PSE, no surcharge, but you need to ask which girls do A+ (seems to be necessary everywhere these days except Tulip).
Also on soi 24/1, Boss massage is worth a look. Not the same "all-inclusive PSE" concept, but they'll show you written cards with everything each girl does clearly listed (for example two pops or anal), so you don't need to guess or ask around.

Depending on where I am staying I have a set hunting path for massage places. I start on 7/1 and do a walk by woodbar and chrome bar. If one of my regulars at woodbar spots me I tell her I was checking to see if she was working and that I will be by later. Then take the BTS walk over to cross suk and down soi 6 to check kassalong and lols then out soi 8 and up the escalator to BTS and down to phrong phom. I walk 24 and 24/1 then exit on 26 and check sw. If I see something I like at SW then I go for it since I like the A+ service and I know that on average all the other service will be better as well. This whole circuit takes less than 30 minutes and lets me see what is on offer for that run or others. My first trip through this netted Candy at SW. I swear I took her a few years ago, but now I am not sure. It all depends on your activities in the country. If you come for holiday for just a few days you don't need to tip them, except to leave a small change (no more than 10 baht) in the restaurant, or give 20 baht to the regular massage girl just to help her out.
The thing is different when you're staying a longer time in the same area and mostly go to the same places because you consider that they treat you well.
I always tip the regular Thai massage girls (40 or 50 baht for a one hour foot massage) except if she was lazy or annoying, I tip only the restaurants that I go to frequently (less than 20 baht), I tip the taxi driver if he's been nice and I sometimes tip the waitresses in bar if they were nice (20 baht).
Personally I realized long ago that I enjoy more my time when I give small tips to the people that were genuinely nice with me. I don't mind not carrying too many small coins with me. A taxi driver keeping more than 9 Baht of asking for a tip I would consider rude; it's just not customary here. If I have lots of heavy luggage the driver helps with or he has to wait somewhere because I need to go get money from an ATM first, I give 20 Baht.
Hotel: I give 20-40 Baht for the luggage boy and leave 40 Baht for the cleaning ladies when I leave the room.

If have been taken there once many years ago on Soi 1. Could be 20 years ago plus. Was old house, I think on a day when these places were officially supposed to be closed (forget why or the details). The girls were old or ugly too. I did not partake. Can't say if its still there, but others report it still there I guess.

They might be a better bet if you really need relief next to a hospital but I can't see why you wouldn't just walk round to soi 4 or take the BTS, taxi or moto to Phrom Phong.

Only because a taxi driver or tout wants to take you there, and potentially get his nice commission. The place turned out to be a dump (back then as far as I remember without seeing the actual rooms), while they might show glossies that come from some other Soapy MP elsewhere.
I think only time I entered Soi 1 in many years was in a taxi taking the divergence through Bamrungrat hospital to get round the one way traffic rules.

If you're looking for hotties in MPs, one that isn't mentioned alot is Club 102, its located just off a small side street circle off Soi 24 right next to the well regarded Addict Massage (Addict is good), and a few other MPs are right there. Club 102 offers a killer selection of really pretty ladies (you'll be surprised how good), but the service for me has always been bad. Its nicer, but pricey and only 1 pop. Its the opposite of PSE, its a hot chick who doesn't care, but whatever you are into.
