La Ceiba.

I was there in '94. Back then I was 37 and spoke spanish, and even so, it was not easy to meet amateur or semi-pro Honduran women. There were a number of older pros. They started out at the Cafe Verde, and as the night wore on they moved on to the bars near the beach. I was not too wild about the pros, but I sampled a few. One night I was with a black girl and it was a very good experience. Not wild and crazy, just a good fuck. I used to hang out at the Hotel Paris. Near the beach they had some places, one foreign-owned place I think it was called German's or Herman's. Lots of hoes hung out there. There was a dance place a little further down, I can't remember the name of it. It was filled with young people, native Ceibans. I went to Black and White's a couple of times, it had a more native feel. Near the beach, across the street from the first dance place I mentioned, was a sort of a stand that some women would hang out at, not all of them seasoned pros. But it was suprising how hard it was to get laid by a non-pro in La Ceiba.

There was one guy there that maybe someone here remembers. He was older, about 53, and a retired US military man. He supposedly had achieved some fairly significant rank in the US army, and I think he had been wounded. He had some sort of pension. He married, I mean married, a morena from La Ceiba, and they had at least one kid. He had other grown children in the US that must have been wondering about their crazy dad. His wife in La Ceiba didn't pay much attention to him at that time, I don't think they were getting along too good. He was pretty much an alcoholic, he used to get just crazy drunk and then try to ride his moped home from the dance bars along the beach. He supposedly had some at least honorary rank in the Honduran military, one time he helped a local restaurant owner get his stolen truck back pronto. That guy was drinking himself to death. Does anyone know what happened to him?

In another post I asked about Jim from Fort Myers, the lawyer from San Diego, the dude from New Orleans. If anyone has any info, I'd be curious as to what happened to my old fellow mongers.

Woo hoo we have our own area.

Now Chess Cat on those guys don’t sound familiar but then back in 94 there was a lot of gringos in La Ceiba. Not all of them went bar hopping like me. I still have a lot of friends down in La Ceiba and can pass this info on to them

What I like about La Ceiba is it’s a laid back place. If you look around you can get laid. The hotel Paris, I didn’t like, price is too high. That’s the one near central park. I like hotel Flamingo. Close to all the action. I remember when they used to have condoms in the front lobby. Last time I was there every so often a hooker would hang out in the lobby. Usually cost me 200 lemps for them.

Corndog,
Maybe you can help me remember the name of the hotel I used to stay at. It was quite cheap. I was several stories tall, an older place. It you were looking at the Cafe Verde, and the ocean was behind the Cafe, then it would be to your right about 1 or 2 blocks, and one block farther away from the beach side. The name Hotel Granada comes to mind, but I don't think that is it. I think the rooms had fans rather than air conditioners. I'm not familiar with the Flamingo.

I never stayed at the Hotel Paris, we just used to gather at the little outside cabana bar there about 7 in the evening. How is La Quinta Inn? It's a little far away from the action, but it was a pretty place back then. Where is there to eat in La Ceiba? Are there any bars you like to go to near the beach?
One thing (among many) that I recall was that in the central park in front of the Hotel Paris they had what you might call a shallow alligator pool made of cement, it had alligators and turtles. Then I came back after a month or more away, and the turtles were almost all gone, eaten by the alligators (I suppose).

Life is cruel in Honduras.

“But it was suprising how hard it was to get laid by a non-pro in La Ceiba.”

I find that the hotel clerks are usually the best bet, but shoot they get snippy when you bring hookers back. I think one of the worst lays I have had was the motel manger. No touching no oral, man on top get it over quick. Also waitresses and bartenders. Those are usually semi pro. The older ones usually give decent head. If you hook up with a gringo that lives there, its so much easier. Their GFs know tons of women who would like to met someone decent. I have a bud who does work for us aid or something like that. He did a lot of work in La Ceiba. He was seeing a lot of the local gals and every so often he would get a hooker. Now the hookers knew where he lived and every so often would show up at 3am, drunk and loud. Of course sometimes he had his GF sleeping there. Of course all the women know who the pros are and he got into some hot water there.
“There was one guy there that maybe someone here remembers. He was older, about 53, and a retired US military man. “
Was he a bear of a guy? I remember one guy who was a colonel. Nice guy, his name is Ed. Heard a million stories of what he does down there. There are a couple of retired armed forces people down there.

“He was pretty much an alcoholic,”

Well that’s about 95% of the gringos I know down there.

“Finally, there was a younger guy, in his mid-forties, who operated a restaurant-bar near the stadium, I believed he moved his operation to one of the islands. And there was a fairly nice restaurant sort of like a fancy tree house, with hamburgers and a TV, operated by some Canadians, I think.”

He and his wife are still there. Their bar is called “the ex pats”. Its anything but. Mostly locals go there. Met them once, it’s a good place to buy cigars. Went there once, had a few drinks, no hookers. He doesn’t let them in. pain in the butt getting a taxi back to town. They were trying to sell it but no takers. Running a bar is not a dream job.

I am still waiting on the other info about other guys. La Ceiba is a big merry go round. People get on, people get off.

One time I was on Gordos having a rum and coke. There was a woman and some guys were yelling at her at her to go away. So she comes over to me. Missing half her teeth, hair had not been combed in days. Wearing the same clothing for days, boobs were flat and hanging down to her belly and the best part is SHE STANK like crap. She asked me if I wanted to f***. I arched my eye brows and asked are you serious. Then she said well do you?

I was in La Ceiba one week ago. I went there after one year. It was different than before. New bars I saw were Mango Tango, Snake Bar. There was a disco named Crush is closed now. Cherries changed names to Studio 54. Girls were not as good as used to be. May be there were different places now but I could not find them . It was Carnaval weekend. Too many people but very few SW I found. I always stay in La Quinta. It is little far from action but I feel safe there. No problem taking lady there from the back door. It cost about $42.00 a night.

I hope people don't mind our chat about old times. The military guy I remember people said he was a colonel, and he was a bear of a guy. If he is still alive that is amazing. You are right about two other things too. 95 % of the guys are alcoholics. One time I was in Danli, and I was told there was this guy that wanted to see me. It turned out he was this little old guy from the US, he seemed to be living in Danli, retired would probably be the wrong word, he was a tax refugee without resources. But clearly an alcoholic. People ask me when I am going to retire down there, and I tell them that I saw so many "shipwrecks" there, guys who had retired without the necessary dough, and these guys had it tough. Course if you wait too long you're dead. And there were some guys that were more or less happy too. And almost all of them were getting laid, which is more than I can say for a lot of us here in the US. But a lot of those guys turned to drink. I will say this about the colonel, he lived life hard and fast and without regrets.

The other thing you said is that it is like a merry-go-round, people get on and people get off, in La Ceiba.

“The military guy I remember people said he was a colonel, and he was a bear of a guy. If he is still alive that is amazing.“

Last time I was there he was still alive. Now from what people told me he was Special Forces in Nam. He does have a rather colorful background. Loves black women.

“You are right about two other things too. 95 % of the guys are alcoholics.”

I have met a lot of guys who go down there to more or less drink them selves to death.

“People ask me when I am going to retire down there, and I tell them that I saw so many "shipwrecks" there, guys who had retired without the necessary dough, and these guys had it tough.”

I have been asked that a million times, when are you moving down here. I did meet a rich person down there and he said either the people are living well or just barely getting by. To live a decent life in La Ceiba you need around $1200 a month.

“I will say this about the colonel, he lived life hard and fast and without regrets.”

One time when I was drinking with him he told me I reminded him of a buddy of his. He told me this crazy story of some guy he served with and then he said he died in Nam. He maybe crazy but he is not stupid and I heard he is one tough SOB, but he likes me.

“Maybe you can help me remember the name of the hotel I used to stay at. It was quite cheap. I was several stories tall, an older place. It you were looking at the Cafe Verde, and the ocean was behind the Cafe, then it would be to your right about 1 or 2 blocks, and one block farther away from the beach side.”

To tell the truth that sounds like the hotel Caribbean. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get there. When they give you your key its on a huge key ring. Down the hall they have a communal TV room and people say that hookers hang out in there. There are so many hotels there its hard to keep count. Ever see the hotel royal. A long time ago it was the first hospital in La Ceiba. One time Kenny K and I were across the street having a outside beer and I saw all these hookers come out look around and go back in. I looked inside and WOW it’s the scariest place I have ever seen.

“I'm not familiar with the Flamingo.”

Well that road you take to get to cherries disco. Its right there on the corner. Cost about $20 a night and 100 lemps to bring a girl in. its close to the action. I don’t have to worry about walking down some side street to get to my hotel. After a while the hookers show up and wait for me. More then once I came back in the afternoon for a nap and one was waiting for me in the lobby.

”I never stayed at the Hotel Paris, we just used to gather at the little outside cabana bar there about 7 in the evening. How is La Quinta Inn? It's a little far away from the action, but it was a pretty place back then.”

Hotel Paris is nice but yes far away from the action. Also a little pricey. Never been in the La quinta. I have seen it and it looks pricey to me.

“Where is there to eat in La Ceiba?”

One place I like is Massipan. Its close to the park and you can point and pick out what you want. Food is good and cheap. Has a big sign out front. Just walk to the park and look for the sign. Buddies of mine have shown me other places but I can never find them on my own.

“Are there any bars you like to go to near the beach?”

Cherries and gordos (next to Africa dance). The bartender in cherries knows me and I get really good service. Always hookers in cherries. Gordo always claims I steal from him but its done in a good natured way. He tells me this when I am really drunk. Now as you can walk up to the Parthenon hotel and there is a Cayman bar on the left. The people are loud but it’s a decent bar. Some hookers hang out there too.

”One thing (among many) that I recall was that in the central park in front of the Hotel Paris they had what you might call a shallow alligator pool made of cement, it had alligators and turtles. Then I came back after a month or more away, and the turtles were almost all gone, eaten by the alligators (I suppose).”

Well last time I was there, the alligators were gone but the turtles were there. I thought the people ate them.

”Life is cruel in Honduras.”

Oh hell ya. I have seen mothers pimping out their daughters, even have 3somes. I have had mothers try to marry off their daughters to me. A buddy of mine Gene who is in his 60s was going to marry this woman who was 17 and the parents were all for it. Someone warned me that if you marry a woman down there forget about any deep conversations with them. The only thing they are good at are cleaning and screwing.

Hey did you ever meet the French bread maker? That guy was totally nuts.

The guys I knew in La Ceiba:

1. The Colonel

2. The restaurant guy, in his mid-forties back in ’94, now in his mid-fifties. He had an American wife, but he also had a child with a former hooker from El Salvador, and he used to keep a room or something for the girl from El Salvador. If this is the same guy you mentioned, it’s no wonder his wife bars hookers from entering, because she knows her husband is fond of them. I don’t think it’s the same guy, because he liked hookers too much to ban them. He is a different guy from the people that owned the hamburger place in the nice treehouse, I think they are Canadian.

3. The lawyer from San Diego.

4. The guy from New Orleans, whose wife was a Honduran, and she operated a restaurant this guy owned in New Orleans.

5. Another lawyer, I think he was from Texas, he lived down there, had a Honduran wife or very steady girlfriend, he owned a windshield repair business back then in La Ceiba.

6. Jim, from Fort Myers, who had an apartment there. He’d be over 70 now.

7. This semi-crazy former pilot, who was retired down there, he would be in his sixties now.

8. A young biologist guy from Florida, who I think took a girl back with him on a fiancé visa, and then returned her to Honduras.

9. A retired Canadian guy who used to be in the equipment rental business. He actually split his time between Belize and Mexico, but came to La Ceiba occasionally because that’s where one of his wives was from.

I didn’t know the French baker. Massipan was where I used to eat, just like you said, you pick your food out, it’s pretty good, decent prices.

One time I picked up a girl there, when I saw her I thought she had nice tits, but from the other side she didn’t, it turned out she had one large breast and one small one. That was not a good experience.

I think you are right about how much money it would take to live comfortably in La Ceiba, around $1,200 a month.

Talking about the women being good mostly for cleaning and screwing, I don’t like saying this but the girls that you meet on the street or in a bar were really not smart at all. There are probably lots of really educated women in Honduras, but I met some women that if they had rocks for brains they would have been much better off.

I’m glad to hear the turtles won out over the alligators in the park.

When are you going back down?

There are some absolutely gorgeous black women in this town. Unfortunately I was accompanied already and could not enjoy any of them.
I saw a bunch of gringos in Ceiba. Wound one of them please get off his ass and write a CURRENT report on the scene?

Corndog

Yes there are some really wild black women in La Ceiba. I should know. It seems that black women are more willing to give up oral but not all of them.

As in the gringos that live there making out a report. Well they have gone through a life style change and making one would be too much trouble.

When you see a gringo in La Ceiba, ask them where the gringo bar is. Kick back with them and ask a few questions.

I spent about a year in La Ceiba in '01-'02. Banged most of the locals at the former Cherry's and several of the strippers at the titty bar next to Parthenon Beach Hotel. Be careful of the Jennifer (lt-black from Panama) mentioned earlier in this thread. I took her back to my apartment once and she started showing up at all hours of the night, several times, banging on my windows and doors, asking me to pay for the taxi she took to get to my place. Also tried to fight other girls that I was hanging out with. She also got pregnant mid-'02 and tried to tell me it was mine. My favorites were Jenny from Cherry's (hispanic, thin, big tits) and Fanni from the strip club. Although its been over a year, let me know if you need an insiders view.

Maltrufio,

Hi,

Jenny the one from Cherry's that was your favorite was my "girlfriend" for a few years. I met her when she was 15 and she used to hang out at the pool at the Partenon (I knew her for a year before I touched her). I have some incredible pictures of her (in a bikini) from '97-'98. Maybe I'll scan them one day (if my girlfriend didn't throw them away).

She's in Belize right now working at a strip club. She also used the "I'm pregnant" theme on me. I told her she wasn't pregnant but she started getting more and adamant about it as I was getting closer to leaving. I finally sat down and explained to her what a vasectomy was. Suddenly she was no longer pregnant. Besides that she was just a fun person to be around, absolutely no attitude or anything (unless she didn't like you), and completely playful.

The last time I saw her she was all about money. At the same time I had an issue with paying for something that I had been getting for free for awhile. I ended up tossing her out of my room and that was the last I saw of her.

Oh well, I've gotten so many negative reports about La Ceiba recently that I cancelled my yearly trip there and I'm going to Lima, Peru instead.

Michael

Jennifer now if it is the same one I am thinking of. She is a looker, short with a nice rack and squeaky voice. When she is in the bar, she loves to strike a pose like a model. It is almost comical to watch her. Also she has a kid. From what I have heard she has been a working girl since she was 15. I have video of her stripping in my hotel room and shaking her tits. She gave me a decent BBBJ but wouldn’t let me tape it. Yes she has a thing for showing up at your room at 3 am drunk and wanting sex. Nothing like banging a drunken hooker, but it sucks if you have someone else there. From what I heard some guy from Holland or Sweden set her up in a apartment with the idea she would just be for him. Well she thought when the cats away the rat (Jennifer) will play. Well he found out and guess what. Last I heard she met a sugar daddy (another one) and she moved over to Europe with him. I think I have a pic of her somewhere. I will look around and have it digitized and post it.

I was just in Ceiba and found Studio 54, formerly Cherries, has changed names again and no action with girls. It is a restaurant with a bunch of kid playground equipment. I found a SW who was a deaf mute. Cute and not too bad in the sack!

John tell us more about the current action in La Ceiba.

Now I remenber there being a playground just outside of Cherries.

What is it like inside is it just a restaraunt with no bar.

Is the there SW in front of the Flamingo?

How about Gordos across the bridge?

John Holmes
10-05-03, 12:10
It seems Studio 54, formerly Cherries is just a restaurant & bar under a new name. The dance floor is now loaded with restaurant style tables and chairs. The playground equipment looks like it was moved inside the restaurant. I was there on a Thursday night recently and saw no girls. Lots of SW's between Hotel Partenon and Flamingo. The strip club next to Partenenon is still going strong. I didn't know about Gordos. I'll check it out on the next trip. Where exactly is it located ?

Corndog
10-07-03, 18:24
Woo hoo I did it. I uploaded a bunch of pics for everyone to enjoy.

I even got one of Jennifer "hey baby".

I had to go to the local drug store to do it. Had to make sure granny wasnt behind me when I did the nudie ones.

Gordos, the flamingo is at your back and you are walking towards the partheon hotel. You cross the bridge and on your left you see some bars. There is a open air bar right next to the street. That is Gordos.

10-07-03, 18:27
Now I heard that the women who work the strip bar will met up with you the next day for for $80?

StudPlayer
10-08-03, 01:26
Corndog, I sure as hell hope you mean 80 lempiras as I am in San Pedro Sula right now and the most I am paying for the hottest babes is 200 lempiras or about US$13. Get your shit together man and either stop overpaying these girls or wrap the money up in a box with a bow on it. 200 Lempiras is the going price in Honduras.

Corndog
10-08-03, 03:32
Was in that strip bar once with a bud. That is what he told me. The chicks that were dancing were primo. From what he told me, you talk to them and met up the next day. I never never went for it. To me its almost a waste to go to a strip bar down there. I cant touch them and there usually a lot of pussy on the street. Usually I pay 200-300.

Corndog
10-08-03, 14:34
Hey StudPlayer how do you get a 200 price?

Do you speak fluent Spanish? I dont.

Now I do my ***** mongering in La Ceiba. The town is small enough for me to get around and still be close to my hotel. The only problem is sometimes there is not a lot of hookers to choose from. Sometimes I do get 200 but usually its around 300 and I refuse to pay over that. Yes I have thrown hookers out of my hotel room.

Now one of the shitty thing about La Ceiba is all the working girls know each other. If you look at the pics, that lesbian quoted me 500. Now I told her for that I want everything, BBBJ, pussy anal and I want to video it. She said no and we parted. It seemed that every working girl I asked that night said no to me. Now when I see her I just avoid her.

One time in Cherries, I was scoping out the women. A couple of Germans (they spoke German) came in. Dressed nice and when they paid for their drinks they pulled out a wad that would choke a horse and the top bills were 100 notes. Wouldnt you know it all the women made a B line for them. No action for me in Cherries that night.

What I have noticed is. Daytime is usually dead. It starts around 8 and usually peaks around 9-10 and then dies down. But there is action till the wee hours. You just have to look for it. One time when I was at the Flamingo I woke at 3 am. I went out on the balconly to have a smoke and I saw 3 SW in front of the hotel.

10-08-03, 16:39
Regarding strippers - They all will meet you the next day for free or way cheaper than the buyout price at the club. They never go out in the day time, so for them its an experience they don't usually get to enjoy. I took a couple on day trips up Rio Cangrejal or up to Pico Bonito. Also, I paid Patty (strip club next to Partenon) 500 lemps a week to quit dancing and hooking and only do me. I'd bang her a few times a week, so it was a bargain in the long run. I kept that arrangement for a couple of months but missed the variety.

Corndog, loved the photos. Brings back good memories.

Regarding jennifer.jpg - Very good sex, but just too off-the-handle for me. Her constant bitching and nagging made me think we were married and her anticts were too much to handle. Did get several freebies, but still think it wasn't worth it.

Regarding 2amigas.jpg - the one on the far right is Doris. She is one of the best lays I had in La Ceiba, incredibly firm tits and very tight. Part-timer too, you can usually only find her on weekends. She lives by herself in a little shack in the hills to the east of town and does have a phone, but shes picky about who she gives the number to. The one in the middle (can't remember her name) has the largest ass in La Ceiba. I never got drunk enough to dive in. Nothing special on the far left, can't remember her name either.

StudPlayer
10-08-03, 18:03
Corndog, here is how you get the 200 lempira price: "Pago usted dos cientos lempiras por todo por un hora, si o non?"

This means "I will pay you 200 lempiras for everything for one hour, yes or no?" And guess what, yes is usually the answer since as you can see their business is not exactly what you could call booming. (Small joke here.)

If you want to pay 300 that is " tres cientos" and 250 is "dos cientos y media". I won't tell you how to say more because then you would be way overpaying.

And as you mention, yes the scenes in these Honduran cities are small and after a few days you start to recognize all the girls and vice versa.

I am off to Panama and Colombia as soon as the escrow for the sale of my condo in Los Angeles closes later today and I am effin ecstatic to be the "f" outta there.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures boys.

As in me being in Honduras again. Due to the employment situation I am not sure. I will know more fairly soon. If you want my email, just ask and I will post it.

When I do go its La Ceiba and I will give a heads up as much as I can.

Yes Jennifer is good in the sack but shoot you have to listen to her talk.

Now for some odd reason I am not attracted to Doris.

The problem with selecting women is you have to figure out if they are going to be decent in the sack or fight you on everything. One time in the bar I saw this older hooker who was breaking in a newbie and said she had only had sex twice. I started to make arrangement and then that chick who loves to give BBBJ came up and I blew them off. When you hit town, relax and if you don’t see anything now, just wait. Something is bound to come along.

John Holmes,

I will be in Le Ceiba this weekend with a gentlemen from usa if you would like we could chat and compare notes.

Mr Studplayer,

Your spanish is no good, you are not asking the girls for everything for one hour for 200 lempiras. You are asking her if she will pay you 200 lempiras.

The correct way is: "Yo dar usted 200 lempiras por una hora y voz me das todo, NO?"

Just in case your interested.

Remember: Tours of Honduras and guaranteed, just drop a line.

Corndog, I was never really attracted to Doris either, after all, she isn't pretty; however, thats the only defect. She has a killer body and knows how to rock it.

A local gringo who had been living in La Ceiba for a few years (teaching english), told me Doris was great in the sack. So I ended up with her one night because I was horny as hell and the only other options were uglier. She was tight, has nice firm cans, and a perfect ass that she can move like a piston. It was definatley worth it.

Just bring a paper bag and you'll do fine.

Whitelight,

La Quinta is one of the better hotels (not the US chain). I've stayed there several times. Aside from the good, secure, and clean rooms, the back door entry at the parking lot makes bringing girls to your room no hassle. Security never even bugged me for a tip.

Doris used to hang out at the former Cherrys, usually only on weekends. She'll probably be down in the zona viva at one of the bars. I did see her at Millenium once (small bar across the street from Partenon Beach Hotel). The fat chick in the two amigas photo is a good friend of hers and I always saw her at the bars, so if you see her, ask her for Doris. Good luck and post your trip info when you can.

Corndog

Whitelight the hotel I prefer is the Flamingo. Its down by the water front where all the action is. I think la quinta is farther in land. They may not be woman friendly. I know the gran hotel Ceiba is not. I never make reservations. There are tons of hotels there. You If you check the around the bars near the water front you will run into Doris.

Whitelight,

For internet, your best bet is in the mall. Theres a kiosk with a few computers right by the food court. For more privacy, theres also a small place above the software store (mezzanine - access from first floor). Go in the mall door east of Applebees and then its the first door on the right. There are a couple of other internet cafes in the central part of downtown, but the prices are higher.

Taxis are a dime a dozen and it'll be hit and miss if the taxista is a good guide. I can't really recommend anyone either. If you stay at La Quinta, you'll need a taxi, but if you stay at Flamingo, you'll be within walking distance of the zona viva. Or better yet, rent a car. Theres Avis and one other rental agency at La Ceiba airport.

White:

That pic of the black guy. His name is Al. He is usually in Gordos across the bridge. He knows a lot about La Ceiba, seeing as he lives there. He comes across as being a little rouigh around the edges. I have had english speaking cab drivers who gave me their cell phones. Never used them but they are around. As someone said before, taxis are everywhere.

Good to know, there is a short term hotel called hotel coco. They dont ask question and they dont care who you bring in there.

Just got back from a rainy trip to Hondo and had some good experiences. Like everyone has said the local non pros are available and apprciative. My first experience in Ceiba was through a taxi driver Ocha from the port, no English but we communicated. He found me a 25 yo about a 7 for an all nighter. I over paid, it was her first time for money (maybe but I believed her) and she didn't know what to charge. I gave her 1500 Limps.

The second score was at Safari I think. It is just over the bridge turn right and it's on the left. Norma 8-9 was great 800 Limps for more than an hour of wonder ful sex, I gave oral and fingers with lots of excitement and then BB intercourse. She speaks English and was a pro and fun!

I stayed in hotel Ceiba on the main street it was 400/ night. Some of the clerks spoke english. It was clean and with hot water. the associated restaurant was good too, for local food.

All in all I enjoyed, thanks for all the advice from this forum.

OMG Whitelight you paid 800 to 1500 Limps. Normally I pay 200 to 300 lemps. One time I found a looker and when she came back to my room she stripped down to just panties and started to dance and sing f*ucky sucky, long time. She wanted 500. Damn I got suckered. Although that was very expensive she did really work me over. That is the most I have ever paid. The next night she hit on me again. I said nope. I have a non nude photo of her. She wouldn’t let me take a pic of her nude. For what you paid I would expect a drop dead gorgeous and would do anything I wanted, video, BB, no holes barred. One time in Cherries in SPS the dancers wanted $100. Um I don’t think so.

I stayed in hotel Ceiba on the main street it was 400/ night. Some of the clerks spoke english.

I am guessing you stayed at the gran hotel Ceiba. Last time I was there they did not allow any woman what so ever. It is a decent hotel and very safe.

Corn,

You are right, I paid too much, and have no real good excuse. I guess I forgot where I was and compared to the US it was cheap! Next time I will bargin more and not be in such a hurry. Thanks for the nice reminder not to inflate the girl's prices.

You're right it was the Gran Ceiba hotel, but taking girls to my room was not a problem. Although Norma said the woman who owned the place didn't like her and she left more quickly than I wanted because of that, I think.

Anyway she was a hottie.

If I continue to go there I hope to find a local non pro, if there is such a thing, and keep her for a few days.

What hotel do you like in Ceiba?

”Next time I will bargin more and not be in such a hurry. Thanks for the nice reminder not to inflate the girl's prices.”

I wait till I get back to the hotel room to bargain with them. Now you have to be stone cold at this point. If they ask too much I say no and make a counter offer. If they still say no, I open the door. Think of it this way, there is always tons of honeys out there.

”You're right it was the Gran Ceiba hotel, but taking girls to my room was not a problem. Although Norma said the woman who owned the place didn't like her and she left more quickly than I wanted because of that, I think.”

One time I checked into the Gran Hotel with a hooker and they didn’t say anything to me. Of course they thought we were dating or married. Well the next couple of days there was a stream of cuties coming and going (mostly me coming). Then one night after I was escorting a hottie out, they said no more women and the next day I checked out. Last time I stayed there (no other hotels avail) they said no women allowed.

Funny thing one night coming back after getting my rocks off and being very drunk, I did see a cutie in the lobby giving me the “lets f@ck look”.

But the woman who owns that hotel is well known in La Ceiba. Has this holier then thou aptitude and is either hated or feared. She got the café Verde closed and made a law that got the French Canadian bar closed.

Honestly I don’t know what she was thinking of. Middle aged to older men come to La Ceiba to find hookers and it pumps money into the town. Getting rid of the hooker bars will drive those men out. The only thing left is backpackers and they don’t have much money to throw around.

”If I continue to go there I hope to find a local non pro, if there is such a thing, and keep her for a few days.”

I have noticed that you best chances are on a Thursday night to hook up with a non pro. Every so often a few of my buds run into a non pro. If you look hard enough you can find it. I did it once but it got a little sticky, seeing as she was the clerk in the hotel I was staying at.

”What hotel do you like in Ceiba?”

Usually I like the Flamingo. Because it’s close to all the action. Last time I was there, there was a charge of 100 lemps to let a woman in your room. Other hotels are the Caribbean queen (or king). Usually for women I don’t want to come back to my other hotel. I heard it’s a basically hotel no tell. Also is the hotel coco. Now I know that is a real hotel no tell. The only problem is its way out of town.

There are many normal non-pros and semi-pros. If you read my previous posts (they may be in the San Pedro Sula section because there was no La Ceiba section previously), I rarely pay for sex in La Ceiba. Usually, I find a girlfriend and give her money occasionally for a dress or something. My last trip there, I had my ultimate girl (a 9+ on my scale) and she never asked for a cent (I paid her about 200-250 Lemps every morning for a "taxi" or new clothes and she was a killer lay (she did give me chlmydia though).

If the Norma that you mention is the same Norma that I'm thinking of (about 5'7" dark hair, a little fur on the butt, weighs about 100-110, claims she is unable to drink because she has "diabetes" (La Ceiba euphemism for AIDS). She is a major thief....but yes she is hot and an incredible fuck (I had her before the "diabetes" when she weighed about 130-140 lbs.). She has ripped off everyone that I knew that had her (except me, because I no longer bring any items with me that are worth anything and I have the world's greatest hiding place for my money. She is no longer allowed in several hotels because of her thefts.

Michael,

Where did you meet your 9+ and yes Norma fits that description. Thanks for the warning, I had everything pack away when she was in my room. I almost lost my digital camera in SPS, so I've been very cautious since. Where's your favorite hiding place for money, in the a/c? I read about that one somewhere and tried it a couple of times. It helps to have a screwdriver sometimes :-)

Whitelight, thats so funny - Norma was the first girl I banged in La Ceiba too. I ended up doing her only one more time over the next year, and am posting to tell this story about that night (I worked in Ceiba in ’01 and ’02).

I was driving up and down the zona one rainy night. All the bars were empty because of the rain. I saw Norma and two friends standing outside of a little apartment about half way between Flamingos and Parthenon on the south side of the street. I pulled up, they all jumped in, and we went to a bar (looks like the bar in Corndogs al&lezbo photo). We shot the shit and drank a few beers, all of which I bought (Norma didn’t drink). We were the only ones in the bar and it was pretty boring, so Norma suggested that we all go to my house to play cards.

We started playing canasta and some other bullshit and I suggested we play strip poker, since they didn’t have any money to bet. They balked, so we played some drinking games, loser has to chug a beer, etc (Norma still wouldn’t drink). The other two got seriously drunk and I finally convinced them to play strip poker. Within a few minutes they were all naked (they were drunk enough and Norma was stupid enough that I cheated like a motherfucker, so I was still mostly clothed). We played a couple more rounds, with them betting kisses, etc, since they didn’t have any more clothes, and I lost the rest of my clothes on purpose.

To make a long story short, they all sucked my dick, but the hottest one (not Norma and I can’t remember her name) wouldn’t fuck me. She let Norma and the other girl eat her though. I never did see that girl again.

I saw Norma a couple weeks later in the mall holding hands with her sugar daddy. She gave me a knowing smile and went on her merry way. That night will always be a highlight. I felt like a porn star.

Whitelight,

I have a couple of good spots, I use these in Hotel Partenon. You will need a screwdriver for a couple.

1. Take the phone apart and stick the money in the back of the phone. If you fold it correctily, it is completely invisible. I've had girls holding 2000 Lemps and not a clue that it was there.

2. At night, you can put money in the curtains, there is usually a gap at the top where the curtains meet the hooks and you can place money there. Warning: At the Partenon, the curtains are so cheap you can see the money when daylight shines through. So if you do it, don't let the girl stay the night. Other hotels, there usually is no problem.

3. Lastly, take the cover off the electric outlet and stick the money inside the hole there.

I usually divide my money up between all three and never carry more than 500 Lemps on me at a time.

I met my 9+ at the sleezy bar across the street from the Hotel Partenon...I don't know if it's still there, the owner of the Partenon has a tendency to burn things that aren't profitable. It was a hangout for prostitutes for awhile. They sort of had a 500 Lemp union there (they wouldn't touch a guy for under 500 Lemps). They were all ugly and I wouldn't touch any of them. One day I was getting a hot dog at the bar and this girl walked by and I quickly grabbed her. She never asked for money, was very neat and clean and well dressed and was really religious so I didn't think that she was a working girl. It wasn't until the day before I left that I found out the truth.

I still think the best place to meet normal women in La Ceiba is the Megaplaza. Luckily Honduras isn't a real conservative country and women will generally screw you on the first date (especially if you spend money on them).

BTW, I may be in Honduras in the next couple of months. I was going to return to Peru, but I've been getting repeated phone calls from a few girls that I met the last time I was in La Ceiba. One showed no interest in me when I was there (a local girl I met at the megaplaza), but she now is constantly telling me that she misses me and wants to be with me (and she doesn't call collect either). My goal is to go the first week of March but I probably won't be able to get away until the first week of April.

Later,

Michael

Michael,

Thanks for the tips, I'll just have to figure out how to bring a screwdriver into the country since I ususally travel light with only carry on luggage.

I don't know my next trip date as yet, but will post when I have a date set.

I plan to go to Catagena/Cali, Columbia before returning to Hondo.

What I do is put everything in my suit case and it is always locked with a combo lock. Usually when we get back to the hotel room she uses the bathroom and that’s my chance to open up the suit case and grab the money and condoms.

I used to leave a couple of condoms next to the bed. But afterwards she usually grabs the unused ones. It is unreal how fast they can steal things. Anything I leave out is usually at the far end of the room, away from the bed, door and bathroom. Like my pants, when I take them off I toss them into the corner. When I go to the bath room I don’t shut the door. If she spends a lot of time in the bathroom, I go in and inspect to see she didn’t steal anything.

I was thinking of buying a bible and hollowing it out and putting my condoms in there. I like to have two or three condoms around just in case. Even if I did that, I still wouldn’t put much in there. These girls talk with each other.

Corndog,

My first year there, I got my suitcase stolen at the Partenon (has anybody not had something stolen at the Partenon?). It had a fake bottom. I only had about $50 in it and a few cheap pairs of pants so I don't bother with the suitcase anymore.

Michael1967,

You got a point there. A few things I have heard about the Partenon.

One guy gave the front desk a few hundred to put in the safe. A few days later he ask for it and it is missing and nobody knows where it is.

Another guy is sleeping in his room and he hears some jiggling at his door. He gets up and opens the door and there is some guy on his knees trying to pick the lock. Of course when he sees my bud, he takes off.

One night I tried to bring two women back to my room and the security guard tried to shake me down.

One time just before Easter I got a room there and they wanted to charge me Easter rate for the whole week (post Easter).

So I never stay there.

Now I stay at the flamingo. Never had a problem or heard of a problem there (so far). Well the only thing I heard of is. Someone had a room that faced the ocean and they didn’t lock that door and someone came in while they were sleeping. I have one of those door alarms. It’s a wedge thing that fits under the door and when someone tries to open the door it goes off.

I do travelers checks and I have the numbers listed on a separate piece of paper and scratch them off as I cash them.

I was thinking of buying one of those locking cables for a bike and locking my luggage to something. Thieves go for something they can steal fast.

The main reason that I have chosen the Partenon is because I've been there many times and I'm comfortable with it. Also they know me and always give me the same room. One time I was there and I saw a girl that I hadn't seen in a couple of visits, she had considered herself my girlfriend. She acted like she was happy to see me and asked me what room I was in at the Partenon and I told her the same one that I'm always in. Come see me. She had no clue. I told her if I was so special, she'd remember it.

When I first started going to Honduras in 1998(?). The Partenon allowed the public to swim in their pool. The pool had nothing but hookers in bikinis hanging out (except for Sundays when mainly families would show up). I would see someone I like and just give her my room number and 10 minutes later she would be in my room. There would also be school girls that would rent rooms and screw the gringos to get the money to pay for them (yes, I contributed to the cause).

I keep going back to the hotel and La Ceiba because I think that one day everything will return to the pre Hurricane Mitch days. My next trip I will stay at the La Quinta.

Maltrufio

I stayed in several hotels in La Ceiba while I was looking for an apt and after my lease expired and La Quinta was the best by far. It was the cleanest, safest, and nicest. There is also a guarded back entrance, so getting girls by the front desk is not an issue. Security never once gave me shit or asked for a tip (I gave them some beer a couple of times anyway). The only downside is that the location is not walking distance from the zona. I had a car so this was no problem and there are taxis available, but its nice to walk sometimes.

Also, I had an issue with the Partenon. I chose to stay there for close proximity to Rey de Paella restaurant (is it still there?) I always make my own bed at cheesy hotels when I will be returning for another night. I noticed that the bed would be remade upon return. At first I thought that the maid remade the bed for the hell of it, but after pulling back the sheets and seeing the pubes and cum stains (not mine), it was obvious somebody was using my room while I was at work. Needless to say, I changed hotels.

So I take it the La Quinta doesn’t shake you down when you bring women back. Do they give you the hairy eye ball on some of them?

Now at the Flamingo they have a sign (something like this) that says they don’t allow prostitutes back to the room but if you have a female visitor then the fee is 100 lemps. One time there was this holier then god clerk and he hit me up for some money for his church. I paid him just to get rid of him. Some times the clerks let hookers in and usually wait in the lobby or go around knocking on doors. It wild to get a knock on the door and find some lovely there.

Now there is a hotel near the Parthenon. As you get to the Parthenon, you make a right and then a left. They had one clerk that wanted me to pay full hotel fee to have a woman come back to my room. My answer, screw you I will get a short term room at the Caribbean queen. I never stay there again. Too bad it’s a nice hotel.

As in La Ceiba coming back to what it once was. That is a hard one. I have asked where have all the gringos gone. All I can find out is, some have died, some have moved on. There is not a whole lot of gringos moving in there. Granted its still a fun town with tons of women but not like it was when the cafe verde was open.

Now I have heard that Puerto Cortes is a wild town. Much like La Ceiba was. The only thing is the prices for the women are a little higher.

Corny,

La Quinta has a back/side entrance off of the parking lot. You don't even have to walk by the front desk, so theres nobody to give you shit. There are a couple of guards that wander around the lot. They were pretty cool and used to give me the thumbs up every time I'd bring in a new girl.

Regarding La Ceiba and Honduras in general, I figured more Americans would have moved in after Maduro became Pres. I guess its not happening.

Puerto Cortes - I wasn't impressed. I don't think its wilder at all, except on weekends, when everybody from San Pedro Sula escapes the city. Its dead mid-week and it is a little pricier.

Next time I am down there I will check out the La Quinta. Its hard to find a all around hotel. You know the one where you can bring women back, safe and not get shaked down by either the clerks or the people hanging out front.

"Regarding La Ceiba and Honduras in general, I figured more Americans would have moved in after Maduro became Pres. I guess its not happening. "

The first time I went to La Ceiba was in 96 and the café Verde was still open. It was wild. There was hookers every where. When the café was open, there were hookers in there. Thursday night was the best. The café would be filled and outside there were tons of women that for some odd reason they wouldn’t let them in. of course at that time there was tons of middle age gringos there. Then the woman who owned the gran hotel Ceiba had the café shut down. Also she had a law passed that you cant have a bar within so many feet of a church. Well the French Canadian owners screwed up let their license expire and when they went to renew it they found out they couldn’t. After that I noticed that there was less hookers and less gringos went there. It used to be that 99% of the hookers were Latinas but now it mostly cribs. The whole town has taken a turn. It used to be that Easter was a wild party. Now its still a party but not as wild as before. Everyone has a theory of what happened but I think it was the closing of the café verde that did it. The bia-yich who owns the gran hotel cant live forever. I talked to her once and boy she is nasty.

"Puerto Cortes - I wasn't impressed. I don't think its wilder at all, except on weekends, when everybody from San Pedro Sula escapes the city. Its dead mid-week and it is a little pricier."

One day I was hanging out in Gordos and talking to a ex-pat and he was telling me about Puerto Cortes. He said it was too wild for him and it’s basically a sailor town. What goes with sailors with money to burn, hookers. So everything I know is second hand info. From others they said its ok. The only problem is getting there from La Ceiba. Not a quick ride.

Still all and all, La Ceiba is still a decent town to get laid in. Its nice and laid back.

My first year there, Dieter's was the place to hang out. La Ceiba was an amazing city. I would walk from the Partenon to Dieter's or over to Cherries and I was propositioned probably about every 20 feet. The main drag was always packed and I never worried about crime (because I was never alone). I never, ever, took a taxi because the streets were so busy that it would be impossible for someone to rob me.

I could choose and always chose the hottest and then I wouldn't pay more than 250 Lemps (back then it was 9 to 1?). I triple shifted several times and double shifting was normal. Now (and I still plan to be there in April) it's hard to find a extremely hot chick. I'll do much more moving around this time and hit Tegus and other cities.

Update about a night in La Ceiba last week:

Stayed at Partenon which is a steal at 250 Lps/14 US$ with a/c, swimming pool and cable tv. Had no problems with staff. When bringing girls did not go through reception, the guard on the parking lot just waved me ok.
Some rooms are in bad condition, doors show signs of attempts to break in. Chose a room with intact door near the central area. There are two 24h armed guards on duty. There was a sign saying the whole property is for sale.

The area around the hotel is mostly closed restaurants and other properties in disuse. Walking outwards you come past several nightclubs and discotheques, the ones I checked charge high bar fines (1000 Lps) for taking girls out.

Went hunting for street girls. On a wednesday night, found almost nothing. Walked up and down 5-6 blocks each way, streets almost empty at 8-10 pm. Finally met two girls on their way to a club and got a 2 hour deal with one for 400 Lps. Sex was unhurried and not bad.

On the hotels: Every taxi driver knew Partenon and La Quinta.

Found a small hotel named "Caribe" in a side street (3 Av. near 14 de Julio), 5 US$, did not look nice enough to try it.

wow. that's horrible. i knew la ceiba was going downhill, but that sounds terrible. flamingos is about 1.5 miles down the road from the partenon. it's by cherries discoteca. there is an outdoor hamburger place about 1/4 of a block away. don't eat there, it's the only time i've gotten sick from the food in la ceiba. i guess i won't be going back there soon. i wanted to go next month but i think i'll go to south america instead.

the partenon being for sale is not a surprise. i'm surprised the owner hasn't burned it down. he's burned down the other enterprises that he's had that were unprofitable (allegedly). my last trip there he had just burned down a section of the older part of the hotel, the section that had the strip club (allegedly) . i usually pay about 17 or 18 us a night at the partenon (with a discount), if they gave you the room for $14, they must really be doing poorly.

if you are in the new section, be concerned about people climbing over to your balcony and getting into your room through the back door. the last room i had, had a locking iron gate as a balcony door. they charged me $5 for the key to this door. if you're in the old section, there are ducts that people can club through to go from one room to the other to get into your room.

none of this matters, because i believe (actually, i know) that the staff is part of the theft problem at the partenon...and they have keys. lastly, at night, sometimes women will go knocking on doors, looking for guys to screw them. i believe that security tells them where the single americans are and lets them in for a percentage of the take. this has happened several times, but though it's a blessing...sometimes, you also need to remember that there are no peep holes in the door and there could be a guy with a gun waiting for you when you open the door.

good luck and keep me posted on how it goes. la ceiba used to be a fantastic town to monger in and i've watched it slowly dwindle away to nothing. don't forget to hit the megaplaza and flirt with all the hot, young women. remember, most of them want to marry someone and get out of the country and sex on the first date (sometimes the only date) is not a problem in honduras.

Long time lurker, first post - Zona Viva seems to have quieted down (February 04) compared to a year ago. Plenty of abandoned property - but something must be happening - there are hotels going up everywhere, from the Zona Viva to Naranjal.

Women are everywhere - if you can't get laid in Ceiba, you're not really trying. Cheap too, average about 200-300 Liem unless they figure you for more. And that's desperation, there is an abundance of free stuff out there. Try a little conversation with the ex-pat's who live there and see the difference. At least you'll know what it is you're getting into.

Four trips for me in the last year and another in May, I'm looking forward to carnaval. Being from New Orleans, I've about 100 lbs. of collectable type Mardi Gras beads (not float stuff) which will hopefully pay my bar tab, among other things.

How easy - or difficult - is it to find brand-name condoms (i.e., Trojan, Durex, etc.) in La Ceiba? At night? Any good late-night pharmacies?

I suppose I could buy them before leaving, but then I run the risk of my significant other finding them on my luggage, which would lead to "oh, I thought you were going to be alone on this trip???" -you get the idea.

If buying them in La Ceiba is too much trouble, does anyone know if it's possible to find them at Miami International, before my flight?

Thanks guys!

I never had a problem with finding condoms there. Usually I found them in the drug stores but I always bring my own from the states. I used to put a few of them on the night stand but the hookers stole the unused ones. Blink your eye and POOF they are gone.

Funny thing I noticed is a lot of the hookers don’t care if you wear a condom.

I just returned from La Ceiba, and was disapointed. I was in town for a tuesday and wedneday. at about 11pm each eavning, i walked a couple of laps of calle 1, but didn't see anything worthwile.

on each night there was no more than 12 girls out there, and none of them were appeling to me.

I was not impressed with la ceiba as a hobby destination, but the tours and beaches make up for it.

I just returned from la Ceiba last Sunday and spent most of my time with a girl I met there 3 months ago. She's not a working girl. We met at an internet cafe, she and her girl friend were at two computer stations down from me. I guess I got lucky, cuz she was really interested in my blue eyes and puts up with my muy malo espanol. She's 23 I'm 57 and she wants to have a relationship with me! God knows why.

My experience in Ceiba with the working girls is they are mostly out on the weekends. Most on the streets are dogs. The dance clubs from Thurs-Sat are the place to meet girls, but accually I haven't been that successful with that ploy.

It seems to be hit or miss meeting locals is the best bet, but that takes luck, time and good spanish.

San Pedro has a larger and better selection of working girls. I've had many off the street and from a lady pimp working out of her house by the name of Olga. I've posted before about her. Nice young girls out of the barios. I've only had one twice.

Back to Ceiba, it a great place for girls if you can spend some time there. Just start talking to every girl you see and sooner or later you'll connect with a local. Try the mall too, Applebees has a carioki on the weekends, sometimes that's loaded with girls. I have been going there almost once a month all this year.

I met Norma, who some guys know. She was at the Parthanon bar. She was pregnant but we got a room anyway. She pretty great in bed even pregnant!

Ceiba does have many other activities like rafting, hiking and pretty good restaurants.

Well that is not a hard one to figure out. You’re a gringo and have money. Maybe not much but more then the ones she is seeing. You’re a way out of the barrio. I know of a guy who is 68 and this woman/girl who is 17 and her parents are pushing her to marry him.

My experience in Ceiba with the working girls is they are mostly out on the weekends.

My last time there I noticed that Thursday night was the best for non pro action, women who just needed a little extra money. Also I noticed late at night around 2 or 3 there are women hanging out on the street corners.

San Pedro has a larger and better selection of working girls. I've had many off the street and from a lady pimp working out of her house by the name of Olga. I've posted before about her. Nice young girls out of the barios. I've only had one twice.

Barrio girls are nice but will not do oral. Well the ones I have seen.

Back to Ceiba, it a great place for girls if you can spend some time there.

Funny thing I have noticed is that a lot of working girls don’t give you that come here look. I know it takes some guts but if you see a woman hanging out, just ask her for sex. The last couple of times I was there I said it was my last time there. Then I find out where the action is and it’s not so bad. In the USA you have to watch for the LE, in La Ceiba it doesn’t matter.

The problem is I haven’t been there in a few years and don’t know what it is like. My bud is down there and he is giving me negative reports. But then he is kind of a negative person. He says there is action but you have to look for it.

I met Norma, who some guys know. She was at the Parthanon bar. She was pregnant but we got a room anyway. She pretty great in bed even pregnant!

With PG women you don’t have to worry about knocking them up. I have to ask my bud if he did the deed.

White Light,

I know you are a veteran of Honduras. I've been there many times and was involved with a lady from La Ceiba for 3 years.

I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but be careful with the lady. I've met many guys hooked up with Hondurenas and many of the women are fantastic, but there is also many of the golddiggers out there.

I know a few guys, my self included, who met their ladies outside the P4P scene but for some it deteriorated from there.

I'm 48 and my novia there was 26 but it didn't seem to matter to her, or in fact to the many places we went.

She liked her gifts and always wanted some money, but as our relationship evolved, there were less and less demands and finally none.

She says that once she knew I was sincere, and she felt she was in love, the situation was different.

Ours ended because we found out she was HIV+ (she was honest about her sexual history with me prior to this).

I was tempted to try to bring her up here anyway, but it is almost impossible.

Anyway good luck I sure enjoy Honduras.

Wow:

How prevelant is HIV? I know I can get the stats from the CIA World Fact Book, but I was just curious on your opinion. I am going to see a woman who lives in Colon in December - January and I would be fooling myself if I thought everything was on he up and up. She may be a good girl and I am kind of betting that she is but HIV peope do not come with a sign and I only have to be unlucky one time.

Cabana Man,

Aids in Honduras it not as bad as say Bermuda. USAIDS is revising their numbers all the time. Now they are saying Africa is not as bad as they first thought it was.

Your best bet is to wear a condom with spermicidal lotion. If you have decent dental hygiene oral is not a major risk. I have heard that there is only one case of a person catching AIDS from going down. It was two lesbian and they had very bad dental hygiene. Actually a doctor told me it is easier to catch other things from a BJ.

Now I did a pie chart of people of who has AIDS.

Over 50% are gay men and then comes intravenous drug users then bi men. For a hetro male getting it from a female is around 4%.

Years ago when the blood supply was infected roughly a couple hundred people were infected. Some were married women and their husbands who had repeated unprotected sex with them and the odds were 1 in 300 of catching it. With a correct condom it’s one in a billion.

To put that in prospective, taking a shower every day you have a 1 in 87 chance of seriously hurting your self.

Wow! Norma pregnant?!?

That's weird. I've run across Norma many times and have never touched her. The first time I came across her (about 4 years ago), I thought she was incredibly hot. Unfortunately, a friend of mine had her holed up in his room all day. When she finally came out, I could have done her, but I would've felt guilty because he really seemed to like her. The next year, I saw her and she had lost about 30lbs, she could no longer drink because she has "diabetes" (though everyone I know that has diabetes is fat) and no one would touch her because she was a thief and supposedly had contracted HIV (actually alot the guys didn't care about the HIV, it was the stealing they wouldn't tolerate).

Her weight loss of about 30lbs, her sudden case of "diabetes" where she could no longer drink alcohol and the rampant rumors that she is HIV+ have kept me away from her (I bring absolutely nothing to Honduras that I don't expect to lose, especially if I stay at the Partenon). Though last time I was there I did have her in my room and naked, she wanted to have sex, but I just wanted a nice, safe, BJ. I know how rare it is to catch HIV from a woman, especially if you do everything right. I know I have probably had sex with a few HIV+ women and didn't know it, but I couldn't have sex with someone where all the evidence points to them being HIV+ and not be freaked out.

A couple of notes to other recent posters:

Re: Honduran Girlfriends - My first trip to La Ceiba (1996-1997), I had been there one day and had my money stolen. I met some girl at Cherries and within 10 minutes of meeting her we were at my place. Back in my stupid days, I would keep my extra money in my pants pockets that were still in my suitcase or in a drawer, thinking they would never look in pants that I'm not wearing to get my money. Wrong!

I called my dad and had him wire money to me. I sat at a crowded Western Union about 1 1/2 hours waiting for them to process my money. The place was packed with girls waiting for money from their "novios" in the United States. During my 1 1/2 hours there I was hit on more than 10 times. I even had offers to go back to the hotel with me after I picked up my money. I would never send cash to a girl I met in Honduras (actually, I take that back, I have occasionally sent $50-100 to a few families that I met while I was there).

On being set up with young girls:

My friend and I were set up with two girls around 14 - 15 YO last time we were there. I was sort of freaked out but also intrigued and they obviously had planned to have sex with us. I have also thrown a 12YO out of my room at the Partenon who was very intent on making 300 Lemps. I like my girls young but I don't want to go to jail for it. The 12YO being in my room was my fault, I saw her and thought she was cute and told her to come to my room. When she showed up, I realized how young she was and couldn't do it. She insisted that she knew what she was doing. The 12YO eventually became a hooker, when she was in my room she was just trying to make some extra money. I don't believe that age is much of a factor there (the 14-15 YO we took to a bar and they had no problem getting in) and I believe some will set you up with a younger woman with the hope that she will get out of the country.

Where did these statistics originate? After reading your post I decided to check what is available out here and most information is outdated, however according to 2001 figures (http://www.avert.org/statindx.htm) Honduras documented 57,000 cases and it's highly doubtful Bermuda has incidence near this figure.

And that one in a billion - You're a respected poster and I've always enjoyed reading your posts, but this condom must be made of seven ply reinforced - super-latex based indestructable material that came from the same manufacturer that sold Jack those beans. Chances of winning Powerball are better than this. There is risk associated with this hobby and something we all realize and understand.

Hey Guys,

After hearing my girl done there was HIV+ I got tested and did some checking around.

We were together for 3 years, and I would visit Honduras, or we would meet somewhere, at least 5 times a year for 10-14 days each. Each day was generally a pop in the morning, a pop in the evening and periodic others, so 3 years x ~60 days per year x 2.5 pops a day (hey I'm 47 and don't like viagra) = 450 pops over three years.

Her doctors, who I spoke with, figures she was + for 4 years, which figures to her wild past that she had told me about (not pro, but active with various partners).

All pops (both front and back door) were covered, only once did the condom blow (as I got off). All oral (me on her, her on me) was uncovered, and I like my oral so on top of the 450 add ~ 100 BJ's not to mention the uncovered oral warmups.

So many encounters and I'm negative.

My Dr says that the bodily fluids must get in to the blood stream, so with oral, bad hygeine with bloody teeth could accept fluids and pass the virus. Guess the brush, and floss I was taught saved my life !?! Gotta thank that dentist!.

Anyway I hate condoms, we had always talked of getting tested and dropping them, but I was always hesitant.

Anyway with modern meds, I'm 47 and HIV+ are living 20+ years so while I'm not going to start getting crazy, what the hell 47 + 20 = 67 and at that time I figure I'll be headed out soon anyway.

Be Careful anywhere guys

I have researched this over and over. The problem with web sites is they are always changing. A lot of my data comes from USAIDS web site but it has changed. As in Bermuda it is percentile wise not actual cases. Also as I have heard in third world countries they do not do a western blot to confirm. So I would assume that there are false positives out there.

And that one in a billion - You're a respected poster and I've always enjoyed reading your posts, but this condom must be made of seven ply reinforced

OK not one in a billion but its up there. The scenario is of normal heterosexual sex with no unprotected oral contact and using a condom with Nonoxynol-9. AIDS is not as contagious as say the flu. When they first figured out that AIDS was transmitted via sex the CDC put prostitutes on the high risk list. Years later they didn’t see them come down with it in the numbers they predicted and so they took them off the high risk list.

Wow! Norma pregnant?!?

http://www.wsgforum.com/vforum/attachment.php?s=&postid=128724

Is that the Norma we are talking about? She is the one on the far right. I heard she doesn’t drink. I heard she is good in bed but I never did her. I have a bud that lives in La Ceiba and I asked him about her. When he returns my email I will pass it along.

Back in my stupid days, I would keep my extra money in my pants pockets that were still in my suitcase or in a drawer

Most of my money is in travelers checks. Now when I go out clubbing I only carry around $20 on me. Now I only have $50 or so in lemps in my room. I keep that locked up in my suit case. When we go back to my hotel room she usually has to use the bathroom and that is my cue to unlock my suitcase and pull out a few hundred lemps. Of course I lock the suitcase back up. Now I use a four digit combo on my suitcase and not the one it came with. If she doesn’t have use the bathroom, I tell her to go in there for a few minutes while I get the money. The only time they are out of my sight while in my room is when they are in the bathroom. No I don’t do over nighters with them.

During my 1 1/2 hours there I was hit on more than 10 times. I even had offers to go back to the hotel with me after I picked up my money.

Yes I have heard of strange places to met women. Here is a couple I heard of. Main bus stops, they are waiting for their bus and some are open to make a few bucks. It used to be the park was a good place but last time I was there it was almost empty. A bud of mine Kenny told me to meet a lot of women is to rent a house by the airport and sooner or later they will start showing up at your door once they know what you are there for.

My friend and I were set up with two girls around 14 - 15 YO last time we were there. I was sort of freaked out but also intrigued and they obviously had planned to have sex with us. I have also thrown a 12YO out of my room at the Partenon who was very intent on making 300 Lemps.

It is common in Honduras for a native to take a young woman/girl as a mistress. There is a (or was) native man on Roatan who was married and boasted that he had three mistresses and none of them were older then 16. Now for all the gringos all I have to say it’s a BAD IDEA. Although they do it they know it’s illegal. Here are few scams I heard that are played out.

The girl is a hooker and leaving your hotel some guys hanging out and see’s her leave. They tell you unless you pay them they will go to the police. It doesn’t stop with the first blackmailer. Someone will see you pay them and the next day they will hit you.

After you finish the deed she gets dressed and says she is only 12 and leaves. A few minutes later there is a knock at the door and its someone asking for a donation.

Say you call the blackmailers bluff and say go to the police. They do and you are charged. Then you find a go between your lawyer and the family. For a small sum she (the girl) will be out of town and not show up in court. There is a whole cottage industry of taking gringos to the cleaners in Honduras.

One time while sitting in a bar with some ex-pats a very young woman/girl came in and hit on them. They all said they don’t want any trouble and shoo her off. After she was gone they all told me that women/girls that young are nothing but trouble and not worth it. They are the ones who told me about the blackmailer stories. I have been hit on by some young women/girls and they can be very aggressive.

I believe some will set you up with a younger woman with the hope that she will get out of the country.

A buddy of mine is 68 and lives down there. He met this 16 year old and she wants to marry him. Her parents are all for it. Of course they all come from the campos and if he married her then they will have money coming in.

Migrant,

do you know WHAT kind of people have aids/HIV in Honduras??

I mean there is a big difference if they are homo's...drugsusers or bi-sexual men?
What percentage you would think are women??

I was told you only can do an aids test after 6 months.....because before that you can NOT see if you are infected. Do you know something about this?
Even IF you have had sex with somebody that is infected that does NOT have to mean you also will get aids/HIV....But I will not take that change.

Jeeee this aids/hiv shit worries me. Not that I am a "barebacker"..I always use rubbers. Unless ofcourse a good BJ:-) With a rubber it's no fun.

Johan,

In Ceiba, as well as much of Honduras, a lot of sex going on. I am sure a lot of gay sex, but I didn't see many gays there at all.

My girl was just very active when younger, lots of parties.

Honduras has a lot of drug problems, but from what I've read and seen it's the sniffing drugs and crack, not so much the needle therefore I would have to assume most of the HIV is through hetero sex.

Education is still a low point in the poor areas and condoms are not something the men down there want to wear.

As I posted I always used condoms for sex, but non for BJ's and I lucked out because like I mentioned she was positive.

I understand the 6 month period is for the majority of the tests but there is a 3 month test that is more extensive (and therefore expensive).

Good Luck!

Johan, I wouldn’t worry too much about HIV. Just take the necessary precautions you would anywhere else. While living in Honduras, I became good friends with an American doctor that was working for USAID on health issues. He said that the gov’t of Honduras artificially inflates their HIV+ numbers to get more aid money from the US. He said Honduras is actually about average with respect to HIV infection with the rest of Latin America.

Also, as Migrant mentioned, intravenous drug use is pretty rare. The infection is spread mainly through the Honduran mans refusal to use condoms and the Honduran womans refusal to insist that her man wear one. This is evident by the number of pregnant working girls in La Ceiba. It is amazing the rate is so high. You would think that for purely economic reasons, the girls would do whatever necessary to avoid become pregnant. Lots of girls there even told me, while I was opening a condom package, that I didn’t need to use it.

Michael – regarding Norma. I don’t think she’s HIV+. One of the guys that worked for me was her serious boyfriend. They had unprotected sex on a daily basis for almost a year. He’s still clean. By the way, this will be her third kid.

Michael1967

Maltrufio,

Was your friend the "military guy"? My last trip there she was seeing some guy with rather large muscles that claimed he was some important guy in the military and had been discharged. About my third week there, my friends and I were talking to him and after about an hour one confronted him because he didn't believe he was ever in the military. When he was cornered, he copped to being a phony. I thought negatively of him at first and then I realized that it may be the case with alot of people there. (I met a really cool guy once and we hung out for awhile, one day it dawned on me that the only reason he was in Honduras was for the younger chicks, but he would never admit it, he just kept coming across them accidentally). It seemed like Norma and him had been a couple for awhile (of course, none of this stopped her from getting naked in my room at 3AM).

Re STDs:

The only STD that I ever had I received from a religious girl I met in La Ceiba during my last trip. She gave me Chlamydia. What seems to be the case with me is that the first time we have sex, they will always want to use a condom. If I see them again, they never want to use a condom. I believe the girls must think that if you are their boyfriend, you shouldn't use condoms. I had a vasectomy many years ago so I don't worry about knocking them up. My little STD scare and the fact that I had an SO in the US that I had to lie to get it taken care of (I had a great doctor that helped me out), has made me return to using condoms all of the time except for oral sex.

Michael,

Norma's "boyfriend" was a gringo with a redneck accent. He did have a military buzz cut, but I don't think its the same guy. Also, I fucked Norma twice during this "serious" relationship. I probably could've done it a lot more if I would have tried.

Regarding condoms, I always got the impression that the girls didn't want me to use a condom so in case they got pregnant (from anybody), they could try to blame me and extort support money. I had two working girls in La Ceiba kind of hint around that I might be responsible for their pregnancies. Jennifer and another (can't remember her real name, but we called her Looney because she was so pyscho).

If I don’t use a condom can I tell the hooker to blame you? Just kidding, but does sound good thou.

My experience has been some ask you to wear one and other don’t. More then once I have gotten caught up in the act and all of a sudden I remember I don’t have one on and pull out and put one on. Other times the women have started to guide me in and I don’t have one on. I am only down there for a week at a time so blaming me and getting something out of it would be hard.

Migrant One,

I am sure a lot of gay sex, but I didn't see many gays there at all.

I have heard that a lot of the women are bi or gay. On the left in the picture that chick is gay but is a hooker to make money.
http://www.wsgforum.com/vforum/attachment.php?s=&postid=128725

When Cherries was a bar when you were leaving there were men on the beach waving me to come over. I saw one guy who had a tiny flashing light and he was standing alone. I do know that there is a TV hooker or there was. Not gay so I don’t know the extent of the gay scene down there.

Now on aids transmission, I think it could be. I once had a GF down there and when we went to kiss she bite my lip that it drew blood. The virus is in your saliva and could transmit that way.

maltrufio,

i had one do the same thing to me. it was almost comical. i screwed her when she was on her period during the afternoon. that night she comes and tells me her period stopped and she thinks she's pregnant.

at first i thought she was joking because i couldn't believe that a woman has absolutely no knowledge about how babies are made. i'm one that tries to avoid that subject (periods and other women stuff) and even i knew there was no way in hell she was pregnant. she went on with the "i'm pregnant" routine for a few days and finally dropped it when she realized i wasn't buying it (i also had a vasectomy, but i didn't tell her that).

that's the one thing i don't like about latin america. most of the women i've encountered want to have sex with you when they are on the rag (there was one that got very angry with me when i wouldn't do it). there's nothing i hate more than finishing up and looking down and seeing a blood covered penis and blood covered sheets.

are you still in honduras? if airfare ever drops down below $1k i'm way overdue for a trip there. i like going to la ceiba, everyone there knows me and it feels like my second home. my last trip, i was so stressed out when i left home. at customs in sps the agent peeled my passport apart (as if i would try to sneak into honduras with a fake passport) and i was even more stressed after that because i knew i was going to get hell when i got back to the us (black male, travelling alone for 3 weeks, one suitcase and a damaged passport). when i got to the partenon, it all went away. they always give me the same room and everyone knew me by name. i was in my room for 5 minutes and someone came up to tell me that my friend chris from la was staying on the second floor (i didn't even know he was there).

Got back recently from a short trip to La Ceiba; although I didn't partake in any hobbying, I did manage to find some non-P4P -- thanks, in part, to the advice I found here.

Though I probably won't be back any time soon, I nonetheless wanted to get clarification on the Parthenon, for the benefit of future travellers.

A previous post mentioned a bar at the Parthenon. I stopped by for a look on a Saturday night, and - I couldn't find it! There's a "Restaurant Touche" that's part of the hotel and faces the street, but it looked like an actual restaurant and was empty. And I think I saw a small bar beside the pool, but there was absolutely nothing going on there. There were even kids playing in the pool. I poked around a bit more, but found nothing else. Is it simply that times have changed, or was I looking in the wrong place?

Also, I wanted to mention - I stayed at the Iberia, downtown on Avenida San Isidro. I liked the place. It's away from the Zona Rosa, but it's nice and close to a 24-hour ATM down the street, which can come in handy. Also, I had no problem bringing a guest up, and they didn't charge me extra. Mind you, I only tried this once, I don't know what their policy is on multiple visits.

Michael1967

The bar at the Partenon is the little outdoor one that you saw. In it's glory days (pre hurricane Mitch) ...you would sit at the bar all day while they blasted music (usually songs from the 70s and 80s that you would never hear in the US anymore) and there would be hookers swimming in the water and hookers sitting around the bar. Usually some would get together and rent a room and have guys go to their room or go up to a guys room. All you had to do was sit at the bar for 15-20 minutes and you could choose whatever you wanted. I never paid more than 200-250 Lemps for the hottest of them.

After Hurricane Mitch, it changed. The bar would not be open during the day, the hookers quit staying at the hotel, but you could still show up there at night and if you sat long enough you would encounter a few quality girls.

My last trip, the bar was closed 2 days per week. They did not allow unescorted girls into the hotel to sit at the bar (or even into the hotel after the bar opened). A few girls would get past the guard at the gate but they weren't worth screwing. The owner of the hotel opened a dive bar directly across the street where the hookers would hang out, but they were also low quality. The girls were demanding 500 Lemps for a screw and they had formed a union where no one, no matter how ugly, would accept less than 500. Since no one would pay that much the girls got meaner and more desperate. I would go to the strip club and a girl would ask to sit with me, I would tell her no and she would call me a bunch of foul names in Spanish. I had another ugly one approach me and I told her no and she threatened to cut my throat. My last trip most of my mongering was done with local girls that I met at the Megaplaza.

I assume things probably have gotten worse there so I moved on and now go to other countries for fun, but I may go back there one day but I will go to other parts of Honduras besides La Ceiba.

FYI,

I usually stay at the Gran Ceiba hotel next door to the Iberia. Never had any trouble with bring girls there. The rooms are larger than Iberia for about the same price $16. I always feel safe leaving my stuff there. The adjacent restaurant has a decent breakfast.

I've finally rented an apt. which is new construction one bed room for $250/mo. Expensive but nice apts. are hard to find in Ceiba.

The street scene is still not worth the effort, But but the local stuff is everywhere and doable.

Good luck to all traveling there.

Maybe I've been lucky with the staff at the gran ceiba??

I now have an apt. so it's a non issue for me.

What is SW?

I have never seen any girls on Calle 1 zona viva that looked to be working that I would want in my bed.

Local girls are approchable and can be chatted up and for the price of a dinner and some clothes will take care of me.

Maybe in your mind all the locals are working girls, I dunno, but I haven't ever found anything in zona viva on the streets.

Where do you find them in Ceiba??

Thanks for any advice.

Just returned from a month in La Ceiba. Incredibly good time this trip, and another planned for carnival. Women are everywhere here, and paying for it should be the last option. There's just too much free stuff here and the young ones locked into poverty are looking for an out.

Even minimal language skills goes a long way here. The mall is loaded with young girls mid morning, and the older retired gringo's are having extreme fun with them.

Zona viva is about the same, and I didn't spend a lot of time there except Saturday, le dia la amor. This alone is worth the trip as it's a carnival atmosphere. And the women are incredible - the eye contact alone is exciting. Try this in your local mall and watch that young woman just about flip you off.

Norma has married Roger (dive instructor) and they have a child. Or at least that was my understanding. There's a video of the wedding which is supposed to be kicks.

I was wondering, there’s a girl in The French Harbour/La Ceiba area. Her name is Francis, a very beautiful black Jamaican/Belizian, big boned, smooth skin, nice features, pretty. I knew her in 2001 when I was at Carnival.

Anyone know or see her?

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know when the parade for carnival occurs? I asked in Ceiba and the scheule wasn't out as yet. I'm not much for those events, but my next trip this month may conencide with it.

I used a guy named Antoino to help me find chicas and he did pretty good this last month, his number is 993-1917 and he speaks pretty good english.

I need to get my eyes examined cuz I don't find that many appealing girls wandering the mall or streets in Ceiba, but I am particular now a days. I know they are there, I was going to the mall in the afternoon. I'll try mid morning now.

Thanks for all the posts.

I haven't been there for awhile but it's good to hear about everyone. I'm glad Norma finally got married, it's exactly what she wanted. Wow, I think I've known her 5 years and her dream was to find some gringo to take care of her. She wasn't a bad kid (except when she went through her stealing phase).

I think my next trip there will be in the fall. It's been difficult getting away because I currently have a girlfriend that doesn't like me traipsing across the world without her. In the past, I've told her that Honduras is too dangerous for her and that I will take her some place safe like Mexico. She always went for it and then I would take a trip without her later. For the last year, I haven't been able to take the extra few weeks off to do my solo trip.

Does anyone know if the Partenon is still open? If not, does anyone know what the La Quinta is charging?

It seems the mongering scene in Ceiba is completely dead. I arrived to Ceiba from SPS at around 11am on Sunday. I took a cab to the Gran Hotel Ceiba, however, I was told that it was completely booked, however, my gut told me it was only sold out for only a certain type of demographics but that’s a post for another board. Fortunetly, the hotel Iberia was right next door. After putting my bags in the room, I went to get an early lunch at the wendy’s that is located a block away. I was sitting down having my lunch when one of the workers started making some small convo she looked like a 7 in my book, I asked her if she wanted to do something later on and she told me that, she’ll think about it. Now, that was a complete turn off for me, although I don’t mind perusing a chick who plays hard to get in the US, I kinda like to shy away from chicks who play head games when I am traveling since time is at an essence.

After my lunch I went to the Mall. It must have been school recess hour because this place was filled with teenage girls and their parents. I walked around and loitered in the mall for about 30 min and I called it a day. I took a cab and asked him about day time action and he said that sort of things don’t go on in La Ceiba anymore, I kinda didn’t believe him because I noticed a HUGE bible on the back seat of the cab. When it got darker I went to a few of the places mentioned here. The partheon hotel bar was completely empty. I went and had a drink at this bar that is right next to it called zona 0, I was the only patron in there. I asked the bartender about any action nearby and he said he didn’t know of any. Also, there is a strip club on the other side of the partheon hotel but it was closed for good.

As I was taking a cab back to my hotel my cabbie told me that sometimes there were pro’s on the this bar called eddies(sp) place, however, things were not like they used to be even a year ago. Then by reading this thread about the owner of the Gran ceiba shutting down w hor e houses and then reading signs in La Ceiba posted at internet cafés warning surfers about a law that imposes heavy fines if caught browsing porn, it dawned on me that the religious fanatics have taken over and shut down Ceiba’s P2P scene for good.

The strip club that is close to the parteon hotel is open after all, the named was Chicas night club. I got there at around 11pm and there was this huge whale dancing on stage. After her set was done this gorgeous chick dancer named Paola came and danced. I tipped her a couple of dollars and after she was done dancing she came over and sat on my lap. Little did I know that she was a lier and rip off artist. She said if she could have a trago, this should have raised red flags if the first thing a stripper says after introducing herself is to buy her a drink. However, I was thinking with my little head not the big one. It was a small ass drink and it came out to like 125 lps($6) which is a lot.

She told me she like me and that she would love to spend the whole night at my hotel room for $100 USC, I looked at this chick like if she was out of her fucking mind. I told her , hell no then she dropped her price to 1,000 lps for two hours and includes everything anal, oral etc. I still thought that 1,000 lps was a little too much but you only live once. I gave the bartender the 1,000 and he gave her 3 condoms. To make a long story short, this chick was horrible. She ordered a second drink without asking me and expected me to pay for it, I refused to pay for the drink. Then didn’t want to give head and just to get her to change positions was a struggle. After I came she was getting dressed I told her the two hours aren’t up yet, then she said I had to buy her more drinks so she could stay longer, then she had the nerve to asked me for a tip. I went and spoke to the manager, he didn’t seem to care, I guess that’s why this place was practically empty.

After the chicas club rip off I was decided to redeem myself. I went back to my hotel and “tipped” the receptionist at the lobby $5.00 and told him I am going to have some one over. He told me that he knew someone who could come to my room. However, I don’t like blind dates, so I passed on his offer. I hired a local cabbie to find me some chicas, it took a while but I found this fine black chica she was a 7.5 in my book. She was hanging outside the disco that is next to the casino in zona viva. We agreed on 300 lps, it was a very nice session with lots of kissing and multiple positions. It was definitely among the best sessions I had with a pro. The only bad thing about her was that she didn’t gave head, After I camed she watched TV and left which was fine by me because I didn’t want her spending the night and stealing all my shit.

Hi,

There is this guy who hangs out around the airport who can get you girls. My info is a bit hazy due to its 3rd hand nature, but when you arrive in La Ceiba, ask the taxi drivers to direct you to a guy named "shorty". He can introduce you to quite a few girls and lessen the inconvenience of having to search. I've also heard that his "stable" is not quite savoury so buyer beware. Lock up everything, make sure your valuables are in a safe, always agree on the rate before hand. I've never met the guy so can't vouchsafe for him. But love to hear experiences from those who may give Shorty a try.

I'm returning to La Ceiba from January 5th to 17th. About 8 years ago, La Ceiba was my favorite city to get laid but it has changed quite a bit. After 3 years away I'm going to try again. This will be my 5th visit. If anyone wants to meet up and hit a few strip clubs, PM me. In Honduras, I usually go for the semi-pro/non-pros and I've always had success. I do enjoy the strip clubs but I never take anyone out.

I will either stay at the Partenon or the La Quinta, I believe they are both still chica friendly.

Later,

Michael

Michael,
The Quinta is about $50 or so and it's chicka friendly as of Oct. I usually bring my girl in through the parking lot just to not have to deal with any odd looks. I don't think anyone there cares.
The partenon is still open, never stayed there except for a quicky with Norma when she was pregnant.........

Where do you go to find any pros in Ceiba that are worth looking at let alone taking them to bed? ;-)
Semi pros where do you meet them? I've had to use a guide to help me and then it's hit or miss.....
Your spanish must be top shelf??
I'll be there the mid to end of jan but will be with my novia most of the time and the islands......
Enjoy take care.......

Hi guys,

I did go to La Ceiba in August and used Shorty's services. Since I couldn't contact him before, he had to improvise with respect to getting me appointments.

Overall, it could have been much better because I ended up spending a lot of time just waiting for the girls to show up. The looks of the girls were about 6/10 but the girls were not hard core and they all had great attitudes. DFK, DATY, as long as I wanted, it was a lot of fun.

He specializes in semi-pro girls and duos. At the end of a 3 day stay, I gave him US$50 to cover his fees. He really didn't earn it, but given the poor pickup scene, he's the best lead a guy can have. A lot of guys from around here go to La Ceiba semi regularly and always use him.

I don't want to neccessariliy write him off so I will return but with 3 weeks advance notice so that he can line up my appointments properly. He can be contacted at 372 3251. If you use him, tell him the chino sent you. I think he remembers me.

Note: supposedly AIDS prevalance is high so wrap your willy. Also, lots of barebacking goes on so a lot of street girls might have STDs too. Shorty is well known for his girls not having STDs.

Hi guys,

I was in La Ceiba in September, and was stayed in La Ouinta a couple of days. I don't know about the other reports but La Quinta was not chica friendly at all. Even when I brought girls through the back entrance in a parking lot, the security stopped me telling not to bring girls. So I moved to other hotel near central park which was cheaper and 100% chica friedly. It was about 20 dollars a day with a descent room (I totally forgot the name of the hotel). It was a few blocks North of Pizza Hat.

Staff in this hotel was very friendly. One night when I was hanging around a lobby, one of the hotel staff asked me if I need a girl for the night, and he started calling girls!!

Mongering scene in La Ceiba was totally dead unless if you are looking for meeting locals assuming you have enoungh time and speak Spanish or know somebody there. I hardly saw attractive pros during my 2 weeks staying in La Ceiba. I did meet and enjoyed a few locals but needed patient and time to take them to bed since they are working girls and staying with their families. I had to make and fix arrangements to meet those working girls which was very frustrating.

Overall, although pro scene was totally inactive, if you have enough time and speak Spanish La Ceiba is still a good place to visit since locals are quite friendly.

You guys are scaring me...I'm planning a great trip and it sounds like all of the action is gone.

I haven't had much trouble finding non-pros or semi-pros in La Ceiba. My Spanish is a little bit above mediocre. I pronounce the words correctly, I use the correct tenses, but occasionally make mistakes. I can understand what people say, if they speak clearly. When meeting girls in La Ceiba, I generally start speaking Spanish very poorly (so they know I'm American) and then go from there.

As far as meeting the women, I'm a light-skinned, black person, that's still in great shape (though I'm getting old) so I fit in with the crowd. I have no fear of talking to women that I don't know. From traveling to Honduras and other countries, I've learned how to show that I'm interested in them and want to have sex with them, but not be so overt that it turns them off. Also, a dinner at Ricardo's (I believe it's Ricardo's) makes them melt and only comes out to about $30-40 for 2.

For semi-pros, my luck has been hitting the bars on the street that runs along the water (same street as the Partenon). I generally bring a book, sit out in the sun and read, if I see an attractive woman, I will stop reading and try to buy her a drink. Generally, if they accept, they are available.

I've changed my plans for my trip to February, I checked and January is still the rainy season. I like to sit out in the sun by the pool, so I figured I'd wait until February.

Everything is alive and well in honduras: I have lived here since january and will assure you that woman are available and practically at no charge whatsoever. The Mango Tango and la Palaya are a great attraction/ice breaker, and if ypu are paying for activity you are definitely being foolish.

The language does present a barrier but even medioire Spanish has bonus points. Just the basics go a long way and over time learning Spanish accidently will happen.

Ricardo's is a joke: half these women cannot use a knife and fork properly and finger food is the key. Take them to a "typical" restaurant and watch them come alive - we are talking food in their manos, and what they are accustomed to eating on a daily basis. Not only will they appreciate this but you will save a shitload of money in the process.

Just remember the old adage: a fool and his money soon part and the honderanos are wizards at this process. Every gringo living here is hip to losing his pie to a larger pension.

I should be in La Ceiba February 15th - March 1. If anyone wants to get together and hang out and chase women. Let me know.

For those of you that are there...how is the weather? I booked in February because there is a lot less rain than January, but I still see it averages 10 inches of rain in Feb. I thought 10 inches wasn't that much but then I looked at the February rain total for Seattle and it only averages about 5 inches here...and it rains everyday.

I know that rain is different there, like someone dumping a bucket of water on you vs. 28 days of drizzle like Seattle has, but I'm hoping to see some sun.

in february 2004, 3 weeks were added to my vacation due to february rain! the airport shuts down quickly in a decent downpour which you described perfectly. good news is that in a matter of six months or so, la ceiba will once again start receving international flights. but there has been a lot of rain lately, more than usual.

use a little caution chasing the younger ones, my friends; an elderly (71 year old) american was arrested for having fun with **** girls, and is on house arrest. the honduran constitution prevents someone his age from going to jail and the natives are definitely restless. there is also a little known law (to gringo's, that is) which allow a 15-20 year old chica to take you to court when she turns 21 years old. not at 22,23,24, only that year. something about being young and impressionable, or something to this effect, and definitely aimed at someone who has substantial means. but face it, poverty in the usa is practically middle class in honduras.

too bad you couldn't have made that trip a couple days earlier. dia de amor is a beautiful site to see with all those gorgeous women in the zona viva. new strip joints too; the congo bongo has the usual dive downstairs but opened a second joint upstairs. and, the chinese restaurant across from gordo's doesn't serve chinese anymore but serves 'sushi' upstairs. but beware; the chica's drinks are a whopping l. 120 for what appears to be a drop of flor de cana. and naturally, lets not forget the propina since they did find time to separate you from some money. the other places run about l 60 for the drink.

and we cannot forget comrades; all hombres are checked for weapons prior to entering yet 'las chicas' breeze through like it's nada. anyhow, last week a chica whipped out a pistola chasing the bouncer and emptied out the joint quicker than a molotov cocktail flying in the air could hit the floor and explode.

lots of robberies too. i have always believed that these are a matter of convenience, opportunity, and circumstances and never feared wearing my submariner and other jewelery. attitude, just a matter of attitude and not being a stumbling drunk. i am however, entertaining the idea of selling the watch and going the $10 special because maybe i have just been extremely lucky and like playing the lottery, sooner or later your time will come.

and those thinking of using the hotel safe; several friends who have used this have been ripped off. $200 here, $400 there, but one dear friend was hit for $1900. if you can believe it, the thief was kind enough to leave him $200. management isn't interested either; the only two people with the keys are you and the manager, and he isn't going to give you any money back. you can open a savings account or use your own atm card every day.

wow, honduras has some strange laws. i'm not overtly concerned about the ****d thing. though i like them younger, the us is prosecuting people that go to countries and have sex with minors. 18-21 is perfect for me and it keeps me out of trouble.

i travel quite a bit and i've learned my lessons about honduras and theft and robberies. i generally bring several hundred dollars in cash and my debit card. everything else i expect to get stolen. i divide the money up and put an even amount in several excellent hiding places. i've never had anyone find any of my hiding spots, but if they do, i will still have money. my debit card is very, very well hidden. when i first enter the country. my money is in a plastic bag, duct-taped to my leg right below my crotch. if i'm robbed, i will give up my wallet but still have cash and my debit card. i have 2 old credit cards that i keep in my wallet so that the robbers will believe that they got my cash and credit cards.

my first year in honduras, i got 1500 lemp stolen the very first day (back when it was 12 lemp to $1). i met a girl at cherries and took her back to my room. i had 1500 lemp in my shorts because i didn't want it lying around where she could grab it. she lifted it right out of my shorts. she was talking to me and suddenly ran off. i thought...weird. 5 minutes later, i realized what happened. another year, before i got more creative with my hiding places. i would put some money in my pants pocket, or in a balled up sock, or a shirt pocket. someone went in my room, found the money in my pants and the simply grabbed almost all of my jeans and left probably thinking there was more where that came from (i assume it was hotel staff). i only lost 500 lemp that time.

my passport has always been my biggest concern but it has never been stolen.

as far as robberies, i have never been close to being robbed. i think it may be because i'm a short, black guy and i don't really stand out like a tall, blonde, white guy. i know better than to wear shorts in the evening (it screams tourist) and i know better than to get stupid drunk. last time i was there, quite a few americans at the hotel were robbed out on the streets, but it never happened to me. i remember once, i was standing outside the partenon at around midnight. there was an obvious american guy (wearing shorts at night and...a hawaiian shirt with sandals) walking down the street. there were two guys walking about 30 feet behind him and two guys across the street and they were all watching him intently. he was completely oblivious to what was happening. he never looked behind him, he never checked his surroundings. i yelled across the street that there were four guys following him and his response was, "i can take care of myself."

that same year, i almost got into trouble but i don't think he was trying to rob me. i was at the bar across from the partenon and a guy asked me for 1 lempira. i should have told him no. the smallest bill i had on me was a 5, so i gave it him. he was insulted that i gave him a $5(?!?). he kept telling me that he wasn't a piece of shit and kept getting angrier and angrier. i decided it was time to head back to the hotel (where the security guard was out front with his automatic weapon). i left the bar and he came out after me about 30 seconds later, just as i got close to the gate he came running after me, i ran inside and the security guard came out ready blast his head off. he stopped dead in his tracks, called me a few names and left.

for the record...i could've taken him easily :> but i didn't want any trouble.

four more days, i can't wait. i'm flying continental in and my layover is in houston.

thanks for the info about the rain. i will make sure that i'm in sps at least one day before my flight takes off (even if i have to take the bus). there was one year when i decided that i was going to catch a flight from la ceiba to sps on the same day my flight left sps. i booked with taca, the taca plane never showed up. i was in a huge panic and the people from taca kept telling me my plan would show up...eventually. my flight from sps was leaving in about an 1 1/2 hours and i knew the flight to sps was 45 minutes. a plane for sps from islena airlines showed up and people started boarding it. i tried to bribe the attendent to get me on the plane (it didn't work). so i paid him $20 to hold the plane while i got a ticket. it took 20 fucking minutes, but the plane didn't move an inch until i was on it. i made my flight and then i submitted my ticket to taca for a refund when i got home...they never paid me back. i would freak out if i went to the airport and it was closed because of rain.

No idea where flights will originate; I just heard this from a very reliable source. It will be a pleasure finding Taca is not the only game in town. Seems we all have some disappointment with their service and policies.

Oddly enough, it seems most natives do not realize that this isn't just another $10 watch. Citizen has one that is similar and there has been occasions where taxi drivers noticed and this worried me. Not the older drivers, but the younger ones who probably gangbang in the noche.

Nevertheless, time is running out and it must go.

That passport is a big concern; didn't homeland security change laws that basically state that if you lose your passport (American or not) you cannot re-enter the USA until another is obtained?

Actually, shorts do not scream tourist; we all wear these less the Hawaiian shirts. Being moreno, you definitely have an advantage but again, be saavy. I recall Shorty one night in the Bacalao pulling a machete out of the inside of his trousers when a chica tried stealing L. 40 from him. I walk Naranjal to the zona viva (exercise) every morning and see the same faces everyday. Trust me, black, white, whatever - they know you are not local.

I too, barely give money to beggars; it's never enough and no way am I digging into a pocket allowing them to see how much is there. Worse experience I had was walking one morning down San Isdiro. Standing in front of the Iberia Hotel was this locito, sporting a 4 foot piece of broken plate glass. Naturally I crossed the street about 150 feet from this guy, yet he crossed as well. One more time I crossed, and he followed, but I thought it best to continue walking since the last thing to show them is fear. Anyhow, he rambled how he was trying to get to tela and already I had a L.50 in my hand and gave it to him. Needless to say, I grew eyes in the back of my head walking away from this nut. And you are correct about trouble; right or wrong, it is us that go to jail.

I spoke with my novia last night and she said is is raining gatos y perros. Another front is heading south via the USA, so pack that umbrella. Al mentioned going to Thailand and I have not seen him. Of course, he may have whacked someone with that ax handle and landed in jail. Al must be the exception to the elderly on house arrest only rule, eh?

Enjoy your trip,

GG

On my last trip I found out that while brothels may be legal in one city they may not be legal in the next. For example, Tegucigalpa allows brothels as long as they comply with health requirements for having the workers periodically tested. However, Comayagua prohibits brothels in that city. Comayagua once had a burgeoning brothel industry during the 1980's when the nearby airbase was filled with hundreds of gringo soldiers as a deterrent to border incursions from Nicaragua. The women would sit out in front of the brothels with lavish make-up and scant clothing waiting for the gringos to arrive in the evening. Eventually the public got tired of seeing the gringos and their putas around town, not to mention the fact that many young women were choosing this profession instead of staying in school. The local men also got tired of the gringos taking the best looking girls back to USA at the end of their tours. Finally the mayor had enough public support to ban the brothels and run them out of town.

TACA (Take A Chance Airline) once left me stranded in Miami and didn't even have the courtesy to pay for my hotel room. After that experience I took my business to American Airlines and Continental even though it means that I pay a bit more. TACA is the preferred carrier of most Hondurans would travel with everything including the kitchen sink.

Last year the thieves made off with about 3,000 Lempiras, that was my contribution to combatting poverty in Honduras. Luckily for me it was my decoy wallet and not the real thing with my credit and debit cards. Dividing up money in different locations and opening a local savings account for extended trips is a must in Honduras if you don't want to be cleaned out by the ladrones. Never give beggars a Lempira, when you stop on the streets or put your hands in your pocket to take out money too many things can happen. As for the passport issue, I keep a photocopy of the first couple pages just in case the real thing gets stolen. I hope that the copies along with some other form of US photo ID would help the embassy to issue me a temporary passport as least to re-enter the country. Anyway, I hope that I never have to find out if this would work or not.

Like others here, my passport is of more concern to me than money or watches. I carry copies with me and leave the original well buried in my locked up luggage. Never had the need to find out if the copies would work.

I know in Thailand they do check more often (I've never been checked there though) and if you have copies, there is a chance you will be taken in and need to prove you have originals.

I'd still rather take that chance than carry the original.

I've had good luck in Honduras and never been robbed, had a bunch of encounters in bars where the local guys didn't like this (early)middle aged gringo with my beautiful, young Hondurena, but always managed to talk my way out. I'm pretty big, in good shape, but still will do whatever I can to talk my way out, don't like the odds when I'm the only American around.

Also have been in line too many times where the guys in front of me pull guns, knives or machetes out and check them at the front door of a club or bar.

My old Novia had relatives in one of the worst Tegus areas and when she walked there she would always wear old clothes, no jewelry and cover her head to look less attractive (and wouldn't let me go).

I also tend to wear long pants and quieter shirts in foreign countries, except at the beach. My old novia said that very few locals wear shorts, and I noticed she was right (This was in Tegus, but applied in other cities, and countries). It didn't bother me so did so. I believe as Generous Gent said, that the locals know if you are a tourist, but at least if you don't dress like one, they tend to think at least you may be a resident, or long term visitor with connections.

Just as a general note re: Latin America I got to agree with Michael1967. I never wear shorts except from my hotel room down to the pool.

I once posted on this site some time ago (I think it was the Dominican Republic board) that in regards to mens fashion - "The City of Miami is the southern most city in the western hemisphere where it is both considered fashionable and socially acceptable for men to wear shorts."

Unless you are a young teen or a perspective maricon ;) stick with the long pants no matter the time of day or no matter what the temperature is!

Of course, being a white guy with dark blonde hair and probably standing a head taller than anyone else in the country, its not likely I'm going to blend in no matter what I'm wearing! :D oh well........

Creatures of the night could be the exception, especially with the complexion of cooked yuca and genneros. Many years ago as a tourist I wore jeans and trousers, and understand what you're saying. La Casona, Monasters, etc., could be the exception however elsewhere in the zona viva (in shorts) isn't a big issue unless it is Saturday night. And again, Comrades will be filled with local gringo's wearing shorts. Since the zona viva is a ghost town in the day, take a hike to el centro and see all the gringo's (including myself) opting for comfort.

And a friendly last note; Is it safe to assume that perspective maricons never wear trousers or jeans?

I know La Casona. I never heard of Monaster or Comrades. What and where are they? Do local talent go there? Is El Mussol still open? Lastly, is Cherries still around? Last time I was there, Cherries was more dangerous than walking the streets at night...but I had a helluva time there.

Monasters lies between the Bacalau and Las Chicas, next door to the Partenon hotel. Monaster's is a complex with two other clubs inside; Kabalas (sp), and Samba. Comrades is across the calle from Gordo's and the pollo joint next to the Bacalau. In fact, there is a disco inside between the pollo place and the bacalau - this place is huge, and I have heard it has a lot of action since this is like Prostituta's row anyhow. El Mussol I am not sure of; I believe it has closed. Comrades is a hot spot considering where it is.

Sunday thru Friday are decent nights at the tittie bars. I've never had anything stolen from my person and always sat in the sofa sections. Again, wearing shorts will give you a groping good time, these chica's want you to buy them out and a hand 'up' the shorts is a great start. I've sat there on a Sunday night with four different women trying to keep my (ahem) attention.

Las Chicas next to the Partenon hotel has reasonable chica drinks, while Las Chicas 2 (the old Chinese restaurant across from Charleys) has double pricing. And remember, there are two bars next to the hotel - upstairs on the left and the downstairs on the right.

I'd suggest getting out of the zona viva once in a while, and visit el centro and the mall. You are definitely missing out on a LOT of local talent, and this talent is free except for cena at Mango Tango or lapalaya. Take advantage of the various ladies nites, as they all love to dance. Just walking and making eye contact can do it as you are well aware of, and a simple 'hola' could make a beautful night since these women fuck first and ask questions later.

Okay, I know I'm an idiot, but I tend to have a few too many beers and look for the one GFE that will change my life. I've read all of the cautions on how to hide one's cash in separate decoy wallets, etc , but my basic question is this: regarding going out and about in the Zona Viva. Is it feasibile to rent a bodyguard/taxi driver to collect you at the end of the evening and how much would it cost. And I don't want to be paranoid, but can you be robbed by the taxi driver? I really don't want to stay in bed terrified the whole vacation with the f**in sheets over my head.

You are exactly what they are looking for...someone drunk running around. You probably need to make an American friend (I know this sounds bad but, never trust the Honduran men, especially if they speak English) to go out with you. They can keep you out of trouble. A taxi/bodyguard won't do you one bit of good because when the going gets tough, the paid help start running (or they join in).

Lastly, if you ever pay someone in advance for a service. You just gave them free money. If you see them later, they won't know you. So having someone to pick you up at the end of the night is great. They may show up to get you... if something better doesn't come along.

Luckily, I have some weird gene in me that shuts down my ability to drink right before I'm truly intoxicated. I usually get a decent buzz going, but not bad enough to not know exactly what is happening around me. I drink all of the time but the last time I was actually out of control drunk was 13 years ago.

The trick to get the ultimate GFE is to get the girls drunk and stay lightly buzzed yourself. The best sex I've had there is with girls that got wasted, loosened up and got really raunchy in bed.

I finally made it to La Ceiba last night. I´ve already broken an important rule...

1. Do not speak to Honduran men, especially if they speak English.

Last night, I met a Honduran guy and he talked to me for a few minutes in English. Later on, at night, I was walking down the street and he approached me on a bicycle and asked me to give him 20 Lemps. I nicely explained to him why he wasn´t going to get money from me. Not thinking too clearly (I´m out of practice), I kept walking down the street. He kept pleading his case for me giving him 20 Lemps. I kept telling him no and then suddenly I realized that no one was around. Remember that the US deported many gang members back to Central America. Since the guy spoke perfect English, I assumed he came from the US.

I tried to wave down the taxis but they weren´t stopping. He was still being very polite, but I realized that he could pull out a gun or a knife at any moment and I would be screwed. I gave him the 20 Lemps. He rode off and then the taxis stopped for me.

Other than that, not much action. Very hot women at La Casona, I will go after them tonight. Last night, I was sick from a raw hamburger I got at Applebees. Went to both strip joints at Coco Bongo and watched several attractive women dance. I gave the more attractive ones money (about 3 or 4 bucks). When they wanted me to buy them a drink, I told them I would rather give them money than buy them a drink. It would cost me less money and give them more money. They didn´t seem to have a problem with that.

Saw several of the women I used to screw in previous years. Time has not been good to them. They were all about 20-22 and I wouldn´t touch them if my life depended on it. Of course, they think that I still want them.

Lastly, the Partenon is a borderline dump. I still like the pool. So I´m happy. Also there was a young hottie swimming in a white T shirt with no bra on underneath. She was not in the least embarrassed that she was basically topless and her nipples were poking out. Whenever someone would look at them she would start playing with her nipples. I was ready to grab her, but it appears she has a boyfriend there.

..........many MS-13 members (La Mara Salvatrucha) got one way tickets home over the past year. Many returned to north Honduras. The funny thing about the situation is - many of this gangs members came to the United States as children and have illegally resided in California and Texas for so long (their entire lives) so they don't even speak Spanish very well!

Caution is always warranted. Nice reports Michael!

Since we're on the topic of security I'll add one of my experiences here especially for the younger guys. One day I was walking down the street and I heard a Honduran male calling to me in accented Spanish, I didn't turn around and quicked my pace. Then the guy yelled out, "Hey you motherfucker!" I kept going without looking back. I didn't have to stop to tell it was a gang member from the Mara Salvatrucha, I had observed them before and knew the lingo.

Anyway, I realized that I had fucked up and inadvertently attracted MS-13 attention. I had dressed in such a hurry to run an errand that I didn't realize that I had put on a plain white T-shirt with no logos and a pair of blue jeans. In other words I was dressed pretty much like a local gang member, a potentially fatal mistake. Another thing to keep in mind especially for guys in their twenties or younger, if you have any tatoos keep them covered. You don't want to be mistaken for a rival gang member. MS-13 and MS-18 members kill each other all the time over turf. Some of the cute young hotties have been sexed in as members so be careful who you're messing with, I saw a gringo get cut up by one after he screwed her and she caught him walking in the streets with another girl. Make sure that you pay to play and be clear that it's just business nothing more.

President Maduro's military crackdown on the gangs made them get off the streets for a while but things are still bad. Remember if you get attacked you're on your own, the locals wouldn't help because they're terrified of the gangs.

i had a wonderful opportunity to spend two weeks in honduras recently. i finally had the time to write a report. i visited roatan, la ceiba and utila. not to complain, because i did have a wonderful time, but it's not exactly as advertised.

those who know me understand that i wife hunt as i monger. unfortunately i have to say that honduras doesn't seem to have what i'm looking for in high quantities. i'm mostly interested in the 18 to 21 year-old girls without kids. as a rule, i do not sleep with pros.

my traveling buddy is a white guy in his mid 30's and i'm in my 40's. we landed in roatan, found our hotel, and promptly hit the night life on the west side of the island. we did see quite a few nice ladies but i had no takers. i bought a few drinks for girls and did some small talk with my broken spanish, but no luck. also to my surprise, my buddy only managed to pick up a very ugly caribbean black girl in her early 30's, and with disgusting cigarette breath. she did have a very nice slender body and would probably have been ok for quick poke up her ass. he carried on with her a little, but soon became thoroughly disenchanted and dumped her. also a funny note, there was a lot of country-western music played in these discos. roatan is obviously not a good place to pick up girls. we left the next morning for la ceiba.

in la ceiba, we found the third world, but in general we did not see abject poverty. many people were well dressed and i saw a few nice cars as well. i met a nice caribbean black girl in the marketplace who easily passed for her early 20s. to my unhappiness, after i had invited her to a small restaurant with her friend, i discovered she was 33 and had five children, and of course was definitely looking for a husband. it was an embarrassing scene, because i met up with tastytang, another member of this board, while i was trying to figure out what to do with this girl. the girls friend was latina, chubby, and unattractive. i will not forget the comment that tastytang made to my friend asking, "so you're going to take a hit for the team?" "hell no!!!!" was the answer basically. both girls came back to the hotel but my friend bailed, instead heading up to zona viva. when the girls realized my friend was leaving, i could see the unhappiness in the latina girl. so the black girl i was with made an excuse that she was on her menses, left her phone number and they both disappeared into a taxi.

went to la casona on wednesday night, which is ladies night. talked to several ladies without any significant success. bought a few drinks. really no luck. i thought to myself that maybe it's because i'm black and these girls don't realize that i am american. but my white friend struck out as well. in one desperate effort we picked a table where sat six ladies, and bought a round of port royal beer for all, and then tried to talk. no interest whatsoever on the part of the ladies. we got the impression that this place has been really worked and that these ladies have had more than their fair share of foreigners. after about an hour i lost all interest in girl hunting as i couldn't even find a dance partner. so i pulled out my $200 play station portable put on my headphones, and played a few missions of grand theft auto in liberty city, right next to the dance floor. my friend kept trying but ultimately struck out. toward the end of the evening, two black girls invited me to come sit at their table. one was slender and i liked her. but it was her chubby friend who liked me. i bought them one round of beer. we spent some time on the karaoke side of the club. i said what the hell, so i invited my chubby girlfriend to my hotel room. but she said she couldn't because she had to work the next day. then she asked me for taxi fare. i pretended i couldn't understand and started speaking english, and told her i needed to get my friend to help me interpret what she wanted, and i disappeared quickly thinking this girl was just a waste of my time. just as well. i thought the night was a total loss, but my friend had received an anonymous note, in english no less, to meet someone the next day.

thursday night was also ladies night. we tried it again at la casona. this time i was much more conservative. i pulled my psp out at the very beginning, and began killing mafia henchmen. well my friend met his anonymous admirer, as she and two friends showed up and sat at our table. all of them were latina. one of the friends was really beautiful, and i immediately started flirting and asking her to dance. but she wasn't into it and soon left. after that, i had my wing man's girlfriend driving around liberty city on my psp, and that really put the hook in her. my friends girl was tall and truly i wanted her. but i had to settle for the remaining friend, who was cute, but not tall.

we adjourned to the hotel room. how wrong can a guy get. my short little cutie was quite animated and was possibly one the best lays i've ever had. her little hips could grind and thrust and her hands massaged and scratch my back. she was very passionate. she pushed her tongue deep into my mouth as i gushed my load deeply inside of her and shuttered with her own orgasm. in the meantime, my buddy states that he was having possibly the worst lay of his life. his girl would not suck his dick, and she had to be masturbated by hand in order to get her to orgasm. so the next day, he tossed her. unfortunately that meant that my sweet little angel stood me up the next evening for our date to applebee's restaurant and another night of passion. and we talked about how actually we both wanted the others girlfriend. :) how sad but true. :)

the next evening we tried a different nightclub, mostrars, or something like that, and we really saw a lot of girls which we would have classified as middle-class or upper middle-class. and they wanted nothing to do with us.

the the next night we walked up and down zona viva, as there was some sort of celebration and several live bands were playing. there was a nightclub near the casino where we saw several hot chicks. unfortunately, my chubby black girl from la casona was there and immediately descended on me for not calling her. i told her to meet me at the hotel later, which she did, but refused sex. she asked if she could come to the hotel the next afternoon. and the next morning, my buddy and i changed hotels.

and incidentally, we spent many hours in the mall, and my only hit was ****d. screw that crap. i like my freedom more!

we had been in honduras for week, and has struck out with numerous hot little babes. we had decided just to head back to the islands for a week and scuba diving. we were in the market when i bumped into the first black caribbean girl, the one who had been on her menstrual period. and she was unhappy that i had not called her. i thought to myself, she's 33 with five kids. not the kind of girl i want to take home, but what the hell. i made my purchases, and asked her to come to the hotel with me. i actually had a very pleasant afternoon with her and make love three times before dinner. she was a very good girlfriend experience with an incredible attitude. oral, anal, pretty much anything i wanted.

i thought that would be the end of our short romance. i told her of my plans to go to the islands, specifically utila for the week. guess what? she made arrangements to leave her five little gremlins in order to accompany me.

and so the three of us boarded a ferry and spend a few days of sunshine, beach, and swimming with dolphins and whale sharks. i was actually glad to be home so i could get some rest. swimming all day, and making love to this girl all night for a week was fantastic but at a price. i'm exhausted. i did decide to give her a hundred dollars for her trouble and agreed that we would continue a relationship.

my ultimate observations are that there are plenty of young girls, but locals seem to have much more luck than newcomers. if you're into paying for it, you will find it. i did talk with several locals. most of the details i have left out, but basically once you have the lay of the land, it's practically money for nothing and chicks for free.

also i expected to find very high crime and spread my money between several places in anticipation of being robbed. however i never felt threatened or concerned. i think if you're from a large city like new york or los angeles, you will not feel to out of place with respect to the crime.

i do plan to return to honduras, however i think it will be more prudent to spend a lot more time with local expatriates rather than freelancing on the next visit.

excuse my typos! :)

I´m hanging low on reports but I´m in the city and doing okay...not fantastic. Went to La Casona on Wed. Struck out. Thursday...La Casona...JACKPOT, Friday Comrades...Jackpot...oops, it´s was a girl I did about 6 years ago...she´s now 23 but doesn´t remember me.
She wants to be my girlfriend, but I know better.

Saturday, I met up with a friend who now lives here. Blew off the chick from Friday night (and boy was she pissed). Went to La Casona, was hit on heavily by my idea of perfection. I wanted to talk to her but my friend wanted to leave and go to Monastarios. Ummm. Wow. Danced with several young attractive women and then went to look to get laid (it wasn´t going to happen there). My friend found an incredible hottie whose boyfriend left her stranded, in the rain, with no purse or jacket. He took her to his place. I went home alone. Sunday was hell. I´ve had a girl at the mall smiling at me all day, I´ll go talk to her when I get done here. I´m moving to the Hotel Paris. The Partenon is a dump and I can´t handle it anymore.

I´ll do a full report when I get home.

I´ll do a full report when I get home.I should've mentioned avoiding the Hotel Paris; there have been a LOT of gringo's getting ripped off using the hotel (room) safe. Seems the manager doesn't really give a rat's ass anyhow. Speculation being he is the thief himself. The usual reply to all complaints is that the money was probably stolen by the girl you brought into the room. I highly recommend the Hotel Italia. Less expensive than the Paris, better security, and no problems.

Okay, I'm back home, my girlfriend is on vacation and can actually write about this...

I arrived in La Ceiba on a Wednesday and though my friend that lives in La Ceiba told me not to stay at the Partenon, I checked in there anyway. The first thing I noticed was that they got rid of the main entrance and everyone must enter by what used to be the back gate. It was $22/night and the guy started showing me rooms. Every room he showed me, the lock on the back door was broken and anyone could hop from balcony to balcony and get in the room. I refused them all. I then remembered that my friend stayed in a room and he put a mechanism on the main door to his room so that he could put a padlock on the door and then did the same thing inside for his balcony door (this was 4 years ago). I asked to see his room. Sure enough, everything was still there. No one had removed them after 4 years. I took his room and went out and bought two padlocks.

The air conditioner worked (at least it made noise), but didn't issue cold air. There was a phone on the nightstand but the cord was cut. The toilet ran all day and the place was just run down. While I was at the hotel, as I was going down the steps, one of the concrete steps disintegrated while I was walking downstairs (it had several cracks in it and finally just came apart). They fixed it two days later, but it should have never gotten that bad. Also, I was walking by the pool and I stepped on a piece of ground by the pool and it caved in and my foot got stuck. I weigh 180lbs so it's not like I some fat dude, but I felt like it.

Anyway, Marlena works at the bar at the Partenon again. She was there before Caesar worked there and got fired for fucking one of the customers about 7 years ago (or so I was told...but I do remember her fucking one of the customers). She's back and she speaks decent English.

The prostitutes now hang out across the street from Comrades. There are about 10-15 that hang out there. The depressing part is.... they are all the same girls that used to hang out at Cherries 7 or 8 years ago. Quite honestly, there were only one or two new girls there. They all wanted 500 Lempira. During my trip, I took a few back to my room and their fucking was really uninspirational. They knew what they were doing, but after like 15 minutes they were too tired to go on (of course that didn't stop me). The second one I took to my room, Amy (I'll get to the first one later), I first met her when she was 16 and truly hot. I didn't touch her then but I spent about 6 months kicking myself after I left. She's 20 now (and about 20lbs heavier and she has a gold tooth), but I took her back to my room anyway. She was fun to be with, did all the kissing and stuff, but after about 30 minutes she was begging me to finish. I'm not a big fan of condoms, but the one good thing they do for me is that they remove sensation enough where I could honestly go for hours and not finish, so I went for about 15 more minutes and then imagined how she looked 4 years ago and then was able to complete the act.

I went out later on and had some prostitute calling me names. I then found out that Amy told all of the girls that I fucked her and didn't pay her. I guess I conveniently forgot all of the bullshit that goes on in La Ceiba...Amy did this so that none of the other prostitutes would fuck me. She knew I was there for 2 weeks and I would have to come back to her for more. I learned how to handle this many years ago. The next night, I approached Amy in front of all of the other prostitutes and asked her why she lied about me not paying her. When I was done with her, she admitted in front of all of the prostitutes that I paid her and that she lied (she didn't apologize though), but I should have paid her more for taking too long. I told her that with some women I'm done in 5 minutes and others it takes longer, it depends on the amount of effort they put into it.

Anyway, I had no problem getting the other girls to go with me after that, but all them just didn't have the energy...

more later...

Nice report. It´s interesting that I just wrote a report about the street scene in SPS and it echoes the same thing that you are talking about , that is the street scene is not very good right now. The girls are just too damn LAZY. They want the money but don´t want to do any work at all, or they suck your dick three times and then they are tired, and some of them just want to hassle you or argue with you. I don´t know anything about the street scene in Ceiba, but I can tell you that it´s quite bad right now in SPS.

Across the street from Comrades there is a chicken stand, a place called DLee2 and another bar that I don't know the name of. The prostitutes and wannabe prostitutes hang out in this area. There are also a bunch of degenerate men that try to con the gringos. They bothered me the first couple of days and then a few things happened. 1. I got pissed off and would ignore them or be very rude to them. 2. I bought the security guard that works the area chicken (about $1.75) 4 or 5 times. 3. I bought the bouncer at Comrades a few beers. 4. I met a really nice guy, that was really large who hung out in the area and would buy him beer occasionally and sometimes chicken. Between me being rude to the degenerates and the three people that I made friends with that would immediately stop anyone from bothering me, the guys decided I wasn't worth the trouble.

My third night in town, I met Angel at DLee2. The bartender at DLee2 was a former prostitute (she's about 32 now and too old), but she was the girlfriend of someone that I knew 7 or 8 years ago. She remembered me and we spent a lot of time there talking. Angel was there that night and the bartender assured me she was a good girl and not a prostitute (wrong!). Angel then wanted to buy me a drink. This got my attention, because I've never had a woman in La Ceiba ever think about spending money on me. Instead, I bought her a drink and we started talking. She told me about her job and blah, blah, blah. I kept looking at her and she was covered with tattoos, but the thing that caught my eye was the teardrop tattoo underneath one of her eyes. That tattoo supposedly means that you've been to prison. She also had letters tattooed on each knuckle...it reality, she looked like the girlfriend of a gang member. I was leery, but in my opinion she had the perfect body.

There is a specific body type that I like, and if I'm paying for sex she must fit profile (otherwise it's not worth it for me). She must be between 5' and 5'4", must have toned legs and a large ass (not a wide ass, more of a bubble butt) most importantly, she cannot have any type of fat on her stomach. If she has boobs, it's a bonus, but not a requirement. One reason I like Latin America is that almost all of the women wear heels which make their legs look nice.

Back to Angel...

So I spoke with her for a while and as we were talking, I realized that I had screwed her about 6 years ago. It was a decent fuck, but nothing to write home about. She was 23 now and looked much better than she did six years ago. I figured she must have went straight because I was told she was no longer a prostitute. I took her to La Casona and (as usual) we danced for about 10 minutes and she was tired and out of breath (I think the women here need to get into shape). She then tells me that she has to be at work at 6AM (it was about 2AM) and that she wants to go home, but first.... she wants to spend some time with me in my hotel room.

I grab her and we race back to my hotel room. At the door, I had her wait outside while I "straighten up the room". I then went and hid my wallet. I had her come in she rips off her clothes and then starts in on me. We were making out heavily for about 15 minutes and then .... she didn't have a condom...but I could fuck her anyway.

Nope...not gonna happen. My last trip to Honduras I caught chlmydia and the only reason why I still have a girlfriend is because my doctor told her that I had a "prostate infection" and if she didn't take antibiotics it could also affect her also. She did it without asking any questions (on the other hand, my ex-wife the RN flat out told me I full of shit when I told her a had a prostate infection).

What kind of prostitute doesn't carry condoms? So, she put her clothes back on and then the question came. "Could you give me money for my baby"? I gave her 200 Lemp (very generous) and then...could you give me money for a taxi? (what? 200 Lemp won't get you home?) so I gave her another 20....but she lives far away...I gave her 20 more. This was the other thing I forgot about La Ceiba. The girls try to nickel and dime you to death. She promised to return the next day with condoms because "she likes me" (me gusta a ti). I made a point of not being at my hotel when she showed up (but I got busted anyway).

I went out to DLee2 and picked up another girl and brought her back to the hotel to finish the job that Angel started.

Okay, I found my notes and I fucked up the names. In part one, the girl's name was Wendy not Amy. In part 2, the girl's name is Angie not Angel.

This post is about Ebony...

After being in La Ceiba for a week, I had been laid several times by the street girls but nothing was really that great. I was at the Partenon and was talking to Marlena and told her about the lame sex and asked her if she had a friend that would like to meet me. Marlena got on the phone and within 30 minutes Ebony arrived.

Ebony was not my type. She was beautiful and most guys would have been thrilled to have her, but she didn't do it for me. She was a light skinned, black girl (she may have been from Mosquitia or however you spell it). She had a gorgeous face and a nice smile, she was 19YO and was about 5'5"-5'6" and about 115lbs. She was wearing some incredibly tight jeans with heels and had an incredibly small waist. She also had the biggest tits that I've seen on anybody that small in my life. In general, when a girl has tits that large she has a large stomach to go with it. This girl had huge, natural boobs...which would have been great if I was a boob guy (though I was fascinated with them).

She sat with me a few minutes and seemed sort of shy. I was hungry so I figured I would take her out to eat, get her drunk and then come back to the hotel and fuck her. Boy was I wrong about that...

I took her to La Palapa which is a new, expensive (for La Ceiba) restaurant, next to the new, expensive (for La Ceiba). I believe the hotel is called La Quinta Real. I went in to check pricing and it's $75 per night. I felt really out of place at the hotel. The women were dressed very nicely (as usual) and the men were wearing suits or nicely pressed slacks and shirts. I walked in with my shorts and sandals and asked what the rates were, I got looked at like I was pond scum. Anyway...

So I discovered La Palapa my first day there. It's slightly expensive...cocktails are 45 Lemps and the food ranges from 50 Lemps to 300 Lemps with the majority of the dishes running in the 150 - 200 Lemp range. I love the fajitas which were 79 Lemps. I took Ebony there and she ordered the shrimp platter (199 Lemps). I didn't care about that but we seemed to have a little communication issue. I was communicating and she was sitting there looking bored. This is how our dinner went:

Me: Do you go to school?
Her: Yes.
Me: What are you studying?
Her: I'm studying to be a secretary.
Me: What year in school are you?
Her: Second.
Me: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Her: Yes.
Me: Ummm...brothers? sisters?
Her: Yes.

From having kids, I know if I want to get her to speak, I needed to ask open ended questions...here's how it went....

Me: What kind of music do you like?
Her: Techno and Trance
Me: Techno & Trance, where can you find that kind of music in La Ceiba.
Her: Yo no se (I don't know).
Me: What are your favorite groups?
Her: Yo no se.
Me: How about your favorite song, do you have a favorite song?
Her: Si.
Me: What is it?
Her: Ummm...yo no se.

I did this for about a 15 minutes and then we sat there in silence. It wasn't an easy silence, the TVs were off, there was nothing that she could do to avoid paying attention to me, so she sat there staring off into space.

I finally explained to her that I'm taking her out for a nice dinner, I'm going to take her back to my hotel and she will make some good money. I said the only thing I want from you is to pretend that you're interested in me for the next 3 hours. This means that you talk to me and pretend to care about what I'm saying. It's only a few hours and then you can go home.

She apologized and said she will talk to me. We then sat there for another 10 minutes in silence until the food came. She took one bite out of her shrimp and said one sentence to me (in English...the only English she's spoken since I met her). "Please buy me a phone card." I said back in English, "What the hell do you need a phone card for, you don't say anything?" She didn't understand me, so I repeated it in Spanish (without the hell) and she smiled and stared off into space again.

At this point, I was done. So I pulled out my book and started reading it. She took a bite from her second piece of shrimp and said that she had to go home and call her mother who is in Guatemala. She asked for a box to take the food. She gets her box and we leave the restaurant...and you all know what happens next. "I need 100 Lemp for a phone card". I gave it to her (I just wanted to get rid of her). "I need 30 Lemp for a taxi". I gave it to her. She then tells me she will stop by my hotel at 9PM. I told her not to bother and she left.

I got back to the hotel and told Marlena what happened and Marlena was pissed off. She called Ebony and told her that she needed to get back to the hotel and fuck me...right now. I told Marlena to forget it and to call her back and tell her to stay home.

This was on a Tuesday and nothing much happens on Tuesday so I went to the two strips clubs next door to the Partenon. I got a little drunk and staggered back to my hotel at about Midnight....Ebony was there. She said she started her period that evening, but she will still have sex with me if I wanted her to. I laughed like the drunkard that I was and started going upstairs. She ran after me and said she needed money to take a taxi home. I laughed again and went to my room and shut the door.

I'm not a big fan of the strip clubs but I went to three during my time in La Ceiba. I went to the two next to the Partenon. One was called Coco Bongo and the other was called Chicas 2. There was a third one about 2 blocks away towards Comrades that I didn't stay long in.

Each bar charged 65 Lemps for a drink for the girl and cost 1000 Lemps to take her out of the club.

Chicas 2 was horrible. They had about 12 songs that they played over and over again. The dancers were okay, but 2/3rd of them were pretty much overweight (in my opinion). The Honduranian guys liked the larger women, so I guess that's fine. I was treated very well there (I tipped the bartender) and he made sure I wasn't harassed to buy drinks for the girls. There was one ugly girl that kept bothering me and he stopped her right in her tracks. Since they only had a few songs, you'd figure they could play them without a hitch, but that never happened. After every song there was about a 60 second to 5 minute delay for the next song and the dancer would just stand there waiting. The bathrooms were lovely...none of the toilets worked and they just put one bucket on the floor to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) in. They had sinks but there were no faucets in them.

Coco Bongo is owned by the ex-wife of the guy that owns the Partenon. The quality of women were far superior and the night I went there after the Ebony debacle they were auditioning new girls to work there. They had 5 or 6 girls on that night that had absolutely no clue about what to do. I was in heaven. There was one really hot one that I handed 40 Lemps to after she danced (I prefer to hand them money over buying them a fake drink and giving the house a bunch of money) and she just about fainted. That night I got a lap dance from every girl in the place, I grabbed, I kissed, I fondled...the works and when I carried my ass home at midnight I realized that I had only spent 700 Lemps (about $40) AND I had bought myself at least 5 or 6 drinks (at 25 Lemps each). I think that night was the only time in my life that I felt I got a good return from a strip club. It didn't occur to me at the time, but I should have set up a date with a couple of them after hours. I'm sure I could have got them for 500 Lemps instead of 1000 (1000 is too much to pay for a potentially lame fuck).

I mentioned 3 strip clubs. The third one is not worth going to at all. It made Chicas 2 seem classy.

There is a strip club near Comrades (called simply Chicas) that I was told it was 165 Lemps to buy a girl a drink (on here). I don't believe it was true. I'm sure it was 65...but they probably charged him 165 because he was a gringo and felt that they could get away with it. I don't visit places like that...so I didn't go.

That Ebony story was great! I can imagine the dinner. By the way "I like you" is "Me gustas" I always get mixed up using the verb "gustar" too.

Michael,

Judging from the dismal conditions in your report, I would say that it's time to move on and find a new location with quality putas who have a good work ethic.

I know it may appear that I was having a shitty time in La Ceiba, but in reality it wasn't that bad. I have several priorities for my vacations:

1. There has to be lots of sun (I live in Seattle and there is no sun here, I looked like Michael Jackson before I got to La Ceiba). I missed all of the rain and there was only 1 rainy day and 2 rainy nights while I was on vacation.

2. I need to have a pool to sit next to.

3. I need to be able to catch up on my reading (I usually bring about 10-11 books)...I read one book each day I was there.

4. I need to have good nightlife.

5. I need to get laid easily and cheaply (once per night before bed is ideal).

Everything else was going well for me. I spent alot of time with my friend that has decided to live down there. We did the nightclubs and other stuff. He introduced me to quite a few people that lived down there and there were all nice....and hot. The fact that I couldn't find a good fuck wasn't a downer for me. Weather was great. I got a bit of exercise...it was a decent trip.

On Wednesday (the day after the Ebony debacle), one of the manager's at the Partenon told me a girl came by to see me. He gave me her name but I had no clue who it was. That evening, I was cornered by a black girl at D-Lee2 that spoke English who told me that her friend would be there at 8PM to meet me. I had no idea who this person was and I was concerned about being cornered by someone that was going to say I was the father of their child.

Simply because nothing better was going on, I was there Thursday night at 8PM and at 9PM (right on time for Honduras) my girlfriend from 3 1/2 years ago walked in (the one that gave me Chlamydia). She looked incredible. She is now 23YO and had gained about 15lbs, which was actually a good thing because about 10 of it went to her ass. She found out I was in town because Wendy (in part 1... who I accidentally called Amy), hunted her down and bragged to her about he she fucked her old boyfriend.

My old girlfriend and I had a great time several years ago and about 3 days before I left I was told that she was a prostitute and that I was just part of her "evening" shift. I gave her money occasionally, but I spent so much time with her that I was concerned if she was really a prostitute that she would steal everything I owned before she left (I completely trusted her). After I returned to the U.S., I found out that the story about her was a lie and I felt sort of bad about treating her so poorly before I left.

Anyway, we sat down and she told me everything that she had been wanting to tell me for 3 1/2 years (typical woman) and I apologized for the way I treated her. She looked better, her personality changed from quiet to bubbly AND she learned how to speak English. She had been in a relationship with a guy from the Cayman Islands for about 3 years (and even lived there for about a year) and he dumped her right at Christmas time.

Surprisingly, she remembered the names of my daughters, knew how old they should be, she remembered that I had a vasectomy and the circumstances around it (I had a vasectomy with no anesthetic. I told the doctor the entire time he was cutting me that I was in a huge amount of pain and he told me it was my imagination. When he got to the searing part (they seal the tubes by burning them) and I screamed bloody murder, he acknowledged that the anesthetic wasn't working and he would stop and finish another day. I told him that he was never going to see me again, so finish up), she knew how old I was, knew what city I lived in, and she passed the most important test, she walked straight to my old room from 3 1/2 years at the Partenon (if she had fucked several hundred guys at the Partenon over the last few years, she'd have no clue which room I used to stay in).

For me this meant 2 things, one she definitely wasn't a prostitute and two she actually really, really liked me. After talking about an hour, we went straight to the hotel and commenced fucking (with condoms, I'm not a fool). She was just incredible. She was energetic, playful, talkative and we just had a blast. We went at it the entire night and in the morning, she got up and told me that she remembered that I like to sit by the pool and read all day so she would come back on Saturday evening, so I could spend Friday night hitting the clubs with my friend (Jeez, I need to bring her back to the U.S.).

She spent two more nights with me before I left and we just had a blast. I have absolutely no plans to return to La Ceiba or Honduras. This is it...I'm done, I've been 7 or 8 times now and there are better places to go...but...if she e-mails me or calls me, I may be coerced into one last short trip.

My friend in La Ceiba and I will be going to Peru in around the end of September or beginning of October. I will be making several trips to Lima over the next year and a half because I will be moving my family to Lima in the fall of 2007.

I missed some important stuff here, I'll definitely say a few words about the Megaplaza in a few days.

Yes, I´m the same one. See you in September. By the way, to get you psyched up, (maybe), read my long post in the Lima thread, about a page back.

I visited La Ceiba when I was living in the Cayman Islands and got bored. There is quite a cultural connection between the two countries and at that time (quite a while ago) boats from Honduras would occasionaly make runs to and from Grand Cayman. So I took a vessel in dubious condition to Honduras. A trip to remember..the boat got lost, and then when we finally got to Roatan they couldn´t shift the props into reverse and we plowed into one of the houses on stilts´ living room.

I don't want to turn this into a historical discussion but actually, Davide33, the most recent settlers of the Bay Islands, after the "indiginas" (largely Maya), Spaniards, Brits, pirates, etc. were turtle huntlers from the Caymans, thus the three most common surnames in the islands: Cooper, Morgan and Jackson.

I'm glad you made it, but not surprised. They are great boatmen and their unique "dories" and how to handle them seeems genetic! I'd go anywhere w/ one I trustred: Remember their surnames!!!

Love 'em all...too bad Roatan is being ruined re: environment

I've never mongered there...too well known.

Just return from another three months in Ceiba. Incredible that this section is dead. Although Ceiba is not the land of milk and honey, it is the land of affordable sex. I live there, and really don't monger much anymore since I have my girlfriend. But you guys are missing out bigtime because you are not going to spend a fortune getting nutted.

It's not unusual receiving a L.40 -L.50 blowjob. That's like under $2.50 for those not using a calculator. Regular sex can be had for L.100 a pop, and all night under L500. Quality is what you spend - no different than it is in the states.

Strip joints are always a bad deal. High priced beers, at prices which rival that L.40 blowjob! The clubs are basically unobtainable women; stick to the smaller places. The Office is a good pickup, as it the Lapalapa.

Anyhow, lets see a little activity on this board!!

I agree with the comments regarding La Ceba. I just returned for a visit to Honduras that included an evening in La Ceba.

On prior trips the town was dead but a long term ex-patriot assured me things are much better when the schools are out of session. The women all head down to the coast with their girlfriends and kids in tow for a vacation. They often work a bit on the side to pay for the trip.

We found the best place to sit is in the restaurant right across from the new 2-story center on the same road as Parthenon. The restaurant is part of DeeCee2’s but at the opposite end from the bar. If you choose your table well you can watch all the ladies get out of the taxis. They start from this area and return to this area after each customer. Sooner or later, you will see all of them. The local boys also know the spot because they will gradually congregate there also.

The strip club next to the Parthenon has really gone down hill. It now caters to the local workers but an occasional cutie can be found. After having fun earlier I couldn’t sleep so I wandered over to the club and came back with a 600 limp nightcap.

Unfortunatly my poor Spanish cost me when negotiating prices.

Yes, I have known a few women from Tegus that do that whenever possible, or funds get low.

That's way out of whack! If you're trying to pull a stripper from one of the clubs, this would no doubt be the going rate. But in the calle, there are reasonable prices. Check out the Bacalao area; DeeLee's, Comrades, and Charlies.... anywhere you see a few chicas sitting together usually means they're on the night shift. But remember, working girls are working girls - the general idea is to get as much dinero from you as in as little time possible.

There are non-pros out there, but you may have better luck outside the Zona Viva. Just walking down the street and pleasantly saying 'Hola' or 'bueno dias' to these women go a long way. You obviously must be in an internet cafe - look around - any of these women sitting with you are most likely sending imel to an overseas novio, which means they are lonely. Strike up a conversation (trust me- they all understand some English and broken Spanish) and ask for a phone number. It's a third world country with bigtime poverty yet everyone can afford cellphones and tajetas. Mention cena - maybe at the Al Corral or the Ponderosa, and you are on your way to having a novia and all the benefits.

Good luck and happy hunting, keep us informed!

Well, there's your problem. Where you're at it's not enough to look different and have cash in your pocket. You've got to peddle your cock like a starving insurance salesman. The good looking girls are not going to be making you any offers unless you ask for what you want. Also, please stop looking through people; it's obvious they're giving you 100% marked up prices to make to fat profit. Don't be shy, hit the streets and strike up a conversation if something grabs your interest.

Had a great night. Met a pro near Chicas 2 and took her to hotel. She wanted 600 for 2 hours and would not go below 500. This is what a taxi driver had earlier in the day told me was the going rate, so I took it. Great performance.

Later, met 2 girls near La Palapa and had beers with them there and then to disco. They didn't come home with me, though. Not sure if they were semi pros, pros off duty, non pros? But fun evening and nothing lost.

The mall is also good hunting grounds. As the others say, roam around, say hi and you should have no problem.

The nightclubs (not the strip joints, but the ones the locals hang at) are good hunting too. I remember getting ladies talking to me while my novia went to the bathroom.

I realize 500 liempera for a couple hours is a fantastic bargain when you think in 'dollars'. But you are in a third world country and it is imperative you have a respect for the liempera.

You'll notice a difference between Saturday night and the rest of the week. Far more women out in the streets on workdays. There will be lots of Gringo's between Charlies and the Bacalau Sunday night - sort of a slow night and prices for cocita are less expensive!

I am now in Roatan. I had a pretty good time in La Ceiba. If I were doing it again, I might stay in Quinta Real instead of hotel Paris. On the other hand, I had two girls come home with me on consecutive nights and then leave within minutes of reaching my hotel room. I have a third come during the daytime and also leave without doing you know what. The Quinta Real would've charged me $23 per visit and I don't think they would've refunded the money if the girl leaves very quickly.

I met several non-pros who seemed to want to get me to pay for things as much as possible without sleeping with me. I've never really had this before. La Ceiba is like anywhere -- the longer you stay there and the more familiar you become with where to go, who can help you, and what to say, the easier things are.

I did eventually find a girl to go with me to Roatan, but she backed out at the very last minute. None of the girls that I spoke to seemed really keen to go. I offered to pay for everything including hotel, food and a full scuba course. I would also have given the girl a present at the end. As it works out, I'm happier though that I came to Roatan on my own.

Thanks everyone for their help. Why is so little being written about Honduras?

I just got back from La Ceiba and here is what I saw.

The last time I was in La Ceiba was in 2001. All of my buddies who where there then are gone now. I only saw 3 people that I recognized. There are gringo’s ***** mongering but not like the numbers before.

There are some really nice hotels and bars now. A out standing sea food restaurant is, go past the Parthenon until the road stops. Make a left and follow it to the beach.

Hookers saw plenty of them. Night time seems to be the best for selection. Sunday and Monday were the slow days.

At night I hung around Gordo’s old bar. As you walk over the bridge towards the Parthenon it’s on your left. From there up to the chicken place and across the street in front of the disco. Figure around a doz WG or so. They run from light skin Latina to Caribbean. There is a transplant Boston black gal named Ester and man she gives a killer BJ. The chicken place is good eats. Quarter chicken, tortas and soda for 30 lemps. Don’t forget to feed the cat. Across the street from Gordos is a Chinese resteraunt and they say they make a killer fish dinner. Above it is a strip bar but didn’t go in.

At night across the street near the hotel Caracol, some WG hang out. Any where from 2 to 5. One night I was joking and asked how much for all of you tonight and one WG said 1000 lemps.

If you want something in the daytime, go to the rail road track and there is a couple of bars along them. Usually they have a WG in them. In one bar there is a guy named Francisco. Speaks English and is some what helpful but as in all Hondurans it has a price. Usually a beer or so.

Prices: Daytime I was paying around 300 lemps. The girls at night always say 500 lemps but will settle for 300. There is one super hot gal (Alexandria) and she will not come down. One gal we settled on 300. She had a nice set of tits and she blew me for a long time and then I started banging her pussy. Then she said for a 100 more I could fuck her in the ass. I was so drunk and after banging and banging I couldn’t blow my wad. So she stuck her tits in my face and give me a rough hand job. That worked and at least when I started to cum she didn’t stop.

Carmen is still kicking around and she is trying to be a pimp for the girls. One night me and Carmen were talking in a bar and she was showing off one of her girls. She was telling me this girl would suck my dick for a long time and I could bone her at least 2 or 3 times. I made a huge mistake of not asking how much. We got back to the hotel and she said 600 lemps. I said um ok, put my sandals back on and said leave. I was so insulted with that high price I wasn’t going to bargain. Got back to the bar Carmen asked me what was wrong and I told her that no girl is worth that much and Carmen said she would have settled for 400. Then Carmen said she would blow me for 100 lemps um no thanks. For the rest of the night that WG hung out near me. Sorry hun not gonna happen..

The only good thing about Carmen is she speaks so so English and can some what help you but it comes with a price (small). She can be a pain as in late at night she keeps repeating come on I will blow you for a 100 and it’s the best you will have.

Every morning all these gringos meet for breakfast. Along the park there is the hotel Paris and on the corner is a restaurant. Make a right at the corner and walk towards the beach. They always sit in a window seat, a very friendly bunch.

Things to watch out for.

Met this island girl named Suzie in Gordo’s. A black women with short hair and speaks English with a Jamaican accent. We went back to the hotel Caracol and she was an incredible fuck. I was plowing away and she said she wanted me to fuck her in the ass. Well right at that moment I blew my wad. We got dressed and went back to the bar. She said she had some stuff to do and will be back later. Well at 3am I got a knock at the door and it was her. Only this time she looked whacked out. My first thought was she was going to rob me and wouldn’t let her in. In the morning they wouldn’t let me out of the hotel and finally a English speaking person told me that the girl (Suzie) went to every room and got into the managers room and robbed them. She got $450 a cell phone and a pair of emerald earrings. At that point I informed them I didn’t let her in at night but their staff did. Now there is a charge of 150 lemps for women and they have to show a ID. For then on I brought all WG to the hotel Coco (hotel notell).

After talking to other people they all know Suzie and said she is a major thief. She has a long career of stealing from everyone. Why she is still alive is a wonder. She reminds me of a saying, brains only take you so far and luck always runs out.

Met up with this gringo who was set up. It seems that do gooders in the USA are giving the police money and training to run their entrapment. The age of consent in Honduras is 12 for Hondurans (if that) but the age of consent is 21 for gringos. They have these women wearing a mike and she hits on gringos. They go back to the hotel and a few minutes the police bust in. In court the woman doesn’t have to show up. That gringo got 5 months under house arrest. I heard it doesn’t happen all the time but now and then.

Careful of taking pictures of the women/girls. The people are very sensitive about it, especially of little girls. I was told they may check my camera at customs. I had two memory cards and the one in the camera was a nature shots. A couple of people told me this. .

i just got back from la ceiba and here is what i saw.

the last time i was in la ceiba was in 2001. all of my buddies who where there then are gone now. i only saw 3 people that i recognized. there are gringo’s ***** mongering but not like the numbers before.

met up with this gringo who was set up. it seems that do gooders in the usa are giving the police money and training to run their entrapment. the age of consent in honduras is 12 for hondurans (if that) but the age of consent is 21 for gringos. they have these women wearing a mike and she hits on gringos. they go back to the hotel and a few minutes the police bust in. in court the woman doesn’t have to show up. that gringo got 5 months under house arrest. i heard it doesn’t happen all the time but now and then.a major change in immigration/visa protocol; the central american free trade thing went to extremes, and a visa obtained in honduras is accepted at all border crossings. which actually means you can go to el salvador, nicaragua, and guatemala on that visa. a small charge coming and going.

the big deal for expats is visa requirements - when that 90 day visa expires, we cannot take a 3 day trip to a bordering country because the visa is universal; it's all the way to costa rica, belize, or mexico. unless something changes quickly, many gringos may decide to live a little closer to that outside cafta country.

one member of that 'breakfast club' was arrested for kiddie sex; because of his age, he really received a decent break. if it is the one that was publicized, he was not set up. last i heard he was back at home, but you are absolutely correct - the authorities are certainly cracking down on **** activity. again, what defines ****? 21 is aways the safe bet, but everyone has their argument for 17 or younger. years ago some television newsmagazine did a special on costa rica and **** girls and with all the dateline specials doing the same here every week, it's probably going to happen in honduras sooner than later. i have a good friend who visits frequently and had a thing for 18 year old girls which should basically be no problem. however when he reaches customs, they harrass him because face it - even 28 year old girls in honduras look like they're 15 years old, and therein lies the problem. the safe bet? mail whatever you think may present an issue back to yourself prior to departure and definitely think with the big head....

actually i met him at the breakfast club and he is still there. a very knowlegable man, well almost. i asked him when he goes back to the states will he be charged with the mann act and he quoted what the mann act entails, which he wont be charged with.

its joke down there. why chase gringos when some of the locals are worse.

if you walk past the rail road tracks (away from the partheon). people will ask if you want to buy some crack. all out in the open.

after talking to big stan, he told me of this one situation.

now no way do i endorse this but this is going on. there is this drop dead gorgeous 12 who is a wg and has a pimp following her around. of course if a gringo takes the bait, a very large porpina will be demanded after.

every so often in gordos i saw a wg go by and i wondered her age and there always the same man following her.

one day in gordos i went to the john and saw a pretty gal sitting alone in the back. we chatted for a while and then the police came in. rather than just patting me down they made me empty all my pockets. then the police took the gal out back and talked to her for a while. when she got back she said they were just friends. at that moment i said i was tired and excuse my self. a set up maybe but didnt want to take the risk. i will post a pic of her.

i would say dont be afraid, if she looks too young then pass. after a few days of being there you will know all the wg and will met up with the gringos and they will point out who is who.

The problem for this guy is the ambassador was notified, and Bush signed that law about 2 years or so ago which means that if he returns, he is automatically sentenced to 30 years. In Honduras however, because is is 70+ years old, house arrest is the max for him. Now I did hear the youngster recanted her original statement, but that appears to be dollars and cents to me. But again, whatever floats their boats.

One morning while laying in bed watching the noticias, a young man at the bus terminal in Ceiba was pinched for drug trafficing. Seems he had 30 lbs. of Marijuana neatly packed into one kilo packages. Not very interesting news until he mentioned buying this for 150 Liempera per pound! Crack and coke are readily available just as you mentioned, and 100 Liem buys what $100 buys in the states.

Incredible you were harrassed in this fashion! Perhaps you were more fortunate than you realize. I have been living in Ceiba since January 05 and have never seen anything of this nature. Then again, I haven't participated in the hobby in some time but still understand the game. Stan is a personal friend; he does have a thing for his housekeepers though, eh? In fact, another Stanley was shot to death last week; I was worried this may be our mutual friend, and I was relieved it was not.

Across the street from Gordo’s some guy had a argument and he went out to the middle of the street and fired off a few rounds in the air. Oh don’t forget carnival was coming up and the president was going to be in town.

So the police REALLY started to crack down. They were stopping cars and frisking everyone in the bars.

Me and Stan were patted down and he said that was the first time for him.

About Stan and his maids well he did have a few stories about them. One was some maid or GF had her family over and I guess when he turned his back they helped them selfs to the kitchen and made ketchup and peanut butter sandwiches. They tried to hid it behind their back as they walked by him but it dripped out.

This is frequent and definitely scary. One night my novia and I left the Seaview after a night of dancing and decided to go have a late night cena at the Mango Tango. Unfortunately this was Monday or Tuesday night, and the place was closed. We decided to walk to DeeLees for pollo, which wasn't an issue.

I was talking to another gringo after ordering two portions, and as I looked at my novia sitting next to me, some slimeball touched her leg with his hand. This guy just received his order in a bag to go, and I looked at him and asked him what the fuck he thought he was doing. This guy pulled a 9mm from his waist, and pulled the slide back, loading it. he pointed it at me and I told him 'no problema', over and over as he walked backwards pointing the weapon at me. I honestly thought we were going to be shot. Needless to say, I am definitely more cautious and don't exactly bring my novia into these places anymore.

Stan has a thing for hired help; they usually cook, clean, do laundry, and clean 'pipes'.

Ever go into the Palms bar and grill while you were there?

Esther's a trip; she does have a very particular talent that keeps us going back for more. Last time she tooted my flute and swallowed the music she brought the little one with her. Kind of weird in my opinion, but the kid's still an infant/toddler.

I recognize the sister of the one you experienced problems. She usually wears knee high boots with a miniskirt. Charlie knows her very well - in fact, Al tried hooking me with her a couple years ago saying (hehe) she was a goodgirl. She has a lot of sisters though - if I remember correctly, about 10-12 of them.

There is another new joint on San Isidiro close to the zona viva (primera calle?) which is run by Cayman's. It was a billard parlor at one time. This place is supposed to be incredible - loads of women just waiting to be taken out. Maybe worth a look.

Here is a picture of it

Currently it is in renovation. Across the street the bar is now a pool bar. Every time I walked by I didnt see any women in there. Next to that bar is a bunch of chairs and the old caymens hang out in the day time.

There is a new cayman bar on the main strip near the beach. As I heard it is high class and they do not let WG in, but I could be wrong. When I looked in it looked like a very nice bar and had some gringos in there.

For all those looking at la Ceiba and never been there.

Basically its cheap place all around, hotel, eats and women.

Of course it’s a third world country so you have to some what watch your stuff.

There is a dock with rail road tracks. On the other side of it is crack town. That is where you really have to watch your self. Day time is some what ok but night is a different story.

The only problem I have had is petty theft.

Chasing women and drinking is one thing you can do but there is others.

There are plenty of outfitters that can take you on nature hikes, rafting, kayaking.

One outfitter I used took me out to the hog keys. That was spectacular.

You have to get out into the country side. It is out standing. There are beaches where I was the only person on them, for miles.

In the years I have been going there they have been building up the area with some really nice hotels.

There is enough people there who speak English so usually its not a problem if you don’t speak Spanish. Knowing a few words will get you by.

What is the best way to get here from SPS airport...and how would one get to Roatan island as well...is that even worth it...looking at 9 days in March down there...

Corndog

As you pass customs and walk out the one way door, look to your right and there is a door to let you into the main airport.

At the far end of the counter there is a number of small island hoppers you can book a ride on. The only problem is if you arrive late in the afternoon they stop flying. But there is a hotel near the airport and SPS has some strip bars.

After you get your ticket you have to pay the departure tax before you can go into the waiting room. They dont take travelers checks and you cant charge it. Cash only.

Aerolíneas Sosa: http://www.laceibaonline.net/aerososa/itinera.htm

Atlantic Airlines: http://www.atlanticairlines.com.ni/

Funnily enough, all the airlines have similar schedules...

First time in la Ceiba was 1973. Did a session in a downtown place and got the crabs.
2nd visit was 2000 staying at Partenon Hotel and got scabies. I don't ever want scabies again. Not easy to get rid of.

But I still miss the place. I like La Ceiba.

The Cafeteria Cobel in the center of town is one the best value, clean restaurants I've ever been to. I'm sure it's still open. Go to the back room-it's got A/C. Cheap and good comidas. Nice people.

How is the Partenon these days? It was a great deal in 2000 if you forget the Scabies! In Feb/early March it wasn't near full and weeekly and monthly rates were dirt cheap.

Partenton hotel remains relatively inexpensive; somewhere in the monthly range of $200. It appears a lot of folk do contract Scabies there as well. There is a bar soap which smells like diesel fuel but knocks it out fairly quick.

Lots more places to eat besides Cobel... but I remember the good old days (1979) buying a bag of 20 baleadas there for 10 liempira. National beer (1985) was 25 cents.... how times have changed. Honduras is still reasonable but definitely catching up with it's northern neighbor when it comes to food and drink.

Go to the bus station in downtown Sula and there are buses. I took one about 6:00 pm one evening and it took a couple hours. Very interestng trip. Numerous stops along the way. I was a little nervous, but actually it was safe and not a problem. There is no station in Ceiba so the bus will drop you off at a vacant lot, but there will be cabs waiting to take you to your hotel (or wherever) in Ceiba.

Tupsa (chicken buses) are schoolbuses and not made for long distances. Definitely uncomfortable, and all those roadside stops; you never know who is boarding and this is scary. The alternative is Hedman Alas; It's a Mercedes Greyhound type of bus with a snack, beverage, and movie included. It's about double the price of the chicken bus but certainly worth every cent. A little faster too, and they have their own stations. I couldn't imagine being at the Lavinia bus depot in SPS in the night!!

Watch out for pickpockets. I was picked a couple years ago walking in the sea of people on San Isidiro late at night. I should have known better, being from New Orleans and knowing how Bourbon street here can be. A long story short, I lost $200 in Liempira and a money clip. The gold money clip hurt more than the $200.

And if you are seriously considering this trip, definitely check hotel accomodations; this place fills up fast and they may be booked solid. You certainly don't want to find yourself roaming the streets like a homeless person.

There are different parties every (Mon-Fri) night in different barrios. Saturday of course, being the big one. Salva Vida for everyone!!

Downtown during the parade, and the Zona Viva later in the evening, will be bustling with more people than you could imagine. Not all of them have honorable intentions, so watch for the few that do not.

A little difficult walking around town let alone trying to navigate a moving vehicle during carnaval. Cars are readily available and scooters may be too. It would seem the theft rate for these on the mainland would be incredible. They kill for bicycles; and this is motorized....

The best hotel in Ceiba is the Quinta Real, they will require you to register the girl as a guest and pay $10 additional at night, no problem bringing a girl during the day as long as she is dressed appropriately. Several low class strip clubs in town, Chicas II has about 12 girls working any given night, girls will hustle chica drinks for lap dances, can evolve into full contact, but drinks are expensive Lps 60 single and lps120 double, equates to about $6. 50 for a double, girls earn bracelettes for each drinks.commission is Lps. 15 on a single and Lps 30 on a double, mgmt does not like girls doing lap dances or any contact without chica drinks, small dingy room with love seat onsite, most of the buisness is geared for take out, onsite 30 minutes (tiempo corto) is lps 500, off premise is Lps 1800 for 1-2 hours depending on your negotiating skills.

Nice Hotel on the beach and within 10 min walk of mostof Zona Viva. Reasonable Chica policy. So far, what Chicas I have seen with the punters are older and more sophisticated in dress and mannerism. Age range is mid-20s to mid 30s. Hotel Policy (official? Not sure) is to register the guest with ID (same as "normal resigistered guest") and a $10 charge for additional person in room. Keep in mind this includes breakfast the next morning.

As of 5/17 There is a lot of younger action on the main street parallell to the beach, but quality varies from high 8's to some very questionable 3s.

The dance parlor behond the Two China night club across from the bar Barbacelo has some younger semi-pros working (or were they just girlfriends out having a good time and flirting with an Extranejo? It really is hard to say here). As the doorman Ivan (? ) to sort you out. Ivan is a black Honduran about 6' tall. For a coca-cola or two he'll point out some of the regulars, he speaks a little English. You'll know him, he's the friendly lad that insists on patting you down. Don't expect much from the dance hall, but it is a good gathering place. Beware of the ones with the very glassed eyes and that distant look. From speaking with locals, there is a local problem with cheap drugs and cane alcohol.

carnivalito - 5/19 barrio iman.

one of the smaller "pre-carnival" activities. a carnivalito is a small carnival, more like a block party really. beers - 14lps on street stand. grilled meat plates, little tacos all sort of street food between 20 - 60 lps.

girls a plenty. the night started out as a **** to teen "beauty contest".
then as it wore on, he activities became more adult. lots of young chicas, but decent spanish is a must.

travel advisory:

these carnivalitos are crowded. the locals know each other, so do the theives. they can spot an outside without the traveller being conspicuous. let alone if one is not. case in point: a yank, presumed to be a newbie, with a very passionate (and cute) chica on one arm, bluetooth in ear cruising in front of the bandstand. targeted by no less than 2 or 3 groups of pickpockets. his blue tooth blinking rob me! his chica tugging on his shirt exposing (inadvertantly?) fat wallet on his right rear. finally, one young boy, about 8 or 9 years old made a run at him, and . . . . . . missed! finally, the punter figured out that something was amiss and left.

during the day, the small hawkers one to three blocks south of central park sell thin wallets that the locals favor, they fit in the front pocket and allow a traveller to lighten up a bit for the night. there must be a reason the locals use these.

beware of the really hot, made up, done up to the 9's cigarette girls at large public gathrings. the first thing to hit you is, when most cigarette girls (small round pan with a stand, selling cigs by the individual piece and small candies) are the less atrractive poor women trying to make a living, these girls are dressed like they're clubbing in south beach miami. they are usually accessorized well and glitzy. generally they apply make up much too frequently and are just very over the top.

welcome to the world of the local tvs / tss. it was actually hard to tell after a night of hard drinking. they looked like pretty girlies . . . .

a good place to have a relaxed drink after the hustle and bustle, happy days bar on calle 1. if you're an out of towner, talk up the door man o'neal. he speaks english and knows a few honest chicas. amazing what a few cokes or 30 lps get you.

there are always a few sws sitting (yes, they don't even walk back and forth here ) in front of dees ii or barcalo bar. the taxista knows them. mostly 4-6s but they're available like an all night drive through.

chicas ii is a notorious rip off as previously posted on this forum, but if one is industrious, it is not hard to get the girls to comeout and play before work or take a few days off. the girls don't make that much and a few hundred limps will get some phone numbers to call back later.

helps to have a non-us or unlocked gsm phone. buy a local tigo chip (25-30 lps) and 100 lps - 250 lps worth of minutes. inbounds are free anyway.

happy hunting!

I made it to Carnival this was my first time I will be posting my report and pictures as I write it and resize them.

Day1
I arrived at Tegus on the Thursday the 24th to find my boy and Maria (from my first trip) waiting for me in the airport. I rented car exchanged some currency then headed to Comayagua. From there we drove to La Ceiba, the ride took about 5 hours. The car I had was small with a four cylinder engine, it was great on gas but sucked in the mountains and when passing other cars. Driving in Honduras or any other third world country is crazy! First off all traffic signs and signals are mere “suggestions” at best, it was like playing a video game. Maria and I arrived in Ceiba after dark and the streets were full of activity, I saw what looked like a few SW’s. Maria did not know how to get to the hotel; I realized this after driving around for about 20 mins. I pulled over so she could ask someone on the street for directions, they conversed in Spanish afterwards I asked where to and she would point straight ahead. She did this three times, really pissing me off cause I was tired hungry and had a headache. She had a very carefree attitude as I was the one who had been up since 4AM. Finally I got a taxi to lead us to the Hotel. There was a large crowd in front of the hotel. We stayed in La Quinta which was right around the corner from where Carnival is. Across the streetfrom the hotel there was a Popeye’s, next door was a Dounk’n Donuts and up the street was a mall, KFC and Pizza Hut, all with in walking distance. After checking in we went to the room showered I got a BBBJ and hit it. Then knocked out.

Day 2
I got up around Noon walked up to the Mall with Maria who was annoyed that I slept so late. Apparently we had missed something anyway she was starting to get on my nerves I was beginning to wonder if it was a good idea to have her there with me. At the Mall I purchased a cell phone for 700.00 lemp about 36.00 US. The cell phone later proved to be invaluable (thanks Jungle Bunny). While making my purchase I was having a hard time understanding the sales clerk. She and Maria would talk in Spanish but Maria wouldn’t translate. When I asked her if the price was good she would just smile this stupid smile. After buying the phone I said to her the reason you’re here is to help me so I don’t get taken advantage of, I don’t know what’s a good price or bad price here so I need you to talk to me. Again she gave me that stupid smile. I lost it and told her “you need to open you Fcukin mouth!” She got mad but so what.

After that we had lunch at Popeye’s, while having lunch her sister text her asking if she could stay with us. She told her sister no. I took her phone from her and got her sisters number. I called her sister back and told her she could stay with us. I also saw she was texting with some other guy in La Ceiba. Later that evening I asked my boy about her sister, he told me that I would be able to get at her too and that’s why Maria didn’t want her staying with us. After eating I went back to the hotel grabbed some more z’s banged Maria again then we walked the Carnival route there were lot’s vendors in the street selling what looked like junk to me. I didn’t see what any street walkers around. We walked down to the beach and out on a rickety pier then back as it got dark the street was becoming more crowded. We had dinner at an outdoor restaurant that served “typical” Honduran food. After dinner we returned to the Hotel and around 12AM we went to Leonardo’s disco. There’s a street that runs parallel to the beach on this street there are a string of Discos and strip clubs. Leonardo’s was cool, though at first I was a little skeptical, it’s a black club I didn’t see any white Gringos in the place and only about 10% were Indian. There was a lot of Garifuna being spoken and the age group was I want to say 16 to 25. The guys were all thugged out, jersey’s, sneakers, ball caps, chains and boot’s. They mostly play reggae and reggaeton. My boy told me he had the same impression as I, his first time there but that the place is cool. There were some fine Phat ass women up in there after a few drinks and dancing a little with Maria my boy points out Lisa on the dance floor (also a chick I met my first trip). I go out there to say hello and she immediately shows me her engagement ring and a photo of her Fiancé a solider. I smile and say my hello and walk away. Sometime later she and I go outside to talk, I get her number then we go back in. I’m kicking it with my boy on my fourth Corona feeling nice and Lisa comes to get me to dance. We make our way to the dance floor and she’s grinding all up on me, then a slow song comes on and we are dancing tight and sweaty I’m kissing all on her neck palming that ass and she’s looking at me like she’s in love. After that we hit Fantasy a strip club next door about 5 strippers in there nothing great full nudity. It cost 600 lemp for a half hour in the back room. I didn’t ask about take out. From there we walk over to another strip club in the other side if Leonardo’s I forgot the name. This spot was bigger and the girls were better looking though nothing better than a 6-7. My boy bought a girl a chica drink and gave me the lap dance that came with it. Here it was about 800 lemp for an hour in the back room. Again I didn’t ask about take out. We went back to Leonardo’s found my boy’s girl and left with out Maria. I got back to the hotel after 5 AM, Maria was already there. I was happy to see she wasn’t in my bed. She woke up to ask me where I been, I ignored her and went to sleep.

Day 3

Around 6 AM I heard a knock at the door and some noise in the room I awoke the next afternoon to find Maria’s fine ass little sister curled up at the foot of her bed looking like a gift! This girl was 21, nice brown skin, Phat ass, tits a healthy C cup and a cute face!

I took Maria's lil sis out to brunch. When we reurned to the room Maria was up and the two of them went out. I met up with them later down at the Central Park during Carnival (the Parade) the streets were packed. I took some pics and video. They had a friend with them who also wanted to spend the night in my room. I agreed thinking another one I could do. After the parade was over I hung out with my boy a bit then called Lisa. We met up and went to Pizza hut for dinner. There are two Pizza Huts one by the central park and a new one across from the Mall. After eating I put her in a cab and sent her back to her hotel then walked to mine. I would of taken her back to my hotel but I did not know who would be there. It's a good thing I did'nt because Maria's sister was there. And yup I hit it! At first she was'nt with it because of her sister I convinced her Maria and I are nothing more than friends (it was'nt really hard i think she just needed to hear it). That coochie was so tight, warm, and wet. I told her I would'nt say a word, she was also worried I'd tell my boy also. Shortly after we finished Maria called her and asked for us to meet her and the other friend by Cental Park. So we headed out.

The streets were Packed there were stages set up every couple of blocks. I had to walk behind her holding her waist to not get seperated. I kept palming her ass the whole time and she would just look back and smile. We met up with her sister and friend and hung out for a few before going back to the hotel so the three of them could change for the club.

We went back to Leonardo's same vibe as the night before. I saw my boy there so I'm chillen with him and the girls were of doing thier own thing. Then they come over to us each and every one of them had a drink. I'm like this is some B.S., here I am provided shelter, food, drinks cab fare and paying these tricks way into the club and not one of them thought to buy me a drink or even offer. Any how theres a chick there with my boy and his girl they introduce me to. She was feeling me but I was'nt feeling her. Then another group came over and joined us and Lisa was with them. I went and bought some drinks and handed Lisa one. My boy told me later that when I gave Lisa a drink the girl that was feeling me gave lisa a dirty look. I was just kind of chillen there and that song "Nobody wants to see us together" by Akon came on and Lisa grabbed my hand and it was off to the dance floor. We danced most of the night.

Afterwards we went to a bar down the road for something to eat me my boy his girl and that other chick. She was sweating me hard but I really was'nt interested. I could of hit it but I decided not to after eating i went back to the room. Maria was in my bed and the other two were in the other, I had half a mind to jump between the two. But I was tired. When I woke up the friend ws gone. We checked out around noon and headed back to Comaygua. On the way back lil sis made a lot of eye contact with me in the rear view. I was kind of ignoring Maria most of the way back, just staying quiet. I know it was getting to her because she kept trying to talk to me. I just wanted to get back to Comayagua and get rid of her.

When I arrived in Comayagua I went to the Santa Maria Hotel. I told Maria and her sister to wait in the car while I checked in. As I was finishing checking in Maria was coming into the Lobby I quickly walked her back outside (did not want her to know what room I was in). Her sister was already by the curb waiting for a cab. Marias bags were still in the car, I took them out and walked her to her sister. A cab stopped and I put the bags in and began walking away. She looke at me like wheres my hug-kiss or something, I waved and said see ya! (haven't seen or spoken to her since)

The rest of this will be in the Comayagua section.

I had a quick "forced" layover in La Ceiba before hitting the Bay Islands. The taxi guided me to a strip bar called Chicas II. I had been there before on a previous trip. So I had no great expectations, it is located on 2nd floor over a Chinese restaruant on the strip in the zona vida. Absolutely dreadful place no ambience, pitiful decor and a nerve wracking sound system, girls danced 3 song sets, but music was never cued up properly and long gaps betwenn songs and between sets. Chica drinks were 60 sencilla and 120 double (about $3.50 and $7), pretty high for this part of the world. Some private dances offered in the back in exchange for the chica drinks- full nudity, touching everywhere. Anna was the best of the 9 girls working, I would rate her a 7, eager performer for Lps 700 (about $37) you go to a private room with a stuffy old sofa for 1 hour, BBBJ, daty, fs, multiple positions, 2 pops. A fair value for the money, would repeat if a similar situtation presented itself

As part of a long business trip through Honduras I recently spent a few nights in La Ceiba. We stayed at the Quinta Real which is the nicest hotel on town and located right on the beach. It's also within walking distance of all the working girls. The hotel is girl friendly and staff will give you a hard time if you bring someone back at 2 A. M.

Anyway, as soon as you come across the river into the beach area, there is Chicas Nightclub on the second floor in the strip mall lot. Not much dancing going on and the girls are mostly average. Ladies drinks are 120 lps each but you can get a lap dance out of it. It was early and slow so I got two girls, bought them each a drink, and they immediately stripped to thongs and took turns lap dancing. We sat along the back wall and the other girls came to watch and encourage them. The power went out and I took advantage of the dark to pull the thongs down and them my pants. The girls just giggled and pulled me into the back room. 800 lps for an hour, both girls BBBJ, DATY for both, and then finished up with one on the table and the other with her hands on my balls helping out.

On the second night I found the street action doesn't start until late. Around 11 p. M. The bar across the street from Chicas (DeeLites? ) was packed with SWs as was the parking lot around Chicas. The girls don't really walk the streets, they just hang around chatting with everyone. I got quote from 200. 500 lps for FS depending on cute the girl was. I picked one for 300 lps, took a taxi to cheap hotel at the end of road, and spent a great hour with her. She did everything but anal. Decided to walk back to see if there was more action on the street. Stopped by Chicas II and agreed with the earlier poster that it is a dump and should be avoided.

If you are looking for action, try Chicas if you are out early, or just wait until much later and you'll have plenty of choice.

I really haven't had time to post like I want to, I am only on here for a couple of minutes. But I did not return to all of the casas I visited, but I can try to explain where one is. If you are walking out of hotel paris, make a left to the first block and go down two blocks. Go down that street like 7-8 blocks and you will see a wooden club on the left. From that club go down 2 more streets and and make a right. It is the 3rd house on the right. Walk right in! About 6 or 7 ladies there (two of them were twins and were 17. Looked like they were 24) the rest were between 18. 22. 1 of them was butt ugly, the rest were 7s and 8s. Price ranged from 550 to 700 lps. The younger ones were the more expensive but I was a little scared of messing with anything under 18 after reading about the laws Bush implemented (I'm 22 btw). Anyways, if you are an old gringo, be careful going through those parts night or day (not sure if its open during the night, I went during the day) The neighborhood didn't look to safe, with loud a bunch of guys driving around looking for trouble.

Pics to come.

Lets see...The Paris is on calle 8...which means you turn left on San Isidro, and travel to calle 6. That street dead ends into the Massapan school, so you must mean the next street, which is calle 5. The Star gas station on the corner. This turns into a dirt road a little ways after crossing the train tracks, , and into Barrio Ingles. I know, because I live on Avenida Caranas. It's good you hive a heads up on the danger because it is definitely real there; It's fairly well gang infested.

And that law you mentioned is accurate. So many gringos pay little attention to this, but for me...21 years is the golden age. And seeing a cedula is a very good idea. I would never pay 500+ for a piece unless it was todo la noche...you can find it less than half that price, and likely better/equal quality. Incredibly enough, a blowjob can be had for as little as 50 Lempera.

Mister Ecua,

Your directions are not very clear. I think you are talking about the area at the end of the Zona Viva street. There are a bunch of wooden clubs and houses there. One day a say a bunch of police activity at one such house. Yikes.

The idea of a brothel in Ceiba seems kind of cool but the way Honduras is with crime I'd be a bit cautious. Think movie Derailed. I'd probably have my 200-pound Honduran buddy wait on me in the car outside just in case.

Trying get in on the hos kind of sucks if you are just a tourist visiting for a few days. No offense my tourist friends. You need wheels man. Then you can just pull up with AC and tinted glass and park in the hotel parking on "zona viva street" after you cross the bridge. On Friday night around 11 pm there will be TONS of girls so pretty you can't believe it, I mean perfect. They just walk or wait around. You see one you like and send your Honduran buddy to go negotiate. He takes $5 for the favor and is happy. Standard going rate is L. 300 half hour or bulk rate L. 500 one hour. That's for the pros. If you want one a little younger, prettier, less mileage you might pay a hundred or two more lemps.

I'm not condoning sex with a minor, but based on my experience the police don't give a sh*t. There is so much crime going on the police are not going to bust you about sleeping with a woman who looks 25 but happens to be 17.

Hey I am new to the forum but I did happen to be in Le Ciebe and had that girl named Alexandria. She was real nice. Asked for the night but she had doubts about it because I told her it would go on all night long. Got her from a local taxi cab driver for just 20 lemps. She was 600 1500 for the night. No anal. I look foward to going back in January with a buddy of mine. Any updates as far as anyone knows ? Any contacts etc? I will be staying at the La Quinta real. Its a nice place. I have been there before. Just make sure that you tip the bell hop at the door and you do not have any problems. Or if you want to just bring your friend around the back by the pool entrance and not have to worry about anything. Take out chics are 1000 lemps.

NYC...

You are paying far too much for these girls!! L.500 is the going price and generally all night. Dancers are the exception; along with a hefty barfine, they're always the high priced spread. A quick blowjob can be had for L.40 and this is geared for the working man who is making 20 bucks a week.

If they think you're desperate, and have no respect for the Lempera, they'll take you for whatever possible. I would have said 'tourist', but they would need to be blind not realizing this. And this is basically the reason they start high.

Don't trust any hondos. 91% of Hondos don't trust each other so why should you? Always English speaking guys at the Bacalao and they'll be straight with you. Expats may be a nice place but it's not going to get you laid. The disco clubs; not my thing. All teenyboppers anyhow. ANd the barre shows? Bring your wallet; nothing is cheap here, even the beer is out of whack. I mean, a L.9 beer going L40+... thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick to paying L. 15-20.

Hotels... I would suggest the Italia. It's a lot closer to the Zona Viva, likely less expensive than la Quinta, and definitely girl friendly. Good security too. If the night was a slow one for girls, there's someone there who will assist.

Enjoy your trip!!

Thanks for that info. Shame I didn't find this site earlier. LOL. Anyway yeah I paid her 600 for the 1 time thing. Lemps that is. I asked for all night but she wanted 2000 and I laughed at her. She was a nice girl who told me later that she did not want to spend the night because she had somehting to do. I don't believe her but respect her for telling me somthing. Not that I am the ugliest guy there. I really liked the quinta real except for there lock box situation. I had to lock everything up in there office. Suprised about that. I was in the la qiunta the last time I was there and I had my own lock box which was great. The qunita real was real close to the bar playa or somehting like that and had some good times in there. Monesterios I just walked to with a bunch of people from the school there to learn spanish. Had a nice time with them. I felt safe as well. I am a large guy. Nothing spectacular 6'2". Anyway at one point I told the taxi to take me around and I got to see the partenon hotel just past chicas and another night club. He drove me near the beach and pointed out there was a place there in the corner or rear past the partenon hotel and said there was some mongering going on in there. But I never went there. Overall I didn't find there was much to do there other then to girl watch. This hotel italia does it have a pool lock box, etc? Please give me all the details about it. Can't trust that lockbox in your room!! Far too many people have been ripped off and they are not going to refund you a liempera. Never paid attention to a lock box at the Italia, because I never stayed there long term. A night when fighting with my girlfriend (currently disposed of), or in need of a bed for the one I was fooling around with. You have a girl in SPS, and know that chili pepper blood.

I just returned last week, but caught a horrible flu on the flight. Still nursing this thing, and tomorrow night hopefully will be a productive evening. I did stop by the Bacalao a couple times and the usual girls were readily available, however a few new ones were running about. Everyone's looking for money with Christmas next week. And for Corndog; Esther looks terrible! She's definitely cracked-out and looks a little sickly, if you know what I mean..

But it certainly feels good to be walking the streets again....

I will certainly check on that for you; again, I am not sure of lock boxes. The other place you speak of appears to be the Seaview, but there was a strip joint around that area previously. Not exactly the best place to be walking after dark anyhow. About 25 years ago this was a swinging part of town; how things change!!

It was a long day today. Gringo get-together about noontime at the Bacalao, and of course, we can only drink so much. Plenty of women looking for Santa tonight, but I was sort of...well, Salva Vida-ed out. Still dealing with this whatever I caught on the plane and damn happy I am not on vacation because this would certainly blow it. A simple word of advice; take that Airborne stuff they sell and save yourself headaches. I've been here a week and have been sick most of it.

Oh, that novia in San Pedro would never allow you to travel solo to Ceiba... be careful!!

Anyway we will probably stay at the quinta real and do our other business elsewhere. Does anyone know what bars are open during the day? I know about the mall but a bar where I can meet some during the day is nice.

Also when you come out the quinta real from the beach do you make a left or right to pass the train tracks?

Thanks

12-27-07, 12:06
If you're a Quinta Real type of guy, why bother with the Italia or any other for that matter? You'll be in the middle of the Zona Viva, and there are loads of bars surrounding this place anyhow. The Italia however, will likely save you 50% or more on that budget though.

If you exit the left side (looking at the beach) you run into Guapos.. walk down the street about 50 yards and welcome to El Bacalao. There's Gordo's, Comrades, and the opposite direction a lot more. And if you use the side doors via the rear of the hotel near the pools, you should not have any problem with bringing chicas.

As always, there are a LOT of women walking in el centro. A wink and a smile, a buenos dias or whatever goes a long way. There is an abundance of 'free' women here; they all fuck.

The train tracks are back towards the pier; you'll probably see this from your hotel room anyhow, but as you leave the hotel turn right and in a few blocks you'll run into them.

The Italia is behind Carrion Ferreteria, on the 14th de julio, next to Hondutel and the little fish markets. They have a nice pool there, but this is just a candle compared to a lighthouse when you mention the Quinta Real. That pool, is by far the best in town. The Italia however, isn't going to complain if you have some ***** in their pool.

What are the hotels in the Zona Viva other than Quinta Real?

Also, any contacts there?

Also, anyone know how to contact Alexandria?

There are several smaller so-called hotels, but there is a new one recently built called the Versalles. I don't know much about it; but again, will try to find out all possible. There is the Partenton, and surely you have read enough about this place. Just before the lagoon bridge to the Zona Viva, there is the old hotel Caracol; they reopened with another name and I will get this today as well. As far as Alejandra....it's likely you will indeed run into her.

Gg thanks for all that info. What are the names of the clubs? And monestarios is one of them and I think the other is casona. What days are they good and la palpaya when is that a good night? I don't mean to ask so many questions but it will help up to date thsi report on ciebe for all who come after me and for some reason I cannot find a date for each report here on the site. So this should be dated '07. Not sure where I am missing this. I hope someone can show some contact info. For there. Thanks

Lots of clubs....Monastar's is still there but under a different name; the Caste, I think. Lapalaya is still there, and another called Lapalaya Mexicana down towards the stadium. La Cassona... Seaview...there are just a lot and new ones cropping up. Oh, a new clip joint called Fantasee's. I don't usually bother too much with the discos; back in the day when there was the Lido and such, things were different. But there places now cater basically to the younger crowd and well...I am a little older and can't stand all the noise of blaring music. Thursday's was ladies night at the Cassona, and the Castle is Wednesdays (I think). That little classifieds i mentioned usually gives the days and what is hapening and it is free.

I saw the girl you mentioned last night. Hanging at the Bacalao, along with about a dozen others coming and going. Not bad for a Sunday night, and this being Feliz Nuevo ano, should be decent.

Any night is a good night.... often hit and miss but lately a lot of action going on. You should find yourself knee - high - deep in pussy.

Islena is just another freaking Taca flight. If you don't carry your luggage, chances are baggage won't make it to Ceiba that night. I highly recommend Sosa and their online booking does suck.

Not much to report except some of the worse weather on earth has struck the northern coast. Looking at a satellite photo the other night, it was a northeaster storm which if you can believe it, was from the coast of the Carolina's and stretched down to Central America.

Non-stop torrential rains, and hurricane type winds. I live a block from the water and the waves were breaking about 10-15 ft. And consistently; all night long the waves crash 3-4 seconds apart. It's like sleeping next to a waterfall; constant crashing.

Lights blew out along the coast last night and as you can imagine, not much going on in the Zona Viva. Tomorrow's supposed to be the same, so it's not so good. Man, if someone came for a week they would be very disappointed!

She found out that I am going there. Its all cool though. I need to get away from the cold here in NY. Its 8degrees farenhight. That is way below 0 degrees celcius. That picture though sounds good if you have company gent. Are you living there now in la ceiba?

Weather broke a little, but it's cooler and still no sun. No doubt it will turn nasty again tonight, but at least this crap should end before you arrive. We're like in the middle of rainy season anyhow so not a lot we can do except invest in a good umbrella and plan ahead.

Yes, I am living in Ceiba.

started early yesterday, and met up with a couple friends later in the day. we all generally sit at the bacalao, and watch the local talent and see what is what. they tend to look at little better a few salva vidas later, but some really decent ones last night.

sitting with a few friends, one sits down acroos at another table and cleans her face with her tounge like a cat taking a bath. another sticking half her hand down her throat, which we all understand this gesture.

went inside deelees, and just incredible; so many women waiting for deep pockets to walk in and hustle. maybe it was the beer, but some of them looked fantastic.

my friend opted for one of the visitors from tela, but i was at the point where the only thing i was good for was going [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134)-[CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134). call it a night, so to say. a couple insisted they would be there this afternoon so i'll check again, and maybe drink a soft drink. nothing worse than being so loaded and not being nut, but my buddy said the one he took sucked for an hour or so before giving up. 200 liems; you'd never find an american girl this willing!

Thursday night turned out to be productive. Noticed this one hot young thing at DeeLee's eating pollo, and finally caught her when she was on her stroll down the street. An incredible gorgeous young (19) woman; we did the usual small talk and negotiating, hailed a taxi and went back to my apartment.

When a young woman such as this disrobes, it is truly a sight to see. So firm... unspoiled by hijos...firm, perky chi chi's, and tight ass. Anyhow, a great night, definitely worth the L.200, and likely to tag this one again. Name? Oh hell, I don't recall but I'll never forget that face and body. Wet dreams are made of this.

What a world. You think you've seen it all, and then something like this happens. A friend and his wife were at the Bacalao and were drinking with several other friends. I always thought he was a little conserative, talking a little this but no being the actual pig he portrayed.

Anyhow, while the mrs. was preoccupied with a little chit chat, he proceeded to nab one of the local girls and cajole her into the ladies room, lock the door, and proceed to have himself an afternoon blowjob.

A few minutes later and 150 Liems lighter, he emerged to set up a round of Salva Vidas and the little woman never the wiser. Some guys have BIG balls and he certainly gained my respect.

Is there a way to see dates to each report here? It would make a lot easier for everyone here to see updated action. Just a suggestion.

NYCmat the date of the post is right there in the top left corner.

Gen. Gent how do you get those girls so cheap? 200 for all night. The pros I know want 500 for an hour. The younger newer ones want that for a half hour. If I could get a girl as you describe for just 200 per night I would get her every night LOL.

Maby I need to meet up with you some time and you can help me out. Do you think there might be a girl I can get in the day after meeting here there at night. Maby call her some day during the week, say where to meet, etc.

Some locals are getting this even cheaper; 100 lmps and less. All women are negotiable and some will never budge on that price because someone will ultimately give her what she wants. You would be surprised how some start at 800+ and I am not paying that much anytime soon.

Getting a number isn't a problem, but getting a correct one could be. But if you see her tonight and all negotiations work out, you'd better grab her tonight because tomorrow she's like gone and forgetful. All I can say is to sit out at the Bacalao in the early evening near the chicken stand (DeeLees) and you will see some women. But they aim high; remember, you are a tourist, and they know it.
