Tulip, Snow White, Mango, Cherry are probably not typical of the norm in terms of size of the lineup early in the afternoon.
Examples. In the past it would be very unusual if Gaew at Pink was at work already at 2PM. Normally arrived somewhat later. DHM definitely has an early shift and a late shift starting at 6PM. Yorimichi has more girls arriving late afternoon.

My observations at Cherry's confirm this. I got there about 15:00 or so. Three ladies were available. I don't know if other ladies were there but occupied, so to speak; but I didn't hear any grunting and gowning at the the beginning of my session, though the noise level from outside my room did pick up as my session progressed. When a left at about 17:30 there were three ladies in the lobby, three more out front, and I could hear noise coming from a couple of the other rooms.
Aor told me Annie's ladies work 11:00 to closing and a 16:00 to closing shifts on alternating days, seven days a week. I always got there about 16:00 and there were always at least a half-dozen ladies in the fishbowl, plus several rooms were occupied.
As for the Thai-centric soapies, what I was taught is consistent with your advice. The Thai gentleman who introduced my to them years ago said to get there early (17:00 to 17:30), watch for a girl you find appealing and grab her as soon as you spot her.
It also depends whether you're talking about a weekday or weekend. My only bad experience at Nataree came on a Saturday where the place was absolutely packed with what looked liked Asian tour groups. I doubt there's any good time to arrive at Nataree on a weekend.

I am recommending the 6PM to 6. 30PM time slot for Soapies in general, regardless of which day I go there. Saturday maybe be busier and possibly be in full swing a bit earlier at a Soapy due to some guys not working on Sat afternoon, however 6. 30PM is a pretty good time on Saturday too. There are plenty of superior girls NOT showing up really early in the afternoon. Really late is bad as only the dregs are left over. When I can ring my favourite girl, I would simply ask what time she will be ready and book for that, which could be 4. 30 PM or 5PM. However if I have no girl booked I would prefer to delay a bit more.

My experience is all of these soapies are friendly enough, though some of the ladies have no experience with farangs and may be uncomfortable with you at first. The papasan (mamasan) can help you avoid an inexperienced lady. Poseidon is okay, but not my favorite. I don't think there's any reason to avoid it. I've always gotten a BBBJ there.
