I will be in Macau next week. Was going to go to Zhuhai after but doesn't seem worth going now. Is it off-season now in Xiachuan island? Will there still be action there? Is it worth going to Xiachuan island in November or should I just go to Chang Ping?

It depend on your objective like Uncle Joe said it is hard to get to just for mongering, but there is other thing to do ok beach for swimming, fishing and snokeling even in winter south China sea is nice and warm and less rain, there are less girl and less monger so thing even out.

I was in Zhuhai yesterday on LHL.

ChangAn Spa (the one that is near to 1st beer/coffee kiosk) was closed. A lot of other stuff was closed too. In fact only about 25% of the kiosk/cafes were open as of 2pm with few to no people sitting at them.

I'm sure that part of this is caused by the Airshow that is happening this week in Zhuhai (crackdown before the airshow); and does not help that Athlete Games happening is Guangzhou is also happening the same week. Don't know if business will get better after these 2 shows or not.

Some older woman (40's?) came up to talk to me. Slender, and pretty good English. She asked if I want to go to her place and boink. At first I was thinking NO WAY, but then she reminds me of one of my neighbors wife, and since he's a good friend that I could not stab in the back, I figure this is kind of like living that fantasy without stabbing him.

Her place is located about 5-7 mins off LHL in some apartment. We go there, shower, and boink, then shower, then sit around relaxing and talking. Total time was 150 RMB for 2 1/2 hours, and I got several showers and a place to rest. She was willing to boink again for no more extra money. (could be 150 rmb for 2 boinks and a couple of hours to relax). I was tired from previous days of stress, so it was actually kind of nice to relax and her BBBJ was OK (kind of funny when I CIM).

She said she does this during daytime but cannot do it in the evening. She gave me her name/number, and I think I still have it.

i'm posting this in the zhuhai section because doumen is offically part of zhuhai.

doumen/jingan town is located west of zhuhai/jida. if you take a taxi directly from gongbei to doumen/jingan, it will take about 45-55 minutes, and about 100 rmb on the taxi meter.

main road through jingan town is zhongxing middle road.

there is a small bus stop located next to binhai hotel. busses 601 and 609 can get you to zhuhai in about 2 hours, and depart every 20 minutes (each making several stops along the way).

hotels:
- bin hai hotel. 2 1/2 star, pretty old. wired internet (no wireless), isg-friendly, ac, 15 stories tall, bankofchina below, no in-room safe. breakfast has 5 small items and serves only water (what kind of chinese breakfast does not even serve tea?).
- catering hotel. nicest hotel in town and about 3.5 - 4 star. on xidi road which is a road that runs parallel to a riverwalk park.
- gold xxxx hotel (jinanxicanting). located on the other side of the river from the other 2 hotels and on lianqiao road.

shopping: about 5 minutes walk from catering and binhai is renmin road. pedestrian-only street. it has 2 kfc (1 mcdonalds is nearby on zhongxing middle road). has several 10x10 umbrella cafes (similar to lhl in gongbei), but they do not serve alcohol on this street. about 1km pedestrian shopping street, but no sw girls or sauna or pub in this area but my time spent there was very little (maybe at right time of night it improves? i'm not sure, but doubt it).

taxi is not always easy to find. if you find one, get the drivers card so you can call him later if you need a taxi. they also try to overcharge by not using the meter and ask 40rmb for what a 10rmb (miniumum charge) should be.

bars.
there are 2 jiubajie (barstreets) in this town and they are both really small.
4 dice bars are grouped together at the intersection of zhongxing middle road and nanwan 2nd road. "o2" bar and "v8" bars are located here. beer is 70 rmb for 6 (330ml) tsingtao. o2 bar has 3 small dance stage/poles where bartender girls sometimes dance during the night, and they have some theater smoke.
about 3-4 other dice bars located on xidi lu (along the riverwalk). cannot remember the name of them (i think 1 is called "club bar", and other called "high class"). had 12 tsingtao for 110 rmb.

food. one of the better restaurants in town is "butterfly loves flower", has good variety of chinese food and western steak. located on the same intersection as o2 and v8 bars, but across the intersection from them.


ktv. serveral ktv spread around here. one of the nicer/big ones is on zhongxing middle road and between the binhai hotel and v8/o2 bars. about 20 steps up to the front door. have a picture of a big blue diamond on it above the main door.
several other smaller ktvs located near the other bars, and some rep001tered in other places but they are fairly small, binhai hotel has one on 3f. i didn't look into ktv much, but later when talking with taxi it sounds like most of the ktv is the bring-your-own-girl type of place. hard to say though because maybe there was a crackdown happening due to events happening in zhuhai as well.


footie. found a footie place (40 rmb for 1 hour) located on xidi lu. body massage is 60 rmb for 1 hour. body massage did not include handjob even when i asked for it!! i think maybe they don't do it there because doors have windows (that what the girl said, i told her to cover with a towel but she refused).

sauna. i think a sauna/spa is next door to the footie place, but i didn't have time to try. i think it's the kind of spa where men and women customers both go. i did not have time to explore the spa/sauna scene.


bbs. finally found a bbs street in this small town. about 5 bbs each with about 7 girls. to get there. go south on zhongxing middle road, right turn onto nanwan 3rd road (which is about 1 block south of nanwan 2nd road where o2/v8 bars are). this road will come to a "t" (you are on nanwan 3rd rd, and jingwan lu is top of the "t") and hospital/clinic is here. go left onto jingwan lu. the jing'an radio & tv station" is on this road on left side of the road but just keep walking along jingwan lu. 5 bbs on the right side of the road. 3 of the bbs is dine-in only and girls cannot go to your hotel (price was 150rmb). i went to the 2 other bbs where girls can go to your hotel. picked up a girl for a 200rmb boink at my hotel. cannot remember too much about her, but i think she was pretty good (i was drunk, tired, exhausted and when woke up next day could not remember too many details).

There are crack down all the time in different area of ZH, you just need to know which area got actions most of you only know Gonbei LHL missing many other area is like going to Macau and roll the dice do you feel lucky today.

I went to XiaChuan island last week for 3 days and this is my report. I found that the information about XiaChuan on the board is a bit scarce so I will try to throw in as much info as possible.

I found a lot of info on this board which allowed me to make it to Xiachuan, have a good time and come back! I am especially grateful to Shark San, we exchanged messages using the private msg system, he gave me extremely useful info, thanks!!

How to get there
XiaChuan下川 is a small island south of Guangdong province about 2 hours from Zhuhai. First place you need to get to is Zhuhai Gongbei(拱北）bus station. If you're coming in from HK, take the ferry to Zhuhai jiuzhou port(九洲港），there are ferries from the China ferry terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui尖沙咀 and probably from HK island too. Once you get to JiuZhou port, take a bus (10-15 mins) to the Gongbei bus station (ask people at JiuZhou port about the bus to Gongbei), keep your ferry ticket as it will allow you to take the bus to Gongbei for free. IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP : Now might be a good time to withdraw money if you have an international non-Unionpay ATM card(China bank ATM at JiuZhou). Once you get to Gongbei, things get a bit more complicated, I had to ask a lot of people to find the right bus terminal. You need to find a bus terminal called XinHeGongBeiTongDaKeYunZhan(信禾拱北通大客运站），this is were you can take a bus to Shanzu port山咀港, this is the port were you take the ferry to XiaChuan. There is a bus that goes straight there, here is the time schedule : 8:15,10:30,11:30,12:30,1:30,3:05. There may be other ways to get to Shanzu but the direct bus is probably the easiest way, get on the bus at Gongbei, enjoy the 2 hours ride then get down at the last stop Shanzu. Once at Shanzu port, you take the ferry to XiaChuan, takes about 45 mins to get there. After you set foot on the island, take a bus to WangFuZhou王府洲, just ask after you get off the ferry and someone will show you were to take the bus. 20 mins bus ride and you'll get to WangFuZhou were all the action is, pay 40 RMB "Entrance" fee and you're there ready for action. Note : Buses departure time and destination are displayed only in Chinese at GongBei. Clerk speaks only Chinese, same on the ferry to XiaChuan. After you leave JiuZhou it's pretty much Chinese only.

I was there for 3 days(mid-November), found a hotel at 100RMB a night with internet access. Hotel was half empty, obviously the low season. I met a Japanese guy on my way there, it was his 3rd time to Xiachuan, he said the place was dead compared to September. First night I went to check out the action, girls and mamas usually are outside and try to get you to pick a girl. I saw maybe 100 girls and at most 10 guys walking around, it was obviously a buyers' market. Most girls are very young(18-20), 25 is considered mature on the island. Price is 200 ST 快餐 quick meal as they call it, LT is 400. Some girls are more honest than others, I had one ask for more for kissing and BJ. 200 is for 2 hours but as soon as you come the girl usually leaves. I have not tried LT but the Japanese guy told me some girls try to rip you off, ask for 200 more in the middle of the night. From my experience, the service was usually better with mature(23-25) girls. The girls are mostly from Hunan and Hubei, farmers' girls going there to make money and send back to the family. My worst experience was with a 20 year old Hunan girl, 200 no BF no kiss, asked for more money. Keep saying it hurts, she was gone after 30 mins. Best experience was with a 25 yo Xian girl, gave me 2 hours, long shower, kissing BJ everything, very into it, nice conversation, gave her 300, had her everyday for 3 days.

It is worth it?
Depends, I am white and my mandarin level is upper intermediate, I can read enough not to get lost and can handle a moderately complex conversation. After 2 days the whole place knew about me, the Chinese speaking Laowai so I decided it was time to leave. If you don't look asian, prepare yourself to get a lot of attention(for better or worse). Except for the Japanese guy, all the other non-local(non mainland Chinese) guys I met were HK, Macau or Taiwanese. Nobody on the island speaks English so I would not recommend to go there alone if you don't speak the language. As mentioned before, there isn't much to do but fucking, food is good and cheap.

Pros
- Very cheap, 200RMB for short time, if you look around and ask you can get a girl that kisses, BJ and fuck for that price.
- No discrimination! I mention this because last time I went to China (Shanghai) they used to charged me 300RMB, then I would ask some Chinese guy and he would tell that they pay only 150. On XiaChuan, it's the same price whether you are white or asian or Chinese.
- Lots of sea food and it's cheap.
- Girls are very young(see cons)
- Good if you want to hang out. Girls will have dinner with you, go to KTV with you etc. If you're looking for more than just fucking and speak Chinese, you can go on dates, spend the night together etc. Most of the ethnic Chinese I met seemed to enjoy this. Personally I prefer focussing on the action, don't wanna wake up in the morning to find the girl and my wallet gone.
- Safe. I never felt it was dangerous, there was a safe at the hotel where you can store your passport.

Cons
- Pretty much off limits for non-Chinese speakers unless someone goes with you. I spend half my day hanging around chatting with ladies, that made the trip more interesting. The Japanese guy left after 1 day because he couldn't talk to anybody. The ladies' mandarin level varies from excellent to I could barely understand, especially those from Hunan, they've got this weird accent. Mandarin is bad, English is non-existent.
- Very far. Even if you plan well and don't wait too long at GongBei and Shanzu, it's still at least half a day from HK.
- Girls are very young, if you prefer them a bit more mature(25-35) the choice is limited.
- No ATM on the island. There is only one ATM at WangFuZhou and it takes only Unionpay cards. You need to bring in a lot of cash, last chance is at Gongbei station.


Get back.
Here's the bus schedule from Shanzu to Gongbei. 8:45,(10:15),10:45,11:45,12:45,(1:15),2:45,(4:15),4:45. I am not really sure what the time between parentheses means.(that's how it's written on the leaflet).

From what I've been told, it seems the place is targeting mostly Chinese tourists, not foreigners. There is a big sign at the entrance of WangFuZhou that says welcome, in Chinese only. Hotel girl spoke no English at all. Will I go back? Not sure... As the Japanese guy told me, you need to monger 3 times a day to make it worth it. Don't go there for one day, HK may be a bit more expensive but it's probably more convenient and less risky.

Very good report I been to both Xiachuan and shanchuan island 2 time, there are some nice beach here many other thing to do other than mongering, I don't think it is that cheap here there are many cheaper, yes girl are young but Quality is very average than girl at Zhu hai and Shenzhen where I can also get ST for 200 rmb, if you are compare to HK cost will be much cheaper.

So despite the closings due to air shows now, Have the big crackdown finally ended and things almost back to normal in ZH.

I was on LHL in March and it was totally dead, NO SW or freelancers anywhere no matter what time of night. The umbrella bars were all open and that was about it. Also, most if not all the saunas inside all the hotels were closed or some secretly open only to long time past customers.

fzi doubt that this "crackdown" will ever end. if you look back at the reports, zhuhai has been like this for quite some time, way before the airshow or the asian games. lhl has been this way for ages now and not likely to return to the days of seeing an army of sw's parading up and down. why? zh is very much under the spotlight now due to the new high speed rail link to guangzhou. this place had to be cleaned up and to be kept clean.

i have said it before, zh is no longer a mongering hotspot, its just a regular chinese city. and like most cities here, you can get action. you just need to know where to look or who to ask. there is p4p to be had on lhl, its just not as blatant as it used to be.

i am in zhu hai now just arrive today form cp after spending 2 days there, just did a sichuan beauty offer by a mamasan in front of chang an hotel at lhl 198 rmb a night nice room very rush service 200 rmb, most sauna in gonbei are still closed and no sw in the st like the old day so you guy need to find them.

i think the elevated fast train will be in service late next yr is not high speed like the one in europe, it is like the one from shanghai to hangzhou in less than and hour.

Took me quite a long time just to pick a girl I thought was "decent". Price for the room / girls was also more than Dream Back to Paris (something like 1000 minimum room charge vs 680 and 1500 for girls overnight vs 1200. But the girls at Changan are 300 sitting fee while the girls at Dream Back to Paris are 200/300). Perhaps the girls are better now, but not really worth the extra cost.

There are many travel agent at the under ground mall as you exit the Gonbei border, I got a room at Chan An at LHL for 198 rmb on weekdays 228 rmb for weekend, but you need to paid upfront they will give you a voucher to check in, they will also book hotel for Macau and Hong kong and tour package also.

officially, doumen is part of zhuhai, so it's why i'm posting info about doumen (jingan town) in this part of isg.

i was walking to the line of 5 bbs shops, but took a wrong turn (i should've looked at my own map / notes before leaving for it). ending up finding a single massage / bbs shop.

if you are at the intersection of where "o2 bar" and "butterfly" restaurant are, you walk to the west (about 150 meters?) and then about 50 meters before the next major intersection (jingwan lu) it will be on your right. it's a very small shop, and on both sides of it were small beauty parlors. standing in the doorway was a woman (i'm guessing young 30's, decent body) who was very interested in trying her 1st laowai. there was 1 other girl there, and a mommy. she offered a massage, but i said i want to 'make love'. she said ok. we had agreed to 150 rmb at my hotel for 1 hour. then, she suggested (again) we just do it 'upstairs' at this crappy place she calls home. i figured using taxi (both ways) was gunna be 20 rmb, and decided it might just be quicker to do her right here. we agreed to 120 rmb (100 for her. 20 for mommy) , and went upstairs. there were 4 cheap massage tables in a small room, we walked past then and into a small 4ft x 6ft room, where we did the deed (took about 20 minutes?). it was just a quickie boink. no bj, no kissing (i would not want it with her) , she just tickle me to get me ready, then rode cowgirl. overall, i don't recommend this place, but it is probably the cheapest a laowai like me ever had (and these are year 2011 rmb inflation!)!

later that night i met up with our brother banana888 who was in the area. i want to thank him for spending time showing me around. it was already getting a bit late in this sleepy town (about 10:30pm). we went to crocodile island ("e yu dao".10 minutes away) , where there used to be a club where the working girls walk along a catwalk showing their stuff, and you can pick out who you want. problem was this place was either not open, or permanantly closed down. there are about 4 other ktv here ("number 8 apartment") but we didn't take a room. and there is 1 disco (pure disco?) here, but it did not look busy. we left.

we then drove to look at a few other decent sized ktvs along the highway, but by now it was almost 24:00, and figured most of the cute girls would've been taken by then, but it was still ok to at least walk into the ktvs and get a peek at them. he said there was also a bit of a crackdown going on, so the places were not as full as usual (and again, with cnyear ending with lantern day, it was not a good night to find a lot of people going out). a couple of these ktvs actually have buildings next door where you can take the ktv girls there and boink them on the premesis since these places are out along the highway.

b888 then got word about a ktv 1/2 way between jingan and zhongshan, where the sitting fee is only 100 rmb. it's about a 20 minute drive from jingan to get there. but then we also got word that it was late at night and we would likely not get any cute girls if we went there. i don't know the rest of the pricing (1?) , but 100 sitting fee seems cheap, and maybe it highly encourages the girls to take short / long time with customers?

we went back to the main street of jingan, and went to what i call the "blue diamond" ktv (it's the one with the big blue led diamond). it's a ktv, but also had a common sitting area / room with some girls putting on a small show. there were tables where you could stand, and there we sofas where you could sit. the fee for getting a you-shape sofa / sitting area was 300 rmb, but i think b888 got the waitress to give us the sofa sitting area for free. one of the young managers (?) spoke pretty good english and was cute. later. 3 other girls came along to sit with us, playing the dice game. 1 of them was already really drunk. after sometime, the girl sitting next to me asked if i was going to keep her (agree to pay 200 sitting fee). i said i would, but then she said she wanted me to also pay for 2 other friends sitting fee as well. i told her i wanted only to pay hers (b888 wasn't going to take a girl, didn't want to pay a sitting fee for any girl). finally i told the girls they should leave, because i was only going to pay 1 girls fee; not 3. they left.

we then went to "o2 bar" (i wrote about this place before). upstairs are local / small ktv rooms (no line up of girls at this kind of place). we hung out there for a while. drinking.

then, immediately next door to o2 bar (when you leave o2, turn to your right and walk about 15 feet to the big red "welcome" mat. went into this place, to the lift, up to 4th floor and there was a sauna. it was already 1:30am, but they gave me a lineup of about 8-10 girls. i picked a 22yo hunan girl who was a little chubby, very nice tits, and butt dimples. the cost here is 368 rmb for 90 minutes. in the room there was the table wash / shower, bbbj, ice bbbj (no fire!). menu was pretty simple (not a list of 30 different activities; just simple things). overall, the girl was average, and as usual in a place like this i was her 1st laowai. i was done about 3am, and walked back to my hotel.

overall, i want to thank brother b888 for taking time to show me around this sleepy little township! and, i think if / when i come here again, maybe trying out the 100 rmb ktv 20 minutes from here might be interesting to explore sometime.

I spent a couple of days in Zhuhai recently. Can confirm that LHL is still dead, and definately agree that it's a 'forever' change.

ChangAn sauna and some others were open for business though, so it will basically be a sauna town.

Also to know, there seem to be 2 groups of papa / mommies running a couple of BBS a few blocks away from LHL. 1 group hangs out between the YueHai / GuangdongRegency Hotel and the HuaYu Chuntian / Spring Hotel. The other group hangs out just a little south of the IceCream-only McDonalds on LHL.

I did not talk to the 1st group, but followed one of the mommies for the 2nd group into the side-alleys of LHL. It was about 9pm, and she took me to 2 shops about 15 meters apart from each other. 1st shop had about 8 girls, and 2nd shop had 3 girls. Some girls were coming/going from the shop when I was bargaining with mommy, so there seems to be some kind of call-out service happening if you have the mommies number, so hard to know how many girls are actually working there.

There was one girl at Shop1 that I was interested in. Mommy wanted 300 rmb for me (laowai) to take her to my hotel. I was very clear that I wanted to take to my hotel (mommy kept offering for me to do the girl upstairs of the BBS) , and I offer 200 rmb. Mommy and I eventually agree on 250 rmb, but wants me to do the girl upstairs not at my hotel, and I tell her that for 250 I want in my hotel (I thought I'm over paying but wanted the experience from LHL BBS since it has been a while).

To sum it up, mommy would not let the girl to my hotel unless if I paid 300 rmb. But for 200 (and 250) rmb, I could've have done the girl upstairs of the BBS. Experience told me to not get myself into a dangerous situation, especially since I was alone and don't have any other guy backing me up or waiting for me downstairs in the BBS, so I refused and walked. I was hoping to get her for 200rmb at my hotel, and MAYBE willing for 250 at my hotel for this 1 girl, but I was not going to pay 300 for sure.

Next morning about 11am, I called mommy and asked her to send ANY girl (even an ugly one) to my hotel for 200 rmb, but she said she wanted 300rmb. I said "bye bye".

Also, as a note, I did see the older (late 30's) free-lancer (who has the big C-Section scar) again. Looks like she picked up another laowai and was walking to his hotel. Makes we wonder if she was possibly the FIRST and LAST streetwalker throughout the history of LHL? .

They wore uniforms which kind of looked like air stewardess ones, neither of them was a stunner but decent looking. I have walked out from better line ups but I had beer goggles on and I know I have paid more for worse. I opted for the thin girl, who was maybe a 6/10 and from Hunan.

I had to pay up front as it was midnight. The price is now 340 rmb, I was asked if I had a VIP card with which I could get a discount, I don't and I couldn't be arsed asking about one. I was also asked if I wanted to stay overnight.

There was a weird chair in the room, with elevated leg rests attached to it. Unfortunately, I never found out what goes with this chair. There was also a waterbed in the shower area, which she did a decent job on. We went through the various steps in a sauna routine, skipping the stuff I didn't want. She brought out the red rope thing which I wasn't in the mood for. The service was very good and definitely got the job done for me. If chance came by, I would repeat with her or go back and find out what that chair was all about.

Ming Hao sauna on Lover lane behind the main bus station in gonbei is a reliable place since it open back in 2007, I have been here many time never get shut down must have good connection, when I was in Zhu hai few month ago I only find this place and Changan new world are offering FS, most place is closed down or only offer veggie massage only cost is up to 328 rmb for 90 min multi shots and water bed is still avalible, but Zhu hai is getting worst and worst every time I visit.

This Zhuhai forum is dead long time. Just went through Zhuhai for 2 nights for my first stop of my one week multi-stop tour in southern China.

Good news is that all these saunas are open for business. But don't get too happy. The bad news is that the price is up, and quality, quantity, and service are nothing like before.

In 2 days, got 4 sessions from 3 saunas (CA Good world, Jin Ye, Nang Yang) , and none was good. My very first session from the Jin Ye was disaster, the girl did not give me BJ because she had a huge canker sore) All the line ups are very small. I checked Chang An Good World, Old Chang An, Jin Ye, Jin Yu, Nang Yang, Guo Tai, the hotel with McDonald on LHL, and 2 others that I don't know the name. I visited these saunas all in prime time, between 2pm to 7pm, and all had only one lineup of 4-8 girls. And none was pretty, and all seemed little old, some were obviously over 30. I proceeded with 4 sessions in 2 days, even I did not like any of them because I was hoping these unattractive girls to give me good service. But again service was quick and worn out type.

Price also up, the 2 hundred something sauna no longer existed Gonbei, average price about 400, but with the terrible quality, I don't think it's worth it now. The business still quite good, with many Macau guys coming over a quick session.

About LHL, I only saw a few older unattractive ladies hanging out near CA Good World and Guang Dong Regency later at night. There are no little young cuties hanging on the street now. But the whole LHL is infested with pimps. The raised their price now, they quote 300, but will go down to 200-250 if you bargain. There are 2 options, you can follow them into the alleys to view these girls or they will bring 1 or 2 for you to view in your room.

I used a pimp on my second night, because I got no satisfaction from these saunas. This old mama called 2 girls for me to see in my room, one was slender but not cute, decided to try this one. 250 yuan, would not accept 200. Young but no service at all, like most bbs girls.

At first I planned to stay in Zhuhai for 4 nights, I cut it short to 2 nights. And decided to venture to Xian Chuan island (my second trip) for a change.

I got info on some previous post that there are direct buses from Gonbei to the ferry port to Xia Chuan. The bus station is right next to the border immigration, if you face Zhuhai with immigartion building on your back, it is on the right side. It is called Shin Her bus company.

They have bus direct to ferry port, which is called San Juei pier. Have quite a few buses a day. I took the early morning bus, ticket 70 yuan. They use express way, and in 2 hours we get to the pier, then buy a ferry ticket. 40 yuan, and another short ferry 30 min.

Then after arriving the island, take the shuttle bus 10 yuan to the beach, it is called Wang Fu Jin recreational area, have to pay another 40 to enter the area.

There are tons of hotels in the Wang Fu Jin area, and on the main street in town area, there are tons of bbs shops. The mamas here are very very aggressive, will pull your arm so hard to get you in their shops, and sometimes won't let you leave.

The price here is very standard 200 ST, and 400 LT, I tried I think 6 girls in 2 days.

The girls here are mostly young and quite country folks type they way they dress and make ups, and very hard to find one that will give you full service, mostly open leg and lets go, I did not do any LT, because cannot find any one in 6 that I like to keep that long. Only 1 out of 6 gave me BBBJ but with another extra 100 price tag. Others simply to lazy to move.

The beach is quite nice with a nice pedestrian walk, the down side is the food, the whole area only have these sea food dish type, if you go alone, it's hard to order, I just order some fried rice with a vegetable most of the time. All these restaurants looked quite dirty. So I tried not to eat crab, shrimps, oyster these type of sea food that can give you food poisoning. Very few tourists now so food may not be too fresh.

I think this monger scene is mostly catered to Taiwan guys, they are mostly in group monger tours. But in 2 days there also saw some HK, Macau, Malaysian. 2 French guys (can speak good Chinese) .1 very old Aussie from Beijing who can speak perfect Chinese. This place absolutely does not understand any English, so at least basic level of Chinese is required if you go.

About the hotels, in the main area, there are lots of hotels, price quite cheap, I stayed in 2 hotels, price 120-150 range, go walk around and view the rooms before you decided, most beds are hard as rocks here, there are some new resorts outside the main area, I heard have soft beds, but its really far walk from the main bbs area. That's problem for me, because I cannot sleep on these hard beds, and the newer hotels are at outskirts of the town area, after 2 days of lacking sleep I left. I was planning to stay a bit longer.

This Xia Chuan island is closest you get to Rio or Pattaya in China, with a nice beach and with plenty of unsophisticated gals at cheap prices. But the lack of food choice and lack of clean food and also all the hard beds, may drive some people away from coming back. But still it is nice get away if they can improve the basic tourist facilities. The lady quality is mediocre and service is overall bad, but they are all quite friendly, the only good thing about these girls. And the whole place is actually quite friendly, except some over aggressive mamas.

Would I go back there for my 3rd trip, maybe after a long while, after I forget about all these cons about this place. Okay, bye bye Xia Chuan, my next stop and final stop CP.

It is too easy to say,"this sucks, go to ChangPing!". But fact is that we all need to go out and explore / discover new places. The more we know about the places in / nearto Zhuhai, the better the information. Not everyone wants to go to DisneyLand / CP. Some of us want to find the farm girls, or want to experience places that are unique / different.

I think RCA's post about XCDao was very helpful. If you look back in archieves, as recent as 8 years ago, these 2 islands were rumored to be sex monger heavens with little-to-no information about them. We know more. Judge for yourself it they are worthwhile.

In the past we also heard about the hotel in Shuiwan (?) township, north of Zhuhai, with girls roaming the hotel to gain a fun time with hotel vistors. And, I have posted about some actions in Doumen (and Crocodile Island in Doumen) for travellers to know about what is available.

Summary from me is this. We can all go to CP / Disneyland and ride the same Matterhorn, or sometimes we can seek out the unique experience with sometimes (?) a more genuine girls (like I had in DanShui. East of Dongguan / CP).

I encourage everyone to keep posting. You never know when the someone posts about the next great Suana township, or Disco township, etc.

I don't know my way around Zhuhai, but quick report since I am here for a few weeks.

I am staying near the ferry terminal. Walking around I came across a sauna on Nanwan South Road. If you had exited the ferry building it would be on the other side of the street and about 100 meters to the right. Last large building before construction site. It may also be a hotel, but there are no english signs around here.

I was just on a Sunday afternoon stroll and just entered to see what is the building. (also has a KTV on the side). Was meet by some sauna boys. I said yes to sauna, and was lead to the 3rd floor. Price quoted as 368rmb.

Into a room with shower. 6 girl line up brought in. I think one must of been a joke for the laowai. Fat and ugly. 2 were pretty, and the other 3 were average. If you want Fllipinas just go across the border to Macau, there are many WG and casino worker there or you can get a cheap short flight to Angeles or Manila on Cebu Pacific from Macau.

Sauna price for Zhu Hai is much higher than 5 yr ago and service and quality is way down. About 5 why ago there are so many sauna in ZH offer FS the infamous DMY have service at 238 rmb during happy hour with 2 shots for 90 min, now 368 rmb is on the high side since the govenrment closed down 80 % of the sauna in Gonbei.

That is too bad if you cannot go to Macau there are no reason for the Filipina go to ZH to work, they make alot more money in Macau top dollar so they don't need to complete with the low cost Chinese WG in ZH.

After arriving in ZH last night, and met up with a couple of KTV gfs. I decided to check out LianHua Lu so I can report on something people might be interested in knowing, since my KTV reports were kind of getting old.

First tout will run up to you and say ok ok 200. Way too many touts on lian hua hu, and these guys will follow you around if you don't already have a girl with you. i stayed at jumbo hotel last week, paid $75 us for a room with well stained carpet and peeling wall paper, never again.

had several massages at the sauna, no fun there. there is an offer to have massage in room but i think it is only a teaser, no special services offered.

I agree so I went in search of better quality and lower cost. I did find a 3 girl line-up at Guo Tai Hotel Sauna for again 400 for 90 minutes. The Manager speaks English. The girls are higher quality, the facilities are newer and high end and the service is excellent.

The street walkers are quoting 300 for ST so I am OK paying 400 for better, more predictable service.

I stayed at Zhuhai Charming Holiday Hotel last weekend. They have 2 saunas there but the menu is so extensive it is overwhelming. If anyone can provide some guidance it would be appreciated. They did have a 80 minute Prostate Maintenance package for 298, I am guessing that is the HE. I saw other types of service starting at 398 and going on up well past 2000 RMB.

I found a good veggie massage place with HE option for 198 opposite Bar 88 and up the street 2 blocks heading towards Gongbei (all info is in Chinese so no more detail is available). The girl quality is 7. I had 2 hour veggie massage with oil and back walking for 136 RMB. The room attendant pointed to the 198 package and told me in the limited English he knows "next time come", ha ha I gave him a big smile and two thumbs up.

I am working in the area for the next several weeks, maybe I will take a trip to Nanping.

The "bar street" they are talking about is the same street known as "jiu-ba jie" (bar street). It is the same street / area where you can find "Bar 88" bar and "Cohiba" bar, etc. If you go into the clubs, you can find a number of girls. Depending on your charm, some are 'for hire' and some are 'freebie'.

But, you don't walk up / down "jiu-ba jie" and hope to find girls strolling for money. It is not that easy. It used to be that easy on Lian-Hua Lu (LHL) , but it's not easy there (anymore). If you go to jiu-ba jie, you have to go into the clubs along that street, buy some drinks, and try your luck. Some girls will ignore you, some will ask for money, and some might be cheap or free.

There might be other good places in Zhuhai to go, but mostly, it is 5% of what it used to be. Action can still be found, but not as easy.

The "bar street" they are talking about is the same street known as "jiu-ba jie" (bar street). It is the same street / area where you can find "Bar 88" bar and "Cohiba" bar, etc. If you go into the clubs, you can find a number of girls. Depending on your charm, some are 'for hire' and some are 'freebie'.

But, you don't walk up / down "jiu-ba jie" and hope to find girls strolling for money. It is not that easy. It used to be that easy on Lian-Hua Lu (LHL) , but it's not easy there (anymore). This thread has died. No one go to Zhuhai anymore? I went and I can figure out why. Went there for 2 nights because was in Macao for business. I have not been into China for a few months, and since I have a multiple visa, better to use a few more times before expires.

I don't have much to add about Zhuhai. The usual sauna scene is back. But in smaller scale as compared to before, I checked out 5 saunas in Gong Bei and all the lineups were small even at peak time, from 4-10 girls, girls now tend to be a bit older to my observation, price 400-500. Had 2 very ordinary sessions from 2 saunas, and just too plain to remember anything.

The sauna you used to go to, Chang An Good World, is closed, as are most of the saunas in Zhuhai. Judging by some of the Chinese sites, there are a handful open but I think you have to be in the know. The last few days I have noticed the shutters to Old Chang An open again after months being down, not sure if this is a sign of being back in business though.

The last few days in Zhuhai there seems to be a general clean up going on; LE moving hawkers and such. Add this to the whole CNY thing and things don't look good.

Visited Zhuhai some weeks ago.

She wanted to stay all night, I just wanted her out, so the 2.5 hr means nothing really.

Like I said, she was still available for 400 (negociable) ST, so I don't think my action will spoil the market in Zhuhai. I would spend more for a far better experience anytime of the day. 1500 is nothing compared to what I normally had to spend to get a KTV girl out for similar kind of GFE.

Just went to Zhuhai 3/15 to 3/18. And the action is dead there. Lian hua lu had no working girls and there's a police officer stationed on every block. All saunas are shut down. You can still find pimps in hotel parking lots but it's 300-500 rmb a pop and there's no overnight. 1000 for 4 hours is the overnight rate.

Some has mentioned about the possible emergence of Zhuhai as the mongering destination to replace Chang Ping's recent demise, but IMHO, this is not likely to happen.

One must not forget that Zhuhai used to be the sauna center of Southern China with all sorts of facilities and price levels. And the scene there is now still a pitiful shadow of its former glory.

The same with the KTV scene. Prior to the big bust of the 400 odd Japanese partying / orgying in 2003, and of course the same with the famous walking ladies of LinHuaLu, then, literally numbering in the hundreds of them at any time of the day and night, parading their wares. And long before Chang Ping gained its notoriety as the Sex capital of Southern China, Zhuhai had already a well-entrenched and solid reputation for offering everything that a great mongering destination should offer.

In fact, I'd think that Chang Ping is probably going to take a copy book from all that Zhuhai has gone through the past decade which has turned it into the "Garden City" that it has transformed itself into nowadays. The only problem is of course that Chang Ping does NOT have all the fabulous natural scenery, the good clean air and having Macau as its hinterland.

Zhuhai has been able to capitalize on the fact that Macau is only a convenient walk over the Gongbei border to offer much cheaper accommodations, food and shopping as an alternative to the high Macau prices. Chang Ping is a dump too far away to attract any "regular" visitors.

But yeah, the decade long transformation of Zhuhai had not been an easy exercise for anybody, and I would think that the powers-that-be are not going to let such gains achieved to go down the drain by allowing Zhuhai to revert back to its former bad ways.

Recent visit to the umbrella stands did not yield any familiar faces sitting along with screaming bunny-ear Beer Girls . However LHL street gals parade went on unchecked by LE. Lots of cute dressed gals giving out phone numbers just South of the stands. ,,, "lets play" they say. Coming from Hunan ,GuangXi , Dongbei It's their game. There are no hotel raid in Zhu Hai just many crack down on bbs and KTV many is closed down early this yr, The only hotel raid that I know is in CP and Donnguan where central Government is offering reward for the arrest on drug and Prositiution.

Free shuttle every hour from Gongbei Eastside near Macau crossing. Best time to visit after dark , see the water fountains and light displays akin to Macau.

SW on LHL are magnet to older looking tourists types, Asian males especially those walking alone. Leggy high heels and thick makeup seems to be their trademark , starting late afternoons. YMMV, every time.

And yes, what a place Zhuhai used to be. I remember JohnnyK taking me to a great one-dragon place near his office for an "afternoon special" at RMB 248 for all the bells and jingles with a great looking technician. Sigh.

But Zhuhai is probably experiencing a bit of a come-back these days. Anecdotally, I hear and read about more mongers opting to go there in place of Chang Ping, Chang An etc just because comparatively, things are a bit more liberal there.

But I got to wonder why anyone would still want to monger in Southern China when other SE Asian destinations provide way better in terms of quality, quantity and most importantly, safety. I hear about guys who would even agree to go to KTV's in Zhuhai, knowing full well that their festivities need to wind down by 9 PM as the place will shut by 9:30! Or horny punters going to all sorts of trouble to go to over-priced sauna sessions whilst worrying constantly about being raided.

Sadly, I think that the whole of Southern China as we used to know it is now just a fond memory and the chances of it ever regaining ts "former glory" is probably slim to none; at least not for the next few years.

LHL SWs. The days of 30 or so hot girls openly parading up down that street from midday till 5 am are gone. Never coming back. The entire set up. Pimps, lookouts, LE & girls, disappeared about 3 years ago. Any reports of "LHL coming back" since that time are exaggerations at best. Yes, there have been and are sporadic times when a handful of SWs will appear but it's always temporary.

Heading towards GuangDong Hotel, Chang An Good World hotel, there used to be action. Again, sometimes you may sight one or two or be handed a card but that area turns into a street market in the evenings now.

The umbrella bars. There are only a handful left now, about 25% of what it once was. They survive to do one thing only, sell you alcohol for as much RMB as they can. 90% of the alcohol is now fake and you tend to pay for more bottles than you really got. The two bars where the girls don bunny ears are run by a few Taiwanese; these "warrens" are clinical in how they operate. No action here, only the illusion that you may get lucky.

Getting anything from the bar girls, historically or now, I only know a few that have. As SEAJ pointed out, I have been with a few but that was due to time, money and my good looks! As succinctly described by my long time LHL drinking buddy. The bar girls are professional flirts. I personally can't see those bars being there much longer.

If I may ask, when you were with the non-pros you were with, if you really had a truly loving relationship with them, then how "loving" is it to raise their expectations, then dump them and move on?

It could be that mongering is more compassionate than what you're doing, because it doesn't involve playing that game with the girls and their feelings. We've exchanged PM's years ago, and I PM'ed you in response to the above, and you didn't respond. But the answers are probably obvious to most mongers. Oftentimes, it just finds you. Otherwise, ask the taxi drivers, the ones who drive at night (just ask casually, don't let them take you to a venue, otherwise they'll take you to where they get the biggest commission). This method may be fast, but I don't do it because I'd wind up at a hotel sauna or a KTV, which are not my favorite venues. Another way is to look for massage places that stay open past midnight. Okay, after many years of inactivity I have spent the last 18 months in Zhuhai and live here permanently. Blame some previous relationships, long term ones, etc.

I noticed the Zhuhai thread is constantly hanging on a thread and want to do my best to revive a dead thread.

However, there is pretty much zero action going on at the moment other than the usual Lian Hua Lu activity (which I actually noticed has upped the ante recently, more and more girls prowling around).

One of my relatives here has a shop on Lian Hua Lu, and I knew many of the pimps on the street beforehand, and was told recently by one, that most of the previous pimps were arrested and fined. The Dongguan incident from last year has really killed the action in Guangdong.

I had a couple of contacts of chicks who were based in Tanzhou (a small town in neighbouring Zhongshan approximately 20 minutes from Gongbei port) who used to work in the various KTV establishments prior to the crackdown, who are now freelancing to previous customers.

If your looking for a handjob, that's still on the cards, 4 places I know that this can be found in. 2 are clear about it, 2 aren't. By clear I mean there is no need to talk to anyone about extra services, its pretty much assumed from the moment you go in.

Clear place 1.

2nd Floor Massage (238 rmb for regulars apparently and 268 for non regulars).

This place is very close to the Yuan Ming palace and is situated in Nanpu, which is 5-10 minutes from Gongbei port. There are basically two tiers of massage here and two different line ups exist for different services. Based on your postings, you seem to be quite credible on the board, so it would be remiss of me not to at least reply. If indeed FE48 has visited China and people have proof of this, then an apology is in order. When I say "here" I mean ISG, for clarity.

Though the posting you pointed me to from OAH hasn't exactly put this matter to rest. In fact, the situation actually matches FE48 behaviour - like not turning up to pre-arranged meetings. Which was the case in Indonesia, in a situation involving people I have met personally. And this attempt at meeting wasn't isolated, but a more determined attempt at meeting (or even conversing) after a number of failed attempts. Hence the reputation.

I will drop OAH a quick PM, but to be honest it isn't worth being drawn into this, apart from pointing out this guy who basically seems to waste time and attack people on the forum, and appears to be not much better in real life based on the OAH posting. Based on FE48 writing here, he is either a genius in maintaining different writing styles on here and in professional life, or he is is involved in trade which in no way involves writing anything to anyone. Anyway my main purpose of visiting Zhuhai is to see a friend, and I want to relax at the seaside. Is it worth getting a hotel in the LHL area or is it just a waste of time?

I am in Zhuhai now. Wednesday night, 9 PM. Went to LHL. No SWs on the walking part. The block past the end of walking only there were about 20 girls, 10 or so on each side of the road. Mostly girls in their 20's, but none that hot. Saw one I liked, I asked how much and she open with 500 rmb, I countered with 300 rmb and she said no. If I was in Shanghai I would have no problem paying 500 for a girl like her, but thought its to much for a Zhuhai SW.

So I continued on. At the end of the block an older (mids 30's+) SW opened with 300 rmb, but she looked to old for my taste. Went back to see if I could find the earlier girl but she was gone.

Was out on the evening of the 17th, about 10 PM. Walked LHL East from the port. First block. Nada. Second block. A dozen PYTs handing out cards with numbers. Third block, at least a dozen more options. PYTs and others. I found what I wanted, a petite Sichuan lady. Few quick words (very limited English for her. On average 100-200 hostesses available daily.

No more Category 300 hostesses already. Category 400 hostesses also very few available. Mostly Category 500 and 600 hostesses these days.

There are plenty of venues available, they're operating somewhat under the radar although not that much either. Some KTVs still have action (bar street, not cheap), a few brothels too (500 RMB typically) and funnily enough, close to shopping malls. Also freelancers.

The easiest way to find them is Momo, post something in your moments around 8:00 pm and swipe profiles. The ones with slightly sexier pictures are usually the ones providing some kind of service. They won't discuss details on Wechat but you'll get an idea of the kind of place. Some freelancers will only operate on QQ so make sure you have both Wechat and QQ working. Wechat look around is usually not productive although some students might freelance there, lots of students in Zhuhai.

If you don't have a China SIM, you can also just stoll around Gongbei North of the high speed rail station, or on LHL where it stops being pedestrian, some massage place with all services. Freelancers 4-500 incall (pretty to stunner), don't know about the other places.

Forget the business card services unless you don't care about looks or service quality.

There were still some 15-20 minute quickies in a neighborhood in slightly northern part of zhuhai for about 100 yuan (for Chinese) (I look like I belong on the cover of a male modeling magazine, and 200 was quoted to Me as the non-Chinese price. Yeah. Many Chinese are scammer scumbags), but there was an anti-non-Chinese attitude and a fat hog wannabe pimp walking around the alleys acting like a shithead. Was too weird there and one woman wouldn't do BBBJ, so I kept My money instead of giving in to crappy Chinese scammers.

You don't need an apartment to get ass in Hong Kong. Just take the ferry for the day. If you want to splurge cross the border and go to Macau. Lots of places.

I can't confirm the bad attitude towards non Chinese, I've experienced rather the opposite, not only with WG but also with older men and women in bars, they're usually curious and friendly if somewhat sticky, want to buy me drinks and gift me packs of cigarettes. Maybe it's because I'm older with limited Chinese, but I'm polite and friendly, no tattoos.

There are many opportunities for action, but I would follow StinkyFeet's advice and head to HKG or Macau, mongering is risky business for foreigners in China. You can also catch a flight to Philly from Macau for under $80 return. Or try dating apps, they work, plenty of ONS available.
