With respect to the Amazon and Iquitos, the advice about being careful not to get drugged is not to be ignored. When I was in the Venezuelan Amazon (Puerto Ayachucho) on the Orinoco River I ran into some young girls that tried to drug me. What happen was that I invited these girls to my hotel to share a bottle of champagne. We were in the courtyard drinking together when the night receptionist called me to the front desk. He didn't really tell me anything and there was no reason for him to call me away from the courtyard. Very suspicious. When I went back and continued with the girls, I was afraid to continue drinking for fear of them having put something in the drink when I was away. I only had a few sips more, but that was enough. Later on that night and the next day I got nauseous. Lesson learned. Don't trust anyone, not the hotel employees (who in this case lured me away while my drink was being drugged) and certainly not the young sluts! Even though they are very young they are still very dangerous.

By the way, they weren't hookers and never asked me for money. I did f**k both of them and never gave either of them a centavo. More on this later.

Nibs,

I finally made to Iquitos. Hereīs the story. The *****s are cheaper and better in Lima. If you need a **** here, visit Agresivas Night Club on Tacna 173. I went here with three friends (two guys and a chick). The dancers give everyone a little lap dance after they dance. The girl we brought with us was from Ireland and this was here first time in a strip club. She was lots of fun. A similar club is Emmanuels a couple of blocks away. Also check out the Tropical where some gorgeous girls are stripping. The girls want 150 to 200 soles, but you can get their phone numbers and avoid the Salida (bar fine) of 50 soles. Also check out El Farolito, the Ricon de Lucy, and Las Divas. There are suspose to be four *****houses (Chongas) near the airport. I went but they were all closed. Seemed like a dangerous place to go at night. I would recommend avoiding it. There are a few young sluts in the Plaza de Armas, but avoid the Transvestites if you arenīt into it. One last word of advise. Make sure your **** has her ID card or they might not let her into your hotel.

here's the story of iquitos --

it's paradise for the single male gringo looking for a little latina action. just unbelievable. the women here are similar to dominican women in that the society here is matrilineal (to use the anthropologists' terminology). that is, the women run the households here and are very open sexually. i actually had to turn down women who openly asked me to bring them back to my hotel - and they weren't hookers. i did some groundwork before arriving and met a few iquiteņas on the internet. much to my surprise they were more beautiful than their photos and ended up in my bed before i knew what was happening. the places to frequent are the malecon and plaza de armas. check out nila's yellow rose of texas and tell gerald "hi" from dan the scientist from california. gerald will help you out with tours etc. next door there is a british pub and tell sweet margarita you are a friend of danny's. i spent an afternoon with margarita on her day off last saturday touring the amazon river with a speed boat. we went swimming, and margarita wasn't shy about skinny dipping when she forgot her swimsuit. the best place for peruvian food is the hausai close to the plaza. for exotic food, visit el meson. try the "lagarto" (crocodile) there, it's the best in town. write me at
[email address deleted by admin] if i can provide you with any other info such as hotel, etc. you will love the women of iquitos.

Hi Subaculture,

To answer your questions, there really are only a few pros working the Malecon and Plaza de Armas. Nothing really outstanding, but they were young. They were asking for 50 soles, but could be bargained down to 30 (10 soles for the hotel included). So, that's 20 soles, about $5.70. But you missed my point, that in reality just about all the women of Iquitos are available and you don't have to pay them. They are extremely promiscuous and sexually aggresive. They will be the ones asking you to go back to your hotel! Even the strippers in the clubs are free of charge if you wait until after closing-time.

Good luck,

octatron,

excellent question. yes, to get around the amazon you will need to take a boat. there are "rapidos" (speed boats) and "botes" or "lanchas" (slow-moving boats). in iquitos you will be lied to when you try to get information about boats. they won't tell you about the commercial services available with "rapidos" and will tell you that you have to rent one and buy all the fuel. i was told it would cost $1000 to go to pevas. this is bullshit, as pevas is just a couple of hours away by speed boat. with respect to manaus, there are no direct boats to manaus. you will have to go to the brazilian border first. rapidos to the border take 8-10 hours and cost $50. they leave from embarcadero el huequito at 5:00 am. regular boats (lanchas) take 4-5 days and cost 15 - 30 dollars, depending upon if you want a cabin or just a hammock. from the border you can get a boat to manaus. from the moment you arrive in iquitos you will be hounded to death by agents trying to sell you tours. tell them all to fuck-off. remember that they are only interested in the 30% commision they will get.

Hey Nibu, did you make it back to Lima in time for Xmas? I wish you luck in bringing your girl back to the US. Remember your kid will be an american citizen even if he is born in Peru. Good luck with your new family, especially your sister-in-laws who seem to gossip a bit. I did tell them you are "loco bueno." But this really isn't news. I'm sure that anyone who meets you would say the same thing. You are crazy, but in a good way.

To answer your questions on Iquitos, Nila's Yellow Rose of Texas is a bar and sidewalk cafe next door to the famous "Iron House (built by Eiffel)." A lot of american ex-patriots hang out there. The owner is an american who is married to a peruvian (Nila). I was invited to Thanksgiving Dinner there and met a lot of americans who have lived there for many years. The day before, I met a nice peruvian girl there, talked to her for 5 minutes and invited her to my hotel. She said yes, and I had her in my bed within 15 minutes after meeting her!

With respect to Papa Piraņas, I went there on a Thursday night and it was completely dead. Only four people were dancing (all employees). Papa Piraņas is a big modern disco, but Iquitos just has too many discos that are more popular. For peruvian bands, check out Agricolabank. I went on a Saturday night and thousands of peruvians were there. Girls there were propositioning me to take them back to my hotel. But be careful; I caught pickpockets with their hands in my pockets right after I paid to enter.

Nibs, I went to the four Chongos near the airport on a Wednesday night. All were closed and the neighborhood seemed really dangerous. Check them out for us on the Saturday night when you are there and let us know how they are. Don't waste your time with Papa Piraņas, it's not popular anymore. There are newer, more popular discos. There was a giant new disco being built when I was there.

So, take care my crazy good friend, and be careful not to let your in-laws jerk you around too much. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Next time you make it to Monterey, California, you'll have a place to stay and I can be the "tour guide" this time (but I have to admit the chica action here is nothing like Peru).

DanDaMan,

Just read your reports and they are very interesting. My wife is a peruana, from Lima. Both her and her family are always talking about the women of Iquitos, and how hot they are. She is hip to my mongering trips ( I leave for Bangkok on 2/14) and she knows what will happen if I go to Iquitos, but I still have her permission to go!! I always deny doing anything but she just laughs at that. Still, I hesitate to be so blatant about the hobby, such as going to Iquitos. Very few women feel THAT secure.
Her cousin, who is from northern Peru, is pushing me to go in April. Think you might be going around that time?
Another question: why are there so few posts on Iquitos on the Forum? Is it because it is so remote?

Iquitos is very remote. I would not say that it is isolated because it does get a lot of tourists. It is the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon and there are a lot of ecotourism-type lodges within a few hours' boat ride so people fly into Iquitos. You can't get there by land transportation (other than walking!). I was there in 2000 but just in and out on my way to the Explorama Lodge (so did not monger, unfortunately). It is hot as fuck there (I was there in late Feb. or early March) and you need malaria protection, yellow fever shots, and mosquito protection (although I have seen worse mosquitos a few other places).

For a good historical and sociological overview, read "La Doctora" by Linnea Smith, a doctor from Wisconsin who set up a medical clinic down there (not in Iquitos but a few hours by boat near the Explorama). I had the pleasure to meet her while I was down there.

Hi Poturu and dandaman!!
I can answer both!!

Poturu....if you want to contact with iquiteņas, a good web is www.cybercupido.com, free and with thousands of girls (specially from Colombia and Peru)...if you want iquiteņas, put it in the searching and you will have maybe 300 contacts of any age!

Dandaman....I'm sorry, actually I dont know exactly my holiday days, so I will know in the future, but I would like to share hunting cholitas with you!! Yo are also a cholitas lover, so whe have more things and common!
Where do you have had more success hunting cholitas? any special city?
Its easy to find a cholita girlfriend in Peru, eastern men attract them a lot! But I had a problem of choosing! :)
When Ill return to Peru, Ill try to go to Iquitos or a near city searching charapitas. People talked about them, and said that are horny but very jealous!!
Last day, I found a site of a charapita pro....uau!! incredible and beatiful girl!! Look at it....www.equis.ya.com/karlitax....if all the charapitas are like her, ill have a lot of job!!

I received the following email and thought the group might be interested:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi my friend,

I will go to Iquitos in July and I'd like to know if this town
is dangerous I will stay alone in Iquitos.

Thanks,

Giorgio

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Giorgio,

My impression is that there is surprisingly very little violence in Iquitos. This is what I observed and was told by the people there. Even the thieves do not typically employ strong-arm tactics and pick-pockets are the norm rather than violence. Groups of people in Iquitos have been known to chase and help aprehend thieves even though they were not victims but observers. This is in stark contrast to Lima and to a lesser degree in Cuzco where tourists are often victims of violent crime.

Personally, I think the men in Iquitos have all been fucked to death by all the horny women there, and hence the lack of crime ;)

Have fun in Iquitos, il mio paisan'.

In reply to Poturu:

Here's a list of the 3 better sites where you can meet women prior to heading out to South America --> (1) amigos.com, (2) friendfinder.com, and (3) cybercupido.com - in that order.

Out of the three, you'll probably find the best variety from amigos.com. In order to really be able to contact these women freely and efficiently, it will serve you best to simply pay the $20-30/3month membership. If you're interested in some true GFEs, I would recommend these sites, but a lot of these women seem to be wary in weeding out whether or not you are sincere. Also, the better women seem to have been bombarded by guys writing them with posts akin to (ie.): "Hi I'm an American man who would like to buy your marriage for 2 years by giving you citizenship in the US ... you will be mine to do whatever I please for these 2 years" ... and have mentioned to me that they are relatively leery of people posting to them. Just my opinion, but these men seem to be giving those ladies rather reasonable deals ...!

All in all, these sites are worth a look if you are willing to invest some time. Also, chatting with them on yahoo and msn can give you some more insight into their lives and what to do/see in Peru. However, (from what I've read) if you're looking for pure action without any strings attached, I have a feeling that you'll prefer playing your hand the bars/parlors/chongos ... and also by meeting girls without internet skills.

Hi puturu!!
Cybercupido.com its easy to manage, and most of the girls arent looking for a long term or marriage like the other sites (amigos.com specially), so, they arent looking for a rich stranger, and a lot have only a great curiosity to know foreign guys. Other great point, there are hundreds of young chicas who only wanna have some fun.

For Iquitos problem..follow these instruccions:
When you become a member of the site (free), check "Buscar por criterio", and when you have fill the type of girld, and age, put it "Iquitos" in "Ciudad" and the try Peru.
Last day one of Iquitos teen (17 years), answered me. Ill begin to manage her for my future trip :)

Good luck

Asuat,

Sorry to hear you had a bad time in Iquitos. I'm not sure exactly why you had a hard time, but would like to offer advise to others to prevent any other disappointments.

If you read some of my earlier posts, you will see that I said, "The *****s are cheaper and better in Lima." Iquitos is a place for amateur action. I prepared for my trip to Iquitos by meeting some Iquiteņas on the internet. Believe me, I wasn't bored in Iquitos, I didn't have enough time to meet all the cuties I had met via the web.

Iquitos is somewhat unique in that there is a relatively large colony of American expats living there. Most hang out at the Yellow Rose of Texas. I spent Thanksgiving there and was invited to Thanksgiving dinner and met a lot of interesting folks there.

Asuat, I would guess from the way you write that you aren't a native speaker of english or an American. I'm not sure, but perhaps this limited your contact with the expats there. In addition, perhaps your spanish-speaking abilities are limited, again limiting your interactions with the locals.

In my experience, Iquitos seemed to be a paradise for sex. I met one Norwegian who had been living there for quite some time and was actually complaining about how promiscuous the women were there. He seemed to be worried about AIDS after having sexual relations with hundreds of Iquiteņas. We went to Agricolabank (an outdoor concert and dance place) together; we were both quickly seduced and taken away by willing Iquiteņas.

Asuat, since you were there for a considerable time, did you have a chance to travel to the Jungle and meet the indigenous peoples there? To me, this is the big attraction of Iquitos - the indigenous people and cultures of the Amazon are really facinating. Did you have a chance to meet the Bora or Yagua Indians?

Asuat, if you could shed some more light on why things went bad for you in Iquitos, this might help out future visitors. Iquitos is a long way to go for disappointment.

Thanks,

Dan

Iquitos has a decent, if a little over-priced, small scene. True to the reports below, the girls here really do seem to be much more out-front with their feelings and attractions. Very cool.

The SW scene is small and lame. A few girls can be found around Plaza de Armas starting around 10:30-11. More can be found along the river-walk promenade (look at a map to find this), and a few more up the left-side street of Plaza de Armas with the river to your back.

50 soles seems to be the standard asking price. The "girls" (old) are not good looking, and seem a little battle-weary. Watch for very well camouflaged (sp?) trannys.

All of the 4-or-so clubs near the plaza operate on the same principal (more or less). 20 soles to get in (this includes a free pitcher of beer), 50 soles bar-fine if you exit with a girl, 70 soles for a room there (unbelievable!), and about 100 soles for sex with the girl (paid to her in the room). Negotiate the sex-price, please.

I like Bananas the best. It's about 8-10 blocks up the left-side street of P. de Armas with the river to your back. About 10 good looking women on any given night. Some of them were solid 8s. BBBJ no problem.

Walking to Bananas, you'll pass Agresivos (on your right) after about 5 blocks. The door staff are a little grouchy here -- but I managed to get a look inside and found a lot of Peruvian men and very few Peruvian girls. There's another club around the corner (can't miss it) from here. Same situation as Agresivos.

Maybe the second-best club in town (that I found) is Africas. It's about 3-4 blocks to your right, standing on the bottom P. de Armas street with the river to your back. I went there early, but the two girls that were there were cute.

The Yellow Rose of Texas (a bar behind the Eiffel house) has a few barfly girls who'll be your date for the night, the week, a year or your life. They don't expect money per se, but they expect to be supported. I guess this is natural enough. I didn't find any of them good looking.

You'll see the disco Noa Noa (I think that's the name) on the way to Africa. Lame club, but some of the girls might be available.

Iquitos is a big enough city that I'm sure there's a low-end, bottom of the barrel club scene here somewhere (like the ones Nibu's been taking me to in Centro, Lima). If you can find someone who knows them, they're probably not worth going to (along with being potentially dangerous -- I/we almost got jacked at one in Lima the other night). Generally, though, Lima seems very safe.

Again, I don't purport to be a Peru expert. The above is just my close-to-Plaza-de-Armas experiences over about 4 days.

Happy Hunting,
JWadd

P.S. Don't stay (hotel) right on Plaza de Armas. The moto taxis are too loud (and constant thoughout the day and night) to get any sustained sleep. Try to get a block or two away. Friends stayed at Hotel Marron, and it looked nice enough for 20 USD a night (they have a pool which is nice in the afternoon heat). It's about 2 blocks away toward Africa/Noa Noa.

Iquitos here I come!

For those of you that have been following the Cusco Forum, I just completed a two month layover in Cuzco before continuing on my journey to Iquitos and Brazil.

It wasn't easy to leave Cuzco. It seemed every one of my girlfriends there wanted to give me one final farewell fuck. What's a poor boy to do? So many cholitas and only one night!

The weather in Cuzco was wonderful during my stay, but soon the torrential rainfall will start (Dec. until March) making it much less desirable. I will return in April, after the rains season.

Anyway, onwards to Iquitos and charapitas. If anyone wants to hookup, please let me know. I should be here for three weeks before departing for the Columbia-Peru-Brazil frontier on the Amazon River.

To quote a fellow monger from Wyoming I met here a few days ago, "The girls here have lived up to their reputation."

Go to a club (e.g. Noa Noa Disco) and the Iquiteņas pick up the mongers, rather than visa-versa. You guys have got to check out the hot action here in Iquitos in the Amazon Jungle!

I getting too comfortable here. I think I have the best room in town right on the Plaza de Armas with a fantastic view of the Plaza and the Amazon River. It's air-conditioned, has a fridge, cable T.V. and I can bring in girls without any extra charges. The kicker is that I am only paying $10 per night. I think the "administradora" likes me. The posted rate for this room is $40. Damn, here in Iquitos all the girls are into picking up gringos. Hotel administradoras, the girls tending bar, and even the strippers in the clubs. I love this town!

If I can help anyone out with info on Iquitos, please contact me.

Greetings from Iquitos!

Iquitos is a place where mongers come and can never leave.

Within my first week here, I was offered two jobs and inviting to spend Christmas with three different chicas. The people here are exceptionally friendly, and yes, the charapitas (jungle girls) here are incredibly easy. I can't leave; it's just monger-heaven here.

My original plan was to travel down the Amazon River from here and explore the Brazilian Amazon. I've spent the last 6 months learning Portuguese and was geared up for some brasilera-action. I didn't think anything could change my mind - not even the charapitas of Iquitos.

I was wrong. The women are so beautiful here, and so friendly that I'd be crazy not to stay. The girls don't ask for money here - maybe a drink or a meal, but they aren't looking for cash. One friend explained it to me that "Here in Iquitos fucking is like saying hello. It's just the polite thing to do."

My key to success has been my Spanish speaking ability. I learned Spanish and Portuguese by using the Pimsleur System. I have these excellent lessons (www.pimsleur.com and www.rosettastone.com) to share with fellow mongers. My Latina-chasing ability would be non-existent if it weren't for my Spanish fluency.

I've made a lot of great contacts here and I can help you get a great air-conditioned room with a refrigerator and a great view right on the Plaza de Armas for $15 - 20 (normal price $40 - 50). If you want a tour of the Amazon, I know an American that will show you the real Amazon at a discount price. Like myself, he's a biologist and he's much better qualified than the Peruvian guides that tend to take advantage of you because you are a gringo. I just got back from a jungle tour with him. He took me deep into the jungle where the beautiful naked indian girls just blew me away.

I only have one request - that you support the WSGforum. Please register and contribute to the forum. Please realize that I meet a lot of mongers and that I spend a lot of time helping them out. Unfortunately I meet some con artists and some strange dudes that take advantage of me; some expect me to help them out without reciprocating, leaving me to pick up all the tabs. Therefore, I prefer to deal with Senior Members that take care of local mongers serving as guides. If you come to Iquitos, I can guarantee you some excellent action in a safe environment.

Currently, I am living and working in Iquitos and know the action here better than just about anyone else. If anyone would like to hookup for some hobby, please contact me me via a private message using the WSG Forum's Private Message service.

Dan - Your posts are excellent and thanks for your contributions to the board. FYI to readers out there: learning the language will make your travels and chica-experiences 'that' much better. Lessons like pimsleur and rosetta may be a bit pricey, but - if you apply yourself and learn it - will be well worth it.

Hey NR

Actually I'm up for anywhere as of now. I'd like to leave around the 21st of Jan. But thats flexible too. I'd just wanna get a week or so of quality mongerin, in the near future. I read some of the posts on Iquitos. Yeah, it sounds koo too. Is that where you would recommend? Is that where your stayin now? Man, I just checked Travelocity, looks like a pain to get there. Whats the scoop? Is it worth the effort to get to Iquitos for just a 5-7 day trip? Anyway, I'm still open so I can go anywhere. I make a trip every 4-6 week for a week or two. So let me know what you think? You up for a wingman somewhere/anywhere?

Lemme know your thoughts

Thanks

I'm planning a trip later this month. I try to make a trip every couple of months for a week or so. But I haven’t decided where to go for my next trip. I usually go to Cuba, but even though the embargo hasn’t been lifted yet, Cuba is really changing fast, just not the same. So I think these days a better time could be had somewhere else. My Spanish is very good, so I’m at home in a Latin country.

Although I'd be a first timer to SA, if there are nice ppl, a nice pub or hangout, and accommodating women, I'll be at home. I like good rum, cigars and beautiful women. My personal preference is GFE. I only do the serial hit and run in a pinch or until I find someone I like hanging out with for a while. I travel to enjoy/respect the local culture.

I'm thinking about Cali, Lima, Iquitos or San Salvador. But Iquitos seems like it may be rough to get to for such a short trip. Just want to get a little quality mongering in. But based on the forum it looks like I couldn’t go wrong with any of the places. Nonetheless, I have to make a choice, so I would appreciate any suggestions of where to start my first trip to SA.

BTW, I want to thank those of you who have replied to my PM inquiries. Several ppl have really been helpful.

On the subject of learning spanish, I was able to download the entire Pimsleur Spanish course off the internet for free. Got to winmx.com and download the software for free. Search for Pimsleur and you will find courses for dozens of languages including the entire set for spanish. I was also able to download quite a bit of the portugese lessons but as this is a less commonly studied language there are less people on the net willing to share it. Also for free www.studyspanish.com.

More info on Iquitos:

Peruvians call the people from the jungle "Charapas." Charapa means tortoise. They call them charapas because they talk so slow. The Spanish here is the most beautiful and easiest to understand because they talk very slowly and distinctly. This is just the opposite of the people of Lima where they talk very fast. Therefore the diminutive "Charapita" comes from Charapa and refers to young, beautiful jungle girls which abound in Iquitos.

Previous reports have concentrated on the strip-clubs that are located in the center of town. Sure you can go to clubs like Agressivas (Av. Tacna), Emmanuel (Corner of Napo and Condamine No. 100), the Banana Bar (Putumayo No. 769), Africa (Corner of Raymondi and Pevas), and El Alfil Manosa (Urb. Srgto. Lores S-2) and have a good time. But once you learn about the charapitas here, you will discover that even the strippers here are free, provided you know how to work them. All in all, the strip-clubs are much better than in Lima. In Iquitos, the strippers give all the customers free mini-lap dances every set. There are no rules and everything short of full penetration is permitted. I went to a strip-club with an Irish girl that I met on the airplane on my way here and she experienced her first female encounters (or so she said), beginning with some lap dances. Here in Iquitos, everyone seems to let loose and you never know what pleasant surprises await you.

Sure the strip clubs are fun, but better yet, let me show you the hidden treasures that few gringos get to experience - the less visited plazas and clubs where you can score and have a unique experience away from the pros that specialize in gringos.

DEATH OF A FORUM

Recently, the world has shown little interest in the Peru section of the WSG Forum. This is unfortunate because Peru has so much to offer mongers that travel the world in search of hobby.

I am requesting that fellow mongers help me reserect interest in this Forum. Please contribute!

Lurkers, please register and post. Regular members, please post and become senior members. Senior members, please post more.

Only through a group effort can we elevate the science and art of mongering to new heights. I am doing my best to share my exploits here in the Amazon where no monger has gone before.

Now it's your turn. Please reserect this forum!

Reflections on Last Christmas, Iquitos-Style

Here in the Amazon it's hot and so is the action. The women are quite uninhibited. Consequently, the women don't wear much clothing here. But I never imagined I would see girls dressed in red bikinis for Christmas. Yes, the girls working in the gas stations here, pumping gas were dressed in red bikinis complete with Santa Claus hats.

Christmas here in the Amazon Jungle is quite surreal. I hope all of you can experience this magic place some day.

DanDaMan,

Off the subject, but in relation to your comment "But I never imagined I would see girls dressed in red bikinis for Christmas", I suggest you take a trip to Bondi Beach, Australia, or for that matter other parts of the Southern Hemisphere, not only will you see girls in bikinis for Christmas, you will see just as many topless (and very occasionally bottomless).

Cheers and thanks for your report, I'd still like to get to Iquitos and experience the magic (maybe later this year)!

Keep the yarns coming

Cheers

Hi fellas,

New monger here needing advice. A friend and I are heading to Peru early in April, and we need help deciding where to go. We only have one week and would like to either go to Cusco or Iquitos. DanDaMan has made them both sound very interesting. We mostly are interested in local girls if possible vs pros. Given our length of stay, where will we have the best luck and the most fun?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Two very different places, chicas aside. Cuzco is at very high altitude and is thus cool. Iquitos is on the banks of the Amazon and thus has extreme heat, near 100% humidity, lots of bugs, and of course yellow fever and malaria. Each is interesting in its own way. Cuzco has ancient ruins and is close to the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu. Iquitos has little of historical interest but the flora and fauna are interesting.

My vote? Cusco all the way. Plenty of places to monger in either one but the non-mongering aspects of Cusco are far superior IMHO.

imho, this city is a shit hole. sex is easily and cheaply available, but i still think visiting iquitos is a waste of time. there are tons of **** sex workers who look like 12 to 13 and up. short time sex with an adult sw should not cost more than 20 sols. j.g.

I will be traveling to Lima for the first time in early June and plan to head straight for Iquitos. If someone could tell me how much and where to buy the cheapest ticket (Lima-Peru round trip) it would be appreciated. I would also appreciate suggestions on the best places to stay in the $5-$10 dollar range, perferably in or near an area with the highest concentration of nightlife.

Me and my buddies just finished staying in Iquitos for 4 days. The best part of the stay was going to the Belen Indian market, and on the Amazon on a tour. We saw various wild animals and indians: a jaguar, boa, Anaconda and monkeys. Stayed at the Hotel Victoria Regia ($35 a nite). There are a few cheaper hotels also, Real Hotel Iquitos, Hostel Europa, and Marona hotel.

But as for the good part, we didnt see very many hookers around the Malecon and Plaza de Armas (it was Easter week) mostly trannies, but on the last day as I was along the plaza a chunky gal by the name Jessica approached me for sex. We agreed on 20 sols, so we took a moto to my hotel. She gave me alot of hassle on paying her up front, but I finally talked her into paying after the sexo. She gave me a good chupa and started tongueing my balls, which I liked, so I asked her to tongue my ass also, which she agreed to for more money (50 sols). She really did a good job and was able to get off real fast.

But after the sexo she wanted more money than 50, which made me very mad. I eventually grabbed her arm and pushed her out the room and that was it for Jessica.

Anyway weī{re in Trujillo now. Ill have to see what the action is like. We came here because of the landslides in Machu Picchu and all the rain in Cusco.

Take care gang.

Actually we{re staying Huanchaco, not Trujillo. The beach is real nice and peaceful. Haven{t found any action.
All for now.

J.G.

I have been the one year ago in Iquitos for a week and I saw three sex working only. The normal girls are very timid and it is hard to speak with them.
I had a very hard time in Iquitos in July-August.
There are many, many wonderful girls but they are untouchable. :)
This is what I saw in Iquitos.

I am planning a trip to Peru with a side journey to Iquitos. I enjoy having the girls stay toda la noche but I also enjoy having my money and valuables there in the morning when I wake up. Can anyone recommend a mid-range hotel that has room safes?

Thanks guys,

When I was in Iquitos, me and my buddies stayed at the Victoria Regia Hotel, which I think is on Calle Ricardo Palma. Its a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas.

The rate was $35 a nite, and they had safes in the room. Its a nice hotel w/pool and over- priced restaurant. The one time I brought a chica in the room the front desk didn't seem to mind at all. At least they didn't say anything.

As far as the chica ripping you off, remember to hide the safe key.

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about taking a "hobby"trip to Iquitos soon and I was hoping to get a little info. I really like cuba and was wondering how it compared to Cuba. Are you treated like a rockstar or are you just another gringo? Are the locals accesible, etc?Any info would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks,

When it comes to mongering I would take Cuba way over Iquitos.

Iquitos is a place you go to see the Amazon River and the native Indians and wild animals. I didn't see that many girls in the "business" walking around the Plaza de Armas area. There were more trannies out at night than girls!

I admit that I didn't go to any nite clubs, so I can't comment on that but we did go to one bar on the other side of Iquitos (El Refugio) and the girls looked all haggerd and uninterested.

Havana has all kinds of girls around the town. I had no problem finding "action" there and other places. You don't have to look for it.

Take care

BayBoy,

Thanks for the advice. I met a guy today at work that goes there all the time. My plan is to buy him a couple of beers one nite and hopefully get more info. He did tell me that the club action at nite is the way to go. Also that if you are going to be there for a while there is good GFE action in Iquitos, which I like with a little "roman" mixed in.

Then again, I still might end up in habana or cali next month instead. So many cities and not enough vacation time.

Thanks again,

KW Kids

Birds

My first post.

I travel mainly to watch birds (aves, not chicas) but, inspired by this forum and the fact that birdwatching is pretty limited at night, I decided to give another hobby a try, and what better place to start than Iquitos.

My first night, being a beginner, I went to a "nightclub." But the girl I ended up talking with (in a limited way as my Spanish is weak) insisted on 200 Soles plus 50 to leave and wouldn't budge, and that seemed a lot so I left.

On the way back to my hotel, two girls who seemed maybe semi-pro stopped me and only wanted 50 S. each. I told them I only wanted one but maybe they were a support group so I brought them both back, but it was more like sex with one girl with an observer and not that great.

I went for three days to one of the Amazon River lodges not expecting much opportunity, but wound up talking to the cook(female) the second night and having a bunch of beers, and we agreed to meet by the hammocks at 1AM. (She was real sensitive about getting caught). It was OK but not great. The next morning I went over to have a coffee with her in the kitchen and she asked me for some money, which I gave her.

Then a few more nights in Iquitos, birding in the morning at a road-accessable park upriver from Iquitos. The first night I ran into the prettier of the two girls from night one, and we spent some time and it was better but still not quite meeting expectations. She wanted to see me again the next night (Sunday) at 8PM which seemed a good idea as I had to get up the next morning at 4AM. I had decided already to take her to dinner first (there is a good chicken restaurant across the street from the hotel) but I was surprised when she arrived and I asked her if she wanted to get some chicken first and she says yes, can my Mom come too. (Mom had just gotten out of church) Well, why not, but I think it was just as well my Spanish was weak. But the sex wasn't getting better so I told her not to come back.

A couple days later I'm losing interest in this new hobby and having some beers in a tourist bar and talk a little with the bartender and we get along and she has some English and we agree on dinner. The subject of sex never comes up, we just walk over to the hotel after dinner and have great sex. When she sees the hotel (the Maranon) has a pool, she says she wants to go swimming first the next night. And the next night, the hotel staff actually goes out to buy her some shampoo and conditioner, and lends her a hair dryer - I guess that qualifies as chica friendly.

Our last night we went dancing first, a fine evening. I always gave her some money (which she never asked for). My worry is that I might be a little spoiled starting in Iquitos.

I stayed in El Dorado Plaza Hotel (5 stars) right on the Plaza de Armas. I had a really big room and a big bed that can fit 3 persons for $73/night.

I left that hotel after two days because they didnīt have broadband internet.

I moved 4 blocks away to the Victoria Regia hotel (3 stars).

I had a room twice as small as in the El Dorado Plaza with a really noisy airco for $30.

The noise doesnīt bother me though. They have a pretty fast internet connection in the lobby where I can plug in my laptop for free.

Itīs a pretty good hotel. Even the Porto Rican singer Eddy Herera (or how do you spell that) and his crew stayed here.

I met a USA tourist who stayed in LaCosta hotel for $15/night.

A lot of girl in Iquitos are available for free. I donīt find most of them that attractive though. A tall black Colombian 18yo with an amazing ass has been sleeping at my place at night and sucking & fucking me during my whole stay there.
I never bought her any drinks, never took her out to dinner and only paid 10 soles (less than $2) for her mototaxiīs. On my last night she asked me for 20 soles for something. It was in the middle of the night and I didnīt really pay attention to what she was saying, so I just gave her the money and she came back a few hours later.
The guy working at the desk, a couple of taxi drivers and some girls here told me that sheīs a ***** who normally charges 100 soles/hour. I donīt know why sheīs fucking me for free. She wears a necklace with a picture of her and her 40yo American (ex-)husband. She says she likes me because Iīm so crazy. She gave me a pretty nice Colombian wrist band.

Another thing, you can get a good exchange rate in casino. And almost all casinos are open 24hrs a day. In fact I have never ever seen a closed casino in Peru.

I do this: give them a $20 bill and when they ask me for how much I want to play I say 5 or 10 soles. I never tried a $50 or $100 bill though.

I play 2 minutes. Most of the time I do win a sol or two or at least get my money back. Then I go back to change the chips into soles.

For $20 they gave me 65 soles yesterday, which is a rate of 3.25. All other places give 3.21 to 3.23.

I mainly do this when I donīt need a lot of cash and/or when the gambioīs are closed.

In some supermarkets (Metro) they allow you to pay with $ and give you your change in soles with a good rate as well. I havenīt seen any Metroīs in Iquitos though, only in Lima.

There are a lot of *****s on the Plaza de Armas in Iquitos. I never asked prices and noticed that some of them are trannyīs.

In Iquitos I didnīt find any local sex ads in the papers. Thatīs a first.

There are 4 chongoīs just outside Iquitos.

You can take a mototaxi and it shouldnīt cost more than 3 soles.

When you take the big avenue to head back to the airport you will notice a big sign on your right saying "Bomberos". This is in San Juan. Turn right in this street and go on untill you pass the firemen trucks on your right. After 2 min. you will see 3 buildings next to each other. And the one in the middle has a sign that says "STAR". Entrance is free and girls ask 10-15 soles per suck and fuck. I didnīt do any of them.

They say they do anal. I saw some really nasty old fat hoes and some skinny tiny 18yo hoes as well.

If you walk out you can continue to walk a few meters to another chongo.

2 soles entrance fee. 10-15 soles per suck and fuck.

I forgot to mention I also went twice to club "Bananas".

20 soles entrance fee and it comes with a free drink.

I always asked for a can of cold mineral water. I donīt like beer.

There was no show, so I asked the door guy to have a chick up and stripping.

20 min. later a chubby chick was dancing and stripping. I didnīt like her body, but she sure knew how to move it.

When sheīs butt naked sheīll go in the public grinding her ass on some guys and you can touch and lick her boobs if you want.

You can ask as many girls as you want to come sit with you and drink.

20 soles per can of beer. Have them dance in front of you or with each other while you touch their ass. No need to dance yourself. Itīs pretty hot inside, no AC? I asked them to have the DJ play reggeaton (perreo) and I was sitting down, sipping my drink and slapping their ass while they were shaking it bend over.

They asked 250 soles per hour. Holy smokes! And they would not come down below 150 soles per hour. They werenīt even that cute.

Bye bye.

Damn, Nibu. I wished I had known before. I was in Iquitos again a few weeks ago.
I visited Belen again, but didnīt see any riverboat brothels. When are their opening hours? And what year is Micheal Palinīs report from? Iīll check on my next visit. Thx.

I didnīt go to Iquitos through Leticia. I had no time and on top of that direct Avianca flights from Bogota to Lima were cheaper then Bogota-Leticia flights. Didnīt feel like mongering in Bogota either. It was cold and I had work to do.

The black Colombian girl I boned last time is still in Iquitos. I asked the waiter of the yellow rose of Texas (24hr Texas restaurant) to give her my number when she passed by. As usual she came in at around 3AM and she called me and send me cell phone messages from 3 to 8 AM (I was sleeping). She has some issues though. Although the sex was still awesome, she just talks too much. Especially jealousy bullshit, about me hanging and fucking with other girls. After that long first night of constant bullshit, sex, no sex, jealousy,... I didnīt call her again. Funny note, she send me a message to apologize for her behavour the day after and promised it wouldnīt happen again.
However I was with family in Iquitos so I didnīt have time anymore. Two weeks later she called me and messaged me why the fuck I left her like that, she prolly thought I was still in Iquitos.

Iquitos seems to have a surprise for me every single time though. I met a 29yo chick who had been living in Paris for 8 yrs. So she wasnīt like your average loreteņa, no first date sex (second date). And damn she paid her own meals and own cabs, plus she had awesome skills. She never had kids and her body was flawless. She was the oldest girl I ever had in my life (previous was 26yo). An intelligent girl that has travelled a lot and knows what sheīs talking about. Probably one of the smartest chicks I was ever with. I truly enjoyed every minute we spend together.
Sheīs still married though and hasnīt made up her mind yet whether sheīll divorce or not. I didnīt ask any further questions.

I also checked out strip clubs Africa and another one I canīt remember the name off. Itīs supposed to be the best in Iquitos. Entrance fee comes with a free drink. Anyway, stay away. The girls are overpriced and the shows arenīt anything special either. Free girls itīs where itīs at in Iquitos.

Try open air disco Explosion or tourist disco Noa Noa (3 blocks from Plaza de Armas). Perutops reports state that some chicks at Explosion will ask for a little financial compensation (20-30 soles) after staying wiith you.

Mototaxiīs all over centrum Iquitos are 1.5 soles. Explosion one way is about 2 or 2.5 soles.

As you know, I am much more the expert on the other end of the Amazon, having been to Belem` three times and Manaus once. The jungle, the jungle, the fecund matta, the gorgeous green that stretches forever, and whatever one might find therein.

Sounds good to me.

How are the Jungle Cuties working out?

It would be good to have a report on the Chicas of Iquitos by a jungle expert like yourself.

Did you ever make it to the highway to Nauta with your motorcycle?

Please let us all know how you enjoyed your trip to the jungle.

I wrote this elsewhere for for someone leaveing for Iquitos in a couple of weeks. This is not necessarily what I intened to write for here, but as I look at it, I think that it would be helpful to others also.

If I am sometimes on the Edge, "X" is seemingly always well off the cliff face. Mr X has adventures that scare the crap out of me.

Equally important, "X" helped me greatly when I needed a quick ticket to Colombia earlier this year. He trusted me to send him a check for the ticket, which I did of course, but he had never spoken to or met me...anywhere at any time. So I am indebted to "X,"...and if he needs something now, I will do what I can to help him. Off to Iquitos???? You must be mad...lol

Essential Information:

1. You can fly Lima/Iquitos on TANS for about $75 each way. Of course, it was TANS that crashed on the Iquitos run last month. TANS is apparently owned by the Peruvian Military but many ex-pats fly TANS for the savings.

I flew LAN at the suggestion of Surfer. I was very happy with my LAN flight, but, since I ticketed only an hour before my flight, I ended up with an unrestricted ticket costing about $105, one way, $210 total. With a little planning LAN Iquitos flights can be had as cheaply as $175 round trip.

2. A MotoTaxti from the Airport to Downtown should cost 5/6Sl...8 if you feel generous, but it is a fairly long trip so don’t worry if it seems to be taking a while. (And don’t be shocked...Iquitos is a shit hole but you’ll be okay)

3. I was very happy at the Victoria Regina Hotel. Stated Rate is 175Sl per night, ($53), I offered 120sl which was immediately accepted. It was late, It was dark, I was desperate, I was tired...I think that they would accept 100sl

4. Hotel Real right down on the Malecon will give you an air-con single for as little as 24sl ($8), though there is a posted, non-bath room for 16sl...bath down the hall.

4. Hotel Europa is 66sl, ($20) but you might be able to negotiate lower. Damned if I know...but this over time came to trouble me...everything was negotiable, you never knew what anything was supposed to really cost.

5. Hotel Amazon, right across from the Plaza de Armas is okay and similarly priced.

6. I did spend a night in Hotel Anaconda...70sl...but they knew I was rich and I was tired of bargaining over .66 cents. Nice place, nice people, good breakfast on the upstairs roof, great view of the city...some working girls in the lobby, not bad looking but I was leaving by then. (No Hot Water).

7. You can call the US from El Cyber Café that is right across from the Plaza de Armas for .10cents a minute...it was fabulous in that other places were charging $1.00 per minute. I made lots of business calls and also called my brother just for the fuck of it...cost me $3.20...and I laughed.

8. Good dinner can be had at Pollon on the Plaza for 7.5sl (($2.50)...a good quarter chicken, fries, salad. The waitresses in the nicer, brighter restaurant almost next door on the corner can be had with a little work

9. I walked the city freely as late as 3am...but not Belen after dark, or even alone...you must have protection in Belen...always, really, trust me on this. I’d say especially lower Belen, along the river, but I don’t want to give you a false sense of security. Have a native friend with you if you enter Belen.

10. I never cracked the city. I was king of Lima, even with no Language Skill, but I never beat Iquitos. Maybe it was because I didn’t do any advance research. I never even was able to get a local map despite asking everywhere, I had no travel book on the area.

The touts and the begging kids and the heat and the constant negotiation for everything! Eventually wore me down.

It seemed that young pretty women were available...not for pay necessarily, but for presents and love, all along the Malecon, or river front walk in the early evening...I did not partake.

Of course, in my 5 brief days on the ground. I did get situated, I got laid 4 times, did Belen, spent a half a day on the river, (nice big, 200hp private boat, they want $100 per half day...I paid $50), and made it up towards Omaguas, but not as far as Nauta by motorcycle. I did not get down river to Mazan or Fransciso de Orellando. However, I did meet twice, and thought about sleeping with a Belgian girl, but she came back from this exact journey, really, really covered in nasty bites of some kind! Take lots of Deet with you if you make this trip.

My primary regret is that. I never got the river really knocked. I wasn’t ready for it. I was busy doing other things. My bad.

Next time!

Oh yeah, I paid Priss 100sl per night. I can afford $33 for someone that looks like her. She wanted 200sl, I just walked away, but she chased after and the deal was struck.I also paid as little as 20sl and that's about what it was worth. I think that 100sl is just about right, high, yes, but not really out of bounds for someone you really want.

With Affection,

Gauguin

hey guys,

very informative report on iquitos gauguin, and screwed up. i just booked my flight on lan airline for next weekend. $170 rt, i thought that was a reasonable price. i will be visiting for 4 days (fri-tues).

i am thinking of booking a room at the victoria regina hotel. this sounds like the better hotel of all your choices and does have high-speed internet which is a big plus for me. do any of you guys know if i can rent a motorcycle in iquitos? i was hoping to check out the city on motorcycle.

gracias!

10-16-05, 08:40
Yes, VM, you can rent motorcycles in Iquitos. I did not because I ended up too busy to try this, however, there are several places that will rent to you.
But, the bikes are brand spanking new. They are advertized in front of the shop for 30sl per hour, or about $10. I am sure that you can go lower. Ask any Moto-taxi driver and I am sure that they can take you there.

This caused me to worry a little in that the bikes looked so gorgeous, Were they theft bait? I actually carry 8 foot of chain everywhere I travel to lock up bags and what not. I could have used this on the bike, but if I was off wandering in the jungle, as is my wont, habit and desire, I would think that it would still be fairly vunerable, but maybe not.

I'm not trying to be paranoid on this, but I did want to let you know my thinking. I would suggest that you take something that would allow you to lock up a bike frame, (but also maybe the rental place gives you something), to a tree, especially if you are traveling alone, as I was. This doesn't have to be heavy gage or anything, just something to give the first level of security.
Or, those were my thoughts.

Let us know how it goes.

Best Wishes,

Gauguin

I rented motorcycles too in Iquitos. The scooter variant was about 6 sl/ hour. The big motocross one was about 30 sl, so I heard. Itīs the best way to go if you want to explore all neighbourhoods. I was with my younger cousin, so didnīt partake in picking up chicks with my moto. But next time in Iquitos I sure will.
If you rent by the day you should get a significant reduction. You can also cut costs by turning it back in when you go to sleep. The guy I was renting from told me I could wake him up at anytime if I wanted to rent.

just recently spent 4 days in iquitos, stayed at the victoria regia. nice hotel. rented a enduro motorcycle, and toured the city on bike, which was a lot of fun, only kept it for oneday. overall as far as the women in iquitos, i didn't see many good looking ones walking around. my friend spent a few days with an 18yo who was decent looking, but as far as pretty girls, i think lima is much better. i walked around malecon and plaza de armas and realized it is true that the women are definitely very aggressive. they just come right up to you, almost in competition with each other. i had a few ask me to take them back to my hotel, but they weren’t my type. i took a tour of the amazon on a speed boat, that was pretty awesome. we went to club bananas on saturday night, it was a pretty cool place, but really no stunners there, i met a cute brazilian girl outside the club, and she agreed to come back to my hotel, i enjoyed her company, she stayed with me for the remainder of my stay.

My advice to everybody is never, exchange your money in the streets -- NEVER!. They will offer you a high exchange rate but they will rip you off when givin you the money (don't ask me how they do it). If you have to exchange your money in the streets look for the people how have their ID cards and always pick a women over a men.

Dear Iquitan Fellers,

I will be in Iquitos next month accompanied by a girl I lined up from this side of the equator. That prolly means little opportunity for the pursuit of the hobby. However, I would really like to take a trip out into the bush. I'd like to see the real Amazon, something worthy of a goddamn Nat. Geographic documentary with real indians w/ bones in their noses and titties flappin' free and all that - not some gussied up, put on show 10 minutes upriver meant for naive gringoes.

Can anyone hep me with the name of an outfit and any other info? Will be glad to post after-trip snaps and add to the knowledge base.

Try to visit the Reserva Nacional Pacaya Samiria, it is millions of acres of jungle full of wildlife. Only 60 miles from Iquitos - thats about 8 hours by boat! Years ago, I went to Lagunas (a very small town) near the park and rented a guide with boat for a few days. Very primitive, but incredible. I was able to do this because I am bi-lingual and took a "girl friend" semi-pro with me. This was years ago and I met her at a local dance club. (Sorry to hear you will be traveling with a woman and not available to try out the local talent.)

A more comfortable alternative is to hook up with someone like Explorama Tours (www.explorama.com) in Iquitos. They have a bunch of jungle lodges many of which are on environmentally protected lands. Very nice and a real jungle experience. Get a "limpieza" from a shaman! Or, take a walk on one of their canopy bridges they have built up in the tree tops. Book these tours and lodges from Iquitos or the USA. The Lima tourist agencies over charge for booking these trips, when you can easily do it yourself. Explorama is expensive but well worth it; operated by a gringo.

Finally, hit the Sourh American Explorers website (www.saexplorers.org). You can join for just a few dollars, they have a clubhouse in Quito, Ecuador and Lima, Peru. They are oriented more toward the highlands, but still have a lot of knowledge on the Amazon too. Its just a club, not profit outfit.

Have a great trip.
M.L.

Thanks guys, the explorama option looks good and I think I'm going to sign up.

Even if I can't score some local poon I'll do my best to get some area photography to post upon my return.

True. I prefer changing money in the casino's in Iquitos. There are also "chino's" who have change offices.
Otherwise tell the street gambista's that you forgot your money in the hotel and have them waiting in the lobby. Then whenever they give you the money, count it again and again. Even if he touches it only with one finger while you count it, count all the money you have again in full. I counted my money again for 4 times and each time it was different, truly amazing. After you satisfyingly counted your money and put it away, only then you hand them over your dollars or euro's.

Whiskerbisket, there is a Texan running a restaurant called "The Yellow Rose" one block of the Plaza de Armas. He's been living in Iquitos for years and has always been very helpfull with information, maybe he can help you.
Whatever locals tell you, don't have them take you to the Bora Bora's. What a commercial bullshit that was.

Really? That's really weird. I've stayed in Iquitos twice for 2 weeks each time. I ate in his restaurant many times and he's always been generous with advice on any question I had. Also about avoiding thieves.

I remember a local girl once talking bad about him and how everybody hated him, but I thought about it as jealousy.

Also you say he's making commissions on what thieves make of ripping off tourists? That sounds really hard to believe.

Anyway, I don't know. I don't know the guy well enough to vouch for him. I guess everybody should just be cautious with whoever they dealing with just as they always do when being on a trip. I know I am.

Thanks for the heads up anyhow.

I visited Iquitos for a few weeks last year, and had the opportunity to dine both at the Yellow Rose of Texas and the other American owned restaurant next to it. The two restaurants ( I don't remember the name of the other one) is in competition with the Yellow Rose. They really bad mouth the Yellow Rose. I guess it's competition--or maybe more.

By the way, there is also a heavy DEA presence in Iquitos. The food is okay at both places, but there is more than meets the eye to both restaurants it seems. The whole thing seems pretty silly, actually.

Just beware as a gringo in Iquitos you will be watched by a few prostitutes, a lot of thieves, a lot of NGO type organizations who think that you are out to enslave women, the coutnless husslers selling jungle tours. Some long-time ex-Thailand expat told me the story about the place.

If you really want to see the surrounding area, hire a boat for a few weeks and roam the estuaries of the Amazon with a trustworthy guide. This maybe your challenge, finding someone in Peru who is trustworthy.

Just don't take it personally. You are the "rich" gringo and the people around Iquitos are really friendly, but like always, watch your back.

What you have going against you is your proximity to the Colombian border, and a lot of trafficking on the Rio Napo and places north of Iquitos.
Sometimes there could be FARC incursions across the Putumayo into Peru, so don't go North.

So, by being in this area, you are going to draw the attention of some people because of the strategic location that Iquitos has in this drug war.

The city itself is peaceful, it ought to be due to the heavy army presence.
The US Navy Seals train the Peruvian navy in riverine patrols, there is an oil refinery nearby. It is the crossroads for cocaine leaving the Huallega Valley in northcentral Peru and southern Colombia, down the Amazon River.

Something tells me that Iquitos used to be great place as a sleepy jungle town before it got discovered by hordes of tourists, agents, contraband traficcers, missionaries, social workers. Unfortunately Iquitos also has a high AIDS infection rate due to its liberal social customs.

After all of this, I say I love the women of Iquitos. They are not evil, they are just trying to survive yet they have a lot of fun doing it and their femininity is really charming. Maybe you can find them in Lima too, if you know where to look.

The Peruvians here are great to party with, especially if you are willing to consume great quantities of alcohol and listen to loud music all night.

arrived in iquitos last night sick as a dog. so mongering was out of the question. my hotel(the ambassador) however, does not have a restaurant so after a nap i had to drag my ragged ass to the plaza to get something to eat. after getting some food down i took a short walk. it was about 10:30. didn't see any sw's. the safari is boarded up. and all over town they have signs that say something like; no al tourismo sexual de infantil.

i wonder if the ****s have screwed things up here.

my first impression of this place is that it reminds me a little of chiang mai or phitsanulok thailand. and the women are beautiful.

I foolishly booked an overnight Jungle Tour for saturday and sunday. Which meant, that since I was still feeling a bit sick staying up all night friday would be a bad play and saturday I would be gone. Even at 10 on friday the town is much livelier. Not so with the clubs though.

I asked a taxi driver to take me to Bananas. It has another name now(Carol y Virginia, Putumayo 769) so at first I thought he was jerking me around but the location is on Putamayou about where a poster said it would be. Either way too early or way too lame. Twenty soles to get in. No one dancing. I was the only one there. With three chicas I couldn't see. What is with the lighting in these joints? Don't we get enough surprises back at the room? Sat with a girl for about a minute. attractive enough from what I could see. But no english and I just didn't feel like trying that hard at this place.

I left with the intention of walking to Agresivo's. Some mototaxi driver hounded me about some places with chicas. Since one was right around the corner from my hotel I was intrigued and agreed to a one sole fare.

Rica Fa, 336 Fitzcarrld.

When we got there, I paid him and he got off his seat, ran with to the door right behind me, and was literally jumping up and down with excitement.

"Commision eh?"

"Yes, my commision"

Well there was no doorman so I opened the door and it was clearly not open for business yet. Lights on, no music, and empty tables. This was about 10:45.

"Sorry, Im going back to my hotel."

I walked to Agresivo's. The taxi driver had told me it was closed but now I didn't believe him. He was right. No sign of anything.

I returned to Rica Fa later and there was a doorman who blathered on and on about the place. Said he would let me in for ten soles because I didn't like beer. More likely because I was walking. And that they have beer, whiskey, dancing, chicas for companionship, blah blah. I did ask about salida. He said fifty soles. A couple of spanish speaking guys came up with their cab driver hopping behind them. They asked two questions. Listened to the doorman for two seconds and split. Good enough for me. I went back to my hotel. My stomach is worse now anyway.

This may be a good town for free action on the Malecon or Plaza de Armas. But I'm guessing way later. Maybe 1:00am. Most of the people I saw on the streets looked like teenagers at 10-11pm.

the jungle tour was great. used paseos amozonicas. not the cheapest but i got the best vibe from them when i was looking. didn't really want to get out on the river and find out i made a mistake for a few dollars. paid $100 for 9:00am until 4:00 pm the next day.

when i returned i went out with a cybercupido.com girl. very nice 19 year old with a smokin’ body. she brought a chubby friend with her which was disappointing but not surprising. i got great response with that website but the follow through has been hit or miss. on a short trip, even if you can make schedules work, you never know if you will be getting what i got here. had to meet the parents in order to stay out late alone with her. must not have passed the test because i found myself alone in one of those horrible mototaxi’s back to the plaza d’armas.

it had been pissing down rain earlier so the malecon was empty. didn’t really feel like calling it a night so i bit the bullet and went to rica fa. this time it was closer to 12:00. again i was the first one there. but this time a good number of people came in while i was there. very dark, no dancers. the whole place smelled like [CodeWord109] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109).

couldn’t see the chicas but the guy asked, i said yes, and he brought over a pretty attractive jungle woman. i forget where from. it soon became apparent that she was really high, really drunk, or both. i told her she could have a beer and she ordered a pitcher. maybe that’s the only way they come. she began emptying it as fast as she could. she would pour a glass, empty two thirds of it down her throat in two gulps and then chuck the last third on the floor. or, more accurately, she would dump most of it on the floor and some of it on my shoe. good night honey.

back at the ambassador, the doors were locked and i had to knock to get in. even though the guy knew me, he only opened the door partially and looked behind me and to both sides before he let me in. gotta wonder about guest friendliness here. although from my iquitos experience, it doesn’t matter much.

However I often leave my other half in the hostal on an evening and want a discreet suck from a young girl while i am in town. With regard to my limitations and considering i will only have an hour or two free time, what is the best way for me to get what I want?

I have just left Mancora and found it impossibly hard to find girls, so suggestions as to my best options in Iquitos would be much appreciated. I am new to this forum, community and hobby so thank you for your time and help.

I visited Iquitos last year. IMHO, the brothels near the airport were not worth it -- However, they are 3 or 4 brothels in the same block and you might find a cutie there. Good luck !

Another advice, DO NOT exchange your money in the streets -- they will rip you off.

Just arrived a few hours ago and Iīm happy to report that its possible to have great sex here; despite the previous posts.

When I arrived at my hotel, I asked the bellboy if he could get a woman for me and he promised me one within an hour. Fifteen minutes later, the guy at the front desk asked me if I needed a īmujer! I like this town :) Cristina arrived within an hour and I had a great time, in fact, Iīll probably see her tomorrow also. Cost: 150 of which 30 goes to the bellboy. Twenty years old with jet black hair and dark eyes. Beautiful. Pics to follow when I get home.

I ate at the Yellow Rose and met Gerald, the owner from Texas. Nice guy and very helpful with info. Good food also. Iīll check with him before booking any tours.

Its hot and humid here and lots of people wearing shorts, unlike Lima.

The girls are outstanding if you like the black hair/Indian type, which I love.

More to follow.

Returned to Iquitos after a three-day Amazon trip.

I had enlisted the help of some of the hotel staff to get a girl to accompany me on the Amazon trip and one of them did line up a girl but we got our wires crossed and I missed him and had to do the trip alone. I won't go into all the details about the Peruvian jungle, but at one point we trekked an hour into the jungle to an Indian camp. There were girls there who were bare breasted and looked fine. Also, there were some older 'warriors' blowing dart guns and stuff. I discreetly asked the guide if one of the young Indians would be available to come back to the lodge for the night, but he was adamant that this couldn't be done, so I left it alone. So, no pussy in the jungle.

When I returned to Iquitos, I stayed in a different hotel and again asked the bellboy about getting a woman. He told me he could. No problem. It would cost 150 soles, same as the other hotel, so now I figure that that is the going rate. In any event, I called Cristina from a few days before and she arrived within a half an hour. While she was with me, the phone rang twice and it was the clerk from the first hotel calling, offering me women! The hotel staff seem to be the way to go as the girls they provide are all part timers; students etc.

The main square, the Plaza del Armas is a low key, friendly place with lots of families, a large fountain etc. There are also some streetwalkers here and I was approached twice. I took one up on her offer one night. Cost: 100 soles. She wasn't that great looking and the sex was unspectacular.

Additionally, I met up with a few local girls on the street and took them to dinner. The Peruvians are a friendly people and easy to meet. No success in banging these normal girls but I really didn't have time. The real gem was Cristina. Pics below.

Dudes,

The girls here are very hot. To be honest, I don't see the point in paying for it as if u r half decent looking they will come to you. Go to Noa Noa and just stand at the bar. Another option is to go to the river promenade and hang out at a cafe. One word of warning, I attracted the attention of a 20 year old, who decided to camp out at my hotel in reception, which made meeting other chicks difficult. As for sex, I slept with a stripper from one of the clubs, great doggy action and a bit nuts...cost = $0.00.

Put on some nice clothes, flash some cash around and enjoy yourself. Welcome to the Jungle.

Not sure about the Yellow Rose of Texas owner Gerald...he seemed decent to me. Is there only 1 derogatory report on this forum about him?

I always stay at the hotel Dorado, and if really lazy, will ask the bell boy to get me a couple of girls. I don't even have to leave my room!

Hi Surfer,
Try Laguan Azul about two hours from Tarapoto.
It is a low-key tourist spot. No phone, no cellular service, no electricity all day.
But, it has a picturesque lake and great rooms by the lake for 20 soles per night. And you might even get lucky.

Tarapoto is more low key is how I found it. Although Iquitos is a shadow of its former self also. Tarapoto is cheaper, but it takes some work to get to know places. I think that for non-pro action either place is good.

Tarapoto culture is a mixture of the mountain and the jungle cultures.
Not quite jungle, not quite mountains.

Lamas is a ripoff as another member commented. Corrupt policia. You maybe straight as an arrow, but they are trying to scam you with something. Maybe it's just their way doing business, but I didn't like it. I had the impression while I was in Lamas (10km from Tarapoto) that they are in the business to scam tourists. Did not have that impression in any other town.
Yurimaguas, now this is definitely a jungle town, was low key and friendly. Great place to spend some time, and you are bound to find something agreeable there if you speak the language.

Yes, someone needs to update the membership on Tarapoto.

It was great pickings there in 2003, than it all went to hell in a handbasket in 2005. Serenazgo used to have their pickups parked on that plaza all day (and frequently at night also). That must have scared away the chicas, because I didn't see them on the streets. However, times change, so their back in 2007?

They used to ask for 20 soles a pop. More if they could but they would take that much.

lb, are you referring to this el commercio article of february 22?
http://www.elcomercioperu.com.pe/ediciononline/html/2007-02-22/onecperu0675805.html

according to this article, people are screwing on the market tables of belen, and on open boats on the water in belen. now i don't think that describes most of the clients who post on this forum. that is, if you know how dangerous belen is at night. i am assuming people aren't having sex on the vendors tables during broad daylight, or in pequepeques on the water in broad daylight. most tourists would be robbed within an hour at night in these places. the locals admonish the tourists not to go near belen at night. we must be talking about low end clientel here.

they also mention the "plaza de armas" in iquitos as a "zona roja". you have got to be kidding. all you see there is families and tourists strolling about. even late at night you *might* see a street walker or a transvestite.

whatever is happening in iquitos it's not the red-hot city of prostitution that the report makes it out to be. i am sure all of these things exist, but in low numbers. otherwise, you couldn't miss it just walking around, and i had walked around in this city a lot. there were wilder days a few years ago, but this report is an example of ngos making mountains out of mole hills, since peru has already passed some of the most stringent laws regarding minors.

It's unusually quiet on the Iquitos thread. I guess some people have to work for a living. Would be nice to read some recent updates though from any resident mongers there. Are the discos and clubs still decent pickup places? Not the clubs downtown, but the ones further from the tourist traps.

I was recently in Iquitos for a few nights and had a good time. The weather sucks for anyone who is not into humidity and very warm temperatures, but the people are very friendly.

I got one chica from a newspaper ad my first night, and she was fine. It's all starting to run together, but I think it was about 200 Soles for the hour, no issues, she stayed longer, and probably would have hung on to me if I had let her. There is a certain amount of desperation in Iquitos right now.

My last night, I was hanging around the plaza and a chica approached me. We took a stroll to negotiate. She started at 80 Soles for the hour, and I couldn't even try to get her down. She was thin and young, not beautiful, but good enough and I love that exotic mixture which seems common in Iquitos.

We got to the room, and after an hour, I wanted her to stay a little longer. She wanted 70 more, but we finally settled at 100 for about 2 hours. She was very nice, did what was wanted, and I gave her 110. She left happy, and I was happy too.

I stayed at the Victoria, and paid $40 US per night. The staff were very nice and I got no feedback about either woman coming up to my room.

If only the weather was more to my liking, I would definitely come back to Iquitos. It is laid back and decadent, pretty inexpensive for everything, but just kind of falling apart everywhere you look. It appeared to me that anyone with energy could do just about what he wants.

I had to admire some of the expats I met. 60 plus year olds with 4 year old kids just crack me up. I don't know how responsible that is, but for sure their women and kids are miles better off than a whole lot of the people I saw there.

Also do the casinos there play Texas holdem? Do they have regular tournaments? What is the pickup possiability at a casino in Iquitos?

It would be nice if you can fill us in a little bit about what you noticed in iquitos. You are the last one to have gone there.

I've been reading the old reports and I notice that there are ads in papers and some pfp on the street but what else ? Are there chongos casas etc. ? Is there a red light/SW district ?

Ive been to iquitos years ago on a trip up the amazon but I was with an organized tour. I thought it was pretty intresting. Im just trying to figure out if its worth spending the money on airfare/taxi to get jungle girls or is the money better spent in lima ? I know I can get jungle girls in lima but would there be a cheap abundance in iquitos is what Im trying to figure out.

I assume the whole trip from lima for 3/4 days would be around $500 including everything ?

There are 2 small, dirty, dark chongos with 5 women each (no girls), hhmm better describe as 5 moving objects, because it is so dark and creepy there. Right next the fire station. Not worth to visit at all.

If you speak Spanish and flirting is your cup of tea. Go for it. The jungle girls are no doable, at least that is what the guide told me. Every single girl in Iquito is easy to flirt with. To give you an impression how easy it is. We are having lunch in a famous restaurant and flirting with the waitress (cowgirls). At the same evening we have them together in a disco and finally in our hotel room. Sex for them is just as common as a goodbye kiss (american lifestyle). That’s why they are called “las mujeres mas caliente” by the same Peruvian. If Spanish is your obstacle, ask the bellboy for help. You don't need to tips them, because they get a cut from the girls.

Iīll be heading to Iquitos for a few days next week. I donīt suppose it makes sense to go there and not see the jungle, but I really donīt want to spend a night or more by myself in the middle of the jungle. Is it possible to just stay in the city and see jungle stuff during the day, or is it all too far away for day trips? Thanks for your help, guys.

I was in Iquitos for seven days. Briefly, the jungle is great (try the ayuasca and be prepared for a mind bending experience). The pay for play in Iquitos sucks, but the non pro action is great if you have some game. I had a hook up for a day and a half with a smoker.

Also, get out of the main area and try some clubs way out of town with a local guy. The girls out there are thick and like to have fun.

have fun, and be safe.

Itīs my second night in Iquitos, and while I really dig the city and the people Iīm gonna have to weigh in on the side of those who are saying that the p4p scene here is near dead. No clubs, no parlors, and the new mayor recently made this practically a dry town by outlawing alcohol after ten pm except on weekends. This essentially killed Iquitosī nightlife, and the sex scene that goes with it. No clubs, no bars, no nothing. Iīll be here tomorrow which is a Friday and let you know how it is then.

As for non pros, either I just havenīt got any game or Iīm too old (I look 45) but no vibe is happening here, at least yet. Iīll try the Noa Noa Club tomorrow, which I hear is pretty hot.

I met Gerald, the Texan owner of the Yellow Rose of Texas. Ok, so heīs not all warm and fuzzy, but heīs very kind and helpful. He already saved me a lot of time and money just by his advice, and he doesnīt get anything from anyone for giving it to me. I would avise anyone going to Iquitos not to commit to any tours until seeing Gerald.

Iīm staying at the Hotel Maraņon, $33/night. Nice enough, nice pool, and chica friendly (that is if I could find one). Good staff, no complaints.

There are a few street girls in the Plaza de Armas, but the only ones I saw were pretty grimy and some Iīm sure were not even women. They were asking 30 soles and I bet worth less than half of that. Heavy police presence in the square too, so itīs an interesting cat and mouse game between them and the girls.

I chose not to do any overnights in the jungle, and you donīt need to in order to see wildlife here. Since this is off subject PM me if you want any info on that.

Well after writing that last report I went to my hotel (Maraņon) and thought Iīd give the bellboy method a try. The guys at the desk actually offered. So I told them that no matter what she couldnīt be fat, and they said ĻNo, donīt worry,Ļblah, blah, blah. So this fat chick shows up at my door ten minutes later. Not bad looking, not ugly by any means, but guys, I just canīt do fat. Even with Viagra, which I took.

So I thought about sending her away, which is probably what some of you are gonna tell me I should have done, but I just didnīt want to risk making a scene here and having the people who are holding all my valuables pissed off at me. So after a few tries she finished me with her hand and left. Total time: 45 minutes. Total cost: 100 soles. I know, I know, I feel like an idiot, you donīt have to tell me. But I think it was a reasonable assumption that it would be ok, after reading some of your successes with this method. Bad luck, I guess.

I did complain to the desk guy, and he acted like he didnīt understand what I said about fat girls (Maybe he didnīt), and he promised me a nice flaca tomorrow. But I dunno....

My impressions on your post.

Noah Noah is only fair with lots of mediocre talent available and the hot girls mostly ignoring you. A better choice is to go out to where Groupo explosion is playing..a big outdoor venue. Bring a local with you...lots of touchy feely local guys want to talk to you while they are drunk off their ass. Potential for problems so if you are meek or physically unsure of yourself, donīt go. Girls everywhere tho.

Gerald is an asshole who is almost universally despised in Iquitos. However, the food is good and the waitresses cute.

Street girls in iquitos are bad. However, many normal girls will be walking around and many of them are receptive to a joke and then a drink somewhere and from there who knows? . If you want them, you MUST approach them and talk to them. They will not approach you unless they are hookers.

Peace out.

Back in Iquitos where it all started in January of 2006. Feels kind of surreal, partly due to no sleep. The city is much nicer than I remembered. I will be around for a couple days, probably having beers on the Malecon by myself, soliloquizing like Hamlet, sweating bullets. Why am I here again? I will ponder an answer to this question in the days to come. Time to go eat some baby back ribs ...

Update Oct8: last night bumped into a couple of the guys I did a rainforest trek with in 2006. Said they can pull a few chicas together for "English practice" tonight over a few beers. Alrighty, this is more like it. Attention class!

I took a Star Peru flight (via Tarapoto) to Iquitos, and I would not recommend them. Lan Peru has much newer and more reliable aircraft.

I had made a reservation at the Hotel Maraņon, based on some comments here, and I can HIGHLY recommend them. They advertise airport pickup but I had not pre-arranged with them. None the less, when I got to the airport, there was a sign with my name on it and a hotel van waiting for me.

The rooms at the Maraņon are clean and spacious with good cold AC and hot showers. I had a king size bed with cable TV (including porn channel). The price was S. /85 (about $31) per night including breakfast. The staff very friendly and at least at night very CHICA friendly as well. The location is perfect, just a block from the plaza, Noa Noa, and several very good restaurants. The ONLY negative for some people might be the lack of an elevator. If that's a problem, ask for a room on a lower floor (they have 4 floors). Also, the steet noise for some rooms might bother some people, but that is common with most hotels in Latin America.

My first night I wanted to explore all the possibilities. One of the moto drivers offered to help me out with my chica search, but I decided to give it a try on my own first.

I found a great little bar called Vocé at the corner of Napo and Condamine. The girls waiting tables at the bar are very friendly (Suli, Cristina and Jhuliana) so some of you young bucks could probably score some great non-pro action. This old man just enjoyed the company there. No pros in sight but a great place for beer and conversation.

Then I went to the famous Noa Noa. It is a great disco full of non-pro action and fun place to go, but not for me. I went back to Vocé to see if there might be some P4P there, but no luck. Then I walked around the Plaza, was approached a couple of times by SW's but nothing that suited me.

The night desk man at the Maraņon, Raul, offered to make a call for me. He said it would be S. /200 for a 2 hour call girl and would get me my favorite type (delgata). He told me if I did not like what I saw when she arrived I could send her away for a S. /5 taxi fare. It was nearly 4 AM by that time and in the middle of the Fiesta de San Juan so we bombed out and I spent my second night in Peru with my Peru virginity intact.

More later (it does get better, I promise).

I had researched on the web before I left home to try to find out where the action was in Iquitos. Mostly the posts were very old and listed half a dozen or so night clubs within walking distance of my hotel. After catching up on my sleep, I walked around in daylight to scope them out. Included on my list were Agresivas Night Club, Emmanuels, Tropical, El Farolito, Rincon de Lucy, Las Divas, Bananas, El Alfil Manosa and Africa. As far as I could tell after walking around to the street corners and addresses listed for these, not one of them was still operating. I like to meet and talk with a chica before negotiating. So I prefered not to take a call girl on the blind. But I was about ready to give up on that and let the hotel night desk guy (Raul) make a call for me.

Then a moto driver in front of the hotel approached me and asked if I wanted to find a chica. He was not the same guy as the previous night. I think his name was Guite, or something like that. I asked him if any of the clubs would be open on a Sunday night and he said they would be after about 11 PM.

So at 11 PM I got in back of his moto and we were headed off to his favorite best place, named Fin de Manica (or something like that). We drove out Putumayo just past the sports stadium and turned right on a dirt road. The place was closed.

So we went back on Putomayo to another place called Banditos just off Putumayo before the sports stadium. They wanted S. /2 just to walk in and see that there were no chicas in sight. No customers. Just an empty place with an empty stage.

Guite said he knew of another place across town so off we went again. I am not sure where we went but it was in the general direction of the airport. Finally we ended up in this little hole in the wall place called Las Gatas. It was about as low class as a "night club" can get. Just a dark room with a couple of home made little wooden stools and table off to one side. Guite and I took a seat while they brought in the entertainment. A skinny, drugged up, washed out, bleached blond who staggared over and sat on a stool next to me. "Vamos" I said to Guite, and off we went on his moto again.

By this time it had started to rain, but we drove on for about 20 minutes and eventually pulled up in front of a little disco which was basically full of local young people who were winding up the Fiesta de San Jaun weekend drinking and dancing. If I was a few years younger, probably would have been a good place, but not for me.

I got to give Guite credit, he did not give up easily. He said he knew of yet another club back across town so off we went in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. I recognized the airport road and a block wall with "Escuela de las Juveniles" or something like that, and across the street a sign pointing to Las Divas. Down a dirt road and to the left we pulled up in front of what looked like a house (or shack) with iron bars all across the door and windows.

Guite and I walked up to the place and there was a guy inside the door and I could see someone sleeping on a sofa just inside. It took them a few minutes to find the key to open their own front door, but soon we were walking back into a place that had a little stage in one room and a series of smaller rooms surrounding it, each with sofas, and all pretty dark. They woke up someone sleeping on a sofa in one of the rooms and kicked him out. Up walked the entertainment. Two chicas this time. One cute little jungle girl for me and a slightly heavier one for Guite. Things were finally looking up.

(to be continued)

Las Divas is definately unlike any night club or strip bar I had ever been in. It seemed like the stage in the center room was never used, there were no chairs anywhere except in the private rooms surrounding the center room. We were in a private room with two sofas, the moto driver Guite sitting with the heavier chica on one sofa and me with the petite spinner type on the other. They brought us a Pilsner Grande with 4 glasses and we all sat there drinking and talking. She said her name was Salimari (or something like that) and she was 22 years old but looked to me more like 18 or 19. I had not yet exchanged any of my money so was still pulling from US dollars and taking change in soles. A big mistake since I was not fully familiar with the exchange rate yet. Add that to the fact that I was not paying too much attention, distracted by the attention I was getting from Salimari, and I am sure I was short changed or over charged or both. After a couple of twenties pulled from my wallet and several Pilsner Grandes, the girls asked for a Coca Cola instead. When the guy said it was 20 soles for two cokes, I sort of woke up and started feeling ripped off. I refused to pay that much and got really pissed off and got up to leave the place. Guite and I were half way out the door when the girls came and begged us to stay, and forget about the cokes. I really wanted to score with this one so I went back in the private room and they brought us another Pilsner no charge.

The attention I was getting from Sali was getting hotter, and pretty soon Guite explained the terms they had come to for a take out. We could leave with both chicas to my hotel for S. /300 en todo. 200 for Sali and 100 for the other. And they would not charge us the normal S. /50 take out fee. Or. I could stay right there in a private room for S. /100 full service. I really wanted to get that one in my hotel room so agreed to the price, but told Guite I wanted Sali alone and he would have to find his own place for his chica. Unfortunately I did not have enough money with me, so with Guite driving the moto, the two chicas and I, and some guy from Las Divas, all climbed in the back of the moto to go to my hotel.

When we got there, Raul at the hotel front desk checked Sali's ID and held it for security. We went up to my room and I paid what was owed in US dollars. $100 in twenties. Since the guy from Las Divas was taking it back with him. I usually do not pay in advance but somehow between the beers and the desire after two fruitless nights in Peru, I went along with it.

I have to say, Sali was doing a great job, really getting into it and giving me a great BBBJ. After a few minutes my phone rang and someone said something in Spanish that I could not understand, so I just hung up and we went back to it. Then a few minutes later there was a knock on my door. It was Guite. He said the guy from Las Divas wanted some fresher looking twenties. That the ones I gave them were too worn and they would not be able to exchange them. I was REALLY pissed by that time by these interuptions. I told him tough shit, take it or leave it and told him to leave. Then he wanted to know if I was going to pay him for moto driving. I told him he got his with the S. /100 for his chica and the $5 gas money and drinks I had paid for. If he wanted to discuss it more, come back tomorrow.

He left after that and we went back to it. Then she covered and mounted me, but I wanted missionary. She seemed reluctant for that but gave in in the end. I felt her get wet and hot and that was all it took to finish me off.

She got up to get cleaned up and I wiped off with a towel. We hugged and talked a little and I was ready for her to leave. I walked her downstairs, to get her ID and outside to one of the waiting motos. Guite and the guy from Las Divas were nowhere in sight. I gave her S. /5 for taxi fare and went back up to my room. Then I discovered what the hot and wet was all about. I had to wash out the towel and there were a few red stains on the bed sheets. What a night!

NEXT. I figure out where to find the SW action in Iquitos.

I really liked Iquitos. The people there generally were friendly and the streets felt safe to walk around. At least in the central plaza area and the Boulevard when there were other people around. I did not spend much time late at night, but up until about midnight, it seemed reasonably safe.

The first couple of nights I checked out the Plaza and did not find any SW's there except a couple of times when they were walking up from the Boulevard. The "Boulevard" is like a promenade or boardwalk that runs all along the Rio Amazonas almost from the slums of Belen to a few blocks past the main part of town. The most popular part runs between Napo and Nauto. Every evening it is crowded with local people and a few Gringos with musicians, comedy/charade acts, street vendors, etc. They are mostly young people and couples but also some families. Included in the mix (as I found out) are also a few not-so-obvious SWs.

My 4th evening in Iquitos I was down on the Boulevard about 10 PM just checking out the local flavor and people watching when I noticed a conservatively dressed, fairly attractive woman of about 28-30 years old sitting on the edge of the low wall that overlooks the river. I sat down about 8 feet from her and after a few minutes struck up a conversation. After some idle chit chat, I asked her if she would like to go get a cerveza.

When she agreed, I asked her to pick out the place and we ended up at a little bar with sidewalk seating, just a half block and across the street from my hotel. Coincidence, I am sure. (I don't know the name of the place but it is on Nauta, halfway between Fitzgerald and Raymondi. They have live music (guitar player/singer) and the cervezas are cheap.)

We talked for a while, enjoyed the music and a couple of beers, then I asked her "ŋA que se dedica? " She replied that sometimes she provides companionship for the turistos. All I needed to hear. She was not a ravishing beauty, but a nice slim body and very pleasant personality. We agreed to S. /100 and walked across the street to my hotel. (Her name was Alejandra, in case one of you happens to run into her. Sorry I did not get a phone number.)

She did not have an ID with her, but was obviously of age. Raul at the hotel had her fill out a visiter form and upstairs we went. What followed was my best experience of the entire trip. A true GFE. We showered together, full oral, kissing, abrazos, touching. And to my surprise she wanted to turn on the porn channel on the TV. I really think she got into it as much as I was. No one was watching the clock but I am sure we were together well over two hours. When I was ready to call it a night, I walked her downstairs and gave her a propina for taxi fare.

For several more evenings that I was in Iquitos, I walked down to the Boulevard and started noticing more and more SW's there. Most of them not real obvious. I think altogether there were only 2 instances where they approached me. I took advantage of the SW scene only one other night, but that experience did not turn out nearly so well, and will be covered in another report a little later.

My last night in Iquitos, I wandered up and down the Boulevard, looking for a likely prospect. I spotted Alejandra, but I have learned that a repeat time is never as good as the first, and I wanted to try someone new. Finally spotted a really gorgeous young lady who looked the part, and started a conversation. She seemed to be very nervous and I wondered if maybe she was new at the game. She wanted S. /50 for a masaje but seemed open to more fun than that. I asked if she would come to my hotel but she insisted she wanted to go to another hotel No way! Eventually she agreed but still seemed very nervous about going to my hotel. I asked if she wanted a cerveza and we walked a couple of blocks further down the Boulevard to a little bar. After some conversation and my clear suggestion that I was willing to pay a little more for more service, we walked back up to my hotel. Again, she was very reluctant, but I finally convinced her that it would be okay there. When we got up to my room she refused anything more than a massage, so I told her that was not what I wanted, and we left. I walked her back to the Boulevard and gave her S. /20 out of charity, I guess, and to pay for her time. I looked around for an alternative for the evening but found nothing that really suited me.

So, I went back to the hotel and asked Raul to make a call for me. He had told me it would be S. /200 for 2 hours, and when she arrived if I did not like, I could just pay S. /5 for taxi fare. It was no more than 10 minutes and the knock came at my door, Raul accompanied by a beautiful, slender, raven-haired chica. About 25 years old. Her name Patricia. When she got into the room, I explained exactly what I wanted and told her I would pay S. /150. She agreed immediately to the price, making me wonder if I could have done the deed for S. /100. Anyhow, there was no disappointment. Not the GFE like I had a few days earlier. But great sex none the less.

So to sum up my Iquitos experiences some recommendations:

Hotel Maraņon is a great bargain for a chica friendly place in a good location. Raul who works the desk at night will make calls for you if you want, and there are moto drivers out front who will help you find places if you want.

The best SW action is along the Boulevard between Napo and Nauta Streets. Forget about the Plaza de Armes.

The clubs are all very low class. Don't go expecting a high class strip joint.

A nice neighborhood type bar is the Vocé at the corner of Napo and Condamine.

A great restaurant is the Huasaí, just around the corner from the Maraņon on Fitzgerald Street.

NEXT I will post a report on my stay in Tarapoto. On the Tarapoto page.

I am planning to be in Iquitos for a week Jan. 16-23. Would be happy to meet other members while there.

Also, a question to those who know Iquitos: is Eldorado Plaza Hotel chica-friendly? There is also hotel El Dorado (without a "plaza" in its name), and Victoria Reggia, and Maranon. Where would you recommend to stay, for the optimum combination of room quality, chica-friendliness, availability of a swimming pool and of course price?

And, if I may, a question about jungle trips: what can one do to see the amazon jungle without spending several days and going very far from Iquitos? Like, making a day or two-day trips, perhaps?

1. I used to stay at the different El Dorados, IMHO overpriced for what you get. Suggest Hotel Safari next to the Malecon. Cheaper, good location, no problem bringing in girls. If you donīt have one, the bell-boy can fix you up. Phone 065225122. Bargain. No pool. Have to decide if the mini-pool in the El Dorado is worth an extra $50 a night.

2. All the wildlife around Iquitos has long ago been killed off. It is necessary to travel many hours by river to find anything which resembles real jungle. Once you see five minutes of the jungle on the river, you have seen the same that you will see traveling 10 hours to Tabatinga and Leticia.

3. The tourist trip to see the Bora Bora Indians is fake.

I recommend, highly the Maranon. It is nice, clean, great location, and very chica-friendly. In fact the night staff will fix you up with any kind of girl you want.

As for seeing wildlife, I agree with David, you'd have to go very very far away. Better off going to that reserve near Puno (I forget the name).

However, there is a "Butterfly Farm" a short boat ride from Iquitos. The woman who runs it also cares for abandoned and abused monkeys and other animals. I had a blast there. It's called Pulipitati or something like that. i spent hours playing with the monkeys, ant-eater, tapir, and watching her jaguar (behind wire, of course). Well worth the trip - 3 soles by mototaxi and 1 sol down the river.

The "zoo" is a waste of time and will make you sad.

If you are physically fit to undertake long journeys by water in cramped accomodations such as sleeping in a hammock elbow-to-elbow with the locals...
I recommend the boat trip on the Rio Napo from Coca, Ecuador to Iquitos, Peru.
It may take a week or so.

The rewards? Lots of eye candy. The boat stops frequently to pick up passengers and cargo in the most unlikely spots and the scenery is beautiful.
Many women are to be seen along the way to suit any preferences. Although if you want to indulge, you would have to speak Spanish and also take along a Quechua dictionary as many locals only speak that Indian dialect fluently. The kids should be able to translate into Quechua for you though if you speak Spanish.

If you insist to spend some time in one of the villages along the river, go see the village headman first. It is a sign of respect to speak to him first, even if you don't speak Quechua. If you have buddy to travel with it would be better. One option is to get off the boat at one of the bigger towns (very few) such as Angoterro. It is about an 8 hour trip from Pantoja at the Ecuador border. You could spend the night here at the hotel Monte Cristo.
I have not been to that hotel, but the boat stops here. The boat docks around 9 p.m. and a bunch of women and girls get on board to sell fruit and chat with you. The next morning you could hire a reputable guide to take you to see the Seqoia Indian community. Stories I cannot confirm is that the village chief can have women sleep with you for the night.

I personally liked Pantoja as it is really out in the sticks and the locals rely on hunting for their meat. The border settlement is secured by an army contingent. If you are coming from Iquitos, buy some shotgun shells (20 gauge). I have seen a guy pay 4 soles for one shell. The locals hunt with 20 gauge shotguns. You would be surprised what you can get in trade for 20 gauge shells. If you are coming from Ecuador, I don't know if you can bring them from Ecuador. You could use Pantoja as your base and hire guides to take you to see the real jungle. Of course you could also ask these kind boatmen to take you to see some local women :)
Good health is important as the nearest hospital, in practical terms, is in Iquitos, 1000 km away.

If you have more time than money, this is the way to see the jungle.

There is also Pevas, less than a day by fast boat from Iquitos where you can see Boras and the Yaguas in a less commercial setting. I have not made it to this place yet, so can't recommend one way or another, but it has to be less commercial than Iquitos and there is tourism here.
You might get cheaper jungle tours here as well.

Hola todos, up and down the streets in all directions, talking to the locals and the girls working the streets are not here. I did find a chica sitting on a couch at the River Fox hotel which is at the corner of Fitzgcarrad and Nauta who said she would give me a very nice massage for 100 soles. She was sitting in the lobby of this hotel. I gave it a pass as she would not negotiate very much.

Note: Flights from the Iquitos airport go to Lima, Pucallpa and Tarapoto. There is no direct from flights here to Ecuador.

The locals call it bele trocha and here in Iquitos a casa is known as a bordello. It is 5 buildings side by side where the chicas rent the rooms and stand in the doorways and ply their trade. Prices range from 10 soles to 20 soles, uncovered, covered, everything is negotiable. It is set up the same way as Trocodero is in Lima. Only open at night around 7 pm, 7 days a week. The number of girls ranged from 6 to probably 15 with room or doors available for another 10 or so. All locals, this place is not for the timid, but I didn't feel any pressing issues. One place had a 2 sole cover to see the girls. Plenty of local security for the girls and the business.

I was there at 730 pm, my moto taxista walked through each place with me the first time and then I bought him a beer and told him to hang out. I walked back through and took care of business. Don't forget everything is negotiable because once you pay and start to play if you want any extras, like the top off and you didn't negotiate it first, expect the phrase of "tu pagues me mas?"

The names of the bordellos are la chispa de amor, las cucardas and las cucardas star ant bele trocha. The area is known as bele trocha. It is located in districto San Juan near the airport. Their was plenty of moto taxistas waiting out front. It is on the street (dirt road) known as pasaje de Pucayacu and it is next to the compenero de los bomberas de San Juan. This is not an area with street adresses. It is located about 25 minutes from the plaza de armas, the centro of Iquitos.

It is what it is, I am glad I went, but if you never get here you will have missed nothing but the experience. I don't plan on going back.

If you need a guide in Iquitos, please let me recommend a young man that can pick you up at the airport and will give you good service for a fair price and he can use the work. He does not speak english, but knows Iquitos back and forth.

No. But think twice about going to Santa Rosa...nothing there but mosquitos and blackouts at night. Better off in Leticia or Tabatinga although I have never been able to get laid in either spots. Probably says something about my lack of encantos and/or game.

i took that flight back some years ago since i wasn't ready for another 12 hours or so back to iquitos by boat. it was run by the military airline tans and utilized planes which could land in the river. after a few crashed they stopped the service. as far as i know the best way to do the trip is by "speed boat (deslizador)". go here: http://transturperu.vilabol.uol.com.br/transporte2.htm takes about 10 hours from iquitos downriver, upriver obviously takes longer. the real nice guy who was in charge of the tabatinga office was gunned down a couple of years ago.

the other way is by normal boat (don't forget to bring a hammock), which will take you a couple of days. or you can fly to bogota and then on to leticia on aero republic: http://www.aerorepublica.com/index.php3 i did this from leticia, on to bogota and back to lima in order to avoid the trip back up the river...and also to check out a girl with giant boobs who i had met on the internet and who invited me to her birthday party in ibague.

you might try calling or faxing the airport in iquitos to find out if there is anyone flying to leticia (no airport in santa rosa which is usually underwater): (511) 065-260147 - fax: 260151 or send them an e-mail: culfe@corpac.gob.pe .

Sorry, I did the lodge thing and wasn't too impressed...I prefer the chicas to the animals. Some forum members however have recently spent some time in different lodges. Maybe they can PM you or put some information on the thread. If not, spend some time googling...that's the only advice I can give you. In the future if you want a jungle experience, I suggest Madre de Dios and El Manu.

Any recommendation for a Lodge or activity other than mosquitos. Thanks.

On my first trip to peru I did an amazon cruise from iquitos to letecia. This was the option I chose over going to machu pichu...wrong choice. The only animals I saw were a sloth and 2 garden snakes.

I spent 4 nights on land at a lodge and it drove me nuts. The ants were out of control as well as the snoring old ladies in the next cabin. Not to mention all you see is the same scenery...not many landscape changes. We visited little towns on the water and once or twice the locals took off their street clothes and perfomed a show for us.

Iquitos was cool though. The jungle women are very beautiful. Eventually I will go back there.

Last May, I spent 4 nights 5 days in the Amazon Rainforest Lodge. I also spent one night in the City of Iquitos. The main reason I enjoyed the trip is that I took a lady friend (regular girl) from Lima with me for the trip. It became kind of a honeymoon trip. For the first two nights, we were the only guests in the lodge. The rest of 22 Bungalows were totally empty. We were doing things in broad daylight because of this newfound privacy. We got a matrimonial suite. The bed was so large that you could play soccer on it. Entire resident support staffs were serving us day and night. There was lots of side trips scheduled every day. We were fortunate to see some Pink Dolphins on the Amazon River after a wait of more than half an hour. There were visits to Snake farm, Butterfly farm, Indian villages, liquor making, fishing and staffs like that. All in all, it was a successful trip.

I could imagine, without a female company, the trip could be unbearable.

Hi, 2 years ago I was in Iquitos for one week. In Iquitos there are wonderful girls but I found them very timid. After two days I had not found a girl yet. Yet I noticed that there were many local boys that had 5-6 girl-friend. I thought, very strange I am not able to find a girl-friend for 4-5 days. Very strange because I am a good looking man. Then I have known by local boys that in Iquitos the greatest part of the girls are ashamed to walk and to talk to a foreigner. it seems unbelievable but it is so and in Iquitos and I fucked very little with regular girls.
What is your opinion?

I met and hooked up with a young girl that was working the front desk of the hotel I stayed at. She didn't have any hang ups about being seen around town with me. We went to restaurants, rode her motorcycle all over Iquitos and were together several days during her time off work. The only thing she didn't want to do was come to my room, this I understood and we would rent a room at a hospeage when we wanted to be alone. She was a real sweetheart and girlfriend.

Buying dinners and entertainment was the only cost and she expected nothing else. I did take a couple of days cultivating a friendship before we started going out. YMMV but I found Iquitos great and the chicas very passionate and true GFE.

I love Iquitos - The climate, food, overall vibe, and the women. They are friendlier and less mistrustful than in San Martin (Tarapoto) and not at all ashamed to be seen with a gringo.

Unfortunately I was only there less than two days this time. There is no P4P action to speak of, unless you're bottom-barrel fishing in some bad locations, but the "non-pro" scene is alive and well. These girls love meeting gringos!

Wouldn't you know it, an hour before my departure the girl at the cafe wanted to hook up with me, but at least we exchanged information and I will be back anyway. Sorry I wasn' there long enough to have much else to say this trip.

By the way, except for the Tulintupasi (sp?) butterfly farm, don't come here to see the animals. Theyīve all been killed. Go to the Manu reserve for that. The butterfly farm is worth seeing - Iīm not into butterflies but she's got a really cool jaguar, manatee, caimans, monkeys, giant anteaters, parrots and tapirs.

If money and chica-friendliness is not important to you stay at the Doral in the main square. Five stars all the way. I stayed at the Maranon, nearby. Basic but good, great staff, and 99 soles per night for a decent room with hot water. Near everything.

Don't pay any more than 3 soles for a mototaxi ride ANYWHERE in Iquitos, or you're getting ripped off.

In Tarapoto, the Jaguar is the chongo to check out. Cute Chinese girl 20 yo 15 soles.
Or was it the other way around? Can't remember.

By the way, except for the Tulintupasi (sp?) butterfly farm, don't come here to see the animals.

Go see the Boras though near Padrecocha. If you go early (before 8 am) you will have all the dancing native girls to yourself topless. For 30 soles that's pretty entertaining dancing the anaconda dance with them.

Your mileage improves if you speak Spanish--at least street Spanish.
They really like gifts. Even during a first conversation you can give her a
trinket and watch her reaction.

Iquitos market is a good place to chica hunt as well, if you have the balls.
Speaking some Spanish helps and sign language if you need to.
At night do not go near the market area. It's safe during the day, but at night you might get stabbed in the dark.

The rest of the city is safe at night as well, although I had a tense moment near an ATM (near the market area) at night. Stopped to withdraw money. Had the moto driver wait with the chica. Two characters on the street were sizing me up and one said to the other "his woman is right there" and they left.

Yeah, David, after Iquitos it is somewhat of a let down. I stayed in Leticia and mongered in Tabatinga for a week. Georgeous Brazilian chicas in Tabatinga but they seemed so unreachable. Hotel owner in Leticia was able to make a call though and a chica from Tabatinga showed up. I knew that this would be the only chica I would have while there.
I'm not going to discuss too much the overworked putas on calle internacional, good for a quick release(mainly girls from Bogota). Attractive Colombian women they were, it's just that they get way too much business.

Plus you can find things that aren't sold in stores--live animals for instance, like monkeys and perezoso (sloth). Forbidden to take them out of the country, however.

Also, bottles of aphrodisiacs are sold, like Parapara, Tres Por Noche, Siete Raices, 21 Raices, Levanta Lazaro. I tried one of those and could not sleep all night, had 3 orgasms and could have handled a fourth one but it was already morning. Maybe it was the girl not the potion, who knows. If this is what you need, I would give it a shot.
Oil workers (they tend to have money over there) hire 3 or 4 girls at a time and have no problem satisfying all of them, so there must be something to it.

Ceviche de conchas negras with black īmaltaī beer.

Leche de Tigre or Leche de Pantera cocktails (sort of liquid ceviche).

Noche de Bodas cocktail (boiled and liquefied fish heads with peppers).

Drinking Chicha de Jora or drinking Yonqui on regular basis.

Drinking Siete Raices or Rompe Calzón liquor from the Selva - can be found in ībebidas exoticasī shops or brought from the Selva. There are several similar drinks available.

Liquefied frogs, with quiwicha - seen it in Gamarra market. There was a queue to buy this drink, they claim it is good for practically everything.

You can get them in bottles or you can buy the roots and bring them back to your country.
When you get home, all you need to do is put the roots inside a bottle of vodka and let it sit for a couple of days. A quarter glass is more than enough. It is best to drink it at 7 p.m. then take a cold bath as you begin to feel warm all over. Then when the lady shows up at 9 p.m. you are ready. The best thing about these natural aphrodisiacs is that they work gently. It's not like viagra it's more subtle yet it's longer lasting.

I gave them a ring. Its 60 soles for half an hour. The GUY who answered the phone was a little strange. And the cost is extremely low. I was thinking that the 60 soles could be the agency fee and then one would have to pay the girls separately. But the guy said that it includes everything. So the next forum member who visits Iquitos might want to try them out. The photos donīt look like the fake and photoshopped ones on the Lima chica webpages.

Well, we were bored so a friend, who grew up in Iquitos, and I took his motorcycle out to the chongos. He said he had not been in 20 years so he was looking forward to it. For me, I just wanted to see what they were all about. At the end of a long road out near the airport, you will find 5 buildings all connected together. All are free to enter except the last one which cost 2 soles (about 75 cents). I was surprised to see so many guys in each of the "establishments". Most were watching porn that was playing on TV's in three of them. At most, there were 4 or 5 girls that were not busy when we walked into each one. Most are very dark inside so you really can not see what the girls look like. Luckily I had my trusty cel phone with me so I could use the light to see what the girls looked like. All the girls that we saw were 5's (maybe the 7's and 8's were busy in their rooms). One girl grabbed my crotch as I walked by, so I shined my cel phone on her (which she did not like). Light shinned onto a face that was at least 40 years old (but could have been younger as they lead a hard life in these places).

Needless to say, nothing happened for each of us (I had already decided it was just a scouting trip). We ended the night at a local bar that serves "traditional" drinks called Musmuqui (which means night monkey). They play decent music and it really is not visited by the tourists so you can see all the local flare.

I personally would never have ventured there on my own. Not because I would be afraid to go there on my own. I just don't think they have full body condoms in Peru that I would feel I need to "protect" myself agains STD's!

I was in Iquitos the end of October for twelve days. I have a couple of girls that I have kept in contact with since I was there three years ago so it was easy to make contact with them, instant relationship! I stayed at La Posada de Lobo, S110 a three star hotel with a pool and AC about five motocarro minutes from Plaza de Armas and girl friendly. All they was needed was a ID, no hassles, the night clerk kept asking me if I needed company, think he probably got a little propina for calling one. I declined because it was just too easy to find them on my own. Every night there are 3-4 or more 18-21 year old girls working the Plaza or the Boulevard. I made one a semi-regular, great GF experience and only S70 for and hour and half to two hours of company. Watch out for the trannys, they generally are dressed better than the girls!

One afternoon I mentioned to the receptionista that I would like to go get a massage. She told me there was no need to go anywhere, she like to give massages. As soon as she was off duty she was in my room, stripped and giving a GF massage with benefits, I tipped he S50 and she was very happy with it, and ask if I wanted a massage tomorrow.

Most of motocarro drivers that hang around hotels have several girls that they can contact. I finally let my motocarro driver introduce me to one S100 for her and S20 taxi money for and hour and a half. The first girl was a university student a little chubby but very enthusastic performance with much kissing and BBBJ, CFS. The next time I insisted on flaca and another university girl, morena chica with an even better performance than the first. In fact so good that I decided to have her over again the next night, again S100 plus S20 taxi.

I found Iquitos very easy to meet pros, semi-pros and non pros alike. It was not unusal for a girl to strike up a conversation and one of the first things they usually ask was if I was solo. An invitation to lunch and back to the hotel to have a swim was about all it took with most of them. Before I left home I bought a couple of cheap $29 RCA walkmans at Wal-Mart. Probably the best investment you can make, the non-pros become your best GF with this little gift.

Can't wait for a return trip because I collected more e-mail addresses and plan to stay in contact with them.

Awesome post, he. He. He.

I was in Leticia 1. 5 years ago. I had been debating whether to travel upstream to Iquitos or downstream to Manaus. I ended up choosing the later. During that time, the area was affected by the effects of El Niņo which was the reason why the water levels of the river and its tributaries were so low. How's the water level now? There were many sand boxes along the way so the boat took even longer to arrive in Manaus. I'm still interested in exploring Iquitos and continuing on from there to other parts of Peru. Your info. Will definitely come in handy as we can all definitely benefit from it. Please keep sharing your stories and insights with us. Thanks and best of luck!

Ok, I attached a pic of the menu at the local burger joint, Ari's, which speaks for itself.

Now anyone who tells me this place is not sexually liberated, well, I would have to think you just have not been here.

Too bad it's so bloody hot and dirty here, or I'd stay longer LOL. I was following your posts from Colombia. You seem to have a lot of time to spend. That is good for you.

Now you are in Peru. I think you will like Lima way better than MDE. Lima has way more things to do when you get a little tired of Mongering. I also think the girls in Peru are less jaded than the Colombian women.

If you have looked at the Lima board at all I'm sure you will know who to contact to find that extra special Chica, or Chicas if your heart so desires.

I was veteran of Lima (8 trips in two years) then I started going to Colombia as it was closer to the USA and a little cheaper airfare. I think it is now time for me to return to my old stomping grounds in Lima.

John Gault, if you had been following the "world traveler's" posts you would have seen that he has already left his "mark" on the Lima thread. He informed us that he has lots of time and money to waste and therefore prefers to frequent high end bars and clubs and the company of high society forum members such as Lima Busy. http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?2798-Lima&p=1106674&viewfull=1#post1106674

did not rave about him or his working girlsMore than 100 forum members would disagree with your description.

Well, I am proud and happy to have a job and work like other ISG forum members, and I personally could care less if members post about what a great time they have with the normal girls they have met through me. Less than 10% post anything anyway. I am also more than happy to see worthwhile, non-braggart informative posts which contribute in a positive way to the Lima thread. However I like many other members, take issue with someone who completely fills up a thread with garbage, much of which shouldnīt even have been posted on the Lima thread at all. As I recall you said you would not post there anymore. We can only hope you keep your promise and either stay in Iquitos or don't post while you are in Lima.

Maybe Jackson could give you a special "Palermo Wastrel" thread; for members who have plenty of time and money to waste.

By the way, Iīm sure you would do well both as a pimp and since almost all you write is crap; selling toilet paper.

Since from your first PM I could tell you were an asshole, I was smart enough to put you on my "don't help this asshole" list. Luckily none of my "ten skanks" (that will get you even more friends on the forum), didn't have to put up with your presence.

I was glad to see some activity on the Iquitos thread. Iquitos is probably my favorite city in all of SA and CA. As Palmero wrote there are lots of chica opportnites in Iquitos, you just need a little time to develop the non-pros, but there are abundant pros and semi-pros. I have found more GFE even among the pros in Iquitos than any place in the world.

Those of you that visit Lima might have noticed that some of the hottest chicas in the clubs or saunas are from the jungle.

Visitors, keep up the Iquitos post, it makes me want to return sooner than I have planned.

I don't want to get in on this [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) fight, but to clear one thing up. If the two chicas that David sent to me while I was in Lima November are skanks, I sure hope he has more like them when I return this year.

The taxi driver introduced me to a blonde friend of his, she was pretty cute, not stunning, and I was going to go have a drink with her, but the idiot driver kept interfering and saying he would take us somewhere he thought we should go.

I don't have much tolerance for these guys so after arguing with him for 2 or 3 minutes I just said forget it, see you later (I think the driver told me his name was 'david treinta why tres' LOL)

I don't think the guy had anything bad planned for me, he just wanted to milk me for some $$ and I hate that shit.

I walked a few blocks to El musmuqui on raymondi 382, that's a not bad area, worth checking out. The bar was full, but mostly couples, not too much for me there. I'm sure other times it could be a good place to meet someone.

Wandered back to the malecon and sat down at Arandu (arambu?) bar overlooking the river.

There always seem to be a few working girls walking along, nothing too great, but often one attractive girl with 1 or 2 sketchy ones.

A cute girl sat down a few tables away from me, alone, and so I gave her a look and she looked right back and smiled, so I knew she was a possibility.

Not too much else was going on so I went and sat with the single girl, 'Mariana', who has a tear drop shaped tattoo between her eyes. I bought her a beer and we chatted. Before too long a wild looking girl with 'hecho en Peru' tattooed across her belly joins us, her name is CheChe and she's mariana's half sister, supposedly.

Mariana tells me CheChe is a lesbian, to which CheChe replies noooo! Bisexual! CheChe is a ball of fire as you can imagine, singing and dancing and she suggests over and over that we go 'have a party'.

Mariana wants to go to Voce Bar, which is just a block or two from hotel maranon, and I am sure that working girls must hang out there, so might be worth checking out.

CheChe wants to go to some bar called paraiso, which mariana says is too dangerous, and the two waiters are taking all this in and laughing, so I knew the girls weren't dangerous, they would have warned me.

CheChe speaks pretty good English so she tells me her plan is for us to go spend an hour in a bar and then mariana will come back to my hotel for a 'masaje', wink wink, big laugh all around.

I told them I seriously just want to go to my hotel, but a masaje sounds good. Mariana says 150 soles for everything, but I said no, just a nice massage with a happy ending and some other things and she said 100 soles ($33)

That's probably way too much for iquitos, but she's a cute girl and so I agreed and off we went.

She gave her cedula at the front desk, which they kept until she left. When she left the desk clerk phoned up to make sure all was ok, and I said yes thanks, no problem, and a few minutes later I went down to get some water and I heard mariana talking to the desk clerk about her rates, and I imagine he'll keep her in mind for future guests. I talked to him (Jorge) and he was very cool, said next time it would be best if I came downstairs with the girl, it just makes everything easier, they don't have to hold the girl while they call up, they don't want to wake you up either.

One funny thing happened. I had 3 100 Sol notes, some of which were left over from my last trip to Peru, where at a money changer I was given a false note.

I kept the note but forgot all about it, and that's the one I handed mariana. She immediately starts chewing on one end of it, which makes me laugh, but when the paper starts to disintegrate I said hey, stop that!

That's the best way to tell if it's false she says, and that bill was the false one, and I was confused at first as I had taken money from the cash machine, but then I remembered the false bill from the last trip so I gave her a good bill. Now I have a false bill with the end chewed off, LOL.

It's a lot easier to test false bills by looking at the colour change in the numbers, but I guess in the dark these girls learn other tricks. I'm sure that's not the first false bill she's had passed to her!

Random notes:

Nice looking girl handed me a flyer for Enmanuel Club (maybe should be Emmanuel, but that's how it's spelled on the flyer) Av Brasil 952. It says 'A1 Girls' and that they'll pay moto taxis 3 soles to bring clients. No idea if it's ok or not.

CheChe told me she does a striptease on Friday and Saturday nights at a discoteca called Asia. Mariana said it wasn't the best place, Noa is better. Asia is not a nightclub, it's a discoteca that just has a short show a couple times each night.

Had chili at yellow rose. Waaaay too salty, just average if you ask me. Not just 1 tout out front, but 4 or 5, all trying to get you to go to a different part of the same restaurant, bizarre. Totally indifferent service as well, and in the end I am overcharged, which might be an innocent mistake, but hard to see how they don't know the price of a bowl of chili, I imagine they sell more than a few. I won't be back, instead I'll go to:

Karma café has not bad thai food, salads and sandwiches, it's about as good as it gets here I'm guessing, which isn't saying all that much, but nice if you want an ok curry or tuna melt. Good report! Keep your eye out for a beautiful 5'8" Charapa with big tetas wearing a Cafe Z shirt. Answers to the name Adele. If you see her please send her back!

If you did not get the apartment yet,"C" is looking to rent out his for two months. Probably $600. 00 all in, but no internet!

I'm leaving in a few days. At the hotel should I ask for a rear back room. Front upper floor room or where? Looking for QUIET and ease of bringing in chicas,

Also I LOVE a good massage. Can anyone recommend anyone there-with or without additional services (eventhough additional services is a plus!)

I hope to post some pixs!

Thanks FRED.

Fred, at Hotel Maranon upstairs and away from the street are the quietest rooms. It makes no difference where the room is a far as chicas, they all have to check in at the front desk.

Having been to Iquitos 20 times I have never heard of "KOA" and "frio al fuego". Where are these places at?

Pinche Gringo
05-16-11, 03:59
After sending in my last note, I realized I had been to "frio al fuego". It is a floating restaurant in the middle of the Itaya floodplain. Very over priced food and not very good. Sure, if you want to impress a local girl it may be good to go. But I for one can think of better ways to spend my money on the chicas.

I checked with one of my friends in Iquitos, he tells me that the locals call KOA "COA". COA is just a place to hang out, dance, and sun bathe.

Well. Arrived in Iquitos on a Saturday. Sorted acommondation on Sunday and met a chica on Monday morning.

Just gone to the local shop for some bananas. Struggling with spanish when this girl asked if I needed help.

Spent the next 2. 5 weeks getting BJ's and giving russians every other morning after she finished school / college.

They start early in all respects.

Funny only went to Iquitos to do the tourist ayaschusca thing. Whats the meaning of life, who am I, are we all.

Just taking the [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140). Til I met this peruvian school / college girl. Did ayaschusca once but the physical effects were

Tough like being hit by a bus. Might also have had a viral infection.

Any how the choice of puking and shitting oneself for spiritual enlightenment or having a beautiful girl play nurse

To your morning glory meant the puking / shitting went by the spiritual wayside. I must still be an unenlightened

Heathen but very happy heathen none the less. Managed to pick up a bit of spanish too.

Had only two other non-pros experiences while there. Both arranged by a pal of the acommondation owner.

A poor average by anyone's standards.

First was C. 18 yr old with a great body. Sadly she was doing it for the money and wasn't into it. Managed to

Down 3 large rums beforehand. Performance can only be described as that of of a 'dead fish'. Very poor.

Even a 'dying fish' would have moved but not C. Paid S / 150. 00 knowing I was the one getting screw.

Second was A. Short 18 yr old girl with a real happy character to her. This girl was just bubbly all the time.

Loved life and loved fucking. Either that or she had ADHD. Spent 2. 5 hours doing pretty much everything we

Could think of. She left a very happy camper and eager to meet again. Damage S / 60. 00. Did bump into her.

In the middle of the day on prospero calle but didn't have the spanish / english to arrange a meeting.

For someone who considers himself a greenhorn to mongering and wasn't intending to do so on this trip it.

Turned out to be a pretty positive few weeks all round.

Conclusion: You could be having a hoar of a time in Iquitos with the local girls if you have basic spanish.

The ratio of girls to men is 4. 1 according to some. So the non-pro action is as good as your efforts

And spanish. Didn't bother with the pro's on Plaza de Armes but was quoted the gringo price of S / 100.

Suggestion: For non-pro action try putting an advert up on the ICAP university notice boards for spanish.

Lessons or offering english lessons. See how many responses you get. You never know.

Dear Jungle Hunter,

You do hunt in many places!

Sorry didn't get to say goodbye. A motorcarro was outside to go to the airport.

I do hope you enjoyed the bottle of rum with no mama's to guzzle it on you!

Enjoyed your company and hospitality. Will be raising a glass to your health and future parenthood to wish you the best of luck on that front.

Re the student. It may well break if it hasn't already been broken. I believe the jury is still out.

Well you can appreciate its all down to mama. So as you know its not the phone number but that "shopping list".

You just have to buy those groceries! The bag of rice sugar and gazola. The list you were very happy to keep reminding me of!

You might just do that. Make a clean break from the existing two shops and buy organic if there is such a thing.

Regardless, I wish you well in all adventures.

Cheers,

Del049.

As a largest city in the Amazon region of Peru Iquitos can offer some good options for a wary traveler and it will not cost you a fortune. Don't waste you time on around Plaza de Armas with SW, they looked scary and get a tricycle to go to Las Divas. Area around Las Divas is not nice, so mind you bag on tricycle, sit in the middle of the seat and get a driver you would consider reliable. I always try to hire older guys. In the private room at Las Divas it will cost you 100 soles, but place didn't look very clean. Take out is far more expensive and will cost you almost double 180 soles, but you can enjoy in on your own turf and all hotels are friendly (except luxury ones). Agree on all prices before takeout. Selection was 5 girls, all about 5-7, none higher then that.

You can find plenty of places to stay within 2-3 blocks around Plaza de Armas. 2-3 star hotels that will be GF and offer a decent room. Wanted to stay in Maraņon, bu it was full and I didn't have the reservation. Yellow Rose of Texas is a good and friendly restaurant just a block from Plaza de Armas. You can meet western expats there if you want to get the most recent pulse of the city. You can try casinos around Plaza de Armas, but I didn't see any working girls there, albeit it was late at night.

In summary, Iquitos is not a great place to monger, if you are here, then you had something else on you mind. Lima has far better selection and services.

Rtw monger, I always enjoy reports from my favorite jungle city. Never been to las Divas. I have found the best / easiest choice for chicas was the motocarro drivers that hang around the front door of most hotels. Get to know one and they can produce some real quality chicas for only around S120 total delivered to your room.

I guess the real questions are how much time do you have and what kind of budget are you on. Anything less than a week. Ten days I would stick to only one objective (I was there for 3. 5 weeks). If you are on a low budget then definitely stick to a single objective.

Only had one ayaschuasca experience with ron wheelock (the gringo shaman). Not the most expensive but genuine enough for me. Some would argue its not an authentic option. He doing this a long time. Consequently, not in a position to compare or offer alternatives. He does offer retreats with basic facilities or any number of ceremonies you wish to do. You could contact ron wheelock via his website / email. He is pretty helpful and knows alot of the curraceros. Didn't feel any obligation to him even though I postponed a couple of times. Humming bird was one of the retreats mentioned as its expat curator 'Jim' had worked with ron previously and was there on the night that I did his ceremony.

Would recommend you check out the ayaschuasa boards and forums first as there are many providers both individuals and retreats.

As regards experience the above ceremony with ron wheelock started at 9pm and finished 4. 4.30 am. You are sitting up right on cushions on a concrete floor in near darkness for this time. Purging (pukking) and possibly shitting yourself. You are required to bring a torch, bogroll and loose fitting clothes (pj's). The drink was dark and rough but digestible. He is know for his strong brew. Was still buzzing after the ceremony I. E. Feeling and seeing electricity leaving or going through my body. Was physically knackered by it. Just weakness. It took me 2. 5 days to recover.

Would recommend subject to time and budget you do one or two ceremonies spaced over a week to see how you react or cope with it (physically). This no doubt is the reason why the ceremonies are spaced over 2-3 day intervals and done over the period of 2 weeks to a month or more by the retreats.

Mentally the experience was not negative. No terrors or haunting or guilt or what people deem to be negative. Spent most of it in an amusement arcade killing clowns (my demons). One other in the group (there was 9 in all) said they had experienced this before. The more ceremonies you do the more depth or into yourself you go. But cannot speak from experience. Hence most people do a good few ceremonies. The average was six for the group at ron wheelocks that night.

San pedro cactus. Did not know about this and not sure if this is available in iquitos. More research on boards / forums required.

If the above doesn't appeal then plan be. Mongering. I guess the number one advantage is speaking spanish. If so you are ahead of the game. If it is true that there is a higher ratio of women to men and given that peruvian women will talk to us gringos then your well on your way. Where? From what I understand. The following was correct in may 2011.

Pros are on the plaza des armes after dark. Other locations can be confirmed by the expats in iquitos.

Pros / non-pros / amateurs / gringo hunters / curious or all things can be found strolling down the boulevard overlooking the river. Take a pew with a coffee or beer and observe the masses.

Options for non- pros but game. All the retail staff from waitresses to clothes shops as they make only 100-120S per week. All the ICAP university students who will exchange english for spanish lessons. Stick up a notice and see. Or take a bus round the town and sit beside a pretty girl to chat too. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Bars. The Camiri bar down on the river (its also a hostel and restuarant) owned by Marcel. Have a chat with him. Its a nice place to chill out away from the main drag during the day or night. More up market is the Karma bar owned by english chap Stace formerly of Ibiza. Has good tunes and vibe. For the older expat brigade there's Dawn on the Amazon bar / cafe owned by american Bill (elder of the expats and knows everyone) for drinks with the expats, info, food and bouelvard watching.

Clubs. NouNou and or Voce bar if your into loud dance music / can't hear anything / expensive drinks but want to see some pretty why girls (and their boyfriends showing off). I lasted about 15mins in there. Theres another club with local live bands 15S cover charge attended by marrieds / family / friends and few pick ups. As I'm over 40 clubs are not my thing and have rarely worked for me. Las Divas don't know as was never there.

Pros. Up market would be hotel lobbies and down market the plaza des armes. See other threads using motorcarro as agents. Possibly the quickest way of doing things.

Accommodation: would recommend the hotel El Colibiri. 40S per night for a single. Cheap and in the center of town. Good first night or two to get your bearings. For a weekend to chill out with good food and a pool the Fitzcarro house about 1. 5/2 miles out along the port road 250S per night for a single or just go there for a drink and lounge around the pool to impress the girls. Longterm (month plus) find an apartment.

Other. Try www.perutops.com If you have spanish and can do some ground work.

I hope this helps.

Regards, Del049.

A good observation Dickhead! Glad you raised the point. In hind-sight you may be absolutely correct. (I suspect we all pay by one measure or another.)

Then again I am a green-horn new to mongering which was not on the agenda this trip. That in itself may be provide some enlightenment.

On the issue of the report. The article was not finished before posting and was saved using Ubuntu. It does funny things to one's script. I am still learning!

Regards Del049.Plaza 28 was dead a couple of years ago when I went back, but in its heyday (pre 2004) the place was a veritable goldmine of earthly delights. Seldom did you have to pay more then 50 soles for a very memorable experience.

The staff at the hotels in the area were very helpful as well. I recall arguing in front of the hotel with a nubile provider and turned her down because she wanted 80 soles. I don't think the good times are back, but this crackdown can't last forever, eh.

Just got back from 2 weeks of travel in northern Peru (Trujillo, Chiclayo, Chachapoyas) , but no opportunities to 'punt' this time. Did hear from more than one Peruana (civilians) that the women in Iquitos were 'jungle-hot' and 'ready to play'; apparently legendary in Peru for their friendliness and overt interest in gringos. Seems they are all looking for that 'Great White Hunter' to take them out of the jungle, at least according to my 'Nortena' amigas. (My BS meter was going off at this point) They also mentioned the favorable (for us Mongers) female to male ratio, something I've read about on this forum elsewhere.

So is all this just Peruvian 'myth' or are there truly that many Pros, Semi-Pros, and Local Amateurs in Iquitos? I've been to Peru several times, and though I've had the opportunity to go to Iquitos a while back, I had to pass. I do love this country, the food, the culture, and THE CHICAS. This thread has little actionable intel over the last year or so, but if anyone with recent experience can give a half-way plausible update on Iquitos, then that's where I'm goin' next.

Maybe I should add that I am well over 6 ft. and very 'Anglo', so I already know I'll stick out like the 'tall poppy' and will draw some attention, appreciative, perhaps, and otherwise, but I can handle all that. But I DO speak Spanish as well. I'm well aware that at my age, I'm not going to catch any 19 year old spinners in the discos, but I can keep up with the best s*t those hardened pros want to throw my way and truly enjoy the chitter-chatter, 'negotiations', etc, with ALL the damas, professional or otherwise!

Thanks, in advance, for any general info you Gentlemen can provide.

I have heard same story from local friends, they state that "charapa" girls are really into "friendship". You just have to compensate them inviting for food or buying some clothes, lingerie, shoes, accessories, perfumes, etc.
As a matter of fact I think to organize a short trip to Iquitos next time I will be around.

Thanks, in advance, for any general info you Gentlemen can provide.I was in Iquitos for the fourth time this last March. Iquitos is just as hot for chicas as it is temprature. Yes there are many women looking for LTR and STR. The quick and easy are the pros and semi-pros that stroll the boulevard and just off the boulevard on the street by Ari's Burgers, always two or three pros there. The boulevard itself usually has semi-pros and parttimers. It all starts around nine o'clock or after. These are in the S100 or less for an hour or so. The quality goes from so so to some real cute 18-19 yo.

Your best bet for pros is to make friends with the taxistas that hang around the front of your hotel. I have found that they know the part timers that do not go to the boulevard. My experience it they are younger and cuter than the street girls, they also cost a little more, S125-150.

I have been going to Iquitos for six years and have developed relations with hotel receptionistas, tourist guides, store clerks etc and stay in e-mail contact with them and have a ready made date when I arrive. This of course takes more time, usually a dinner or date or two before they are willing to jump into bed, but I think this effort is worth the time and money it takes to develop. I personally like them to stay all night and have a little fun before they have to go to work the next day.

Iquitos is full of beautiful hot chicas. I personally love the city and the vibe. The quality and number of chica is just the icing on the cake for me.

By the way I am not a thirty something, more a middle aged relative well kept guy with limited conversational Spanish.

Anyone here got any recent intel on chica friendly hotels in Iquitos? Hopefully around the $50 night mark.I have stayed at many hotels in Iquitos and they were all chica friendly. Never stayed at ElDorado Plaza, but they are way more than $50. The Maranon is close to the boulevard and is about S100 per night, clean, AC and a pool. The New Gran Maranon is a few blocks farther away, new and all the Maranon amenities but much nicer for just a few soles more. Chicas just need to have a PNI to leave at the front desk. La Posada de Lobo is another good choice if you want to get farther away from the plaza and boulevard and about the same price S100-S150.

Hi all,

I've just booked a flight to IQT and I leave in a few days, I've yet to book a hotel. Can someone please tell me if it's a high risk strategy to simply turn up and ask for a room or should I book it before hand? Often the prices quoted on the Internet are inflated for all the gringos booking from home and often I find it cheaper to walk right in. I guess it depends if it's high season. Can anyone give me a few hints? I was looking at the hotel Maraņon that someone here suggested but the price has gringo'd up 30.

Also. If there's anyone else going to be up there that would like to catch up for a drink and a chat you can PM me.

ok i've been here two nights, a tuesday and a wednesday.

first night i was too tired to do much but i did spend a few hours drinking on the boulevard just people watching. apart from 3 or 4 women who were clearly hookers, and ordinary ones at that, there was mostly families and teenage couples hanging about. of the solo women or small groups of women some of them may have been on the make but they may have been ****, and i am not interested at all in any chica of questionable age. they need to look like they're at least in their early 20's before i'll even talk to them.

next night, much the same on the boulevard, nothing really of interest to mongers as far as i could see, except for the ordinary looking hookers previously mentioned.

i did get given a couple of flyers for tittie bars, one is emmanuel, on av brasil 942; the other is bandido, on pevas 219.

after i finished drinking on the boulevard about 11ish i ran into a local guy that had somehow befriended me earlier in the day and we decided to head to bandido. the guy on the door was honest and said there was nobody there yet so we went to some disco not far away. inside there was mostly locals, apart from some fat gringas, and few solo women. my new friend new a couple of the solo women in there and i later found it they were p4p. they were nothing spectacular. the best in there was a local chica who kept making eye contact with me and smiling at me when her local boyfriend wasn't looking. as much as i'd love to have slipped her my number, it wasn't worth getting beaten up by him and his big mates.

because of the lack of action there we decide to go to a tittie bar called las gattas. don't bother with this place. it was deserted except for about five chicas, the best of which was at the most a 6 and they wanted 250 soles for an hour, take out. i laughed, then left.

on the way back into town the taxista offered to bring down a few chicas. he made the call and two of the four he bought down were acceptable. they asked for 200 soles but i said no way, so they dropped the pride immediately to 100 and i said deal. unfortunately none of them had i'd and my hotel strictly requires it, and fair enough too, so that on didn't work out.

at this stage the back pressure was building in my pants so we headed again for banidos. inside there were a few people and only about three chicas unattended. i soon found myself in the company of a nice chica, about a 7, but quite bubbly and friendly. i asked about the take out rate and she says 250 and countered with 200 soles for 2 hrs, which she eventually agreed to.

so off we trot to my hotel, and lo and behold this chica doesn't have i'd either! what is it about these chicas and not having i'd? surely they know they're going to need it? so anyway, the doorman says no way and with the back pressure continuing to build we head off to some short time hotel.

in there she's got here gear off in a flash and straight down to business. the sex was quite good and she was happy to do anything i wanted. after i finished though she starts putting her clothes on and saying she's got to go! wtf? i told her that we agreed to 2 hours and it took a threat to go back to bandidos to complain to change her mind. round 2 was ok but after i'd finished i figured there's no point keeping her longer so we went our separate ways.

overall, there is definitely lots of eye contact and interest shown by the local women toward gringos, everyone from the receptionist and cleaning staff at my hotel to the waitresses in the restaurants, i just haven't managed to convert as yet. let's see what the next few days brings.

For the last couple of days I've been a little off colour from something I ate, but in the interests of keeping this thread current I mongered on.

As mentioned earlier there is lots of smiles and lingering eye contact from all manner of chicas here, but there are obsticals to be overcome, at least for me. Firstly, some of the look awfully young and I am notoriously bad at judging chicas ages in Peru. If I'm not certain they're at least 23 or over, I just won't chance accidentally ending up in bed with a 17 yo, and the potential fall out of doing so.

Second is having the opportunity to get these chicas alone to talk with them or invite them out. For example, one of the waitresses at a cafe on the boulevard definitely seems interested but between her boss and other staff lurking around and her being busy there's been no opportunity to get her one on one. Maybe I need to grow a pair and ask her anyway but I don't want her to have to have her employer knowing what she's up to.

I'm only here for a few days and I have no doubt that you'd do very well here if you let it be known that you were here for a few week. Like in many countries, most girls are not just after a one nighter.

The boulevard and the street beside it can be hit and miss. Last night there was only 3 or 4 average looking pros, however the night before it was a smorgasbord. That night I saw at least 10 that I would have done and spoke to 4 of them, again, none of them had I'd. Not sure what the problem is there. Anyway I tookl a really cute 23 yo to a short time hotel and strangely she asked for the cash up front. Hmmm? Ok.

After a few mins of DFK she drops to her knees and is giving BBBJ for about 20 mins after which I tried to rip off her knicker for sex. She says no, and I ask why and she says problema. Aaaaahhh! Don't tell me this chicas a tranny! Nooooo! So I ask her straight up if she is and she got really offended so I stuck my hand round front (on the outside of her knickers) and had a good feel, nothing unusual there, thank god! That can only leave 2 possibilities. She has her period, or worse an Std! Yikes! She said she would do anal or BBBJ with CIM. I chose the latter. So I should mention that that one cost me S100 and she paid for the room 10 soles.

About 1 am last night I went to some big outdoor disco called something like inferno and there was a Colombian band playing there with smoking hot dancers on stage. There were about 500 people there including some hot hot chicas, but mostly with their boyfriends. There was definitely an over abundance of blokes there so I'm not sure about this supposed man drought in Iquitos. Despite being the only gringo there I felt completely safe and there was loads of security staff to keep things in order. I believe the place is open Thursday thru Sunday and there was a similarly big place not far away. If you have more time it may be worth a look. A moot taxi there cost 3 soles.

Thanks for the info.

For the moment I decided to stay in a hostel dorm for 20 soles a night as I found that going to the chongos was the best way for me. I pay between 13-15 soles for a wham bam thankyou mam experience and am happy with that for now. Its open from 7pm to 2am and costs 1 sole by bus or 4-5 soles by motokar. Its about 20 minutes from the city centre. I have been visiting it everynight for the last 4 days. Stops me from drinking and fruitlessly chasing women in bars / clubs and means I can stay in a cheap dorm room and not pay 100 soles for a private.

There are several hotels around the 60 soles mark (single fan room). They do discount the price if you ask most of the times. Hotel Europa, anaconda, la casona, el colibiri,

I came to do ayuhasca for 2-3 weeks and am 'stuck'here for another 2 weeks before my flight leaves Peru. So rather than be stuck in an expensive city like Lima I decided to stay in Iquitos. Gym is 3 soles, meals 7. 5 soles at the supermarket. There's not much to do if you look at the surface but over time you discover things. Island / beach in the river, exploring the forest, butterfly farm.

The girls. It took me a bit of time to understand the scene. But I have not yet cracked it. I have been repeatedly told by locals that there are about 5 girls born to every 1 boy born. With temperature at 29-30 degrees celsius (very hot and humid) the girls wear practically nothing! The girls I have been talking to (introduced to me by the restaurant female owner I eat at) openly told me that men here have a wife and several girlfriends. And its ok. Whereas if a woman did the same. She would be called a prostitute. It is accepted in their culture to have this setup. So much so that when you marry a girl. She often offers you her friends to sleep with and have another family with due to the lack of men in the place.

The girls I was talking to told me straight up that the girls here are horny all the time and love sex. I believe that. There is not much else for the locals to do! I remember travelling on the road to the forest (a 100km journey). Seeing HOT, but youngish, chicks. Wondering what to they do keep themselves busy.

Later in the night the city centre plaza has SWs (some / many are transsexuals / transvestites). They charge between 80-100 soles for 60-90 minutes. A lot of the love hotels around the place can also arrange a girl for 100 / soles onwards.

I have travelled to pretty much evey country in the world and was truly surprised by the beauty of the Peruvian women (the men thankfully are not attractive as I have been told by the ladies). I would rate it as number two after colombian / brazilian women but number 1 if you are looking at personality as well. The colombians are a little stand-offish and superficial.

Yes you have to speak spanish well. No exceptions. The few times I have managed to speak a few words of spanish I have been SUPER surprised by how receptive and open the women are. I am constantly being asked whether I have a girl-friend or not and they are looking at me with those deep doey eyes. I can't speak spanish beyond that so the conversation kind of ends.

Hey all,

I need a little help. I plan to go to Iquitos with a girl who hobbies. We've often had trouble picking up chicas together, because the girls either don't understand that we are looking, or aren't in to couples. We're both really good looking and young, but that rarely helps in this hobby. Does anyone have any regulars that can hook us up with while we are there in early October? Or, does anone know someone who runs an agency, or "that guy" who can find you anything you need in Iquitos? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

One month rate is S50 per day for a one bedroom, AC, WiFi, bath with hot water and daily maid service. It is next door to the Columbian Embassy. They do not have a website. Guy and horny but no experience in Mongering. Feb 14 through 20 devoted to girls and sites. Could use.

Advice on best place to stay during first week in the mid price range near where the women are located. I don't.

Speak spanish, not much practice in picking up women but a quick learner. Women in the 5-7 range is ok with enthusiasm. Basically any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Would hiring a local guide to steer me right be a good idea the first day? The hotel would be clean, decent beds, girl friendly, and thievery not a problem.

Cheap w****houses for the locals. Out near the airport, past the fire station. Believe me all motocar drivers will know it. IF it still exists. Should. There are, as I remember. 4 different locals. The best charge a sol or two to enter. I wrote about it here: http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?2807-Iquitos&p=541082&viewfull=1#post541082

Gentlemen, I hope this post will help you navigate the city of Iquitos, which in my opinion is an excellent city for the hobby. My great experiences in Iquitos was made possible from previous posts on the Peru and Iquitos forum (which I am very thankful for) , and I am simply summarizing / confirming that information. I have also peppered this post with my own experiences:

-TRANSIT-

A taxi or mototaxi (basically a rigged up motorcycle with a dual wheel anchored seat in the back, common in iquitos since it is difficult to import 4-wheel vehicles there) from the Airport to centro should cost no more than NS$10 (I paid NS$10). It is about a 35 minute ride. Taxi rides within the city / centro costs a mere NS$2, no more than NS$3. I never had any problems with taxis or mototaxis.

-HOTELS-

I stayed at the Hotel Maranon (Fitzcarrald / Nauta 289) and in my opinion this was a pretty good hotel considering the part of the world it is in. It has AC, hot water, a restaurant, a pretty good breakfast and a pool. The service was very good and it was GF. I recall it being about the equivalent of $40 USD per night, and worth it.

-STREET SCENE-

I read a report that upmarket pros frequent hotel lobbies and the downtown market at Plaza Armas, however, I did not see that in my case. Perhaps I was perusing the area on the wrong days. I do not normally do the street scene, but since this is the jungle, I decided to see what things were like, just to see. Anyways, the SW scene is not recommended but according to previous posts can be found around P. Armas starting around 10:30pm and along the river-walk promenade (malecon) between calles Napo and Nauta. According to previous and excellent posts, NS$100 seems to be the standard asking price, negotiable down to NS$50. It seemed that the scene at the Malecon (riverwalk) and the Plaza de Armas is irregular. A piece of advise from the forum members: Beware, always I'd the chica, even if it makes you uncomfortable asking.

-CLUBS-

I went to two clubs. First I went to Bandidos (two blocks north of Nauta, don't remember the name of the street, but walk up Fitzcarraldo and take a right two blocks from nauta and it is on the right, opens at 11). I arrived at 10pm, so they were not open yet. I found a mototaxista and asked him to show me a decent club with mujeres for FS. He was very friendly and helpful (it is a good bet to use the knowledge of the mototaxistas to find action here) and took me to a club in the middle of the city about 15 minutes away from the Malecon. The club opens at 9pm and was an OK place. The mujeres were actually pretty darm good-looking, however, amazingly, the 4 chicas that were there were of mostly of european decent (not what I came to iquitos for) , were friendly and attractive (2 were slightly overweight, but in a good way).

Anyways, I finished off the beer that was included in the very reasonable entrance fee and left. I returned to bandidos, which had just opened, and there I found a true jungle GFE. Had a beer, paid an exit fee that included 2 hours of FS with her to the club for NS$200 total, and left for the hotel. All I will say is wow! We exchanged numbers so that I could see her without having to go to the club and we meet thereafter on several occassions. Proof that the "YMMV" saying really does apply. After the first night, she insisted that I not pay her anything, that she simply wanted to be with me. She was so good that I had no interest in sampling any other woman during my stay, and left very happy.

Although, I feel obliged to temper the experience with a dose of reality: My excellent GFE encoutner here in Iquitos would not have been possible without a bit of luck on timing and the fact that I speak spanish. The women here, while relatively poor, are not desperate, and after witnessing how things work here, I simply cannot suggest that anyone will have a similar experience here unless they speak very, very good spanish. Nonetheless, with enough money, I suppose anything is possible. But GFE isn't normally accomplished with money alone. You simply must be able to speak spanish here. Or you may languish here (just my opinion of course).

-BARS-

There is a bar / restaurant called the Yellow Rose, owned by an American. If I remember correctly it is a block south of the Plaza de Armas, and only a block to the west of the Malecon. This place rocks, has character, the beer is subzero cold, the food is excellent (american comfort food that is) and the service from the various cute chica employees was outstanding (and most speak english!). I never went to any other bar after finding this gem. I met the owner, and he is a really interesting guy.

-RESTAURANTS-

I went to a number of restaurants, and one stands out above the rest. It is on the Malecon on the corner with Nauta. Pretty much anything on the menu is superb, homemade, and just all around excellent cooking. But patience is required.

-SIGHTSEEING-

I would recommend the Centro Artesanal Anaconda (Malecon why Napo). It is a Craft market on stilts above the Amazon river and has some pretty damn interesting things in it.

There are many interesting sites outside of iquitos in the jungle, but I will limit this to the city of Iquitos, as the forum suggests. Cheers

Thanks for the report on Iquitos,

I went there once last summer with a chica from there who I met in Lima. Stayed with her family al fundo, and saw a lot to like about the place. One question: I did stop in the Yellow Rose with her and the fam. For dinner and the bar caught my eye as a possible place to meet chicas for fun on a future visit. Was that not what was on offer in your experience? It looked like a perfect spot for Iquitos ladies to find foreign custies. Si o no?

Gracias,

When me and my buddies were there the restaurant / bar was just that.

There were no chicas hanging out there.

Please, whatever you do, stay out of the Yellow Rose. The owner is a real sleaze ball and his well known for treating the street children like dirt. I, for one, have avoided this place. And have been going to Iquitos since 2002. I have witnessed hi beating one kid with a stick so badly that it drew blood.

There was a restaurant upstairs in the Iron building where a couple of old geezers (guys my age) had a gigantic family with kids rolling around on the floor etc. I chided them for fathering babies at their age and they were totally happy to inform me that their families would be well provided for after their passing by Social Security survivor's benefits. Everybody there was pretty happy and I loved to hang around and talk with them. That was about five years ago, so I don't know if they are still there or if in fact the kids are now drawing SS!

Pinche Gringo has asked me about my report and I was certain I had posted it. It might be age related, but I recently discovered I had not. My sincere apologies.

I stayed at Gran Hotel Maraņon. Not very grand, but a decent hotel. Clean and well maintained. No lift. It is on Loreto. If you walk down to the river there are several cafes with tables to sit and eat / drink at. I sat close to a small group of attractive chicas and after a bit asked if anyone spoke english. One did and I asked about the town, etc etc etc. She ended up sitting next to me and was almost on my lap. Eventually I asked if she wanted to join me for a drink back at my room and we left.

I do not recall $$$ but it was not much. Once in the room she was soon undressed. Had a good time. Unfortunately I searched my computer and couldn't find the pictures. There is a nice 'walk' along the river and you will find some chicas on the prowl.

While walking around at night (seemed very safe) I was approached several times, but was just not in the mood.

I found the people friendly and happy. Not a great mongering location, but if you are willing to look, you will leave with a smile on your face.

The people are somewhat poor and do not charge a fortune. No stunners, but you will have a good time.

Thanks!Iquitos is very easy, just ask any motocarro driver and they know all the casas. There are some out toward the airport. I've never been but they are rock bottom, probably around the 20 Soles you ask about. There are also nightclubs all over that have girls and rooms. I don't know the cost but probably more than S100. Most of the girls on the malecon and plaza have short time rooms to go to but again more than S20. Malecon and plaza will run S60-120 plus room. If you can't get laid in Iquitos your not trying.

El TeleTroca is not the only brothel in Iquitos. Peru. Nearby there are four more. They open at 6. If you are lucky you can find good girls, but go early, because when it becomes night you can't see the girls because the lack of light. In Teletroca you pay 2 soles for the entrance but for the rest is free. The Price is very low: 13, 15 or 20 soles, Kind of 5, 6 and 7 dollars. Other alternative I'd going to El Pardo and CNI where there are girls looking for the action if you look from the Capital Lima or you are a foreigner you can do it. Dancing is a good point for you. Dancing is their language.

thanks to those who've posted about iquitos. i'd gotten a half-award, half-paid ticket to lima and, as it was my third trip to peru (had been to macchu picchu on my first, natch), i'd decided to pop for the $130 rt on starperu to check out iquitos as the side trip this time, for 5 days or so. had done this not even thinking it'd be a monger-able spot, and didn't think much about that until checking this board just before the trip. wow, maybe that'd be something to try as well...people were saying i might be bored spending 5 days in iquitos (was on a budget, and doing the amazon thing via daytrips to see if it merits something more extensive on a future trip).

sure 'nuff, i heard from two separate taxi drivers in lima all about how the girls in iquitos were reputedly wild and ready to go, the male-female ratio, etc. and all i'd said was that i was going to iquitos.

night #1: got in late afternoon, just walked around to check things out. malecon very brightly lit, and police box there manned at night. not much happening, but passed by a few sws who might be on the make. low numbers with that, though (as in maybe 10 or fewer). a section of street across from ari's burgers seemed to be a favorite spot, it being between the malecon and the plaza de armas. i never saw any police heat or concern about that, but otoh it may be a turf battle to keep the public areas as "family" spots, as many people will come out on saturdays and sundays, especially.

night #2: had more energy, was going to do the recruit-the-trike-driver bit. a clerk at one of the tourist-oriented gift shops (there aren't that many) had offered to help set me up with girls and i'd filed that as a plan be. but then the best-candidate sw from the night before, mariana, walks up to me and starts with the grabby bit. she'd wanted 100 soles ($1 is about 2.77 soles) the night before, the standard opening, but i settled on setenta (70), which may be overpaying, but she was in the 7 range, probably late 20's and better-looking than all the others i'd seen.

i think my hotel, the la casona (just a half-block from the plaza) was technically ok with vistors as long as the girl had i'd, but it didn't have that mongering vibe that some places do, so i decided to see what the st places looked like. mariana had one she'd go to, on the east side of town maybe 3 blocks north and 6 blocks east, at 15 soles st. very basic and run down as you might expect, but at least you'd get a fan and a small color tv with a porn channel.

mariana did a good gfe but was just too loose and too dry for me to finish. didn't feel like possibly getting chafed on a hj so i didn't push that. maybe a blue pill would have helped.

i should mention my spanish is better than average (for a gringo), having studied 5 years in high school and then had 30 years to forget. it's easily overwhelmed by talking too fast or throwing in a key word not in the vocabulary, but it's serviceable.

night #3: jose, one of the trike drivers who often hangs out around the central hotels, offers to take me around. he speaks better english than most do but turns out to be a mixed bag. place #1 is one of the "titty bars" in some part of town well northwest of the plaza and not what a visitor would likely run across on their own. there's a muddy square that can be used for parking and one of the other bars on the square is named la luna, if that helps. admission for mine is something like 3 soles or so. it was 10:30 pm and only two other customers in the place, which had 2 levels and a pole but still that tijuana grot. two large beers were 25 soles. a girl came over to talk...maybe a 4-5 and large, with a butt that must've been about the same size as kim kardashian. she gave me a lap dance and i bought a lady drink at 10 soles. she wanted me to go for the fs at 150 soles but i wasn't interested, and i'm sure the price was inflated by jose being around. it being a weeknight, things weren't getting much busier very quicklyand i saw only 2-3 other girls (similar 4's and 5's), so i had us leave. then they want 3 soles for the trike parking!

then jose showed me a disco, the one on fitzcarrald a few blocks due east of the plaza, that was fairly popular. those venues have never been productive for me, and having a cover charge was reason to veto it. jose was getting annoyed. i called it a night with him and he wanted 45 soles for 90 minutes, but that seemed steep and i gave him 27 and he was ok with that. i think he was a bit biased toward commissionable types of things.

night #4: decided to try the brothel village. would ask mototaxi drivers with phrases like "teletroca" and "casas de chicas" and get blank stares, and had to go through 4 of 'them before getting someone who knew the place and would take me, for 10 soles. it involved a trip along the main road toward the airport and almost that far. to make it a bit more actionable, it's on a muddy side road that's a right turn off the main road (a. quinones blvd. is the main road). it's maybe 700 m down the side road, i'd guess, with no signage or visibility from the main road (i.e. another place you won't just stumble across). just do what i did and don't take a trike unless the driver insists he knows where it is.

the teletroca is the place charging admission (now 3 soles), and some names of others (not charging) include las cucardas star and la chispa del amor. they'll have a long rows of rooms on both sides with an inverted v-shaped roof over the whole place and, as was mentioned, not much lighting. the girls stand in the doorways to their rooms, but maybe because it was friday night there were only 3 or 4 out at any given time for 25 or so rooms, and they weren't exactly stunners. and they didn't look too motivated, either...some locals would get up close and they'd look away or look uninterested.

so it was an interesting cross-cultural experience and a bit unlike any place of the same function i'd been to before in other countries. most houses had a tv or two in the front or in the common areas showing not only porn, but usually the culo-penetrating or a2 m kind, i.e. really raunchy stuff, uncovered of course. must say something about local tastes, or maybe thanks to the internet the softcore stuff won't cut it anymore (seethe "overlogging" episode of south park). mostly for entertainment of waiting trike drivers or people who worked in the front.

went around the various places and finally found a semi-motivated one (i.e. one standing in the door that really wanted me to come in), who of course looked much better in near darkness than with more light on her (had no flashlight, but some others did and there's truth to girls not liking that). was maybe a 4. she said she'd do the oral at 20 but pushed a 3-hole upsell at 50 but settled for 40. i didn't really negotiate it well (being unfamiliar with how things worked there). they want "la plata" upfront and hand it off before providing service, as in nevada. i didn't like that much but wasn't going to fuss over that amount.

anyway, it was the super-rushed amsterdam kind of experience, with 2 or 3 guided positions that didn't get the angle or buildup right, and then she basically called time (way too early, it seemed like, but i should have thought to negotiate that, i suppose). a big negative factor i hadn't even thought of that was working against everything was having not even an electric fan in the small, dirty room. none of the rooms i peeked into had that, despite the oppressive heat / humidity combination. heck, even the low-end places in thailand and cambodia usually at least have fans. without that you can sweat a lot in the still air, making concentrating on the task at hand that much harder.

so overall i would not recommend the brothel village unless you're on a really, really tight budget and can get off a shot quickly (which gets harder to do as you get older, and of course condoms are a must, but you really need to bring your own). don't expect to see any stunners, either. it's basically a more organized version of the zona roja in tijuana...cheap and rushed but probably not that good.

* * *.

as the main purpose of the trip wasn't mongering, i didn't try as hard as maybe i should...a real trooper would work the contacts to try to get the semi-pros sent to the room or soldier ahead with the discos, aiming for the younger, occasional ones looking for money for the latest samsung galaxy or something like that.

still, having been quite a few places, i'd throw some cold water on iquitos as a mongering destination simply because the sheer numbers aren't there compared to, say, the philippines, where you can go to manila, angeles or cebu and see literally hundreds of strong possibilities in any given night. i saw maybe 15 total sws in all the time in iquitos, and if every room in the brothel village had someone on duty the total might equal 2 bars in angeles. am sure you can do ok with patience and persistence in iquitos, but compared to that the asian places are much more of a stocked lake. there are good reasons to go to iquitos other than mongering, but i wouldn't go there with mongering as a primary reason.

My secret in Iquitos is to use a local go between. These are guys who the girls know and trust? I have found that usually they are.

Gay guys about 20-28 year old.

I have no problem with gay guys as I reason they leave more girls for me?

So the MOP is.

Local guy finds you the girl and you tip him generously for his service and he will want to keep supplying you with your requests.

Show the girl a good time and pay her well and she will speak highly of you to the local guy and he will keep providing you with.

More girls.

So the story now is how to find a go between / The local guy?

I have visited Iquitos many times now say 10 + times. And each visit there seems to be a new local guy willing to help me out which suggests there are a few of them?

Forget the local gringos they are all married and not allowed out to Play so that means they usually know nobody or if they do they.

Don't like too share.

I usually go to the boulevard on the water where the bars are and look for a young Peruvian guy with 2 or more girls hanging around him.

Catch his eye and offer to buy him a drink the start talking.

Say something like judging from the amount of girls you have around you, Girls are not a problem for you?

Can you present me with a local attractive girl say 20-25 years who likes gringos.?

Normally they have no problem and they call someone or present you one of the girls with him..

I pay / tip about S /. 200-250 for TLN for the girl to the girl. I like to pay the girl in the morning after the service is provided. I usually show the girl a good time say Dinner + Drinks at a bar. Then they will report back to the local guy that you are fun to be around.

And he will have no problem supplying you with new / more talent including his sister.

I also pay / tip the presenter (local guy) discretely about S /. 50 for his introduction.

Then arrange a time in the morning to meet him for a drink the next day for a post date discussion and then tell him what you.

Would like for that evening.

Say something like well she was good but I like them with. Say bigger tits or sexier / more experience or younger or what ever you want.

Give him a few hours and meet him and the new girlfriend at say 7.00 pm And then pay / tip him again s /.50 discretely.

This system works for me and if you are there for say a week. After 2 or 3 days the local guy seems to know what type of girl you.

Like and everyone seems to be better than the last.

Sly

I have been coming to Iquitos for 10 years now; I spend two or three months a year in Iquitos. I spend most of the time around Plaza de Armas and the boulevard. Too many tourist police walking the area. Keeps the chicas away. Even the trannies are not out; They were always fun to sit down and talk to. Even the "night clubs" have been getting harder to work. There is a new "high class" place in Iquitos. Women there want $100-$150 for their time, not soles but good hard American currency. The lady drinks are $20 each. I long for LA.

I enjoyed reading Slys account of finding a go between for chicas and will start to employ this technique tomorrow. But today I wanted to write about finding small (what I thought at first were Chongos) nightclubs place deep inside some a few of the barrios here. I'll describe one, but several that I have found appear to operate along similar lines. The places are small but obvious as you drive the neighborhood. Some kind of colored lights outside and usually some vapid dance music playing inside. They are very dark, almost no light. A central hall runs down the middle and off of this corridor are a series of curtained off rooms with couches arranged in a "you" shape. No cover, and a medium pitcher of beer worth 2-3 glasses was 25 soles purchased from a small bar at the back. The chicas all find you at the bar and play around to get you to sit with them in the curtained off areas where there is a little more privacy. Hands and mouths get busy enough to get your attention with the goal to get you to take them out to your hotel for some "fukey-fukey". No bar fine as such, but the fare of 150 soles includes the house cut, which means that after your first session with them, you can get their numbers and deal directly for some savings. Last night, there were 10 chicas working this small place in all shapes, sizes and ages. I opted for a trio with Claudia and Angie, and I must say they were quite the "1-2 punch". Trios work sometimes when the two chicas know each other really well. That was the case here. I found another such nightclub, a little closer to the hotel. I think I will try it out tomorrow. Got to rest up and get my strength back. The girls here can be very sweet and very ardent lovers, the right ones are not shy about their interest in foreigners either. More soon!

Hello Fiestero,

Good to read your recent report here in Iquitos, we're doing a jungle tour this week and took a moto carro around town for a scout yesterday. As you had mentioned only a couple of small nightclubs in local barrios etc. The streets were with good lighting and quiet, felt safe. I think one club named "chicas de la selva" was very dimly lit and not much aircon flowing, only few chicas looked decent while others lying around on couches unmotivated. Our driver took us to another local that was near an open air concert arena called "complejo" that was mostly groupies dancing together. The discos in downtown were packed with very young locals and standing in lines to get in, was surprised to see so many in small town. The plazas were packed with mostly kids and people walking about and watching street entertainers. My Spanish is good so going to give a try with Slys "go-between" tech, see what shakes along the boulevard probably best place. There were only couple so-so chicas sitting on benches toward end that wanted to engage with the quiet "hola" gesture. Everyone seems very friendly a bonus!

Everyone seems very friendly a bonus!I ended up finding all manner of company in this town. So it is not as bleak as the earlier reports might indicate. All of the ladies were at least very good in the sack, and made one feel like "you are the only guy in town". The usual mix of hardened pros down to looking for a foreigner to marry and take them back to the States or wherever. Regarding the girls, I heard about a scam running here where the girls are in cahoots with a policeman. Once it's been determined that you have partaken of a certain pretty young things offerings, they shake you down and split the proceeds by threatening jail time, etc. So beware. Always check ID's and if she seems too young, she more than likely is too young. The problem is the girls all dress like, well, girls. And they seem to ripen at an early age there. Some of them are very precocious, and they dress to get attention. There seems to be by rumour a relatively high amount of HIV floating around, so when they offering sex without condom for an extra 100 soles, please politely decline, and not risk exposure. You know, the usual drill. The girls are a sexy mix of Latina / Asian. Michelle could have been Catherine Zeta-Jones' sister. She was going to charge me 150 soles per hour, but as we got busy, she suggested TLN for an additional 100 soles. 250 for TLN, and she was exhausted and walking bow-legged in the AM. Definitely good value I reckon. The gay guy with harem approach can work there. There are lots of gay guys and they all seem to have photos of gorgeous girls on their phones. Sometimes this works, that's how I met Michelle. You will find them as I did through friends, or by simply strolling the Malecon of an evening. That place is thick with hot looking girls. Many of which are available para llevar. Just wave them over and chat them up. Check her ID though, because there are lots of young cuties there that will get you in trouble if you are not careful. Just around the corner from the Malecon facing onto the Plaza de Armas, is a popular corner were the SWs congregate. I did not partake here, but there were some great looking girls of all shapes and sizes. My buddy from IQT and I decided to go chat them up and was told that the fare was 100 soles per hora for full service in your hotel. Some of there girls looked pretty rough, but they were doing brisk business with drive up customers in Motocarros hauling them off at a reasonable pace. It started to rain as we were watching the action and the girls all packed together under an awning facing the plaza. Police would stroll by and did not react to their presence. BTW, before I forget, the Hotel Sol de Oriente, on the main road out to the airport is girl friendly, so so breakfast, but the rooms are big and if you are going to have company, the beds are firm, jacuzzi tub and swimming pool to entertain, for $50/ night. It's far form the downtown action, but I found that to be manageable. It is very quiet and private there. I'm sure there are others.

I will be back there in late June, so I will report again, on what I find. Anyone in IQT or planning to visit, hit me up and with my resources I can help you get oriented and off to a good start. Your trip to IQt would need to coincide with mine; roughly the month of July into the first part of August. I am thinking about organizing a "Slyone" style party there during my stay, so if that sounds interesting, let me know! The girls all sounded excited at the idea of meeting more foreign gentlemen.

Sorry for the long delay in getting this out to you all, but life got in the way temporarily. You know how it goes. Well, let's get right to the good stuff. Iquitos is tricky. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of incredibly hot looking girls earning extra cash there. One girl I met, absolutely delightful, poised, well spoken, cute as a bug with perfect body, the body of a 20 year old harlot, and she turns out to be 15 years old. Damn she was fine. But no, I wasn't going down that road. As tempting as it was, the whole blackmail thing was not happening to me. You know she might have just wanted me as regular and wouldn't take advantage of the fact that the age of consent is something north of her real age, but hey. There are many other fish to be had. So I went out to a Night club like the one I described in a previous posting. I was early getting there (10) and not all the chicas had shown, but found what seemed like a perfectly good one for my tastes: petite, tight as a mouses asshole and well, very professional. We exited to my hotel (the hotels all check ID for age) and she turned out to be pretty hot to trot, but she was also a clock watcher and when the clock struck one hour, she did not care if I had had my fun yet, we were done. Disappointing. The next night I hook up with a friend for some beers and a Disco crawl. It was kinda boring. Lots of hot girls, but again we were out too early. One of the keys, especially when you go to the Night clubs, is to hit them around 1-2 am after the girls have been drinking awhile, had 1-2 custies under their thongs, and were not so intent on sticking you with buying more pitchers of watered down beer for 25 soles. (they make 8 soles per pitcher they sell) they are then just wanting a place to crash for the night and why not with the last custy of the night? She might get a breakfast out of the deal. Same goes for the Discos, the advantage is that in the discos the girls are a little older, the disadvantage is you can't hear a damn thing. So, I ended up taking an invitation to sleep at my friends ("the player") house while his cousin was out of town. He is 21 years old, and his place is like a waiting room for young girls. A constant stream of chicas coming through that place wanting to get banged by this guy. So I am thinking, this could be fun! I end up living with him until his cousin comes back from Lima and wow! It was not boring! Cute girls would knock and ask if he was home, and I'd say, umm no, but I've got time for you, and off we'd go! It was like chica pizza delivery! I mean isn't that the ideal? Hot girls coming to you and wanting sex? I mean wouldn't it be great to order chicas like you order a pizza? Delivered hot and ready to eat to your specifications? Tell me I'm wrong. Any way, It had to end, but it was a fun 9-night run. Back to my little hostal near the Plaza, and the first night I walk around the corner and bam there are SW every 40 m down the block, ufff, some cute ones. I say oh dios mio, I wish I didn't have something lined up already, tell you what if she cancels, I'll be back. Walk around to the main promenade and literally run into the most gorgeous, made up, lipsticked, tricked out, work of art. Lady boy. She / he / it was stunning! We chatted for awhile she wanted 100 soles plus room 15 soles plus taxi 4 sole, but I'm sorry honey, I said I heard a beer calling my name. Three beers later, I walk back to the plaza and the SW are gone, but Ari's restaurant is open and I feel like getting something to eat. I run into an acquaintance, Juan, and tell him my sad story, about just wanting to find a good sexy girl, non pro, maybe a single mom, who needs some extra money. No 15 year old who won't know what they're doing anyway. Someone with a Little more experience. Etc. And he says let me call Ericka. Her son needs medical care and she is a good girl and very sexy, not a pro. And she needs some help. I said, perfect, when can I meet her? I'll call her right now, but people talk too much in this town so sit across from us and I will buy her a drink and have her sit where she can see you. Haha! This is going to be fun. And oh my! Turns out she's 21 and curvy, and large breasted and ready to go! WOW, talk about luck. I told Juan the next day, I would tip him generously if he can find me more like her. When I return in July, I intend to find out. So the overall message about IQT is, it takes some doing, but they are there! If you find yourself in IQT from mid July to Mid August, hit me up! I may be able to get you off on the right foot, and at least buy the first round!

I will be holding a party this month just outside of Iquitos at a friends Lodge. Very private! I will be supplying the chicas, and the lodge will water, feed and house you. If you are thinking this sounds like it might be your "thing", please PM me or details. I arrive to Lima next week, then off to the Selva. I have a group of German perverts coming in at the end of the month, and they will be taking up most of the spaces for this first party. So act fast, if you are thinking it's time to find out about these jungle girls. Each party is limited to 8 persons. There will be a second party later on in August. I am thinking maybe the 14th, 15th 16th, before I need to return to Lima.

The bad. My trip to Iquitos was cut short as I picked up a bug that could not be dealt with there, so I had to return back to the states. After a few weeks of strong antibiotics I am starting to get better. I became very complacent and ate at places I should not have.

The Good. I did get to do a lithe mongering. I usually do not eat at Ari Burgers but I am glad I did. I like to flirt with all the girls at the restaurants and super markets I go to. Usually the girls are a little shy but this one girl at Ari's flirted right back. I gave her my number and low and behold she calls me the next night. I invited her to my hotel and we spent a few hours drinking wine, chatting, and had a great time expiring each others body until the morning.

Moral of the story. You never know where you will find the ladies.

Well, life got in the way, as it does many times, yeah? Well, I am back and will report in further detail shortly. Tonight is my friends birthday party and he doesn't know it yet, but I got him two hot charapitas for a trio as a gift. But we have been making regular rounds of the night clubs and Discos. And we just got back from a week in Leticiaa Colombia. WOW. Highly recommended. Like IQT, it takes a little doing, but it is ultimately worth it, with a heady mix of Colombianas, and brasileras- something for everyone. Last night, Halloween was particularly interesting with legions of mini-dress clad hotties on parade. Those legs just go up there and make asses of themselves.

More than anything, I wanted to apologize for being out of touch over the intervening months and will be posting more regularly going forward. I am Planning a party in Iquitos with 8-10 chicas for the night of the Sat. The 14th. Three to four hours of " all you can eat". With 8 girls. I need at least 4-5 guys to keep them all happy, if you are considering attending this, you have a little time but don't delay. Peruvian has RT flight LIM-IQT-LIM for $86. If you can't find those fares on your own, message me and I can get my Travel agent to work her magic. A good 2 star hotel will run $35 with Air. And if you want to stay the weekend and require more company we have "our ways", or simply get the cell numbers from the ladies at the party. 3 day / 2 night packages. ? $125 gets you into the party, it's then up to you to have fun.

If there is enough interest, I can rent an entire jungle lodge and close it for private parties. Stock the bungalows with horny Jungle girls and you can have your pick. If you are an open-minded fun loving girl reading this, well. Message me and let's talk. As I like to say, anything is possible. Maybe all you need is a guide to the hot spots here?

Saludos,

Some of them are spectacular. Right next door is Arica an Italian place, and the upstairs girls are extraordinarily friendly.

Sorry to hear about the illness. Probably something you ate, rather than someone you ate, but regardless, it sucks either way. I hope you have recovered. I am very careful about eating and drinking here. And washing my hands, a lot.

Be well and hope to see you on your next visit to IQT.

Hi all,

I am closing out another business trip to IQT, and must say this one has been enjoyable to say the least. Good food, good people, good business and whiplash worthy cichas make for an attractive mix.

The weather has been nothing less than perfect the whole time. I love the rainy season here. Well I love rain anyway, but then when it is raining nobody feels like going out and so when that happens, you get bored and look for something to do inside, and that means sex. My guess is that more babies get their start when it is raining than at any other time. Couple that with a healthy dose of heat, humidity, thunder and lightning you get heady, sensual mix. Then to further cause problems, put a bunch of horny, sexy, attractive 20 year olds with raging hormones, both sexes are on the hunt, in close proximity to each other and SIT BACK AND WATCH THE FIREWORKS.

The young girls mature precociously in this climate of sexual tension. 15 year olds look, and act and smell like 20 year olds. This means you have to be extra vigilant when out at the disco.

More soon,

A friend here once told me, that living in Iquitos is like living on an island where everybody is into everybody's business, they want to know who is having sex with whom and then talk about it with everyone. You see these very complicated family groupings where two people shack up and have a couple of kids together, get bored, stray, get pregnant by someone else, split up, shack up with he new person and have a couple of kids with him / her. So it's almost like everyone here is semi related to each other. My room mate speaks a little guiltily about fucking his Prima (who is really hot) but it's all a show, they will pretty much shack up with anyone that is attractive to them. And why not? THis town is packed with young eager teens and Twenties on the prowl, all the time.

My roommate is a 21 year sexual athlete / babe magnet / serial monogamist. He is absolutely in the right place with right look, at the right age with the right attitude, and girls literally chase him for sex. If he worked at it, just a little he could have multiple partners every day for weeks and not repeat. My role is to make him look good, which I do in spades, by being 55 years old with just OK Spanish skills and really no game to speak of. I just don' t try that hard, maybe it's time to step up my game a little. He does well introducing me to all kinds of Chicas, but they all want him, or some other cute 20 year old guy.

So drive around Iquitos of a sunny day, and it is quite obvious that the women here dressed proudly of their femininity. They dress like they are girls, which god love 'them, I appreciate very much. And they stare back at you without any hint of shyness, until you start a conversation, of course. The High schools here have this very nice dress code for the 15 -18 girls, that consists off a tight white button-down blouse, and a navy blue mini dress. White socks and black pumps. This alone has caused me to reconsidered a career in education. The 15 years olds already are stretching those blouses noticeably. And they are looking at men and boys alike with a certain interest. They become sexually active young here and I see what appear to be 15-16-17 single mothers with small children. I know at least 3 30 year olds here whose oldest daughter is starting to date. Go to certain discos and the young girls and boys are all out having simulated sex on the dance floors. They are called Chibolas- sexually active teens. You need to be very careful here. There are some scams running, I am told with certain smoking hot, girls and their policeman- boyfriends. I shouldn't have to spell that one out for you- ask for an ID if you are at all uncertain. Personally I prefer women to girls, and freedom to jail.

Selva girls are noted for being very amorous lovers, and I can attest to this. Many of them are small in stature, which is also my preference. But they don't have very open / dirty minds. They love to fuck, but if you are looking for real perverts, I would stay in Lima. They don' t like to be photographed or videod unless they know you really well. The girls working the Nightclubs here are mainly from out of town. Too many people talking about your business to be in the sex trade in your own town.

You will find everything here from Streetwalking girls, and trannys (lady boys are absolutely gorgeous- if that's your thing) dig a little ways in and there is a network of ladies who make extra money on the side from sexing with extranjeros. They are not hard to find, except you need to know who to talk to. The Nightclubs range from delightfully dievy hovels where most everything is on the menu, and many have rooms available to see to it, you get what you want with a minimum of fuss, to low rent strip club affairs that offer dancer shows and a hostal next door. The girls are available para llevar also, should you prefer your dish served as room service in your hotel. The Chongos out by the airport looked like fun, although that is not my thing. Simply walking the "Boulevard" of an evening bring results too, and the Discos are well stocked with semi pros on a weekend night.

The eye candy quotient here is just startling, Just the sheer density of cute girls is really amazing. Then you begin to figure out that unless you want to risk certain activities, most of those are off limits. That doesn't make it any less fun, that just means you have to work a little harder to find what you are after.

More soon,

Fiestero.

Many of the young gay guys run with groups of Chibolas looking to make extra money with sex.
