I am going to travel to Korea for a few days for work and was wondering if someone has any sort of guide as to what the game is like in Korea. I don't speak Korean. Is there a guide anywhere as to how things work?

In my opinion as a local, it is a bit expensive.
I never used BP, but often go to officetel, and as someone wrote, I pay about 130 k 180 k. So 200 k is 'a bit' expensive but not really much, compare to locals.
For most of non-Korean speaking foreigners, officetel should be a hard choice.
I think MP can be your good option. It also charges like 180 k or more. And if you don't speak Korean, they may charge a bit more.
In general, girls in MP are a bit older than officetel, but they provide great service. For example, almost all MP girls provide a-level.
And you can sleep in that MP, and it may provide your meal either if you want.
An easy way to find MP is, watching signs "50504;47560;.
You go in and if you find it a but luxurious, then it probably provides full service.
Because I've never thought about mongering for foreigner, I cannot give you any more information for now.

I've been living in Seoul for the past 15 years and prices have gone up through the roof but service quality is at an all-time low. Korean pimps are aware that Seoul's mongering scene is complicated and frustrating for foreigners. They know incall parlors ban non-Koreans and the worst part is. These agencies on B. P. are also the same incall parlors that will refuse service to a non-Korean, get them desperate and then charge them a way inflated rate as an outcall.
If you're like me and live here, just wait it out and hope for the best. I have one place that I go to and have been going to for almost 3 years. The managers all know me, know that I am a trusted regular and never give me any hassle. Even when they get a new girl, the manager tells her to treat me as a normal Korean customer. Even better. Well, for the 2nd time I tried Bohemian considering all of the good reviews. Both of the experiences were pretty boring and lackluster. The girls were cute, but not *that* cute for the price. Apparently went from the booking agent / driver to the manager / owner (not sure which). Once you moved up to working with the manager you actually got access to more girls. You have to register to enter the site though and so you would need a knowledge of reading Korean or have someone who speaks Korean sign up for you.
The girls are referred to as "managers" and you can see their profiles. I didn't look too carefully around, but it seems that the website is for just one establishment and the location is near the Hongdae subway station. The location of the place is on the side where the Outback Steakhouse is located and so many people don't go to that main side of the street as opposed to the regular Hongdae streets that have all the restaurants and clubs.

Then things got interesting. She asked what time I wanted to make an appointment. I told her and she said that in order to make an appointment, I needed to transfer 100,000 KRW to an account as a deposit. The other 50,000 KRW would be payable in cash at the appointment. Bank transfer is the norm here for moving money, so that method isn't weird, but I got a little nervous about my personal details being attached to this payment and told her as much. I said I would prefer to pay it all in cash and she said the deposit is necessary to make the appointment and that she would send me the shop location after receiving the transfer.

If I remember correctly there are six shower heads so just find one that isn't occupied. They each have pump bottles for shampoo, body wash, and a can of shaving cream. I was in Seoul for work meetings in September, my second time in Korea but the first time with mongering on the agenda. There are two main types of independent escorts in Korea, those that cater to locals and those that cater to foreigners / tourists.
In any market, the foreigner / tourist prices will always be higher because the seller knows you don't know any better. You are essentially paying what I call "inexperience tax", what others like to call foreigner tax.
Escorts and agencies that cater to foreigners know you can't navigate the Korean scene that well, especially if you don't speak Korean. Even if you can speak Korean, not every hooker will want to service the foreigner. These agencies and escorts take advantage of that and maximize their opportunity to empty your wallet while doing as little as possible.
Officetels are cheaper because they have to compete with each other for clients. Foreign-catered agencies and independents are expensive because they don't have that much competition. There are only about 5 legit foreigner-centered independents that openly advertise in Korea, if we add the ones that appear and disappear every now and then, the number jumps to 10, maybe 15.
So 15 independents max + 5 agencies max, for hundreds or even thousands of horny foreign mongerers and tourists = little incentive to offer competitive rates or services.

Officetel girls are going to be very, very difficult if you have no Korean language ability. You can find listings through various websites. I'm not sure about the rules of posting them here, but PM me and I can send you a link. Everything is in Korean, but with some Google translating you can probably figure it out enough to get the phone number and call. You'll get rejected most of the time, but you might get lucky and have a manager accept a foreign customer if you make enough inquiries. Your best bet, though, is to find a Korean friend to assist you with booking, though many still might not accept you if you're foreign.
