Got this good one in Chaweng on the way to Reggae Pub just in one of the corner bars. I had already banged all the good lookers in all go-go bars and most beer-bars so just wandered around and wandered and wandered. The situation seemed quite hopeless. But hop, a nice smile!

Sat down immediately not to miss the chance and indeed was she gorgeous! Such an exotic face, very long curly hair. a real cutie. We had a drink each.

Conversation was a bit slow as neither of us could speak more than a few words of each other's language but we got on somehow with a lot of help from mamasan. Soon I popped the question "ha-roy baht short time ok?" (500baht ST). She nodded and off we went. Samui is such a relaxed, romantic place and every time it's just like doing it with your lover of many years.

Maybe because she was so nervous, (I don't know) she started deep kissing me as soon as we entered the bungalow. This became deeper and deeper and soon my hand was buried in her hole elbow deep, and we didn't even take a shower until then. But I supposed she had washed before. The first round was done right there and then in one steamy session. She didn't stop deep kissing for one second, nearly suffocated poor old Mistapenus. She had a gorgeous face and perfect white teeth so I complained not even a bit. It's so hard to get a good kisser anyway.

After some intensive moaning and groaning and screaming (her) I suggested we take a shower. Some real tasty oral action followed from both sides and did she have the pinkiest pinky ever! In great contrast with the black skin. You must have noticed that the real hot ones are always the blackest. (Why?)

Round two was just as good as round one, or better. We both got succesfully totally exhausted. I had to remind her that time was over, 2 hours gone. She might get another quickie if she goes back to the bar, I reckoned. So good for her.

Bye, bye, see'ya later! She got on the motorbike taxi.

Evaluation: Excellent! 30 year old (looked younger). The cost only 200 pay bar, 500 pay girl, 50 taxi, 200 two drinks total:B950.

Have read it somewhere on the Net that Samui hookers are the oldest and ugliest in the whole country. Coincidentally I had the same thoughts so I felt justified. But this only partly seems to be true.

When you look around Samui one can't help but notice the great number of hot looking young thai females everywhere. Except that most of them already have male company. It is quite common in Samui to book a girl for a week, a month or longer and go bike riding and just hang out together all the time. In fact the better looking ones count on this and will not easily go for just "ST" if there is something better in view. All that is left the uglies and oldies (some very advanced ages indeed) for short time action.

If you go to Lamai the beer-bars are quite well packed with reasonable lookers at opening time around 7-8pm but virtually deserted (except for the grannies) by 10pm.

The top lookers in the two go-go bars in Chaweng are often booked out for a week or month at the time, espec. in peak-season. There is a serious shortage of good looking females in Samui's meat trade. Yet if you put in the work, occasionally you will find some.

Just like in the brothels back home, like attracts like. Better looking meat tends to gather together. In Chaweng down the way to the Reggae Pub only a couple of bars have really reasonable looking pussy. One used to be the Elle Pub which closed down just recently. But the one next to it, the Queen Pub is not too bad either. Almost all the hostesses are passable.

If it's not a busy night, you should be able to get ST for B500 and LT for 1000. Some ask more but I could always get it for this much and the performance has been satisfactory or even better.

In the go-go bars of Chaweng for the best girls the asking price is B2000 ST (short time up to 2-3 hrs but sometimes only one hour). They can get this much since of the meat-shortage as mentioned before. I even heard of a story of a girl getting B7000 LT because the place was packed and several punters wanted to take her home. (She is very good looking though!) But if it's a slow night and you are persistent and smile you should get anyone for 1000 ST or 1500 LT in either of the two go-go bars.
All the girls gave reasonable service as this seems to be the norm in Samui. It's such a relaxed place.

The massage joints near the Green Mango are a rip-off. They wanted B600 for massage + handjob or 2000 F/S one hour on site. Who would pay that much? They weren't even anywhere near good looking.

At Pink Panther massage on Chaweng Road ST is B2000 F/S. They look okay but for this money?

Good hunting!

I copied my last two reports from the "other areas" chapter to here (Samui) as this is where they really belong.

Just to explain.

Thanx Mr Jackson for the new Samui folder.

NA THON

There is a Thai brothel on Thanon Chonvithi, on the waterfront, south of the Old Pier, next to the Palace Hotel. After 6PM girls sit outside on the street and at the water. Also you can find it from the neons. Nothing fancy, just a couple of rooms. Massage + boom-boom 1hr B500 for farang. Thais pay less I suppose. Some girls speak quite good English.

Just in case you are stuck in town for the night.

There is also a Thai karaoke place on the road opposite the New Pier, opens at 8PM. It's pretty dark inside. I sat down, got a beer for 70B and nobody talked to me. I don't quite know what is the situation with these karaoke places. The girls just took turns singing, some customers also sang. Sometimes quite well. You can pass time here in the evening. If you speak thai, even better.

The night market in the car park at the waterfront has some OK food and they have Singha and Carlsberg on draft for 100B a jug.

It's quite a Thai town, not much in the way of farang entertainment. But a nice and quiet change after Chaweng.

You can take a great walk (or moto & walk) to the nearby Hin Lad waterfall during the day. You can swim too a bit.

Another nice place nearby is the Tong Yang pier where the ferry arrives from Don Sak. Swimming is quite good there and hardly anybody in the water apart from a few locals and some stray doggies (putting on some 'doggy-style' action occasionally).

I actually walked there from Na Thon but it's really too far, you better off take a moto for 60B.

I agree with the other posts on Ko Samui. I stayed in Lamai and prefer the scene there to Cheweng. It's a little slower paced. The quality in general is no wheres as good as Pattaya or Bangkok. The carnival they put on was poorly done and like a church carnival. It did draw alot of people to the island. We tried a gogo place across from the green mango and had st with girls that had an apartment close by,good service and attitude. In Lamai there are many beer bars but you have to look hard to find an attractive one. Also many hotels have a joiner fee if you bring one back to your hotel. I talked them out of charging me,but it was a bit of a hassle. Also the Baht taxis are a pain, you always have to neogotiate the price in the evenings. The motobikes are better in the evenings.

RE: LAMAI

If you find the block of beer bars around the thai boxing stadium, nearly opposite McDonalds, there is also a Thai-style disco nearby. Nearly opposite actually. It's called "SUPER SUB. The thais pronounce it "sooba-soopa".

Inside a little bit it looks like a go-go. But it's not! The dancers may be the best looking in town (and that means Chaweng too!), but they wear street clothes and not easily will go with you. Most of them actually won't.

They get paid good cash, B15000 per month just for dancing. Plus expensive lady drinks B200! For this, they will talk with you for a while. Great isn't it!

Many of them are top lookers. You can ask the wait staff if any of the girls goes with customer, but it won't be cheap. They can leave the disco only after 2am. The girl I picked looked like Britney Spears' sister (as if she was).

After two drinks @B200 ea she was (maybe!) ready for business but for B5000! I thanked her very much and left. She was a nice girl though, and spoke good English.

The disco is worth a look. And the beer is around B100, cola B70.

Guys I am new to the WSG but have been lurking for a couple of months.

Good to see that there is a seperate section now for Samui, I plan to spend a week in Lamai in late January. From info gleaned from other forums Lamai seems best suited to my style.

I have heard that there are not that many TGs about but hopefully they'll be enough for me!!

All that I need to do now is find a nice guest friendly hotel directly on the beach.

in the news today (bkk post):

thai to begin flying to samui despite landing safety concerns

aims to compete with bangkok airways

boonsong kositchotethana

thai airways international will break into the samui skies long dominated by bangkok airways starting next month, even though the island's airport cannot safely accommodate the type of aircraft it intends to use.

according to industry sources, thai has been pressured by certain figures in the thaksin shinawatra government to embark on two return daily flights on the bangkok-samui route using boeing 737-400 jets. the aim is to break the dominance on the route by the country's largest private airline, they say.

under the licence granted by the department of aviation, the samui airport _ built, owned and operated by bangkok airways _ can handle aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 57.715 tonnes, wingspan of 36 metres and maximum approach speed of 141 knots.

the airport, which has cost one billion baht to build and upgrade over time, has a runway 2,060 metres long and 45 metres wide.

the largest plane it can handle is a boeing 717, the smallest in its passenger jet family, which bangkok airways operates along with smaller atr72 turbo-prop aircraft.

thai's b737-400, with 149 seats, has a maximum take-off weight of 68 tonnes, or about 20% over the airport's existing capacity.

prasert prasarttong-osoth, president and chief executive of bangkok airways, said landing a 737-400 at samui airport could pose safety problems.

he said his firm had no objection to allowing thai to land the bigger jets as long as the department of aviation agreed, though he warned of prohibitive costs related to runway repairs and maintenance.

chalor kotcharat, director-general of department of aviation, said yesterday he opposed using aircraft exceeding the size limit for samui.

``the department only supports the use of small aircraft for samui. there are also questions of the short runway and noise pollution (associated with bigger aircraft),'' he said.

however, an aviation expert said thai could reduce the weight of cargo, passengers and fuel on the 737-400 to meet the limit.

sources say political figures have been pushing thai airways to serve samui to create competition with bangkok airways and bring down fares on the latter's cash-cow route.

bangkok airways, which turned the little-known southern island into a global tropical destination since launching regular air service in 1989, has been criticised for excessive fares.

dr prasert said the criticism was unfair, and that foreign tourists, who make up 93% of the samui passenger traffic, rarely complained about the fares.

however, to deal with criticism of its fares, bangkok airways will offer discounts for thai nationals starting on jan 15. the reduced fare will be 6,000 baht in the high season and 5,000 baht in the low season, compared with the normal fare of 7,100 baht.

Hello fellow pooners,

I am looking for info re- a semi delux 2 bdrm. beach bungalow, out of the busy area, and not in a busy resort. Something very nice and peaceful. But close enough to the action. I would like a semi seculded beach right out front.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Red Cork, you should check out Bo Phut. It's a honeymooners' little fishing village in the North of Samui. However Samui is tiny and renting a motorbike is just 150 Baht for the day. You can easuly hop down to Chaweng Beach, which is the best one for nightlife, in my opinion. Don't forget to try out Reggae Pub, the number one in free lancers. Got a couple of girls for just 200 Baht each for the whole night. But I'm still young, early 20's.

Red Cork,

The beach is in front of bungalows, which only cost 200B per night. You may arrange something for 2 months. But I don't recommend. Price is so cheap that you will not get much of a discount for 2 months. And anyway, paying daily will always leave you free to move on to another place if you don't feel like staying on. The less you plan in LOS the better.

Hey fellas,

Check out Pongpetch Servotel in Banrak. It is down the street from Big Bhudda. They have clean air conditioned rooms about a 5 minute ride from the airport. I love this part of town as it is quiet. They have no problem with you bringing back a girl as long as you are discreeet and act accordingly. In fact the owners wife asked me why I never brought one back. Little did she know I was more than discreet. It is possible to get to my room bypassing the front entrance. The view of Koh Pangan is nice and of course Chaweng is just a 12-15 minute moto ride away.

Nothing to compare to Pattaya, really. You can find some action on Samui, and mostly in the beer bars and discos you'll find along Chaweng Beach and near the stadium.

Sting,

You can find plenty in Samui. The freelancers can go cheap. Like 500 to 1000 B. I overpaid one day at the Pinklady MP near the right turn to the Reggae Pub. (there is anther Pinklady north on the same road FYI) 2000 B one hour. BUT, I must say that a young lass caught me unexpectedly at about 5 pm as I ran to get out of a brief rainstorm. I didnt realize i had parked outfront on the moto and ran inside to beat the storm. A sexy big titted cutie was on me and i wasn't expecting it. I had a raging hard on within seconds as she massaged my shoulders and her warmth had me wanting her bad!! She was the sweetest girl I had in Thailand in 3 trips. I know I overpaid but this was only my second time to Thailand in April and i was learning the ropes.

Well we got soapy upstairs and she made me feel so lovely. She was about a 7 face 9 body and 10 personality. She was tight, wet and ready in no time. We went a full hour non stop after we spent 10 minutes or more in the shower. She even hung out for another 20 minutes posing and talking (ok basic English and some Japanese). But price be dammned that time. It was the best sex i had in 2 years at that point. Saw her in August this year. Her BBBJ technique was excellent as well as awesome FS. If I could afford it at that time I would have kept her but if anyone goes down soon her name is Chicken.( I laughed inside)

Good luck,

Virg

Hello and Happy New Year to all.

I am going to Koh Samui in mid. Feb.

I will be bringing my rebellious 16 year old beautiful daughter.

I have to get her away from her home and her crazy mother.

She is going to do school home work via lap top and internet.

I am looking for a mid range priced resort or bungalow. If bungalow, I will get one for me on the beach and one for her close, so as not to cramp mine and her style. Is it possible to find bungalows with internet connection and sat/tv? And of course air/con. Also she wants to party a bit in clubs at night. Of course dad will be with her and some how try to find some action that she will approve of. Is it possible to find a nice non-bar girl who speaks passable english? If anyone happens to know of such a lady, i will take very good and generous care of her.

Any suggestions as to places would be greatly appreciated.

Any other valuble experience info also. I have been to Thailand a few times but never to Koh Samui so I sort of understand how it works. Wink, wink.

Thanks

Hey RED,

I dont know about internet connections in Hotels but there are internet places up and down Chaweng beach road. The fast ones were 2bhat per minute a few months ago. I am sure though that the more pricey places may help you. The 4000B and up places.

I can tell you that all the major disco action is at Soi Green Mango. There are about 4-5 bar -slash discos there. You can chat up your TG while keeping an eye on your kid in some ways because they are all open air places. There is always the reggae bar which is huge and open air. If possible bring another teen girl to hangout with your daughter. It will help you greatly.

If Chaweng Beach is too crowded go to Lamai. It is more laid back and family friendly if you can only go with your daughter. The wild Chaweng area is only 10 minutes away by ride.

Red Cork

Hello Virgo,

Thanks for all the valuble info and opinions.

Yes it would be nice if she could bring a friend along, but I do not want the responsibility of another teenage girl in a faraway land. Even though it would be helpful, but on the other hand I'm wanting her to get away from her screwed up friends and life here in vancouver and meet new friends, I expect there are many young people in Koh Samui. Backbacker types that are her age. I have looked at a map and read abit now about the area, and am now thinking of finding a place in between Chawang and Lamai. Do you know how that area is? 4000 bht. a night is a bit steep, I have heard bungalows on the beach are somewhere in the 1000 -2000 range, am I getting wrong info?

What do the TG girls charge there now?

Thanks again

Red Cork -- you might want to take a look at the Samui Resotel, which is on the bottom end of Chaweng, away from most of the craziness, and not too far from Lamai. The price for a private beachfront bungalow ranges from 2500-3000bath in mid-February -- quite reasonable for an air-conditioned place right on the beach. (You can see prices and information at http://www.sawadee.com/samui/resotel/. This site has prices and info for other places as well, and it pretty reasonable, overall, in terms of their offering prices.) I've stayed there several times and it's a great deal. (I'd spring for the more expensive ones, if you can get one, as they're a bit roomier and more private. As far as pricing, it's tough to find things in the 1000baht range during high season.

No phones or internet access in the bungalows or resort itself, which is fairly normal in Samui, but there are internet cafes within walking distance. It's easy enough to hop a seelor to move around -- I'd advise against renting a motorbike or car there, as Samui has pretty much the highest accident rate in LOS, which is saying a lot.

Samui is more English-friendly than a lot of places, so you might have some luck finding a woman who speaks passably who's not a bar girl, perhaps among vendors, but I wouldn't hold my breath -- while it's a more laid back scene than many spots in LOS, and the beer bars, gogos and discos have lately been pushed off the main drag, it's still a tourist area in Thailand, which means that there's action all over the place.

TG prices are higher than Pattaya, lower than Phuket.

Joe Z is right, you can get a lot of info at sawadee.com. Also when I go it is not during the Nov-mar high/peak season. I stay in Banrak about a kilometer from Big Budda beach. There is a place called Pongpetch servotel. Not fancy but clean rooms and great manager A/C and hot Chaweng. You can see a lot of 18-22 Euro gals and Israelis there and some Aussies and Brits. very few USA when I went. Not sure where you hail from but everyone is laid-back. Most druggies go to the next island of koh Pangan for the full-moon beach party.(it has a web site) Even so be careful because everyone is lookin to get laid so hip your daughter to the scoop.

By the way Pongpetch has 1000B rooms and it is a 12 min drive at most to Chaweng if you rent a cheap ass suzuki jeep. I would rent a moto but you are with child so as Joe said dont risk it without bigtime travelers insurance. And even that can't undo a hurt. Also there is a new place called the NEW VILLA at the bottom of Chaweng beach road a 2min walk from the beach. It was 600 B a nite in August but now I dont know. It was not on any website and you should not book your whole trip at one place because you can find another in a day or 2. I will try to find the business card I have for them to post later. It had 2 double beds in a room and A/C. All prices will be more in feb. I still have some detailed maps if I can find them with hotel names. I will try.

Being new to the board I am just trying to earn my keep. Hope I helped anybody.

Ciao.

Oh, please look at my past Samui post report. Freelancers can be cheap but grab them early in the evening, try em out and decide if a keeper. You will be surprised at what a 7 will do in bed in Samui if you are nice. Go to the Burger King on Chaweng beach road during the mid day and there is a 7-11 nearby. DONT FORGET THIS LOCATION!! It is the hang out after the bars close and I have gotten very lucky here! Cross the street in the day from the 7-11 and in the alleyway there is a beauty salon. If Tik is still around then you are a lucky man. Joy is not as fine but she takes it long time with no complaints, but she is a jealous one.

Hello folks,

I am planning a trip to Thailand, was looking at mid-May (Bangkok and Koh Samui).

I know it's going to be HOT, but I can stand the heat...also, smaller crowds and bigger discounts!

Anyway, I read that unlike in Phuket, it's going to be pretty nice out there during that time. Am I correct in assuming the sea won't be rough and will be great for swimming..?

Also, can anybody comment on the availability of the TGs during that month (do they hibernate or what?)

I would appreciate any feedback,

Thanks Virgo & Joe,

Good info and I will check out all of it.

Also, do you have info regarding the beach? I understand parts of it are very shallow and hard for swimming, one end is better, which end?

I checked on sawandee and there seems to be many bungalows between the two main places Chawang and Lamai. Does anyone have info in this area?

Also anymore info re:- stunner girls.

Thanks again for everyones help, this is a great forum.

I will post my experience.

I love samui obviously. When I was there last spring I left in early May and swimming was great in many places. The water is actually a little more shallow in some areas and you can go far out without much bad current. As always be careful but the Phuket side has more choppy waters. I swam on the north side of Samui as well as the east side (Chaweng) and it was great.

Chok Dee

P.S. As for the girls they do tend to be seasonal but there are always stunners working at the various shops that can be gotten. You could always bring a Bangkok TG but I suggest a little small town "coochie" from the "dirty south". They can make you feel good.

I found your reply to be quite meaningful as you pretty much put things in perspective which, coupled with my additional research, gives me an idea of what to expect.

Info please?

Does anyone have information re:-Central samui village?

Does the noisey highway go close by?

Is it girl friendly?

Can anyone suggest a nice place approx. 60-70 dollars a night?

Also is this bird flu thing effecting the tourism?

I am going to be there around mid Feb.

Does anyone have a stunner ex-girlfriend they want me to say hello to?

Where do you find real stunners?

Hey Red,

If its the Central Samui in Chaweng, don't worry about the beach road. You wont hear that much noise after 2am. The beach road is busy but not that loud. I promise you that booking a room is not that big of a deal. You are talking almost 3000 baht(or a little less). That is more than enough for a good room. Samui is not as packed as Pattaya and if you stay 1 or 2 nights in a cheaper place(say 1500-2000 baht) and dont like it, it is easy to change. Most of the hotels have copies of the local free magazines and some have the price and phone numbers of many places listed inside. There are tons of them on Chaweng beach road. Not all the places in Samui are on web sites and some are recently established and clean like The New Villa at the end of beach road. I found a room in August in less than 2 hours after landing and switched rooms a few days later. Especially when other folks will tell you where they stay and what they pay. Check my earlier post about Chicken, she is a winner if still around. I will try to find my August free hotel mag to give you a few suggestions tomorrow. When you get to the island you may find the solitude of the Bophut area or banrak area nicer.

I liked the scene in Samui (certainly the surroundings help a lot). I've always found the sex scene in Bangkok far too intimidating for me. I'm not one of the "lads" really. And as I travel alone, I never felt quite up to going off to the areas in Bangkok and agressive hookers really.

When I was down in Samui, i met a lovely bargirl in Lamai. She's 22 btw (I.D card) but very cute and small. It was the perfect situation for me really. Had some great shags from her. I'm pretty much in Thailand every year or so, because i'm travelling in Asia a lot, and Thailand is a hub between countries. So I always meet up with her every year and we go off around Thailand and Cambodia together. Nice girl.

There seemed to be quite a lot going on in Lamai when I was there. Chaweng scene appears to be more like Pattaya (even though I've never been there) in terms of the hard sell. You just have to ride past on a moto, and the girls in the bar will be whooping and yelling. I've heard that it's a lot more expensive for girls in Chaweng, due to the package tour types around. So i've avoided the nightscene there.

As for Lamai. I would agree with those who say the girls in Lamai are not exactly supermodels though. Many have so so looks, and several i've met in bars always seemed to be to old to be a bargirl (imo). It was quite sad, as they were of course left there all night without anyone interested in them. Lovely girls. But not particulary attractive physically. They were mostly looking out for the older falang really.

Yet, there are nice girls. You just have to look quite hard. The girl I know and keep seeing, is pretty and like a little china doll. Certainly more of the Girlfriend type. Bar fine was B200 when I was there. For the night, I had to pay B500. But now I only pay the bar fine, and we spend our time together all the time, and i pay for meals, etc etc.

In the middle of the main Lamai strip, there are more bars and some amazing go go dancers. Some of the girls in these places are fantastic indeed, and they have a lot of fun (unlike a horribly depressing show I saw in Patpong once). They girate, and have lots of fun with each other. The price was always the same. B500 for the night usually. 200-300 Bf.

Just been to LOS for 2 weeks, which was 2 days in BKK,3 days in Pattaya, 7 days in Lamai Beach and a final 2 days in BKK, this FR covers Samui.

The airport at Samui must surely be the prettiest in the world,if there are better ones they must be quite remarkable.

Mini-bus to the Weekender resort, Lamai cost about 120 baht.

The Weekender deluxe room cost me 2100 per night, it was a large room with balcony, air con, 2 beds inc 1 king, ocean view, tv and the bathroom consisted of bath/shower with poor water pressure and not a lot of hot water, but just about enough as it was very hot anyway.

The weekender is well positioned in the centre of Lamai, just a few minutes walk from the action.

There are plenty of beer bars in Lamai, with plenty of girls, although not many 8, 9 and 10s, the average prices are 200bf and 1000 LT although without doubt you could find cheaper.

Lamai is basically just one main street so it is very difficult to keep your business to yourself. I enjoyed myself there although next visit will be to Jomtien again, although I would return to lamai possibly in a couple of years.

If you are in a long term relationship with TG you could take her there for a week, thr return flight costs 6,500 baht.

Any bros want further info send pm.

Rgds,

Gus

Ko samui

Just got back from another spell in Samui, its great, check out a little place, behind Starbucks in Chewang, called Eden , similar set up to its name sake in Bangkok, but not as many girls, good service managed to find a rather trickey thing on my second visit.

The place is just down the road from a very good Italian, called Vecia Napoli, also well worth a visit

Pink ladies, on the high street is nice, but Samui is great for its freelancers, Green Mango road, especially Sweet Soul Cafe, around 11pm, they seem to come out of everywhere, 1000baht, and you go to bed very happy.

Found a great little resort in Lamai, called Lamai Wattana, right on Lamai beach which has the best swimming on the island. Bungalows from around 1500 baht, rooms from around 700 baht, seriously good. If you drive through lamai, its on the left turning for the beach, only drawback is no resteraunt, but there 10 a penny round there.

I will be heading back there in 6 weeks, if anyone else has any info, please let me know.

I have a totally none monger question, sorry!

I'll be in Samui for a while and want a mobile phone that works well there. Anybody got any experience with phones? Which service should I get?

Thx in advance.

All About Bob,

Great first post! Good intel in a concise format. I wish all new members would start their WSG life off so well.

One question, is the 1000BT for ST or LT?

Dear PurpleNGold,

1000 Bht is for more than LT, you should get them for a full 24 hours, its not expenisve at all in Samui, I am going u pto Bangkok for a week, let me know if you have any good information.

Tamaman, for Samui, go buy a pay as you go chip, DTAC is the name, very cheap, and has good coverage on it, much better than Orange

Good luck

KOH SAMUI, THAILAND

Because of the island's beauty and tranquility it is likely that you will have a far better time with an average looking girl in Samui than with a stunner in Bangkok. Furthermore, apart from the go-go bars and the sex-massage places the norm seems to be LT or XLT encompassing several days. I was perceived as some sort of a freak requesting ST from beer-bar girls in Samui. (Nevertheless it is available). In general the girls' attitude is very relaxed and friendly, very different from quick-cash centered Bangkok. I have had some great times ( but still looking forward again to the Pattaya-experience with the multitude of sex-hungry beauties).

If you come to Samui for sex then also consider the following:

Despite of what I said before in fact it is better if you not come here for sex at all but if you can get some then consider it a bonus. Why? Because of this:

Bear it in mind that the scene in Samui is largely dominated by very arrogant Western women. They are everywhere and there is a great interaction with local females. Guys take out girls and introduce them to their groups that includes females. European girls sit down at bars and chat with bar-ladies. It's much more common here than let's say in Pattaya. The Western females do things that Thai girls ask:"Why can't we also?"
It's well known fact that in general western females treat their men like dogs. Many men like this and those who don't they go to Asia to find still feminine ladies. There is just too much interaction here and a lot rubs on Thai girls. In Pattaya western women rarely sit down at beer bars, they rather look at them in horror and turn away. It's different in here and this affects the scene a lot in Samui. That is why any reasonable looker bar girl who has spent some time here will come with an attitude that is not nice.

(If you want totally unspoilt feminine minds than do yourself a favour and go to Angeles City, Philippines. Not even one western female in town. In fact they don't let them in the bars if they have no escort. What a blessing.)

AROUND THE ISLAND

NATHON: this is the town where all the ferries arrive and depart. Doesn't have much foreigner-friendly entertainment if any.

One massage/sex place next to Palace Hotel on waterfront, open sunset to 2AM. Quality not so famous.Rooms are basic. Foreigners are accepted but english is not well spoken. One pop B500.

LAMAI:

1. Beer bars: opposite McDonalds on the main road

2. Alongside McDonalds

3. At the south end of the strip, between Thai boxing school & Golden Sand Resort

4. On the street running east-west, next to Bauhaus pub

5. A few individual bars along the main road

Bar fines: B200

Pay girl: B500 ST, B1000 LT

Quality is generally poor to average with a very few cute little girls who seem to be taken very soon every night. There's no bar with consistent good quality meat. Nevertheless most of the girls seem to have lots of fun and the atmosphere is generally good. Possible to sink a few beers and playing games for a few hours even if with the dragons.

The beach is beautiful, and bungalows are cheap, B500 at the waterfront or B400 a little back. Quite easy to spend a few lazy days.

The large number of "western" female tourists is disturbing and quite a bit destroys the scene but there's little we can do about it right now. These "liberated" females are quite simply "arrogant", very unlike thai ladies and their attitude is rubbing on. It's no good.

CHAWENG:
Very busy town. Large number of beer bars. Two go-go bars. One (sex)massage salon.
Quite more good quality meat than in Lamai but still very-very few for the hordes of sex-starved men. It's impossible to score a new reasonable one every night, maybe that's why men seem to hold on to the good ones for days and weeks in a row.

Main centres with lots of bars:
1. around Green Mango in the Center of town
2. on both sides of the road leading to Reggae Pub
3. behind Starbucks Cafe at the north end of the strip
4. a few bars near Samui Natien Resort even further up north
5. some bars next to Pink Lady Massage at the south end of the strip
6. a couple of bars even further south, opposite Seascape beach Resort
7. some individual bars along the main road, eg Flingstone's Bar

Bar fines:B200-300
Pay girl:B500 ST, B1000 LT in all beer bars

There is one (sort of) high class massage/sex ST salon near the south end of the strip, the PINK LADY. Price is fixed B2000 for one hour full service. Girls sit outside in front of the shop. Open from noon to midnight. Day shift seemed rather pathetic, in the evening shift there were some reasonable lookers 20-22 yo but appeared very unfriendly to me.
Is it again the "beautiful-girl-sindrome"? Also, if you happen to shoot your load in let's say 10 minutes then your time is automatically up. Shower again and you are out. Not nice.

GO-GO:

There are two go-go bars in Chaweng town, both near Green Mango. Neither of them is very famous, maybe compable to some of the more average bars in Pattaya.

Of course bikini tops are on all the time. I wonder how can this be justified given the number of semi-naked western females on Chaweng Beach in broad daylight? In contrast to this, in a strictly adult venue (under 20 are not allowed), behind closed doors the bikini tops must stay on. Anybody find this logical?

The better of the two by atmosphere seems to be "Dream Girls". The girls are friendlier and maybe slightly better lookers too. The other go-go seems to be over air-conditioned and very cold by attitude too. Nevertheless both appear to be under the same management.

Bar fine in go-gos: B500

The better girls ask B1500 for ST. This sometimes can be negotiated down to B1000, sometimes not. I have never taken anyone LT from here but I hear some guys pay through the nose, B2000-3000 and up.

The main problem with Samui is the lack of consistently good looking meat. And as it goes the real stunners seem to get spoiled rotten within a short time. One bar may have one good looking girl and once she's gone only the dragons are left, like around 10PM.

However, at 1:30AM when all the bars close there is a great cavalcade of meat around Green Mango for about a half an hour, all the girls not taken or have finished a ST plus the free-lancers seem to turn up. But who really wants to start fucking at 1:30AM?

By the time you settle the deal, go home it is 2o'clock. By the time you finish it's 3 or 4o'clock. Already morning. Your whole day is stuffed, you are sleepy, grumpy. Either you waste the day sleeping or not sleep and then your next night is wasted because you wander around like a zombie. So better get something early and get some sleep as well.

One more note about western females' behaviour in Samui. In my opinion it is simply arrogant to display one's tits in public on the beach or otherwise. It shows a sign of disrespect, not caring and agressiveness that a traditional thai "lady" would never do.
Now what would happen if some enterprising male would go around start grabbing naked tits on the beach? Technically it is illegal to go semi-naked in public in this country, so what would the Thais do? Prosecute the woman? Prosecute you? Both of you? Neither of you?

More about Samui

I took a cute little girl out of one of the beer bars. She would have been considered average looker (with some goodwill) in Pattaya but I was happy since there were not many 10/10 around. She was also very gentle, clever and good company. We went to eat in a Thai restaurant, played pool then drank cocktails on Chaweng Beach. I had a good time. At that point we hadn't even discussed cash (apart me paying the bar B200). But just to be sure, before moving into the bedroom I confirmed the usual LT=B1000. She didn't seem to care too much about it though.

Sex was OK.Nice, gentle. Very responsive, easily accepting any position. I don't particularly like women who are crazy about sex so we got along well. Then off to Reggae Pub. She got herself drunk there. Back in the bedroom she initiated sex again but I declined. Too much is too much. Also I don't quite enjoy poking in the same hole more than once. It was interesting sleeping next to a "meat". Hadn't done it for long time. After disco I was actually trying to send her home but she wouldn't leave. Apparently a lot of girls were sharing her room and it was not comfortable. So I let her stay overnight. Waking up next to a "meat" in the morning. What shall I do with it? I had already got my "one point" and there was no reason for more physical exertion. But I just popped it again anyway. Was it beneficial? I doubt it. It is easy to become a glutton with meat around all the time.

Anyway, our conversations cleared some questions about Samui. She had a passport. In fact I have noticed that a large number of bar girls have passports in Samui (that they have never used and may never will). I had also noticed the fast turn-around of "meat". Many are so fresh, they hardly speak any English.I thought I had solved the mystery of why were there so many plain girls on the Island.

Here is her story. She met a handsome german dickhead last year who banged her for 3 weeks for FREE on Koh Phangan. Promised to take care of her and her kid, hinted marriage, etc. He got his free fucks from her. No questions asked. He said he would be back in december for her. Then january came, february and so on. He didn't turn up of course. Slowly even the phonecalls stopped. Of course she is just "meat" but I felt so sorry for her, broke my heart. The fact is, there are an unproportionate large number of young western men holidaying the island. They want to fuck FREE, just like they fuck their girlfriends. But those European girls have jobs and money and no crying kids and mama, papa and 20 cousins at home like these thai bargirls have. They are fun of course. But they will not feed the family in Isaan and the buffalo. They pay with promises instead of cash. Sooner or later the attractive girls realize this and [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off, go back home empty handed or go to Pattaya or Phuket.

These young men's words are just like a bad check. It might have 100,000 baht written on it but you can't cash it. I am only waving my (REAL) 500 baht note but to no avail. I won't get the good meat in Samui (but I will in Pattaya).

The scene in Pattaya, Phuket (and Angeles/PI) is dominated by mature men who have the cash and therefore the industry sustains itself well, year after year. Also they have grown mature enough to not believe in FREE fucks any more. Someone always pays. If not you then the fellow down the road (and one day you will be that fellow).

Certainly Samui is a fun place to be. However not even a Thai lady can live on "Sanuk" alone (sanuk="fun" in thai). The uglier girls stay because they wouldn't fare better even in Phuket. Also, some of the more cash centered models might find their little niche market in Samui, but only a very few.

Alex,

Nice report. Confirms what I've heard. I agree whole heartedly with your assessment of Western women and their behaviour in the LOS. It actually embarrasses me.

I do have to correect you on one point through. The "No Unescorted Ladies" policy in Angeles refers to local working girls only (or potenial working girls). Pinays of higher class and Western women can go anyplace. But, thankfully, you are correct that they are very rare. Thank God for the LBFM's of AC. Great attitudes. But, if AC had things to do other than monger, it would attract the type of tourist that may bring a slow death to places like Samui, Phuket or the like. IMHO.

Western girl and ho-boy from KohSamui,

Well, Alexander, you gave me a reason to tell this little true tale.
One night last January I travelled from Trang to BKK by nighttrain. The train stops at Phumpin (SuratThani rws) to allow the LP gang from KohSamui to board and spoil my journey. There was this ugly American girl who came into my car and she had a Thai ho-boy from a Samui bar in tow. They sat in the doorway (but didn't fall out...) and they probably discussed eternal love and happiness and living forever and more of that hippie shit.
I took a before bedtime walk, passed them and heard what she said to him: 'At first I thought you were going to steal my luggage, but now I love you'.
BARF!
The next morning they sat at my table in the dinnercar and she proclaimed eternal love and stuff and how she would take care of him (doesn't she know it's : 'I take care you!' in Thai-English:(?).
He nodded and said: 'I have no money'.
I could tell by the loving look in her eyes that she was going to take care of his water-buffalo as long as he boned her.
Ho-man took her hand and held it, lovingly.
And then the sun rose and all was wonderful.

Now I have to stop before I start a Z like rant on Western women.

KohSamui is not for me!

I will be in Samui for a couple of weeks in May. I've read many conflicting reports about the the state of mongering in Samui. I'm going to shop around in BKK and Pataya for a few days to find a TG to bring down south with me to be on the safe side.

How much would it be reasonable to pay for a BKK or Pataya girl for say a week? Would 1000B/day be about right? I'm ok looking and speak some thai.

thx

Alexander:

Dude you got it all wrong! SA prays on these western women. You dont think they come to Thailand looking for sex? See, you are interested in haveing a relationship witha Thai hooker. While you think this is dandy, they just putting on a show for you because they really could care less about you. Thus, they treat you as badly as the western women that you talked about. SA traveled to Koh Samui for a week and hooked up with some very hot and sexy western women who were there in Koh Samui on vacation to soak up the sun and get laid. Your style of picking up chics in go go bars and beer joints isnt going to look good to some western girl. SA worked the hotels to perfection. Buy the lady a drink and just talk and head out into the ocean. You dont need to pay her a thing! In fact, they have so much damn money they will teat you. Of course, if you are not in good shape, havent showered, etc... then you are not going to win any of their hearts. Better you stick to the hos in the bars who are playing with you and your wallet. SA will satisfy the western women in Samui who are better at sex than any Thai ho SA has been with.

SA is not looking to make enemies but the fact is Alex one needs to look at oneself before criticising someone else and their behavior. It takes 2 people in this game. You looking for a GFE with a thai hooker is something we should be discussing because that is teh root of teh problem. You falling for a girl because she brings you to orgasm. Funny.

SA was nicely 3f'd by these western women and it was his pleasure to be on the receieving end of a 3f. Alex, you get treated like a dog by the westerners, maybe you should loosen up your bark and stop pissing on trees in public.

Furthermore,

Why do you gusy think topless bathing is so bad in Koh Samui? SA doesnt know how many topless fat out of shaoe men he saw walking the streets in Samui. Frankly, it was nicer to look at a pair of tits on a woman then the "he hooters' on some of you guys. Guys walking into restaurants, riding a motorcycly, dropping into 7 11 etc... shrtless. In the USA you wouldnt even be allowed in! Stiop the whining about the topless women! You men are just as guilty!

You are right dude. I got it all wrong. I just can't find the motivation to put in the effort any more (nice shirt, shower, shave, nice talk). So, that's why I am barking. Sorry.

Those below average BGs actually satisfy me quite well. And the sand is white. The water is warm. The sun shines over the coconut palms. Samui is great, anyhow.

Siam Bar and Grill had mudwrestling on Wednesday nights when I was last in Samui. They have an option where one may volunteer to go into the ring with two cuties, although last time I was there, no one volunteered, maybe next time.

Here are some photos of the mud wrestling which I'm posting here instead of the photo section because it pertains to a venue in Lamai, Koh Samui.

Spent a few days on Koh Samui last week. Great place. I stayed approx 3 km north of Lamai Beach and one of the nights, walked down to the beer bars area. Generally, many girls available, some are pretty, but obviously, a far cry from Bangkok.

My first attempt was futile - there is an area where they have lady kickboxing from time to time, so I said at one of the stalls beside it - avoid it. It's not like an enclosed bar, more like a street stall with a roof. I barfined the girl, got a 1,200 bill (300 Baht barfine and bottles beer - I didn't count how many I drank, but it wasn't that many, so don't make the same mistake - count the number of bottles you drink!!!), but I took the girl with me. Five minutes later, before I even knew it, she stopped at another place and bought 2 bottles of beer and a pack of cigarettes. I've paid the bill and told the girl to screw off. She was upset, but given the amount of money she got out of me because of my stupidity, she was laughing all the way to the bank.

Here's a tip - if, after you offered to barfine the girl and she agreed and all, and then she still tries to lure in guys to have a drink at the stall, she is no good.

Feeling like an idiot, I went to a bar on the main strip - I think it was called Lily's or something like that - princess maybe, I think it started with an L. The mamasan's name is Mon - she was very friendly. There were a few girls there and Mon recommended Toy.

I barfined Toy (LT) and she took me back to my hotel on a motor cycle. She was absolutely great - very passionate and certainly earned her money. I'd give her five stars. She was probably closer to thirty - not a beauty - but great nonetheless.

Price? 200 Baht barfine, I paid the girl 1,000 baht, and throw in another 40 Baht for the motor taxi (it was parked at the hotel for the whole night). 1,240 Baht - I think it was one of the best deals I've had in Thailand.

We had sex twice (once before sleep and once after - I had trouble waking her up!) and both times, the condoms ripped. ;-)

If you're there, check out that bar.

Avoid the stalls beside the lack kickboxing area - I, for one, had a terrible experience there (see above).

That was my first trip to LOS, so I made many mistakes, but had a great time overall.

I have to agree with Jack. If they've got a "no camera" rule at the bar, then you've already broken the rules and gotten away with it. They didn't really look like stunners, but please include the face in your future pictures.

Thinking of a visit mid July I have just returned from Phuket and Pattaya never been to Samui before. I will be bringing lots of baggage (her indoors) so I am looking for a hotel or bungalow has anybody any suggestions for me not silly prices but good quality and value. The wife is not a prude so I don't want to be to far away from the action maybe able to sneak a massage or 2 while she falls asleep on the beach.

May the force be with you.

Luke Sky Wanker,

I visited Koh Samui about 2 years ago. Great place. Dunno about mongering, probably less availability than some other places - (but it is there OK). I too had baggage with me - gf from philipines (talk about coals to newcastle!), so didn't really need any more pussy.

We stayed at "Samui Resotel (Munchies)" - thats exactly how it is written and described. Loved it there, a series of bungalows and challets right on the beach. Good quality, nice place, cheapish - we paid 990 baht per night for both of us incl breakfast, and the breakfasts were MEGA buffets that lasted all morning.

I know prices vary at different times of the year, so check, but it's never going to be very pricey.

Ladies walk the beach all day selling you coconuts, snacks etc, and the hotel bar serves up cut price happy hour cocktails late afternoon.

The walk to the "town", well village, of Chawang was about 15 mins, or 5 mins by tuk-tuk. Loads of reataurants from medium price to unbelievably cheap, and a few nite-spots such as the Green Mango Disco, Regae Club, XTC bar, and several more.

If you're going with the trouble & strife, then I reckon its great. If all you want is 24/7 hooker shagging, then maybe go elsewhere. Have fun and a great holiday.

If you want to be able to sneak away quickly for a massage then you'll want to be somewhere on Chaweng. There are tons of places available, but it would help if you could be a bit more specific about what you consider to be "silly prices." Just be aware that your (non-traditional) massage options are fairly limited on Koh Samui.

Hi Joe, I was paying 990bht for a room in Dynasty inn Pattaya and 1250 in Phuket anything below 2000bht is ok for me and not silly.

You'll find that prices can be quite a bit higher in places in Samui, but you end up much closer to the water than in many places in Phuket and you can find deals. A few trips ago my mother was very happy with a beachfront bungalow at the Samui Resotel on Chaweng, which is literally right on the beach and right now can be had for about 2000baht. I was happy enough with one of the superior bungalows, which was one row away from the water and 1350 baht. There are tons of other places, obviously, and a lot that are in your range.

Take a look at http://samui.sawadee.com/hotels/ for pretty good descriptions of places and prices.

Hi Guys,

I'm going to Samui last week in July, going to Full Moon Party at Ko Pha Ngan on 2nd August.

i went to the full moon party and here's my advice:

1) do not stay in kpn overnight.

2) in cheweng beach, go to any hotel or travel agent and by a speed boat ticket to the full moon party. i paid 550 baht.

3) the speed boat picks you up at your hotel in a minibus, takes you to the big buddah pier, and gets you right to the party in 20 minutes.

4) they give you a return ticket. you can take any boat back at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 a.m.

easiest way to get to full moon party.

Arrive via Bangkok Air, haven't flown on one of these prop planes in years. Samui airport reminds me of Tahiti International near Papette, all outdoors, just a collection of small huts.

Minibus transfer to my hotel, First Bungalow Beach Resort, on the southern edge of Chaweng Beach. "You alone"?, the receptionist asks, and chuckles slightly. Not for long, I think to myself. I'd reserved a private bungalow, and hoped for one on the beach, but must settle for poolside. A considerable disappointment.

Showered, and I'm ready for some action. Where is this Soi Green Mango I've been reading about? Quite a distance from my bungalow, that's for sure. By the time I get there, I'm soaked in perspiration. It's still early, only a few girls, and very few players are about.

Almost immediately, I spot one I like. Such a pretty face, and don't asian women look hot in black mini-dresses? I take note of the bar and continue my trek to see what else might be available.

After making the rounds, I decide Ms. Black Dress is for me, so I begin to head back to her bar, but see her sitting at the sidewalk food stalls instead. This gives me an excellent opportunity to further examine her assets. I slowly circle around her, carefully scrutinizing her, like a predator sizing prey. She turns her head, appearing startled and frightened. "Eat", she says, motioning her hands to her mouth, and looking like she doesn't know whether to finish her meal, or run for her life.

I walk back to her bar, order a drink, and wait for her. She arrives shortly, and tries to avoid me by watching TV and going to the toilet (twice). I guess I really did frighten her, so I invite her to sit and have a drink. She agrees, but on condition that I also buy a drink for her friend. They ask if I'm injured, because of the huge bulge in my sock at the ankle. Since my shorts don't have pockets, I stuff my Day-Timer wallet with passport, travelers checks, and US dollars into my sock. This also makes it nearly impossible to be pick-pocketed by any ladyboys that may be lingering around. I pull the wallet out to show the ankle is fine, and flash the money, something I will later regret having done.

After some more idle chat, it's down to business. Bar fine, 200 baht. Long time, 2000, but she's apprehensive about going with me. "I go with you, three hours", she says. "I'll pay your bar fine for two days", I counter. "What you do tomorrow?", she inquires. Well, I'd planned to rent a jeep and drive around the island, then go to a nice restaurant. She nods approval, and we're off in a taxi for some instant ROI.

She has a pussy that fits just right. Soft, warm, and tight, applying just the right amount of stimulation to my head, to keep me cumming back for more. I'm good for two rounds this evening.

In the morning, after 'boom chow', we rent a nearly new Suzuki jeep for 800. Hope I can remember to drive on the left. I'd like to see a waterfall, and ask about Namuang, in the middle of the island. The owner isn't too excited about having his jeep going up the steep dirt incline, and suggests Wangsaotong waterfall as an alternative. My girl says she knows how to get there.

I don't know if it's the road or the suspension, but the ride isn't very smooth. Probably doesn't help going over 80 when the limit is 60. When we reach the turnoff, I cough up the 10 baht parking fee. A man offers an elephant ride to the falls for 600 baht. Sounds interesting, but two people cost 1000. Seems to me it should be like a taxi, so I pass. The man and my girl converse in Thai, probably saying what a cheap bastard I am. The waterfall is quite unspectacular, so I ask my girl what she would like to do.

Not far from the falls is the Butterfly Garden. "Me, a butterfly?", I ask. "No, not you", she replies. Entering through a steel curtain, this place is remarkable. Tropical setting, with exotic butterflies roaming freely.

I'm hungry, so we cross the street and take a table at the Reef Cafe in the Central Samui Village Resort. I have the scallop salad, followed by the oven roasted white snapper. My girl, who only eats Thai, orders a spicy chicken dish. Quite a contrast to the girl I took to the Saxophone Pub in Bangkok on Wednesday who ordered TWO chicken salads, and ate half of one and a third of the other. Go figure. For desert, I talk my girl into sharing some Creme Brulee, served with vanilla ice cream, but she doesn't like either. Only person I've known that didn't like ice cream, something she claimed to have eaten only once. After lunch, we finish driving the circumference of the island, and return to the bungalow for more ramming.

In the evening, she goes out to eat. I didn't pack the Imodium, and all that steamed fish in ginger I ate in Phuket is taking it's toll, so I stay put. A few hours later she returns with a story that her friend at the bar had a motorcycle accident, and her friend says that I don't like her. She then abandons the story, which sounds like a scam.

The next morning, the well is dry and I can't 'finish'. I have no complaints, however. She helped me 'finish' five times during a span of roughly 24 hours. At my age, I didn't think I had that much jam in me. I have to check-out at noon today, my flight to Hua Hin departs in the afternoon. I leave 2000 atop her purse, plus a 500 baht tip, just as I'd done the morning before. It's time to return the jeep and collect my passport I left as a deposit. As I insert my passport into my Day-Timer wallet, I notice a fifty dollar bill is missing. All the twenties are present, but the single fifty has been lifted while I slept (there are no in-room safes). I don't feel angry, but I feel a little hurt that she stole from me.

As I approach the bungalow, I can see her shoes are still outside the door. Why didn't she cut out? It would have been so easy, she knows I have a flight in the afternoon. She doesn't seem the courageous type, probably barely tips the scales at under 100 lbs, about 40% of my mass.

When I enter the bungalow, she's lying on the bed watching wrestling on TV. I stand between her and the TV, pull out my Day-Timer wallet, and thumb through it's contents. Then I turn and look at her, but she's very careful to avoid eye contact, so I put down the wallet and lay on the bed beside her. "You hot?", she says. I don't speak, but get up and turn up the fan on the a/c. Then I finish packing my bag. I'm not going to ask for the money back. I know she's sharing an apartment with other girls and trying to support a child in Chaing Mai from a failed marriage. Besides, I feel certain her friends at the bar put her up to it. She's very pretty, but not very savvy. I suspect the story about her friend's motorcycle accident is true, it's not difficult to visualize when you frequently see three people riding at the same time. Hit a bump in the road, one person falls off and incurs some minor injuries. Judging from the way she greeted the stray dogs, I just don't believe she's a thief. I believe she's just trying to help a friend, actually doing something noble. This explains why she didn't feel guilt, and split when she easily could have.

At ten minutes before noon, she gets up and says "I go now. Thank you for me", and she kisses me on the lips. I return the kiss, without much feeling, and she leaves. I didn't say a word to her after returning the jeep.

In summary, I really enjoyed the island atmosphere on Samui, not nearly as well developed as the Hawaiian islands. Although targeted towards couples, there's still plenty of action for the single player. It may not have the quantity of choices as Bangkok or Pattaya, but still some good pickings available. How many TGs do you need to bang on your holiday, anyway? 5,000? Where have you gone, Wilt Chamberlain? About a dozen are fine with me. Well, better make that a baker's dozen.

So here I am in LOS for 6 weeks of fun and fornication. I have one big ass report that covers BKK, Pataya and mostly Sumui and i can't be bothered splitting it up, so here it is in Samui.

Day1:

Arrive 10:30 at night as usual and head for the Dynasty. I usually stay in the Nana but read good things about Dynasty here so I decided to try it. It’s ok, but I’ll go back to the Nana next time, Nana’s rooms are bigger and brighter. And the aircon in the Dynasty kept me awake all night.

Anyhoo, down to business. I scanned all the local hot spots in NEP, ended up meeting a little lovely in the Nana parking lot hanging out with 2 friends. The cute one didn’t speak much English which was fine since I just learned to speak Thai since my last trip so a good change to practice the same way Thai girls learn English. So, her name is Tick, very cute, 9 looks, 9.5 body, 23, very shy, just got in from Esaan about a week ago. She was really shy in bed, but I was as much of a gentleman as one can be in such situations and she seemed to get into it after the initial hesitation. She claims that I am the first farang to bang, I’m sure we’ve all heard that once or twice but I kind of believed her, hey why not!

She wasn’t into BJ but it’s been months since my last scent of pussy so I was so ready for action it wasn’t funny. She was struggling a bit with farang meat so I had to take it real easy on her and get he pretty damp prior to going in, but it was well worth the effort.

She stayed all night and was very cuddly, but didn’t want a second round in the morning so I didn’t push it.

Day 2:

Decided to check out Soy Cowboy. I heard it was a slightly up market version of Nana but I don’t know why it got that rap! The girls were just about jumping down my pants in the street. I got dragged into one beer bar, mostly because they were playing a Rush song which you don’t come across very often over here. The girls had no idea they were listening to the greatest band of all time of course.

So I’m the only guy in the place, about 20 girls and they all want a drink. I finally agree to 2 but have 4 with their hands all over me. The one who clearly thought she owned me had her hand on my dick and my hand on her pussy after about 30 seconds. When they found out I can speak Thai I was invited to “gin hoy”, “eat pussy”. She was ready to go down on me right there which would have been kinda cool I guess but I declined. Anyhow, I guess I did get turned on, or fell victim to the hard sell, and agreed to short time at my hotel for 1000bhat. I figured after the relatively tame “love making” last night, a raunchy no holes barred session sounded pretty good. And it was good, with a nice CIM to finish up.

Day 3:

Back in Nana, found a little cutie in the parking lot early on. I wasn’t up for a late night so I thought she would be a keeper for the night. Virtually no English but I understand enough Thai to get the whole sob story about her mother and father back in Esaan and the sick water buffalo and the …. Then after a very unsatisfying ride I kicked her out. So it’s only 11pm and I can’t sleep so I think, ok maybe a little stroll. I end up on soy 7 on the other side of Sukumvit in a place across the street from the Eden. It’s a nice quiet bar with comfortable sofas, about 10 average girls and 3 farang all looked like locals. Saai, 25, nice body, average looks but nice, relaxed personality, gets me in. She was very comfortable just snuggling up to me on the sofa. Again not much English, I’m not sure what’s going on. I never had a problem not speaking a work of Thai on previous trips and all of a sudden all I speak is Thai. Maybe they just can’t be bothered speaking English if they don’t really need to.

So anyway, I take her back for the night, nice comfortable sex, very cuddly. For some reason I give her my mobile phone number and tell her I’m planning to go to Ko Samui by myself in a few days. Bad idea, now she calls me 5 times a day to ask me to take her to Samui!

Day 4:

Planning to take the train to Samui but all the tickets are sold out for 4 days. So I’m bored with BKK and decided make a quick trip to Pattaya. Back in my old stomping ground I run into my long time GF from the last trip. Still looking good, still madly in love with me, (or my money, no real difference in Thailand). Funny thing is, they say you can never go back. The last time I was in Pattaya I had the best 10 days of my life. Every night boozing and whoring it up, mostly in the same place, the Climax beer bar on walking street. This time, it was pretty much all the same girls, same band except the guitarist had moved on and the replacement guy just doesn’t have it. But somehow I just wasn’t into it. I guess that’s the down side of have a fabulous time, your expectations will never be fulfilled again.

**********************************

Day 5:

Trying to avoid going back to the Climax to meet my regular, but after a new Heinekens I end up in the usual. However, when I get to the Climax, my regular GF, is there with her sister and her sisters friend. I had heard about the sister but never met her before. Very cute little think, looks like a young Lucy Loo (Charlies Angles, Kill Bill, etc.). The sister’s friend is drop dead gorgeous, nice body, great boobs and speaks great English. Turns out she was a bar girl a few years ago and met a navy boy who quickly married her and took her to live in Hawaii and now Japan. She’s back for a few weeks to visit friends. Anyhow, I can see why the guy married her, fuck, I would have proposed right there on the spot if I could. She is just a bundle of fun, groping the girls, super friendly, smart and hot but in a nice, cute lovable kind of way. They say marrying bar girls never works out but I envied the guy married to her, and the marriage seemed ok.

Well, after the Climax closes, the sister and friend want to go the after hours club in the back. They want me and my GF to come so I agree. The drummer in the band wants me to take his wife in and says he’ll be in in a few minutes. I buy a round of drinks for 650bhat (bummer), for everyone including the drummer’s wife who I don’t even know and after half an hour the drummer is no where to be found!

I’m bored with the disco crap and we all leave. Are you thinking I took the GF+sister+friend back to my room? That’s would have been cool, but the sister plus friend just wanted to go together. They looked pretty tight with each other, I got pretty hard just thinking about the 2 of them sharing a bed.

Day 6

Last night in Pattaya for this trip. I end up at the usual with the usual girl. I decide to go for a little walkabout and see a cutie sitting all alone in a bar in the 2nd road. She has a great smile and a tight little body. No boobs, quite tall and slim and very cute, called Lak. I just discovered that Lak is actually the Thai pronunciation of Rak which is Love. Even through I know ‘R’ comes out as ‘L’ in Thai, it still catches me out now and again. I buy her a drink and we talk about all the usual stuff. She has 2 kids back with the parents in Bangkok. The ex-husband was into drinking, gambling and hitting her. Sounds like a piece of work! She’s only been in Pattaya for 1 month and judging by how shy she is I doubt she gets much action.

So I feel really bad for the girl and take her back. Sex in nice and cuddly, but I can’t shake the feeling that she’s had such a miserable life and I’m not helping by banging her. Of course the 1000bhat I gave her for the night is easing the pain, but she is so sweet, I hated to think of her with some of the scum these girls must come across in that job (no offense intended to any scum presently reading this article)

***********************

Day 7

Back to BKK then the night train to Samui. I really love getting around Thailand by overnight train. They are super cheep (500 bhat BKK to Surat Thani, about half the cost of a reasonable hotel) and you get a comfortable bed, wake up where you need to be and usually meet some interesting people along the way. I shared the end of the car with a bunch of grad students from Uruguay. I was sharing a group of 4 bunks with 3 very hot Uruguayan chicks. They spoke perfect English and we had a lot of fun talking about world politics etc, something I’m still a long way from doing in Thai.

Day 8
Just arrived in Ko Samui, not sure what to expect girl wise. First thing I notice is there is a lot of regular Thai girls everywhere. I get the pickup truck taxi thing to Lamai and there are 5 cute girls on it. The moment I step foot in Lamai, I know this is going to be my new favorite place on the planet. There are plenty of girls, lot’s of beer bars, each with at least 6 or 7 mid 20’s cuties. I guess this really is the low season because the number of girls outnumbers the number of farang mongers by about 10:1. However, only about 1 in 5 or so of the available girls are probably worth banging.

I stayed at the Lamai Wanta based on a recommendation in this group. Very nice friendly staff, nice clean rooms, good aircon, nice little patio, 900/night with 10% discount for 30 day stay.

I really like the laid back scene here vs. BKK or Pattaya. The girls never ask you for a drink and don’t seem to mind how long you talk to them without buying a drink. Everything is open air so you can check out the situation before committing to a beer. The girls all love to play games at the bar, usually that connect 4 game or one with 2 dice where you have to get each number for 1 to 9 to win. You can also play pool in a lot of the places and many bars have movie nights so if you have a little lovely as a keeper, there plenty to do besides sitting and drinking all evening.

I scan whole town, which takes about 20 minutes and meet several prospects but I don’t want to decide too early. I have a habit of deciding too early then get buyers remorse when I see another cutie walk by. So later in the evening I find a nice 25 year old in a beer bar. At this point I’m not really interested in talking about other girls (I’ll get to this point in a minute) so I’m not going to tell you the details. Anyway the usual thing, back to the room, blah, blah, blah, not a keeper.

Day 9

I’m getting a bit bored with the parade of one night wonders. I know that’s the most prized position on this group and that’s fine for a few days for me, but now I’m looking for a bit more. This is the point where you hard core mongers may want to tune out if you don’t want to throw up.

After a couple of beers, games of pool and usual conversation with the usual bevy of Thai beauties, I happen across someone who is clearly not the same kettle of fish as the other bar girls. She’s a bit older than the usual, 36 it’s turns out (I’m 44 so a good age match for me), a little bit taller, slim with nice boobs and a curvy 36 year old butt, dresses quite elegantly (not at all slutty). She has a very sexy, sophisticated, deep look to her eyes.

Anyway, it’s pretty obvious to me right from the instant I set eyes on her that this is going to lead to trouble. We get all the usual conversation out of way pretty quick. I’ve got all the basic Q&A in Thai down pat at this point. So I pay the bar fine and we head back to the room.

I’m not going to talk too much about the sex part other that to say, wow! It’s already clear to me that I’m going to spend the rest of this trip with her so we talk about financial details a bit and she agree to get an AIDS test with me at Sumui International Hospital in Cheweng the next day.

It costs 750 bhat each, takes about 30 mins to get the results and is pretty painless. One of the added benefits of going to the Sumui International Hospital is they have the cutest little nurses in cute little nurse uniforms running around everywhere. I was so checking them out, they were obviously thinking, dirty old bastard, here to get a test so he can bang one girl bare back and checking me out like I’m next!

So no problem with the tests. I rented a nice 250 dirt bike for the day to get to Cheweng and we had a bunch of fun on the dirt roads and trekking up to a waterfall.

I’m not going to bother with a day by day account at this point, just the key points if anyone out there is interested. I’m writing all this stuff pretty much as it’s happening, mostly as a diary for me so I can look back on it later.

She’s from the north, close to Chiang Mai. Divorced with 10 year old daughter. The daughter lives with ex hubby while she brings home the bacon. I’m still working on getting the full story about what what’s going on back on the farm. I asked to go and visit her home town; the way she describes it sounds like paradise (which considering I’m already in paradise is intriguing). Anyway, she doesn’t want to take a farang anywhere near her home town because she’s ashamed of been a bar girl and presumable of been with me (at least based on the circumstances, hopefully not me personally). I really do think she like me and yes I know that’s the first rule in the bar girl manual, “make the farang think you like/love him”. Time will tell if I’m right or just another stupid farang sucker.

I think it’s interesting that she is ashamed to let her family know about me, yet I have no problem telling my friends back home about her and her background. I am 100% sure (ok, maybe 99% sure) that’s the only reason she is a bar girl is to make a better life for her daughter. It would be nice if she could make a good living another way I guess, and part of me suspects she probably could if she put her mind to it, she’s very clever, but who am I to judge. I left my soon to be ex-wife and kids to come to Thailand for over a month to bang hot Thai girls so that doesn’t exactly make me a saint.

So my current mission in life is to get to the bottom of what’s going on up north. I’ll keep you posted.

******

I’m back in USA. Man, this place sucks after 6 weeks in LOS. Here’s the recap of the missing 4 weeks of my story: in love with chick from Samui, went up north to a mountain town outside of Chiang Mai, bought land, start building house in 2 months!

Singing off, and probably will not be back, it’s been interesting. Have a great time out there all of you.

Very nice post, Rhino Tusk, and I agree with you about liking the pace of Samui.

And very good luck to you, Tamaman, as it sounds as though you're seriously gonna need it.

Hi all,

Just back from another little trip to Samui, as had business to do in Cambodia, got out of Bangkok asap, flew down to Samui, stayed at Lamai Wanta, IMHO great position, great value, big room with sea view only 1350bht, full of like minded people, nice staff and no agro.

Scene is getting worse in Lamai, bars awful, nipped up to Chewang, forget bar girls spent 4 hours searchingand came up with nothing, the scene is all freelancers, went up to Soi Green Mango, at 11.30 went to sweet soul, bar opposite Green Mango, picked up a lovely girl, preformed great stayed 3 days never mentioned money, I bung her a few quid when I left, only thing was she did not want to preform with another girl, well you cant have everything.

As far as eating goes, oppersite the Central Hotel in Chewang, Soi Colibri has some quite good resteraunts on it, check them out if you get chance

If anyone has any good tips for Samui, I am heading back in about 4 weeks on my way to Hong Kong, so please let me have the info

Thanks in advance

I was in Koh Samui last week. Beware of the Ladyboys that freelance next to Starbucks and Burger King. Some of them are real convincing.

In regards to getting a freelancer - just walk around 1:30 - 2:00am around Green Mango Street, 7-11, and Burger King. Make sure you smile and say hi to the girls you're interested in. You'll be propositioned soon enough. You can get ST for 3-500 baht and LT for 500-1000 baht.

Jake the Snake,

You know some girls in Koh Samui who'll go LT for only 500 baht? Jeez-I'd hate to wake up to her mug in the morning!

Seriously though, I'll agree with you that the ST and LT prices in Koh Samui are definitely lower than in Bangkok and Phuket... though the babes in Koh Samui aren't in the same league as those in Bangkok or Phuket. They have noticeably darker complexion (which I like) in Koh Samui, though stunners there are hard to find. Perhaps my observation about the lack of stunners was due to my being there in mid-November, which is about a month before their peak season starts...

JTS, if you know, can you let us know about girl-friendy hotels in Chaweng Beach? Last time I went to Koh Samui, I stayed at the Samui Natien Resort (which I really liked!)... though since I brought a Bangkok babe with me, I didn't ask about their overnight guest policy. Would have spoiled the mood with my little Bangkok vixen, know what I mean?

Barrister,

I stayed at Chaweng Gardens Beach Hotel - right across from 7-11. I had a decent air-conditioned room with private bath and nice garden view balcony for only 750 baht a night. They were guest friendly.

Good Bye, Samui
=============

Samui is not same like before any more. It has lost a lot of its charme.

Obviously Samui got rich – too fast. The ambiente of the place is changing, faster than I ever saw it somewhere else. The small wooden made shops, selling clothes, souvenirs, artwork etc. are more and more disappearing and replaced by buildings with glass fronts and professional decorations, selling much more expensive, and especially selling the same goods you can buy everywhere over the world.

Cheaper guesthouses are replaced by more expensive hotels, and the 5 star hotel chains are taking over more and more of the good locations close to the beaches. Restaurants everywhere, but except to some seafood places not so much Thai food any more, but lots of Italian, Suisse, German, Indian restaurants, BBQ-places and general Western Food shops.

The beaches are filled over and over with beach couches, and though the high season is just starting it is already overcrowded. More and more families are in town (Chaweng), staying one or two weeks for their standard European/American/Australian vacation. The place now reminds me more to a Mediterranean sea bath. I talked to a guy from the local tourist authorities, and he told me that it is the target to reduce the numbers of single-men travelers (= sex tourists) and increase the numbers of families. Those families were spending more money. I know this interesting calculation already from the Prime Ministers Interior Minister, and though it is definitely wrong they Thai Tourist Authorities simply believe it. The sizes of bar areas is reduced year by year, in Lamai an area with more than 40 bars were broken down to built a shopping center, and the bars did not reopen in other locations.

Backpackers have left the Island already years ago, some of them are still coming to Ko Phanang. The days before the Full Moon Party there is a bit more action in the city, but this time I noticed that obviously not the real backpackers are participating, but groups of young men joining into the game, drinking like crazy and behaving like English Soccer Hooligans.

And the naughty night life?

The bar area around Green Mango is only crowded during the days around the Full Moon Party (btw. there is a half moon party too, now). During the normal times you find people there after midnight, and then there are only two hours left for action. Green Mango sucks, it is difficult to get in because the entry bridge is now obviously designed to be a dance floor, and you have to pass lots of half naked sweating trance dancers to get in. The music in all the bars is way too loud, and there are areas you get music from 3 sound systems - it is really hard to stand it.

The quality of girls is low in general. The two gogo bars provide some lookers, but if you go there after 9 PM they are already gone. Many girls do not speak English, and I have more and more the impression, that there are many farmers daughters in Samui who cannot work successfully in Bangkok or Pattaya. Not so beautiful, a bit more heavy, and not experienced in their techniques, no good service.

The Pink Lady has around 20 girls now, you can see them sitting in front of the shop between 5 and 7 PM. If you go there at 10 PM you do not see ANYBODY any more, obviously everybody is busy.

The bar area around Reggae Pub is not very crowded, not many girls, and no lookers. Inside the Reggae Pub there is some action after 11 PM, but I never find a girl which really could speak more than 3 words English, and their beauty did not really convince me to proceed with anything.

There is a bar area opposite of an “Irish Pub”, on the old street from Chaweng Beach to the Reggae Pub area, 5 – 6 bars, where some more lookers are working, but here the same phenomenon – the nice ones are going out early, and many are booked for 1 week or 2 as soon as they come to their bar.

Another bar area is in the north of Chaweng next to the SCB outlet. 2 – 3 bars, many girls, very professional, more expensive than in other places – may be I give it a try there, but my expectations are not very high, somehow I expect them to be piranhas – I can feel that.

There is an oil massage area behind the Starbucks – I tried it one time, but both massage and BJ was so bad that I left after 30 min. and made my way back to the hotel, after telling the boss that he should better close down his shop than provide lousy services like that.

Prices are starting with 500 baht for ST, sometimes LT, because the girls prefer to sleep in hotels instead of their crowded rooms. Standard is 1000 baht for ST, 1500 LT, 2000/2500 for gogo girls. Barfines 200/300 baht – don’t know the gogo bars.

Disappointing. I give this island another two years, and then it doesn’t make any sense to go there any more. There are better places to go.

Regarding the night life part – I would declare Samui to be a sex-free zone, either you bring your TG from Bangkok, Pattaya or Patong - or you sleep alone.

Well said, Giotto. That matches my opinion from eighteen months ago, and it sounds as though it's gotten even worse. Too bad, as Samui used to be an absolute gem -- a quieter and more mellow version of Phuket. Now it's a commercial madhouse with the small mom-and-pop Thais being squeezed out as multinationals elbow in.

Giotto,

The one place is still quiet to go to in Samui is the Bhudda beach but there not many hotel options there.

The thing I like about Samui is that you can get away from the mongering to relax. Yes, it is becoming more commercial and its loosing its charm. I usually stay on Chewing beach and take day trips to other beaches in the island.

As far as bringing a bar girl with you to the island it's an option but a bad idea for me. Two years ago I flew a girl fom Bangkok. Two days later I flew her back to Bangkok when I realized that long time with a bar girl is not for me.

You mentioned that there are other better places? Where?

Giotto,

I had a much better experience during my stay on Koh Samui.

Lamai Beach was fantastic: lots of open-air bars, many girls, you have an option to inspect a bar and the girls at the bar before you commit, etc. Girls heavily outnumber punters. Not too many stunners, but enough cuties to make your pick.

The girl that I barfined there at one of the bars, Toy, was not a stunner, but was quite sexy and, in all honesty, performance was much better than most of the girls I've been with in BKK. I paid 200 Baht barfine, 1,000 Baht (LT) for Toy, and 40 Baht for the motorbike. Total damage: 1,240 Baht.

Besides the girls, the beach was breathtaking - lots of space, few people, etc. Excellent food, swaying palm trees, what else does one need?

Of course, I don't know what the scene was like 10 years ago, but I liked it and would visit again given the opportunity.

Just my two cents.

I tell you guys, you should have seen Samui 25 years ago. It was FUCKING FABULOUS.

Went there back in 1980, had to take the ferry from Surat Thani. Upon arrival there were a few tuk tuk which could take you to either Chaweng, or Lamai. We opted for Chaweng, walked down the beach until we found a cute place next to "poppies". $3.00 per night, cold water with a fan.

The cool thing was that poppies had an amazing breakfast. MAGIC MUSHROOM omelettes for next to nothing. It was great to sit on the beach all day, and watch the sand change shapes.

food was awesome, beer was 20 baht.

God to be young again.

Will never go back, I want to remember it the way it was.

JuiceSpike,

Agreed. There are some beaches left on Samui, if you are willing to do daytrips out of the tourist towns Chaweng and Lamai. But - you have to return, and it is the question whether you like to stay in this tourist centers or not.

I forgot to mention that the traffic situation reminds me on Bangkok now. Every taxi is stopping close to each walking group of tourists, to pick up customers, and the motorbyke drivers are pissed because of that permanent stop and go, and tend to start risky take-over manovers. It's not really traffic - it's a kind of civil way, using bykes as weapons. To cross the main road in Chaweng can be a risky and long lasting adventure.

There are beaches around Hua Hin and especially Chumpon, which I would prefer in this days to Samui. But - those beaches are nearly not developed, and a night life does not exist.

Also agreed, that it is not a good idea to bring a bar girl to Samui and try to stay together longer than a day. You need to check that out before travelling, otherwise you can experience some surprises. But - it is not that difficult to find somebody to stay with for a week or so, and normally I never go to Samui for longer than a few days.

I've just arrived back in BKK after 14 days in Samui, Pha Ngan and Toa. I totally agree with the sentiments expressed below about Ko Samui. The place is totally over-commercialised, it reminded me of a resort on the Costa Del Sole.

After one day in Chaweng I moved down to Lamai because Chaweng is completely family orientated. Lamai has loads of bars and very few farang at the moment. Seriously, the ratio of men to women must be 1:10. this demand and supply situation is very good for fellow hobbyists. Now, I don't agree with the guys who comment that there aren't any good looking girls in Samui. In Lamai there seemed to be more than enough at 7+ to keep me occupied for a few days. Further, as there are very few farang around you have your pick.

On my first day I was astonished when a cutie named her asking price for LT as 500Bht. I was more than happy with this, as it was midnight I assumed that I could bargain the bar fine. However, I was not asked for a bar fine. In fact in all of my time in Samui I was never asked to pay a bar fine when taking girls out. However, I did drop 200-1,400BHT every night in whichever bar I was taking the girl out from.

I soon learned that all the girls from each bar stay together in one large room (oh would I like a night in that room!), - However, other farang told me that there living conditions are pretty foul and they all seemed pretty desperate to spend a night in an air-conditioned hotel room with nice bath room etc etc. Twice the 'best friend' of the girl I took out came along for the 'ride' (which she got!) - I'd slip her 200Bht in the morning for 'taxi'.

So, in Lamai beach the most I paid for all night was 500Bht and on three occassions I paid nothing. I got to know a few of the bar manageresses, typically these women are late 30's to early 40's. Not quite in the Bangkok mould of mamasans, they keep the girls in line etc. To my eyes they are more than good looking and are very experienced. Anyway, it soon become clear that the manageresses would go LT for free. You do have to wait around until 2am, but then they don't have to get back to the bars until 3 pm the next day - so you can do your good batting in the morning session!

My recommendations on Lamai bars would be the ones beside McDonalds, particularly the 4th one up from the road - great girls and a blinding manageress whose picture I'll post when back in blighty. Another recommendation would be the german bar behind Bauhaus , on the corner with all the little bars running off to the right. Finally, a great bar is the one on the left at the southern end of the main drag (as you travel south) just before the road turns right up a steep hill towards Nice Resort. All 3 girls from there and the manageress were very accomodating and fully understood the demand-supply laws of economics!

Kens,

Yes, Lamai is better than Chaweng, less commerical and smaller. Also, there seems to be more beer bars in Lamai but the quality and variety still the same as Chaweng. I think Samui is best for relaxing and not mongering.

Kens, yes, I've been in some of the places the ladies stay in Samui, and foul pretty well sums up a lot of them. Unbelievably cramped, little in the way of light or amenities, not much room for anyone to move around.

Thanks for the report!

let me add a positive plug about koh samui.

i've been there twice now and each time, i wind up spending more time than originally planned.

bottom line: it's relaxing.

my typical day in samui:

stay in a beach hotel, wake up around 10 a.m. (or whenever i get up), no shower, walk to the beach, go swimming in the calm water for about an hour. i like swimming in phuket, patong beach, also, but it's a change of venue to swim in the dead still.

come out, take a rinse-off at the outdoor shower.

get a real, non-sexual massage, on the beach by a certified massuse. can't beat 200-baht for one hour. i have to say there's certainly a difference between a certified massuse at that famous school in bangkok (what's it called? wat pho or something?) and the nonsense massage places on the street. it's hard to describe the feeling of it, but it's certainly worth it if you can find a massuse that's qualified. best to stick with the reputable hotels on this one.

after the massage, go swimming for another hour or so, or maybe grab a meal or some fresh fruit on the beach.

i practically live on the beaches during the day so i get to know many people, including the israelis playing frisbee, the thai workers, and the general community.

as for the ladies, sometimes i look, sometimes they find me. the best experience i had was meeting three girls relaxing on the beach on one of the holidays when the bars were closed. personally, i think many of the ladies would do pretty good hanging out on the beach, or even doing some swimming, but many of them have worries about getting darker.

as for the ladies, if you don't meet someone during the day, there's plenty of options at night. the bars, the streets, the kick-boxing stadium when there's international competitions (and yes, you can even meet lady spectators), reggie club, soi green mango, or just cruising along the back roads or chilling in lamai.

regardless, there's something about this place where i wind up extending my original stay, maybe i've just been lucky with the ladies, who knows.

my two cents about the full moon party, if you're going to go, stay in samui and the night of the party, take the speed boat for 600 baht which picks you up at your hotel (i have a previous post somewhere on this topic). if you have a lady you're happy with, bring her along if you like. if not, just go and relax and enjoy. you may or may not find someone, but who needs to get laid every single night? more energy for the next night.

for now, i don't see anything keeping me away from samui. i just find it a change of venue from the mainstream scene.

The dish on the FMP (full moon party) on KPG (Koh Phan Gnan)

First, let me say that the FMP is long past its prime; back in the day, when it was still a bit of an underground event, it was a genuinely interesting cultural phenomenon. It's since devolved into a kind of pro-forma "rave" with all the real "ravers" long since gone, mostly replaced by VERY drunk Europeans and Australians.

You can expect the beach at Haad Rin to be crowded with three to five thousand (mostly young, mostly farang) partiers. Most will be drunk (some even combative. Late into the affair, you'll see some folks pissing in the ocean, passed out all over the beach, and puking randomly). Many will be high on ecstasy or methamphetamine. Along the beach are about a dozen or so bars, each with enough power coming through its PA system to rattle your skull to bits. Each has a different DJ, and the sound systems do conflict. There really isn't anywhere to go to escape the noise or people, so if you're headed there, be ready to go all night. If you need to leave, of course, the longtails (water taxis) come and go throughout the night and well into the morning.

It is a full-on, ear-splitting bacchanale. You'll see lots of flag waving, wild gyrating and dilated pupils. Nakedness from time to time; some it lovely, some of it revolting. Bring water, because it's not always easy to get your naam plao when the party's at its peak, and if you get dehydrated you will not have a good time, I assure you.

The best way to do the FMP is not, in my opinion, to take the water taxi from Samui for the night. You will miss the best of KPG. The best way, if you have the time, is to go to KPG a few days early and stay in either Haad Rin itself or on one of the nearby beaches, such as Haad Tien (my favorite). There's a place in Haad Tien called the Sanctuary which is really beautiful, has excellent food, a nice spa and relatively cheap accomodation. It's very much a bungalow type of beach, and you can stay in a decent bungalow (fan, hot shower, electricity for part of the evening) for about US $5/night. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you will be blessed to wander aimlessly on beautiful, uncrowded, undeveloped beaches (Wynam Beach, just a short walk from Haad Tien, is my favorite little cove). You'll meet cool travellers from all over the world, and not only backpackers. And this, really, is the key to having fun at the FMP. You really need to be with a group to enjoy it to its fullest. If you go with only a friend or a BG you picked up in Samui or BKK, you'll spend most of the night drinking and maybe dancing, but mostly staring at everyone. If you're with a big group of people you've gotten to know for a few days, your chances of having a balls out good time are much higher.

If you're going to the FMP hoping to pick up a girl, think again. Most of the farang women are there for the party, and as drugged or drunk as they might be, they're not likely to run off with a strange guy they just met, unless you happen to have fabulous abs and can groove to drum n' bass. There aren't many (if any) sex workers at the FMP, so you'd be out of luck in that regard as well. But if you make some cute friends by staying on KPG for a few days in advance of the party, your chances are pretty good.

Some people want to stay in Haad Rin itself, but it's mostly the young backpacker set. It gets ridiculously crowded a couple of days in advance of the FMP, so if you want to stay in Haad Rin, get there a few days early. Otherwise, take a longtail and stay at one of the other beaches and then take the longtails to and from the FMP. Another benefit to doing it this way is that you can take a break from the party; if you get weary, just take a longtail back to your bungalow, chill for a while, and then take it back again. The ride is, maximum, 100b.

You can, of course, get drugs at the FMP, but you are taking a huge risk. There ARE cops there, both in uniform and undercover. And beware Thais selling opium, X or pot; they'll sell you what you want, then alert the police, from whom they get a reward. If you want to do drugs in Thailand, bring them with you or get them from a trusted source. If you get caught, you are going to a VERY ugly place for a VERY long time. There is ZERO tolerance in LOS.

Don't bring anything to the party that you would be unhappy to get wet, to lose, to get crushed, or to get stolen. There is nowhere safe to leave a bag or camera, and if you carry anything, you'll have to hang on to it all night long.

Some things to bring: earplugs; the bars are VERY loud. You can hear the music perfectly well with the earplugs in. If you want to take a break from the noise, the earplugs are your best friends. Bring some form of foot protection, like rubber flip-flops. There is often broken glass hidden in the sand. And if you lose them, no big deal. A pareu (sarong) is also a good idea. Versatile. You can use it as a towel, to sit in the sand, and when you're not using it, you can just wrap it around you. And, if you know how to tie it correctly, it can even become an impropmtu chair. Again, if you lose it, no biggie.

With all its challenges, though, the FMP is something to see at least once in a lifetime. You may not love it, but you won't forget it.

poph gan mai khrap!

Crypsis,

I was just about to add a report on The Full Moon Party (I went on 2nd August), however you've done all the work for me.

I concur with most of your report. I stayed between Thong Sala & Ban Tai. It was definately better than getting a boat over from Samui. KPG is a much more chilled island than Samui, the beaches are stunning & I met some great people staying in my bungalow place. The bungalow operation was an experience in itself, graet restaurant serving some of the best food that I've had in Thailand. I travelled alone, but it was in this bungalow restaurant that I got to know the crowd with whom I went to the FMP.

I agree with your description of the FMP - basically a lot of pilled up teenagers dancing to hard house. However, it did get a lot better after 3am (after the kiddies had crashed) and the morning party (from sunrise to 11am) was great. I disagree that the farang women are not up for it. I enjoyed 2 ladies at the FMP, the first was a Swiss girl who was staying in the bungalows next to me, I'd got to know her in the restaurant place. We all got a Songthaew down to FMP together. When we got down there her & I danced & drunk and at about 1am I dragged her back behind the bungalows at the far left of the beach - it was a drunken affair, but a fun one for all parties. The next day back at our bungalows we laughed about it...,

The second girl was an English girl. She was getting serious attention from a Thai guy who did not seem to be able to read the 'get lost' signs. I played the 'I'm just having a good time, not trying to shag you' card. we wound up in her bungalow in Haad Riin at about 4am. Afterwards we both went back to the party and 'lost' each other.

All in all the Full Moon Party was a bit of a disappointment. It was nowwhere near the bacchanalia, drug induced orgy I was led to expect. In fact in many ways it was tamer than many UK festivals or spring break in Miami. However, the setting is gorgeous and Ko Pha Ngan is not to be missed.

Great report, Crypsis.

I've never been to a FMP and might consider including it in my itinerary for my next trip, which should take place at some point in the next few months of next year. I love beach parties.

FM in the first few months of next year are on 25th Jan, 23rd Feb, 25th Mar and 24th Apr, so I might try to include one of these dates in my trip and attend the FMP.

I heard some time ago that the Thai government was considering banning the FMP's, or changing them from the actual day in which there is a full moon to the day before or after, or banning them in some months -it was for religious reasons. Does anyone have any news on this? Are the FMP's still taking place on the FM night every single month of the year?

Gladiator,

They are still on every month, they also have beach parties twice a month, on Samui, they call them Black moon parties. In my experience, just get the boat over from Samui dont even think of staying on KPY, no nice accomodation.

They have been talking about scrapping the FMP for years, its such a massive earner for Samui and KPY, and Thailand they will never scrap them.

Good luck

Thanks for all the compliments, gents! I tried my best to give an honest account.

Good for you, Ken, that you got a little at the FMP; as I said, if you meet someone ahead of time and then go (as you did), your chances are pretty good. You seem to have lucked out with the English girl! Good on ya.

You're right about the later hours of the party. But unless you get there late or have some chemical enhancement, it's hard to make it much past four or five. At least for me.

KPG rocks. I disagree that there are "no good accomodations." Of course, if you're looking for a pool and a five-star hotel, you're on the wrong island. KPG is about simplicity (and big ass-geckoes in your bungalow). Baggy pants, loose shirts, hours of quiet and nothing to do.

Heaven!

When do the Black Moon parties take place? Are they timed with any phase of the Moon or with any specific days of the month? And do they happen always on a certain beach or all around the island?

Thanks,

Dear Gladiator,

Black moon parties, go on probably twice a month, but there is always beach parties, another one is Rocky Bay, they normally go on near Chong Mon beach, check it out when you there.

I have never seen a beach party on Chewang apart from new years which was great.

In reply to Crypsis, I appologise, I could not find accomodation on KPG to suit me, but the place is very relaxing.

I have just landed in Bangkok so will post a full Samui report in a couple of days.

Just a little info on the gogo's in Chaweng. Firstly, the girls are not exactly stunners but they do look better later at night as the Heineken takes effect!! Secondly, there are only two gogo's in Chaweng. I don't really hang out in Lamai but I don't believe there is a gogo there.

I have an expat friend that has lived in Samui for about six years. When I was there last month he told me that the LT rate for the gogo girls is B2,000 and that the fee must be paid BEFORE you leave the gogo. The gogo doesn't get any of the B2,000....only the bar fine. This info was confirmed by another guy on a different board.

I've been going to Samui the early 1990's and have never paid more than B1,00 for LT. Indeed, B500 is readily available. I guess the reason you pay up front is that the gogo girls have experienced problems getting the extra B1,000 from punters.

Any ideas?

Hi Monger Team,

It's been a few years since I've been to Koh Samui. The last couple times I've been to T Land, I haven't been able to pry myself away from Pattaya. The ass is just too good there. When I was in Koh Samui I stayed at both Chaweng and Lamai. I can't say that I particularily preferred one over the other. However, there definately seems to be a bit more of a selection down at Lamai. My friends and I will be going to T land in November. What do you guys think the scene will be like then? Will it be worth a visit (female wise)? Let me know what you think!

J. Ride, Koh Samui has different weather patterns than, say, Phuket, even though they're very close together, because it's on the east coast and Phuket's on the west. This means that they deal with different monsoon systems. Samui's rainy season is from October to mid-December or so, compared to Phuket's May through October or so.

It's worth noting that lots of travel agencies get this wrong -- last time I was in Koh Samui in early December there were a lot of pissed off tourists who'd been told there would be no rain then.

It's raining right now on Ko Samui which is why I'm ducking into the internet cafe to write this. I rented a motorbike and I'm on the other side of the island from my hotel so rain does put a damper on things. But the weather has been great for the couple of days I've been here.

This is my first time in Thailand, and I've got to say it is a different mongering scene from anywhere I've ever been.

I'm staying in Bo Put at the World resort. Great place, quality AC bungalows with all conveniences and great garden landscaping, backing up to a beautiful beach. They asked 1250/nite off season, and I negotiated down to 1000/nite (about $25).

It's hard finding taxis at night in Bo Put, but after about 20 minutes of walking along the road I got one to Chaweng. Most of the action is on a street that ends in the Green Mango club, a huge open air dance club. There are maybe a half dozen gogo bars and clubs in town, and I checked out Dreamgirls. It was kind of fasicnating in a somewhat depraved way. 8 or so girls dancing simulataneously on the small rotating stage in a sort of sad way. I was totally horny from no action for three days, so I didn't object when a 4 girl came up and started rubbing my parts through my pants. I bought her a drink and tried to talk but the music and the language barrier made it hard. I didn't realize how horny I was, but her rubbing my crotch was enough for me to get release... I wasn't trying to make that happen but it just snuck up on me. Feeling a little less motivated, I left Dreamgirls and walked around town. There were maybe a half dozen gogo bars where girls would all wave as I walked by, but they generally were not too attractive so I didn't follow up on that.

Ended up going to hang out at the Green Mango and a few other dance clubs nearby. These are clubs that are not geared towards P2P, mostly filled with drunk westerner 20 somethings partying and Thai folks out having a good time. Tried chatting up some of the Thai gals that were hanging around in groups of girls. About half the time got very cold fish response, but the other half of the time got very enthusiastic responses. Seems there are pros and nonpros.

What is cool about the scene is that at these clubs the pros are hanging out with their girlfriends and various guys, drinking smoking dancing and generally enjoying a fun night out. I found someone who was cute (7.5) and who I was interested in. Chatted for a few minutes and asked her to dance. For the first few minutes it was all very normal like getting to know any western girl, but soon I noticed that she was brushing my private parts a little and I took the cue and pretty soon we were doing the bump and grind (fully clothed of course) on the dance floor. I didn't feel too out of place doing it, as there were other couples, western and thai doing the same. But I have gotta say it was freeing to be there on my own so that I wouldn't be embarrassed by friends watching.

I asked her if she wanted to come to my bungalow, and she said "you know you have to pay me". "How much?" "How much do you think I'm worth?" "I'll give you one Thousand". "One thousand five hundred" "Sounds good. 1500".

More enthusiastic bump and grinding on the dance floor, and at 2am when the music stopped I said lets go. Not so fast she says, she wants to hang out some more. She talks about bringing her friend (about a 5) with for no extra charge. I wasn't into it, but her friend seems enthusiastic about pleasuring me, so I agree. A few minutes she's talking with her friends who haven't found dates and says "okay 6 girls come with us to your bungalow and points them all out (most are 6-7). No way I say.

She wants to say out and party for another hour (see this is what is fun about Thailand, but also can be a pain). We go to an after hours club and she tries to get me in the pool with her. I'm getting an idea that I have to be careful that my wallet doesn't get rifled through with this gal. We hang out for a while and she chats with all her friends. This seems to be a good thing; her friends all seem to find places to sleep, so when we leave it's just me and her.

I say lets get a taxi, she says no the only way she's willing to go is on her motorbike. I'm not particularly excited about riding on the motorbike of a stranger who I've been buying drinks, but you know what they say about the little brain. I tell her to go slow and we drive the 10km or so to my place, while she complains about how far away it is (she hadn't heard of the World resort).

In retrospect, I should have held firm and gotten myself a taxi there just to eliminate the possibility of being taken to someone who would rob me, as well as the road rash possibilities. She could follow the taxi in her motorbike to find the hotel. Next day I rented a motorbike of my own, so I can ride separately next time.

Anyway, we get back to my place, and since this is my first time in Thailand I'm a bit paranoid about where to hide my money stashes (money belt, and wallet, both with a few hundred USD in Bhat). While she's showering I hide one in my toilet kit and another in my luggage. While I'm in the bathroom I hear some noises from the room that sounds like she might be lifting up furniture to see if there's anything hidden underneath... or maybe I'm paranoid :-)

I make a point of coming out of the bathroom without warning a few times to keep her on her toes. Each time she's lying placidly in the bed, so maybe I'm just paranoid.

Anyway, we do the deed GF style, with me pleasuring her first and her doing a convincing impression of enjoying. It is overall great service, although not completely enthusiastic she's not cutting corners.

Watch some TV, go to sleep, and in the morning do it again. Condom slips off and gets lodged inside her vagina, which makes for a messy situation. I keep contraceptive gel on hand for these kind of possibilities (never used it before), and so I give it to her after she washes up. She seems suspicious of me, and frankly I probably would be too in her position.

With us both suspicious of each other, the vibes are such that she leaves soon after. I give her 1900, about $45. (1500 negotiated, plus a bit for the "motorbike taxi" and a bit more for the unfortunate accident so she can get a day after pill).

Overall, I think I like Thailand a lot. I especially like that you can pick up "Independent Contractors" who are out having a good time in discos. That seems a clear indication that they're doing things on their own free will, unlike some of the gals in the US MPs who are not there by choice.

And I've never been able to afford having a P2P gal over all night in the US, so it was a treat to have that experience.

Looking forward to better experiences!

I think if I get my valuables hidden deep within my luggage (enslosed under several layers of sacks and stuff), and put that somewhere hard to access (like under the bed), and have my own transportation to my hotel, I can lower the paranoia factor to a very acceptable level.

Hi Sexumn,

The rain now will be even worse in November.

I'm a long time visitor to Samui and know lots of locals and expats. Anyway, just two points on your good post.

There are only two go go bars in Chaweng. One on the left at the entrance to Soi Green Mango and the second (the original one) to the left as you approach the Green Mango. All the other bars there are just beer bars. Sweet Soul gets full of farang backpacker girls from about 2230 on. They all seem to drink vodka and red bull.

Second point is...never pay any more than B1,000 for LT for any girl from the bars. My friends tell me the girls in the two go go bars charge crazy money (something like B2,500...I forget now) and you have to pay the bar up front. Fuck that as those girls are not even stunners. Much better lookers in Pattaya for B1,000.

Extra point....if you are staying in Bo Phut...beautilful little place...go and have some food at my friends place. Farang type food but they will do "off menu" once they get to know you. Its called Juzza...owned by a Thai guy and his wife. They also have a few rooms overlooking the beach for around B1,200 a night ( I think!). As you approach the beach from the traffic lights at the main road...turn right....most of the bars etc there are left. Its about 100 yards down the street.

My bit.

Buddy,

The semi pro or pro am scene is the best, relax, the chances of being robbed are slim especially when you spent so long wining and dinging her. These ladies are great, try again, do not carry so much cash and fuck your brains out!

Yeah, the gal in Dream Girls asked 2500 (500 bar fee and 2000 for LT), and said emphatically that everyone charges the same amount.

Another thing I'm learning is to check the hands as they say. There are a lot of "Lady Boys", both TV and TS that look not only really female, but really attractive :-) There was one "gal" that I spent a few minutes talking with before I realized she used to be a he.

OK boys, here is the deal. I've had some fun in DR and now find myself about 2 weeks away from a last minute 5 day trip to Samui for New Year's. I am planning to stay on Chaweng beach. My last mongering trip was in the DR and the hotel I chose was not girl friendly at all. I've read the forum, but haven't found any info about a good, clean, inexpensive place on the beach that will allow our newly found female friends to spend the night. I've had quite a few ST, but am looking for a few 1 or 2 night LT while I am there. If you've been there and can provide some helpful info, please let me know.

Of course, you can expect a full report in January when I return.

Nefarious,

I have stayed at several places in Samui before but the best bet for you is to do a search yourself in Google, type: koh samui, Thailand and you will get tons of info on where to stay.

If you are going for new years I suggest you make your reservation for hotel ASAP because that's a very bussy time there. Also, if you plan to fly from BKK to Samui you will need to reserve your ticket soon because those flights get booked fast.

Thanks Juice. My real question isn't just where can I stay, but rather where can I stay that is girl friendly as well as nice. Finding a nice hotel online can be a hit or miss thing. I'd rather get a recommendation from a fellow punter. WSG members have been a valuable source of information in the past.

Once you find a hotel you like just email that hotel and ask if they are OK you bring a girl. Don't be shy, they know what you are talking about.

Hey guys, I just made it back from my first trip to Koh Samui! It was a beautiful island with a lot of fun at things to do at the beach. A buddy of mine and I went together, but had to book at different hotels because the room shortage due to peak season. We stayed on Chaweg beach. I was at Samui Plaza hotel. It was a cheap place, but maid service was good and while I didn't have a in-room safe, there are lockers down in the lobby where I stored my cash and other valuables. It costs 20 baht each time you lock the box. When I brought a girl back to the room, I just stuck my wallet in there. If you want more details or the email address for the hotel let me know. They told me at the desk that I would have had an even better rate if I had booked directly through them instead of Sawadee.

Anyway, our first afternoon on the island, we went to a massage place just off the main street. I saw a sign that said "four hand massage" and thought a 2 girl experience might be nice. It was 300 baht for the "massage," but the 1st girl that entered the room asked me if I wanted a "regular" massage or the "special." Of course, you know what I wanted. She offered the special with 2 girls at 4,000 baht. I just laughed and said I said I don't think so. I kept telling her it was too much and finally I got her down to 1,500 (plus a possible tip for good service) for 2 hours. I got undressed and she went out to get another girl. I told her small and cute. She brought back a sweet little cutie who was maybe a 7 or 8 in the looks department. Sex with them was sweet. They insisted on switching condoms for everything. We went through 6 of my condoms because I kept wanting to switch. I finally decided to bust my nuts when I pulled on my last condom. I didn't know if they had anymore or not. All in all it was fun, but not as much fun as what followed. My friend went for a single massage. It was his first time with a pro and when we met up he had a smile on his face all afternoon.

Later that night, we went to Chonthica's Bar and Grill. We both hooked up with a couple of hotties there and spent the rest of the week with them. My buddy got the better one of the two to tell you the truth. His spoke English was like a totally hooked girlfriend. We didn't make any deals with them so we had to bar fine them each night, but negotiations were already done. 1500 baht each night and we had them into the next day until we were ready to go off for fun on the beach. One night I fucked around too late and my girl got taken out by another dude. No worries... there are plenty of girls in Koh Samui.

My last night there was a bit crazy. We went out for a nice dinner with the girls and headed off to our rooms for a little fun before midnight. The only problem was that my girl was a little too drunk and started acting the fool. She asked me to stop about 15 seconds before I was about to bust a nut, so I stopped. She went in the bathroom for a few minutes and came out yelling at me in Thai. I have no idea what she was going on about, but she kept saying "bah bah bah," which is Thai for bar. So, I thought she wanted to go back out. So, I said, "OK, we go bah." I got dressed and she started yelling more and then she got dressed. I thought someone was going to call the cops. She was freaking me out. Anyway, while I was locking the room up, she left the hotel. I found her walking on the street. After some more yelling from her, I flagged down a motorbike taxi and gave him 20 baht and told him to take her back to the bar. Damn psycho.

So, with my nuts aching, I stumbled into a karaoke bar. There were about 10 Thai guys and 5 girls in this bar. A drunk guy came over to me and asked me where I was from. I told him America and he bought me a drink and began telling me how great America was and so on. He then asked if I liked any of the girls. I said sure I like all the girls just not the ladyboy in the corner. He then brought each girl by for a introduction. Even the one that was already with a Thai guy.

Finally a butch looking Thai woman came over and told me the prices for the girls. Her first offers were 2,000-5,000 baht for short time. I asked why so much. She said the 5,000 girl was young and new. I wanted the younger one, but I played it cool and tried negotiating for a different one. I finally got her down to 1,000 for one of the cute ones and then I said, maybe 1,000 for the youngest one. She said no way, at least 2,000 and that was her final offer. I said never mind and waved her off. Ten minutes later she kept looking at me and raising 2 fingers. I kept shaking my head no. Finally she came over and said 1,000 but I agreed that if she was good, she would get an additional tip of some kind. The barfine was 300 baht.

The ladyboy (who must have been the manager), walked with her all the way to my hotel room. She was very nervous and so I asked the manager if she was OK. Ladyboy told me that the girl was new to the business and not sure if she wanted to do it. At this point, I thought I might be in for a fucked up night but was prepared to go find another one if needed. Ladyboy assured me that if she failed to perform, another girl would be sent up for half-price that was guaranteed to please.

So after the ladyboy left, my new friend took a shower (with the door to the bathroom locked). She came out in a towel. I told her to lay down while I took a shower. After my shower, I came out to see her still sitting on the edge of the bed in her towel. I sat down beside her and she said "you America?" I said, "Yes, I am an American." She smiled and said, "America good." I said, "Sure, it's great. Now, let's that towel off of you." She held on tight to the towel and was so shy and was so scared she was shaking.

Earlier that day, I had purchased some Thai/English phrasebooks so we spend the next 15 minutes or so going through those. What finally helped her relax was when we were trying to teach each other how to say eyes, nose, ears, and mouth in each other's language I grabbed her nose and pretended to pull it off. I know it sounds a little childish, but she laughed and then I tickled her and she laughed some more and then I kissed her and pulled away the towel. I have to tell you when that towel came off, I saw the most amazing little body I've ever seen. She was perfect in every detail. She even had slightly larger than Thai average tits. Her pussy was clean shave except for a neatly trimmed patch.

I wanted a look at her pussy because it felt so nice, but she kept saying she was shy. So after about 1,000 kisses all over her sexy body she finally opened her legs. She enjoyed a long DATY session. We then had the most fun I've ever had having sex in my entire life. We laughed, kissed, tickled, and switched positions between her on top and me on top too many times to count. She is the only girl in Thailand that I fucked without a condom. I know that is risky and can't believe I did it myself (no flames needed. I know, I know). It was probably the most incredible orgasm I've ever had in my nearly 20 years of fucking. Don't flame me, but I gave her 2,000 baht (which was more than the agreed price) as it was so fucking incredible. I wanted to send the message that if you are that damn good, you deserve a bonus.

After sex, we cuddled on the bed and flipped though the Thai/English phrase books for a while until she got a call from the manager asking when she would be back. I walked her out of the hotel and her ladyboy manager was waiting for her right outside the door beside the hotel security guard. I walked them both out of the hotel and down the street to the bar where I shook ladyboys hand and gave my girl a hug and kiss goodbye. While we were together I found out that she was 19 years old and would be 20 in Februray and I was her first "professional" job. Of course, that could have been bullshit, but I bought it considering how much she was shaking before we started.

My plane left Koh Samui three hours later and I had a smile on my face the entire trip home. I've got pictures of the girls, but they told me I could take them only if I promised to keep them to myself. I gave my word, so they will stay private. Sorry guys. I will try to avoid making promises about that on the next trip.

Nice report, Nefarious, and glad you had a good time. For what it's worth, "ba" means "crazy" in Thai, and it's far from unusual for a TG to get very emotional and melodramatic when you're leaving after having been with her for a while, so that's probably the explanation for the last night's blowup.

But it sounds as though everything ended up roses in the end with your first-timer. I've had a couple of those situations and, depending on the woman involved, if you can play things right it can be incredible.

I am going to be staying at Le Royal Meridiean (www.meridien.kosamui.com) for some snorkeling and R&R before business in Bangkok. I realize that this resort is not in the thick of the mongering area, but I was wondering if folks knew if:

1) The hotel is guest-friendly. Since it is a pretty high-class joint, I wasn't sure.

2) There are any good mongering spots relatively close by.

3) If there are good chances to pick up freelancers or non-pros on the resort property itself.

You can reply by PM and I will summarize to the group.

Thanks!

Well, as far as scoring non-pros at the Meridien, I'd say no unless there are is a tour group containing a bunch of single women who happen to be there and you can talk a very good game. As for freelancers, I personally just got back from staying at a place in Maenam on Koh Samui, and there was absolutely nothing in the local vicinity. You will almost certainly have to make your way to the bars at either Chaweng or Lamai to score any action. I found that it was not a problem to get a bar girl in Chaweng to come back to my place for Long Time, or to score short time FS at one of the massage places in Chaweng. I suspect that the Meridien situation will be similar.

Don't know anything about the hotel you're staying at, but the main area for ladies (both pro and non-pro) is Soi Mango which horseshoes off the main beach road near it's northern end in Chaweng. Try the many beer bars for pros or the huge semi-open cluster of discos (great fun in their own right) at the far end of the soi for a mixture of girls. Pool bar on the same soi is worth a look for freelancers, and it's open most of the night.

Trav Man,

Me Méridien is a great hotel and a good choice. But it is far away from the hot spots of the island.

It is just as girl friendly as any other hotel in Thailand. Book a double room, come home late in the evening and have your love of the night look not too slutty.

The resort is obviously hooker-free, so you will have to get her imported from Chaweng or Lamai.

Another option that I do recommend is to travel with your own pillow, i.e. find a lady to your liking in Bangkok an fly her to Samui with you.

It is more expensive, you risk not getting along with her quite so well once in Samui and you do not get the variety of picking other ladies locally, but it has some obvious merits too.

Steen22,

Fact is that in January many (thousands of tourists...) had to sleep on the beaches of Koh Samui.
These people would have gone to Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Phang Nga, the Takua Pa area or other places in the South, but didn't for obvious reasons.

I had difficulty finding a room Pattaya in early February. Plane loads of Scandinavians went there instead of the before mentioned places.

Phuket is out of business, that much is clear, and we can only sit and wait to see when that changes. Or, of course, go there.

ThanksPlay1K,

Is this question serious ? I guess you live in far east and therefore want something different. For us European based guys hooking up with a Euro girl in Samui would be mad, there are so many beautiful Issan girls in Samui why would you want to get with a Euro girl ?

However, if you really do want to get with a Euro girl here are a few tips:

1) Don't bother hanging around in Samui, most of the Euro girls there are with their boyfriends/husbands. Samui is a fave destination for honeymooners ! Much better to get your self over to Koh Pha Ngan or Ko Toa. These islands have loads of backpackers / student types - girls who are much more likely to be on their gap year/RTW trip. These girls are less likely to be attached, more likely to be into having an experience, having fun. - see my report from August 04 on Full Moon Party http://www.*************.info/forum/showthread.php?t=1490&page=3&pp=15 - you can't fail to pull at FMP, aesthetics are not a consideration, if you're breathing you'll pull a girl at The Full Moon Party, just don't get too drunk as that can be a real turn off for the girls.

2) Euro girls on holiday in Thailand are at least fairly affluent, therefore don't bother trying to impress them with how much money you have. In Asia showing your money off seems to be fine, however most Euro girls would perceive ostentatious displays of wealth as being arrogant - a real turnoff.

3) They want you to be considerate, funny, charming and interesting - come on, it's not difficult !

Good luck and enjoy !

Mr Morton,

I don't really know Chaweng, but as an alternative try Lamai. In any of the beach side bungalow operations on Lamai beach you will not have any problems bringing girls back. All of these places are pretty open access so you can come & go as you please - no problems. The other advantage with Lamai is that there are many many beer bars in the centre of the village, with loads of girls around.

Try Samui Beach Resort in south Lamai - a very laid back & private place.

Enjoy !

Just left Samui last week. There are very few mongers there. Heeps and heeps of hookies all looking to go. In Chaweng on the soi with starbucks at the back end are some nice massage bars where 1300 baht will get you a nice massage and BJ and fuck. At the last one is a girl named Alexa who is a beautiful ****. She really gave a nasty BBBJ, and good massage. She actually has a nice heart, and is occasionally honest. In Lamai there are some easy pickings at the Thai Boxing stadium. Some hotties too, expect to pay 1000-1500. Also hotels are giving deals so negotiate

Koh Samui

Even though there are new constructions for resorts and stores all over Chewing the island still has a lot of charm.

This time of year is low season so not many tourists around and resorts are willing to negotiate their rental fees. I got a nice bungalow on the beach for 1,800bt/night with breakfast. For Samui, this is a good price.

Samui is a good place for relaxing and doing nothing. The warm waters, the hot days and on the beach massages are great if you just want to be low key. I toured the island on motorbike and saw new developments for houses for sale going up everywhere. Some good deals if you want to buy or lease for long term. I also went to a couple of island for day trips…

The Night Scene

Chewing has a few beer bars, clubs and a couple of go-go bars but I did not go into any of them. The girls are OK looking and if you like to chase them on motorbike you can as a few girls drive around and flirt with guys walking or riding… :D

Samui has a lot of couples and families. The girls play it low key compared to Bangkok or Pattaya.

I got really lucky. On my first day there, I was having breakfast around 8:30 in the morning when a nice 25 year old sexy woman sat on the table next to me. I started a conversation with her. She worked as a manager for a spa/resort. She was well educated and polite a woman whom I spent 4 days with her “dating” with no money involved. She was just lonely and wanted a friend and we got along well. She bought me a gift and took me out to dinner. She had a jeep so we drove around the island on her day off. She was so nice and accommodating that I felt a little bad for her because she was just lonely but I made no promises of long term or future visits, etc. It was a humbling experience because here I was spending time with a really sweet independent woman who never asked me too many questions about why I go to Thailand and what I do there. We talked a lot about her culture, family (only sibling) her father was a banker in Surattani but she was not spoiled like other well to do Thai women. She had a degree in engineering and had worked for the coca-cola company before in Korat. We had great sex and her skin was smooth and clean. Her body was fresh, nice shape and breasts… How different it is to fuck a regular woman compared to a working girl. I told her I had a gf in America and she said she somehow she knew I did and asked no questions. Even when my gf called me she would let me have privacy. What a woman! I was a complete gentleman with her until we got to bed…. D We will stay in contact via email and that’s all…. I’m a lucky bastard.

Samui (Chaweng Beach)

Beach vendors can get a little annoying because sometimes even if you dozing off or laying down sleeping they will talk to you into buying their staff. Also, some guys vendors offer drugs. I had a guy offer me from pot to opium… I passed :D. If you are into that kind of stuff I highly recommend you stick to just drinking alcohol because if you get caught the penalties are very high and you won’t see farang land for a long time. Bribing I heard works sometimes but you better have lots of cash handy…

Beach massage is great. The women working on the beach have 5, 10 or more years experience and they know how to do it right. The price for a Thai massage is 200/hr plus tip.

Big Budha is close to Chaweng and worth taking the trip to this site. Near by there are some empty beaches with few tourists.

Thai boxing is big on the island. They have matches 3 times a week and they are for real and not just demonstrations. The guy in the picture got beat up badly. I bet on him to a Thai guy sitting next to me 150bt. I lost..:D

Joe,

Yeah, Chaweng is already cluttered with little shops, restaurants, etc. But it still charming and worth a look or stay especially in low season. I have been there 4 times and still love the lazy, low key pace...

There are other areas definately worth visiting in Samui as long as you are not there for paid sex. I travelled along the coast and stopped by Big Buddha beach, BO Phut beach, and Maenam beach... These little towns were very nice and low key with only a few resorts or small hotels. In these areas I saw many home, condo developments projetcs for farangs and Thais with $. Good prices for what you get. Worth a look if anybody is in the market for this. There are also companies (Thai with farangs) that would build to your specs and provide all the consulting for land lease/ownership, etc.

Next time take a trip along the coast and you will find some nice places to get away from the clutter...

I was in Koh Samui a month ago, staying in Chaweng. Decided to hit one of the massage parlors for some fun. I went down the main drag until I came to Starbucks, then walked a few yards down the little street on its right. There were numerous massage parlors being advertised. I saw one that said "4 hands" like in a previous post, decided I'd try that one (though I didn't go for two girls). A woman walked out from under the eaves and approached me, asking if I wanted a massage. I said yes, I wanted a "special massage." She nodded and said yes, she did that, and took me inside. We went upstairs, where there was a room with two mattresses on the floor, with screens around them. She turned on the air conditioning, but the room didn't cool down very fast and I got sweaty.

I took off my clothes and she rubbed me all over with oil for a while, which was pleasant. When we got down to business, she asked for 2000 baht, which I knew was too much, especially in the off season. I countered with 1500 for two pops, which she agreed with. I got it almost all: bbbj, missionary, doggie, cowgirl. But she said she doesn't do anal. Tight pusy, I was glad I asked for two pops because I didn't last very long on the first round. I left spent with a smile on my face after taking a shower across the hall.

It's hard to remember her name at this point. It was something short, I want to say "Lan"? She was about 25, maybe five foot one, nice build, slim waist, long hair. She told she'd been working on Pattaya but the tsunami really reduced the business, so she went to Bangkok but didn't like it there, so she'd been in Samui for a month. She said she liked Samui, but it was the off season and she was still having trouble getting enough money (I was her first client of the day, at about 3pm).

juice1240bt sounds to me like hotel laundry service - which always subject to an obscene markup. Near any cluster of hotels you can find a laundry service tucked away. WHen I'm lazy, I usually make a private deal with a housekeeper - it might take a little longer, but they're usually delighted to have the extra money.

elwoody,

you are right. The average rate is 500baht for 100 pieces and even better deals can be made. If you wash your socks and underwear yourself - don't like to have them washed by others anyway - a 100 pieces go a long way.

5 baht per piece (jeans, shirt, sheets or whatever) incl. ironing sounds like a fair deal to me.

Ninety-five % of it is on Soi Green Mango, which is a 'U' shaped street at the north end of Chaweng beach road (the all-night Pool Bar was good for late nite FLs last Jan). There are a couple of places south of this on the same beach road (names escape me, but if you RTFF you will find them), and a few beer bars down at Lamai (again detailed already here).

If you find any more places (including laundry shops) when you are there, feel free to post: You will be adding new info.

Ken,

Maybe if you read this entire section not just this page you will find what you are looking for. Also, when you get to Samui please report back in detail your findings including laundry deals for Terry and others...

As far as meeting Euro girls in Samui this is a good place for that. Nevermind you are going to Asia to meet Euro girls. Actually, Samui has a decent number of Euro girls, mostly fat... A better place to meet lots of Euro girls would be Europe. Check that out.

Happy hunting.

As usual Juicy Juice, you ommit lots of valuable info, when answering intelligent questions, on topics which have never been dicussed. You need to be more specific in your answers. :) Shame on you.

Ken, the best place to meet a Euro girl, would be France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, all the Eastern Europe countries ending in "ia", Ireland, Holland.

That should be a good start, though there are others I didn't mention.

I'm sorry, I don't know the best places, nor the prices, for laundry in the above countries, even though I am focusing really hard.

1ball,

You forget the country that everyone always forgets: Finland. Finland is the place to go if you want to meet Europeans from that particular country, so to speak.
When them gals up there find out you are a foreigner, you better start runnin'!
Why all the Finnish guys head for Estonia is beyond me. Been there, seen it, won't go back. Never mind Tallinn had the worlds tallest building until 1470, when someone somewhere built a bigger one...

My apologies Freeler, though your critique was only partial. I also forgot the UK, Scotland, Hungary, Monaco, and the Czech Republic, ( though that could also fall within countries ending with "ia". )

and guess where the best place to meet Danish girls is?

Yes, it's Daneland.

Ken,

some guys do travel with less luggage and if you aren't one of those who wear a shirt for 3 days :(, laundry might be an interesting topic. Not to forget those who intend to stay there for an extended period of time.

Some money could be saved which could then be spend for another ride - or for Freeler 3 rides - on the next P4P girl.

The fact that you don't care doesn't mean that nobody cares. What about prices for hotels, transportation and so on ? It's not directly related to mongering but still an interesting info, don't you think so ?

If you want to know more about the almost non-existing sex scene on Koh Samui you might want to read more than just the first page of that section.

Full moon party ban opposed

Surat Thani: -- Tourism business operators and residents on Surat Thani's Koh Phangan are opposing Interior Minister ACM Kongsak Wantana's plan to ban the island's infamous full moon party.

They are demanding a public hearing if the minister is determined to push ahead with the ban.

Koh Phangan Tourism Promotion Association chairman Chanchote Piriyasathit said the minister's idea to promote eco-tourism on Koh Phangan and discontinue the full moon party was ill-advised. Business operators and residents have hosted the party for more than 20 years and it has become known worldwide, he said, adding a ban would negatively affect tourism.

Mr Chanchote said the party did not hurt the environment and attracted many foreign tourists.

Provincial councillor Piphit Rattanarak, agreed, saying if the minister wanted to ban it, a public hearing must be held to gauge views from residents who initiated the party.

``The full moon party doesn't just benefit certain people; it brings revenue to the province and the whole country,'' he said.

``It's not right to cite illicit drugs, town planning and environmental problems as reasons to discontinue the party. Locals are more environmentally minded than some ministers. If there really was anything bad about it, locals would not have let the party go on for so long,'' said Mr Piphit.

Roccos,
you can try the first street next to the Green Mango street, in the opposite direction of Lamai. I remeber that in the corner there is the "ladyboy" cabaret (Christie's???). At the end of this street there is the Coconut Guesthouse (i'm sure 90% about the name). Very good quality and spacious room. It's a recent guesthouse. I paid in low season (last year in this month) about 700-800 bath. It's like a flat system, you have the key and you can do what you want. You can try a party!!!! Room with air condition, 3-4 bed, european bathroom, cable tv...just a little noise for the Green Mango until 2 pm.

thankshigh,

if you want to go to phan the next day you can consider a guesthose/hotel in bophut beach. it´s close to the airport and speed boats to phan go directly from the beach. i stayed at smile house last feb. for 1.000 (or 1.200?) baht - maybe discount because it was my third stay and i negotiated a bit. absolutely girl friendy (heard about the joiner fee just in this forum. never experienced). because of the families and couples probably no place for orgies - but you want to stay just one night, with bahtbus or motorcycle it´s about 20 min to chaweng´s rasta pub or green mangoo.

ask me for details if you want.

As far as I have experienced in Buddha (definetly in Bophut) are no bars of that kind. but Chaweng isn´t that far (for a LT). in buddha there are some nice bars with open air live music daytime at the weekends. Nice for chlilling - bus also no action.

Have fun anyway

You might get lucky in some location other than Chaweng or Lamai, but I wouldn't count on it. When I was in Samui, I stayed at a place in Maenam, and there was a bar about 3 blocks down the street where there were a couple of working girls (literally 2 of them in the entire bar), but, unfortunately, someone else got the only decent looking one before I got there, and I wasn't at all interested in her wing-girl. All the action I had in Samui involved either short-time in a massage place in Chaweng, or LT from a lady brought back from Chaweng to my place in Maenam. Frankly, I would not go back to Samui if I weren't staying some place in Chaweng.

Just a little Warning to all of you who is going to Samui and want to bring a girl with you home to your hotel. I stayed at 'Baan Samui Resort' and this is not a girl freindly place at all - they told me that it would cost 3000 baht!!(just about the same as the room itself!) to take an extra guest home at night even though i booked a double room.

So if you wanna bring girls dont stay there, otherwise a nice enough place with a nice poolarea.

High,

In the phuket thread (wich I read quite intensively because I´m going to stay there in a couple of weeks) there is a longer discussion about (not) girl friendly hotels including a link list with hotels that don´t charge a "joiner fee". Perhaps a good idea to invoke something similar here. You could start with spades warning regarding the "Baan Samui" as first entry in the no-go list: -)

The smile house in bophut never charged me. Frankly, I never registered secutity in the night. But I can´t confirm that they never do so. As I wrote, there are also families and couples so the management may be interested to "keep their atmosphere".

I agree with Member 2041´s view on Koh Samui. If you are focused on action and do not have problems staying your vacation in a loud'n'dirty town, you should go to Chaweng - but you may go to Pattaya directly. But if you want to make some "normal" vacation (swimming, resding, diving, tours, sports, .) in the daytime you can find many nice places which enable you to hop to chaweng, pick up a TG and bring her back to the bath-bus the next morning.

Regarding girl friendy hotels. You can simply ask them by e-mail in advance.

FYI, the Amarin Victoria in Maenam charged a 500 baht joiner fee despite the fact that I had booked a double. Otherwise, it was a quite nice hotel for the money (brand new, with nice post-modern facilities and good quality food) in a rather undesireable location for mongers - as Maenam is pretty far from any of the action in Samui.

I came to bophut first time wirh my uncle (no joke) a couple of years ago. and i don´t want to make advertising for that village...but for my personal taste chaweng is just to loud and hectic for vacation in the daytime. but that may be just my taste.

Post Modern means so trendy it hurts. Such as whenever the decision comes down to being chic and stylish, or functional, they always choose chic. For example, the bar stools are so streamlined that they look like works of art. But they are pretty uncomfortable for placing your bum near the bar

What decent (but not overpriced. Ok, downright economical) hotel is there in Patong Beach that has either DSL/Broadband connection in some of it's rooms, or access to decent Wifi connections.

Its amazing why many of them don't list it on any of their websites.

Please advise. I am headed there mid-Nov. (darn soon!)

the following are excerpts from an article appearing recently in british news:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"lorna martin uncovers the harsh truth behind the postcard images"

tuesday january 17, 2006

observer

"in the glut of neon-lit 'lady bars', drunken, lonely western men were propped up by groups of beautiful thai women, giggling and whispering and wondering whether tonight was going to be the night that they would get lucky and hit on a man with a bulging wallet and an urge to get married. were they shocked by the news, two weeks ago now with the men already caught, of the [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) and murder of the welsh student katherine horton? yes, it seems. but they may well be the only ones."
............................................

"on wednesday two illiterate and impoverished fishermen, who have pleaded guilty to [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) and murder, will be sentenced for the crime. bualoi posit, 23, and wichai somkhaoyai, 24, could face execution."
.......................................

''i am very angry about what happened,' said piya chanthong, a well-known local businessman who owns a complex of beachside apartments near where katherine had been staying and is campaigning for more control over development and extra police officers for the area.''
...........................................

"it is not easy to find a bar in lamai which is not a front for prostitution and many thais say the scene is now far worse than the once notorious patpong district of bangkok."
...................................................

"the bars are littered with beautiful, svelte erotically confident women. the wobbly, pale, plump tourists, with their money and their leisure wear, holiday socks and sandals look like another species."
...............................................

"there is no doubt that it is now commercial tourism, sex tourism, which draws most tourists to koh samui and brings in the big bucks."
.....................................................

"although official figures are not kept, it is estimated that there are around 10,000 prostitutes in samui alone. thai officials have an uncomfortable relationship with this side of their country. at least 10 per cent of the total tourist spending is on the sex trade which, although illegal, is tacitly tolerated by the government because of the enormous sums earned from it."
....................................................

"katherine was the seventh british tourist to have been killed in thailand in the past 16 months..."
......................................................

"one english woman who asked for her name not to be published said police were dismissive when she asked for help in dealing with a violent ex-boyfriend. 'they asked if the man, who was a thai, was my boyfriend and when i told him he was my ex they said they couldn't do anything,' she said. 'if there is a violent fight in the street between a man and a woman no one will bat an eyelid."
....................................................
one thai person says:

'it's terribly sad what happened to katherine. every thai person is deeply saddened by it and hate the men who did that to her. but i also think it is important that as more and more tourists come here, they respect our different culture. i'm not talking about katherine here but there are many european women who ignore our culture and, for example, run around topless on the beach. i know many thai men who boast about the number of farangs [foreigners] that they have slept with."
.................................................

"shinawatra admitted that it would normally take two to three months to prepare the prosecution case then a further few months before the case came to trial. instead, the entire process, from arrest to conviction, will have been completed in little more than a week."
.....................................................

"there have also been some worrying questions raised about the quality of the forensic evidence. not long after katherine's body was found, local television reports showed scores of ordinary thai police officers walking around her. it is also not uncommon for forensic reports in thailand to be wildly inaccurate."
....................................................

"katherine horton did nothing wrong. as her father said, she felt im***e to the dangers of the world, as we have all felt when we were young adults. katherine horton came to thailand to dance on a beach, to ride an elephant. tragically her faith in her fellow man let her down."
.......................................................

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
above the official comments. now the real story:

"white prostitute kills two innocent thai fishermen"

the white woman (mentioned above) went to call mama at night on the cellphone. felt like a swim. strong current carried her away. they found her the next day. lesson: it was an accident. don't swim at night! end of story.

do not let to smear it on a man again. on whose side do we stand? if you don't stand up for the guys today, you will be put away tomorrow.

why did we have to mix the thai fishermen in here at all? why do we have to cry 'bloody murder' at men every time something happens to a woman? they be more careful and more respectful to men and nothing will happen. certainly, displaying naked mammaries in broad daylight in a public place (samui) in front of men and children is not respectful behaviour. neither are a million other things currently habitual to british (and all western) females. "but never mind, men will never hit back! and the police will protect us anyway!" well, they didn't. however, increasing the police numbers is not the answer, but showing more respect is.

i feel there is a lot of resentment among thai people about this story. after all, 2 thai nationals have been put away because of the long term irresponsible and arrogant behaviour of many foreigners. they feel this, yet cannot say it because of money-matters holding back their honesty. so, they smile, as usual. yet, they feel inside that they have been offended by foreigners, again.

and as for us, foreign sex-tourists? of course we wouldn't do it because it is illegal, but hands up, how many wouldn't line up to get a good seat to watch the [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) of a british backpacker. of course, we would trample each other for the 'opera-seats'. would be the show of the century. the only regret is that this is the only such story in so long time.

did you notice the degrading words the british journalist woman used for the sex-tourists of samui? and the bar-girls are 'beautiful!', oh, sure...!!! he,he.. good joke.

the question is that how does a woman even dare to use such degrading words against men? this is british women baby! so, watch the future of sex-tourism on samui or anywhere for that matter. how long will men keep supporting feminism? until we all will be slaves?

also, it is clear that money is the key word. many samui businesses are in debt, they need to pay off banks. so, if it takes the sacrificial killing of two poor (black!) guys to get back (female) customers and make profits then so good, nevermind. if that white woman was killed for lust then these two simple fishermen are killed for money. so, which one is worse? to kill for (provoked) lust or to kill for money?

yes, those guys have been provoked for so long. being slapped on the face day by day by the foreign prostitutes. (because it is clear case that any british woman by the age of 20 is in fact a fully trained prostitute. and it is officially sanctioned too.) however being poor and black, what could they do? wank all day? they were hungry and they stole. that's all.

of course as always recently, the feminist run media was just too quick to blow up the news and use it for propaganda. divide the men and win another battle against them, us.

just consider it: even the prime minister can afford to have his wick polished every day. and so can we, foreign men. but these guys cannot because all they earn is less than $100 a month. now let's kill them by lethal injection too? (as the present decision is.)

so, please help them and show your support and your opinion that they didn't do anything wrong. if you are british national it's even better. please send them some cigarettes and other gifts in jail. how about we start a collection for their proper defence, which they surely cannot afford. do not let the women win again. if we do not hold together now then we are gone like dinosaurs.

What a difference a couple of years can make. Koh Samui now officially sucks; my third trip and the changes are dramatic. I was lost trying to find my way around the island on a Scooter as there are so many new buildings obscuring the landmarks.

The tropical paradise now serves 2 – 3 times more Thai and Westerners people than 2 years ago and now it is no different from any other beach other than Westerners can be seen to be more offensive, I mean really is it so hard to keep your top on when it actually offends the Thais. Do we need cancerous nipples, ouch?

And the Thai smiling faces? Gone, gone, gone!!!! But there are more T-shirt places and gift shops and everything at every turn. Worse there is a lot of pollution on the island in the air no less which is even sadder. How does an island have Smog? Travel to a local enclave and breathe in the local garbage, it never ceases to amaze me how third world nations can pollute in their own backyards, literally.

Lots of bars, lots of girls so mongerers are welcome but beware there are a great deal of condescending looks from the western white women that we all love to leave for good reason (I brought my wife now I get to hear about all of those old men with younger women for the rest of my life) (worse yet she knows I was one of those guys many many times, joke her if she can’t take a fuck), why can we all just fuck more and judge less the world would be a much happy place. For pure pooning me thinks elsewhere is better so one can poon without spite of course some of you happier souls could give a fuck and good on you.

On the positive the nicest place we were was the massage place at the Koh airport, nice ladies, finally found some Thai hospitality and a great foot massage, sad we were leaving.

For those seeking “their old Samui” she gone and that is sad.

Just got back from LOS and spent 8 nights in Lamai. I have been there twice before so I know the score.
Still around 60 Beer Bars, most churning out Techno and having a volume war with the bar next door.
Quality of the girls is average, you just have to be patient in your hunting.
Several MPs offer HJs, not sure about FS.
Accomodation in Lamai, Marina resort is OK, GF, 1250 baht, new bungalows with A/C,quiet, Fan, Big Beds, fridge, TV, hot water etc
TGs seem happy with 1000LT and bar is usually 200.
The island is very busy and last week all flights were fully booked to BKK on a couple of days.
Never bothered going to Chaweng, taxi mafia on samui.

This is about sex! lets keep it that way. If you want to know about laundry or something go somewhere else. Enough said!

I was in Samui for the first time and stoped at an internet cafe to find information and it didnt take me 10 minutes and I was in luck.

I was able to find a BBBJ in Chaweng and I am sure she would also do anything you wanted. I was just in the mood for a BJ. As you look at the Starbucks there is a street on the left. down there there are several Massage joints. I sat at the Butterfly and had a beer and was approach by a nice young girl and asked for Special Massage and paid 1000 bht.

There also seems to be many freelancers around Soi Green Mango late in the eve. you shouldnt have any trouble getting laid there. It isnt pattya though.

Hi all I will be in Samui for 10 days from the 7th May. I am a keen customer of Bangkok's wonderful BJ bars and am looking exclusively for top quality BBBJs, ideally WS when there. I can't find any BJ bars on this forum - are there any? If not can anyone recommend somewhere for BJs only? As we know a high propertion of working girls are not 100% into this service and I just want to avoid the disappointment and hassle. Many thanks fellow mongers.

Lamai Beach is a quiet place if you stay in bungalows not in the town proper
I used to frequent White Sands bungalowa lot.It has waters quite steep and
is cheap even by Malaysian standards.Owner Nui is quite friendly. If you go
there say hi from Penang .She will know.Perhaps you will get 5 nights for 4
nights payment.
I will be going there tomorrow but will probably be staying at Chaweng beach
since I like to be with crowds.Menam Beach is another good option if you want
to be near the main town Nathon.

Hi,

I'm thinking to travel this year between Samui and Cambodia.

After reading this forum I am a little bit lost trying find information about an hotel in Lamai Beach. I read Samui is less crowded and noisy that Chaweng but you can find night action.

Somebody can provide information about the best place (hotel) to stay? Of course GF hotel, not far to action. My budget is 25 - 35 $ /night.

I found in this forum White Sands and Marina Resort hotel but I can't find them in any internet online booking that I use to book room.

Also, September is rainy season in Samui ?

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Mastorr,

On that low budget it will hard to find a "good" one but there are out there. I think Lamai is cheaper than Chaweng. Do a Goggle search and type "cheap Samui hotels" and you will see a series of search options. During low season (now) you can negotiate prices too. Good luck.

Thanks Juice,

I can re-consider my budget but I read too in Samui there are family hotels and aren't not GF. My question is the same before, to know GF hotels and we will see prices and location.

I use to know hotels in Pattaya and BKK but I'm newbie in KS.

Yo Mastorr,

Juice is right; on that budget you're not going to be in a deluxe resort type place. From my experience in Lamai that's not necessarily a bad thing.
There are lots of bungalow hotels on Lamai that vary in quality from totally spartan to very nice.
I've stayed at Lamai Coconut Resort: 124/4 Moo 3, T232169, a bunch of times and recommend it. The beachfront a/c bungalows are really nice, the location is good, nice staff, and the restaurant is good. Last time I stayed there the beachfront bungalows were 1200bht, but that was in high season so there'll be a discount.
Bungalow type resorts are pretty much GF by definition.

Cheers,
Sean

Got here today after a 7AM flight with the girlie... Very early flight especially after satying up until 4AM. When we got here we took a long nap after breakfast then fuck like monkeys then went for a walk on the beach followed by fucking more like monkeys followed by shower and now doing a little work.

My loptop works well at Stardolllars...Very fast connection... :)

Samui still nice but losing the charm it used to have.

Hey juicey!

Please advise on which airline and airfare paid. I'd like to go there some day. Jeesh! 2.5 years in Thailand and I've still never been to Samui. :)

Glad you made it OK and give an SMS when back in the city.

The link for the airline is: www.bangkokair.com

Flights from Bangkok around various parts of Thailand seem very reasonable, especially if you book in advance via the web and travel at slightly more 'odd' times.

One question I'd like to add, if anyone can answer, is how difficult would the journeys be to the other islands in the group from Samui? I'm thinking of Koh Tao because the overland journey from Bangkok I found exausting. Thanks if anyone can help.

Poster,

Only www.bangkokair.com flies to Samui and they even own the airport too. :D No competition so the flights are not cheap even though the flight can be only a 45 minute... It could cost you around 7,400bt round trip.

Having a relax time hanging on the beach, swimming, sleeping, eating and of course fucking like a monkey.

I will contact you when I get back.

I think it is a big monopoly for bangkok air to charge so much because they
can they own the airport and no other air can land there , options is fly with
thai airway to suri thani and take the fast boat to koh samui take about 4hr
total or bus from bangkok to suri thani and fast boat 14 hr total if you have
the time .

I'm not sure 4,000 baht for the round trip is so bad. I've tried the overland journey twice and it was worst than terrible. The lack of low cost airlines in Thailand is obviously an issue but the alternative of 14 hours overland is not one I'm prepared to tolerate anymore. I thought it was an absolute nightmare.

Fast Eddie, what was the price for the suri thani? That might to a good idea.

Although some of the charm is gone from this island it grows on you the daily slow pace... There is so much to do here without doing much. The girl scene is mediocre but decent if you must have some. There are a few goodlookers here and there and my best are the girls on motorbike flirting... :)

Gogo Drama

I'm being a good boy since I brought the girlie with me. Last night we went to gogo bar. She stared at the girls dance a declare none were sexy except for 2 of out of 45 girls. She asked me which she thought were sexy. I nailed both of them and she was happy to know we had the same taste. So, I got a little excited at the prospect of having 2 girls in my room. Wrong. That was a clever set up to see how I would react and to find out if I was a butterfly. She suggested I buy a lady drink to one of the girls and I did. Then when I was touching the girl I was told that if I took her home (room) I would never see her again. What a nice set up to get me worked up. Testing my good boy character... Of course I played it cool and pretended not to be too disappointed. Smart woman. Stupid Farang. :D

With any other girl I would have demanded it but I'm dating girlie so can't.

Its rather expensive to fly to Samui, but if you book on the website bangkokair.com, and you dont mind getting up early the first flight of the day both ways can be booked for about 2000 bath plus taxes.

So you are laying down on the beach and here comes the guy selling something and when you say "no thanks" they try to start a conversation which usually leads to selling you drugs.

I have been offered all types and quantities. I really don't look like a drug addict and it makes me wonder if these guys are for real or could they be a set up operation to catch farangs. I don't think it is and undercover thing but I would not advice any one to buy off the beach unless you get to know the seller and even then... I don't do drugs.

Sometimes when you walk on the beach you smell weed and it usually comes from a group of Thai guys renting jet skies. Those guys are so tanned from being on the sun 7 days a week that probably need to smoke something...

I have not seen any Thai police on Samui yet. I have also noticed that Thais are getting better at driving here or maybe I'm just getting use to it. Traffic can be a mess at night and so far I have seen only one motorbike accident with 2 Thai girls who hit the back of a truck. No one got hurt. Seriously.

A good place to have a drink on the beach is the Ark Bar with good sitting and atmosphere. You pay for drinks as you order them so there is no confusion with the bill. I like this system. I also saw this happen on a gogo bar here and one in BKK. Is it the norm everywhere now?

The bar scene here is OK and there are a few discos/clubs with freelancers. Some are nice looking. Also many beer bars (not as many as Pattaya) with some nice looking girls too. I asked in one beer bar how much was the bar fine and was told it was 200bt. Cheap.

Early flights to Samui (6AM) are cheaper and you can save a bit. Also flying out of Samui at 10 PM is cheaper. Other options are the bus and train but they take all night to get here.

Samui may not be for everyone but if you are looking to just relax and maybe have some girls here and there it would work. The whole point of coming here is to chill and not do much.

So far little rain in here and its rainy season.

I have not seen any Thai police on Samui yet.

Thai police is around, and the drug trade is very well monitored. They allow a little local business to go undisturbed, but if and when anything bigger happens, they will jump on it. "Little" Thais are most likely to get hit (I have heard of quite a few), and the sentence can be rather harsh on them. Reasonable Farang tourist drug habits are tolerated, and Farang residents, especially those with a business there, can get their way too with no hassle at all. They know how much they can afford to do in that area. It might just cost them a little occasional bribe money to their friendly Police force.

Thailand is friendly and easygoing, but everything is always in place for a crackdown at anytime.

I have also noticed that Thais are getting better at driving here or maybe I'm just getting use to it. Traffic can be a mess at night and so far I have seen only one motorbike accident with 2 Thai girls who hit the back of a truck. No one got hurt.

Odds are that you are getting used to it, which is the most dangerous point. Local Thais and Farangs alike in Samui are driving like lunatic pigs. And the roads are not safe either as they are not so well maintained, especially the secondary network. There are several hundreds accidents, many with very serious injuries, every year, and the trend is increasing. Just ask informed residents. The permanent population of the island has increased manifolds in the last 5 years, with the obvious consequence on the traffic. Vacationing Farangs do not go out much, and most do not drive. But residents do, if only to resupply at Tesco. And there is the traffic generated by the massive real estate boom, with big trucks everywhere.

Samui may not be for everyone but if you are looking to just relax and maybe have some girls here and there it would work. The whole point of coming here is to chill and not do much.

The best thing to do is to bring a nice TG from BKK with you. It is a gamble if you do not know her well enough, as there is a big difference between having a great LT encounter with a TG, even repeated a few nights in a row, and spending a week or two of quasi-marital intimacy with her. And there is the cost of flying her over with you. But on the whole, it is a great vacation in which you bring your pillow with you.

Seydlitz,

I don't know what you expect from the way people drive here which I don't have major problems with. It is lunacy if you don't understand how things work which is basically controlled chaos. Samui's main road is very small and it has outgrown the number of cars/motor-bikes. I enjoy the thrill of driving here...

I finally saw cops on the island.

After landing on the island of Ko Samui we were welcomed by a real heavy rain. The airport buildings of Ko Samui look like Bamboo huts on the beach. But fortunately the roofs were waterproofed. After picking up our luggage we bought tickets 200 Baht each person for a minibus, who brought us to the region of the Lamai Beach. Every region has their own bus, so it took only about 20 minutes and then we were in our hotel. During the transport I had a high respect for the bus driver, because the streets were here and there totally a washed and I couldn’t see any street.

I had booked already from Germany a little bungalow on the hotel area for my Thai lady, her 4 year old daughter and me. Too early, as I found out. Because I did it already at the end of month April. And at the beginning of Month May they offered: Stay 4 nights, pay 2 nights, stay 8 nights, pay 4 nights. But doesn’t matter. Was my fault. Next time I will do it short time before going to Samui, at the same time when I will book the flight again.

The hotel was great. Good service at all. The restaurant prepared good Thai food too. Nevertheless we went every evening with our little lady to a restaurant with the name “ Sala Thai “. They cooked excellent Thai and also farang food.

The whole ambience of this little hotel was nice, as you can see on the photos. The bungalows, the pools, the plants. All made in Thai style. The accouterment of the bungalow was comfortable, including the electronic safe in the room.

The bar scene at that time was really down, because there were not too many male single tourists. Mostly couples and couples with children. If I would get the permission from my Thai lady to go alone for one week to Samui, I would do that in the low season. Well, it must be allowed to have a dream. :--)))))).

Over the days we rent two scooter for about 150 Baht each a day. Easy riding with those things. And because the island isn’t too large, you can visit every interesting point in some days. The good hotels have usually a lot of costless material like maps for the tourists.

Finally I can say that Ko Samui is worth to be visited. You can relax as well as stroll through the scene, if you want. Everything is available. Same like Bangkok or Pattaya, only a little bit easier going and without any hectic rush.

Gentlemen, enjoy your life. You only have this one.

Hi Erik,
do not worry, it is really only a few hours a day.
And changing against Phuket: there it is quite different.
If you want nice beach, relaxed places, not pushy girls: go to Samui,
If you want more noise, more push, but better choice for mongering: go Phuket.
Depending on how often you want to change the girl Samui can be troube as everybody knows you after a few days. But if you are not shy about it nobody cares as well.
Good fun,

I also love Ko Samui! I will be in Thailand in late October thru late November. I had written to the forum of the Lonely Planet website a couple of years ago about Ko Samui's weather in November and was told by several people, including one who lived there, that it is always cloudy in Ko Samui in November. So I was hoping to sneak in a few days in Ko Samui in late October, when I arrive in Thailand. Maybe the sun will be out then, if I am very lucky. I do not want to go to a beach island if it is not going to be warm and sunny. Even if it doesn't rain, I wouldn't want to be there if it is cloudy all the time. Any advice for me on the weather there in late October or in November?

I have just been in Koh Samui. I did not expect so many bars with so many hot girls all over the place. Chaweng, Lamai, and else where. This island beats Chiang Mai and is going the way of Pattaya. I am really very surprised to see so little posts dedicated to the scene out there. Unfortunately I am not able to commentm, as I was not alone and could not partake...

All about getting to Ko-samui and Ko-Pagan
-for WSGforum members only-

(Copyright by World Sex-Tourist Headquarters WSTHQ)

Introduction:
Welcome to extremely well touristed and overrun Kosamui (especially Chaveng). And to still pleasant and natural looking Ko Pagan with beautiful biches. Located in South Thailand, 600 kms from Bangkok, Samui is saturated with beer-bars and discos. There is nothing to recommend on it, apart from the meat-market. Same as Pattaya. But in terms of relaxation it has become a total wasteland in recent years. Possibly Lamai beach is a much better alternative to Chaweng, although it is far too busy nowadays. However the quality of meat has improved considerably in recent years, we have to admit that much.

Nathon, the arrival point of most ferries on Samui has some traditional thai low-key cheap brothels, 500B/pop. Marked on the Samui/Nathon map ( http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=525562&postcount=746 ).

Ko Pagan still has unspoilt biches and good swimming in uncrowded surroundings (apart from Had Rin, which is dirt, but good to observe backpacker meat). Near the main town of Tong Sala is a cluster of Pattaya style beer-bars, again marked on map (see South Thai report, other areas section). These are very pleasant and relaxing entertainment when compared to Samui.

Getting there:
1. Air
1.1 Bangkok Airways owns Samui's private airport. 30 flights daily including international connections but also from Bkk, Puket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai.

1.2 Thai Airways has 3 flights daily to nearby Surattani on mainland. From threre continue by bus and ferry as detaild below.

1.3 Ko Pagan has no airpot at present. All trafic is thru sea.

2. Train
2.1 Bangkok Railway Station (Hualampong) has approx 12 trains daily to Surattani. Several evening departures feature sleeping carriages. See report about South Thai Transport in "other areas" section ( http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=527042&postcount=751 ) . Hualampong can be most easily reached by the Bangkok Subway.

2.2 It is possible to exit the train in Chumpon (460 km S from Bkk, 2 hrs before Surattani) and continue from there by boat to either Samui or Pagan. (See 4.2 below). Also see South Thai report and map.

3. Bus
3.1 Bangkok's Southern Bus Station (Sai tai Mai) is in West-Bangkok, not far from Baglampoo (Khaosan) and the Pra Pinklao Brij. Can be most easily reached by the 511 aircon bus from Sukhumvit and Baglampoo. A taxi from Baglampoo costs 60 B, from Sukumvit 200 B. There are frequent departures to Surattani and Koh Samui. The VIP 24 seat sleeper bus leaves Bangkok around 7pm and arrives Samui 7am the next day. Several private tour companies also run overnight services and they can be booked through travel agents or hotels.

3.2 Phuket, Krapi and other tourist centres also have direct buses to Samui and Pangan.

3.3 The bus trip can also be done in segments or even combined with train as detailed in the South Thai report.

4. Boat
4.1 From Surattani (see 1.2, 2.1, 3.1) there are 4 companies running ferries to Samui and Pagan. There are also inter-island connections, some of which do not include the mainland.

4.1.1 Night boats leave central Surattani (Bandon) at 11pm and arrive in the morning in Samui and Pagan. There is also a boat to Ko Tao. Narrow mattresses are provided on the floor for sleeping in a communal area.

4.1.2 The Long Sperm Company (some also call it Songsern) runs two daily boats, departing Surattani 8am and 2pm. This is the boat to take if you like to observe backpackers suntanning semi-naked on the deck. Hardly any Thai passengers on this service. They leave from Pak Nam just outside town. This is only a passenger ferry, although they fit in the odd motorbike. Your ticket will include bus transport to the dock. Can be booked thru travel agencies or they have an office in the Thai Rungruang Hotel, Surattani.

4.1.3 Seatran Ferry runs hourly services from Surattani to both islands. This is a mixed car/passenger ferry. Office is near town, on Kanchanawithee Road, on the way to the harbour. A songtao will take you there for 10B or tuk-tuk 30B. Otherwise 20 min walk.

4.1.4 Raya Ferry is a very similar car/passenger service to above. Their agent is Samui Tour on Talad Mai road, central Surattani. The Surattani railway (big red) bus stops by their office on request.

4.1.5 There are innumerable other agents in Surattani selling tickets for these services. Costs are very near same wherever you buy the ticket. Total trip including transfer to harbour will take no less than 3 hours to reach Samui and 31/2-4hrs to Pagan. Cost to Samui around 200 B and Pagan 300 B.

4.2 From Chumpon (see 2.2 and South Thai report) the Lomprayah Katamaran runs two daily services, departing 7am and 11am. The boats stop first on Ko Tao, then Pagan and finally Samui. Fares: Tao-550B/90 mins, Pagan-750B/3hrs, Samui-850B/3 1/2 hrs.

This boat can also be booked with Lompraya's own bus connections from Bangkok thru travel agents. Departing Kaosan 9pm and Hua Hin at midnight.

4.3 Inter-island services: Had Rin Queen Ferry runs between Samui and Had Rin beach on Ko Pagan (backpacker central headquarters). Phangan Cruise runs between Samui and Tong Sala, Pagan's main town (there are beer bars here). Otherwise, Raja Ferry and Seatran also do runs between the islands so there are very frequent connections.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting around the islands:
Samui is circled by a ring road. There are frequent songtao departures (see "songtao"in South Thai Travel section) throughout the day and night up to around 9pm. After then it's only expensive charter. There are also motorbike taxis, metered taxis and motorbike rental everywhere on the island. Standard fares (year 2006) Nathon-Chaweng, Lamai 50B, Chaweng-Lamai 50B. Chaweng-Big Buddha 100B.

Ko Pagan has good sealed road only between Tong Sala (port) and Had Rin (backpacker bich). Frequent songtao departures between 6am-9pm, 50 B/person. Same 50 B price for anywhere along this road. To other areas like N, NE, NW there are bad, unsealed roads and only one or two services a day. Fare to any other direction than Had Rin is 100B (eg Chaloklam, TNP, Had Salad). To charter a songtao will cost 5-700 baht. If you are returning from a remote resort they will usually drop you off at the ferry for the standard fare of 100 B.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accomodation:
Samui is steadily moving towards total airconditioning and package-tour prices, most comfortable rooms 800B and up. Still quite a few comfortable fan bungalows in Lamai and other less popular areas for 4-600 B.

Ko Pagan is mainly basic fan cooled bungalows everywhere, even in Had Rin. Prices are reasonable, 200, 300, 400 B. There are some more expensive aircon rooms as well. It's still a good value destination, except in central Had Rin.

The construction boom is evident on both islands, new characterless rows of brick bungalows, devoid of any personal space are growing like mushrooms. The construction noise spoiling much of the tranquility in most beaches (yes, even on the remote ones).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meat: see introductory section + South Thai report

I can't believe that there hasn't been more info about Samui on this forum. I'm staying in Lamai right now, and I have to say, the action here is at least the equal of Patong Beach on Phuket, and, IMHO, the rest of the island's charms are vastly superior to Phuket.

I'm staying at Lamai Wanta Resort, which is certainly one of the nicest places in Lamai, and quite reasonable starting at 1000 baht/night, for a place on the beach, with nice rooms (with AC, Satellite TV, in-room safe), a nice pool, and an outstanding restaurant. It's totally Girl Friendly, which, given it's location, is certainly beneficial. Within 3 blocks walk, there must be something like 25-30 different girl bars, most of which have, in early December, 3 times as many potential companions as male customers. Rates tend to be 300 bar fine, plus 500-700 ST, or 1000-1500 LT. So far, in my couple of nights here, I've picked out a couple of tiny, incredibly cute things, neither of whom could have weighed more than 48 kilos. There are certainly more than a few stunners around as well.

I should also add, if you stay in Samui, make certain that you stay in Chaweng or Lamai. Last time I was here, I was stuck in Maenam, because the island was mobbed during the Chinese New Year just after the Tsunami wiped out Phuket, and I was ready to write the place off. There's no action in Maenam, and little to none in Bophut - but Chaweng has plenty (although, IMHO, the hotels in Chaweng are over-priced) and Lamai is swarming with both great mongering, and nice bargain beachfront places to stay.

Thanks for the Lamai info, I have been there about 4 times now and have never felt the need to use the Samui taxi mafia to go to Chaweng. Lamai is a good little place although it is hard to escape the mass techno music.

I have never been to Patong and I would be interested if you can compare the two regarding hotels, GF, Bar fines, LT fees etc

I may even check out Krabi if anyone has comparisons etc.

It is best not to head to the South until December time because of tropical storms etc.

IMHO, Price and quality of the ladies is similar between Lamai and Patong. There may be more of them in Patong, but there are also more punters competing over them. I felt that the Lamai Wanta hotel was the equal of anything in Patong that's double the price (and it's not easy to find a high quality, GF hotel right on Patong Beach - most of the better places charge joiners on Phuket).

My take is that the mongering scene is comparable between Patong and Lamai, but I would far rather be on Samui than Phuket for other vacation considerations.

Guys - Samui is no longer a realxing unspoilt Tropical Island. It is becoming another Phuket or Pattaya. It was loaded with bars and bar girls in mid-October, low season!

The prices were damn low as well. I took 3 LT girls and the most I paid was 1200 baht. DO NOT OVERPAY! Chawang was too busy/overcrowded for me, but Lamai was cool. Laid back with plenty of action of any sort. I was very happy and would say that of the mongering activities in the last 7 months that Samui was tops (BKK, Pattya, Phuket and Samui). I am sure that now in the high season things are a bit more crazy, but I will go back to Samui. Its more tropical than Pattaya and not quite so over-run with damn sex tourist ;) !

Does anyone know a good way to travel from Pattaya to Samui? Is it best to go back to BKK first? I'd rather there be a bus/ferry or something similar. A flight would be great also.

I think there are regular flights by Bangkok Air and there used to be boats to
Samui too.Going by bus is fab and cheap and delicious food all along the way
not forgetting the nice local girls you can chat up (if you look young)
Star Cruises has regular trips to Samui.Big ship with 6 meals a day.

Try White Sanda bungalow.I stayed there many times and its very cheap.
Say somebody from Penang who always go there some years ago and Nui
could give you a special discount.
The open air showers in the past for mixed bathing were just great.I think
presently none exist in Samui.
Good hunting!

Guys,

I'm staying on Samrong beach over New Years. Anyone have the number of a private driver they like. The idea is drive me to Chawang or Lamai, wait, then drive me back. Or does anyone have a handle on the rates for a car, not motorbike or tuk-tuk?

A flight would be great also.Just booked flights, for early Feb from U Tapao, near Pattaya to Samui, Cost around 7500baht return, single fare quoted at 3000, but doesn't include taxes etc. Bangkok airways is the only operator on this route at present with two flights per day. Website excellent, very easy to use.

If you could fly from Bangkok, there are fare specials at 2000b at certain times of the day. There'll be other carriers too.

Good luck!

Good info, Phil, but there won't be other carriers: You're stuck with Bangkok Airways because they own the airport on Samui Island and don't let any other airlines in.

It's totally Girl FriendlyI agree 100%. We walked for hours and looked many hotels: The Lamai Wanta is the best quality you can get. Rooms like there cost the double in other hotels.

In Chaweng I recommend the Chaweng gardens beach hotel. Right in the center, good quality, absolute girl-friendly (but they check IDs, the girl must be >20!) and very quiet.

If you go to Ko Phangan für the Full moon party take a girl with you from Ko Samui. When I was there this month there were only a few youngsters who tried to make you pay a bucket (=drink) but did not want to go with you to the hotel.

In general: We noticed that many girls gave us wrong information on their age. Many of the girls are under 18, some of them probably under 15. Please keep in mind that it does not help if you say to the police you THOUGHT the girl is over 18, you go to jail if they get you!!! If the girl is under 15 the minimum punishment is 10 years!!!

Knowing this we asked the girls for their ID-cards but the problem is that they count the Buddha-year. I was told that you just have to subtract 543 to get the christian year.

An example: Buddha-year 2531 is christian year 1988, so the girl must be 18 and you are safe.

have fun

Very tough to find, as the website is the not so obscure:

www.lamaiwanta.com

I would add that despite the outdated info on the website, the restaurant is up and running, and quite outstanding - clearly the best eatery in all of lamai.

I appreciate there are many in the forum who pop up, ask questions, and then disappear without adding anything via a field report etc. This must be quite frustrating to more experienced mongers here whose reports are keenly read by many, they answer questions and then see no FR from these newbies who they tried to advise. Whenever I've asked questions on the board I've always followed up with a field report of my own. Which I'll do this time as well.

thanks for the link

(March 2005) but still worth Publishing; )

Okay. After wandering around the Island most of the Day, I decide it is time to get some Action going!

Went to Seafood restaurant with some Friends and ate like crazy until around 22: 30. Got back to our Hotel, changed and decided to Hit Chaweng (I wanted to go to Lamai but wtf, I followed the Crowd).

We arrived there around 23: 00, settled in a Little Bar, one block away from GoGos and Other Agressive Bars. The Bar was okay, 3 ladies serving behind the bar, and about 5 hanging waiting to get the Opportunity to ask for a Lady Drink. We start ordering Beer and the Bartender (Kinda cute Tall TG) wants to play "Connect 4" so we play for a while and she kicks my ass, I buy her couple drinks, we laugh, my friends all have good company but my eyes keep drifting to the 2 main bars behind us where lots of TG are dancing on the Bar. Some are from time to time giving the impression to be "Flasing a nipple". I want to have a closer look so I leave my friends and tell them I'm gonna check the Action around. Well, I was a little disappointed as they were showing nothing but the bikinis. Ladies were nice so I stayed for a Beer.

Off to Dream Girls now, the Newer Go-go, and THIS TIME, I swore not to come home alone!

The Club is not too busy and most customers are sitting in "Pervert's Row" so I found myself a super spot in the Dark Back corner. I order a Beer.

One thing I like about DreamGirls is that the Girls are not all over you, they respect your privacy. From time to time a BG would come and Chat but nothing that caught my fancy. I was looking at the Stage and #43 seemed really nice. Good pair of Tits and Ass so I motion to my waitress to invite her here (So I can take a closer Look).

After about 15 minutes, I was regretting having called her over. My god was she dumb! Right off the start she tells me that she does not want to waste her time and sit if I am not going to BF her. To which I reply that I cannot BF someone I don't know. And she insist that If I want her to sit, I have to pay the 500 BarFine. Fuck that, I call the Waitress and ask her to rid my area of this snobby TG.

Another Beer. Another TG Approaches. She is downright ugly but has a very upbeat personnality, so I ask her to sit and by her a LD, she had me laughing hard. If she was a little better I'd BF her at once. But I decided to let her go after 2 drinks, she was ok with it, no offense taken.

12: 30. Time to get serious, but nothing I like. Until this TG appears from Nowhere. She is Petite, long hair, cute face. The whole lot. Only drawback, her Top seems to be so close to her chest I wonder if she has any titties.

She stands in front of me and asks me what my name is. Next thing you know, she's reaching down my pants, grabs my cock and gives it a handshake. "Hi, I'm MAE" she says. "I'm Frenchy" I say. A little surprised.

She looks at me and throws "I'm not talking to you". Then starts laughing and I force a little laugh. She was only joking but I'm still a little shaken at this point.

She sits and we start to talk. She then becomes quite serious and Asks me if I am Muslim (Wtf? ), I say, Wtf you asking this for? She only replies that she wants to know. I tell her I am not muslim and she looks more relaxed (now at this point I wanted to tell her to get lost) I politely asked if she had anything against muslims and she said she had. I asked Why and she replied her sister got beaten up by 2 north-African men and that from then on she would refrain from seeing Muslims (I understood her fear but I would not put all muslims in the same bag.) anyhow, she orders another drink and starts to get more and more touchy-Feely.

So I start asking her lots of questions. Is she shaved, does she do BJ, etc, etc. She takes my hand and puts it down her Panties. Confirmed she was all shaved!

Also, she pulled aside one piece of her Bra to reveal the longest nipple I ever saw. I ask her how much and she says 3000. I laugh and say I, m not paying more than 1000. She thinks, asks me where my hotel is (far from Chaweng) and then says, If I give you 1000 ST, I'll have to stay LT for free because too far to go home.

She says she lives just behind Burger king and it is a 2mn Walk. I can get 2 shots for 1500, no timekeeping.

Ok, I happily accept. Pay the 500 BF, and off we go.

We go out of the Club and she holds my hand. Damn she looks cute in her Street Clothes. She looks like she is 22ish and cannot stop smiling.

I felt uncomfortable holding hands in the Street with a TG (I know. Don't ask) but every "Falang" seemed to do the same.

Not even 2 minutes and we arrive at her Place. JESUS! It was Small! Not bigger than 20sqm.

There were 3 beds, kids toys around. I ask her if she has kids and she says no it's her sisters. They all live there so she has to call make sure no one will disturb. (nice touch).

I go to shower, well, one hose on the Wall, open to everything. And cold water only. I'm fighting not to put water everywhere. After a few mns, I'm done and she goes. I switch on the TV and watch Thai Channels (NO Cable %at$! $#$at). She comes back wrapped in the Towel. And she said she would prefer the Lights off. OK with me since the Bathroom was open and there was already enough lights in the Room.

We lay on the Bed and she drops the Towel. DAMN she looks nice! Not a lot of Tits but those nipples. She lays there and I get on Top, we frenchkiss for a while, and I go down on her with My tongue. I take my time and As soon as I touch the Nipples they stand to attention (even nicer). I go down under to discover a very little pussy all shaved and very tasty.

After a little while, she flips, takes my boxers away and starts to suck on my balls. When she moves up to the Shaft, I stop her to put the Rubber On. Oh she could suck! It took 5 minutes then I removed the condom and came on her face. (I let it go as I knew I had a second shot coming). She went to the Bathroom to clean herself up and came back. We started with 69 (I'm young so no problem with Back to back sex), then she proceeded to take me Cowgirl. Gently, then faster. I told her I did not like Missionnary so she took the Doggy Position and we continued. I pumped, pumped and pumped again harder and harder and suddenly got the Bad Feeling (you know, when you know that no matter how hard you fuck the juice is not going to come out? ). I lay on my back amd motion her to BJ, which she does. At this point, it's been over 45mn on the second "Shot" I stopped her and told her that I didn't feel I could come a second time. She looks at me with wide eyes and starts to frown. She goes down on my thing and sucks hard, lots of Balls play, get back cowgirl rides hard, moving left and right trying to get the juice out. She says, "me make you happy", "me make you happy". At this point it was getting personnal, she was really into it to make me cum, and I, wanted to get the hell out. I stopped her, cuddled her and told her I was very happy so we frenchkissed a little and she asked me if I wanted to stay the night and get the second shot tomorrow norning? I declined, got up to get dressed and I liked how she helped me button my shirt, put my shoes.

It is rare this happend to me. Usually I am a quicker to pop the Juice rather than no juice at all. And it wasn't the Alcohol!

I would never go to a BG's place, mostly because of the lack of comfort (cold shower, poor quality towels, no aircon, small bed, qustinable hygiene, ...) All that has a cumulative effect that can easily affect one's capacity to enjoy the moment to the fullest, to say the least.

I remember once in Phuket many moons ago while doing it with a lovely BG in her own place I was shocked to see the largest rat I ever saw watching us from the center of the room. Being a young buck at that time I still managed to get over it and conclude happily but nonetheless it was unpleasant.

Now I only partake in the comfort and seclusion of my own hotel room full of creature comfort.

Well I have to say thank you to everyone that has contributed to my sucsess as a Sex Tourist. This is my first post but I have used the information on this site for a very long time with much sucsess. before I go into my find I would like to echo what I have been hearing about the useless information that I have been seeing pop up on this forum.

It isnt pattya though.Hi,

I do question here but I don't know if is it right.

Do you know MAMA'S Traditional Thai Massage in Samui?

How much and is it OK?

Sorry but I write not very well because I'm not English.

Seems no much reports about this island.

Going to be there in 2 weeks time for the first time and wondering whether there is any update on the locations/bar fines etc.

Is it a good step to keep a girl for the whole stay or change then everyday? Is it cheaper that way (well from a western perspective nothing is that exensive in Thai, but do not want to feel ripped off

Not necessarily looking for the variety, but for a good GFE.

Are the girls reliable on that for a LT (or days)?

Any hint will help!

Is it your first to Thailand? Or only to Samui?

In my opinion, Samui's nightlife (however you can find someone easily) is pretty tame.

You have 2 areas:

Chaweng: Very touristy area with 2 Agogo bars and lots of other bars

Lamai: More Laid back

Both areas have gems (but they need to be found).

I can't really say if it is better to stick to the same girl or butterfly, but i can tell you what I would do: I would not keep the girl for the whole stay.. unless she is a stunner and unbelievable in bed ;)

Last time I was in samui I found the ladies less appealing than in April 2005.

Still a lot of fun to be had in Samui.

I have just spent 6 nights in Lamai, been there about 5 times now.
I stay at Marina Beach resort, GF, on beach, centre of Lamai, room safes, A/C at 1400 ish high season.
In Lamai Saturday night fight night is a must, lady boxing, and ladyboy, the girls from the bars go ballistic when their girl is fighting, starts 1030, right in the centre of town by McDonalds.
About 60 Beer bars in Lamai, pickings a bit thin but there are the odd gems.
Plenty of 6's with good attitude.
I never even bother going to Chaweng.
Also a couple of late night discos if you've not managed to find something you like.

Well seems like this Lamai Wanta - recommended by others here - is too nice - just found out that it is fully booked for the time I'm arriving on Ko Samui.

Any other recommendations that match the qualities of Lamai Wanta?

Quiet, Clean, Great Restaurant, Pool, close to nice swimming beach, and GFE?

LRHi Rascal,

In 8 weeks I will travel also again to Samui for the 3th time.

As for your question, The 3 disco's are in Chaweng. You have the "Green Mango" disco located at the Soi Green Mango and the "Reggea Pub" at Soi Reggea. If you ask people or best a taxidriver they would easily provide you there. Watch out taxi's are expensive at Samui, best rent a motorbike 250bht a day. I rent for 3 weeks so prize goes down for me to 200bht/day.

Never been at the Solo disco (where all go from 0.200 am) so I don't know where it is.

Am curious at what time you will go (maybe at same time and maybe we could meet).

As I can't use the Private Mail on this site and if you would like more info you can mail me at rik_1966 (at) hotmail (dot) com

Greetings,

Jingle
