Update on a couple of well know shops.
For those who like handjobs then Jinju and Belle work just fine.
Visited both today. Both have easy access. You have to post 3 or 4 ads in different areas, and when the girls respond, immediately ask them for an e-mail address or Kakao, or other. Difficult to impossible to pick up girls, unless you know Korean. No go go bars that I could find, it is probably alien to their culture. This is not as touristy as BKK / Jakarta / Manila.
Itaewon was the most "foreigner friendly" place. Most places speak decent English, decent amount of foreigners on the street, if nothing you can get into an Irish pub and crib about Korean girls over a mug of Guinness.

So I made a review here about a year back with a MR girl I had a good time with. Probably overpaid, but I think given the circumstances (time crunch, very basic Korean skills, little to no time to research ahead of time, in a country I wasn't very familiar with) I still think I made the right choice. Some background, I am of partial Korean (full Asian) descent, just speak very poorly. Probably around kindergarten level. Wasn't sure if I'd be charged the foreigner rate or the normal rate. Was pretty sure I wouldn't be turned down either way since another post here said when they're slow they let anyone in.
I paid the normal non-foreigner rate even with my poor Korean. Their CC machine didn't work, and they were hesitant to take dollars even though their site said they accept foreign currency, so there were some issues there but they got sorted out. I had wanted 2 shots, but they didn't really offer the option and I didn't know how to say what I wanted in Korean to the front desk lady who didn't speak a lot of English. They did give me the club vs regular option. I'd seen some stuff about "club" in other posts but wasn't sure what it was fully so just to be safe, I chose the regular option. After talking to my provider about it later on, I regret doing that, and will be looking to try the club whenever I'm in town next time, assuming the industry hasn't changed too much and the same formats still exist for people like myself.
Anyways, after paying, I was led to a room via an attractive female attendant. Was really hoping she'd be my provider but she just asked me what I liked (skinny, young, no fake boobs, English skills). After a self shower and change into robes, I was taken downstairs to one of the rooms. My provider was waiting at the bottom. I never actually caught her name at any point in the process though.
She wasn't particularly skinny. Maybe by US standards she'd qualify but that wasn't really what I meant by skinny. Also she didn't seem super young. Maybe early 30's or so? Which was a bit concerning to me, since I'd paid approx what I'd have paid in the states for around the similar type of provider appearance-wise. Not that she was un-attractive by any means, but I'd been yelled at on these boards last year for apparently paying too much when supposedly better options existed at lesser values, so my expectations were very high.
After a short conversation and a quick smoke (another negative for me), we got started. Now I will say here. I've been in the hobby for quite a while, and her mic skills were honestly ridiculous. I thought I'd experienced peak tongue twister skills in this field already, but I was quickly proven wrong. After that, she slipped on a cover and we hit a few different positions. Given that I only had 1 shot, I was trying my best to hold out as long as possible but my god her kegel skills were absurd. I'd try to take a break and slow down every few minutes to last, but she'd literally squeeze so hard in those interludes that it actually made things worse for lasting. So unfortunately didn't last as long as I hoped.
Afterwards, we hung out on the bed and talked a lot. Some of the things she talked about made it seem pretty clear she's in her 30's. She also described in details what goes down in the "club" which really made me regret not choosing that option. Anyways, cleaned up, got my things, and left shortly after.
All-in-all, it was a good experience, and I'll probably be back whenever I find myself back in Seoul again. But with all the hype I'd heard, it didn't fully live up to it. In terms of physical appearance, the provider was maybe only slightly better than the providers I can see in the states for the same price range (and in fact my provider hinted at having done tours in North America already). While her skills were definitely top tier, I don't know if I can generalize and attribute that to the Korean scene as a whole, its probably more a YMMV provider specific thing I feel like. I think if I had chosen the "club" experience though, it would have probably been a different story, especially considering I don't believe it costs any more than the regular fee. Definitely would have been worth it at that point I think.
Next time I'm around though, I'd really like to try out officetels. Seems like the consensus is you get better GFE, more services on the table, and younger / better looking providers at a lower price, right? But given everyone says speaking Korean is a must for that, I don't know if I'll be able to make that work. I guess I should start practicing.

Anything that offers full service with Koreans is notoriously hard to get into for westerners. Put simply Korean men do not want to see foreign guys with their women.
Each establishment is different; for geonmas, lip cafes, hugaetels, the foyer, lounge and shower room offer ample chance for customers to by pass each other, the establishments can get a really bad name with their clientel if they are seen to be accepting foreign customers.
L speak Korean (TOPIK level 4, old system) and flat out get rejected when l ring up full saloons, shirt rooms, anmas and OPs. Language is not an issue. Some anmas will play ball with you if you go during unsociable hours and agree to pay the foreigner surcharge. Ones that play ball always go the same way: size, nationality, surcharge.
Also, where are you getting this info that ops are "on the way out"? There are plenty of them LOL and loads of Korean girls working at them if their adverts are anything to believe.

Hope I'm not breaking any rules but follow up on my own previous post. I've gotten a fair amount of responses from my CL ads from Korean, Filipina, and euro girls looking for short term sponsorship. Anywhere from 150-225 k an hour. Not cheap but also not as high as foreigners at anmas.
For the experienced Seoul guys, what are the chances these responses and conversations are some sort of sting op from Korean law enforcement? Maybe that's crazy but would seem like an easy way to bust businessmen and travellers no?

Get the message out, stay clear of Massage Republic, like Rainmania and others have warned. The women l have met there would get the graveyard shift at a Geonma (massage shop) but nothing else.

LOL, I had the exact same experience at Goldfish Anma.
I skirted around the parking dude but got shot down right away as soon as I got out of the elevator at the front desk. I decided I didn't want to. Bother even trying Ga-in which was close by but seems even more exclusive. Made my way to castle anma (see experience in my below post). CL posts definitely the way to go in Seoul for a white dude.

A bit late in posting due to the holidays and travel plan but figured it was better late than never.
Went to Donuts in early Dec on a Friday afternoon. Direction on the site (donuts anma dot com) was a bit wrong. You're supposed to turn right at Step 4, not left. Took some time finding it. Being an Asian foreigner (not korean), I had no issue going in. Paid for 2 shots club experience, gave my SP preferences and was guided to the shower room.
After shower (solo shower), they came to get me once they're ready and was guided to an elevator. Got greeted by two lovely ladies in the elevator (later found out one of them was my SP) and the action immediately started. I personally liked the other one more but my SP was still cute and pretty enough. Got off at a floor and got greeted by 2 additional ladies. Not sure if it was due to the 2 shot club experience I selected but the 4 ladies was all over me, my SP got down and gave a covered BJ. Later on got me to penetrate (while the other 3 was still over me) and got me to finish up a shot there. The same SP then took me to her room to shower again and then proceeded with the massage (even got a face mask applied), catbath, nuru massage, BBBJ and then CFS. Been cruising opstar in prep for my trip to Korea soon to do some scouting. Although I can read Korean, so many terms and abbreviations I don't know at all. Makes it really difficult.
In any case, really hoping to try to score some BBFS if at all possible. Its not something I can easily partake in over in the states with a provider, unless its with someone really busted or old.
If the ad in opstar doesn't specifically have a notice warning against no-con, can you assume it offers BBFS options, even if it doesn't specifically say something regarding extra fees for natural or whatever? Is it common to be able to get BBFS services from attractive providers in Seoul, or am I going to run into the same issue as the states, where the only providers willing to do it are usually 40-50+ and have been in the industry for decades, or addicts who are falling apart and a large health or safety risk?

I live in Korea, about an hour south of Seoul. I am a white foreigner but I do speak basic Korean and can talk enough to ask things. Not enough to hold a full conversation. And knowing Korean will honestly help a ton.
I have tried MR but either everyone is expensive as heck or just not really worth the time. Like I could fly to Japan, hit up a soapland and come back and still have money in my pocket.
I have used op10 when it was still that low of a number and browsed anma's (my favorite) and texted a bunch in my area. I texted in Korean, but I bet you could just use a translator. I say Hello, are foreigners OK. And I either don't get a response or they say yes but add a small fee for being a foreigner. Now again this is outside of Seoul, so the rates are cheaper. Plus If you say you have cash, you have a slightly better chance of getting an even lower price. At least with my experience I have. I have never tried anything other than anmas or massage places, as I just don't really care for it. But one downside is, you may not always know who you are getting. Also they sometimes smoke like crazy, so you will leave smelling like smoke.
Also if you are satisfied not getting FS you can always try Thai massage places. Some will give extra service for fairly cheap but not necessarily FS. Granted I have only been to these in Seoul when I had time at work, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was true for most places.
Your mileage may vary, but I have had good luck in the town I live in. Sadly Korea is not very foreigner friendly and you generally need to put some effort in and research. RLD's are really the only "easy" place to go with little to no research.
Craigslist is also an option, but most people I have come in contact with either ask for 500 k and also unreasonable or are also foreigners.

So I've been using craigslist to post messages and get some responses. Sometimes you get trolled. This troll made a mistake. A woman named Jennifer Conrod sent me a message through CL mail relay. When they do that, whatever name they have in their e-mail apparently gets sent to me, as it happens all of the time -- not sure they are aware of it. My ad was pretty innocuous, but obvious as to what I was looking for, to anyone with half a brain. She responded twice, saying, "I'm interested" to one of my ads, then "I'm very interested!" to another. I responded asking if she had a photo or an instagram or something. She sent me back two messages, an hour apart, in the middle of the night. Here's where it gets funny -- her first message was a tiny square accidentally right-clicked and saved from her mail page. It was very small, so hard to read. I will post it here. I am convinced it was an accidental send. It shows her university mail system (St. Thomas University in Canada) and her name, along with a partial message header and response from another guy who looks to be answering her. If you can't read it, the subject is, "I'll go to jail. " And the response from the guy who wrote her was, "Are you happy? That's what you exactly want. " So I received this, and it looked to me like she was a troll who accidentally outed herself. I also go a response from my other message, from the same woman, an hour later. She sent a photo of an Asian girl who I am not sure is actually her, so I won't post it. I FB searched the name and got a hit on a fat blonde white chick from Canada who has an English degree. I highly suspect she's an English teacher who is or was in Korea, and is trolling. A google search revealed a bit more, albeit confusing. I got another picture of the same girl as in the Asian photo this Jennifer sent to me, attached to an anti-Trump petition. Haha. Facebook does not have this Asian girl, but shows the fat white English Teacher chick. So I think she may be parading around as a fake Asian (possibly) and trolling people, but actually is a fat white English teacher from Canada.
Anyway, you might want to be careful with some of these CL responses. I've also learned not to respond with what I really want, right away. I try to wait a day and gather several responses. Some people are just trolling and want to know what you want, then will report you and get your ad removed. Waiting longer allows it to stay up longer.

Since I am locked down due to Covid-19, I have time to read up ISG reports of the many countries / cities I regularly travel to. I have read 32 pages of the Seoul thread, as well as the "Other Areas" thread. I have visited S. Korea several times, the last time in 2015 when I also visited Busan (the RLD there was awesome). I go to Southeast Asia 2-3 times every year. BTW, I am Asian-American.
My first observation after reading: Why are some many of you, the best contributors to the thread, still regular members of ISG? You are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for an hour session. Can't you pay $20? You will be more valuable if you have PM capability. You will also financially help to support this wonderful website which is so valuable to us.

I am one of the guys on CL (I know there are others, based on ads) trying to get action there. It's far worse than it was a year ago. The responses have been flaky.
I'm not into large or really large, which cut out 2/3 of the ladies working off of there. One was a huge, and I mean huge, black woman who had forearms thicker than my neck. No thanks. Another looked promising, but all I saw was her face -- a Latina who gave me her Kakao. She was really weird, and would send me a message wanting to set up a time, then not answer for half a day. I kept asking her for more of a pic than her face, or some very blurry distant photo that didn't show her true size, but she'd stop talking for half a day again, then suddenly message again and ignore that I'd asked for a photo. Another lady was also large, and not my type. She was from Egypt. She sent photos. Otherwise, I just heard from people who either didn't get what I was asking for (you can't be too direct with CL posts, or they get blocked). One lady looked like Howard Stern (I'm not kidding) but had a good body. I checked her FB page, based on her name, and she was really religious. She was kind of dense, and just didn't get it what I was looking for. When I finally told her, she was in shock (haha). One of my ads asked for sponsorship. Try the Korean love hotels. Long back on a visit to South Korea had requested my principals to put me up at a much more livelier place than one arranged at a 5 star just outside city premises, in Taegu. These love hotels are there all over the country, and the ones manning the front desks are obliged to not even look at the faces of the guests. Just go, pay up through a small enclosure, receive keys from that gap only, and hightail with your companion to the room number allotted. I had stayed as a regular guest for 4 nights for the kink value! Yep, language issue had prevented any 'scoring'. Took a gander around Cheonho for the first time, this week.
It seems I missed it? Is it almost entirely gone now? Per websites, I see it was located behind the 2001 outlet, but most of that entire area has been ripped-out for a new apartment. Funman13.South Korea isn't Thailand or the Philippines. The country has a functioning economy that doesn't revolve around prostitution. They also respect westerners and basic human rights. No one will know or care what you do while you're there. So all hotels are "girl friendly" by default. Enjoy.

I booked it through Agoda dot com. The room was great with all the amenities including toothbrushes and hairdryer. In the middle was a huge circular bed. There were even porn channels on TV (the Japanese kind where you have to have a lot of imagination). Unfortunately, I was not successful in getting girls to come to the hotel. I booked it through Agoda dot com. The room was great with all the amenities including toothbrushes and hairdryer. In the middle was a huge circular bed. There were even porn channels on TV (the Japanese kind where you have to have a lot of imagination). Unfortunately, I was not successful in getting girls to come to the hotel. I was not familiar with the local scene, did not speak Japanese and did not do enough research. After I left Japan, it hit me that I could have just asked the front desk, LOL.
I guess my next question is: when I book through hotel search engines, how can I tell if it's a love hotel? I guess looking at the pictures of the hotel will be a give-away?

Miari is still active but a sorry shell of its former self with quality mediocre at best and now a usually non-negotiable W100,000 per session. They've always started there, but I used to be able to bargain the ajumas down to 80,000. Now they seem not to be having any of that.Yes Miari is quite boring now but I was lucky to still score there with a hidden hottie. Also I have yet to drop by my old punting ground place, so maybe I will drop by in August to check that place out in Miari.

Took a gander around Cheonho for the first time, this week.
It seems I missed it? Is it almost entirely gone now? Per websites, I see it was located behind the 2001 outlet, but most of that entire area has been ripped-out for a new apartment. Near the back end of it, I saw about a row and a quarter of red-light windows, but they were mostly condemned. I walked all around, but couldn't find anything else. Is it pretty much gone, now? People made it sound like there was some more to it than that. Did I miss something? It is now open to public but not totally destroyed yet. Funman13.Years ago there was an escort agency called Asian Mistique. It's owned by one western guy, who is my old friend, so I know well. They cover all mainland of Japan.
I think it is legitimate service.
