Service is consistently bad at CC. There are exceptions if you look hard enough and go through enough trial and error, but the culture of the place is such that the girls make little effort to earn their money in the room, and can be downright unpleasant. The indoctrination process for these girls must involve a lot of talk about how to get the man to give up money for drinks and go to the room, and none about the need to please the man with good service. In fact, it almost seems like the opposite is taught--make sure the girls rush through perfunctory service.
I used to go to CC often, but now I rarely do. AB has its own problems, but is way better than CC nowadays. Other places are also.

I have to disagree with you on CC, I think it has gotten much better over the last couple of months and overall is better to hang out at than AB. If you go during the week the girls are very laid back and will spend alot of time hanging out with you and not bug you about going upstairs. Plus at CC you don't get bugged like you do at AB from the ugly chicas asking you to buy them a drink. As far as the time upstairs, YMMV if you pick a girl based only on looks you'll probably have a bad experience but if you sit a watch the girls to see who goes up alot and how much time they spend you can get an idea of what is in store for you. Just sit back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and find a little cuttie that has been alone most of the night, then start talking to her and see how her personality is. But if you don't like the place luckily you still have AB, La Tropa, LC, Tropical, Miami, and Hong Kong just to name a few.

The last time I went to CC was a few months ago, but I was pretty content with the experience. First time was with Maritsa. Maybe 30 years, ok bod, but really alot of fun. She was dancing anf flirting, wearing pigtails and a schoolgirl skirt. We went up, took a shower together. Then bed and several positions. She kept saying "Aaaiieee Papi, que bueno!". It was a lot of fun! Took another shower together and left.
Nest time was with Roxanna. Very young and cute. Had a real "pouty, bad attitude" look, but when we went upstairs she was really nice. Small breast but tight boddy. Lots of laughs. Well worth it.
The last couple of times I went it was dead in there, and I didn't see anyone I recognized, so I went to Adelitas.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I would go after 10pm. Yes during the week it will seem like the place is dead but this is the best time to talk to the girls and spend time with them. The more time you spend talking to the girl or dancing the better experience you will have upstairs.

Hope CC is still the place, when I was there last year I bumped in to Danyella (sp) rated about a 5 in a previous post but gave me the ride I won't soon forget. Long straight brown hair. Had a bad experience Tuesday 11/4 with a girl from the Chicago Club. I don't remember her name, but she speaks perfect english. She said she was from Chula Vista / San Diego area. She is very agressive in trying to get you to the room right away. She promised an incredible time, and since her English was so good I thought there would be no misunderstanding in what I wanted. I explained it to her more than once.
She wanted $70 + room fee to go up. I felt ok with her so I agreed to $60. When we get to the room she ask for $20 more and promised a good time. I agreed to give her $5 more, and we proceed. After 15 seconds (literally) of CBJ she wants me to get on top. After about 20 seconds on top she is trying to rush me saying it is too big, and it hurts. I barely even had the tip in, and sometimes I was not in at all and she was waling. I left before finishing, and throw her clothes out in the hall as I left. I thought I should have complained to club management, but not sure of the protocol down there, and didn't want to bring any unwanted trouble to myself if she lied about something that happened in the room.
I have never had this issue before in my 7 trips to TJ. If you run into a Americanized latina who speaks perfect english, and is in a big rush to get you upstairs. Avoid her like the plague. Her body is not the greatest (especially nude) so it should not be that hard.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Chicas reneging on what was discussed, doing the bare minimum (15 second cbj!), and rushing you are unfortunately all too common at Chicago and other clubs, although yours was an especially bad experience. Bad experiences happen to anyone who goes to TJ with any regularity, there is definitely hit and miss. From hard experience, I have learned to avoid any chica who is aggressive in quickly trying to get you to the room. This is a major warning sign.
I have not personally been subjected to upselling very often. But the way to avoid this is to always, always, pay after. Never pay before. If they insist upon payment up-front, walk out. Once she has the money, she has no incentive to perform well and she is also free to upsell.
While there are warning signs and being careful increases the odds of picking a good chica, there is no way to ever guarantee you are going to pick correctly. I agree with you that complaining to management is futile and getting into a dispute with a chica is not a good idea. My philosophy is to just accept the bad experiences as an inevitable part of the game, and use what you learn to refine your criteria for picking chicas. If the chica acts offensively or makes no effort, end it quickly, don't finish, save the energy and find another chica. There are always other chicas.

Celeste is her name Bad4URHeart. She is bad news, stay away all of you. I got ripped off by her a few weeks ago on my 2nd trip to the zona. I was to embarrassed to post my mistakes in dealing with her. EVERYONE AVOID CELESTE. I first ran into here at La Tropa, I think, and then I ran into her at Las Chevales. The pickings were slim and she spoke English and the chicas weren't digging me being in a wheelchair. So even though she wasn't attractive I agreed. She was supposed to stay the night and being the idiot I am I payed in advance. She gave me a cheap CBJ and next I knew she was gone with all my money. I went back a few weeks later and when I walked in CC she came up to me right away. I just left. I have learned a valuable lesson I hope you don't repeat this.

Wow, is there anything lower than stealing money from a guy in a wheelchair? Sounds like this con artist chick gets around, moving from one bar to another--La Tropa, Las Chavales, CC. Maybe, contrary to what I have thought, management does do something if there are enough complaints about a chica. Or, more likely, maybe she moves around to try to stay away from the angry guys she rips off at each establishment.
This chick is so brazen and the behavior so risky and short-sighted that I am guessing her behavior may be related to a recent topic on the Tijuana general thread--drugs. I'll bet a bucket of Coronas this chica is a drug user. Either she is doing this while on meth or another drug or is doing it to obtain money to feed a drug habit.

Celeste is her name. Beware. She looks like your average early 20s Mexican-American chic. Nothing particularly special about her, except for her language skills. I did however get the impression that she was on drugs shortly after I paid her in the room. It was a little late by then.
It's a shame too, as I was talking to her, I saw the best chica of the night standing not 10 feet away from me. I was tired of the walking back and forth between Chicago, Miami, the Alley, and Adelitas trying to find something I really like, so I settled for her. Next time, I'm going to be all about business, and I will skip Tuesday nights (slim pickins).
I did end the night with a nice SG, so it was not a total bust. Sin ropa, multiple positions, and some interest in our interactions (instead of that patented SG mindless stare). She was 'muy caliente' as the cab driver I rode with after called her. I wonder how he knew!!
This Celeste being on drugs may also help explain why she has moved among so many clubs in a short period of time. Although drugs are a reality in the Zona, the club owners will get rid of chicas doing drugs on their premises. The club owners have a good thing going, have nothing to gain from tolerating drug use, and they know the police will come down hard on them eventually if they do tolerate it.

Just a note for anyone curious.
Chicago Clubs seems to come alive on weekends (Fri, Sat) about 9pm. Before that it is pretty dead. But after 9pm it gets packed pretty quick.
I think the average quality is better than AB after 9pm. However, AB has more stunner than Chicago. The reason CC has a better average is because AB has a large number of "3s and 4s".
It's been a while but I would like to recommend a couple girls from CC. The first is Maritsa. Kind of a soft shape but really fun. Late 20's pointy tits. Really into her job. The other is Roxanna. She seemed like she was going to be kind of a dud. But she was so young and pretty I couldn't help myself. Medium, dark hair, thin. Once in the room, she was very fun. Liked doggy style.

I guess we're talking about jealous hookers. These girls are supposed to be professional but let me tell you, it has been my experience that they are mostly jealous petty women who act anything but professional. I understand that their clientelle is important to them because that is how they feed their kids and send money home to mom. But under all the makup and professional bravado are frightened, jealous, possessive women.
When I find a chica I enjoy and trust (a relative term given the context) I will stay with her while keeping my options open for someone else who pricks up my ears. At first, the chicas always tell you that they don't care if you see other chicas. They seem quite adament about it so I always keep that in the back of my mind. However, try taking them up on it and you will get quite another reaction.
I remember taking one of my regulars to the room and asking her this question directly and she said she had no problem with it. Fast forward about 4 months and I run into my regular coming downstairs as I was headed up and I can't explain in words the look on her face. Shock, like I was cheating on my wife...and surprise when she blurted out my name as if to say "what are you doing here". Then when I got downstairs after the session the regular made her way over to me and told me flat out, "No mas putas" I knew what that meant.
Another time I had a regular who knew I had another regular that I enjoyed from time to time. This one at least was honest up front. She didn't like it and would always try to ask me questions to see if I had spent time with the other chica before her. Frankly, I didn't think it was her business. So I tried to avoid the topic but alas, it is unavoidable. Girls talk, and they find out anyway so you might as well give up the ghost.
Just recently I have been seeing another one of the chicas on a regular basis and she knows that one of the girls is a friend of mine. Everytime she sees me with my friend (who is the girl from the previous paragraph) she always has some very snide comment to offer up about the girl. The last time it was so rude that I finally had had enough and told her to stop it and be nice. This sent her into a mini tirade as if to say "I knew you liked her better than me". And she stormed off.
Am I the only one to have such experiences or is this commonplace and unavoidable in an industry where matters of sex and the heart become blurred and in the end, for all the posturing that goes on, they are all just women afterall with everything that that entails.

Excellent post. You know, I wrestle with this issue all the time and what works for me is that when I have one of these moments I do my level best to straighten it out with the girl and the beauty is that it is a "pass/fail" situation. She may or may not be ok afterward and if she can't get back into her skirt then "there it is ."
I think we are seeing a new mentality in the younger girls who might be more passionate about the exclusivity of the clientele and who might be taking this whole thing a bit too personally. Years ago the term "hard as a *****s heart" was used to describe the coldness with which the women handled their clients (for the most part) and even though this might be true to a greater or lesser degree today, I see a change in the mentality of the girls who might not have as easy a time disconnecting from the possessiveness (check spell) as their counterparts in years past. Am I making sense?
My view is that these lovely women do a tough job that involves us mongerers. Being 50% of the equation make me at least 50% responsible for being there so I believe that as we look to them for what we seek, they should get from us a bit of what they need, some compassion and understanding.
For me, these women are a dream come true (especially the Venezuelan in Mexicali). They are beautiful to look at and fabulous to encounter as mattress monsters. I just have a feeling of responsibility for my part in it and I don't mind showing it to them.

CC has a new policy regarding leaving with a chica and taking her to a hotel not attached to the club. As you all may know the old policy was if you left the club with a chica and wanted to take her to another hotel for the night (or even a few hours for that matter) the monger paid the bar $20 and the girl was his. Well now CC has a new manager and he has decided to change the policy. It now will cost a monger $100 to leave with one of the girls. I ask this question. How is this good for the club and how will it make CC more money?
This is a losing proposition for the club any way you slice it. The girls know how to get around it; they meet the monger at a prearranged spot and the monger will invariably spend all the money on the girl away from the club. I know one girl who has a regular who would come to CC, spend about $100-150 on drinks and then take the girl either upstairs or to a hotel nearby. That's one girl. Multiply that by how many girls have the same experience and you can see business drop off dramatically at CC. Plus, there are times when the casual monger may go to CC and find a chica he may want to shack up with for the evening. Then the chica lays on the new policy and this drives a potential customer into the waiting arms of an AB chica who still maintains a $20 charge for leaving the club with a girl.
I don't know the new managers name but I know who he is. He used to be just one of the grunts running around asking for drink orders. He was a hard nosed prick before and this doesn't exactly elevate his status in my book.
Those of you who know this meathead and maybe have a rudimentary spanish skill may want to breach this subject with him. Hopefully he can do the math and come to the same conclusion. We need mongers with some fluency in spanish to start talking to this guy and letting him know what a tremendous miscalculation this is.

Another trip to TJ this weekend, and I am focusing on CC since that is the only place I hooked up this time. This is like my 9th or 10th trip (starting to lose count).

Took my first trip to TJ on Friday and started off in Chicago, what a place to go! There were about 40 women, most 6 to 8s, but a few really hot babes. After giving myself a 1/2 hour to settle in, I spotted a girl with just the right look and body. A few seconds of talk (I speak zip Spanish, but it was not an issue as she knew enough English for us to get by) and off we went for the usual $60 her/$12 room/$1 tip to the clean up boy.
The room was remarkable clean (well, at the time I thought is was merely OK, but after visiting some other places, like bar San Diego in Mexicali on Saturday, I could see that the rooms above Chicago are really clean in comparison!)
The girl was great, everything was covered and I did not feel rushed, although since she was the first for the night, it did not really take a long time either :)
I hung around the bar for a while, but decided to check out a couple of other places. Not much else to report, I stayed away from the alleys and stuck to the one block strip for my first visit (went over to Adelitas - report in that area) and cabbed it back and forth (asking the price before getting in the cab, but $5 seems to be universal).
Having been to FKK clubs in Germany (some of the finest places on the face of the earth to visit!), I would rank the layout here a close second. I can't wait to go back!

First time poster here.
After reading all the great reports the last few months, felt the need to contribute now that I've been approved. Been to CC about 8 times in the last 3 months and can tell you its better to sit at the bar along the left side where the chicas hang out so you can talk easily with them, even though my espanol is so-so at best.
After 9 or 10 pm on weekends is when the talent arrives. Been lucky with AnnaMae, tight little blonde about 25, b cups, and almost GFE. Looks 8+ Attittude 9 Service 8. Julia is older, busty 36DD brunette who has her own room right upstairs, no rush, mutliple positions and can be had all night for around $200. Looks 7, Attiude 8+, Service 8. Both girls went for $60 for the 30 min plus room. This place can be worth fighting the crowds on weekend when Adelitas is too crowded for many.

Sunday afternoon, around 5:30 PM. AB was doing decent business, considering the day and hour, but no one really grabbed my attention there, so I went to check out CC. That place was DEAD. There were maybe three guys, including me, and about 8 girls in the bar. I found a pair of cuties sitting by the bar, Jimena and Laura. Jimena spoke enough English, but her friend Laura didn't. In my conversation with her, I told her that I wanted to make sure they'd treat me well, and hinted that there might be a tip in it for them if they did. Now, bear in mind that I don't sprechen the Espanol, so it's probably all wrong, but she seemed to get the idea. I actually wanted to have a bit of dancing before business, but neither girl was into that, even though I offered them a couple of dollars. They were embarrassed to dance publicly, even though the place was almost empty. But they promised me a little dance in the room.
The girls were giggly and a little awkward, as I don't think they were used to working tandem. But Jimena was very affectionate, though Laura was a bit stand-offish. I might have considered hopping into the shower with them, but I've always been inclined to wear shower sandals or something in a public shower, to avoid any kind of foot fungus, and I had none with me of course. But with two girls, there was one to take care of me while the other was washing up, so I didn't get bored. Jimena seemed to take the lead, giving me a bit of a dance first (a request of mine). Maybe next time I'll take the advice someone posted here and tip the cleanup guy $5 so he won't come knocking.

Yeah I would never consider jumping in a shower with two hot chicas and risk getting athletes foot, heaven forbid.
Had a very nice time with Carla from Monterrey tonight at CC. I spent most of the evening at AB, as I typically do, but since I had never gone up at the CC, I decided that tonight would be the night. CC was very dead all evening, but then again, AB was not nearly as crowded as a weekend evening either.
Carla is 25, has two little girls (4 and 5) and said she has been in TJ for about 3 years. She is about 5'7", thin, and sports a lovely 34 B (or so) set of breasts. Stretch marks and evidence of the ninas is hardly evident. Her breasts are incredible for having two children.

Uhh, maybe next time you should read the entire post before you reply. As I said in my original post, "with two girls, there was one to take care of me while the other was washing up."
See, most English-speaking people can correctly interpret this to mean that each girl was showering separately, and I was being entertained by the girl who was NOT in the shower. So "jumping in a shower with two hot chicas" was not part of the game plan. I suppose I could have jumped into the shower with ONE hot chica while the other one was keeping the bed warm, but I preferred to stay on the bed where the other chica could bounce up and down on my lap.
I'm sure you would prefer getting a foot fungus over getting a lap dance, but I guess I just don't have as good a health plan as you do. Or maybe enjoy visiting the TJ pharmacies as much as the bars. Has anyone gone upstairs with Itzel (from Sinaloa)? She gives outstanding service, and is into the sex. I've gone upstairs with her on 2 different occasions, and both times were memorable. She has long black hair with dark eyes, she's not skinny but she's definitely not fat. Even when in the bar she was very affectionate, and when she was with another customer she kept making eye contact with me (must have remembered our first experience). Had a very bad experience with a girl from CC. My friend took her to our hotel and negotiated for 2 hours. She didn't want to finish up once she got her 'paycheck', a shouting match ensued, and she ended up calling hotel security (motel alaska, wonder if anyone heard us?). To make a long story short, we almost got thrown in jail. Bad service...stay away! I was in TJ a few years ago and stayed at a hotel directly next door to Chicago Club, it was about $25 for the night. I plan to stay there again when I go back in a couple weeks. Would a CC girl to a room there instead of the short-time rooms, and if so would she or the club charge me extra?
The Hotel Leyva is next to CC. Rooms now are 275 pesos/night plus 20 peso key deposit. I find it best to buy pesos at the money exchange across the street from the Jack in the Box next to the border on the US side. Latest exchange rate was 11.45 pesos/dollar.
If they don't know you, CC girls are reluctant to go to a hotel other than the CC sponsored Hotel Jalos, because bar girls have been beaten up and killed. Adelitas is clearly more busy than Chicago; in fact, don't even bother with Chicago during the day--EVER. However, if you're in TJ around, say, 10:00 or so on a Friday or Saturday night, it's worth checking both clubs out. I was there this past weekend and while Adelitas was almost uncomfortably packed and stuffy, Chicago was quite busy too, yet you could still move around a little more comfortably. Though the 'talent' was comparable, I'd still have to say the beauty scale tilts in Adelitas favor. Don't quite know why it is, but the girls in Chicago seem somewhat stuck-up too--maybe it's the lighting or something in the water?

Went to CC on Monday August 30 at about 2 in the afternoon. I hadn't been there in 2 years and had read the posts about poor selection but it was a routine I was comfortable with so I went for it anyway. I've been to both CC and AB in the last year enough times to discover a decent pattern to work from. While AB has more hot chicks at almost all hours and remains my favorite, you can score at CC if you sit in the right place at the right time.
Yeah, Chicago Club sucks most of the time. But if you go fairly late at night after 11 pm, and sit along the long bar on the left, not only will all the girls wander by going to and from the ladies room, many sit at the bar, hanging out and are very easy to talk with and not too pushy with the drinks. So I can check out all the girls, knowing each one will walk with 2 ft of me, and if I wish to talk, all I have to do is make eye contact. Since business is slower there, they will sit an talk for awhile and gotten much better service than I do at AB girls who are in a hurry. The price is pretty much the same, but you also can negotiate a allniter easily(TLN).
The also have more girls stipping in the bar at night, if thats your thing, you can really see the goodies at that point. Some of the finest latinas that I've seen were at CC.

But that aspect of the club's business definitely conflicts with the hookup aspect.
To use a popular cliche, I understand the Chicago Club "is what it is." And I realize the owners are unlikely to depart from a format that's worked for decades. But there are two incremental changes they could make that would go a long way toward improving the place.
First, improve the lighting. There are definitely girls in the Chicago Club that want to hookup and go up. Yep, CC is definitely a pretty good place, and in my opinion it just doesn't get the recognition it deserves on this board. Most guys seem to prefer AB, and often refer to the women at CC as being "ugly". I know the place is pretty dead during the day, but come 8pm I will take CC over AB any night. anyway, we get fish tacos at this great all-local stand 5 or 6 blocks away, spend some time at the sports book, then all night drinking at the nelson’s bar. this is a great little watering hole. mostly locals, the drinks are reasonably priced, pretty good jukebox. we proceed to get hammered. i’m pretty drunk, but m’s absolutely sh*tfaced by about 2:00am. we stagger upstairs, hit the hay. i’m ready for some action, she’s strangely lethargic. next thing you know, i hear a strange sound. i sit up and she’s hurling all over the floor next to the bed! holy sh*t! i fetch the wastebasket, but it’s a bit too late. oh, well.
raging hangover the next day. hangover-tinged morning nookie isn’t the greatest, but it’s better than nothing! spend the rest of the morning in the nelson bar drinking cervezas michiladas, which she swore was the only cure for a hangover. you gotta love these authentic experiences. i left for home in the afternoon, she opted not to go to work that evening. i think she got $150 - $200 at the end, but memory is really fuzzy.
this sort of became our mo for the next couple of years. we’d meet, get a room and go have a good time. (i think we’ve been in most of the hotels on revu now. the paris is a dump, the cesar has been remodeled and is rather nice, in a motel 6 kind of way, the espana is probably my farorite. but they’re all pretty noisy until about 3:00 – 4:00 in the am). consequently, i had no reason to go to cc for a long time.
to go off on a tangent for a second, earlier this year i called her up. she’s now working days. (i thought it was still at cc but i found out that it was at las chavelas) she says she really preferred days over nights. the crowd was a lot different (many married men looking for a little on the side), a lot calmer and less nerve wracking. that’s the official line, and it may be true. i know that she is well past her sell-by date, and suspect the night shift wasn’t paying what it used to. she’s now about 38, but looks a little older. i guess working in a bar will do that to you. but you certainly don’t want to get into a tequila drinking contest with her! :-)
fast forward to july. i got a friday off, headed down, got the room at espana, just like always. after lunch at the fish taco stand we’re back in the room. i like sitting in a quiet room and talking. i can concentrate on the spanish without too much interruption, and if the person speaks a little slowly i can pick up a lot. it really helps, so we would do that frequently. she tells me that her mother is really ill and she may have to go back to chiapas and take care of her. if that happens, she isn’t coming back.
earlier this month i received a call from her. she left a message asking me to call her back right away. uh-oh! i do, and she would like to see me before the weekend. i make arrangements, get a padres ticket, and head down on friday, two weeks ago.

get to la linea around 5:00, about 45 minutes in line, trolley to the stadium. watch the padres pull it out in extra innings, back to la linea on the trolley. call and we meet at the corner near cc. turns out that she has a room near there, temporarily.
we go hand-in-hand up constitucion to la revu. she knows i don’t have a lot of dough left, so she picks the place with $1 coronas. after 3 or 4 i feel pretty good, but it’s getting really late and i gotta hit the road. she’s surprised, and not too happy, that i don’t intend to sleep with her. i ‘fess up that i don’t have the $$ left for a room. she says that we’ll go to her room, if i don’t mind no hot water. ok, fine.
mano en mano, back down constitucion. she has a room just past molino rojo, in a really cheesy block of rooms. single room, dinky bathroom, no hot water, just enough room for a single bed and a tv. really grotty. $60 a week. she had been sharing a small apartment with two other girls in a somewhat nicer part of town, but they had moved away. she suspected things were going to get really bad in chiapas, so she took this dump for a few weeks. (i thought this place was bad for one person, but she told me that two girls who worked at cc shared the same sized room next door. and i thought i’d seen some grim dwellings in cambodia.)
well we got undressed, turn out the lights, opened the door for a bit of breeze and went at it for the last time. she always enjoyed daty, so, as a treat, i indulged her. she always liked cg, i prefer mish, so we split the duties. after resting and cooling down, it’s almost 2:30. i have a 2 hour drive ahead of me. she’d really like me to stay the night with her, but i just have too much crap to do on saturday. so it’s a cold shower, dress and she escorts me back to the corner opposite cc. she says the alley leading from her place to the street is dangerous and that she needed to go with me. maybe she’s right. quick kiss on the corner, grab a cab and it’s off to the border. no cops at the drop-off, whiz through security and it’s back to la. get home about 4:45. ugh.
so, now it’s back again to tj, but it won’t be the same. it may be good, it may be bad, but it won’t be the same. time will tell whether it’s better or worse. i can still hear her cautioning me in her slightly fractured english.
“when you come to tijuana, be careful. stay away from women who only want money, money, money. too many ladies in chicago take too much drugs. always want money, more money. too crazy.”
well, with advice like that, what can you say? i will say this. i’ve met a lot of girls in this business, and the ones who get my respect are the ones who take their familial responsibilities seriously. from rangoon to jaco, the ones who get my repeat business use the money they earn to feed and educate their children, care for their aged parents, or whatever. they don’t sit on their ass and collect welfare, they don’t support some leech boyfriend and they money doesn’t go straight up their noses. you gotta respect someone like that, and ms. maite certainly fits the bill.

went to see the pads saturday. frickin' traffic! the construction on the 5 just before the 5/805 split, even when they're not working, causes this huge slowdown for several miles. arrgh! 2 hour drive turns into a 3+ hour drive. park at the border near the trolley, trolley to petco, get to my seat an hour late.
after the game, crossed la linea and grabbed a yellow taxi to the border (cuz i'm too lazy to go find a libre). driver chatted me up, told me how bad the police are getting, stopping everybody walking, mexican or american, doesn't matter. rico, pobre, doesn't matter. he also mentioned something about the cops "leave us alone," which i took to mean the yellow cab drivers. since the taxi mafia and jorge hank are as*hole buddies, do the fuzz not hassle the yellow cabs? did i misunderstand? was he full of guano? anybody?
got to cc just before 11:00. place was swamped. like 6 - 8:1, guys to girls. not so good. so i made a lap and walked out. thought i'd poke my head into las chavelas, just for fun. looked around, not nearly as busy, but couldn't see anything that really attracted me. a fairly chubby chica kept smiling at me and patting the chair next to her. i kept smiling back and kept my distance.

I will let Phordphan comment on how they rate as I've not stayed there but... I believe the Hacienda de Santiago is a good bet for a nice room, decent price and a bit over a block from CC/AB.
It would be a lot easier to get a street girl to go there with you and maybe easier to get a bar girl if you wanted an all nighter.

I checked out the Villa Zaragoza once. It seems a nice place if you have your car, but it's way the hell up behind the Jai Alai fronton, and quite a hike to the zona.

From the experiences of my friends and mine we know its according to which bar and hotel you go to. The girls working infront a bar generally have to use their hotel. Generally if they get caught during work hours going to another hotel, they can get in trouble. The same problem applies to club girls, they have to use the hotel of the club. My friends usually stays at that hotel above Adelitas so since alot of the clubs around there use the same hotel, they get away with not paying the visitors fee. Its a good hotel, but always crowded on the weekend because they got air condition so good luck getting a room there. Even better when the girl is staying in the hotel also, she can pass by your room later or get the visitors fee waived. I usually stay at Leyva in the new wing. They don't charge a visitors fee so I have gotten girls in with no problem. I have gotten Chicago girls to come up to my room, but they mostly want to come after work or when the club is closing. You may have to try her first at the bar hotel or if she is comfortable and trust you, she will pass by before or after work.

Don't kid yourself. CC is probably a better bet for the new monger or someone new to TJ. In general, the service is better and more personable. Lately, I've been doing more girls at AB. Yes, the AB girls are a cut above the rest/AB sells the sizzle and glitz a bit better as well. But when you're at AB, you kind of feel like you're in a nightclub in LA/it's just more pretensious/with girls throwing around attitude like people throwing around baseballs. It had better shows, and better service. Price was a bit higher as well but it was said that its worth the price. That it had become the top club at TJ. Heel to heel with AB or actually surpassing it. I no longer hear this. All I hear now is that its dead or slow.
On my first trip to TJ I put CC in my itinerary due to all the praise and hype it was receiving. When I got there, there was literally no one in there. I mean no one. I didn't even see a bartender and no music was playing. I'm surprised I didn't hear crickets. This was like 10:30 am on a Saturday. I walked out. But to be fair, this was on a holiday and when I went into AB it was kind of dead also, there was like only 4 girls in there. But that's better than going into an empty club.
When I returned to CC later that night there was finally some people there. But it was like Adelitas on a slow morning. And i saw only one girl who could have passed as a trophy girl. One girl I talked to at AB said she used to work at CC but got kicked out for deciding to take too many sick days. She didn't regret it though, since CC had gone down anyways.
So what happened to this club? How did it go from almost being number 1 to sucking? Obviously Adelitas once again reigns but what do you guys consider to now be the #2 club at tj? Hong Kong/Miami?

Experiences at the windy city club –
My first foray to this club happened a few weeks ago on a Tuesday just after 2 o’clock. Everyone should visit the zona during daylight hours at least once, there is an old west feel to it. I am from down-town San Diego, so I usually hop the trolley to the border.
During this time of day the trolley was hauntingly empty. As its doors cranked shut, pages of some random Spanish newspaper swirled around my feet. I grabbed a seat on the west side so I could watch the pale blue ocean slide by as the trolley rocked and lurched its way southward. The sea had a forlorn color to it, like tears of goodbye from a college sweet heart. I thought about the fact that the reason the trolley was so empty was that most people were dutifully working their day jobs, while I on the other hand was dutifully thinking of carnal debauchery.
My mind was in a haze, transfixed by the passing landscape, and the next thing I knew I was at the end of the line. The border was a breeze but I felt that I stood out a bit as the only gringo in sight. I’m sure the locals just shook their head and said to themselves, ‘I know where he’s going’. I wish the Taxi Libre’s were easier to find just outside the border, I ended up with the yellow variety and told him ‘Chicago’. He didn’t try to up-sell me to any of his commission generating spots, I think he was just enjoying the warm breeze as we weaved through the midday throngs.
This part of the city has a certain character to it. The word that comes to mind is gritty, not in the bad sense but gritty nonetheless. There is a sense of urgency about it with a twist of laissez-faire, I can’t quite describe it but it leaves a familiar taste in my mouth, like an old memory partially faded with time.
My cabbie pulled up to some corner, and I had to re-cage my brain. Having never visited the zona in the daylight everything looked only vaguely familiar, but sure enough there was the familiar Chicago club sign. I relieved myself of the usual five spot and shut the door, leaving the waning protests for lack of a tip behind me. I had places to go and pussy to see.

I was with a favorita of the Mexican variety at the time, after her dancing, the Asian girl went back to guy she was sitting with before her dance. When I was back in town last weekend I swung by Chicago and did not see her or any Asian chicas there.

Sheesh. ‘To good to be true’? Not really, that’s how it happened, except there was a typo on the room cost which Conejito so studiously spotted, it was $12 not $11, I guess my finger hovered over the ‘1’ key a tad too long. Also, I can’t remember her name, it began with a T, like Tina or something like that, but she did give it to me with her number on a piece of paper but my stupid ass let that go through the wash in my pants, oh well.

I went back inside after a little re-charge time, got a beer and sat down. The B team was still out and in short order I was approached by a cutie named Marisol or something similar, I really have to start remembering their names better. She was maybe in her mid to late 20’s, a little on the thick side, with long wavy died blonde hair. Her English was not very good, but with the little Spanish I know we made out ok. She was very fun and flirtatious, but she kept pushing for her friend to come over to join us so we could have a threesome. Her friend looked just like her, long blonde and thick.

I was in TJ 2 weeks ago and made the rounds. Stopped by Adelitas, HK and Chicago. I'm just an occasional visitor as I'm on the East Coast and only make it out to SD from time to time.
