Is it possible to get laid in Palau ?

I had great luck last time I was there, but it's been about 3 years. If things haven't changed, you have two options. First are the Filipino clubs. There are several hostess clubs in town staffed with many beautiful Filipinos. You buy them drinks and negotiate for them to meet with you after the club closes, at about midnight. They tend to be very popular and the hot ones are often taken, but you should have any problems getting laid. The other option is one of the massage parlors around town. They are all on the one main road in Koror, so just at one end and stop at each one. I found such a great one, that it was the only one I went to during my stay. Several young chinease girls to chose, and even the mamasan was hot. Full service, as remember it, was about $60 US.

Thank you much for the info. I will put it to use. The massage parlor is probably the way I'll go, since I'm sharing a room with someone whom I do not wish to "air laundry" in front of.

$60 is high, compared to what I'm used to (Thailand and the Philippines), but certainly within the realm. Especially compared to L.A. prices.

This will be my first trip, but my brother raves about the Blue Corner. Did you enjoy the diving ?

Blue Corners rocks. I've dived all over the world, but nothing even comes close. If you're there for 5 days, 2 of those days should be blue corners. You cannot get bored of it and the other sites, while very, very good, are not "the corners". It is called blue corners because there are several ocean currents all meeting in the same place. You will likely not find anything else like it in the world. One minute your in calm, 80 degree water and you cross a ridge and you're swept away in a cold current. It would take me hours to write about all the fish, pelagics etc that you see on each dive, but I'm sure you know.

Also, in case you are also planning on going to Yap, forget it. A waste of time. You should however stop in Manila as it is very close and has some of the best, if not the best *****s, in the world.

Thanks for the info. My brother has 1500 plus dives and has said that the Blue Corners is the only site that he's ever been to that he would like to do repeatedly. I'm looking forward to the trip. I have been looking around for airfares for either Guam to Manila or Koror to MNL or Cebu. Any ideas ?

I must say though, that I prefer the working girls in Angeles City to those in Manila (whom I love also). Cheaper, less jaded, albiet, a little rough around the edges. I lived in both Manila and Angeles for a while. No...not military, just a guy trying to make a living in paradise. Back to a real job in L.A. now.

Looks like we have a lot in common. We both dive in exotic places, both have lived in the Philippines, and both now have a real job in LA.

I lived in Palawan for 1 1/2 years until I ran out of money. I'm working on saving enough to go back, if not for good, at least for a couple of years.

As I remember it, you have to fly MNL to Guam to Koror. I flew Continental Micronesia, but I would check out Expedia to see who has the best flights.

Aw man I was in Palau last year and the girl at the Phillipino club (who, after days of diving and no babes seemed like Venus) said "You won't get laid in Palau." So my buddies and I gave up! We should have tried harder. We're heading back to dive that blue corner so maybe this time.

There are a few spots on this planet where both the diving and whoring are close by, cheap and abundant. The spots where at least some of each can be found are in order IMHO:

1. Sabang Village, Puerto Galera, Phillipines (D:8, W:7)
2. Phuket, Thailand (D:8, W:8)
3. Subic Bay, Phillipines (D:6, W:8)
4. Palau (now!) (D:10,W:?)

Unlisted are my next destinations although I've not heard anything overly positive:

- Cebu (Diving apparently so-so, whoring apparently superb)
- Caribbean

Can anyone add to the list?

Well, I did it. But....

The weather was bad enough to keep us off the Blue Corner. 9 foot swells. Our dive master said that they had not been out to the corners for a month ! Diving was great anyway. Ulong Channel and wall were fantastic !

I didn't see anything that looked like a massage parlor in town, and there was no obvious nightlife. Thankfully, I nailed a girl from Santa Cruz, CA. in our dive group, or it would have been a complete bust...sexually.

DO go to dive though guys ! This is just the wrong time of year.

The surf off Siargo Island and off the Philippine Deep is becoming known for surfing. I believe that there may be some good diving experiences there as well. Providers may be scarce, don't know, but it may be wise to import a friend from Cebu.

I just got back from Palau. Interesting place. Talked to some locals there and they informed me that there are some bars around where Filipino women work.

There was one joint near the Palm Bay Cafe where I was three women going to work in quite revelaing (for Palau) clothing.

Also, the funiest thing. All these military guys were heading back to Guam from R&R on my flight, and after checking in, all these Filipino women showed up to see them off. Must have been a slow night at the bar.

Hey I was one of those military guys. We weren't on R&R that was a six-month tour we were completing. After that amount of time I came to know the place pretty well. There are a few "massage parlors" that are FS but generally are full of below average Chinese imports.

All the KTV bars are stuffed full of Pinays and a few Chinese girls. These girls generally are just “entertainers” no bar-fines here. If you can talk some game you can convince these girls to go home with you. Of course being there for six months is quite an unfair advantage. In some Bars getting girls out of there is almost impossible since they lock the girls in at night! I recommend the Lake bar lots of girls and VIP rooms of course there is no sex in the champagne room if lucky you might get some HJ. Lady drinks are about 10 bucks so be careful don’t be a chump!

Overall beautiful place If just going there for a short time I would concentrate on the diving and not the trade.

on bali there are some very nice diving places around the island nusa penida. you go there by boat from sanur (chose a dive company that use speed boats). sanur is the "brothel centre" on bali and no man ever need to sleep alone. besides a nice spot with many good restaurants, hotels and home-stays. no night clubs but hundreds of nice girls who will please you. sanur is abt a 20 minutes ride from kuta.

Palau had their first case of sex trade. Sentenced the bar owners and the girls to jail and shipped the rest of them back to Philippines and China. They are pretending to crack down but the P4P is still there and getting more prominant.

Was there last year and I only had a couple nights. The Pinays there are under watchful eye. Almost like slave labor. Some live in the bars they work in, and are "escorted", to where they want to go during the day. I was told by a girl that she would only have a few hours out in town during the day.

Was in Koror for a week. I don't think it is hard t get laid as some would have you believe. Two times I tried and two times succeed. Seems like the massage parlours are just that--massage, but there has to be exceptions. Got full service from the Paradise Massage -- however I had the massage in my hotel room. Massage + FS = .1. In retrospect I think I donated too much. She gave me her private number to call her directly next time--never did.

There are a lot of Karaoke / buy me drink clubs on Palau currently with a lot of girls from Asia. As with any Buymedrinkie bar you pay extra for the ladies drinks and they sit and talk with you for a bit. And times have probably changed but when I was there I definitely did not experience reliable internet access. Virtually non-existent.

Mainly massage girls, but they were all over. One establishment sat directly across from my hotel, advertising with a huge neon sign. And massage women approached me openly on the street at night, even when I was obviously walking with a female colleague.

Did you surf or just sit the beach?Neither. I was working there for a week, so basically in meetings. But spent the last day hitting the Rock Islands and swimming with jellyfish. Pretty mind-blowing.
