
5. The Vietnamese seem to have a higher average in the good looks department but that does not mean they are prettier... just less usly ones seem to be running around. They are a little snotty at times so I usually don't bother with them or the Chinese.

Had some days free in Singapore at the end of February. Just got round to posting my report.

First free night I went for the old favourite of Ipanema. Very crowded and lots of FL's of varying quality available. Arrived around midnight at Changi by UAL's Tokyo flight. Made it to the Orchard
Parade hotel and was at OT by 1:30AM. That is still a good hour, most bars post

TOP 10 or whatever their successor will be called is still closed, I sighed as I
passed by the Crazy Horse, remembering that this had been my first stop on my
previous trip to SIN and first time in the Orchard Towers, I had not completely
read the board and almost picked-up a tall "lady" there. After reading the board
more thoroughly, this "almost" apparently saved me from having to ask myself a
lot of embarrassing questions down the road. Compared to a year ago, it seems
the crowd from Top 10 has moved to Ipanema, which was in full action both
nights, while the upstairs Bongo, Naughty Girl and a couple others were fairly
empty.

But this first night I was looking for filipina action. I thought I had read in
the forum about a bar called Lucky Plaza (whereas Lucky Plaza is really a plaza
down Orchard Road not too far from the Marriott as I later found out) and was
looking for it at OT. Of course I could not find a bar by that name and ended up
at Peyton Place, a club on the lower level with a mostly filipina population. I
would say the girls were average, in fact, a really ugly one approached me first
and I turned her down, the next one was say a 6 1/2, but she had a very nice

drinks I offered all night for S$200, she gladly accepted and off we went. As it

Total damage for 1 day, 2 nights, 500 USD not including the hotel, 3 girls and
Okay experiences. Singapore or at least OT, is not cheap for South East Asia, I
think. That goes not just for the girls. I believe someone else asked this
question also, where are the Singaporean girls?

You can start with Shang on top of the hill, above OR and work your way down to Hilton, Grand Hyatt, Mandarin to name a few of the 5 stars, plenty to choose from. Suggest you do a google search or others might have specific suggestion once you give us idea of budget.

There are some difficulties with Paramount. The girls can not or will not leave once they have signed in to the bar for the night for fear of getting fired. Top 10 in the 5th floor of Orchard Towers is still closed! The refurbishing work has been going on, and it looks different inside now.

Instead of the bar and the Pool Billiard, which was on the left hand side when entering, they built a few cubicles - looks like they gonna have KTV.

The large disco hall will remain, but different interior. Also the bar counter has moved.

When I spek to the owner, she didnt want to give me any announcement of the opening.

One thing is for sure. The name 'Top 10' will *not* be re-used. This brand was not included in the purchase, unfortunately.

Probably they call it 'Mad Horse', or what? :-))

With the risk of getting flamed at (come on Traveller1234 - hit me !), I still have a question re Top Ten.

1- The old Top Ten is closed and relocating to another place (at least in my understanding, but please correct me if I am wrong). In one of the posts some time ago a fellow board member quoted an email from the owners of the old Top Ten that they expect the new place to open sometime in April/may 2006, which is more or less around now. Anybody know if this is the case and if so, when and where will it open its' doors and will the "special character" of the new place be the same as the last ?

2- The new club which will open at the old Top Ten location (anybody have a name for the new club ?) is being refurbished and still closed. Anybody know when it will open more or less ?

I will be in SIN middle of May for a couple of days (more a central europe traveller myself) and having visisted Top Ten on and off for the last 10 years I would like to know if either the newly located Top Ten or the newly named old Top Ten will have opened their respective doors.

Singapore mongering is in any case fairly depressive, in this case the invisible hand of Adam Smith is certainly at work in the sense that low prices mean low quality in OT. Geylang I have been only once and would not go back to if somebody paid me. The upside being of course that you can buy a lot of uninspiring mechanical sex for a relatively low amount of money. And if you are jetlagged from travelling from Europe it is a way to spend the night, beats being in bed staring at the ceiling, but only just.

Hi guys

With the risk of getting flamed at (come on Traveller1234 - hit me !), I still have a question re Top Ten.

Singapore mongering is in any case fairly depressive, in this case the invisible hand of Adam Smith is certainly at work in the sense that low prices mean low quality in OT. Geylang I have been only once and would not go back to if somebody paid me. The upside being of course that you can buy a lot of uninspiring mechanical sex for a relatively low amount of money. And if you are jetlagged from travelling from Europe it is a way to spend the night, beats being in bed staring at the ceiling, but only just.

If anybody knows of any serious escort agency in Singapore which can provide european women, I would be forever greatfull.

Was in Singapore earlier this year, & only just getting around to posting a FR. While I have been to Singapore many, many times, this was my first visit in well over 4 years. I had a 4 day stopover, on standby awaiting connecting flights due to the busy CNY, ie 4 days with nothing to do but drink & f**k.

Stayed at the Orchard Rd hotel, as it is a very good standard, but more importantly very convenient to Orchard Towers (right across the road)! Also has a discreet side entrance (kept open until the restaurants close). First night in town I made contact with someone I met last time (Miss K), and was very surprised to hear she was still in town & working. Had a few drinks & a bite to eat at Harry’s to catch up on old times, then back to my room for some serious “catching up”. She has put on a bit of weight since last time, but still has fantastic set of tits. Also, she gets nice & juicy after only a little fingerwork down below. No need for any external lubing.

Got down to the usual bits & pieces in bed, but for my 3rd go round, she was outside on the balcony having a ciggie, wearing only a towel. Went out to say hello, & next thing you know we were naked as the day we were born, going at it like rabbits against the railing. Was a great thrill to be looking out across at the other hotels, hoping others were watching the show. Was always impressive when it came down from the ceiling for a closer look. I also agree that the WG in Top 10 were a cut above the others in OT, as well as the clientele. On nights when the US navy was in town, the other bars became a nightmare, but the Top 10 cover charge kept out the riff-raff, leaving the quality product still available. I remember some fantastic nights there with Thais, Filipinas & even a long term with a blonde Colombian girl. Vale Top Ten!

Anyway, went to Ipanema instead, and had a very weird evening. It was fairly early, with only ~12 people in the whole place, but it quickly filled up. A group of Filipinos arrived at the table next to me, a man & 2 women. I had seen mixed groups of Filipinos in Ipanema before & assumed they must just be there for the dancing/music, as they only seemed interested in keeping to themselves, and rebuffed any approaches from other people. I assumed this group was the same.

As I watched one of the WG strutting her stuff (VERY well built, tight white dress), which involved walking to a gap in the crowd, standing there for 5 minutes preening herself in the mirror, waiting for someone to approach her. If no takers, she moved on 5 metres & tried the same thing again. I was definitely interested, but curious as to why she had no takers, even after a couple of laps around the bar. Too expensive, maybe? Anyway, the man at the next table saw my amused smile, and started talking. He introduced the others as “his wife & her niece”. Had a pleasant conversation with them for quite a while. The niece was young & shy, & also sitting closest to me. Tried engaging her directly in conversation, but she was very timid. I did establish that she was only new in town, arriving the day before. I fleetingly thought about asking her back to my room, but did not want to offend the “family”, and also knew she would be too young & inexperienced for a good night.

I asked the usual conversational questions, but when I followed up “why are you in Singapore – work?” with “what sort of work?” I was expecting an answer like “maid”. However, she responded “to work in bars like this”! I was a little taken aback, even more so when I looked up & saw the “husband & wife” team had now disappeared!

Everything now fell into place, and I was little uncomfortable. Don’t get me wrong, I have frequented bars like this all over the world, so know the score very well, but was not expecting this sort of approach. The “husband & wife” team had introduced their newest recruit into the scene, & once this was completed they left her on her own.

The girl realized she was on her own, then looked at me with pleading eyes, & begged (literally, with shaking hands clasped in front of her) for me to take her to my room. I felt like s**t, but knew if I didn’t take her, some less scrupulous character would. We got back to my room, but once inside, she was literally shivering with fear. I felt terrible, & asked if she wanted to leave, but she said her “auntie” would cause problems if she went home empty handed. So I got her into bed fully clothed, and prepared to spend the night on the couch. However, she asked for me to join her, as she was cold. Figured I would at least get a cuddle out of the evening, so joined her under the covers (both still clothed). She was still shivering, but actually felt quite hot (almost feverish).

To cut a long story short, nothing happened all night apart from sleeping fully clothed in the spoon position with a scared young girl. I gave her the S$100 she needed to pay off mam-san, but also gave her another S$100 & made sure she kept that for herself.

OK, maybe I was taken advantage of, but I reckon I am experienced enough to know the differences. Also, for me it is not just a matter of “wham, bam, thank you ma’am”, f**king a piece of meat with a pulse. I want human beings with conversation & emotions (not fear), & never force them to do anything they don’t want to. Gee, I am a nice guy.

After this night, I felt the dirtiest I have ever been after mongering, and felt very sorry for the girl. I did not see her again the next few nights, so I don’t know what happened to her. However, I did not let it stop me enjoying my last 2 nights in town.

The third night I hooked up with Miss K again, sometimes nice to fall back to a known quantity. Lots of romping ensued, including another episode on the balcony of course. Was a little different this time, as it was earlier in the evening and the pool was still lit up. Saw a worker around the pool look up, and was pretty sure he saw what was happening. I didn’t want him mentioning it to hotel security & getting a knock on the door, so moved back inside to more conventional locations & positions.

On my final night, I was only going to browse around early, as I had a late night flight to catch. I was in Crazy Horse early on, and saw what could only be described as “auditions”. Fat old mama-san sat up front, while each girl took turns to dance for a song before signing a sheet then departing. This went on for about an hour, and was very entertaining to watch. By this time, the bar had started to fill up (lots of tall “ladies” with firm handshakes), and I was approached by 2 very attractive Viets. Wasn’t planning on partaking this evening (no time), but this pair made me reconsider, especially as they quoted a very good price. Quick trip outside on the phone to see if I could delay my flight to the following morning. When this was successful, back inside to Crazy Horse to hook up.

Back to my room for some amazing gymnastics with the pair. One was wearing a slinky black dress with thin shoulder straps. As soon as she walked into the room, she shrugged off the straps & the dress slid to the floor, revealing she was wearing absolutely nothing underneath. I nearly blew my load on the spot! I still get hard thinking about this action 3 months later! The only disappointment with this girl was the tits were fake. Fantastic shape, but a bit too firm to be real. The other girl was much more natural.

Lots of double action happening. I often find with 2 girls, it is hard to get both operating at the same time, as while you are concentrating on one, the other starts watching TV or heads to the bathroom. However, these two were well experienced with teamwork. Difficult to multitask sometimes (“keep pumping girl #1 while fingering girl #2) but managed it! No one has posted anything in a while about the "health clubs" in Singapore.

Anyone have any updates?I am not sure if I am breaking any rules and so I want to give full credit to "Nirvana" in the ******** but here are a list of HC's. Have not tried most of them, but they should be all the same.

As with most HC's in Singapore, I call it Russian Roulette. If you don't know the place, you get the next girl in line. Pretty or not. Mostly is is some lady in her mid 30's. Credible rumors say that the former 'TopTen', a Disco on the 4th floor of Orchard Towers, shall be re-opened by next week.

Opening Party is said to be held on the 5th of May 2006.

Today evening, the main gate was still chain-locked. and the lockers outside were just being erected.

The name sign board was still empty.

Other rumors say the new name shall be something like "Peak Five" = nice refernce to Top-Ten".

Let's see.

Its Official. A totally new club is opening on the former premises of TOP TEN called the Top 5, having been bought over for S$15 Million Dollars by a new owner and extensively renovated is slated to open on 5 May 2006.

Some of the Attractions there include -

1. A Giant LED Screen

2.A Dry Ice Sunken Ice Pit

3.A Lighted Stage Platform

4.An Elevated Dance Stage Balcony

5.A Number Of Dance Podiums

There will also be a good mix of dance shows such as pole, salsa, hip-hop and even ballet in the future. Membership Packages are said to start from S$488 for the ladies card to S$2000 for the platinum card.

Meanwhile, TOP TEN , which closed last year is slated to re-open this year at another location according to the general manager and owner of TOP TEN, Peter Bader.

A long time ago - maybe two years? - I posted about my experiences in Singapore and said about a taxi driver called Ping that I used to get good girls delivered to hotels. For several years I had used him and he aways deliver me good meat, usually Thai but also Sing, Pipa, Malay and Indo sometimes.

Many mongers PM ask for contact details for this man but he retired as taxi driver over one year ago so please do not PM any more for contact details. His HP no longer works.

Recommend do what I do and go to OT for best selection.

Today in the afternoon I went for a massage to the ex Nice Health Center in the top floor of the Far East Plaza.
Place is not called Nice any more , does not have a name.

Well Top Ten is now Top 5, the place has reopen since a week.
I went there last night but it was almost empty. Entrance fee is 16 Sing which allow you to one drink.

You might try the KTVs. There are many of them, and they range in service from the type you take your family to, to those that are raunchy. I've been to a few, mostly with clients. The Story

Have been to Singapore a few times in the last few months but then too busy to report anything. Now for an update.

Ipanema in Orchard Tower still seems to be the place to go in terms of quantity of girls. Generally not pushy and they swirl around the bar like. Well, like something that swirls. Arriving at 1:00AM in Singapore is no problem. I do it all the time. Head over to OT, some of the bars will be open to at least 3:00AM, I like Ipanema on the 2nd floor for selection. They also have a good house band there. I think Naughty Girls bar is open till 5.

300 Sing is too much to pay for overnight. Especially true when later in the evening. The price goes down the later it gets so bargain. Having frequented the OT bars for the past few years, I felt it necessary to share my comments about Top 5, the new nightclub on floor 4 that replaced Top 10. Well, this new club needs to change its operation quickly, or it will never realize it's real potential. I don't know for certain it's loosing money, but at 12 midnight the club should have more than 10-15 patrons. MANGEMENT - WAKE UP!

What are the issues?
- Very few freelancers enter the bar anymore. That in turn reduces the number of guys who come out for a good time.
- Constant pushing of shots - tequila, blow jobs, etc. The girls won't take no, even when I became rather insistent. And they come every couple of minutes. In 20 minutes, drinking one beer, I had at least 6 attempts. As soon as their tray was empty, they were at the bar to replenish supplies and harrass customers. I looked around and saw others obviously uncomfortable by the pushing. If you're going to sell them, teach the ladies how to make it fun and not to push.
- When my beer was at about 40% full, the servers started coming asking if I wanted another beer. Polite, but I had 3 or 4 people come up and ask me.
- Drink prices - $15 for a small beer, $20 for a pint?! Ok, you got one sale, but you need volume. Take the prices down.
- Cover charge - look at the other bars in OT. It's a big deterrant. The show isn't worth paying a cover.
- Hired dancers - there were 5 or 6 groups of guys - pairs or individuals that I saw. If one of the dancers wasn't already at a table with a drink, hell would've frozen over before a new customer was approached. Is that the model for success?

Take a look at the other bars in OT and consider why they are successful. They take a simple approach and take care of customers.
1. Have the servers walk around and let customers ask. Most will.
2. Focus on making sure customers have a good time and not on maximizing liquor and beer sales. We will buy if we're having a good time. Less hustling customers and more hustle.
3. Reduce the prices to get volume moving. 3 drinks at $13 is better than 1 drink at $18.
4. Circulate the dancers more. Sometimes they may be making a deal - and that's fine, but they were more intent on chatting with themselves than with customers.
5. Find a way to get Freelancers in the door and stay for more than 10 minutes. Queens has the same problem and uses a similar operating model as Top 5. I think I read they were owned by the same group.
6. The location is a drawback compared to Ipanema. Figure out how to increase traffic. Crazy Horse used to have ladies in good numbers and it would compliment Top 10. Now - there's only 1 reason for guys looking for ladies to go to the 4th floor.

Went a couple of times to one of the MP's on Circular Road (right behind Boat Quay). I cannot name it, but the name of this MP has "Siam" in it. Just finished an escort agency girl a couple of hours ago. Called the agency I usually call (person who answers the phone is Sunita), gave my choice and she was here at the hotel in 30 mins.

A Chinese malay by the name of Mish.... or something like that.. claimed to be 22. Stayed for 90 mins. .. 2 shots.. very good on the CBJ aspect.... not much of a GFE experience... One good thing was she switched off the phone immediately after checking in with the agency.

My experience of the Joo Chiat bars is is that they are very busy and you need to take a table to get a drink and that makes it hard to move around and scout the field.

The girls were quite aggressive with high expectations of tips in the bar and take-out with extras.

I have only been there with locals which is always a bit restrictive.

You might do better on your own but I think you will do better at OT.

Even at OT I have noticed that the new girls are more organised with an expectation of prices etc. It seems to me that the 'agents' (pimps) are schooling the newbies better which means that you are more likely to get phone games (my girlfriend is ??? insert your own words???) and less likely to get an unrushed GFE.

I agree with Sudsoz on Joo Chiat. I am not sure if you can speak Chinese but most of the girls in Joo Chiat only speak Chinese and so if you are an English speaker than it will be tough. The way it works in Joo Chiat is differant than OT. The girls makes the round and sits with you for 10 or 20 minutes than than go to another table. They make money by earning tips. They will only go with you when the bar closes. It is an interesting experiance but I do recommend going with a local on your first trip.

As for Viet Girls at OT. There seems to be more and more. So if you RTFF, you will see that the Veit Girls are all about money and not very GFE. They want money up front and are gone right afterwards. The viet girls in OT tends to be very "spicy" and wear outfits that are more skimpy, but if GFE is important, I would recomend Thai's, this is from personal experiance, also told from friends and from the forum.

They also have to register with the police before August 26 as required by recent rule changes for exempted massage establishments.

Cubicles or partitions that allow the massage services to be carried out in private are not allowed, and only Singaporeans, Singapore permanent residents or Malaysians with valid work permits can be employed.

The police say they will continue enforcement checks and promise tough enforcement action against errant operators

I was sight seeing in Little India last Sunday afternoon and decided to check out the (in)famous Desker Road. There were nothing on that street at all. All the houses were in a small unamed alley between Desker and Rowell which ran parallel to Desker.

Most of the women there were way, way past their prime. Most seemed to be chinese with some Indians and Malays. They just sat inside their houses waiting for customers without making any attempts to encourage the passerbys who are all Indians. The oddest thing was all the street vendors selling sex toys which I have not seen any thing like that in Geyland. There seemed to be the suggestion that you could buy the sex toys and used them on the women rather than using your own tool. Pretty gross and pretty sad. I did not actually made any contacts so I was not sure what was the deal.

This murder was a couple of weeks ago at a very local massage place upcountry near the Woodlands area.

I have been to several massage places since then with no problems.

However last Friday (30 June) afternoon several of the massage places in People's Park Centre were closed with no information. But some of the others were still operating.

I do not know how girl friendly are hotels in Singapore.

In any case, I stayed in Le Meridien on Orchard road. That is actually pretty convenient. From Orchard road, you take an elevator up to the lobby on the third floor and immediatly across that elevator are the elevators to the rooms on the upper floors. Basically, you do not need to parade your girl in front of the world ... unless you really want to.

BTW: The hotel room is quite nice and big if you pay for the category just above basic. (S$200 vs S$160 for weekend rate). Also, there seems to be potentially working girls in the mall on the street level. Not sure what that is about.

Raids are only done to confirm illegal workers. For Geylang area, since this is an official Red Light District so cant really close these places down but can only arrest all those without proper papers. Its still safe to go to this areas MPs.

As you may know that 80% of the Chinese Pros in Geylang are Illegal workers, the Vice Squat will only go out to "bring in these illegal ones" Beside these, There are some Phillippino Maids, Chinese Factory workers, Thai workers that hold legal work permit but are working in Geylang for extra money. The poilce will not act so much unless there are official complains from people living in that area or "customers" or if there are fights or any other king of trouble.

Of course murders is one of those in which will trigger an massive alerts in these sort of area for police in serach of suspects. In saying so, if you happens to look like the suspect than you have all to fear, but if you are just another ordinary monger, the police will not even bother to take a second look at you.

An amusing night out and a lesson in economics learnt all at the same time.

Bored with waiting for the Semi-Final I ventured into the fray in OT at Ipanema. Much to my amusement the first person I meet is an old friend from Bangkok - if you search my previous reports - you will see her photo on there somewhere !! So here was the first challenge how to ride the tackle and take out without being noticed - so as to keep her in reserve in case all went wrong !

A sweet Vietnamese - I felt the need to change my alphabet as have already had Malay and Chinese this week and to amuse myself wanted different letters of the alphabet. Well all proceeded well and off we went back to Orchard Parade Hotel - very nicely located and no issues on security when we walked through the lobby - its location opposite OT makes it a wonderful location and the rates around SG180 per night are also reasonable !!

So off we go and proceed through the usual repetoire - which I wont bore you all with - she was well stacked and unlike many VC had not resorted to surgery to achieve this. But in the post coital relaxation she announced she wanted to go as she was not sleepy - so we negotiated for her to hand back 100SGD as a far deal and off she went.

Now normally matters would have ended there but for the 3am kickoff and now being wide awake. So back to OT for the next round and this is where disaster struck !! Viewed a few Colombians and some Russians but my eyes were taken with a stunning Thai with a nice tattoo of the moon on the left breast. I should have heard the warning signs in my head but didnt choose to listen and including her high price for the night felt what the heck she was good looking and cash flush - now before you all spit what a fool at the SGD500 - price is in the eye of the beholder and with a refund of SGD 100 from the first encounter this seemed like fun.

Back to the room - and no questions asked or eyebrows raised in reception as we waltzed back into the room. Only some admiring glances from my fellows in the lift.

Once our friend Taen had opened all up - this was truly a wonderous sight - it looked as though it would be a fun night - especially when she said if you want to CIM go ahead I love that !! With the game just started we proceeded to go around the clock - then came the kicker when in a moment of post penalty fun I nodded off to sleep.

Having agreed long time this was a reasonable move and have never experienced what came next. Woken by the sound of the door I realised our young friend had disappeared into the night leaving me only with the second half of the match to play with and cursing falling asleep on the job !

My only consolation - and yours also - is that she is headed back to Thailand today - so none of you can report similiar misfortune for at least two-three weeks !!

Before you reach for the keyboards and write what a fool - think twice - it is one who laughs at his own stupidity or rather lack of forethought and shares it with you all. This means laugh and say "thank god it wasnt me" !! Or share similar tales of woe !!

Mind you my overriding memory is the beauty of her face giving a BBBJ so perhaps all was not that bad after all !

A prelude to the story below was that had thought that instead of going to OT would use my old agencies. As I have recommended both Julian and Nathan in the past it only seemed fair to check on their status.

Julian arrived late but as amusing as ever to inform me his modus operandi has changed. Due to some locals using his services and then poring through the photos and then saying they knew the girl in question he is no longer using the photos and has gone back to the old selection routine. In addition he takes the entire sum upfront before the entertainment - last time SGD300 was his fee and the rest was your negotiation. Now it is a flat fee of SDG1000 so be warned this is not for the faint hearted.

On the basis of well if the price is SGD1000 then they should be good I allowed him to make a selection. The first C was a stick and not of dynamite - tall and skinny and with a pinched face and certainly not worth the sum requested.

The second S had much better PR and at least knew how to flaunt a lovely black dress. However the catch came when asking her to sit next to me for a chat. Their previous mo was to walk in the room and then go to the toilet so that Julian could then promote their services. This is a good means of ensuring that any blemishes are not noticeable !!

In fact on closer inspection - there is caveat emptor even in this business - the complexion was not what you would expect and the PR was not as genuine upon a short discussion.

From here it was a nice stroll down Orchard to Nathan and a long chat with Mrs Nathan about her recently departed poodle ! yes one has to reciprocate PR on certain occassions. A view through their album showed that the assessment of some of "Julian's" customers that Nathan was now running a Maid Agency was actually not too short of the truth. Quality was low and the pictures really need a decent photographer to take them to show the girls in their finer light. If not you would not bother to call them down for a viewing - which in my case was what happened.

And for what happened next you will have to move down the page to the OT and the Midnight Run !! A mixed result and a late goal from the Italians in this case read Thai led to a midnight burgalry of the situation !

At Brix, your mileage may vary and need oil...
Goes from 200 if you're lucky (and late in the morning) to 1,000 (offered several times) with some European Girls. You need negotiation skills and an empty bar (avoid Thursday, Friday and Saturday in this case...).
As for other places of this kind, I guess the best is in fact to ask the girls themselves. Who better than them would know where to hunt guys like us...

Note as well that there is an interesting bar and also an interesting club within the Marriott. Worth trying.
Also, I recommend the late drink (between 9h30 and 11h00 p.m.) at the Marriott terrasse on crossroad Scott and Orchad. Not only you will easily be approached by interesting (and some less interesting) pros (for this, stategically position yourself on the tables on the road side...or at the bar) but you may also score (I did twice) with cute freebies.

I'm planning on arriving just past midnight on a weekday night, so by the time I get to the hotel and visit OT it will probably be close to 2.30 or 3.00 ( right ?) I'm being told at 3.00 AM you can still find qualtiy P**sy but then I have also read after midnight there's slim pick'ns. So could some one straighten this out for me? Having frequented the OT bars for the past few years, I felt it necessary to share my comments about Top 5, the new nightclub on floor 4 that replaced Top 10. Well, this new club needs to change its operation quickly, or it will never realize it's real potential. I don't know for certain it's loosing money, but at 12 midnight the club should have more than 10-15 patrons. MANGEMENT - WAKE UP!

What are the issues?

- Very few freelancers enter the bar anymore. That in turn reduces the number of guys who come out for a good time.
- Constant pushing of shots - tequila, blow jobs, etc. The girls won't take no, even when I became rather insistent. And they come every couple of minutes. In 20 minutes, drinking one beer, I had at least 6 attempts. As soon as their tray was empty, they were at the bar to replenish supplies and harrass customers. I looked around and saw others obviously uncomfortable by the pushing. If you're going to sell them, teach the ladies how to make it fun and not to push.
- When my beer was at about 40% full, the servers started coming asking if I wanted another beer. Polite, but I had 3 or 4 people come up and ask me.
- Drink prices - $15 for a small beer, $20 for a pint?! Ok, you got one sale, but you need volume. Take the prices down.
- Cover charge - look at the other bars in OT. It's a big deterrant. The show isn't worth paying a cover.
- Hired dancers - there were 5 or 6 groups of guys - pairs or individuals that I saw. If one of the dancers wasn't already at a table with a drink, hell would've frozen over before a new customer was approached. Is that the model for success?

Take a look at the other bars in OT and consider why they are successful. They take a simple approach and take care of customers.
1. Have the servers walk around and let customers ask. Most will.
2. Focus on making sure customers have a good time and not on maximizing liquor and beer sales. We will buy if we're having a good time. Less hustling customers and more hustle.
3. Reduce the prices to get volume moving. 3 drinks at $13 is better than 1 drink at $18.
4. Circulate the dancers more. Sometimes they may be making a deal - and that's fine, but they were more intent on chatting with themselves than with customers.
5. Find a way to get Freelancers in the door and stay for more than 10 minutes. Queens has the same problem and uses a similar operating model as Top 5. I think I read they were owned by the same group.
6. The location is a drawback compared to Ipanema. Figure out how to increase traffic. Crazy Horse used to have ladies in good numbers and it would compliment Top 10. Now - there's only 1 reason for guys looking for ladies to go to the 4th floor.I just moved back to Singapore and went to Top 5. What a disaster?

When I lived in Singapore before, Top 10 was my regular spot. We went out to lots of other bars, but almost always finished the night in Top 10. I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars, just like many of my expat friends. Top 10 had it's ups and downs, but the place was just so reliable for a good time.

Now, I don't know what happend to make the place close, but the owners of Top 5 should have stuck to the old formula. They clearly spent a ton of money on the place and they're gonna fall on thier face with the current business model.

If there are any investors out there, I think you should wait for the place to go under and take it over using the suggestions above.

And, most importantantly, bring back the old staff, they were great. Does anyone know what happend to Coco and Chu?

I agree with Sudsoz on Joo Chiat. I am not sure if you can speak Chinese but most of the girls in Joo Chiat only speak Chinese and so if you are an English speaker than it will be tough. Doubt she got offended by you using the safe. In my experience OT Viets always ask payment up front. Some positive Viet reports on here and would be nice to try one, but I've never got as far as taking one back. Up front money is alwasys a barrier. One night one cute Viet was keen and think personally she'd no problem trusting me to pay, but she stuck to her training.

I hear all the OT types get 1-month stay, but the Singapore Immigration web site says residents of most countries are eligible for 90-day social visit stays. So whats the deal?

Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Having just been through a month-long visit there with my filipina wife, I did notice that I got a 90 day visa on entry while her's was limited to 30 days. I assume this means that people from other ASEAN countries are limited to the 30 days on entry but that those from the US, Europe, Japan, etc. get longer visas. Given the hundreds (or maybe thousands) of Malays flocking into Singapore every day, I guess this represents an attempt on the part of the Immigration authorities to ensure that they do not put a strain on the country's economy.

GEYou will find 30 is about the average for most ASEAN Pasports, My wife has been stamped longer in SIN a few times but I think it is just careless immigration. USA gets the 90 average in most countries. It is all part of the agrements between countries. Happy travels

In my time, I have learned the hard way. Many whom I have paid upfront have been good but there have been those that "ran" off before the time was up. Some even sneaked off while I dozed off.
So here is what i do.....if she insist that she wants money upfront, I say OK but conditional. I will take here dress and lock it up (you can do it without her knowing - while she is in the bath or it is an upfront agreement.

My experience tells me that most of the time those that ask for money upfront are poor performers and not relaxed enough to perform well.

I told myself never to never let them get away without a fair bargain....keeping her clothes eg her blouse is fair!!!!

For most of the girls from Thialand, Vietnam, China and Indonesia, they will get only a 1 month visa for their first or second visit. After that, they will only get 2 weeks.

The only nationalities that get 90 days are American's, Japanese, Austrailian's and Western European's.

If you come into Singapore togather with your girl friend, than there is a very good chance for her to get 30 days.

On the second night, I ended up paying SG200 for LT from one SP. It was one of the the most beautiful nights of my life. This is highest I would pay in SG.

I have paid between S$100 and S$200 for LT at Ipanema. I regret only one time not springing the S$300 for a hot Korean I met in Ipanema in April.

I have been to OT 4 separate times in the past year. There is a regular rotation of SP however it seems most are the same. They come and go but they always return.

In fact on this last trip, the Mongolian approached me again (I guess she forgot me), and gave me her lines. I asked her how long when did she come to SG. She said, "only yesterday and it is my first time here". It's been awhile since we mongered together in Shenzhen. I remember you as a tough negotiater not willing to pay more than 100 RMB ST in the BBS in those days. Some of the best talent told you to take a walk, but there were always some willing to take the 100 RMB from you.

I can nearly always get most of the Asian talent (Thai, Viet, Filipina, Indonesian, China) for S$100 ST, except a few of the real stunners that are stuck on themselves. The service is nearly always a disappointment with the real lookers anyway.

For the Caucasians (Russian, E. Europe, Latin), I've managed S$100 ST a couple of times when it was late, but usually have to pay S$ 150 ST. Some of the best ones would not go for less than S$200 ST regardless before midnight.

I do not usually do LT, but the price goes down as the night; or morning, wears on.

The critical issue in such negotiations is how ignorant, or knowledgeable, you are about the actual market prices, where is the line beyond which these girls will either not go period, or just go, but then to the detriment of the service rendered.

Don't think about it too much though...I think of it this way: it's either within my budget and I want to have a good time or it's not and I forget about it. Forcing the issue is never, ever, a good idea (at least from my own experience) as you ultimately always get only what you pay for, hence we're back to the beginning, yada yada yada...

I know I drive a hard bargain and I impose strict limits on myself. I only take what I am willing to spend plus about S$50 more, so usually if I am in OT, it will be around S$300. I have to keep within a budget or their will be hell to pay at home.

I usually leave my ALL my rings and wallet and glasses etc in the safe at the hotel. Who knows what will happen during the night? How could I explain to the significant other if my rings were stolen? Don't be flash when you go out to play.

I feel I get good value and do not dredge the bottom feeders. I am comfortable with my choices and definitely satisfied with the results. I do not have any regrets or disappointments from the OT girls with whom I have invested. I have had disappointments in Geylang and occasionally in China too.

I know there is some sort of VN Union (cartel?) and they try to set unreasonable prices. If you are clean, reasonable, friendly and treat them well you can get almost ANYONE in OT for S$200 for the night.

I know there are some who have more means and will pay S$400 or more for ST. This is their business but I feel it is crazy. Each market has its price level. I am happy to treat my girl well and do my best to make her happy and comfortable. It is always my goal to make my girl very happy. If I can make her happy, I am sure to be happy too. This is not just monetary in my opinion. This method will get you better value any day.

I have many female friends in OT. I think that almost any of them would be happy to be with me again.

The girls in OT learn the customers very quickly. They are professionals after all. They know which ones are good and which ones are only wasting their time and which ones are outright dangerous to them.

If you have been to OT more than once, you will have a reputation in the place and most of the girls (especially those in their particular clique/language/region) will know about you. All the girls know who you are and what you are able to do for them. Don't forget this. Customers have reputations too. (I wonder if the VN union has their own website of good customers similar to the ISG website of good providers?)

I really like OT, much better than China, I can have friends and actually have meaningful conversations with these people. My Chinese is still not very good.

if you are OT, you can get cheeeeper girls, stick to Thai ladies and VN girls who speak poor english. (The S$100 VN girl spoke english but just barely. Her name was Bich. She was very patient and tried very hard to please me.) I think the Flippers are less expensive too. I've even met some Cambodian girls but was not impressed with the selection - a little too stocky for my taste.

My experience also. In fact, the network there is surprising. I still get word of girls i have been with (repeat performance girls, and girls that i have contacted in both Thailand and Singapore), as to how they are doing, how their marriage (to another falang customer) is going, and how their weight is??!!, from other girls that know we had a good connection.

I have had occasion when i saw a new gem come into OT and knowing instantly that i wanted to see her, got the word to her through other female friends in OT. Their recommendation made it happen without any of the game playing, and potential mis-judgement on her part.

I have no doubt that the network seriously does impact on price, through word of mouth about who is generous, rough, cheap, smelly, etc. etc.
