Now on the part where you talk about not being in Bangkok to take photos. This is a rather lame excuse. In this day and age, anyone with an iPhone can take very nice and realistic photos. They can be emailed to you for approval as well. Being a lover of the Onsen experience mostly while visiting Japan I wandered into Pudara Onsen a short hop from my hotel on Thonglor.

If I recall, the prices ranged between about 6,000 and 12,000 baht for a 90 minute session.
