I've been teaching in Seoul for a while now and have a curious dilemma.
I teach a group of middle school age kids and usually meet at one of their houses.
Recently, one of the children's mothers has made it obvious to me that she would like to sleep with me. She is relatively good looking for a middle aged Korean woman but still I'm not sure. Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this situation and what they have done. I'm tempted but something is holding me back. Visited my regular girl at the Hamilton Hotel yesterday. Still 200,000 won for about an hour. I ran into the same dilemma. I thought about the good, bad, and the ugly.
I asked myself questions like:
Who and where is the husband?
What influence might he have, if we are caught?
When does he come home (times consistent or inconsistent)?
How are we going to proceed?
I came up with a simple solution. I told the mistress to be, that if we are to continue into a secret affair it had to be handled with complete discretion and by my rules. Here are the rules that I outlined:
1) That it is a “No Strings Attached” relationship, which allows you to see other women with out the worries of commitment.
2) That if we were to meet publicly that it would be in a coffee shop or eatery for just a brief time and no dates like movies and long walks in the park BS.
3) We would never do it at her place unless it was a quickie in the bathroom with all the perimeter doors double locked and bathroom door cracked. The reason for this is that you do not get too comfortable and can usually get dressed quickly especially if she wears a dress that can be pulled down and she exits quickly.
4) That she pays cash for any room that we get or at least give me the money to get it. One person gets it and the second shows up later.
5) No excessive phone calls from her house or cell to my cell. I only answer email or coded text.
6) I decide when it ends if she doesn’t.
I went for it and she accepted. Everything works out fine she does not ask who I was with or when. We usually meet at a convenient time in the early morning hours after the hubby goes to work and after she takes the kids to schools. This seems to be the best time.

For those who never been to Yongsan RLD, here is the map for you.
Yongsan is very easy to reach with the public transportation, especially subways. It can be reached with Subway Line #1 (Black) or Line #4 (Blue). Figure out the subway map and get on either line.
If you come on Line #1, get off at the Yongsan Stn , which is 2 stations south of the Seoul Stn. Just follow the other ppl (only 1 exit) and, when you step out of the station, there will be a big open ground. Cross the ground, cross the street, then just around the corner you will find your that familiar Red Light.
Total distance from station exit to the RLD is less than 100M.
The route via Line #4 is much easier. Target station is ShinYongSan ("shin" in front of "YongSan" means "NEW" in Chinese), get off, exit 3 is where you are heading. If you can see the land-bridge you are on the right track. Go straight ahead, then make a right turn at the corner, then just a few more steps will take you there. Less than 50M in this case.
If you stay in the downtown Seoul, then the total time to get to Yongsan RLD is less than 30mins from your hotel. And on the map, I marked the Police Box, just in case you run into something unacceptable while you can complain/report to them, hehe.... Remember ppl here is co-existing, so use your brain not just penis.

Was in Korea for business last week. I got lucky in the Yongsan RLD. And it was luck. I have no idea.
I found the place just wandering around about mid-afternoon. I saw a girl come out into the street who seemed to be soliciting in a very subtle way, kind of a persistent smile though not looking at me directly, lingering, but there was no-one else about in the street. Well I finally bit the bullet and tried out Finkle (Pinkle) based on everybody else's experiences. I got there right around 2AM after some partying in Gangnam. I wasnt even sure if it would be open. Following your report, I visited "Chez Vous", last weekend. On duty was a Thai girl "Awika" (around a 4 out of 10, unless you like them "porky") and a Thai Ladyboy (who was more "boy" than "lady").

When I go up to Seoul, usually stay in the Hamilton. Right in the middle of Itaewon. Rooms on the 9th floor are new and can usually get them for Won 112,000 a night. And they don't say anything if you bring a girl back to the room. Plus, you have easy access to the Sports Massage. Have heard the massage girls will come to your room, but never got the nerve to ask.
Will be up this week. Interested in an all nighter with a Korean or a Filipino, if anyone has a recommendation.

Does anyone know anything about the red light area just down from Ahyeon Station (on the green line - one stop from Ewha Women's University)? There are about a dozen street front windows, with some more on the side streets. It was closed when I went to check it out at lunchtime, today.

I checked out Yongsan for the first time last week. It is very easy to get to and find. First time I took the subway to Yongsan station, out the main entrance and continue straight out one block and you are in the middle of it. Second time I just told the taxi driver "Yongsan station" and no problem there either. It is relatively close to Itaewon, 5 or 10 minute taxi ride.
My experience was similar to everyone else. Could only window shop on the main road. Good news is there pretty nice left overs on the side streets. First time I was there just to scope it out, in case the non-pro pickup didn't go well. I quickly switched to plan B! Seems like you guys are too into RLDs in Seoul.
Being a native Korean, I can't resist anymore to tell you that there are many other options available for you in the city.
a. The famous two poles: If you go to "Jang An Dong" near Jang An Pyung station, you can get a quality service at a fair price. 90k for about an hour(a short massage inclusive) girls & service 7-10
b. An Ma: There are many places in Kang Nam area with 8-10 looking girls that serve you as if you are a king. 180k for an hour of service and 40 min of professional massage done by the blind.
c. Book Chang Dong: If you like drinks and service at the same time, they charge you about 200k per person. Basically you play with nake girls for a couple of hours. Sometimes FS but mostly BBBJ in the room.
d. Room Salon: The most expensive but the best quality service in town. You are expected to spend about 500k with drinks and a hot looking girl. If she likes you, then you may be able to have her for all night. (Some fluent English speakers, too)

All four options are good for flying solo, however I am not so sure they will accept a foreigner. Due to the language problem and the different culture, they would be as terrified as yourself. I just spent a few nights in Seoul and wanted to do a post on Itaewon. For non-military, there is still much to be found on the hill but they are overly aggressive and you might get your shirt ripped just walking up it. Most of the bars are empty but a few are doing well. The old Royal Club (can't remember the new name) has some hotty's and 3 ladies drinks (60,000 won) will get you anything you want in the bar. I wouldn't even inquire about barfines as they wanted way too much but you can do whatever you desire behind the cheesy curtains in the bar. Starbutts (across from the King Club) has a stunner and she's easily negotiable for a barfine. She's a pro though and don't expect her to stick around your hotel after you finish your business but that's okay with me. She clearly was motivated by sex as much as cash and really put her back into it. I was finding her hair extensions all over my hotel floor the next morning. Best bet is taking a little trip to Seoul. It will only take about 1hour to 1hour and a half by taxi or Airport Express bus.
However if you are going to stay near the Airport. There is this small town nearest to the airport only takes about 5-10min. You will also need to a taxi. just tell the driver to goto Airport town(or Gonghang City).
The town is for the employee of the Airport mostly, but they do have some Massage parol and probably barbershop and cheap motels.
For the Massage, I have seen two of them the last time when I past by to get there. but if you don't read Korean you will have difficult time to find by yourself. so just ask the Taxi driver to take you to the Massage parol there. It would be helpful if you posted a link to an article as a reference. Without any documentation of such a report, this is all speculation at best.
Having said that, I don't remember coming across anything specifically about the RLDs being shut down. However, I'll be the first to admit that I haven't really being paying that much attention to Korean politics.
Given the recent turmoil in the poltiical scene in Korea, I think it is unlikely anything will happen in the near future. Perhaps that is just wishful thinking on my part.

Having read the articles now, I have to say that although I'm concerned about the possibility of this actually happening, I still think that we in the hobby will have to take a wait and see attitude.
First of all, the start of this proposed shut down isn't until 2007. That's a long way off, with a national election between now and then. It's entirely possible that this is pre-election propaganda and won't amount to anything substantial.
Secondly, given the sheer volume of corruption still present in the Korean government, I'd be surprised if the RLD industry didn't have some influence over some parliament members. Even if this is a serious effort by certain cabinet members, it may not get anywhere.
Finally, even if they actually get to the point where shut downs start to happen, I believe that the RLD industry is fueled by enough demand that it will simply go underground in some form or another. And I really don't think that the Korean LE have enough resources to actively pursue everything.
Again, all this might just be wishful thinking on my part... Maybe I'll just have to schedule more trips to Korea between now and 2007.

Holy crap, I just got back from Miari.
My god it was extremely busy tonight (last night?). It's currently 6:20am here in Seoul. I arrived at Miari around 12:30am. There was so many people, moreso than the average Friday or Saturday night, and this was a Wednesday night.

Visited Finkle (Pinkle) today, and for those who don't feel like searching back thru all the posts for the details, here they are:
Take the metro to Yeoksam station, and use exit #8 out of the station. Walk up the block and on the next corner (on the left) you'll see a Starbucks set back from the street, in the lobby of an office building. Turn left onto this street, and turn right at the second alley. Going down this alley/street, M Hotel will be on your left, and at the first alley on your right (after the car park) will be Finkle. It's the second business in from the corner, on the other side of the alley. All this is no more than 300m from the metro stop.
You'll know it's Finkle by the vertical pink sign with white lettering. There is red patterned carpet leading downstairs.
It was about 4pm on a Friday when I went.

Visited Youngsan RLD this afternoon. The girls on the main road are stunning but they wouldn't even look at this white boy. I have been reading this board for a while and actually have found that I can contribute a lot to the Seoul discussion. I will go into greater detail later. I lived in Seoul for about two years and have many very good friends and "experiences" there. However, I haven't been able to make it back for about three years now. This is going to change this June. I will give a full report when I return from my trip as to what has changed. In speaking with a native Korean friend of mine the other day, I understand that because of the Korean economy the Room Saloons are offering good discounts on services. These are by far the most expensive, but highest quality way to monger in Korea. I will let you know new prices when I return. Wouldn't it be something else if they would kimchi collard greens.

In and Out cost about 60,000 for an hour as far as I remember. If you are looking for FS, do not bother but for a very relaxing hour and quality HJ, it cannot be beat. Was told by one girl I could get 'more' if I returned and asked for her and also was given a number by another girl. So there are opportunities to form a GFE but the girls do work long hours so there probably aint much time to see them after work.

3. The sluts: we all know these girls. They love the foreign meat and will happily gobble it down on the first date. They get dirty on the dancefloor and will get even dirtier when you take them home.
Now the problem I find is, all of these girls look the same when you first see them. You can see a girl who looks kinda slutty, but who won't let you kiss her. Then you see a nice-looking girl who is actually the randy one and you let that other guy take her. My question is how do you tell? Can you tell?
And another thing? When you're looking for some non-pro action does it make much of difference where you go? Hongdae, Gangnam, Apujeong, Itaewon. I have found that a lot of sluts go to Itaewon, but in places like Hongdae the college chicks are nice and innocent but seem to be disinterested in westerners (possibly having seen too much).

If they run away, giggle, wave you away or say "No english" its because they aren't interested in you specifically, not whities in general. Just be careful here, I used to hang in Itaewon alot and started to recognize the same girls every week and with different guys every week. They've been passed around a lot.
Hongdae: Its kind of a cross between the too. You find alot more of your "exposed" girls here. But alot of innocents and also alot of sluts. It also depends on what nightclubs you're going to there. I can tell you the best ones to pick up in. Anyway, I like Hongdae the best, has the hottest chicks and ones that haven't been ridden by every foreigner in Korea (like Itaewon). I am finally back from my 5-week escapade at a Korean University. First, I would like to agree with the gent about the chicks in Itaewon being passed around like a blunt. Don't go there unless you are just desperate and like the gas station approach, if you know what I mean. I also agree with one guy who said that Hongdae sucks, except on the last Friday of the month (I got to experience 2) when all the bars have a deal where you pay 15,000 won for a bracelet that allows you to drink at all the bars and covers the the cover charge at those which have such. On those nights the amateurs are pretty toasted and pretty easy. I have a secret though. Go to the Shinchon area instead and check out the hotties over there. Not as many foreigners and they are more sophisticated and want to try their English. If you speak some Korean such as I, all the better. Your best bets are not the Korean girls however; it is the Japanese exchange students. There are lots of them. Easy to spot because they are more aggressive about what they want first dance with them. One grabbed my crank (curiosity about the black man thing again) before we even got out the door to a yogwan around the corner. Only cost me about 30,000 for the room and a couple of drinks in her. She was 21 and very hot. Try the Zen or Zen 2 (Zen 2 has no dance floor) on Fridays or Saturdays. Be careful though, because the GI's are starting to discover this place and are going to ruin it for everybody!

I find it interesting that there has been some discussion as to which areas are easiest to pick up girls in Korea. This has been my experience:
Itaewon: If you like to fuck a 35 year old head case that all the GIs have already run up in, go for it. And that's non-pros. If you're talking about pros can you say Drinkee Drinkee Drinkee and you still look Fifty, but thanks for the rushed blow job and a markedly lighter wallet. A few exceptions to Itaewon. There use to be a bar on the second floor on a corner, I think if memory serves me down a block or two from where you turn up to Hooker Hill. Not bad, but you're competing with VPs and English Teachers and the girls are trying to ascertain which is which. I did have some sucess with some Russian girls in a dive way up Hooker Hill that had pool tables and darts. I think it was on the second floor. Total freebie, but I'm convinced she worked somewhere else "professionally" and this was a night off. JJ Mahoney's at times can be a very good place to score, but once again you have to be able to recognize the crazies, the gold diggers, and the absolute *****s from the rest of the available selection and of that some will be hard to bag.
Hongdae: My absolute favorite. Too far away and too much taxi fare for the typical GI to venture to. College crowds who can be very open to a "foreigner" experience. Can't remember all the good bars for picking up girls while I was there, but there was one called HodgePodge pronounced Hoodgie Poodgie*_* that was a good resource. Some of the girls would be very up front, even if they don't speak English. This is rare, but I had a few tell me simply "home" and I was in like Flynn. Also a good club if you like punk is "Drug" there is a band that used to play there, but I hear they're all in the Army now, called Crying Nut. They fucking rocked.
Apkujeong/Gangnam: These are more affluent areas, but it is possible to get girls there. They just either have to A) Like you or B) Think you have something to bring to the plate. Look for at least 2 dates and some times 4 or 5 before scoring.
Shinchon: Too damn crowded, but can be fun. Like Korling mentioned, possible to pick up Japanese or students, but not quite as free as Hongdae or as fun to be frank.
Oh also chicks may look at you crazy if you just walk up to a chick and start trying to Mack on her. Keep in mind that some families still arrange marriages. Sometimes waiters can help alleviate this problem by serving as your middle man, but you have to find a cool waiter.
Keep in mind I'm talking about freebies where a little bit of work may be involved. There are many other ways to get laid in Korea that I won't go into right now, but one kind of funny phenomenon an English teacher friend of mind related to me was that of Ajushis (married women in late 30s to mid 40s. Possible for a day time tyrst or at some of the Caberet bars when hubbies are out of town. Also if you are looking for older women and older in Korea is like 27, welcome to paradise. If they're not married by this age, they'll pretty much get with anything that has a dick, an income, and whom they think might be looking to settle down.

Went to Jang An Dong tonight and the area around the subway station has a ton of those double barber pole places. Ashton, you didn't go back far enough.
Youngdeungpo is quite foreigner unfriendly. That part of town is very blue-collar and has a reputation for being full of wannabe gangster types. I've milled around there pretty late at night a few times and the mood on the street was ugly.

I just got back from Miari. There's one girl there that I've been going to the past 6-7 times I've been there. Anyway, I asked about an all nighter. I was quoted 700,000. Offer not good on Saturdays though.
700,000 isn't bad. It's about $600. At least 12 hours. None of the all nighters I've done in the past were under 12 hours. Some lasted as long as 18 hours (8pm - 2pm next day). (2) Where the safer/better parts of Seoul would be located?
(3) What price range should I consider?
I am looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment with AC for a month of enjoying in Seoul, and I can only find apartments for about $US 2000-5000 per month.

1) Forget the sites, they're a bunch of rip offs. There are waaaay cheaper places you can get by just walking around.
2) Seoul is safe. It doesn't really matter where you live. I used to live in L.A. and even L.A. isn't too bad. You can walk around late at night, just watch your back. Here in Seoul, I never worry. Besides, there's always people around, no matter how late it is, so don't worry about the crime.
3) Price range: You can get a decent sized place for about 500,000won/month I think. That's about $400 or so. I'm paying 950,000won/month for my place. About $800. It's about 720 sq. ft. I'm also in Sinchon area. I'm within 3 minute walk of Ewha Women's University too, so that's good. :)
In my area, since there's several universities here, there's lots of apartments for rent here. Ranging from 300,000 to 1,000,000. Roughly $250 - $850. One bedroom will probably cost you about $800 or so/month. There's lots of places around my neighborhood. In fact, the building I'm in has a vacancy for a 1 room I believe. Probably same price as mine, give or take 100,000/month. It will also come furnished, with bed, table, microwave, fridge, TV, AC, etc.
I'm about a 15-20 minute walk to the Sinchon Subway station. However, there's a bus that stops right in front of my building that'll take me to the Subway station for 450 won (maybe 35 cents?). There's a few restaurants in my area, within 1-2 minute walking, as well as a few markets. Some bars/cafes as well.
Of course, you can live anywhere though. Haha, maybe you can look at renting one of the empty glass houses in Miari or something. However, I was told they go for about 5,000,000won/month (about $4,000). Still at least 2 stories, with a basement. Maybe 15 rooms total, so you can start a motel business perhaps? Anyway, hope this info helped.

Hi All,
I will be in Seoul for a few days next week. I've been reading the reports here and there is a lot of info. Unfortunately, 90% of the reports do not include directions to get to these various locations.
Apparently, there is a Glass House area near Hooker Hill but I've no clue how to find it. My friend tells me that there is a small Glass House are near Yongson Station.
Anyway, I would like specific information on how to get to the various Glass House areas. I'm also interested in the Bath Houses that also offer a good massage (including a Chaji Massaggy). Info on Massage Parlors (not "Real" massage parlors) with fairly young agashis would be nice.

Jangang-Dong is the well known area for two-pole Barbershop to the locals. It's is cheaper and the girls a young and cute if you choose the right one. "Paradise" just pop-up in my head right away.

Great report on the Turkey Tang on Jang Am Dong. Reports like these make me wish I was in Seoul by now. Jang-An dong is East of the Seoul CBD, about 20~30 min drive depending on the traffic. Again, subway is the sure way to get there. We can count as much as 50 different Caucasian ethnic groups and just one lump sum of Caucasian? The problem is, Koreans can't distinguish any of them. Would you believe if someone tells you Jean Renot (French) and Sean Connelly (Scots) look very similar to each other?
As long as you accompany Korean friends, you can access any mongering place. If you are a single-venture type, right now, you are limited to the Hooker Hill (Itaewon), YoungSan RLD, hotel lobby-girls, out-calls(?), also some new BBS type place in Kangnam(Finkl comes to mind, if they accept). What you miss goes like this: KTV (room salon), Upscale KTV (10%, what we call), Turkish Bath and its variants, and some really lousy brothel.
4. Black
We don't discriminate the Black ppl. They are treated same as the White - another foreigner. Sometimes I got slight negative response from the girls, but once they accept the White, no reason not to the Black.

This is my first report in Seoul as this was my first trip there. Thanks for all the postings and directions. I found Yongsan RLD very easily, but 588 was a little confusing.

I am currently on assignment in NYC and Flushing is but a stone's throw away and I have seen a lot of real cuties walking around there. I have heard of some very nice korean amps in LA, so not sure why you say it's so bad. Urgh, what a night. I have to say i'm a little disappointed with my first 588 experience. I really thought that with a Korean guide I would be in... not to be. Let me take it back a little.

Hello all!
I am a long time viewer but just got my upgrade so I hope I will be able to contribute from time to time.
I currently live in Bucheon so I am always looking for new places to monger, especially at BS's. I have long since given up on Hooker Hill for the most part but occasionally go back to look up new and naive talent.
Just this past weekend I went to scout out a few places around Bucheon station. I live at Songnae station and decided to take the 20 minute walk to Bucheon to check out a few places along the way. I stopped by 2 BS near JungDong but they would not take foreigners. Oh well, their loss.
I stepped out of Bucheon station at the South side exit and hung a left towards the small RLD next to the station. About 25 meters or so there is a BS. It was meant to tell Byung about how good deal that Changan Dong Turkey Bath he visited. There is no chance in hell you will find $70 place in U.S and specially not a service lasting that long. The korean place I visited in Flushing back in year 2000 was called "susuki" and it was located near the freeway that goes to La Guardia. I paid $180 for 40 min service (sauna, massage, full service). I don't remember the name of the girl i got serviced but I do remember the one girl my friend saw. her name was nikki and had an awsome rack and the voluptious body of a latina. My friend had such a good time that he came back the next day.
Unfortunately I heard from him last year that the place disappeared though.

I used to be a weekly regular at Yongsan RLD but kind of stopped because the girls I liked were too heavily trafficked. I haven't posted any reports lately because I've been kept busy. I figured I'd share my lastest experiences though since you asked about interacting with married Korean women. Check The Korea Times and/or The Korean Herald. The rates generally run 100,000w but that also depends on how far they have to travel. I live in Bucheon (only 40 mins from Yongsan) and usually have to fork over 120k.

BikeRider made some interesting observations about getting along with married Korean women. The only area I disgree about is the bringing up sex part. If the women are older -- late 30s to 40s -- they are eager for sex. If you feed a Korean women first, treat them with respect and talk to them, then it is just to easy to get laid.

RLD = Red Light District
(Prostitution is technically illegal in South Korea, but there are well maintained and defined RLDs, the main ones being Yongsan, 588 AKA Cheongryangri and Miari Texas)
588 is called that because it's the major bus stop for the #588 bus. To get there by subway (the bus system in Korea is too complex to explain), you should take the number 1 line to Cheongryangri station. The exit is behind the Lotte department store. The RLD is basically behind the train station, but of course to get there you have to find it! I think the fastest way is to walk past the Lotte department store to the stalls (without crossing any major streets), and then turn left. It's impossible to miss once you're in the general area.
I don't remember exactly how to get to Miari Texas (sorry), only that it's in Northeast Seoul. You could get in a taxi in the general area, tell me Miari, and he would most likely take you there. It's lower rent, lesser quality, and cheaper, but accepts foreigners more readily than 588.
Yongsan RLT -- The easiest way is to go to Yongsan subway station, then flag down any white man and ask him.
P.S. Anywhere you see two barber poles, or barber poles lit after 8pm at night, is a walk-in brothel or a "massage" parlor. It's hard to tell from the outside, and quality varies, but the experience lasts longer, although it's more expensive.
Miari is located at Gireum Subway Station, Line #4, exit #10... It'll be in the alleys on your right hand side.
Cheongnyangni aka 588 (oh-pal-pal) - Located at Cheongnyangni Subway Station, Line #1, forgot which exit, but it's to the left of Lotte Department Store, and part of it is behind the Dept. Store.

Go for the north exit, don't take the exit to the left but head towards the end of the station. Once exiting the station it is supposed to be on the right side.

Back last summer, I paid between 1,100,000 - 1,300,000 WON.

Anyway, 600,000 WON seems alright to me. According to Sam Katz, it was too much. Sam, you say 400,000-500,000WON? That sounds good, but have you ever actually succeeded in getting this kind of deal before? I don't *need* to do all nighters, not at all. I did negotiate hard. I was a successful business owner, so I consider myself a good negotiator. Then again, I might be lousy... who knows.
I'd like to hear from people who've actually done all nighters, and I'd like to hear how much they actually paid and how long they got to stay with their girls, as well as if they were allowed to take the girls out to play and whatnot.

I enjoyed this place more than "In & Out", which calls time at 45 minutes. At Havana, an hour means an hour - except when they are not busy - in which case an hour can mean as much as 70 to 75 minutes.
I know there are those amongst you who don't always go in for the "wham bam" experience of the red light areas, the meaningless manipulations of the juicy girls on Hooker Hill, or the substandard routines of many of the BBS places.
For those on a budget with more than an hour to spare and the mood for relaxation, this can't be beat.
I will be interested to hear from any of you who visit HAVANA...

Quick question, maybe its been asked before but some friends and I were debating the health aspects of mongering in Korea. Even though "protection" is always used, there is usually some privates to privates touching where diseases could be transferred. Places like a 180,000 won AnMa, somebody told me that the girls there are tested regularly since it is more of an upperscale establishment as compared to some of the other places. Does anybody know about this?

Speaking from my 2 year adventures in korea when I was stationed there, you got a better chance of catching something from a G.I. chick than catching something from a pro, even if you went bareback. The reason for this is that there are less G.I. females there and they tend to be worshipped by those who will not venture into the local population. Now we are talking about pros and they have many men run trhough them but even still, not saying it is impossible, your less likely to catch something from them as oppsed to the G.I. female. Also the farther away from a military base, the better your chances of safe sex.
I personally have been with plaenty of girls over there, both pro and non pro, local and G.I. and never had a problem barebacking with a pro, but I did get hooked up by one local girl, who was known for being actively fucking all the time. I was quoted 200k for 1 hour and I didn't even ask about all night. All night would obviously be 5-6x this amount to make up for the potential customers that might be lost.
Yeungdungpo- I used to really enjoy this place on the main street (I'm asian) but you have to really be careful of the skanky looking women in the small alleyways. There are also some decent anma in this area as well.

It's exactly 1:00pm, on Tuesday, June 22, 2004.
I went for an all nighter again last night. So I went last night a lil bit past 8pm, and told the madame I was ready for an all nighter. I said I had 600,000 which she quoted me earlier.
Then as we were talking a little more I found out that's the price for *not* being able to take the chick out. To take her out it would be 660,000. She explained to me why this is, and I'd put that info. up but save it for another day, cuz I need to get some sleep soon.
So I paid the 660,000 won. I took her out. We went over to Sinchon to eat some samgyeopsal (grilled pork slices). I had told the chick the previous day not to eat dinner the next day. I didn't eat dinner either so I was pretty hungry. We ate four orders of samgyeopsal. Well, I had probably three orders and she had one. Then we ordered some fried rice at the end, as well as two bottles of cider. Total cost - 35,000 won + 8,000 won cab = 43,000 won.
We then walked around a bit. We then got in a cab and headed over to Dongdaemun, MMC theater to see the new Korean movie, "FACE". Cost of tickets, 14,000 won. Cost of taxi - 6,000 won. Total = 20,000 won.
While we were waiting for the movie to start though, we had an hour to kill so she suggested we go to a cafe to hang out. She got some iced mocha and I had iced green tea. Total cost was 10,000 won I believe, but she paid the bill.
After the movie, we went back to my apartment. Cab ride was 7,000 won. Near my apartment is a market where we bought some snacks, two bottles of soju, and a toothbrush for her. Total cost was 7,500 won. Total amount for this paragraph - 14,500 won.
So we went back to my place. We had soju together, ate a bit, listened to some music and then we got a lil sleepy so we went to bed. We were asleep for a few hours. Woke up and then we just layed in bed talking. Then we got it on. Afterwards we talked some more. She also told me her real name. Then around 11am, she got hungry, so she wanted to eat. I didn't have much in the fridge, so she took a bunch of ingredients from my fridge and made me some kimchi chigae (a kimchi soup). Nice! She even cleaned up my apartment a bit.
After that fabulous breakfast, we were full and just layed on the bed listening to music. Eventually, the fun had to stop, and she had to leave. She left at exactly 12:30pm.
I took her out around 8:10pm or so, but for the sake of simplicity I'll make it 8:30pm. That makes it a total of 16 hours. That's 660,000 won.
660,000 won / 16 hours = 41,250 won / hour.
41,250 won = $34.375
$34.375/hour.
However, there is still the amount I spent on food, taxi, etc. That's 77,500 won. $64.58 total spent on the actual "date" aspect of it. $38.41125 overall/hour. Not bad. It's still much better than the $250/hour spent with an escort in America.
One last thing, and it's starting to bug me: I'm starting to really like this chick. What the hell am I going to do? Crap, I've already gone through dating a Miari chick before, and it was a real heartbreaking incident. Now I'm falling for this chick now. Ugh, I think it's time to stay out of the districts.
I still have the psycho girl who's obsessed with me. I told her I moved to America because of some emergency so I won't be seeing her ever again. :)
Then there's a 20 year old half Korean half caucasian chick who wants to be with me.
There's also a 25 year old Chinese foreign exchange student who's interested in me.
Not to mention a 27 year old art teacher who just dumped her boyfriend who lives in the U.S.A. and is now asking me out on a date (which I've had to refuse).
I think my problem is I like going for girls that are "off limits".

And here's my two cents (or two won) on the subject of posting photos: I have plenty of photos of working girls ranging from simple tasteful portaits to some pretty vulgar nude shots with all manner of vegetables crammed inside their bodies. But I don't put them online because as Byung said, "that would be in bad taste." And aside from the bad taste issue, it would also be a fairly severe violation of their trust.
Nearly no one in that profession in this country allows themself to be photographed if they are told upfront, "By the way, I will be posting these photos on such-and-such a website."
I would rather take the photos, keep them to myself and at least be able to look the girl in the eye the next time I see her.

I wonder, though, about the value of your all-nighters. You've given comparison analysis of a miari 15 minute vs. all night for the cost. However, your stories about the all-nighters are all about the date and not about the action.
Personally, if I were paying 660,000 (or more), I wouldn't be going to movies. Going out and having fun is great, but I'd be getting back to bed as often as possible during that time.
Let's hear, on average, how many bangs you are getting for your 12 hours.

I would like to add a few notes, as I've traveled to Korea quite a few times in the last few years.
One option for a ST or partaking of a non-pro that is more for necking (possibly more, depending upon your and her comfort level) is to use a DVD "baeng" (room) instead of a Love Hotel.
You've got 2 hours or however long the DVD runs to get familiar on a couch in front of a nice projection tv. Some places are nicer than others, with my favorite being a place in Sincheon, which had a very nice room. It costs about 7,000 Won for one movie.
Note how they have coat hangers, with hooks above the window. The idea is that you take off your jacket and hang it over the window for privacy, which is darkened/frosted anyways. In some places, the door itself has a frosted/darkened glass section.
As with video "baeng"'s before them, these places are known for being cheap love hotel substitutions for college kids and the like. Keep in mind that plenty of people just go there to watch a movie, especially groups of girls, but you'll often find couples on dates going there.
If you see the window covered with coats, then you know that something is going on in there.
This could mark you as a cheap bastard, but it may be a "safer" location for a freebie hookup, who doesn't want to admit to wanting a love hotel.

Also, I don't know which RLD it is, but there's a location NE? (I don't know, because it's always by car) of TaeHangno underneath a freeway overpass. 660,000 for an all nighter is about what me and my two friends paid back in November. I can still remember counting all of those 10K won notes -- everyone carries a thick wad of cash. We stayed at BooLin Hotel, which is about a pitching wedge shot from the first shop. We would usually walk and make our selection and the girl would follow us back to the room. That was the beauty of being so close.
We would try to fuck as much as we could, thanks to the good people of Pfizer. We then would take a break and go somewhere to eat, drink & relax, then go back to the room and go at it again. After we get up in the morning go at it again. You get the picture. Funny thing though almost everyone of the girls we paid for the all nighter had some sort of sleeping disorder. I guess there were recent scandals involving an actress or something. Since my Korean speaking ability resembles a 3 year old child I could only pick out certain things. My friends both speak fluently, so that means I don't have to say a word. Besides, I didn't visit Korea to talk.

Tonight, I am taking two friends from Los Angeles to Miari. This Friday they want to go to a booking club in Kangnam. Probably BOSS or NYLA. I will report on that later.

Anyway, after some shopping we headed over to Burger King for lunch. After lunch, I told them we should check out the hill. Itaewon is an area I rarely go to, so I hadn't been to the hill yet. I usually only go to Itaewon when I go to Lime Light which is rare.

So is this Miya usually that unfriendly? Maybe she was busy with a customer? Anyway, maybe I'll check it out some other time during the evening. By the way, I noticed her sign, there was some Korean writing on there saying they served food as well. Is this true? She cooks also?

first comment, i would suggest you stay at grand intercontinential vs. coex intercontinental. they are only 500 m away from each other but rooms are bigger at grand, i suggest club floor. even better, club floor at ritz carlton, 4 km away.
enough with that, bars at both intercon's are overpriced and not with the working types. you may come across some girls but they are not usually out for that, just chatting in english.
there are alot of buisness clubs in the area but they are expensive, $500-700 per person, including girl for all nighter or a couple hours. you have to know what you are doing however.

for the low cost routine, you can go to korean ahn-ma (means massage). only some will take foreigners. usually equivalent of $120-160, including girl. when you go in say "full service" or "plus "agassi" (young girl).
