Hello.
Each city has their own going rates for different services. We all hate to overly-overpay. Overpaying make it bad for locals mongers. I am new to this region. Can you please give me the going rates for different services in this city. I am tying to plan my next trip somewhere. Also, how easy is it for a foriegner to find these special places?

It's an alleyway, just wide enough for one car to drive through, large window rooms visible from the street, red or nature lights, girls sitting or standing, looking out the window. This is something that I learned that might be handy to you.
Sometimes you'll see website addresses for kissrooms or whatever but since they require a Korean National I'd number you might be out of luck if you are a foreigner.
I've found that if you go to the English version of Google (not the google. Co. Kr) you can type in the website name and perhaps "board" if that helps. It will sometimes give you access to links inside the message boards that would otherwise be unreachable without a password / I'd. Or you can use Google Cache too sometimes.
Why might you need this? Well for me I have a really basic knowledge of Korean. I can read simple text and recognize names and an address. For example I found a card advertisement on the ground for a Kiss Room called Kiss to You. There was a website address. I used the Google Search backdoork link and found the address and a better drawn map. So I Daum searched the address and found a link on the Road View which helped me save time searching for it.

A standard room salon will have hot girls but what you are referring to is called a '10 pro' which is 10 percent in korean. I think your sources are exaggerating the costs a little bit. Yes it can cost a few thousand dollars but it's not just for you, but a room and howmanyever people there are so if you are not using your company's credit card, you can negotiate the costs between each person, or if you are rich, then feel free to go ahead and pay it all yourself!

Quick summary of my first time in Seoul:

She was well presented but its a long time since she was the 20yo I was hoping for. I called the fluent guy who acted all surprised but it was after 3am so I had to take it or leave it. A bad experience but I do think the officetel could be good. If you can find a more honest supplier.
I went to Hongkik university, subway line 2. Lots of eyecandy 18yo uni students walking around, several "mens clubs" advertised by inflatable columns on the footpath but they were for "Koreans only". Also saw DVD rooms, for uni kids to get some privacy apparently. I didn't get any action here but I did have a chat with a student who might have been gf material if I had been staying more than a couple of nights. That only happened once, my impression was that it would be hard for a white guy to get a really hot Korean gf. They are hot and they know it.
Other places I went:

This place was the best value. I had to turn down quite a few fatties and several 6-7's but I did find a couple of 9's after a bit of hunting. BBBJ & FS was 70, 000 and I found that service was better if you leave a small tip visible at the start of the session. The time is only about 15 minutes and I suspect I missed out on the best girls due to the widespread racism but this place is still my top recommendation if your money is limited.

I've lived and traveled in Latin American and a good bit of geography in Asia as well as parts of Europe. Unfortunately, SK is the most racist place I've seen in general and certainly in terms of the hobby.
You don't have to believe me. Just look back through the posts on this board. That's why I responded to the post. I wasn't looking to make fun of anyone's post but it struck me as funny how bad it can get at times here.
Sure there are services around but you'll frequently get shunned, overcharged, rushed etc. Which is all part of general issue that exists with foreigners here. If you must come, your best bet is to stick with one of a couple of areas that are in a sense zoned for foreigners. One being the famous (or infamous) Hooker Hill in Itaewon.
You're limited by design here not by accident.
I wouldn't advise anyone stop here honestly. Save your money and go somewhere more friendly and open minded. If you've never been to an Asian country you might get wow'ed being here the first time but it's largely more impressive if you haven't seen women in other Asian countries IMHO.

Based on my experience living in Asia (mostly China) , I think there's a sense of "tribe" that is not understood in the West. People of a given ethnic group seem to have a sense of being part of a tribe, which is like an extended family. I can't make a proper analogy, since we have nothing analogous to "tribe" in the West, but think of it this way: when doing laundry, you'd be more open to washing your family members' dirty underwear than, say, a colleague's from work whom you invited for dinner.
So, if they don't want to have sex with you, or drink with you, or hang out with you, then it could be "tribal insularity" rather than racism. If, on the other hand, they put you down, or insult you behind your back, due to your ethnic background, then I would call that "racism". I'm not sure if I'm splitting hairs, but I think there would be a different understanding of this depending on whether you come from a "tribal" culture or not.

Koreans rank among the top clients of prostitutes in Southeast Asia, ahead even of Japanese and Chinese travelers, extensive research suggests.
The conclusion comes from research by the Korean Institute of Criminology that included field surveys in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines, study of UN reports and other relevant documents, interviews with local social workers and neighbors, and arrest records at local police stations.
According to the KIC, social workers in those countries claim that Korean tourists outnumber all other nationalities in terms of the frequency of their visits to prostitutes. There are no hard data to support those claims, but a tally of tourists who frequent bars linked to prostitution and accounts of sex workers appear to confirm them.
In the Philippines, for example, a total of 920, 000 Koreans visited in 2011, making them the biggest group of foreign visitors. Cambodia saw 340, 000 Korean visitors over the same period, also the biggest group except visitors from neighboring Vietnam. In Vietnam, Korean tourists make up the second largest group after Chinese.
In its 2010 report, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime said Korean men were the prime clients of child prostitutes in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The USA State Department's annual report on [CodeWord908] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908) also points to Korean men as being the main clients of child prostitutes in Southeast Asia and Pacific islands, and added that the Korean government has yet to crack down on offenders or attempted to curb the trend.
The KIC report speculates that the main cause of the situation is a lack of guilt among Korean tourists about paying for sex. A survey on 900 people by the institute in October last year found that 77. 7 percent were not aware that paying for sex overseas is an offence under Korean law, and 78. 5 percent thought their chances of getting punished were low.
Another cause of the problem, according to the report, is that tourists are frequently solicited to pay for sex. Korean tourists in their 20s and 30s are lured into purchasing tour packages involving prostitution on the Internet, while those in their 40s and 50s are approached by travel agents. Neither practice met with much restraint.
The KIC said many tourists do not go on trips aiming to pay for sex, but local tour guides take them to insalubrious establishments as part of the package.

Found another red light area that I have not seen mentioned.
Yeongdeungpo station. There area is right behind Times Square Mall. It is small and the girls were just arriving at 6pm on Saturday. If you circle the block there are older ladies that were foreigner friendly, but it looked really run down.
Suwon Station. Across from main station on the left. This is a great area for foreigners and many girls to choose from. Price is 50-70,000 though I wonder what the Koreans are paying because I heard 30, 000 when I was walking by during a negotiation.
Cheongnyangni Station. Block left of Station. This is a 50/50 foreigner friendly area and the more attractive girls tend to ignore westerns. I like the area because I usually find at least 3 cute girls that are willing. It is very funny when the A row girls try to get 210000, but price is normally 70,000.
Cheonho Station. Little harder to find, but directions can be searched for. A lot of girls and they share windows. I went on a weekday evening and did not have many offers.
Gireum Station. Take exit 10. Prices have been raised to 80,000/90,000. This area is foreigner friendly but very different from the other areas. I older lady will DRAG you to a black window and open it. She makes you step inside and there you can see several girls to choose from. It is very difficult to leave without picking, but it can be done if you do not see anything you like. Sometimes she will try to lead you to a room and then pick a girl for you. I was able to switch when one I didn't like showed up. Service here varies and often it has been very rushed with covered everything.
Dongducheon Jungang Station. Leave the back of the train station and walk straight. After the second intersection make a right and follow down the alley with a lot of military stores. On the left will be a small part of the area and across next major street. Girls here are cute and seem to be very foreigner friendly. Price is 70,000.
Pyeongtaek station. To the left of the station. Very big area and not at all foreigner friendly.

The problem is I'd have to take a cab up there, and I have no idea how much that would cost round trip AND unsure if the cab would wait for me or if there will be a bunch of cabs waiting for me to take me back? If anyone can shed some light on the cab situation (if its feasible) to go up to Yong Ju Gol I'd really appreciate it. If it costs close to 100,000 won just to get up there one way probably not worth it then obviously since I could go to a top end Anma for 250,000 won, but I enjoyed this RLD the most, the girls would chase after you and grab you and you feel like a celebrity haha.
