I was never a fan of LP cause the service was hopeless. All the girl seem to want to make you cum as fast as possible and get rid of you. The bed linen is thrashy. The State Run Daily News is advertising the MP at the Hotel Taprobane which is a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon. Some time back I heard there were Russians who offered more than massage. You get a clean place with a better sense of security at a higher price. (2. 5k at least) I think all three places are like that. I don't think there were any foreigners working in any of those places. I've asked them over the phone and they said only locals. But you never know. Talking about the raids, doesn't matter where things are advertised, the police can raid if they want. I've seen the joint at LP advertised on yellow pages (I think it was in the 2004 edition) under entertainment. But that place got raided. The question is why would the police would want to raid. The reasons I could think are 1. The operators don't pay their dues 2. Some politician wants to make some noise 3. Some judge gives an order if the neighbours or some activist make complaints

The thing with those 3 joints are, reason 1. They seem to be paying up 3. They maintain a quiet and what seems to be a decent profile (since the price is high, drunken bums don't seem to go there and make a racket) but for 2. Nobody would know what the politicians would do

However, these 3 places seem to top the list when it comes to safety (as far as I could C.) But you have to monger at your own risk.

I must say I have to agree with you guys.
This place is highly overrated

Day 1
I decided to go in the evening (as advised by TeaBoy).
Went to the 8th floor and started to walk down the corridor.

Today's Daily Mirror reports that a brothel in the Nugegoda Police area was raided and 6 girls arrested. This rang some alarm bells as the last report on TEP 5 stated that there were 6 girls there. Am visiting Colombo after a real long time. Last time I was there in 1999 and had some good fun at a Karoke club at galle road.

There is not much info about this in this forum. Can some senior please give some info on this.

Also it would be nice if some senior member can suggest the 3 best places to go for massage. As of now I could make out only 1 place Liberty plaza. The other places mentioned are in abbrevations. JH/JG etc. If the name and locations are mentioned, it would be very helpful

Sadly, the mongering situation in Colombo has deteriorated since 1999. The reason members use abbreviations is that they are afraid their favourite places will be raided by Police. Hello,

Visiting colombo and galle for 2 days each in about 10 days as my 1st trip to the wonderful sri lanka.

I was hoping for some help from some experienced players to recommend a few places I could go to for a good time.

Police raid new look night club

Police raided a brothel being run under the guise of a night club down Waidya Road, Dehiwela.

They also took into custody two managers, a doctor and eight females recruited as call girls. Five women were married. They were from Uva Paranagama, Haputale, Anuradhapura, Ja-ela, Talawa, Aluthgama and Mahawa.

The suspects are to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate on December 4. The raid was carried out by the Intelligence Division of the Nugegoda Police.

There are several odd things here:

(a) How is it that our ace reporter Jay Dee files a report on 29/11, and the newspaper report is delayed by 3 days?

(b) The newspaper does not mention "Dhanalanka", but presumably it is the same place. We thought this was an MP, but was it also "entertaining" at night with music, nude dancing etc., thereby disturbing the neighbours?

For the benefit of foreign visitors, I would remind them that it is worth buying the Sunday Times newspaper and looking at the "Hitads" section, which lists a number of massage parlors referred to as "spas" or "Ayurvedic Centres".

Some of these spas have a qualified ayurvedic doctor, complete with blood pressure apparatus and steth. This is no guarantee of safety, but I think the Police will think twice about raiding such places. The Aorta at Borella (now named Biota) used have a doctor, but he has been absent on my last few visits.
When I went to Dhanalanka a few weeks ago, I never saw a doctor even though it was my first visit.

I think if the doctor speaks to every customer who comes in, that makes the place relatively safe, as even our Taliban wants to show that they respect Ayurvedic doctors.

I think the reason for the wrong information reported in the news paper is obviously a cover up due to someone paying (possibly the owner) in order not to reveal the name and actual location, this way the place can safely open up again. Had been to colombo last week for 3 days and had checked lot of places. Some Karaoke bars and Massage.

Karaoke. Went to Base, Sapphire, Boss, After dark, Pier 3.

All these are located nearby.

Boss and Sapphire have private rooms and cost around 8500 including some drinks. Base was useless and After dark was the best. Its in the lane opp to Mcdonalds and has some good girls.

The print edition of Hitads today (13/12) is interesting. The Police raids have really hit these spas, leaving a big gap in the page which is being advertised for Rs.19,600!

The following places seem to have "disappeared":

(1) Dhanalanka
(2) Aloka
(3) The Darley Road place
(4) Selena Spa, Ambuldeniya
(5) Green Herbal, Koswatte, Nawala

It is possible that some of the remaining places are relatively safe because they are being favoured by the Police, perhaps because they are paying bigger bribes.

The places still advertising in Dehiwala are:

(1) Osilma on Galle Road
(2) 112, Anderson Road, Kalubowila
(3) 72C, Malwatte Road, Hill Street

There are also two interesting "new entrants" in other areas. New entrants are generally unsafe, but if they are in non-residential areas they may be relatively safe.

I would be interested in the comments of other members.

The week before the last one, I paid a visit to the so called TEP3 (as in my previous report) with the guidance of ToyotaRav4 and Milli. They have shifted to a new location at Pitakotte. Thanks TB. I did call JH during the day as I had time to kill between appointments and the phone rang thru and got cut off several times. I thought for sure that they had also been busted, because when I call GH I was told by the operator that City Palace is no more. However, much to my relief and am sure of many others in here, when I called JH later it was answered by the stupid Sri Lankan cashier. She may have been tickling her **** with the phone when I called earlier. She did tell me that there was some new stock. Two days back , I had noticed one scenario close to Roxy theatre MP.

FBI concur with the authour of the above message that the actress is indeed available, though the initial fee mentioned to me about 1 year back (35K) was somewhat higher, maybe it incurred a commission to someone. Unfortunately the deal did not work out. Funboy's experience maybe the exception and not the rule, as a friend of mine who was screwed her, told that it was a lousy experience and that she was a lousy woman with a rotten attitude, so its better to do a bit of groundwork before putting your dick in and blowing such a load of money!

This place is at 25, Abdul Cafoor Mawatha, Kollupitiya, near Sapphire Karaoke. There are very prominent sign-boards saying "Chinese foot and hip massage". It is not a discreet place as there are two or three trishaw Johnnies keeping a permanent watch on the entrance. I think some of these fellows must be Police informers.

I went there just before 11 a.m. and the "girls" had not arrived. There were two Chinese blokes, and a Chinese woman age about 35 sweeping the floor. On the menu is a "full body massage, pressure points" at Rs.2000 for 1 hour. There are 5 couches in the open for foot massage. The full body massage is done in a separate room. I was asked to sit down and wait for the girls.

Two girls arrived shortly after 11, one of them a 6.5 and the other a 6. I was not asked to choose, but the "6" approached me and asked me to pay the money. Her name was something like "Ning Ning". It was only after paying the money that I realized that the massage room had no door, only a curtain. She watched while I undressed. When I came to the underpants she indicated that I should keep them on. She wanted to massage the front first, always a bad sign. Her English is very limited.

The massage was without any oil or lotion, which I think is usual for Chinese massage. I find the Sri Lankan ayurvedic massage with oil much more relaxing. I had to tell her THREE times not to massage too hard. This girl is strong (must be eating plenty of pork and beef), so if you are a big guy who wants a very hard massage she may be okay. Although the massage was supposed to be "full body", the buttocks and feet were left out. I asked about "special massage". She said "no".

Aloka - Dehiwala (Nedimala) is closed for good, and the Boralagussmulla place has only two girls, I inquired about the situation and I was made to understand that steps have been taken (bribes paid??) to ensure that it is not raided again and that it is safe and I should come, but I am not willing to take the risk to go to this place in the near future also since most of my favorite girls have left the place anyway, this used to be my favorite SPA but now I would not even consider going at least till I hear different.

I could not agree with you more, this is something I feel deeply about, yes even if a SPA is engaged in some shady operations the customers should not be harraased unless they are actually caught in the act with a witness. If a place is proved to be a brotel not a SPA it should be closed permanantly period, but this is not the case due to the corruption that has spread like a cancer.
The same is true for an army officer flagging down a vehicle (normally army cannot interact with civilians) and checking personal belongings but this emergency law circumvents all this rights of the civilian.
Oh I do hope there is a silver line to this dark cloud.

According to Sri Lanka law, EVEN IF one is caught having sexual intercourse with a prostitute, the customer has not committed any offense if it is in a private place like a house. It is an offense if this is done in a public place such as a car parked on a public road.

In a few other countries like Sweden, the customer can be charged if he PAYS for sex, but this is NOT a crime in Sri Lanka.

Thanks a lot Tea Boy for the clarification, just wondering if there are any forum members who are lawyers or 100% familiar with the local law situation with respect to emergency law, I am sure all mongers will benefit form a little advice of what are the implications if we are caught in a raid, I know that under emergency law they can detain you at the police station for some 24 hours (or is it 48 hours) or so but should it be a court case CAN the customer be sentenced to imprisonment? the possibility of spending time in Welikada is unthinkable to me.

Two weeks back I had to drive past this prison and knowing that most of the girls at Al* were doing time there while I was driving by sent shivers down my spine.

If any genuine monger wants clarification on the exact location of a place mentioned in a post, they can PM the poster. So I don't see a problem here.

One thing to bear in mind is that there are several branches of LE. There are the individual Police Stations, and also there are one or more Vice Squads. There is, I understand, a Vice Squad for the whole of Colombo and suburbs, and there is a Mirihana Vice Squad which also raids outside the Mirihana area.
In some cases, a TEP may have "squared things" with the local Police Station, but not with the Vice Squad. This may be the case with TEP 1.

Welcome to Sri Lanka, your previous posts indicate that you post in Columbia.

To answer your questions NO! it is my opinion you will not go to jail as you are a foreigner, your door man or bell boy or the hotel taxi drivers will be the best persons to recommend you some action (by the way which may be available in the hotel you are currently staying too - however you have not mentioned the hotel you are in)

You also could go to the VIP clubs/Casino (which locals are not allowed to visit, these are 100% safe but expensive I believe)

As a foreigner you are in a much better position to enjoy so do not let any negative posts spoil this, this is more applicable to Sri Lankans. I do not think you have anythng to fear. You may will be able to pickup upscale women and take them to you room without any problem however I would advice you to lock away your valuables when entertaining a lady or ladies. The mamimum you would pay probably pay for an upscale lady is US 100 for 2 shots but depending your luck it may be much cheaper.

If you head over to the Galadari Hotel the SPA there has Thai on the menu if you get my drift. All the 5 star hotels that have night clubs are potential for upscale pickups, you need to keep your eyes open and you will see, if you hang around till late in the night at one of the night clubs (Taj is just opposite the Galle face Hotel) speak to the barman etc, you should not have problem picking up talent then take them over to your hotel.

Without sounding too negative I know for a fact that this Govt has decided to firmly crack down on MP's since about 1- 2 years ago and we are seeing the results now. From Lily. Whites to Alokas and the rest which were in full swing but no more! It may not be any better in the future. A HJ which was taken as granted 2 years ago in ANY MP as a minimum is now something that is now not part of the normal menu going by personal experience. Just an idea. In case the same regime is returned after the 26th Jan probably the same ideas on these crack downs will remain. So why not try to canvass in whatever way we can for a designated area like in Singapore where mongering activity can take place! (Some of us mongers surely must be having friends in high places). That seems to be the only option. I know they have an idea of doing this for casinos down DR Wijewardena Mw(Lake house road). We then do not have worry about raids and the like. Food for thought!

The sad reality is irrespective of which political party rules, this country will never ever be like Singapore specifically with reference to Red Light areas (and in other areas too Lol...). It will be political suicide for any party to make such promises.

Even if the people in the highest places want to do so it will never happen unless the mind set of at least 80% of the adult population is changed and by this I don't mean the extra horney guys like most of us, but a large consensus of the population and this should not be not gender based either (meaning that a lot of the women folk too are broad minded enough to vote for such a political party and accept the need for a Red Light district), Do you honestly see this happening, I don't.

Even in Thailand prostitution is not legal unbelievable as this may seem.

What we should hope for is a governance that recognizes that a certain amount of "naughty activity" should be allowed to flourish instead of making it their campaign to vanquish it with their "Holier than Thou" attitude.
BTW this is just my opinion others may of course think differently.

I am a new member to ISG and have been a regular reader of reports and find it very interesting. I would like to share my recent experience at the above MP. Made the appointment at 11. 30am, and a guy answered the phone. Got there on time, looks like a clean and reputed place towards seaside. Thanks to Tea Boy I was able to visit this place and take this lady, I walked in and the Dr asked me what type of massage I wanted I said full body massage and then there was a lady sitting at the counter I asked her for the masseuse by name and paid the money, she was older than I expected I was taken up two flight of stairs to a cubicle and what followed is a sort of good hard massage, however I found her hands a little too rough for my liking, At the end of the massage I was not in the mood for a HJ so I declined paid her a good tip and left. As TB mentioned I am sure HJ is guaranteed also I think BJ too might be possible for regulars

Looks 4/10 she must be in her mid 30's but average lookng and pleasant.
One downside is that the oil or power they use has a strong smell make sure you wash it off if you have to go home to a wife /girlfriend.

Hi my reference to Taj was in response to a monger for pickup of a lady from the night club there, the is no MP there that offers the services of GH or JH that I know of, sorry if this caused some confusion.

There is this Spa in Mount wherer there is this incredible cute girl (she is over 22yo but is younger looking),
She is very thin and very fair about 4'9, she gives you a very soft massage her fingers are like petals of a flower, however it is possible you will not get a HJ on your first visit as the management is very afraid of being busted.
