Anyone know of any hotels that have proper bed mirrors, maybe a swing, or a sex chair?

Be it short time hotels or not.

Preferably near Suk, because the only options I could find in Bangkok were really far from Suk.This is a little far from Suk, but the only hotel I know of like that is Penthouse Hotel in Pattaya.

Are there any hotels that have normal beds? On my last trip, I stayed at two different hotels where the beds were 3 feet off the ground and very soft. Sleeping on the beds was a problem and gave me back spasms. Has anyone else experienced such problems? Does anyone have any experience where the beds were "normal" by US standards and "firmer"?Plenty of Hotels have hard beds. Grand Business Inn Soi 11, Citadines Soi 23, etc. I hate hard beds.

Hello,

First time to Thailand and want to make the smart choice with where we stay. I had planned on staying at the Nana Hotel for ease of access, but are debating with a friend being that close. He wants to try to hook up with "non pros" and women visiting and just visit the other adult attractions. Any opinions for or against that course of action?

Yes, CV I agree. Also, if you arrive late evening or have had a busy day, and it is after midnight, then call and ask for a massage. Concierge will get it arranged. Had some pleasant experiences.

I really like this hotel, as it only cost $70.00 cnd / night, has a pool and a small gym. Also, most importantly its girl friendly. Walked in and out with several different girls, and not even an acknowledgment from the front desks. Rooms are nice and clean, and only a few minute walk to Soi Cowboy action. ASOK station and Terminal 21 are only a short walk away as well.

How girl friendly is Mac Boutique Suites on Sukhumvit Soi7? What is the joiner policy of the management? Few web sites claim this hotel to be girl friendly as many others in the area. If anyone of the forum members have stayed in this hotel, please share your experience & thoughts. Have a trip coming up mid of next week.

It's girl friendly, big rooms from what I remember. I wouldn't pay over $35 for it though.

Stayed here for a night. Can be avoided- there were no chairs, no locker and the guy was pushy about the upfront payment. I kind of mis placed my access card and they re-issued a new one. When I found the old one back, they couldn't re-activate for a long time. And every time, I had to walk down from the 3rd floor. No lift either.

Complimentary breakfast including a bulls eye (sunny side up), 2 slices of bread, a piece of and unlimited tea / coffee / juice. The only saving grace is that it's right outside the Hua Lampong BTS station.

Also consider Paradiso Boutique Suites it is in between Nana & Soi cowboy amazing location lovely rooms & very affordable I got a good deal for THB 1000 per night & of course it is guest friendly the best part is if you are too tired then you have Therma bar exactly opp just have to cross the road & you have plenty of freelancers there.

Looking for some advice from this experienced board. Heading to BKK in a month for 10 days, been looking forward to this trip for a while. Read probably way too much about hotels / locations / etc and my heads spinning. Contemplating staying in two places and hopping around, but would rather find a good home base.

Ideally looking for a place with a pool and gym to keep occupied in the morning / afternoon. And want something in walking distance to Thermae and Cowboy. Sure I will visit Nana as well. Dream hotel is top of the list right now and seems to meet the requirements with a breakfast.

Breakfast there any good? And, should I expect bargirls to make the walk back from Cowboy or Nana to Dream, or should I factor in having to taxi around? Google shows 10 min walk, is that going to be a point of contention with the ladies?

Thanks!

I overheard on Soi 4 the other night as the bars emptied out "he says 300 baht". Girl to customer before they get into taxi. Customer said ok and they got in. Must have been going to the airport.

Tuk Tuks are for tourists only or in emergency in a traffic jam. They always charge rip off prices. Thais do not use them in Bangkok. Tuk Tuk will never be cheap with or without a Thai girl (almost never).

For taxis, you cannot get a good price from a guy that has parked and exited his Taxi. I refuse to talk to them. You can get a meter use from a Taxi that is driving past, that you flag down, providing you are not in Soi 4, Soi 23, etc.

I don't find having girls with me makes very much difference, although I do speak Thai.

I don't find having girls with me makes very much difference, although I do speak Thai.I only speak Thai a very little bit, enough to give the driver instructions or directions if needed. But, like you, having a Thai girl with me does not mean I will get a fair deal or that the driver will certainly use the meter. I am still a Farang, with or without a Thai girl sitting next to me! LOL. And I don't recall a Thai girl ever waving off a taxi from the lower Sukhumvit area because, seeing me, he cited 100 baht off meter to take us to a destination she and I both know a meter would register 35-37 baht. In fact, Thai girls are the only ones who seem insistent on my rounding up whatever the fare is on a meter in order to give the driver a "tip", even when he has done nothing extraordinary about driving us a few blocks, which most anyone else in a taxi with me will say is not necessary.

Tuk tuk's are often more available in the Nana Soi cowboy area for a short ride and again the girls I was with weren't giving even an extra baht to them and they new it.

Staying early February, aiming several days in Bangkok. Seeing some good prices for dream hotel, about 60-80 $ a night.

I'm looking for a place with breakfast, a gym, a bar, close to both red light districts, and girl friendly (max two girls at once, might be rowdy and do 3-4 girls in a day though).

Any thoughts if the girl issue will be a problem at dream? Everything else seems good from what I've read here and heard.

You can bring one girl at a time, any number of times in a day if you have booked a room for double occupancy without any extra charge but if you bring two girls together they are likely to charge you. I never brought two girls together. Better check with them beforehand.

Golden Rule 1: Always contact hotel direct and get joiner policy. For new hotels I carry reply with me for proof on first visit. I often phrase " I am considering booking your hotel for a lengthy stay and will have some ladies discretely visiting me throughout my stay. Hopefully this will not be a problem" They can read between the lines. Or in more liberal countries like Thai, Phil, Indon, Malays etc I just come out and ask for joiner policy.

Golden Rule 2: Always book for 2 - its amazing how many sisters, cousins, auntie's and other family girls I have come visit me. BUT expect if you want a double some will charge.

Remember PPPPPP. Proper planning prevents [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) poor performance.

Soi 19 or T21 to 33 and beyond is Causations and Japanese. I prefer Soi 19 to 33. The Suk is cleaner and walking is better because they do not have the crap tables that sell stuff. It just feels better.

Kind of stupid on my part since I normally book two people stay and it was only a few bucks difference yet I booked one person for a king size room. I'll contact dream to check if it'll be an issue and also hotels. Con to see if I can add a persons occupancy to my reservation.

When you book double occupancy the hotel allows two persons to occupy the room. You can still amend you booking to double occupancy. Shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you.I've stayed at the tower wing at Ambassador too many times in 2017, perhaps 20 knights. For some odd reason, my travel buddy pushes for this hotel. Now, here is what is wrong with it.

1 - Check in can be a nightmare. They screwed me up last time and I never got the suite that I purchased and paid for.

2. Housekeeping. Housekeeping is not good. Expect to need more toilet paper, towels, and walk on carpet that feels it hasn't been vacuumed in a month.

3. Breakfast is a battle ground. Think of 100 hungry tigers fighting for food enough for 80 hungry tigers. Don't be surprised if you never get a piece of that bacon that was promised.

4. Something will be broken in the room. The kettle. The big fabric covered light that makes the room romantic. The toilet paper holder. The squirt pump on the shampoo bottle.

5. Check out at the last possible minute can be a zoo. I had Indians barge in front of me multiple times. , they didn't wait their turn in the queue. Yes, I know, political correctness. I call them like I see them.

6. One escort girl wouldn't come to Ambassador because she thought I was Indian (I'm farang). Guilt by association.

Next trip I won't stay at Ambassador.

Next trip I won't stay at Ambassador.I complained because the washer next to the WC had shit on it and housekeeping never cleans these.

I've had Indians and Pakistanis sit at my table and even try to take my ladies chair. I had to chase them off.

Something always broken is right, and housekeeping is low staffed so they never finish in time.

Towels always missing or they never bring, they forget.

Air Con is either full on or full off. You can't set it to a comfortable level.

Arabs that think they rule the world and are very pushy.

But you get what you pay for and the price is always the best deal. The view is great and the pool is huge.

But I have decided that nothing lower than Soi 19. There are good hotels there but not worth the hassle unless you want the Landmark.

To Robert Long & Mumbai Guy and anyone thinking of staying in Lower Sukhumvit, I have stayed at the Fraser on Soi 11 many, many times in the past. I liked the hotel because it's very affordable 4. 2-star luxury, the 1-bedroom suites are very large and comfortable, priced very competitively in the contemporary BKK market, the Hotel staff is super friendly, the hotel is extremely GF, and the location on Soi 11 is also very good for our common sport. I also enjoyed hanging out by their small, but usually quiet swimming pool on hot BKK afternoons.

The downside was always the unfriendly, up tight, smelly middle eastern female hotel guests. But they were more a joke than anything else up until my last stay at the Fraser when they became too much to deal with mainly due to their rudeness and their habit on Saturday and Sunday afternoons when they would let their young kids (a lot of young kids) run wild and take over the outdoor patio and swimming pool area which made it impossible for me and my sexy Thai friends to relax and have a good time there.

The typical scenario I encountered was the mother or mothers wrapped head to foot in a wool blanket would stay in the air-conditioned restaurant letting her kids run amok outside by the pool. Other hotel guests (Westerners) were forced to put up with the resulting chaos and commotion and on more than one occasion I was forced to tell the children not to splash or yell so loud around me. It did no good of course until I raised my voice and became the pool disciplinarian. Then one of the fathers came over to me and said I was not a polite man. I told him if he took better care of his kids I wouldn't have had to say anything to them.

On another occasion, a Muslim looking male guest came over near where my girls and I were lounging and drinking Tequila and gave us the stare for a prolonged period of time like we should get the fuck out. I looked him straight in the eye and asked if he had a problem and he walked away.

Anyway, I estimate that at least 50% of the guests that now stay at the Fraser are middle eastern Muslim and it's too much for me. I have had enough. 555! From now on, I won't stay anywhere lower than Soi 19. There are plenty of very good hotel selections at various price points, the restaurants are better as well as the neighborhood. Examples: Soi 19 (Grand Mercure), Soi 23 (Admiral Premier), Soi 27 (Radisson Blu), Soi 24 (Marriott Exec Apartments, Hyatt Place, Hilton), Soi 29 (Mermaid), Soi 57 (Marriott Exec Apartments) etc.

I am sorry if this post offends anyone. Not really, because I find large numbers (not all) of these middle eastern people to be very crude and low class. They are also very inconsiderate and completely oblivious of their own rude behavior or more likely just don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. Here is another example: I went to breakfast one morning while staying at the Fraser. I put down my newspaper and reading glasses at a table near the window and walked over to the buffet table. When I returned to my table an older Muslim woman all decked out head to foot had taken my table. I politely informed her that she was sitting at my table and pointed out my paper and glasses still on the table. Her response was No, this is my table. So I left her with a little verbal hand grenade and took a table on the other side of the dining room as far as I could get from that smelly cunnt!

But who cares. I now choose to avoid them and the hotels they frequent, thus removing them as a group from my radar screen. The Thais put up with them to a certain degree because it is profitable for them to do so. I don't have to put up with them so I won't.

The breakfast seating is 15 feet from the elevator and your fridge can easily hold the food for your guest when she wakes up. Or if your coming back after a late night and know you'll miss the free breakfast you can always grab a plate before hitting the sack.

LOL I am not sure I would have put up with their shit.

I guess you are indirectly not recommending the Fraser.

I hate family Hotels, Chinese tours, Hallal Hotels etc.

It's nice to have a serenely quiet hassle free Hotel.

One of my quite bad experiences was in Thai Hotel, Dinsor road, Banglampoo (vicinity) many years ago. Room near to mine was having a party, and bottles would crash to the floor every so often keeping me awake (no carpet I think). Finally the party ended, and shortly the Hotel's roosters started crowing at maybe 5 AM. I decided to kill the roosters, if getting a chance.

Amazing how Thais can stand to live of stay near locations very noisy at 5 am in the morning, like next to markets.

I know children can be a PITA sometimes but geez mate, they are in a swimming pool. What do you expect? Let them play.
Or could you not stand the splashing and yelling because you had a hangover?

And almost all children behave like that in a swimming pool. Not just muslim children.

Then one of the fathers came over to me and said I was not a polite man..I agree. Large groups of Middle Eastern families do not fit in or try to fit in. I also try to stay away from Hotels they frequent in large numbers.

And almost all children behave like that in a swimming pool. Not just muslim children.True, if the children are left unsupervised by negligent parents. False, if the children are properly supervised. I have spent enough time in hotel swimming pools to notice the difference in behaviors as well as take note of the nationalities involved. My findings are all nationalities have some examples of the guilty parties and bad parentage, but the Arab & Chinese families appear to be the main perpetrators. This is not a statistical study, just my observations over the years.

It is the same thing in restaurants. Some parents let their children scream and act up in restaurants, quality restaurants, completely ignoring their anti-social behavior. Others do not.

Whatever happened to the idea that children should be seen not heard. I guess I am old school and firmly believe that when a child starts to act up in a social setting like a swimming pool or restaurant, the parents should do something about it including removing the child from the situation when all else fails. Some parents follow this precept. Unfortunately, many do not.

I don't know about you and your upbringing, but my parents never permitted my sister or I to go wild in a public setting. From an early age on I was taught to behave properly in restaurants and hotel swimming pools like the Eden Roc & Fontainebleau in Miami and when I didn't behave, look out! LOL.

Perhaps I did not describe the situation at the Fraser well enough for you. The weekend Muslim kids were screaming, running around and continually bumping into my lounge chair before I was forced to speak up and act as the disciplinarian. They were throwing decorative rocks into the swimming pool. A destructive behavior. And might I remind you that this is a private pool in a somewhat upscale 4 star plus hotel. Not romper room! As a result, I did not book with Fraser for my next trip even though they offered me a great rate of $78/ night including breakfast for a balcony superior 80 sq meter room. If the kid situation I described above does not bother you, then I recommend that you stay here. Like I said previously, it is a very friendly, GF hotel. The smelly Muslim women hotel guests will shun you and your female friends and not get into the same elevator car with you, but who cares about that. That is humorous. Many nights my girls and I would laugh between ourselves and hold our noses after we got into the eleavator just after a bunch of Muslim women had left it. Even the Fraser lobby stank on some nights. Culture clash!

I have seen many an instance of Arab, Chinese and Sub continent people and / or children displaying behaviour that would be considered rude and lacking regard for others.

I am constantly amazed how esp parents of these groups stand by and let their kids yell, scream, hit and generally run amuck in a public place oblivious to the rights of others.

Now I know how most Caucasians would respond to their children displaying this behaviour. Embarrassment and a scolding. But how do you respond " because you had a hangover?

Go on call me a racist or something like that. And then go read the section in the Quranic Verses on child upbringing.

Have you ever been in Holland (my country)? Dutch children in public places are awful most of the time, no matter if they are supervised or not. That doesn't make much difference because they simply ignore their parents.

Even good parents are not able to control these young kids on long haul flights most of the time. There should be a special section of the plane for the families with children. They jump around, they scream, etc. Kick the back of the seat in front (and the parents do little about it). However it is the extreme arrogance of some of the adults that irritates me most. The children can't be blamed so much.

Strangely, I have rarely had a problem of being seated next to someone that is really obese, and rarely right next to a very stinky person (sometimes get one fairly close by). Can't work out why that is.

I notice certain cultures lack consideration for others. Simple things like leaning heavily on the back of your seat. Crashing heavily into you while going past, while you try to sleep maybe. Insisting to have their elbows in my seat space, etc. Standing with a drink (potentially spilled) right next to where you are seated for long periods. Standing on my feet if I am seated in the front row. Etc. Even older Germans lack consideration for other passengers. They are not taught to look where they are going, since childhood. Just an example. It is generally known that Americans are more polite than most cultures (I am not American).

Many cultures lack "Greng Jai" the concern for disturbing and imposing on others. Cigar smokers in bars don't care how it affects other customers. I can't sit near anyone with bad be. O. Or Cigar smokers.

Even a good percentage of Thais know this word very well but still lack the feeling of "Greng Jai".

Adults are a different matter. I usually find that Asians have few considerations for others and that is evident from the time you queue at the airport for luggage screening as they seem to think that they must push and invade personnel space with scant regard for anyone else, sitting in any seat that suits them on the plane, standing to alight the plane when it is still taxiing and my pet hate the violent reclining of the chair in front even if on a short flight. I have become a cranky old bastard and I don't tolerate this any more and I find the best remedy is to confront as most Asians find it embarrassing if they are called on their poor behaviour and will usually conform.

Do any of the good hotels in Bangkok have spas where therapists give extras (May be not FS but at least HJ)? On my trio to some other countries in SE Asia like Indonesia and Vietnam, I had therapists in 5 star hotels offering such services. It's a different feeling to get such offerings in 5 star as the ladies are slightly more upclass if not more beautiful than options available outside. Anyone had any experience in Bangkok / Thailand?

Still most "better" hotel might have for sure a policy that staff who have sex with guests will get fired. That's why I think most girls will be reluctant to give such advanced services.

However, I am sure the therapists would be sure of not discussing such stuff with anyone else among the hotel staff. This would be a strict code of conduct between the guest and the therapist.

As an example, I was staying at a 5 star in Jakarta for a month. Every weekend I took a massage in my hotel room itself using the hotel's in room massage service (4 massages in total spread across 3 therapists). While one of the therapists gave me an HJ without me asking for it (as if it was an extension of a regular massage), and was surprised when I tipped her (and hence I repeated her again before leaving), the other 2 were more upfront in asking what I wanted and while they themselves offered the service, they were quite insistent on that I do not tell about this to anyone, including other therapists. One of them agreed for a B2 B if I booked a 90 min slot (saying she needed enough time to clean up and dry herself to avoid any suspicion from management); however, did not get a chance to repeat her. Moreover, did not want to sound an alarm with the spa manager by requesting specific therapists again and again.

Anyways, coming back to the topic, it would be a gold mine if I can get a Thai / Viet girl in a 4/5 star hotel at their hotel spa, even if its not FS.

I'm with you Syzygies on this one. There should be a special place in hell reserved for inconsiderate fuckers who allow their kids to run riot in planes and airport lounges, totally oblivious to the impact of the behavior of their little darlings on others.

Some people view the plane and airport experience as an adventure, which gives them the right to let their kids do whatever they like unchecked. I wonder what they mean by "direct access"? Is it possible they will build an above ground connector from the beginning of Soi 13 to the BTS platform?Probably. The new Q House condo complex on the other side of Sukhumvit Road at Soi 6 already has a small bridge connecting their building directly to the Nana bts station. Not open yet. They also have a private elevator at the sidewalk level so their tenants who aren't already starting out from inside the complex won't have to co-mingle with the riff raff on the ride up the escalator to get to a bts train. 30 million baht and up is all you need to gain entry.

However, there isn't much of a skywalk there, just the bts station. So anyone coming from the Hyatt Regency or the Q House isn't really going to be able to use that elevated platform as a pathway to and from Nana Entertainment Plaza or anywhere else in the opposite direction. Not unless the government extends the skywalk to take pedestrians all the way to Soi 4 or back to Asok or wherever. That particular station, Nana, is kind of an island unto itself for now and not connected to any other stations via a skywalk. As a "skywalk" it is only useful for getting you across Sukhumvit Road without waiting for a break in the traffic or just to access Nana bts station.

In terms of crowd avoidance and shelter from rain and punishing sunlight, it would be great if they extended the skywalk to stretch uninterrupted from EmQuartier/Emporium at one end to MBK at the other, I'd say the most dense shopping and entertainment venue stretch in Bangkok. And it wouldn't be that big a project to make that happen except for where the expressway blocks almost any reasonable or practical skywalk type option just past Soi 4. Ok, so we'd be forced to come down off the skywalk at Soi 4 and then be able to resume the journey via skywalk at Ploen Chit on the other side of the expressway. I would probably want to come down off the skywalk right about there most of the time anyway, even if just for a few minutes. lol. But I don't know of any real plan for them to do that.

Stayed here earlier this week. Very nicely equipped rooms. Had a small exec suite on 8th floor. Couch, sliding room partition, small well furnished kitchen.

No problems (as previously mentioned) with girls coming up. Just leave an ID at reception. When girl arrives, reception calls you to confirm and then gives her access to the lift, which otherwise requires door keycard to function. Call again to check all ok when she's leaving. Good bed, and fairly soundproof rooms. There's an attached hotel, street facing bar next to entrance, possibly convenient for meeting to screen if booked online etc.

The Shangri La is nice if you like the old traditional thai style decor. As for the Peninsula, it has a little more modern decor but the price is quite steep. I would recommend the Mandarin Oriental instead of the Peninsula as their price is similar but you'll get a far nicer room (in my opinion) with a lot of freebies. All the above mentioned hotels do not question who you bring to your room or keep their IDs.

RL.Robert, then you would be surprised where some Go Go girls; the attractive ones end up spending the night. Personally, I do not believe that most internet Escorts are better looking than say the top 10% of Go Go girls from the better Go Go's, but I could be wrong since I base my opinion on escort pictures only vs my actual experiences with Go Go girls in the flesh.

Shemp, the only thing wrong with staying at one of the River 5 star plus hotels IMHO is location location location. It's a long way from Nana in both time and logistics, so if you really want to stay at the Peninsula, which is a really great hotel, BTW, or the Mandarin Oriental, another excellent hotel then I would suggest that you target Patpong instead of Sukhumvit. Or another option that I would consider only at the top, top hotels would be to speak with the Peninsula or Mandarin Oriental concierge and have him send up a girl. The results might be interesting. Please report back if you try this option. 555

P.S. On my 1st trip to BKK I stayed at the Oriental with my then American fiance. It was just the Oriental Hotel back then. The engagement thing was her idea, not mine. We had a fight one night and I left her to sulk in the hotel rooom while I went out to Patpong and had my 1st taste of Thai. It felt good. Then at least 15 years later I stayed for a few nights at the Peninsula Hotel across the river. The Pen had just opened for business and I got an unbelievable, soft opeining, too good to refuse rate of $125/night including buffet breakfast for two.

Of course, there are some really excellent 5-star hotels much closer to the action that you might want to consider. Let's see: There is the Sukhothai, the St. Regis, the Siam Kempinski, the Park Hyatt, and the Sheraton Sukhumvit to name just a few. OK, the Sheraton might be 1/4 star below the rest, but you can't fucking beat its location.

Oh right I forgot to add that The Sukhothai is amazing, but the problem I had during my stay there was that my room was literally on the other side of the entire hotel. The walk to and fro was so tiring I actually would not stay there again if there was no other rooms available nearer to the entrance.

Hello everyone!

Planning a trip to Bangkok this spring and I'm looking at the S15 Hotel.

OK to take a friend to your room in this hotel?

Best regards,

I would stay at the Oriental, despite the negative report from Tiny. If is a great hotel with a lot of history and a long list of famous guests. You can go see a show, cruise around, learn to cook etc. Peninsula is also great but Oriental is the grand dame.

The problem is the walk of shame or train ride of shame. The girls you bring back might not have regular clothing or heels less than 4 inches. So long walks might not be appreciated unless you have a foot fetish.

As Natty Bumpo said, location location location. Don't expect to be going back and forth between the Oriental and Nana or other places more than even a couple times a day. One compromise is the split your trip between a nearby play hotel first and then Oriental at the end of the trip. You can build a telephone list and even ask the ladies to make the trip to the Oriental in rotation.

I would double check your hotel bill the day before checkout at least if not daily. Make sure your reservation is for double occupancy and maybe 2 breakfasts.

I was thinking of going big on my once in a lifetime trip to Bangkok & staying at a 5 star on the river. Anybody had any experience staying at the Peninsula or the Shangri-La, & would I be able to bring dates to the hotel? How far are these hotels from the Soi Cowboy / Nana areas?
I have stayed at almost every 5 star hotel in Bangkok at least once. Both hotels have impeccable service and cleanliness.
Oh right I forgot to add that The Sukhothai is amazing

Shemp, the only thing wrong with staying at one of the River 5 star plus hotels IMHO is location location location. It's a long way from Nana in both time and logistics, so if you really want to stay at the Peninsula, which is a really great hotel, BTW, or the Mandarin Oriental, another excellent hotel then I would suggest that you target Patpong instead of Sukhumvit. Or another option that I would consider only at the top, top hotels would be to speak with the Peninsula or Mandarin Oriental concierge and have him send up a girl. The results might be interesting. Please report back if you try this option. 555

Hello!

Planning a trip to Bangkok this spring and I'm thinking about the S15 Hotel right on the corner of Soi15/ Sukhumvit Road.

Anyone know if it's ok to bring a girl back to your room in this hotel?

I only smuggled one woman into the hotel, whose physical appearance was as described, and it was late at night. I told her before our date to dress conservatively and it went in one ear and out the other. Also I told the bellman before I left the hotel that evening I had a date, and asked him if there would be a problem bringing her back if I got lucky. He was entertained by that and told me no, and he'd give reception a heads up.

No problem going in, but she and I got the third degree leaving at about 6:00 AM, which was a problem because I had a flight that morning and not a lot of time to burn. Also they were supposed to give me a free night so I was arguing about that at the same time they were inquisitioning me about the unregistered guest.

The part about walking past society matrons was fiction, but if you walk through the lobby during the daytime there's a good chance you'll run across Thai hi so types. They seem to attract a lot of local business for events and meetings. I would not recommend the Mandarin Oriental if you're going to bring back dates, even though there was no joiner charge.Great report Tiny. A high-class joint like the Mandarin should not have given you or your girl any trouble under any circumstances, but your simultaneous early morning checkout & the girly departure was apparently too much to handle efficiently for one of their front desk employees. In the end I hope you received your free night.

When I stayed there in '89 it was still just the Oriental, a very historic and special BKK hotel. I think it is still a pretty good 5 star, but it's obvious that individual service and attention has declined a wee bit since the hotel became a part of the huge Mandarin Hotel chain. I wouldn't consider staying there again unless I were bringing an American girlfriend to BKK. But the idea of bringing sand to this particular beach is loco IMHO.

I've stayed at the Park Hyatt, it's a great hotel and the location is better than the Grand Hyatt. Reasonably easy walk to Nana and cheap taxi back.I frequently stay at various Asian Hyatt Hotels. The Grand Hyatt Jakarta is one of my favorite hotels due to its central location, large standard rooms, and amazing swimming pool / garden space.

I have also stayed at the Hyatt City of Dreams in Manila. Its not as nice a hotel as the Grand in Jakarta, but it is very convenient to be part of the City of Dreams gambling complex with it's 24-hour restaurants and a couple of high class nightclub pickup joints. It is almost like a mini Macau. 555. Only the food is not as good.

As I am sure you are aware, Hyatt is expanding into BKK big time. In addition to the Grand Hyatt Erawan, which has been around for a long time and is still a pretty nice hotel, and the 5-star Hyatt Park, where you stayed, they have recently opened up a Hyatt Place on Soi 24 almost directly opposite many favorite oily massage shops LOL, and they plan to open soon a Hyatt Regency on Sukhumvit and Soi 13. More quality hotels means more available rooms means relative prices will remain low, although it also means expect MORE tourists!

The Hyatt Park is a little too rich for my blood, but the basement food court in the Central Embassy Mall adjacent to the Hyatt Park is really good, expensive too, but maybe the best mall food court in BKK. The food is a lot better than the T21 food court, IMHO, and it is a lot less crowded.

Hey Natty, Thanks for the kind comments, and hope I don't seem like I'm stalking you. I'm tempted to stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan next time I'm in Bangkok. Any experience there? I like that area of town, and have trekked over to Spasso's at the Grand Hyatt when staying nearby at the Intercontinental and Four Seasons. It would be nice to be in the same building.

I'm not as fond of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta as you are. I was last there about 5 years ago, and it was getting a little worn around the edges. I prefer the Mulia or the Shangrila. The Mulia is nicer, and both have hot and cold running women, at CJ's and BATS.

FWIW, the only good thing about that Grand Hyatt is that you can run around (a long way) to Dunkin Donuts and pick up a dozen before heading out. Close to where the bomb went off. As the other posters have said, there are pluses and minus to all the hotels, like the long quiet walks at the Sukhothai.

Rooms are a bit small but it's really good value and the location is reasonable good. Not much of a walk to the BTS. I pretty much exclusively stay at the Hyatt if there is one where I'm going. Agree the Grand Hyatt in Jakarta is one of the best. Rooms are absolutely huge. I think the best I've stayed in would be the Park Hyatt in Seoul. Grand Hyatt in Seoul is also nice and it's handy to hooker hill if the weather is nice, pretty easy walk. The Hyatt is Singapore is pretty good too and it's in a great location.

Can anyone suggest good 4 star hotel very near to Asoke BTS? Anyway suggestions. Much appreciated. You're probably looking for closer but I can always recommend you Hotel Mermaid Bangkok. Go for the corner suite king bed with balcony which cost you about USD 75 excluding breakfast. Have been staying there for 4 or 5 times now and have been very happy. 5 minutes walking distance from Asoke and Soi Cowboy.

Another one which is near Asoke is Park Plaza Sukhumvit very near to Asoke. Stayed in Deluxe corner room which are nice as well but for some reason they're double the price comparing with Mermaid Bangkok.

The main drawback that I see is that it is a bit far from the action on Sukhumvit. This is why I have never been back.

Thanks.Nana Hotel would probably work best for bringing in 2 girls. They have a security guy sitting by the elevators but he's past the elevators so you don't actually have to walk past the guy to get to the elevators. He takes the girls ID and your room number but if you go right to the elevators it shouldn't be a problem. I would try to time it so there's other guests heading towards the elevator ahead of you so as you are turning the corner they are getting on.

I have bought 2 girls back to my room in the Nana Hotel on many occasions without any problem. As suggested, just wait until the lift area is busy, ignore the security guy at the desk and just enter the lift. Easy. Oh the memories with those multiple guests!

The Mother Ship 'Nana' is my home away from home but I acknowledge it is not acceptable to Mongers with deeper pockets than mine. I will be back early March.

While the location and the room sizes are pretty good, the rooms lack a sense of warmth and are not cozy enough for my liking and it was a bit of a downer for me. Can confirm no one checks girl's ID or even blinks an eye at this hotel. Located above Mixx disco. Great location beside Central World. A bit overpriced but it meets Intercontinental's usual high standards.

About 60 baht taxi to both Patpong and Nana Plaza. Problem was catching a taxi who didn't want to charge 150 baht from the hotel. They see you at a nice hotel and think you must be a stupid tourist.

Dream Hotel Soi 15.

I stayed at this place the last time I was there. It was a tad expensive at $75 usd but the rooms were really nice. The bed and pillows were excellent. The staff was perfect. The wifi worked well.

The real positive is that they don't care about guests. They just have to leave their ID at the desk. Also the rooms are lit like a sex hotel should be. They are really sexy.

It is located 270 meters from the Thermae and all of the street prostitutes in that area. It is in easy walking distance of Nana and decent walking distance of Soi Cowboy. Som's heaven is closer than those two which is where I went to get a BJ every single day before exploring Bangkok.

I would recommend.

I highly recommend the Continent hotel -- not to be confused with the Intercontinental. It is a luxury hotel at a very good price. It is a skyscraper but only has like 6 rooms per floor. It is literally two blocks from Soi Cowboy but you'd never know it. It's tucked in and you'd never know its there. So you can just walk back to your room. Super convenient.

They do check the girls ID at the desk, but it's totally cool. It is great to enjoy a girl from one of the clubs. My girl was a hottie from Sharks -- in a lux room looking out to the city. Really a great value and totally unexpected.

Grand Hyatt Erawan is great. The Hyatt in Jakarta has been renovated since you were last there, I stayed there quite often around 18 months ago.I love Spasso with its live music and unbelievably beautiful selection of well dressed women. I think it would be an ideal location to dance, pick out a girl for short time, go back dancing and take one for the evening.

Two questions arise, however. My guess is that the women are expensive (not a game killer), but does anyone know the range of costs in Spasso? And second, as costs and GFE are not necessarily related, is GFE available? (I define GFE as a high level of sweetness, low level of complaints, no problems with DFK and BBBJ).

I assume the hotel is very girl friendly. Correct me if I am wrong. THANKS.

P.S. At the mid range in costs, but high end in quality of the room, ambience, girl friendly and clean, I recommend Bless Residence Inn, 10 Sukhumvit Soi 33/2. I have stayed there many times, the rooms are huge and they don't bat an eyelash when you return with four ladies.

The price range at Spasso's varies based on supply, demand and time of the night. I've been quoted from 3,500 to 10,000 for an overnight. Early during the night, if club is packed, ladies tend to keep to their high end of their asking price (more time for them to work and good prospects that they can land someone without negotiating much), but as the night comes to an end, their asking price becomes more reasonable and flexible, as the prospects of having to go home empty handed increases. Regarding price and your definition of GFE, never had an issue with BBBJ, sometimes CIM is off the table, DFK is almost on always. The other is more about the girl, for some comes natural if they enjoyed the night and there was some chemistry, while for other is another act and some do not even try to act, stick to their routine, get paid and leave at the agreed time.

I've stayed there heaps of times but I've never actually been to Spasso. I think the girls there are pretty expensive, maybe 10,000 baht. Pretty sure that there are plenty of reports from others who have taken girls from here. If you search Spasso you'll probably find several detailed reports.

Correct on the ID check, but no issues with having the girl up. I didn't bring one from Cowboy, but had a decent massage girl that I had found on WeChat and prev seen on Soi 11 come over. She came late, like midnight, but stayed until the morning. 2 shots. Pisses me off I didn't retain her info as I'm going back in a couple months. But optimistic I can find her again. Hi,

Did you ever get answer to your question? Did you stay there yet? Thanks.I'm actually here as we speak.

It's a fairly good hotel, definitely guest friendly. The security just looks at the girls ID card and before they are allowed to leave the Security guy calls up to the room to make sure everything is OK.

Breakfast is not so good according to me. Maybe it's good if you are Japanese or Chinese, all kind of strange soups available. I like a couple of sandwiches and some scrambled eggs. One sort of bread, one cheese, that's it. Sure I can order scrambled eggs from the "egg corner" but there is no bacon.

Anyhow. I like the hotel and I have my own Jacuzzi in my room.

There is a large sign in lobby indicating it is not legal but, to date, I have not had any issues whatsoever. There has not been any issues bringing up a girl. And no such crap about a 2000 bt charge. The guy whom I deal with is kind of the overseer of about four different condos with different owners that he Airbrb manages. I meet him off premises with a transfer of the key. And as you said in your query he says to not a) ask for any kind of help, b) if asked say you are a friend visiting. I have got to know him so, as said to date, no issues.

I'm actually here as we speak.

Anyhow. I like the hotel and I have my own Jacuzzi in my room.Thank you.

Hi guys,

I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Soi11 in a few days. In general, are hotels in BKK GF or it varies? Anyone have any idea about Holiday Inn at Soi 11 Sukhumvit? Please excuse the ignorant questions as I have been to BKK a few times before but never bothered to engage in any p4 p activity at my hotel.

Thanks.

Looking for hotel with spacious car parking, location between Nana and Asok, near Sukhumvit Road (not too much inside some side way), good wifi and of course GF. Budget around 2500 baht / night. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

Great hotel, the price is always reasonable, rooms are compact but very clean, and very very GF. They have a good sized waiting area and my girls just call or txt me from there and I bring them up on the elevator. Breakfast is included and pretty good. The clientele is mixed and generally quiet, and the receptionists very discreet.

I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Soi11 in a few days.I stayed here earlier this year. Holiday Inn is girl friendly. I had independent girls text me when they were in the lobby and I went down (the elevator requires your room card to use). Other times the reception called my room and let me know to come down to get my girl. I've also walked in holding hands with a freelancer past reception with no issues.

I've also stayed at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit 22 and all the same as above.

What's up! I booked at dream hotel on Soi 15. It was a good hotel. About 5 minute walk to terminal 21. Its pretty good. If you bring a guest they have to have their ID or passport. I would suggest looking for hotels where they take your guests identification when they come. I've heard too many stories of people getting hurt or having their items stolen.

Thanks.Depends on your price range. However two I like are Column for higher class and a bit more expensive (great views) and for a modern hotel cheap price, Mermaid. I also like Mercure Residence Soi 19. I previously liked Admiral Premier.

These are located close enough to bar and MP action for me. When you don't want to walk from Column to an Oily MP, take a motorcycle through the back Sois.

Landmark, just around the corner from Nana Plaza.I agree with WS. I always stay at Landmark in Bkk.

I am bemused though by guys like AndyD asking these questions, as it seems to me that they must not have travelled very much, do not know about hotel booking sites online or even the existence of google maps. There are literally 100's of hotels that are"close to the action" if you consider the action to be from Nana right up to Soi Ekkamai.

I prefer to choose my own hotel from the smorgasbord, since a quick read of the FF will tell you that all hotels are GF and each booking site will tell you prices and what you get for your dollar.

However, I don't consider Landmark to be 4 star, I consider that one to be 5 star. That hotel will cost about $120 a night. If you are going to pay that much, might as well stay at Terminal 21 and have easy access to the mall and soi cowboy. Personally, I don't like to spend that much per night.

Majestic Grande is also near Nana and is only about $75 a night. It's still quite nice. But there are a plethora of choices in Bangkok. You can see them on agoda. Just sort by the ratings and read the reviews, that's a safe bet in picking a good hotel.

That's why I emphasize that recommendations from other punters should be taken as a rough guide only.

I am lucky that I can afford 4 or 5-star hotels. Landmark has special deals for prices so who knows how much you end up paying? It has been there for 20 years so to my mind it's 4-star only as it's classy but a bit tired compared to the newer chain places but it's still my favorite around that area.

There's a plethora of choices, so guys should take the time to pick their own hotel that suits their preferences.

Strangely 5 Star rating requires the Hotel to have a lot of facilities that many of us won't actually use, relating to conference centres, Spas, beauty parlours, several international restaurants, etc. So 4 and 5 stars is a bit of an irrelevance. Many of us like newer hotels, or refurbished, or just pure class, a great pool and Gym, good breakfast, great views, etc.

Not many officially 5 star hotels go for $120 a night, unless on a special. Would be better if you quoted Thai Baht, Since I don't know what USA dollar is worth exactly right now. I never stayed at Landmark, but as example Column Hotel is a favourite and officially rated 4 stars and is typically costing 4600 Baht (end of April). So I would rarely take it without a special on, or if had a very hot girl with me to make it worthwhile. On same date same booking site booking.com, Landmark was rated 5 stars and quoted as 4400 Baht. So for that day appears as a better deal (maybe not? Obviously I can't say which is better for me, without trying the Landmark.

Can be a very popular hotel gets more expensive. An old favourite Admiral premier is rated 4 stars and price is 2400 baht (years ago used to have very good bargain prices before it got too popular with Chinese tours). Mermaid also 4 stars 2400 Baht. Yet for me the Column Hotel is vastly superior. Quality and experience can be somewhat unrelated to the number of stars.

Grand Mercure Asoke Residence, rated 5 stars is 3400 Baht for same date (no refund special price) with BF included and 71 sq. metre room, with Kitchenette. That is a very good deal indeed in my book, but I still rate that place lower than Column for overall experience. Like Smoothy, I don't normally want to spend this much, but could do it in right circumstances if taking girl LT. Could prefer to take Mermaid or Admiral Premier at 2400 and save money to spend on the girls.

For 4500+ Baht total, do I just want a Hotel room, or do I maybe want a room, and a fuck or BJ as well? I certainly don't need the Hotel to be very impressive if there by myself. I do know a place I can stay around 1000 Baht with small room but adequate if just for myself. Plenty of these outside the Sukhumvit monger zone but still reachable by taxi late at night in 10 to 15 mins. Maybe move up to a better room when intending to do LT.

Never understood at all, guys staying in a posh expensive Hotel, maybe spend a lot on drinks and food, but very stingy what they will spend on a girl. Hardly makes any sense to me.

I can be spending very low on food and accommodation at times, leaving a lot left over for girls.

Renting a room by the month is a good option in Bangkok if staying here for a high percentage of the time for several months.

Quality and experience can be somewhat unrelated to the number of stars.Correct. Originally the star rating was based on the number of facilities. The more facilities the higher the rating. It had nothing to do with the quality of the hotels.
However over the years more and more people started to consider the star rating as a quality rating.

I do it because I can, and I enjoy myself. I work hard so that I can indulge in some pleasurable places with good food, good wine and fellow travellers who are not on a budget.

I could say with equal validity that I don't understand why you are so choosy and picky about girls' nose shapes, pretty faces and body shape. Hardly makes any sense to me either.

During my initial visits to LOS, I used to prefer staying at 5* properties, they are well within my budget and, to be honest, I find the prices to be quite affordable. However, during my last couple of visits, I decided to stick to 4* hotels, while booking a higher category room such as an executive suite or such like. IMO, this is more VFM as you get bigger rooms, often with a separate sitting area, separate check-in desk, club facilities etc. at a similar/somewhat higher price point as entry level rooms in 5* hotels. Plus, in my experience, you tend to get pampered more. I have been able to get early check-in (at even 7 in the morning) and late check-out (up to 5 in the evening) at most of the 4* hotels when I was putting up in their top tier rooms, even during high season. Also, the room amenities are equivalent to, if not better than, 5* hotels. I agree with Red Kilt, if you can afford it, why not indulge yourself. After all, YOLO right! Plus, in my experience, I've found that this sort of decadence impresses the WGs and, in turn, translates into better service for longer duration without any additional burden. Just my thoughts on the subject.

I have nothing against people spending a lot on their Hotel if they can afford it, assuming they can also afford to spend average or above on their P4P girls, rather than be a totally stingy punter. I also don't have any problem with you hanging out with guys who have money. Each to their own and according to their means. I don't have any problem with you choosing girls to your specs too, assuming you don't take any old piece of meat.

We have seen guys staying at the J.W.Marriott in the past and complaining about any girl wanting 3K for a LT booking, or wanting more than 1.5K for a ST. That is the inconsistency I refer to that does not quite make sense to me. Surely if a guy wants a really good quality room and high priced, he probably also wants a good quality girl, and she may not be the cheapest girl going.

IMO, that is exactly how it oughta be. Having said that, I must add that there can be bewildering anomalies in the spending pattern of some well-heeled guys, which always baffle me. As an example, a buddy of mine, who visited Bali a couple of months back and had stayed at a luxury 5* resort for 4 nights, was sharing his hobbying experience with me and, to my astonishment, he told me that he travelled to some remote village to shag a 19-20 yo chick for a measly $20 or so. He spent more on the taxi, getting there, than the actual act! Of course, I didn't say anything to him, but, couldn't wrap my head around such absurd behavior. And, this is a guy who, I know for a fact, spends up to $300 a night on fancy hotel rooms and likes expensive single malt whiskey, but, finds shelling $150-200 LT on a hot number to be exorbitant. Speaking for myself, I don't find the talent in LOS to be commensurate with my taste and the reason for my hobbying, primarily, in this part of the world is that my travel buddies are not that well-off and, sadly, candy available in Dubai, Europe etc. is too rich for their blood and I don't like traveling alone. But, in the end, to each his own. One primary personality trait, this hobby demands of any fella, is to be non-judgmental and keeping your preferences, prejudices to yourself, especially if you want others to share freely with you. Of course, all this is subjective and dependent on the relation and the level of understanding you share with the opposite party. Again, this is my opinion. Feel free to disagree. Always happy to hear a contra view. Thanks.

Of course, all this is subjective and dependent on the relation and the level of understanding you share with the opposite party. Again, this is my opinion. Feel free to disagree. Not sure why I should keep personal preferences to myself. Guys can understand relevance of my report to them if I do state my preferences. If a guy has totally different taste and looks for different things, he can take my recommendations with a big grain of salt. We all understand that guys have some selection criteria, so we might as well admit it, whether its a low price, skin colour, willingness to do anal of BBFS, etc. My criteria might be quirky, like "slim thighs" as an example, just happens to be what I find sexy. Don't see why that should be a problem. Just means I am understanding moderately well what type of looks excites me.

When you say "too rich for their blood" (not a typical English phrase), I don't really have a clue what that means. Too expensive or something else?

Some guys like to travel with buddies. Not sure why. I have to travel alone and can monger anywhere I feel like it, and it is not too dangerous. Many years back girls born in my own country were largely average looking and boring. In the current age, the young ones look better. Hookers were very mechanical and had a long list of rules and restrictions (90% of them and only 10% were good). Imported Asian girls on average performed vastly better and had better attitude. I also found exotic looks more exciting, ever since my teenage years watching James Bond Movie where he goes to Japan. I also found some black girls on TV and Movies to be very exciting.

Coming to Thailand in 1991 was a monger's paradise. I was probably less fussy about Thai looks back then, still liking similar figures to today, but I did take girls whose faces today, are barely a pass. I can see from my photos some girls were not exactly stunning but the exotic effect, and good attitude overcame that. Since I was used to hookers with lots of rules, enthusiastic Thai girls with a good body was very welcome. I don't find any girls with tit jobs or nose jobs in my old photos. No big deal. I just did not choose them, or if I did, did not take a picture. In later years I found out that European girls could be really great performers too, and black girls even better (on average).

I agree that the prices of mongering in Thailand have always been an influence. Too expensive back home, for doubtful chances of a good time. 1991 I almost always had a girl for the night, since it was so cheap. I tended to stay in crappy Hotels then, as recommended by friends. Years later I could afford better Hotels, and so moved up to mainly 4 stars accommodation, and sometimes 5 stars, as discussed earlier, the number of stars was not that relevant. I always looked for value for money in Hotels.

Not all Hotels cost the same, since the quality, comfort, room size, and facilities varies so much. Unfortunately girl prices relate more to their location than to their performance, and their beauty does have an influence.

And, what I said about keeping one's preferences to oneself, it was meant in the context of a face to face discussion, especially with someone who is not a hobbyist per se and, may, fear being judged (my buddy, for example, whose experience I shared in my previous post). I should have mentioned this in my earlier post lest my remarks be construed as an attempt at generalisation, which was never the intent. Can't say I ever heard it. Perhaps not a common occurrence in my country, or at least not used in conversation. There is a lot of variations in slanfg and idioms between different English speaking countries. I initially assumed incorrectly, it may have been translated from another language. I could have spent more time doing English crosswords, instead of learning Thai, Issan, and a smattering of German. My main English reading in recent years is unfortunately technical manuals which are not big on idioms. LOL It probably did not come up in Science Fiction of which I was an avid reader in late teens. Sometimes one could hit such a phrase in a book, like one of the old time classics, and without being clear of the meaning, and just move on without looking it up. Still I fluked better than a pass grade in year 12 English, scoring a be grade. LOL.

What I write, is described as only "near English".

In a forum, I try to use very plain language allowing that not all readers have English as a first language.

Not spending a dime on hotel this time, going to use reward points only for hotel stay. Able to reserve a room at the Holiday Inn Sukhumvit on Soi 22 for a few days, then move on to the Park Hyatt and then the Grand Hyatt to redeem more free rooms. Hopefully, they can upgrade and give me free breakfast.

Are they good choices? I'm a little bit worry about the Park Hyatt, not sure if it's girl friendly.

Planning to hit the gym daily and spend most of the day in the pool with my lady (hope they like to sunbath as much as I do and of course can go back to my room if things get too hot, you know what I mean).

Up to about $75 a night now.I used to stay in Dream Soi 15 years ago. Did not seem that cheap when I was there (not from USA), but it is better to quote Thai money prices. Maybe was $US 50 since the exchange rate was very favourable years ago. Right now is about 2600 to 3000 Baht depending if booking immediately or in advance. Not a bad deal for a pretty good Hotel, but not my favourite location. There are others preferred for that sort of money.

I seem to recall a price not that much different 10+ years ago.

For 1900 Baht, can get an 85 sq. m Junior Suite (with B/F incl.) kitchenette and washing machine, at Asoke Residence (very near to Petchaburi MRT). Easy access to Sukhumvit by motorcycle (5 mins to Cowboy or Nana or the MPs). I have stayed there before due to good value. Less money for 35 sq.m room, but only save a little. B/F is only so-so, so can skip that if desired.

For top location, On 8 has some pretty good prices right now.

Planning to hit the gym daily and spend most of the day in the pool with my lady (hope they like to sunbath as much as I do and of course can go back to my room if things get too hot, you know what I mean).Thai ladies (and other SE Asian ladies) usually don't like sunbathing because they like to stay as light skinned as possible. So hopefully there's some shadow to be found around the pools of your hotels.

This might have been mentioned in the past but just in case, if you're a regular in one of the BKK hotels you stay in it is always worthwhile asking for corporate rates. They are far more better than the published rates and usually better than the cheapest rates that you can find on online travel agents such as booking.com, Agoda, etc.

I just clinched a good deal with one of my regular BKK hotels which saves me about 1500 bath spread over 5 nights comparing with the price I get from booking.com.

Thai ladies (and other SE Asian ladies) usually don't like sunbathing because they like to stay as light skinned as possible. Suntanning itself is really a North American and Mediterrean thing. In North America tanned skin is promoted by Hollywood. For the rest of the world, why would you intentionally destroy your skin cells with ultraviolet radiation and promote the risk of getting skin cancer?

I'm a regular at the Hyatt all around the world and I have a corporate rate with them through my own company. Sometimes the corporate rate is cheaper than the members rate but sometimes it isn't. It's useful to join the hotel frequent stay program anyway if you travel a lot. The corporate rate is set by the individual hotel, so sometimes I can get the best rate at the Hyatt Sukhumvit and Grand Hyatt but a better members rate at the Park Hyatt.

Only North America and the Mediterranean? You must have never been to South America to places like Venezuela and Brazil.Yes would be safer to say worldwide except for the countries where people were trying to preserve the white skin. Tanned was considered to look "healthy" in my country but eventually the tanning salon solariums were banned. For most of us oldies, we were unaware we were destroying our skin by getting too much sun, when young, despite the high rates of skin cancers.

This is just one of things that make Thais thing Farangs are really dumb. Farang girls that tanned a lot became old hags. Thai village girls often got too much sun and also became old hags.

Yet the first time we saw Thai girls walking in Phuket midday sun under an umbrella (no rain), we laughed, right?

why would you intentionally destroy your skin cells with ultraviolet radiation and promote the risk of getting skin cancer? So? Alcohol destroys the liver but many guys spend more in alcohol rather than pussy. Smoking destroys the lungs but many people smoking. In P4P there is a risk of STD. Etc. So why you worry about who like to take sunbathing?

Last year I stayed at S15, a much better hotel. On 8 has an outstanding location with an escalator going up to Nana BTS right at the hotel's front door. Definitely great for older people who struggle with walking or going up stairs in the BKK heat. Rooms are good for the price but I can't get past the lack of a window in the room. My room had a wall with a frosted treatment to make it look like a window but still no window. If no windows are ok for you I would recommend this hotel.

I have always liked staying at the Mermaid Hotel Soi 29. This time I was upset at the condition and the fact that the owner is not taking care of this Hotel. The walls are falling apart inside of the rooms. It rained and I asked why they do not have umbrellas in the rooms and the reply was that they do not supply them and that I can buy in the stores.

I moved next door to the Legacy Suites. Same price but what a difference. Large clean rooms, a wonderful breakfast; Mermaid does not include breakfast unless you pay and additional $10.00 a night. I highly recommend Legacy hotel to all that want to stay in the higher numbered Soi's. Soi 22 is right across Suk and 24 is a short walk.

BTW, there is and Irishman (Bill) that has a small resto M&J on 29. Best tasting Thai food in Bkk. His wife is Essan.

Deluxe Double room at Studio Asoke was suprisingly spacious at 1260 Baht. They may have smaller cheaper rooms. My room had a sofa and plenty of space.

Newly constructed Hotel. Next to Pullman and accross road from FURAMA fx. That means about 300 metres from Soi Cowboy so easy walk.

Room has no bathtub but otherwise fairly complete including safe. Comfortable bed. OK for economic long stay. Possibly has no Breakfast but can eat very close by.

Although I usually order a lot more room service in Manila than BKK because some of the restaurants in BKK are really good and therefor I prefer to take my BKK girls out for late night din din after boom boom. But the girl below, for example, one of my all time favorite Makati girls and I used to have dinner in my Fairmont hotel room all the time. She especially loved Ceaser salad with chicken and I liked spicy grilled prawns. We shared. She used to hide under the sheets and giggle when the waiter brought the food cart into the room. What good times we used to have all night long. Sadly, I lost track of her in 2015, but its ok because that same year I met my favorite Filipina dynamic duo in Makati and I am still ordering room service and enjoying menage a trois while drinking Tequila shots with those two wild ones.

Very GF. Just like my experience a month ago at Holiday Inn express in the same street, Mercure was just as GF. They did not even ask for any ID from my Uzbek lady friend who was with me for 3 nights in a row. They also upgraded me to a bigger room free of cost. Their breakfast is very average so I just ate outside. Good sized, clean rooms, great location (if you don't mind the stench of this area in general), good staff and an overall good experience. How does booking hotels for 1 guest or 1-2 guests work in Bangkok? If I want to bring a girl back (I. E. Escort or non-escort), do I need to book for 1-2?

I noticed almost all options through booking sites specify 1-2 guests, however there are sometimes bookings for 1 guest. And when I book through a hotel website, such as SPG, I need to specify the number of guests, if 1 guest it's a bit cheaper.

Or is the number of guests for the room supposed to be the number you're checking in with?

Always book double occupancy so you can always bring a girl back. In most hotels it doesn't matter that you only check in yourself.Every hotel I have ever stayed in quotes prices for double occupancy when I book. I cannot remember ever booking a room that quoted a price for 1 person only and a different price for 2.

I just made a quick review of sites and found that the really low budget places distinguish between 1 and 2 guests in a room.

When I check in (alone) I always ask for the 2 room keys as it sends a subtle message that my "partner" will be joining me later. If the hotel issues breakfast vouchers (and some still do), then I request 2 for each day (even though I never take a guest to breakfast).

All these steps reinforce the fact that you expect to have double occupancy.

I have stayed in 4 different Marriott Executive Apartments (Soi 57, Soi 24, Mayfair and Silom). All are GF. Soi 24 might be closer to some of the action, but I prefer the one located in Soi 57, tends to be a little more expensive than the others, but I like the location (close to BTS station and Thong Lo and Ekamai nightlife).I like both Marriott Executive Apartment Hotels on Soi 57 & Soi 24. But each has certain advantages and disadvantages over the other.

Size: the 1-bedroom suite at Soi 24 (the Marriott Park) is larger than the 1-bedroom suite at the Soi 57 (Thonglor Marriott), but currently it is more expensive.

Pool: I prefer the pool at the Soi 57 (Thonglor Marriott) because it has sun for most of the day. The pool at the Soi 24 (the Marriott Park) is morning sun only.

Restaurants: not a big deal IMHO because I prefer to eat out, but for really great buffet breakfast, the restaurant at the (Thonglor Marriott) is MUCH better. Also, Thonglor Marriott Exec Hotel has a very impressive roof top bar. The girls love it. I like it too.

Location: Both locations are good for me although they are very different. Thonglor Marriott is very close to the Thonglor BTS (1 block more or less) and the Thonglor BTS station is 2 stops to Asok /3 stops to Nana. Then, in my opinion, there are better restaurants in the Thonglor/Ekkamai area than all of lower Sukhumvit. But taking a taxi with your girl back to either hotel takes about the same time - not that long. Meanwhile, the Marriott Exec Park (Soi 24), however, is walking distance to oily massage central (Soi 24 & 26) and about a 6 or 7-minute walk to the BTS Station (then 1 stop from Asok/2 stops to Nana). I have walked to Sukhumvit many, many times although the hotel does run a shuttle service every 30 minutes until midnight (I think) and it is really easy and cheap to flag down a Soi 24 motorcycle taxi if you are in a hurry or don't want to work up any kind of sweat. And If you are in a hurry or just for a little entertainment LOL, just ask a motorcycle guy to take you to Soi Cowboy from the Marriott Park. He will get you there in under 5 minutes!

So, the bottom line is both Marriott Exec Apartment Hotels (Soi 24 & Soi 57) offer high quality good value for the money. The current rate is around $116 (for Soi 24) and $108 (for Soi 57). And it has been mentioned many times here on the forum; they are both very Girl Friendly. For example: I have had 2 or 3 girls up in my room or down by either swimming pool drinking Tequilas and nobody batted an eye or asked for an ID. And that's the way I like it.

However, if you want the room size of one of these Marriott Exec apartment hotels and you want to be on Sukhumvit right in the action, then I can recommend the 1-bedroom grand suite or the 1-bedroom exec suite at the Grande Center Point T21. But super location and convenience comes at a significant increase in price. Up to you. It is your money. All BKK Grand Centre Points are girl friendly and the pool at T21 is really great.

That seems counter intuitive Natty, since you should know that Thai girls do not like their skin to be exposed to direct sun rays. You know, staying as white as possible is important.

My GF walked around Phuket under an umbrella and it certainly wasn't raining. The sun is a lot worse there though due to lack of pollution haze.

My GF walked around Phuket under an umbrella and it certainly wasn't raining. The sun is a lot worse there though due to lack of pollution haze. You bring up a very good point Syzygies, but it is not an example counter intuitive, rather it is an example of cross purpose. I know what Thai girls prefer. But, I was talking about what I prefer so this is an example of differing points of view. For example: I am Florida guy. I swim in my pool, go out sailing, or scuba dive for 9 months out of a year, but only when the sun is out and the temp is 85 f or higher (water temp about the same). I hate swimming when the sun is not out let alone when the pool or beach is in shade. It's too cold! But that is my preference.

From the Thai girl point of view, not many Thai girls feel the same way. Most of the Thai girls I know, ha ha, have very different ideas on the subject and I am afraid your experience with your GF in Phuket under an umbrella is not unique with Thai girls and is very similar to my own experience on my 1st trip with Mini in Phuket. On day #1 Mini wore a huge brimmed straw beach hat and silk scarf covering her shoulders to the beach and then she chose two lounge chairs under the thickest mahogany shade tree for miles. I hated her selection, but I found it humorous. I also knew it would be vacation romance suicide to object, so I kept my opinion to myself. I did offer her some high number spf sun screen, but she rejected it in favor of heavy shade. In her mind, she was not afraid of burning, she just was absolutely loath to the idea of getting any sun tan color! Funny, but that is exactly how most light skin Thai girls feel. Their opinion is the lighter their complexion the better looking they are. The exact opposite of American; USA, Canadian, Brazilian girls and southern Euro girls too.

So, when I add up all the girls I have played with in swimming pools and on tropical beaches, most if not all of my Thai girls were sun scared and very tan opposed. But I am sure you remember our mutual little Khmer friend. She was a natural water girl. I fondly remember how she used to dive right into the swimming pool head first and then bask out in the open sun, without a care, no problemo. She loved the sun! Maybe she didn't care about getting tan because she was already dark. I don't know, but she was a wonderful girl with an amazing body. I miss her although I glad she found herself a man and I hope she is happy.

And my Indonesian and Filipina girls are more like our mutual Khmer girl. Some are natural swimmers' and others can't swim to save their lives, but only a few were sun scared like the Thai girls. Anyway, I was very patient with Mini in Phuket. Every day we went to a different beach and as time went by, she became more comfortable on the beach in the sun although she always insisted on laying under a shade umbrella until it was time to hit the surf, but we did spend a lot of time frolicking around in the sea. It was fun. We have discussed future trips and she is up for another beach holiday further south although I know she would prefer that I take her to Chang Rai. Ha ha. So yeah, she would prefer that I always book the Marriott Park so SHE could enjoy afternoons by the pool in 100% shade. I, on the other hand, like the warm sunny pools, so I book Marriott Thonglor more often than the Marriott Park on account of its sunny pool and the slightly less expensive nightly rate.

One more thought on taking girls on beach holidays: there is always something! Even if the trip is overall a lot of fun. Last year for example, I took my 2 favorite Pinays to Sabang Beach, Palawan. (a very pretty beach). Neither girl was sun scared and the 3 of us had fun frolicking in the sea during the day and drinking lots of Tequila and having 3-somes at night. My only gripe with them and it is a small one, is that they could not let go of their cell phones for 1 minute. It was unbelievable! They had to have their cell phones with them at all times. Of course, I didn't say anything at the time, to avoid vacation romance suicide, but to myself I thought, you got to be kidding. 555. Women!

19th and 20th May.

Chose this hotel because I wanted a place where a friend and I could be in the same suite and have private bedrooms too. Like Sukhumvit 22 has a two-bedroom suite, which at 1500 Baht a night seemed like a good deal at a good location. The place was far better than we expected, the kind of place that makes you wish you were staying there longer. A fully furnished two bedroom suite, it had 2 TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, clean washrooms etc. We arrived at 1 AM in the night and there was just a security guard. But he had a printout of our bookings with our names ready and the check-in process was seamless. Girl-friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Closest 7/11 is a brisk walk away though.

Last trip I stayed in a serviced apartment that was so GF that they never checked anything. Of course, since I was there long term, the staff all knew me.

I'm looking for a different place this time and it will not be in the Asoke Nana strip or anywhere near Suk (unless Bang Na or On Nut or father out).

Are most serviced APTS girl friendly? I am looking in areas like Ari, DinDaeng, Saphan Kwai.

Any recs in the 10 k a month range with a pool?

Thai girls probably know best. Sun bathing is not good for you. LOL I don't go swimming alone that much in Hotel Pools. I had fabulous fun in a pool in Krabi with an Oily MP girl (10 years ago LOL but stays unforgettable), and good fun in the sea too. Helps to have a largely vacant pool to make girls less shy about playing under water.

Maybe she didn't care about getting tan because she was already dark. Yes and. The. Already very tanned so that a bit of sun made no difference at all.

The same girl that used umbrella in Phuket maybe nearly 10 years ago is a similar sized girl (maybe shorter), is still my GF in rural Thailand and wears a flat brimmed cowgirl hat, but she is a lot more tanned than in those former times. I have not been to Phuket for many years now, since I got bored with it.

Last trip I stayed in a serviced apartment that was so GF that they never checked anything. Of course, since I was there long term, the staff all knew me.

Can you please provide some info on the name and the location of this place?

I too am looking for an apt or condo. So far I have narrowed it down to Like Sukhumvit 22 and Studio Asoke.

For those who have stayed at Like Sukhumvit 22. Do they check ID's of guests? Also if my guests come late after the reception is closed, is there a way that the security calls up or must I come down to get them.

Thanks in advance.

Reporting back on Grand Mercure on Soi 19 after asking info about it last week. Stayed here for 4 days and now extended it with 5 as I like it alot. Thank you for all the info.

I can confirm it's 200% GF. Reception will never actively approach you asking for ID or anything. There is also a side door if you prefer not to walk with a different girl past the nice reception ladies every day which gives you full privacy. Rooms are perfect (even the most simple one is MORE then enough! Considering the hotels on Sukhumvit itself and the T21 hotel are Double (the price and this one is hardly a 5 min quick walk to T21 I'd say its amazing value and worth a try! Of course the short walk can be bothersome to some when it's hot and humid but I never felt it was much of a issue.

I'm looking for a different place this time and it will not be in the Asoke Nana strip or anywhere near Suk (unless Bang Na or On Nut or father out).

Are most serviced APTS girl friendly? I am looking in areas like Ari, DinDaeng, Saphan Kwai.

Any recs in the 10 k a month range with a pool?I can say for sure Centre Point Sukhumvit. Thong Lo is a GF serviced apartment hotel. Stayed there for the first time in Aug-2017. Availed services of Priya from Bangkok Escorts.

Possibly has no Breakfast but can eat very close by.Is this hotel girl friendly? Wanted to book this hotel as it is a good location but can't message them via Agoda.

Anyone have any opinions on the Sheraton Grande vs Westin Grande? The same number of SPG points are required for redemption even though the Sheraton is a higher Starwood category.

Rooms are higher class, but does not have a club lounge. Also consider the Athenee Wireless Road Phlone Chit.

I hear of the Sukhumvit and Soi areas, but have no knowledge.

I hear of the Sukhumvit and Soi areas, but have no knowledge.Lookup 'Nana Plaza Sukhumvit Soi 4' and 'Soi Cowboy' in Google Maps. The area between and around these two points is the area we are talking about here.
By the way: most hotels mentioned in this thread are located in this area.

Book Dynasty Inn next to Nana Plaza. You can direct book Dynasty online. That should be one of the "budget" Hotels, and a bit too close to the action for some. Does not occur to me to stay there any more, better for Nana fans. Grand Dynasty, as example, is vastly better for room quality and swimming pool, but costs more. It is hard to recommend when the guy does not specify how much he wants to spend or how many stars, or how close to the action, etc.

Compact Hotel, however Room was a lot larger than I had expected. Very decent size. So yes ideal for access to Cowboy, but very low price when I stayed there, a lot lower than my normal budget. Save the money to spend on the girls LOL. I did post a review before I believe.

For sure I will probably use it again. It is a great alternative now to save me using a nearby ST Hotel, but I potentially get the whole night with a girl or two.

Why waste money on an expensive Hotel when it could pay for a lot of fucking fun? LOL

Those rooms are nice and clean. You can access it by the side driveway without going thru the lobby for more privacy.

Anyone stayed in Citrus Suites Sukhumvit 6 recently? What has been your experience with bringing back your catch to this place?

I know this hotel is GF since I emailed them and clarified but would like to know if we need to register the guest as mentioned in their email. All my previous trips I only stayed at four point and they never cared once to register the guest.

Thanks.

I know this hotel is GF since I emailed them and clarified but would like to know if we need to register the guest as mentioned in their email. As has been said many times before, if you ask them to put in writing their policy regarding an extra visitor in your room then you are going to get a sanitized message quoting the hotel policy that fits the "no prostitution" regulations. All guests must be registered (that's pretty much a world-wide requirement).

No hotel is going to put in writing that they sanction prostitution (which is what it is) because they don't know you.

When you actually arrive and engage with your hobby, the "rules" stated to you in an email no longer hold and it turns out there are no rules.

Just become aware of which Hotels are "family Hotels" that do not except visitors. They are quite infrequent in sukumvit area, but should be determinable on the web.

I maybe only once ever had a problem when staying in Bangkok Palace in Makkasan maybe 15 years ago or so. It had a lot of Chinese tour groups and was described as a family Hotel.

A Solo Hotel Soi 4 they would not accept a 19 YO visitor (over 21 okay I guess), however was able to check her in as a registered person staying no problem. Stupid, right?

Soi 23 has lots of massage joints. Are they any good? Who knows? Who knows what you are really looking for? I would rather go elsewhere. I have given more than you deserve with such a vague question.

Hey guys,

I've been reading the forum for a while now and would like to thank everyone for the information being assimilated here. .

I'm due to reach Bangkok This month for a holiday and still haven't been able to finalise my stay location. So far I've made reservations at the Park Plaza, Movenpick, the Courtyard and the Continental. From the information here in the forum I gather that all these hotels are GF and have had decent reviews, which have now led to some confusion on my end as to which hotel to confirm. So I would love if any of you senior mangers can help me in my decision making.

In terms of what I plan to do while in BKK, I have initiated contact with an escort agency (xclusivethai) and plan to have escorts come in for the first two days of my stay (for both fun and accompanying me and introducing me to the nightlife scene), after which I plan to go and have my own adventure.

Any and all advice will be appreciated.

AM.

I don't know what it was in my post that so offended you. But I'm fairly certain that it's common practice to book a hotel that's got good reviews when on a good deal. Then later decide if that's the offer you want to use. I can assure you that the hotels certainly won't be surprised / least bit bothered by this method.

I honestly don't understand what's wrong with having a few options. I'm 22 days away from landing in BKK and as such the hotels won't be hard pressed to find guests for the cancelled rooms (not that it's hard in BKK). And I surely won't apologise for doing what I believe is the smart thing to do (and the analogy you used. I won't even bother commenting on that).

What we do is do our research, find a good deal and book. Its called respect or not screwing around with people and businesses. Some people treat businesses, hotels, restaurants (and even girls) as a master slave type relationship. Next time you are in BKK stand outside hotels and see how many lights are on at night. What you think hotels have waiting lists? You might think its smart, others would agree with me. Funny now I am in Kl and when I go to BC WG flock to me, yes flock, because they know I will treat them with respect whereas other "nationalities" they either say no to or charge ridiculous prices and give crappy performance. And all these "nationalilities" do is wreck the market and promote below avaerage performance.

You make your bed you lie in it.

Why don't you go to bar and book 4 ladies all for same night tooo. Advice- get real, show some respect.I am an Aussie who travels a bit and I use the free cancellation option all the time. You pay extra for it on booking.com but if it was bad for their business I'm sure they wouldn't offer it. Do I book 4 hotels for the same time, no, but I will cancel and rebook elsewhere if a better offer hits the table or I read a bad review. Nothing to do with respect but what suits you at the time!

Not common practice in my country buddy. What we do is do our research, find a good deal and book. Its called respect or not screwing around with people and businesses. My mother is a very proper person, and would never do anything even a little bit suspect. As such, there are many things happening for me, I would never mention to her. She would love to interfere in the business of others, according to her rules. LOL Like how I fucked two girls at same time. Ha ha. Even I am a person who would not want to indulge in some of the porn fuelled "sicko" fantasies of others. However I understand other guys have different standards to me, and are looking to dominate and denigrate. I prefer my girls to be enjoying themselves and having fun, as far as possible. Just my way. On odd occasion I had 3 girls concurrently. They were friends and appeared to have a good time. I never took 4 at once. LOL Once I book girls, I am reliable though, unless the girl fucks it up. It is not unusual for a girl to be waiting for some other customer, then eventually go with me, because he did not show up in reasonable time. Girl won't wait forever.

So posts about booking multiple rooms, and then cancelling are not intended for the consumption of guys like yourself. You really should ignore them rather worry too much. No one is really suffering, other than Hotels like this appear to be full when they might not be in reality. It is not illegal what they doing. It is optimising if you like. Making a comment is allowed but we recognise that it won't influence anyone.

Most Hotels know a certain percentage of rooms will be cancelled and filled again maybe at the last minute. It is part of the economic model. Go with the flow.

I have tentatively booked a room in a Hotel for days available, and waited for cancellations to make the in between days available. Since I did not want to keep changing Hotels, if the in between days did not become available, I would cancel the whole lot. No big deal. Hotel was fullish anyway. Hotels are rarely full very day though, due to customers coming and going.

Even when a plane is fully booked and I cannot be given a seat on that particular flight, I show up to the airport, and one hour before let them know I am here waiting for a "no show". Almost never failed to get on the flight in the end. So I know that full flights are not absolutely full, even if they tell me too full to allow me to be wait listed. There are always no shows that the airline was not informed about in advance. They know it. They expect it. Last time I managed to get on such a "full" flight at the last hour, there were still vacant seats. A lot of "no shows" I guess. So this has some parallels to the Hotel room booking situation, especially where customers can cancel for free up to 6 PM on first day of stay.
