Guys,
This is my first ever report so bear with me.
So I have been reading this forum for quite some time and finally decided to share my experience with others. So to start off with I have only done 4 instances of mongering in my life so far. I am surprised that no member has up to now posted a review of this place. It is situated in a posh area of Colombo near to the Town Hall, but it is discreet because it is on a side lane off Rosmead Place. There is no name-board, only the number is marked - 27/6. There is no simple answer to your question. What is clearly illegal in Sri Lanka is a "brothel", also referred to as "a house of ill fame. So the question is whether giving a handjob makes a spa into a brothel. There was a good article in the Daily News about this:

Generally what you get out of a FL over a two hours is of much quality compared to a hour at a MP. So when it comes to ROI and safely, FL is the best choice.

Don't remember the name. It was on Galle Road, a couple of meters (50-150?) towards the center starting from McDonalds (same street side as McD). It was a stair starting right from the street on the righthand end of a shopping window, up to 1st floor. If I remember correctly, the shop window which took up all the left side of the building front was decorated in white. I put the word spa within inverted commas because the spa I am referring to does not fit the dictionary definition of "a commercial establishment providing facilities devoted especially to health, fitness, weight loss, beauty, and relaxation". If anyone wants to know what a real spa is like, they could visit the Sanctuary Spa at 47/1, Jawatte Road. Obviously no extras are provided here. The last time I visited that place a few years ago there was a photo of the then Prime Minister (now the present pm) declaring the place open. I was told that gents would be massaged by a male therapist. When I told the receptionist that I was not happy about this, she said the local girls did not want to massage gents, but there was an Indonesian woman who could massage me. She gave me a good massage but nothing more. As I said, this was a few years ago and I don't know whether there are any foreign therapists still working there.
To return to the topic of the Tamil girl Shani, she works at the so-called Wasana Spa, Slave Island branch. She said she is 26 years old, but I suppose she could be 28 or 29. WW.Totally agree with you on this! I have done this and learnt my lessons. I used to be extremely sympathetic over these girls when they spit out their sad stories until I realized that they earn double the salary of a private sector manager. And 90% of them (at least the ones I have come across) try to rip you off telling loads of crocodile shit. Over paying them spoils them and when a monger settles for the usual rates they provide a bad service which results in less satisfaction and VFM. This collectively just puts the rates up. If they provide you an absolutely brilliant service, paying them an extra hundred or two hundred bucks to the discussed tip after the service as an appreciation is a different story, but going as far as to paying them. 5 k to 1 k and upwards extra to the normal rates is just ridiculous!

Sorry for your experience but nothing on my report mentioned the place is above average. It's a hacked out excuse for a Spa as 90% of spas in LK.
I was unaware of the casual dress code on Sundays. That's for that info.
