Hello everyone,
I've been searching through the forum now for about 3 hours (haha! - and I've found posts about people going to lip cafes and quick mentions of the sites that they use, but for the life of me I can't find any of the actual websites.
When I do a google search for "lip cafe" I get hits that are unrelated to what I'm looking for.
Anyhow, quick backstory, I used to go to this one place in gangnam (which I referred to as the "delicious house") but it has since been moved. I know that these places move around quite frequently so I wanted to have access to the sites where they post their ads so I can keep up to date.
Posting the website for these services on an open forum like this probably isn't the smartest thing to do for discretionary purposes but I'd be forever grateful for someone to send me a PM with the web addresses that people are using now for lip cafes.
Any help is appreciated.

Slow.You've got to do the google search in hangul, plenty of results will show up. The sites that come to mind are abam, bamwar and bamking (bam means night in Korean). You can search for those in English. Google will give you twitter results. The twitter pages have the latest url for the sites.
Sites are all in Korean. You'll need to sign up in order to see numbers etc.

Lips cafes and kiss bangs are two different things. Lip cafes are blowjob joints. You typically have to call and book an appointment and then they tell you the location. Kiss Bangs are more or less just what they sound like. You pay for a certain amount of time and get to talk with, kiss, and feel up the girl you get. Sometimes, depending on the girl, you may get more out of the deal.

So, very unusual for me to be in Asia over the holidays but this year too much back-to-back business in Japan, Korea and China so just decided to stay this year rather than flying back and forth to the east coast. So I had / am having an interesting experience and I want to find out if anyone has encountered anything similar. Here's the story:
Over the past few days, I somehow got the KakaoTalk ID of a "girl" who I'm guessing is actually a shop manager or pimp. I can't recall where I got it (either a Korean website or a social app, but I've been digging around a lot recently and just can't recall where this one came from). In Korean, I sent a message to this account just saying Hello,. After some pleasantries, she asked if I wanted to meet. I said yes. She then laid out the following: 150,000 KRW for 3 hours with two shots or 300,000 for 10 hours overnight (didn't ask how many times because I'm not interested in 10 hours). At this point I asked for and received a couple of other photos. I also confirmed that foreigners are accepted. I can read and write Korean a lot better than I speak, so I didn't want it to be a surprise when I showed up and sounded like a doofus.
Then things got interesting. She asked what time I wanted to make an appointment. I told her and she said that in order to make an appointment, I needed to transfer 100,000 KRW to an account as a deposit. The other 50,000 KRW would be payable in cash at the appointment. Bank transfer is the norm here for moving money, so that method isn't weird, but I got a little nervous about my personal details being attached to this payment and told her as much. I said I would prefer to pay it all in cash and she said the deposit is necessary to make the appointment and that she would send me the shop location after receiving the transfer.
Has anyone encountered anything like this before? I'm not so much worried about risking the 100,000 KRW on a scam as I am on it potentially being LE.This is bit of an old post, but just to help anyone who may read this, this is just about the most common scam run on call girls in Korea. They are not LE, but once you send them money, you will neither see the girl or the money ever again. NEVER, NEVER send money in advance. This is likely being run by the Korean speaking Chinese in Korea.

The last time I was there was back in 2011. I had fun in the RLD in the 588. Most of the Korean girls wouldn't allow me because I was a foreigner. Well, her problem was that we was over-plastic. Hard to explain, but you know when you see some Korean girls who had "too much" of surgery feeling?

Someone I knew ended up in Apple not long ago. He was drunk, and is a blackout drunk. When he came to, he was in handcuffs in the police station, under arrest for sexual assault. This had all the makings of a simple shake-down, but things went south very quickly. I counted 5 booths that were active (ie not demolished or slated for demolish.) Even the Lotte Department Store is either being demolished or undergoing a major renovation. The whole area seems to be undergoing a major uplift.
Anyways. Of the three that had girls in when I went, two offered. One was 140,000 won and the other the normal price. The more expensive was what I would call your typical pretty agashi, but I wasn't going to pay that.
Anyways, went the cheap route, got ok sevice, but got what I wanted.

Being Asian (not Korean though), I've never been refused at 588 so I would expect about the same at Cheonho. Once at 588 I was asked where I was from but only after I asked the girl as she didn't seem Korean to me.
I've never been to Cheonho as I usually stay in Myeongdong, thus making the journey far, but this time I will stay South of river since 588 is no more. I have a ticket bought already if I cancel I'll just lose the change fee which doesn't bother me much.

I've talked about a place or two in the past in this forum.
I currently go to two Thai places in Gangnam that give a legitimately good massages, and, depending on the girl, have happy endings either oral or hand (mostly oral). Both of them have have a hodge podge of different quality Thai ladies, but a few of the really hot ones do it for an extra 50,000 won. The massages themselves are also pretty cheap (40,000 for an hour of aroma).
I am hesitant to give out the names of these places because I feel I kind of earned knowing about them. Through multiple sessions, I summoned up the courage to flash a 50 k Won note and request for the happy ending. Sometimes I was denied, but sometimes I was rewarded. Rookie.Anma. Well that is fine if you want to pay premium price for largely mechanical service. For me, it is not a comfortable environment.
As for the RLDs. Miari is still alive and well. Probably the best place, and has been for a long time. Wide selection, and depending on what you want, lots of variety. It does help to speak Korean, but it isn't necessary. Will run you less than an Anma, and most of them give good service.
And of course, Hooker Hill in Itaewon is alive and well. It is a dirtier environment, as there are less locations and typically service more people on average. But still, their English ability is top notch, and they are well adept at servicing foreigners.

I would not make a special trip out to that area as when I was there about a month ago, about 3/4 of the shops were not in operation and I went on a Friday at 11 pm-ish. However, the RLD is right next to the Times Square Mall. If you're there for a movie or something it's worth taking a look.

Rookie.Anmas are a roll of the dice. Sometimes you'll score and sometimes you'll get the most robotic, color-by-number routine.
I think something to consider is how much you are open to exploring. If you like to be on the easy, safe side, your best option is a well established anmas such as Eve, Ace or Fish. They're well lit, clean and honest. However, you will pay for it. You can't expect the best service but you can at least count on getting service. Plan to spend around 250,000 for one hour.
Another good place (already recommended) is Texas Miari RLD. You will find service here.
However, if you're a bit more of an adventurer, a place to try your luck as a foreigner is the Seolleung Station area (Green Line #2). Seolleung is gangnam's finance district and foreigners are a very common sight. There is no RLD per say but the streets behind exits 5 and 1 are a good place to check out. There are many small anmas that you can walk into and on weeknights (after 10 pm). These places can be harder to spot and often operate on one or two floors of a building. Be mindful, however, that many of their signs will not advertise that they are an Anma. Many will just have their name, such as "Apple" or "Eye. " If it's a simple sign with just a one-word name, chances are, it's an anma.
There are also guys on the street (called "Pickings") who may approach you and ask if you're looking for a girl. Competition is high in this area so the chances that one establishment will take a foreigner is decent if you just take the time to shop around. If you strike out, no problem, Fish Anma is just one block north and Hera Anma is one block west ($5 taxi ride).
Another area to check out is the Nambu Bus Terminal (Orange Line #3) area. The streets behind exits 9 and 10 will have a lot of bars, singing rooms and of course, anmas. My best advice is to look for an anma that has one of those portable, inflatable sidewalk signs outside with Japanese writing. This is a clear indication that they are not a "Korean only" establishment.
Although some may disagree, I always advise friends who visit to wear a suit while punting in Korea (not in Itaewon of course). It can make a huge difference if you're trying for a place that normally services Koreans.
Officetels without the ability to speak Korea is really tough. Most will just hang up on you.
As far as those boutique places with the BMW pick up (known as room salons), I liked them. However, I went with groups of Koreans. There are a lot in the Sinsa / Apgujeong Station area. But, if you're going solo, I would humbly advise that you pass. Imagine paying to get into a VIP room at a night club, but you're alone with a girl that you just met, who may or may not speak English. Yeah, it's much more entertaining to be with friends.
I used to be very active giving advice but honestly, Seoul is not what it used to be 17 years ago. The service has really gone down and the prices have skyrocketed. I hate to repeat the bad news, but YMMV really, and I mean really matters in Seoul. Nothing is close to a sure bet here.

Gangnam stn. Out exit 9. Walk straight until first alley (not the street immediately right of the exit but first actual alley). Keep walking until the alley ends (you will have crossed 2 streets). The street ends at a run down hotel.
Look up at the building across from the hotel and you will see a business that has the word "Lip" in it.

Well, been here in Seoul for some time now and figured I put in some reviews of my own.

Based on your post, for a first time visitor, would suggest flying from Seoul to Manila and staying a few days in Makati (half hour to an hour, depending on traffic, taxi ride from Manila airport). Make sure the taxi meter is turned on when you start.
After a few days, proceed onward to Angeles (about 2 hours away by taxi or car, flat rate around 3,000 pesos or a bit less) for a few days. You can then see which place you like better and allocate your remaining time accordingly.

After another 150 meters turned left to cross the road. At this point I was facing the RLD. Kept walking on the short road and at the end of 50 meters I could see the entrance. I could faintly see the areas was lit with bright pink / blue lights pouring from some "shops" and concluded that his must be the RLD. Sure at the entrance there was an elderly man sitting, I presume to ward off adolescent and such.

The road was well lit with multi colored lights pouring in from inside of the houses. All the rooms were very well lit. Made me feel I had entered a 70's movie set. Each place had 3-5 ladies sitting there like K-Pop stars. As the mamasans started approaching me, I freaked out again. I was not ready for this kind of flood and started walking briskly. My nerves acting up again. But I did try to take a quick glance inside the windows at most of the girls. However, 20%-50% of mamasans will not approach you no matter what. Don't lose hope there are plenty of fish in the sea. Plenty and I really mean plenty.
All in all I would say I didn't like the concept of Cheonho so much as I am somewhat shy natured. Having dozens of ladies looking at me and half a dozen mamasans calling me gave me the nervous. I liked the private sort of concept they have in Miari. Okay, so I've been in Korea now for the past 3 months for a project and it definitely took me awhile, but I think I got the hang of it. It took a lot of research (thanks to everyone here), but I managed to get a general understanding of it works.
On BP there's a handful of agencies that offer kgirl experience outcalls. About $220. In Korean won, it's about 250 K. Only issue is that it's one shot per hour If you're nice to the booker, they'll usually give you the okay for an another shot for a little extra. If you're a one shot guy, then it's all good. " to the front of it, it works every time, both comp and mobile. It's really weird how the censorship works. Like if I go directly to xvideos.com, then I get the censor page. J.1) Don't trust BP. A lot of those girls that claim to be independent are part of an agency / referral service and more than likely the pics will be fake. I'm not sure about the one's that are holding cards with their email address in them. The ads that say they are an agency might be a bit more trustworthy, especially if they have their own website. There was a recently a discussion about which agencies are most dependable so just do a quick skim.
2) Just like any other country, if you're a tourist, you're going to get tourist prices. Just know that negotiating prices are okay, as long as you're not rude about it.
3) LE can care less. Just use common sense.
4) As a foreigner, BP and massage republic will be your best bet. I'm sure there's more for foreigners, but I don't know them. If you can speak / read / write in Korean, then I suggest adal4.com. That's probably the most comprehensive website with regards to oficetels, anmas, kiss bangs, lip cafes, all the different types of salons, etc.

A number of previous posts mention the different rows in Cheonho and Miari. I've attached (again) maps of the two RLDs from screenshots I made.
1) For Cheonho, am I correct to say that the green line is the A-row, the cyan line is the be-row, and the magenta line is the see-row? Someone also mentioned a T-row. Where would that be?

I would not make a special trip out to that area as when I was there about a month ago, about 3/4 of the shops were not in operation and I went on a Friday at 11 pm-ish. However, the RLD is right next to the Times Square Mall. If you're there for a movie or something it's worth taking a look.

Area 1: Between Gangnam Gu Station and Hakdong you will find a he massage every block or so. And 5 anmas I noticed including the famous ones like Ace and Fish.
