Visited the Hill for the first time in a long time. Went early to beat the rush, but no one was open. Nobody in the area (except maybe the transgender bars) had anyone working that early. Time I introduce myself I reckon. You will find that info on the shop's website which you will need a korean ID number. Foreigner number wont work. Tried already on several sites.Non-Korean ID numbers are tricky. Most can be made to work, if you know how. Sometimes it won't work even with the "trick".

You have to enter your name (in ALL CAPS) exactly as it is written on your residence card: LastnameFirstnameMiddlename (no spaces), however there is also a 20 character limit. If your LFM name is more than 20 characters (like mine), then you have to truncate it at the 20th character and ignore the rest.

Well guys, sorry I have been off the site for a while, but I thought I would write a quick report about last night.

I've asked about Russians on this board before but never really got a proper response. The ones I've met even at places like Rio Club near the Hill say they are here in Korea "as students". There is an Anma in Jamsil. I was looking out my hotel room window on the 30th floor of the Lotte World hotel and saw a bright red neon Anma sign. If you look across the little lake, there is a 3 or 4 story building right next to a taller building on the right-hand side of the lake, and the building has a very prominent anma sign on it. The hyatt is definitely worth a look. I was there with some colleagues, enjoying the band. After they left, there were clearly some girls on the take. They are usually standing alone. Finally, I went back to the hotel and called a massage service to my room around midnight. I found the add in todays edition of "The Korea Herald": "Sports Massage. Phone 016-743-8455". Guys. Stay away!

Calling massage service from Korea Herald or the othr English news paper is always a hit and miss. just curious but has anybody here given their mobile numbers to rld girls or anma girls? i'm a half korean-half japanese guy who grew up in america but has been living in korea for the past several years (but my korean is pretty fluent and my accent is good as well).

i've never been to anmas, but i have frequently visited cheongnyangni rld several months ago. the thing with me is that i only stick with one girl (pretty sad indeed, but that's just the way i am). we seem to get along really well, maybe cause we are the same age (surprisingly she showed me proof).

however, i regret giving her my number. i haven't told any of my korean friends about this since i'm embarrassed about it even though majority of young korean men go there. but my question is, how bad is it that a rld girl has your mobile phone number?

i'm wondering because i'm afraid of what's going to happen if there's a crackdown. would the police confirep001e all the girls' mobile phones and check all the clients that called/texted them and arrest them or fine them?

over the years of having visited girls working in the rld, particulary miari, dozens of girls have given their numbers as well as haven taken mine. in my opinion, there are two purposes as to why they give and take your number. one reason might be that they genuinely enjoy spending time with you and possibly have a liking to you. however, the second reason is that they're interested in procuring regular clients to pad their salaries.

on another note, i think going to the same girl over and over again is a total waste of your time and money unless you are interested in developing a more "serious" relationship. if the girl is really serious about you, she'll meet you outside of work and you guys would go on "dates" where money is not expected. on three occasions that has happened to me where i've met working girls outside and it was just a regular date that ended with a nice nightcap and no money was expected. however, i did treat them like a girlfriend and we would have a good night out together.

as for concerns about whether or not having your number on a working girls phone has no impact on whether or not you'll get in trouble with the police in my opinion. unless you blatantly text about yourself being a client and the girl is having you as a client, you'd basically have nothing to worry about. how could the police prove that you are a customer and you are her client based on text messages alone? practically impossible.

Even though I would never say it's impossible, it's highly unlikely that the police would go through that kind of trouble to nab a john. I doubt that the circumstantial nature of a text conversation would necessarily lead to some legal trouble when the police could just as easily nab a john who enters into a RLD establishment for P4P. It just doesn't sound practical.

In the case of drugs however, it would be a totally different story.

In the case of fake degrees being sold in Korea, that is also highly unlikely these days as well as being useless since 2007 and the scandals involved with fake degrees; in particular, the case of the supposed Yale University graduate, Shin Jung Ah. Most degrees at established institutions are now checked by an intermediary such as the KCUE.

in most cases, i've only heard of problems with people teaching illegally in korea or dealing drugs which is a big no-no. that will totally get you busted.

forgot to also mention that if you do visit rld establishments, never use your credit card because those records are traceable as well as foolproof evidence that you visited those types of place for p4p.

besides those mentioned above, don't psyche yourself out and stop worrying about those people who are feeding your fears.

I think you're reading way too much into what I'm saying. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that the likelihood of being caught as a "john" for a working girl just having your phone number is almost miniscule. Just someone having your phone number on their phone is no grounds for prosecution.

Of course being cautious is the better choice, but in the case of Abuasian, he's already given out his number. In other words, he can't do anything else about it because it's already been done. So, I'm just trying to let him know that he doesn't have that much to worry about and not become paranoid.

Well, I only gave my example as a frame of reference to reassure Abuasian for something that's already been done. Perhaps you have far more knowledge and 'expertise' about the inner workings of law enforcement and john-busting than I do.

The only times I'd ever heard about john-busting was for customers who had used their credit cards to pay and/or who were entering or already in the establishment when the police raided. If I'm wrong, excuse my ignorance.

Even though I'm one of her regulars, I didn't hesitate, but voluntarily excused myself, because the gracious thing to do seemed to be to let her have the big payday. I wasn't planning on it, but it later turned out to pay off for me too. She called me afterwards and invited me out to dinner and fun.

I will be visiting seoul in couple of months. I will be staying for 7-8 nights, mostly for pleasure. I was looking into hotels in seoul, and I don't want to spend $100 a night. A friend of mind suggest that I look into budget motels in seoul, usually charging $30-$40 a night. I checked out one motel website, and they look incredible for so little. Can anybody suggest a website where I can finds these types of motels? Someone told me they are considered "love motels, " but I don't mind at all.

I must say that the quality of motels is quite good. The rooms are on par with a decent 3-4 star hotel room in a third-world country or better.

Actually, you don't even have to hunt around on websites to look for a reasonably clean and decent motel for as little as 30-40 US dollars a night; especially in Seoul.

Just decide which area you'll be staying around, and sure enough, you'll be able to find budget accommodations that have clean rooms and are reasonably comfortable. Motels are literally everywhere. Generally, for the busy areas (particularly around universities since so many people hang around those areas for partying) the prices will be more expensive; particularly on the weekends. So, if you're lookiing for a reasonable place, don't get one too close too those areas are you'll be unnecessarily paying a little more.

As examples of some areas that are pricier than average are around Shinchon, Hongdae and other big name universities. Besides those areas, rooms will be cheaper. However, on another note, even the rooms around the busy areas won't be so much more expensive except on the weekends when the rooms are (ahem) high occupancy.

The phrase asked about in the original post actually was "cutting time", and it essentially means spending unpaid time with the girl - a problem for the reasons that Z goes on to describe - which actually are often more serious than he suggests.

The mamasans generally are not a real problem. If the girl works in a joint that is really controlled by a mamasan, then she may still be willing to see you outside, depending on her degree of independence from the boss - a function of her status as an earner and/or her indebdtness to the mamasan, if any, and the mamasan's power to enforce, which is generally limited to firing the reclacitrant (which again they are not likely to do in the case of a good earner, whom they are likely to permit to date and even earn on her own outside normal working hours.

In a lot of cases, though, the real party in interest is an organized crime gang, in which case the girl --and, potentially, you -- are at risk for off-premises frolics regardless of the other factors. There also are girls who are sole proprietors or cooperative freelancers -- several of the small bars in the 'ville are run this way -- and the girls will go out with customers, but only rarely on a truly unpaid basis and even then only sometimes, as for the duration of the time they are in the business they will still expect you to pay most of the time because, after all, they are in the game in order to get money, either because of a debt or some plan that they need to save for.

In very rare cases its possible to have a more or less normal relationship with an SP (if any long term romantic relationship with a working girl can be termed "normal"), i.e., you just do the normal male thing of paying for dates, presents, etc., but they are few and far between and generally require a long (and expensive) "courtship" (and an unusual capacity on the part of the punter to tolerate his girl friend servicing other men).

Hi,

I will be traveling for the first time to Korea and will be in the Bundang-gu area on business for 3-4 days.

I have RTFF, extensively, but I don't have a clue with regards this area and if there is any action nearby.

A few questions:

1. Does the Bundang-gu are have any potential for mongering? If so any suggestions on hotel, massage, bars etc greatly appreciated. I obviously speak no Korean and will be on my own

2. If not, I am fairly savvy with navigating in other parts of the world and could probably handle any sort of mass transit, would you have any suggestions as to an area nearby where I should stay to increase my chances for fun, and still be accessible to the Bundang-gu are for work.

I was in Seoul for business and was looking for some action. I stayed at the Imperial Palace hotel and the hotel was excellent in regard to services may a bit flashy. I read through the ISG forums and did not have that much hope. Mainly for two reasons, I’m a foreigner with dark skin and for the second I only was there for two nights. First I read through the forum reports and tried to check out the girls offered by “Brad” in craigslist. I called him he asked for 300k per hour and I told him that I will think and call back.

Long time lurker here. First time poster. Just got back from a nice experience at Belle.

First, the idiot-proof directions (already posted in the forum in a few places, but once more for prosperity doesn't hurt). Take the subway to Gagnam Station, then take Exit #2 and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Prudential building. Be patient! It's a good walk, but not all that far. here's a novel non-p4p option i've just been made aware of in seoul. booking clubs.

If you don't have anything to offer them other than your light banter, they're probably going to bolt. We all know that the whole "wow, foreigners" thing doesn't fly with the younger crowds, too, so you had better have GOOD booze. Bottle prices at these places are ridiculous.

Any time you're in this kind of hookup environment with natives, you're at a disadvantage. You might get a little interest, but they're going to get frustrated with not being able to communicate well. Also, you need to think about the fact that you're at a table in the middle of tables with native Korean guys. In a country where image is everything, a girl doesn't want to look like damaged goods for having chatted it up with the foreigner table.

If you want to go to a booking club, I suggest you go with 3 Korean friends. If you're the only foreigner there, you chance having a better time. Also, rent the room. Always rent the room if you go. The added privacy helps with the self-conscious girls who would otherwise shy from a table of foreigners.

(gwan gwang) and? (sung in) nitghtclubs and the price for a table is around 40, 000 won and you get 2-3 bottles of beer and a plate of fruit. Chances of success are probably pretty low, but it's cheap and could be an interesting experience. FYI any place that is a night or a nightclub will have booking. Nightclubs that are in or next to hotels also might be a good idea.

Otherwise, it's the usual: better hotel bars and clubs (e.g., JJ's at the Hyatt); but - as you know - that's all hit or miss, time-consuming and often as expensive as even the highest-priced P4P spread.

tourist hotels. i don't mean for foreign tourists, i mean for korean tourists when they bus around the country.

they can be found under several different signs (if you read hangeul; they wont be in english): gwan-gwang hotel, gwan-gwang night, or cabaret... basically nightclubs for the over-35 crowd, and often older than that. the cabarets usually have live entertainment for the older crowd (bbong-jak music mostly, or trot) and you can see flyers around town for the cabarets advertising who will be there that week, usually 4-6 different singers.

if the singers advertised are the flavor-of-the-month pop singers in korea, that will be a booking nightclub. if the singers advertised look older and you don't recognize them or their names, that will be a cabaret.

i don't go to the cabarets, mainly because i can't stand bbong-jak music, or trot, but i have had success with the divorcee crowd at a "night". most of the time they approached me, usually in a group, and we let the liquor run wild. end of the night is usually a slamdunk with at least one of them, if that's your game.

the only ones i went to with any regularity were way up in nowon-gu, but that was years ago. there are a bunch of cabarets in the jongro and hongje areas. haven't been to a "night" recently, but they're all over town. you just have to keep your eyes peeled for the (hangeul) signs.

:-) Not likely. I've had a few "older" (40ish) Koreans, and I've been to a cabaret and can even do a fair simulacram of the trot dance, but the women have been too needy, too clingy and needed a lot of high octane prep - all of which are turn-offs for me - not to mention that very, very few qualify for "momja" status. Hence, my not having mentioned this option before myself; I guess I need to get beyond my own predilictions in order to be the perfect contributor. LOL.

Just a quick question on getting checked up on STDs. This will be the first time I will be getting checked up. I'm just wondering, but when is the best time to get checked up on STDs after sex (at a RLD of course).

I heard about the International Clinic at Itaewon and thought I should check out. Although I'm Korean American and a bit fluent with the language, I'm more comfortable with English.

I checked the website and I'm clueless on the STD screening. There's something with STD panels 1-7, consisted of Panels 1 & 2, Premarital & Preintimate screening, and Noninvasive screening. Which one am I suppose to choose? I just wanna get checked for every STDs and HIV.

Also, how long does it take for me to get the results back?

Just a quick question on getting checked up on STDs.

Just make an appointment and when you see Dr. Kim, who's a good guy, straight shooter, tell him you want std screening. If you don't want to reveal the real reason, just say it's in connection with your upcoming first time with your fiance. HIV and syphilis testing means getting blood drawn. You probably don't really need to have anything else checked unless it's been more than a week since your last outing and you've got the "drips" - and he'll probably tell you that - but if you want to go ahead anyway, just say the girlfriend wants the full cleveland. That means you'll also have to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) in the bottle so they can test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, staph, e-coli, etc. Turn around time is usually a week - although it can be done faster if you DO have an immediate problem, and you can get a prescription to control the most common suspects pending outcome of the tests and possible re-prescription in case you've got something unusual/really nasty. In the latter case, especially, the pharmacy of choice is the one just on the right in the first alley to the right as you go up the street between the fire station and the Dunkin donuts off which hooker hill proper is the firstalley to the left. Not every pharmacy carries all the latest and greatest; they do.

Some updates on places regularly visited by forum members: additional comments welcome.

Belle. Seems busier than ever. If you go at peak times it is often full. But, I have noticed quality of girls has deteriorated and they are definitely shortening time to increase turnover. No, it's not like the RLDs; yes they are clubs/bars. Walk in, see if the looks are interesting. If not, walk. If so, and you don't already know them have a drink and a little talk to see if you're on the same wavelength. The girl will ask you to buy her a "lady drink" (KRW20,000). You don't have to, but doing so generally gets you at least a little good will; don't fall into the trap of buying one after another though; instead decide while she's on the first one if you want to close the deal and start talking about the all-in price. Depending on the girl, they will start off asking anywhere from 200,000-400,00, usually . Some will negotiate; a couple (usually at the high end) will not, unless they are having a slow night or really need the dosh. I headed out to Miari last week with Seoulstice. I've not been there for a year or so. I started going to Yongsan RLD during my visits since it is closer to town where I stay.

If my memory serves, it seems that a few years ago the hit rate in Miari was close to 40% accepting foreigners. This time, I would say it was less than 20%. We did manage to have good sessions in spite of the lower acceptance rate. I found the quality of girls that accept foreigners in Miari is far better than I find in Yongsan RLD. In case people missed it, I wrote my report on visiting Hooker Hill for the first time. I got rejected at the Apple and took a glimpse of VIP. If anyone is interested, then feel free to scroll down and read it because I'm really curious as to why I got rejected at the Apple. I think the fact that I'm Asian (half Japanese half Korean) puts me at a disadvantage at Hooker Hill.

It's unclear that you got "rejected" at Apple. From your account, it seems possible that Mamasan/Papasan were simply letting you know they had no one available to service you. Inna is a notorious alcoholic, and may have been on 'hiatus", as the say. And as far as I know, there are no other SPs @ Apple nowadays.

Anyway, fall down three times, get up four. If you really want to check out Inna - and for your goal of titty fucking, she's a very good bet and one that can be had at a reasonable price and with whom one can have a lot of fun (provided she's reasonably sober) - then just go back and see if she's available.

As for the other issue, I think it's mostly in your own head. If you can pass as Japanese, especially, you shouldn't have any trouble at all on the Hill. Many of the girls prefer the Japanese even to Caucasians because, apparently, they are easier to satisfy, generally pay a whole lot more and, if not exactly more polite, are a lot less aggressive than most of us Big Noses. Most of them are very wary of local, native Koreans - and Western kyopos -- though, so it's generally a good idea to disabuse them of the perception that you are by speaking English or in your case Japanese (to get across the idea that you're not another local Korean or Western Kyopo.)

Note, though, that even in that situation, if you make it clear that you're there to pay to play, the girls will usually immediately shift their attention to you, unless the guys are regulars or they otherwise have reason to believe that they will be reaching for their wallets soon too.

Otherwise, you are not at any more of a disadvantage than anyone else, as long as you're willing to spend money. Some guys will get a lot of easy action because they deliberately spend a lot of money for it, or let their little head make the decisions - and they sometimes may even get at least a simulacrum of what they want but, truth be told, they are not "respected" by the most of the girls for anything except their propensity to think with the little head and don't really get any seriously special treatment, except getting moved to the head of the service line if demand is high. Soo-Ae at Peach Phuzz, e.g., is like this - unless she's had a really bad week or two or three or unless she really likes you for some reason, she's not likely to come off her relatively high price (and in either case, you shouldn't necessarily expect similar treatment the next time around; she will always try to get you back up to her preferred price point. She's also generally very polite, although she can get testy if she's tired or a punter is an aggressive economizer.

(BTW, if you are willing to spend somewhere between 200-300K, Soo-Ae @ Peach Phuzz may be a good bet for you; and, if you really just want a titfuck, and make that clear upfront when settling a price, she may be willing to lower the fee significantly.)

The point is there is something acceptable and even more than acceptable, even at economy prices, for almost everyone on the Hill. As Seoulstice advised you in his comment, it just takes a willingness to shop around and hold fire until you find something you want in your price range.

It was ad hoc. I was out with a small group on the prowl. One guy wanted to stop in his favorite bar on the Hill -- one of the larger ones, size-wise --, and one thing led to another. Another RLD that accepts foreigners is the B-row windows in the alleyways of Yongsan, where the old beat-up looking ladies are. The A-row with the young beautiful girls do NOT accept foreigners. Outside of Seoul, you can also check out the B-row windows of the RLD in Suwon as they accept foreigners too. I wouldn't recommend using the taxi to get there since the RLDs are nearby the subway stations.Last time I went to miari it was really depressing. All the windows have thick curtains covering them and most of the houses are closed. The ajumas are super pushy and try to drag you into the nearest place before the cops come by. I think a developer wants to turn the area into another block of shopping malls and apartment buildings. I doubt its any more foreigner friendly than yongsan. Probably less so.

I can't imagine this is true. That would eliminate 99% of their potential customers.Some girls ask a series of questions before letting you in. Condom? You drunk? Etc. But others don't care. My sense from talking to some of the girls is that business has been way off lately as a result of the cold weather and the season - a lot of the regular punters are off on home leave/holidays in December/January -- so the clubs open quite late, if they open at all (something they may not do early in the week)

Dunno about the squad car - it likely had more to do with the local knuckleheads at the newly refurbished and Koreanized King Club - but I'll ask my sources now that I'm back in Seoul. Spent a while with the Fillies in Cebu. :)

This is just my opinion, but I'm thinking they're not necessarily making a foreigner pay up front solely because they're being prejudiced. It is possible that they might have had other foreigners visit. Then, when it came time to pay the bill, the foreigners might have complained because they didn't expect such a big bill and it was a headache sorting things out?... possibly

The other possibility is that some people (and it would be quite easy to do if you set your mind to it) skip out on their bill by sneaking out of the room separately. Anyone could potentially do that. But, in the case of foreigners, they really got nothing to lose because they don't need to go back. It might sound like prejudice, but so many people do crazy stuff when they're not in their home country.

Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but went to a fabulous RS called "Soprano". It is located in the Ramada Hotel in Samseong-dong, Gangnam. I was invited as a guest by local businessmen... so the usual heavy drinking with FS afterwards. The quality of water was fabulous (ie lots of very pretty faces and few with great realistic silicone implants)! But, more importantly, great attitude with almost anything available in and out of the room - touching, kissing, teasing, tickling, etc.

We had a great time. I don't know the exact cost as I was the guest, but a discreet question later suggests about USD $600 per person. As far as I could tell, this is for one shot! Plus 3 hours of drinking.

Way too much for my taste, but worth it when someone else is paying...

The dude was very matter of fact about it. The ladies could go in, but because I was a foreigner I couldn't. He actually expected that the ladies would leave me behind and go inside without me. Wrong. We left together and had a great time in the club right next door.

Not sure what type of provider you are looking for. Not a provider, but some general hint:
There are tons of expat white chicks, tons of frustrated female teachers and the female expats coming to this countries from several white countries. You answer yourself the obvious. A police car parked at the hill will bring business down to some drinks at the max. Usually 4.00h am is a good time at wekends for business, but not necessarily at weekdays, at least not cold weekdays. But there are some none provider bars as well, so going there doesn't make you suspicious.

Those are the B and C rows. I think there are about 3 or 4 alleyways where the B and C rows are. And yes, they are windows like the A-rows, except the quality of girls aren't so great and majority of them are old ladies. I did find about 3 or 4 girls that were pretty good-looking recently though.
