Get PCR test day before entering Thailand.
The hotel driver picked me up from the airport, drove straight to a Covid test site to do my PCR test, then delivered me to the hotel. I had to quarantine in my room until they received my negative result which they called my room to tell me (took about 6 hours). I can then go out. I checked out the next morning and went to Pattaya. I was also given an ART self-test kit at the test site which I had to self-test on the fifth day and uploaded to the 'Morchana' app (like Singapore's 'TraceTogether' app.).

Download 'Thailand Pass' app, register and get approved. Very fast and easy, much easier than Singapore's system.
Buy Covid insurance of at least US $20,000 (was US $50,000 before March 1) for your entire stay in Thailand.
Book an 'SHA+' hotel with airport pickup and PCR test included. I booked my SHA+ hotel for 1 day via Agoda.com.
Get PCR test day before entering Thailand.
The hotel driver picked me up from the airport, drove straight to a Covid test site to do my PCR test, then delivered me to the hotel. I had to quarantine in my room until they received my negative result which they called my room to tell me (took about 6 hours). I can then go out. I checked out the next morning and went to Pattaya. I was also given an ART self-test kit at the test site which I had to self-test on the fifth day and uploaded to the 'Morchana' app (like Singapore's 'TraceTogether' app.).

Funman13.I would add to this get a hotel near where you want to stay. I chose the Novotel at the airport thinking that the transfer would be simplest because you can walk. I still had to wait for a shuttle for the 90 second ride to the hotel and tomorrow I will have to pay for a taxi.
I was worried about finding the shuttle but when you come out the door after Customs they have table with signs for all the hotels. Couldn't be easier.
I should have taken a hotel near Term 21 looking back.

I guess the men I know here are quite a bit different than the men you know, as the vast majority of them use condoms for intercourse not only for their own health because they respect the health of the girls and the punters that are going to come after them. It's weird how no condom use has become normalized on this board. It does no good to criticize members for not following what other members may consider to be safe sex practices for the following reasons:
It never serves to change any one's behavior.

It almost always leads to arguments.
It provides a "cover" for Serial Antagonists to provoke other members.
To address the usual arguments:
If a guy wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's his risk and his business.
If a girl wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's her risk and her business.
If YOU want to protect yourself from either or both of the aforementioned parties, then YOU should use a condom for sex all the time and thus YOU will be protected from the allegedly unsafe sex practices of the other parties.

PREP is more effective than condoms to prevent HIV infection. It must be used properly though, daily for the girls being mandatory, while both on demand and daily are effective for punters.
Further a girl who is infected by HIV and on PEP (not PREP), and keeps her viral load under control (near suppression) represents no risks at all either.
So, jumping up and down chanting "use condom, use condom, use condom" is a bit ridiculous IMHO.
