I have done the JB trip often in a private car for golfing and no problems at immigration except the passport stamps will take up a lot of space.

Never done it by taxi but imagine it would get expensive from the Orchard Road area.

Why not ask the JB boys at the JB Malaysia thread to recommend some hotels and visit Singapore occasionally for a little variety?

So I was back in Singapore for 3 days and of course I stopped by Ipanema to check the scene. I went to Dragon Health Spa, on November 23, 2006, together with some friends (local Singaporean and foreigners).

I was there on business trip for 3 days, here is the summary of my busy pussy hunting activity during the nights:

Taking the train is not a bad idea as its a 1st class train. Its cheap enough and I would suggest taking the overnite train---you wont see shit as its dark out but will save you a nite at a hotel. So this will pay for the train ticket itself. Train leaves Sgn in the late evening and arrives KL early the next morning. Best to get the 1st class semi-private cabin with sleeper beds, have its own private bathrooms etc. If u are alone, they will pair you up with another person --of same gender. Non private sleeper beds also not a bad idea as its about 1/2 the price of a 1st class cabin. I've done this several times in the past and its great for several reasons. Mostly will leave u in central downtown KL in the morning so no hassle with getting in from the airport which is Way, Way out of the city--sometimes 1.5hr in a taxi with heavy traffic. Also sleeping overnite on train will leave you well rested for the 1st day arrival in KL.
Just make sure you purchase tickets in advance as most private cabins are fully booked early. Go to the main train station in downtown Sgn and buy ticket there. Cost of (cheap airline) airfare+fees and taxes and train ticket (1st class cabin) are similar. Hope this helps.

After 4 days immersed in the fkk clubs of frankfurt, I am pretty tired. Fly to singapore, 11 hours.

Orchard towers.

Surprise, it looks like any other low rent 4 story mall in asia, filled with shops for electronics, clothes, tatoos, etc. On each floor from basement to 4 are several bars. I only entered a few of them.

Bongo bar, 4 dancers, a few customers, bad dj, dull.

Philipinas bar as you enter basement. As a bar, this was the most fun, good live band at eleven pm, cute non-pro or semi-pro filipiinas (at least no one hit me up to take them home). Fun girls, good english, drinks about s10. Big crowd.

I decide to check out Ipanema after an extended hiatus and notice a few differences.

Players

Traditionally Ipanema is stocked with Division 1 players or a rung below Top Ten in terms of looks and fees however it looks like the Premier League players (ex-Top Ten) who moved to Ipanema due to Top Ten renovations have not moved back to the top flight.

Hence like Neanderthal man and Homosapiens, it seems Homosapiens (ex-Top Ten) have mustered out or killed off the Neanderthal (Indonesians and cheaper Thais).

There are no Division 1 players (Indonesians and cheaper Thais) left in Ipanema. It is now stocked with high priced Thais, VC (Vietnamese) and mainland Chinese.

Prices

Now the standard opening gambit offered by Ipanema players for LT Long Time is SGD 250, previously Indos and low cost Thais would transact around SGD 100-150 which is unfortunate as price is not related to quality of service.

Tips

Thai Restaurant - Beware the Thai restaurant beside Ipanema as they charge 'foreigner' rates. Better to take your prize to Geylang or to local foodcourts.

Conclusion

Prior to visiting Ipanema I spent my rounds at Geylang so did not hire an Ipanema consultant however notice it's difficult to deal with Ipanema players when operating alone.

The players tend to operate in packs so want to look after their team members. The best time to do business with Ipanema consultants when punting alone is closing time when they are desperate to get something for their effort.

I had a look at the Indonesian thread and there is no section for Bintan. I wonder why not?

Very simple reason: The resort district in Bintan is locked off from the rest of the island. Essentially only local resort staff and guests have access to that area.
I never heard of anybody getting P4P there.

What I do know as a fact is that guys take there girlfriends there while leaving their spouses at home. I know a good dozen personally. I went to Dragon Health Spa, on November 23, 2006, together with some friends (local Singaporean and foreigners).

After a relatively short steam bath, we disappeared into separate rooms. I was told that the Dragon Health Spa has always quite beautiful girls.

went to the bar in OT at the top of the escalator, immediately on the right (cannot recall the name).

Was at OT on Friday and Saturday. Most of the clubs on Friday were quite busy, Crazy Horse having some lookers amongst the lady boys. If you can't tell the difference I suggest you steer clear, but us pros should have little trouble picking the adams apples.

Took a nice Malaysian girl for $200 LT with little argument on the price. Just tell them you know the rate, start at $150 LT and "give-in" to the $200 rate.

Visiting Singapore last week I had time to head back to my old hunting grounds: Orchard tower. And I was not impressed.

First I was surprised about the huge numbers of LBs on all floors of Orchard tower. I left there at around 1 am in the morning, walking down the staircase from the 4th floor to the exit, and I saw lots of them – I did not count. But years ago this was different.

Top 5: I entered there, had to buy a drink first – and found the old atmosphere of Top Ten completely destroyed. Some customers were there as well as some girls – but what girls quality. That was different years ago…

Tables and chairs on all levels, and the dance tables for the girls – and those girls dancing there were really not what I would like to see dancing. The music extremely loud, the boosted basses really hit me physically – what was that, a kind if house they played there. May be it’s me – I get old.

I've usually had good luck in Peyton (the mostly Pinay place in OT basement) - despite the pimps it's still a buyers market, especially late. For those unfamiliar with the place, mall pick-ups can happen in Singapore, but it's nowhere near as sure a thing as in some Asian cities. Nevertheless, the wise monger (not usually me) should be prepared to take advantage.

first of all, please pardon me for the delay in posting this report, its more than a few months old experience... but hey... reliving that experience in words is always refreshing!

so here i was on my way to the us through the sing-city... arranged an overnite stopover there so that i could sample some fresh meat...

I agree, the Pinays are certainly good for their stories and drama!

However I've always found Peyton Place a reliable option. Doing some mental arithmetic, 7 girls (over a couple of years) and not a single dud. Most girls I found to be straightforward, even recommending friends, or girls they knew weren't getting a lot of business when they themselves were 'indisposed'. My best experience, who did need a little 'warming up' was one of these.

My standard offer, which has always been accepted, is S$150 LT plus tip for good service. Typically I've paid S$200- S$250 with subsequent days (if any) at around S$200-S$250. Most girls will be very happy at this level and should reward appropriately. In addition to good sex, more than once I've had clothes washed and ironed and small errands run.

Do not pay anything upfront in the bar. There are no 'barfines'. If you're new to Singapore that's not how things work at Peyton and at any place in OT worth visiting for more than 5 minutes. I've never been asked for money upfront at Peyton, but check Sudsoz post below.

The 'pimps' in Peyton are there mostly to keep an eye on their girls and sometimes offer advice to the inexperienced when negotiating. They don't directly pimp the girls out. The girls are responsible for repayment of their 'advance', and keep the rest of their earnings over their visa period. A night without making the 'ante' (about S$100) is a problem.

The bars in Lucky Plaza are a bit more hit and miss. Regular bars, with mostly Filipino customers. Unlike OT not all girls are working, many with Filipino bf. Most people that make this transition either to Viet or Thailand are most often ready to retire and single (no family/kids). That way its no bother to just pack and leave for a try elsewhere. If failed, then no problem resuming regular life back home. As most foreigners with teaching jobs dont make too much money, many still rely on their retirement pensions to get by with the lifestyle they are use to at home.

Or, like me when I was younger, there are those that may try something different when they 1st graduated from school and seek some cultural adventure. But this only last a short time as a young man I needed to get back to the real world.( I was able to do this for about 8-9 months fresh out of school and no commitments with girlfriends or permanent jobs)

Thanks for your help on this everyone. I might try a brief recon through Geylang during the day as the last time I was there was at night which of course precludes adequate visual confirmation. Last time I was there had a malaysian chinese who complained too much and tried to upsell me a BJ in the ST hotel so I thought might hit some of the bars in OT. After that experience I came to the conclusion that its better to spend a bit more on a quality experience than go for the cheaper price. If thats what one is after one may as well go to shenzhen on tigerair and have 3 for the same price (which I've tried). Now thats a weekend to remember. Anyway enough musing, I'll post a FR on the high end of Singapore afterwards.

Quite right, I'd had a few beers when I wrote that and wasn't thinking straight!

Really I never bothered with Indians in Singapore, just a couple of Sri Lankan SW in Geylang. The Indians hanging round OT are generally awful, but there was one nice looking, light skinned Indian girl who for a while used to spend her evenings sat on Orchard between Far East Shopping Centre and the Hilton. Tempting, and pleasant to talk to, but I was never a patron.

On my last trip in December, that stroll outside the Hilton seemed quieter. For the Singapore novice, girls of any nationality often try for top $$$ here, so try to be aware of pricing. I was once offered $500 ST by a PRC Chinese, putting herself out as Korean, who I think has been mentioned here before. If you're staying locally, unless it's very late, the easy access to further customers in the vicinity can also make enforcing a LT deal problematical, so choose wisely.

My family moved to S'pore a few months ago (schooling reasons) and I visit the city once a month for the weekend. Used to visit OT on previous visits but that is not possible anymore. Thus, the option of visiting 'Health Center's' is the only likely option for me. Your recommendation of the Holiday Inn is interesting and I have the following couple of questions:
(a) Can anyone simply walk into this particular HC at the Holiday Inn and receive the full treatment without asking for it?
(b) Can you recommend any other places (on or close to Orchard Rd) with a decent selection of ladies?

I agree with Topos's suggestion as one of the alternatives and did the same on occasions. Because of my colleagues staying next door, I didnt want to risk. Occasionally, I used to go to Geylang at night and rent a room for a night (35-50SGD) and sample several locals. LT is a good possibility since you will not have any valuables with you in the room. One advice... Some girls dont go far from where they stand. I would suggest first to see what you want and then rent a room. You can also rent a hotel room for a short term (about 10 SGD) or try other ST opportunities in Geylang.

I'm an active Monger when I'm travelling, but this trip will be trickier in that there will be a significant number of work colleagues staying as well, including the boss! So discretion will be the challenge!

I'll be staying at the Shangri-La. Having searched the forum I could only find a couple of hold references to this hotel, so I though I'd get some updates from the Singapore experts.

Is the Shangri-La GF?

How easy is it to bring a girl in to the hotel in a discreet way - eg side entrances, or reception having a short walk to the lifts.?

Orchard Towers seems to be the most popular destination for finding good WGs. On the map this does not seem far from the hotel, but there is no scale on the map I've found. Can someone advise please?

Any other expert guidance will be appreciated.

As others have written, Shangri La is GF and not so far from OT, in the evening, a comfortable 10 minute walk I'd guess. No need for discretion for the sake of the hotel staff. Ask the captain, and they'll get your companion to your room without your colleagues being any the wiser. I'd say your biggest risk of discovery would be at or around OT itself.

If you need to be really discreet, rooms in the Geylang hotels can be had for S$50 overnight or on a 2 hour 'transit rate'. Pay in cash so no evidence. OT girls are generally happy to go back there.

I estimate the Shangri-La is a bit over a five minute walk from OT depending on how quickly you motor. It's usually pretty humid so I only stroll to avoid working up too much of a sweat.

If you want to get a taxi without yelling out OT then ask to go to the Hilton; it's directly opposite OT and you can always claim to be meeting someone staying there. Plausible deniability!

You'll need a taxi back (the girls don't do walking): avoid the ones at the front of OT as they can be a rip off. Go out the back entrance and either grab one there or walk to the left and join the queue at the taxi stand; you can't miss it as there'll be a queue of guys & girls waiting. One tip: around 10pm on Friday & Saturday you can't get a cab for love or money (something to do with meal breaks, changeover & waiting for the more lucrative rates at 11pm) so avoid that period. At 1am there will be a million taxis waiting to take you home; I often look at them waiting and think 'why weren't you around earlier when you could have been making money?'.

Shangri-La is 5-10 mins walk from OT but as has been said the girls won't walk back they far - especially uphill. They will walk to Hilton, Orchard Hotel or Orchard Parade.

My recollection of Shangri-La is one grand entrance and a walk across the lobby to the elevators. No problems with the hotel if you are reasonable and discreet (the girls normally have some sort of cover-up) but you might want to case the side entrances to avoid your colleagues. Of course taxis will drop you at the front.

My suggestion is that you take a taxi or walk to Orchard Hotel and walk through the lobby to the rear entrance past the Irish pub and Tony's ribs then cross the street to OT. You can come back this way with the gal to get a cab if the OT rank is full.

Never been reported but I would be surprised if the Shangri-La were not self contained and have some sort of bar with some action. These girls are like bees to a honey pot.

Absolutely right, like good manners, a little discretion never goes amiss. You can get away with pretty much anything here, as long as you aren't causing a problem for anyone else, but it's not good form to barge through the high class wedding party with your new Filipino sex toy!

That said, causing a little discomfort for certain guests can be fun. After taking up a late 'two for the price of one' offer one evening at OT, I remember the 4am lobby scene well. Walking in with one of my new friends on each arm, not a glance from the hotel staff, but the small party of English tourists with an early flight were a different story. Felt like a little exploring on Monday so set off to the best place in town. Good club, excellent band and an excellent night out, especially at weekends. Good mix of customers. Majority of patrons don't have anything to do with p4p.

Cover charge at weekends, drinks can be pricey, and the girls too. Attracts the 'higher end of the market' type of girl (or at least those who think they are). No S$150 LT here. Plenty of money around, so on busy nights the more attractive girls can often easily find customers at much higher rates than OT.

Good chance of a non-pro pickup if you're the type.

A read through the forum will show that there are some patterns that might help you decide where to go first.

The basement bars are pretty much all Filipina.

Ipanema has a wide cross section - but they can be very commercial. The other bars on this floor have a variety including the quieter confines of Jamboreee. However the Filipinas do come upstairs on a quiet night.

I have never found anything worthwhile in the other smaller bars near Ipanema - the same goes for the floors above.

WMThe bar in the basement where all the girls are from the Philipines is called Peyton Place. If you like to talk to the girls I would say that the filipina girls are the better option because the speak fair good english. On the other hand, Peyton Place is a very noisy place, especially when the live band is playing. I suggest you go there find a cute one, and if you still like to chit-chat before the deed, take her to one of the more quiter places upstairs.

For listening to good life music and table top dance 8sometinmes), I chose NAUGHTY GIRL. It is a hidden gem, in a side niche behind Ipanema and before the Thai restaurant (by the way - this little place is highly recommended, if you are in favor of original Thai food!)

Reckon you're thinking about this way too much!

If you're in a hurry I reckon even an OT novice could choose a bar and be out of OT with something acceptable in less than 15 minutes. In fact there are so many girls milling around inside, you could hunt without ever entering one of the bars.

But for what it's worth I'd second GH's endorsement of Naughty Girl, and Peyton can be useful if you're in a hurry. A couple of earlier posts give some pointers on choosing and price level. Ipanema does have a great selection, and the band is good, but it's pretty loud in there.

My personal MO is that I like to hang out in Harry's, the music pub on the ground floor of OT2 (at the rear), then take a stroll through OT1 while the band is on a break. If I find something interesting, sometimes I'll take her back to Harry's for a drink, where it's possible to hold a conversation. There is also often decent P4P in Harry's, though unlike at OT1 bars they won't (and are not allowed to) approach you.

(For those unfamiliar with the layout, Orchard Towers is exactly that, two towers linked by a footbridge, with most of the 'OT Experience', as described here, to be found in the tower fronting on Orchard Road)

here is the latest news that may create problems in the near future.

aviation officials reluctant to renew certificate due to multiple concerns. this friday was supposed to be the day suvarnabhumi airport would have received a permanent aerodrome certificate for meeting safety requirements of the international civil aviation organisation (icao) - but that is not going to happen.

the interim certificate issued six months ago by the department of civilian aviation (dca) in response to the former government's rush to open the airport for domestic flights on july 29, will expire tomorrow and officials feel uneasy about extending it.

dca director-general chaisak angsuwan said the lack of certification was likely to affect international confidence in thailand's brand new airport, but it was impossible for his agency to issue a permanent certificate amid looming problems such as major cracks on the runway, taxiway and tarmac.

"the best we could do is issue another six-month interim certificate to suvarnabhumi, but i'm not certain if we can do it by this friday because there are a long list of questions for which we are still awaiting answers from the airports of thailand," he said.

chaisak said his agency needed to see a comprehensive plan of how the cracks - reportedly rep001tered around some 100,000 square metres of the airport - would be addressed, as well as other unresolved safety issues such as inadequate lighting and airfield signs.

the thaksin shinawatra government rushed to officially open suvarnabhumi in late september amid criticism from both local and international aviation industry that the airport was not ready. the council for national security, which ousted thaksin 10 days before the opening, said it was too late to change the schedule.

these developments potentially set the stage for the airport to be left in a certification "no-man's land" as thai credibility in regard to ensuring airport safety up to icao standards has suffered a major blow.

"the icao will soon release a list of uncertified airports in the world and it remains to be seen if suvarnabhumi will be on the list," a dca safety official, who asked not to be named, said.

You may well be right! Instincts etc will always take over at some point - but I always have done my research before heading to pastures new. Worked well for me in Philippines, Indonesia, Russia and Prague etc over the years even if plan A was not followed!

Interestingly, I was going through some files of a former colleague last week. He had a decent street map of Singapore. 2 locations were circled, one was our office and you can all guess the other!

We all know that its possible to score a lonely Phil helper at the food court in Lucky Plaza. Well I was there last week and wandering around the upper flooors when spied a lady all alone sitting on one of the seats. Chattede pleasantly but I had to run off for a business dinner and by the time I could call her again she had to be on her way home.But she did suggest if I was there again a postive and freindly meeting could be had.

Anyways at about ten one night Id already been thru OT and realy didnt see anything that excited me. So went back to Lucky Plaza to the bar on top floor. Sat with my beer, and one new lady came say with me. I speak some Filipino ( Im caucasian but lived in Manila) so we had lots of laughs. She had a few beers with me and as it was 12 o clock, she was allowed to leave. Had a very pleasant time in my room, and she didnt expect money. If it were not for the PRC's which are cheaper to get here, for those who like them, (they're my weak spot actually...and my friends know that), and the Thais which are the friendliest and best of the class, then Jakarta is definitely unbeatable value and far superior in mongering, both moneywise and otherwise. There's more girls, who are more GFE, even in MP's, younger, etc. etc.

I find Jakarta somehow less "mechanical" and business oriented, more sort of genuine, warm, friendly, where you can often actually connect with the girls, and I don't think that my perception of Singapore being a failed and pale attempt copy of the western world has to do with it, or maybe it has... heck I don't really know. For instance, I have never ever been asked to pay upfront by a girl in Jakarta. You certainly know that the norm is the other way round in Singapore.

By my standards, which are not necessarily yours, (check my posts to have an idea), I would very much recommend Jakarta over Singapore. Educate yourself by RTFF and there's plenty of information there, including maps and directions how to get there.

One word of caution though, don't try to see it all and do it all in a weekend ... It's just not feasible. Select 2 or 3 spots maximum and go for it.

If you do it right, you should normally be heading back to the airport limping, with your wallet not even screaming ...

I'd second your recommendation for JKT over SG, with the excellent information here, even a first timer should have a great visit.

Disagree with you though on the pay upfront in SG. Apart from Viets, I've never been asked to pay upfront in Singapore and I'd strongly recommend rejecting any girl who insists. But of course we aren't always thinking straight.

Personally, I've had good experience with Thai, Filipino and even a few Chinese, good gfe, where we haven't negotiated money up front, and I've just left the appropriate amount in their bag in the morning. But if you're new to the scene in Singapore, best establish the girl's expectations in advance.

Choose well (not a stand out good looker is my tip) and there is gfe available in Singapore, but in JKT you'll find sweet girls at half the price.

It pains me to write this being a Reds fan but I have to confess I have finally been hit by the Gooners.

She was called Jay and a stunning figure fortunately she revealed the bad news after sex otherwise it might have been hard to perform - but then again she could have raised the dead.

The amusing part was heading off to Mustafa's at 4am in order to get her a pair of jeans to prolong the night. The down side was the number she gave me was in Bangkok and she is in Singapore for a month - what a waste.

Of course, they had no problem making sure I paid my Passenger Service Fee. But I expected more from a national airport in a country with its own internal security issues, not to mention the omnipresent threat of airborne terrorism.

Actually, the safety certificate was for the overall "structural" concerns for the new airport (runways having cracks and potholes, building cracks, foundation leaks etc--list goes on and on) but dont cover the screening/security issues as thats a separate dept.
Their terrorism threats right now are mainly an internal problem so they dont look too much on the foreigner visits (at least not yet, except for the usual contrabands).

BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) -- The taxiways are cracked, the terminal has leaks and some airlines even wonder whether it's safe to fly into Thailand's new international airport.

Bangkok's sleek and modern Suvarnabhumi Airport, which opened to great fanfare in September, was supposed to transform the Thai capital into Southeast Asia's leading air hub. To say it has had a rocky start would be an understatement.

Critics at home have derided the new airport as a national embarrassment and a monument to the alleged corruption of deposed Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Thaksin, whose administration handed out most of the airport's building contracts, was ousted in a coup just days before Suvarnabhumi opened on September 28.

"There is so much bad news about this airport -- and so much that needs to be fixed," said Yodiam Teptaranon, a board member of Airports of Thailand, or AOT, the national airport authority. "Everything seems to be happening all at once. It makes everyone concerned."

Transport Minister Thira Haocharoen recommended on Monday that Bangkok's old and now shuttered Don Muang airport be reopened for domestic flights that do not connect to international routes. The reopening, which is expected to get Cabinet approval next week, would help ease congestion while repairs are made at Suvarnabhumi and could be permanent, he said.

The most urgent problem is cracks on the tarmac. Early last week, airport authorities said that more than 100 cracks were detected in taxiways leading to Suvarnabhumi's two runways. The cracks first emerged about two weeks after the airport opened and have spread to 25 separate locations, said Somchai Sawasdeepon, the airport's general manager.

As a result, planes are unable to use 11 out of 51 air bridges for boarding aircraft, causing inconvenience to passengers who are shuttled by bus to and from their planes.

Thira, the transport minister, admitted last week that "some airlines have concerns" about the airport's safety.

Thailand's Department of Civil Aviation decided on Friday to hold off on renewing the airport's international safety certificate, known as its Aerodrome Certificate, because needed repairs to taxiways were not yet finished. The airport can continue to operate without the license.

"You're beginning to see the evidence of Thaksin's wrongdoing in this -- our mother of all airports," he told a gathering of foreign journalists on Monday.

absolutely. i wanted something that had in room internet, but $120 + vat + $15 for internet is way out of control, especially since the room sucked. i stayed later at sunway, which at $80 was also too much but the room was great and bathroom was up to speed with hot water (vice lukewarm at cambodiana) and all new electric control everything.

most of the riverfront hotels were booked to capacity unless i wanted a backroom without windows or some other problem. and i am not a budget traveler, so i just went with something upscale. but it seems that in cambodia a fresh coat of paint qualifies a hotel as '5-star'. they are still rebuilding and learning i guess.

i am in sin now at the shangri-la now in one of the new valley suites. butler service, tv over the bath, et cetera. awesome...

i have a couple non-pro girls here (one is a flight attendant i met on the way in) but i hope to hit ipanema soon to add my own local report. otherwise i will be in mnl soon!

I was in Singapore for almost a week and visited BRIX regularly. I prefer BRIX to OT, as it is not as upfront and you are left alone if you dont want to get disturbed. Admittedly prices may be a bit higher than other places, but i guess you have enough choice at each price point.

Day 1
Met up with a Singaporean Malay who charged 250 for LT. I dont want to go too much into the details but it was GFE and worth it.

Day 2
Did not like what I saw so went in for the agency service, but was pretty disappointed as the girls they send never match up to the description given and they expect you to give cab fare (SGD40) if you send them back. I guess there are very few agencies but operate under mutiple names to confuse gullible mongers like us. I would never recommed them.

Day 3
Wanted to check out Geylang the 150 girls, many houses were closed and a lot of them refused on seeing the colour of my skin (racism still rules) so went back to Brix instead, this time i met a nice girl from Vladivostok, she had nice figure although was more expensive than the local at SGD 400 for LT, but was real GFE, added advantage was that she was a non-smoker so you can Kiss at length without smelling tobacco and tar. She was real fun.

Gents,

I had two non-pros lined up that fell through, so I made my first foray out to OT last night, keen on hitting Naughty Girl, Ipanema, and Peyton Place. I made the walk from Shang down to Orchard Rd pondering how my first night would go. My thoughts coming in would be that SIN is very strict and discreet, but as soon as I hit Orchard I saw what I knew had to be a SW. She was standing by a bus stand and was dressed the part, and when we made eye contact I knew I was right. She smiled and asked me where I was going. It was only 9:30PM and my evening only beginning so I blew her off, but I was very happy to know that I was in the right place, and felt like the market was going to be in my favor. I had no idea.

I walked past OT at first to get my bearings, down past the Thia embassy to the McDonald's stand on the corner, seeing more SWs on the way. I grabbed some cash at the bank ATM opposite McD's, then doubled back.

I walked in and figured out the basic lay out of the towers, then went into Naughty Girl. It was very quiet in there, but the band was awesome, playing some great covers of Guns & Roses, Evanescence, Clapton, etc. I caught the eye of a nice looking Thai gal with a nice smile. I just wanted to chill but decided to buy her a drink. It turned out to be an expensive one, as nice as she seemed she was definitely a shark. She slurped down the martini whatever she had like it was cool-aid. We had a nice conversation, but then she walked away inexplicably, so I took it as my opportunity to leave. She intercepted me on the way out and offered to go with me to the next bar, but I politely refused.

I then went to Ipanema which definitely seemed to have great selection and atmosphere. Had a couple of female couples offer me a threesome like they were waitresses offering a drink. I knew I would get into trouble too early here, so I walked back out to check out Peyton Place.

I walked in and it is a pretty laid back joint. Grabbed a beer and settled into a dark corner to observe the action. A couple of pinays approached me, and we chatted for a couple mins and laughed, but they were both too chubby so I dismissed them. Most of the girls were either with guys or were not very good looking, so I prepared to make a round at another place. Then I saw a tiny little thing sitting over in front of the dance floor, all alone. She looked nice and thin and was sexily but tastefully dressed. I knew this was an opportunity, so I walked over and asked her "When does the band start?". She told me in about 30 mins, and I could sit and wait with her.

She said she was a waitress at a local aussie joint, and it was her night off, so we was out having a good time. Yeah, okay, I thought. But we seemed to hit it off, and were getting along fine. We had some drinks, and she let me pet her fishnetted legs, which were very sexy and was getting me in the mood.

So I teased her by telling her I liked her and that I had a nice suite with a bathroom that had a TV over the tub, et cetera, and then "How much do you want for LT?". She looked at me like I asked her about general relativity. "What do you mean? Do not talk to me about that...".

So at this point I was confused, as she was acting like a WG, but talking like a girl just having fun, maybe looking for a new boyfriend. So I decided to let the matter rest. Either she would ask me for money when we got to my room and we could negotiate there, or I would just give her an arbitrary amount like the Thais I had on the side.

We went to Blue Banana to play some pool, then headed back to my room. Here in the normal light I could see she was still cute, but not the woman I saw in the darkness of OT. I was still happy, but be warned that you need to get your girl in the light to make sure she is what you think.

We had fun in the tub massaging each other and getting each other horny, then moved it to the bedroom. The sex was awesome. This girl was so wet and convulsive that I knew she likes sex. She must just be a waitress at a normal bar looking for a boyfriend. Either way, I treated her nice, and she treated me well in return, and all it cost was the price of room service.

I returned to Orchard Towers this trip and went to Ipanema. Very crowded, lots of girls. About 60% were Vietnamese, The rest were Filipino, Thai, South American, Chinese. Of course, there the advantage was you got a great massage and then a great full service. But a year back the management of this Health Club at the Park Hotel changed. Now they still offer massage cum service. But it is terrible on both counts. The Peoples Park Centre is in Chinatown area away from Orchard Road. Not sure of road but easy to find on maps. There is also Peoples Park Complex nearby. Peoples Park Centre has walkways to Chinatown Point on one side and Furama City Hotel on the other. Furama has two hotels in SIN - the other one is riverside or something.

The board of Airports of Thailand Plc yesterday approved the use of Don Muang for domestic flights with no international connections and set March 15 as the possible date for the relaunch of services at the old airport.

It targeted March 15 for the resumption of regular services for Don Muang, which was closed on Sept 28, when the country's main airport moved to Suvarnabhumi.

The March 15 date was set to allow sufficient time to prepare for an expected surge in air travel to the provinces during the Songkran holiday.

Sources in the Airports of Thailand (AoT) board said its president Chotisak Asapaviriya told the meeting that the March 15 move was possible. However, he told reporters afterwards that he could not guarantee complete success.

Airlines with domestic services _THAI, Nok Air, Thai AirAsia and One-Two-Go have supported yesterday's decision.

Recently in Singapore and local associates (Chinese) took me to the Dragon HC for a couple of hours. Process went as follows:

First post ever, and hopefully useful.

- The reports so far show that hotels are generally girl friendly in Singapore. I've never been bothered. I’ve found the service very deferential in Singapore; certainly far more customer-focused than in Europe.

- The InterContinental hotel is in Middle Road, across the road from the new library, I think. This is a fair way from the Orchard Road area. You'd need a taxi. It’s quite close to Chijmes, however, where the Insomnia bar is located. This bar sports fairly loud live music and the occasional FL from Vietnam or PI. It’s not nearly as ‘full-on’ as Ipanema and nothing’s guaranteed, but it’s a good night out. There is great sushi nearby. The InterContinental is quite a nice hotel, and the room rates can be pretty good. Haven't had experience with the other hotels.

- The Hilton is on Orchard Road, opposite the Orchard Towers, and near to Brix and the Marriot corner bar, where pickings are sometimes possible. If your focus is on Orchard Towers, then this hotel is difficult to beat, location-wise.

- The Mandarin is on the same side of Orchard Road, but a fair way down, between Orchard and Somerset MRT stations. It's a good fifteen minute walk from the Mandarin to the Orchard Tower area, I reckon. A taxi ride from Orchard Tower would probably get a scowl from the driver, due to the short driving distance, but walking your chosen date home along Orchard Road might get a fair bit of attention, depending on how late it was.

I suppose the room rate will influence your decision. I'd expect the InterContinental to be cheaper, being further from the 'centre'.

The right question for Singapore is not how girl friendly since basically all the hotels there including the 5 stars turn a blind eye to working girls going to rooms, but rather how much hassle/embarassement personally is it for you to get them up to the room. Different hotels put you into the walk of shame in different ways. Of course if you don't care what other people think, no problem.

A better question would be, can a working girl by herself get up to the room without assistance anytime day or night. Little things like elevators that require your room card to activate can be a problem.

And if you are bringing someone back from OT, how exposed are you in the walk through the lobby to the elevators and what kind of people are likely to be watching you. Try picking up something and walking her past a tour group of middle aged American women in the lobby. You best not mind the stares or the whispering you will hear.

Compared to the rest of the world Singapore and most Asian hotels are really easy. Try walking a working girl through some hotel lobbies in other places and see how fast that hard on disappears when security pulls you aside or they try to shake you down for more money.

My experience is that the Hilton is overrated with tiny rooms. Don't know about the other two.

As for GF. As has been said before all hotels in Sing are girl friendly. In some of them (e.g. Traders) the front desk will stop the lady leaving alone and call you to check if all is OK. I think this is a good thing. Others do nothing.

The only time they will pull you up is if you or she is flaunting it or otherwise disturbing other guests. Most of the girls will have some kind of cover-up for this reason.

If you're looking for some quick action, a run over the Geylang area (14 or 16 looked good when I was there this weekend) might work out well. I reckon Hyatt and even OT may get going a little late for you. FL, and that random Singapore bump into a WG anywhere experience are a bit too hit and miss for your schedule.

A personal itineray on a stopover might be:

Taxi to Geylang (or MRT to Aljunied), if I wanted a room, I'd head to Lorong 16 where there are a couple of Hotel 81, about S$60 (less for members / regulars), though they also have a 2 hour 'transit rate' which isn't in any way connected with travel. Many other hotels, all good value.

Walk to Lorong 11, and take a relaxing 1.5 hour thai massage (Lanna Thai, good showers, no extras, S$55).

Grab some food at one of the 100's of Gelylang eateries. Take in the scenery.

Then it's up to you, Thai or Malay girl from one of the houses, Indonesian, Sri Lankan, Chinese freelancers, it's all here. Chinese SW often speak little or no English, but friendly local mongers will often help. If you just want a room for the deed, then no need to take a hotel, the girls can always arrange.

Then you've time for a kip, more Geylang action or even a quick trip to OT.

About 30 minutes to get back to the airport from Geylang, allow an hour from downtown (Orchard). Early evening taxis can sometimes be hard to find. For a flight time similar to yours I've left Geylang by MRT as late as 10pm. The airport is efficient and 1.5 hours before your flight is easily enough.

Sunday is Chinese New Year. Saturday and Sunday will be busy, some HC / massage shops will be closing from Saturday afternoon till maybe Tuesday. You shouldn't have a problem early on, but the Geylang hotels can be busier on a holiday.

Geylang can be a little bewildering for the first time visitor, but on my very first trip to SG I had a great time. Read the excellent reports here, and choose wisely.

If that's all too much, and you aren't on a budget, Orchard Hotel have rooms
at S$208 (wotif.com), you could stroll to OT and Brix (but your timing isn't so good), or get something delivered.

I have been aware enough (or sober enough) to have not had a close and personal experience but I do believe that some of these LB have surgically created slits that are not unlike the real thing.

The Desker Road area for mongering is really a 2 -3 street area which is in the Little India location. Most P4P here are in the low to really low quality Indian category-sometime an Indonesian could be found here. I usually avoid this area because most here are simply old and ugly. A quick conversation with one 8/10 established they were going to Blu bar on top floor of Shangri-La. So, clearly a WG presence within the hotel. Took her phone number and went off for my walk.

I did my normal hour, then passed by the hotel again towards OT. No more than an easy 10 minute walk, including generally browsing the buildings etc. Walked passed 2 girls clearly heading for OT. Alomost thought of doing a deal then but decided I need to research the OT anyway.

I had not appreciated the bars were so clearly advertised from outside.

Peyton Place was the first stop. Reasonable Fiipina band playing. Fairly empty (time is 10: 30 ish) and good WG/men ratio. Apart from 1 good mover on the dance floor the quality was not great so after a drink went next door to Banana Bar. Another Filipina bar. Drinks cheaper and another reasonable band, but the quality was no better.

I then went up to Ipanema. It was very busy with a good girl/punter ratio. As reported elsewhere the girls are much more assertive here. I found the light poor and difficult to assess the girls. I ended up talking to a very nice 9/10 viet girl dressed very classy in a long dress. Chatted and cuddled for quite a while, but she wanted 500 for LT and would not budge from this. I was sorely tempted but said no. Offered 250 as my top. No deal.

Headed back to Peyton again while thinking whether I should go back for the viet. When I bumped into 2 Filipinas clearly moving between bars. Both had nice figures and smiles. Quick chat and agreed on 300 for the two of them.

No problems getting them in the hotel. I told the girls that I had colleagues staying in the same hotel so I wanted to go to the room first and they could follow a few minutes later. They were ok with this and appeared at my room 2 minutes after me without problem. I had given them my name so they could get the bellboys to bypass the lift security mechanism.

Back to the hotel and had a reasonable time. But more business like than my normal experience with Filipinas. After around 3 hours I said they could go as my jetlag was kicking in.

I noticed in the hotel guide that Blu Bar would still be open so went upstairs for a quick beer. Several very good looking CIS were still in the bar. I wasn't interested in taking them then but chatted with a couple of them and got their numbers. Depending on how tomorrow evenings business arrangements go I may well sample one of them.

My day was spent partially working but with some spare time in the afternoon for some sightseeing. I decided to visit Raffles and be a typical tourist trying the Singapore Slings. $20 each + taxes! London hotel pricing but a nice experience anyway. Dropped my peanut shells on the floor and went off to a business dinner and reception.

I finished drinking with my Client in the Shangri-La Blu bar about midnight. They headed off so now it was decision time. The girls I had seen yesterday had not shown so I had just decided to head down to OT when 2 stunners walked into the bar and proceeded to sit opposite me. Eye contact was made in a few seconds and I was soon talking to a lovely Korean girl passing under the name of Emma. 21 years old with a body to die for and pretty as well. She is in Sing studying english but needed to make some money as well.

We were soon in my room for a very good GFE experience. BBBJ, CIM, FS, DATY with another round in the morning. As the room has a very good safe (large enough for laptop) I let her stay while I went down to the hotel meeting area to a conference. At the mid morning break I came back to the room and we had round 3. We then both left the room equally happy. There is a good chance I shall call her back on Friday!

My business and client entertainment activities ended around 10pm. After a quick change I started walking down from Shangri-La to OT. In the space of that few minutes I got a sms from Emma - my Korean from last night - and Julie - one of the CIS I had seen on my first night. I decided to call Julie first and she said she was at Ipanema, so I told her I would see her in a few minutes. Then called Emma had claimed tiredness and I would call her on Friday evening.

I walked into Ipanema and saw Julie near the bar. I was sure she had not seen me so I decided to do a circuit around the club to see what the talent was like. Ipanema did not seem as busy as on my first night, but I found it difficult to really see the talent unless they were close up - I guess my eyesight is going in my old age! I completed my circuit, having not seen anyone I fancied as much as Julie. As I walked towards her I saw her being chatted up by a couple of fat guys. I was about to interrupt when she saw me and immediately came over and put her arms around me! 2 pissed off guys but I was happy!! :) A few quick words and off we went to the hotel.

She is from Kazakhstan and a Geology Student doing an english course in Singpapore. She will be an asset to any oil and gas company in the future!

A couple of drinks in the room and we were soon showering together and heading for the bed. Now I know we can all be conned by the girls, but Julie wanted it badly. Everything was on the menu except 'A' and repeated several times. The lack of 'A' was no problem as she was as tight as anyone I can remember being with. She made a lot of noise during DATY and I had to keep turning the TV volume up (Shangri-La has very poor music channel options by the way - an Indonesian Jazz festival was the best I could find!).

She squeezed 3 pops out of me before going to sleep and 1 more in the morning - another great GFE experience.

Only one night left before I leave Singapore, but I shall be going with plenty of good memories.

An excellent hotel, but everyone knew that! No issues on it being GF either.

I did not find any side entrances that enable you to avoid the walk across the large lobby to the lifts (I was in the Tower wing). But the staff are not the issue in this situation but trying to ensure some secrecy from colleagues.

The lifts are room card controlled after 11 pm - so if you have arranged for someone to come to your room you need to bear that in mind.

The Blu bar, based on my visits, has WGs there every night - typically around 6. Most of the bar's customers did not appear to be mongers and the girls were left alone most of the time, but clearly they get sufficient business or they would not turn up!

They seem to arrive early - from 9:30 to 10 pm. On the Tuesday there were girls there until around 1/1.30 am, but on Friday they all left at midnight - clearly another location was preferred.

They all dress very well and were mainly CIS, although there was in my judgement 1 or 2 Thais as well. As you might expect they are targetting a well off client base in this hotel and their opening rates were usually $350 ST and $600 LT. Note that one or two quoted in US$.

I negotiated the Korean down to Sing $300 LT and my CIS down to Sing $350LT.

Yes, more expensive than OT standard rates, but these were top girls in looks, body, attitude and GFE so I'm not complaining :)

For my final night I started early at Ipanema as I was looking to make full use of my remaining time before flying back to the barren UK. Very few punters in Ipanema at 9pm but there was a good choice of girls.

After a couple of quick circuits I picked up a cute little viet girl (but then they are all little!) and negotiated $150 ST. (Could not be for any longer as I had sms'd Emma earlier for a LT and she was arriving at the hotel around 11pm.). The viet was calling herself May, and proved to be a bit of a clock watcher and very business like. That's is not normally my taste but was OK in the circumstances. No CIM or A (although I did try!) but a pleasant enough experience and I had 2 pops in the time.

ST over so I patted May on the ass, paid her off and sent her back to Ipanema. I had sufficient time to tidy the room and shower before Emma arrived. I was hungry so we had some room service and went up to Blu for a drink before enjoying a long night and morning together, with plenty of DFK, DATY, BBBJ, CIM and FS. She stayed until midday. Another excellent experience and when she left I gave her a big tip.

So that's the end of my first Singapore trip - now have to work out how to justify another.

No change I see last visit I had, things still good to go as long you have money in pocket.

Mostly only good hotels in Sing. unlike other surround countries so cant go wrong. Only difference is price selection-up 2 you.

Having essentially packed etc after writing my last FR I had a few hours to do some regular pressie shopping down Orchard Road. Shopping errands were duly accomplished and Is till had some time to kill, so I went into Harry's bar for a beer. I chose Harry's because it was not celebrating St Patricks day - not anti Irish but I hate the naff partying that takes place.

Sat outside for the first beer but got too hot so I went inside for another. It was very quiet and near empty. There is some Aussie Rules being shown (too early for the 6 nations unfortunately) and, as usual, I struggle to understand the rules or subtlety of the game.

"wanee massage" is whispered in my left ear and I turn to see a PRC next to me. After an initial rejection from me she tries again with "very good massage". My good intentions are being challenged by the offer plus the boring sport (sorry Aussie readers). I explain I'm leaving in around 2 hours and ask her how much. Her offer of $300 is laughed off and I counter with $100 as long as it is a very good massage. She agrees immediately (I guess business was quiet) and we walk quickly back to Shangri-La. her name is Hong, 27 and from Beijing.

Just want to pass along a reminder that there is still some risk to your wallet in Singapore. I'm kicking myself about the loss, but thought I should share it for the benefit of others.

Was at OT a couple weeks back down in Blue Banana. I had a call to take, so I excused myself and went outside. Standing by the wall, a lady (no, not lady boy) of about 28 approaches me and tries to get me horny. She's got her hands all over and I'm politely declining her, but not firmly enough. Apparently, I was enjoying it a bit.

But, my attention was on the call. At one point I checked my wallet and noted it was still there. What I didn't realize was that at some point she was able to lift the money right out of the wallet without removing the wallet.

After 10 minutes I was beginning to get firm saying, "not interested" and she got the message - or so I thought. Later I realize she was done picking me clean. I ran outside looking around, but she was not so stupid to try sticing around. I thought about the police, but knew it would not go anywhere and probably only make more problems for the +90% of honest SWs.

Lessons learned:
1. You're never completely safe, even in Singapore.
2. If someone has their hands all over you and working you, don't assume it must be because she wants to go ST/LT.
3. Make sure your wallet is safe. My wallet was open side up, making it possible for someone with skill to remove the money.

I still believe it can be safe, but remember to watch your valuables.

Like anywhere in zee world, crime exist. Never 100% free. Not even in me own house as me woman at home steals from me wallet often when I not look.
Only Sgn not as bad as other places so crime very low.
Also most of zee crimes be minor (Pickpocks) and not zee bong on head-violent types just to steal zee wallet.

I had two nights in the lovely Singapore on route to China and this time stayed in Carlton Hotel. Locationis not ideal because I like to be walking distance of Boat Quay (for food and drink) or of OT or Geylang (for fun) but company had booked hotel and I did not complain. Just a quick taxi from OT is fine.

Both nights I went shopping in OT with same routine: troll of all the bars on upper floors and watched those poor drunk bastards being fooled by LBs, thinking they were the most beautiful, husky things in town. I would love tosee their faces when they realise they have a LB. Maybe some of them never realise. :)

A couple of rounds in Ipanema, searching out my prey and taking in a beer or two and then it was take a taxi to hotel with a lady on my arm.

First night - PRC with great skill and willingness. Asked 300 for LT but took 200 + breakfast for 2 pops and an early-morning BBBJ/CIM. Delightful personality and great body. Name was Ting-Ting and English name was Betty. I got her number for next visit.

Second night - Thought about two Viettes. Agreed price - 400 total LT - but somehow I did not think the chemistry was right between them. Settled for a solo Indonesian at 250. She was tall and very skinny - I prefer smaller and skinny, but I couldn't resist the eyes and the cute dimples on her cheeks. Good service. After two pops I sent her home at 4.30am with S$10 for a taxi because I needed the sleep. She seemed dissappointed to go. Or maybe I am just kidding myself.

As usual, Singapore did not disappoint. Looking forward to being there in May for a full two weeks. Great. Will I have the stamina?

Happy mongering - and do watch out for the pickpockets as noted below. They are everywhere in OT, especially in the higher levels. Those LBs will try real hard to get money one way or another.

And be warned - use the safe or hide yourmoney when you are in hotel with a girl. A wallet full of greenbacks can be just too much of a temptation for a working PRC or INDO or Viette who can take out of your wallet what she can earn in six months of screwing westerners while you are taking a leak in the bathroom.
