Well, your reports are just plan bull.I have been to Victoria, before the new owners and also after.Its not going to do well because it that location there is business for Japanese but not that many farang. People are not going to want to walk there as its a bit far in the heat, and taking a taxi or motorbike is not "simple" enough for most. The flight was almost on time. There are so many choices out there but Bangkok Marriot is far away from the "action". You need to go in the Shukumvit area, easiest way to do this is a tuk tuk or taxi or the shuttle boat from your hotel to the BTS (Saphan Taksin) and then you take the train to Sukhumvit (you change in Siam).I am not into the massage places very much but my last experience was in Gheisa (search the forum) and it was good. I've visited also Aviva and I can recommend the place. I used to go to Tulip but I've abandoned the place due to low hygiene standards (girls and rooms).
