I am in Cali, I have been here close to two months. I have never visited any other city in Colombia so all my pictures were taken here...on a side note it will probably be 20 years before I come back to Latin America, while most of you think I have had a great time here in the last four months, I would just like to say this:
LATIN AMERICA in my educated opinion is filled with 95% of the women having their heart replaced with a calculator so they can figure out how much money they can (Literally) SCREW you out of. They need this calculator because the intellectual level here dips far below even the stupidity of the United States, which is quite a feat in itself.
Latin America is only for when you are OLD, UGLY, and have a nice fat retirement fund to feed all the pirahnas (girls). I have been to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Lastly Colombia so I dont think I am under-educated, I also speak very good Spanish.
For those of you with a little game, and looks, if you dont check out CHINA or INDONESIA well then your just foolish. I also speak Chinese and Indonesian.
I am done with Latin America for a long while, and for those of you who are whining, BUT I DONT LIKE ORIENTAL WOMEN, I highly doubt you speak any Oriental Language or have given it more than a month.

Ok, I got back from Cartagena last week and I've got some great photos that I'd like to post, but they fill up the whole damn screen. I am a confessed computer retard, so if someone can tell me how to shrink the photos to upload them here I'll do so right away!
1. go to www.freeimageresizer.com and dowload the FREE image reduction program. Install the program & reboot.

3. In the box with the word "pixels" followed by a number, replace the 640 with 600.
4. On the left hand side ofr screen you will see a menu of your computer. Go to the place where your pictures are stored (probably the my documents folder on your C drive), then click on "my pictures" which should list your picture folders.
5. Highlite the pictures (click on them ONCE) you want to reduce. You can do several at a time by holding down the Control key as you highlite the second and subsequent pictures.
6. The reduced fotos will have the prefix "mini" before the file name and will be in bottom of the same directory as your originals.
avianca has its free stop overs with any international ticket thru May 28. When you buy an international ticket with them, ask for the free stop overs and you can fly for free to another city roundtrip.
If you don't ask about this they will not tell you. I found out about it by accident.

I was having the same problem regarding viewing photos but was able to fix it. What you have to do is removing HTTP port 80 on your internet security firewall. I am using Symantec Norton Internet Security and these are directions for people using Norton. Click on Norton Internet Security then click Options then click Norton Internet Security then Firewall then HTTP port lists and click on # 80 and remove it and then click OK. You should be able to view all the pics! Goodluck!
Ok guys the solution to photo viewing problem can be resolved by following instructions above posted by our friend Lebronz in the Brazil Photo Gallery Section.
As per Photo posting problem, those who use IE will probably have to download another browser. I use Netscape and i am able to post photos. Another Friend of ours in Brazil Photo Gallery section has suggested the following solution as well.
Like I´ve repeated several times on this site I´ve never had any problem viewing pictures but I sure have a difficult time loading them so here is a repost from Doctor skank hope that help you all in the Brazil board.

I installed a second browser, Opera 7.54, and am now using it to post pics without problems. You can download Opera from the internet. It is a cool browser, since it is not a target for viruses etc. and is very stable.
Set Opera to identify itself as Opera and not as IE6.

I have read there is software to recover deleted pictures out of a SD CARD, I tried a demo from Photorecovery and it found 900 files, but I could not see any of the pictures, but it lead me to believe they are still there.
Can any of you Photo Masters recomend a free software that would help me recover the pictures I was forced to delete?
