Maybe you could offer some sort of phone based low cost concierge service to help make bookings and arrange punters to visit them. Certainly your inability to contact Laycee is simply a function of her shit time management and it's costing her money since she is missing out on customers.

Here's the killer: while it may be expensive for a girl to solely employ you in the role if you had multiple girls using the service then the cost wouldn't be as much per girl - economies of scale - which is an excellent marketing idea considering the low margins that some of the Asian girls get for their services.

Before my true mongering days started I uesd t go up to the Classic Porn Cinema in Queen Street. this place has closed now and it has become the Comedy club. Today the average cash rate (Femme, PC, etc) is $180. The girls get $100 and the establishment $80. If memory serves back in the early 90s the rate was $120 and the girls got $80 and the establishment $40. If you chart inflation, the girls are now getting a 25% increase but I'm sure inflation is more than that in that time frame. On top of that, I also hear that IRD are going to be keeping tabs on their income pretty soon now that their activities has been de-criminalized. I don't think the Prostitution Reform Act has done them any good.

From speaking with the girls, they also get charged for advertising, shift fee, laundry fee, fines, etc...I thought my $80 covered that.

I've always thought that the ultimate business model were to open up a Love Hotels (similar to ones I've heard off in Japan) where you charge for rooms by the hour. The relationship would then be of innkeeper and guest as opposed to brothel and prostitute. There could be a bar where everyone can come and go as they please. No door fee. I am not a lawyer but having seen some things on TV, I went into the Auckland Law library to do some more research.

According the Prostitution Law Reform Bill, any one in NZ on a visitor’s, student or working visa is NOT allowed to work in a massage parlor or brothel. What is does not say is that a person with the same visa working on their own, cannot work as a sex worker. So one person on their own seems to be fine, but two or more IS illegal. They have to have at least residency here to do so.

For the purposes of the act, a massage parlor or brothel is defined as anywhere where two or more people are working as sex workers.

The police and immigration in Auckland and Christchurch have been raiding some parlors and some visas have been cancelled and some overstayers have been deported, and some charges have been laid with the Madames.

This information may be of some use to some of you to be able to get cheaper service. I feel so sorry for you guys forking out so much of your hard earned money on these overpriced workers, that you may be able to get some advantage here.

Let us just look at what they earn. Let’s say the fee is $220.00. In most cases, the girl gets all of that if it is not at a usual parlor, like Pelican etc. Say she has two customers a day. In some ways this is true, although your choice of word “proper” for a business is a value judgement word and as such, not all would agree with you. For example:
