Deja Vu; it seems I've heard this discussion many times before.
I'd say a single girl with no kids, living at home, could probably be fairly comfortable earning 5000-6000 pesos/month; mostly the basics with few luxuries.

Excellent post!!! Perhaps I shouldn't complain because I don't post pictures. But if a person is going to take pictures and post them, at least learn about basic lighting technique so the pictures come out viewable.
The main light source should be in front of the subject. Contrast between the subject and the background should be low. That means light subjects should be against light backgrounds and dark subjects should be against dark backgrounds.
As Partyer said, a dark-skinned chica on white bedsheets makes for a bad photo.
Despite my criticism of the quality of some pics, I want to express my appreciation for the pics that are posted. Those by Helpmann, for example are pretty good.

She was the negotiation I describe in some detail in my Sosua post after the aborted but interesting negotiation with the fireplug and her amiga. I negotiated RD$2500 for ST though she did in fact stay from about 10 until 10 the next day. As I say in the post, in retrospect I think I would have been able to negotiate about RD$1000 or 1200 if I wasn't kind of confused about the whole bargaining thing at the time. I would have then actually given her at least 500 pesos more as a propina and she would have been completely delighted instead of just very happy - and it would have cost me 1000 less.

Given the poor quality of the photograph and the unflattering pose, it is really hard to say.
It looks like she might have acne, but she has a fairly pretty face. Hard to tell anything about her body from this angle. Also we know nothing about her personality, her voice, her intelligence, how she moves, whether she is affectionate, and many more factors.

If you are visiting Santo Domingo and new there Jose would be a good man to know, not only to get ladies but anything you need. I told him I would post his number here, so tell him Larry sent you. Just never get into any dealing with him such as he offered his wife to do my laundry but I refused and took my clothes to the local cleaners. No shit, 5 shirts, 5 pants, 5 underwear, 5 socks was a total $30. 00 USD. This was one of my biggest mistakes.
I met Cyrus a friend I developed, at the airport and he and I shared a ride to the Mercure hotel. $20. 00 each. I had booked my room for 10 days (big mistake) but he was savy and only booked one night so he could look for a better deal. The Mercure Hotel is OK but NEVER NEVER NEVER eat or drink anything they leave in your room such as cokes, water, candy. My bill from local telephone and a few items was well over $200. 00, in fact 2 bottle waters and one candy was 550 peso"s ($18. 00 USD) The room was $44. 00 off the internet but taxes $12. 00USD and a guest $6. 00 a night made this another mistake. In the mean while my friend found a room further down El Conde Street for 1000 peso's a night. His room was nice, 2 times the size of mine and he had a full frig and cooking also Plus he paid nothing extra for ladies as guess. Also his ladies were never checked for an ID and mine was turned away unless they had an ID with them.
My first day I went strolling down El Conde. Checking out the stores but searching for some ass. Down a side street I was what was heaven with legs. I immediately staged left trying to catch up and see this beauty up close. She was stalled trying to cross the street and I was almost double timing it. She went in a small store, standing at the counter, getting a coke. Note here, I know no Spanish, fuck it I had to try. I stood beside her and tried to talk to her, LOL shit she knew No English. If the gentleman has been mongering in Europe, I wouldn't be surprised if he paid US 250-500 for an all-nighter, (actually, US250 for all-night in Europe is darn cheap) -but he will learn the different market prices quickly enough.
