You're right. Korea has changed substantially since 2019, and I worry that most of the reports written before that no longer contain much practical information.

To answer your first question, I think some of the anmas offer a soapland type experience, but I'm not sure which of them do. I can't be certain that this is one of the Hyugetels that I've been to, but as a regular in the Jamsil area it is entirely possible. Yeongdeungpo is the best one with in terms of looks and variety but not all will take in foreigners. At the top of my head, at least 10 do. Itaewon's hooker hill is for foreigners but the woman there are very old. It's small, maybe 10 woman in total. To answer your question, I do think the business will become more restrictive in the future. The government is under a lot of pressure to eliminate these businesses and so crackdowns are going to continue.

Some civic group even floated the idea of making sex reviews illegal. This would criminalize sites like opgani and the users who post on them. Of course, anonymity would make enforcement impossible, but the mere fact that people are proposing such ideas means that the pressure on the industry is almost certainly going to stay amped up.

However, I don't think there will be any additional restrictions on foreigners. It's already hard enough for us to make appointments and therefore I think it will simply remain as difficult an endeavor as it already is.

If you follow the US monger scene, a lot of the girls cycle from location to location. Is it possible that some are trafficked? The state of the scene in Korea is pretty abysmal these days. After having had many great experiences, written up in a number of reports, I think I'm officially done with it. My reasons are various, but the main one is due to the number of poor experiences I've had lately. There hasn't been anything outright awful, but I've gotten nothing but older women (late 30's early 40's) on my last few visits. I'm not opposed to an older woman, but I like them to be sexy and willing, which has not been the case for a matter of months now.

During one of my recent encounters, I did manage to meet a young pretty woman who matched the picture in her advert, but she didn't allow DATY or kissing, and without such services the experience was far too one-dimensional. In the absence of any passion on the part of the women, I have decided that I'd rather just give myself a tight gripped handy at home.

As far as I'm concerned, the golden age of attractive Thai women offering quality service in Korea is over. The last five years have been pretty good to me, and I wish I could say I was optimistic about the future of p4 p in Korea, but I don't think the scene will rebound in the near future. All signs point to a declining market. There are: fewer real photos on the popular sites; more ads being removed at a faster and faster pace; and more women seemingly content to stay in Thailand where they can earn nearly as much money as they earn in Korea without the hassle of illegal immigration.

In addition, there hasn't been much good news for the Korean gangs who run these operations. Alongside the increased crackdowns within Korea, Korean pimps have been getting busted all around the world. In just the last couple of months there have been huge busts in Thailand, Vietnam, and the USA. Whether they are bringing women into Korea as is the case with Thais and Viets or whether they are taking Korean women out of Korea as is the case in the USA, these Korean gangs are being carefully watched by the authorities.

Having experienced this recent decline in quality as well as the increased difficulty in finding open businesses, I've decided that I'm better off spending my money and time on other pursuits.

How true is any of this? I've been to South Korea, had a blast at some anmas and as far as I can tell, everybody in South Korea is pretty loaded. Designer clothes, fantastic cars, highly educated, and damn near perfect English although they're very shy to speak it, and for some weird reason tend to have American accents. Everybody's so polite, and essentially zero crime. I've met some Koreans here in the states and they tell me life is great in South Korea, good work life balance, free education, low taxes. I'm inclined to believe this report, CNA is Singapore's main news outlet, and if you can't trust Singapore, who can you trust? Weirdly, when I had to go do my thing for uncle Sam decades ago in South East Asia, I actually met some South Koreans on our side.

Also, if you're in Seoul, I recommend Tiffany Anma. About 200 bucks for an hour, other options available. A little cheaper if you're local. At this point, it's cheaper to bang a Korean chick in Seoul than in NYC. They cost about 300 bucks now here in the tri-state area, so that's a no go for me.

And who wouldn't love Goshiwons? You get to live apart from people in your own room, it's super cheap rent at 200 bucks for a month? Holy moses. Talk about savings. Rat race? No. People with money in Korea have money and show it off. There are also some people without money that buy fake goods and pretend like they have money because image is important. Most people just eek out a normal life -- to assume everyone is loaded is like visiting Beverly Hills and assuming all of the US is the same. Recently a newspaper surveyed about 5000 people aged 18-25 and found 55.6% of the youth population residing in Seoul now lives in poverty, with many seeking financial support from their parents. Nearly half surveyed said they still live with their parents. South Korea's senior poverty rate is also the highest among member countries of the OECD at 40.4%. You haven't met enough Koreans. Most Koreans I work with do not speak "perfect" English -- I'd say less than 5%. Korean people have varying degrees of English, from barely able to hold a conversation with most speaking just enough to get by in basic situations (ie: order food, ask for directions) if they had to. Yes there are some that speak better because they went to school abroad, or spent extra time studying, but that has not been the majority of people from my experience.

They are polite to foreigners because they used to view them as a novelty. With more tourists visiting Korea, it's less of a novelty these days, but Koreans can be really rude to each other. As far as crime goes, sure there aren't mass shootings like the US but that's only because guns are not common. If people had guns, there would be plenty of shootings given the number of hot headed Koreans. That aside, assaults, scammers, and murders do happen in Korea, but yes, overall crime is lower in Korea vs the US for various reasons.

Life in Korea is great but only if you have money, and that's a very small minority and that probably holds true for most other countries as well. The average salary in Korea is about $3 k USD per month. Yes, there is cheap housing, but considering if you want to buy even an old and small place in the Gangnam district it basically starts at $1 m USD, there's no way anyone making $3 k a month will ever be able to afford that in their lifetime. If you make 75-80 k USD / yr in Korea that's considered a lot by Korean standards. Moving outside of Seoul has much more affordable housing but the problem is there are fewer jobs and facilities (hospitals) for older people. Younger people do not want to live there, or can't because again, there are fewer jobs.

As far as work-life balance, it's gotten better over the years, but it's still lagging compared to western countries. Working 6 days a week to make ends meet is still quite common for some jobs. There are still some companies in Korea where you cannot leave the office until your manager has left, even if you finished up what you need to do for the day.

Education is free, but only for elementary and middle school. Pre-school is not free and neither is high school. To get into a good high school and then college you have to have exceptional grades which means parents send their kids to hagwons (after school programs / private tutoring). I know people that spend up to $20 k USD per child on education. Assuming you do go to college, tuition is significantly cheaper than the US.

Korea has a progressive tax system just like the US and it tops off at 38%. If you don't make a lot of money you won't pay a lot in taxes -- same as the US. Someone making 75-80 k USD will pay about 16-17 k USD in taxes which puts them in the low 20%. This is including national pension (social security), national health care, etc. Korea also has a 10% VAT, basically the equivalent of sales tax on most good / services. At least that's one of the lowest VATs.

I guess it depends on your standards. Goshiwons are barely big enough to fit a twin mattress, a small desk, and a small fridge. You might not even get your own bathroom too. People live there because they don't have much of a choice. It's basically 1 or 2 steps above being homeless.

With Hyugetel quality declining, I booked an appointment at a Gunma in Gangnam to see whether things were better or worse in this part of the industry. You can read all my reviews on the 3 weeks I spent in Bangkok 2 summers ago, and there you'll find the myriad choices you'll have when it comes to hobbying in Thailand. Nowhere in the world are there this many options, price ranges, availability, etc. And the country is safe, affordable, the food is great. Depending on what you look like, you might even be treated with reverence. I never felt so respected, and given so much leeway before. Where I'm from and where I am now, I'm essentially human garbage, but in Bangkok, I felt like a king.

Jakarta is ok, but like Manila, and kuala lumpur, dangerous. Bangkok is incredibly safe, next to Singapore it's easily the second safest big city in all of South East Asia.

Also in Seoul, you'd do well to know a few phrases of Korean, it will go a long way, especially with the chicks. They always like it when the foreign guy makes an effort. Even better if you can read a little Hangul. It's incredibly easy to learn. In just a few hours, you'll get the general idea of how their writing system works. But in Thailand, no one gives two shits what language you speak. Sure, people are always happy when I say a few Thai words, but they honestly don't care.

So my friend, I'm happy for you on your sex trip, it's always a good thing to have, and for your time in Asia, I would recommend these countries, in this order for your visit.

Thailand first, have the time of your life, then onto Singapore since it's so near, stop by Tokyo for the always reliable Tokyo Hentai Club, then finally do Seoul for some anmas.
