For a GREAT price value check out the Old Chang An Sauna in Zhuhai. A "shuang fei" (double fly/2 chics) will cost you RMB 590 for a solid 90 minutes. What could be more heavenly then pumping one girls throat while another tongue rims your back door? The only thing I can think of is banging them like screen doors in a hurricane after this arousal. Have all the Zhuhai saunas returned to normal now? how about these street girls?

After doing some unpacking and rest, I went out for dinner and shopping with my colleagues at the ZhuHai Port Plaza.
Upon retrunring to my hotel room at ard 10pm. I realise my room was broken into and my notebook was missing.
Fear immediately invaded me and I rush to check the room safe box.
Fortunately it was not broken into.
Call the front desk and report the incident. Some security guards and a manager came to my room to inspect.
They then check the hotel security camera in the security guard room situated at the side of the hotel.
After viewing through the video, we saw 2 men went into my room empty handed and after about 7 minutes later, exited the room carrying my notebook covered with the laundry bag and putting into a lady accomplice who was waiting at the lift lobby. All these in clear view from the security camera.
Upon further viewing the security tape, we realise the lady accomplice was loitering in the hallway corridor earlier for a few minutes trying to break into the hotel rooms.
She tried a few rooms but didn't manage to get in. Mine was the unfortunate one.
The hotel reported to gong an and though the police station was a 5 minutes walk to the hotel, it took them more then an hour to be there. Dressed like some thugs and wear slippers. They don't look any bit like a policeman.
It's big embarassment to the Chinese Police.
My hotel room have no sign of force break-in. Which means the theives managed to get into my room using similiar hotel room card.
OK. To make the story short. We immediately check out the hotel and check in to Charming Hotel.
This is unbelievable. But believe it.
The hotel have deny all responsibilities regarding the break-in. They stated that the thieves uses high technology to break into my room and thus we cannot blamed the hotel for negilience.
They refused any compensation to me. But offer me a few FREE night stay in the hotel. WTF, do you think I will want to stay in this hotel again?
My colleagues said this have to to be a inside job.
They even bring up the subject that the hotel could be a? .
How can the security guards missed seeing the lady thief loitering along the hallway corridor going from door to door?
And no hotel will deny responsibilities for such a incident. But this hotel gracefully and conveniently did. And without any remorse.
I believe it is the hotel responsibilities to protect their guests.
Thus I would advise all not to stay in this hotel for your sake.
I cannot imagine if they were to break into my room while I was sleeping in the middle of the nite if I forgot to latch from the inside.

Got some update on Zhuhai from a Singapore friend who went there for 2 nights this week. He said all major saunas in Gonbei are semi-closed for national day week. Those that were open only offer foot massage or real body massage and all the full course girls were gone, and shop managers said at this moment still cannot offer full course.
They were still not sure when the prohibition will be finished, maybe next week or a bit later. Also limited action on the street. Terrible time to go Zhuhai.
I will be there in a week taking a client who will be flying 17 hours to get there, just to make his sauna dreams come true in Zhuhai. If things continue bad, may have to divert him to CP.

I always leave my laptop on the desk unprotected. It is a pain in the ass to put it in the safe. I've heard about some laptop locks but I am not sure how they work.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely be more careful in future and never stay at the Guo Tai.

I'm paranoid about my laptop, since I can't do business without it.
Even though it has a 13 inch screen, it only fits in some room safes. You'd be surprised how many 5-star hotels have crappy small safes. About half the 4 star hotels in China don't have safes, but many will lug one in upon request. In cities that I know in China, I often choose the hotel based on the size of the safe.
If the hotel doesn't have a safe, I'll often just hand my laptop to the front desk staff when I leave, they give me a receipt and lock it in one of their cabinets.
At least hide the safe in the room. My favorite ploy is to take the laundry bag,, suspend it from a hanger in the closet, put the laptop in the laundry bag, ,then place the robe on the same hanger over the laundry bag., and retie the robe's belt.

I doubt the security people even watch the video. I've never stayed at the Guo Tai, only tried the sauna once.This is why I always try to stay at Shangri-la hotels, expensive but reasonably secure. I received a call at 2:00am one night from a sick female friend. I was going to bring her some medicine from my travel kit. She was on a different floor so I of course took the elevator. I walked the corridor to her room and knocked. Before she could open the door (she was a little slow being sick) 2 security guys came quick stepping from each end of the corridor to check what I was doing.
I do like the suggestion of hiding stuff in the laundry bag though.

I'd say whart happened to me MUST be an exception rather than a rule in China.
Was overnight at the Clipper in Chang ping and as usual paid my RMB 300 deposit when checking in. (for my room at RMB 268+2) The next morning, I was in a hurry for a noon appointment in shenzhen and just gave my room key and the receipt to the gal whilst I went to the bathroom quickly and then rushed to get into my cab after just waving to the gal who had handled my check out.
I came back today and saw the same gal and asked if she remembers me and what happened morning before last and whilst she didn't recognize me, just asked for the room number that I stayed at, my name and right away gave me back RMB 30. Just like that!!

The crack down this time is quite harsh. It seems like the closure or no full course will stay till at least end of the month there.
I called a mamasan at Chan An Good World, happened to find her name card in the drawer, and she said her shop as well as most shops in Gonbei will be closed or only offer footie till end of Oct, maybe even longer. And a few mongers have mailed me that street scene is also very dead.
yup. i just exited zh myself and really wanted to leave here sooner (place is deader than grants tomb) but as i was waiting for another monger senior phantomtiger to tour se china together (planned meeting at zh then head to cp to meet up with famous bsd), found out later he couldnt contact me as the airline really messed up his flight and luggage with all his belongings with phone and contact #s. and he was also denied entry into china due to passport problems. man, i really feel bad for pt with all his plans for 1st time sex in china all down the drain. but then again, being in zh, my situation is not much better.
intended on a long and joyful report on zh but looks like it will be rather brief instead: so here goes nothing (literally)
sw scene: ha, the famous you will be raped by many sw before reaching your hotel not happening in zh at the moment. i made it my mission everynite from 11pm -1am walking all around the back streets and alleys and all along the length of lhl but only saw at best about 2-3 sw- mostly by the chang an goodworld entrance. abit older so not to my liking. i did see one cute one but was never able to get her attention as she was always booked, and with no competition, i can see why. so, never did get the chance to check out her price, although i suspect she could command a premium price at the moment.
btw: for all newbies (me included), the streets and alleys around gongbei seems rather safe to walk around at anytime (day/nite) alone so as long as you show some common sense (not flashing expensive stuff) its an ok place to wander about almost anywhere.
but just to put as a disclaimer: not totally sure if this "feeling safe at all times of day/nite" is mainly due to the recent crackdown- meaning busting all unwanted people off the streets, so perhaps some long time mongers/residents in zh can support this safety walking about issue.
as reported, most if not all saunas are closed or scaled back to being legit places for the moment. also true that places do not really know when everything will return to normal (if ever? as one manager feared)
all the good sauna reported on this board in gongbei is down right now.
i did manage to find one sauna that gave me fs (although not to the famous service that zh places are good for). name of the place escapes me now but if you exit gongbei port (immigrations), immediately turn left (going west) and just follow that 1st street on your left(this st will be between the port and the charming hotel) and the sauna will be about 300 meters away on the right hand side. like i said, service was not the greatest and price was a bit high about 300y for 90min but beggars can't be too choosey. selection was ok at best but don't expect stunners here. there was about 2 other sauna all within eye distance from this one (both across the st) but were closed all the times i visited so not sure if permanent closure.
the much talked about dm sauna at the hyatt was also closed (so i was told by everyone working there for 3 straight days--i suspect because they never seen me before?) but on my last day, i went much later in the nite (about 12am i think) and one of the workers began to recognize me and let me in and said place was actually open but only to past customers and open only after 10pm. this worker saw me before here on several ocassions and thought i was a repeater.
service was good ,price was 288y, but selections was [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) poor-and only 5-6 girls on the menu (guess due to crackdown) but again: beggars can't be too choosey. since it was my last nite in zh, i didn't inquire about any discount cards.
well, all i can say is you could waste alot of time looking for places that don't exist as mongering places right now or head elsewhere until zh (hopefully) returns to normal. so, who knows, i may (or may not) return to zh later on.
i'll post more if i can remember anything useful in the future.

I always leave my laptop on the desk unprotected. It is a pain in the ass to put it in the safe. I've heard about some laptop locks but I am not sure how they work.OAH
As i do the same I have bought a few laptop locks, they cost all of 10 rmb at a computer store in china (30-40 usd in usa) - though they will try to charge 30-40. they have a simple number lock on them or you can buy key variety. they latch into the kensington slot on your computer - every computer has one, it is a feature that is always there and seldomly used except at universities and large corporations. it is a small oval shaped hole about 2mm wide and 7 mm long. Very simple and some security. the thief of course could cut the cable (about 3mm stranded steel coated in plastic) or break the opening with a screwdriver. it is some protection though.
Most of the safes in the hotels are not fastended down. bring crazy glue with you to help out the hotels. again some deterrent.
the cable is a comfort if you leave your notebook out, at least housekeeping can not take it easily.
Worth the cheap investment.

I agree that KTV can be quite boring without language skills. Yes, you can play the dice games but even that gets boring after an hour or so. Some guys are content to just be able to grope the girls for the whole night.
IMHO, the comradery of a group of English speaking guys to drink with is the only saving grace of KTV, but even then you may find that many of the guys are enthralled with their girls more than they are with the drinking with you.
Sauna or BBS girls are a better option for non-Chinese speaking mongers. You don't get to build any chemistry before the deed but then if you can't speak with the girl, how do you do that anyway?

Unless things changed in the last week or so since I left, KTVs were still OK.
Only the SW on LHL and saunas closed due to raids on the blasted PRC 60th celebrations.
I know where the Holiday inn is as I passed it several times but since I was not really into the single person visiting the KTV, I didn't go to check this place out,perhaps on my next visit I will try to get a few of you guys and we could have a few gals and drinks together at a KTV.

The cost is not extraordinary, and I believe the KTV scene is quite different experience from the sauna, and to my own observation, KTV girls are prettier in general than their sauna counterparts. Just spent 4 days with a client. Some saunas are really closed, some have gone underground. Those opened secretly now use their hotel ordinary rooms and put girls in one of the rooms. Most these places only let you in if they know you or you need to call one of the managers to come take you in.
We were refused a few times, were told only have foot massage or still closed, but I managed to call the mamasan to let me in.
But things can change over night again. A day before we went to Jin Yu which opened to regulars, a street pimp told us the police entered some the ordinary rooms suspected of conducting sex massage and took away 1 Macau and HK men each.
A mamasan told me, things won't get better this year, because President Hu is coming to town and also visit Macau end of the year. So I guess Zhuhai won't be too much fun in the near future.
Also street scene is also horrible. There are always some unattractive street workers near Chang An Good World and Guandong Regency, but 4 days, never saw a doable one. LHL is void of street gals. Did not see one in 4 days.
If you are thinking of having a blast in Zhuhai, it won't happen now.

I usually go to the Hyatt Sauna during the Happy hour with is not available at that timing you mentioned. So if that's the case would rather go for Saunas in the GongBei area with generally slightly higher price but better quality. But my favourite Old ChangAn was closed so thus left Zhuhai after some shopping.
I went to Guangzhou not to monger but just to visit some friends and then on my way to Fuzhou visiting my regular freebie .

SF - or anybody - what is the REAL story here? What have you heard as to what is really going on in Zhuhai and in China as a whole?
I mean I read about how severe the crackdown is in Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Shanghai etc - but notice no discernible difference in Macau and Chang Ping/Most Dongguan area.
- Is it really just because of the "High Official" visit upcoming?
- Is it that they want mongers now just to go to Macau and turn Zhuhai into a "real tourist" destination - and especially force foreigners (including and especially Hong Kongers, Taiwanese and Macanese themselves) to just stay in Macau if all they want is vice?
- Are the authorities taking a leaf out of Hong Kong and Singapore's book on the way to controlling the sex trade by lmiting such activities only to certain areas i.e. Mongkok for locals and Wanchai for Foreigners in Hong Kong, Geylang for Chinese and Desker (?sp) street for Indians in Singapore. And maybe they're just gonna let the Dongguan area be THE place for such activities - at least for now. Hmmmmm..... is this why there are so many new great big hotels - all with KTV's and Saunas - opening up all over Chang Ping and Dongguan these days?

I almost gave you a call when I was in ZH but as I saw the situation was turning to shit here I decided not much anyone can do about this crackdown.
Everything you posted (above) and also combined with my posts will pretty much spell out what is happening in ZH( or not happening). It was the main reason I left there early for Phillipines instead and also to meet up with Phantomtiger there for hassle free sex on the cheap.
As I said earlier, best to avoid South China now and head to better mongering grounds with cheap prices (like Philippines or Thailand or Cambodia).
Next time I'm in ZH, I'll definitely call you and meet up for a beer or two.

Could some kind person please post a latest report on the situation in zhuhai? Is it just the massage places closed down or are the KTV's also affected? Also my friend recommended the KTV at Holiday Inn. Would anyone recommened any other KTV's? The price of a room in Holiday Inn is kinda pricey. Hoping someone could point me in the direction of a better location to stay and have some fun?

You shouldn't be getting a HJ, BJ, or FS from a massage girl in the first place. It's near impossible for a good masseuse to be giving good service, why not separate the two? It's not like you don't know where to get ass in ZH.
Update: things are a bit better - CA Good World, Old Chang An, Guo Tai are definitely back up, but the service may be in hotel rooms, and the girls have no uniforms. Both a manager and a sauna chick have said it's because of the stupid visit from Hu Jintao, but everything should be restored to normal by December. There's no "clean up" at all in Macau or CP because I think the economy would just plummet if they did, whereas Zhuhai, Shenzhen, and Shanghai all have alternate businesses. Eh, wild ass guess.
Went to a KTV tonight - Dream Back to Paris. Supposedly the best selection in Zhuhai, but we got there a bit too late and it's a three day weekend in Hong Kong. A mediocre experience. I've also heard good things about the Charming Holiday KTV, but have never been myself.
Saw maybe 10 LHL walkers on Friday night, up from the small pockets that I'd seen before. It's definitely picking back up and is still a pleasant city to monger, but it's no where near the glory days of a few years ago and I wouldn't recommend coming here solely for that purpose.
Stayed there last night and got a 3hr massage from a DongBei girl. Very nice and nice finish too.

Nice to know but care to enlighten us as to the names and locations of these saunas in Jida and Xiangzhou with a report as most of us are only familiar to the places mentioned in Gongbei. Both of these are fairly large areas so need names and addresses to break it down a little, otherwise could waste the entire vacation time going around in circles.

So far, the crackdown seems pretty harsh for massage places, saunas, and KTVs in general in Zhuhai. You can still get massages, sauna service, and KTV gals, but it's not very "loose and fun" like before.

There might be action away from from the GongBei area, or behind closed doors if you have manager contact or a past customer. Not good for an occasional stopper like me.

I was in Zuihai for one nite in mid November enroute to Macau. It was definately quiet there. No SW to be seen. Was able to go a sauna which was operating discreetly. Went through the back door though and there were people playing cards as we entered a number of doors to get to the top. Probably to delay the entrance if there was a raid. you better check the current visa status for your country first. you need a visa to enter china, although one year, multiple entry visas with 30 day stays have been available for certain countries. macau is literally a walk away from zhuhai for your visa runs.
foreigners can buy real estate in china but se99 would be a better source on the zh market for rents/prices. you don't own the land, it is on a 70 year lease from the government.
yes, you can open a bank account with a tourist visa.
the closest thing to pattaya beach road is lhl, a street in the gongbei district near the border. before the current crackdown, there were sw for 200 rmb st but not in the numbers you find in pattaya, they speak no english and are not as farang friendly as pattaya.
zh is primarily a sauna town; places similar to sabai land, et al, with a slightly different flair to the service. i find the sauna service better in zh than pattaya for this.
aside from mongering, there are no beaches like what you have along the beach road or in jomtien with chairs, umbrellas, food, [CodeWord118] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord118), etc.

Gaudente, To enjoy China, first you have to learn at least basic conversation, which takes about at least half year or so to learn how to get by. Zhuhai used to be more extreme than Pattaya. Everything was so open and direct. I know quite a lot of foreigners learn Chinese just for the purpose of being able to enjoy China nights.
But Zhuhai is changing quite a lot this year. The crack down has been going on for many months. So things are going underground. If you don't speak any Chinese, it's going to be even tougher to have fun now in Zhuhai. The openess in Zhuhai may not return forever, just my feeling.
I have been quite a lot of places in China for fun and work, I would consider Zhuhai, Xiamen, Dalien, Chingdao are probably the most livable cities in the whole country, the last 2 are extreme cold thou. All with lots of girls working.
But if you intend to spend lots of time in Zhuhai or anywhere else in China, I reccommend you to study Chinese. If you are able to communicate the basic, then the whole China doors opens, hunt for millions and millions of freebies available. It's amazing how many nice Chinese girls are willing to have foriegn friends.
Visa is no problem at all. I got a 2 year business visa through some agency. But 1 year visa is easy to get. Even renew every month with single has no limit. Zhuhai would be a perfect location since you can walk across to Macao and get a new visa through any travel agency or apply yourself at China Travel.

Here's a quick guide I wrote from a numerous visits to Zhuhai. Special thanks to Crazier, MX, and Superforce99
Introduction
I first started going to Zhuhai in 2006 and recently I've been re-visiting this lovely city, also known as the Garden City. The scene consists of massage parlors (the ultimate spa for males), discos, ktvs, bbs, and a street scene.
Logistics:
I got my visa at a China Embassy in the USA months prior to entering into Zhuhai through Macau (note: there are ferries from HK and Shenzhen as well). In short, after you go though Chinese immigration, look for escalators going down into Gongbei Shopping Center (see pic 1). Once downstairs, head straight until you come to the epicenter of the mall where there are many different paths to choose from, take the path to your right (see pic 2 & 3). At the end of this aisle, go up the escalator and out into the street. Enter the large outdoor walking street on your right as you cross the street look for Lotus Road. (see pic 4), which is the entrance to the famous LHL (Lianhua) road where many stores, bars, restaurants, massage parlors, and freelancers may be found.
Accomodations:
On my virgin trip a few years ago I stayed at Chang An hotel, but nowadays I will only stay at the Hua Yu Spring Hotel which is a MUCH better option. It is conveniently located a rock throw away from 2 of the best asian massage parlors (AMPs) in Zhuhai. This hotel is much newer than the Chang An and the rooms reflect this, being bigger, more modern and more styling as well. Walk in prices are a bit high, but if you're a regular visitor, the manager will slash the price significantly. If I know you, inbox me and I'll see what I can do about getting discounted rates, about 40% off walk in prices so around 250rmb. Directions: walk down LHL past the beer bars, then cross the street with traffic. Spring Hotel will be on your left side right before you hit Jin Yu Hotel/sauna. You will probably see 1-2 lovely Chinese girls trying to get you into the hotel for their foot massages which are great but somewhat pricey at 35rmb/hr or approximately $5 USD/hr. Jin Yu, is the first hotel to the right as you exit Spring Hotel. The facilities are older, but the rooms are bigger and they have a good quantity of girls with a wide variety of shapes. You'll sure to find someone to your liking. Prices here are 238rmb for 90' all inclusive. To get that price, ask the touts out front for a coupon. They will also give you one after your session to entice you to return. In some of the rooms red-rope, baths, and table massages are offered. Service here can be a little hit or miss depending on how you conduct yourself. If you have some language skills and know the drill, you can get really good service here. If they know you're a newbie, you may get a shortened menu and rushed service. (update: if the gal thinks you don't know how things work, they may short you on the routine and become lazy. I suggest visiting the other saunas first so you know the score).
Lastly, there is a massage parlor right behind the outdoor beer bars that I believe is named Chang An. You will see two neatly dressed ladies outfront who will escort you into the entrance of the "sauna. " This place has red-rope and I think it's also opened 24hrs. This AMP tends to have more younger girls than the other two. Prices ranged from under 240rmb with a coupon to 380rmb for their best rooms. There are two set menus of service that correspond to the room you take (see menu pic 1-3). The more expensive option includes a water mattress body massage, but with the cheaper option, the same routine occurs on the bed. I found the cheaper option more preferable as you got to the real action quicker. Quality and Service here were consistently good, almost as good as the Good World and for the price, I found it to be the best for service and quality.

This was my bread and butter as far as P4P went in Zhuhai. There are tons of street girls on the street of LHL (not like the old days, but enough for a solo traveler), primarily around the outdoor beer bars, but also right outside the Jin Yu hotel, Spring Hotel, and the street between Spring and the beer bars. The girls are extremely aggressive on the streets and with some language skills, you can get them to agree to all your needs BBBJ, dkf, the works including multiple pops, and probably any fetishes you may have. Out of the 6 countires I visited my past trip, I was the most thoroughly fucked here in Zhuhai. The standard prices are 200rmb for short time and 500-600rmb for long time, meaning sex all night! Besides The New Yuan Ming Palace and the Fisher Girl Statue, Zhuhai has tons to offer. It has some fantastic food ranging from Chinese gyros at the street stalls and huge selections at many dim sum restaurants to amazingly fresh seafood restaurants. The weather also tends to be nice. It is known as the garden city for its fair weather conditions it has all year round. The shopping is amazing, from electronics to clothes, expect to pay about 50-60% of initial asking price. The outdoor beer bars are a load of fun. Hot girls as bartenders are available for chatting up as well as to play drinking games like liars dice, and perhaps more. It's really a great relaxed environment and is also a great way to break the ice with some of the locals there if your language skills are lacking. Speaking of language, I been listening to pimsleur mandarin to make the best use of my time in China and I suggest you do the same if you want the get the best possible service from the ladies.

It's no Chang Ping as far as quantity, but you'll be sure to find the quality and service great enough to satiate your needs, and the low-cost AMPs and shopping can't be beat! If you're by the area I recommend at visit!

As you know, the city is in lockdown mode at the moment but should bounce back like it always has in the past.
Streetgirl Update
First off, sgs are considered by most locals and visitors alike as the worse performers out of all the other options this city has to offer. However, in my experience, they've been the best performer but you have to play your cards right.
I've had experience dealing with streetgirls so I'm sure that has helped. Also, it seems that language is much more important than I previously thought to ensure great service from theses sgs.
Common sg scams.
1) bait and switch. This may happen if you try to call one from the numbers they give you. If the girl you want is unavaliable, they still want your business, and will typically send someone else over.
2) the 3-some scam. Be wary if the girl wants to know your room number, especially if they are texting it to someone else. This is the 2 girl scam, where they will voluntarily call a friend to your room and try to get you to pay for a two girl session. Note: if the 2nd girl stays for a certain period of time, you may be forced to pay for a session with her by the Chinese mafia.
Important note:
Keep in mind that the streetgirls on LHL are controlled by the Chinese mafia so no matter what happens in the room, if the girl is in your room for longer than 15' and some sort of action has taken place, you're pretty much required to pay her in full even though she didn't come though with everything promised. E. G. The girl agrees to BBBJ but once in the room, will only do CBJ. If you decide to dock the fee because of this, you may have Chinese mafia types at your door. That said, the girls typically don't use these bad boys to their advantage as it will also causes them pain and suffering for causing trouble and it's also bad for the reputation of streetgirls.
Please remember, going to the police may have you kick out of the country at the end of it all. Not really an option.
Tip, try to negotiate most of what you want before walking along with them too long. Once they've been walking with you for awhile and have signaled their boss that they've attained a customer, they will say anything to stay the course without any real intention of following through. This is probably due to the pressure placed on them by the Chinese mafia to close the deal.
Note, half the guys you see on the streets actually work for the Chinese mafia, they are alot of eyes on the streets. They will look out for their girls by spotting incoming police or serve as back up for the girls if trouble arises during the session.
My advice, keep a poker face and try to get the girl to follow though with all that was promised but know in the back of your head that you're going to eventually have to pay up.
3) the long time. The boss of the streetgirls instruct them to cut the long time early. Most LTs end at the end of their shift or about 4-7am. Overall, give Zhuhai a pass right now unless its on your way to macau. I spent a PG evening chatting up the beer bar girls and racking up their commission. It was fun however.

So I took one for the team and spent a couple of hours wandering around the greater LHL area at around 9pm.
I started at the Jin Yu sauna, which was completely closed. When I came out, next to the cute girl that advertises for the massage parlor I saw a tout-pimp whose services I'd used before. His girls are usually attractive but really hit or miss on service. 200 short time, most of the girls are reluctant to do long time. The procedure is that he can either call the girls straight to your hotel room, or you can walk to the opposite end of LHL near the McDonald's (the restaurant, not the dessert window) to take a look first. The girls will insist on a 10 RMB cab fare if you don't pick them, so be forewarned. They supposedly live near the Vanguard / Milan Hotel area as well, but never walked the streets and have been delivery only girls. He swore that there were no streetwalkers or sauna action, but I didn't believe him.
Then, the Good World sauna. The third floor is completely shut down and the second floor is dimmed but not closed - the papasan explained that for 388 you get a girl and a short time room at the hotel. The rate is 100 lower if you do not require a room. When I commented that I usually pay 288 there with use of a full sauna room, and sometimes even 238, I was met with a stupid grin. If I pushed for it, I think that's certainly possible. I went to the sixth floor to take a look and saw a lineup of 5 girls. One was particularly old (early 30s), and one was fairly good looking, but I did not partake.
Upon coming outside, two street walkers accosted me on my walk and offered their services, confirming Zhuhai08's report that street walkers are again available. One was fairly attractive and I got her number when offered, while the other one could stand to lose 10 pounds but still doable. Felt great to see street walkers again. Didn't confirm price, but would be shocked if it weren't the standard 200.
I continued down the street and a couple of the tricycle drivers asked if I wanted a girl. They stay in an apartment complex near the Vanguard, so if you pay the 5 RMB to get a ride there you can look at the women available there. The look and act like LHL girls, which is no surprise because most of them were LHL girls. Here is 200 ST, 50 of which goes to the tout, so if you repeat the area you can probably negotiate to something close to 150 and bypass the middle man.
Supposedly there's another area in this region that also has girls, which are exclusively takeout girls are not LHL girls. As I didn't know the tout offering such services and was a bit pressed for time, I did not take him up on the offer.
I continued down LHL and got to the corner where the umbrella bars start. A old woman mamasan insisted I check out the webcafe right next to the bank on that corner. I went up the stairs and relaxed in the lobby as girls were brought to me one at a time until webcafe management told me cameras are in the vicinity and I can't be doing that there. Fine. We walked further down the street (away from LHL) to get to the webcafe's back entrance, and I insisted the woman bring girls two at a time. After seeing a total of 8 girls I realized nothing was to be had, so I left slightly annoyed. Price here is also 200.
Back on LHL, Old Chang An is most certainly open, you just have to walk up the back entrance where the bathroom for the umbrella bar area is. If you don't know where that is, there should be a dude hanging around the former OCA sauna entrance that'll direct you to where you need to go. Three Dongbei girls arrived within the last week, so if you like the fresh ones that's where you can find them. List price is 300, but I know of people who get special discounts.
Down the street, a bit past the end of the umbrella bars, there was a group of eight girls standing there not doing anything. I bought a drink at Come Buy and one approached me and gave me her phone number. I chit chatted with them for a bit and they said that while things are still strict, I caught them at a lucky time.
At the bend of the street there is a tout offering Russian girls. I was curious and wanted to see one, but he said that he can only deliver to a hotel room and I can't see them in public. They're something special and he assures me of their quality for 500 ST, which I found to be a ridiculous price. Still, you can see there are plenty of options just on LHL, and plenty more in other, less travelled parts of ZH.

Yes you are correct the new bridge will end in Zhu hai on the east side, but there will be a new expressway that will connect the new Macau border to Hengqin that will be a 24 hr car and truck border.

Seems like there aren't much postings about Zhuhai lately, so I'll try to add some useful info:
Many of the saunas, I would put a rough figure of 80-90% (!), are no longer in operation and the dozen or so saunas I know still open are now much more cautious and secretive in their operation. BBS are in even worse shape, with about 90-95% of them vaporized! If I'm making Zhuhai sound like the lockdown has not ended, well, then I'm being more or less accurate.
**** It's not to say you can't find p4p, because you can. There are still a long list of KTVs open where you can take girls out but this involves contacting a manager BEFORE you go to avoid trouble. Several times I've been refused take- out service and told girls only "sing and drink" because they think one or more of my companions (or me?) are undercover police. In general, this option is guaranteed but expensive and time-consuming compared to other options. But this option has resulted in more than a few freebies for me personally, so for those of you living in ZH, it's a good investment of time and you don't necessarily have to invest much money.
You can also get lineups of girls by asking any taxi driver, pedicab driver, random pimps on the street, and even doormen at hotels. These middlemen will usually bring you to some apartment complex about 5 minutes from LHL and phone girls down in small groups. Before you get too excited about this, the quality is pretty bad (2-5 out of 10) but every once in a while, you'll see something interesting. There was even one tout that showed me lineups of LHL girls and I knew this because I recognized some of them and vice versa. But in general, this option is a real crap shoot and you can't put too much hope into this but if you're looking for pussy and have plenty of time/patience, it's worth a shot.
Then there are plenty of massage places that give handjobs and you can try your skills at winning the girl over with your charm/with/etc. And that usually leads to sex, but off-site. This option takes time and some Chinese language more than anything else.

In general, the p4p scene has greatly diminished in Zhuhai and I would say avoid Zhuhai if you're looking to come only for the p4p options. But if you have the time/patience/energy/language skills to spend just a little bit of time in the city, then there are a lot of possibilities in terms of meeting semi-p4p, freebies, flings, etc. Which is where I'm at now, a curious mix of p4p and non- p4p gals that take up my time.

I was in ZH last week and it was mostly dead. Didnt check out any Sauna as I never like them but did ask two taxi drivers and they said no more such in ZH, all moved to the border town of TanZhou, on the 1st highway exit before ZhongShan.
I went to ktv and they are running normally but the girls are mostly not back yet, so I had slim picking. They should be back this week though.

So one guy says 90% of the saunas are back to operation, while another says they're basically dead. The truth is somewhere in between - it's basically the same situation as SuperForce documented a while ago, except the Hai Jing Sauna is now closed for renovation. The Chang An Good World and Guo Tai are supposedly going to be operational soon, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Six girls just left the original Chang An this week, so the selection is lacking but I'm sure will pick back up soon.

I was in ZH last week and it was mostly dead. Didnt check out any Sauna as I never like them but did ask two taxi drivers and they said no more such in ZH, all moved to the border town of TanZhou, on the 1st highway exit before ZhongShan.

F.Hi Gents back in Zhuhai, and went for a look today unfortunately had my lady with me, I have to get the car serviced in the morning and will do a recy to see if I can find any action and will report back. I have previously not reported to much as it has been covered by others. Until now I have always been able to find something to play with, unfortunately that has changed except with paying through the nose at Gombei.
Went to Tanzhou this morning and could not find any thing of interest. On my way home went past some of the BBS that have been closed for some time, and found that there is a little action starting to return. They are very low key with no lights ect. First positive sign for some time. Saunas have still not surfaced; will check them out over the next few days. I am talking in the Xiangzhou area.

I was in China a few week ago every one tell me ZH sauna is dead so I take a bus from Shenzhen to Huizhou about 1 hr 30 min from Lowu 50 rmb, there are also bus from Gonbei to Huizhou city about 2 hr N/E, there must be about 20 hotel sauna around the Huizhou city main bus stations alone offer FS for more detail PM me or go to South China all area for report, no crack down there not yet anyway.

I moved to Zhuhai a month ago. Since I live here, I have time to explore. Most of the saunas in the hotels are closed. I walked into the sauna at the chang an holiday hotel and there was nobody inside. I was curious however so I walked inside anyway. Most of the lights were turned off and I saw the pool area. And signs depicting bikini girls indicating happier times. Then I heard a lot of talking coming from the stairwell. I opened the door to find at least 20 uniformed girls sitting in the stairwell chatting. There were two stairwells like this. I'm assuming these are the sauna girls, and they go up to the hotel rooms if you are a guest.
On LHL, there is a place by the outdoor stalls that will do it for 300. But they have a guy downstairs guarding the door. He asks if you have been there before. I think most of the saunas in the hotels on LHL are secretly open, you just have to pry a bit.
There is a massage place attached to a hotel all the way down LHL. It's 7 floors. I got a 35rmb foot massage to investigate. They do have 388 sensual massage packages with good looking girls.

New lights and signage have been installed in preparation for openings.

Great to see some postings happening again in Zhuhai and I'll add some of what I've been able to find out recently.
I also went to Tanzhou recently but what I found was not that exciting. There are saunas, BBS, and KTVs in that area, but to go there from Zhuhai just to monger then come back would not be ideal, or at least not on a regular basis. I have a few locations that I plan to try in the coming weeks and I'll report back then.
As for Zhuhai, there are about half a dozen saunas that are still open as far as I know, with the Old Chang An and Good World being definite ones and a few others irregularly open. One thing I've found is that if you know managers of the saunas from before the crackdown, they are more than willing to arrange a lineup of sauna girls to go to your hotel. Also, I know of one KTV manager who will do the same with KTV girls; this option would essentially be the same as going to a KTV and picking a girl (ie. 800 ST / 1000 LT) but you don't have to pay the room fee. Anyone interested, let me know.
In Xiangzhou, there are three saunas that are open as far as I know, one is near the Wan Jia Supermarket, one is near the computer city, and one is in an area I don't really know much about but in area right near the Xiangzhou and New Xiangzhou border.
The other options I've found recently are BBS in the Xiangzhou and New Xiangzhou districts. It's kind of hard to pinpoint them all exactly, but they are definitely there, I've found about 8-9 BBS and there are even bus stops (!) where girls wait. One distinct difference is that if you see a suspicious looking joint with bored looking young girls inside and PINK LIGHTING, that almost definitely means a HJ joint, but bored looking girls without pink lights means full service. I'm getting quoted a 130 RMB ST price so use that as a guideline, you might be able to get it cheaper, but don't pay more. HJ should be 30-35 RMB if I remember correctly. Some of the BBS have on-site facilities to fuck (bomb shelter, shit-quality room and bed) or you have to bring the gals back to your place/short time hotel.

Unless the sauna was literally under construction, I think every sauna I've gone to in Zhuhai in the past week was open, including some saunas that have been closed for a year or more, like the "black ropes sauna" and some other ones that are less frequently mentioned on this board and/or outside of Gongbei.
Chang An Holiday, Old CA, CA Good World, Jin Du, Guo Tai, Jiao Tong, Bu bu Gao, Hai Jing, and Hai Wan in Gongbei are all open (as in you can walk in the front door not having made a prior reservation) and eager for business and there are probably at least another half dozen popular ones in Gongbei I haven't had time to check out.
Another interesting thing is that it seems like LHL street walkers are no longer really around, as far as I can tell. But on the flipside, I've noticed a lot more BBSs around, but mostly outside of the Gongbei.

Hopped down to Zhuhai last weekend for a couple days of golf and some partying. Ended up staying at the new Changan International Hotel (?). Place is pretty damn fancy and high end. Would definitely stay here again.
Saturday night:
There's a sauna on the 6th floor. But as others here have reported, the saunas aren't exactly operating out in the open. I had to talk my way into seeing the selection (600 rmb for full service. Way on the high end for Zhuhai). Selection was extremely poor so I passed.
There's also a KTV in the hotel. Very nice and high end. Also on the expensive side for Zhuhai. 1200 rmb for the room, 300 rmb for the girls and 1300 rmb over night. Selection was mediocre but managed to pick out 2 girls after looking at about half the KTV. Not much talent outside when I walked around either. Other than the high end furnishings and KTV equipment, not much going for it.
Sunday night:
Next night I ended up going to? (menghuibali or "Dream Back of Paris") at the recommendation of one of the managers from the hotel KTV. I didn't recognize the name, but oddly enough, when I saw the KTV, I remembered I had spent several nights in a row here 2 or 3 years ago. Room is 680rmb, they have 2 tiers of girls. 200 rmb and 300 rmb (1000 and 1300 rmb overnight respectively).
I have to say the selection was surprisingly good. I'm used to impressive selections from all the KTVs I frequent in Beijing, and even compared to what I'm used to in high end Beijing KTVs, I thought the selection here was quite good. You won't be getting any 1. 75m Dongbei girls here, but then again, you won't have to pay 500-600rmb either. I ended up picking out 3 girls (after looking at about 40-50 girls). 2 300rmb ones and 1 200 rmb one. For those that have gone to KTV with me, you know I'm really picky, so it's rare for me to see so many I like. Mami kept bringing in girls and I eventually had to stop before I filled the room with girls.
Anyway, I would recommend this place as a definite must-visit if you're in Zhuhai. For those who don't know, here's the address and contact info:

SF99LHL is dog-gone, gone to eateries and shopping for tourists. "take-me-home-please" Dong-bei leggy gals are a thing of the past here although there are pockets of SW along YUEHAI LU and vicinity.
FE48, 60 days is pretty long, especially when March was barely right after the CNY holidays. Take it from the street. It has cleared up a whole lot since last Summer before Bro HU's visit.
Happy hours or coupons are few and far in between. Guess is they have to make up for lost time and gals are asking for more to keep up with cost of living.

I talk to my co worker and friend all the time they live in Zhu Hai, they been going to Huizhou and Zhongzhan for sauna action, they said outside of Gonbei is still ok but service and quality sucks and price is high alot less sauna in Zhu Hai now days.

Girls actually get there around 6:30pm. They don't let you into the building until 6:30pm anyway and they aren't allowed to take girls to the rooms until 7pm. I find KTVs generally start earlier down south. Girls usually don't get to work until 8-9pm up here in Beijing! We'll have to hang out when I'm back down in ZH again.

The place is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, right next door to a low end hotel, but once inside, it was really nice, can be considered high end ktv. The small room of 685 can be discounted to 550, so going there solo is ok. I ordered just two bottles of their cheap wine and mix wth 7 up, lasted the whole night from 7pm to 12 with a total of 7 people. (I made a mistake in asking for a DJ for extra 200 since the girls I initiall picked could not sing, but later mami brought in more girls who can sing so the DJ became a total waste. Unlike in CP, DJ is not mandotary in ZH)
I particularily appreciated the heat in the room as that really come in handy in the winter to keep the girls in their flimsy unifrom. I had them keep the heat on last night it was raining and actually quite cold.
Maybe it was a rainy Monday night, not too many girls last night, mami said more girls show up for work 4,5,6 and 1,2 the fewest. Anyway, they have more of the taller and busty type, and I am an old man and I like girls who are shorter and weight no more then 43kg, so selection was quite limited for me. *Now*, Zhuhai is a better bet than Zhongshan for everything but street walkers. Its saunas are comparably priced if you go to the right ones, and the selection is better simply because there are more within concentrated areas. SuperForce listed 9 saunas within tricycle distance of OCA, all of which (except for CA Holiday, that place sucks) are decent to great.
I have to summarize the sauna situation: go to OCA. It's the cheapest option of the Gongbei saunas, it's got the biggest selection, the girls are well trained in the routine although you have to be on top of it to ensure they're doing everything to the extent you want , and they have ropes.
So overall, it didnt work out too well on my first try of Dream Paris, unlike Joebanker00 who must be more experience with picking the right girls, but the hardware was great price quite reasonable, and I went the wrong time and weather, so I will give it anothe try before I head back to US.
Fillmore, I'm sorry that you didn't have a good time. That place has plenty of good memories for me, so it'll also hold a special place in my heart. KTVs in Zhuhai definitely have better selection on Thur/Fri/Sat because it costs more for girls to buy out their time. However, on the other days it's typically easier to bargain/ask for services as the girls are more desperate for business. If you want to ensure a good sexual experience definitely test them within the first 10 minutes or so to get a vibe, but I think you're too classy to be so crass.

The sauna price has gone up with some of the reopening in gonbei area and service and quality is way down, there are alot less sauna than 2 yr ago we use to able to get service under 200 rmb 2 yr ago on low end sauna outside of gonbei but no more, price is about 350. 500 rmb now 2yr ago you have no problem get service in gonbei for 300 rmb all over, I been going to Huizhou instead for sauna actions cost is 250-350 rmb servcie is great like ZH in the old days.

Last week, Before returning to US, I went to Zhuhai for ktv (JinSha, Sands). I know most people on this board are more interested in sauna and BBS, so sorry about that.
The basics are pretty much standard stuff, like be there before 6:30pm, unlike Wang Fu and Dream Paris where they strictly enforce 7pm rule, JinSha is more relax and will show girls earlier. I told the them to only show me girls weight no more then 42kg and height 1.6m, and indeed I got 3 beauties 40,41,42kg and all height 1.58 to 1.60m.
So one guy and 3 girls from 6:30, what can you do for the whole night? Turned out it can be a lot of fun with the right group of girls. OCA finished remodeling quite some time ago, but the quality of girls is terrible. Haven't seen a lineup of more than 3 or 4 girls there, and haven't partaken in the service. Still 260 club card price, you can haggle for 280, 300 is sticker price.
Good World is back in service. Maybe 5 or so girls that I've seen late night. Price is still 338 sticker but can be haggled to 300. Doable but not great.
Guo Tai still sells itself as the premium option. 398 is a bit steep, not sure it's worth the premium.

I went to CAGW last night with a 300RMB voucher in hand from my previous visit. I hadn't intended on doing a sauna but after an hour of sitting in a KTV room and staring at cleavage and thigh, well I'm sure you know the feeling.
There was only one girl available at CAGW, not the greatest of lookers but I've done a lot worse and wasn't in the mood to hunt anywhere else. The session was mediocre but did it's trick although my previous visit a month or so ago was much better.
On my travels, I have visited a sauna in Doumen (about an hour outside of Zhuhai) and one in Zhongshan. I have to say that comparatively, my experiences outside of Zhuhai have been much better, much like the sessions I had when I first arrived in Zhuhai. If anyone wants details on the Doumen one please pm me, the Zhongshan one was at a hotel called The Green Tree hotel or something like that.
There is still SW activity on LHL although much much more discreet. Let's be honest here, LHL at it's peak was ridiculous. The 2 minute walk past the bars would mean at least 4 approaches from SW's. Now it's a case of being approached by touts or having to ask.

But, there's always the issue of history and respect and perspective. I definitely value and enjoy your (and SuperFreak, and Dicknotist) updates.
We all have our baseline of expectations. The so-called 'Good old days".
In my last visits to China, I was not inspired to take time to visit Zhuhai. Years ago, it was an amazing place. It's not about SEX. It is about understanding roles, understanding cultures, understanding about how we should not judge others based on the culture we come from, but should open our minds in a better way.

I'm not really into waxing nostalgia about how great it was back in such and such a time, there is no point and definitely no point trying to fathom why. This is China, shit happens. When I do post, it is about whats available and whats not - good or bad. Anything else is superfluous.

Zhuhai ain't gonna come back - not the way it was.
And I THINK the reason is that there is a master plan at work for WESTERN part of the Pearl River Delta.
I was just in Zhongshan earlier today and I am amazed at all the road and rail etc construction going on there. The plan is to connect Zhuhai with Guangzhou with a Light rail system that only takes 42 minutes and with a highway which will connect Zhongshan with GZ and Zhuhai within 25-30 minutes each way - under an hour by car between Zhuhai and GZ.
There is also a bridge going up between Shenzhen and Zhongshan - much more south to the present Humen bridge and which will connect the 2 towns within 35 minutes.
I see that there is a whole lot of KTV's and saunas in Zhongshan - perhaps this is going to be THE place for these activities in the future; with Zhuhai being designated as the scenic family type of place that it really is well suited for - especially next to the bad bad city Macao!
Too much sin concentrated in 2 places too close to each other in the past!

Also, I'd appreciate MORE reports on Zhongshan and the action there. Maybe a good prospective destination for our hobby!!

But I do think that the "general sentiment" amongst the Powers that be is probably shifting towards this way of thinking. After all, Zhuhai prides itself as being a "model Garden City" for China - and what does it say when their "Lotus Flower Street" is instead where the only Li'l blossoms one finds.... are on high heels and full make-up??!!
I also see that the Powers that be do want to develop the western part of the Pearl River Delta - and with this desire, first comes a transport infrastructure (which at present is woefully inadequate), second, a realignment as to which area serves each function/purpose best/makes the best economic sense.

Sure, there was a crackdown for a few months, but all the big KTV's are up and running. Prices remain the same as they were 3 years ago, 200 sit, 600 ST, 1000 LT. Models (are they worth the extra for 4 inches extra in height?) 300 sit, 800 ST, 1200 LT. The range of chickens varies from hot to mediocre, fun to boring, and sweet to sour.
If streetwalkers are your thing, they are still around, just not the quantity and quality of the past. At least 3 bars in LHL have girls available for takeaway, if you're a regular punter you'll find them. Bear in mind that the majority of bar girls are just that, girls drinking beer and lightening your wallet. If you venture up LHL towards Guangdong Hotel hunting for chickens you're sure to get approached by the chickens or touts.
Saunas are not my usual thing, but talking to locals suggests that many are back in business, although some require connections to get entry.
Yes, the "good ol' days" are gone, but this is China, every day is an adventure, find your pleasure where you can, and check your sanity at the border.

Good to know there are others who also go to ktv in ZH. I have been to CP and decided to come back to ZH because I find ZH ktv to be better, at least for me. I can find better quality girls and I get better GFE. ZH also have far better options to take the ktv girls out before going back to the hotel room, as it is just a cleaner and nicer city then CP.
As long as ZH keep having the supply of KTV customers (maucau, taiwan plus mainland tourists), I think it will just keep running fine and I am not complaining.

- Xiachuan Dao has the best value and cheapest Tail (200RMB ST/ 400RMB LT-no tipping allowed), w/ a flat rate on the island. Selection during early high season (May) is insane! You get all the fresh ones before the mainland dudes arrive in June. Met, played and correspond w/ several Northern girls I met during two visits, one from Ningxia, one from Xi'an, the other from Harbin. They will meet you in Zhuhai for off-the-clock weekends, too. Total GFE, from BBBJ, 69, RAW, etc. Otherwise, Changping and Dongguan were pretty good value for the service.
- Beijing was super expensive but I haven't been to Shanghai.
- Again, Beijing was expensive and least value. Fuzhou is a rip off. Shenzen, unless it's a SW, you're going to get ripped off-at least, I did.
- To fall in love, I think I would avoid all of mainland China and go for the Philippines. IMHO. However, if you find a good Chinese girl, your dreams may be fulfilled. It's just a tougher sell for a laowai over there. In Angeles City, the fish are literally jumping into the boat.

I was in Hainan last yr on a tour with my Hk friend, Haikou did change alot since 2002 didn't see any SW or bbs, there are many resort in Sanya and expensive KTV, the goverment want this place to be a family and international tourist city not a good place for mongering anymore.

The town is Shantsui mean mouth of the mountain is in Taishan county is about 90 min from Zhu hai, I think cost is 70 rmb 6 a day from the bus station below the KFC near the beggining of LHL.

The name of the ferry terminal is Shanju Gang (?), it is actually located in Taishan county. When I caught the bus there, it was not at the bus terminal located below KFC, it was the bus terminal located across the road from KFC, next to Macau border. Give me a call if you want more info.

Be careful at the second bus station as the attendants seem to have other things to do than make sure you get on the right bus. It's kind of a mess. Ask, ask, ask. Once you get to Shanzui, go in the hotel lobby to buy your ferry ticket. The last boat to Xiachuan (in high season) leaves at 4:00 pm Miss that, and you're stuck at Shanzui for the night or you can hire a taxi to take you somewhere else. The hotel is actually very nice and I once spent the night there. It was fun and pussy was available.
P.S. I've asked around to see if any LE activity has affected Xiachuan's business and so far it appears everything is still banging-literally.

ThanksIn Zhuhai you can get it for 30 RMB ST. Around the corner from where I am living now, it is 50 RMB ST.
LT you can get for 350 RMB. But its more out of the way.
Just info for the ones who want to know. You can see that one can get it cheap in Zhuhai too. But it is really "cheap" though.
Interesting and sad to see what young girls are willing to do for 30 RMb, minus commission for the mami, because they are young and unexperienced and don't know anything, and need desperately money. What's left for them? Maybe 10 or 15 RMB for ST.

About Xia Chuan Dao, I first heard of this place from a HK businessman 2 years ago. And actually followed him there once about over a year ago.
This is not a weekend get away. It's very time consuming to get there. From Shenzen or Zhuhai, estimate 5 hours to get there, including bus ride, boat ride and several connecting shuttles and waiting time.
I did not know there is a straight bus to get there from Zhuhai border terminal. Last trip, the HK guy took me on a bus to someplace called Taishan terminal, then changed local bus to ferry terminal, then got on the short ferry ride, then again changed shuttle bus into the recreation beach area where all the bbs are. It's a hassle to get there.
I only made one trip there, but when I was there I thought the overall quality is not as good as CP. But it's a budget destination where 150-200 yuan can get you decent rooms. And girls cost 200ST and 400LT. But many girls would ask you tips of 40 or more, they call it the "tour guide fee" or something. The HK friend told me it's like a tip and not compulsory. These girls on Xia Chuan are mostly very very country like, or you can call it fresh. Many have no clue about serving.
About Zhuhai, I passed Macao and went in Zhuhai for a night. It is still the same, very bad. LHL angels are completely gone. You have to rely on street pimps to get a girl to your room which is not a guarantee. Did not try saunas this time, because all the guys told me about the very limited lineups and all open in secret, and using regular hotel rooms, not much difference getting a bbs girl.

1. It is somewhat of an ordeal getting to and from Xiachuan. The deal is there are two buses. Here's a tip I picked up the first trip: Use the information I posted earlier to get on the express bus to Shanzui. Once you get to the Shanzui port, directly to the right of the hotel is a little shop that acts as a money-changer, et. Al They also run the booking office of the DIRECT GONGBEI to SHANZUI bus. Before entering the ferry "terminal" / hotel lobby, go to the shop on the right and pick up their business card. Just fucking do it. Buy a bottle of water from them and ask about the bus.
2. There's obviously two buses that go to Shanzui. The slow, all-stop runs through Taishan and you board that one at the main bus station in Zhuhai, below the KFC. The express bus runs from the other terminal I mentioned and uses the main highway, with maybe three or four stops between Zhuhai and Shanzui. That bus that runs through Taishan is a motherfucker. The drivers are insane. It's stop and go all the way. Now. Once you made it Xiachuan, fucked the country girls (which I personally prefer to so-called 'models'), you're back at the port and there's no outbound bus station. The buses are just idling there in the parking lot. Unless you know to take the PURPLE express bus or buy your ticket from the agent / shop I mentioned earlier, use the business card I told you to pick up.
3. The service on Xiachuan can be hit-or-miss. And yes, the Shanghai dongbei type is rare. What you do get are northern country girls with bigger titties and less wear and tear. If you're choosy, take your time, or move to the hotel up on the mountain (I forgot the name, something live Pearl Garden Resort-you'll see it). The island mamasans are like sharks. They know you're coming the minute you get on the boat at Shanzui. The pussy will find you. Go in the early season, beginning of May, and they're hungry and fresh. Go high season, they're spoiled and lazy. Knock one of them up and expect her to find you. My definition of "service" is enthusiastic GFE. I don't need a tongue in my ass, although I will put mine in hers. Different strokes for.
4. The prices you listen are spot-on. I was told by my mainland employer that tipping is discouraged, lest it disrupt the island economics and the girls start expecting it! The LT of course you're on the hook for feeding and getting drunk at one of the seaside karoake joints, or take her to the only disco on the island and watch her do her thing. Either way, 450 for a fresh LT in a tropical setting is appreciated. Stay in one of the hotels that are directly across from the beach. In late July, the rate for a Saturday night is outrageous-Y800. It goes back down to Y150 on Sunday.
5. My experience says go mid-week. Leave on Saturday morning.

1. How long will it take the whole trip going to the destination in Sha Chun Dao using the direct bus you mentioned including the boat ride?
2.Quality about “Northern country girls”? How are they rated comparing to the girls we normally saw in sauna houses in Zhu Hai? I do like the “Shanghai dongbei type” girls over the short Southern girls, but would like to find out more about what are offered on this island.

Thank you both for clarifying the transportation methods and providing different perspectives of xhia Chun Dao. I heard about this island from some frinds a while back, but never get the chance to visit. Could you give a little more detail for the followig,
1. How long will it take the whole trip going to the destination in Sha Chun Dao using the direct bus you mentioned including the boat ride?
2.Quality about “Northern country girls”? How are they rated comparing to the girls we normally saw in sauna houses in Zhu Hai? I do like the “Shanghai dongbei type” girls over the short Southern girls, but would like to find out more about what are offered on this island.

1. From Zhuhai, the express bus is about two hours to Shanzui-give or take. The ferry boat to the island is maybe a 30-minute ride, depending upon the sea conditions. Last trip, I caught a 1:35pm bus from Gongbei and was on Xiachuan around 4:00pm. Once you arrive at the Xiachuan wharf, you'll pay Y10 to have a minibus take you over the island (it's a beautiful ride) for a 15-20 minute trip to where the hotels are. There is also a Y40 admission fee for the "resort area".
2. My experience was from last year, so this year's crop may be different. There was the entire range of WGs on the island. In fact, a lot of the girls (used to) work in the Zhuhai saunas from October to April, when Xiachuan is in off-season. So there's a lot of young, fresh faces, and they are constantly coming and going. Now, once you've been there and made some friends, you can arrange with a mamasan to meet you in Zhuhai with a collection of girls. They will escort you back to Xiachuan, if need be. Fucking amazing. I witnessed several groups of Taiwanese businessmen being met at the ferry terminal in Shanzui. Once you're on the boat, you will also get a taste of what's to offer on the island, since like I said before, the girls are coming and going all the time. The boat is about one-third mongers, one-third local men coming or going to work, and the remaining third WGs. Anyway, to fully answer your question, the only way to know is to go. You will be shown dozens of girls immediately upon arrival at your hotel. Every place has a ji wo off the lobby. Since you get there in the afternoon, it's wise to pick a ST and take the edge off. DO NOT CHOOSE AN LT ON FIRST SIGHT. Wait until the evening when the whole beach area is crawling with WGs. They might seem like indie contractors, but all of them work for someone. As far as I know, it's no problem to take an LT from the Huitian Hotel to the Guiyang where you are staying. The Guiyang mamasan will pressure you to take one of her girls but it doesn't matter.
3. The Wang Fu Zhou area is actually very small. If you're standing on the beach, looking out to the sea, to your right at 3:00, you'll see a hotel that's above all the others, built into a hill. I'm sorry I can't remember the name and the hotel page on the website is in Chinese and I can't read it. Anyway, it's the high-end resort on the island. THAT'S where all your "dongbeis" are. Prices up there, from what I heard, are not the same as in the main area. Frankly, even in low season, a room up there was like Y1500 a night, and way out of my league.
4. Again, if you speak Chinese, you can call direct to the hotline. I made friends with a guy named Mr. Chen, he gave me his card, and said next time you come, call me, I'll arrange everything. However, I already had a GF from a previous trip, so I didn't need his help. Otherwise, just get your ass over there and see what happens. 90% of the island's economy is our type of tourism. You will be taken care of at every level, but of course, EVERYONE wants a piece of your action, from the moto-taxi guys to the fruit vendors. Watch for rip-offs. Contest every price (except WG fees). On a side note, on the second night of my first trip, there was some sort of theft incident (in which a WG alledgedly stole someone's purse or wallet) and the whole island was shut down until they found the girl. That meant no boats in or out. We actually had to spend an extra night there. It took them about 24 hrs. To find her and my boss said that if we really wanted to leave, they would have arranged it. But the point is, the place is ridiculously safe. But I would call first to check the bus and boat schedules, and definitely the room rates for the period you want to go. I'm not kidding, the rates more than triple on a Saturday night.

Went in Zhuhai for a night again last week. Chang An Good World sauna was open, but lineup was terrible, only with 4 girls. The manager said more coming later, I checked out again later hour, but still the same girls plus another 2. Price I remember was 380. Did not take one. Manager said they still shut the store quite often.
The pimps are all over LHL and even in internet cafes. I was in an internet cafe in some alley near LHL and saw a whole group of girls playing games, and I chatted with one next to me, and she told me they all can go with me, and wanted me to pick one, I picked one with slender body, and we went. 200 yuan ST.
No bbbj, only cover. The girl told me many girls hang out in internet cafes waiting for street pimps to call. But not all girls in internet cafes are workers. But surely many are.

According to my friend, the Chang an Hotel is where the action is at. I walked there and along the way I could sense wg about. At around 9pm, up the block near the outside bars slews of wgs usually in pairs. I wanted to try but since I was solo didnt partake. Around Gongbei port are bbs. Older bbs were trying to solicit me with a LE in plain sight. So nada. I was just wondering what the prices were for the wgs and bbs.

Agree with the comments regarding looking back to the past, but rather looking to the future.
It's with this in mind I would like to enquire a bit more about Zhongshan. From what I've heard it sounds like a developed city so I'm quite surprised to read Joe's and others' comments that it's starting to look like a strong hobby destination.
Can anyone shed a little more light on this city and other than the Zhuhai board, are we covering this city well enough?

Zhuhai ain't gonna come back - not the way it was.
And I THINK the reason is that there is a master plan at work for WESTERN part of the Pearl River Delta.
I was just in Zhongshan earlier today and I am amazed at all the road and rail etc construction going on there. The plan is to connect Zhuhai with Guangzhou with a Light rail system that only takes 42 minutes and with a highway which will connect Zhongshan with GZ and Zhuhai within 25-30 minutes each way - under an hour by car between Zhuhai and GZ.
There is also a bridge going up between Shenzhen and Zhongshan - much more south to the present Humen bridge and which will connect the 2 towns within 35 minutes.
I see that there is a whole lot of KTV's and saunas in Zhongshan - perhaps this is going to be THE place for these activities in the future; with Zhuhai being designated as the scenic family type of place that it really is well suited for - especially next to the bad bad city Macao!
Too much sin concentrated in 2 places too close to each other in the past!
Whaddya guys think?
Also, I'd appreciate MORE reports on Zhongshan and the action there. Maybe a good prospective destination for our hobby!!

It is very much an eat, fuck, drink, fuck, sleep, and fuck type of place. There will never be a shopping center on Xiachuan, which is why I like it. No offense, sir, but really, the only reason I would be at a shopping mall is to see if I can pick up a WG or freebie, and come to think of it, I could do that in CP or Pattaya or Angeles City or just about any other mongering location with its own thread.
Oh, and you are also right on the money about two other things:
1. Most of the WGs want you to take them LT vs. ST. Very true. Which is why I recommend (again, in all CAPS) that you DO NOT take a WG for LT on first sight. The WGs outnumber men on the island like 100-1. You can be choosy here.
2. Most of the patrons are Taiwanese because most of the investment on the island is Taiwanese. It's one of the secret "playgrounds" for TW businessmen. They tell their wives they're going to Macau (which they are, since that's really the only way to get there) and jet down to Xiachuan. Almost every business in the Wang Fu Zhou resort area is Taiwanese-owned.
Again, no offense but I take minor exception to a couple of things. First, I don't believe it's necessary to go with a friend, unless you're the type of person who can't stand to be without a wingman. I went solo last time (and may be going solo next month if I can't meet up with a few other ISGers) and I had an amazing buffet of pussy.
And finally, aside from fucking, there are some reasonably interesting sights on and around the island. It's an incredibly provincial and isolated little community. You get to see autonomous Chinese life in a way you don't get on the mainland. In fact, LE always calls a day in advance to let them know they're coming out, so there won't be any surprises. It's a truly unique little place.
And having said that, you're right. Most people would be bored there. Therefore, I now change my recommendation from "GO THERE NOW" to "DON'T GO AT ALL". That's right, go to CP. Avoid Xiachuan at all costs. Thank you. Good night.

The saunas are 398 RMB and up for FS. I only went to KTV once but it was a high end one. I think the girls were 3-7-12 but that might of been a laowai price. I did not partake. You can always find a few SW working the area from the International Hotel to the Fu Hao Hotel. I've been to a few BBS nearby but it is not CP and the quality/quantity is limited.
IMHO, Zhongshan is just another S. China city with action to be found but not a mongering destination per se.

ThanksIf by "around the port" means within a 10 minute walk, there are several to be found in the alleyways that shoot off from bar street (Lianhua Lu), in either east/west direction, however, they're very low-key and move frequently. If you're walking north on Lianhua, check the alleys right before the stretch of outdoor bars. If you get to Chang An, you've gone too far. Oh, and be careful at night. Some of those alleys are flat-out scary.
Hopefully by the time you return it won't be so much of a fucking scavenger hunt.
I was referring to the alleyways where about ten mid-thirties ladies sit outside on chairs and solicit you. The port is a 5-10 minute walk toward macao.

I work in HK and go to Macau about once a month. However, I have never been to Zhuhai. From reading some of the recent post here, it seems as if it is not worth the trip to cross over from Macau into Zhuhai to check out the action with China girls. Is my assumption correct?
I like to go to one location for a good selection of girls (e.g., massage place or sauna), and NOT deal with pimps or girls walking the street (too much trouble plus hit and miss service). I am not trying to find the most cheap f_ck, but more of a GFE and I am willing to pay a little bit more (e.g., up to $1,000 HK). For guys who been to both Zhuhai and Macau (and considering my preference) which is better in your opinion? Thanks a ton!

I was not able to get a room at the Grand Bay View so I just randomly called other 5 star hotels in the area, and ended up at this new hotel. What a mistake, the room was too big for the AC to fully cool it so I have to switch to another room and still same problem (ended up with 28 deg after max cool setting for hours). This hotel is basically flawed in its design with the AC system to handle typical summer heat.
Interestingly, when I check out (5am), another guy was at the front desk waiting for his room change, for the same reason, his room was too hot to sleep!
In terms of being girl friendly, this hotel is more relaxed then Grand Bay View. Zuhai is becoming like Guangzhou, guys. Girls need to register go get in and when leaving the room, they will be stopped and questioned, like name of their "friend" etc, at least that is now the policy at Grand Bay View.
The ktv scene is still alive and kicking, but girls need to change back to their street clothing right after sitting down.

ZH is a good deal if you are into quantity, rather than, quality. Other small towns in Guangdong have the same quality, albeit lower end facilities, for less than 200RMB. It has been some time since I have done Macau sauna, but my recollection is that you do not get the same "menu of services" that is available in China saunas and the price is 3-5X in Macau.
I very, very, rarely see an 8-9 in any sauna. Think about it, what stunner would want to work so hard, 3-4 times a day, sticking her tongue up punters' assholes?
I would not expect much better on your next visit.

IMHO, CP is unique. I've not found anything even close but, as you know, my experience is mostly S. China.
There have been some rumors about other towns nearby CP picking up, but I have not experienced them first hand, nor have I been to Xiachuan. I may join you if you plan a trip. I could drive us down to the ferry if it is safe to park there.
There is supposed to be a place about 1 hour from Shanghai that everybody talked about when I was living there. I never made it but I wonder if it is still going.
I did fine a nice strip of BBS in Haikou with good talent last time I was there, but I understand it is a fraction of what it was in the "good old days".
This crackdown is putting a real damper on our hobby mate.

I went twice from GZ to ZH last week and staying at two different hotels and each time I took two girls into these hotels after 11pm and no problem at all. You cannot do that in GZ, but ZH still ok, even though they have posted new notice at hotel lobbies about new policy to be strictly enforce to register all visitors at all time.
Unlike GZ and Fushan, ZH ktv girls are abolute treats, far better then those I had found in CP. Almost everytime with every girl I had wonderful GFE.

I went twice from GZ to ZH last week and staying at two different hotels and each time I took two girls into these hotels after 11pm and no problem at all. You cannot do that in GZ, but ZH still ok, even though they have posted new notice at hotel lobbies about new policy to be strictly enforce to register all visitors at all time.
Unlike GZ and Fushan, ZH ktv girls are abolute treats, far better then those I had found in CP. Almost everytime with every girl I had wonderful GFE.

Basically all ktv are similar in ZH, but those operated independent of a hotel are usually with better values. The most popular are WangFu, Dream Paris and JinSha. They are all the same, the key is to go there a few times. The first time you will not get great result as you need to get to know a few girls first and earn their trust so their friends will thus also become much eaiser. It is also very important to pick the right girls and that also takes effort and experience.

well, maybe my way of ktv, others might have a different way to play and you may also get lucky to find the right girl the first time. i usually pick 4-5 girls and two of them would be "old friends". the whole night i would be a nice gentleman and the two gf girls will induce the whole group to "[CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123)" me, (with their hands). i can never produce such effect if i don't know any of them and the whole evening would be the boring routine of singing and playing dice games.

I will be in Macau next week. Was going to go to Zhuhai after but doesn't seem worth going now. Is it off-season now in Xiachuan island? Will there still be action there? Is it worth going to Xiachuan island in November or should I just go to Chang Ping?
